GALLERY: Louis Tomlinson
by Amber Hicks
Louis Tomlinson brought his Faith In The Future World Tour to the Red Hat Amphitheater in Raleigh, NC, last Friday night. Opening up the show was none other than 23-year-old singer-songwriter Andrew Cushin. Singing about some of his real-life experiences, Cushin was able to connect with the crowd and deliver a raw and vulnerable performance.
Following Cushin’s performance, Giant Rooks, an indie rock quintet consisting of Jonathan Wischniowski (piano), Finn Thomas (drums), Luca Göttner (bass), Finn Schwieters (guitar), and Frederik Rabe (guitar) enthusiastically took the stage and successfully provided an electrifying performance throughout their whole set.
Before you knew it, it was time for Louis Tomlinson, the man of the hour to take the stage. Kicking things off with “The Greatest,” Tomlinson could not have picked a better song to start off the night letting his fans know that together, they are the greatest. Going straight into “Bigger Than Me,” a song about self-growth and staying positive, Tomlinson continued the trend of vulnerability and honesty throughout the night.
Going back to his roots, Tomlinson made sure to play “Night Changes” and “Where Do Broken Hearts Go,” both songs from his former band, One Direction. As expected, the Raleigh crowd belted the lyrics back to Tomlinson as the songs continued. All throughout the night, Tomlinson made sure to put on an electrifying performance for his fans while also making sure that they knew how appreciative he was of them. Check out some of our highlights from the show below.

heyy i love how well written your works are, and i was wondering if there could be another tara carpenter x gp reader?? an enemies to lovers kinda thing, smut/fluff but it is totally up to you!! thankss❤️
All Mine
Tara Carpenter x gp!reader
Words: 2.8k
A/n: thank you!! also kind of a combination of this request and a prompt in this request
Warnings: reader has a penis, hate fuck? i think?, bottom!T, top!R, explicit sex, implication of breeding kink, teasing (lots of it), unprotected sex (your pullout game is weak), implication of alcohol consumption, no ghostface au
MINORS DNI!!
Tara hates three things in her life. You, hairless cats, and soggy bread. In that order too
She could handle hating hairless cats and soggy bread, but you? You were in Tara’s friend group. Tara hated you and to make matters worse, she was the only one that did
You were nerdy like Wes and Ethan, quick-witted and funny like Mindy and Amber, athletic like Chad, charismatic like Quinn, protective like Sam, and (allegedly) nice like Anika. You had nearly every one of her friends best traits, but Tara knew why she didn’t like you. You were really fucking annoying
Along with all of your positive traits, you were loud and obnoxiously social. Not that Tara was antisocial or anything, but god you were on a whole other level. It was mildly infuriating how you could go to a party you knew nobody at and somehow come out with more friends than you started with
All those people and you decided Tara was the one you’d annoy. A nudge to her shoulder made Tara look up from where she was putting her head down
“You look like shit” The brunette doesn’t respond and puts her head back down on the table
“Sam tase someone without your permission again?” Tara could practically hear the smirk in your voice
“Please for the love of god shut the fuck up. Your voice is the last thing I need to hear today”
“Woah, someone’s mad” You stick out your tongue in response at the glare Tara sends your way
“Suck my dick, (Y/n).”
“Don’t tempt me with a good time, Carpenter”
Tara abruptly leaves the lecture room. You think you really fucked up this time, but let out a breath of relief when you see that Tara didn’t grab her things. She was probably going to the bathroom to escape you. Which, who would ever want to escape you?
Apparently not Tara because she’s back in her seat just a few minutes before the lecture starts
“Aspirin?” You grab the bottle from a pocket in your bag, shaking it next to her
“You have Aspirin laying around?”
“Anika told me you were at a party, I figured it’s the least I could do”
“You’re trying to drug me, aren’t you?”
“If I was trying to drug you, I would’ve offered it to you at the end of class”
“Why weren’t you at the party?” Tara asks, taking the bottle from you hands and shaking out two tablets before downing them with some water
“Missed me?”
“Nope, just surprised you weren’t blackout drunk”
“Good to know you think highly of me. I was studying, thank you”
“You? Study?” Tara scoffs
“Don’t act like the idea is so out of this world”
“Right, because last time I remember you passing up a party was because your betta fish died and you forced all of us to have a funeral for him at the park”
“Trout’s death is not one to be made fun of!”
Before Tara can respond, the professor starts talking and the lesson begins. Unfortunately her head is still kind of throbbing with only mildly wanting to throw up. She had to accept she wasn’t going to get anything done until that Aspirin kicked in. Especially when she can feel you staring at her
The class goes as smoothly as it can and you notice Tara hasn’t made an effort to even try to take notes. The lesson eventually ends and when everyone gets up, the brunette begrudgingly does too
You bump your shoulders together and Tara glares at you with enough power you actually manage to feel fear for a split second until you realize it’s Tara. The girl was like two apples tall. Two and a half on a good day
The brunette doesn’t realize you were handing her a paper so you physically have to place it in her hand. Her eyebrows furrow in confusion
“What is this?”
“Notes, you need them”
“I’m not buying you Raising Canes if that’s what you want”
“Since I’m such a good friend, I’ll give it to you free of charge. Just make sure to bring it back with minimal damage”
“You’re not gonna make me Paypal you fifty bucks?” Tara doesn’t have any classes for the next few hours so you two made a point to walk to your next class. She didn’t know how it started, but you were okay to talk to when you weren’t being annoying
“In my defense, Trout recently died”
“We buried him in the fucking park, I don’t think that costs money”
“It was condolence money. I made everyone pay and I think it was pretty genius”
“I really do wonder how you still have friends”
//-//
Someone knocks on the door of you and Anika’s apartment. When you realize your roommate is probably listening to music that was too loud to be healthy, you get up from your very comfortable bed
You don’t remember ordering food and you’re pretty sure Anika didn’t invite Mindy over, so the person behind the door was probably just the nice old lady across the hall that made cookies for everyone
For better or for worse, you’re met with a Tara Carpenter that’s caught off guard when you open the door. Tara usually sees you in well put together outfits so you can only imagine her surprise when she sees you wearing boxers that outlined your cock and a hoodie that barely covered it up
“Eyes are up here- What brings you to the Mojo Dojo Casa House?”
“Can’t you just let me in?” Tara’s cheeks burn in embarrassment. Thank god you just glossed over… it
“It’s protocol you identify yourself and state why you’re here” You lean on the doorframe, actively blocking the entrance to your apartment. Tara knew this was a losing battle and hated how you looked hot while winning
“Anika and I have a project we need to work on”
“You didn’t identify yourself” you’re wearing that same dumbass smirk you have after telling a horrible joke
“Tara. Tara fucking Carpenter.”
“Unfortunately I don’t think we know any Tara Fucking Carpenters. Guess you can’t come in” you shrug
“God give me patience.” Tara rubs at her temples like you’re giving her a headache
“Isn’t it god give me strength?”
“If god gave me strength, you would be dead.”
“Point taken, but you still need a password”
“You didn’t say anything about a password!”
“Yeah, well, I don’t know if you’re the real Tara or not. Say a fact about me only the real Tara would know”
The brunette pretends to think for a moment, even putting her hand on her chin and looking off into the distance for effect. When she notices you’re starting to get suspicious of her antics Tara pushes you though the door, successfully getting in without a password or confirmation
You stumble back almost like a cartoon character and you can hear Tara let out a small laugh. You can see the dimples on her cheeks whe she tries to cover it up with her hand
“Nika, your friend’s here!” You lead Tara to Anika’s room, making sure to knock loudly while Tara’s busy either checking you out or trying to blow you up with her mind. It’s unclear, but you have to lean towards the latter
“Isn’t Tara your friend too?” Your roommate opens the door, headphones around her neck
“No.”
“Yes.” Both of you say in unison. The look you give each other is almost comical with how Tara’s glaring while you’re smiling. Anika stares blankly between you two and it eventually starts to make more sense
“Stop eye fucking each other, we have work to do” Anika pulls Tara into her room. You shrug, heading off to probably yell at ten year olds on Fortnite or something
“We were not eye fucking” the shorter girl huffs, sitting on Anika’s bed
“I literally opened my door and thought you two were about to make out”
“I didn’t expect to get interrogated when I came here!” Tara flops onto her back, covering her eyes and trying (and failing) to stop the red that dusted her cheeks
“Whatever, I’ll get you to crack later”
“Kill yourself.”
//-//
Tara doesn’t understand what she’s feeling when she sees some random girl grind against you
It’s like that one scene in Euphoria when Maddy and Nate stare each other down at the school dance, except you were looking far more more bored. That is, until you see Tara glaring at both of you
Like a switch turned on, you’re suddenly more interested in the girl. You encourage her grinding with a hand kneading her hip, using your other hand to take a sip of your drink. And just like Maddy, she’s tempted to find Chad to do the same to you. She doesn’t.
Tara fucking hated you. But she also needed you now.
Making you jealous would take too long. In theory she had the time, but her hunger to taste you was making her do things she would’ve never thought of before. One of those things being grabbing your hand and leading you away from any girl that tried to even look at you.
The girl who was grinding on you calls her a bitch among other things, but Tara knows it’s worth it when she sees you smile at her like she’s your entire world. Because she was your entire world
She leads you into an empty guest bedroom of the house, locking the door before getting close enough to you she can smell the alcohol in your breath
“What’s all this about, Tar?” You grin. Tara doesn’t know if she wants to kiss or slap that smirk right off of your annoying face
“You know what this is fucking about.”
“Do I? I think you should spell it out for me.”
“You know, I’ve had it with your attitude.” Tara jabs a finger at your chest, the back of your knees hitting the end of the bed. In one motion you sit down and bring Tara down with you. You make her sit on your cock
“Anyone ever tell you you’re fucking hot when you’re mad?” You smile, finding the blush on Tara’s cheeks absolutely adorable
“Only you.”
“Good. How about we keep it that way, baby?”
“You’re so annoying.” The brunette cups your face with both of her hands, your lips fitting together like they were always meant to
“I know I am” You say in between kisses, your hands finding their way up Tara’s shirt, kneading the spot right under her boob. She forces your hand to stimulate her nipple, eliciting a moan from her mouth
“You’re so pretty, Tar. I can’t believe only I get to see you get all hot and bothered” You smile breathlessly
“Fuck. S-Stop talking like that or you’ll make me like you” Biting a hickey on Tara’s neck, you take of her shirt and her bra in a flurry of heat
“I bet you’ll like me even more when you’re bouncing on my cock” You force Tara to grind on the bulge in your pants, earning you a small whimper that makes you smile
“C’mon, all you have to do is admit you like me and I’ll fuck you better than anyone has” It should be considered torture how much you were teasing Tara. You were biting hickeys on her neck, playing with her nipples, all while a few layers of fabric were the only barriers between your dick and her pussy. Fuck you knew how to overstimulate a girl
Laying Tara on on the bed, you could really tease the brunette better in this position. You can feel the Tara’s wetness through her soaked panties, and you’re sure she can feel the pre-cum leak out of your cock. Your hands are on her hips as if you were thrusting, yet you deny her and your pleasure for the sake of being an ass
“Don’t you want me to ruin you for anyone else? I promise I’ll stretch you out so good no other guys’ cock can fill you up like me.”
