i love you METAPHORS FOR GRIEF!! the pain of losing someone you cared for feels like it lasts an eternity and it is an eternity. it feels as if you're a broken record, spinning round and round (like a circle in a spiral like a wheel within a wheel) but however many seconds in that eternity, however many years it takes to move on, to seek a future beyond the prison of your mind – it feels like billions for each and every one of us, as ghost clara says: "you're not the first person to ever have lost someone".

every grieving person is stuck in their own confession dial. an endless fruitless unceasing loop of guilt. what could i have done? what could i have done? what could i have done?

but however long it takes, it is not forever. nothing can possibly remain the same forever. simple physics. entropy. everything decays, even grief. piece by piece, word by word, bird by bird. this hole you dig is not your grave. get up. pull yourself out of the pit. even diamond is subject to erosion.

My NON CANNON Leo meets Clara comic i was talking about yesterday

I should wait to post this, but i'm not. I just spent the last six hours rendering this.(i know it's six hours b/c i listen to the entire first book of hitchhikers guide while doing so, and that's five and a half) and want this posted now.

anyway! Explanation!

this non-cannon version, Donnie died early in the apocalypse timeline. The day he died, Leo immediately went into his lab, hoping he had some sort of 'get out of death free' plan on his computers. he couldn't access it. Instead, Clara, a freshly hatched turtle tot (and Leo's Seer successor) makes herself known.

i might do more for this. I have a bit of an idea of doing a small comic where Clara finds a video message left for her by Donnie, but we shall see. (i have to figure out clara a bit more before i do anythign like that.)

I kept thinking about this last night, how the entire "boyfriend" conversation happens within what feels like 24 to 48 hours for Clara (time in Doctor Who is tricky enough, please).

I know (I'm sure) it's intentional writing, but this entire thing starts with:

"Emergency, you're my boyfriend."

To 12 going "I'm not your boyfriend" and, knowing he called the present Clara from Trenzalore long ago, telling her "Better get that, it might be your boyfriend" because he knows Clara would've still accepted 11 as her boyfriend and only changed her mind when his face (and physical age) changed into something much older.

I just couldn't sleep, thinking about this.

DSMP AU(?)Explanation Pt. 1

So, back in SL,UT, Wilbur is siblings with Clara. He’s still the son of Phil. But they had a different mom named Elena. She died during Wilbur’s birth, later straining his relationship with Clara(who is older than him by 3 yrs). Phil marries Kristen(still the Goddess of Death)4 years after Elena’s death. Clara gets her brown hair from Elena, but she dyes it orange later. Wilbur’s hair is naturally blonde. In 3 years Kristen then has to leave(bc she’s a goddess)and Phil leaves 5 years after with Techno, leaving Clara(15) to take care of Wilbur(12). In 6 years, Wilbur(now 18)moves out and gets an apartment. Clara(20)decides to drink for the first time, and Wilbur tries smoking(as influenced by his sister smoking a lot when she took care of him)and gets addicted. 2 years later(20)Wilbur finds a baby at his doorstep. The baby later turns out to be Tommy, and to support the baby, Wilbur takes up another job, sex work. At first, he is ashamed of it, but he soon learns to embrace the art. It’s not always the best there(drunk people), but it’s helped him figure out he likes men too. Then he meets Sally at a strip club and they become good friends, which blossoms into a relationship. Tommy is 3 when Wilbur and Sally have Floris, who later becomes Fundy.

cambrie and clara had been living together for a few months now, random roommates set up for her sophomore year of college. it wasn't ideal, but cambrie didn't mind clara at all. actually, and this she would never admit, there was something about clara that cambrie couldn't shake. it was hard to distinguish if it was jealousy, or budding friendship or...something more. she tries not to think about and instead keeps to herself and her studies, being polite as she tried to be the best roommate she could be.

airpods in, head in the clouds, she pushes into her dorm. usually she's in class right now but it let out early and so she figured she could get ahead of some work with her spare time. as she steps in, she's met with a startling sight. clara, laid across her bed, hand around her cock, screen propped up next to her. she can't help but shriek, pressing her back against the door. "shit! sorry...sorry." she shakes her head but can't will herself to look away from clara's naked body.
