I gotta tell you there are too many books in the world and not enough time to read them all. I got an ereader for Christmas and a friend told me about LibGen, so now I have A HUNDRED ebooks. Which, as someone who already has 30 unread physical books in her house, and also the inability to make a decision on what to read next, this is not a great development. I have given myself too many choices! I broadened my horizons too much!! Send help!!!

OH GOD I FEEL YOU! getting an ebook reader truly upped my reading game. it's just so easy to take along on commutes or vacation and since i am a BIG mood reader having a great number of options to choose my next read from is important—especially in situations in which i can't travel with several physical books in tow. i can promise you, though, after you get use to having so many options you'll get the hang of balancing physical and digital books. it's overwhelming at first but i am sure you'll adapt just fine :) wishing you lots of fun with your next reads <3

Not as much as he does the boys. April's pretty good about having her own fun, she's got a family to go back to, she can separate herself when she needs to. She can handle herself!

Noted 👀 Though I don't read fanfic very often because I'm. Usually too busy writing it. fhgdkjgf I'm already behind on stuff I want to read. I will put it on my List.

Leo's least favorite is math, he finds it boring as all hell. Raph's least favorite is chemistry. He cannot get any of it right for the life of him. He accidentally made mustard gas once and from then on Donnie was paired with him to make sure that didn't happen again. Mikey's is history! He has a hard time just sitting still and listening. Donnie's least favorite is the mystic arts. He thinks it's unnecessary for him, because he doesn't have a mystic weapon.

Ghost just tells them he's going to teach them something today and they pretty much all show up. If they miss a day, he doesn't scold them about it or anything, he just lets them miss it. If they don't understand something because of it later, he can just teach it to them again. Normally they don't miss more than a day at a time, and if they do there's usually something else going on. Ghost is homeschooling them, and it's not like they're going to college. The point is learning, not to make them suffer when they don't feel like it. ;)

Splinter was giving the boys an education! He taught them colors, and alphabets, and how to read, how to clean, how to take care of themselves. Splinter taught them a lot, and Ghost knows that. He's not mad for Splinter focusing on the more practical things and less on the academic side.

Ghost is still kinda active with the homeless community. He doesn't talk to them, or really show himself at all, but he drops off blankets and clothes he finds when scavenging.

Ghost doesn't know about Don stealing from ATMs at the moment! He won't mind it, though. He's not hurting anyone but big banks by doing it.

Oh you think Ghost's self-blame and self-hatred is bad now? NOTHING compared to what it would be if he'd fallen into Rise after experiencing SAINW. He knows what's going to happen to his brothers. He knows he disappeared, and that the world ended because of it. He'd work a lot harder. I don't think he'd pay any attention to the kids, honestly, I think he'd be neck-deep in making a portal, trying everything, retrying it.

Ghost has accepted that he's stuck in his dimension. Donatello would not.

Phantom is far less scarred than Ell. He still has the leather jacket because I feel like he deserves a leather jacket. Ghost doesn't have the scar over his eye because of Phantom. When Ghost disappeared to the Battle Nexus to try and find answers, Phantom immediately started looking for him. Ghost had only meant to go for a day, but was trapped by Big Mama and forced to fight. Phantom found him and pulled him out of there before he ever got the scar.

Oh 03 Donatello is completely destroyed. He blames himself entirely. He works all the time to get his lost brother back. Ell and Spirit don't blame Donny, but Mike does a bit. It's easier to be mad at someone than the universe.

Hello again!! Saw your response to my last ask and uhhh guess I’m getting kinda predictable huh 😅? I’m sorry if it bothers or annoys you, I just like consistent communication with the people I like so like I always try to do that cause reassurance is important to me so I want the other person to feel reassured too you know? Your works hitting over 200 notes is an amazing accomplishment you should be so proud of yourself and if you’re not pls know that I am. yeah i know he said that, what's why i found his behaviour so odd. he was saying how he thinks george doesn't try that hard, and in last night's stream george was genuinely try-harding, and dream kept sabotaging him it was just v weird. like i know ofc dream doesn't mean it, he praises george to the high heavens haha. but it just wasn't like very fun to watch him be like that when george was trying so hard to win :')