“Fuck you. I hate you, you’re s-such a fucking asshole, you know that?” Tara reaches for anything she can hold onto, your arms being the nearest thing
“I can think ways you could ‘hate’ me even more” You smile when Tara reaches to take off her panties but you find her hands first. You intertwine your hands together and the action is so soft Tara almost forgets about the situation she’s in. Almost
“Whenever I masturbate I think of you, did you know that? God, sometimes I have these hookups and all I can think about is you cumming around my cock”
Tara thinks it’s embarrassing how she’s about to cum just by your sickeningly sweet voice and the constant friction between you two. Tara also thinks she’d rather die than miss an opportunity of a lifetime.
Sure you were a cocky pain in the ass, but you were her cocky pain in the ass.
“Fuck- I admit it! I think you’re the hottest fucking person in the world. I like you.” Tara looks straight into your eyes, and the smile reserved only for her makes another appearance
“That wasn’t so hard, was it Tar?”
“I still hate you.” You unbuckle your belt and unbutton and unzip your jeans with watchful eyes. You pull down your boxers just enough so that your cock springs out, making Tara’s mouth water. Fuck you were big
Pulling Tara’s panties to the side, she’s dripping wet when you swipe your finger across her slit
“Fuck- (Y-Y/n)” Tara sings when you lick up her juices with your tongue. She buries her hands in your hair, bringing you closer to her dripping cunt. You moan at her taste and the vibrations are almost enough to get Tara to cum. Almost
You rise to your knees, lining up your dripping cock with the shorter girls dripping pussy. You decide to be evil and rub your dick against her slit before easing your tip into her hole. It was infuriating how slow you were going and Tara remembers why she hated you in the first place
Tara’s whining and whimpering under you and you can’t remember a time where you’ve been happier than in this moment
Tara on the other hand, has never hated you more in her life than in this moment
The younger Carpenter decides to be bold when she grabs your shirt and forces you forward. You’re caught off guard and over half of your cock finds itself nestled tightly in her pussy as you catch yourself with your arms
“Y-You’re sneaky, aren’t ‘cha” With your face so close to hers, Tara realizes you’re as much of a victim to your teasing as she is. She can tell it’s taking everything inside of you not to fuck her raw until your dick is limp and Tara’s legs are sore
“You can go fast. I can handle it, baby” Tara cups your face with her hand, stroking your cheek with such softness like you aren’t literally lodged into her cunt like a dog in heat
With that confirmation, you give Tara a peck on the lips and buck your hips in such a way you hit that spongey spot inside of her
The sound of skin slapping is louder than the blasting music downstairs, but your grunting and Tara’s moaning combined are louder than both. Thank god the owner of the house was your friend because you don’t know if you could come out of that room if this is what Tara sounded like
“Fuck- I’m close” You say a little too breathlessly for your liking
“Don’t p-pull out.” The shorter girl uses your shirt as leverage to keep you inside of her. Your eyebrows furrow in confusion
“T-Too messy, don’t feel like cleaning up.” Tara answers between moans like she can read your mind
The familiar heat you’re so used to finally snaps. Wrapping her legs around yours, you cum with almost a guttural whine. Your orgasm is enough for Tara to have hers and you fuck her through it, making sure none of your cum drips out of her hole
You pull out and a few dribbles of your semen flow out of her cunt. You plug her pussy with your fingers and Tara is far too sensitive to handle it
“D-Don’t tell me you’re tired already?” Tara jokes, but all air in her lungs leave when you let out a laugh of your own
“I’ve got all night, love.”
Tara has to remember to make you buy her a morning after pill.

Summary: After the Carpenter household events. You get Tara help at the Hospital in Woodboro so you stay overnight for her protection before notifying those close to her. Thankfully everyone who was notified arrived. However, the rest of the evening doesn’t go as planned as Sam gets attacked and you are forced to face old feelings that arise from your past.
Warnings: Some Cussing, Manipulation, Authority Figures,
Part 1 Part 2 Part 3 (Coming Soon)
“Stop this car!!! You need to break right now!!!” your passenger yelled, both of you watching the speedometer go from 20 mph and jump to 70 mph.
“I-I can’t! The breaks aren’t working. I need to let the car slow down!!” you yell in the car while you try to think of a way for you and your passenger to get out of the situation safely.
Then you heard the screech of your tires and then a scream from your little sister erupted in your ears.
The scream was so loud and clear that when you opened your eyes upon sitting up you had to quickly shield them from the bright light above, even with the pounding in your head. It felt like you had been drinking alcohol even though knowing yourself you wouldn't allow yourself to get that far in any setting. However, slowly you start to reintroduce your eyes to the light in the room, bringing your hand down as you look around the hospital room you occupy before slowly turning your head to the left where you see a giant water bottle on a table not far from you.
“I’m glad to see you're awake” you hear a nurse say, causing you to turn your head as you see an older woman walk into the room with a clipboard and a cop. Then as the nurse got closer to your bed you slowly squint your eyes to get a better look at her name tag, Genie, before allowing her to check you out momentarily.
“Hello, Miss. I’m Officer Mavis, do you remember your name?” Officer Mavis asked as she approached you before looking over at the nurse at her side “Or when you were born like your month, day, and year?”.
You heard the officer ask so you slowly nodded before answering “My name is Y/N Freeman. My date of birth is…” You paused for a minute, “ XX / XX / XXXX” you said soon after while hearing the nurse write something on her clipboard.
“Do you remember how you got here Miss Freeman and why you’re here?” the officer asked you after as she waited for your response, putting her hands comfortably on her belt. While all you could do was take a deep breath as you thought about her question when your eyes searched the room, finding your keys.
“I-I think…I think I drove here to see someone” you said softly, questioning why you were at the hospital in the first place before massaging your face briefly causing the nurse to nod at your ability to recall what you were planning to do earlier. Then she handed you the water bottle from the table, but the nurse asked you a question before you drank it.
“Miss Freeman, do you want me to get a doctor for you?” she asked and for a minute you thought about it knowing what she was getting at before shaking your head ‘No’ Your answer made Officer Mavis nod slowly in agreement before handing you her card.
“Here’s my card just in case you remember anything else later” Officer Mavis informed you wanting to make sure you were cared for, not realizing that you both had gone to school together.
“Thank you, Officer Mavis and Nurse Genie for looking out for me,” you thanked as you took the card from the officer before slowly getting back on your feet then the nurse walked over to you when you suddenly stumbled into the Police Officer. “Apologies Officer Mavis I wasn’t trying to make a pass at you” you apologized to the Officer causing her to laugh as Nurse Genie’s hands kept you steady.
“Don’t worry about it, you're fine, Freeman. I’ll help her over to the desk, Genie” she said aloud to the nurse. Then she led you to the right corner of the room so you could get your belongings.
Afterward, you wondered how you got into the hospital and who would have alerted the staff so you asked. “Nurse Genie…” You started, trying to come up with other words to help convey what you wanted to say as your brain felt foggy from the lack of sleep and not just the slight hangover you had “Who found me?”
Your question made her and the Officer stop and wonder for themselves as to who alerted the hospital so Nurse Genie looked over at you briefly before looking at the head nurse in the hallway. “Hey, Jackie, do you know who found our patient?” she asked before making her way to the front desk to help you check out.
“Of course, the name of the person who found her was Lauren. She was on her way to her car when she found Miss Freeman unconscious in the parking lot so she called Officer Mavis from outside to help get some staff for her and a bed” Head Nurse Jackie explained before looking at Officer Mavis. Her eyes looked her up and down as she smiled. Her smile brought a smile to your face as you noticed that look in her eye for the Officer beside you as she continued to help you across the hall, making it to the desk with you so could give your information and pay for your stay.
“Thank you ladies for your help” you thanked, as you signed your name on a pad so you could easily pay before you went into your phone genuinely surprised to see it in good condition. Then absentmindedly you opened up your notes to find a list of where you planned to go in the hospital.
To your surprise, you left yourself a note directing you on where to go in the hospital so some part of you realized that you can be forgetful but not black out forgetful. However, despite recent events, you pat yourself on the back for sort of looking out for yourself so you decide to let Genie know where you are going before heading to the elevator so you can see how Tara’s doing.
“SOMEBODY HELP ME!!! HE’S TRYING TO KILL ME!!!” Sam screams trying to get someone anyone’s attention while she runs down the hallway trying to create distance between her and the killer.
While she is running for her life you hear Sam’s scream causing you to go from your casual walking speed to a full on sprint down the hallway. “SAM!?” you scream out to her. “SAM!? WHERE ARE YOU!?” you yell out again trying to figure out where she is in the hospital before you both run smack into each other, falling to the floor. Although you can imagine that you both are in pain from the impact you sit up bringing your friend up along with you when you notice Sam crying on your chest. “Sammy” you call her by her nickname but she doesn’t look at you in fact she’s too occupied by her experience in the break room to hear your voice until you cup her face so she can focus on looking at you.
Then the officer on the floor came running into the hallway. “Hey Hey, what’s going on?” the officer asked, breathing heavily as you moved your hands from Sam’s face to her shoulders pushing her off of you so you could get up before helping her up afterward.
“Somebody tried to kill me in the breakroom” Sam cried as she held onto you and the cop looked at you before looking at the break room door which aggravated you.
“Deputy Vinson do your job or I will do it for you,” you said to him as Sam wrapped her hand around your arm. In contrast, her other hand gripped the lower part of your shirt and it only got tighter as you walked to the door with the officer before he opened the door to the break room causing Sam to breathe heavily. But to your surprise as well as the officers', no one was in the breakroom causing Sam to hide her face behind your back so for support you rubbed Sam’s hand on your arm to comfort her as you took a deep breath.
“I’m going to have to call this in,” Officer Vinson said as he turned around and walked out of the breakroom and into the main hallway where you and Sam felt safest “Sheriff Hicks we have a situation at the Woodsboro Hospital”
A few hours later Sheriff Judy Hicks arrives at the hospital after you use the bathroom in Tara’s room.
When you open the door to the bathroom you see Sam sitting on the couch, Richie sitting in a chair near her, and your little sister standing near Tara. You immediately notice how Sam looks like she’s either tired or dissociating from whatever happened to her earlier with her encounter with Tara’s killer so you go to sit next to her on the couch to give her some comfort.
