𝗙𝗥𝗘𝗘𝗗𝗢𝗠 Freedom at Last ⁡ 購入日：1984年2月23日 購入先：Disc Union（東京） ⁡ プロコルハルムのメンバーだったボビーハリソンが新たに結成したバンド。音は、サイケにブルース、当時の流行り。正直、B級なんだけど許容範囲。ビートルズやゾンビーズのカバーもしている。同じ活動時期、FREEもデビューしていたんだから他のバンド名でも良かったのにとも思う。インナージャケットのイラストの顔がエドワードバンヘイレンに似てると思うは僕だけかな。 ⁡ Date of purchase: 23 February 1984 Purchased at: Disc Union (Tokyo) ⁡ Newly formed band by Bobby Harrison, a former member of Procol Harum. Sound: psychedelic and blues, the trend at the time. Frankly, it’s B-grade but acceptable. They also do covers of The Beatles and The Zombies. The same period of activity, FREE also made their debut, so they could have used another band name. Art Ensemble of Chicago ‎– Message to Our Folks LP. Originally relased by BYG Records on 1969. This is later US pressing from the year unknown. It is common that this kind of pressings have quality issues so I wasn't shocked when I pulled out dusty record with permanent fingerprints out from the bulk paper inner sleeves. Record is also slightly warped, I bet it was pressed by Rainbo. Sound quality in general is pretty satisfying. Today I found at the local Dortmund record fair two more for my 1967 collection: Joe Harriot & John Mayer "Indo-Jazz Fusions" and the "Now - And Them" that Them recorded without Van Morrison. And some more good stuff! The Olatunji featers Yusef Lateef, Ray Barreto and more. Biggest suprise: The Latin Dimension from 1968 with some killer Latin, Soul, R&B grooves to dance the autumn leaves away.
