pls ramble about anything you wanna for the prandy kids au i love it there
YAY thank you for willfully walking into my trap bc I'm just like *vibrates* about them and I haven't even delved into the other kids yet lmao. Which is what I meant to do in this post, but only really ended up talking about the Prandy girls with a little teaser about the Pleo girls at the bottom, oops.
Perri, despite being the oldest and heading up the next gen as a whole, does not initially come off as necessarily that much of a threat. Because the thing is that she's very peppy and fun and friendly and doesn't necessarily feel the need to go off hunting demons like others might, but like. She received the most thorough training as a kid and is the first daughter of the entire generation, so it always seems to surprise demons when she starts wrecking people's shit. Because some characters seem to stay the same person when their dangerousness is revealed, but Perri shifts from this outgoing and kind person to someone nearly unrecognizable into someone fully 110% intent on eradicating the threat to the point that it can be a little scary for someone to see her transform like this.
On a lighter note, Perri adores literally anything to do with art, like she will be the first person to drag someone to an exhibit or gallery or something. While Presley and Pamela aren't as invested in art the same way as Perri, the three can spend hours at a single painting, which makes it nearly insufferable for anyone else to go with them. Perri just enjoys the art and considering it from nearly every angle possible, while Presley will just observe all of the details and share them with her sisters, and Pamela is interested in the emotion of it all, like how it's invoked and the echoes she gets from its past.
I mentioned that she was working in fashion, but she's probably currently like an assistant right now. It's a bit hectic for her, but she loves the rush and the business of it all. She just loves being surrounded by art and creativity in whatever way she can be. If she had a transformation, I feel like Perri would end up as a Muse. She was definitely voted best dressed in high school and her outfits are always on point with just this super cohesive aesthetic.
Despite not being nearly as social as her sisters, Presley is really good at knowing what's going on with people because of her observation tendencies and being able to literally stop to see the smallest expressions on people's faces. That's actually why she's pretty close with Coop, who can relate to the way she's able to use her powers. While Presley isn't a very lovey type of person, she actually has helped Coop with charges before. (It was uncle and niece bonding! Coop likes getting to spend time with his nieces and Presley liked getting to see what other magical beings' jobs entail, along with spending time with her uncle.)
I mentioned in a follow-up post, but Presley is actually closest with her dad and uncles. She's just very practical but also likes being able to get involved the ways that they kind of let her. Leo taught her some stuff about fixing up cars while she kind of became this cool figure for some of Henry's younger charges to be a bit of a role model to them somehow. When Piper did accounting for the restaurant, however, Presley liked seeing how that worked (and actually minored in accounting in university), and she loved learning self-defense from Phoebe.
For awhile, Presley considered becoming a journalist since Prue ended up working as a photojournalist and Phoebe as a columnist at the Bay Mirror but eventually decided against it. Elise still serves as a form of mentor to her though. It's kind of funny because Presley really isn't that social but has some interesting connections that she's able to leverage.
Pamela is an interesting character in that it's really hard to dig out her real personality. She's so driven and intelligent, but it's almost entirely obscured by how lost she is in her own head. I've kind of implied it, but here's some explicit confirmation that in a story about the Prandy girls, a big plot would be the way that Pamela's kind of... letting her powers consume her? She just doesn't often feel connected to her physical body and is halfway experiencing the world through others' emotions, thoughts, dreams, etc. It's not great, and it's something that poses a serious threat to actually - not killing her necessarily but more like severing her connection with reality. She can see the past, present, and future but isn't really experiencing the present the way that she should.
Eventually, Pamela does want to go back to school because she has this deep love of learning but no idea what direction to point it in besides magic. Honestly, I like the idea of her doing something with computers or web design maybe, just a very sharp contrast to the artsy psychic vibe she had but we'll see where she eventually ends up. Currently though, she's working in a witch shop owned by an older woman who takes on this mentorish role to her. Is she good or evil? Don't know yet, we'll see.
Fuck, this is so long now, but I've really been dying to talk about Prose and Petra. Okay, I'll keep this super short as kind of a teaser about those two. (Update: "super short," she said, this is now two paragraphs but whatever.) So, like I said in the outline post of the AU, Piper ended up trapped in this plane between life or death when she was pregnant with Prose. The thing about that though is that the pregnancy is "a life growing where one is not meant to exist," as I said in the outline. Piper should've lost the pregnancy, if it wasn't for this mysterious woman named Proserpina who gave Piper herbs or a tonic or something made from her garden with her magic to keep the baby. As a result, Piper kept the pregnancy but being on that plane affected how Prose and her magic developed in the womb. An idea that I've played with around with Chris before but am able to explore a lot more with Prose is that fact that she's death-touched witch, which has... implications.
As for Petra, she ends up with the kind of opposite effect. That tonic that Piper took was to create and sustain life when one was not meant to exist, so, years later, it actually influences her second pregnancy as well with Petra's magic. There is a reason that I initially wanted to name her Persephone, and there is a reason that Prose's first name is Proserpina, lemme put it like that.
#charmed#asks#perri halliwell#presley halliwell#pamela halliwell#prose halliwell#petra halliwell#prandy kids au#non canon next gen#y'know who i still havent even said a single fucking word about? the demon witchlighter twins or phoebe and coop's daughter#i still barely even got into prose who i already adore lmao#i didnt even get very far into the dynamics between the kids yet either fuckkk#well besides some cute moments between the prandy girls but to throw in another thing#both presley and pamela are really close with prose for... similar but different reasons

Take A Little Ride
Angel Reyes x F!Reader
Request from @bishopslosawifeâ: What if one of the Mayansâ S/O was an NFR professional barrel rider from the south? Like S/O plans a trail ride for everyone to get them to relax and someone recognizes her and asks her to show off her moves? Maybe S/O has a horse boarding at the stable?
Warnings: language

A/N: (Sorry if this is the second time youâre seeing this fic! Iâve had some issues with posts disappearing from my blog and the tags and Iâm trying to get everything back on track haha.) I know we talked about this fic forever ago, and Iâve been thinking about it ever since lol. We threw around a lot of ideas and I tried to fit as many into this fic as possible without it feeling cluttered. Also, I know this is technically an Angel fic, but we get to see a lot of our boys in this story. Hope you enjoy! xo

âOh come on,â you pleaded as you sat in Angelâs lap, âIt would be so fun!â
He chuckled, shaking his head, âYea, for you maybe. Iâd have no fuckinâ clue what to do.â
âItâs really not that hard,â you reassured him.
EZ sat down across from the two of you, âWhat is Angel fighting you about now?â he smirked.
You laughed, âI was saying that we should go for a trail ride sometime soonâall of us. Itâs such a good way to unwind.â
âWhatâs the issue then?â he was clearly confused.
âShe means a horseback trail ride, Boy Scout,â Angel piped in with a shake of his head before returning his gaze to you, âAnyone besides you and Taza even know how to ride?â
You paused, trying to think back on your conversations with everyone. Truthfully, now that he said it out loud, you couldnât say for certain if any of the guys knew how to ride. You didnât want to cop to that, but you werenât a good liar, âI have no idea,â you chuckled, âI mean for some reason I wanna say that at one point Riz said something to me about it but Iâm not sure. You guys could learn, though! Itâs not like weâd be competing or anything, just a nice mellow trip. Like a hike! Besides, itâd be good for you boys to learn something new.â
âY/N,â Angel started, âIâm not gonna fuââ
EZ cut him off, âIâm game,â he was genuinely interested, but he also loved being a little bit of an instigator when it came to things like this between you and Angel.
Your eyes lit up, âYea?â
âBro,â Angel shook his head, âWhat the fuck?â
âPut it to a vote!â you said excitedly, âThatâs what yâall do, right?â
EZ laughed, nodding, âYea, thatâs exactly what we do.â
âWhat, we gonna go to Templo for this?â it was getting more and more difficult for Angel to keep a straight face.
âWeâll do it right here,â you leaned forward and grabbed your empty beer bottle off the table, rapping it on the wooden surface a few times to get everyoneâs attention, âHey! Boys! I have an offer for ya.â
If Angel had the ability to melt into the couch cushions, he wouldâve. The guys could see the look on his face and it only made them more interested in what you were going to say. EZ was sitting back with a smug grin, extremely invested in where this was all going to go.
âWhatâs the offer?â Taza asked with a soft smile.
âSo,â you got up off Angelâs lap, âI know yâall have had a rough couple of weeks. And I think itâd be good for everyone to get out and unwind,â they were all nodding along in agreement so far, âI just so happen to know of a really great ranch about forty minutes North of here. What would you guys say to a day trip and a trail ride? Switch things up a little.â
Tazaâs response was immediate, âSounds good to me.â
You could see the apprehension on some of their faces, so you tried to reassure them, âIf you donât know how to ride, they give you a rundown of the basics. Plus, the horses that they have there are all push-buttonâabsolute gems.â
âHow do you know about this place?â Bishop couldnât help but to ask.
âIâve been boarding my horse there since I moved to Cali,â you paused, âSo, what dâyou say?â
Sure enough, everyone started to speak up in agreement. You had never felt so excited. You looked back at Angel, who was shaking his head trying not to crack a smile. He had a feeling it was going to go this way.
âMajority vote,â Bishop said with a laugh, âIt passes.â
âYay!â you clapped, âAlright, Iâll call and get it all set up for this week. Itâs gonna be so much fun, trust me.â
As the week passed by, Angel and a few of the other guys asked you questions about just what exactly they had gotten themselves into. They all knew that you rode, but they never thought it would have any crossover with their lives.
You all met up at the clubhouse late Saturday morning. You had your jeans and boots on, along with a tank top. Youâd packed a backpack with water bottles and a few snacks, as well as your riding helmet. There was a palpable sense of excitement in the air, along with nervousness.
âYou guys might not wanna take the bikes,â you warned with a laugh, âYour legs might be a little sore afterwards.â
They all stood and thought about it for a moment before deciding to take your word for it. They split up and piled into the few trucks they had, allowing you to lead the way since none of them knew where you were going. It was one of the very few times that Angel ever rode shotgun and let you take the wheel. Youâd seen EZ crack a smile as his brother begrudgingly handed you the keys.
You rolled into your parking spot at the ranch, instantly jumping out of the truck once it was in park. The rest of the guys werenât far behind, their vehicles falling into line with yours. You waited for them all and then waved for them to follow you as you confidently strode across the grounds to the barns. A few of the other people there smiled and waved to you, recognizing you from your frequent trips there.
The man who ran the ranch came out of one of the barns, arms out wide as he approached you, âY/N, so good to see you,â he gave you a hug, âI was excited when they told me about your call.â
âWhoâs this fuckinâ guy?â Angel murmured to EZ under his breath, elbowing him when he saw his brother trying to bite back a laugh.
You hadnât heard the exchange, but you turned around to introduce everyone regardless, âBoys, this is Matthewâowner of this fine establishment and also one of the first people to help me settle in when I moved here to California. Matthew, this is my crew,â you laughed, âBest group of troublemakers youâll ever meet.â
He laughed, nodding in acknowledgment, âGentlemen, itâs a pleasure. Iâm here to help and get you guys up and running, but youâre in good hands with Y/N here. She knows the trails out here like the back of her hand.â
âWell,â you chuckled, âI wasnât gonna say it, but heâs totally right,â you clapped, âLetâs get you boys all saddled up and ready to go!â
It was refreshing to see them a little out of their element, with the exception of Taza, and surprisingly enough Coco seemed rather comfortable in the barn. You didnât comment on it, wanting to see just how much he knew. But so far he had gotten all his tack on without much of an issue, and he seemed really comfortable with the horse they had provided for him.
You went back and forth with the guys about wearing helmets. Angel was adamant that he would be fine without one, âYouâre not even gonna wear one! Or Taza!â
You laughed, âAnd when youâve clocked as many hours as we have, you wonât have to wear one either. But for now, youâre gonna have to. Deal with it.â
âYea,â EZ chuckled as he clipped his on, âGotta save all the braincells that you can.â
âShut up,â Angel shoved him as they both broke down in laughter.
Your horse was waiting patiently in her stall, all tacked up and ready to go. You were thankful that she was so mellow and patient, because you didnât have to worry about her while you got everyone else situated. Up until that point, you had never realized just how diverse the ranch was when it came to breeds of horses. Most of them were rescues in some capacity, bought at auction when they werenât competition or breeding material anymore, but they still made great companions, especially for beginners.
The fact that Taza let the boys struggle on their own a bit wasnât lost on you. He was already perched atop his horse, waiting for the rest of them to get their acts together. You were certain that it was the most entertained that he had been in a whileâyou could see it in his eyes. To make up for the lack of Tazaâs guidance, you were running around helping however you could.
âCâmon,â Coco taunted as he hoisted himself up onto his horse with ease, âWhatâs takinâ you guys so long?â
âSince when do you know anything about horses?â Angel said with a hint of bitterness to his voice.
âPsh, you donât know everything about me, âmano. Donât worry about it.â
Once everyone was on and ready to go, you finally went back to bring your own horse out. She was waiting patiently as ever in her stall. You slid the door open and stepped inside, gently resting your forehead against hers. It was exciting to be able to share this part of your life with all of them, even if it was going to be a little extra chaotic the first time around. You hoped, though, that they would enjoy it enough to want to come back and do it again. You thought that it would be good for them, because it certainly was for you.
You led your horse out of the barn, not that you really needed to be holding onto her reins anywayâsheâd follow you wherever you went almost without question. You had her stop so you could slip your foot into your stirrup and hoist yourself onto her. The guys looked on in slight awe, not able to believe that it was so easy for someone of your height to climb up that easily onto a horse that was so tall.
Once you were situated in your stirrups and adjusted your backpack, you turned and looked around at your crew with a wide smile on your face, âEveryone feel like they sorta know what theyâre doing? Matthew give you an overview of the basics?â there were various mumbled of agreement as they nodded their heads and you had to laugh, âYouâll be fine. Just remember, gentle on the reinsâitâs attached to their mouths. Squeeze with your legs and nudge with your heels if you wanna go faster. These horses are super well trained so you shouldnât need to kick, or be loud with them at all. Just use a clear voice,â you paused, âWe should probably do a couple laps around the arena first before I take you guys off-roading,â you laughed, âFollow me.â
Admittedly, you were pretty impressed at how well the guys were picking it up. A lot of it had to do with the horses that they were riding, but still. It was the first time you could ever remember Bishop seeming out of his element and you had to admit that you found it amusing. Angel and Gilly found themselves struggling together while EZ practically rode laps around them, of course.
âShow-off,â Angel said with a laugh and a shake of his head as he shifted slightly in his saddle.
âYouâre just mad because Iâm already good,â EZ chuckled as he made his way over to where you and Taza were watching the rest of them.
Once you started making your way towards the trail, you and Coco found yourselves side by side. You glanced over at him and had to smile at how comfortable he seemed. For a man who seemed to be a little jumpy at baseline, he seemed really calm.
âI have to admit,â you said as you glanced back to make sure you didnât lose anyone yet, âyou surprised me a little bit with all of this,â you gestured to him and the horse.
He laughed, âYea, Iâm full of fuckinâ surprises.â
âYou ride for a long time?â
He shrugged, âNot in a while. Started when I finished my four years. One of the guys who came back with me told me to try out equine therapy. Seemed kinda pointless but I really wasnât in a position to be sayinâ no to anythingâI was pretty fucked up. And it helped. Stopped when I started getting in with the club.â
You nodded, unable to hide how invested you were in everything that he was telling you, âGot it. That why the guys didnât know?â
âYea. Plus, they donât gotta know everything,â he chuckled.
The topic fell by the wayside as the group of you continued on your little adventure. It was peaceful, and it was nice to hear all of them laughing and joking around with each other. You felt like you were constantly turning around to make sure that you hadnât lost track of anyone, but you really didnât mind it. It was hard to not be a little amused at how out of sorts Angel still seemed. The downside of being as tall and lanky as he was, is that itâs impossible to miss when he is feeling uncomfortable or out of his comfort zone. It was written all over his body language.
You looped around so you could land yourself next to him. You smiled over at him as he focused intensely on his reins, âStill getting the hang of it?â
âYou guys make it look so easy.â
You laughed, âWeâve got years of practice. Youâll pick it up.â
âGilly wants to know why heâs the only one that didnât get a horse,â Angel laughed.
You chuckled and shook your head, âMules are great, heâs got nothing to complain about. Theyâre strong, and smart, and a little stubborn but thatâs just like the rest of you guys so it should be fine.â
âI know Iâm not good at this shit,â he shifted slightly in his saddle, âand I dunno if I ever will be. But itâs nice to see you enjoying yourself like this. I donât think Iâve ever really seen you like this.â
You smiled, feeling your face get warm, âWell, now you know,â you paused, laughing, âPlus I think this is one of the only times that Iâve been better than you at something.â
âCouldnât let it be a sweet moment, could you?â
You chuckled, âIs this how you feel all the time with me?â
âIâm not better than you at everything, querida. Stop beinâ dramatic,â he smiled.
âCooking and horseback riding are the two things I definitely have over you. And Iâm holding onto those for dear life,â you laughed.
âIâll let you have them. Just for you, I promise I wonât get any better at this.â
âFor me?â you pressed a hand to your chest with a smile, âYouâre too sweet.â
You nudged your horse onward so you could get back to the front of the pack. Youâd ridden the trails hundreds of times but they never got any less beautiful. They were different than where you used to ride back home but the change was nice. The trail that you had taken them on was one of the easier onesâno crazy inclines or anything like that. It was a slow but steady ride up one of the smaller peaks that surrounded the ranch. The view from the top was beautifulâyou could see for miles. You had a feeling that the guys were going to love it.
âWeâre almost to the top,â you called back over your shoulder.
Within a few minutes, the whole group of you had made it to the clearing at the top of the peak. They were all letting out their own murmurs of approval and you felt so proud of yourself. A few of them hopped down, wanting to get a little closer to the cliff edge so they could look down over it. There was nothing but the sound of the breeze and the screaming of the birds while you all stayed there and took in the view. It was the most peace that theyâd probably felt in a while.
âPretty great, right?â you looked over at Angel, who had managed to guide his horse to they were right next to you.
He nodded, âBeautiful. Had no idea any of this was out here.â
âThis is what I used to do with pretty much all of my free time when I first moved here, back before I really knew anyone.â
âYou gave this shit up to hang out with us?â Angel chuckled as he gestured to the rest of the guys.
You laughed, shaking your head, âI didnât give it up. I still come out here at least once every weekend, if not more during the week if work allows for it. I still make the time.â
âI love you,â he had a starry look in his eyes as he gazed over at you.
You smiled, âI love you too. Thanks for doing thisâI know you werenât really all that thrilled about it.â
âIâm glad I did. Itâs nice to see something that means so much to you.â
After a few more minutes of lingering, chatting, and getting photos of everyone, it was time to complete the loop and head back towards the ranch. You were glad that the guys had pacified you and allowed you to do a little impromptu photoshoot of them with their horsesâit was a moment that you wanted to remember. They were quite the diverse pack and you couldnât help but to smile.
The ride back down was smooth. It was evident that for the most part, the guys were starting to feel more comfortable in their saddles. There werenât as many, âoh fuckâsâ said under their breath. There was a little more talking and joking going on and it made your heart feel fuller.
Cutting through the quietness of the trail was Angelâs voice, âShit, fuck, oh fuck,â he wasnât yelling but you could tell that he was worried.
You whipped your head around to see what was wrong, and you had to bite back your laughter as you watched the scene that was playing out. Angelâs horse had bumped up from a walk to a jog and clearly it wasnât Angelâs doing. The panic that was on his face was priceless. Realistically, the horse wasnât even going that fast, but it was enough to send Angel into panic mode.
âIâm just gonna fuckinâ jump off.â
You laughed, âDo not jump off. Just apply a little pressure to the reins and tell him to walk. He should slow right down. They donât understand curse words.â
He did as you instructed, and sure enough the horse dropped right back down to a leisurely walk. You were trying not to laugh but the rest of the guys werenât as kind and forgiving as you. You knew that that was going to be something that he wasnât going to be living down anytime soon.
The rest of the descent was uneventful. The whole squad made it back down to the base of the trail unscathed. You hopped down off your horse and began to help all of them to do the same. You told them where to go and put all of their tack once they took it off, and also told them that if they could walk their horses for a couple minutes just to help cool them down it would be appreciated. It wasnât the most intensive ride but it would still be good for them. Besides, it would be good for the guys and their legs too.
You were getting ready to bring your horse in when a girl came walking up to you, trying to politely get your attention. She couldnât have been more than seventeen or eighteen. Her t-shirt and jeans were streaked with dirt but there was a giant smile on her face as she walked up to you and your horse.
âHi, excuse me, are you Y/N?â her voice was quiet, shy.
You nodded, slightly confused, âI am. Everything alright?â
âYea! I just, um, god sorry I donât mean to be weird. I used to watch you race, though. I went to almost every NFR circuit event for a few years back when we still lived in Nevada. They said you moved but I had no idea it was here and I,â she stopped herself, âSorry, Iâm rambling.â
You shook your head, smiling, âDonât be sorry. I donât think Iâve ever had a fan before,â you laughed.
âWell thatâs not true,â the girl laughed. She paused for a few moments, âWould itâŚwould it be weird to ask if I could see you do a run?â
You raised your eyebrows, âA barrel run?â
She nodded excitedly, âYea.â
You laughed, âI mean, I donât see why not. Iâm a little out of practice but I think we can still manage it,â you patted your horse on the shoulder.
âOh my god this is so cool. The big arena inside is already set upâI just finished my lesson.â
The two of you walked together, your horse following behind without you having to hold too tightly on the reins. You listened to her gush and talk about riding and it made you miss what it felt like to be training for competitions. You didnât regret stepping back from it to live the life that you have now, but there was nothing quite like that rush of adrenaline.
The guys had heard the entire interaction and all of them had since gotten their own horses situated so they could come and see what was about to happen. EZ and Angel were leaning against the side of the arena, their voices carrying in the echo chamber it created.
âYou know she used to compete?â EZ asked as he watched you hop back up onto your horse.
âYea, I mean, she mentioned it,â Angle replied, âDidnât know that she was a fuckinâ celebrity, though.â
âPaparazzi is gonna show up any minute,â Bishop materialized next to them, chiming in with a laugh.
You settled into your saddle, getting both you and your horse positioned so that you could start your run. You could tell that she felt the shift in energy as the two of you stood at the entrance to the arena. You could feel her starting to get a little antsy, a little wound up. It had been a long time since you ran the pattern, but you had no doubt that it would be like riding a bike for the two of you.
As soon as you nudged her with the heel of your boot, your horse took off. You couldnât stop the laughter that erupted out of you as she flew around the first barrel, gliding seamlessly into the turn. You could faintly hear the guys from the sideline over the sound of the wind in your ears. You felt your hat fly off your head and you didnât even care. Youâd almost forgotten how fun it was to neck-rein at that high of a speed.
You looped around the second barrel, and the third, and your horse all but flew down the center of the pattern as she ran out of the arena. You sat back in your saddle, trying to get her to slow down but you didnât really want her to. It had to have felt just as good for her as it did for youâthe two of you hadnât done more than a light canter in a while and she was clearly itching to get out some pent-up energy.
Finally she slowed to a walk as you turned her around to head back towards the arena. The young girl came running out of the building with a huge smile on her face, your hat hanging from her fingertips.
âThat was so cool!â she handed your hat back to you.
You hopped down off your horse with a smile, âThat was the most fun Iâve had in a while, I canât lie,â you laughed, âIâm glad you asked us to run itâthat felt amazing.â
âDo you board here?â she looked at you expectantly.
You nodded, âI sure do. Here every weekend, pretty much. Not that weâre really training to compete anymore, but you know.â
âIf weâre ever here at the same time do you think that you could give me some pointers?â
You nodded, feeling your heart swell inside your chest, âAbsolutely.â
âYes! Oh thatâs so awesome. Thank you so much. Iâll, um, Iâll let you get back to your friends. But thank you so much.â
You smiled, âOf course. Iâll see you around.â
She bounded off, an excited spring to her step. You chuckled and shook your head as you started to lead your horse back to the barn so you could take off her saddle and bridle. As the two of you meandered, Angel and the guys all came out of the arena, looks of surprise all over their faces.
âWhat the fuck was that, querida?â Angel laughed as he shook his head in disbelief.
âWhat?â you feigned ignorance.
âWhen were we gonna find out that you know how to do all that?â EZ piped up.
âI told you guys that I ride!â
âThat,â Angel threw his arm around your shoulder, âwas not just riding. That was insane! You guys were fucking flying.â
âShoulda seen how fast we could go when we were actually training for it.â
âAlso, didnât know that you were apparently a celebrity,â there was a smirk on his face as he pressed a kiss to your shoulder.
You laughed and shook your head, âNot a celebrity. The horse world is a small one.â
âYou gonna be able to teach us how to do all that?â EZ asked with a laugh.
âNot a fucking chance,â you smiled over at him, âBut you guys are more than welcome to come here with me any time.â
âWell now we definitely have to,â Angel said, âGotta see what other moves youâre holding out on.â
âOh,â you laughed, âyouâll see. Donât worry.â