“I’ve got a body outside a bar on Main and then you get attacked here. You said the call came from Amber’s number?” Sheriff Judy Hicks asked Sam, and you watched as the older Carpenter nodded to confirm her account of what happened before placing your knee near hers. You wanted to show Sam that despite the prior issues you have with her, you are willing to temporarily put them aside to support her in any way you can before leaning your back against the couch as you listen to the rest of the conversation in the room, soon your eyes gravitated to your little sister.
“So we know he cloned my phone before when he attacked Tara” Amber spoke up as she tried to get her head around what happened before, looking at Tara with a questioning look before looking back at Sheriff Hicks. After your eyes looked over to the next person who started talking, which was Sam’s boyfriend, Richie, someone you don’t really like for some reason.
“And um I’m just spitballing here..you're the killer” he stated so matter of factly which made your little sister give him a dirty look as you were about ready to kick his ass for insinuating that Amber would do such a thing to the two people you consider your extended family.
“What motive would my sister have, jackass?” you defended your sister as Richie stood up causing you to wonder if he was going to try and fight you when he turned his back on Amber to look at you. Then Sam placed her hand on your right thigh, shielding you, her hand caused you to briefly look at her while she used her other hand to place in front of Richie so he wouldn’t try anything.
“Richie stop, Y/n’s right...,” Sam says defending you while staring at her boyfriend. She asked him with her eyes to sit back down on the chair next to her but he didn't, not right away. Then for a brief minute, Sam looked over at you before squeezing your thigh until Sheriff Hicks asked Richie a question.
“And where were you when all of this happened?” Sheriff Hicks asked him with an inquisitive look, finding it odd that an outsider like him would just start pointing fingers at people in the room when he might not have an alibi.
Then Richie turned around “I-” he started before sitting back down in the free chair he found in the room earlier. “I-I was watching Netflix” he confessed as he felt embarrassed, scratching the scruffy beard he was growing on his face before massaging his neck.
You gave a heavy sigh as you went from looking at the side of your best friend's face to her hand on your thigh before looking at the side of Richies face. You were trying to figure out how Sam would allow herself to end up with a loser like Richie and not someone who has half decent qualities like yourself.
“Oooh yeah, a super solid alibi bro” Amber quipped because she found his response for an alibi to be so bad that he could easily have done it. But amongst the jabs, you found yourself looking between Richie and your sister because how they talk to each other seems so odd to you as if they’ve known each other but you can’t recall when your little sister would be out of your sight while your parents were home.
“So where were you?” Richie asked with a half smug smile like he’d caught Amber in a lie when the Sheriff spoke for her.
“I was questioning Amber and her friends at the Sheriff's station,” Sheriff Hicks said, which made you sit back and question where your sister really was because you can recall seeing her face when you left home earlier but not the stench of alcohol and cigarettes.
“Yeah, I came as soon as I heard…” you heard Amber say before she took another jab at Richie. “But you know the Netflix alibi is good too,” she said next causing you, Sam, and Sheriff Hicks to sigh.
“Both of you stop it,” Sheriff Hicks said, slightly annoyed at the constant jabs between the two of them when Sam removed her hand off your thigh to message her hand.
“You're gonna put more cops on her room right?” Sam asked Sheriff Hicks with the most serious face she could portray while you and Tara looked at each other for a moment before looking at Sam and then at the Sheriff.
“Yes, and I could move you to a private floor. Deputy Vinson knows what he’s doing, so you’ll be safe,” the Sheriff said with a serious face, trying to let Sam, who isn’t her favorite person, know that everything would be okay. But Sam doesn’t believe her words or the system.
“Like we’ve been so far?” Sam questioned the Sheriff and you slowly look from Sam to Sheriff Hick’s face because you’ve seen on very rare occasions how these two act around each other. You know it’s not good, but there is some truth to some of Sam’s concerns.
“Samantha let's step outside” you heard the Sheriff say and you know by the tone that what Hicks has to say to Sam is nothing good, especially with that tight lipped smile of hers, so when the girls left you put the strap from the cooler over you and stood near the doorway to eavesdrop.
“Nice to see you, Deputy Hicks,” Sam says to the Sheriff and you sigh because you know Sam can be stubborn. “So many fun memories” A part of you would like to say something to her about her attitude.
“It’s Sheriff Hicks, I remember you too and all of the trouble you used to cause your family,” She said at first and you could feel your blood pressure is about to rise from the Sheriff’s response alone. “Your presence here is not helping so maybe when the sun comes up, you and your boyfriend can hit the road and leave it to the people who actually care about this community” you heard the Sheriff say last and her response made the last part of their conversation very personal to you so when the Sheriff left, you opened the door to confront Sheriff Hicks.
“Sorry I didn’t mean to get in your way,” Sam said to you as she almost walked into you but thought it was weird that she didn’t hear a response. When she looked up you almost looked like a completely different person to her. “Y/n? Y/n don’t” she says to you while you walk past her and down the hallway to Sheriff Hicks.
“Hey Sheriff Hicks” you call the Sheriff’s name causing her to turn away from the elevator after she had called one up.. “I disagree with what you said to Sam a few minutes ago and I think it’s not right to use your biases to cloud your judgment when talking to someone who almost lost her little sister to a potential serial killer and then almost got killed herself,” you said calmly even though you can feel your blood boiling underneath your skin.
“This isn’t up for a debate Y/n, and that conversation was supposed to be between me and that trouble maker so stay out of it,” Sheriff Hicks told you as she tried her best to give you a subtle warning telling you to stop while you're ahead.
“I think this should be up for a debate because the way you are brushing off this incident with Sam is the same brushing off that you did with me and you fucking ignored me then too.” You spat with anger “Where were the people who cared about this community then uh? Because I don’t see one and especially a Sheriff who claims she cares when really, she’s full of shit.”
“Okay Miss Freeman..you don’t want to go down this path with me” Sheriff Hicks started, getting aggravated with you as she took a few steps away from the elevators so she could look at you head on.
“Well maybe I do Judy” you replied to the Sheriff causing her to clench her jaw when she heard her name coming out of your mouth. "Besides wouldn't be the first time" you continued, her respect for you wavering as she stepped ever so closer to you before Sam came to stop you.
“Y/n, there you are Tara wants to talk to you” Sam lies trying to get you away from the Sheriff when Sheriff Hick’s phone goes off as the two of you stay still, staring each other down.
Then you opened your mouth “I know that ringtone Judy. I know that’s Wes’s, you should probably answer that call before he decides to send a search party to come looking for you.” You continued watching as Sheriff Hicks became conflicted because she taught Wes that if she isn’t home by the time she’s supposed that he should call her not once but twice, however, if he has to call for the third time then something might be wrong if she doesn't pick up.
However, Sheriff Hicks lets the call go knowing her rule and because of that rule, she steps away from you but not before warning you for the third time. “Say one more thing. Voice one more snarky thing to me and I’ll have no choice but to arrest you, Y/n” Sheriff Hicks said to you through gritted teeth hoping you would back down first but you don’t.
“Judy, I think if you can’t handle a bit of heat from a citizen while in uniform then you don’t deserve to wear that badge nor have the title of Sheriff that Dewy gave you,” you said, giving the last word as the elevator dinged beside you both.
After saying what you said, Sheriff Hicks takes a deep breath before slowly nodding as she tries her best to refrain from putting you in handcuffs. Because deep down she knows you're right, so in her final attempts to not abuse her power as Sheriff, she walks away from you. “Have a good night ladies" Sheriff Hicks says calmly, before heading into the elevator and fishing for the phone in her pocket to call her son back as the elevator doors close.
After the elevator doors closed you turned to Sam. “Okay,” you started trying to calm down. “You said Tara wanted to talk to me?” you asked before closing your eyes and taking a deep breath. However, when you opened your eyes, you didn’t expect Sam to get in your face.
“It was a lie” Sam replies, a little mad that you didn’t listen to her the first time so she backs you into the wall behind you. “What the hell were you thinking?” she asked angrily trying to figure out how far your head was up your ass because she didn’t want you to go to jail for saying something stupid in her defense.
“What? An old friend you haven’t seen but ignored for five years can’t defend you?!” you question her with anger. For a moment Sam says nothing to you. All she can do is look at you, your question leaving her in shock while you look at her with steel eyes.
“Y/n I-” Sam started but didn’t she know what to say to you, she was speechless before her attention was occupied by the sound of footsteps coming down the hallway so she looked away from you.
“There you both are,” Amber says exasperated causing you to look away from Sam to face your little sister.
“What do you want Amber?” you asked, trying not to get mad at your little sister for interrupting your conversation with Sam.
“I’m here for Sam not you” Amber answered. Then she looked at Sam “Your boyfriend, and your little sister are looking for you” she explained before giving you a dirty look.
“Uh thanks,” Sam said softly to your little sister then she turned to you briefly before walking away.
“What was that about?” Amber asked you after Sam left you both by the elevator hallway to see her sister.
“It’s nothing you should be concerned about,” you replied to your little sister as you slowly started to feel slightly aggravated once again. You weren’t sure why you started to feel this way, angry and sad, so to hide from these feelings, you attempted to walk away from your little sister so you could check on Sam and Tara, but Amber stopped you by pulling your arm.
“Why do you still care about her?” your sister asked you so you turned around to face her. “Why do you still care about Sam? After everything she’s put you through,” Amber continued to ask, trying to get you to isolate yourself from the people you trust and deemed worthy of being a part of your family, your inner circle.
“I’m going to stop you right there Amber,” you said sternly, pulling your arm out of your sister’s grasp. Then you turned around at the sound of your best friend crying but soon realized that Sam had confided in her boyfriend, not you.
Amber follows your gaze and immediately becomes annoyed that you’ve become so caught up in your best friend once again so she tries her best to manipulate you once more. “What if she’s the kil-” Amber started to accuse her but you wouldn’t have it.
“Open your eyes Amber why the fuck would she hurt her little sister of all people? It’s not like she’s some unhinged fan of the Stab franchise!” you yelled at your sister but your argument didn’t go unnoticed because without looking back you knew Sam and her boyfriend were looking at you both so you just left the hospital to save face.
While you were leaving, Amber followed you with her eyes not nearly as satisfied as what she had done to you a few years prior before looking down the hall where she had witnessed your best friend being kissed by Richie briefly. But feeling jealous, Amber could only imagine what it would feel like to have his lips on her own before she watched Sam leave his side to go somewhere else for the moment. However, after Sam left, Amber noticed Richie look down the hallway, she was caught in his gaze and then noticed his lips moving, quietly asking if she was okay from afar. All Amber could do was nod tiredly before walking towards the elevators to go find you so she could make it home and hoping that by the morning she would find a way to get back at you for disrespecting her in front of Richie.

