As we step into 2024, the world of home decor continues to evolve, bringing fresh, innovative fabric trends that can transform any space. From sustainable materials to bold patterns, the fabrics you choose can make a significant impact on the look and feel of your home. Whether you're planning a complete renovation or simply looking to update a few elements, here are the top 10 fabric trends to refresh your home decor this year.
1. Sustainable Fabrics
Sustainability is no longer a niche interest; it's a mainstream priority. Fabrics made from organic and recycled materials are gaining immense popularity. Organic cotton, linen, hemp, and recycled polyester are leading the way. These materials not only reduce your carbon footprint but also offer durability and a natural, earthy aesthetic. Incorporating sustainable fabrics into your home decor is a step towards an eco-friendlier lifestyle.
Tip: Look for certifications like GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) or OEKO-TEXÂŽ to ensure the fabrics meet high environmental and social standards.
2. Bold Prints and Patterns
2024 is all about making a statement with your fabric choices. Bold prints and patterns, including geometric designs, florals, and abstract motifs, are in vogue. These patterns can add a dynamic and lively touch to any room, making your home feel more vibrant and personalized.
Tip: Mix and match different patterns to create a unique and eclectic look. For example, pair a bold floral cushion with a geometric patterned rug.
3. Velvet
Velvet continues to be a favorite for adding a touch of luxury and sophistication to home decor. Its rich texture and sheen make it perfect for upholstery, cushions, and curtains. Available in a wide range of colors, from deep jewel tones to soft pastels, velvet can suit various decor styles, from traditional to modern.
Tip: Use velvet cushions or throws to add a luxurious feel to your living room or bedroom without overwhelming the space.
4. Earthy Tones
Earthy tones are dominating the color palette in 2024. Fabrics in shades of terracotta, olive green, mustard yellow, and warm browns bring a sense of calm and grounding to your home. These colors work well in both minimalist and bohemian decor styles, providing versatility and timeless appeal.
Tip: Combine earthy tones with natural materials like wood and stone for a cohesive and harmonious look.
5. Textured Fabrics
Texture plays a crucial role in creating depth and interest in home decor. Fabrics with intricate weaves, embroidery, or raised patterns are gaining popularity. Textured fabrics add a tactile element to your space, making it more inviting and cozier.
Tip: Incorporate textured fabrics through cushions, throws, and rugs to add layers of interest without changing the overall color scheme of your room.

6. Metallic Accents
Metallic fabrics are making a comeback, adding a touch of glamour and modernity to home interiors. Fabrics with metallic threads or finishes can be used in small doses to create a striking impact. Think metallic cushions, throws, or even upholstered furniture for a bit of sparkle.
Tip: Balance metallic accents with matte or neutral fabrics to avoid an overly flashy look.
7. Botanical Prints
Nature-inspired designs continue to thrive, with botanical prints leading the trend. Fabrics featuring leaves, flowers, and other natural elements bring the outdoors in, creating a fresh and tranquil atmosphere. These prints are versatile and can be incorporated into various decor styles, from rustic to contemporary.
Tip: Use botanical prints on curtains or upholstery to make a bold statement, or opt for smaller items like cushions and table runners for a subtler touch.
8. Layered Fabrics
Layering different fabrics is a trend that adds depth and richness to your home decor. Combining various textures, colors, and patterns can create a visually intriguing and comfortable space. Layered fabrics are particularly effective in living rooms and bedrooms, where they can enhance the cozy and inviting feel.
Tip: Layer a mix of cushions, throws, and rugs in complementary colors and patterns to achieve a well-coordinated yet dynamic look.
9. Artisanal and Handcrafted Fabrics
There is a growing appreciation for artisanal and handcrafted fabrics that tell a story. Fabrics created using traditional techniques such as block printing, hand weaving, and embroidery add a unique and personal touch to home decor. These pieces often showcase exceptional craftsmanship and cultural heritage.
Tip: Incorporate handcrafted fabrics as focal points in your decor, such as a handwoven rug or an embroidered wall hanging.
10. Multifunctional Fabrics
With the rise of multifunctional spaces in homes, fabrics that offer versatility and durability are in high demand. Stain-resistant, easy-to-clean, and outdoor-friendly fabrics are becoming essential for busy households. These fabrics allow you to maintain a stylish home without compromising on practicality.
Tip: Use multifunctional fabrics for high-traffic areas like living rooms, dining rooms, and outdoor spaces to ensure longevity and ease of maintenance.

âDoes this dress make me look fat?â Polly emerges from the dressing room in a stunning floral dress that looks so good on her it even makes the sales assistantâs jaw fall to the ground. It was the seventh dress she had tried on that day. Not that Leni was counting.Â
âOh youâve got to be fucking kidding me Pauline!â Tess quips, her face scrunched in a frustrated scowl. She had chosen her Midsummer dress almost immediately and somehow managed to buy three more. All of this was happening while Leni was desperately trying to find the words to nicely let Polly know that the dress she picked out for her was something only her aunt Edna would wear.Â
âStop yelling at me! You have no idea how hard it is to have this body!â Polly says, her face the same color as the dress: burning red.Â
âOh yeah - it must be sooo hard to have big tits and a tiny waist.âÂ
They start arguing - something they have been doing a lot more often in the past couple of days, making Leni try hard to recall whether this has always been a part of their friendship or something that started happening only very recently.Â
Upset, Polly storms back inside the dressing room; closing the curtain so aggressively she almost rips it off its hinges.Â
âSheâs such a fucking drama queen.â With a frustrated sigh Tess plops on one of the sofas, her phone almost immediately in her hand, âPlease tell me you decided on a dress. Cause if I have to spend one more minute in this stupid fucking shop I will literally kill myself.âÂ
âThat wonât be necessary.â
âThank fucking god. Which one is it?â Tess raises herself on her elbows, trying to get a better look at the mess of hangers in Leniâs arms. âDonât tell me itâs the leopard one.â
Itâs the leopard one.Â
âNo, itâs this white one.âÂ
âGood choice. Very classy.â
In the background Tess drones on and on and about how there are people that show up at Midsummers with a complete disregard for the event and no - sheâs not saying that there is a strict dress code but a true Kook always knows how to dress up for these kinds of things. Then she starts telling Leni about this one year where this fake Kook girl showed up in the wildest zebra print and how everyone laughed at how tacky she looked.Â
âI mean it was totally expected. She used to live in The Cut before her family literally won the lotto and got a house in Figure Eight. Poor girl was so desperate to fit in, like you shouldâve seen her Leni-â Her pompous rant is suddenly cut short by an ear piercing scream.Â
Polly.
âThe zipper is stuck! I am so fat that the zipper got stuck!â She sobs, her face a mess of runny mascara and tears. âI am literally going to die in this ugly fucking dress!â As if on cue, Tess pushes herself inside the dressing room, leaving Leni standing alone. Totally fine - she didnât want to participate in that mess anyways.Â
While out of sight, she sneakily goes to buy her dress and just as sheâs about to check whether Tess and Polly need her help, her phone buzzes in her hand.
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/111357a7d5ebd3ddead17a804c5e34df/9aa8f5dc9a7e35b3-42/s1280x1920/e5f3a536e0a6db88a56d018e8f1e765cfc95e2f2.jpg)
Leniâs heart skips a beat.Â
Swallowing, she stares at the message.
