👎🏻 I've been catching up on some KBLs from last year this month and sadly most of them were very disappointing. I put a few on my watchlist that generally had good reviews but yeah let's just say I'm glad I didn't miss anything in the last 2 years lol. The only one I liked was Love Mate, the rest was pretty much pointless. Hopefully the upcoming ones will be better 🤞🏻

byun jaein, the leader of clouded and a gumiho of distant relation to the ceo of bloomlide, boo junseo. he took on the responsibility of leading his group, trying his best to stear them in the right direction. they were his younger brothers, the ones he trusted the most and did anything to protect and help them. so when hwi broke that trust and shattered their group, he disappeared. he took all the guilt and responsibilty and left.

song ‘foxen’ taeil, a member of clouded and a gumiho. he was kicked out of his house by hid parents for becoming a trainee at bloomlide and hwi was the first friend he made. hwi had let him crash with him and stay with him all through out training, they were like family in his eyes. he trusted him the most and even looked up to him. he took the events the hardest and became a solo artist with deep rooted anger issues.

kim sunjae, a member of clouded and a vampire. he joined bloomlide in an attempt to search for some kind of purpose after ending up betrayed by his own brother for the man who turned him into this monster. the group were the first people who fully accepted him and helped him get back on his feet. he almost killed hwi himself for what happened before deciding to redebut in harvest moon with quinn.

quinn chwe, a member of clouded and a werewolf. he came from a very poor home with parents who could barely afford to take care of him. so when he joined the group, the rest of them always helped and pitched in. they helped him take care of his family and they were all treated like siblings he never had. even his parents were devistated by hwi’s actions but music had become his passion, so he redebuted with jae into harvest moon.

liu ‘hwi’ haoyu, a member of clouded and a vampire. his past is mostly unknown which none of the group had questioned before because they all accepted that they had their secrets but his were worse. he had been caught using fans from concerts and fansigns as bloodbags, caring very little if they lived or died. he broke the contract with bloomlide as well as the trust his group had in him. after the scandal, he was in the wind. gone, just like that.

kittichat ‘leon’ praves, a member of clouded and a freshly turned werewolf. he had come to bloomlide to become an idol, something he fought tooth and nail for from his helecopter parents. he was turned just before auditioning and the group were the ones who helped him through controlling it and all his full moons. after the scandal and the group disbanding, his parents refused to let him redebute or even participate in music again. so now he’s left in korea to finish college before he will be dragged back home.

song gyuri, a member of the girl group se7en and a vampire turned by hwi. she had been a fan of clouded since their trainee days and had done her best to show her support but her life changed the day she finally was able to get into a fansign. hwi had taken an interest in her and even invited her somewhere private. she never thought to say no but maybe if she did, she wouldn’t have woken up in a pool of blood and her life changed forever.

se podría creer hay poco que decir sobre byun junseo que no sea evidente a simple vista: un joven coreano con un gusto por las ropas de tonalidades pasteles y claras, por las prendas femeninas, y con un frondoso cabello teñido de rosa que lo hacen lucir como un muchacho adorable y hasta inofensivo, y si bien quizás hay algo de razón en ello, el joven esconde mucha más historia de la que aparenta. 

junseo nació siendo el menor entre dos hermanos, aunque su crianza no distó mucho de la que le fue brindada a su hermana mayor: sus padres, liberales y comprometidos con las causas sociales, siempre le brindaron todo el espacio que deseara para explorar el mundo y a sí mismo como gustase más allá de las convencionalidades sociales. así, junseo no tuvo demasiados problemas para asumir su homosexualidad a temprana edad, ni tampoco para experimentar con su apariencia física. aunque aquello le costó cierta reprobación de sus pares y sus superiores, el joven encontró en el internet otro espacio para convivir entre personas como él.

fue allí en donde conoció a su primer amor y el que también se convertiría en su más grande desamor. ilusionado con promesas de un futuro juntos, junseo abandonó su hogar para partir al lado de su entonces novio, músico miembro de una banda de rock novata. junto a él recorrió múltiples ciudades y localidades, pero el compromiso de una relación como la que junseo buscaba jamás llegó  — en vez de eso recibió infidelidad tras infidelidad, hasta que tras un hecho algo grave, el joven finalmente acabó con la relación y volvió a su hogar.

de regreso en casa junseo se encontró en una posición algo compleja respecto a su futuro tras pasar tanto tiempo alejado de la vida académica y profesional, sin embargo una oportunidad de estabilidad se abrió cuando sus padres le ofrecieron hacerse cargo del negocio familiar: una modesta y antigua librería que en realidad funcionaba como fachada para ocultar un club clandestino que alguna vez acogió a disidentes políticos. junseo lo transformó en un recinto seguro para personas LGBTQ+ que quisieran seguir manteniendo su sexualidad en privado o que simplemente prefieran de espacios más íntimos para compartir. el club se compromete con su privacidad, así también como la del encargado — junseo adoptó el seudónimo de ren para utilizarlo en el trabajo, el mismo que utiliza en el internet.

si bien su trabajo lo ha llevado a conocer a muchas personas, jamás volvió a entrar en una relación como la que mantuvo con aquel trágico primer amor, incluso aunque nunca ha dejado de ilusionarse con la idea de aquel soñado romance.

se siente cómodo con la cercanía al género fluido, y pese a no tener aquel asunto zanjado del todo, su identificación con lo femenino siempre ha estado presente.

suele usar prendas como mini faldas, vestidos y tacones, además de darle una especial dedicación a su maquillaje.

tiene preferencia por la música pop, aunque gracias a su crianza y su cercanía con la banda de su ex-novio también disfruta del rock y sus derivados.

la librería es atendida por sus padres mientras él cumple con la labor de asistente,  funciona en el primer piso y tras ella se encuentra el club que también cuenta con un espacio en el subterráneo, mientras que su hogar comprende el segundo y el tercer piso de la casa.

ren siente una gran identificación con la flor de loto y la simbología tras ella. también está referenciada en el nombre del club.

ni en su trabajo ni en su vida personal ren es ajeno al uso de drogas, aunque la única que realmente causó un impacto en su vida fue el lsd.
