Raghuvan, Teri raah nihare
Chapter 10, part 2
S/N: made me cry. @vijayasena enjoy bbg
"What is happening here" the annoyed, manly voice, was no one but Babai himself. Ram pulled Sita behind him, stepping between Babai and her. "You asked me to get them married and then come here, begging to him? What's the point? My disrespect? When will you realize that you will never be anyone's, that you will never get married and you're just a who-"
"Babai, that's enough" Babai stared at Ram. "Even if you get married to this" Babai pointed at Sita "Remember I will never accept her and, what am i even supposed to tell Adikavya?" He threw his hand up. The tension in the room was leaking, and any bypasser could know what was happening. Jangu stared nervously, unsure what was going to happen. "Why won't she leave us alone" babai cried, as Sita huddled closer to Ram.
"Because I love her" Ram realized he didn't get to answer Sita. "I love her and i dont care what her job was. No one who speaks ill of her has ever sat with her and heard her voice, listened what she said, see what she likes to do and what goes on in her mind. No one knew how she loves and how true it is. No one knows that she was ready to sacrifice her love for the sake of my happiness. For your happiness. So no one gets to speak things that are not true. I am going to marry Sita, and Adikavya's family should have known before betrothing her to me. And if they knew and didn't care, then they don't love their daughter"
Babai's anger shot through the sky. Despite Ram's attempts, he hastily grabbed Sita by her arm, dragging her out of Ram's room. "I don't care what magic you have done on my son, but I ask you to leave. Now". Sita held her sore arm, crying softly. Ram didn't like the treatment his lover was getting by his own uncle. He stepped forward, gently pulling Sita towards him. Babai let out a exasperated sigh.
The commotion has gotten enough attention now- the groom enveloping another woman! Hushed voices and giggles were audible by the seekers, and amongst them stood the only well wisher who came to bid goodbye to the groom.
Akhtar made his way to Adikavya's home. The decoration was up to par, the wedding ceremony ready to be unfolded in a sacred space adorned with flowers and traditional symbols. The fragrance of incense wafted through the air as everyone was busy. He hurried through the steps, hiding and making his way to Adikavya's room. As he wouldn't be allowed to enter, he picked up a flower vase nearby, asking girls where the bride's room was- the vase must be kept there. Finally finding her room, he barged in, scaring the lonely bride. He quickly kept the vase down, and Adikavya was confused once she saw Akhtar. "What are you doing here?" she whisper yelled, scared he will be caught. Akhtar couldn't help but rake his eyes. Her red lehenga with gold embroidery, the jewellery and simple makeup, it all matched up. She looked like a princess.
"Akhtar?!" He snapped back to reality
"Sita, she came back to Ram and Ram is determined to marry her. Pack your bags and leave, this is the perfect opportunity" Akhtar said, to a lost Adikavya. He sighed. "Adi, this is your chance. This wedding will be broken because Ram isn't going to marry you. You deserve better."
"You deserve me", Akhtar thought, "You need to leave, now, and you will have a better life."
"But what about my parents? My family?" She looked tired.
"Do you think you will be able to become someone they will be proud of?" Adikavya was taken aback. She wanted to complete her studies, get a job, be in a good position and earn a lot. She wanted to be a change. Adikavya nodded.
"Then go". Akhtar handed her a bus ticket to Delhi. "My mother and sister will be waiting, just tell them your name"
A sudden uproar outside made her anxious. Adikavya stood there, looking at the ticket in her hands. The strings of her life were in her hands now. She went to grab her packed bags, Akhtar helping her carry them. They silently made their way out, but a bride never goes unseen. Her chachi, who looked nervous, came running in her pink saree, when she spotted adikavya out of her room.
"Adi" she started. but before she could say something. the bags and Akhtar caught her sight. "Please" Adikavya muttered. "I'll be fine" her chachi, looked down, back where the mandap was set. She opened her pouch, giving her a bundle of currency notes. Adikavya gave her a teary smile and hug, when they escaped from the back gate, unknowing of the hassle unfolding downstairs.
In the meantime, Ram was tired of Babai disrespecting his going to be wife. Ram took Sita's hand, and pulled her with him, Babai and Jangu running after them. "Ram-" Sita tried, but Ram's eyes only glinted at her. "Don't worry. I am here". Ram stopped in front of Adikavya's home, when he spotted the mandap set.
Sita's heart beat faster and louder than the dhol, which stopped. The fire provided a warmth to her cold, shivering fingers. The anxiety never calming down. When Adikavya's family witnessed Ram holding a dressed up woman, they stared in horror. Her brothers stepped up, holding Ram's collar. "Do you think this is a game?" Ram freed himself from the grip by force, giving a dead stare to her brothers. Adikavya's chachi slipped away. "You think this is a game" he pointed at them, "marrying your sister to someone who already has rumors to his name. Is she a burden to you?"
Adikavya's family was furious. They approached Babai, who were already tired with the drama. "What about our Adikavya?" They hollered, when her chachi came back, whispering something in her husband's ear. He shot her a look, and then looked at Ram. "What do you wish?" he stepped forward.
Sita's eyes sparkled with anticipation as she listened to Ram. "I wish to marry Sita, and I wish that your Adikavya lives a life she wants." Adikavya's family has understood their own situation by now rather quickly. When they don't have a bride themselves, how can they stop the groom marrying someone else? They hung their head in shame, knowing well that they can't let any relative know that Adikavya has run away. But her mother decided to have an upper hand.
"Do what you wish, because we are not letting our daughter to marry someone like you. Better heartbroken than insulted" she said, then disappearing in the crowd. Ram looked at Sita, and the tears that rolled down her cheeks. He softly wiped them away.
Amidst the lively chaos, the Ram's eyes sought his bride. The moment of their glance was magical, as their eyes locked, sharing a silent promise of a lifetime together. The pheras, each step resonating with promises of love and understanding, added a solemn and spiritual dimension to the festivities. The exchange of vows, the tying of the mangalsutra, and the application of sindoor marked the beginning of a sacred union.
Sita only remembered being tired in that golden look of hers, but she never expected that to be her bridal clothes. Hell, she never expected to be a bride. Ram and Sita knew they will not be getting any blessing from any elder anytime soon, but they also knew that Babai will come around. Sita remembered the first time she saw Ram- a wet newspaper packet in his hand with two paans, his eyes curious and clothes neat. Something struck in her mind, giving him a golden shadow whenever she looked at him. Sita remembered losing herself to live life, but Ram was the first time she thought about herself.

This was also posted to A03 under: WaywardGaPeach. That account and this one is the only place you'll see me post this. If you see it on any other platform/account know it's not me.
Chapter Summary/Warnings: Your wedding day arrives
"Y/N I swear, if you don't go to sleep you won't make it to the wedding!" Karen's hollow threat made you crack up laughing even harder. You hadn't seen the point of spending the night before the wedding apart but Frank being Frank insisted you and Billy do something in line with tradition considering Maria had been pregnant yet they spent the night before their wedding apart.
That meant that while Billy was sound asleep on Curtis' couch that Karen was listening to you having a case of the nervous giggles. "Kare! What if I trip?" You whispered in the dark the mental image of doing a faceplant causing tears to slip out the corner of your eyes from how hard you were laughing. "Curtis won't let you fall! Now go to sleep before I go sleep in Adi's room with her!"
You went quiet for a few seconds and she thought you'd finally fell asleep until you poked her shoulder. "What?" She asked turning to face you with a laugh.
"Thank you for being in my life Karen. When Maria died I never dreamed of being that close to someone again or seeing Frank as happy as he is. You've helped us all so much just by being you" her smile turned less joking and more serious "I'm glad I wandered into yours and Frank's life. I have a family now and I wouldn't trade any of you for anything in this world. I love you, that being said go to sleep so we aren't late to the venue in turn causing our guys to go into full panic mode worrying something happened to us and Adi"
That mental image made your eyes widen in horror "Jesus those two would tear New York apart" you smiled at her then turned over willing yourself to be soothed to sleep by Billy's cologne that still clung lightly to his pillows.
------------------
You were up the next morning downing your third cup of coffee by the time Adi woke up and came stumbling into the living room where you were waiting. "Mommy? Where's aunt Karen?" You smiled and picked her up onto your hip "Aunt Karen went to meet aunt Alice and aunt Kenz at the venue. They're making sure everything is set up. Me and you are heading there as soon as you get dressed"  she grinned up at you as the two of you walked back into her room "Are you excited mommy?" "Oh I'm very excited babygirl"
------------------
The venue had a room for you and any attendants to get ready and one for Billy but considering your wedding party was so small the rooms were basically being used for those invited before the actual wedding to spend time together and plot photos before the ceremony.
You were sitting in front of a mirror while Alice and Karen did the final touches on your hair and Kenzie did Adi's. "Billy is so nervous it's adorable" Kenzie spoke from her corner of the room and you couldn't hide the smile on your face "Billy? Nervous? Someone may have to snitch me a photo" Alice caught your eye in the mirror and shook her head "You know the rule ma'am. He's not allowed to see you therefore you're not allowed to see him either"
You playfully stuck your tongue out at her "spoiled sport" she laughed and placed the final touch on your hair. "What do you think Y/N?" You turned sideways and smiled "I love it!" Kenzie turned the chair Adi was sitting in around to show off her updo "Mommy look!" You smiled at her "Oh baby, you look beautiful"
Kenzie grinned then said "I'm going to go find the photographer, see what shots she wants before the ceremony then afterwards you can round up everyone for group shots" "can I go show uncle Frank my dress?" Adi asked and Karen shot you a look before she said "I'll go with her to make sure she doesn't accidentally mention that her dress matches yours" "Thanks Karen"
--------------
Once it was just you and Alice in the room she sat down on the bench next to you and put her arm around your shoulders "You know I'm going to do my best to embarrass both you and Billy during my toast at the reception right?" You laughed with a nod "I wouldn't expect anything less" she laid her head over on your shoulder for a moment before finally saying "I'm glad he didn't actually ever want to hurt you. I've never seen you happier than with him. You two are made for each other"  "Thanks for always being in my corner" you said and she leaned up far enough to leave a feather light kiss on your cheek "Always babe. Always"
-----------------
Billy was pacing the small room reserved for the groomsmen and was fairly certain Frank would've already knocked him out had it not been for ruining wedding photos by the groom having a black eye.  "Bill" Frank called his name and he stopped in his tracks "What Frankie?"
"She's been in love with you this long. I don't think she's gonna run today ok?" He half laughed "I know. I just never thought this day would come, now it's dragging on" Curtis laughed then a knock at the door drew all of their attention "Can we come in?" Karen's voice drifted inside so Curtis opened the door.
Adi came running in first, her dress billowing around her "Look uncle Frank, look daddy!" All of Billy's nerves took a backseat seeing his little girl all dressed up and with a smile that big. "You look so beautiful!" He told her as he caught her mid air. He spun her around once then she turned to look up at Frank who said "Lil bit you're prettier than anyone here" Adi smiled big "Mommy looks so pretty! Aunt Karen says daddy's gonna cry!"
Frank tried and failed to hide his laughter at Billy's expense but Billy didn't doubt that emotions were going to run high when he finally saw you at the end of the aisle. "Oh did aunt Karen?" He asked with a smirk and she shrugged innocently "I live with Frank, I know you pretty well by now. You're gonna cry but it's ok. You're around family"
----------------------
After taking photos of you and your girls in the bridesmaids room the photographer suggested moving outside onto the grass for a few shots. Karen and Alice went out first to clear the path of Billy.
You didn't realize they were doing a first look of sorts. You didn't have any blood family but when you stepped outside Frank and Curtis were standing there and smiles spread across both of their faces and you could've sworn they teared up just a little "So what do you think?" You asked after doing a little spin. Frank pulled you into a hug first and whispered into your ear "You look beautiful Y/N. I wish Maria could see you today" you smiled then leaned up to kiss his cheek "I got you and Karen here in person and I know she's watching us all"
Curtis grabbed you next and said "You're trying to take Billy on out aren't you?" You laughed and shook your head "Maybe just a few skipped heartbeats nothing serious"
You hadn't realized the photographer had been clicking until she told Alice "oh yeah. I got some great shots" you turned to look and Alice grinned "Just cause you're not traditional we needed a few of the usual shots! You should see the ones of Billy and Adi!" Your eyes lit up but the photographer shook her head "No ma'am. I've been promised to not let you see until after the wedding" you sighed "Fine then!" But was smiling regardless.
--------------------------
You were fine when Leo came back to give Adi her flowers and guide her to the head of the aisle, you were fine when Karen headed out but when Curtis came to the door of the room you found your hands shaking when he held your bouquet out. "You nervous Y/N?" You shook your head "Just don't let me fall Curt, ok?" He laughed and held his arm out "That's a deal"
You took a deep breath then let Curtis lead you into the small chapel. When you finally raised your eyes they found Billy's. You felt yourself calm immediately just seeing him. Every day since you met him had lead to this and now even after so much you were finally marrying him. He smiled when he saw you and sure enough Karen was right, a few tears slipped down his face "You good?" Curtis whispered and you nodded as the music started.