âMiss?â The sales assistant calls out for her but sheâs too lost for words in order to answer. âIf you get-âÂ
âI-Iâll be right back. Donât let that dress go anywhere!âÂ
With her phone tightly clutched in her hand, Leni steps outside the shop - the bright July sun almost blinding her. Squinty eyed, she inspects her surroundings, hoping to see a familiar figure but the only thing standing before her is a single blue car. And thatâs when she sees him.Â
Rafe.Â
The driverâs window starts rolling down at the same time she begins crossing the street towards it. Heâs in a suit again; his face half covered by dark rimmed sunglasses and ugh - Leni absolutely hates the way her breath catches the second she gets even the tiniest glimpse of him.Â
âWhat are you stalking me now?â She practically shouts at him.Â
âHello Elena.âÂ
âI asked you a question.â
âSânot my fault your friend posts everything on social media.âÂ
What? Leni furrows her brows, but the realization hits her the second the thought crosses her mind. Of course, Polly has him in her close friends.Â
âIs that supposed to be an excuse?â
âNot at all.âÂ
âRafe.â
âYes?â
âI will kick you.âÂ
The second the words leave her mouth, Rafe takes off his sunglasses - the dark purple bruise and stitches are covering nearly half of his face. âI know.â He says, the corners of his lips perked in a small smile and for the second time that day, he makes Leniâs heart skip a beat. âHave dinner with me.âÂ
Correction, three times.Â
âNo.âÂ
Just then, his smile grows bigger; practically spreading across that frustratingly handsome face of his and suddenly, Leniâs completely lost count of the times heâs made her heart forget to beat. Â
âIâm not asking you out, Elena. I just want to talk. Like normal people.âÂ
Leni swallows.Â
Her text.Â
Rafe is staring at her. Gaze determinedly focused on her own; those dark wild ocean blue eyes causing all kinds of floods in a very particular part of her body and oh - itâs such a terrible idea. Talking to him, looking at him⌠even breathing the same air as Rafe Cameron is the worst possible thing she could do and yetâŚÂ
She wants to.Â
âHow about this,â He says when itâs become a little too obvious that no words will be coming out of Leni's mouth anytime soon. âIâll send you the location of the restaurant and⌠if you feel like coming⌠Iâll be there. Waiting.â
She wants to run away.Â
She wants to tear herself from the car and run as fast as her feet allow her to.Â
Leave the island, leave the states and go someplace where the memory of him will no longer exist.Â
âOkay.â Quiet as a whisper, the word practically slips out of Leniâs lips.Â
âOkay.âÂ
âNow leave me alone, please!âÂ
Back in the shop, Pollyâs face is puffy from all the unnecessary crying, but at least sheâs smiling and finally out of that goddamn dress.Â
âWhere were you? I wanted you to see and tell me if this pink one squishes my boobs.â
âOh, Iâm sorry I had to take a call.â Leni replies with an apologetic smile and completely ignores just how easy lying has been coming to her as of late. Polly nods and after what feels like ages, goes to buy the things that Tess has somehow convinced her she doesnât look fat in.Â
âI know youâre lying.â Tess says, the tone in her voice dripping in accusation, the moment Polly is just out of earshot. âI saw you. You were with Rafe.â Their eyes meet and Leni does her best to seem as unphased as possible.Â
âSo?â
âWhy?â
âThatâs none of your business.âÂ
âIâm not asking why you were talking to him. I wanna know why youâre lying.â
Fuck.
Leni always seems to forget just how smart Tess is.Â
âAre you sleeping with him?âÂ
The thought makes her heart skip a beat for the millionth time that day and once the idea weaves itself inside her mind, thatâs all Leni can suddenly think about. She doesnât care about giving her friend a proper answer or making herself look good when the image of Rafe ravaging her is consuming her like some brain eating bacteria.Â
Tess scoffs, her lips spread into a bitter smile, âOf course. Of course you are. I mean - at this point who isnât?âÂ
âIâm not. The reason why I was talking to him and lying to you about it - is private.â Sheâs about to spin some bullshit story about how sheâs known his family for years; how at this point she too is practically a Cameron, but Polly comes rushing in - bags of brand new clothes gripped in hand - and Tessâ interrogation ends. Â
After what feels like ages, the three of them leave Bellefleur, but when Tess and Polly start heading back towards the docks, Leni doesnât join them. Her excuse involves Sarah and the Pogues and she hates lying to them - especially after the way Tess just confronted her about it, but what else was she supposed to say?Â
The truth?Â
They say their goodbyes and she ignores the all knowing glare Tess gives her after their short lived hug. Tomorrow sheâll probably wake up to all kinds of rumors, but does it really matter? Itâs not like people know who she really is around the island and those who do, donât seem to be too interested in the life sheâs leading.Â
Although, they might start if Tess decides to never let this go.Â
The location Rafe sent her belongs to a country club not too far from the shopping strip she wasted an entire day with Tess and Polly and although the trek was barely a ten minute walk, Leniâs body is sprinkled with drops of sweat; her hair practically glued to the back of her neck and her flimsy top and shorts far too beachy for something as fancy as this.
Wide eyed, she marvels at the high ceilings and marble floors; the people, their crisp designer clothes, fake tans and pearly smiles and if she didnât feel out of place before, she sure as hell feels like it now. Slightly embarrassed, Leni drags her beat up Converse and massive Bellefleur shopping bag towards the snotty-faced host.Â
âBathroom is for members only.â He says pompously and her entire face flushes red. She canât seem to remember the last time sheâs been embarrassed like this.Â
She also canât seem to come up with any words either, as she stands there frozen - from both the icey words and A/C - and perhaps this is a sign. Not exactly the thing sheâs been asking for, but certainly a warning: she shouldnât be here. She should be at the docks, boarding the ferry back to Kildare Island and texting JJ to be waiting for her so they can spend the rest of the day together.Â
âSâthere a problem?â A familiar voice breaks her awkward silence and there it is again - that silly heart of hers and its tendency to skip beats whenever he is around. His gaze flickers towards her every now and then; never sticking for too long, but hers does. Leni allows her eyes to linger on his lithe body; the beige suit and his buzzed head; the undone buttons of his shirt; the gold ring on his finger and the way heâs towering over both her and the host.Â
Fuck.Â
She always forgets how tall he is.Â
âMr. Cameron,â The hostâs face flushes red; redder than Leniâs was mere seconds ago and she wants to gloat, but sheâs far too flustered in order to do so. âThis is⌠do not worry, Iâve got it all under control. This young lady will leave immediately.âÂ
âThis young lady is my date.â Rafe says, the words barely sneaking past his gritted teeth and suddenly Leni canât tell whoâs befuddlement is bigger: hers or the hostâs.Â
âOh. Right. I see⌠Unfortunately, the clubâs rules-â
âFor fuckâs sake. Is it her clothes that bother you?â He doesnât wait for an answer; just shrugs off his suit jacket and hands it to Leni. âHere. Put this on.â She doesnât wait for Rafe to tell her twice. In a matter of seconds, the jacket finds itself on her body along with his hand on the small of her back. âCome on sweetheart.âÂ
Sweetheart?Â
Rafe guides her towards a table in the back while she repeats the word in her mind until it completely loses its meaning. Silently, she watches him pull the chair out for her and over the years sheâs considered him to be a lot of things, but never a gentleman. Sure, he could be doing it out of politeness, but then again - when has Rafe Cameron ever been polite?Â
âWhatchu got there?â Brows raised, he jerks his chin towards the shopping bag on the empty chair beside Leni.Â
âMy dress for Midsummers.âÂ
âYouâre going.âÂ
âYeah. Are you?âÂ
Rafe shrugs, âDunno.â He reaches for the menu. She canât help, but mimic him. âAny word from Rose?âÂ
Leniâs heart drops.Â
âNo.â
He clears his throat. âLook, Iâm sure Sarahâs told you by now, but I want you to hear it from me too.â She watches him lean back in his seat; the menu now discarded and those blue eyes stubbornly focused on her face. âIâm hiring a private investigator.âÂ
Her jaw falls slack, âI⌠I didnât know that.âÂ
âNo?â
âNo.â
âHmph. Thought you two shared everything.âÂ
âClearly, we donât.â Leni raises her brows, silently gesturing to this little get-together of theirs and he just knows. She sees it in the way he instantly pulls himself towards her; the corners of his lips perking up into a smile and for a second she contemplates doing the same. Her brain is curious to know how it feels to have her face inches away from his own, but that doesnât happen.Â
It will never happen.Â
The waiter comes to take their orders and despite the gnawing hole in her stomach, Leni doesnât have an appetite. She lost it the moment she caught a whiff of Rafeâs intoxicating cologne. Itâs the same he wore on the night of the incident.Â
âElena?â Her name sounds different rolling down his tongue and no - it has nothing to do with the fact that for some stubborn reason heâs decided to be the only one to call her that. She glances over at him; those haunting blue eyes gazing over at her with certain unreadable curiosity and what the fuck is she supposed to order? She barely even paid attention to the menu in her hands, little alone spent time looking at it.Â
âIâll just have the Caesar salad.â She mutters, âOh, and a Coke. And fries.âÂ
âIâll have a Coke too. Thanks.â His gaze never leaves her. âThink youâll have room for dessert?â Â
âDepends. Will we be slurping or snorting the Coke?âÂ
Rafe snorts, âSlurping. I donât do drugs anymore.âÂ
âI know.â
âOr drink.â
âSo Iâve heard.â
âIâm sober.âÂ
âI get it Rafe - my joke wasnât funny.âÂ
âNo. But you are.âÂ
Now itâs Leniâs turn to scoff.Â
When she finally looks back at him and sees his lips pulled into a wide, almost toothy smile something inside her chest cracks open.Â
Fuck.
