it's so crazy how pjms are always right in their narratives.

i saw a lot of talk that after jimin's hot100 #1 with like crazy, jk ran to 🛴 like a spoiled, selfish child to get #1 too.

is because jimin became THE FIRST k-pop soloist to reach #1 on the Hot100 with his self-written korean song "Like Crazy "... he broke all the records that could be broken without any support, NO radio, NO mediaplay, NO company push, EVERY SINGLE PLATFORM WAS AGAINST HIM. he even suprassed his own group :)

even though i think jk is the most self-centered, asshole and despicable man alive, he still managed to surprise me with this attitude lol

just like jkks can turn interactions into things they aren't, the opposite is true as well. when jk said he didn't like like crazy, i dont really think he meant that he hated it. yeah, he couldve been upset that he didn't get the records first, especially if the company had told him pre-hiatus that they planned to get him there, but it could also be that he just doesn't vibe with synthpop or the song in general. it's okay to not like a song, even if its a widely loved song. i personally dont like august by taylor swift all that much but it seems to be a swiftie favorite, and its okay that i hold that opinion.

i wouldnt put jk being selfish out the window completely, but i just think a majority of us are taking this more seriously than it has to be. he could just have a specific taste in music that lc didn't make the cut for

we have all the reason to be proud of jimin for his achievements and soty like crazy, but we can also express out love towards jimin and our anger towards jk without completely tearing jk down. my goal with my blog is to have a (mostly) positive space to have level headed and factual conversations while still being able to let you guys vent your frustrations and anger. be as angry as you want and i'll help hopefully cool things down and give you another perspective

i get why you're so angry thought. i adamantly refuse to give seven even three seconds of my time because of everything surrounding it and how it seemed to have been made with malicious intent. i have not listened to it to this day and i dont plan on ever listening to it. i went so far as to mute the show whenever jk would even just sing it. but even with my disdain towards jk, im not going to hate him. he seems a bit lost in life tbh and its probably because he grew up in the industry with authority and producers always directing what he does and how he acts. losing bits of personal autonomy seems common in celebrities that entered the industry young and i feel a bit bad for him. if we're gonna hate anyone though, let's hate 🛴 instead because he needs a serious reality check

On a personal note...

This is a personal story, so feel free to scroll on past (if you're only here for the Jikookery I can respect that).

I'm posting this because it's connected to what Jimin and Jungkook (specifically Jimin) may or may not be doing with this album and their travel series "Are you sure", and by that I mean coming out publicly as queer and as lovers. If it sounds vague, it is, because I don't know what they're doing yet. I don't know how far Jimin is taking this or what direction he'll go. But if he is going to make his private life public, then my post is relevant even though my experience is a microscopic spec 0f what he will encounter.

I live in a conservative little town on the edge of a big city, we're almost the last stop on the metro train line. This place has 10 000 residents and a reputation for being a little on the rough side. It's not a bad place and the people are not bad people but they won't step aside if you pick a fight, lets put it that way.

There's one high school in our little town, and I am the school librarian. I also run the school's pride club and when I started it 5 years ago (that's when I joined this school) it kicked up a bit of a stink. The community had mixed feelings. I wasn't out as trans at that point, only as queer. The school principal supported the club but wanted me to keep it quiet (I didn't). She wanted me to be appeasing (I wasn't). And when we had challenges from homophobic students, she wanted me to 'let her handle it' ( I didn't).

I responded to bigotry with patience and kindness, modelling the behaviour I expected and having many many conversations about prejudice, the patriarchy, learned behaviour, fear of the unknown, and minding your own damn business....

When I came out as trans to the school community - changing my name and pronouns - I faced some real push back from both staff and students. Students were less openly hostile but sometimes the subtle attempts at bullying are worse. My line manager was really difficult about it. I was a hot topic of conversation. It wasn't a good time. But I stuck with it, partly because I couldn't go back and partly because the Pride Club students were so empowered by what I was doing. They thought I was really brave. I couldn't let them down.

It was a tough time for me personally. Every day was a struggle as I navigated my wavering sense of identity and tried to be true to myself. Most of my family and friends were okay with it but some were not. Some flipped back and forth, some thought I had lost my mind. I had to let a few people go from my life, including one of my closest friends. I've lost a few more since then. I've cried more in the past few years than I have in my whole life and I am pretty tough, so you gotta know - it was a lot.

Fast forward to now. The pride club is well established, homophobia still exists but it's less overt and it's no longer ignored, and we have staff who are active allies. It's definitely a success. Our students to have a safe place where they can be themselves, and slow change is coming to the culture of the school.

It has come at a personal cost though. Not a HUGE personal cost but enough for it to matter. I am recognised and known around town because, well, most people in small communities know each other. But more so because of my role in the school, and because I am the only out and vocal queer person on school staff (yes, there are other LGBTQIA+ staff but they keep it quiet, and I don't really blame them).

At school i still have to correct people on my pronouns on a daily basis, and occasionally a student will throw a comment my way but it's not often these days. I have to come out to all the new staff pretty much as soon as I first meet them otherwise it's awkward. It's just an everyday thing. It's not a big deal but it's tiring, and it's something cis/straight people don't ever have to think about.

What is tough, though, is sniping from the community at large every now and again. I have been targeted on community socials and I've had had some pretty brusque service from local shop owners and service personnel in local businesses. Sometimes I see kids from school at the shops and they point me out to their parents. I pretend it's because they're happy to see me (what the fuck else am I going to do - hide in the apple crate?) They may say a friendly hello... or they may following me through the aisles of the supermarket trying to menace me - yes, that has happened - I just have to wait and see.