--------------------
Billy felt more than saw you and Curtis. The moment he looked up he felt tears spring to his eyes as a smile slipped onto his face. God you looked absolutely beautiful. Every memory he had with you flashed through his head, from early days as friends through nights before holding you in his arms. Through giving you every reason to leave him behind you never stopped loving him and were now going to become his wife. He had only dreamed of this day and now it was finally here.
---------------------
Adi stood next to Frank as the justice of the peace said "I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss the bride" and shouted "KISS HER DADDY!" which made everyone crack up. Billy glanced back at you and smiled before pulling you into a kiss. When he pulled back you both had tears in your eyes "I love you Mrs Russo" he said and you gave a watery laugh "I love you too Mr Russo"
Everyone started clapping so you and Billy turned to face them as Adi came running over so Billy picked her up. She looked over everyone and loudly announced "MOMMY AND DADDY ARE MARRIED! LET'S GO GET CAKE!"
-----------------------
The reception was beautiful. The cake was perfect, the dance floor was off the side and everyone was in good spirits.
You were talking to Matt and Foggy when Billy came by and slipped an arm around your waist "Sorry you two I need to steal my wife for a bit" "I think he likes saying that" Foggy teased with a grin. Matt smiled and held out his hand to Billy "congrats you two" Billy shook his hand then glanced back at you "Thanks Matt"
You didn't know why Billy had come in search of you until you heard a glass clanking and looked up to see Alice, Frank and Curtis at the head of the room. Karen was standing to the side with Adi and a smile on her face "Oh this is the toast part of the evening isn't it?" You asked and Billy nodded before handing you a glass "Might as well go along with it. If we fight they'll get more embarrassing"
You shrugged and turned to face the trio. Frank winked at you before taking the microphone "All of you here know me. You know how I know Y/N and Bill. I'm gonna keep it short and sweet. I went too many damn deployments hearing him whine about whether she was gonna ever give him a chance. These two have went through it since then but they're still standing today.  I love them both even after knowing em this long so Bill, Y/N congrats"
You clapped and hugged Frank when he walked over and Karen came to join all of you with Adi swinging from Frank's arm then it was Curtis' turn. He smiled at you then said "Y/N is one of the best people I've ever known. When I lost my leg she helped me a lot. She has served this city as a paramedic for over a decade. If you're lucky enough to be her friend you always have someone in your corner willing to fight for you" everyone awed then he said "and yet for some reason she's in love with Billy" and a laugh went through the crowd.
"C'mon Curt!" Billy hollered playfully. Curtis laughed then said "ok ok, on a real note. These two? They're fighters. They don't know the meaning of giving up on anyone they care about. They've loved each other for most of their adult lives and I'm proud to call them both my friends"
Everyone toasted then Alice took the microphone "last but not least" she smiled at you then turned her attention to Billy "The day I met Billy he came to the station house to take Y/N for a cup of coffee. He followed her around like a puppy. I knew that boy was whipped from day one. I got to watch them tip toe around each other and eventually get together. Like Frank said they've went through so much but even when I wanted to let my feelings get in the way as Y/N's friend the love between them was still so very plain to see. They found their way back together and now share a beautiful little girl. I'm sure everyone here joins me in congratulating them and wishing them many happy years"
Adi jumped into Billy's arms so he pulled you into them as well holding both of you as everyone cheered. He pressed his forehead against yours and whispered "I love you Y/N" you smiled "I love you too Billy"

HA Chapter 11: Creepy
--- Its about to get creepy also this is more from Viktor’s POV ---
Tumblr media
As soon as he stepped foot back into the hotel room he flipped the sign that rejected maid service and locked the door behind him. Odd enough part of him felt at ease, Kevins words seeping into him, he was right after all, if tehre were to be no repercussions then why nit have a little fun, that was his intention of coming over in the first place.
But as soon as he looked over at my limp body, a wave of shame washed over him and he felt panicky and hot. He moved toward the thermostat as though that was going to make everything more clearer as he lowered it. Honestly, this scenario crossed his mind once or twice but in a very different light. He pictured it more that he would wander into one of the parties I would be invited to and one of the ingrates I hung out with would have left me passed out on the floor or a couch somewhere and him acting like the knight in shining armor would nurse the hangover out of me and we would go back to being friends like once upon a time ago before Zayn or any of his friends tainted my opinions of him and before all my focus lay on Marcel.
He had to do this, how else was he going to compete with the other boys. He couldn’t go against Woo or even Yoongi one on one. No he had to approach this smart - like Namjoon or Kevin would. He had to learn and use what he learned against the others. yes, this was worth it. He turned back toward me, the wave of shame washing over him although it felt like it was less then before.
“Sorry love,” he said as his hand stroked my bare cheek “but I have to do this, for you- for us.” he sat next to me on the bed looking over the 1960′s style turtleneck tea dress I was wearing. Due to the sudden passing out it was a little disheveled and my hat and phone had both fallen on the floor. This reminded him to set an alarm for his own phone. Kevin said only three hours but he didn’t want to risk it. After two hed walk out that door and tuck me in maybe I would think I just took a nap for something. He reached over me and picked up the hat, smiling at the posh design and fixing it before placing it on the night table. He then picked up my phone pressing the ring button on, if Yoongi were to get suspicious where I was then he would need a warning. He placed the phone next to the hat and for a while just stared at me.
The steady rising and falling of my chest, the small gestures my face mad as I dreamed, he wondered what I was dreaming about and if the ‘love Potion’ even allowed dreams. He started to carefully run his fingers through my hair smiling at the purple tips that had almost faded out at the bottom. He liked my hair when it was curly and natural … was it Yoongi that preferred it straight? Is that why I haven’t had it curly for a few months? Or perhaps Negan? The true threat even Viktor couldn’t bring himself to share with the rest of his friends.
He had been suspicious of Negan ever since he came to sub for a month at the school two years ago. He had done ‘research’ about that on his own and while it wasn’t confirmed he knew the relationship with me and the older man was romantic possibly a sugar baby deal... how else would I be able to afford that ring that Yoongi had been wearing. He would never ask for such extravagant gifts when we’d get together. No instead he’d be showering me in gifts - his parents had money and with the promise of grandchildren they would be happy to give him his inheritance early.
As he played with my hair he thought of our future and the things I have wrote and said on the matter, like in my journal. Another wave of shame washed over him remembering when he found my journal while installing the long-range modifier with Kevin just a few weeks ago. Kevin had went into your room and he had gone into mine. Just looking around innocently and the journal had fallen from behind a book on the shelf. He didn’t mean to read it... no that was creepy and wrong. But its not like he was some creepy pervert like Ian or Mark... All he wanted to do was feel closer to me - plan our future so I wouldn’t have to whats so wrong about that? He read about a pheoneom in a science magazine about psychology. The more you mimic a person in certain things or the more you know about a person they will more easily become attached to you. And that was the whole point. So he can plan things out - something he knew freaked me out and it wouldn’t be weird. Yes it wasn’t weird it was smart.
He went back braiding my hair and began to talk about our future half wondering if like in a coma I could hear him, maybe my subconscious will link the ideas and make them stick in my head. It would be much easier that way. “I know you like New York, but that's no place to raise a family. We could get married there have the Gastby Wedding you always wanted. I know how much you want you dad to walk you down the isle but I know how much he doesn’t like me- so maybe we do something else. I would never take away your first dance with him but maybe down the isle is a bit much. He’d never give you up to me.” he laughed finishing one braid and beginning another. “And then we should move to England, I know, I know its always raining but you love the rain and plus our children will have my accent - not that yours isn’t charming - I love it, but imagine four little Malik kids speaking Japanese with british accents. How adorable. Yeah I want four kids, I know I know its ambitious but I am willing to adopt two if we have two of our own. We can even adopt them from Japan. Two boys and two little girls, I love the names Connor and Henry, I liked the name Jackson to but Wang really ruined that for me.” He finished another braid and moved to the next “For girls I know you love the name Marceline but Sara is so classic and beautiful. Okay how about you name one girl and a boy and ill name the other?” He laughed to himself looking down at my sleeping face. “You’re so beautiful Kay,” he let go of my hair, the third braid unfinished and leaned down towards my lips. he placed a chaste kiss on them a flush overcoming his body. He smiled with a new found confidence and went to do it yet again before spotting a deep purple mark on my neck. Due to the sudden onset of sleep that over came me my turtleneck dress that expertly hid the markings came down just a bit and now all the deep purple bruises Yoongi left on my neck were visible. Viktor felt a surge of anger hit him and he quickly turned away from me. He opted to distract himself with the buzzing of my phone. It was a group texted entitled ‘FUNHOUSE BIQTCHES!’ He grabbed my finger pressing it to the home button and unlocking my phone. He scrolled through the messages only half paying attention to them. Most of them just telling Adi to shut up and that she was being to loud and if she didn’t shut up GD was going to wake up.
It took him a few moments before he could look at me again. His eyes stayed glued to the marks and he leaned over me fixing my collar so it covered the marks “I know this isn’t your fault but you can’t let him do that to you.” He was getting angrier and angrier with each word. When he pulled the color up the dress went up slightly revealing the marks Yoongi had left on my thighs. “Disgusting” He remarked yanking the skirt down with such force that he heard a tear in the dress. His anger instantly turned to fear. The dress had a visible tear in it. How would that be explained? Sometimes hotel rooms left sewing kits incase. He dug through the empty drawers of the room and came up empty. “Look what yoongi made me do!” He shouted at me then rushed over fingering the tear. “This wouldn’t have happened if you picked me first. he marked your body like you are some common whore, Youre not - stop acting like one!” He shouted and sighed looking at the timer. He had only an hour left. He looked back at me and pressed his lips to mine again. “I’m sorry, you just make me loose sense sometimes.” He sighed laying next to me.
For the next half an hour he lay cuddled next to me speaking about whatever came to his kind, that was until an idea presented itself into his head. He used my finger to unlock my phone - it had a lot more texted then before not all from the group chat. He saw Negans name on it and had to resist going through that if he was going to have enough time to link our phones together. He saw a few texts from Yoongi and once again had to say no to temptation and set to work.
His alarm went off just as he was finished. Satisfied he pressed the small bird app on his phone. If anyone were to go threw his apps they’d find the one labeled Bird Watching and scroll past it thinking nothing of it. But as soon as he clicked on it. The screen changed to a copy of my screen, every app, every text, every picture - he could see. This was perfect. He took one last look at me and kissed my lips once again. “I love you.” He said before walking out the door and into the elevator.
----
Tumblr media
I woke up confused feeling like death. I knew I was in Hotel Dumont due to the patterns on the ceiling but it took a moment for me to remember why I was here. I was here with Yoongi “Oppa!” I called out and immediately felt like vomiting. Did we drink last night? No. I was sober.. yeah I had breakfast. Why did I feel like this? I sat up and quickly grabbed the trashcan by the bed vomiting whatever breakfast was in my stomach out. I groaned, my head pounding and looked around for Yoongi. “Oppa?”
He wasn’t here. I was alone in the room... wait thats right. He left to get Jungkook... then why was I still here? My attention was drawn toward my phone dinging next to my hat on the night stand. I put my hat on the night stand but woke up across the bed? Something was wrong. I grabbed at my phone seeing text after text of people asking where I was and missed calls. I stood up shaky and grabbed my purse and keys.
Tumblr media
I barely made it downstairs, my entire body felt like Jello and my stomach turned every time I took a step. A bellhop helped me to my car before another familiar face walked up to us a cocky grin on his face. “Yoongi treat you so well you can’t walk?” Damien smirked “Or where you just waiting for me to come home.”
“Fuck off” I mumbled and his eyes furrowed in concern. he grabbed me from the bellhop ordering him back to work while I leaned on him. “Bring me to my car?” He nodded walking me over but the closer I got the more I knew I couldn’t drive home in this condiotion and so did Damien. So we took a sharp turn towards his hulking black truck. “No I want my car.”
“Fuck off.” He mimicked and helped me into the passenger seat. He hopped in the drivers seat. “What Yoongi dumped you and you got drunk and waited for me? Next time shoot me a text and believe me I would have come over right away.”
“None of that happened.” I said taking his sunglasses from the dashboard and trying to steady my stomach. “Me and Yoongi had a wonderful night.”
“Yeah he tear your dress too?” He pointed as the rip in my dress as he started to drive. I looked down at it, that hadn’t been there this morning... had it?
“No, I don’t know what this is.” I huffed “I feel sick, D. I kept throwing up but I was fine this morning then I had your hotel food!”