She likes him.Â
Heâs the worst man alive and she has a maddening crush on him.Â
âSo, is Rose the only reason why you wanted me here?â She tries to keep her voice as steady as possible, but her heart is running laps between her ribs and the tips of her fingers are prickling at an alarming pace and when did it start? When did she stop thinking rationally and start liking him?Â
Has she always liked him?Â
The cat Leni. Think about the fucking cat.Â
âNo. But if you have any interesting things to share - Iâm all ears.â There he is again: moving closer and she feels his knees bump into hers; the soft material of his pants rub against her bruised and scratched skin; skin that wouldâve been smooth as a babyâs butt if he hadnât chased her down like the prey he clearly saw her as. âNothing? Okay-âÂ
âI KNOW ABOUT THE CAT.â She says loudly. Too loudly. Loudly enough for people from other tables to turn and look at them.Â
Leni wants the ground to open and swallow her whole.Â
âIâm sorry?â Rafe says, a puzzled look on his face.Â
âThe cat. I know about it.â
âI donât-â But he does. She sees it in the way his eyebrows shoot up and his lips begin forming into a bitter, tight smile. âAh, the cat.â Rafe nods. âOf course you know about the cat. Did Rose also happen to tell you why I cut his tail off?â
Leni blinks, âTail?â
âYeah.â
âRafe⌠Did you cut Mr. Buttersmithâs tail before drowning him?â Her entire body shakes as the question croaks out of her throat. She wants to look away; grab her things and disappear as far away as possible but none of her limbs seem to be functioning properly. All thatâs left to do is sit there and watch as a dark shadow falls over Rafeâs face.Â
âNo.â She finds relief in the fact that her voice isnât the only one shaking right now, but that doesnât mean her nerves are at ease. With a lump in her throat, Leni watches him chew on his thumb; his gaze no longer focused on her, but on the empty table. When he finally looks at her, the haunted look in his eyes is back. âMr. Buttersmith⌠I⌠Sarah had found this dog - a, a mutt and of course dad let her keep it because Sarah always got whatever the fuck she wanted⌠Anyways, one day, Mr. Buttersmith got out in the yard. I dunno how he did it, but he was outside and the dog started chasing him and while running away Mr. Buttersmith got his tail stuck in the fence. He couldnât get out. He was panicking and I was scared that if I didnât help him, Sarahâs stupid dog would kill him, so-âÂ
âYou cut his tail off?âÂ
âI thought I was helping him.âÂ
She canât tear her gaze away from Rafe.Â
âWas⌠what happened to him?â
âDad helped me take him to the vet. They patched him up. He lived for five more years.âÂ
Leni swallows the lump in her throat. âBut Rose saidâŚâ
âYeah. She says a lot of things to keep people away from me. God knows what kind of stories sheâs told WheezieâŚâÂ
A part of her doesnât want to believe him. Her loyalty lies with Rose; always has and always will, but something deep inside Leni refuses to take her Godmotherâs side. Disappearing without a trace; leaving her with only a cryptic note and a hotel room booked for the summer⌠She canât help but think thereâs a reason for it, but her brain is far too exhausted in order to make sense of it all.
The waiter brings their food just then - itâs like heâs got both the best and worst timing in the world.Â
âWhat are you gonna do when you find her?â After what feels like ages, Leni speaks again; her question rough against her throat.Â
Chewing, Rafe shrugs. âTake her to court. Get custody of my sister.âÂ
âYou think theyâll let you do that?â
âI donât see why not.â
âWell, you did recently get jumped by your ex dealer to whom you allegedly still owe money toâŚâ Smiling, he opens his mouth to speak, but she doesnât let him, âThereâs also the drug charge, three DUIs, that time you spent a night in prison for attacking a cop, rumors about a drowned cat-âÂ
âKeeping tabs on all my crimesâŚElena⌠youâre like, obsessed with me.â
âOh, fuck off.â
+++
Rafe pays for dinner and as theyâre heading out, once again takes the liberty to place his hand on the small of her back. The only difference this time, his touch never truly reaches her, just hovers. Once outside, he lights up a cigarette, his gaze lingering on her face curiously.Â
âHowâre you heading home?â He asks, blowing smoke in the empty space next to him.Â
âWith you, obviously.âÂ
He smiles and for someone she once upon a time thought was completely incapable of such a thing, Rafe sure as hell likes to do it a lot lately.Â
Without another word, they move towards the docks. The silence between them is strangely pleasant. With the corner of her eye Leni absorbs the way he looks besides her - shirt sleeves rolled up to his elbows; hands in pockets; cigarette dangling from lips.Â
She doesnât remember him being a smoker.Â
âYou need help getting in?â He asks, the question barely audible against the sound of crashing waves. Leni looks at him and no - she doesnât, but parts of her body are desperate to feel his touch again so she nods; gaze hidden behind her lashes. The calloused skin of Rafeâs hand feels electric against her own as he slowly guides her onto the boat.Â
The places where he touched her are aflame. With her breath caught inside her throat, Leni watches him climb with a single, sleek movement and she wonders - why hasnât she been this attracted to him before? Perhaps sheâs always been but the fear Rose instilled in her as a child prevented Leni from properly reeling in it.Â
âIâm just realizing,â She says after several moments of comfortable silence, âIâve never been on your boat before.âÂ
âThatâs âcause you never asked.âÂ
âWell, you scared me, remember?âÂ
 Their eyes meet.Â
Rafeâs brows slump downwards; his lips suddenly twisted in a frown, âDo I still do that?âÂ
âNo.â
He doesnât.Â
What he does to her is much worse than fear.Â
But Leni can never admit that to him, little alone to herself.Â
She is still wearing his suit jacket when they arrive back to the island. This time, Rafe doesnât ask whether she needs help; he just takes her hand and slowly guides her back to land. She watches his hand twitch - fingers rapidly pulling in and out of a fist and she wonders whether his skin sizzles the same way hers does in that very moment.Â
âCome, Iâll drive you home.â Rafe jerks his head towards his Range Rover, but Leni stands her ground; her feet practically glued on the pavement. âWhat?â He asks when he notices she hasnât budged at all and in two long strides, manifests himself in front of her. âWhatâs wrong?â
Silently, Leni takes the suit jacket off of her and hands it back to him. âIâm gonna walk.âÂ
âElena.âÂ
His gaze feels heavy, but she doesnât dare meet it. If she does, every promise she has made to herself will be broken and she simply cannot allow that to happen. Rafe still mustnât know where she is staying.Â
âPlease. Youâve done enough.â Finally, she looks at him and heâs so handsome it physically hurts her. His suit jacket hovers in the small distance between them and she nudges it a little, reminding him to just take it off her fucking hands but Rafe shakes his head.Â
âKeep it.â
âNo.â
âItâs cold.â
âIâll manage.âÂ
Rafe sighs, his hand frustratingly running over his buzzed head, âStay here.â She hears him say in a rough, almost demanding voice and Leni really doesnât like the feeling it creates between her legs. She tries looking away; staring at everything but his broad shoulders and long strides, but itâs all her stupid brain can focus on.Â
When he returns, thereâs a teal colored material bunched up in his fist. âHere.â He hands it to her, his voice still carrying that same amount of roughness and Leni doesnât wait to be told twice. She exchanges the suit jacket for the other piece of clothing and this one is so big, it almost swallows her whole.Â
Just like what Rafe's gaze is doing right now.
