Ya ever do smth that feels like tossing a bat at a hornet's nest

That's me re: the situation in my last post & me assigning a cleaning task to this girl jdkshfks. Like I don't WANT to. I hate assigning cleaning tasks in general. But all non-management (or management adjacent, in my case) are given assignments (unless they're REALLY new employees), so the manager specified that she was to be included in it.

And I can already imagine her reaction. She's gonna b pissed.

#speculation nation #for context she was an assistant manager b4 she got sick of it and stepped down #and im essentially her replacement kinda which 🤷‍♂️ whoops but w/e #i purposefully gave her a task that was a: not too hard. & b: not a big deal if it doesnt get done #bc imma b real i dont think shes gonna do it lol #shes gonna get super huffy that hes having her do cleaning assignments again when shes already working so much #(cleaning assignments are Supposed to be done during shifts tho)#im hoping she doesnt get mad at Me bc shes in general pretty friendly with me #in largest part bc i continuously do extra to help out & also ive given her my mcdonald's apple pies a few times #oo and the one time i got her a mcchicken when i left & came back to do inventory or w/e #but yea shes not gonna b happy and im just like 😬 i tried to make this the least awful it could be #tbh im a real pushover when it comes to cleaning tasks lol i really hate being mean about them #bc i know how hard it is to get them done during shifts #so i include a clause in the message saying to message me for possible extensions if they cant make it in time #(tho if they dont do that either i kinda havent done anything still bc whoops im a fucking wuss when it comes to this stuff)#im not the mean manager im the way too nice manager who just wants to help everyone who is pressured into being mean by The Boss #(except im still not mean lol i will always be very forgiving of circumstances if they r explained)
