16 How did your Rook react to getting trapped in the Fade and separated from their partner?

Hiii thank you so much for the ask and I'm so sorry I took this long to get to it,,,

Not great! Calien gets to watch two of his closest friends and his partner die in quick succession and before he knew better he lost the lyrium dagger and got stuck in the Fade prison. As far as he knows at least. He completely falls for Solas' illusion and believes Lucanis to be dead. He even features in the prison with Bellara and Davrin and Varric (and some Crow related regret of failing to complete the contract on tracking down and stopping Solas).

I imagine he just stands there in shock for a bit. Maybe spends a small eternity on his knees after the reality of it sinks in. Calien isn't very in tune with his feelings so his first instinct would be to block it out and carry on as if nothing happened. Bit hard to do when everything around him takes the shape of the people he lost... HOWEVER it's not like there's anyone around to witness him and his weakness, so he could crash a little. As a treat.

He isn't one to despair normally but it takes a while for him to make his way out of the regret prison.

Once he's back (and done giving Lucanis the longest and tightest hug ever) he's burying those feelings DEEP DOWN again. No time to deal with them and wouldn't know how to anyways! 👍 (This isn't 100% successful but A for effort!)