moth to a flame
pairing: amber freeman x reader, minor wes hicks x reader
summary: in which you get a new boyfriend, yet he's not who you really want
warnings: mentions of domestic violence, talks of homophobia, cheating
word count: 1000+
author's note: loosely based on 'moth to a flame' by swedish house mafia & the weeknd. writing mojo's back, babyyyy 🤠
“So,” Mindy started as she slammed her hands down on the lunch table, her eyes sparkling with an excitement that made Amber want to puke, “let’s talk about the happy, new couple!” She climbed into her seat and whipped her head around. “Coast is clear. Thoughts, everyone?”
Liv piped up first. “I think they’re adorable!”
“Yeah,” Chad agreed, grinning. “They’re cute together.”
“I’m just happy that Y/N is happy,” Tara said. She shrugged and added, as an afterthought, “Wes, too, I guess.”
Amber scoffed and crossed her arms, sitting up a little straighter when everyone looked at her. “Are you idiots blind? Wes is a pathetic excuse for a boyfriend.” She narrowed her eyes at her friends as disgust boiled beneath her skin. “He’s not nearly good enough for Y/N.”
Mindy rolled her eyes, sighing dramatically. “You don’t think anyone’s good enough for her, Amber. You said that about her last three boyfriends.”
Amber nodded. “Yeah, and I was right. They all ended up being abusive assholes.” Even just mentioning your ex-boyfriends left a bad taste in her mouth and ignited a murderous flame in her chest. Oh, what she’d give to teach all of them a lesson.
“Okay,” Liv began, a little hesitant, “but we know Wes, and he’s good for her! He’s the sweet ‘boy-next-door’ type.”
“Yeah,” Tara said. “He’d never hurt a hair on Y/N’s head. Not like…” She trailed off, and the silence of the group spoke for itself. Amber clenched her jaw at the thought. “Besides, she was so happy to tell us about the relationship! They both were.” She reached out and placed a hand on her best friend’s shoulder, squeezing lightly. “She’s in good hands, Amber.”
“Yeah, right,” Amber muttered. “If he so much as touches her, I’ll--”
“Who’re you threatening today, Ambs?” Your teasing voice interrupted the girl’s warning, and she looked up at you, smiling, before her face fell upon seeing Wes beside you, a grin pulling at his own lips. She swore she could feel bile rise in the back of her throat when she realized that the two of you were holding hands. “Someone good, I hope,” you said, chuckling.
You fell into the seat beside Mindy, greeting the rest of the table, and Wes was left to sit across from Amber, shifting uncomfortably beneath her stare.
“Yeah,” Amber said, smirking at the blonde boy. “Someone real good.”
* * *
“Jesus Christ!” Amber groaned as she reached for her phone, which had been ringing non-stop for minutes. “Can’t a girl just get some sleep?” With her eyes half-closed, she answered the call, barking out, “What?” and almost immediately regretting it when your teary voice echoed through the phone.
“Ambs,” you whispered.
She shot up, her eyes wide and worried, her heart pounding in her chest. “Y/N? Are you okay?”
“I--” You hesitated, and Amber could feel her stomach drop when you sniffled. “Can I come over? It’s my parents.”
Half of her wanted to snark, “Why don’t you call Wes?”, but the other half of her--the half she knew she’d listen to--just wanted to hold you in her arms and keep you safe.
“Okay,” she said after a moment. “Come over.”
When you hung up, telling her you’d be there in ten minutes, Tara’s voice started to ring through her head: she’s in good hands, Amber. A small, tiny, minuscule part of her that she’d never admit existed almost felt bad for the boy.
* * *
As soon as you arrived, you were crawling beneath Amber’s blankets and wrapping your arms around her waist, your face nuzzling into her neck as you inhaled her scent. She was holding you just as tightly, glad that your tears had subsided in the time it had taken for you to cross town.
“You okay, baby?” Amber asked, her voice loud in the otherwise silent room.
You hummed, shuffling even closer to her. “Better now,” you confessed.
“Do you want to talk about it?”
You sighed deeply. “They’re just fighting again. It’s whatever.”
Amber hated when you did that--when you’d brush off the troubles that were going on at home, when you’d brush off your own feelings. Still, there was a flicker of pride in her chest that you had called her rather than Wes.
The two of you settled into comfortable silence for a few minutes, but after a while, Amber could no longer let sleeping dogs lie, and she piped up.
“So, you and Wes.” Her face soured at the boy’s name, and she could feel you tense in her arms. “We should probably talk about that.”
“What do you want me to say?” you asked carefully.
“You like him?”
You sat up, and Amber immediately regretted saying anything at all, missing your warmth. “Can we not do this right now?”
She sat up, too, drawing her knees to her chest. “You called me; you were cuddling with me. I think we have to do this right now, Y/N,” she said, tilting her head. She scoffed when you stayed silent. “Of all the boys at Woodsboro, you had to choose one of our friends?”
“He’s safe, Amber. You saw what happened when I chose at random. You saw,” you said, your voice tight and shaky, and Amber glanced away, images of your bruised wrists flashing through her mind. “At least with Wes, I know he won’t hurt me.”
“Why do you have to choose a guy at all?” she asked. “We both know how you really feel, and you don’t feel anything for that boy.”
You hung your head. “I can’t come out,” you whispered. “You know that. You know what my parents would say, what they’d do.” You looked back up at her. “But you’re right: we both do know how I feel, what I feel.” You reached out, fingers skimming over her hand. “For you.”
Amber cursed the butterflies that stirred in her stomach at the touch and bit the inside of her cheek. “You know I already can’t stand Wes, and I really don’t care about his feelings, but if he finds out--”
“He won’t. They never do.”
“But if he does--”
You interrupted her with a kiss, soft and sweet and loving, and when you pulled away, your forehead pressed against hers, you whispered, “He won’t.”

tara carpenter x f!reader
warnings: grammatical errors, mention of suicides, abusive household and also scream 5+6 au bc why not?!
a/n; IM ALIVE !! I'm so busy, school is shit broo
it was sunday, it meant it was cleaning time. but, you were to focused on studying that you forgot to clean the house.
you checked the time, and you realized, that your father was coming home soon. you panicked, and quickly started cleaning your room.
your father was an abusive alcoholic, it was a suprise. an loving caring man turning into an abusive alcoholic, when your mother died.
he didn't bother going to therapy, instead he started drinking and started doing drugs. when he's tired, he takes his anger out on you, when he's in a bad mood he takes it out on you.
he poured out his anger always at you, you didn't know why. you would always be hiding in the closet, filled with bruises from him. trying to hold your tear's, it was always hard. you've never told anyone about the abusive and toxic household you were in.
you were a joyful person, filled with sunshine but personally, no one ever knew you that well. except for your girlfriend; Tara Carpenter.
you heard the door creaking, you weren't even halfway done cleaning with your room and you still had a few rooms to clean. you were scared, you didn't have a way out.
you decided to hide in the closet, where you always do. you were scared for dear god, you were scared what he will do to you. your tear's streaming down on your face.
you heard a scream, “Y/N!! How come you still didn't clean the house?!” it was filled with anger, your heart is beating fast, you are scared. sweating intensely.
hearing footsteps from the stairs, and through the hallway’s of your bedroom. you prayed to dear god, to not hurt you. “y/n, i know you’re in there.” he say's, opening the door of your bedroom.
you had no way out. you heard him investigating every area.
he opened the closet door, “there you are.” he says, grabbing you from your wrist, tightly. “dad stop please! I'm sorry, I was so carried away—” you didn't have time to speak, he punched you so hard on the face.
that your nose started bleeding, “you really think I'm gonna believe you? you lying son of a fuckin bitch.” you were down on your knees, crying.
The next day
it was a good Monday morning for tara. she was awoken by her sister, sam. she got up from her bed and started making it, then after that she check's her phone if she received a message from you, but sadly she didn't.
it was something off, she chat's you again, asking if you were okay.
· my baby ; hey, are you okay y/n? im worried sick, text me back as soon as you can. hope you're okay mylove! I love you
timeskip at school
“hey guys, have you seen y/n? she hasn't texted me back.” tara said, worried about you. “look's like an overprotective girlfriend is worried about her troublemaker girlfriend.” mindy jokes, tara didn't find her funny, and just glared at her.
“oh there’s y/n!" anika pointed, she ran after her. “she seem's off today, its just not me who thinks she's off today? right?” mindy stated, the others agreed with her. usually, you would hangout with the friend group but this day, you didn't.
you went straight to class, it was unusual for them. you saw anika running towards you, but you decided to walk more faster so she wouldn't catch you.
once you entered inner part of the school, you saw anika not chasing you anymore. you were glad. you had a long oversized hoodie, covering your body and bruises. you went straight to class with the oversized hoodie on you, even tho it was hot as fuck.
after first period, you went to second period. not even bothering to check up on your girlfriend. you were just not in the mood to talk to anyone today. you just wanted peace, and alone time with yourself.
not until second period started, you realized that you and anika were seatmates. you and anika are bestfriends, she worries about you alot.
you sat down to anika, avoiding eye contact with her. “hey y/n, why are you avoiding us?” anika asked, but you didn't answer. anika wasn't really comfortable with your silence, since you were always loud and energetic.
she kept asking you questions but you didn't answer once. second period ended and it was third, you continued to third period with talking to any of your friends or even anyone.
after third, it was lunch break. you didn't have the appetite to eat. so you skipped it, and hid at the rooftop, listening to music peacefully and doing your work.
“y/n didn't talk to me in 2nd period, I don't know why tho, I think something's off about her.” tara looked at anika, “you should go check up on your girlfriend, tar.” liv suggested, but even tara didn't know where you were.
“ill go check up on her at the end of classes.” mindy really thinks tara is a bad girlfriend.
more timeskip
it was time to go home. you didn't go home yet, you were at the rooftop, smoking. it was peaceful, and calming for you. no disturbance.
not until you heard the door open, you put out your cigarette as fast as you can. you saw tara, looking worried sick at you. “y/n, are you okay? you didn't talk to us for the whole day, tell me everything, I'm willing to listen y/n.”
she says, pulling the sleeves of yours “and why are you wearing a jacket it's so—" you quickly took your arm away from her. she saw what she saw, bruises, blood streaming down your arms.
she was in disbelief, “im so sorry tara, i didn't mean to freak you out. I know I'm a bad girlfriend, you can leave me because of my weirdness and my bruises and scars—" she hugged you tightly, “im not gonna leave you y/n. I love you, and that's what matters. can you tell me what happened? it's okay if you're not comfortable.”
you sighed. you needed to tell her the truth, to gain trust. and you did, she was in pure disbelief and shock. she comforted you, and made you more safer.