“My hotel food is great!” He said defensively “What did you order?”
“Well they gave to to me for free-”
“Free? You brought Yoongi to my penthouse.”
“No dick brain we were on the second floor. Room 221.”
“And they gave you food for free?” he shook his head “Did you say my name?”
“No I tend not to think about you.”
“Then why the fuck would they give a nobody free food?”
“A nobody?!”
“Yeah! When your not with me in there your a fucking nobody.”
“Pull over the car im getting out!”
“Oh shut up im taking you home!”
“DONT TELL ME TO SHUT UP!”

As the fifth theme to my 100 themes challenge, I dedicate this one to @capthawkeye for dealing with my shenanigans whenever I think of our beloved OTP and I’m just really grateful for her presence in this community. Also, another friendly reminder that I will be eternally grateful for Adi               ( @rvkiakuchiki ), considering how she’s had the role of being my beta for the past year and a half!!!! God knows the amount of mistakes in all of my fics if I didn’t have her, tbh.
I hope you guys enjoy!

There was always something so exhilarating when it came to sneaking away from a crowd, laughing hand-in-hand with the person who always managed to make your heart skip a beat. And although it was a strange concept to apply to two full-grown adults, it was certainly nothing that they were shy of. With smiles that reached their eyes, their chests swelling with merriment, and hearts all but hidden from one another, a witness could have said that they were very well drunk on pure bliss.
The night was young and the pure essence of joy filled the air amongst the crowd. Drinks were served, the hired band played loudly, and words of congratulations and teasing remarks were endlessly thrown at the newly-wedded couple. It was, for a better part, an event to be forever remembered and reminisced. After all, when the notion of the marriage was announced months before, nobody who knew them was surprised.
Who would have been if they were to consider the past between the couple; the endless support that the woman had provided for the man throughout his journey?
It was a love story often expected from fairy tales, and yet everyone witnessed it grow for as long as they had known the former alchemist.
As laughter reached his ears, Edward Elric watched the guests with content from where he sat at the front. His golden eyes shifted from table to table, taking in the sight of those he called family with a small smile on his face. In that moment then, he had fallen into deep reverie, his thoughts quiet in his head. But at the sudden feel of warmth in his left hand, he was pulled out and his attention was immediately placed onto the wide, cerulean blues that had watched him so curiously.
“You okay there, Ed?” His wife asked, “Kind of zoned out for a bit.”
He replied with a grin, locking his fingers with hers as he admired the wedding band around a certain digit, “Yeah, just thinking.”
“Of?”
“Nothing in particular,” He answered truthfully, “Just thinking about how everything feels like a dream right now.” As his voice remained light-hearted alongside the smile that had seldom left, Winry came to an understanding and left it at that, all the while reflecting his expression.
It had been how they were since they stood before the officiant that late afternoon; just the two of them mirroring smiles and grins and the love in their eyes. The emotions were so raw that they were difficult to hide, but as it was their day (and every single day after that), Edward and Winry had no reason to do so.
They allowed all to see without a thought, and in return, they received cheers and comments about ‘lovebirds’ and ‘inspiring youth’.
Edward certainly showed quite a tint of red in the beginning; at least until it had hit him that Winry was his wife. The realisation was not exactly overwhelming, but it was still a realisation that caused him to feel a form of giddiness he had never felt before. It reached to the extent of him hugging her from behind whenever he could, and lifting her off the ground just to hear her squeals and the laughter that followed after.
It was strange to think of how he once denied his feelings when they were brought out to light, especially now that he was more than happy to show them off. Though he was young at the time, and his focus was really elsewhere. Besides, a certain question from the then-lieutenant came out unexpectedly and he hadn’t even given his friendship with his best friend much of a thought.
But now, at the age of eighteen, Edward Elric was quite the married man who could not have asked for anything better than the woman whose hand he held.
At the thought of the former lieutenant, however. . .
“Hey, Winry,” He started, turning his head back to the life of the party, “Have you seen the Captain?”
“You mean Miss Riza?” With the question, Winry followed his searching gaze.
“Yeah.”
“I saw her couple of minutes ago with the General, but I don’t see them now.” The new bride settled herself back into the backrest of her seat, confusion evident in the way she looked at her husband.
“With Mustang, huh?”
“I swear, sir, if you’re planning on doing something stupid---”
“Okay, first of all, it’s Roy tonight, Riza. We already talked about this; we’re off-duty, attending the wedding of a former comrade. There are no uniforms, no ranks,” Making his way up the hill as he tugged on the other’s hand, Roy flashed a charming grin, “Just us two: Roy and Riza. Like the old times!”
All the comment earned him was a roll of her eyes.
“And second of all, I promise it isn’t anything ‘stupid’,” Roy continued, “Have a little faith in me, Hawkeye.”
Soon enough, they were atop of the mound with a rather breathtaking view before them.
There were the lights at the far bottom of the hill, a crowd of people beneath. The two were not far off from the reception, just isolated enough to not catch anyone’s attention unless they were to look towards their direction. And with the full moon that had glowed brightly behind the translucent clouds of the night, nearly as bright as Winry’s face did during the ceremony, it was far from difficult for them to see each other.
They remained in the silence for the moment’s while, basking in the form of solitude found. But as time came to pass with the spring breeze blowing lightly, Riza stepped closer to the man and leaned into him.
In turn, he merely relaxed an arm around her shoulders and gladly shared his warmth.
They watched as tiny figures danced and conversed, and even chuckled at the sight of (who they presumed was) Havoc tripping on his way to the dance floor. Everything was peaceful, something they both wished to prolong. After all that had happened two years prior, the serenity was welcomed wholeheartedly; not a single doubt within their minds.
“It really takes you back, doesn’t it?” In a whisper, Roy spoke through the silence as he kept his attention to the landscape. He felt her nod against his shoulder, and it was enough to have him smiling as he walked through memory lane. “Reminds me of the time when we would sneak out to the hills behind your house.”
Riza chuckled, “You always were a bad influence.” She told him, freely at that, too.
With a dramatic gasp, Roy shifted his gaze onto her and raised his eyebrows in added effect, “Me? You were the one always dragging me out.”
“And who was the one who suggested the idea in the first place?” Riza looked up at him, amusement clearly written all over her features.
Then in comprehension that the rebellious act may have started with him, Roy took a pause as he suddenly felt quite sheepish.
“Exactly.” Was the response he heard due to his lack of a reply.
“Doesn’t change the fact that you had fun.” He muttered straight after.
Although in remembrance of the innocence that they both lived during what felt like a lifetime ago, Roy noted the music that reached them from below. He breathed in deeply, a thumb caressing the exposed skin of her shoulder as he recalled the nights far off from the past.
What they had done on those hills varied; from observing stars to simply talking, enjoying the company of one another. They were young and naïve, not a single line crossed in character of shyness and reticence. As much as others faithfully believed that the man was quite the charmer back then, Riza had known better.
In fact, their first kiss was something uneventful: just his chapped lips against hers under the lamppost.
He almost laughed at the sudden memory, mentally slapping himself for being so clumsy in the way he had handled it. But even so, the girl never brought it up afterwards, saving him from the embarrassment that he stupidly caused as a seventeen-year-old.
Pushing that thought aside, Roy moved back and away from Riza, who had simply graced him with a lost impression. Tendrils of blonde fell from her fascinating up-do, swept back by the zephyr that came by. His own slicked-back hair was ruffled in the process, once again revealing the unruliness of it all. But nevertheless, he gave her a boyish smile, a glint in his gaze as he held out his hand in an invitation for a dance.
“Really?” Riza asked.
“Really.” Roy answered.
All he received at first was a stare, consideration obviously running through her mind. He saw the hesitancy, the question as to whether it would have been right and proper of them. But Roy was Roy, and although he would have receded if it were any other occasion, he kept his stance and waited patiently.
Then after the release of a sigh, Riza slipped out of the heels she wore and allowed herself to relish the feel of the earth beneath her feet.
The man could barely hide the grin that broke out, caused by the excitement sent through his nerves. And just as the other took his hand into hers, he promptly pulled her close and revelled in the sound of her laughter as she nearly clashed into his chest, only to be steadied by his hold on the curves of her figure. He saw the wide smile that she was intent on keeping hidden from him; the kind that reached the corners of her eyes and showed her pearly whites, all the while deepening her smile lines. It was the kind that had left him in awe countless of times, his train of thought coming to an abrupt stop as all he could think of was how gorgeous she truly was.
How exquisite she effortlessly made herself to be.
Following the slow rhythm that played in the distance, Roy began to sway them from side to side. His hands were circled around her waist, and her arms had chosen to rest over his shoulders. There was a state of ease in the way she danced with him, her gaze never once leaving his. They lingered within the placidity; not a word spoken as they simply drowned themselves in the sound of music, and in the presence of each other. The quintessence of adoration enveloped them into unity.
With her between his arms, barefoot on the grass, perfection could not have made itself known any better. His heart swelled immensely, committing the moment to his memory alongside their secrets together.
He regarded her warmth through the fabric of her dress, all in contrast to the cold air of spring. There was the way her mouth curved upwards into that subtle smile of hers, the amber hues of her eyes reflecting the moon’s light as she sought for his tranquil thoughts.
It was how they were for who knew how long; just the two of them in their own world. It was as if they were living a chapter heard in fairy tales.
“So... Elric’s married.” Roy started as casually as he could, an act that they were just having another everyday conversation.
Riza then lifted a brow in wonder, but nodded nonetheless and said, “That he is.”
“He married his mechanic, who’s also a childhood friend of his.”
Riza nodded again.
“Someone who supported him and his brother until they reached their goal.”
As the woman eased her expression and softened her gaze, Roy watched her come to an understanding. He didn’t react, however, in conveyance that everything was an aspect of simplicity. But he knew that she comprehended what he was trying to say--- whatever it was--- and that he was waiting for her to play along with this game that he had set out.
Strangely enough, he hadn’t exactly known what it was himself, despite being the instigator of it all.
“Well, when you put it that way,” Riza said, “It does sound like their story came out of a romance novel.”
Roy laughed inwardly at the response, “Of course you would know that, considering the amount of times I’ve caught you reading those kinds of books,” Then dropping his voice to nothing more than a whisper, Roy continued with a teasing remark, “Tell me, Lieutenant, how often does a knight in shining armour swoop in to save a damsel-in-distress from the big, bad dragon?”
Without having to wait for a beat, Riza replied, “Not that often, actually. Truth be told, I’m not big on the romance/fantasy genre, so you’re just making assumptions at this point, sir.”
“Am I?”
“You are. You should know well by now that I’m not one for fairy tales.”
“I thought you of all people loved those kinds of stories,” Roy paused as he attempted to create a summary of the fantasies that he had heard numerous times before, “A courageous man taking up the stead to save a woman he loves, who then returns his feelings after his brave act, and they live happily ever after.”
“Yes, but they make it sound so easy when it’s really not--- like true love’s kiss. What, do they expect me to believe that every curse could be fixed with a single kiss, especially from a person whom they barely know?”
Sighing as he listened, Roy rested his forehead against Riza’s and closed his eyes, feeling the brush of her breath across his skin. “I suppose you’re right,” He said, “Fairy tales are entirely too fictional and fabricated for the dreams of children. It’s a wonder as to why you never believed in them.”
There was heavy silence afterwards.
“I never got the chance to.” He then heard her say.
Bearing the sudden seriousness in her character, Roy felt guilt creep into the corners of his mind and winced within as they stopped dancing. Once again, he spoke without thinking and even if she did not take it to heart, it was still an unnecessary comment. He gave himself the second mental slap of the night, cursing his stupid mouth as he always did whenever he knew that he had said something carelessly.
He moved back slightly, just enough to see the woman’s unreadable guise, and was just about to apologise when he felt her left-hand cup his face. She caressed his cheekbone with the pad of her thumb, leaving an invisible track that was nought but felt altogether. He found himself leaning into her touch, the apology in his eyes rather than said.
“If anything,” Riza began, “I almost believed in those stories when you came around.”
That took him by surprise.
“Oh?”
Riza merely shrugged, “You made things little more bearable.”
“So… are you implying that I’m your prince charming?”
The woman chortled at that, lightening the weight Roy had in his chest moments ago, “Being my prince charming suggests that we have a love story.”
Roy gave her a deadpan stare, “We don’t have a love story?”
“Do we have a love story?” Riza returned.
At that, Roy grimaced and clutched the space as to where his heart would have been. “Ouch. Are you really planning on wounding my poor heart throughout the night?”
Mirth danced along his partner’s features, her most beloved smile making an appearance as if it were a gift. “I don’t know, haven’t decided yet, actually.”
Seeing as to how the flower bloomed, Roy stepped back into quietude, obviously admiring the beauty that his gaze beheld. He then took the hand against his cheek and brought her knuckles to his lips, before placing another kiss on her ring finger; lingering there for a while as the two simply looked at each other.