I do have allies in the community too - like the gorgeous pharmacist who always gets my name and pronouns right and compliments me (on whatever he can think of) every time I collect my meds. There's a stern woman in the hardware store who makes a point of loudly correcting herself when she uses the wrong pronouns (often). I appreciate this, I really do, but honestly it would be great if she could be a little quieter.

I am not a celebrity by any means, just a small town school librarian. But wherever I go in my small town - to the doctor, the supermarket, the park, or the gym - there's a chance I'll encounter someone who knows my face. Sometimes that makes me nervous.

The point of this long and boring post is to give people who may not know what it's like, a bit of insight into the experience of a regular, everyday person who lives in a conservative place and who is both recognisable and queer. It can be exhausting, and from time to time I struggle with mental health issues. So I have no doubt that for people who are really well known, it would be much, much worse. They would be the subject of public debate on news sites and TV. They'd be tossed into arguments by politicians on both sides of the divide. They'd encounter hostility in person too, and that's really frightening.

So please remember that if the celebs you admire choose NOT to come out, it's because they've weighed up their choices and that's the safest option for them. Support them where they're at, so they can live their best life under the circumstances.

If they do come out, they'll probably need even more support. Please love them, defend them, celebrate them, and validate them. They need you more than you know.

And above all else, be a good human.

I don't know why Hybe thinks this plan is gonna work when it might actually end up doing the opposite. The more Jimin gets mistreated the more his fans get angry and the angrier they get the harder they work. Notice how much Jimin's solo fandom increased in 2023 and how much we have improved since FACE era. We're seeing the results of that improvement now with MUSE doing better than FACE. If all that bullshit hadn't happened, if Jimin had a smooth ride then we wouldn't have had the need to learn and improve so we could support him. Which is why jjks are useless, because they didn't have to learn how to get shit done on their own, they just let armys and the company do everything.

And speaking of armys, what is happening with pjms is exactly what happened with them. BTS mostly didn't get much from BigHit/Hybe so armys had to learn how to do things themselves. BTS was also getting hate from everyone which made armys angry and we know armys always work harder when they're mad about something. And armys were also shunned by the rest of k-pop fans, named as 'the worst k-pop fandom' and blamed for every bad thing that happened. The same thing is happening with pjms being ostracized from the rest of the fandom, named 'the worst solo fandom' and blamed for everything. And just like all of that made armys hyper focus on BTS and work even harder, pjms are also focused entirely on Jimin and do everything we can for him. So again, I don't know why Hybe thinks doing this to pjms is a good idea considering the fact that the same thing happening to armys only made BTS bigger.

Despite what ot7 nonsense armys like spreading the truth is that most fans are very biased. Every fan has their favorite member and if that member is continuously being treated poorly by the company and the fandom then this member's fans are at a risk of becoming solos, especially if they're being scrutinize and villainized by the rest of the fandom the way that Jimin fans are. I mean, armys are practically forcing Jimin-biased out of the fandom with the way the act because if Jimin fans are gonna be accused of being solos no matter what they might as well actually become solos. So doing all of this is only gonna increased Jimin's solo fandom which, as we've seen since last year, is actually what members need since they can't depend on the group's fans when it comes to their solo work. And we know that after some time focusing on the group after their comeback the members are eventually gonna go back to focusing on their individual carrers and the group is gonna be pushed to the back more and more as the years pass. So having a well established solo fandom that already knows how to support their artist is gonna be essential for the members in the future, and Jimin is the only member that currently has that. Jungkook doesn't have to worry about that because despite jjks being useless he has armys who the company has increasingly been pushing into become only his fans, but the other members are gonna have a rude awakening when they go solo for real and realize they have no proper fandom to back them up.

And another thing is that despite Hybe's attempts Jimin remains the most popular member in the US (and in Korea, Latam and the UK too) so is very stupid of Hybe to push away the audience they've been pretty clear they want the most. We already saw the consequences of that with all other members (including their chosen one) being unable to chart a single song in the US (NP doesn't count cause that's Megan) all while Jimin has charted multiple songs, hasn't left the US charts since we recharted LC in the beginning of the year, occupies the entire top 5 of biggest streaming days and weeks in the US, is the most streamed k-soloist in the US with quite the gap and Who is soon gonna be the most streamed k-pop song in the US (which LC isn't already only because we started focusing on Who instead).

So Hybe can keep pushing Jimin fans away from the group because all that does is take away BTS biggest supporters in the west and it will only benefit Jimin by giving him a solid fandom of his own for when he goes solo.

Aptly titled, I would say.

Because like most jikook supporters I'm sure, I'm still like..."Am I sure this isn't some dream? Are we really getting this much OFFICIAL jikook content?"

Anyway. Yes, I think we were all shocked when that schedule was released and we realized we were not just getting the expected documentary, but a freaking PHOTOBOOK and MERCH too!

Now, I've seen some posts address anon comments about this being a cash grab etc etc etc

My stance is: It IS a cash grab...AND SO WHAT?!

HYBE is a company. Their goal is to make money. Therefore, any paid-for content they put out should be seen as a 'cash grab' then. Solo member photobooks, BTS merch, All documentaries, Albums etc. Yet we don't hear the phrase floating around then. So the cash grab argument here doesn't even begin to make sense.

So why put that out there? Simple:

Those who are using it have one clear intention - Minimize Jikook spending time together down to...umm...what's that age old phrase?...Ahh, yes...FAN SERVICE!

They think they're so slick.

Well, here's the probable reality of it all:

Jimin and Jungkook knew enlistment was coming. They made a choice and decided that wanted to spend time together.