The Dusty (dramione marriage law fic)
Hi I posted my first real dramione fic (other one is probs dead and abandoned) last night I figured why not post it here too! You can read it on AO3Â or read it below
Chapter One: Ginny brings the wine
Hermione returned to her flat drained of all energy. She was not a witch easily defeated. She fought Voldemort throughout her school years for Merlinâs sake! It took a lot for Hermione Granger to have the fight in her body and brain depleted. And this? This was what broke her.
Sheâd been in a twelve-round legislative battle. As a legislative aide to the Minister of Magic, one of the youngest and brightest, sheâd been working against a certain bill. A bill Hermione saw as the end of peacetime. A bill that Hermione would go to her grave cursing. A bill Hermione thought immoral and suspect. It was a Marriage bill. Although she supposed now, she would have to come to terms with the fact it was now a Marriage Law.
She had made valiant legal and moral arguments. She had lobbied members of the Wizengamot. She had garnered support in the wizarding media. And yet, when the cards fell, she was on the losing side. She was not used to losing. It did not feel good.
The bill- the law, she corrected herself mentally- was called The Decree To Unite Wizarding Society Through Espousal (DUWSTE or âthe dustyâ as Ron and others had taken to calling it). It mandated that every unmarried witch and wizard ages 21 to 35 be married. Yet this was not the only mandate. It required pureblood wizards to marry muggleborns or first-generation half-bloods. And still, yet, this was not the most repulsive thing about the law to Hermione. The second most repulsive thing about this would be that the pairs would be determined by magic. The members of the Wizengamot who initially proposed this law had charmed a goblet (which reminded Hermione of the disastrous consequences of a certain goblet of fire in her fourth year) to spit out names âappropriatelyâ matched. The pairs would be revealed in a ceremony in one weekâs time. The worst item in the proposal- now law- was the Child stipulation. Couples must produce at least one magical child within three years of marriage. There were invasive measures to be taken which would determine levels of fertility and whether the couple has made attempts at the child-making process. Hermione found this despicable. No matter how sterile the language was, the details were reprehensible. The idea that any man or woman would be forced to stand by, having their privacy completely disregarded in such a crude manner was shameful.
Hermione accused the law of depriving wizards and witches of agency and publicly ridiculed the idea that whatever charm the proponents had placed upon the goblet would result in âloving and harmonious couplesâ as a farce.Â
But all of her fighting was for not because the bill had passed, although narrowly. She had been biting at her nails as the final votes were cast. When Wilhemina Walters cast her yay vote, Hermione had nearly broken down in tears. There were two more members to vote after that but Wilhelmina, one of the swing votes, had put it in the pocket of the billâs proponents. Once the final result was called, (âThe Decree to Unite Wizarding Society Through Espousal has passed the Wizengamot for immediate enactment. Notices to the relevant wizards and witches will be sent out on Monday via the Minister of Magicâs office. This session of the Wizengamot is hereby adjourned.â) Hermione fled from the chamber and found herself bent over the toilet, throwing up her guts like her lunch was slugs and she was Ron in second year.
Hermione shook her head as she felt another round of tears welling up. She could not believe this was happening. In one week, she would find out who she was marrying. Her mind drifted thinking of the possibilities. There were few men she actually liked and was comfortable around. There was obviously Harry and Ron whom she loved. But neither of them was an option. Harry and Ginny had been married a year and a half ago. Ron was engaged to Susan Bones as of seven months ago, prior to this bill being an issue. The Dusty (she was now resolved to not give it more respect than it deserved) had a stipulation that if you were engaged prior to the enactment of the law with proof of the date, you were not subject to the matching âserviceâ. However, if you submitted a waiver under the engagement clause you must marry within three months of the enactment of the law. The other male friends she had were similarly tied up in relationships. Neville proposed to Hannah Abbott a month ago- not because of the law, but because they were in love. Although Hermione had her suspicions about whether Neville and Hannah rushed it because of the law. There was George who had eloped with Angelina Johnson (now Weasley) a few months ago. They both outright admitted that it was because of the law. They did not see any purpose of waiting if they were going to be forced to marry. There were Dean and Seamus but theyâd been married since the day after the Battle of Hogwarts.Â
The only single male friend she had was Blaise Zabini. Zabini was also a legislative aide to the Minister of Magic. Theyâd fought together against the bill but he hadnât been quite so invested. He proposed to her daily, knowing she was annoyed at the prospect of marrying not out of an abundance of choice and love. The proposals were never serious. Blaise had said if the bill passed, he was sure he could put up with whoever he was matched with. He knew he was charming and he didnât really believe in true love after all. Blaise made fun of Hermione for being a closet romantic. She huffed but she knew it was true.
A knock at her door pulled her from her reverie. She made her way to the door without much enthusiasm. Looking through the peephole which glowed green for âsafe and familiarâ, she saw it was Ginny. She opened the door to her friendâs too bright expression.
âI have wine and I have chocolate. Letâs mourn the end of your singlehood.â
Hermione felt her eyes well up.
âOh, no. Donât do that. Drink!â Ginny shoved her way into her flat and pushed Hermione to the couch and went about getting wine glasses from the kitchen, leaving the large bag of chocolates on Hermioneâs lap. Hermione sighed deeply before tearing into a hazelnut vanilla chocolate.
They spent hours gossiping about anything other than the law. They got drunk and they ate chocolate and called for takeout delivery. But once properly lubricated, Ginny broached the topic.
âSoooo⌠at least this means youâll finally get laid again.â Ginny said with a slight but noticeable slur to her voice. Hermione, being a lightweight, had a loose enough tongue to not just shake her head at Ginny.
âNo way! I donât wanna get ministry-mandated-sex for the rest of my life! I should-â She hiccoughed. âI should have gotten laid more often.â She sighs.
âYou should have. But you were too busy fighting the damn dusty to do much of anything except eat, sleep, and be dragged for-forcibibibily to social gatherings on the weekend sometimes by my husband and me.â Ginny finished her statement and Hermione was about to reply indignantly (she didnât have to be dragged per se) but Ginny sat up abruptly. âI have an idea! An excellent idea!â
âOh no. What?â Hermione knew to be on guard when drunk Ginny had an idea.
âYou still have time! You have a week til you get your partner. Even then, who says you canât have a fling before you get married? Itâs not like itâll be a particularly romantic relationship in the three months they give you to get to know each other before marrying you off.â
âYou want me to have a fling?â
âI want you to get laid. I want you to have sex that you wonât hate. I know you. No matter how nice the guy is, how attractive he is, or how big his cock is, you wonât be satisfied with ministry-mandated sex!â
âThatâs right at least. Itâll always be in the back of my mind that this is something that I didnât want, that would be forced upon me.â She sighs, expecting tears to come but they donât. Maybe sheâd run out.
âSo thatâs that. Tomorrow weâll go out for a girlsâ night, inviting Luna and Susan and Hannah, that will result in you getting laid at some blokeâs apartment and us married and engaged folks will go home and get laid by our husbands-fiances.â Ginny lacked tact sober. When drunk, she certainly didnât pull punches. âOne, way to put a fine point on it. Two, you expect me to have a one night stand?â She said doubtfully. âHow am I gonna find someone? I know all of wizarding London pretty much. Iâve been out with a couple of people and either they were deeply uninteresting or uninterested in me.â
âI doubt the latter was true for anyone, first of all. Second of all, weâll go to a muggle club. You can have hot, completely noncommittal sex with a muggle and itâll be fun! I promise!â Hermione looked at her friend with doubt, amusement, and a bit of insecurity in her eyes. âI promise!â Ginny repeats. With that, they move on to other topics but the idea Ginny has planted has taken root in Hermioneâs mind. She had one week of freedom where she wouldnât be government-mandated engaged. Sheâd spend it having fun and thumbing her nose at the ministry.
That had been a Wednesday night. Hermione woke up Thursday with a hangover and owled in sick for the day at work. She wasnât ready to show her face. If she saw Joanna Gibson or Todd Travers, she might have punched their pretty little noses. Joanna and Todd were both legislative aides of Norris Baumbach, the senior member of the Wizengamot who was responsible for pushing the bill through. Hermione despised the two of them. Travers was the cousin of a convicted Death Eater and his Slytherin ambition was crystal clear to Hermione. Travers would do anything to clear his family name- and that included playing dirty, provided he wasnât caught. Joanna Gibson was an obnoxious Ravenclaw half-blood who, while she wasnât as dirty as Travers, was significantly more a bitch. Hermione didnât want to see their smug expressions. All the legislative aides worked on the same floor and there would be no avoiding them once at the ministry.
She spent Thursday eating fast food and peanut butter cups. She watched The Notebook and caught up on a muggle romance novel sheâd started months ago. She received several owls from friends with good wishes but she didnât have the energy to respond. She promised herself she would wake up early tomorrow and reply but today was a day that she reserved for herself.
On Friday she woke up early like she said and responded to everyone.
To Harry, she wrote,
Iâm fine. Ginny should keep her mouth shut. I know youâll always be there for me and I appreciate it. Iâm getting ready tomorrow at yours so we can talk more then. Love you.
To Ron and Susan (though the note from them had been distinctly Susan with a postscript distinctly Ron), she wrote,
Iâm fine. I always knew it was a possibility. Love you guys. We should meet for lunch next week. Trust me, Iâm determined to have this damn thing affect my life in the least amount of ways possible. Speaking of, Susan, would you like to join Ginny and a few others and me on a girls night out tomorrow? Also, Ron, I happily accept your offer to blow my future husbandâs bits to smithereens if he lays an unwanted hand on me. Love you guys too.
She answered Luna, Kingsley, and Nevilleâs notes next before moving on to the final one. The one from Draco Malfoy. They rarely spoke. Malfoy was occasionally around the office when he came to visit Blaise and they had worked together once when Hermione was working on legislation that she needed a master potioneerâs help with. Hermione found him to be every bit as arrogant and obnoxious- though even she could see he was not the boy he once was. For one, he was very much a man, as loathe as she was to admit such a thing. Yes, Draco Malfoy had grown into his pointy features and his skin no longer looked unhealthy- though it was a far cry from tanned.
The note from Malfoy had been short and had sparked a fire in her that had previously been put out.
Granger,
Blaise tells me you owled in sick to work. Never thought youâd be so easily defeated. All these years of poking at you and you let a little thing like a âlowly despicable immoralâ law that cast shade on all our futures defeat you. Tsk, tsk. Whatâs that muggle saying? Donât let the bastards get you down? Get back up, Granger.
She was irritated. She was mystified. She felt like she had been confunded. So she wrote back to the best of her ability.
Malfoy,
Firstly, you made an inaccurate assumption. I simply wasnât feeling well. Donât presume to know me. Secondly, why must you Slytherins be so shady about your meaning? I canât tell where you stand on this law. You certainly never spoke out against it. Nor in favor of it. Though Iâm guessing your bigoted little mind would be against it- poor Draco Malfoy could never sully himself with a muggleborn, surely itâd be beneath him. Curious that you didnât speak out. Or did you just not want to be on the same side as me? Thirdly, you made a common muggle mistake. The actual phrase is donât let the bastards grind you down. Donât worry, happens to the best of us. Fourthly, I will be back at the ministry today but not simply because you told me to so donât go getting a big head thinking your words of wisdom somehow prompted my miraculous recovery. Fifthly, why are you writing to me? What do you get out of this?
Sincerely sod off,
Hermione Granger
Hermione made a noise at the back of her throat, proud of her note but distinctly uncomfortable that Malfoy had contacted her about this. Even more so uncomfortable that he was encouraging her. Albeit in a very arrogant way. Could she expect anything different from Draco Malfoy?
She shook it off and hurried off to the ministry, determined to turn her legislative tide. She was at her desk for only a few minutes before Blaise sat down across from her and slid a steaming cup of coffee her way.
âOh, bless you!â Hermione gushed.Â
Blaise smiled and replied, âI didnât sneeze but youâre welcome.â Then his expression changed from jovial to sober which was a disturbing trend as Hermione had so rarely seen that change. âSo how are you feeling?â Hermione huffed at this question. Sheâd probably be fielding it a lot for a little bit.
âIâm fine.â She insists. He gives her a look that says donât lie to a liar. âIâve made a plan. All Iâve ever needed was a plan.â Blaise snorted.
âYouâre not running off with Potter to defeat You Know Who.â Even after all these years, many still wouldnât say his name. No matter how often she would insist to Blaise that fear of the name blah blah blah. âYouâre going to be married. And he could be the most charming bloke and youâre going to despise him. Youâre not fine.â
âGinny said something similar.â She blushed remembering Ginnyâs comments about her mystery husbandâs dick. âThereâs nothing I can do about it now. Thereâs no more fighting it. At least not outright.â Blaise squinted in a very Slytherin manner.
âWhat exactly do you have planned Golden Girl?â He asked.
âWouldnât you just love to know.â She winked at him. He leaned back and grabbed his heart in a sarcastic but friendly manner. She laughed at his antics. âBack to work, back to work.â She made a shooing motion with her hand and he rolled his eyes at her.
Hermione was working on another Goblin fair pay bill because the last one had come out so toothless its supporters waned and its antagonists still voted no. Getting the Goblins to work with her on it had been a beast of a task in the first place. Now she had to go back to Moregi, the appointed Goblin liaison to the ministry, and beg for his cooperation once again. He was a cynical creature, to begin with, and with the latest defeat, he was growing more so. She couldnât blame him though. It was rather defeating.
She shook her head and ran her fingers through her hair. It seemed nothing was going right. She knew when she took the job that it would not be easy and she was not the kind of person who could leave work at the office and not pour every ounce of herself into what was in front of her. Before The Dusty, Hermione had fantasized about true love, being the closet romantic she was. She had dreamed of a partner to come home to, a partner who would make her want to leave it all behind her when she stepped through the floo. Her heart twinged as she kissed this fantasy goodbye. Sheâd be chasing work even harder than usual once she had her ministry-appointed husband in her ministry-assigned place of residence.
âSo is that what you do all day to get it to look that way?â A distinctly arrogant voice pulled her out of her reverie.
âWhat are you on about this time Malfoy?â She groaned, not looking up. He came around from time to time despite not having any official ministry position. Malfoy was the first of the Malfoy men to take up an actual career that wasnât flitting about in politics and investments. He was an apprentice to Ollivander. Hermione always did wonder about that relationship given that Ollivander had been trapped in his familyâs dungeons.
âYour hands. Mussing about in the mess you call hair.â He drawled. She looked up at him and gave him a cruel look.
âI imagine your hands spend plenty of time in your hair, massaging the pounds of hair product into it.â
âYes, and I imagine it would take absolutely massive pounds of hair product to tame your hair an inch.â He tossed back.
âPounds canât be massive. Itâs a definitive measurement, you canât qualify it.â She informed him, satisfied with herself. Malfoy opened his mouth to retort but found himself interrupted by his best friend.
âWhat are you annoying Granger about this time, Draco?â Blaise asked.
âOh, we all know Grangerâs apparent annoyance at me is all just an act for how much she fancies me.â Blaise raised an eyebrow at this. Malfoy just smirked.
âYou possess the charm of an acromantula to me, Malfoy.â She put her head down, back to the legislative work that awaited her. Blaise laughed at his two friends and sat back with his feet up on his desk.
âWhat brings you this way, Draco?â Blaise asks.
âChecking to see that Granger hadnât offed herself yet and to take you to lunch, Blaise.â Draco said casually. Hermione looked up sharply and stood in the next second.
âIâll have you know Iâm doing perfectly fine!â Sheâd reached her witâs end of everyone treating her like sheâd suffered a personal tragedy and Malfoyâs casually cruel comment set her off. âOr I will be, very soon.â She said more to herself than the two men in front of her.
âAh, yes. The plan.â Blaise said.
âYes. The plan.â Hermione turned up her nose, resisting the urge to stomp her foot.
âWhat plan are you referring to?â Draco asked Blaise, knowing he wasnât likely to get a response out of her.
âShe wonât tell me. Just something that involves her indirectly fighting The Dusty.â Blaise informed Draco.
âZabini!â Hermione reprimanded. She didnât need Malfoy peering into this. Meanwhile, Malfoy just scoffed.
âThe language of the law is quite precise. You know it damn well. What could you possibly do?â
âIâm taking back control of my life.â She said vaguely.
âWhat does that mean?â Blaise asks, unable to resist a puzzle.
âIt means⌠wellâŚâ She wasnât sure how to continue this. But Malfoyâs eyes were challenging her and she was always up for a dare. A Gryffindor, indeed. âThe law says nothing about a pre-marital fling.â
She waited while the boys digested this. Then they looked at one another and burst out laughing. This led to her hands situating themselves on her hips in a haughty manner.
âWhat is ever so funny?â Hermione hissed.
âYour plan is to become a hussy?â Malfoy smirked, still chuckling.
âExcuse you!â She nearly screeched, causing the few in the office to look over at them. Well, those that hadnât been looking before.
âCâmon, Hermione. It doesnât exactly seem like you.â Zabini added.
âYeah. Come off it. Havenât you already turned to ice and stone from the lack of taking control as you put it?â
âYou donât think Iâm capable? Neither of you?â
âOf casual, adult fun? No, I donât.â Malfoy shrugged.
âNot that youâre incapable⌠just not necessarily comfortable doing something like that.â Blaise countered.
âI-I! Well! Iâll have you both know that I am not some sexless amoeba. I am an adult woman perfectly capable and willing to have a tryst with a man.â She resolutely exclaims.
âAlright. Iâm sure you are.â Blaise held up his hands innocently, admitting defeat. Malfoy had not gotten the stand down memo.
âProve it.â He says.
âExcuse me?â Hermione balks.
âCome to the pub tonight. Weâll pick a fellow out and you have to seduce him. Unless youâre incapable and unwilling.â
âWell, as shocking as this may seem to a prejudiced fool like you, Malfoy, the plan is to go to a muggle club. Iâve found them to be much more attentive than wizards anyways.â She added the last part, trying to make him blush as much as he was her.
âWell you have fun with that, Herm-â Blaise is cut off from his peacemaking efforts.
âWeâll come.â
âWhat?!â Blaise exclaims.
âWeâll come to your muggle pub. Meet you at the Leaky at nine?â Malfoy challenges her. She squints at him, trying to determine his game here.
âSure. If you can stand to breathe all those muggle germs.â
âYou know nothing about me, Granger.â He says cryptically before turning to Blaise who looked stricken, an uncommon occurrence for him. âReady for lunch?â Without another word, he turned and started walking out the door. Blaise sighed heavily and stood to follow him but stopped at Hermioneâs desk.
âDo you want me to talk him out of this?â Blaise asked, giving away his secret that he is actually a good friend.
âNo. Itâll do the both of you some good to experience some culture thatâs not prickly wizarding society. And do me some good to the surprised look on your faces when I do snag a man.â Hermione said more confidently than she felt. Blaise smiled and kissed her cheek.
âIâm sure this will go swimmingly.â
Hermione slumped to her chair. She was really going to do this now, wasnât she? The thought of The Dusty popped back into her mind- her reason for this whole plot to begin with. A twinge in her gut reminded her how sharp the loss still was. The nervous fluttering in her stomach reminded her how very trapped she felt by it all. But the solid beat of her heart in her chest reminded her that she was a Gryffindor and Malfoy had baited her- she wasnât about to back down.