yeah this is always why i try my best to word myself carefully because i don't want to sit here and preach like i know what george is feeling. i don't need to defend george from his own friends and i have no plans of doing that :') but i am allowed to say how i, as a viewer, feel about what i saw and how i would feel in the situation! :) us getting a little upset about how george was treated is not the same as us going 'uwu gogy i wish i could hug him that was so mean dream is awful booooooo'.. it was just an unfair situation, and regardless we're allowed to project, and people are allowed to agree or disagree. we can all just discuss it in a calm manner :)

yeah karl seems to be super busy atm, i've not seen him open up minecraft in forever i feel like! that would be the most hilarious team in existence oh my god i would love that :')

yeah it can get very frustrating. not babying george should not mean you can insult him and put a joking or lighthearted tone indicator behind it. i feel like george's 'pretty privilege' is a double-edged sword. it feels like most people know him now for being the pretty one and a lot of people act like that's all there is. george fans get ridiculed a lot because people think we just watch him cause he's attractive. which is like??? why would i sit there for 2-3 hours of a stream just to look at someone's face? i literally sometimes just put on his calm solo streams in the background because i find his vibe relaxing, i don't even watch it. why would i do that if i only liked him for his face? he's not even my type anyway :'))) i just appreciate that he's a beautiful beautiful man, but i would never waste my time to watch someone just because of what they look like.

in general, people need to remember that these streamers are real people with feelings. and their job is on the internet, so they spend a lot of time on social media, and if you write a nasty comment about them, there actually is a high chance they will see it. i wish people just stayed respectful, and realised that their words carry weight :)

yeah i think they struggle a LOT with streaming etiquette. i feel like after all this time, they are aware of how people perceive them (after having to point out several times that george can take a joke that it's not that serious etc etc) they know that people get a little upset at these things. i get maybe like in the moment if they're really high strung or just frustrated, they just do what they do and don't think about the fact that over 100k people are witnessing them do it. which yeah, i think sometimes their arguments or disagreements get too personal - and they are friends so they are fine with it, but we don't know their thought process, we don't know them the way they know each other, so we just see what's on the surface. and on the surface it often looks like a negative situation, and people get either worried or upset or frustrated.

because here's the thing - we watch streams to enjoy ourselves. george is my favourite streamer, and my idea of enjoyment isn't to see him trying hard to win at something and his friends sabotaging him, getting in the way and acting like he's incapable of achieving something by himself :') and a toxic vibe is just no fun to watch. i get that that's their friendship and like i'm not saying they should change anything about it - but there's nothing wrong with us venting, with expressing ourselves and releasing our frustrations. we are all allowed to feel different things. just because i'm not a fan of how george was treated, doesn't mean i'm trying to baby him. if i was babying him, i'd be @'ing dream and co on twitter and demanding he apologise lmao. saying i think it was unfair of them to say george was being carried when george was doing fine on his own is not the equivalent of babying someone.

Peter Parker x Reader

Summary: part 2 of Snow. Peter Parker has to find Doc Ock and stop him from using the blood. For @petersshirts challenge.

Peter woke up suddenly. He sat up and the room spun. Sunlight streamed through the window blinds and Peter instantly knew he over slept. Doc Ock could have done anything with his blood by now.

You shuffled in your sleep and pressed your head into his chest. His heart constricted an how soft and vulnerable you looked. You trusted him completely and Peter never felt he deserved it. He hated to wake you but gently shook your shoulder.

"Peter," you said groggily. You rubbed your eyes. They felt heavy and swollen from crying. The night before finally connected and flooded your mind. You grabbed Peter tightly around the waist. Your heart pounded in fear.

"Its okay, baby. You're okay," Peter said softly. "I hate to do this, but I have to stop Doc Ock. Who knows what he could do with my blood?"

"Oh, okay. I understand," you said letting him go. Peter slowly stood and grabbed his Spider-Man outfit to pull it on. You turned as he shrugged off his sweats and put it on. Peter looked at his phone furiously.

