What I find ridiculous is posts saying that Nancy suffers from being in a love triangle because it reduces her to a love interest because girl what?? Nancy is the character that suffers the least from the love triangle! She heads an investigative storyline every season! She leads it! If anything Jonathan and Steve suffer from the love triangle the most - their storylines are about Nancy and their relationship to her instead of literally anything else. Like Jonathan is a self proclaimed loner and it would have been cool if he was learning to be friends with Argyle instead of them already having an established friendship! And with Steve, his storyline could have been learning that he is smart, just in a different way and to stop being self deprecating of himself! I just find it so weird that people think Nancy is reduced to being a love interest by the love triangle when she's the one least trapped by it.

I also find it fascinating that with ro/nance is seen as what Nancy deserves, the boys are not good enough for her, but Robin is good enough for her. Because it removes Robin from the equation and Robin is a main enough character that we should consider if Nancy is good for her. Like she feels insecure in rambling and that fact that Vickie does it too, is so reassuring for her. Meanwhile, Nancy is annoyed at Robin while she's rambling and she makes it extremely clear to her and she never really sees Robin as a peer while investigating but like her assistant, at least I see parallels in the way Nancy treats Fred and Robin.

honestly this is sooo hilarious how people say that considering SHES THE ONE WHO STARTED THE LOVE TRIANGLE!!!!! like sure jonathan and steve both love her however all she had to do was be with jonathan and say that she doesn't want to be with steve! LIKE SHE KNEW THT DECSION FOR A WHILE YET SHE STAYED WITH STEVE!! so it's honestly insane that people says she suffers the most meanwhile she's the sole person making descions in this love triangle. but yeah like nancy suffers the least because she geniunely has other plot lines - steve and jonathan don't really anymore. or something that's not solely based on their love story - like we could have had so many scenes with steve and any of his friends this season but we didn't cuz we had to go through this love triangle again. meanwhile nancy has sooooo many plot lines this season and every season before (its soooo funny how people say she got reduced to a love interest this season because SHES the main OP this season with all the leader and investigation and soldier roles she plays in season 4) legit she;s the least one who is least trapped by it - if she's trapped by anything in the narrative its because the narrative sees her as right all the time and doesn't let her see her wrongdoings and develop from that.

with the ro/nance like all of this! honestly robin gets treated like a side piece/sidekick in this own ship!! like she's the one who actually likes girls in canon and yet she's somehow disregarded in this ship MAKE IT MAKE SENSE! yeah same like i high key see the parallels between how nancy treats robin and fred - because interesting how these were the two pairings for nancy's investigations and it leads to her getting annoyed at them but then talking about her problems with jonathan. which legit why didn't see go to cali? that makes no sense thinking about it

fucking.. okay. i feel like the ending did a super good job of wrapping up loose ends and finishing the story as a whole.. its one of those series where like i WANT more content but thats where the story ends and it makes sense! i feel like everyones character arc wrapped up too as well even if... with CERTAIN characters it messed me up.....but they all rounded out and i dont feel like anyone was ignored in favor of anyone else. its definitely.. complete. like esp w eiffel i feel like his character specifically w the memories being erased was the ONLY way he could move past what hed done and even tho it was super fucking sad he had his friends and stuff with him to help and.. AH... the using the first names thing now DEFINITELY. hurt. also shoutout to kepler for deciding to be good at the last possible fucking second just do die doing what he loved (being a little bitch) etc etc... although jacobi losing his whole family and not ever realizing that kepler was on his side at the end SPECIFICALLY after he gave him one more chance to be good hurt like. a bitch. and the flashbacks also killed me i WASNT expecting that.. but they did a super good job of tying all of their beginnings back to the end and showing how far everyone had come. really bittersweet......... aslo i really thought jacobi died for a second when they didnt fucking say anything and that scared me BUT. yeah everyone who died at the end deserved to i think so thats nice. i havent like FINISHED finished a series in literal years so im like super sad now but. honestly one of the best and most complete & satisfying stories ive ever heard (listened to??) and im really really glad i did and now im really emotional soooo thank u wolf im gnna go lie down again

I was in a car accident in March 2008 in a parking lot. The insurance companies BOTH decided that we were 50/50 at fault for the accident. During this process I kept getting phone calls asking me to verify WHY a person not on my policy was driving my car at the time of the accident. Wisdom Teeth Today

So I had my oral surgery appointment today and I can say I’m super glad to have it over with.  I’m in pain but super glad the nervousness running up to it is done and tht now I can just sorta cope.  They ended up pulling more teeth than anticipated because with the 2 partial extractions (medicaid -_-) I had to pay for out of pocket, the rest of them were within the medicaid benefit limit.  So that was good.  Painful but good.  They didn’t actually sedate me because apparently with my airways (i mean I do have sleep apnea so I get it) they were nervous about my not being able to breathe on my own, so they just gave me SOMETHING in the IV (also not being able to drink anything = hard to get IV) and numbed me up good and did it while I was awake.  I’ve got 3-4 days of the “good” stuff for pain + the Rx strength Ibuprofen and an antibiotic and I’m p. much good to go, just following instructions to make sure I don’t have any recovery complications.

More detailed musings and discussion of tooth work & post-surgery ick underneath the cut.

So first thing- He told me that they were going to make me feel really drunk with the IV stuff but honestly I feel like it was nothing.  I guess maybe I was more on-edge afterward / prone to crying (I did cry during the surgery bc the strain of having my mouth open + the unsettling sound of the saw & the crunching of teeth just set me off, and then I cried a few times bc my partner was freaking me out) but I def. didn’t feel drunk or anything.  Thankfully the anti-nausea med they gave me worked though because I wasn’t looking forward to that prospect.

Also can we talk about the fucking noises?  The surgeon called them “bad sounds” and one of the nurses said that she thinks that the noises are one of the main things people have real trouble with, and I agree with her.  Cuz YIKES.  I think that alone was sending my blood pressure up!

Oh yeah and also apparently whichever nurse prepped the IV bag in the room didn’t do it quite right because she got distracted by an urgent need in the active surgery room, and the whole line was full of air.  The Doc was PISSED as shit but he also did notice it when he was trying to inject saline into the line or something, so thankfully I didn’t die of being pumped full of air.  Like I know this should probably REALLY freak me out but I can’t be bothered, especially since it was caught before it became an issue.

I thought he was really going to go off on her but he clearly has good management skills because he said what was wrong, why it was a big issue and why it can’t happen again, and then let her know that he still values her and that she does a good job.  The way he was swearing before she came in I really thought he was gonna let her have it.

ANYWAY of course I’m the type of person who finds interpersonal office relationships more interesting than the actual surgery but my personal “findings” that are probably news to nobody who’s had any major dental work is that I’m surprised at how “violent” dental work can be and that my fucking jaw hurts soooo effin bad.  I bled for a good bit but clotted up nicely so now it’s just that oozy blood that is so commonplace that it’s right there on the aftercare sheet.  I did some icing (20 mins on 20 mins off) in hopes of minimizing the inevitable swelling, and I’m already fucking craving crunchy food because I absolutely cannot have it, and I’m hungry for something more solid than the milkshakes I’e had today.  Tomorrow I will be making a more concerted effort to at least make sure I get enough food calorically.  

All in all I’m so far thankful that the pain is not as bad as it could be, and hoping that my recovery is quick.
