hey, i uh. i just came back and, the response i got, for that 4-panels, not-even-close-to-a-beginning of an animatic,, i’m just. speechless.

i made sure to read all the reblogs, the comments, all the tags. you guys are some of the sweetest people i’ve ever seen, what the hell <3

your giant wave of feedback and responses made my entire week. i don’t know how to properly show you just how absolutely amazing you all made me feel, so instead i’m gonna answer some questions i’ve seen.

Hey yeah so what is this from?

the lines Roman is signing come from a soundtrack from La La Land, called A Lovely Night. I saw the cover Thomas and Ben J. Pierce made roughly 8 months ago, and kinda fell in love with it. i’m basing my animatic on the cover version. Thomas’ voice for Roman, Ben’s for Virgil. here’s the link :

one thing’s for sure, i really, really want to. the entirety of the scene is printed in my head and i see it every time i listen to the song, and it just doesn’t help that the song is also always stuck in my darn head. 

I know the song is like the total opposite of what could be considered shippy but is there hope that the animatic is still gonna be shippy?
