I think I've settled myself into my own brand of fanfic now. Expect similar things in future
Ik Tei is good at reading ppl in general, but always believed that his understanding of Red was more than just his own observations and assumptions, but rather because of a firsthand experience with him
Aka, ever notice that Red's the only character who talks about being nervous about school?
Everyone was gathered in front of the principal's office, struggling to comprehend the reality they'd been thrust into. Surprise after surprise after surprise.
It felt strange for Tei to wear clothes other than the outfit he was used to but he decided he should acclimate quickly to ease the stress off his owner's shoulders. Already, they'd been assigned classes and were soon to be expected at their first lesson.
"Then we'll be off now. Everyone, good luck," said Tei, waving to Eri with Red at his side.
"Is this my first class? Ahh, so nervous! Alright, I'll definitely prove myself to everyone today!" Red cheered, hopping around and moving in such a way that Tei worried he was about to take someone's eye out.
"Everyone...be careful," said Eri, sighing at the scene.
"I told you not to worry. Just trust me!" Red beamed. Tei was worried about Eri the most though.
All of them said their goodbyes and Tei couldn't take his eyes off her when she faded into the distance at the end of the hallway with Yeonho and Lance. It felt like an eternity of being bathed in her warm light and then an abyss of emptiness after knowing he now had to face all of the hungry looks in the classroom.
Oh well. If she's happy this way, it's best to keep her that way. He just hoped that everything would turn out okay and that she wouldn't be in danger where she can't see him.
"Here we are. It's this classroom, right, Tei? He said it was the one on the second floor at the end of the corridor."
"Yes, this must be it. Let's go in then," Tei sighed. He picked up his hand to turn the door knob.
"Ah, wait! I just thought... We should probably get a tour of the school before we go in, right? We should learn our way around before we do anything. What if we need to get somewhere?"
"I'm sure it'll be alright. We can just follow everyone else."
"But what if there's an emergency? Are we sure we know our way back to the exit?"
Tei hadn't thought of that. Probably because it wasn't really an issue... Maybe it wasn't that likely for an emergency to happen where other people can't just direct them of where to go, but it probably would be a good idea to find Eri's classroom. If the teacher asks why they were late, they can just explain that they'd gotten lost.
"Well, alright then. Why don't we start by going back to the first floor?"
"Yesss!! March on, team! Let's go 三三ᕕ(ᐛ)ᕗ" Tei wasn't sure how Red put an emoticon into his speech, but it didn't matter.
The pair of them returned to the principal's office, going back the way they came, then explored the rest of the floor, examining the menu at the cafeteria and taking note of the infirmary, before trekking back upstairs. They explored that floor as well, then the next, and finally returned to the classroom they'd been assigned.
"Well, that was definitely an adventure," said Tei, minding the pain in his knee from walking such a distance. "But I think we should really get to class now. Let's-"
"No, wait!!" What now? "... Are we sure we know our way around?"
"... What do you mean?"
"What if we're not really sure of where everything is? I think we should check again just to make sure."
"I'm pretty sure I know my way around now... And we're going to be late now, they're going to wonder what's keeping us so long."
"But..! I left something back downstairs!"
"Red, you...don't even have anything on you in the first place..."
"No, but..! Actually..! I need something from...the infirmary?"
Tei sighed. "... Okay. What do you need?"
"Um... It's just...something... I can't remember what it's called..."
"... Alright then, let's go."
"Yes!! Come on, Tei, I'll race you there!!"
"Ahh- Please don't run!!" Tei cried. But Red was already out of sight.
At the infirmary, the pair met quite a strange man and his lover, Beatrice, the skeleton model. This didn't really help to move them along with getting into the classroom.
"What did you say you needed?" Tei asked.
"Umm... You know what, it's not important... Tei, this guy looks suspicious," Red whispered.
"Yes, we should leave." They said their goodbyes and headed back upstairs again.
"Okay. Are you finally ready to get to class now?" Tei asked. Red was wringing his hands behind him.
"Ehh... Well... So, actually... Um... I have to go to the bathroom first."
Tei found it impossible not to roll his eyes at the sight of Red dashing off back down the hall towards the mens' toilets. At least they'd already gone on a good tour of the school so they knew where to find it.
It would have been easy enough for Tei to simply abandon Red and enter the classroom on his own, and the journey was killing his knee, so it was very tempting. But he decided that the owner would not be very happy if she found out that he abandoned Red on the first day.
It was a smallish sized room with urinals on the one side and cubicles on the other, with sinks under the blurred window.
It was a bit quiet.
"... Red?"
"Um... I-"
Tei approached the locked cubicle Red's voice was coming from and crouched down upon realising that his feet, visible through the gap in the bottom of the door, appeared to be pacing in circles inside the small space.
"Red... Are you really alright?"
"Huh? What? Oh- Um, I'm, I'm really alright, uh-"
"... Are you sure?"
His breathing sounded heavy, like he was running. Tei watched him stop in place and sit down with his back to the floor.
"I'm... I... It- It's fine really..."
"... Do you...not want to go to class at all?"
The silence spoke for itself.
"... No, it's not that I don't want to, just- I'm just-"
"I do understand," Tei sighed, shifting on the floor to a more comfortable position for his knee. "Yuri did bring us here very suddenly. I was very startled too when I had to put on this uniform and go to school without even being fully explained of the situation."
"No, um.. It's not that, I just..."
Tei waited patiently in silence to let Red take his time, allowing himself to catch his own breath.
"... Do you think they'll like me?"
"... Of course. They'll definitely like you."
"No, I mean... I don't even have my special powers yet. I will get them soon, if I try my best, but... What if they don't want to wait?"
Tei raised an eyebrow at the mention of special powers. He recalled hearing about the Red type believing he would one day gain special powers. If he was honest, he didn't personally believe in his special powers in the slightest. It just wasn't something that seemed possible.