At the same time, the BTS members were all leaving various content to tide us over.

It would be no stretch of the imagination to believe that either

jikook were approached by BigHit to turn part of their already planned vacays into content since it would be a nice change and fans would love it.

OR

2. BH had planned to have a travel show, and jikook grabbed the opportunity to do it, knowing that it would also mean they get to spend time together (what they wanted) while working. Killing 2 birds with 1 stone as it were.

Either way, I firmly believe that with or without a documentary, Jimin and Jungkook would have travelled together anyway. Who knows? They may have well travelled to other places which were not documented. And even within filming, I am sure there were places they went and things they did that were not filmed, and just for them.

The fact that we're also getting merch and a photobook is a pleasant surprise, and yes, it does seem as if HYBE is capitalizing on the much anticipated documentary of two very popular members, and 1 very popular duo.

And I don't blame them. Again, they're a company whose goal is to make money.

They're simply putting out an additional product that people can simply choose to purchase or not.

And I for one am here overjoyed because it's just more jikookery for me. So, I don't care.

BUT! It does not minimize that at the core of it all, no matter how much paid-for content is put out, this whole thing was based around one simple fact - Jimin and Jungkook WANTED to spend time together.

And they did.

And that is apparently a very hard pill to swallow for some.

So they concoct yet another false narrative as their coping mechanism.

So let them be. It's going to be a very, VERY rough two months up ahead for them, my fellow supporters.

Let's just focus on having fun with jikook, enjoying what we get and flooding our timeline with all things Jimin, Jungkook, and Jikook.

As the morning sun timidly seeped through the curtains, you reluctantly opened your eyes, greeted by the harsh reality of a pounding headache. The remnants of a restless night clung to your senses, and you groggily fumbled for the snooze button on the blaring alarm. As you reached for the snooze button, the weight of knowing you probably tainted Jimin's day with your usual tales of heartbreak settled heavily on your conscience.

You feel like shit right now because of your hangover though you do get up after swallowing 2 painkillers that were placed beside your bed with a glass of water. You are very grateful for having Jimin as your roommate- Jimin's angelic presence is a treasure you never want to lose from your life. He has given nothing but empathy, compassion, comfort, solace, advice and never-ending "big-bro" talk to you that you are very grateful for even though you may not show it and perhaps occasionally roll your eyes when he gives you the pep talks.

Realising it's almost 6.00 a.m., you hastily iron your classic pencil skirt and a pink blouse that had wrinkled up as you tend to be disorganised (sometimes) while you wait for the throbbing headache to subside. Working for JKH MedTech was great for you - your boss is a sweetheart elderly man you regard as your late grandfather. So arriving late wasn't going to be a big issue as your working space has always been filled with adoration, laughs and supportiveness in projects and every way.

You rarely arrive late as you have always been a morning person. You wake up at 4 in the morning every day... a pattern you've been practising since high school, something Jungkook very well knows. There's some undefinable feeling about waking up early, enjoying the tranquillity before the storm, finalising reports and relishing a cup of coffee in the morning.

Meanwhile, on the flip side of the city, Jungkook was waking up with a different kind of passion, barring the feelings he was going through last night and ready to conquer the day with a new project at JKH Tech. Something that he's been working on for years to finalize- to take over the CEO position and integrate JKH MedTech with JJK MedTech. Unaware of the parallel narratives unfolding.

7.00 a.m.

You step into the luxurious reception hall, where you are always welcomed and greeted nicely. The receptionist greets you with a warm smile while you greet them back. You enter the lift, and as the doors glide shut, you feel the subtle vibration signalling the ascent. The digital display above the doors blinks with each passing floor until it settles on the familiar number - 52. The lift slows to a halt, and as the doors part, you step out into your workplace, ready to face the day on the 52nd floor.

"Good morning, Y/N. Are you okay? I hope everything's alright because you rarely arrive this late." Your boss said with a concerned expression.

"Ah, not to worry, Jaehyun, everything's fine... just a little hangover." You laugh off.

"Today is going to be quite hectic as we're hosting our new merger for discussions and deals. Please refrain from pushing too hard on the new project for now, as there are more pressing office deals that require our attention. Additionally, I may need your assistance with a few tasks, given that this old man's brain tends to have its off days. For the time being, everything is to be kept under wraps, and we'll update you all once we've reached a conclusion. I hope that clarifies things."

You bid him goodbye with a good luck sign to wish him all the best in the negotiations and continue with your daily routine. You wonder what is going on behind the scenes with the negotiation deals. Nevertheless, you hope the company gets a good outcome.

7.30a.m.

In the back of a sleek black sedan, Jungkook absorbed a brief from his assistant while his driver navigated the city. Dressed sharply, he focused on the day's agenda of meetings and strategic moves. The luxury car moved through the urban landscape, carrying the anticipation of crucial decisions.

As he approached the entrance of JKH Tech, the glass doors slid open, ushering him into a realm where ideas took flight and were greeted by your very own boss, Mr Daehyun. Unbeknownst to him, on another floor of the facility, you were on your own trajectory, oblivious that your paths would intersect within the confines of the exact workplace.

To say the least, Jungkook was astonished with this company's architecture, formality and service. He has never stepped foot into this building before. This is because the previous negotiations have always been done at his own empire, JJK MedTech. Causing your boss to always have trips there. His presence today hinges solely on the fact that it's a deal-breaker moment. Intrigued by the place's reputation for fostering breakthroughs, he's here to witness its unique qualities and faculty firsthand.

