Sky here! Not experiencing a psychological event*. Or posessed or hacked.

(*Well... I always am... but not regarding the identity stuff, just hormones and my usual stuff.)

I only created a third person persona for the reasons Imogen says. I'm going to refer to her as Imogen, as if she is a person, because it's entertaining and might help with the effectiveness.

I might explain more fully how I expect this to work later. Basically Imogen's plan is to be third person to Sky; I'm mean to myself but it's harder to be mean to other people, so I think the linguistic device will help with honest and kind self analysis. Actually, I didn't plan any of this, Imogen was, even though obviously to almost any interpretation that just means it was me doing it in a silly voice.

However it was surprisingly immersive. I avoided using "Sky" as a self reference for a couple of hours, just left Imogen in charge and thought entirely from that perspective. It's kind of fun. Imogen isn't very different from me though, on account of not existing.

Outcomes:

-Surprisingly pleasant to recieve a compliment from Imogen. I didn't think that would feel like anything, because I know she isn't real and complimenting myself is... probably nothing... I admit to not having tried it.

-I don't know why Imogen is posting on here with my real name. I keep my name separate from this account. Obviously we have the same memories and thoughts on account of being one person doing a bit, but this is surprising. I think it makes sense regarding Imogen's purpose for self-actualisation and being unselfconsciously genuine: I would kind of love to have all this out in the open, on main so to speak, even though that would also be embarassing.

I have to stress that DID is real and I have no reason to believe I have it. I don't want to accidentally misrepresent anyone, this linguistic thing just happens to resemble it.

Anyway, it's not like I seemed normal before this either.
