What is your opinion on the "Genderbent reimagining"?

I actually haven’t gotten around to reading the new version yet that Stephenie has wrote for the 10th anniversary. It’s currently next on line in my bookshelf to be read once I finish my book at the moment. Anyways, from what I’ve heard of it - I kinda love the idea. I myself, have always wondered what would’ve happened in Bella and Edward’s life if he had’ve actually turned her earlier at their prom which (spoilers apparently happens in the book? or so it’s been spoiled for me?). I think it’s quite an interesting twist on how the series originally played out. You don’t usually see authors taking such a twist on stories as popular as Twilight like that, so it was a bit of a risky move but I think it’ll play off well once I’ve read it and can get a better understanding. I’d be able to say more if I had’ve read it yet, but genuinely - I do really love the idea. I doubt she’ll follow on Beau and Edythe’s story for what it’d be like in New Moon, Eclipse and Breaking Dawn but I’d be totally for it if Stephenie did decide to write it it!