He let out a sigh. His own personal opinion mattered little when Red's emotional state might be an issue that, if not treated, could affect the owner.
"It'll be alright, Red."
"... Really?"
"I'm sure it will. You'll still get your powers, since we'll be working hard to defend justice together, so that thing is nothing to be worried about. If they aren't happy about you not having those powers yet, then why don't we show them just how dedicated to justice we are when we see them?"
"Hmm..." Red considered his words. He seemed to calm down. "You really think that would work?"
"Definitely," Tei smiled. "It's alright to be nervous. If they don't like you, then we'll show them why they should. Right?"
"Alright. Um... Okay. Yeah. Then let's do that... " Red breathed in. And breathed out. "... I'm okay now. Yeah. I'm alright..."
"Do you need five more minutes or are you ready to go in now?"
"Um... A bit more maybe..."
"Then alright. I'll be waiting outside for you then, okay?"
"Okay... Thanks, Tei..."
"Of course," he said, standing up. He stood outside, keeping watch. He was glad to not have seen many other students walking around, not wanting to draw attention to themselves in such a delicate situation.
Perhaps this might not be the best method of handling Red's emotions, since he tends to be quite hyper when excited, so even that might be a problem. But being near him all the time would let Tei keep a good eye on him and his emotional state, so he could always be around to do damage control. He made a mental note to try and get a seat in the classroom as close to Red as possible.
It was actually closer to ten minutes than five before Red emerged from the restroom but it seemed to have done good, since on his face was no trace of the turbulence of emotions from before.
"Ready?" Tei smiled, starting towards the classroom.
Red beamed and gave a mischievous wink, saluting as he did so.
"Race you there, Tei!!"
I used to have panic attacks on the way to school too Red <33333 is ok, it get better

Who are some of your favorite male yanderes? Personally I like Domotoris Yuki character and Kylar from dol
I actually did make a list here about the type of yanderes I like, but I do have a couple more since it's been a while, haha.
Liev from Pulsato Cordis - I'm not sure exactly why I like him, but I think it's because he's both a reluctant yandere and is afraid of scaring the MC (in one part he ends up panicking if you call him a monster). Plus he has cute reactions if you pay for his meal. Overall, I like the relationship built up between him and Quinn.
Lake from Forever Yours - I mean technically it's not out yet, but @dei-os is in the process of making it and I do love my pathetic crying yandere guys. I honestly don't see the crybaby type a lot a lot (I think the closest one that I've seen is like maybe Trick or Kiss or maybe Yeonho from Nameless before his redemption arc) so seeing him and his personality makes me immediately like him.
Yuuto/Oliver/Odin from @tsukaramachi - currently she hasn't really been active (I'm assuming university is taking up her time), but I really do like her Ocs and general art style. Yuuto for obvious reasons is the poster child, he's pretty sweet and tries to become the person the s/o likes (which I always like). Oliver is a crybaby so I mean, no surprises there and Odin is a weird drooly dogboy and he's cute too.
Xie Yun from Pestered by the Yandere Once Again - Future Recommendation, but I did like reading this one even if the main female lead kinda gets away with most things? The yandere in this one is like a puppy dog and the main female lead is pretty cool. The plot is kinda confusing though, but listen... he's cute.
Taiyou/Tsukita from StalkerxStalker - It's more of a comedy based one, but I still think it's really cute. The bigger buffer guy is more of the softy in this one while the smaller cuter one is the scarier one. It hasn't been translated in a while though, so that's unfortunate.
Akira from How to Train your Handsome but Overbearing Boyfriend- I always forget about this one, but when I watch it, I remember how much I love it. I keep watching it over and over again for no reason, but the relationship is cute. I just like cute things okay.
Abyss from Kiss the Abyss - This is more in the idea that I like the entire thing and not necessarily just Abyss, but since I love the Killing Game genre so much, this one was really fun to read. It's really well written and fun to read through. Plus, I think the dynamic between Abyss and Prince is really balanced, which is rare in a lot of BL style stories, if I'm honest.
Kirihara Kan from There is a Lie in My Contract Marriage - I actually don't like the yandere in this one, but the story is really interesting and kept me on my toes. Plus, the artstyle is pretty nice too.
Amane Ryugen from My Perverted Stalker - ystrike might not like it, but dang it, I did! I mean aside from the kinda sus stuff that happens and how quickly conflicts are resolved, I actually do like the relationship between Amane and Rindo. Amane isn't too extreme of a yandere but he has enough to warrant being one. Future Recommendation.
The Mermaid from What's Your name - Future Recommendation. I can't really tell the name of the mermaid because that kind of defeats the purpose of the game, but I really did like his route. His attitude about things was really cute and innocent (being afraid that he got her pregnant just by touching her was really funny) while also being dangerous in many ways. I think the MCs for each route are pretty unique as well.
if you can't tell, I have a... type and usually, it's a mix of can I coddle this yandere and/or break them because there's no in-between. It kind of makes it hard to find the type of yanderes I like, but that's alright, I think it's good to experience different things.
Oh, I too, also love Kylar a lot. He fits into that category after all and plus, I think his interactions are really cute. And his dismissal event... well, that one is pretty good too. Now if only I could top him...

Verivery Dynamics : The Parents
Hoheon
Tumblr media
*Scroll to the bottom for tldr*
I just think their dynamic is so interesting and cute, as well as their differences being 2 leos
I'll probably do yeonho and yongseung too because they're both geminis but so different
Sun: Main identity
So Leos: fire signs, very passionate, caring, generous, natural leader, hardworking. Can think very highly of themselves looking at you Dongheon
Moon: Emotions/ Inner self
Hoyoung is pisces. Water sign, so emotional, very compassionate/ empathetic, dreamy. That mom energy
Very good at breaking down someones barriers go beyond the barrier
Just an overall sweetheart
Dongheon is Scorpio, which is also a water sign so👏👏 but scorpios are ....complex 😂
Keep in mind this is also kangmins so they are ruled by emotion, can be super sentimental (kangmin being emotional/ crying easily) but it's also more passion. I mean you can really see that in Dongheon. But they're also mysterious/ secretive, can keep to themselves about personal things.