âHappy?â She barks at him.Â
âVery.âÂ
âGood. Cause Iâm not promising on giving it back.âÂ
âThatâs okay.â He smiles. âI like it better on you anyways.â

Lucanis Dellamorte mini quilts
The more I learned about the characters, the harder it became to keep ideas from overflowing. Here's what I made for Lucanis Dellamorte based on
He wears black, purple, and a little big of blue.
He's a Crow.
Game developers have described him as romantic.
Sooooo I decided two mini quilts would be best.
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/6dd5d552fa7b775b289a476fea534cf1/8f31015f4ea2d52d-28/s540x810/c90d57d0e5ce4769732f1b3f6789a6c425bab347.jpg)
This one is the largest, 17.5x18 inches, and I opted for a floral border because of him being romantic. All the fabric is cotton, even though the black looks really shiny. The fabric used for the crow sparkles. This quilt has a hanging sleeve on the back, for a curtain rod or something similar.
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/4621cd40437119085e0040211a95b81b/8f31015f4ea2d52d-ca/s540x810/3bed75f559e327cf80228c9b99127562d35a2491.jpg)
The second one is 16.5x16.5 inches, with the colors reversed. I didn't have enough of the floral print for the binding, so I chose one with a softer look and a little big of blue.
And now I await a buyer or two so I can buy a game console and play DATV. I the meantime, I'll be making two miniquilts for Emmerich and Manfred.

Prompt: A/B/O TW: Kidnapping (I was going to use it for that originally but shhh) A/B/O, forced pregnancy threat, death of a loved one
Her hand grew colder with each passing moment.Â
Scarlett knew she needed to get up, to move, to leave the damned house but she couldn't bring herself to let go. Silent tears rolled down her cheeks, dripping down onto the floral print duvet her grandmother had owned for as long as Scarlett could remember. Very little in the house had changed over the past seventeen years- eighteen. She realized as the red digital numbers on the old clock next to the bed changed over from 11:59 to 12:00. It was Midnight. She was eighteen.Â
She jumped, finally letting go of her grandmother's hand at the sound of the pounding on the door.Â
"Scarlett." A man's voice called out from the other side of the door. She peeked her head out of Grandmother's room, he was so loud, it was as if he'd already busted through the door but no- it was still in place. The floral curtains- a different floral pattern from the bedspread, were in place even. She couldn't see him through the little window.Â
'BAM BAM BAM' The pounding resumed and that spurred her into action. Scarlett ran across the hall to her room, grabbing her school backpack from the floor, she dumped it upside down, a mess of textbooks and papers falling out. Number two pencils bounced away, rolling under the bed and under my dresser. She shook it twice before deciding it was good enough and grabbed a handful of stuff from the dresser drawers, not even paying attention to what. She zipped the bag, grabbing her old red hoodie from the desk chair, and ran out-
"Fuck." Scarlett cursed, turning and running back. She slid down to the floor, nearly crawling under the bed to try and find it. She patted around, her hand wrapping around something, she pulled it out with a cry of happiness- only to realize it wasn't what she wanted, it was the stupid little plastic vibrator Scarlett had shoplifted from the mall in the next town over on a dare. She threw it out of the way and reached again, this time she grabbed it in seconds. The photo album. The young woman clutched it to her chest and rolled to get up. That was when she heard the unmistakable sound of wood splintering as they finally got the front door open. She ran to the window, forcing it open and Scarlett tried to climb out.Â
Hands gripped at her ankles, too-sharp nails digging into her skin. She screamed and kicked out, connecting with a wrist. Someone cursed and that was one less set of hands pulling her back. She tossed the album out the window to properly free up her hands but something heavy came down on the back of her head- everything went black.Â
The girl slumped, her body going limp. Cody was nursing his wrist- which she'd stomped. Helena removed her nails from Scarlett's ankle, little marks marring the smooth tan skin. Alaric looked down at the unmoving form of his woman.Â
"Take her to the car." He ordered, picking up the backpack she'd dropped in her frenzy to get out of the room. Helena and Cody did just that, carrying her out as if she weighed nothing. "And one of you grab the book she threw out there." He snapped. He walked around the little bedroom, he'd never been in this house before. He hadn't been allowed. It was so- incredibly normal. Above the desk was a corkboard with a class schedule and pictures of her and her grandmother. It seemed rather sparse. He smirked, he could see the little holes where other pictures had once been tacked. He'd done a great job of taking care of her little friends. of making her a social pariah until he was so sure that she was his and only his.
He turned and his eyes zeroed in on a little bit of teal on the floor. He walked over, stooping down to pick it up. It was a small vibrator. The kind they sold outside of sex shops. One could buy them at the mall. He smirked and tucked it into his pocket.Â
"I told you, Scarlett." He picked up the pillow from the bed, holding it up and inhaling deeply. "You. Are. Mine."
-------------------
Scarlett had no idea how long she had been out. But when she woke up, it wasn't gentle. She gasped awake, fighting out of instinct, to no avail. She was no longer being held by people. No, she was in a basement, or, she supposed, a dungeon. She was chained to the wall, something she'd find more disturbing if she weren't aware of the few ways to subdue a werewolf.Â
"Alaric!" She screamed. "Alaric James you dirty rotten son of a bitch, get your flea-bitten ass in here now!" She demanded. There was a chuckle, as he did just that, opening the door and walking in. He closed it behind him, a tray of food in his hands. It wasn't until then that Scarlett realized how hungry she was, her stomach growling.Â
"You rang?" He asked, walking over. He put the tray down on the floor near her, pushing it over with his foot.Â
It was obviously heated-up frozen food. Something that looked like Salisbury steak.Â
"You won't get away with this, Alaric. People will miss me, they're going to come looking for me." She warned.Â
"And why would they do that?" He asked. "You're eighteen, you're allowed to run away, especially in times of grief."