Nothing was said out loud, although so much was heard.
He may have been no prince charming or her knight in shining armour, and she was no damsel-in-distress for him to save. Their lives were far from being a fable of love and happiness, but if Roy Mustang was certain of one thing, it was that they were bound to reach their happy ending--- no matter how long it would have taken them to get there.
For now, he had her and that was enough for him to keep going. Everyone knew that he was willing to do so much more than to protect her from the beast, just as how she continued to do so day-by-day. Everything he had to offer was already given, and everything he received from her was kept wholeheartedly. There was nothing between them that required words of explanation.
So, screw the fantasies and fairy tales.
What was the point of being a prince and a damsel-in-distress, when he was the king and she was his queen?

brother and sister in law bonding time
oh wait. society has fallen and there can never be an aisliar wedding
~
Marin also ends up alone.
But he and Adi end up finding each other while Adi is trying to find Ash.
And from there they look for Adairs town.
Not having any leads for finding Ferret.
And they don't make each other stop to tend to wounds and injuries, not until nightfall when they have to camp anyways and there's time enough for Adelin to downplay the worst of her own.
~
Ferret and Serena make it out together.
Serena clutched to his back so she's out of the way while he fights them to safety.
It's faster that way.
Safer for her.
And he has less to worry about.
And she bights (I know that's wrong but brain can't brain and decide how it's spelled so) back on her fear from being off the ground with gritted teeth and not a complaint. her grasp tightening on Ferrets coat.
And he fights through the hoard. And they make it to relative safety.
A place to lay low until morning before searching for the others.
And Rena wonders if maybe they're gone. Dead. But she keeps that to herself.
But they look for them.
And they find traces. Not enough to identify. Not enough to give them a trail to follow.
But enough to give hope.
And at night Rena makes Ferret sleep. At least for a little while. Promises that she'll stay up and wake him if anything happens.
And their problems are few. They find food. Water. Enough to keep them going.
And they keep looking.
And they get attacked. Ferret pinned on the ground. Struggling to keep himself from getting bitten. And to get his weapon.
And Rena saves him. Stabs or shoots it.
Standing there kinda frozen in place once it's dead.
rena saves her dad but. I'm gonna make you wait for it
ash. adi. ferret. rena. marin. and now adair.
little camp set up. they were moving from place to place. not staying for too long anywhere. looking for supplies. hunting.
but then they come across adair and. ferret and adi don't like it. but ash won't let them leave him and. he can't travel real well.
so they bring him back and ash does what she can to help him. a mixture of basic first aid from the supplies she has and local herbal remedies from what she can scavenge nearby.
and he's almost ready. almost well enough to be on his way and get back to his brothers.
adi: thank God.
the camp gets overrun.
it's late in the night
marin on watch is able to provide enough warning to get everyone awake. to get weapons grabbed and ready.
it's chaos.
a fight of life and death.
shouts from the living and moans from the dead and the small fire they'd had for warmth and light not enough.
and they all get separated. they all lose each other in the dark.
aislin ends up supporting her patient under his arm. and they fight together
she briefly remembers adelin shouting for her to leave him before her voice got buried in the mayhem
and aislin and adair get away. and they find a place to lay down and lay low and wait for morning light
they'll regroup
adelin and marin are trackers.
they'll find them
they have to..
they dont
and aislin waits and scouts around for as long as she thinks is wise. but she can't stray too far from adair.
she won't leave him
and she accepts that she can't wait around and look for them any longer. not if she wants to keep them both alive.
and adair can travel now. if they take it slow.
and at least he knows where his family is.
she can reunite them at least.
and so she returns to where she left him. holed away with a weapon and as safe as they could find
and he asks if she's okay
and she says she's fine
and its a lie

Chapter twenty-eight
Marco ended up missing two matches because of his injury and we both went to the stadium to watch them together. It had been a lot of time since I had gone to Signal Iduna Park and I didn’t realize what I had been missing till I went back. He had overcome his injury now and he had already played two games, both of them won. Matts felt personally responsible for me and Marco making up and wouldn't shut up about it so he decided we should do a “double date”.
I was getting ready for dinner at Marco’s house since we were going out with his friends Mario and André, I haven’t really been with them so much so I was excited to be with them. I was wearing a dark-red strapless dress with a body hugging figure and a deep neckline, which wouldn’t have been my first choice but Cathy had insisted that I would look good in it. To be honest, I really like it, even though I felt a little conscious in it. I had curled my head slightly at the bottom and I was wearing a pair of black high-heels, I also had a black jacket laying on top of my bed, waiting for us to go.
“Wow” Marco said as he entered the door “Don’t you want us to leave the house tonight?” he asked wrapping his arms around my waist and pressing a kiss to my shoulder.
He was wearing a white shirt and black trousers, looking like some kind of rich playboy for some movie. It might sound strange but I loved that look, he looked so good.
“I still don’t know if I’m going to wear it” I said looking at my reflection on the mirror.
I was having second-thoughts because Cathy had told me both of Mario and André’s girlfriends could be a little judgmental and superficial and it might have been silly but I wanted to fit it, I was dressing for impress because both of them were one of Marco’s closest friends in the football world and I didn’t want to make things awkward.
“Why?” he asked.
“Isn’t it too revealing?” I asked.
“I think it’s perfect” Marco said “You look great. You should totally wear it”
The restaurant was definitely expensive but not old-fashioned, I followed Marco in between the tables, he stopped at a few tables to take a few pictures and then we met Mario and André, there were two girls with them. They were Ann-Kathrin and Montana, Marco had told me who they were but I didn’t know who was who.
“Adi!” Mario said happily giving me a hug. “How are you?”
“Good. What about you?”
“Great. Have you met Ann-Kathrin before?” he said reaching for the blond super tall girl.
“Baby, she’s Marco’s girl. Do you remember I talked you about her?”
“Yeah, of course” she said “Nice to meet you sweetheart, I’m Ann”
Ann-Kathrin was a stunning blonde girl, wearing a figure-hugging pale pink outfit paring a high-wasted skirt and a sleeveless crop-top and a pair of silver high-heeled sandals matching with her jewerly. Her hair was slightly curled at the ends and she was wearing a lot of make-up but not in a tacky way. She looked like some kind of super star, which made me feel a little bit intimidated.
“Adela, nice to meet you too” I said taking her hand and smiling.
“Oh, right Mario told me you were from Spain, right? I’ve been there on Summer”
“Galicia, yes” I said “Where have you been?”
“In Ibiza” she said “Maybe we can see each other this Summer”
“I don’t think so” I said laughing “I’ve never been there”
“Oh that’s a shame” she said “It’s really beautiful there. Anyway, how well is your English?” she asked “Montana doesn’t know how to speak German”
“Oh, it’s fine. Don’t worry”
“Liebe, come meet André” Marco said turning me around.
“Hi” André said to me, he was taller than I expected “I’m André, nice to meet you”
“Nice to meet you too”
I was introduced to Montana as well and we all sat together at our table. She seemed a little bit less friendly that Ann-Kathrin but that could be because she was shyer. However she seemed more approachable at first sight because – even though it might be silly – she didn’t look like a super model, she was shorter and a little bit chubbier than Ann-Kathrin but she was beautiful anyway, she looked like a normal girl, which was refreshing in this world. She was wearing a bodt-hugging dress that went down to her knees with spaghetti straps.
We had a nice dinner and both girls were very kind to me, even though it was obvious they got along very well. Marco and the boys were talking about football, I didn’t know how they didn’t get tired of it to be honest, I was a huge fan of football myself but that was too much for me.
Montana ended up opening up to me as well as Ann-Kathrin and she told me she was from London and that she missed her home terrible and I could relate to it. She and Ann-Kathrin also told me about Montana’s wedding to André. Apparently Ann-Kathrin was going to be one of Montana’s bridesmaids and she was helping her with it since the brown-haired girl didn’t knew hot to speak German. Both of them were very excited, and it was funny to see Ann so excited for a wedding that wasn’t even hers but it showed how deeply they care for each other and it was nice to see them forge such a great friendship in such little time.
While we were having dinner a few people came over to our table and asked the boys for photos or autographs, specially Marco since we were in Dortmund. I hide away at those times unlike both of the girls, who just looked really pleased with all the attention. I guessed that was what happened where you spend a lot of time next to a professional athlete, you grew accustomed to people coming out at you two and interrupt your conversations just to get a picture, but that was something I really wasn’t used to.
My phone rang the next morning too early for my liking. My head was pounding so bad as I had just slept three hours, we had headed to a club after our dinner and we had spent the night at a reserved VIP area, which wasn’t necessarily my thing but I had enjoyed it very much.
I heard Marco groan beside me and I picked up the phone trying not to wake him up but I couldn't make it since while I was answering my phone I saw him open his eyes and frow.
“Hey” I heard Cathy’s voice on the other line “How was dinner yesterday?”
“Hey” I said in a croaked voice while I was leaving the bedroom “It was fine, I had fun to be honest”
“Really?” she asked “I’m glad”
“Are you still in Munich?” I asked.
She has gone away for a couple of days because she and Matts had just brought their home at Munich and she wanted to go and see how it would be furnished and think about ways to organize the space and their things into the new house.
“Yeah” she said “I wish you were here though. I can’t picture how to get my furniture in here”
“I would be delighted to do so” I said while making myself a tea.
“I’m really going to miss you next year” she said.
“Oh me too”
“Would you really want to come, though?”
“To help you?” I asked
“Yeah”
“Of course” I said sitting on the sofa with my cup of tea.
“Then, if you want” she said “You could come next week. I have a fashion event here in Munich and I thought you would like to come since you’re studying fashion”
“An event?”
“Yeah, it’s a fashion show and we’ll have to walk through a red carpet but that’s all. But that’s one of the most famous designers here in Germany and if you want I could introduced you to her”
“But, can I just tag along?” I asked
“Yeah, she said she would be thrilled to have you there as well when I asked”
“You had asked her already?”
“I didn’t think it would take up that much convincing” she said “Why don’t you want to go?”
“It’s just not my type of thing Cathy, to get in front of cameras and all of that”
“Oh, don’t worry about that” she said “It’ll be real quick”
“I know but I’m just not comfortable with that”
“I really want you to come, we could also go sightseeing. Have you ever been in Munich?”
“No, I haven’t”
“Oh, that’s unacceptable” she said “You’re coming for sure now. If you don’t want to go to the show that’s alright but you’re coming sightseeing for sure”
“Okay” I said laughing “I’ll think about the show ok” I said as I heard Marco enter the kitchen.
“Great!” she said “I’ll promise you you won’t regret it”
“Bye Cathy” I said
“Bye Adi”
I hunged up the phone and I picked up my cup of tea as I made my way into the kitchen, where Marco was making breakfast.
“Morning” I said “Do you have practice today or can we relax all day?”
“Morning” he said giving me a peck as I took a seat on the kitchen island “I have practice”
“That’s too bad” I said “I was already planning a perfect lazy evening. I guess I’ll study instead”
“Sorry” he said handing me a plate of toast and a glass of orange juice “What show were you talking about with Cathy”
“A fashion show in Munich she wants me to attend with her” I said shrugging my shoulder.
“Are you not going?” he asked “I though you liked that things”
“I like idea of going to the show” I said “Just not the attention – or the red carpet”
“You can’t miss things out because there gonna be people watching, liebe” he said.
“I know” I said “But you know how Cathy is with that sort of things, I mean, I love her but she loves stealing the show”
“Yeah, she loves it” Marco said “But  she won’t be doing that if you’ll be there” he said
“What’s make you so sure about it?” I asked
“Beccause every one would be looking at you, no offense to her” Marco said
“You’re not helping me at all, you know that?”
“I just think you should go because that’s what you want to do in the future, don’t you?” Marco said “I few contacts wouldn’t be bad. And I know you don’t like attention on yourself but that’s what you get for dating me, a little bit of attention goes to you as well, I wish a could change it but I can’t.”
“OK” I said “Let’s find a ticket”

16 Must-Read Books for Summer
Summer has arrived, and with it (hopefully) long stretches of time that can be filled perfectly with a good book. Here are some the best books to read this summer. Throw in your tote or carry-on this season and enjoy!
16 Must-Read Books for Summer
Cozy up in the sun with your new favorite read.
TOTALLY BEACHY
Maybe you’re looking for the perfect book to toss in your beach bag as you prepare to spend the day luxuriating in the sun (with proper sunscreen, of course!). Or maybe you can’t quite make the time in your busy summer schedule to escape for a beachy getaway, and you just want to feel like you have the sand between your toes and the rush of the ocean in your ears. These reads will do the trick!