They really like digging deep and seeing a persons true self. Very intuitive, like emotional depth in their relationships
Scorpio🤝pisces v cute, I think they could really understand each other pretty deeply because they both see beyond facades but in a different way
Mercury: Communication
They both have leo.....
So authority (wow dongheons chart really just says Leader in all caps ok) confidence, able to inspire, good speakers and performers👏👏👏 ("really good leaders and parents"😂)
Warmth, love creative expression and have their own flair
Venus: Love
Hoyoung is Cancer. This basically just says mom Sensitive, Gentle, Nurturing, Cautious, Wholehearted. But can also be insecure, emotional, and controlling.
They can be shy about who they let in but they have unconditional love for those they're close to. I'm definitely not getting emotional
Dongheon is another leo😂
Dramatic, captivating, affectionate, caring
"Venus in Leo is caring and considerate and will do anything to protect the ones they love."
They have high expectations and expect their loved ones to give as much as they do. They love constant praise😂
And once again Passionate
They really said loving+ protective parents
Mars: Agression
Hoyoung is cancer again such a softie
Protective over loved ones, but also protective of themselves. Sensitive, prone to worry, Avoid confrontation. Can be passive aggressive rip
They exude a calm strength that can be soothing to others
Trouble with touchiness😭 think about when he said he wants kangmin to show him more affection...but then never initiates it
It also says that if they dont have other people to protect/ care for they can be too protective of themselves. So verivery is so perfect for himmmm
Dongheon is Libra! An Air Sign!!
Equality, caring, ambitious, mediator, indecisive, charming, great at compromise
They're happiest when everyone around them is so theyll go the extra mile to make that happen😭💕
Passive aggressive too oml
They hate chaos/ imbalance so will try to fix that as fast as possible
And that's all the planets I'll do because I'm most familiar with them!
*Bonus North Node: life purpose/ journey
Dongheon is Libra same
To learn how to love others and take care of them - but even more of an emphasis is learning to be an equal with others. To learn how to give and take fairly. How to compromise and to cooperate.
Hoyoung is Virgo
On the path to help and serve others without expecting reward or recognition in return. To learn to be humble in generosity and helpfulness.
There was really only water and fire until the last second...
*Tldr*
So overall I think they're amazing to have as the oldest in the group, great to lead/parent the others.
Leos are amazing leaders and because of the other placements they dont really but heads at all.
As I said the water moons have the ability to understand each other really deeply, which could create a very strong bond.
Same mercury really helps then to understand each other again because they're the same in that way which can be a big asset
Their venus' are both protective which is really sweet. While Dongheon is more in your face Hoyoung is a lot quieter about it. They really balance each other out.
Mars, protecting and mediating... once again a cute duo. Must be great for disputes with the others, probably not great for ones with each other but who knows
Anyway that's it! I really think they're an even cuter duo now😭
If you read this all, you're actually amazing ilysm!
Feel free to request anything 👀

Top five fictional men with long, luscious silver hair GO
Argent, must you constantly come for me like I'm a demon and you're a slayer?/lh
slams head on desk
Well! I can't back out now though! Here goes!
..........
5. Prince Lotor from Voltron: Legendary Defender. I have mentioned only once before that I watched the show. And when I watched, I was introduced to Lotor and all his scheming, broodiness and his beautiful, flowing, white alien hair. I thought he was pretty neat. ... Until he was ruined by the series' inability to pick a villain and stick with them! His chemistry with Allura felt a little forced but I understood what the creators were trying to do. In the end, though, he ended up kind of wasted. His appearance and aesthetic are pretty cool but I wish they were used better.
4. Aavaros from The Dragon Prince. What a mysterious elf he is. There's not much known about him except facts like he's confined in a magic mirror, he knows dark magic, and the mirror he's in was guarded by the most powerful dragons. He's also helping the current antagonist so he's pretty bad news. And since Dragon Prince is still ongoing, there's still a chance for him to not be a flop like Lotor.
3. Jihae from Dandelion: Wishes Brought to You. My favorite guy from Dandelion. He's a charming man and so very considerate. I think the reason he's my favorite love interest is because he is always trying to his best to do right by Heejung. Taking up a job, running errands, doing chores around the house, etc (yeah, a bit of domestic vibes helps his case, so you know). I think part of it stems from his self-worth issues and his habit of serving but I think it's also him genuinely wanting to help Heejung because of how hard she works accommodating him and the others. Jihae acts politely and treats her respectfully at all times which sometimes makes it hard to get a read on his romantic feelings but once they come out, it's fine. Let me be honest, I always swoon a bit whenever he says "My Lady." Also, Jihae's ending is one of the better ones since he and Heejung are unambiguously reunited and appear to be re-establishing their relationship. Very wholesome.
2. Lance from Nameless: The One Thing You Must Recall. The very first otome guy I romanced. He's got a special place in my heart because of that. His story is interesting. Despite being a doll-turned-human like the other guys, he doesn't have anything he's naturally inclined towards because he was a blank slate doll. However, he's not a blank person. He's competent with academics, reliable with tasks given to him, and he looks out for others (mostly Eri but in Yeonho's route he shows concern for the yellow chick's reputation). While he worries about not being special, I thought he was pretty distinct from the other LIs considering he started out cold and distant while the others were flirt, friendly, or just generally more approachable. Eri's connection with her grandpa and friends also gets addressed better in Lance's route compared to others (in my opinion at least).
