I noticed I didn't put my official two cents of Kenjaku up here, whoops ;p

Bit of a long post oop 💀

I don't see alot of original Kenjaku interpretations! I dunno if its just me, but I've mostly seen people say he looked like a freak or was really ugly. Any opinion is just as valid as my own! So here is my personal visual for him.

I imagine him as lanky, probably rather lilithe/slender, around 6', carrying himself in a rather meek manner. He's had a rough life thus far, being rather sick and weak his whole life, Jujutsu Sorcery was a saving grace, because he couldn't soley rely on weapons alone.

Kenjaku was more on the rough side of society, born in poverty he seeked to make a name for himself, to prove to those who look down on him that he's still incredibly capable.

Why the scar on his neck? Well, can't hate curses for no reason at all.. So I gave him one! Basically on his first mission alone, Kenjaku was ambushed and attacked by the curse he was sent to excise. He survived, of course. But the young sorceror was stuck with a gushing wound he couldn't treat- he wandered into the small village to get help. Since then, he's wrapped up his neck, so no one can see his blatant failure as a young sorceror.

Kenjaku was, and still is in some way, deeply caring about those who do more than bat an eye at him. Like Tengen. (if they interacted on friendly terms, which is possible since Kenjaku harbors no ill intention twords her, and even calls her 'friend')

Kenjaku acts the way he does, because he's seen the worst the world had to offer. Sure, he doesn't really have an excuse, nor does he think its an excuse. More of a 'why not, what if' rather than I hate everyone kinda deal. He doesn't care, Kenjaku is more interested in having fun with whatever he's working twords.

He went through hell time and time again, and so he moves on as intended- flipped and inverted, as he should. No clear path is laid out for him- so he began to lay out his own.

He's surprisingly.. Open for who he is, what he wants, and why he's doing what he's doing. (the whole just cus factor) I think It's very interesting! How would things have gone if he didn't fuckin yab his gab to everyone any chance he got?

❥ Bio: keeps it simple, he believes it's better not reveal too much. That's what getting to know someone is for, afterall. Definitely has his spotify connected

❥ Bio: uses the stereotypical bios but ironically. You need 3D chess insight to know he’s joking because it kind of suits him LOL

❥ Bio: Kenjaku is tricky. His profile and approaches change all the time because he's the type that wants to do 'social experiments' on Tinder. I can see him doing the whole 'I made the most toxic profile to see if ppl will still match with me' or making one that comes off SO sketchy it's insane anyone would talk to him. Even worse, will make one looking for a serious relationship only to commit psychological warfare on the poor sap who matched.

❥ Opener: depends on what he wants. Very much a wild card. Some examples:

sends a questionable link - it's a photo of your house from Google Streetview

If being normal, like Geto he comments on something from your profile: you like hiking, have you been to X trail? It has great shade

❥ Messaging: eratic. Either endless chatter, or radio silence. Definitely the most verbose of the bunch--if you've caught his interest or bring up a topic he likes he's texting paragraphs. Will get bored easily if you're a dry texter. Occasionally sends voice memos because it's like a one-sided phone call LOL . Sometimes he asks out quickly, sometimes he doesn't. Sigh.

❥ How he asks you out: I'm a broken record at this point, but it depends on his intent! Sometimes he's charming, sometimes he's insane and wants to creep you out

❥ First date: if he's trying to charm you, he'll take you somewhere he knows you like (that he can stand) OR somewhere entertaining like an open mic comedy night. Hey so i have been seeing this sukuna hates yuji thing very often and i feel like sukuna is still indifferent to him very much as I don't see difference in his behavior even after chp 248 .

Did I miss something?

I think we see Sukuna’s attitude towards Yuuji quite differently. To me, between the two of them, the person who’s been showing indifference, has been Yuuji. 

In the beginning Yuuji had tried to establish some rapport with Sukuna. He even approached him with some dose of sense of humour right after Sukuna ripped his heart out. 

But the moment he realised Sukuna can’t be reasoned with, when Sukuna refused to help Junpei and mocked Yuuji for asking, Yuuji crossed over to cold hatred. He repeatedly doesn’t let Sukuna bait him. Not when Sukuna blames Yuuji for people’s death in chapter 63, not when Sukuna tries to get Yuuji to keep quiet when they meet Angel. Yuuji just dismisses him. Even Yuuji’s reaction to Shibuya isn’t directed at Sukuna. It’s directed inward. He hates Sukuna but in a passive way, he prioritises other things. Trying to do at least something good after Shibuya, getting Gojou out, saving Megumi. Sukuna is an obstacle, but Yuuji tries to engage with him as little as possible.

The opposite is true for Sukuna. He talks to Yuuji, he tries to actively torment Yuuji and constantly questions Yuuji and his worldview. Tries to mock Yuuji.

I personally don’t like the word hate, when it comes to Sukuna’s attitude towards Yuuji. I think Yuuji unsettles him, causes him discomfort, irks him. Yuuji’s existence and especially perseverance go against what Sukuna believes to be true. He believes that only power matters and those who can’t go toe to toe with the strong are insignificant. He deems their lives to be pointless misery. Yuuji on the other hand cherishes human life, it matters to him on a very personal level. 