SnK Chapter 124 Poll Results
The chapter 124 poll closed with 2,065 responses. Thank you to everyone who participated!
This monthâs poll team: @erensjaegerbombs @momtaku, _Puppet_ , @shifter-lines and @ladymoe6â
 RATE THE CHAPTER 1,926 Responses
Fours and fives still dominate but thereâs no denying that this chapter lacked the hype weâve seen recently. âThawâ had the lowest number of 5âs this year, performing similarly to the Zeke-centric flashback chapter in 114, âSole Salvationâ. (Thereâs a pun to made here about us âwarming up to Thawâ but sadly I am not smart enough to make it.)
The Chapter of Necessary Filler & the Obligatory Cliffhanger
I love that Isayama isn't rushing everything and is actually focusing on little details and small interactions between characters. He really isn't glorifying an "apocalyptical scenario" just for the sake of destruction in itself or shock value.
This chapter felt like a nostalgia trip, but I wasn't in for the ride.
This chapter was a breath of fresh air ngl. These past chapters were mostly full of either a flashback, monologue or just having two characters talking in a realm where nothing happens and time is frozen, but, at last, the plot is moving foward in the real world too. Not only it contained long gone titan action, but also great character development/moments as well. I missed this.
The leaks didn't give this chapter justice
A weaker chapter overall, I hope all this buildup will be well spent in the next chapter.
I actually loved everything about this chapter, I can't believe Isayama finally gave me a reason to kind of like Gabi. I'm sure she'll do something to immediately change thatâŚ
Isayama-sensei is the best, each chapter is a 10/10 for me. I do agree that this chapter is not as great as as the last 5, but it's still great. This year is impossible to choose the Top 5 Best Chapters of SNK
It was good, but I was hoping for a crazier year closure.
WHICH OF THE FOLLOWING WAS YOUR FAVORITE MOMENT?
1,995 Responses
There were many great moments in this chapter, but Annieâs highly anticipated return to the active plot takes up the largest amount of votes! Other notable moments were: Shadis taking command, Armin realizing Annieâs crystal must have unhardened, the 104th discussing Eren, and Jeanâs salty reaction to Flochâs continued survival.
A N N I E is BAAAAAAACK!!!
as someone too invested in the gabi-nicolo-braus plot thread by i love sasha i am absolutely Fed with that excellent "get out of the forest" talk. thank u for the good food nicolo
It's great to see the other 104th members discuss about Eren's actions. At least we got a glimpse on what they think about Eren's plan.
For once I'm gonna forgive Isayama for putting off Levi and Hange. I FEEL BLESSED TO HAVE ANNIE BACK ON MY BIRTH MONTH!!! BEST PRESENT EVER
I like the parallels to Trost, especially the part with the thunder spears sort of mirroring the thing with the guns and the elevator from S1
WHO WAS THIS CHAPTERS MVP? 1,988 Responses
Despite the influx of negative commentary, 38.2% of respondents agree that Gabiâs persistence to save Falco and reconciliation with Kaya earned her the MVP title this month. The strongest contenders were Shadis and Jean.
Annie saved this chapter from the Gabi / Kaya focus
Connie- the underrated suffer boi
Gabi best girl!
I am proud of Jean for taking charge, he acted like a real commander.
Reiner Best character đđ
SHADIS IS THE MVP AND I LOVE HIM
WHICH CHARACTER WERE YOU MOST DISAPPOINTED WITH? 1,998 Responses
âNone of the aboveâ was a popular suggestion (25.2%) but Connie edged that choice out by a percentage point (26.3%) . At least you guys listen when the evening news says that stealing children is bad.
Silly of you to ask us which character we're most disappointed with. We're always disappointed with Floch in every panel he shows up in
it's good to have a connie development, but I was a little sad about his attitude
I'm not so much disappointed with Connie in this moment as I am with the direction his character arc has gone lately in general. I miss when he was fun instead of angry all the time.
I think everyone is acting super irrational. Eren is going to destroy the world but all the SC are "accepting" of it. I think deep down they are all horrified and in a completely insane mental state causing irrational decisions and thoughts such as Jean being okay with genocide.
I understand that Connie is desperate to find a comfort after all the ppl he lost, but I'm still extremely disappointed in him for wanting to murder a child. Not just Connie tho, the same goes for Jean and Armin. Armin didn't say "Let's not kill a freaking child" he just objected because he didn't want to provoke Reiner and Pieck.
WHAT DID YOU THINK OF REINERâS ROLE THIS CHAPTER? 1,889 Responses
Reiner takes a back seat this chapter, and just barely over half of the fandom believe he deserves that nap after all heâs been through. Â Another quarter, at 25.8% are wishing he could just die at this point, for better or worse.
"Enough already. Just sleep." - Reiner to Eren in 117
Can Reiner pick an opinion and stick with it for .2 seconds. he's like hardcore ready to kick ass and then immediately turns around and is ready to die again
Game over man
He's cute. End of the story.
I think it was bizarre that Gabi just let him fall asleep and left him in an enemy territory where he could be captured or eaten by a mindless titan
I understand him being tired an all, but sleeping in the middle of a warzone and at the start of the apocalypse???
Helos needs his rest and good dreams of Bert
I think it is set up for his future death : saving Falco by being eaten by Connie's mom (he was there with Connie in Ragako village)
Madlad goes to sleep instead of dying
Man literally too tired to die
There were certainly worse ways than "passed out from exhaustion" that he could've been written out of the chapter. At least we know his current status this way, unlike a certain duo...
He need some milk
Reiner votes for âCanât he just die already?â
WHAT DO YOU THINK OF THE EREN PARALLEL IN GABI AT THE MIRROR? 1,869 Responses
Gabiâs design is based on Eren, and sheâs had similarities and parallels to him in the past, what does the parallel in this chapter mean stacked on top of all of that? Â About 70% say itâs to further emphasize how similar she is to him at her core. Â 12.7% donât think it was an intentional parallel to that Eren scene, 7.7% say sheâs going to receive his titan, and a solid 1% wrote in the eloquent thesis of âFuck Gabi.â
A bit too on the nose
Both have the common factor of determination and the desire to fight to save someone else. "Fight, fight" = "Like I'd give up" In Eren's case, his scene in the mirror is portrayed in a darker, more aggressive environment, he must fight to save his loved ones, but for this goal he must destroy everything. On the other hand, Gabi shows a more heroic/pure attitude, the light is predominant, and his words refer to the desire to fight to save Falco without taking this violence path unlike Ere
Eren cant copyright this hairstyle
How dare she stand where he stood.
I didn't like any parallels that include Gabi. Not this one, and most certainly not the one with Sasha.
It definitely foreshadows something, but I don't think it's that she'll inherit his titan. I think she's going to be the one to end this madness and break the cycle. Unlike Eren, who fights for freedom both for himself and his loved ones, Gabi will fight for peace and equality: a different kind of freedom.
It symbolizes Gabi's character arc starting to go in the opposite direction of Eren, rather than showing them being similar.
It symbolizes Gabi's change in motivation to do anything to save her friends. Just as Eren's motivation in the mirror scene really marked the moment he turned genocidal to protect his friends.
DO YOU AGREE WITH JEANâS CONCLUSION THAT EREN IS DOING WHAT HEâS DOING TO PROTECT THOSE HE LOVES? 1,950 Responses
Jean believes heâs figured out why Erenâs doing what heâs doing, does the fandom agree? Â The large majority think thatâs at least a part of it, as 40.8% think itâs solely that goal in mind, and another 53.5% believe it stemmed from that desire but has evolved and become more complex. Â 3.3% of fans donât believe thatâs where his motivation stems from at all.
But if that's his goal it still doesn't explain chapter 112
EREN is doing it to protect his friends. YMIR wants vengeance and bloodshed.
I agree, because I really donât know what else could have been done. The Eldians were hated all over the world and Talk-No-Justu is a folly.
I don't know what to think. At first, Jean seems to be in denial (like most of the 104th), but perhaps it's his way of realizing things. No, Eren must love them a lot, there's absolutely no way that his genocide is unjustified. Right...? WaitâŚ
I think he's being pragmatic and analytical. Like a real leader. Something I expected from Armin. However Armin has strokes of genius during critical times so I'm expecting something.
In a breaking bad way, yes
Yes, although I believe Eren's old and complex relationship with the idea of freedom also plays a big part in this situation.
No, because he isn't doing anything about the mindless titans and treated his friends like trash. I didn't see any kind of concern while they were in danger. I think he's more eager to set his ideals into action.
WHAT DO YOU THINK WAS THE CORRECT RESPONSE TO WHAT TO DO WITH FALCO? 1,958 Responses
Another serumbowl type discussion arises, yay!!...? Â The vast majority, at a combined 81.4% donât want to feed Falco to anyone, and just want to wrap him up and not start any more conflict. Â 11.6% think he should be fed to a known titan such as Pixis, and only 4.3% side with Connieâs reaction of feeding him to his own Mama Springer.
Falco is too important. He and Connie will probably have an arc.
Feed him to Floch, jaw titan always dies stupidly and Floch never dies so it should cancel out
Feed him to Levi that way we get jaw Levi and his hand back.
Feed Zeke to Connie's mom instead and take Falco somewhere safe
I donât have anything against Falco personally, but it makes since to feed him to someone else
I like Falco, but Connie has lost far more than anyone outside the Walls. If feeding Falco to Connie's mom gives Connie some semblance of peace, so be it
NILE !
In a perfect world Connie can have the satisfaction of feeding ZEKE to his mother. Kinda proud that I predicted the âConnie tried to revive his momâ plot point but I think the fact that itâs falco means that Connie fails
There's no right answer here, but I can't imagine any mother would be able to live with the fact that she ate someone else's child in order to live again, so that's probably the worst option.
Well, logically speaking, Falco should probably be fed to Pixis. But my heart calls out for me to wrap him in a blanket.
WHAT DID YOU THINK OF CONNIE SEEMINGLY SNAPPING ON THE OTHERS AND INSISTING FALCO BE FED TO HIS MOTHER? 1,947 Responses
Understanding prevaled with close to 80% of the fandom selecting âI donât agree with his actions but I wholeheartedly sympathize with his reasoningâ. Only 13% indicated that they were disappointed with him.
Falco's a kid, man! You don't cross that line!
Connie, if your mom needs a kidney transplant, you don't just shank another person to steal their kidneys. Just saying.
Connie has been pushed to his limit. He needs a nap and a minute to cry.
Although Connie is not thinking clearly, I'm glad they're not blindly hating on him like some have been doing for Eren.
Connie's break is truly amazing to me. The guy was always so good and chill and dedicated before these hard times. To see him at his breaking point, horrified by everything that is happening and overwhelmed by the situation, and thus reverting into single-minded dedication to one fundamental goal - saving his mother. It's tragic to see him like this and it's probably not the best "logical" action, but it makes complete sense that he'd do this. He's sick of this clusterfuck. He has a ticket to save his mom and he's gonna take it. Poor Falco though, of course.
I didn't see it coming, but it's not like it's unthinkable. When the world collapses we often want to run back to our mama.
I disagreed with him, but I thinks his feelings are understandable and, also, I liked a lot that he pointed out 104's hypocrisy. The serum drama is coming back to bite their asses.
I understand he wants to see his mom again but does he really want to give her the cruel fate of becoming a titan shifter?
I understand his reasoning, but this is literally the WORST possible time to cause an internal crisis
I'm sad for him & deeply uncomfortable by it.
Iâm mad at Connie only because he straight up abandoned his duty to pacify the Titan situation. Â He left Jean, Mikasa, and Armin to take care of it without him. Lucky Shadis was there to help.
REGARDLESS OF YOUR VIEWS ON CONNIEâS ACTIONS, HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT HIM FINALLY GETTING SOME TIME IN THE SPOTLIGHT? 1,946 Responses
More than half the fandom was happy to see him speak his mind and get some character development (53.3%). 16% were absolutely thrilled. Those who donât care, and those whose disappointment over how he returned soured the moment came in at 10%... Iâm willing to bet at least one of those votes is because he doesnât have a new hair style.
Going to the dark side doesn't suit the former sunshine called Connie.
My man has been in the story since the beginning. He is well overdue for an arc.
A surprise to be sure, but a welcome one.
But why FALCO? He's the ONLY character outside the Walls I actually LIKE!
Finally we get to see him say something about his mother. Yeah, maybe he's not one of the most important charcters overall, but what he lived through when he saw his mom on that roof finally deserves some thoughts and emotions. Connie was on the margin of the story for way too long, and I'm happy we get to see him talk about how he feels.
Glad heâs doing stuff but heâs 100% going to die
I haven't really liked his development. He's, altho understandably, just an angry dude that can't help himself from getting overcome by his emotions. Not a good look.
I really liked his whole "Eren's crossed the line", now he's making the same mistake. A bitter irony, but does Isayama have time for that?
I'm really disappointed in Connie's "friends" for basically telling him to "chill out, you can't save your mother because we need to make our enemies happy". Hell no to that, I completely sympathize with Connie far more than his "friends" especially since Armin is being the world's biggest hypocrite
It's good because it now opens up the possibility of Connie finally getting his revenge on Zeke
My Boi Connie deserves his own plot-line, so I'm really excited
TITAN ACTION! BUT OF THE PURE AND AVERAGE VARIETY INSTEAD OF COLOSSALS, WHAT DID YOU THINK OF THAT AS THE FOCUS OF THE CHAPTER? 1,936 Responses
A chapter in the endgame thatâs almost reminiscent of the defense of Trost with respect to mindless titan action and defending a base. Â Despite many other happenings such as the rumbling going on currently, 46% were totally fine with the focus on mindless titan action and thought it was written well, whereas 35.6% enjoyed it, but wished there was a bit more beyond checking that box. Â 10.8% wanted a larger focus on the titans in the rumbling, and 5.5% would have preferred a focus shift away from Shiganshina entirely.
I love the fact that shows how prepared and easy fighting mindless titans is for them now. When the titans attacked Trost they were hopeless and Jean was the one frozen in fear. Now we get to see him clear up the titans with ease.
I think showing smaller happenings before the big reveal of Eren's titan and the effects of the rumbling are important buildup.
I would have rather focused on what's happening to Pieck and the others near the wall.
I didn't feel that was the focus, but either way, I liked it.
I wish more wouldâve happened outside of it BUT itâs important to show them being dealt with otherwise readers would be like âwait, what about all those people who turned into titans?â So not the best, but necessary.
I'm not crazy about fighting scenes, I prefer the ones where they discuss stuff, but these were really emotional with Shadis and Pixis and everything. Like, it wasn't even so much about fighting itself, for me at least, but about Shadis uniting people again and Armin setting Pixis free finally.
I wish the chapter had explored the idea of Titans appearing now that the Military has begun using weapons which are more effective against humans than Titans. I had thought that the reappearance of Titans would do much more damage since the Military is no longer equipped to handle such threats.
Reminds me of the Trost arc and I love it, but it will probably end up being the last time we see pure titans as this much of a threat.
I love the Season 1-esque fan service. How this series has evolved.
I just wished they didn't have to kill their comrades...C'mon this poll question is so heartless wth?
AFTER EREN GAINED THE FOUNDER, WHY WHERE THE MINDLESS TITANS STILL ATTACKING THE SOLDIERS? 1,944 Responses
Nearly half of the fandom are giving Eren the benefit of the doubt that he simply cannot control the titans, rather than not caring about them or using them. Although many believe that heâs too focused on other things to concern himself with them, and many others feel certain that mindless titans attacking the soldiers is part of his greater plan.
3 times it was mentioned that Eren/Zeke can't control the Titans, I think someone else is controlling them. Possibly Ymir, maybe we'll see Eren getting betrayed.
Eren can't control the mindless Titans because they're Zeke's Titans
It's highly likely the Founding Titan's power and control over Pure Titans has a collective effect of sorts. That is, it can turn Pure Titans back into humans, but if it did, it would happen to ALL Pure Titans, not just a specific group of them. It's possible that is how the Fritz royalty used the Pure Titans while maintaining the Eldian population during ancient times. Here, if Eren were to use that aspect of the Founding Titan's power, both the Military Branch Officer Titans AND the Wall Titans would be turned back into humans. Right now, Eren is bent on using the Wall Titans to flatten the World, so he most likely does not want to use the power of the Founding Titan to turn all the Pure Titans in Shingashina + Connie's mom into humans; otherwise, the Wall Titans would turn into humans again too, and that would ruin his rumbling plan.
Regarding Eren and the mindless titans, control issues aside, I just don't think he cares.
WHAT WAS THE MOST MEMORABLE TITAN KILL THIS CHAPTER? 1,968 Responses
In a chapter full of titan action, several titan kills stood out as both awesome and tear jerking. Â Just over half of respondents, at 51.6%, most remember Armin taking out Pixis after thanking him for his service to the cause. Â In a very narrow battle for second place, Keith Shadis sowing the recruits how itâs done won out over Gabi taking a cue from Sasha and saving Kaya.
All of them were pretty darn cool
Gabi's and Mikasa's tie for me
Hard to choose, they're all good
I didn't find any of them memorable if I May be honest
Can I choose all? Because I am.
It's a tie between Shadis arriving to save the recruits, Gabi saving Kayo from the Nile Titan, and Armin killing the Pixis Titan. If I was forced to pick, I'd say Armin's scene because of his sorrowful dialogue upon seeing Pixis as a Pure Titan and the flashback to one of Pixis's earliest highlights when he believed in Armin and Eren shortly after they first met.
Literally all of them what kind of sadistic question is this how could I possibly choose
Loved all the kills!!!
ALL OF THE ABOVE
THERE WAS A LOT OF DEBATE AS THIS CHAPTER WAS COMING OUT ABOUT GABI, AT THIS POINT DO YOU LIKE HER AS A CHARACTER IN THE STORY? 1,985 Responses
Nearly two-thirds of of the fandom currently enjoy Gabiâs overall character, despite what their first impressions may have been (65.1%) . Though there are still many who have yet to warm up to her, if they ever do (34.9%).
Gabi is beginning to grow on me enough I feel neutral about her.
Gabi is a LITTLE more favorable to me, but I still hate her and I wish she never existed. She can never earn forgiveness for Sasha.
gabi is good you guys are just mean
WHICH THOUGHT BEST MATCHED HOW YOU CURRENTLY FEEL ABOUT GABI? 1,977 Responses
One of the most controversial characters in the story is of course Gabi Braun, but what do fans truly think of her? Â Almost half, at 45.9% donât profess love for her character from the mountains, but understand why sheâs important to the story. Â In contrast, 19.6% firmly believe the story would be better off if she never existed, and 17.6% want to see even more of her in the upcoming chapters. Â 16.9% just think sheâs been in the spotlight a little bit too much.
Fuck Gabi, Eren will always be better, not this carbon copy Mary Sue
gabi fucking GANG
Such a great chapter! Iâm glad that the Gabi hate is stopping now.
Don't know why are people surprised about Gabi. Her closure with the Braus family is something I figured was gonna happen eventually. Guess Isayama wanted to get that out of the way early.
Of course my opinion of Gabi is unchanged. I still hate her no matter how much "development" she gets.
Gabi is a super uninteresting character to me
i really liked gabiâs character development in this chapter, especially since i was previously a gabi hater.
She is the new MC now. Upgrade.
I see why Gabi exists but sheâs just such a forced character. The parallel between her and Sasha was so forced and just felt wrong. Donât care about her killing Sasha her character is just a forced rehash of eren.
I'm disappointed in her as she is becoming more likeable
Gabi's character development finally completed in a brilliant way
Like Eren, she's fighting for people she cares about, even if she's wrong/vicious with her methods.
Iâm tired of Gabi
Really wish we wouldn't have Gabi shoved down our throats, she's not a good character, let alone person
I'm really proud of Gabi and how far she's come from her original POV. I'm really hoping that this influences Eren and I really hope Falco and Gabi get to reunite.
yams wants us to like her more
She has the same motivations as Eren once had, to save the world, basically.
I will admit Gabi has gone through a lot of development. But that doesn't mean I have to like her. I still hate her, and I will NEVER EVER forgive her for what she did to Sasha.
Gabi's haters being mad is so funny. My girl truly shined this chapter, I love her even more.
Gabi.... I feel like I would absolutely hate being around her irl but I guess I do appreciate her as a character in the story.
Never wanted to kill a child so badly in my existence
Death to Gabi Braun!
I don't hate Gabi enough to want her dead, but "too much spotlight" is the understatement of the year, especially when there is still a lot that has yet to be resolved with the main characters
She just wants to protecc
I love Gabi but she gets too much screen time at this point in the story. I want to see Historia and hopefully Eren later.
I LOVE GABI SO MUCH SHE IS THE BEST GIRL
I like Gabster. Gabi Gang Gabi Gang
Me no likey bad bad
NOW THAT ALL OF THE ORIGINAL BRANCH HEADS ARE GONE, WHO SHOULD BE IN CHARGE OF THE PARADIS MILITARY? 1,955 Responses
The head of all of Paradisian government, Darius Zackly, went out with a bang, and now weâve lost the interim head Pixis, as well as Nile Dok. Â Whoâs going to pick up the torch? Â Thereâs a big three that seem to have emerged as popular choices, with Jean winning out, Hange coming in second, and Shadis taking up third. Â
A combination of several people noted above.
Hanji+SC Armin+Garrison Jean+MP
Anyone but Floch
Jean. He's the only one that can view the Rumbling objectively and not rule it out as bad because their enemies are destroyed
Armin for strategy, Jean for leadership, Hanji for progress
Daz
Shadis should take over, but only untill Jean can get a little more experience leading.
As long as they agree Marley needs to be wiped out for the sake of Paradis, I'm okay with any leader that accepts that responsibility
Definitely not Hange. She wanted to make peace with Marley. Not leadership worthy at all.
Rico ;-;
Hange may be commander, but they are unfit for taking on as the head of the military. Same goes for Keith, though in this chapter he shows courage by stepping up to push the trainees to fight, I doubt he is willing to go back into a similar position as he was before as the Survey Corp's commander. Among the candidates, Armin may seem like a promising candidate, but aside from his proven intellect, just like Hange both do not possess the level of prowess of leading all three branches (four if count the training squad)of the military. More I think about it the "best" candidate in this list may surprisingly be Jean, but so far he hasnt been giving me the impression as someone who can take on such a massive role.