As Jungkook makes his way up to the boardroom on the 53rd floor, a floor above you, he feels something in the pit of his stomach, a subtle shake that was indescribable forming. The elevator's ascent seemed to echo the rise of expectations, and Jungkook, momentarily captivated, couldn't quite pinpoint the source of the sensation. Nevertheless, despite the momentary distraction, he managed to shake himself out of it.

On the other hand, you were arranging and decorating the 53rd-floor main entrance just a few moments before your once-lover made it to the boardroom. Could that be why Jungkook experienced a subtle shift while navigating the building?

Whilst the boardroom was in the act, you and Jimin caught up at the nearby café. You felt excessively sorry knowing you tainted Jimin's day with your usual tales of heartbreak. Jimin's a gem - rare to find. His observance is the best part of him... he notices the slightest details and treats you well with unwavering love. One spontaneous Friday night, he surprised you with a box of dumplings after noticing your craving. Despite the hefty salary from JKH for your top-rated service and intelligence, he recognized your disciplined approach to saving money for the future. The act of bringing you the dumplings wasn't just about fulfilling a momentary desire but also a testament to his understanding of your priorities and a sweet reminder sometimes, it's okay to indulge in the present.

"Hey Jimin, I hope you didn't mind yesterday's drama. I'm genuinely sorry for whatever I unconsciously said...thank you for staying with me. I really appreciate your kindness." You said to Jimin while sipping on a cup of cold coffee.

"Y/n... I told you countless times that it's fine with me. You don't need to apologize, okay? Your sentiments are valid. I respect that." He said while enfolding you in his embrace. The same one in which the big bosses usually conduct influential business deals, which includes Jungkook today. The air shifted, and the lighthearted exchange gave way to a more serious atmosphere. Jimin is JKH's CEO's secondary assistant in business affairs... which doesn't require him to be involved in most deals or affairs. This was undoubtedly serious.

You both split as you ascended to the 52nd floor while Jimin continued his journey to the highest floor at number 53. You were definitely worried, not sure of the reason for what happened and how Jimin was involved. You are also worried about the outcome of JKH. Imagine having no idea of a deal, not knowing what's going on, everything kept hidden and away from the faculty. You choose not to listen to the rumour that the company is to be taken over or merged. You have worked with JKH for 6 years and have complete faith in them. Whatever that's finalized is their choice.

You distract yourself by occupying yourself with more work. The sounds of keystrokes and document fills the silence in the air. Despite the intensity of your focus, you couldn't shake the occasional glances at your phone, yearning for updates from the boardroom and the unfolding events.

In quiet moments, Jimin reflected on the enigma that was Jungkook. He wondered about the experiences and motivations that led him to mastermind such an influential takeover.

The journey of unravelling the layers of Mr Jeon had just begun, leaving Jimin in anticipation of the implicit narratives that lay beneath the polished facade. Jimin decided to keep the newfound information to himself for the time being. Despite the revelations in the boardroom, Jimin doesn't want to immediately share with Y/N the significant role of her ex, Jungkook. Understanding the personal connections, Jimin decided to allow Y/N the space to process the changes without the immediate weight of this revelation.

I think the sleep deprivation I had a few hours ago didn't let me appreciate Jungkook's cameo (someone commented in one of my posts that it was a cameo and I loved it jaajaj) in Jimin's Wlive properly but now, after having watched the video more carefully, I have some comments to make:

1, I've said this several times but really the way Jimin's face lit up when he saw Jungkook was there was priceless. I don't know if it was my imagination or my phone but his face even seemed to turn red.

2. It's endearing the way Jimin genuinely gets shy whether other members see his work or not, that's not right, he gets shy to see the other members see his work or not, that's not right, he gets shy seeing the other Members appreciating/watching/listening to his work. And I think that's what happened today and why he almost immediately said to Jungkook: bye. It's the same reaction he had when he saw Hobi's comment and understood that he was watching the Wlive and therefore the documentary as well.

3. I know we have already said it several times, but it's funny how they don't flinch when one of them gets too close to the other, for example today when Jungkook approached Jimin's microphone, Jimin didn't move his head to avoid such proximity, he did the opposite! he lowered his head to see what Jungkook was doing? The same when Jimin stretched out his arm to touch Jungkook, Jungkook immediately moved closer for Jimin to touch him and when Jimin decided to touch his chest, he didn't even flinch.

Something I have thought since last year is about the why, why we did not get to see them supporting each other (apart from JK in the dance practice BB. I never had a doubt that JM was off to see JK in NY, at least in some capacity, it would have been very unlike him, and was proven right when the pics of them going to Antova were leaked, and then the boat ride. To not even get a selca, or a pic of them at the time, again unlike JM with Yoongi etc, only getting the back selfie on JKs birthday, which was loud (and after MS application deadline markedly) But that was the very marked difference to me. We knew that JM was in NY, and that JK in his live after GMA was looking to the side, we now know JM was in the hotel with him, so could have joined him, but he didn't - not then, and not after. To me, if they were just friends and bandmates' going live would not have mattered one bit (not even due to the cult/haters/solos whatever), because it whuld be no different as I say than JM going live with Yoongi after D-Day tour, visiting Hobi during his birthday live, or Joon, or them visiting each other on music shows - but JM and JK did none of that, not really. Why? Especially the lives - he could have joined JK, we knew he was in NY because he flew there, they are bandmates, we were expecting it, and we got nothing at the time. Why?

