Can we just talk about how James literally ricochets a bottle off John's unbreakable skin in order to hit an Orchis Agent? Because it was so unnecessary but so awesome

The Proudstar Family - Thunderbird (John Proudstar), Warpath (James Proudstar) and Grandma Lozen Proudstar, are in charge of Camp Gozhoo where they shelter the mutant refugees. However, the Orchis soldiers had invaded their place and they started to harass the mutants. This prompts the Proudstar Brothers to fight off the Orchis soldiers. Also, Grandma Lozen stood up to the Orchis soldiers showing no fear as she laughs in their faces defiantly.

Thunderbird przyjął zaproszenie.                                                                       - Podczas walki z Count Nefaria, John wskoczył na samolot, którym ten złodupiec uciekał i zniszczył wewnętrzne systemy. Doprowadziło to do eksplozji, która momentalnie zabiła Thunderbirda. Nefarii udało się uciec za pomocą narzędzia teleportacyjnego.                                                                                  - Wskrzeszony przez Selene, dołączył do jej nieumarłej armii. Spoczął ponownie w grobie kiedy X-Force (wraz z Warpathem) pokonało Selene.        - Podczas eventu "Chaos War" przekroczył bramy Underworld wraz z pozostałymi wskrzeszonymi X-Men: Banshee, Moira McTaggert, Esme i Sophie Cuckoo, oraz trzema duplikatami Multiple Mana. Pokonał siły Carrion Crow dzięki bogowi Apaczów, "Thunderbirdowi" i kolejny raz powrócił do grobu.

ㅤㅤㅤJames isn't sure why Ryouta is telling him this now (is it a playful warning? Because Proudstar considers him the opposite of a nuisance, really), but it still makes the taller mutant laugh. He pauses in unloading supplies, bracing his elbow on a crate and looking Ry over with a smirk.

ㅤㅤㅤ"Y'know, you kinda sound like your sister right now?" James doesn't bother clarifying which one (It's Gabby), just flashes the other mutant a shit-eating grin. "...It's cute."

ㅤㅤㅤ"Ah.." James follows the direction of John's gaze, his eyes catching on one of the few scars that's managed to stick whenever the mutant takes a beating. "...yeah, that one. It was from after you were gone."

ㅤㅤㅤThey don't talk about that part, really. Those years that passed while the Proudstar Brothers were apart. James figures it doesn't matter anyway... trauma like theirs deserves to stay in the past. And it's not as if any of it could change who they are to one another.

ㅤㅤㅤThe younger mutant rotates his shoulder, raised skin of the ropey scar shiny and smooth in the half-light of the bar. "It's from Victor Creed, if you can believe it. That asshole has actual claws for fingers."