WHY DID FLOCH ARREST THE VOLUNTEERS? 1,903 Responses
The fandom is fairly divided on Flochâs motives, with a three-way split that comes close to being even. The highest amount of respondents feel he is arresting the Volunteers because he doesnât trust them based on past actions. In the middle, people feel that he doesnât want to be associated with any non-Eldian people. And in third place, people felt that he doesnât trust Yelena specifically, and is taking her group down with her.
As far as I've seen, Floch is on Eren's side, not Zeke's. So that would make Yelena, who hasn't heard about her boss and the euthanasia plan, dangerous as fuck. Even with that, Floch's following his own principles. He has different reasons than Eren, but he just needs the "devil" figure to project his own will.
He always knew Yelena and Zeke's intentions because of Eren, and now he's arresting them to prevent more trouble caused by them. I think Eren "trusts" and is working with Flcoh more than the fandom expect.
Because they conspired to sterilize/euthanize the Paradisians.
He's a completely inconsistent character whose personality and character motivations change at the drop of a hat in order to create conflict in the story.
He thinks Yelena can take over his position of the best Yeager fanboy and he can't have that.
He was never really on their side at all! Just like how Eren saw them - they were a means to an end, a useful tool but a dangerous one that could never really be trusted. Now that Eren has made his intentions clear and the ideological split is visible, he's fully turning on them and suppressing them from potentially pursuing their own agendas further.
Thereâs not enough room on Paradis for both of those eccentric hair cuts
GABI AND ARMIN BOTH SEEM INTERESTED IN PUTTING ASIDE THEIR DIFFERENCES: WILL THE SURVEY CORPS AND WARRIORS TEAM UP? 1,928 Responses
After having been warring factions since the beginning, will the warriors and Survey Corps finally team up as one? Â 62.9% feel a team up will happen, but not everyone from both sides will want to be involved, and a solid 30% believe a full team up is in the cards. Â Only 5.8% donât feel that itâs possible at this point.
Any cooperation will be a compromise, so maybe?
At this point I really don't know. Their passivity disappointed me fully this chapter. They need their TRUE leaders who are MIA at the moment.
I hope it happens but I think Armin is acting under Bert's influence
I hope not, it sounds lame.
i think maybe they will be forced to work together to stop the titans because they are attacking both sides.
It's the ideal scenario I suppose
Only until the Rumbling stops. After that, the SC needs to dispose of all the remaining Warriors to end the war for good.
PLEASE MAYBE REINER WILL GET SOME CLOSURE OUT OF IT
Probably but itâs waaay to clichĂŠ. Please donât Isayama
They'll team up to stop Eren, if that works they'll be enemies once again
Yes and Yes! I've been saying this for months: warriors and SC are going to have to work together. Magath is going to play a role in this too.
 ANNIE!! THOUGHTS: 1,948 Responses
91 chapters. Â 91 Months. Â 7 and a half years. Â Longer than we were with the characters pre-timeskip. Â Annie has been in a crystal, but now she's free! Â 33.4% think she came back at the perfect time and Isayama has nailed his writing once again. Â 18.4% are excited for her return, but donât feel thereâs much time left in the story for the wait to be worth it. Â 15.7% arenât worshippers at her crystal, and so arenât too hyped out of their minds. Â 29% however: A N N I E
akueeoekskfnfjyfjekqwiruuri MY GIRL IS BACK BITCHES, AND I NEED POST-AWAKENING MIKANNIE FANFICTION NOW
glad she's back but the plot has nothing for her to do anymore
How he brought her back makes perfect sense and I love it. If she chose to come out at this time rather than being forced, it would have been awkward and forced to be honest. But Eren taking away all hardening is the best way to bring her back AFTER SEVEN FUCKING YEARS.
glad to have her back but sceptical of her importance
go back into hibernation
Good in-story reason, great writing, but waited far too long. Not sure if she will even be relevent for the remainder of the story that already has a lot of loose ends.
Hentannie
I am not hyped because it took too long and the series has gone too far down a path I can no longer follow.
I DID MY WAITING! TWELVE YEARS OF IT! IN AZKABAN!
I don't know what Annie can do at this point of the story that will make her return worthwhile
I donât think Isayama and his editors would allow her to be brought back for a poor plot point/reason, so Iâm curious to see what role sheâll have.
I wasn't too concerned about Annie at this point in the story but I'm glad that her return makes sense with the events currently taking place and I'm interested to see what Isayama has planned for her.
I'm no fan of her so I'm not excited at all, but I assume she'll drive the plot somewhere soon.
She's got a lot of catching up to do. Concerned it won't be handled well.
The reasoning is sound, and I am glad that Isayama thought that part through, but we have a limited number of pages left, so I am worried about how this will play out.
Took too long so it ended up being very 'meh' for me, but congratulations Annie-stans, have a drink tonight
Should've been way sooner, her potential as a character feels wasted since we're almost done now. All she'll have time to do is get caught up on what happened and then have a couple reunions.
I honestly have no idea what Isayama plans to do with her but Iâm just GLAD SHES FINALLY FUCKING BACK!!!! MY BABY GIRL IS BACK!!!!
ANY THOUGHTS ABOUT WHAT ANNIE WILL DO NEXT? 675 Responses
Annie will have a run-in with Hitch, get things explained and head towards the main conflict.
Dare I say it, Assist With Arminâs Talk No Jutsu with Eren
"Run"
Definitely try to get to her dad.
Try to find her warrior friends
Determine her situation and act accordingly
She won't be too surprised at what Eren's become. She remarked how when the "good guys" take power, then it's all over to Marlowe in Season 1.
A girl can dream of her and Pieck being badasses.
All the titan shifters will come together (location-wise), it seem like a flag? Since all the shifter's powers is a part of Ymir herself, having them close might have significant meaning.
ANNIETHING
Be traumatized by manga spoilers? Wonder wtf happened?? Try to find Reiner??
Annie will join Eren.
Not give a shit about anything apart from Papa Leonhardt
Annie will play a huge role in stopping Eren, in some way.
be a badass like usual and FEMALE TITAN ACTION?????
Change her clothes because why is she wet
umm take a shower lol
Character development and teaming up against Ereh
I think Hitch will be the one to find her - she was in charge of guarding the crystal. I think she'll be too weak to fight right now though, so I'm worried that she's just going to be used as a Titan Shifter snack :(
Somehow affect Eren's mindset. Not sure exactly how.
Go kiss Armin pls
I'm hoping for Armin to transform into the Colossal Titan. Annie will see this thinking it's Bertoldt, and then have a good character moment upon finding out that Armin ate him.
Her endgame is to at least partially counteract the rumbling with her scream ability.
Confused --> Shocked --> Mad --> or all at the same time. Anyway, she will probably meet up with Armin and the gang and they will explain the shit situation to her and somehow they will come up with a plan or smth.
I think sheâll be forgotten about for a few chapters then show up in the battle. Itâll be interesting to see what side she takes at that point. Iâm sure someone will conveniently fill her in on the last few years.
She's a wild card, but the last we saw her she wanted to get back home. I'm sure she will be invested in saving the world from annihilation.
She is FAR away right now. I think dealing with Annie is a good wind-down after all this World-ending stuff has been dealt with, like when they save the Shire after defeating Sauron
Crystallize
Yeet to Marley and die with her papa.
Annie's first move will be to find a toilet sure she must be dying for a pee like
HOW HAS YOUR OPINION ON THE FOLLOWING CHARACTERS CHANGED?
Shadis, Jean and Gabi are the big winners in the opinion poll this month with the majority selecting âMore Favorableâ reaction to them. Shadis had 1379 respondents selecting âmore favorableâ, Jean had 1076 and Gabi came in third with 980. Fighting titans so soon after surviving a bear attack is impressive, so Iâm not surprised with these results. At the other end of the spectrum, Connie (542) and Floch (496) had the most number of âLess Favorableâ selections. While the good outweighed the bad, Gabi again proved to be polarizing with 432 people choosing âLess Favorableâ despite her positive development this month.
FAVORITE NEW TITAN DESIGN? 1,926 Responses
Isayamaâs nods to his television viewing habits continue with the appearance of the âBetter Call Saulâ titan. Our appreciation of Isayamaâs sense of humor continues with more than 50% of us selecting it as âFavorite New Titan Designâ (51.5%). Pixis was a distance second with close to a quarter choosing his titan form (23.7%) as their favorite.
Still laughing over the Saul Titan. Good ol' slippin' Jimmy
the Better call Saul titan looks more like Bolsonaro (Brazil's president)
one last hurrah to the Pure Titan mayhem the series was originally known for, and witnessing the tragic end to Nile and Pixis
WHAT ARE YOU HOPING TO SEE NEXT CHAPTER? 1,926 Responses
The three elements of the story which have been absent for months, or even years, take the top overall votes for what the fandom would like to see next. 33.6% are dying to see present-day Levi and Hange again. 24.1% are still eager to get Historiaâs perspective. 23.6% are still hoping to one day see Erenâs inner thoughts.
All I want for Christmas....Is Historias POV
I'm missing Connies adventure on the 'What are you hoping to see next chapter?' question.
Bitch give me Levi. Itâs been more than half a year.
I literally only care about the 104th characters so the more of them we can see next chapter the better
Give me more Eren action pleaseee
So why is Annie pov not an option for next chapter?
I have waited for 7 years, finally, Annie is back. I wanna see more of her story and  character development. I cant wait to see her conversation with Hitch and Armin!
Please Isayama give me more good Shadis content
I really want to see Eren's full complete titan. Issayama, stop blueballing us please!
I would actually like to know more about that spine creature that is evidently the source of Titans.
Is there a Kiyomi option?
WHERE DO YOU PRIMARILY DISCUSS THE SERIES? 1,843 Responses
With close to 200,000 members itâs no surprise that Reddit continues to dominate the discussion field (47.7%), followed distantly by Tumblr (15.5%), Real Life (9.8%) and Discord (6.7%). Amazingly, 9% donât discuss it at all. This month, FIVE of you said Snapchat, up from four last month, so while thereâs still technically a possibility that you guys are actually forming some weird snapchat cult and this isnât an elaborate psyop, Iâm still not convinced. But regardless of where you discuss the series, or if you even do, we truly appreciate your participation in the chapter poll!
 ADDITIONAL COMMENTS? 416 Responses
OMG! Okay, it's happening! Everybody stay calm! Annie! Annie! Annie!
Annie got crystalized in chapter 33, and now she's out, 91 chapters later. Since 12 chapters are published in a year, we have been waiting for her (not including flasbacks and her just chilling in the crystal) 7 years and 7 months. I salute all the diehard Annie fans, you had a long wait.
Once again I have marked my calendar. May 9, 2012 - December 5, 2019. After 7 excruciating years our queen is FINALLY awake. This deserves a new record for longest amount of time a character has been comatose in real life. Thank GOD it's finally over I still can't believe it.
I'm a big fan of all of the smaller storylines coming together, hoping for everything to be wrapped up nicely and characters from different factions (i.e Hange, Annie, Historia) all coming together to address the rumbling.
It felt a little like a breather chapter, despite all the action. It was nice to slow down and get some character development for everyone.
âEveryone has a devil in themâ is a great message. Hope they all team up and stop Eren. Very curious about what Annie will do!
The parallels to Trost arc were nice, but I felt like the endgame was finally amping up only to be put on hold.
Great chapter! I like Pathland, and the flashback with Levi and Hanji was great, but it was a relief to get some current time action. Gabi is best girl, Armin just went up by leaps and bounds in my book, and Annie is back!! So excited for the next chapterâŚ
Great one ! The fear from the mindless titans in back, like in Trost. Many side characters development/deaths (Nile, Pixis, Shadis, Kaya, Nicolo, Gabi, Annie, Connie, Jean...). So much good stuff, I almost forgot about the rumbling going on !!
Amazing. If Isayama maintains this quality til the end, then this will be one of my favorite series, of any media, ever.
I'm wondering what Annie can realistically do at this point. Sure she beat Eren before but now he's in another level.
Guess we don't have to deal with the genocidal jock for a while
REINER HELOS BRAUN WILL SAVE THE WORLD (after his power nap)
ANNNIIEEEEE; Shadis' comeback was wonderful. I hope he can make up for the loss of Pixis and Erwin and such. He has great potential and he's a well developed character. Jean is asking the real questions, but the showdown between him and Floch is about to go down.
I said previously that if Floch survives I wanted my money back. But you know what? I'll take my refund in Annie store credit. Thanks for that bright spot, Isayama! Â Also: this chapter pointed out how many good people in the world will suffer if Eren succeeds. And I felt as frustrated with the remnants of the 104th as Gabi. Nicolo and Shadis became my unexpected heroes this chapter.
Is Zeke still alive? Is he still controlling the mindless titans?
Floch didnât do anything particularly bad this chapter but every time I have to see his face my opinion of him becomes less favorable. When Jean said âso you lived...â I FELT that disappointment lol.
I love the Braun siblings interaction in this chap. And Nicole's "we'll try to get out of the forest" sends chills. I think that's one of the point ISTM is trying to get across.
Does Connie realise that if his mother was given one of the nine titan powers she would be made to fight? Getting one of the titan powers is very much a curse not a blessing (especially with the Jaw titan)
At this point the Eren/Gabi parallels are feeling a little overdone and forced.
If Gabi receives Erenâs Titan it will be the stupidest most disappointing thing to happen in this- no all of manga! Besides, what is the damn point of her âparallelingâ Eren anyways? But the Sasha paralleling was even more gnarly YUCK!
It's true that the people of Paradis will benefit from this shit, but I highly disagree with any justification when it comes to Eren's horrible actions. GENOCIDE IS NEVER THE OPTION. I think Jean is disappointed too but he's trying his best to rationalize the crap Eren's carrying out for he still doesn't want to believe his friend is committing genocide. I expect he comes back to his senses soon otherwise I no longer will appreciate him as a character.
That "who are you most disappointed" will sadly be filled with Armin hate tbh. And in the end he was just wanting to avoid unnecessary conflict... tbh Anyone hating on Connie, Gabi and Armin doesn't seems to know how humans emotion work in helpless situations...
What Yams is doing to Connie is further proof he is ruining his main characters (the good ones) to make room for his precious Marley characters (the crappy ones)
Connie's regression and frustration was more and more visible since Sasha died. He's lost everyone close to him. I am happy to see him finally snap at Armin and go his own way. This was foreshadowed for a while now.
I hope Isayama sensei doesn't forget to include World Millitary's raid in the action. They already mention in some previous chapter by Zeke.
Quantity-wise, the chapter wasn't centered around Gabi, okay. But. BUT. Gabi got quite a few powerful scenes, very Gabi-centric scenes, and I'm not happy about that. I don't see how and why the fandom so easily forgave her for what she's done. Isayama drawing parallels between Gabi and Sasha was insulting and distasteful.
It is highly likely that this is the last time we are going to see Pure Titan mayhem in the series now that the Rumbling is taking place, so I think it was great to that focus in this chapter. I thought it was handled well, especially with Shadis's scenes, the parallel of the new recruits seeing the Pure Titans peaking through the hole of the fortress tower much like a similar scene in the Trost arc, the tragedy of seeing Pixis and Nile (two of the last remaining head honchos of the military not counting Hange and Shadis) as Pure Titans and getting killed off for good, and how characters like Armin and Jean fought those Pure Titans. Â
WARMASTER FLOCKE, TO LEAD THE ARMIES OF ELDIA TO VICTORY! Haha no I guess not. I'm torn between Flocke, Jean, Eren, and Shadis. All could be good picks but all outcomes would have different implications on the story and what it means. I guess if I had to pick, it'll be Shadis or Eren for now and then perhaps Jean later when things have settled and they've grown up more.
I honestly can't keep up with how many faces Floch has.
With how the pacing is handled there's no way this is ending in 6 chapters. The real climax is Eren having to go against his friends because there's no way in hell Mikasa is allowing him to genocide kids
As heartbreaking as this chapter has been, I already had my hopes destroyed when 119 was released. Today has been the confirmation for two awesome characters, who fell because of the non-veteran rule. I don't know why I still hope to see Keith staying alive, but at least we got an awesome moment of his.
Characters are being balanced relatively well. Isayama's got a lot of characters and plot threads to deal with, and while Levi, Hange and Historia are getting less focus than I would like, I think he's doing a pretty good job of keeping each character relevant and giving them all some good arcs/ moments
Everything (except for Gabi scenes) was perfect for me!
Eww Gabi-focused chapterâŚ
I simply hate how cowardy the 104th is acting. It's clear they're only fighting in their own interest and are just pulling excuses after excuses for supporting Eren. At least Floch is honest about it.
Man, the 104th always been the group I care the less in the story, but this chapter they're being so annoying (apart from Mikasa). Well, I can forgive Connie because of everything he went through, but Jean... why are you saying this ""there was no other choice, eren is protecting us"" bs ? Nice of you to be complicit of mass genocide. (Yes, I know his face shows he's conflicted, but he still sides with eren) Also Armin... at least he's horrified at what's Eren's doing but when he said that if they don't kill Falco there would be no conflict with the warriors since Marley will be gone....that's just dumb. Their home and families are going to be destroyed, but ok Armin, go off. And getting into another serumbowl situation, with one of my fave uncounscious while the SC decides who will eat him... I don't like it. (I don't think Falco will be eaten tho, the whole thing raised many death flags on Connie)
Great chap, Isayama seems to finally give closure to certain plot parts. End is near.
Here's a crazy idea: feed GABI to Connie's mom instead of Falco, there would be nowhere near as much arguing with that
Highlights that people can rise above their conditions to become better people, offering a counterargument that humanity should be wiped out.
I don't get why the story pacing was disrupted so much. Why build up to a climatic cliffhanger with the rumbling, only to basically ignore it for the entire following chapter?
I honestly wonder if titan shifting still works as it used to. I'm afraid of seeing Falco get eaten for nothing. Honestly I'm worried about Falco dying for nothing while people right over him as a pawn in general.
Quite interesting chapter. Had fun with it. Much, much slower paced than expected almost. But then again we need time to cover all this stuff. And I'm happy it all took place in the current rather than another flashback. Not really a fan of the Gabi stuff but it is what it is. The other character developments were quite nice. Reiner literally just falling asleep tho lol. Overall I guess I wouldn't say it's a "big" chapter but it is necessary to bridge what came before with whatever comes next. And at long last Annie is back, so that's GLORIOUS.
I hope Annie will have such a big role she gets repaid for the all years she's been goneđ
I hope Isayama uses the slowdown in the pace to better sell the scale of the rumbling, we already see part of that by hoe Eren's dino titan still isnt complete, even after all this time
I love how the story is progressing. The next chapter is always something I personally don't expect and it's always exciting. The hype at the beginning/end of the month is unreal. As for the chapter itself, it's always refreshing to see Jean's perspective on Eren's plans because I love his interpretations on him. #TEAMJAEGER
i love my waifu annie i missed her so much
I love you Connie and I'm sure your mom is nice and all but Falco is a precious bean who needs to be protected.
I really hated the Gabi-Sasha and Gabi-Eren parallels. I also still think Gabi was never needed in this story, in fact I donât know how Iâll be able to stomach season 4. Ugh, the first half will be completely and utterly Gabified. Gabi in color and motion plus speaking, YUCK! Â Anyways I hope that the next chapter will have an update on Hange, Levi, and Historia. And maybe Floch getting punched by Shadis that would be the Cherry on top.
It was an average chapter, not bad but nowhere near as good as the previous ones. Plus I'd appreciate if other characters, outside of Gabi, had more spotlight. Her arc and development is done, give more development and screentime to other characters such as Mikasa please.
Just being disappointed. The pacing is very slow. Also the main cast's reactions were too passive. I hated it.
Just great. Just great. The drawings were incredible and the plot just keeps getting better.
Less Gabi, more Historia!
Levi and Hange better return in some way, shape, or form, or Yam's is in for it.
Levi is the new Annie
Love getting to see thoughts from many different characters and where they stand. A lot of them are still left behind trying to rationalise things to make it emotionally palatable, or simply stuck not being able to accept the reality, whereas Gabi has kind of gone ahead and realised there's evil on both sides, and she's willing to kill Eren or work with him if she can best protect the people she cares about (eventually probably not just her friends and family either, but the outside Eldians as a whole).
My baby is back!!!!!!!! I wanna see more of ANNIE!!!!!!
Nicolo talking to Kaya and Gabi was cringey af. Did they really do back to that derpy forest analogy? If this series ends with them holding hands and singing around a campfire imma legit be so disappointed. I need me my Rumbling!
This chapter felt like a nostalgia trip, but I wasn't in for the ride. It was a mess of short catching-up moments when I just want to pick Eren's brain. I want to see Levi and Hange alive or hear what Annie and Historia think about the events, but at the moment I don't care about even those storylines. I just want to know what the relationship between Ymir and Eren is now that the walls came down.
The first panel being Mr. Leonhart was a pretty strong indicator to me that Annie would be released in the last panel, and it was. I felt that to be extremly poetic, and the timing is good too. Another wildcard in the plot. Excellent.
Compared to the previous chapter, this one turned out to be very disappointing. I was excited to see the rumbling and getting a glimpse of Erenâs thoughts and feelings. But instead I got Reiner going to sleep, Gabi being paralleled to Eren (again) and Sasha, the 104th busy arguing over what to do with Falco instead of, you know, focusing on THE RUMBLING
Good chapter, but if S4 is the final season and airs Autumn 2020, and with a monthly release, curious as to how isayama might tie up these "last minute" plot threads such as the new developments with Connie and Falco.
What else can I say except it's amazing and it was worth the wait
Where is Levi damnit