Obviously, we have a fuller picture now, one where we know about the show, we've seen it now, we are also now getting the bts content and photos from the book. We now know that JK flew back from NY, went straight home (running in the airport) to where JM was there/joined him, cooked for him, they spent the night together, and then went to Jeju the next day. JM made a point of locking at the camera when he told us this, he wanted us to know, but we only know a whole year later. It is another ‘I was with JK at 4 AM, it is giving 'I think JK is sleeping'. We now know that despite what they have allowed us to see in filmed content, they also took moments during their travels for themselves, for their own memories just them (although I am still greedily hoping for a GCFP2. I just blew my own point, but I still think that we should not only see jikook as showing us they're '100% boyfriends out in the open in front of us' context. We need to remember that they are idols and artists in front of the cameras and husbands and lovers once those turn off. That part is not for us.

That they're willing to 'sell' jikook as a unit means that they know how strong they are as a unit, and that they have healthy work-life balance. I really do think so. That's when you start venturing into reality tv where the whole lot is scripted for show. Remember how AYS?! was kinda slow at times? Kinda nothing going on but endless moaning about delicious food? To me, Jimin’s comment regarding sleeping at Jungkook’s isn't played for us, to hint, but just to show a closeness between them as members.

We have more than just eyes, we have emotional depth to see behind the touches and silences. We see what we want to see because we are not homophobic enough to think they're being manipulated either way to spend time together.

The realest thing they did for cameras was enlisting together. Seeing how these big accounts caused a lot of damage to many people over false information that they did not bother to fact check before but even worse didn't even think about making a follow up post apologizing not only for the misinformation but also to the people who have been impacted by it, this says a lot about what kind of people they are and the type of values they grew up with. Because those accounts are owned by real people too, which means that the posts are also influenced by their personality and values, knowing damn well that because of YOU people are being sent death threats and not even a simple "Sorry"?

It is quite sad actually because we're seeing fewer and fewer big accounts in this fandom being completely honest and unproblematic. Ship whoever you want, stan whoever you want, heck if you want to be a solo go ahead no one is stopping you as long as there is no disrespect out there, as long as there are limits, literally no one gives a fuck what you chose to do or believe in.

A this point i feel like i used up all of my energy in writing this post and if i go any longer it would no longer make sense so i'm stopping here. Please, let's do better for our boys, i know there's like a whole year for us to wait for all of them to be together again but i swear a year is not as long as you think it is, so in the meantime please let's work hard for them, if we can't be present on social media as in actively posting and all that's fine but at least let's be supportive and let them know that we did NOT forget them and we are still here for them, we still love them and we will continue to do so.

Thank goodness both Yoongi and Jungkook were being sent to the same hospital, Taehyung and Jimin arrived an hour or so after you, you made sure to give their names to the nurses so they could come see you, since you had to be admitted due to your knee, and the horrible frostbite on your nose and fingers.

You’d been put in the same ambulance as Jungkook, and although you were so happy to see him, his state made your heart shrivel up. His eyes were shut, and he looked so pale, you could still see some little spots of frost on his hair. He was still breathing from what you could tell, and you wondered if he could still hear you.

You tried reaching for his hand but the EMT stopped you, explaining that they had to take his temperature and then wrap him up in wool blankets, given how cold he was to the touch. All you could do was talk to him.

“We made it, Jungkook! We're almost at the hospital, you just have to hold on for a little longer,” you felt yourself tear up, why had this happened this way? You were supposed to be running off together right now, with Jimin, Taehyung, and Chris in tow. How had it all gone so wrong?

You were separated once you made it to the hospital, they had to take him for some tests and you to get your knee and ribs taken care of. The pain was unbearable, you hadn't realized how bad your knee was hurt until they set it back in place, then again, the doctors said that you had just reached normal temperature. Maybe you were too cold and too worried about Jungkook to care.

You were given crutches and pain meds and sent on your way, the hospital needed the beds.

“Ynie?” You saw Taehyung standing in the waiting room, tears in his eyes. You were so grateful they had made it to the hospital, and you didn't hesitate to give him a hug.

“Tae, thank goodness you're here!” He hugged you tightly, and soon after Jimin hugged you as well, the baby in his arms was now swaddled and had a little beanie, “did they tell you when Jungkook might be waking up?” the latter asked as you pulled away, you simply shook your head.

“I hope it's soon, did you guys see Yoongi? Is he okay?”

“We know he's awake, and we know he was screaming, but so were a lot of other folks,” Jimin answered. It was like he called on something, all of the sudden more screaming was heard. It wasn't just victims in pain anymore.

You saw a woman with one of her children down on her knees screaming. A bigger family hugging a pair of small children, a man quietly sobbing in the corner, and so many others. You were so lucky to still be alive, to have the one you love still be alive. You felt horrible for all of them.

“That big family over there, aren't those Martha's kids?” Jimin nudged Taehyung, who immediately made his way to them, followed quickly by Jimin.

You watched as they talked to them all, the kids immediately hugging Tae’s legs, his face contorted a bit as he kneeled down to be at the children's level, they hugged him tightly. You realized quickly that their mom probably begged for someone to take them up to the lifeboats, or maybe she'd managed to get there before they launched and she put them in there first?

Did you see her floating body when you were in the water with Jungkook? Had she been one of the first screams to dull down, or one of the last ones along with you? You assumed it was the latter, you hoped that's what it was and not that their other family had to come get them because they had no one else left.

Taehyung and Jimin sat quietly next to you in the waiting room, the dread you felt was unbearable, almost like the same dread you felt just a five days ago, when you boarded the ship that was now thousands of feet underwater, you wondered if there were alive toward the end, and you shivered at how horrifying, dark and lonely that must’ve been, going down with a ship and seeing nothing but darkness during your final moments.

You shuddered.