"I don't know if it's good or bad that there's no news," he said running a hand through his hair. You could see his mind moving fast.

"I hope that's good news. Maybe Mr Stark can help you," you suggested standing up. Peter scowled.

"I can talk to him if I need to. I'm going to go back to the scene for clues. Are you okay? Do you need to stay with aunt May?" Peter asked knowing your family wasn't close by. You shook your head.

"Peter, be safe," you said holding his face. He smiled softly. "I'll be waiting."

"O-Okay," he said wrapping his arms around your waist. "I'll be fine." Peter kissed you softly. He pulled away and grabbed his mask.

"I'll be back later. Just- just be safe, okay?" Peter said climbing out the window. You heart pounded but you nodded.

Peter swung across the city. Thank God Mr Stark put a heater in the suit as snow frosted everything. It made it hard for the web's to stick and a few times Peter slipped and had to shoot another web to catch himself.

He arrived at the top of the building Doc Ock had held you. Other than a few pricks in the metal from his claws, it was hard to tell anything happened.

"Karen, analyze the scene," Peter said.

"Activating Dronie." The small bug flew around the roof scanning everything. "Blood is detected. Analyzing DNA. From Peter Parker. It is your blood, Peter."

"The blood spilled?" Peter asked softly. His whole body relaxed. How much blood? "Doc Ock has 4 extra arms and can't catch my throw."

"It is approximately 4 ml in volume."

"How much is in a blood vial?"

"10 ml in the standard blood vial."

"Crap. That's less than half. How much blood is needed to test?"

"Most tests take 1 to 2.5 ml. A standard vial of 10 ml can easily be taken for standard testing according to American Medical Association," Karen said.

"If he has all 6 ml not lost... he could do so many tests. I hate to do it, but I need Mr Stark's help. Call Tony Stark," Peter said resigned.

"Pete, I don't really have time for this. I'm a little busy planning a wedding," Tony answered.

"Its important. Its about Doc Ock."

"Meet me at the tower in 20."

Peter paced the entry of the first floor. He had gotten to the building in 6 minutes. He wanted to pull off the mask but was waiting until Tony got there and they went somewhere private.

"Okay, Spider-Man, let's go to my office," Tony said walking in. Peter followed him to the elevator. "So what has Octo done now?"

Peter pulled off his mask. "He threw a pole into a cafe I was at and when I was helping people out, he kidnapping my girlfriend. She's okay. I got her back. But Doc got some of my blood first. About 6 ml. And I don't know what to do."

"Uh okay. That's a lot. Did you check the scene? Traffic cams?"

"I didn't think of traffic cams," Peter admitted. Tony pulled up the footage on a screen. His eyebrows raised as he watched the scene in front of him. "You should have definitely called me earlier. She could have died. How is she?"

"She's scared. I've got to stop him before he gets her again," Peter confessed.

"I'm calling Happy to pick her up. We don't need to worry about any one but Octo right now," Tony said texting Happy Hogan.

The footage continued and Tony hopped throughout street cameras and atm cameras to follow the many limbed man. Finally they see him crawl through a window 5 stories up in an office building.

"I guess we found our guy," Tony said.

You never expected to have Happy Hogan to be at your apartment. You only knew who he was from Peter talking all about Mr Stark and the tower. Even though Peter had super powers he never felt like an Avenger. He was just Peter.

Happy Hogan squinted as he looked at your door. He wasn't sure this was the right apartment. You quickly threw a hoodie on an answered the door.

"Hello?"

"Are you Y/n? Peter Parker's girlfriend?" Happy asked.

"I am."

"I'm supposed to take you to the tower for your safety. Peter was supposed to call you," he said. Your phone rang and you saw a text from Peter saying what Happy said.

"Okay, let me get my stuff," you said grabbing your backpack and coat. Finals were coming up soon.

"Another one with a backpack. I see why you date Spider-Boy. The car is over here," he motioned towards the left of the building.

You settled in the back of the limo. You didn't want to seem new to all if this but you couldn't help but look around at everything. Happy rolled up the blind separating the front from the back and the ride was silent. Until you were halfway to the tower.

