Now a portion of my whinings

Lev wanted to start the new year with a full-rendered complex piece with background and stuff, and right at that moment she caught a cold, her period started, and knee pain fell on her. And she was squeezing this art for 4 days in a row, suffering

Worth it 👍

Risky. Risky after a break to return to the blog with a full ass illustration, which often don't get much unlike sketches and comics, but moreover it is also an unfamiliar story to you. but I am well aware of these risks, I take them all on myself

This year I will strive to draw at least one full illustration every month. I want to make a sick portfolio and also do a regular practice!

In my summary, I complained about how little blue art I had last year. Well, look at me go, starting the year with the bluest art possible ehehehehehe

Indeed. You can see she’s covered it with some makeup, but it’s still extensive - and that’s after nearly three weeks! It must’ve been so sore 🥺

Wildflowers in subalpine meadows are winding down, but late blooming wildflowers are still abundant. Look for plenty of Cascade aster, pearly everlasting, and fireweed around Paradise and other locations. Along trails, even one patch of wildflowers can make an impression, like this photo of broadleaf arnica (Arnica latifolia) in front of Comet Falls.

Remember to please stay on trail! It doesn’t take many steps to trample the wildflowers you are coming to see. Many trails offer great opportunities for that perfect  mountain (or waterfall) + wildflower photo. Where are you finding wildflowers?

chronological lineup of the main characters of "Arnica" - our project based on Tandem AU, which has been in development for almost a year (we started coming up with it somewhere around January 2024)

our heroes are called Nico and Arthur

Arthur is a young king who had to ascend the throne early

Nico is a little genie, currently chained to his mirror. Arthur's loyal friend and assistant

the kids' lives are full of difficulties, and only by being each other's support do they get through them

unfortunately, I won't share with you any more details about this story for now, since we would like to keep some secrets until the comic with them starts to come out, for which we have everything ready in terms of the plot ^^