After what felt like hours to you, a doctor finally came out “Relatives of Jungkook Jeon?” The man called, he butchered your lover's name so horribly, but you didn't care at the moment, you stood up faster than your brain could realize and Taehyung ended up having to hold you up since you forgot your crutches.

“I'm his wife, is he okay? Can we go see him? Will he be discharged soon?” your mouth was moving faster than ever as you asked the questions.

“Mrs Jeon…” the doctor took a deep breath, you'd seen the look he was giving you before, you and your mother got that look when your father passed away. You started breaking down. “We did all we could but he seems to be in a deep comatose state and he can't breathe on his own,” he explained. You felt your knees buckle under you.

“Do you want us to stop life saving measures?”

How can this be? You both made it, you both got taken out of the water, he made it to a hospital. Why was that not enough? Why did his life have to end? You couldn't go on without him, you could go on, you were supposed to run off together.

“Mrs. Jeon?”

How could they ask you such a thing? You weren't going to kill the one you loved, who would do that? Surely there was something they could do, Jungkook would pull through, he was going to come back to you and they would have to, they were doctors afterall, if they couldn't save Jungkook then who could they save?

You suddenly felt faint, and all you heard Taehyung and Jimin yelling your name.

Where am I?

That was your first thought as you floated through the bright void you found yourself in. It wasn't like that for long, morphing into what seemed to be Jungkook’s hospital room.

“Hey darling,” hearing his voice made your knees buckle again. You turned and ran toward him, he was awake and smiling, you jumped into his arms and he hugged you tightly.

“What are you doing here? You're not supposed to be here,” you were confused.

“What do you mean? We're supposed to leave together?”

Your lover sighed, the pain in his eyes was something you hated seeing. “This is my stop darling, I won't be able to join you,” he explained, and you felt yourself break all over again, “Remember what I said in the water? You need to live, make each day count, and one day we’ll meet again okay?” he held your face in his hands, “it’s okay to let me go, just don’t let them bury me okay, my body being in one place forever is not like me at all,” he wiped the tears streaming down your face.

“I’ll never let go, I will live for both of us Kook,” you bid farewell tearfully as his hospital room door opened. At the last second you felt him pull you, giving you one last kiss before what felt like a gust of wind pushed you out of the room.

And then you woke up.

You were still on the ground, Taehyung was holding you and the doctor was checking your pupils with a small light, “Are you okay? You scared us half to death, Yn!” Jimin sounded frustrated but relieved, you attempted to get up, but the doctor and Taehyung held you down, encouraging you to do so slowly.

“I’m sorry,” you whispered as they helped you up, Jimin handed you your crutches, and the doctor placed his hand on your shoulder. “It’s okay Mrs. Jeon, I’m sorry that I couldn’t give you better news, I’ll let you think about it and you can let one of the nurses know what you’d like, and they’ll let me know.”

Once he was gone you let Jimin and Taehyung know about what had happened, about your…dream? That’s what it had to have been. You told them what Jungkook told you and they were nothing but supportive, letting you know that whatever decision you made they’d be by your side. So you decided to let him go. It wasn’t the easiest decision, and the last few minutes of Jungkook’s life were the most painful you had ever felt in your short 18 years of life. You sobbed as they listened for a heartbeat or for any breathing. “Nurse, let it be on record, time of death is 20:25,” he put his supplies back into his coat pockets, “I’m very sorry for your loss Mrs. Jeon.”

Taehyung held you and Jimin rubbed your back, as he had his baby in his arms, you sobbed until your head hurt. The only good thing about this was that Yoongi did pull through, his right leg had to be amputated due to how broken it was and the damage the frostbite had done to it. It was a few more weeks before he was fully discharged, and thankfully a lot of first class passengers had come together to get accommodations for less fortunate survivors, Ms. Molly ended up finding Tae and Jimin, and you hid behind a pillar with Yoongi, who begged to not be seen by anyone you knew, whilst they spoke.

“Have any of you seen Yn? Or Jungkook?” she asked with a concerned look on her face. “We think they died in the water,” Taehyung sounded somber. You peeked to see the woman who had been so motherly to you, for a split second you thought she caught a glimpse of you.

“Oh…” the older woman’s voice shook, “well, I’ll give you this, I had set it aside for Jungkook, he was a wonderful young man and he deserved a better start here, you should be getting checks as well shortly with some compensation and Mr. Ismay has arranged for transportation for you and…anyone else who traveled with you,” she said a little louder. She whispered a last take care of her, before she walked away. They did end up getting $950 each, totalling a good $1900. You all set to travel up to northern New York, you wanted life away from the busy city for now, but you will ensure to live life to the fullest. For yourself and for Jungkook.

3 days before the travel show and I feel already all over the place. So many emotions are already flowing, and so many questions to answer. I know that whatever expectations we have of jikook, they always somehow surpass them. But how? And how will people react? And how will we be able to handle it?

If you told me we'd get 8h+ of jikook content, I would have laughed. But it's not only content, it's just the two of them, with no other distractions, no work, just their real unfiltered interactions, in a context where they can simply have fun and enjoy being with each other. I feel like crying with how huge and unbelievable that is.

I don't know what we're gonna see, I can only imagine but I don't know, because we've never seen them in a situation like this. This is complete uncharted territory. And it makes me scared and anxious because there's a limit to the bro spin. What if they do something so huge people can't deny it anymore even if they try. Jimin said "I don't know if we can air this" and it doesn't calm my worries.

When we get seconds or minutes it's already on the limit. The articles are using very romantic terms already. But in 8 hours+? Sooooo much things could happen!