1. The Light in Summer by Mary McNear: Find yourself transported to the idyllic world of Butternut Lake, a summery retreat where main character Billy Harper feels most like herself. Follow Billy’s journey on Butternut Lake for one fateful season, during which she comes to terms with the past, faces changes in her relationships, and realizes that happy doesn’t always have to mean perfection. So relatable, right?
2. The Summer Cottage by Viola Shipman: Adie Lou Kruger returns to her family’s home on Lake Michigan after navigating a devastating divorce and totally beats the odds when she decides to turn their old cottage into an inn instead of selling it. There’s a cast of eclectic and lovable characters and plenty of empowering moments.
3. Summer of ’69 by Elin Hilderbrand: Bestselling author Elin Hidlerbrand is basically the queen of all things beach reading, and she’s done it again with her latest novel. The cover alone will make you want to put on your bathing suit and go for a swim, and the story it tells of a family experiencing the sixties will keep you busy for many summer hours.
4. The Friends We Keep by Jane Green: Jane Green’s new release explores what happens when four best friends reunite after thirty years — on a vacation! It touches on themes of love, forgiveness, disappointment, and more. All the feels!
FAB + FUN FICTION
There’s nothing like some good fiction — a little romance, a little humor, a good story, you know the drill. No matter where your summer takes you, these fun titles will be the perfect companion.
5. Mrs. Everything by Jennifer Weiner: Prepare to see this book everywhere this summer, no matter where you find yourself! (It’s a good thing the cover is so pretty.) Mrs. Everything follows two sisters as they seek very different dreams in difficult circumstances. There’s bound to be something for everyone in this one!
6. The Wedding Date by Jasmine Guillory: If the word “wedding” is in the title, you already know this is going to be a fun one. 11. Into the Water by Paula Hawkins: After a few women are found dead at the bottom of a local river, you know that there are secrets just waiting to come out. And since Paula Hawkins is the well-known author of The Girl on the Train, there isn’t anyone better to share just how it all goes down.
12. No Exit by Taylor Adams: This book packs a serious punch, with everything from kidnappings to blizzards to psychopaths. Bring this one to the beach and I guarantee that you’ll look up to find the sun setting in what feels like the blink of an eye.

Consider adding at least one non-fiction book to your reading list this summer. I promise that you’ll be excited about what you can learn.
13. American Girls by Nancy Jo Sales: We all spend a lot of time talking about social media and the effect that its had on us, especially the kids and teens in our lives. 14. Bad Blood by John Carreyrou: A book about the rise and fall of a multibillion-dollar tech startup may not sound like your typical beach read, but you might be surprised! This true story is so wild that you may find yourself assuming that it’s fiction as you fly through the story. People are going to be talking about this one everywhere — don’t miss out!
15. Text Me When You Get Home by Kayleen Schaefer: A fun and fascinating take on non-fiction, Text Me When You Get Home will teach you everything you never knew you wanted to know about the history and importance of female friendships. You’ll discover how our friendships have changed over time, how they’re influenced by pop culture, and so much more.

Part 19 of Luke and Vader Save the Galaxy by Time Travel.
This has taken on a life of its own. How am I ever going to reach an end here?  I don’t even know where most of this came from.
Send help.
–Reports of Tatooine’s liberation and uprising are slow to spread to the mainstream media, though the holomedia boards and sites are full of stories and holosnaps being shared around by clones and other young sentients.  When news reaches Obi-Wan on Mandalore he groans because he knows, he just knows that Anakin is there. The very second he felt safe enough to leave Anakin, leave Naboo, his former Padawan decides to go haring off across the galaxy. Before Obi-Wan would have just let it go, but now he knows better.  He worries; Anakin is not invincible nor all powerful. He is battered, and worn, and he is tired, though he is still standing. Going back to his home planet, going back into danger so soon after everything may be too much for Anakin to bear. If it wasn’t for the knowledge that Captain Rex and the others have his back and that Luke is with them, Obi-Wan would already be on the first ship heading towards the Outer Rim. The Force tells him that he can wait and trust, that the clones will not leave Anakin alone and that Luke who has already done so much for Anakin and his family, will do his utmost to protect him.
Of course when Satine tells him that she will be hosting a diplomatic entourage from the Separatist Alliance as part of the signing of the Reconstruction Accords and that his presence at the event has been requested, he seriously thinks about ignoring the Force’s direction and heading for Tatooine anyway.
When he sees who is leading the entourage he literally lets go of Satine’s arm and nearly bolts out of a window. The Duchess tries to grab him, but it is Quinlan Vos yelling Obi-Wan’s name that has him freezing guiltily, a few steps from freedom.
“Oh, let him run Quinlan,” Ventress practically purrs from beside Knight Vos. “I’ve missed the sight of Jedi running in fear since the war has stopped.”
Obi-Wan’s shoulders tighten and he whirls around. “As I recall, it was you who turns tail and run at the first hint of trouble.”
“Really? That’s not what I recall.”
“Then I suggest you seek medical attention for your spotty memory, my darling,” he snaps back at her.
“My darling?” Satine and Quinlan echo together. Obi-Wan flushes, kicking himself for forgetting he had an audience of someone other than Anakin. Quinlan looks ready to burst out laughing, his eyes dancing with the possibility of years of teasing. Satine looks unimpressed, her eyes flashing under her arched brows.
“Come, come,” Ventress says with a laugh. “You must allow the great Negotiator his little games.” She takes Quinlan’s arm. “You know him well, Quinlan. He only ever flirts with those he attacks. He saves his venom and his arguing for those he loves. Haven’t you seen the way he is with Skywalker?”
Quinlan is now snickering. “Does that mean you love me too, Obi-Wan?”
“Now look here, Anakin was my Padawan and he is happily–“ he bites his tongue before he says more, but it looks like it is too late. He runs a quick hand over his beard. Anakin is going to kill him!
“Happily, what?” Satine says, moving forward, having caught Obi-Wan’s slip. “Happily . . .  married? A Jedi married?”
He wants to say no, of course not. Jedi don’t get married. Jedi are forbidden from marriage. Marriage is attachment. Attachment is forbidden. But, he sees hope in her eyes, burning like a candle and cannot bring himself to snuff it out.
But is it his secret to tell? He thinks of Anakin and Padme together, his former Padawan so lovesick Obi-Wan was frequently embarrassed on his behalf though Padme finds Anakin’s devotion adorable. He thinks about the fact that while he and the Order didn’t realize that Anakin was more than just visibly partial to Padme (and given how obvious it was it is a miracle the Sith Master hadn’t wiped out the Order years ago for their obliviousness!), most of the 501st and the 212th knew. When they had left Coruscant on the Dauntless, the clones traveling with them didn’t blink an eye at the Senator or the children staying in Anakin’s quarters and instead offered their congratulations.  Palpatine sending assassins after Padme and the babies meant he knew.  He looks over at Ventress who is smirking and very “overly familiar” with Knight Vos. She already knows. She is watching him like a hawk to see if he hides behind the Code, ready to tear into him like a coward if he does. Satine and Padme were close friends. Anakin had told him that he was done hiding and done pretending or being ashamed of his family.
But still he did owe his brother some discretion.
He clears his throat and says, “I can neither confirm nor deny that any Jedi of the Order is happily married at the present and celebrating the birth of their twin children.”
Satine’s connects the dots and her face lights up with joy. “Twins!” she exclaims. “Oh, Padme!” She scowls suddenly and punches Obi-Wan in the arm. “I need to send congratulations and a gift, and a belated wedding present. There are traditions! Why didn’t you tell me?”
Obi-Wan rubs his shoulder, ignoring the laughter from Vos and Ventress. “For a pacifistic you are so prone to violence, Duchess. And I haven’t told you anything about anyone. I admit to nothing.”
Quinlan shakes his head. “Damn, I don’t know how straight laced High Councilor Kenobi managed to train a Jedi like Skywalker, but I think Master Jinn would be proud.”
Ventress rolls her eyes. “All of you goodie goodies are blind. The two of them may as well have taken out a sign and broadcast their marriage all over the holonet. Even some of the the battle droids figured it out and they have the processing capacity of a multi-tool. If it wasn’t for Luke and Vader who had more sense than all your Order put together, Sidious would have steamrolled over all of you and you would only have had yourself to blame for not seeing it coming.”
“Come on,” Quinlan says to her, tugging her towards the banquet hall doors. “I’m starving. Let’s leave them alone and hope the Duchess can get Obi-Wan to loosen up some more.”
Neither the Duchess nor the Jedi notice them leaving.
Satine reaches up to place her hand on Obi-Wan’s. “So a Jedi can get married and have children with a Senator and be happy,” she says quietly. “It is possible.”
“Yes,” he says hoarsely. “It is.”
–When Ahsoka gives her report to the Jedi High Council (via holoprojector) about the Tatooine liberation campaign, she speaks with confidence about their actions, unflinching and sure in the face of the wrongs that they have righted. There is some debate about whether Luke had any right to invade Tatooine in the first place. Ahsoka calmly reminds the Council that if Tatooine counts as Republic space that is news to her and to the rest of the galaxy.  The Republic and the Jedi Order hardly cared when it was the Hutts killing, brutalizing and enslaving sentients, why should the Republic or the Jedi Order now protest that someone was stopping them? Either the planet belonged to the Republic and the Republic could hardly invade its own planet to enforce the law or the planet was outside of the Republic’s jurisdiction so the Order didn’t really have any say in what happened there in the first place, Ahsoka logically points out.
“Be that as it may, Republic forces were utilized. The Republic has a treaty with the Hutts as part of the war effort,” Ki-Adi Mundi reminds her.  “This could start a war with the Hutts.”
“The war is over,” Ahsoka says in response. “The treaty with the Hutts expired the moment the war ended. This was not an invasion. There were no GAR forces on Tatooine. Everyone who went volunteered and gave of their own time and chose to visit the planet. It’s a free galaxy after all, unless you are saying that the clones don’t have the right to free time and to travel where they wish, Master?” she asks sweetly.
“No one is saying that. The clones have the same rights as anyone. But, you were there, Ahsoka as was your master. You represent the Jedi,” Master Plo says.
“It is in the purview of Jedi to take action in the face of violations of sentient rights throughout the galaxy. From a young age we are all taught that the Jedi Order is to uphold the law and that includes the law against slavery, against torture, against murder and theft,” Ahsoka argues with growing passion. “Master Skywalker and I had every right to be on that planet and a duty to aid the local people in winning their freedom from slavers and the Hutts.”
“And where is your Master?” Mace asks. “Why has he not come before this Council to explain himself?  Palpatine is dead at the hands of a rogue Jedi and a armored Sith Lord. Where was the Chosen One in all of this? Where has he been? His long time connection to the Supreme Chancellor was well known. Why wasn’t he there or at the Temple during the attack? You were instructed to bring him back to Coruscant  for questioning, not go on unsanctioned military campaigns in the Other Rim.”
Master Yoda raises a hand, as if warning the Councilors to speak more softly. The gardens are full of other Jedi and clones and sound carries.
Ahsoka’s eyes narrow and she folds her arms across her chest. “Questioning? Is this Council accusing my Master of wrongdoing simply because he was in communication with Palpatine? Weren’t all of you also in constant communication with the Sith Master? Didn’t you all meet with him privately, take orders from him, pass on intelligence to him, help save his life in a war he orchestrated from start to finish? Why then is it only my Master who must be questioned? Why is he somehow the only one responsible for everything? What about all of you? Why aren’t you questioning yourselves?”
“Padawan, you will control yourself!” Mace said sharply. “He has claimed to be the Chosen One–“
“No, he hasn’t!” Heads turn as one to look at Obi-Wan Kenobi’s icy expression lit in holographic blue.  “The only people who have ever claimed that Anakin Skywalker is the Chosen One are the High Council and my own Master Qui-Gon. Not once has Anakin claimed to be the Chosen One. He has never taken on such a title. He has avoided it like the plague. It is each of us who have raised and debated that claim, who have demanded he measure up to a prophecy that I, to this day, have never even seen nor read. It is each of us who have censured him when he fell short of whatever imaginary and arbitrary expectation we set against him.”
“Master Kenobi–“ Master Yoda interjects but Obi-Wan does not back down, he stands instead. Beyond the trees and the little corner of the gardens the Council has claimed as its own, a crowd is gathering.
“No. Enough. I will not be silent any longer. I will not bite my tongue and bow my head to the will of this Council when it is wrong. I will not allow you to censure Anakin for not being some promised messiah or some paragon of virtue. I am sick of this and if I had been a better Knight and a better Master I would have stopped this years ago. Anakin Skywalker is a Knight and Master of this Order and entitled to all respect and rights thereto. Sheev Palpatine was a Sith Master and we were blind to it. We let him into the Temple and around our students. We took orders from him and never once stopped to question anything until it was nearly too late. Padawan Tano is right.  Instead of focusing on Anakin and his imagined failings, we should be looking at ourselves and trying to figure out just when this Council grew more interested in enforcing its own will over the Will of the Force!”