“i think i should go home, my dad will be mad at me.” you said, but tara didn't let you go. “stay with me for a few days, ill get you help.” those words from tara, was enough to make you tear up.
“dont cry now, baby. stay with me, you'll be more safer.” you didn't care anymore, you wanted to be free with tara.
once tara and you arrived at her house, you were greeted by sam. death staring you, “hey tara, who've you got there?” sam asked, “this is my girlfriend ive been telling you about.” you blushed at her words, she's been talking about you?
“by the way y/n, can you go upstairs. you know my room already.” tara said, she didn't tell sam that you've been sneaking inside their household. “why is there red stuff on her sleeves?” sam was curious. tara explained the whole situation to her.
sam felt bad for you, the two carpenter's will be doing their best getting you help.
after a conversation with sam, tara went up to her room. she saw you, laying down peacefully. “hey let's get you cleaned up, okay?” you nodded, and got up from the bed.
she guides you to her bathroom and sat you down on the sink, she took your hoodie off, and saw all the bruises you had. bruises everywhere, “more bruises down on your legs?” you nodded.
“can i take them off?” she asks for your permission, “go ahead.” she takes of your pants, slowly and lightly. she was shocked with all the bruises that you dad gaved.
“thats alot. let's start with your wrists.” she wiped off all the blood, until there was no more flowing. and rolls the comforting bandage around your arms.
working one by one on the bruises, she stayed up just to get you cleaned.
at the end of the day, it was the two of you lying in bed. “i love you so much, tara.” you said, burying your face onto her neck.
“i always love you more, my love. soon your dad will be in prison.” she reassure's you, and before going to sleep, she kissed you forehead lightly, and kissed you lips passionately.
“tara, what if attempted suicide one day?” you said, out of the blue. it was a suprise, “of course my life will be empty. i cannot live without you. i love you more than everything, if you have a problem, come talk to me okay?” you smiled at her.
she was tired already, “im going to sleep na. im so tired, mahal.”
“goodnight my beautiful, beautiful girlfriend! i love you.”
“goodnight tara, i love you too. sweet dreams.”
“thank you for taking care of me.” you mumbled, “your welcome.

Defending Amber Freeman!!
Hello, fellow "Scream" fans. I would like to take a moment to defend Ghostface #8, Amber Freeman because people in the fandom LOVE to shit on her. They're always finding a reason to say she was a terrible Ghostface (some go as far as saying the worst.) While she does have her flaws (they all do) she is far from the worst and she's actually quite a decent Ghostface, in my opinion.
So let's start at the beginning. Something that always irritates me in this fandom is when people call Amber stupid for using her own phone to make the Ghostface calls but it's actually so smart on many levels. First of all, she's not using her own phone. She actually cloned her own phone and here's how I know. When Ghostface calls Sam in the hospital it comes from Amber's phone, however, in the next scene after the attack we learn that Amber was at the sheriff's station being questioned. Even if she wasn't being questioned at that very moment she would have had to sneak away from Judy and her friends to make the call, causing suspicion. I feel like that's something Judy would have caught. Therefore, this had to be Richie making the call. So he was just using her phone, right? Not quite. In the same scene we see Judy checking out Amber's phone and hands it back to her. When would Richie have had the time to give it back to her? It's actually a lot better plan when you realize they actually cloned her phone to make it authentic. On top of all that...it works! Maybe not for the know it all viewers but from within the movie, no one suspects she actually made the calls herself. Besides, Roman does a similar thing with his voice changer and no one say a damn thing. When talking to Sarah he uses his own voice and we, as an audience, are suppose to believe in that moment it's a voice changer because there's no way they already revealed Ghostface's identity.
Next, let's talk about Dewey. People are mad that this tiny little girl could take him out but did you not see the epic fight scene where she very clearly could not overpower him? Even with all his injuries from the past movies and him just being old and tired he still overpowered her, a young and healthy energetic teenager. It wasn't until she played dead possum and attacked him while his guard was down that she could get a stab in.
And no, she did not lift him off the ground. Please pay attention to detail before you start crying about shit. She pulled the knife up and Dewey's body's first initial response was to go up on his toes with the knifes to try and prevent it from happening as much as possible. In fact, they both had to go on their tippy toes.
Another reason people love to hate on Amber is because her kills on Tara and Chad failed. Meanwhile Billy failed to kill Dewey, Randy and Gale. Nancy failed to kill Dewey. Roman failed to kill Mark. Charlie failed to kill Kirby. Richie failed to kill Mindy. Quinn failed to kill Gale and Mindy. Ethan and Quinn both failed to kill Chad. Wayne and Ethan both failed to kill Kirby. On top of all that, they all failed to kill Sidney, Sam and Tara in their respective movies. Amber letting a few kills slip is fine. She was still smart and a brutal attacker, especially when she knew she had a stronger opponent and needed to go for a fatal attack. In the end she killed the sheriff, ex-sheriff and a deputy.
"Amber was so obvious..." as if that's an excuse. You know who was the MOST obvious Ghostface killer to ever exsist? The very first who this whole damn fandom holds up on a pedestal: Billy Loomis. I mean, my Grandmother who can hardly comprehend the movies or simple basic things anymore knew it was him. Mickey was also super obvious. I've watched so many reaction videos and everyone susses Billy and Mickey so fast so please come up with a better excuse if you're going to trash Amber. I had the movie partially ruined for me (I looked away from the spoiler as fast as I could but I knew it was a young girl with long hair so there was few options of who it could be) so I can't really give my full opinion on how obvious she was but quite honestly I didn't see much evidence that led to her.
Just as a bonus: she has the most epic reveal (fight me.) Even if you suspected her you couldn't have suspected the reveal at that very moment. The way she abruptly pulled out the gun had me shook! "Welcome to act three" = iconic. As much as I love Jill if I see one person say how iconic her reveal was I'll lose it. It might have been shocking and unexpected it was her but her reveal was just her taking off her mask and saying "hello, Sidney. Surprised?" It was just a knock off of Mickey's reveal.
Now this is another that grinds my gears. When Amber faces off Sidney and Gale in the kitchen she cries, begs and pleads for her life. People take this for weakness and consider it another reason she's a terrible Ghostface because "she's the only one to do so." Here's my take on it: the first time Amber pleads for her life immediately after, she provokes Gale by claiming Dewey "died like a pussy." Now if she was truly scared and begging for her life, why would she fuck it up so quickly? She switched up SO fast. It was clearly a tactic to distract them long enough to figure out her next move and it worked. She tried it a second time but it obviously didn't work but I have no doubt in my mind that if it had she would have just attacked them again. She wasn't sorry and had no intentions of ever backing down. Meanwhile, the same people who complain about this are Stu fans and he cries like a little bitch when Sidney tells him she called the cops because his mommy and daddy are going to find out. 🥺 (I love Stu, by the way. I know that sounded aggressive but it's his toxic fans that really irritate me.)
On top of all that, she killed everyone in "Scream V." In my opinion, from the way I analyzed the film, she killed everyone and the only people Richie attacked were Sam in the hospital and Mindy in Amber's living room. You can view my first post to go more in depth, if you're interested.
At the end of the day, if you don't like her then whatever. That's fine. It's your opinion and it's probably not going to change but just say you don't like her and move on. Everything you hate on her for has been done by past Ghostfaces already so go hate on them. Amber was a great Ghostface and Mikey Madison did absolutely amazing in this role. Her going absolutely unhinged at the end is what won me over and made Amber my favorite Ghostface.

The Past Is The Past
Tara Carpenter x Fem!Reader
Summary: Tara was faced with her 3 ghostface, and this time got so seriously injured she was in a coma. When she wakes up, she has no memory of the past 3 years...including you, her girlfriend.
Notes: Imagine this as our gals scream 7...since Jenna apparently quit and left me fucking DYING
Warnings: Uh, injury, violence, blood, our boy ghostyface with knives. Coma and memory loss if thats even a warning. Swearing. Uhm. Shitty 7th grade writing.
This may become a multi-part story. Not sure. If we hit 250 notes maybe I'll make it a series.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Tara plopped down on the small couch, burnt out. She'd just been released from the hospital. She was home. At least, that's where she thinks she is. It didn't look much like the home she remembered.
Sam had taken her home, which was weird to begin with, because she hadn't seen Sam since they were kids.
She had a stab wound in her side. That too was weird. She had hundreds of scars littering her torso and one that seemingly went through her hand. That's a curious scar. She'll have to ask Sam about that one.
She knew she had lost her memory. The doctors had told her. Her last memory was from 2020. She has seen Sam's face. She'd been worried, definitely worried. But she looked almost..relieved? Like something had happened in the past 3 years that they all wanted to forget.
She had friends still. The same ones she'd had for years before. Mindy and Chad. They told her that Wes and Liv had moved away. They didn't mention Amber.
That was weird.
Amber is her best friend.
There's a new girl, too. Her name is Y/N. Tara has no memory of the girl, but weirdly enough, Y/N seemed the most hurt by Tara's memory loss. Maybe it was because they'd met during the lost time, and she was the only person that Tara didn't remember.
Y/N kept her distance from Tara, too. She never made eye-contact with her. Always stayed far away. Never even said her name out loud, always referring to her by nodding in her direction. They'd never had a one-on-one conversation, not in the many weeks she'd come to visit Tara.
Why was this girl, this girl Tara didn't even know, so weird around her?
She's quite pretty too, with her (Your hair color) hair, and those pretty (Color) eyes. She's a sweetheart, from what Tara's seen with her interactions with the others.
Maybe they had history. Bad history. The kind of history that makes people hate each other even after they apologize and make up. Maybe they were close, and she wasn't sure how to begin the relationship again.
Tara wasn't sure. And she wasn't about to ask, either. Everyone was so...touchy with the topic. They wouldn't even allow her to know where Wes and Liv had moved, or even their phone numbers. Amber's name was avoided like some sort of plague. Y/N might be here, solid and alive in front of her, but somehow, that seemed like an even more dangerous zone to travel into.
This whole memory loss thing was giving Tara a headache.
But she just had to know.
Who is Y/N?

The Reunion Tour Brings a Night of Uplift and Celebration to Raleigh
by Amber Hicks
On September 26th, the Lenovo Center in Raleigh became the epicenter of joy, worship, and musical mastery as The Reunion Tour made its highly anticipated stop. With a lineup that boasted gospel legends like Fred Hammond, Yolanda Adams, Marvin Sapp, The Clark Sisters, and special guest Kierra Sheard-Kelly, the night was a blend of nostalgia, inspiration, and dynamic praise.