I am excited because I know we're gonna see them so happy, and it makes me happy. But I am scared as well because I don't know how far they're gonna push the boundaries, and I hope they will remain safe.

People would say "Don't worry, they would edit it out if it got too far". Would they? Really? They didn't edit out the hickey, they didn't edit out Rosebowl. They are pretty loose on the editing and what's supposed to be "politically correct" when it comes to jikook. And jikook however you squint act and feel and look like boyfriends on a 2 minute clip already. So in 8hours+? What the hell are we in for???

This show looks like pure joy, pure love. Like this is it guys, this is the most jikook we're going to get in such an intimate way. This is like a (BIG) peak into their relationship.

And they are letting us see it. Can you imagine how lucky we are? What's happening is INSANE. It's just not something that happens in normal life.

Everything will be on display. Except haters anyone with eyes will see their love. I'm???

This is really beautiful, because us jikookers we truly love these two men, and seeing them this happy, I think we're gonna reach levels of joy little things in life can provide otherwise.

This is a really special situation, with really special feelings, in this particular context, that will rise us up collectively, make us feel so many emotions, maybe all at once? Perhaps we'll cry, scream, hold our breath.

We spent so many years supporting these men, against all odds, because we recognized love and it touched our hearts so deeply it made us want to celebrate every little moments. We never faltered in our support.

Well I feel this is like the reward for all the love we've been giving back to them.

This is our time, truly.

“Whichever way, I feel like Tae has a bullshit detector. He's been doing this for a long time, right? He knows all the shenanigans. My controversial thought is that this one moment, the only one in the entire episode, is the moment serious Tae comes out to play. Where he doesn't actually seem that amused by it and his laugh doesn't quite reach his eyes. His "really? Why?" is in a serious tone that doesn't actually seem like his mood for the rest of the episode. It's the only time I think he's having to participate in a narrative and he's not here for it. I also wonder if it's annoying being told what it's like to sleep with your own boyfriend.”

So I have question: Why would this happen? Why would they do this to TK aaall these years?!?!?! Is this necessary to go THIS hard?!?!?! I genuinely do not understand!!!

Well I don't know if this is just me thinking negatively, you see.

I actually think BH really presented the whole thing in a natural kind of way and I've been so happy with AYS so far.

So broadly, in terms of why things like this seem to have happened before and why these narratives are in place:

It's good PR. I think all celebrities kind of have these simple stories to pull out in interviews. Maybe it makes good sense to have a curated public image that provides a smokescreen for the private life that exists somewhat seperately. Does that make sense?

It creates a distraction. If you adhere to the idea that there's a same sex couple in this group in a conservative country and their reputation is at stake, they might not want people to look at that. So a distraction from the truth makes sense. So Jungkook being in Jimin's room a couple of times maybe turns into "he's always in my room at 3am" and suddenly nobody is looking at the contrary evidence that he's been with Tae.

Tae isn't supported and his designated character is Weird Loner. This is kind of more troubling to think about but I do personally believe there's been efforts to isolate him in the story. Him being super close to Jungkook doesn't support that.

And you know, I don't think it's a tinfoil hat conspiracy theory that this happened. All of this worked. It did exactly what it was supposed to. There are people even now absolutely convinced that Tae and JK didn't spend any time together over certain periods when we know otherwise.

I don't know why they had to throw particularly Tae under the bus with it by going this hard. It's also put JK and Jimin in an awkward position. I also don't know how they don't see the Streisand Effect of it.

If this is what happened here, and I do completely think it was blessedly isolated in the episode, there's a reason for it. We needed to know they shared a cabin for some reason. Maybe they didn't actually share a cabin and that's not in keeping with the vibe of the show. Maybe it's something as simple as keeping up appearances. Even in a show that seems to be dismantling a lot of previous ideas, it doesn't make sense for your road trippin' besties to not share a cabin? (Even though late twenties and wanting your own space is pretty normal, I think) I don't know, just theorising.

I'd love your thoughts on it. I may have delulu'd too close to the sun.

Just a thought and unrelated to anon: I don't know why I've suddenly come over all insecure and nervous but I feel kind of bad for putting a negative idea out there when we're having such a lovely time with this episode and since Hawaii really! I try to treat this as my blog to say my genuine thoughts in but I do feel a lot of responsibility to say the right things sometimes. But with all the love in the world, I'm assuming everyone knows that if they don't love any of my energy, they can curate their space accordingly. The moment of peace and quiet is shattered as, unannounced, Jimin and Jungkook burst through your brother's apartment door and strut into the living room where you lay idly on the sofa and watch a movie. They had more free time than expected, they claimed, and thought to spend it with their favorite noona. 

What more is that they come to witness Yoongi coming back from the kitchen with coffee and finger food and visibly frowning when he sees that you've sat up and the two younger men have taken all the seats on the couch—especially his. 

Wordlessly setting the plate of peeled tangerines and mini sandwiches onto the coffee table, Yoongi settles his defeat onto the floor, him and his long black curls just an arm's reach or so away. There's a pout on his lips that makes you bite back a giggle. 

Alas, Jimin, ever the keen-eyed observer, doesn't miss the subtle reactions between you both. "Noona, hyung, are you two…" he began, giggling like old women do to gossip, "a thing?" 

Even Jungkook, who had been so engrossed in the film, turns his wide doe eyes to the conversation in intrigue. 

Glancing Yoongi's way, you watch as he half-heartedly rolls his eyes and shakes his head. "No," he says, "we're not. I'm just here waiting for Jin-hyung."