–When Obi-Wan finally realized who Vader and Luke were, he knew he had to tell his former Padawan. They had long since decided that there were no more secrets between them, no more lies. Obi-Wan just had no idea how he was going to tell him. Words failed him. He blathered on for a bit and Anakin just stared at him in silence, arms crossed, until Obi-Wan gave up and blurted everything out: “Your son Luke is the same person as Vader’s son.”
“I know,” Anakin said calmly.
Obi-Wan collapsed back into the couch behind him. “You do?”
“Yes, it’s obvious.” Anakin sounded just like his seven year old son when he said it like that, complete with eye rolls “Wait, you didn’t know?”
“How was I to know something like that? Time travel is utterly unfeasible from a scientific perspective,” Obi-Wan demanded.
Anakin eyed him incredulously. “They have the exact same name,” he said slowly as if Obi-Wan is being deliberately dumb. “They look exactly alike. He grew up on Tatooine,” Anakin defended. “It was obviously the Force.”
“The Force doesn’t work that way!”
Anakin snorted, “Tell that to the Force!”
Obi-Wan opened his mouth and then closed it, realizing that to keep arguing was absurd. He ran a hand over his beard. “Luke, young Luke, I mean, he thinks he’s the grown up Luke’s clone. You may want to talk to him about that.”
Anakin laughed. “Well, it’s as good an excuse as any.”
“He also thinks Leia is Padme’s clone. Really, Anakin, I don’t know where he gets these ideas but a conversation may be in order.”
“Three months ago Luke believed that Artoo and Threepio were his godparents and that somehow meant that both he and Leia were part droid.  This,” he said wiggling his prosthetic right hand “didn’t help,” he explained to Obi-Wan completely deadpan. “I’m not too worried about Luke.”
And Obi-Wan couldn’t help but agree. Luke Skywalker was an endearing child, a powerful beacon of light in the Force. His older counterpart was unorthodox to say the least, but a good and gentle man who frequently traveled the galaxy raining down equal measure of destruction and mercy upon people, a legend already. Obi-Wan shook his head and smiled. “That boy . . .”
“Leia, on the other hand . . .” Anakin said trailing off. “She wants to join the junior legislators like her mom for their summer program. She also told me she thinks Luke and her are old enough to get tattoos like all the troopers do. She’s been eyeing the art supplies and Padme’s makeup with a very odd look on her face. I swear I’m going to walk in one day and find her doing Force knows what to her brother or herself.”
They have strayed off topic. Obi-Wan was not blind to that. He let Anakin do it. If his dearest friend didn’t want to talk about it, he would not force him. He barely wanted to give voice to the truth either. There is a part of Obi-Wan that has parsed out how it must have happened, how Anakin came to Fall and his heart breaks at the mere thought of it.
Instead Obi-Wan hoped that Anakin could read his thoughts in his eyes, and feel what he wanted to really say past the lump in his throat. For my part in it, I am so sorry, Obi-Wan thought. You are not to blame. You did nothing wrong. Believe me. You are not Vader, but even if some version of you became him, even then the other you helped save everyone. He defeated the Sith. He protected us. He came back from the Dark. There was still good in him. His son believed in him. There is so much good in you.
“I am sure Leia will take the junior legislators by storm, much like her mother. She doesn’t want to be Queen, does she?” he asked worriedly. Both he and Ahsoka were waiting until the twins are a bit older to start their training in earnest.
“No, she says being Queen is too limiting. Thank the Force for small blessings. I just don’t know what Luke will do while she’s away at the program.”
“I am sure we will think of something.”

Sharanya had been surrounded by noises  all day. Questions about wedding details,  calls from Vyom, her family leaving no chance of teasing her and at the same time picking at her trying to ease her worries. But much more than any of these, what kept her mind pre-occupied was the thought of 'him' coming back. Off late, Sharanya hadn't felt him closer. The fragrance of the stargazers had begun to fade and the chilly winds seemed to have gone away. But much to her shock, what should have made her feel at peace had left her feel more restless. She could not put a finger on what exactly felt wrong with her not being able to feel him around. But something wasn't really right. Did that spirit really leave her and if yes, why was he even there in the first place...She had no answers. "Sharanya..." Chandni kept a hand on her shoulder trying to pull her back out of her chain of thoughts. "What happened darling? Vyom is waiting to put that ring on your finger and you are lost in your own world" she taunted. Collecting her thoughts Sharanya looked at her, trying to appear as normal as she could but as soon as her eyes met that of Vyom, she could not help but feel a pang of guilt grip her heart. This wasn't what this man standing in front of her deserved. He deserved to be loved equally and as passionately as he loved, and she knew that was the only thing she could not give to him, how hard she tried. She could not fathom if in the process of protecting Vyom it was correct to break his heart for ever. While Sharanya was still lost in her reverie, Rajan who had been witnessing both Chandni's scheming as well as Sharanya's hesitation from a distance, made his way to the stage. "Well Chandni you should not be worrying about Sharanya so much,  I am sure she is as excited to marry my son as him" Rajan said with a toothy smile making Sharanya flash a forceful smile at him. She could not understand what made her feel so uneasy but it surely had something to do with her past. It felt as if something within her stopped her from going ahead with this proposal. +++ Vyom approached Sharanya sometime later as he saw her standing in a corner totally lost. The two had exchanged rings by now but the happiness which Vyom wished to see on her face was totally non-existent. "Sharanya are you ok?" the voice from behind pulled her out of her daze. "Yeah I am fine Vyom...why are you asking like that?" she flushed. "Nothing you just seem so lost...aren't you happy?" Vyom asked slightly furious. Sharanya's face lost color as soon as she heard his words. "It's not like that Vyom...Why are you saying that!! I am very happy" she fumbled. "Are you sure?" he asked again. "Ofcourse" she tried to look away. "OK then come over dad has a surprise for you" he took her by the hand and walked towards the main hall of the Bedi mansion. "But Vyom mujhe batao to sahi kya hai..." she kept on asking but all he had was a smile on his face. As soon as they reached the main hall Sharanya was surprised to see a diamond studded necklace kept in the middle of the table. There was a look of resentment in Chandni's eyes and a tint of disapproval on Madhavi's face. Sharanya did not want to accept such an expensive gift but she knew she will be having no choice. "Vyom now do I really have to tell what to do next?" Rajan teased making Vyom blush. "Sharanya's mom gestured her to move ahead as Vyom lifted the necklace but Sharanya hesitated.."But uncle, Vyom iski kya zaroorat hai?" her voice trailed. "Zaroorat nahin Sharanya, this is your right now and even your duty" Rajan flashed a smile. She would be left with no route to escape, she had a clear idea of that. Still hesitant she moved around facing her back towards Vyom and pulled all her hair to one side to give him access but as soon as she bared the back of her neck, waves of shock flickered on the faces of one and all from the Bedi family. On her neck was a tattoo, with two S's intertwined into each other. "OMG what is this Sharanya...this tattoo?" chandni asked still looking at her tattoo with broad eyes and a shrewd smirk spread across her face. Rajan and Madhavi's face had drained color by now. Rajan had his fists balled at his sides.  Sharanya slowly turned her face to answer Chandni, but what her eyes met this time left her totally stunned. Everyone who stood in that hall had quite literally frozen at their spots seeing that tattoo. She could not fathom what had gone wrong with them. "Chandni aunty I don't know from where this came from but I noticed this when nurse was giving me sponge bath the day I came out from coma. She told me my tattoo was beautiful...I don't even remember when I got this"  was all she could say. +++ Next day Sharanya stood helplessly at her spot as her mom scolded her for the hiatus from last night. "But ma ismein di ki kya galti" Aditya tried to interrupt seeing a drop of tear trickle down his sister's face. "Tu chupkar Adi...Sharanya tune dekha na Vyom aur Rajan bhaisahab uss incident ke baad kitna upset tha. Itni mushkil se tumhara rishta hua hai. Tujhe dhyaan rakhna chahiye tha ki koi woh tattoo na dekhe" as her mom spoke, Sharanya could not believe her words.  "Really Ma? Aapko bas Vyom ki taqleef dikhi aur main jis taqleef se guzar rahi hoon woh koi kyun nahin dekhta? Aisa lagta hai jaise aap sabko meri memory wapas aane se kahi zyaada sirf Vyom ki padi hai. Un teen saalon mein mere saath kya hua mujhe kuch yaad nahin and all you care about is that Bedi family" she fumed. "Enough Sharanya...agar humein teri fikar na hoti to kya teri shaadi uss ladke se karwate jisse tu teen saal se pyaar karti thi? Aur ab jab tujhe tera pyaar mil raha hai to tu aise react kar rahi hai. This is not right aur behtar hoga ab tu Vyom aur uski family ka bhi apni family ki tarah khayal rakhe. " her mom scolded and walked out of the room leaving her in tears. Adi tried to console Sharanya as she sat on her bed helpless. He noticed there were 23 missed calls from Vyom on Sharanya's mobile. "Di ek baat puchun apse?" Aditya spoke after a pause. "Yahi na ki main tere favourite Vyom bhaiya ke saath aisa kyun kar rahi hoon...bol le tujhe bhi jo bolna hai Adi...bas teri hi kami hai" she sobbed. "Nahin di...It's not about Vyom bhaiya. I want to ask ki aap jaise ho,  apko kya lagta hai agar apko tattoo banwana hota to aap kahan se banwate?" Aditya's question suddenly left Sharanya surprised for a second. Her mind replayed his words and she tried to concentrate. "Sirf city ke best tattoo artist se...someone who is certified and most popular" she spoke wiping her tears. "Exactly! Because you are so finicky and particular" Aditya squealed impatiently.  "Aur aisa sirf ek hi tattoo studio hai Mussorie mein, the one just next to your college. That's the best in town. Ho na ho di I am 200% sure usi ne ye tattoo banaya hai" as Aditya said, Sharanya's eyes glittered with hope. A little smile finally spread on her face realizing she had got some clue to unravel the mystery her own past had become. Now even she was sure only the tattoo shop had some answers to her umpteenth questions about what happened in her past. +++ While Mr. and Mrs Bisht went to seek their family priests blessings, Sharanya decided to drive down to the tattoo studio next to her college. She rode her scootie at an insane speed without caring about anything else. Reaching the place she walked inside to find a stunning tattoo and piercing studio. She was totally impressed even two years back she had such classy choice. And much to her surprise the place felt eerily familiar and cheerful. As she sighed taking in the warmth of that place a smile made it's way to Sharanya's  lips when she saw a couple getting inked together. The girl smilingly affirmed as her boyfriend freted the needle making Sharanya giggle. "I am sure this reminded you of your time mam" a man spoke from behind leaving her little surprised. She turned to face the guy and couldn't recognize him but from his smile it seemed that he remembered her well. "I am sorry do I know you" she said in an embarrassed tone. "Mam really you don't remember the one who did your first tattoo?" as he spoke, Sharanya's face beamed with an ecstatic smile. "So it were you!!!" she exhaled noisily. "Yeah Ms. Bisht I was the one who did your couple tattoo and I can never forget it as it was my first in this place. It was my dream job to work here and you my first client " the guy exclaimed. "Couple tattoo? You mean I got this tattoo with Vyom?" Sharanya was totally confused now. Did Vyom know about her tattoo and if yes why was he so upset? What made him so shocked if he himself got this tattoo with her in college?? "Is his name Vyom? I don't know mam but you two got  intertwined S's...I thought his name also started from S" "What are you saying? It's my name that starts from S. And his starts from V...the famous guitarist Vyom Bedi" baffled, Sharanya flashed at the guy a picture of Vyom from her phone. He took the phone from Sharanya's hands and squinted his eyes trying to recognize his first client. "But mam he is not the one who came with you...He is not your boyfriend" Sharanya felt her world blur before her eyes as the tattoo artists words echoed in her ears. She tried to speak but coherent words refused to come out of her mouth. She tried to focus her vision, but all she could see were blurry shapes. Standing up was almost impossible; it felt like she was stuck in gelatin.  "Mam are you ok?" the guy asked concerned. When she didn't answe he tried to shake her slightly. "Can you please tell me what exactly happened that day" there was a bone chilling tremble in Sharanya's voice and her eyes had turned blood red. Despite feeling absolutely stunned at her query, the tattoo artist nodded at her, trying to recall the proceedings of the fateful day. "Mam you two had come to my studio at around noon. I was very excited as well as nervous because you were my first client here. But both of you were really supportive. You two were very happy and excited for the tattoo but yes he was a little scared. I think he didn't like needles. You requested him to let you do this alone as this was your dream but he wasnt ready. He wanted to do it for you. He wanted to it together with you. You got it on your neck and he got it on his chest. But the tattoo was exactly the same...Two S's" Streams of tears rolled down Sharanya's face as the guy's words formed black and white pictures in front of her eyes. She could not recall anything despite how hard she tried. Her head throbbed as her imagination failed to transform those blurry pictures into concrete moments. "Do you know who was he?" Sharanya asked after a pause, her voice still shaky.  The guy was more than stunned this time but did not dare to ask why she behaved so weird. "No mam but we generally have the contact details of all our clients. If you want I can give that to you" After moments of searching which actually felt no less than centuries, Sharanya got hold of two numbers from the studio's database. To her disappointment one of them had turned out to be her own number but the other looked unfamiliar. Taking in sharp breath, she slowly dialed the number and waited for someone to answer from the other end. Each time there was a dial tone, her heart sank a little deeper into the pit of her chest. Not hearing any response from the other end of the phone Sharanya finally decided to hang up in frustration when the sudden sound of a heavy breath echoed from the other end of the receiver. Her heart had stopped beating for that one second. "Hi" a throaty masculine baritone resonated from the other end of the receiver leaving Sharanya frozen at her place. His voice passed through her body like a thousand  undercurrents charging up each miniscule particle of her existence. She suddenly felt afloat and buoyant. The water swirled around her suddenly, pushing against her skin like it had come alive, sliding over her arms and legs in a watery caress. She could no longer comprehend what she heard from the other end of the phone but just the virile voice that was making her go insane. His voice played havoc with her senses as if every bone in her body had turned into jelly. "I'm currently either away from my desk or on the other line. Please leave your name, telephone number, and a short message after the beep,... and I'll be sure to get back to you as soon as I'm available. " the voice reached Sharanya only as haunting resonating echoes. She had no strength in her her to make out where she was and what was happening to her. Hearing that voice seemed as ecstatic as floating in clouds but at the same time as painful as the feeling of hiraeth. It was a mixture of longing, yearning, nostalgia, wistfulness and the most intense forms of pain all striking her at the same time.  " ... And well, if it's you Ms. Bisht,  I know you feel like punching me hard but work beckons darling. Till then don't forget I LOVE YOU!!...NOW AND ALWAYS YOURS...Shiv" Malika

Sins & Amends Chapter 58
Tumblr media
Billy Russo x Female Reader (60 part story)
This follows pre- the punisher into the storyline of daredevil, punisher season 1 and beyond
This is NOT Canon Billy. This is decent human being Billy left with bad options over worse decisions
This was also posted to A03 under: WaywardGaPeach. That account and this one is the only place you'll see me post this. If you see it on any other platform/account know it's not me.