Roseburg
Okay, Roseburg. Itâs the capital of the southern Oregon timber industry, which fell hard with the end of harvesting on federal lands in the early â90s.
Itâs got a population of 20,000, in a town center at a bend in the river and several residential neighborhoods, with more modern retail north of the city center around I-5. Several thousand more live in outlying areas, and Roseburg is seat of Douglas County stretching to the coast counting 110,000 population in total.
The airport offers no scheduled passenger service. Flights to major mountain west cities are available 83 miles to the north or 90 to the south; equivalent service is available 15 miles from Bend.
The only college in the area is a community college.
The town center, oriented around a âcoupletâ (parallel one-way streets) for a Main Street in Oregon tradition, has government buildings and a roughly five square block downtown. The downtown is early-20th century in character, solid frontages of storefronts with 1-2 stories of residential above, with churches, banks, and apartment buildings on the periphery.
The downtown is not pedestrianized, but has been designed for cars to park on the periphery. One block of storefronts is block-through, with entrances on each of two opposing sides. Many storefronts are empty. Several bars and restaurants are active, with a few (plus a co-working space) that look to have opened recently. Other stores remain looking a little out-of-time, and several storefronts have been occupied by nonprofits, street-level offices, or enterprises that look to create low returns while occupying high spatial volume. A gym occupies one sizeable space, two large markets stand empty. Despite this emptiness, only the markets look truly dilapidated; others have intact windows and clean interiors and reasonably fresh paint and facades. Scattered throughout are several civic monuments and monumental-looking fraternal lodges.
Sloping away from this downtown, the town center contains more stores, warehouses, restaurants, and bars. On the I-5 corridor, several hotels and travel-oriented businesses serve the freeway, mostly north of the town center.
- - -
So, in some ways this is kind of what Iâd been expecting to like - a resource extraction town for a collapsed industry, leaving a fully built-out but intact infrastructure ripe for use. With poor flight connections to finance centers and a local economy still tapering off as the legacy population drifts away, an obvious hope is to market the small-town experience to internet workers or others who generate resources in a way that doesnât require an existing resource base in physical proximity, while in the interim, the courthouse, the remaining private-lands timber industry, and the highway services support a basic level of services.
The maintained facades, the nonprofit offices occupying storefronts, and the general effort to keep downtown looking active suggest a level of coordination by local elites in support of the cityâs viability.
- - -
And itâs⌠Cascadia. Itâs green but at the same time younger than the east coast or rust belt - the wilderness hasnât been carved into as much, the people not guarded, exhibit the good down-home parts of âcountryâ without much ânarrow-minded bumpkinâ.
Many stores and bars have signs at the doors saying to take hoodies off, no backpacks, no tweekers, this site recorded on camera. There are at many points one to three people who are obviously homeless or on drugs in view. A Greyhound bus stopped in front of one dilapidated market and disgorged 7 vagrant-looking people. Every day the city police log lists like 6 arrests. On sites where these mugshots are compiled and shared around you see these are usually about heroin, meth, thefts to buy heroin or meth, or parole violations by people with convictions about heroin or meth. Even among apparently functional people working behind counters and bars, there are more facial scabs than you expect.
There is, frankly, an absurd level of pro-military sentiment. Signs in all sorts of windows, military discounts everywhere, banners from some past event benefiting some charity for military families. A veteranarianâs office is painted with the American flag, silhouettes of dogs and soldiers saluting or wearing helmets. I wondered if there had been a military base closed nearby because even after a week traveling through much more âredâ-than-Portland country I had seen more of that stuff but nothing near that level. I never saw any murdered-out trucks or Punisher skulls or Black Rifle Coffee or 5.11 or any other military-adjacent aesthetic, though. Wearing Chinese-replica BDU pants, I was sporting more of a tactical look than anyone I saw.
Douglas County gave 64% of its vote to Trump in 2016.
- - -
The clear signs of people coming together to keep downtown appealing, all the monuments, the particular aesthetic of the places catering to a downtown crowd (and of that crowd itself), the legacy of what youâd expect from timber barons and their clerks⌠I was like âoh I get this, thereâs a strong country-club Republican strain.â
Knowing that the regionâs forest workers were pretty radical (thatâs an important thing about Oregon, its normative rural experience isnât of yeoman farmers but forest workers) I was wondering when I was going to get a sign of that, eventually I realized the yay-military stuff was the expression of class solidarity I was looking for.
Knowing both of those I turned to the addicts and fuckups and was like âohh, youâre the third player in this drama, the unvirtuous poor that the virtuous poor and white collar types can bond over identifying againstâ.
A good deal of the nonprofits taking up space downtown seem to be the prison-industrial-complex type, the therapy or treatment you get sentenced to, designed to employ the first group turning the third into the second.
- - -
Seeing Roseburg makes some things about Portland make sense. That, say, when timber collapsed some of the âworkerâ types or their kids moved to, or stayed in Portland and brought the ethic to food service.
Traditional Oregon is weirdly exclusive, had an anti-Californian sentiment in particular but Iâve heard stores from Washingtonians about getting their cars pelted with rocks in the 80s, the stateâs most famous statement of boosterism included a direct request not to move here.
Thereâs very much a sense that Portland has become swollen with non-Oregonians who seek to impose themselves on traditional, rural, Oregon, I could see a distaste towards any idea of making Roseburg more Portlandish. Â
When I walked in to look at the co-working space (itâs really just a period office building with individual offices) I overheard a guy saying that he could accept if they just made up a list of the guns it was okay to buyâŚ
And the thing about a strong local elite invested in the future of your town is the town is under the control of a strong local elite with an interest in its future, presumably wanting to keep or develop it as its own playground.
At the same time, whoever owns all those buildings would very much like to see them filled at competitive rates  Iâm sure, and property owners are the backbone of any local elite. (I do not know the in-town landholdersâ relationship to the woodland barons.)
- - -
So. Promising. Itâs a charming Portland-in-miniature, houses are still available in the $100s and apartments at $500/br/mo. Between empty and underused space thereâs maybe 10 years of solid expansion before all the slack has been taken up, and by all appearances the local system would love to see it happen and has no better pitch than quality-of-life-experience, being what Portland was in the 90s.
(Even the class system isnât terribly off, a lot of the âPortlandiaâ years were about importing a middle class to fit between the old money in the West Hills and the retreating border of âFelony Flatsâ across the river to the east.)
That said itâs not abandoned just waiting for my guiding hand, there are preexisting power structures and culture to accommodate or challenge. And if undermining the local culture is the last thing I want - itâs what appeals to me, and the loss of which Iâm mourning in Portland â Iâm already thinking âokay thatâs honestly too Republican, but thatâs the only way to end up with a tolerable culture after it floods with creatives so heyâ.
This is assuming it does take off, which I honestly think is a good assumption, as the big west coast cities fill up and cascade down (in the interim, look at Olympia, Visalia, Sacramento, Eugene, and Fresno) but isnât inevitable. Oregon environmental laws and declining influence of Republican state legislators could further undermine the rural economy. Things could just keep declining past the point of being able to keep up appearances - the VA hospital just closed its emergency room, and there are two more in the area but the reasoning was the difficulty of recruiting and maintaining specialized staff, and thatâs a bad sign.
Maybe Iâm just psyched to see an authentically Cascadian town again and I should check out some others before getting swept away, in Oregon alone Iâm still virgin on Albany, McMinnville, Forest Grove, and Coos Bay.
Still, I dunno. Might be a site for a good life.

Existential Crisis Management of a Pregnant Woman, a copy from FB
A quick questionnaire for the early birds: *Spoiler Alert: includes existential crisis management of a pregnant woman. Yes, this is my first time mentioning it openly: I am 7 months pregnant with a baby girl, guys! (acupuncture rocks, but it's a different story)
So, Questions: - Did you sleep well tonight? - How much money/time/knowledge would you (personally you) be willing to donate to a cause that helps you sleeping/breathing better? (My own answer down the bottom)
I couldn't sleep, cause it was the hottest night of the year in our region.
Most people would agree, that it is not a great start of Friday to wake up at night from a weird dream, sweaty and gasping for air and some water. Makes it even a bit worse, if the baby is kicking your like a wild whale, while you are at it.
In the spirit of the obvious climate change and naturally hoping for the survivable future, my head was wondering: WHAT CAN I DO?
I mean, I am asking myself this question pretty often, some days more than others. Living a busy/interesting life in the busy world, keeps us all preoccupied with a day to day activities and tasks. Sorting this tasks is already impressive enough.
But, yes, in the end of the day, to perform my amazing tasks I need: oxygen, water, food and a few more things... oxygen is pretty up high on the list.
And apparently (based on the last Greta's video â and all the current research) we are getting far too much CO2 in here. Not sure, if we will have less oxygen persey, but it is getting harder to breath.
So, there are a lot of projects out there focused on reducing/extracting/etc CO2 from the air. Most scientist seem to agree that there is no one solution: we need them all and now, cause the clock is ticking.
Trees are pretty good at absorbing the co2, making o2. Also they look nice, create shade and wonderful furry creatures live in it. So, I like trees/forests.
There seem to be quite a few projects out there to reforestate/safe exciting trees. I will be honest, I haven't financially supposed any yet.
I mean, I am pretty standard: I recycle, try to consume less, use public transport, try not to fly, try to eat regional/seasonal/no palm oil and so on. Most of my friends are like this, as far as I am concerned.
But waking up at night gasping for air is not fun. So: WHAT CAN I DO? First of all: survive. I did! Yay! Baby seems to be ok too.
Now, shall we: 1. - support an existing project to make/save trees, etc? 2. - shall we organise our own project? 3. - do both
1. There are plenty of good small/medium projects out there. And each drop of goodness counts.
My CONSTANT issues with donating money are: - Je, it takes time to read through every website and their goals/etc. It takes hours and I still don't feel sure, ever. - Where do the money go? - How much of donated money are actually used for the cause? - Do they actually help or make poorer poor and rich richer? The road to hell is paved with good intentions. So I am very anxious about this one.
2. I canât get this annoying idea out of my head, that it would be lovely to have a global pot of money. Cause I am not a millionaire, but I have some money. I am happy to share for a good cause.
A pot, where: - you just give, what you want to give. - It is madly transparent, so first thing first: you can see in real time how much money is in it, how much is spent, where the money went. - say once a week there is a vote which cause will be supported/how much money will be given to it. - it is mainly run by volunteers. So most money are saved. I mean, I will speak for myself: I am quite happy to share/ invest a few hours of week to a cause for free, share my knowledge with the world for the common good. I think most of people are. So, we will need lawyers, IT specialist, admins, bankers, gardeners, lol - everyone really.
3. Do both, which is probably best.
I personally would be ready to donate 30-50% of what is in my bank account for a transparent/volunteer-based project like planting/saving/taking care of trees globally.
What do you think?

TP request for Every Woman Exchange because an âorâ matching signup with 10 characters or groups is bound to be a wordy business!
Doris Truman
Group: Audrey Horne & Laura Palmer
Group: Laura Palmer & Donna Hayward
Group: Laura Palmer & Sarah Palmer
Group: Norma Jennings & Shelly Johnson & Heidi & Miriam Sullivan
Denise âfuck you AO3 canonicalâ Bryson
Diane Evans
Laura Palmer
Lucy Moran
Margaret "The Log Lady" Lanterman
Tamara "Tammy" Preston
Feel free to mix and match these characters, anything from Tammy interviewing Doris to Denise getting Lucy a drink would be amazing. I also love all their usual cohorts, so Doris and Harry in the woods or Diane and Albert - or heck, Diane and Phil, unanimously voted Philadelphia's Most Glamorous - or Tammy and her FBI dads is all cool as long as the focus remains on the girls. Tammy regrets in TFD that she couldn't meet Margaret? Let Tammy meet Margaret somehow, by golly! You can't really go wrong with gen combinations if you get any cool idea you want to explore. All these prompts are just suggestions. I like magical realism and American Gothic and flat-out surrealism so anything canon-like is great, but also a sitcom take on any group of colleagues, or a smarmy moment played teeth-rottingly straight (which is also canon-like, hah), some found family feels, you name it.
(the order is just me copypasting the tagset)
Doris: I wish her the best and hope that she'll find a way to amicably divorce Frank, or take a deep breath away from each other, heal through other people... there was also a message on Hastings' website from a regular reader that was just signed "Doris" so I headcanon her as an UFO enthusiast, if you want to play with that. I like to think that Albert will drop everything and stay in town after TPTR, and I swear by the fact that both he and Doris need a lot of cathartic shouting, for opposite reasons (she has a lot of pain and frustration to let out, he needs to stop being dead inside). So a good, cathartic shouting match could be a fun fic or art if you like the idea.
Laura & Donna: post-canon meetup post-canon meetup post-canon meetup!! Somehow. Dreams, shifted realities, straight-up 'Carrie' driving up to Vermont to find her Donna again. Shippy or not, I just want closure for them. Or any kind of Laura&Donna fic is great, I've loooved basically everything I've read for them.
Norma&Shelly&Heidi&Miriam: I love the RR microcosm! Sweet and supportive and just so /good/. Good for Norma for snatching the ever-so-rare happy ending and I'm glad Heidi got painted in a much more positive light this time round! And our heroic Miriam! My first thoughts go to either Shelly working through her Red problem with the help of the other girls, or Miriam triumphantly getting the pie Shelly and Heidi wanted to get her. But anything RR-centric is great. idk, a collection of drabbles with different customers (established characters or otherwise) coming in? Or something else still!
Denise: she was FBI all along so she can be friends with all the rest of the FBI cast! What a wonderful retcon. So tell me everything about Denise and Diane, Denise and Albert, Denise and Tammy... Denise and Cooper in the hopefully-not-so-distant future... she's so warm and charming, she just lights up any scene. Denise in Twin Peaks during s2 or Denise back in Twin Peaks years later for whatever reason is also great!
Diane: putting herself back together? I'd love a post-finale journey of self-discovery (or an episode thereof, for shorter fic or single pieces of fanart), slipping out of the Linda identity (whatever that's about), accepting/reclaiming her tulpa, and even that split self we saw outside the motel... or! Fun times with Janey-E! Why can't they stand each other? Is it because they're both kind of complicated people to be around? Is it because Janey was the only one who figured something was wrong when Diane got tulpa'd? Diane and Albert's frendship warms my heart, and it's fun to imagine Tammy trying to connect with her even after she got barked at. Or Void Club with Annie and Audrey, where they're not gonna talk about Dale Cooper, in fact they're not gonna talk about Dale Cooper at all...
Laura: finding her angels again please? Or in any situation - in the Lodge or in whatever sort of surreal road trip she and Cooper ended up in - that's closer to the Laura in Between Two Worlds, the woman who's walked through fire and made it to the other side, Laura with her eyes sparkling and that impossible Mona Lisa smile. Any moment where she gets to shine and tower over everything and everyone else. As an aside: I did not request Laura&Audrey because I figured that anyone offering it would ship it, and I very much do not, and I didn't want to inconvenience anyone who hoped to match on them because of the ship. BUT I came to the realization that I am in fact pretty invested in s gen reading of what Audrey saw in Laura, how she resented her but also idolized her and tried to follow in her footsteps until she got burned at One-Eyed Jack's. So what if they met after canon, how would a grown-up Audrey confront her old idea of Laura, would she see the real person behind that image, and would it help her come to terms with some of her own crap?
Lucy: Kimmy Robertson said she would like to be the color blue in Lynch's palette, if the prompt works for you. I love Lucy taking her time to understand and organize the world around her, I love her with Andy, with Wally, with Maggie Brown and the rest of the new sheriff's station cast, and I love it when people who don't usually appreciate her (both sheriffs and Albert come to mind) have to come to terms with the fact that she's amazing. I also like that Hawk is a first-class gossip, apparently, and so is Lucy, so if THAT prompts works for you...
Margaret: Margaret and the woods, Margaret and Hawk, Margaret and Laura always... Margaret and Shelly, Margaret and Audrey!, Margaret trying to impress Norma as per that one Log Lady intro... young Margaret and the Truman boys, or an older Margaret still with the Trumans, and sometimes maybe there's only one Truman and sometimes they are very distinct, oh well c'est la vie.
Tammy: I like to take the difference between her book self and show self as a straight-up character trait, that she's way more reserved in person than she is in writing. Any fic based on this duality would be great for me. Other than that, throw her at literally any character and I'll be thrilled to read it. I love how she looks up to Albert and just kind of follows him around like a baby duckling, I love the possibilities of Denise mentoring her, I love how she's the next generation of Blue Rose and hopefully the first one that won't fuck up majestically and I wonder if Gordon realizes it as he lets her learn the ropes at her own pace, I love possible "passing of the torch" scenarios with Cooper where he's so proud of her, or Laura sharing her secrets. Or let her be lace buddies with Shelly or look into a supernatural case with Cynthia or find Audrey or whatever! Yay Tammy!
Ship-wise, my big ships are Laura/Donna, Laura/Ronette and the Brennans. I also ship Shelly and Bobby and hope they can sort it out. And I'm curious to explore Tammy/Cynthia, /Audrey, /Candie, and/or getting a supernatural smooch from Laura. And while it's got zilch to do with this exchange, for the sake of full disclosure, all sides of Dale/Albert/Harry.
DNWs: unrequested ships, especially my NOTPs (Coop with Audrey, Annie - sheâs a bit more complicated than NOTP but for the sake of a clear signup letâs just veto it..., Janey-E, Diane and Laura. Shelly/Gordon, Tammy/the rest of her coworkers twice her age), character bashing, s3 negativity

Episode 4 -Â "The show must go on" ~Kevin
Mutiny:Â https://hollowbastionsurvivor.tumblr.com/post/630277130686742528/announcement
Mutiny Results:Â https://hollowbastionsurvivor.tumblr.com/post/630281668546134016/announcement-mutiny-results
Tribal Immunity:Â https://hollowbastionsurvivor.tumblr.com/post/630281797053415424/tribal-immunity-4
Ellie mutinies to Heartless. Everyone is shocked as they saw her in a really good position on the tribe
Jessica mutinies to Heartless because she knows that she is next on the chopping block
Colin mutinies to Nobody to cause chaos. Ellie tells him to side with Kim, and he tells her and Dylan to protect Christina
i'm sad colin left. but the show must go onÂ
*All speculative prose (I do not know anything đ)* So I feel bad. I think Colin may have gone because Colin thought I was. The problem is he did not talk to me beforehand?!? Like Colin and were talking about it and then COVID and then the edit logic... And I was busy talking to people and the new tribe members. I hope I did not screw over Colin after hearing how it is over there. At least here *every* one is faking it. ...and he was gone. Not sure Colin will be happier there, but hope so.Â
~~~~~
Ellie forms a bond with Emma and wants to work with her despite her messiness
Pretty confident, I screwed over Colin. I apologize to Colin and to what I may have done to his game. I will feel guilty about this for a long time. Even if I am wrong, I still feel like I missed something with it being so crazy. Regrettably, Emma
I canât find an idol to save my life now lmao nor can I figure out how to stop failing a part of it đ We won the immunity challenge AGAIN! Iâm really proud of the tribe for this one because it was such a pain in the ass đ There was also an opportunity to mutiny and Colin took it! The chaos pull was strong for him lol. I really almost went too, but I heard negative things about the guys on nobody tribe soooo thatâs a no from me. Heartless Tribe gained two people, which gives me another shot at building bonds. This immunity challenge weâre doing now is really fun tbh. We have to complete units of Japanese on Duolingo! I think we can win this one. If we donât, there are a lot of people to choose from đ¤
~~~~~
Emma gets really paranoid about all the people who are talking
Fairly sure Dylan is holding the tribe in this challenge, but think Jessica will do a lot today. Weary of new people, of course, lol. They both are new to the tribe, and Ellie is super chill. We can talk about anything, so glad for her! Amy and I should have just done it. I do not think that this majority/minority wants to go tribal, and then the others do. So I am prepared for tribal. And I am staying silent to everyone else. The people playing in this are supposed to be my allies. I want this to be true. I wish I did not speculate as much as I do.
Lord please keep me from losing my shit on Emma. She is legit the messiest person alive and I cannot wait to vote her out. She consistently sends the wrong people the wrong chats and then wildly tries to pretend the messages are meant for them. Sheâs always in everyoneâs business about challenges and idols and freaking out if people donât talk for a few minutes. I will say this. If it goes to tribal, this vote goes to Emma because I canât deal with her stress anymore.Â
ăăăŤăĄăŻ !! Liking this new tribe. I wish Kim switched over. Things are going well I think. Need to talk to more people and find out the scoop of everything. Things seem calm? Probably because they havenât voted anyone out. Hopefully we win the challenge because Iâve been learning Japanese all day and this girl is tired.Â
~~~~~
Results:Â https://hollowbastionsurvivor.tumblr.com/post/630371332666867712/duolingo-results
WOOOOO WE WON. I have to admit it does feel good to win. And why yes raffy, I will enjoy my night off.Â
Yay Kevin! Yay our whole Heartless Tribe! Just, yay!
~~~~~
Christina and Kevin did amazing! Super proud of them because I know they both worked hard/love languages. This Immunity Challenge solidified (maybe) some stuff with Kevin and Christina being in this for the tribe. I am just going to try and be cautious. This will likely fail. đ Ellie's amazing addition. I think, overall, we are relieved. Party!!! đĽłđ´đđ

Emma believes Amy is lying to her about something, calls out people in the tribe chat, and gets increasingly frustrated by people not answering her within 5 minutes.

Seriously hope Dylan/Kevin sent Colin over as a "spy" (since they have played together). I do think if I was faster as processing things that I would have made two different decisions, regardless of Colin's intentions. 1. Would have messaged closest allies and said I was going for sure. 2. Would have messaged Hosts I was going.

Friday was so crazy! I'm still in shock over Colin switching tribes, that was so unexpected. I really liked getting to know him. Also I don't really like the new People. Ellie seems sweet but she really is too sweet, it's almost ingenuine. Jessica just seems rude. I mean she waited until 2 days after switching to this tribe to talk to me. I had to talk to her. Like, who does that? Especially after mutineeing from a tribe. You should be on high alert. Jessica is a no bueno for now, but we'll see.
~~~~~
Ellie wants to work with Emma as they bonded over their similar chaos energy. She realizes that a lot of people are after Emma due to her messiness in general
Missing kin hours :(( Still I really like my new tribe!! Everyone is nice and I donât think Iâd be the target, rn it seems like Emma has a target on her back which kinda sucks cause I like her a lot but itâs better than me!
Emma leaves even more alliance chats that she created on a whim.
Ellie mutinies to Heartless. Everyone is shocked as they saw her in a really good position on the tribe
Jessica mutinies to Heartless because she knows that she is next on the chopping block
Colin mutinies to Nobody to cause chaos. Ellie tells him to side with Kim, and he tells her and Dylan to protect Christina
A mutiny. OF COURSE ITS A MUTINY! I'll absolutely say i wasn't expecting it but those were some bold decisions. Ellie i wasn't entirely surprised by HOWEVER Jessica mutinies and my heart skips a beat. It was ths game move she needed to make 100% because even if i potentially wanted to keep her , i wasn't going to a tiebreaker for her . Someone mutinied feom the heartless tribe and i wonder if they felt on the outs of they're just here to infiltrate. Who knows
Not surprised at the outcome at tribal tonight. I really did like John and enjoyed chatting with him, but for the sake of safety in numbers, he had to go. What Iâm surprised is that Ellie jumped ship! Not so much Jessica, but Ellie has a good thing going for us. We will see how things pan out now that weâre divided 4-8!
Colin goes to work socializing with a new group. Itâs going to be tough since those 3 are tight. He needs to crack a wall somewhere
I honestly feel responsible again for losing the challange!!! A 2??!?!?! Here I thought we were gonna average something much lower. But honestly, I didn't have much time to work on it as I spent the majority of the day at work. I think at this point our allience will vote together and unfortunately Colin will be the casualty. He shouldn't have mutinied...
Look i get that is part of this whole process but DAMN . Why does my tribe have to attend all the tribals. It's kind of demoralising tbh .Â
~~~~~
Colin wanted to target Jordan, but has switched to Daniel. Kim wants to flip, but doesn't want it to tie. Jordan wants to flip on Kim since they have two rewards. The spice is going to be flavorful
OKAY so I need to walk you guys through my decision to mutiny. because on surface level it seems really dumb. I'm here to explain to you why its ALSO dumb on the deeper level. i'm a messy ass bitch. I have played DOZENS of these games and I've never taken a mutiny before, so honestly this was mostly about new horizons and trying new things! BUT ALSO. Ellie mutinied. and I NEED to be able to play my game without Ellie. I had good connections on my og tribe with Christina, Kevin, Dylan, and Amy. I hope that distance will make the heart grow fonder and they will realize how much they actually wanna work with me when I'm not there!! I gave them sufficient warning and tried to smooth things over so it wouldn't be awkward when we are reunited. My ultimate plan is to just survive until merge and then make a powerhouse trio of me, Christina, and Dylan. Dylan and I can be strategic masterminds, while Christina and I can also help maneuver us socially. After coming onto the Nobody tribe, I'm honestly not impressed. Kim seems okay but a lil dry, Jordan is barely around and also a lil dry, and Daniel is actually really fun to talk to, but doesn't seem invested game wise. I think i need to get Jordan out by painting him as a challenge threat. I think I'll try to make an alliance of Kim and Daniel. I really just need them to protect me. Losing this challenge SUCKS. I kinda wish Christina and Dylan had thrown for me. but I didn't expect them to and I'm not surprised they didn't. I think my name is absolutely on the chopping block because everyone else seems comfortable, but I fully intend to put in WORK to make sure I stay. if I can make it past this, this will be a huge talking point on my resume for FTC. I'm starting early. Wish me luck!! xoxo.Â
~~~~~
Everyone is targeting each other and itâs about to be a big ol mess
I know it should be a no brain-er to who's going home tomorrow but i honestly do see the value of keeping Colin . We've bonded and i honestly do think he can be an ally for me moving into a merge. But it would require someone else to pull off because i don't want to piss off either Daniel or Jordan or potentially both if i vote against them
~~~~~
Colin attempts to talk with people about the vote, but no one responds back to him. Things are looking bleak as Kim as voted early for Colin. âI was talking to Kim this morning and basically all he said was he didn't think jordan and daniel would vote for each other. I hope Kim will at least let me do firemakingâ
Colin shifts gears and tries to get Jordan to flip on Kim. However, Jordan is too scared to talk to Daniel about it, fearing it might ruin their relationship. So, he seemingly backs out on it. Colin grows increasingly frustrated with the fake back and forth. He doesnât view Daniel as playing his own game as Daniel seems to do whatever Jordan wants him to do
Lost one of my core members to a mutiny, now lost the challenge. Our tribe has 4 members, two of which I believe to be close allies, one being the new member who mutinied from the other tribe, and of course myself. Kim, one of my allies, has been winning rewards throughout the game which scare me a bit. Iâve been getting along with our new member pretty well and itâs made me consider trying to find a way to vote out Kim so we can keep Colin around and just get rid of those rewards. I donât think Dan would trust me anymore if I threw out an idea like this though so I donât know if thereâs a way to make it happen. However, I think Iâm still leaning towards voting out the new member and at least trying to stay three strong. We will see if I feel the same tomorow.
im so sad. why did i take the mutiny. I'm really about to get voted out bc no one is even TALKING to ME all three of my new tribemates have expressed interest in keeping me and said that we had vibed really well. but now here I am, 4 hours before tribal, with absolutely nothing. No one talking to me. No names thrown out. They're going with the easy vote. I don't understand why. I can protect them going into merge!! they're going to be at such a numbers disadvantage, and I can be a bridge to the OG heartless tribe if I make it. But they don't wanna give me that chance. I'm so frustrated.Â
Iâve really been trying to find a way to keep Colin but I just donât think itâs gonna be worth it for me to risk my current friendships. Iâm too nervous to even consider mentioning the option to either of them for fear they will just blow me off entirely after that. I do think I would have more fun if I kept Colin around, but it may be short lived. A blindside would be super spicy right now but we will see...