Kierra Sheard-Kelly opened the evening with electrifying energy, showing why she’s a staple in today’s gospel scene. Her powerful vocals and commanding stage presence set the tone, especially during her rendition of "Something Has to Break," which resonated deeply with the crowd. She had the audience in worship from the start, paving the way for the legends that followed.
The night unfolded as a beautiful journey through the rich histories of each artist, with every act performing songs that have become the soundtrack to so many lives.
Throughout the night, these gospel titans didn’t just perform their own catalogues—they came together for several breathtaking collaborations. Kirk Franklin, the evening’s lively maestro, orchestrated these joint moments with his usual humor, charm, and infectious energy. Franklin’s own set was electric, filled with the high-energy, genre-blending sounds that have made him a revolutionary in gospel music. Hits like “Stomp” and “Revolution” had the crowd dancing and celebrating as if it was Sunday morning service.
One of the night’s standout moments was a powerful group rendition of “Something About the Name Jesus.” Each artist took turns adding their unique voice to the song, creating a heavenly wall of sound that filled every corner of the Lenovo Center. This performance perfectly captured the essence of the night: a collective tribute to the enduring power of gospel music and the unwavering faith that ties it all together.
Ultimately, The Reunion Tour in Raleigh was a masterclass in gospel music. The mutual respect and camaraderie between the artists was palpable, creating an atmosphere of celebration, reflection, and worship that the audience won’t soon forget. From the classic hits to the heartfelt collaborations, every moment was a testament to the genre’s timelessness and its power to uplift and inspire. Kirk Franklin and his gospel cohorts didn’t just give a concert—they led an unforgettable evening of praise that stirred both the heart and the soul.
Be sure to check out my exclusive photos from the night to see some of the most powerful moments from this incredible show.

Wes Hicks vexed Amber Freeman more than she cared to admit. Not because of his borderline concerning level of paranoia. Not because of his deep-seated motherly issues. Not because of his horridly box-dyed blonde hair. Not even because of his deep attachment to her friend, Tara Carpenter. No, her vexation toward Wes could be traced back to one thing and one thing only: you, Y/N L/N. As of late, Wes had grown close to you, too close. He trailed after you like a dog with a bone, happily taking any scrap of attention you threw his way. For a time, his antics had been annoying, nothing more. Eventually, though, you began to inadvertently entertain those antics, to entertain him under the belief that he treated you the same way he did the rest of your friend group. You seemingly did not notice that the only friend he walked to and from class was you. You did not notice how whenever he stole a hug, he lingered just a moment too long, soaking in your warmth and taking in your all too sweet smell through his nostrils. Amber noticed, though. She noticed it all, and it sparked an anger within her that she had not known herself capable of.
Because you were hers. You had always been hers. Her friend, her steadying force, her person. You were the first person she had met when her family moved to Woodsboro all those years ago. She had been out playing in her yard, messing around with her collection of Chucky dolls, when you had ridden up on your rickety old bike and offered her the brightest smile she had ever seen, a smile that had rivaled the sun in intensity. You had asked to play with her Tiffany doll, the bride of Chucky, and that alone had been enough for her to know in her bones that you two were well-suited. Most children your age had frowned upon the dolls, deeming them creepy, but not you. You adored them, treating them with as much care as Barbie dolls or action figures were treated.
From that day, you and Amber had been thick as thieves, being one half of the other, which was why she could not tolerate Wes trying to weasel his way between the two of you. How would she handle him? Well, a more sane person would have likely come off with a lie, would have spread gossip meant to sully his name and ruin your perception of him. You were so good, though, so forgiving, so mere gossip would not be enough. Perhaps that was why when Richie Kirsch proposed a dark, blood-bathed plan to recreate the 1990s Woodsboro killings, she agreed without hesitation or regret. If pushed for her motive, she would without a doubt chalk it up to her love of the Stab franchise. She knew it is not that simple, though, for when Richie proposed his list of victims, she wasted no time in adding Wes to the list. C'mon, Richie. It'll add shock value. He's the son of a legacy character, after all, she had pointed out, even though Judy Hicks could hardly be considered as such. She had, in Amber's opinion, contributed little, the same way that her son had. Richie had thought her important, though, for he had agreed and added him to the list of victims.
That was why now, Amber waited outside of the Hicks residence, donning the typical Ghostface costume. The black material of the robe felt hot against her skin, itchy, but the knife felt right in her hand, its hold so comfortable that it felt as though it was made for her. From the shadows of the porch, she waited, anticipation strumming wildly through her veins. Richie was on the phone now, no doubt, luring Judy back to the house. She could put up a fight, could try her best to preserve her son’s life force, but her efforts would be for naught; her son had sealed his own fate when he had tried to take you, to steal you from Amber. Did he really think that she would sit idly by and let it happen? No, it was not in her nature to do so. To take such a profound loss sitting down was weak, and she was not weak, not when it came to you.
When Judy pulled into the driveway and ran up to the front door, her face a storm of fear, Amber jumped out, emerging from the shadows like a harbinger of death. And oh, what a perfect harbinger she was, for she mercilessly stabbed Judy, delivering upon her one devastating slash after the other. It was a wonder that she had ever become the sheriff of Woodsboro, because she went down easy, so easy.
Her son went down even easier.
After slaying Judy, Amber left her lying there in a river of her own blood to be found. That was exactly what Wes did, for as if sensing something was amiss, he pulled open the front door of the house and was met by a most horrid sight: the lifeless, cut-up body of the woman who had given him life, who had cared for him when no one else had. Unbidden, a grief-stricken cry tore its way out of his throat as he threw the door closed, trying to prevent the killer from getting in. Little did he know that Amber was already in the house, watching him, waiting. He leant against the doorframe, wheezing from a mixture of pain and fear. “Oh, God. Oh, God,” became a litany, the only words he seemed capable of . . . until Amber came out, her knife poised, aiming for his neck. In an act of pure desperation, his hands flew out, catching hold of the knife before it could make contact with his neck. “Fuck you,” he gasped as they struggled, fighting for control of the knife. He was distressed, willing to do whatever it took to survive, but she – she was incensed, rage incarnate. Months of pent-up vexation and jealousy came out, giving her the strength to win, to gain back control. This saw the knife plunging into his neck, immediately stealing away his breath and drawing out his scarlet blood. “No, fuck you,” she snapped, her tones cold as ice. The voice, it was her own, not that of Ghostface. “Now, die like the pussy you are.”
And he did . . . It was oh so satisfying to Amber.
Wes’ death seemed to hit you hard, to cause great pain to overcome you, which was why Amber stayed loyally by your side, doing everything she could to ensure that you were okay, that her actions did not break you. Little did she know that you took notice whenever she snuck away, believing herself to be discreet. You knew what she had done, but could not bring yourself to care all that much. Wes held no true place in your heart, after all, not the way that she did. And, perhaps, deep down, you knew that his murder, unlike the others, had been personal . . .
i HC amber as a child's play stan. idk why, it just makes sense, so here's a bonus fact: one year, for halloween, y/n and amber wear matching chucky and tiffany costumes. you can decide who wears which.
ALSO i know richie killed wes, but i changed it for the sake of this one-shot.
sign-off template.

Summary: You and Sam have been friends since elementary school going through the throws of being preteens just enjoying life and trying to figure out what you both wanted to do with your lives. But one night in Sam’s life changes the course of your own in high school leaving a rift in your relationship with Sam and your little sister. (Fic Requested by @spidey2-9 )
Warnings: Some Cussing, Mention of blood, Mention of Drugs, Suggestive Themes
Part 1 Part 2 Part 3 (Coming Soon)
Five years ago in Woodboro, California
You remember the wind in your hair and how your cheeks would hurt from smiling at something Sam said. It was during your drive over to this small little diner you girls would frequent in Woodsboro. You girls would even go as far as to bring Kirby along for the ride but at the time she was hanging out with Jill so it was just you and Sam on a winter afternoon. But without Kirby being there to help distract you from where your mind would wander, your heart kept pounding against your ribcage as you parked your car in front of the diner before heading inside with your best friend. You remember you both would look at each other, you looking at Sam’s onyx brown eyes while she looked at your e/c ones, it felt odd to you, foreign to feel this nervous around your best friend while bundled up in your baggy yellow sweater and orange & black checkered sherpa jacket. You weren’t sure what to make of these feelings because you were just a teenager, you didn’t think about looking up these feelings you harbored for her.
“You have been quiet and staring at me for the past two minutes Freeman..” Sam started. “What are you thinking about?” she asked you from across the table with a slightly tired smile, pulling your attention away from the feeling.
“Um” you started, thinking about what to say to her “Nothing much..I guess I was thinking about what I was planning to do after high school and..” you said with a smile before thinking again as Sam was going to open her mouth. “And what great things you were going to do with your life” you admitted to your best friend because you had high hopes for Sam to do the right thing with her life.
For a moment your words left Sam speechless because even though she's been doing drugs and living a life of crime she is always amazed by how you have faith in her to be greater than she was the day, week, and month before. Sam smiles for a minute at you before scoffing at what you had said. “Speak for yourself Y/n” she replies, causing your smile to drop for a second as a waiter comes by with your food and drinks.
“Thank you,” you said to the waiter before looking back at Sam. “Am I wrong for thinking that Sam?” You asked her as you lowered your head to take a bite out of your chocolate chip pancake. “I think people forget that everyone has a pace they walk at so those few people who say ‘Back in my day while going through my high school career I knew exactly what I wanted to pursue after I got out’ are not always right,” you said in a funny old person voice causing Sam to laugh.
“Not with that voice,” Sam said laughing at your old person impression as you smiled. “But I appreciate that you have faith in my ability to be better,” Sam said with a smile before digging into the breakfast you picked for her. However, her smile left her face for a moment as she covered her mouth with a napkin, cleaning herself up. She couldn't help but replay what you had said to her. Because Sam knows that for her to do great things in her life such as get cleaned and leave the life of crime. That would require her to leave Woodsboro. It was something Sam's been meaning to do for a while ever since she found out who she was, the realization that Mr. Carpenter wasn’t her real father and the traumatizing experience that followed after. Information she found in the attic where some things were meant to be forgotten. It left her afraid and voiceless, she couldn't tell you nor Kirby about what’s been really going on with her in fear that maybe you both would view her differently. At this point, she knows going home isn’t an option for her. “This food is really good. You picked a good dish for me to order” Sam compliments your taste on the new dish you picked out for her to try.
“Thanks, I’m learning that I’m an adventurous eater,” you say back with a smile as you pick up the straws for you and Sam. You break the casing that once protected the straws before carefully placing them separately in both of your drinks with a smile. Without you noticing, Sam admires your face and how you're smiling so brightly in front of her, it’s contagious. But it also hurts her heart. Because Sam realizes that right now she has to burn you and everything about you into her memory. Your voice. Your laugh. Your Smile. Your eyes. Your personality.