Grandmother. The realization hit her like a train, a hole in her chest opening up, threatening to swallow her whole. She forced herself to put that in a box, she could mourn later. Right now, she had to deal with this.Â
"They know I wouldn't-"
"Who is they?' He mocked, coming over and squatting down next to her. "Your friends? They hate you. You have no family anymore. And when your neighbors come home to find the letter on your computer and see the missing backpack. They'll know what happened." He smirked.Â
"Letter?"Â
"Letter, explaining that you just couldn't take the pain. That you've left, you might be back someday but for now, you just need space." He stood upright and grabbed the backpack from the floor-
"They'll see the broken door-"
"Already fixed it. You know you pack terribly." he unzipped it. "Fifteen pairs of underwear, two tank tops, a pair of shorts?" He quirked an eyebrow. "that's it."
"I was in a rush, some asshole was trying to break down my fucking door." Scarlett snapped. "And no one is going to believe that I would just run. That I would- oh god... is she still there just-"
"I left a tip, with the sheriff," Alaric answered the question she couldn't finish.Â
"Why are you doing this?" Scarlett asked, her voice small.
"I told you, Little Wolf. You. Are. Mine. You've always been mine and you will always be mine. I couldn't touch you for the past eighteen years but now-"
"You still can't." Scarlett snarled.Â
"There's that fire I love so much. But you will give me what I want."
"And what, exactly, is that?"
"Your body." He answered. "Your soul. Your heart may or may not follow I don't know quite frankly I do not fucking care, but sooner, rather than later, you're going to give it to me."
"The hell I will." Scarlett scoffed.Â
"You will- because Little Wolf. Today was your eighteenth birthday. And when a wolf comes of age, they go through... changes."
"Changes? If this is the puberty talk, Alaric, save it, I've been through all that."
"I'm sure, but this is different." He leaned against the wall, looking her up and down slowly, making her painfully aware of what she was wearing. She'd been in pajama pants and a tank top when she'd tried to run. She had the hoodie on over it now- she wasn't sure if she had done that or if they had. "You'll be going into heat soon- really any time now."
"Heat?" Scarlett blanched.Â
"Yes that's when-"
"I know what it is." She snapped. "I grew up on a farm." She reminded him. He held his hands up.Â
"Then you know what you're going to need to soothe the ache."
"Nothing aches."Â
"Yet." He pointed to a small fridge on one side of the room. "That's full of water, I will keep it stocked. Bathroom-" He pointed to the other side of the cell, there was a small bathroom, and in another corner was a cot. The look on her face must have said it all. "I don't want you to suffer- well... not that much. Also when you give in, I don't want to fuck someone who's filthy and too weak to function." He shrugged.Â
"That isn't going to happen." She rolled her eyes. He simply smirked and walked out, she heard the sound of a heavy lock sliding into place. She kicked the food away and stood. The chains did provide enough slack for her to get to the bathroom and the fridge, but she couldn't quite reach the cot.Â
"Asshole." She shouted at the door. She didn't know if he was close enough to hear it but it made her feel better.Â
Left alone in the room she began to panic- what if he was right? What if no one came to find her? She swallowed hard and looked at the discarded food.Â
"Fuck." She sat up, picked up her plastic fork, and started to eat. He wanted her strong. fine, she'd fight her way out then.Â
Day 1
"Alaric!" He couldn't hear her until he was right at the door. There was a camera in the room, one that only he had access to, but he hadn't been watching that, he'd been picking up her next meal, and carrying it down to the reinforced basement. There were two cells down there. One was for new wolves, wolves who couldn't be trusted out in the woods yet, the other was for the women when they went into heat if they were unmated. That was where Scarlett was kept
He unlocked the door and walked in, closing the door behind him.Â
Scarlett glared at him from the floor. Yes, he knew her chains didn't reach the bed, that was on purpose. There was an empty tray kicked across the room and three empty bottles of water.Â
"Good girl." He smirked. If glaring harder was possible, he knew that was what she'd be doing.Â
That made him incredibly happy. He didn't want a broken shell of a mate. He wanted her fire, her passion, that was what bored him about Rose, Scarlett's mother. She had been broken by her mate, nothing but a submissive wolf. Alaric wanted his woman to submit, of course, but he wanted to see the flames in her eyes while doing so.Â
"Don't call me that." She ordered. "Also- I know what you're doing." He quirked an eyebrow. "You're turning up the heat to try and sweat me out. It's not going to work, Alaric." His second eyebrow joined the first.Â
"Is that so?" He asked. He brought over the tray of food, putting it down next to her. He picked up the old one as well as the empty bottles.Â
"Yes. That is so." She rolled her eyes. He could see it, the flush to her skin, a slight sheen of sweat and he could smell it, the traces of heat.Â
"I'll remember that." He promised, smirking and turning around, going back upstairs.Â
Cody was sprawled out on the couch, flipping TV channels. Helena was in the kitchen, serving up food for everyone else. Alaric walked over to the thermostat on the wall and tapped the screen a few times, the basement was at the same temperature as the rest of the house, he turned it down a few degrees.Â
"How's it going?" Cody asked, glancing back.Â
"All according to plan."
Day 2
Scarlett was pretty sure she could feel every nerve in her body. And they were all overheating. She had taken her hoodie off- as best she could with the chains still around her wrists. the neckline of her tank top was dark with sweat. She hadn't slept since being thrown down here. she could feel herself losing her grip on reality.Â
There wasn't a clock in the room. She had no idea what time it was, she didn't know for sure how long she had been there. She had a bottle of water in her hands, she'd drank so much more water today than she had before. She was desperate for the cold relief.Â
"It's not going to help." She hadn't heard Alaric open the door, but she didn't need to, the moment he stepped in, she could feel it- the heat burning her body from the inside out turned up to 20. She squirmed, angry about the feeling of dampness between her legs. She knew he could smell it- she could smell it. "There is only one thing that can help relieve it."
"Fuck you." She snapped.Â
"Exactly that." He grinned. He had a box of water, which he took to the fridge, refilling it.Â
"You know that's not what I meant." She tipped her head back, chugging the rest of the cold water. "I just need-"
"Here." He walked over and squatted down, plucking something out of his pocket. This may help. He dropped it on her lap and it took her a moment to recognize what it was. The vibrator, the stolen vibrator.Â
"You're such an asshole." She picked it up and tossed it over to the side.Â
"So you've said." He smirked. "I can fix this for you, Little Wolf." He offered. "Say the word and I'll make it all go away."