Chapter Summary/Warnings: Wedding planning commences
"You've got a dress fitting today don't you?" Billy asked, leaving a trail of kisses across your bare shoulder. "Yeah. Karen and Adi are meeting me at the diner for breakfast then we're going to make a day of it"  Adi had insisted on staying with Frank and Karen the night before since they'd just moved into their house so you let her.
He leaned back far enough you were able to move around and face him. The smile on his face made your heart flip. You reached up and ran your fingers lightly across the scars on his cheek "I like seeing that smile on you" you admitted and he turned his head to kiss the palm of your hand "This smile comes from knowing I have you and our daughter. I couldn't ask for anything else"
A matching smile slipped onto your face at his words "I love you Mr Russo" he pressed a gentle kiss to your lips then said "I love you too soon to be Mrs Russo" before the kiss could turn into anything more Billy's phone started ringing and you knew it was Frank's alert. You laughed when he groaned and buried his face in your neck "Naw uh. Answer Frank, I'm gonna go hop in the shower. If you talk to him now you can join me"
He watched you climb out the bed with a playful pout but you heard him say "Hey Frank" before you stepped into the bathroom.
------------------
You were standing under the water with your eyes closed when you felt Billy's hands slide around your waist. You leaned back into his touch before asking "What's up with Frank?" "Asking what time we have to go to the tux place" he grumbled finding that one spot on your neck that always made you weak "All of that can wait, let me love my fiancee a little before the day starts" "Fine by me" you all but whispered barely biting back a moan when his hand slid lower.
-------------------
It had taken you weeks upon weeks to finally decide on a dress. You'd never really considered yourself to be one of those women that went insane trying to find the perfect dress but none of the ones you tried felt right.
It finally occurred to you that you weren't looking at dresses you liked. You were looking at what was considered traditional wedding dresses. There wasn't anything about you and Billy that was traditional.
When you dropped that aspect you and Karen happened upon the perfect dress. It was everything you wanted but it was also black. You were worried what Billy would think if you wore a black dress so you bought it up one night. His response had been "Y/N I'd marry you in these pjs you have on. If it's your dream wedding dress I already love it"
You'd went back the next day and bought the dress.  You ended up finding Adi a flower girl dress that was literally a mini copy of your own. Karen found a gold bridesmaid dress that you absolutely adored and since that fit the color scheme you'd picked it was the dress she decided on.
The wedding was going to be small and intimate. The wedding party itself was just Karen as your maid of honor, Frank as Billy's best man, Adi as the flower girl and Curtis was walking you down the aisle. Counting everyone you considered part of your circle there would only be about fifty people there. Everything from the venue to the food fit you and Billy perfectly.
----------------
When you walked into the diner you heard Adi's voice first "Mommy!" You looked up to see her and Karen in a corner booth. Karen smiled "She's been keeping an eye out" you held out your arms and Adi jumped into them.
You slid across from Karen and she laughed when Adi slid between the two of you and said "Mommy! I love aunt Karen's house!" She started rambling all the different rooms which you knew considering you'd help set the house up but you loved seeing her so excited. Karen leaned over next to her and said "Maybe when the house next to me and uncle Frank is finished you, mommy and daddy can move into it!"
You and Billy hadn't long contracted the company to start construction. Adi just didn't know the house next to uncle Frank and aunt Karen's would in fact be your new home in about a year.
Adi's eyes got big at that "Mommy?" You shrugged "Maybe, who knows?" And winked at Karen before adding "and maybe after me and daddy get married, uncle Frank and aunt Karen will be next" you knew Frank had already went ring shopping. Billy nor Curtis could keep a secret from you. A light blush graced Karen's cheeks before she said "Maybe"
The three of you ate while you talked about the upcoming wedding, the fact that Frank had finally given in and they were adopting a puppy and both of yours work. "I'm glad Jessie can work with Alice for you to have some time off" she said and you nodded in agreement. "Aren't you and Frank going to join us at the cabin? I mean we'll be there for a week but i figured you two could come up on the weekend" "Of course. Wouldn't pass an opportunity on a mini vacation"
------------------
You helped Adi try on her flower girl dress in one room while Karen was trying on her dress in the other. "Ok aunt Karen we're coming out!" You called and opened the door with a flourish. "Aunt Karen you're so pretty!" Adi squealed. "Look at you! You look like a princess!" Karen gushed in response.
You smiled at the way the two of them were twirling around so you grabbed your phone to snap a few photos. After you laid your phone down you clapped your hands together and said "Yes I do believe I have the most gorgeous maid of honor and the absolute most beautiful flower girl"
They both gave a curtsy with a laugh before Karen waved her hand at you "Now your turn so we can gush" you smiled "yes ma'am miss page" and disappeared into your own dressing room.
----------------
When you walked out Karen and Adi had matching expressions. Wide eyes and huge smiles "Mommy! You're beautiful!" Adi giggled and Karen nodded "She took the words right out of my mouth"
You stepped over to look at yourself in the mirror and smiled at your reflection. You loved this dress "How do you think Billy will react?" Karen cut her eyes at Adi then said "I think he'll be speechless and I'm betting on some tears. Oh yeah Billy is gonna be one of those happy criers on your wedding day" Adi grinned and added "Daddy thinks you're pretty when you wake up mommy!" with a laugh.
------------------
After you scheduled a time for Karen to pick up all three dresses the three of you left the shop. "Well now what's the plan?" Karen asked so you checked the time "Well Frank, Billy and Curt should be finishing up. We can round them up to do something?" Adi nodded "I want ice cream"
You tilted your head back towards her "I guess we'll round them up for ice cream then" Karen laughed and said "sounds like a plan to me"
--------------
You sat between Billy and Frank while Adi tried her best to steal at least one spoonful of everyone's choices. You started to doubt her decision to mix mint chocolate chip, rocky road, cotton candy and cookie dough but she seemed content with the choice and still had plenty of time to have an appetite back for dinner.
"So what's the final guest list?" Curtis asked so you pointed around the table "besides us? Candace of course, Foggy, Marci, Matt, Lilith, Alice and Kenz, the Liebermans, Ellison and his wife then everyone I've worked with for so many years from the station house and a few choice from Homeland"
Frank shook his head with a laugh "Bill having a small, non flashy wedding. Miracles do happen" Billy leaned up and said "Now Frankie you know for Y/N and Adi anything is possible" the two shared a loaded look that you knew held years and so much baggage but after a moment Frank smiled "Ain't that the damn trust" and flicked some of his ice cream at Billy. You laughed as you ducked and Karen scolded them both.

Chapter Two: Alone Together By Ady/Mast
The wedding was all that they talked about that day. Kalari was jumping with joy, and was beaming pure joy and being generally elated making all around her either happy or scared for her health, because what on growalectalep could make a girl that happy other than a sickness.
“Oh wait what will mother think, do you think she will set aside her hatred of you, and allow herself to be happy for me?” Kalari asks Jaf suddenly the thought sucking her joy away.
“Let us not dwell on the feelings of others for they are the troubles of none other than themselves. Instead be happy seeing you smile brings me a joy unknown to any creature.” Jaf said smiling at his soon to be bride.
“I feel like an extra cart wheel, just kind of there not doing anything, but you know I an still there just not being useful.” Gari informs his friend and cousin, indifferent to the fact that neither actually heard what he just said.
“You would think that after talking about in all lunch the effect would have worn off, it certainly did for me.” Yaui says to Gari while kicking a rock on the road.
“You can’t blame her though, she has wanted this for about half a year almost a full cycle even.”
“Yeah, I guess, but still if she could just calm down even a little that would be great.”
“Just shut up and let her be happy dude, even if you aren’t at least let others be happy.” Gari says ever so slightly annoyed by his friend’s hard mood.
“Stupid telling me to shut up. . .” Yaui mumbled on ranting about how he wasn’t stupid Gari was for telling him to shut up. Gari caught ear of this rant and just shook his head in disappointment at his friend’s lack of control over his emotions especially anger. But as his friend Gari let him blow off his anger because after all he was not hurting anybody in anyway, well nobody who cared anyway. The four of them walked around the town till the doors of shops closed, and windows of homes shut letting the light of fire shine through the cracks.
“Kalari it is getting dark and your mother hates it when we aren’t home before dark, it’s like she still thinks we are Kadyr-kin, which I guess we are in a weird way but still.” Gari said walking down to the house that had his bed.
“Yes she does, see you in the morning Jaf.” Kalari says while waving at Yaui and hurrying to catch up to Gari.
“Do you think she’ll have dinner? I hope so, I am really hungry.” Gari says salivating at the thought of food.
“You think about food to much, but you are always hungry so I guess its justified in a way, but still you and food are seen together way to often.” Kalari says opening the door to their house.
“And by what gods do you think it is okay for you to be out so late, you could have died, or worse been arrested.” Auntie says as they enter the house ignoring her rant.
“Is dinner ready?” Gari asks looking around.
“Food is the only thing you ever think about isn’t it, but yes I have dinner just about ready, go ahead and sit down while I finnish it up.” Auntie says abandoning her rant at the question. Gari and Kalari pull up chairs at the dinning table and not a second after they sit down Auntie comes out with the food.
“There, Now to pray. . .” Auntie began praying ignoring the ravenous looks Gari was giving his plate of food. The moment Auntie finished praying Gari stuffed his face as fast as he could. They ate dinner in silence, once everyone was finished they all went to bed without a word to each other. They didn’t speak to each other not out of spite or hatred for one another but for lack of things to say. Over the next few days Kalari slowly moved out of her Mothers house and into Jaf’s. Wether her mother knew or not Kalari always wondered, but no matter what she did she couldn’t tell for sure. Gari helped Kalari sneak her stuff out by catching it when she tossed it out the window late at night. The day before Gari was to begin his job Jartee’s shop, Auntie caught him sneaking some of Kalari’s belongings over to Jaf’s.
“What are you doing with Kalari’s things Gari?” she asked calmly but with the air of lie and you will drop dead.
“Uhh… n-n-nothing, what about you.” Gari asks frozen in shock and fear for his cousin coming rath about being caught, and his aunts rath about not telling her what her daughter was doing behind her back. Auntie gives Gari a look of pity, and watches his face as he realises the mistake he just made, the mistake that practically secured his death. He looks down in disappointment and falls behind his aunts steps as she heads back home. When Auntie opens the door she catches Kalari with her stuff in a crate reaching for the door, it only adds to the rant she began preparing when she caught Gari. Kalari looks from her mother to her cousin her face shifting from fear to anger and defeat.