So last rounds tribal got cancelled which was very nice. we planned on splitting between Cindi and Chips, with chips going home in a revote. once tribal got cancelled though it was nice to just have the evening free of stress. then once again WE LOSE THE FREAKIN CHALLENGE. I mean a GOOSE. A GOOSE IS JUST AS MUCH OF A BIRD AS A CHICKEN. just very frustrating. i want THE DAY OFF. TODAY IS MY FIRST DAY OF NO WORK IN 5 DAYS AND I WANNA IGNORE SURVIVOR BUT I CANT!! so. then after we lost we stayed up on call and once cindi left, me daisy and gage were talking game (i wasnt talking too much bc i was stoned). and Gage told us that cindi asked him to vote one of us out AND that chips and cindi were gonna vote me last round!! WHAT THE HECK! AND WHY DIDNT HE TELL ME SOONER??????? So then we went to bed kinda agreeing that we would all prefer Cindi to leave but would be fine with Chips depending on what Conor thinks.
Thats where im at so far. the idol is gone but i think rob or szymon have it. and i just want to MAKE MERGE!!! I hope our 4 can stick together.
im ngl to you.... i've watched so much survivor and when it's day 19, usually shit starts heating up. yeah, shit's been HEAT UP since the beginning but ...the merge is coming. i feel it. i just can't believe i've been playing this game for 19 days????????? anyways, my strat of letting other people take the reins and push moves that i want to happen has happened, almost everyone ive wanted to leave, has gone. even on the other tribe -- so that's really cool??? i don't know if im being labeled a social threat either. i just need to think of how to start navigating things once we hit merge. i am 100 percent and i mean 100 percent loyal to daisy/cindi/szymon and HOPEFULLY we can all link up at merge and just be a Power Alliance. i just. rip christian and rip black girl magic i wanted to play with her SO BAD but this makes it easier game wise bc now i don't have to vote out someone i like at f5 or smth. idk. i know we're not at merge or anything but there's a lot in this game thats pretty straightforward to me. i know who i'd die for, i know who i'd kill for, i know who i'd kill. i know what i have to do. i just. i gotta do it. i'm fucking ready.

So I guess a lot has happened since I last confessed and I forgot to film... and also don't really have time to do so.
Our tribe lost immunity with a puzzle game where the other tribe were on literal steroids.. and one of them was banished from the platform for quitting which may have saved my life.
Then we got a challenge to play Codenames a board game I've always wanted to try so that was fun!! I was pretty good?? At it so I became a Spymaster to give clues and lead our tribe to another loss!
Yay Helgamine losers!! Anyway, I'm pretty confident I'm the easy vote as well as the obvious with writing on the wall vote. Cindi and I have been trying to crack the others and to get them to vote Daisy or anyone else and literally it's my only shot!! Woo!
Hoping people like me enough to go for it! Also I failed to find the idol with five presents and it was my only shot and guaranteeing my safety so schwoopsie!
Better confessionals if I make it past this round... maybe. <3
Brandan sending a last minute confessional AGAIN? What more can you ask for from little old me :P.
But we won immunity again, which I'm really happy about! It was pretty much codenames, and we came perilously close to royally fucking ourselves over in the challenge when we nearly picked Vodka, but hey we didn't so that's good at the end! I kind of forgot that we had the challenge at the time we did since I was coming back from the beach and what not, and honestly like the past couple of days I been dealing with a lot of shit hell, testing positive for COVID before the game really picked up royally sucked and drained a lot out of me but now this is my only game I'm in so I'm invested as I can be!
And I feel like I'm good going into the merge with where everything is going, it sucks that Christian had to go cheat and ended up getting disqualified, but honestly our tribe is so much better because of it, and my position in this tribe as well. While I haven't been like ON that much if that makes any sense I've still been having fun in this game completely, and I feel like I've been making connections and what not so I feel good right now, and sometimes, all you can ask for is a bunch of fun! :D

ASLDKJFHAL IM SORRY I'VE BEEN JUST LIKE--- TOO BUSY FOR VIDEOS AND STUFF AND LIKE IM JUST LIKE OMG AHHH STRESS AND

This just in: MARVEL fangirl weighs in on Wonder Woman
I still canât be sure how many people actually see my blog, but hey! To anyone who cares, sorry about the long wait. Iâve been on vacation the past few days and hardly had the time to breathe, much less post. Ironic, isnât it?
So anyway, I said Iâd give my thoughts on Wonder Woman as the Marvel fangirl who wants to like DC, so letâs jump right in!
Letâs start with what the movie isnât, shall we? Itâs not a âwoohoo, girls rule, boys drool!â propaganda mud-fest in which all of the guy characters are either useless, evil, or gross to make the girls look competent by comparison (sly look at you, Frozen). Nor is it a testosterone-filled smash-âem-up that only has a female lead because eye candy and reasons. Nor is it a Marvel movie. It doesnât have the rapid humor, quirky villains, and sensation of history in even the most minor characters that Iâm used to, and it tries to tackle deeper themes far more obviously than Marvelâs subtler undertones. Itâs not an epic war movie like Lord of the Rings, and itâs not a grand, universe-spanning adventure either.
What it is, is an origins story. And a pretty dang good one at that.
Letâs go chronologically because otherwise Iâm going to get lost and go on a tangent. Spoiler warning as we proceed. Act One is spent on Dianaâs birthplace and also the most gorgeous set in this entire movie, the hidden island of Themyscira. If you thought the stunties in LotR were good, you havenât seen the Amazon warriors slide out of their saddles and fire a bow while riding the horse sideways. We meet Diana as a joyful little girl who wants nothing more than to join the adults she sees around her and become a warrior herself. Thereâs always the inherent problem with child actors, but they couldnât have gotten much better for young Diana. Sheâs a joy to see, and you get invested in her wide-eyed fantasies of heroism really quick. Who doesnât want to be a hero?
Itâs easy to see where Dianaâs later self-righteousness and one-track mind come in when we see the simplistic world in which she was raised. The world has a fairy-tale flavor to it for Dianaâhumans good, some gods good, some gods evil, Amazons defeat evil, the endâwhich makes her utter confusion and disillusionment at the sight of real-life WWI all the more believable later on. Even the exposition dragging down the first twenty minutes seems to be coddling us as viewers as Diana is being coddled. As much as I wish the Amazons got better lines (their characters were so cool, they deserved it!), it does a lot to set up the tone-shift later in the movie.
Weâre also introduced to my personal favorite character, AntiopeâDianaâs hardcore aunt who secretly teaches her fighting stuff. Sheâs just all-around cool: rugged, weathered, with awesome battle scars, and an air of kindness and concern underneath all that warrior stuff. While Dianaâs mom Hippolyta looks soft on the outside and is hard inside, Antiope is hard on the outside and soft on the inside, which is my favorite kind of character.
So yeah, good stuff and weâre hardly twenty minutes in. We watch Diana grow up, we see that she can cause small explosions by crossing her gauntlets, itâs hinted at that she is something more than meets the eye, and then the interesting stuff happens. An Allied pilot with an American accent (who for some reason is working for the British) crashes his plane into the ocean outside Themyscira. Diana pulls an Ariel and fishes him out of the water, then stares at him when he wakes up on the beach. (I literally sang âPart of Your Worldâ under my breath when I first saw this scene, to the infinite amusement of none but me.) And then it turns out heâs being followed by the Germans. Again with the simplistic flavor, really. Whatâs more classic bad guy than Germans?
Fight scene on the beach, yadda yadda, spoilers, my favorite dies and so do a heck ton of Nazis. Interesting note: Diana hardly joins this fight. This is a nice detail, especially since weâve seen how powerful she is before. It brings her down to earth that sheâs nervous in her first fight and senses that sheâs not safe anymore. At least her aunt wouldnât kill her in training sessions, but these outsiders wouldnât think twice. So she hides. The fact that I could pick that up on first viewing is a testament to the writing and the acting. Nice touch.
Then the Amazons hold a congress to see what they should do with the pilot, whose name is Steve Trevor. Nice little note from a writerâs standpoint: no one character has a casting vote in the course of action. This is a dynamic I saw first in the new Voltron cartoon, and itâs stuck with me as a tiny, genius little writing trick for world immersion. If Cap or Tony says âweâre going to Leipzigâ, everybody packs up and goes to Leipzig, but even Queen Hipolyta is reasoned out of her initial plan (to kill the pilot) by other characters like the unnamed Amazon senator. Main characters get input from lesser characters throughout the movie, which is much like conversations in real life. Since when did one person call all the shots un-challenged? They donât in this movie.
Weâre also introduced to the iconic lasso, which is apparently not Dianaâs to begin with, just a thing the Amazons have lying around that happens to be useful for vetting folks. They also give it a pretentious name like âLasso of Somethingâ that completely slipped my mind and probably freaked Steve Trevor out. He gives the Amazons the skinny on WWIâthe Great War, at this pointâand Diana is confused. Get used to that. It will be her default for the rest of the movie.
They decide not to kill him, Diana insists that they need to go kill Ares and shut down the war, and Hippolyta is like âno way honâ and thatâs the end of the conversation. Also, get used to the whole âgotta kill Aresâ thing. Also going to be her default. Like I said, one-track mind.
Then comes the part of the show where we make awkward sexual jokes and innuendos because Diana is a grown woman who has read all about but never seen a man. Steve Trevor is bathing in a pool thing that actually looks pretty sweet, and Diana walks in on him and doesnât leave because of course, and she forces him to form an escape plan with her basically. Thereâs this bit where he awkwardly segways from talking about physical differences to talking about the watch he left on the edge of the tub, and itâs just so out of the blue that itâs gotta be setting up an ironic echo or something. Then Diana leaves and suits up, which involves this really cool scene in which she scales the outside of a tower to grab a sword and freaks out a cow in the process, and by the time she gets back, Steve is dressed. Then they head to the dock to steal a ship.
Now comes my least favorite scene, followed closely by the dumb thing with the watch. Hippolyta rides down to the dock to tell Diana âdonât do thisâ, and Diana is like âiâm gonna do thisâ, and Hippolyta is like âfine have the hat of your dead aunt who was much cooler than me, donât forget that you suck for this, bye feliciaâ and then she rides away. I guess thereâs something deep there about parents letting their children out of the nest when the time comes or something like that, but I just kind of hate this scene, so whatever.
One boat ride later and theyâre in London. Diana calls it âhideousâ. I laughed. They did a lot to get you into the mood of the era, from soldiers enjoying their last day before shipping out to the front (CA:TFA flashbacks here) to the pollution from smoke-stacks to the vintage cars rumbling around the place. It always astounds me when movies find period set-pieces like that and make them look like they sprang straight out of yesterday. Maybe I just donât know enough about the process of getting vehicles for props, but itâs still impressive.
More awkwardness ensues because Dianaâs signature outfit is not modest to WWI-era Brits. Steveâs red-headed secretary, Emma Candy, makes an appearance for some comic relief. We get the sense that Steve is falling for Diana because of course he is. Then thereâs this great scene in an alleyway where Diana stops a bullet with her gauntlets and beats the ever-loving crap out of a few German spies who were dumb enough to apprehend Steve in London and still use their German accents. Diana can now handle combat with under a half-dozen opponents at once! Yay! And Steve gets the last punch in.
Oh, forgot to mention that? Back in exposition central, we learned that Steve stole a notebook with a formula for a new German hydrogen gas. The Germans have had it out for him ever since. Steve tries to get that notebook to his superiors, but that fails epically and Dianaâs presence alone disrupts a war conference. (Hidden Figures flashbacks here.) And thatâs before she opens her mouth and calls the generals asinine cowards! Thereâs a little bit of tactical mumbo-jumbo thrown around that makes you think that maybe this will turn into a political thriller/espionage film, but sadly, it doesnât. Dianaâs hard-headed determination to end the war by smashing pretty much prevents that.
But sheâs also dissing the entire Allied war effort and telling the commanders how much they suck, so we get the sense that maybe sheâs got a bad idea of how to handle this whole thing after all. Steve certainly thinks so, and they both start butting heads over a plan of action right about here.
Diana yells a lot when she gets riled up. This is also a problem in Britain.
The one thing they do agree on is that peace needs to be the end result, so they get the support of Sir Patrick Morgan and go to a bar to recruit Steveâs buddies Charlie and Sameer. (CA:TFA flashbacks again.) Okay, around this point I just started seeing a lot of Captain America parallels.Â
Dumb kid is stubborn enough to think he/she has to go out to war.
Dumb kid throws him/herself straight into it.
Dumb kid butts heads with superiors.
Dumb kid goes to a bar to form a team.Â
Dumb Kid and Co. go out and do badass stuff.
But thatâs where the parallels end for now. In this case, thereâs no bromantic banter that will haunt me â'til the end of the lineâ, and itâs not a montage of epicness as much as a slow burn.
We first head out into the wilderness to meet Chief, Steveâs other friend who can get them across the front lines. (I donât have a GIF for him, sadly.) Chief, a Native American smuggler, explains to Diana that heâs living out in the European wilderness because itâs the one place he can be freeââin danger is better than being a slaveâ.Â
(I have to admit that Iâm not a history buff and donât know a lot about the treatment of Native Americans during the War, but at least one article Iâve read says that while the war effort pinched the land holdings of their reservations (and itâs problematic enough the kind of land on which some of those reservations were built), some Native Americans were actually quite willing to enlist to support America and the Allies. There were tensions and scandals all around, but outright oppression seems to be in short supply. Could Chief have lived in a community where the pinch hit hardest? Could he be mistaken about how bad he really has it? Maybe. In any case, itâs only touched on and then the movie moves on, so we will too.)
Then thereâs Charlie. (No GIF for him, either.) Overly Sarcastic Productions on Youtube has pointed out that the fashionable mental disorder to have in fiction nowadays is post-traumatic stress disorder, or PTSD. Earlier generations used to have alcoholism, but thatâs since gone out of vogue. If something tragic happens to a character nowadays, theyâre likely to have stress, panic attacks, and all manner of tragic personality changes resulting from the trauma. Cue Takashi Shirogane.
Yeah, the dweeb with the nose scar. I love him.
The problem isâand Shiro is an excellent exampleâfictional PTSD is a romanticized version that elevates the trauma to a superpower, with Laser-Pointed Amnesia and The Devil Within to get the character a secret advantage in combat through improbably relevant flashbacks and adrenaline-fueled combat moves. (I love TvTropes, sorry.) Their personality will likely remain the same, a likable character who hardly loses control unless itâs helpful (Shiro again), or theyâll be turned into a darker, broodier Troubled But Cute version of themselves with enough potential for hurt/comfort to drag in the fangirls. Cue Bucky Barnes, and, yes, I am one of those fangirls. Bite me.
Charlie just takes all of that andâŚcrushes it. Mercilessly. His disorder makes him have nightmares that cause him to yell and snap at Diana when she tries to help, and then slink off into the woods with his gun. It makes his hands shake when he tries to take a shot with the rifle and snaps him out of focus in the middle of a fight. I mean, if you were stressed all the time, how would you react? Being emotionally, physically, and mentally wound up at all times will bring out the worst in a person before it brings out the best. Itâs painfully, scathingly realistic, and I have to give the writers and actor props for making me take a step back and think about my fanfictions and things like that.
As Sameer later explains to Diana, âweâre all dealing with our demons, and thatâs hisâ, but even more interesting is the fact that Diana, who left her home to fix problems, is being introduced to problems that she canât fix quicklyâor canât even fix at all. That goes on to be the next big conflict in the movie.
(More brief reading confirms my suspicions that PTSD wasnât a well-understood condition around the time of WWI. While some scholars were making leaps and bounds towards understanding it, the prevalent view of PTSD was that it was simply cowardice in the soldiers, and even the most knowledgeable psychiatrists, who knew that the condition was brought on by the emotional strain of war, thought that PTSD was more likely to develop in soldiers who were âweakâ or âcowardlyâ to begin with. Soldiers were rejected if experts thought they had a predisposition to this âcowardiceâ. Charlie wouldnât have been able to reenter active duty after his previous tour even if he tried; Sameer, in this case, would either have to be extremely well-read or extremely compassionate for his time to think of Charlie as anything other than a troubled coward. Again, however, the movie touches on this and then moves on, and so will we.)
This is the part where Diana sees problems she canât fix, from wounded soldiers awaiting an amputation to civilians hurried from place to place who have lost homes and loved ones because of the war. Itâs all thrown together in one heart-breaking scene that parallels the nausea I felt in seeing the aftermath of the plane crash in the first episode of Lost. So many hurting, screaming people, and Diana wants to help them all, but Steve herds her on because she canât. Then theyâre in the trenches, and it turns out that Steve brought her there because he figured if Diana wanted to fight, sheâd fight like all the other soldiers.Â
But she doesnât.
There are few trailer shots which are genuinely awesome in the final movie and lots of shots that get old once youâve seen the trailer ten million times, but I assure you that the scene of Diana taking the German bullets as she stands in no-manâs land is one of the most compelling things in the whole movie. Not five minutes on the war-front and she is literally taking fire on behalf of the soldiers in the trenches behind her, inspiring them, protecting them, and proving to them that taking back what theyâve lost can be done, and then she charges ahead, flicking the bullets back with her gauntlets and literally clearing the way for the guys behind her while she charges on hell with no hesitation. The score behind this scene is that orchestral, inspiring stuff that makes a girl feel like sheâs watching Lord of the Rings again, and you can almost feel the Germans quaking in their boots and wondering who and what the actual heck this person is.
And then the good guys have the bad guys running and they take back the trenches. Everyone is cheering and yelling and all feels really, really good.
But itâs not done yet. They still have to take back the town and free civilians. Thatâs when the Howling ComâI mean Diana and the Crew have their moment to shine. Itâs adrenaline-filled combat from then on out, and I donât remember it well enough to let you know what happened, but I remember that it was great, Diana threw a tank, and the part with the lasso was absolutely sick. Everybody should have a big, stupid grin when they watch a superhero battle, and this was The Big Stupid Grin Battle. Itâs at this moment you feel, âYeahâshe knows what sheâs doing now.â They bring out Dianaâs electric guitar theme from BvS for the battle youâve seen in the trailers, and itâs okay. Iâm not much for the riff myself, but it doesnât stick around long enough to grate. Then Diana kicks a guy through a window and I remember that I laughed in glee. It was great.
The part where Charlie canât shoot a guy is here. We also see how much Steve pays attention when he uses a trick that he saw Antiope do to launch Diana into a church steeple to take out a sniper. It feels genuinely good when the dust settles, the music fades out, Diana walks out of the rubble and looks down the tower at the civilians on the street below her, and they all start cheering and yelling in Finnish. She saved them! Sheâs the hero she wanted to be! Life is good.Â
The crew celebrates by getting their Squad Pic taken on an old camera and dancing, singing, and drinking a little with the residents of the town.
Thereâs Sameer, Steve, Diana, Chief, and Charlie, if you wanted to see them.
Then we hear Sameerâs backstory, that his dream is to be an actor, but he canât pursue it because of his color. I asked Wikipedia, and it turns out that Sameer is a French Moroccan manâthus his prevalent use of French when heâs not speaking English. Itâs funny how Sameer at first strikes you as a sleazeball until you get to know him and realize the tight box heâs in that he canât overcome.
Color-casting is still a thing today (to go back to Voltron, my guy Josh Keaton mostly does voice acting because despite his undeniably photogenic face he is âtoo ethnic to be white and too white to be Hispanicâ according to TvTropes), and what strikes me as funny is that the colors of Bremmer, Taghmaoui, and Brave Rock definitely had an impact on the casting of these characters. So color plays a part in casting roles, but I wouldnât call that racism outright. Itâs pushing âminoritiesâ out of lead roles because of their skin color that I think is where the injustice lies. But movie creators arenât going to broaden their scope for their casts unless they think an audience will buy a movie with a non-traditional lead. Question for discussion: who else wants to see more non-white leads in movies that donât explicitly deal with the racial problem? Who else wants to see more female leads in movies that donât deal with gender dynamics? I know I do. It would be fun to see Hollywood shake it up a little.
What was I talking about? Oh yeah, the movie! More romance follows because reasons, I guess. And then Steve starts to put a plan together to destroy the gas the Germans are making. He tells the Squad that they can go, but no! Theyâre bosom buddies now, and theyâll work even without pay! Thatâs good. We need our secondary characters for a while yet, even if theyâre mostly here to bring up relevant social issues. Okay, so Iâm a bit salty about that. Theyâre fine characters, but somehow I walked away feeling like they were there to be mediums by which the creators could bring up social issues rather than characters to suggest a history and deeper personalities.
First thing we need the squad to do is ride horses through the woods and doubt Diana. Well, all but Chief. He thinks Diana may be right, that Ares is behind all of this. Charlie is unconvinced, and Sameer is cautiously hopeful. They all seem to represent the sides of Steveâs mind battling it out, whether to believe Dianaâs tall tale and trust her to finish this or not. Weâre not told yet what heâs decided, or if heâs decided at all. Get used to this theme of belief, because itâs going to be important.
Emma got them information that the guy they believe is Ares, General Ganondorf, is going to be at aâwhat? What did Iâ? Oh, Ludendorf! I meant Ludendorf. Heâs going to be at a big bad guy gala with all of the top bad guys. So the Squad is headed there. Diana is back to her pig-headed obstinacy and insists that all that needs to happen is she has to get close enough to kill Ares, while Steve wants to find out where the gas is so that he can destroy it. Chief steals a car and both Sameer and Steve pull out their acting skills to get into the gala, and Diana disappears and steals a rich snitchâs dress.
Steve flirts in a German accent to almost get the gasâ inventor, a psychopath with a cool face mask named Dr. Isabel Maru, to give up the location of the gas. (Side note: Doctor Maruâs nickname of Dr. Poison is the most cheesy thing in the movie, second maybe to Ludendorf for camp, until I read up on the Wonder Woman mythos and found out that Dr. Poison is a classic villain from the franchise. Hey, donât judge. Iâm getting into this via the movies, not the comics. Also, the idea of fictional characters like Red Skull and Dr. Poison alongside real historical figures like Adolf Hitler and Erich Ludendorf will never not be hilarious.)
Dianaâs appearance in the gala almost ruins it for Steve. Ludendorf taunts Diana with like every trick in the book to say âIâm the villain!â without saying heâs the villain, Steve just barely stops Diana from hacking his head off, and then as part of the party festivities the Germans gas the village that Diana just saved.
âŚ.Wait, what?! Hell, thatâs dark!!
SoâŚyeah. Diana goes to the village to get a look at the devastation and the gasâŚoddly doesnât affect her, whereas it makes Steve gag and choke whenever he gets within smelling distance of it. They are very upset with one another at this point, so upset that Diana has a ârealizationâ that Ares has corrupted Steve too, to stop her from killing Ares before this could happen. Sensing that heâs lost her, Steve directs Diana to the Chiefâs smoke signal, because heâd asked the Squad to keep tabs on which way Ludendorf had gone while he himself went after Diana. So she takes off, and on top of that, she takes his horse.
She tracks Ludendorf to an airport (because itâsâŚoddly always been an airport lately), and succeeds in killing him with her sword, the Godkiller, on the roof of a watchtower. All is quiet, and it should be over, right?
Wrong. Faceless goons are still unloading the gas into bomber planes. Diana is distraught because the one thing she thought would work, didnât. Steve finally catches up with Diana here and tries, one last time, to get her to help him destroy the gas. (In hindsight, I realize that I have no idea how Diana could have helped with that, but I guess Steve must have had some kind of a secret plan.) She refuses. She canât imagine why theyâd go on with this destruction when Ares is dead. I think itâs here that she cites her motherâs warning that âthe world of men does not deserve youâ, and, in one final moment of desperation, Steve blurts, âYeah, well, maybe itâs not about deserve! Maybe, itâs about what you believe.â He begs her one last time, saying he has to go, she doesnât budge, and he reluctantly leaves to join the Squad.
Itâs then that the real Ares makes his appearance. Yep, bait and switch! Turns out he was masquerading as Sir Patrick Morgan all along. And that is a shocking twist for all of four seconds because to be honest, I half-called it from the beginning, and it is unhelpfully on the Wikipedia page.
Ares acts in the exact opposite way of how youâd expect the god of war to act, which could either be genius or a let-down and for me was a bit of both. He does the whole âbreak her by talkingâ thing instead of fighting her for half the final battle and creeps her out with biblical references when she throws the Lasso of Truth around him. He monologues about how he wanted to show Diana the horrors of war and humanity so that she would join him and destroy all humans because sheâs his sister by Zeus and pretty much the only person who could. (Yay, villain exposition! Thatâs not an old and tired clichĂŠ at all!) Also, Hippolytaâs a fat liar. Moving on.
You may have heard that the CGI in the final battle is extremely lacking. Iâm here to tell you that it definitely is. Aresâ battle design reminded me of my dadâs pre-internet Doom 2 Dos-Box game (which is not in the GIF above, but I found it and figured it would be appropriate). The ripple effects from the heat definitely didnât help, and that mustache was a mistaaaaakeee. Ares literally fell from Olympus with that awful caterpillar on his face. Good land, it looks so bad.Â
The final battle is mostly bright lights clashing on bright lights, and after the epic armies-clashing-on-armies feel from Themiscyra and the World Warâs front to the super-powered hand-to-hand that would make Cap stop and notice, the light beams feel old, tired, and lazy. I think the one time I grinned in the last battle was when Diana did a cool new thing with the lasso. Anytime the lasso came out, it was great, but otherwiseâmeh.
And then we get to the gut punch. One thing this movie did better than CA:TFA was set up the sacrifice in the plane. I donât know how Sameer knew the plane was on a timer, but the fact that it was gave Steve Trevorâs decision a lot more credibility than Steve Rogersâ, and the Squadâs desperation to stop him when he was just in armâs reach from them was heartbreaking. At any rate, they had to squeeze in one last CA:TFA parallel before the deal was done. Steve presses his watch into Dianaâs hand (told you itâs an ironic echo) and mouths something that she canât hear, and while Diana is fighting Ares with existential crises, Steve pilots the plane full of gas into the air, pulls out a lighter, takes a deep breathâand blows the whole thing to hell, himself inside.
SoâŚyeah. My second favorite died too. Oops.
Diana understandably loses it. She charges through the German ranks in a slo-mo rage. Ares encourages her, going on about the depravity of humans, and then Ares makes one fatal mistake.
He disses the dearly departed.
Diana will stand for none of that crap and wonât even kill Dr. Isabel Maru when given the chance. She tries to recall Steveâs last words, and in her mind they are âI can save todayâyou can save the world. I wish we had more time. I love you.â So, faith in humanity restored, she spares Dr. Maru, lightning-blasts Ares to hell with levitation and the gauntlet trick, floats in the air in a crucifixion pose for a sec, and then floats back down to earth. All of the Germans are un-brainwashed suddenly and take off their gas masks, smiling at each other and the Squad, so I guess Diana was right.
Soon afterward, WWI itself ends. Not every problem is resolved. Sameer doesnât get an acting role, Charlie doesnât suddenly have pristine mental health, Chiefâs people arenât liberated, and they donât get Steve back. Thatâs all a good thing. Thatâs how the real world works. Diana, Emma, and the remaining Squad are, however, all friends by the end of the movie, and unconditionally accept one another. And as the movie closes, she reminds us that she stays and she fights because itâs not about deserve, itâs about what you believeâand she believes in love.
And thatâs all great until you remember that they did the whole World War thing again in about twenty-five years. Jk jk
Hey, donât be mad! Iâm joking!
So what did I think? Personally, I think it was cool. A bit of a change of pace from what Iâm used to. I wish they had taken more time to hint at the background of the minor characters and do a bit less philosophizing, but for what the movie set out to do, I feel like they did a good job. The writing was a solid A-, A at best, the score was up to par and even exhilarating in places, the actors and actresses seemed like they had fun, and the stunts, effects, sets, props, and shots could be beautiful and stunning. I enjoyed watching Diana grow and change as a person, and easily got invested in her. Iâd like to see her again sometime.
Does it measure up to my Marvel dudes? Personally, nah. Not really. But itâs good. Itâs a really, really good movie. I liked it, and I love Diana.
Tl;dr: Wonder Woman isnât the best movie of all time but itâs still pretty bomb, guys, and you should watch it if you like movies that are fun and kinda pretty and make you think a little.

