Stuck in that horrible place in DA fandom where you both have gripes with a game and great appreciation for it. Why is it that everyone refuses to see nuance or write balanced takes it's always so one-sided I am losing my mind.

#i don't mean to vague post and usually it's fine I just raise my brow and move on #and most of the fandom meta is so good and interesting but other times I'm like #bro did you even play the game or did someone tell you about it and you formed your opinions from that #because it feels like the latter #(that's for the critical crowd anyway)#but yeah also the positive crowd does fall into headcanon territory to justify things sometimes too #and i desperately want to believe that the game actually does those things but it doesn't #it's really not cut and dry #i am reading every codex entry this run to try and expand my understanding though #still can't believe they did that with the qunari (and by that I mean nothing)#rip shathann you were so great actually