Hiding your smile under the guise of munching on a tangerine slice, you, too, scoff for additional support. "The only time we held hands was when we were 12 and I had to stop him from pushing me into a pool." you retort, taking it one step further as you cast a fleeting smirk to the begrudged man lounging on the floor and sipping his mug. 

That was a complete and utter lie, of course. You know very well how Min Yoongi loved to hold hands—especially yours. 

See, a few months ago you and Yoongi have become a thing, ultimately deciding to keep your relationship a secret to savor some privacy and mess with the rest of the boys while the two of you were at it. There was also, of course, the musician's woes over your older brother—and his only hyung—finding out about you two and not approving. 

Min Yoongi is very much the soft bastard the boys tease him to be, and far from the cold, enigmatic man everyone else thinks he is. 

Min Yoongi, who loves cuddles, especially for taking naps. It gives him much needed energy for the woes of life, he said.

Min Yoongi, who thanks to his quiet nature, knows very well how to love you in secret—immortalizing you in his works, giving each other knowing looks, and always doing wordless acts of service. 

Min Yoongi, who gladly plopped back to his seat on the couch when the two boys finally decided to go home and leave you two alone yet again in Jin's apartment. 

Nuzzling to his side, you rest your head onto his shoulder with glee as he intertwines his fingers with yours. The gummy smile on his lips is always an endearing sight. "Do you think we should tell them soon?" you then wonder, looking up at him with a slight grimace. "Jimin's very much onto us at this point."

Yoongi hums thoughtfully, brushing your hair back from your forehead. "Do you want them to know?" he asks in a manner that makes your heart giddy like a schoolgirl. 

For a moment or two, you think to yourself. "Hm, I don't think I mind anymore," you smile, giving his tummy a little poke as you wiggle your brows at him. "It'd be nice to hold someone's hand more often."

His chuckle paired with a nose scrunch is an infectious bout of joy. "Maybe that someone would like that a lot, too, actu—"

"Noona, I left my—" 

The silence in the air is immediate—you and Yoongi frozen on the couch while Jungkook gawks at you two by the door. 

A second or two later, the scene finally clicks on the youngest's head and he grins. "You two are a thing!" he cackles, forcing you to rush and pull him into the apartment before he can run outside and tell Jimin what he sees. 

"Jungkook!" you shriek, shushing him with your hand over his mouth. "Shut up, and don't tell a soul about this. We haven't made plans for it yet."

Tattooed hands pry your hands off, still grinning with mischief. "What's in it for me?"

You glance back, seeing Yoongi now up from the couch with his arms crossed. "I'll buy you lamb skewers for a month?" you offer to the younger man.  

"I'll let you live," Yoongi drawls instead. 

"What did Jungkook do again this time?"

One after the other, surprises catch you off guard as you older brother, Seokjin, enters through the door, shedding his coat off as he looks at the three of you, bewildered. Damn, you didn't really want things to be found out this way. 

"Nothing," Jungkook coughs, most likely nudged on by your boyfriend. 

Still, your brother isn't one to be easily swayed by this, eyes squinting in suspicion. "Is it about the two of you?" He questions with one hand on his hips and the other pointing between you and Yoongi. 

"What do you mean?" you feign a smile of innocence, one your brother only laughs at. 

Seokjin comes between you and Yoongi, giving you both pats on the back—for trying, you suppose. "Everyone could tell, (Y/N)," he grins, giving Jungkook a knowing look. "You two aren't as slick as you think."

"Oh," you could only say, a part of you irked yet relieved all the same. You choose the brighter side, pulling away from your brother's hold and circling your arms around Yoongi's waist, who shyly holds you back. Finally, no more holding back.

A kiss to your boyfriend's cheek alone is enough to send your brother gasping, utterly offended. "Ya! Just because I'm allowing this doesn't mean you can be scandalous like this!"

Hi, I recently was thinking about something, and I don't want to start anything so I wanted ask on here, an RM blog lol. Lately, I was wondering why certain members don't chart as much. Like RM particularly. I thought his newest album was super great, and also Indigo. But he didn't do as many numbers as all the rest. I'm a supporter of all members (I stream, buy the members albums, watch vids etc), but it seems like many Army isn't doing the same with RM. Once again I'm not trying to start anything, it's just an observation. I know RM is fine and we stans and Army love him. I just wish he had more support that's all. Ok end of my rant ❤️

I could scream about this on the rooftops until my voice gave out, anon. If you can believe it, it's actually so much better than it used to be lol.

In my opinion, there are a couple of reasons:

• The main one is just member popularity. He's the least biased member. So much so that for a lot of army, he ends up being an afterthought.

• Most of us have a limited amount of money, and now we have group AND seven solo careers to support. That have been consistently released. There's always SOMETHING coming out. Unfortunately, there are some projects we have to skip. While that doesn't explain the dip in streaming support, it at least explains part of it.

• Third, his music is not to everyone's tastes. It's not as publicly digestible as the group's music. He really experiments with his own sound. I think army as a whole RESPECTS him & his music, but it's not everyone's vibe. (And that's totally fine, I get it. There are solo projects of other members I don't vibe with as well, that's human.)

• There are more solo stans in this fandom than people think. They like to call themselves army so their bias gets army's support, but when it comes down to it, they're really just present for Jimin. Or Jungkook. Or Tae. They actively ignore the other 6 members' projects, as they don't want them flying higher than their bias.

I'm sure there are other reasons at play, but I feel like those are the main reasons. Do I wish army would rally behind him the way they do the others? YES. Have I made my peace with it? I mean, sort of lol. It is what it is.

Don't let it upset you. At the end of the day, we're still winning. He knows he's loved and supported. ♡