CLICK FOR SURVEY LINK
I am willing to review ONE currently airing drama and ONE past aired drama -- hopefully this will keep you guys entertained while I get to explore other dramas that I missed! For now, Iâll only be reviewing Kdramas since that was the highest consensus from the survey results. Iâm not particularly invested in an anime at the moment and I usually only watch anime that I am interested in... unless you have something to recommend then Iâll check it out and let you guys know.Â
Thanks again! Weâll make it through Goblin Withdrawal Syndrome... hopefully (I lied... weâll never heal from it... the damage has been done)
If youâre interested in the results, feel free to read them below the cut! :)
The results:Â

It's so beautiful that we've been given a show that has a new POV character every season, and that people are so invested that they're voting on characters and storylines they want to see more of!
and the fact that julie looks through fansâ comments and gets inspired from those...i love it
Anonymous said:Could you post that? (The art that Henrik liked the one with Isak sitting on his lap)
here
Anonymous said:Just to follow up on what a previous anon said about the kind people who translated the episodes....I know NRK and Julie will probably never be able to openly acknowledge it but....I hope the translators know that their work helped making Skam the international phenomenon it became and without that "hype" I'm pretty sure the US remake deal would have never happened (which means some sweet money for the showrunners btw). So: if you took the time to translate eps and texts: thank you!!
yesyes! i feel like we can never thank them enough
Anonymous said:misfits it totally worth watching!!! I loved it and it's hilarious with good conflicts. it probably one of my favorite shows. I love the different personalities of the characters lol
yay!! i cant wait to watch more of it!:)

Episode 7:Â I feel personally victimized - Luke
why are they abaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaackkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk
also steffen or drew will win this season bookmark this.
I can't Beloeve
So glad to be back in the game! The amount of shock in the chat was awesome! Hahah I'm just glad I didn't get eliminated without receiving a single vote. Although I know I'll get one now!
First of all I feel personally victimized by the hosts for allowing people to come back. Next I feel personally victimized because Darian came back and he has reason to target me!!! Going forward I'm trusting Drew the most because I love him so much :) Ashley, Steffen and Jordan are also strong allies of mine. I want to target Darian next and then I want either Brian, Lily or Andrew out. Jordan should leave fairly soon too because he's a big threat and that means betraying him but I need to do what I need to do to win.
So I got some kick ass items at auction today. I got a Wildfire, which can reset a round and make all of our challenge results null so we have to do them over. I also got a ride on a dragon thanks to Steffen, even though we don't know about it yet. He got to choose two others to take with him and chose Drew and I, which I really awesome because I am starting to like Steffen a lot. Hopefully we can get closer in the upcoming days. I also got a turkey leg, which gives me an advantage in a challenge up to final five, so that is pretty chill too.
Darian and Lily coming back????? UGLY!!!! KEEP THEM!!!!!!!! But also like I'm rebelling more against the fact of HAVING two people come back than the reality of who they are. If two people were going to come back, theyâre DECENT choices because at least they both like me? But they come with their own vendettas against other people I like and itâs a PROBLEMMMMMMM. Darian coming back means the tension between him and Luke is gonna come to a head sooner rather than later. And Lily wants to take out both Andrew and Steffen QUICK because of reasons. Meanwhile WHAT EXACTLY HAS MY ASS BEEN DOING???? Aligning with almost every damn person in the game! Jordan specifically said âi feel like were aligned with too many people at this point. Like we need to actually get on a sideâ and my internal monologue is laughing because I think Iâm connected to even more than he is because Iâm with Steffen too????Â
1. Me Ashley Jordan Darian 2. Me Ashley Luke Steffen 3. Me Ashley Andrew 4. Me Ashley Andrew Luke Jordan 5. Me Jordan LilyÂ
Iâm about one second away from starting one with Brian and Nic just for shits. And THEYâRE ALL FUCKING TARGETING EACH OTHER!!!! Luke and Steffen bonded on call over wanting Darian gone and have brought up Jordanâs name, Jordan and Lily want Steffen gone, Lily is PUSHING for Andrew to go and Jordan and I can only keep her at bay for so long, and LITERALLY NO ONE IS BRINGING UP BRIAN AND NIC TO GO like Iâm about to upset a whole group of people really quickly. I think my best course of action right now, if Ashley would be open to it, would be to blindside Darian right the fuck back out. I need to convince Jordan that our five-person alliance (listed above as #4) is the most important thing in the world right now because itâs numbers after this vote. Itâs also another alliance that I have with both Ashley and Jordan so if theyâre on board for the Darian blindside, then we can do it without pissing anyone off. Except Darian but I mean whatever, itâs not like I have to see him at high school the next day (sorry Ashley!!!). And it keeps Luke happy, and Iâm all about keeping Luke happy. And it might convince Brian and Nic that weâd go for Lily next and just cleanse the field, and honestly thatâd be nice too.Â
This is my dream boot list, at least for now (subject to like 18,000 revisions so like take it with the entire container of salt that for some reason is a current Snapchat filter with the Mortonâs wig and umbrella)Â
10th place: Darian, with the consent of Ashley and Jordan 9th place: Brian because whew comp strength 8th place: Steffen because I donât know that I can hold Jordan and Lily off any longer on that one 7th place: Nic, to, in the words of Lord Voldemort, kill the spare 6th place: Andrew because he might not see it coming at that time? The kid has been to the Citadel so fucking much, I canât 5th place and beyond I donât fucking know yet??? Thatâs a really tough position to be in because everyone in that final five would potentially want to work to the end with me but theyâre all also threats to win. Ashley has been a main co-conspirator since the very beginning for me, but walks in with at least Darianâs vote almost pre-destined. Jordan and I work well together and his reputation often works against him, but I honestly think this isnât the jury that would hold that against him like Costa Rica did, and he would have Benâs vote almost pre-destined. Lilyâs story could go either way, in that sheâd been voted out twice, she doesnât deserve to win, or that sheâs fought back in twice and made it to the end. Especially if people like Steffen and Jordan are on jury, thatâs going to really resonate with them as people who have won buybacks and almost won with them before. Luke probably has the least amount of connections from that potential jury pool, but has a great story of being the only foreigner and needing to adapt to our schedules, staying up until 4-5am every night to participate with us when weâre at our most available. Steffen would really respond to that, having played seasons from Norway and understanding the struggle. Honestly I could end up with the worst case to present in any configuration of that five, but Iâll worry about that as we get closer because I think thatâs the configuration that best LEADS to me getting to finals. I can argue my way through a lot of things, and if I lose, I lose, Iâd be happy losing to any of them. This might be the strongest social game Iâve ever had?? Or I could be wildly delusional and other people have just as many chats with just as many leads and I donât factor into anyoneâs final plans. Weâll see, I guess
Pray for me, itâs gonna be a fucking bumpy ride.Â
So Steffen, Drew and I's dragon ride ended with me getting a vote revealer, Drew getting an advantage in a challenge of his choosing, and Steffen got a vote stealer. We all agreed to it and are now in a semi alliance. So this should be interesting.
So I won immunity yay :) Sam got mad at me cause she spent a long time making that challenge and I beat it in 8 minutes so i felt bad and decided to make an actual confessional. Shocking right? Anyways even if I didnt have immunity I think Im in a good spot? like okay, so i have a lot of alliances. I have one with Andrew Drew Luke and Ashley, one with Drew Ashley and Darien, One with Lily and Drew and then i sort of have an alliance with Nic. Meaning I am not aligned with Steffen, meaning ideally Steffen goes. lily told me she has the power to take away someones immunity so thats good that thats on my side. Either way, things are good for Jordan. First confessional done, dont expect another
me to jordan yesterday: lets vote out steffen lily to me today: i was thinking steffen for next tribalÂ
ok sooo i do think steffen is a big threat and could win but i feel bad about voting him out cause im not invested in this game and idk if he is but he could win so i feel guilty if i vote him out and stay over him r . i. o. p. in peace
well well wel......... this is perfect. darian came to me wanting to blindside a threat so i said drew and now he's doing all the work to get drew sent home :o i spoke to steffen abotu it and hes good and darians gonna try to get andrew/brian/ashley so hopefully that works.Â
i have a really good feeling where this is the episode where my edit goes from INV to MOR3
HONESTLYYYYYYYYYYY disregard the boot list, scrap it, move on from it, delete the confessional, it NEVER. HAPPENED.
Lily has gone to Drew, Jordan, Darian and Ashley to try and get me out. Ashley and Darian came clean to me about it and now weâre sorting stuff out now. Â darian thing lets him see a random alliance chat donât like it. Lily is after me, then Brian, then Andrew. Drew has an idol from the citadel so now weâre strategizing. trying to spill that Luke wanted Brian gone. Lily has Drew and Jordan but only Jordan. Nic has to vote Drew. Drew might have to self vote Brian has to vote lily Andrew will vote lily Darian votes Drew Steffen votes lily Ashley votes lily Lily votes SteffenJordan votes Steffen Luke votes TBAÂ
so Luke came to me with Jordan tea about how now Jordan is voting me out well good job Lily I officially say you can choke now [17:46:00] Luke: So do we know what's happening yet?Â
[17:46:08] Jordan (Westeros): no one is talking [17:46:19] Jordan (Westeros): if i didnât have immunity id be freaking out [17:47:15] Luke: That's why I'm freaking out!! [17:47:23] Jordan (Westeros): i want to target steffen tbh [17:49:39] Luke: Oh wow really? You think that could work? [17:49:49] Jordan (Westeros): i think we could potentially get the voes [17:49:51] Jordan (Westeros): votesÂ
So screw you Lily, and Jordan next time you go behind my back, be a little more creative you little toad and as soon as Jordan tried to get me to vote out Andrew IM LIKE SURE but then sent those receipts to andrew also I might now have Luke voting out LilyÂ
[11/30/16, 6:42:48 PM] Brian: [2016-11-30, 11:38:39 AM] Brian: have you heard anything about the vote today? [2016-11-30, 12:19:23 PM] Lily Owen: Yeah, people are planning on Steffen [11/30/16, 6:42:59 PM] Steffen Bøhn: oh yeah [11/30/16, 6:42:59 PM] Brian: [2016-11-30, 6:42:13 PM] Brian: so idk [2016-11-30, 6:42:13 PM] Jordan Pines: no one has said it to me [2016-11-30, 6:42:17 PM] Jordan Pines: ive heard steffen so far [2016-11-30, 6:42:22 PM] Jordan Pines: and i think thats where Iâm leaning
I GOT BRIAN SENDING ME SHIT NOW AW HELL YASÂ
So I am terrified for this upcoming tribal. Some shit is going to go down. After the auction there are so many items in this game that I can't even keep my head straight.
So Darian got approached by Lily, who said she wanted to get Steffen out. She had this whole hit list and whatnot, and stupidly told Darian a lot of crap. So basically he comes to me and tells me everything. So now we are working with Steffen to try and find a solution... Hopefully all of this stuff is true, because if not, who the hell knows who is leaving tonight.