1. Licht from Black Clover. I wish Licht got more attention! He was the leader of the elf tribe and everyone adored him. Even when faced with discrimination from humans, he wanted to reach out and make peace with them. He resisted corruption long enough to make a plea to Lumiere and prevent Zagred from fulfilling his plan. Skip to five hundred years later and we see that even with his soul sealed, he still looks out for his loved ones and will fight for their sake. And boy does he fight. I admit that during the Asta and Yuno vs. Licht fight, I found myself rooting for him because he was just that cool. The force of his magic and ability in battle is admirable indeed. Favorite moment from him is when he came so close to obliterating Zagred by blasting him with an attack powered by all the reincarnated elves'. Kind, empathic, dedicated, and protective; that's what I saw in the little time he was given. I wish he could've stayed to see what became of the future he protected and help establish a new elf tribe. But I am happy with what I did get of Licht.

While yanderes love interests (or characters) in media for me is an either an hit or miss (more than likely most of time a miss. mostly for the fact that some yanderes at least in anime simp very hard for the most innocent naive weak love interests. on one hand I understand that this is done for the reader or watcher to basically throw themselves into the mc. so the reader can feel like being chaotic and smugly loved by someone who just so happens to might kill them or people they love just because they are close to them.) another problem yanderes tend to get into is that they tend to be very basic; other then killing family members or friends and being unreasonably obsessed with their partner it tends to end there. (its kinda like having a stalker but added high amounts of obsessions and clingingness to their "lover" based on their past, add points of lack of self-awareness and selfishness. with no remorse and willingness to do whatever they can to be the only one for their "lover") not counting the op of the yanderes. The only thing that can really keep me personally invested is how much planning they go into with being capable to move on the fly if a plan goes wrong to still be on top, otherwise it pretty much does nothing for me. for me the cream of the crop is the schemer characters who are willing to do three died chess with people's lives and no one can tell if they are honest tactician or evil villain. the type who will be nice to general public and has a good reputation but behind close doors drops their mask and becomes a ruthless conniving sadist. (TDR: Yanderes 🤷‍♀️ but Schemer 😤🥵)
i can’t remember the term for it exactly, but there is an archetype for manipulative schemers, and it’s not yandere -- haraguro maybe? i don’t remember it exactly, but it’s something like that, i think. someone pls correct me because i know i’m wrong here (´・ω・`)?
anyway, i beg to differ on the point about latching onto innocent characters/mc for the sole sake of letting people self-insert. i can’t say for certain whether or not that’s a reason, but there’s a lot of themes and ideas to be explored using a kind of angel/devil pairing. do they find a compromise between their natures? does the ‘sweeter’ one help the other become a better person? or does the devil corrupt the angel? does the relationship even work out, or are they just too different to cope with it? does it devolve into a toxic relationship, etc.
on that note, just from my own personal observation of discussion surrounding yanderes, i don’t think the reason why people love them is quite for what you stated. a lot of it is more...impersonal? more of the fact that the character is interesting/pitiful in some way, and that’s why people love them. for me, personally, i love the danger of it all. not until the end usually, do i ever feel comfortable and ‘snugly loved’. most yanderes in otome games have their whole character arc centred around trying to tame their possessive/toxic behaviour, and trying to be a better person. the healing aspect of it is really alluring too, especially because it’s usually about the yandere confronting someone/something in their past that’s hurt them, and they’re finally letting go of the past (some great examples -- tei in nameless, kenshin in ikemen sengoku).
in terms of otome, i don’t really see the ‘murderous yandere’ trope invoked that much? at least in regards to people the mc cares about. not even toma was like that in amnesia, and he’s pretty much the poster boy for rabid yandere in the west. i’ve seen yanderes threaten it, but never really go through with it, and tbh the only games i can remember seeing this trope played straight are starstruck love (in which everyone but mc is a yandere so yikes poor girl), and monochrome heaven (aka depression the game). i mean, yeah also marcus in til death do us part, but that’s on par for a ero-guro game.
on scheming yanderes, well, a lot of schemers are yandere, but not all yandere are schemers. taking nameless as another example (spoilers!!!), you can argue whether they all qualify as yandere, but from what i remember, yeonho, tei, and nameless are all yandere. yeonho isn’t scheming at all and doesn’t really want to hurt eri in any way, while tei is willing to do a bit of manipulation and hurting to keep her close. then there’s nameless, who’s just pissed beyond all belief at being forgotten, and is pretty much willing to wreak havoc in eri’s life until she remembers him. they’re all yandere, in my opinion, just different flavours.
also, only tangentially related to this, i find it really interesting that yanderes aren’t really popular in the west, but are super popular in the east. like toma was super divisive here, but he’s pretty much either the most, or second most popular character in amnesia over in japan. i really wish diabolik lovers got an english port before the anime aired, because i think the anime really sullied its reputation in the west, and at this point, i don’t think rejet is ever gonna port it over. it would’ve been super interesting to see how it’d be received here, especially since it came out around the 50 shades of grey hype era, but oh well

MAGPIE UR MIND IS SO . I COULD KISS U RN BC IVE BEEN SAYING THUNDER IS A PREQUEL FOR AGES AND NO ONE ELSE SEEMS TO THINK SO. i think the order is generally O-Thunder-Tagx3-Lay Back-Get Away-Trigger-Undercover with other mvs and content as pieces in between. i saw another theorist say that in “O” and the concept films kangmin’s family forgot his birthday, and the guys take him out instead. so he probably feels isolated and lonely, and turns to them for comfort bc he’s family’s not giving him that attention, which could be the start of the things brewing with the other vrvrs. i think kangmin (and others’) distress and problems “opened the door” for their other selves to come through. thunder makes sense to be the first contact- kangmin is the youngest and vulnerable so the clones target him first, and again the guys have to bring him back. the thing is, i don’t think they recovered the real kangmin. i think the one they bring in after thunder is the clone kangmin, who starts putting his plan in action and fucking with everyone (and traumatizing minchan lmao). with the fake kangmin ingrained into verivery, the rest of the clones come in and introduce themselves
- vrvr anon who is having too much fun
hehe what can i say i am a genius :3 and after all great minds think alike !!