“That’s good. Maybe one day you can hang out at my place and I can make you something” Sam said to you with a bright smile and you smiled just as brightly at her with a nod before you both bought dessert and coffee after.
However, when later came that you had to drive Sam home, you and Sam wouldn’t stop talking the entire drive back. Talking about everything and nothing like you both weren’t sure you would ever see each other ever again. Until you arrived at her house and Sam gave you a quick side hug before getting out of your car. It was unlike her so you put your car in park before turning it off to join Sam on the sidewalk. “You know Sammy, I’m looking forward to eating any meals you make in the future,” you tell your best friend as you stand side by side with Sam while looking at her childhood home together.
Then you hear Sam take a deep breath “I look forward to seeing the faces you make” she replied before turning to you to give you a proper hug. Her arms wrapped around your torso and pulled you closer into her body as she hid her face in your shoulder. You slowly start to notice that her hug was long which surprised you because you know that Sam is known for only giving hugs like this to her little sister while she gave her friends relatively short lived hugs.
“Oooh Sam” you whispered, you wrapped your arms around Sam as you gave her a controlled bear hug that Sam loves so much while she tightened her arms around you. Her hug left you quiet as you comfortably propped your chin on her shoulder getting a whiff of her perfume on her jacket as you felt Sam move her head. The skin of her cheek touched the skin of your neck like she was nuzzling you while you suddenly felt emotional. Your chest started to feel heavy while your eyes began to water causing you to hug your best friend tightly while also trying to keep it together so when Sam pulled away you started wiping your face.
“Y/n” Sam whispers your name. “Why are you crying?” she asked you with concern, you shook your head not knowing why before wiping the tears off your face as you took a step back in shame but Sam wouldn’t have that as she stepped forward trying not to cry herself as she brought you in for another hug. “Sssh you’ll see me again soon,” she said lying to you while your body shook in her embrace. You nodded into her shoulder and it prompted Sam to kiss your cheek because the last thing she wanted to do was make you cry before she left Woodsboro in secret.
But that was five years ago. Five long years that left you wondering if you could have changed her mind had you known she was going to leave Tara and you behind. Over time you slowly started to blame yourself for her leaving because you felt like maybe you had pushed her too far to change. Because deep down you knew that something was going on with your best friend, Sam would never look like she was tired so inside you knew she had to leave whatever toxic environment she was in. You just didn’t know it was going to be a few days after Tara’s birthday. But knowing that didn’t make the pain go away and it didn’t make the struggles you were going through in Woodsboro any easier. It just made you quieter, angry and closed off. Regardless of how you felt about the matter, in her absence, you took care of Tara like she was your sister, however, nothing could have prepared you for the horrors that befell the Carpenter household years later.
Five years later,
You find yourself sitting on a couch in Tara’s hospital room wearing your pajamas with a duffle bag full of spare clothes for Tara as well as yourself along with your phone charger. You find yourself listening to the environment around you as you plug your phone charger into the wall behind the couch. The sounds you can hear in the empty hospital are Tara’s vitals and her snores from across the room. “Who would do this to you Tara?” you whisper to the little Carpenter knowing she was asleep from the pain while her mom and older sister were doing god knows what. The whole ordeal keeps you up as your eyes scan the room trying to find answers in seemingly nothing, eventually, you get up from the couch to survey the hallway for any threats before your brain leads your eyes to your cell phone. The first thought that comes across your brain is to make a group chat that consists of your friends Mindy, Chad, Wes, and your little sister Amber. You wanted to make sure that they all knew why their best friend was not coming to school this week.
You texted while pacing in the small room that you and Tara occupied before you lowered your phone for a second when a thought crossed your mind. ‘I should let Sam know what happened to her sister’ you thought to yourself as you pulled your phone up to go to your contacts to find Sam’s phone number but when you went to text her your fingers froze. You slowly sat down on the arm of the couch wondering if Sam would even text you back because over the years you've sent her happy birthday messages to celebrate her existence. But at the same time you also wanted to know if she was okay but not once did she ever read your messages making you eventually give up. You turn your head to look over at Tara for comfort as you take a deep breath before looking at your phone hoping on some miracle she would text you back especially if it's an emergency but when you did finally text Sam something came up in your messages.
“Oh go fuck yourself,” you said aloud getting up from the couch before covering your mouth. You remember where you were. You quickly look over at Tara hoping you didn’t wake her up as relief slowly washes over you before making the gesture to throw your phone at the wall without actually doing it. You were mad and insulted that Sam would block you when Tara needed her the most. It eventually left you in tears because you felt like you weren't equipped to handle this type of situation, not on your own, with Tara being almost murdered by someone in the middle of the night. You wondered who would want to kill Tara and if they would come back to finish the job. The thought of the killer somehow entering the hospital kept you up as you sat back down on the couch putting your phone down at one end of the couch while you sat at the other end, distancing yourself. Then you began dragging your hands down your face in an attempt to calm down while you kept your eye on the only entrance to the room for a little while.
When the sun eventually rose high in the sky you were still awake just sitting on the couch. Still watching the entrance to the room hoping a nurse or a doctor or a familiar face would come walking in and not the killer because you may have changed physically but as far as you know you're no wrestler, maybe aiming to be a powerlifter sure, or (pick your beautiful body) but nothing unrealistic. However, whenever you would use the bathroom in the room you would make sure to check if there was anyone behind the shower curtain before using the toilet. But you also left the bathroom door open just in case you needed to give the killer e coli poisoning if you really had to fight him. Thankfully, no one entered the room before and after you were done using the bathroom because you didn’t want to resort to an unusual way of taking someone out. However, Tara was still asleep and you were still wearing blood stained clothes from the night before when you had rushed into the Carpenter home to get to Tara. The events from the previous night replaying in your head. You remember barreling through the front door seeing the carnage that was left behind by Tara’s attacker and the blood trail that led to the kitchen where you found her. You remember getting a blanket from the living room to practically wrap her up in, so you can get her into your car because the police in town were taking too fucking long. Regardless of what you had witnessed you weren’t comfortable turning your back for a second to change your clothes so when the time finally struck six, you felt your phone vibrate once, twice, and now three times letting you know that you were receiving a text message from the other side of the couch. You were so tired that you had to drag yourself across the furniture like a dog dragging their ass across the floor to get to your phone before you opened it.
Hours later when the hospital is bustling with life you find yourself trying to fight sleep and the need to eat something because once again you weren’t comfortable leaving Tara’s side when she’s hurt like this. You were practically her support human and guard dog so when Tara woke up she turned her head towards you.
“What are you still doing here?” she asked you with a hoarse voice, wondering why you were still at the hospital with her before her eyes gravitated down to your pajamas.
“What? A girl can’t stay by your side for the night?” you replied to Tara with a tired look trying not to slur your words and keep your eyes focused on her.
“Is that..blood on your pajamas?” Tara asked you with a horrified look on her face and at this point, you could care less about what you look like right now.
“What else would it be Tar-a?” you slurred with a tired smile before you both looked over at the door to the room when it opened causing you to quickly get up despite how tired you were, grabbing the rail at the end of her bed to steady yourself. You both notice Mindy, your little sister Amber, Wes, and Chad walk into the room with different emotions like relief, happiness, concern, and shock. “I am so glad that I don’t have to fight anyone right now…” you say feeling miserable when your sister says something to you.
“You look like shit Y/n,” Amber said seriously to you along with a sour look on her face.
“Why is that the first thing that comes out of your mouth Amber?” Mindy inquired, the concerned expression leaving her face before she replaced it with a serious one as she looked over at Amber because she hated how your little sister was rude to you.
“Yeah, well, Mindy, I feel like shit” you replied in response to what your little sister and Mindy said. Because you felt like death while watching Wes and Chad enter the room before sitting on the couch again as Mindy took residence next to you while your little sister sat next to Tara on the hospital bed.
“Oh geez Y/n. You look like you need some sleep” you hear Wes say to you as he walks in quickly looking you over to make sure you aren’t bleeding before looking at Tara.
“Yeah and a shower,” Chad says to you after closing the door behind him. “Maybe you should shower in the bathroom while we hang out with Tara. I’ll go get a few towels for you.” Chad says before heading out of the room just as you were going to open your mouth but instead, it was replaced by a heavy sigh.
“Chad’s right Y/n,” Mindy says aloud while turning her head to look at you while making herself more comfortable on the couch next to you. “We’re here now so you can go take care of yourself after Chad comes back with a few towels,” she says, leaving you no room to say no to her making Wes, Tara, and Amber look over at you and for a moment you feel vulnerable under the eyes of the kids you used to babysit with Sam.
Mindy could tell that her words had reached you because you had slowly turned your head to look at her. She can also tell that behind your eyes you were thinking of rejecting her brother’s idea of you taking care of yourself while they look after Tara. She knows you’ve been through a lot over the years and she just wants what's best for you. Thankfully Mindy hears you take a deep breath. “Fine,” you said softly just as Chad walked into the room with a few towels to hand to you, Wes watching as you reached for your duffle bag before standing up taking the towels from Chad, and retreating into the bathroom in the room.
“I’ll go get food from the food court for Y/n I’m sure she hasn’t eaten in a while so I’ll be right back,” Wes says hoping to find some protein for you to eat while letting Chad and Mindy know where he was going before leaving the room. Wes wanted to make sure you had food to eat because growing up he’s seen how you would get irritable in front of him before Sam came to everyone’s rescue by giving you eggs or a sandwich she bought from the store.
“Why is Wes getting Y/n food? My older sister has legs she can get it herself after she takes a shower” Amber says with irritation as she throws daggers at the bathroom door with her eyes causing Chad and Mindy to look at each other.
“Leave Y/n alone” Tara spoke up tiredly not always agreeing with her complaints about you before hearing her mother’s ringtone. “Amber, can you get my phone off the table?” Tara asked your sister and Amber nodded before getting off the bed to retrieve Tara her phone.
“Here's your phone,” Amber said in a calm voice handing Tara her phone while she sat back down on the bed next to her.
An hour later.
You open the door to the bathroom with fresh new clothes on and feel a little more awake while you look at the bloodied clothes and towels in one hand while in your other hand the duffle bag you brought into the bathroom with you. “Guys I’ll be right back I just have to put these clothes and towels in a hazard disposal bin somewhere in the hosp-” you announced before looking up to lock eyes with a familiar pair of onyx brown orbs.