"Don't touch me." She ordered. His smirk turned to a grin and he stood.Â
"Whatever you say." He held his hands up in surrender and gathered the empty bottles, taking them out of the room, and locking the door behind him.Â
Day 5
Scarlett was pretty sure this was how she was going to die, she was going to melt into a disgusting puddle on the floor in this dungeon. She was sweating- she kept drinking water to help with the burning- every one of her nerves felt like they were on fire, and that meant more sweating. Finally, she decided, she had to do something. She couldn't keep going on like this. Every touch to her skin felt like a hot poker that shot electricity straight down to her pussy.Â
She had just picked up the little teal vibrator when the door opened and Alaric walked in. He carried another case of water. He dropped it next to the fridge and turned to look at her, her hand still wrapped around the toy.Â
"It's not going to work." He warned.Â
"It has to do something." She insisted. "I just need this to stop." The last word came out as more of a sob than anything.Â
"It won't." He walked over, squatting down next to her again. This time she didn't tell him to fuck off or scream for him not to touch her. She was overwhelmed by his presence, his scent, his everything. He took the toy from her hand and with his other hand guided it to the bulge in his sweatpants. "You need this. More specifically, you need this, or what will be there." He stroked her hand from the tip to the base.Â
"I don't know what that means." She admitted.Â
"I know you don't, but your wolf does." He let go of her wrist, pleased when it took her an extra couple of seconds to pull her hand away. This was a good sign. "I'll make you a deal, Little Wolf." He offered.Â
"What?" She asked, her chest heaving. It was taking far more energy than it should to deny him. Even though in her heart and soul she knew that giving in would completely change everything. And not for the better.Â
Alaric grinned as she at the very least was ready to hear him out. He held the little vibrator up between his middle and pointer fingers.Â
"We use this. Let me prove to you that it won't be enough. It's not going to satiate you, the wolf in you needs my cock. But I'm willing to entertain your games." he turned the toy on, he'd put in new batteries before bringing it down, so when it came to life, it was strong. He ran it up her slit over her pajama pants and the panties underneath and that alone had her crying out in pleasure. "What do you say, Little Wolf?" He grinned.Â
"Fine- yes, fucking fine. Just make it stop." She choked out.Â
Fucking finally. He turned off the toy and pulled his knife out of his boot. He slid it through her tank top- slicing through the thin material like butter, her bra was next. If he was going to do this, he was going to fucking enjoy it. He snagged the keys to the cuffs that kept her chained and popped them open as well, so the hoodie, tank top, and bra could slide down off her arms, leaving her top half bare.Â
He dropped the knife and the keys, picking her up with one arm, the other hand grabbing the toy back up. To the bed, they went. It seemed like a rickety thing but it was much stronger than it looked as he dropped her onto it, climbing up on top of her.Â
"Alaric." She whined. He pressed his lips to her collarbone and she pushed him off. "No, just the toy." She snapped.Â
He laughed, stepping down from the bed and yanking her pajama pants off swiftly. The smell of her arousal, her need filled the room and he was harder than ever. He was concrete in his pants.Â
He ripped her panties off- literally, they were soaked with her arousal and driving him mad. He threw them to the side and spread her legs. Fuck- He turned on the toy again, running it up her inner thigh. She whimpered, arching her back up, her hips rising-
He slowly trailed it up, listening to her whimper and whine.Â
"Alaric." She gasped.Â
"Yes?" He trailed it back down, away from her pussy.Â
"Please-"
"Please what, Little Wolf?"
"Please... please use the toy, please." She let out a soft, choked sound and he relented, pressing the plastic and silicone to her clit. She cried out right away, her hand slamming up against the wall as her nerves- already red hot turned up to 50. He almost felt bad, knowing it wasn't going to be enough.Â
She would cum, almost definitely. That was just the nature of the human body but the heat would be going nowhere. If anything he thought this might make it worse. But He couldn't wait any longer. Either she was going to go mad or he was. As it stood he was snapping at everyone, he nearly tore the cabinet doors off the hinges looking for a plate this morning even though the plates were in the same place they had always been.Â
His mate was in heat and he couldn't do anything about it.Â
He could have, he supposed. She was small enough it would have taken nothing to hold her down and take her regardless of what she wanted. And he had been tempted. yesterday when he brought her some more water she'd been on the floor with her legs spread open the he'd nearly ripped her clothes off right then and there. But he knew His Little Wolf. If he did that, that would be the end. There would be no talking her into joining them. And a mate kept in the dungeons for the rest of her life wasn't really something he wanted.Â
He would have done it if he had to but it wasn't preferred.Â
This, however- this was going to get him what he wanted. She propped her feet up on the bed, her legs open wide, her knees bent, lifting herself up to press tighter against the toy. He ran it up and down her slit slowly, a question in his mind.Â
"Little Wolf?" He asked, his voice low. She made a noise in response. "Have you ever pushed the toy inside?" He asked curiously. "Have you ever tried?" He knew she hadn't fucked that boy from town. Her friend or whatever. Alaric had dragged that out of him while beating him to remind him to stay far the fuck away from Scarlett
"Not- Your business." She huffed. He quirked an eyebrow, pulling the toy back. Her hand shot down, wrapping around his wrist to pull him back to her.Â
"Answer the question, Little Wolf," he ordered. She was strong, of course, but he was stronger by far. She pulled a little harder but realized quickly that it was no use.Â
"Dick." She snapped.Â
"I can give you that too, if you're giving in." he teased. She dug her nails into his hand
"No. I haven't... done that." She admitted. He quirked an eyebrow. Well, that was certainly interesting. Good information to have. He wasn't going to give her that either then. He pressed it to her clit again, watching as her breathing shallowed out, his cock twitching against his pants as he watched his Mate cum. She cried out, her hand still wrapped around his.Â
Her hips lowered back down to the bed, and she let go of him, she let out a relieved sigh as the sweet relief of orgasm washed over her.Â
"You were wrong." She laughed. "This is better, this is much better" She closed her eyes, he was sure she'd barely slept at all recently. Hell he had barely slept at all, it was only fair that she was the same.Â
"You'll see." He warned, standing up. The moment she opened her eyes and looked at him- the relief was gone, She could see him straining against his pants and that set her body on fire all over again. Her stomach sank as she realized- it was true.Â
Well, it might not be. Maybe his cock wouldn't work. Maybe this was just her new reality, this wasn't going to go away. Though the very possibility of that made her stick to her stomach. She wouldn't survive.Â
Maybe she didn't want to.Â
"So?" He asked his hands on his hips. She licked her lips, her eyes on the bulge in his pants, At least she got to know she was affecting him as badly as he was to her. She shook her head, closing her eyes, trying to erase the image of him. "Alright, if that's your choice." She could hear the sound of his feet against the stone floor.Â
"Wait!" She couldn't stop the word from escaping. She sat up and opened her eyes, he hadn't moved. He smirked, his eyes trailing over her body again.Â
"Yes, Little Wolf?" he asked.Â
"I fucking hate you." She informed him.Â
"I'm okay with that." He really was as long as she understood she needed him. She looked at the door and then back at him.Â
"You win."Â
"I win?" He quirked an eyebrow at her. He knew what she meant, what she was saying, but he wanted to hear her say it, He wanted to hear the words out of her mouth. She pursed her lips, narrowing her eyes at him. "Say it, Little Wolf."
"Fuck me." Scarlett forced the words out through clenched teeth. "I want you to fuck me." Alaric grinned, victorious.Â
"I will, but I get to do it my way. How I want to do it. I get to take you however I want. All. Night." He demanded. Scarlett glared up at him but she knew he was going to get his way, she couldn't take this any longer
"Fine." She agreed, clenching her jaw. That was all he wanted.Â
"Then we have a deal, Little Wolf. He pulled his shirt over his head and tossed it to the side, Followed quickly by his pants. He wasn't wearing anything under the jeans, he tugged them down his legs and when he stood, his cock bobbed long and thick and proud.Â
"Holy..." She muttered, her eyes widening at the sight. She'd seen a cock before, she and Jamie had... messed around a little before. But it had never gone this far, and Jamie wasn't- nearly this big. She swallowed hard, her mouth-watering and her body burning as he walked over to the bed.Â
"Give me your hand." He ordered. She didn't even think about it, holding her hand out to him. He took it and wrapped it around his cock. It was soft- but fuck it was hard at the same time.Â
"What-" He slowly moved her hand up the length to the base.Â
"This is what you want. Down here. because when I fuck you, and when I cum, this is going to expand inside you. It's going to trap me deep inside of you- until I fully empty out."