YEAH thunder just feels very prequel-y to me, because vrvr still seem to have the close friend-vibes that start to obtain darker undertones as the mvs progress, but there also isnt a single clone appearance in the video so it seems logical to think that thunder would be where it all started/what let the clones IN in the first place. and the kangmin that the other guys bring back being the clone makes SO much sense holy shit-- that would explain how he's singled out in all the rest of the mvs too!! the red "school kills" jacket in undercover while the others are wearing all white, the scenes across multiple mvs where he lifts his head out of the group huddles to look at the camera because he Knows Shit... also how in tagx3, minchan doesnt see his OWN clone, he sees KANGMIN. i thought that was suspicious at first because, why would he see kangmin's clone and not his own? but it makes sense-- it's kangmin's clone, the one they brought back in thunder, starting to enact his "plan" by terrorizing minchan, then beginning to let the other clones through over the rest of the tagx3 mv. its all coming together...
(i think i remember kangmin having seperate outfits from the rest of vrvr in other mvs, too-- like in undercover, specifically during the car chase/driving scene, kangmin1 was wearing a white outfit in the middle of two other vrvr members wearing darker outfits, and kangmin2 was wearing a dark outfit in between two vrvr members wearing lighter outfits)
but wait then, where's the og kangmin? is he with the clones? how's HE doing? there's so much to unpack with this hdfjhgjgj
the overall timeline you mentioned makes a ton of sense-- it seemed like a LOT of shit was going on under the surface in O, what with minchan and the pill bottle and dongheon/yeonho (i dont remember which) laying in the body outline. all the hardships theyre going through in O being for the trigger for kangmin going missing and all the shit that happens in thunder, then the appearance of the clones in tagx3 and lay back... y e a h (this really is way too much fun hgdjhhjfjbf)
also, im glad to find out that ive watched pretty much all the mvs that are most important to the storyline-- although i might have to go back and watch trigger and GBTB again, since i havent watched those mvs as much (bc i like those songs a little less than their other tts) so the content isnt as fresh on my mind

Pleaseeee a headcannon of Nameless bonding with the other dolls and getting to be their friend?
YES YES YES YES YES.
I love Nameless okay! I love him so much. Can I just like, hug him.
I have no idea how I feel about this, it’s been a while since I’ve played the game, but I haven’t updated this blog in ages.
Nameless (and everyone else):
When first living with the others, he was generally pretty quiet and avoided everyone with the exception of Eri.
He wasn’t quite sure what he’d expected when she’d remembered his name, for her to decide that she didn’t need the others anymore? that he was enough for her like he’d been when she was little? He knew that things had changed between them since then, that things would never go back
When Eri wasn’t around he spent most of his time around the silver haired doll-turned-human. His company was easily the least irritating, if only because he barely spoke at all.
He’d found that he liked reading quite a bit and would spend most of his time pouring over old books from the library. As much as he’d hated that room before, he found it so much better when he could move of his own free will. It was…comfortable on good days, or at least, during the day, the other dolls tended to avoid the room.
The next doll he supposedly got “close to” was the green eyed Tei.
He could barely contain his hatred for him, but it was clear that Eri was fond of all of them so he did his best not to offend them. Offending them wouldn’t be good at all, if he did, they could send him away and he wouldn’t be able to see her any more.
Despite how often he thought that, it always made him feel cold and empty.
Tei was polite enough, even if the mixture of dislike and distrust practically radiated from him.
It was Tei that taught him how to cook and who taught him that he…didn’t mind it, in fact, he came to find comfort and enjoyment in it in the same way that he’d come to like reading.
He got to know the cheerful, blonde one in the kitchen as well.
Nameless assumed he was generally the easiest of the group to get alone with out he was loud and enthusiastic and cheerful and everything that he definitely wasn’t used to. He looked to Eri more in his interactions with Yeonho then with the others and eventually the two fell into a tentative…coexistence
Red was easy enough to get along with, solely based off how he was practically begging to be friends from day one, even with the near constant doubt and distrust on his face whenever he looked at him.
The last one, the music teacher, was where he drew the line.
He observed him from a far, staying somewhat behind Eri during their interactions as if she could somehow protect him
He didn’t want to admit that he was getting closer to the others. Somehow it felt like giving up, but one night while sitting with Eri in her room, she mentioned how glad she was that he was starting to get along with the others and now could he let her down by saying that he hated them and that he wasn’t their friends, so he just nodded slightly and looked away.
Still being “friends” with the others made it so that he could be closer to her during the day, that the others got more willing to leave him alone with Eri and that was more then enough incentive to continue on with whatever tentative friendship was forming.

I’m gonna tag: @minyoonjiswifey, @jjang-jjang-hope, @seon-yeonhoes, and @elvendorks cause why not?
Okay, here we go...
Rules: answer 30 questions and tag some blogs you would like to get to know better
1. nicknames: Jaz, Jazzy, smooth jazz, jazzybear, tollest, queen of destruction...I have a lot actually...
2. gender: female
3. star sign: Libra sun, Aquarius moon, and Leo rising
4. height: 6′0″ or 183cm
5. time: 12:43am
6. birthday: October 1st

We saw how the Nameless boys would react to if Eri was a musical fan, but how would they react if she wrote and directed musicals? What if her musicals are actually pretty famous?
