Niko kept quiet, looking to his daughter as Arwen spoke to her. He bounced her once on his hip with a smile, encouraging her. "Good." Her small voice was casual, almost bored. "I saw Rudolph!"

“To be fair, she doesn’t really know what it is.” He laughed, rolling his eyes fondly. “But she loves spaghetti, so I’m pretty sure I could put red sauce on anything and she’ll eat it.”

“Small miracles.” He laughed, smiling brightly at her. He liked Arwen, he was glad his brother was friends with her. His gaze shifted to Stella, watching as she nodded. “Suddenly shy, baby? Tell her what we had for dinner last night.” She looked to him once before shouting “Sketti squash!”

“Spaghetti squash?” Arwen smiled at the little girl. “Wow. You must be really brave. Only the bravest eat spaghetti squash.”