"No. No, you don't get to do that-"
"We don't have a choice, even if I didn't want to see how much cum you can hold- which believe me, Little Wolf, I absolutely do, my body will do it regardless."
"But that could lead to-" She stopped her eyes widening even more.Â
"It could." He agreed. No, it couldn't. They had a witch who provided them with potions, it was like birth control from the other side- it meant that they wouldn't be impregnating their women every time they went into heat. And he had been taking it ever since they dragged Scarlett into the home. But she didn't need to know that. He was ready to make her worry, to make her think that she could be pregnant.Â
"Alaric-"
"You already agreed to everything." He yanked her up by her arm, pulling her up into a kiss. She started to resist, but her hormones took over- her body realizing it was going to get what it had been demanding for days now. When she melted against him, he knew it was over, he was going to get everything he wanted without too much more of a fight tonight. Of course with Scarlett, she was likely to fight just for the fun of it and he was okay with that.Â
He pushed her to lay back and she pouted at the kiss being broken, but his lips trailed down her neck, down her chest. His tongue flicked over her hard nipples and she pressed a hand over her mouth to hold back the moan. He reached up, yanking her hand down to the bed.Â
"I want to hear you, Little Wolf, I want the whole goddamn house to hear you." He growled. She whimpered, but didn't try to cover her mouth again as he made his way down her body again, nipping at the soft, smooth skin of her stomach before making it down to the juncture between her legs.Â
Fuck she smelled incredible, and she was so fucking wet, it was all he could do to stop himself from taking her right there. Saying fuck the foreplay and fucking her until she lay limp in his arms unable to so much as twitch a finger.Â
But that wasn't nearly as satisfying as making her enjoy it, as making her love every single second of depravity he was ready to dump on her. To make her crave it like a drug.Â
He pulled her closer to him by her hips and buried his face between her legs, gripping her body tightly to keep her from pulling away.Â
She cried out, her legs spreading wider and her hands shot down to Alaric's hair, gripping the dark strands tightly between her fingers. He could see it in his mind- when he'd grabbed her her nails had been freshly painted a dark blue shade and he'd seen over the past few days how it chipped and peeled and now those nails were scratching against his scalp in the most perfectly maddening way.Â
He ate with fervor, his tongue working her clit and her cunt back and forth, devouring every bit of arousal and cum from her slit like it was the finest of wines and he honestly thought it could be. Sweet and delicious.Â
She tugged harder on his hair, He knew she was close. This was her first real time being touched and she was already over-sensitive from the orgasm she'd already had. He could tell when she was close, her leg muscles tightening, Her cries grew louder, He nipped at her clit and that was the end- she screamed out, her back arching up off the bed as if possessed. He held her up like that until she she done, her body going limp but just for a moment before she was sitting up, yanking him up with a strength he didn't know she had, kissing him hard.Â
"I swear to god, Alaric, if you don't end this soon I am going to kill you and find someone else to handle my problem." The very idea of it flashed in Alaric's mind and he growled- actually growled, pushing her back onto her back. He spread her legs and lined himself up with her pussy. She gasped as he slipped just the head inside, fuck she was tight. He wanted nothing more than to slam into her, to fuck the idea of any other man right out of her head- and he would- soon. She cried out in pain and pleasure as a thrust forced a few more inches of his cock into her, effectively taking her virginity.Â
She let out a whimper, gripping his shoulders, her nails digging into his skin. He pulled out a little, pushing back in- taking it decently slow until he was fully seated within her.Â
"Fuck." He groaned, this was going to be amazing. She stretched around him so perfectly and he sat upright so he could really see it. "You look so good like this, Little Wolf." He delighted in the angry glare she sent his way at the 'compliment'. He did wait until she had relaxed a little to start moving, pulling out and thrusting back in. She was still tense so he didn't go at full speed.Â
"More." She demanded- and if that was what she wanted, then he wasn't going to turn her down. He lifted her up by her hips a little so he could get better leverage and that was it- He began to fuck her in earnest, slamming their hips together at a speed that would have broken a normal, human woman. It was why he'd stopped taking human lovers years ago. They were so easily breakable.Â
Scarlett, however, took it perfectly. She let out a cry of pleasure, her eyes closing as she let herself be lost in the pleasure- in knowing the hell that was heat was finally going to end, it felt like a bucket of the coldest, freshest water was being dumped over her in the best, most refreshing way. For the first time in days, she no longer felt like she was going to die. She felt like she was going to fly to the fucking moon.Â
"Don't stop- Oh god." She cried as his fingers found their way to her clit, teasing that too. She reached down, grabbing his arm with one hand as if holding it there to keep him from taking it away, as if he had any plans to do that. Scarlett was beautiful, and she was even more so when she was cumming.Â
And fuck was she cumming. Her hips bucked up against him and he had to hold on tight to keep from sealing against her and ending it here. No, he wasn't ready yet. He dug his own nails into his palm, waiting until she was done before flipping her over onto her hands and knees and entering her from behind. She buried her face into the bed and whined at the new angle, somehow she felt even tighter from this one, which was good. It meant she'd feel like he was even bigger.Â
And fuck maybe he was, he felt like there was no way he wasn't swollen with how much cum he had built up over the past week of being denied.Â
He wasn't soft or gentle to start with, not this time. No, he was done with that, he let his primal wolf instinct take over and he fucked her, hard and raw. Slamming into her, taking what he wanted. If not for their healing abilities, he knew she'd have bruises and marks all over her body and the idea of it just spurred him on, fucking her hard and faster. She didn't seem to have any complaints as not a single sound coming out of her were actual words. She was reduced to moans and cries of pleasure as he took her.Â
He couldn't comprehend anything outside of his own pleasure anymore. Did she cum again? Maybe? Maybe more than once he couldn't be sure but he'd find out later. He could feel it building, threatening to explode as he slammed into her one last time, holding her against his body as he came- pleasure hitting him over and over in relentless waves. His knot grew, sealing her body to his and though she did cry out in pain, trying to move- it was no use. He held her hips tighter.Â
"I told you what would happen." He reminded her, though quite frankly he didn't care. He was damp with sweat and so was she- the sheets were wet and her hair was a tangled mess. He toyed with a lock of her hair as they remained stuck like that, his fingers trailing down to her spine, over each little bump. She whimpered, letting her head fall back down to the bed.Â
"I fucking hate you." She reminded him, her voice shaky.Â
"Good, I prefer it that way." He answered. She huffed, closing her eyes.Â
By the time his knot deflated, she was sleeping. He pulled out, a little stream of cum leaking out from her cunt, amazing, considering how much he'd stuffed her with. For a moment he regretted taking the potion. The idea of Scarlett being pregnant with his child drove him wild.Â
But it was done, she was finally able to sleep, and her heat was contained. He picked her up and carried her out of the basement. He lay her down on his bed as he went to shower.Â
Finally, she understood, she was his mate. Fate was inevitable and she would be warming his bed, at least once a month for presumably the rest of their lives.Â
Laying on the bed, half asleep, her body too sore and tired to move, Scarlett was plotting. Fate be damned, even now she wasn't going to let him win. This Red Riding Hood wasn't going to bow to The Big Bad Wolf.Â

Why silk is the best fabric
Silk has a particular appeal that other fabrics will never have along with a flowy texture which makes the whole space look royal. You should also know about the various criteria that you should consider while buying fabrics for your home
The reason why you are not able to decide on any particular fabric is that you are not clear with your requirements so you should first know the requirements for each of your rooms. You should also consider the environment as aesthetics that you want your room in when you are selecting your fabrics because even these factors affect the whole look of the room. Look for the following features when you go on a fabric shopping spree:
Silk fabric colour combinations
Once you have crossed the difficult part of choosing the right fabric you can now move on to choose the right colour combination that complements your roomâs whole decor. The fabric is usually bought at the end to buy the right colour after the walls are painted however you can choose the theme for the entire room including the furniture, curtains, etc. This way you can create a sense of harmony and beautify your home perfectly
Textures of the fabric
You know the texture of silk is flowy and they require a lot of maintenance but if you are thinking of being a little more creative then you can also go for different textures and patterns to perk up the whole look. If you have an eye for designs and perfect combinations then you can mix and match different fabrics with unique textures and play with a different pattern such as geometric prints or floral prints
Price of the fabric

Block print fabric is more than just a material; it's an art form that tells stories of heritage, culture, and craftsmanship. Its intricate patterns and vibrant colors have captivated people for centuries, making it a favorite in both fashion and home decor.