God I wish that were me This is so fun!!!
TEI
Mom Doll is proud!!
He didn’t know that’s where you vanished off to everyday!
No wonder you can kinda keep up with the house
You have to let him come to all of your shows now
He’ll pay for his own ticket but now he has to see a show
What kind of boyfriend would he be if he didn’t?
You know he doesn’t generally enjoy musicals so you try to tell him not to because he wouldn’t enjoy himself
He insists on going
You cave
He would’ve gone anyways
He’s completely starstruck
He knows there are other people involved (like Light Heads, Sound Heads, Choreographers, etc)
But holy cow
That was all your artistic vision!
He’s beyond proud
LANCE
He insists on going and there’s no way you’re arguing with him
You get him a comp ticket
He’s relieved to know that legitimate theatre is typically a formal event
He dresses all nice just for you and your show
Of course he was only able to afford those clothes with Yuri’s money
He’s completely blown away
Not only was the show amazing but the audience…
They were so polite
They clapped at all the right times, no one was eating in the theatre
He wished that the other dolls could act like this all the time
Lance will now be at every one of your performances
And will also try to get a job as some sort of techie
Just so he can be closer to you while you work
RED
He just immediately starts squealing
He didn’t know you could direct!!
You’re nothing like his own director!!
He begins to wonder if his director would get mad at him for auditioning for one of your musicals
He shrugs and figures it’ll be okay
Definitely plans on auditioning for your next musical
In the meantime…
He’s going to the musical that’s currently running!!
You manage to get him a ticket
He is completely awestruck
Definitely a bit of a rowdy audience member though
People have to shush him multiple times
But he can’t contain his pride and his love for you
YEONHO
Honestly…
He doesn’t quite understand what this means
When you try to explain he kind of gets it
Not really though
You decide that taking him to one of your shows would be the best bet on getting him to understand
He agrees to any date with you~
He has a good time and you once again try to explain to him what your job is
“So…you’re like, the boss of everyone?”
You sigh inside and just nod
That’s the gist of it, you suppose
He’s lucky he’s cute
YURI
Definitely the most excited
Insists on paying for his own ticket and taking the rest of the boys
Art is supposed to be paid for fairly and admired by all
This is the only time he’s okay with providing the boys a luxury
God he’s just so…so proud of your show
He enjoyed it immensely and didn’t hear a single bad thing about it from anyone
He thinks you have an amazing future ahead with this
He thinks you’re amazing
After dropping the boys home, he takes you out to dinner
Not a date, just a celebratory meal
The first time he’s said that an outing with you two alone wasn’t a date
It feels strange, but he’s just so proud of you and happy for you
He doesn’t want to make today uncomfortable
It’s your day and you deserve to be pampered
Definitely one of the kindest things Yuri has done for you

Heya! First off, I really love and appreciate your blog!! It's so hard to find yandere guys sometimes so I always look forward to see you post 🥺💕
I've actually got a male yandere recommendation of my own! It's an otome game called Nameless~ The one thing you must recall and it's available to buy on steam. I checked your masterlist to see if you've talked about this before but couldn't find anything, so sorry if you did and I just didn't see it!
Anyway, I'm playing the game right now and I'm not done with it yet but two of the love interest out of five I would definitely categorize as a yandere. Their names are Yeonho and Tei! I'm wondering what you think of the game if you ever plan on playing it! ^^
Tumblr media
Hi, hi! Thank you so much, I also appreciate all the stuff you do for your writings and just liking my stuff in general. I'm glad that my efforts in finding male yanderes make people happy.
Nameless is actually the second otome game that I've ever played (the first one being Amnesia Memories, for obvious reasons) and I really love the way that they make all of the guys interact. Usually in otome games, the characters are... pretty separate? They interact, but they're not very close to each other, nor do they really affect each other within the game, but Amnesia does a good job in making all of these guys interact in a family almost and I really like that, haha.
Yeonho, Tei and ??? are yanderes in my opinion. Yeonho is probably my favorite since he's my type and also his story arc was really good, going from a really clingy character to one that's more matured (which is good in terms of character development, but I still kind of liked the more clingy Yeonho, haha.) and in his bad endings his voice changed from really cute to vicious and I really loved that as well. Tei was alright as well, though I don't think I liked his route as much, since a lot of his route was just a lot of misunderstandings (which in any media is kind of annoying, especially when it can be solved with some communication), though he does end up interrupting one of Yeonho's yandere endings which I found pretty surprising.
The people who made this game, Cheritz, are pretty well known for their good stories and their yanderes. Dandelion has Jisoo and Mystic Messenger has Yoosung Kim, Jumin Han and Ray (though I think Ray is a bit debatable haha). Personally, I really like their games so far since all the characters are usually pretty good and have good backstories and routes to go through. Also, I find their MCs more tolerable and interesting than other otomes I've played.
On a sidenote, I was thinking of creating a blog as a backup for this tumblr blog, just in case something happens. I wanted to also rewrite some of my recommendations and asks to be a bit less train of thought and more structured and to do proper reviews of more popular male yanderes as well. Obviously, this blog will be my main, but I think it might be nice to create a blog as well. What do you all think?

Desperate Yanderes
I honestly can’t believe I hadn't thought about these kinds of yanderes before considering how much I adore desperation in yanderes. Thanks to @tsukaramachi for helping me brainstorm a couple of ideas for future analysis, including this one! So with that, let’s start talking about desperate yanderes.
I’ll be honest, one of the biggest reasons I love yanderes so much is the sense of desperateness that yanderes display. Not only does it show a sense of vulnerabilities that we might not usually see in yanderes, but it also shows that something that is normally frightening and generally in control of the situation, lose control very quickly. It also better demonstrates how emotionally frail a yandere can be, especially in a situation where the odds are not in their favor.
