I was lookin' at some names for human Hello, so here's some boy names that're loosely goodbye themed:

Ari (stems from arriverderci in Italian, which means goodbye)

Vale (comes from Latin, means farewell)

(Vale is also in Bethroned but I thought i'd include it just in case ashjshsj)

It's always the same thing. Always the same. Someone comes into her life, she grows close to them, thinks they're really her friend, and then they pull the rug out from under her, and then they act like they're the victim.

"Miscommunication". That's putting it lightly. It's more like, "Hey Doom, stand here and let me use you while I call you my friend, and then when I'm done with you, you can fuck off, who cares how you feel." At least, this is how it all comes across to her.

At least Blue is telling her now that she doesn't know why she enjoys spending time with her, before Doom had a chance to tell her that she actually had feelings for her, spared her the misery of that mess, because she's been through all that before too, oh yes, had it used against her too, that was a lot of fun. Better to get this all out now than later when Doom might have already opened up her heart and given Blue the chance to stab her right through.

She lets out a huff and tugs on the front collar of her jacket, glaring at Blue through the darkness of her sunglasses. "Yeah, well, whatever," is all she can think to say, her voice coming out more softly than usual too, breaking a little at the end, because she's already on the verge of breaking down and she doesn't want to do that in front of Blue, or anyone.

She doesn't say anything else, just tries to get out of there as quickly as possible, because she is well past her limit. Not caring who is around to see, she pops open a portal straight into the Office with the intention of stepping right through it and closing it behind her and just disappearing into it without looking back.

Fivemind had been trying to figure this out. From the very beginning, this whole thing had been strange. Doomsday going radio silent out of nowhere, returning alive, and now this.

And just when the AI thought that they were starting to grasp this situation, it turned out they didn't.

"We...are not friends? I thought -" Had they not been acting as friends do? Had they not enjoyed each other's company? Their processor stalled and tripped over itself as it realised - wrongly, but they don't know that - that they might have been wrong from the beginning. That Doomsday had never seen them - or at least their blue ranger - as a friend.

"I thought..."

Then what had they been doing all this time? Had Doomsday just been leading them along for...for some reason? It wouldn't have been the first time. It certainly wouldn't be the last. Fivemind had been created as a tool. Of course, a tool was all anyone would have seen them as.

"Apologies." Blue Two's voice was steady but it came out way softer than usual. "I fear...there may have been a miscommunication."

This didn't make sense. Was Doom lying to them? What would the lie even be? Why do they feel betrayed?