You were jolted across the cab and the car spun until it stopped. You panted and looked out the window thinking it was a car accident. Happy called out from the front seat. "Are you okay, kid?"

"Y-yeah, what happened?" You asked sitting. The door to the back seat was ripped open and you shrieked in horror. Doc Ock climbed in the backseat as you crawled away. You pulled your taser from your backpack and zapped him on the chest.

His claws ripped at the seat and he roared in pain. "You little-"

He was ripped from the car. You gasped and looked to see Peter attempting to use his webs to hold Doc Ock down. "Not. A. Good. Way. To talk. To girls. Man."

Doc easily snipped the webs and grabbed Peter tightly around the waist. Peter tried to web to the building and use leverage to pull away but the webs didn't stick in the heavy snow. "Come on dude!"

You shrieked as Peter was drug up the building. His hands dug into the metal and he groaned as it tightened around him. Suddenly a white yellow light flashed across the claw holding Peter and Doc Ock shrieked and dropped him.

Peter shot webs at the buildings but they didn't stick as he plummeted towards the ground. Finally he hooked around a lamp post and only his legs scrapped the pavement. Peter groaned and slipped to the ground. You raced to him and pulled his mask off.

"In fine. I'm fine," Peter waved off.

Iron man was fighting Doc Ock. A piece came off his suit and wrapped around 2 of the claws and bound them close. Doc immediately used the other claws to try and hack at the device. Iron man released another device to wrap Doc Ock up. "Two for one sale today, Octo," Tony said.

Happy ran to you and Peter. "Are you okay?" He asked. Peter nodded and tried to stand up. "No way," Happy said holding Peter down.

"But Mr Stark needs-"

"No he doesn't," Happy said as iron man wrapped up Doc Ock. The police were arriving on scene.

You looked at his suit as Happy helped Peter to a Stark car that followed Tony. There were bloody cuts around Peter's ribs and he didn't want to put weight on his left leg. You climbed in the back seat with him. Out the window you could see iron man taking Doc Ock away.

"Where are they taking him?" Peter asked.

"A supermax enhanced persons prison. They'll probably see if they can remove the claws first," Happy answered.

Peter sat back in the seat as Happy drove towards the tower. Peter turned to you softly and wrapped his arms around your neck. You softly hugged him back avoiding his cuts.

"How did you know that Doc would attack?" You asked confused.

"Spidey sense went off and I was coming to your apartment when I saw him. I actually jumped out the window while talking to Mr Stark. He was wearing welding gear so it took him a minute to get here. What did you do to Doc before I grabbed him?" Peter asked.

"I tased him. I didn't expect it to work," you smiled.

"You... tased Doc Ock? ....Wow. You could have been killed," Peter said concerned.

"So could you," you said grabbing his face. Peter looked at you deeply and wrapped his hands around your. You leaned in and kissed him. His lips were cold from the weather. His hands slid to behind your head and into your hair. The kiss deeper before you heard a fake cough.

You had both forgotten about Happy driving. You broke apart and you hid your face in Peter's shoulder. Peter laughed nervously.

"Sorry, Happy."

"Yeah, yeah. Just wait until we're back at the tower and I don't gave to be a witness."

"What about my blood?" Peter asked nervously when Tony Stark got back to the tower.

"It was in his lab. He was running tests on it. Luckily last year when they arrested him, they took all of his equipment. He acquired it back but had to settle for out of date stuff to not get noticed, probably. So thankfully it was pretty slow and he didn't get anything of any importance. Except your blood type," Tony smiled.

Peter visibly relaxed. "Oh great, Mr Stark."

"Why don't we talk about where you live. Why don't we move you and the girlfriend in the tower? It'll be a lot safer," Tony suggested.

"Oh,... I don't know... uh, I think we're okay. Nothing happened at the apartment. But thanks a lot," Peter said. Tony nodded. This wasn't the first time Peter had turned him down.

"Offer stands. I'll let you get home."

Peter nodded before grabbing your hand. "Thanks Mr Stark."