This analysis will split desperate yanderes into two parts: a desperate yandere and a yandere in a desperate state. While a yandere can have both scenarios, they can also just have either one.
A desperate yandere is a yandere who is extremely afraid of losing their s/o and tries to please them as much as possible. While the reasoning of why they’re afraid can range from being too vicious and scaring them off or not being good enough, the general motivation of a desperate yandere is the fear of their s/o leaving them. Because of this, in most situations, the yandere will always be in a more submissive position, becoming to the s/o’s will and whim. Even if a desperate yandere has their s/o trapped in a cage, they will most likely be afraid of displeasing their s/o in some variation or another, even if they have the upper hand.
Desperate yanderes tend to be very emotional as compared to other yanderes and tend to have problems with self-confidence or abandonment issues. Some examples might be the idea that they’re not good enough for the s/o, that if the s/o leaves them there will be nobody who will ever love them and that the s/o is the reason for their existence and without them they’re nothing.  Because of this, this type of yandere is generally very emotionally fragile and is generally fairly easy to manipulate emotionally. Because of the emotional fragility that this yandere has, it’s very easy for them to panic suddenly or to break down if things don’t go their way. They tend to have mood swings to some capacity or another and are almost always clingy. A very good example of this is Yeonho from Nameless, who has an excessive fear of being abandoned by the MC. Throughout his route, we can see him do his best to please the MC, with him cooking food for only her and none of the other dolls he’s living with, forcing himself to like the rides that they go on when they’re at the amusement park and even telling her that he’s willing to be destroyed if it makes her happy. The MC starts to avoid him, as he’s become overly clingy until one day he doesn’t come home, and she finds him outside, getting a fever from the rain, standing there for so long because he believes he has no more use. Besides the tremendously sad story, we really see how much Yeonho wishes to please the MC, to the point of self-destruction.
There are a lot of ways that a desperate yandere will attempt to please their s/os or prevent them from leaving them. The first and generally most harmless is overcompensation. I’ve talked about this in my other analysis before, but the idea is that the yandere will often go overboard in showing affection because they want to please their s/o. They might plan out a date in excruciating detail, from what possible scenarios might happen and how to prevent them, or having multiple gifts based on what the s/o gives them. If something goes wrong, they might be extremely worried about the s/o’s reaction and plan accordingly to the next event. Yanderes that overcompensate like this are generally very aware of what the s/o likes and dislikes, have a fairly good memory and are usually pretty good at gathering information. This might lead to other things like stalking or blackmail in order to gather more information, but usually, these kinds of things are rather harmless. The second way is to become more like the person the s/o wants. In the most extreme case, this is adjusting the yandere’s entire personality, appearance and even gender to becoming someone else, which would put immense pressure on the yandere, and/or physical pain (like changing their height, which means adding more bone). In most cases, it’s usually smaller things, like bad habits that the s/o gets annoyed with or slight changes, like dying their hair. This can be pretty cute if written correctly, like wearing more bows because the s/o loves it when the yandere wears cute things, but it can also be pretty horrific, like if the s/o prefers girls and the yandere attempts to chop his dick off (I’m looking at you, y0urb0yfriend), but it really depends on the extent of the yandere’s desperation. I see this a lot with mangas that include traps/crossdressers, like in Hatsukoi Lovers, but this can also just apply to a situation like an s/o preferring shy smart guys and a delinquent yandere dressing up and learning more things to become more like his s/o’s preference. Feigning weakness is also another factor that desperate yanderes tend to deploy, though this is much more manipulative. This is especially if the s/o is already used to taking care of the yandere, or is very empathetic over anyone who needs help. Feigning weakness can be pretty easy for a yandere, just by simply acting dumb or pretending to be physically ill. Usually, the weakness is only feigned in front of the s/o and with everyone else, he acts “normally” as respects to his personality. Desperate yanderes tend to fake weakness like this, especially illness so that they can sort of trap the s/o into caring for them, and it allows them to spend more time together. However, this is a lot riskier than the other two actions, simply because if the s/o learns that the yandere has been faking their illness/acting dumb, they might not want to hang out with them, especially if their entire personality is around this idea. After that, the yandere might go to more desperate measures. A good example of this is from Kiss him, not me, where Takeru Mitsuboshi feigns sickness in front of Serinuma just so that she will take care of him, and when that fails, he decides to kidnap her instead.  Finally, there’s the direst of actions which are self-harm or the threat of self-harm. This can be similar to overcompensating in some cases, where they overwork themselves to exhaustion or do something dangerous for the s/o, like sticking their hand in boiling water to pick up their s/o’s dropped bracelet. Usually, the lack of regard for their own safety is from their self-confidence in some manner, like not caring about their own body because the s/o’s things are more important, or not even registering the fact that they did hurt themselves since they don’t care for their own well being in the first place. Usually the threat of self-harm comes from when a desperate yandere is at their breaking point, which we’ll talk about in a bit and the actual use of self-harm might come as their own punishment for not being good enough for the s/o, or trying to destroy themselves because they just feel so worthless without them. It also is similar to how Yuri feels with it from DDLC, like a way to feel alive or get on a high. In a worst-case scenario, a desperate yandere might even attempt to have a murder-suicide with the s/o.