And even though Yuuji seems weak to Sukuna, someone not on par with him. Still Yuuji has power over Sukuna, he might be the only one apart from maybe Kenjaku and possibly Tengen that has ever had true power over him. Anyone else he can kill and keep his independence from, but Yuuji. He needed a plan, he needed to trick Yuuji into a binding vow to get out. 

When Sukuna was inside, Yuuji unsettled and irked him. But now Sukuna is slightly drifting towards fascination. He’s been introspecting a bunch after he got out from Yuuji, he asked Yuuji directly why he keeps going. He is trying to understand, while he never does that for Yorozu, Gojou or Kashimo. The groupies don’t interest him because they represent the status quo he’s always believed in. Yuuji is its contradiction, a glitch in the system Sukuna’d lived by before they cohabited a body. Sukuna ignores everyone else who’s jumping him. The only other person who’s sparked his curiosity is Maki. Though with her it’s more of a jujutsu nerd kind of curiosity. Yuuji interests him on a far more personal level. 

Of course he’s trying to put on a dismissive front, he constantly insults and diminishes Yuuji, but he’s also constantly thinking about Yuuji. It’s kinda “the babygirl doth protest too much, methinks”.  Especially that Yuuji is still not giving a rat’s ass about Sukuna. It’s kinda like notice me at this point. Like: I can’t get you out of my head, react to my crude cries for attention.

I think the personality fits him as well as his build. Idk I know Chan might not be as serious as Nanami but like HAVE YOU SEEN HIM ANGRY?? Personality wise its a stretch but god put him in the Nanami fit and trust.

Minho with long hair??? Literally him. Their voices even sound the same, Minho really just gives Geto vibes, both as Geto and as Kenjaku. Out of all of skz, he gives the most “villain” energy, but not like big, bad, evil villain, but like the dude is pretty devious.

Changbin > Toji

…yeah. I debated giving Toji to Chan, but like Changbin is huge daddy energy and I don’t think Chan fits the feral-ness like Binnie does. Also bro already dresses like Toji 90% of the time anyways. Give him a scar and we win.

Hyunjin > Gojo

Personality wise, no, but like there is absolutely no one who can match Gojo’s pretty boy level like Hyunjin. Like if I imagined Gojo in real life, it would definetly be a face like Hyunjin. (Plus his height…….)

Han > Inumaki

Hear me out. Inumaki and Han might seem like a stretch but you KNOW Inumaki be spewing the most foul and unhinged shit behind his tuna mayos and mentaikos. I stg if we let Inumaki speak, he would say the most unhinged shit the government would have to put him on a watchlist for. ALSO him and Han are the most babygirl babygirls of all fucking time. I doubted myself about this but like tell me I’m wrong????!!!!!

Okay so originally I had Felix and Han switched for Inumaki and Itadori but this just makes so much sense if you think about it. Felix and Yuji (in season 1) are like the sweetest boys in the world, like I’m so convinced if you threw Felix in JJK in Yuji’s spot, he would do the exact same thing, they literally care so much for everyone around them, but Sukuna? I’d say deep voice Felix is like the Sukuna equivalent when it comes out of him.

Seungmin > Megumi

This was an easy one. They even look the same if you give Seungmin spikey hair. Everything down to their personality and the way they talk is nearly the same. Plus they’re both puppy boys. I literally will not hear any arguments against this. Also Toji/Changbin dad? Yeah.

I.N > Yuta

Another pretty easy one. Two pretty boys with sweet faces but like low-key jacked? Also the switch from JJK 0 Yuta to year 3 manga Yuji is soooo Jeongin coded. Jeongin could literally do both, JJK 0 Yuta is the usual Maknae cute boy I.N and manga Yuta? Have you seen Jeongin’s stage????? (Let me be his Rika please please please I’ll get hit by a car just to be attached to him. For legal reasons I’m joking.)

megumi came to mind first tho, i've been attached to him since i first watched the anime. i love how confident he is in his sense of morality and i relate a lot to that. (not to mention at the time i was going thru a breakup with my childhood best friend over some morally gray stuff an i was heartbroken having to distance myself from them bcuz of what they were doing/excusing.) so to see a character with an unapologetic set of beliefs that in a lot of ways alligned with mine was so comforting. he's also just really neat and cute so 10/10 all around

geto comes to mind next and before anyone jumps down my throat bcuz i don't write for him-- i love him for the way his character is written!!!! what he went through before defecting?? again i just get so enamored with a character fighting/developing their morals. suguru is kinda the opposite of megumi in this case but god i just eat it up every time. i'm definitely someone that doesn't blame him too much for doing what he did ngl... is he extreme? yah... but before kenjaku took over i just loved how he was ready to go to any lengths to protect what/who he cared about (sorry gojo)

gojo ofc makes the list and not just bc he's a pretty princess!! i think he's a wonderfully written character that a lot of people don't fully understand?? i see a lot of ppl getting upet bc of how overpowered he is (like relax that's why he was in that box forever bruh) but miss the point completely? as powerful as he is he's so lonely? everything he's ever loved gets taken from him in some way? (side note i think that's why we see how often shoko feels alone/left out, i think he actively put a distance between them because he couldn't lose her too/she reminded him too much of their shared trauma </3) and you RARELY see him actually showing his emotions, for the most part he only shows what he allows others to see. he's so upbeat all the time but he's so isolated!!!! oldest sibling vibe fr