Ep. 4 -Â âWhat big legs you have! Well the better to carry my tribe with darling.â - Tristin
Sasha
When you get tribe swapped but never made significant bonds with anyone on your tribe so itâs whateverÂ
Tristin
Fuck
cranjes
so i get put on a tribe with the person i want to blindside and the person who was gonna be gone if we lost again....great
Tristin
So a swap happened and I ended up swapping in the MINORITY with Franco who I LOVE
Rain
Iâm fucked. I didnât even get someone from my OG tribe that I particularly like.Â
Franco
JAY STOP PUTTING ME ON A ROLLER COASTER OF EMOTIONS I was just so happy about Eliza and I's plan to split votes being executed FLAWLESSLY, and then you do this to me. Swaps are scary enough, but THEN I GET PUT ON A TRIBE OF 5!! and Tristin and I are the only og Nera!! I'm not ready to be in the minority. I don't know how any of these people, and I feel like I'm starting at square one. I had such good relationships with everyone on nera now I gotta build that, at a disadvantage because of being in the tribal minority. I'm gonna have to put in some serious work sooner rather than later
FrancI already miss Michele and Eliza and Rain. The new Nera members are so quiet and I feel like I'm being annoying because they just! aren't giving me any tea! Ugh I hate this
lenny
I feel blindsided and anxious. This past tribal, two people voted for me and Gregg left me a message that made me feel really icky. I am sort of defeated right now and don't know how to deal with this swap or get my stamina up. :( :/ I want to cry. Not to be dramatic but I trusted people on my tribe and I feel naive for doing so.Â
lenny
trying to converse post swap. Not feeling like I am going to vibe with these people. they are not interested in getting to know me.
Elle
I really like the results of the tribe swap! Fae and Maxyne are with me which are two solid allies that I know I can count on. That means I am not in the minority at the moment! For now, though, I am scared about idols the other two may or may not have. Rain and Lenny are unknown factors which make them dangerous to my game. I need to use my social skills to get them under my thumb. I do not care if it makes me seem shady. I will take them out if I have to with a smile on my face. However, I know with this challenge that my tribe will certainly not be going to tribal council. I am very strong in this challenge so I have faith. My google account is trying to expose me. I forgot to logout of them so it showed my name when I logged into the google sheets. One other person was there. If they were smart then they could look up who I am. I hope it does not turn out that way. I hope they just ignored it and I can continue my alias identity.Â
Rain
Oy (and I cannot stress this enough) vey. Okay, new tribe. Me and Lenny are immediately a minority, so we need to win immunity because while voting her out is an option, if I do that I am CERTAINLY next to go. Except, whatâs immunity? My least favorite challenge ever (aside from MAYBE lip syncs. Maybe). So basically... Iâm fucked. Long term or short term. Who knows! So far, I think I like Elle the most of everyone on my tribe. Elle thinks Iâm iconic for having mice. I also think Iâm iconic for having mice. From what Iâve been told, Fae got separated from the people they bonded with as well, so thatâs potentially helpful. But for now, once again, Oy (and I cannot stress this enough) vey.Â
Michele
Glad my new tribe is majority members of my old tribe. Eliza is my number 1 right now!
Franco
Okay so I'm gonna give a quick update about new Nera. I really like Cranjes, I think I like him more than most of og Nera?? Surprisingly? Like I really want to work with him on a close level, I just hope tribal lines doesn't act as an obstacle for that. We both already expressed to each other a desire to work together. Van seems kinda..... not all there. Like doesn't seem to take the game super seriously. I also think I notice some tension between Van and Cranjes, so i definitely wanna exploit that. Sasha is okay. They're super easy to talk to and have a very genuine personality. I love our conversations, but they even said themselves that they're not super active or invested in the game. At the very least they could serve as a number if I can get closer Tristin is still amazing. Besides Eliza and Michele I think I was closest to them on og Nera. And they're literally winning this challenge for us so I'm super grateful!! We both realize that we have to stick together now more than ever so we're doing that!
Maxyne
Well... it's over... i don't see why i should continue in this gane or fight to survive even when my heart lowkey isn't in this anymore and i don't think it would be fair for me to snuff the Nera minority just cause they're 2, there literally no reason why i should stay over them
Sasha
This challenge was just âI meant to contribute more to the group project but they did a bunch before I really got to itâ but in an org for me tonight. At least we won so I wouldnât have to face the consequences of that AND tribal.Â
Franco
we WON!!
by a LOT!! like a LANDSLIDE TBH!! i'm so excited. I'm one round closer to merge and being reunited with my allies. I really am starting to feel powerless, and it sUCKS because I was in a good position pre swap. but now I have at least a few more days!! and I intend to use them to my full advantageÂ
cranjes
so we like kicked ass on that challenge, and i really like franco. thatâs that. idk. iâm out of it. yay final 14.
Tristin
Me and Franco were in hot water after we swapped in the minority but I was determined to not to go tribal. After a frustrating attempt at the challenge, Tristin overcame as they masterminded  a strategy to win, securing they and Francoâs safety. Oh I also told my tribe about an advantage for the challenge so next time we can win!! Hopefully Iâm making strong impressions here. I also would like to say that I like Cranjes and think that theyâre the strongest out of the 3 from Og Plati. Sasha is ok I guess and van seems useless as of now but coolish to talk to I guess???
Elle
It sucks that we have to go to tribal and that I had to do all the work for this challenge. However, I feel confident that I will not be getting voted out in this round. I have Maxyne and Fae on my side, and I have been making good connections with Rain and Lenny. In my eyes, no one should be plotting against me. In all honesty, I hope that, if its not either of the other two, that Fae goes because I have such a hard time connecting with them. They are someone I am willing to let go. Maxyne is my ride-or-die and I really feel connected with them, so I do not want them to go. Overall, I feel comfortable, but that is when I am most vulnerable. Let us hope that no one is plotting against me!
Tristin
So I am glad that Plati lost because the only people there from our tribe are Rain and um *checks blog* Lenny (forgot ab them cuz yk... irrelevancy.) Either one of them can go and I wouldnât care. Hopefully they get out Elle which I doubt.
Tristin
Oh TRISTIN what big legs you have! Well the better to carry my tribe with darling.
Michele
I was really worried for that comp because I have never seen survivor but thanks to dumb answers and the alphabet I was able to help my team not lose!
Rain
It bears repeating. Oy vey. We lost. We lost and Iâm in the fucking bottom a la random.org and Iâm pleading my case and Elle has told me I wonât go home next round but if we go to tribal again and I vote out Lenny this round itâs way easier to go for me than their own tribe members!!! Oy fucking vey!!!Â
Michele
I really like Erick and Dusty! They really helped a lot in the challenge today. Sucks that theyre the top 2 on my current tribe hit listđđđ
Tristin
Yâall need to Trustin Tristin so we can Tristwin
Franco
okay so completely unexpectedly, Van just added Cranjes and I into an alliance chat. I wasn't anticipating this at all?? because I thought they didn't like each other, but I'm rollin w it!! It seems really fun, and at the very least I can ride it for a couple rounds and use it as a safety net
Lenny
Rain and I are scrambling to try and get majority. This is a mess and I know they are going to vote me out. I want to cry and I guess this karma for gregg osddndnncifud. I donât know what to do. I need a hug.Â
Fae
[bernie sanders meme voice] i am once again asking you to change your pfp
Fae
So we swapped. Iâm with Maxyne, Elle, Lenny and Rain. Sooo... I have an alliance with Elle and Maxyne, but I told Rain and Lenny I would gladly work with them. I have happily forced myself into the middle with an idol in my pocket. Iâm sitting pretty, and not acting like myself.Â
Elle
I started an OG Plati alliance with Fae and Maxyne only because I feel that it is inevitable that we work together, at least for this one vote. We came to a consensus to get rid of Lenny rather than Rain. I attempted to pin the decision on Maxyne to keep my hands away from the situation. Plus, if I make other people feel in charge, then they will drag me along. I think I helped in this situation by lightly suggesting to Maxyne in PMs that Rain feels like they have a genuine connection with us. I also said that to calm Maxyne down. They are very nervous going into this tribal, and they know that the idol is gone from the Plati idol hunt. This signals to me that they do not have the idol. I am scared moving forward with this vote because I can feel a blindside in my bones. I just hope it is not me who is will be sacrificed in that scenario.Â
Lenny
Fae just suggested an alliance with them and Rain! This is big news. Last night, I approached Elle and Fae about why they should keep me. Elle said to not âcount myself out yetâ and now Fae did this. Of course I am still in jeopardy and donât want to get my hopes up but who know what could happen now.
lenny
I've been reflecting on my friendship with Rain. During the first week, I was suspicious of them but now I am truly grateful to have an ally and someone to chat with. They are a really smart player and I hope they go far in the game if we can make this tribal work in our favor.
Dusty
So our tribes swapped and I could not have been luckier!!! I stuck with Erick, and even tho we were in the minority in terms of original tribe, I felt a lot better being with my closest ally. Not only that! But Eliza approached Erick saying she has the other half of the super idol! Now what the hell kind of good luck is that! Whew okay so now Erick, Eliza, and myself have formed an alliance, and i feel great about it!! Iâm also really happy with the other members Worm and Michele, and we got a lot of bonding in through the challenge. Now this brings in the question who will i be working with moving forward. Will I stick with my original tribe come merge, or will i stick with my new tribe! All I know is that I will be working with Erick and Eliza until the end, well thatâs my plan at least. I think that the tribal tonight will determine a lot. If original Plati sticks with the original tribe majority and takes out a Nera member, then sure thatâs fine. But I would love to see smart players come together and maybe make an interesting play! I could see myself working with Fae come merge, and Elle I would be happy too as well for a bit, but losing Maxyne now could be more beneficial for me down the line. But hey! Theres so many possibilities and outcomes so Iâll just sit and wait and see what happens!
Eliza
Dear diary...
Jay asked me who Iâd vote out if I had to so here yâall go I obviously donât want to vote out Michele, A. Iâm not interested in losing nera numbers right now and elfranchele is a group of people I want to work with at merge so keeping that intact is vital for my game right now. I donât want to vote for worm because Michele wouldnât agree and once again, numbers. I also love worm and find conversations come very easy when talking to them so someone I can bounce ideas around with is someone I want to keep. Dusty is someone who would come to my mind as a first vote but seeing as they have to other have of the super idol I can really do that, I decided to tell Michele about the super idol so that in case we lose she knows why we canât afford to vote dusty out.
So numbers and idols wise that would leave Erick, only issue is, I really like Erick a lot and donât want him to go. I could definitely see myself working with him in the future, but more importantly, Iâd lose dustyâs trust if I voted out Erick, I losing dustyâs trust means losing any chance at having that super idol. So then weâre stuck in a position where no vote will benefit me and every single outcome would bite me in the ass, vote worm or Michele? Traitor, vote Erick or dusty? Losing a super idol. My best bet would be trying to have a heart to heart with dusty about why Erick has to go, but if dusty doesnât agree with me and refuses to let Erick go? Iâm royally fucked and would probably have to vote worm a good ally of mine out. Or I could trick dusty into giving me their half of the super idol although itâs unlikely it could happen but itâs not something that I think would happen realistically. So Iâm simple terms, fuck
Eliza
NdndbdbfbfhÂ
Eliza
I forgot to say I have a steal a vote, that was meant to go WITH the key smash, oopsieÂ
Fae
Sooo, I have successfully shoved myself into the middle. I am in the alliance with Elle and Maxyne, and the Kostas Alliance was just made. With Lenny and Rain. I also have the idol so Iâm sitting pretty. Now I could completely get blind sided here. But I have chosen to work with Lenny and Rain. I trust them way more than I do the OG Plati.Â
âErickâ
So, tribe swap. I ended up on Vathis with Dusty, which was the luckiest coincidence of all time, thanks random.org for ur good will. Worm immediately said hey, followed by Michele and Eliza, and after Eliza and I talked for about one minute, she said she was happy to get the opportunity to talk to me because, one lucky coincidence after another, Franco was the person who got the reward from the other tribe and he shared it with her. She said upfront that she and Franco wanted to work with me and whoever I gave it to, which, Lucky Coincidence, is Dusty, also my most trusted ally here. But Eliza seemed sweet right off the bat, and I made an alliance with the three of us. I went looking for the idol and was afraid of the monkeys for a moment, so I didnât approach, but I went back the next day and gave them an orange and they gave me a package with an idol in it!!!!!! Iâm so blessed!! Lucky Fuckin Coincidence.
We started slow on the challenge, but made a killer comeback and took second when the third place tribe gave up two hours before results. It was an excellent tribe bonding experience where we roasted each other constantly for our idiotic mistakes. Michele is nice but was not contributing much, and what she did contribute was nominal. Worm is also nice but sometimes Iâm at a loss of what to say to them. A lot of the time I talk they just respond âoooh niceâ lol. But Dusty approached me today and said they found the place where the idol was, so I revealed it to them because I felt good about the situation, and because I think Dusty is too smart to have not considered that I may have been the one to find it. We have a nice little secret between the two of us now, and a bigger secret of the super idol between four of us. For the moment, I feel like weâre in a good place.
Worm
This tribe swap wasn't such a bad thing. I am very lucky that I am the only tribe that has a majority Nera members on it. This does have me worried because with us winning means that we are putting the rest of our old tribe members in danger so it does make me wonder that if it would every be a good idea to throw a challenge to keep some of them safe. Coming into Vathis with Eliza and Michele has me excited and slightly worried. I got pretty close with Eliza during the early rounds but I do still believe that her and Michele are very close based on how they interact in the tribe chat and how they mention each other in pms. But I do think that the still trust me enough to work with me over any of the new people. I'm also very happy that I have more time to strengthen relations with them, especially Michele. The two of us have been talking since day one but we never truly gotten over that hump of small talk so hopefully with us being trapped on a tribe together for a few more days will help ensure that we have a better working together. Now onto Dusty and Erick. So far I like them both and I do hope that they are good at challenges just for the sake of keeping our tribe safe. Honestly right now I have no opinion of one over the other of who I trust more. This kind of makes me nervous cause if I was swapped into a tribe as a minority I would be trying my hardest to connect with everyone as best I can to keep my ass safe. This has me wondering a little bit about if the other four are working together and if we lose then I'll be the one that gets voted out. Hopefully I'm just overthinking all this but only time will tell
Rain
So... Here we go. Vote is due in 1.5 hours and hereâs how itâs going. According to everyone speaking to me. Elle and Maxyne are going to vote Lenny. Lenny and Fae are going to vote Maxyne. I love all of the people on this tribe. But I know If I vote out Lenny, I will be absolutely in the minority and near certainly the next to go. They can say itâs Fae all they want, but it wonât be. This early, tribes stick together. Iâm leaning toward voting for Maxyne. I love Elle, but I think as long as I donât vote her out, I can manage the damage (ooh that rhymes). And then we just donât lose again.Â
Maxyne you iconic homie, youâre fun to talk to and I hope you succeed in redemption, but you wonât succeed for now.Â
Elle
I feel nervous all of a sudden going into tribal. I feel like people are lying to me, but there is nothing I can do about it now. I checked in with Maxyne and Fae. LEt's hope this goes well.
Maxyne
Okay, so this round could either end me or ummm end me later. I've been confessing to people that i barely did anything for the challenge which in hindsight is a TERRIBLE idea but i can't stay silent. I would hate for someone to take the heat for a mistake i made. It's the morals i guess, makes me stupid. So i've been telling the truth to people about how i'm feeling and what i've done. Basically to everyone except Lenny. Lenny is who we're planning to vote out. Or at least who I said should go. The OG Plati queens, Me, Fae, and Elle are sticking together. Obviously it irks me that The OG tribe is basically gonna Pagong the minority but my morals are only active to a point. I want Lenny out cause I feel like I could rally people to get him out. However, if the vote flips on me, I wouldn't be surprised. I feel like shit but if i can survive this round, I might start feeling better again. Tribal is about to start... wish me luck. MaxyneWASKFESACHFSCESHNCAWUSCKSJCASCFHUEHFCWYGIFWHY8OICIEJICESDCOI SHNUV BSYCB YSABC YHSAC YSHAJS Well that happened! I can finally take a nap. Sorry Jay. You know I can't win these games.
van
Yes this is late, but here we are. God this game is a whirlwind. WE WON THE CHALLENGE THOUGH. Actually fucking stomped the other tribes. Iâm avoiding going to tribal with these tribes of 5 because honestly small tribes scare me. You never know what tf is happening. But it doesnât looks like weâll be playing the tribe line games on this one. Cranjes and I stuck together after the Big Alliance got fucking eviscerated by Jayâs expansion. We then recruited Franco because he is v scared of tribal lines and Cranjes and I think we can get him to vote our way to save his own ass. Yeehaw

Episode 6 - "Thank all gods, even the weird ones." - Stephen
Thank all gods, even the weird ones. I was not ready to go home pre-jury again. Although Iâm still wondering if theres a hidden redemption island twist because most merges happen at 11 not 10. I also need to be careful of Clash. I trust him now, but heâs a strong player. I need to be able to have my own game apart from his, and be ready to vote his ass out when he starts getting too close to ftc.
Um so I have to vote one of my 3 closest allies which sucks but if I vote Allan thatâs the best it wonât upset pat or randy and keep Stephen with me as well I hope I win this game I will IAÂ
Liana won immunity which sucks because she was the easy vote and puts me in a terrible position. So far Ginger and Emily/Vilma are possible votes
----------
Everyone's so cautious about saying names this tribal council, I definitely needed that immunity. If I don't hear anything from Liana/Ginger/Emily, I'm going to put Ginger's name out there and see where it gets me
----------
Looking quite bad here, Emily did tell me I should be safe, but just incase that was to mislead me, I attempted some very poor guilt trip/flattery. :(
iâm like pretty okay with going to tribal tbh because i trust the four in my alliance with me? like the only one iâm a bit weary about is ginger just bc sheâs like a lil weird in general lol and she could turn on a dime :/ but i do think that if she did choose to turn on me, vilma, and michael, she wouldnât choose me to vote out this round. sheâd probably go for michael? but thatâs only IF she chooses to flip. idk if she will. i have high hopes that this round will be pretty smooth. if i had it my way, we could vote tyler out now because i think heâs not as invested in this game as jacob. and itâs hard to play with people who are invested. if tyler or jacob donât go this round, at least from our tribe, iâll be very confused? also looking forward to merge! iâm worried but at the same time iâm content. like itâll be a small merge which i love and i have pretty good relationships with a lot of the people left. so! thatâs cute! i think iâm in a good position right now. well liked, in a somewhat powerful position, and under the radar for the most part. i havenât really done much (or gone to many tribals for that matter) that have made me feel like a threat. yes, i was a leader on the saolatoga tribe and i was the one that brought up danielâs name at first, but it was like an easily agreed upon decision. i donât think people were too shaken or surprised by it. itâs something on my resume for me to see, not everyone else. and thatâs exactly how i like it! iâll read my list of doings at final tribal council. and iâll wow the jury. but it wonât be obvious to them what iâm doing until they look at the game more objectively. i think thatâs a good way to play. always on peopleâs minds, but not too much. positive opinion, involved in big decisions, but never the ring leader to the point where itâs dangerous. i think iâve figured out a good balance! iâm hoping this takes me far. to the end!!!
----------
so there's a lot of stuff going on so im going to try to organize my thoughts. here we go. liana is immune, so that's hard on the rest of the tribe who... pretty much all wanted to vote her out but that's fine. honestly liana being immune is better for me than it is anyone else, so I am fine with it. it is making waves though, but they're fun waves. so the alliance of ginger, michael, vilma, and myself mentioned either tyler or jacob because they're the only options not in our alliance right now, but the thing is, ginger went CRAZY and was pushing for us to NOT VOTE TYLER WHATSOEVER! and they just kept pushing for jacob instead. I was very weary about this, but I didn't say anything at first until michael messages me saying that tyler is gunning for ME. and then vilma messages me saying that Michael told her this too, only he said that the reason tyler was gunning for me was because she and I were so close. SO! this means that tyler is aware of vilma and I being in an alliance. and ginger was probably the one to mention it to him. and then GINGER MADE A GROUP WITH VILMA AND TYLER SO THAT VILMA WOULD WANT TO PROTECT TYLER MORE. anyway, once this got out, michael and vilma and I made a group to talk about the vote and I think we're leaning towards ginger for the following reasons 1. way too protective over tyler for no reason. how the fuck are they so close? 2. tyler somehow knows about vilma and i's connection even though we've been extremely low key and I have never talked game with him 3. ginger is just actually crazy I think we can get liana and jacob on our side way easier than we could tyler. we're planning on telling liana and jacob about the vote, but leaving tyler and ginger in the dark. we just need to make sure none of this gets back to ginger like for real! they leak literally everything. I literally JUST messaged them saying that Tyler had thrown out my name and not even two minutes after I get a message from vilma saying that ginger had asked her about tyler throwing out my name. like ginger gets information and RUNS WITH IT. I truly cannot trust them. and it would create less waves to vote ginger out than it would anyone else on the tribe I think. like... after all the craziness that's going down, we need to send ginger home. I could kind of tell that ginger was a little weird, but I didn't expected them to be so cracked like genuinely cracked. lmao
Annoying Lyana HAD to win immunity, getting your lazy-social ass in multiple ORGs make u slay the physical game...and now I feel my ass is in danger! Im gonna do everything in order to stay here and Im already making plans. Not resting for a sec.
Sluggy voted out... saw that comming, him cheering on Stephen may have screwed us a bit At least its not Merge Double Tribal is gonna suck though. FreeRice is a great challenge, while im not 100% comfortable in my position atm but I am going to throw this challenge a little to reduce my threat a bit. Oh yay... the only one we didnt want to win immunity, and they win immunity, this is gonna make tribal fucked. I dont know what we are gonna do atm but i will to figure something out.
----------
Pre Double Elimination Tribal: I may have done it. It was messy bjt with the order of events, I may have been able to pull the strings to get Ginger voted out. Its going to have to keep Tyler in the dark but its going to have to be a risk we take. Ginger it too full on and too wild. He can't be trusted come merge 100%. Tyler i think we can work with a bit at least
Double tribal? No thank you. Iâm hoping itâs allan that goes home, I never thought Iâd say that. Iâd really like to survive this tribal idk if I am though. Iâm v nervousÂ
Uhhh so apparently we didn't merge and we have a double elimination round instead (Again???? I wonder if it's a redemption type thing this time). I couldn't compete in the immunity challenge due to a busy weekend irl so I'm vulnerable and really just hope I make it to merge. This round ended up being quite an emotional rollercoaster for me, here's a recap of some of my thoughts: 4:16 AM So ngl I would've wanted to go for Liana had she not won immunity She seems very sweet but I have chatted with her the least out of everyone She might've felt she was in danger Now I'm a bit lost and hope at least someone would tip me off if my name's thrown around 5:14 AM There's no way Ginger is voting Tyler out 8:26 AM Hmmm Jacob wanting to vote for Ginger I think Tyler I bet doesn't want that I'm trying to imagine whether I'd be willing to sacrifice Ginger or not if it came down to it I'd rather not I think Because he's been very open with me about his relationships and stuff So I feel I have a good read on him atm He still hasn't revealed he knows Clash though And I know he is capable of being messy Very good socially So I'm definitely scared of him But he is one of my closest bonds here atm so losing that would suck Of course if it comes down to me or him I have to go for it This really sucks because I like everyone on this tribe Jacob said he's closest to Emily and Tyler Tyler saying he wants to work with me and Ginger These relationships are so complex it's gonna be hard to find a common target And I don't even know what's my own preference I change it every three seconds 2:05 PM I tipped Michael off that Tyler and Ginger have become pretty close And he made a point that betraying that trust could cause us problems at merge Which I agree with So that leaves us Jacob I like Jacob a lot he is super nice but I agree he would probably be the 'least problematic' boot besides Liana As long as Emily is fine with it God I really just want to make merge and jury I've never not made them so my heart would break a little if I didn't Although my heart will break a little having to cast a vote for someone on this tribe tonight Everyone's so nice ugh 3:33 PM Um Okay so Michael told me Tyler is gunning for Em??? Apprently because her and I are close Soooo he wants to take a stab at me too? Not stunned by that That's not the best thing to hear right after establishing an alliance with someone Kinda feeling uneasy about Tyler and Ginger now People I am not voting for 100%: - Emily - Michael - Liana (she's immune lol) I feel Emily and Michael are being 100% with me So that makes me feel good about them 4:50 PM So looks like it'll be Ginger going That kinda sucks and kinda doesn't (mostly does) I'm partially okay with it because I've honestly been spooked by him since the very first day, he is very strong socially and he likes to be controversial sometimes which I like to stay away from as much as possible BUT That guy trusts me And he is genuinely very nice I like talking to him I'm gonna feel super super super dirty voting him out My heart will be filled with sorrow and I'm kinda scared of his anger afterwards He has been super honest with me so far But others are being put off by his aggressive playstyle Ughh it breaks my heart to lie to Ginger But Iâm not gonna go out of my way to save him here I just donât think that would be smart plus the numbers just wouldnât be there Plus I feel more secure moving forward with Emily and Michael 0:04 AM I feel really really bad about this, haven't really been able to eat all day I understand why I took a six month break from orgs My mind is just not built for these I feel too bad about betraying people Plus I just think this move isn't quite ideal for me I'm betraying someone who trusts me so much and leaving out Tyler who also wanted to work with me, at least if I was alongside Ginger But I really just feel more comfortable staying with Emily and Michael I'm so sorry I'm a pussy and don't want to go out of my way to save an ally It's on me 0:57 AM I might have just messed up because I just talked to Liana assuming she had already heard about the plan but turns out NO ONE had talked to her about it yet... Two hours before tribal???? God if she lets Tyler or Ginger know I am going to be in massive trouble Also I don't think I can attend the tribal live I feel sick and disgusted at myself because of this vote, it's too much I hate myself Ginger I'm so sorry you were nothing but a good friend to me and I'm doing you so dirty I feel absolutely horrible having to lie to your faceÂ
Did I already make a confessional about this? idk. I won immunity! yay! this is good on two ends: I cant get blindsided and; I can maintain a fiction with my Ala Mai boys that I would have been next to go most likely if I need to. Right now the target is Allen, because if we vote Randy out Pat will be miffed. My only issue with that is it gives Pat a lot of power, especially if its not an American who gets voted out from the other tribe.Â
So that immunity didnât go well. The one person we couldnât have winning the challenge, won the challenge. Now the 4 are going to have to cannibalise ourselves and I definitely fear that eyes are on myself and Clash. Our only hope is to try and get Stephen on our side but Iâm really not sure if weâll be able to do thatÂ
youtube
Arg hi. Just woke up and weâre gonna thrive today. Thatâs a lie I never actually thrive itâs a facade. Anywho weâre going to tribal cause of the double tribal twist hooray. Everyone was down to vote liana but oh no she won immunity. Right so I like ginger and Jacob but these rats are going after eachother. Everyone is extremely quiet I wouldnât be surprised if it was me going. It looks like we donât have enough votes to save Jacob idk, I just donât want to be voted out ok bye
Nothing is cooking like im so bored Stephen own the individual immunity challenge so now the four of me pat clash and allan have to vote out im voting allan out, hope they do