I think out of all yanderes, desperate yanderes are the most horrific. While yanderes that are ruthless, manipulative or cold-hearted are in their own sense pretty scary, what makes desperate yanderes truly horrifying is the unstable nature of their emotions and the sympathy you feel towards them. Because of their unstable nature and the fact that they are very afraid of upsetting their s/o, it feels a lot of the times like they might break at any second if you do something wrong, almost like walking on a tight rope. But I think what makes them really horrifying and tragic is their snapping point. While a yandere’s snapping point is the most interesting part of the story, a lot of times it feels very sudden and out of the blue. Even if a yandere has a very clear build-up to this snapping point, it tends to be behind the s/o’s back, so when they do snap, it feels more sudden towards the s/o, or that it’s rather obvious that the yandere is about to snap because of their creepy behaviors. With a desperate yandere, the implication is usually that they will snap, we just don’t know when. With the huge amount of pressure on a desperate yandere trying to please their s/o, the sudden whiplash of fear to anger or sudden sadness can be something that feels like it could be prevented but wasn’t. The sympathy also makes it more terrifying in a psychological way, since in a lot of cases, desperate yanderes are just trying to make somebody happy and failing so much that they don’t have any reason to live. Which is, in my opinion, incredibly sad, since I think to some degree most people can understand trying so hard at something only to fail and feel like they’re worthless.
While not all yanderes are desperate yanderes, a lot of them have a breaking point where they display vulnerability, and in which many of them show their more desperate side. If during their breaking point, they have a desperate moment, it gives the character a moment of weakness and vulnerability as well as gain sympathy from the audience. This especially if the yandere is a character who is generally always in control or is really cruel, by creating this moment of vulnerability, it may make the yandere at least a little more likeable or at least we can be empathetic with the reasons that they perform certain actions, even if we don’t agree with it. A show of vulnerability may also help to better show what a character is feeling internal, especially if there are hints of possible reasons for this vulnerability within the story. A good example of this would be JD from Heathers, where we learn that his mother commits suicide and his father has been neglectful since. While in the beginning, we see how he deals with these issues, freezing his brain with slushies, we don’t really see him vulnerable, at least until the song Meant to be Yours, with the lines: “Veronica, can we night fight any more please// Can we not fight anymore?// Veronica, I know you’re scared, I’ve been there, I can set you free.” where we can see more about how lonely he’s been and how scared he must have been throughout his life. Even if the actions he does are wrong, (like killing three people and then trying to kill the entire school, which ya know is pretty terrible) we can see him in a more empathetic lens of why he would perform all of these terrible things. (By the way, those verses are probably my favorite lines in the entire musical okay moving on) A show of vulnerability can also be used to create a redeemed yandere or to show a satisfying end to a villainous one. Obviously, this depends more on the actions of the yandere in question and what kind of story the yandere is in, but a break down of a yandere can either help them become redeemed or can serve as payment for villainous actions. If the yandere is a redeemed one, then he will most likely break down and start to understand how to better treat the s/o in a less obsessive manner. The breakdown usually serves as the lowest point of a yandere’s story, having lost so much that at this point he realizes that his goal cannot be achieved. Because of this, it may become a way for him to realize his wrongdoings and work to achieve a better self. On the opposite side, if a villainous yandere has been stripped of all of his power, his breakdown may be a satisfying conclusion to all of the horrible things that he’s done, akin to beating a boss in a game. This show of vulnerability may instead make his loss seem more like a victory and karma to all the terrible things he’s done.
Anyways, those are my thoughts on desperate yandere. I have got to stop writing these two days before I post these.

When you said we could send nameless asks I got so happy. Its time to give some love to this amazing game. Can I request Lance, yeonbae & nameless fluff headcanons? Thank you so much you're doing an amazing job ;v;
Yup! I write for nameless too! I’m glad you’re happy! It really is it’s a great game I don’t know if you mean nameless the character or all the others, but I kinda feel like writing for all of them, so you get some bonus characters
spoilers under the cut
Also I’m calling the MC Eri here and using She/her pronouns, let me know if you want me to change that
Lance:
He loves instrumental music.
He’d never admit it, but occasionally he’d hang back after school to listen to Yuri playing piano in the music room because it really comforts him some how
He likes listening while he studies
Obviously has really well organized notes and good handwriting
Good at math, but less good at history and literature so would love to study with Eri and would love if she could help him out where he struggled
Not a huge fan of hugging or cuddling, but he likes holding hands
He has a sweet tooth, though he’d never admit it
Yeonho:
It’s a given, but this boy really loves cuddling
He just loves sitting on the couch wrapped up in warm blankets, even in the summer, and being close to Eri
Loves being read to
Likes listening to music
He hums while cooking a lot
Would love to make breakfast for Eri (obviously) but also loves cooking with her for the others
Tei:
Loves spooning with Eri
Always the big spoon
Loves reading to Eri, even if she can read fine on her own
Likes to help Eri study and be helpful over all
Loves handholding
He’s that guy that everyone is shocked likes cuddling and he really does
Likes carrying Eri around
Red:
He loves going to the park
Loves looking at the sky
His favorite part about being at the park is seeing all the pets and seeing how happy everyone is there
He’s so nice to everyone, he genuinely just wants to help everyone around him
Loves having his hair played with while cuddling
Loves cuddling in general
Hand holding is another must
Piggy back rides are a constant, especially when you’re late for something
He’s a very heavy sleeper
It’s also impossible to get him to fall asleep
He gets so excited when he’s woken up to breakfast in bed. He loves it so much.
Yuri:
Constantly flirts, but after a while (and learning what all of that means and stuff) only with Eri
Super sweet
He hates reading and math equally but math is better for him
he’s not above being manipulative to protect those he cares about
Even though he teases, he really does care about all of them. His family wouldn’t feel complete without everyone in their home
Nameless:
Loves cuddling
also has a sweet tooth
I can imagine his face right now the first time he tastes ice cream or chocolate or something
loves warm drinks like coffee or tea
Pretty clingy with Eri, especially around the other dolls
Doesn’t like being around the others. They make him nervous, not so much that they’d hurt Eri or anything, but that they’d take her away if he let her out of his sight and he’d never be able to see her again
He has major abandonment issues
 easily emotional
At first would only eat or drink something if Eri made it and wouldn’t leave her side, but he learned to relax some around the others, but is still really tense