“Y/n?” Sam said with surprise as she laid her eyes on you after hugging Wes. She couldn’t believe how much you’d changed in five years like how your face filled in with the rest of your body, how different your hair looked, how your eyes looked kinder than the last day she saw them, and your lips..she had to shake her head. After she watched you take a step back to put down your duffle bag next to the couch in the room and for a second she was hoping you would say something to her before collecting herself, taking a deep breath. “These are the kids I used to babysit and that woman right there is Y/n. My best friend who also helped raise them with me” she says introducing you guys to her boyfriend before looking over at your little sister “And Amber. Hey!” Sam said awkwardly to her knowing Amber didn’t like her before her boyfriend introduced himself.
“Hi, I-I’m Richie.” Richie says to your little sister as he stumbled through his words with a ‘you look familiar’ and a slight ‘Awe’ in his eye which you found weird because you weren’t sure if the look meant that he's seen your sister before or that she just looked like another girl he might have dated.
Whatever it was, you didn't like it so you walked over to stand next to Amber near Tara’s bed. Your sudden presence makes Amber step an inch away as you try to intimidate Richie with your whole being.
“Where’s mom?” Sam asked Tara with concern, wondering where she was before looking around the room and then out the window to the hallway.
“She’s stuck at a conference in London” Tara replied to Sam with a heavy sigh, which you and Sam noticed before she continued “She called me earlier.”
“Yeah, for all of ten minutes,” Amber said in a slightly aggravated tone making you look over at her before you and Sam looked at each other like you were having a conversation of your own.
“Look, I think Tara has had enough excitement for one day guys and she looks tired. Maybe we should give her some space to relax for the time being” you say aloud as you watch everyone slowly file out of the room including Richie. Then you turn around almost tripping over yourself before kneeling near the couch to get your phone charger out of the wall. Afterwards, you were planning to leave the hospital for a few hours to run errands knowing Tara is safe with her older sister not realizing you're being watched.
The Carpenter sisters watch as you slowly get up from retrieving your phone charger. Your steady actions prompted Tara to quietly tap her older sister's hand. “Yes, Tara?” Sam replied as she turned her head to look at her “What's up?”
“You should talk to her” she replied to Sam knowing you've been struggling with a few things in your life like your mental health and the relationship with your own family. “I think after you left Woodboro she hasn't been the same” It seems to Tara that you've been cagey around her and her childhood friends even though you're allowed to confide in them. Then her eyes shifted from Sam to you watching as you tiredly made your way to the door when Sam grabbed your wrist.
The sudden grab causes you to stop walking just before the door to the room. “Are you planning to stay around after you dispose of your clothes?” Sam asked as she held your wrist with a soft but firm grip, looking up at you.
Her question makes you mad because you've been there for Tara for the past five years, it didn't make sense for her to ask you that question as you turn to reply. “What do you thi-” you started, feeling strong unpleasant emotions come up when Tara cleared her throat, the sound making you and Sam look over at her. Then you focus on Tara’s eyes noticing the steel look in them while Sam turns her head to look at you which gives the little Carpenter leeway to mouth to you to ‘relax’ so you take a deep breath before replying to her older sister. “Not exactly…I have to run some errands, maybe drop some of my kids off before coming back here to visit Tara and sleeping in my truck” you say with a shrug examining the room before your eyes settle on Sam’s face.
“Okay..well try not to stray too far,” Sam said to you as she looked down at her hand on your wrist when she noticed the light and dark scars on your arm as she rubbed her thumb across the pulse point of your wrist. “I…might need you,” she said to you with a look of worry like there might be a possibility you will turn your back on her but all she heard from you was a hum as she slowly lets go of your wrist so you can continue on your way before you remember to ask Tara a question.
“Hey Tara” you call her name causing Tara and Sam to look at you “Do you have your extra inhaler? Or do you need me to stop…by your house to get it?” you asked pausing when it came to her home because you still can’t get the images out of your head.
“Yeah, I’ll be fine” she replied to you with a tight smile which is unusual for you to see but you know she needs alone time with Sam so you nodded in understanding before heading out of the room. As you close the door behind you to give Sam and Tara room to catch up, you turn around to look at them through the glass window on the door observing how Sam and Tara interacted with each other after five years before looking over at your little sister and wondering if she would give you at least the benefit of the doubt of being close again.
“What are you looking at?” your little sister asked, as she watched you walk down the hallway to put your bloody clothes in a disposal bin near the waiting area.
“Not at you. But I was thinking” you replied as you thought of a few ways to hang out with Amber before slowly smiling at her. “Wanna stop by Woodsboro’s Finest Diner on the way home to get shakes and fries? It’ll be my treat” you say trying to make your little sister take the bait to hang out with you like old times.
“Are you serious?” Amber replied, looking at you with a calm exterior but also in disbelief, crossing her arms. “My friend gets attacked in the middle of the night and your response to that is to smile and ask me about getting food?” she questioned you with irritation, flipping your invitation to hang out into a distraction that meant you had no regard for Tara’s well being. “Are you mentally ill? Oh, that's right you are.”
You look at your little sister silently, your heart aching while you feel yourself grow angry from her response because all you wanted to do was hang out and have that same beautiful sibling bond that Sam and Tara have. A bond that you once had with Amber. You're not sure where her distaste and hate for you came from as you heard Richie to your left trying to stifle a laugh at your situation. “Wait wait, that sounds like a fabulous idea Y/n!” you heard Mindy yell from the waiting area as you turned your head to see her, Chad, and Wes smiling.
“I agree that sounds like a tasteful idea” Chad added before standing up.
“I third that,” Wes says, shaking his head with a smile on his face. The three of them bring a light smile back to your face and a simmered attitude making you appreciate how they get excited by the smallest things like getting shakes and fries with you, causing you to nod.
“Alright then, I’ll go get the car,” you said to them before looking at your little sister. “Walk with me to the car Amber,” you told her, giving Amber no room to get out as she huffed loudly while following you to the entrance of the hospital. Amber watches as you open the door and how you let her walk past you but not before catching you turning your head. Because while she walked past you, you turned your head to lock eyes with Richie narrowing your eyes at him leaving him shivering.
After you round up the kids you left the hospital parking lot to get shakes and fries while Wes stored the food he got for you from the food court into your small cooler. He wanted to make sure you had something to eat later before following you into Woodsboro’s Finest Diner with his friends. That way they could help you bring their orders to the car without dropping anything on the way back while your little sister waited for you in the truck playing games on her phone before she received a message from someone on Reddit.
Later that afternoon you drop the twins off at their house then you drop Wes at his home before his mom can send a search party and then finally you drive back home with Amber. When you two got home you made sure to prepare dinner as soon as you walked in considering your parents are away on a cruise which means you can cook hearty homemade meals for your little sister. After dinner is made you scoop your portion of dinner into a bowl and then head upstairs so you can relax in your bedroom.“Hey Amber I'm going to take a nap but I’ll be down in an hour” you say to your little sister and Amber nods her head.
“Yeah sure” she replied, turning her head to watch you go up the stairs before turning to her phone. Then Amber's eyes gravitated to a water bottle you own and your cooler and she smiled as she got up from her chair. She heads over to the counter to retrieve your water bottle and fill it with water before reaching into a drawer. For a moment Amber stopped her hand and stared at the drawer like she was trying to remember what she was getting before turning her palm upward having her forefinger and middle finger reach up into the ceiling of the drawer with a bigger smile. Because when Amber slowly pulled her fingers out from the kitchen drawer she pulled out a tiny bag with drugs in it. Her smile grew wider as she poured the contents from the tiny bag into your water bottle before hearing your alarm go off so she quickly stuffed your water bottle into your cooler before sitting back down and stuffing the tiny bag in her pocket.
You quickly walked out of your bedroom with your belongings and then ran down the stairs to the kitchen to put your bowl in the sink. Afterward, you opened the cabinet to get Tupperware to store the food that you made earlier for Sam and placed it into your cooler where you noticed that your water bottle was missing from the drying rack. Looking around the drying rack you ask your little sister “Hey Amber?”
You called her name. “What is it Y/n?” She answered, her eyes never leaving her phone.
“Have you seen my water bottle?” You asked as you kept looking around before opening the cabinet full of cups your parents gathered over time. “I swear it was next to the drying rack when we got home,” you said after taking a deep breath before looking at your watch for the time.
Amber sighed before looking up at you “Check your cooler” she said to you next as she looked up to watch you go into your cooler to find your water bottle and you realize that it’s full causing you to smile at Amber. “Don’t say anything because you're just going to make things weird” she voiced as you put your bottle back into the cooler.
“I’m happy you still have a heart Amber thanks for looking out for me,” you say to your little sister showing her gratitude as you walk to the entrance to the house to get your keys.
“And there it is. That's the weirdness I was just talking about. What a loser” Amber says under breath as she follows behind you and you turn around to ask her a question at the door.
“Did you say something?” you asked Amber hoping you didn’t miss a ‘You’re welcome’ from her and all she did was shake her head as she slowly pushed you out the front door. “Okay see you later!” you yell as your sister closes the door on your face causing you to take a deep breath before walking to your car to drive back to the hospital. But while walking to your car you hear a bit of rustling to your left in the front yard causing you to stop walking for a moment as you wait and listen before looking around not feeling up to greeting whatever it may be like in those horror movies you would watch with Tara. However, when you decided to move from your spot you jumped “Holy shit!” you yelled at the sound of a black cat running out of the bush and onto your path making you sigh with relief as you slowly calmed down. “What the fuck are you doing out here Buddy,” you asked the cat, causing the neighborhood black cat named Buddy to look at you for a moment before he went on his way as you started walking to your truck and opening it to put your cooler down on the passenger seat. Then you hop into the driver's side and close the door before putting your seat belt on while checking around your car making sure no person or animal gets hurt as you put your key into the ignition and turn it on before driving away.
While driving back to the hospital you slowly unzip the cooler that you have with you and at a red light you pick up the water bottle your little sister filled up and drank from it. At first, you didn’t feel anything while driving, you just felt normal as you tapped the steering wheel while listening to the radio and stopping at red lights and stop signs like you were supposed to, however, closer to the hospital you started feeling sleepy. You shrug it off, thinking maybe you didn’t get enough sleep because you lost sleep the night before and when you went home you only slept for an hour but thankfully you pulled into the parking lot of Woodsboro’s Community Hospital. Slowly but surely you pulled your truck into a parking spot closer to the street that was clear of cars before turning it off. Then you reach for the cooler in the passenger seat before stepping out of your car but in the process of getting out you end up missing the running board and fall to the floor almost hitting your face on the way down had you not braced yourself for impact. Although you kept your face intact you groaned from pain in your body watching as some of your belongings scattered across the asphalt road from the impact before you slowly looked up at the hospital seeing it spin in front of you before you passed out.

This fic was requested by a fan named @spidey2-9 (Here is their ask). Initially, I was going to make a short story like you asked because I was doing research on how to make one. But the jokes were on me because my brain was like let's make a mini-series so I hope you and everyone who decides to read this enjoy!