What is Block Printing?
Block printing is an ancient technique where designs are carved onto wooden blocks, dipped in dye, and pressed onto fabric. Every print is created by hand, making each piece unique and special. The process requires precision and creativity, turning simple fabric into a masterpiece.
Why is Block Print Fabric Special?
Handcrafted Beauty: Each piece is made by skilled artisans who pour their expertise and passion into the work.

Maximalist Magic: Embrace Bold Colors and Prints for Maximum Impact
Gone are the days of minimalism reigning supremeâtoday, maximalism is taking the design world by storm. Bold colors, eclectic patterns, and layers of texture are at the heart of this vibrant and fearless approach to home decor. If youâve ever felt drawn to the idea of creating a space thatâs full of personality, energy, and visual excitement, maximalism might be your perfect design philosophy. Hereâs how to embrace bold colors and prints for maximum impact and make your home feel as dynamic and unique as you are.
1. Start with a Colorful Foundation
Maximalism thrives on color, and the more, the better! But donât let that overwhelm you. The key is to build a strong, vibrant foundation with your base colorsâthese will anchor the rest of your design. Consider starting with a deep jewel tone (emerald green, rich ruby red, or sapphire blue) or a dramatic dark color (charcoal, navy, or forest green) for your walls. These colors provide a bold backdrop while allowing the brighter hues and intricate patterns you layer on top to pop.
From there, add a mix of accent colors to bring energy into the room. Think vibrant yellows, fuchsia pinks, or mustard oranges. Maximalism is about embracing the full color wheel, so donât be afraid to combine hues that seem to clash at first glanceâjust let them work together to create a dynamic, lively atmosphere.

2. Play with Patterns and Prints
One of the defining features of maximalist design is the fearless use of prints and patterns. The more the merrier! Mixing stripes, florals, animal prints, geometric shapes, and abstract designs can create an exciting visual feast. The trick to pulling it off without overwhelming the space is to keep a sense of balance.
For example, pair large, bold patterns with smaller, more subdued prints to create a harmonious contrast. If your walls are adorned with floral wallpaper, balance it with a striped rug or a geometric throw. Alternatively, if youâve chosen a bold cheetah print pillow, mix it with a colorful checkered blanket or solid-colored furniture to prevent the room from feeling too chaotic.
Pro Tip: Stick to a limited color palette for your patterns (e.g., reds, oranges, and yellows) to keep the overall look cohesive, even as you play with different designs.
3. Layer Texture for Richness
Maximalism isnât just about color and patternâitâs also about texture. Layering different textures can add depth, warmth, and a tactile element to your space. Think plush velvet cushions, shaggy rugs, silk curtains, woven baskets, and metallic finishes. Mix hard textures like glass, metal, and wood with soft textiles to create a room that feels visually rich and inviting.
Use different materials on your furniture, tooâan antique wooden coffee table can sit next to a plush velvet couch, while a shiny brass lamp illuminates the room. These contrasts create a dynamic environment where every corner has something interesting to discover.
4. Mix Old and New for a Curated Look
One of the joys of maximalism is that it allows you to create a space that feels collected and curated over time. Itâs not about buying everything newâitâs about combining old treasures with new finds for an eclectic and personalized vibe. Vintage furniture, heirlooms, and thrifted pieces can add character and history to your space, while modern accessories and artwork infuse the room with freshness.
If youâre unsure where to start, try adding a bold, antique mirror or a mid-century modern chair to an otherwise contemporary setting. The mix of eras and styles adds complexity and visual intrigue.
Pro Tip: Donât be afraid to add unusual or unexpected pieces, like a vintage painting or a quirky sculpture, to create a conversation-worthy space.

5. Add Statement Furniture
Maximalism isnât just about decorationâitâs about making a bold statement with your furniture as well. Choose pieces that make an impact, whether itâs a velvet sofa in a striking color, an oversized armchair in a fun print, or a statement coffee table with an unusual shape or material.
You can also experiment with different types of furnitureâconsider mixing ornate, baroque-style pieces with minimalist modern designs or juxtaposing a sleek glass table with a chunky, rustic wooden console. When done right, it all comes together to create a visually stimulating, yet balanced, space.
Pro Tip: Invest in one or two statement pieces for each room, like a colorful armchair or an eye-catching light fixture, and let them set the tone for the rest of the decor.
6. Use Art to Tell a Story
Art is an essential component of maximalist designâitâs where you can express your personality, your interests, and your creativity. Whether itâs a bold, oversized painting, a gallery wall of eclectic prints, or a collection of vintage posters, art gives you the freedom to tell your story in a visual way.
When curating your art collection, mix different styles and frames to create visual variety. Donât feel like everything has to âmatch.â The more diverse your art pieces, the more dynamic the space will feel. Use artwork as a way to tie together the different colors and patterns in your space or to provide a focal point in an otherwise busy room.
Pro Tip: Donât forget to experiment with different frame stylesâmix ornate frames with sleek, modern ones to create a curated yet carefree vibe.
7. Play with Scale and Proportion
In maximalist design, everything is fair gameâsizes, shapes, and proportions included. Play with scale by combining oversized furniture with more delicate pieces, or balance a large, bold rug with smaller accent pillows. The key is to keep everything proportional so that the room doesnât feel cluttered, but instead, creates a sense of movement and energy.
Pro Tip: A large piece of art or a giant statement light fixture can help ground the space and provide balance when youâve added a lot of smaller, bold elements.
8. Keep it Personal
Maximalism is all about expressing your personality and celebrating individuality. This means your space should feel uniquely yours. Whether it's a wall full of family photos, a display of quirky collectibles, or a collection of your favorite books, make sure to incorporate things that matter to you.
The beauty of maximalism is that itâs not about conforming to a specific style or trendâitâs about celebrating what you love. Embrace your collections, your colors, your textures, and your personal aesthetic to create a space that feels like home.
Conclusion
Maximalism is a design philosophy that encourages boldness, individuality, and the joy of mixing things up. By embracing bold colors, dynamic patterns, rich textures, and personal decor, you can create a space that feels vibrant, exciting, and full of life. Donât be afraid to go big, layer it on, and let your creativity take center stage. Your home should be a reflection of who you areâa place thatâs brimming with energy, personality, and magic.