“To cut you off before you even begin you presumably long winded and internally practiced rant let me explain. I am moving out wether you like it or not, and to make sure you couldn’t object I decided to move all my stuff to Jaf’s my future husband mother, I am marrying him again wether you like it or not, Gari was just helping me move my stuff so leave him out of it he wasn’t doing it out of spite or anything other than just being helpful.” Kalari says to her mother adopting a fighting stance. Gari being on the sidelines for this fight watched as his aunt grew red with anger making it hard to tell when her hair stopped and her face began.
“Before you say something you regret Auntie remember you love your daughter, and she is growing up please don’t do anything just let it be you can’t control her or me all of our lives, well I guess if you have food I’m an easy mark, but still let her live her own life and learn the way she will wether it be the hard way or the easy way, that is something she needs to find out for herself.” Gari says bracing for his Auntie to hit him full force with her rant. When she lets out a sigh and sits down by the fire, both cousins let out their pent up breath and look cautiously from one another to the chair where she sat. they sat down on either side of her when she broke down crying.
“I-I made the same choices you did my lovely daughter, and they ended up being the wrong ones, but who knows maybe when you do it they will be the right ones. The only way to know is to let you try, both of you let me be I want to be alone for awhile.” Auntie says drifting to a land of time past when she was many years younger. Both of them got up and picked up Kalaris stuff and began the journey again to Jaf’s house. The road to his house was still and silent with the sound of the forrest.
Jaf opened the door on the second knock, “Your eyes are filled with sadness but your face with joy…” he starts when Gari interrupts him, “First we need to set this stuff down, second I need to eat, and third Kalari will fill you in on why we… what ever it was you said.” Gari says not waiting for Jaf to answer and moving inside and quickly finding some dried meat to snack on. He nods to Yaui sitting by the fire and Yaui nods back. Kalari sits down and begins to explain what happened.
Gods why has no one done anything about this Nissassa and his rebellion, like he is literally killing innocent grothra just for being “impure”, why have the teachers done nothing surely they can do something about it. And if they have why haven’t they succeded yet. Maybe he is protected by some demon or maybe he is a Trebqu, that's a scary thought a magic killer, if that is the case then to kill him or at least stop him you would need a magical weapon of some sort, like the Light of Staar, or the Four Stones, or… The Hidden Sword, a sword that marks it’s master so that only the wielder can see it now that would do it if only we knew where it was the rest of us could defeat him… we just need to find it and he is as good as dead, I’ll find it and bring it to the teachers in Noitanigami and they can defeat him, yes that's what I’ll do, that's what needs to be done even if it means leaving everyone behind.
“...and that's what happened.” Kalari spoke sadly but with a smile on her face, “Are you okay Gari, you look sad…”
“What… oh yeah I’m fine, I just have something I need to do…” Gari says putting the food down and leaving Jaf’s house to return to his own to pack for the journey that may take many months or years. Jaf and Yaui run up behind him.
“What are you doing dude, please tell me it’s nothing stupid that's what I’m supposed to do not you dude.” Jaf says concerned for his friend.
“Yeah dude what are you doing, you can tell us, screw that you need to tell us.” Yaui says stoping. Gari sighs and turns to them.
“I’m gonna try and find The Hidden Sword and bring it to the teachers so they can beat Nissassa so they can stop him from killing thousands of grothra and grothra-kin just for not meeting his standards of pure. Its just… I have to do something, let me do it. Jaf keep my cousin happy and Yaui keep Jaf happy…” Yaui interrupts Gari’s little speech.
“Wait who’s supposed to keep me happy, why is no one keeping me happy. Why can’t I be happy.” Yaui says puzzled and a little annoyed at it.
“L-let me do-o it.” Gari says turning back and heading to his house.
“Okay…” Jaf says turning back to his house with Yaui. When Gari reaches his front door, he goes straight to his room and backs his pack. He goes down to the kitchen and finds some dried meat and bread, as well as his water skin. He throws his pack over his shoulders along with his bow and arrows. He pats his leg where his twin blades are strapped to him. He leaves the house he called home for many years, the house where his Auntie is sleeping, the house he was determined to protect.
He was just leaving behind Kiplier, the fire light of his home town his home clan behind when he heard shuffling behind him. He whipped around a blade in his hand.
“Woah dude not trying to kill you, one might say the exact opposite of it actually.” Jaf says pushing the blade down and away from his chest.
“Yeah were here to help you…” Yaui begins when Gari cuts him off.
“I told you to stay, to keep Kalari happy to keep Jaf happy to keep each other happy and safe, this-this is the exact opposite o-o-of safe y-you… l-look at w-w-what you d-did put me under s-s-stress and made me s-s-stutter.” Gari says getting more and more stressed and angry as his friends just watch him stutter, and at the fact that they came to try and join him.
“Breath, calm down and let me explain. We decided you where going to need help, because no one knows where the Hidden Sword is, but it is the type of thing that people kill for, so you would probably like some help protecting that life of yours that everyone holds near and dear to their heart.” Yaui says.
“I understand,” Gari takes a deep breath, “but I don’t want you guys to die on my watch or because of me, because what would I do then…” Gari finishes with a sigh.
“We won’t die, I mean we are only looking for something not actively trying to kill someone. We are coming wether you like it or not Gari and I will fight you if you try to stop us.” Jaf says holding up his yranoitcid and getting into a battle stance, Yaui does the same.
“Fine. You can come but… I will do this no matter what it takes, no matter how long it takes, no matter anything I will do this.” Gari says starting back on his journey.
“So… where are we going?” Jaf asks.
“South to Noitanigami, to the Library of All, hopefully it can give us a little more information on the where abouts of the sword even if its just where it was seen a couple hundred years ago, that's better than what little information we have.” Gari says not stopping or turning back.
“And what do we have?” Jaf asks puzzled.
“Nothing.” Yaui answers.

Updates - Kay Snow part 1
I’m redoing yours and making it longer -
Tumblr media
Many of you will know Kay Snow as the leader of the famous girl group Trinity, in which her and her two cousins (Adi Snow & Bri Snow) rocked the world with there very unique sound.
Tumblr media
Or maybe you know her as the leader and main singer of her extremely popular (#1 worldwide) girl group The Sirens, name any of the sirens and they are all household names. Plus Kay and Adi snow videos are hilarious literally go on youtube and watch there videos it makes me laugh every time. Or do you recognize her as Harley Quinn, or Serena from the I Spit on Your Grave movie franchise or even her solo album Dark Paradise.
Tumblr media
Anyway lets dive in, so another thing Kay is known for is her various public realtionships, first linked with Liam Payne former 1d member, actor Damien Thorne and many others. However it was her relationship with actor and producer Negan Morgan. They met on the set of the Left for Dead during season 4 and 5 when she was a recurring character as Lana, Negans love interest. And like many actors these two went from co-star to couple coming out during the after show after Lana’s death scene.
Holy shit did this not go over so well with fans, the Left for Dead fans loved it (theyre couple was the most popular on the show), but some of Kay Snows fans gave her a lot of flack for the 20 yr age difference. A few celebrities even chimed in against it. Wendy Williams calling it “shameful, what could a little girl have in common with a man like him?”, Bri Snow agreeing calling him a “cradle-robber.” and like always Azealia banks took to twitter trying to denounce there relationship saying it was “f**king gross but I guess that someone with no talent needs a sugar daddy to pay for her. I bet she was pimped herself out to him for Fire.” (Fire being the third album of The Sirens).
Tumblr media
Both Negan and Kay came back at her both posting a picture with both of the sticking up the middle finger with the caption “I’m happy deal with it.” and then tweeted back at Banks, Shangela’s famous sugar daddy speech from Rupauls Drag Race and went on to co-write one of her most famous solo albums Off to the Races which describes her and Negans relationship mixed with there characters in Left for Dead.
Tumblr media
Anyway despite opposition from others they stayed together for quite a bit considering Hollywood romances don’t last every long. Even going to the Caribbean together for vacation soon after that he went back to Left for dead and Kay and the Sirens went on the Playing with Fire world tour, which I went to it was amazing! Loved the show for real get tickets to them you wont regret it. . But nothing gold can stay and around them being together for three years they split up. Some people specuated it was because of Kay’s friendship with footballer Maximus Valente since they were seen out shortly after at disco style club Studio 54. She addressed it later on an episode of Ellen saying “Max, didn’t cause anything. Sometimes things just don’t work out the way you plan, sometimes things happen but that doesn't mean I love Negan any less. He’ll always be apart of my life.”
Tumblr media
And to move on from her relationship she moved out of her own house and bought a new one which is where Kitty and the Sirens wrote the singles Dirty Harry, Clint Eastwood and Pity Party.
Tumblr media
6 months after her breakup she was seen getting in a fight with ex-one direction member on the street in front of The To Anyone Entertainment building, during the fight Louis grabbed her and tried to drag her into into a car all while they are yelling at each other and cursing and hitting and this is all being filmed and everything - right here, the video is pretty crazy like youd think after being told to leave her alone he would- nope. So he got a restraining order on him and it turns out he had been harassing and stalking her for months previous to the fight and that day it all came to a head. She also sued but the argument was settled before it went to court.
Tumblr media
When asked about it during a interview with Thomas Valentine “Louis and I were good friends during the one direction days especially when Trinity was new and I was learning about the industry from someone I thought I could trust. But I was young and foolish and let him get away with a lot of things that were sort of red flags because I thought he was my friend. But he took advantage of me and my kindness and I believed in him and his empty promises. I caught on more when he couldn’t rely on Liam to hide behind and told him to (bleep) off he didn’t take it well and really started to … harass me with constant calls and visits and I thought it was over but his family  owned more then half of To Anyone Entertainment and I was supposed to act like he wasn’t doing what he was doing and sweep it under the rug as nothing and in return he was supposed to leave me alone especially in the building. He did not listen which is why a lot of the music writing and recording was not in building however Louis isn’t stupid and only did it around people he knew he could get away with it around, he rarely did it around Edward, Draven, William or Negan or Max because he was afraid of them that's why I was always around them and no matter how much I yelled at him or cursed him or even hit him he wouldn’t stop. He even had the nerve to write that song Addiction about me and I know its about me because when it came out he wrote me this like 14 page letter discussing how every lyric reflected his thoughts about me … I guess im grateful for that considering after the judge read it the restraining order was practically done by then.” Holy hell, the hate Louis received after that made him delete his all of his social media and a few assholes came after Kay saying she was making it all up but the Cat Crew backed the main Cat Girl up, including Adi Snow who called Louis out and said her story was all true.
Tumblr media
To bring out the new year Maximus Valente announced his relationship with Kay snow on a cute Instagram video at a beach party thrown by fellow teammate player Romeo Popov. That is where Max and Kay became the couple goals we all know them to be. Seriously they are so cute together and by the way so good together can I just say. However another scandal rocked this girl during the filming of Harley & Ivy, where Kay played Harley Quinn, a sex tape featuring Kay and Liam leaked online from someone to have claimed to been an inside source having been taken years earlier.
Tumblr media
A few people on twitter took to talking about it almost right away trouble maker Azealia Banks claims she was cheating on Maximus and was “a dirty bitch with an even dirtier p*ssy.” Camilla Cabelo liking the tweet and @ Liam then Bri Snow tweeting “Just waiting for this drama # GotMyPopcorn.” Liam tweeted back saying “That was filmed a long time ago, she isn’t a cheater, I am not a cheater and honestly its obvious it was a long time ago, both her and I have gotten tattoos since then and I don’t know how it was leaked but the hate is completely unnecessary. Its not a secret, we were a couple but this video is one we meant to keep private so please just respect us enough to not send us hate about it.” Finally able to get to social media Kay addresses the video in a video of her own. “Liam said it perfectly, the hate is stupid and clearly given most of my tattoos are missing and my hair is shorter and red in the video I mean really guys? I obviously never wanted it to get out and it is an incredible invasion of privacy but its out now so just be kind to Liam and I and be kind to Maximus and Liams partner.”
Tumblr media
However the sex tape scandal faded as The Sirens announced there highly successful I Am The Best Album and following world tour and even had two remixes of the songs as a distrack of I am the best and Ddu du ddu du to those who have come for them, Kay addressing Camilla, Bri Snow and Azealia in the remixes. That amazing ass album went platinum and they deserved it. It was amazing!
Tumblr media
During the Sirens hiatus following Makayla Arrabah’s pregnancy announcement a video that all Malyn shippers saved to look at forever came out of Maximus proposing to Kay in cute little restaurant in Greece during there vacation. Oh my god my heart hurt it was so sweet! This was a really sweet time by the way because within this year period Makayla gave birth, Adi and Edward became an official couple, the new Wonder Woman movie starring Draven came out and Katya’s solo album Diamonds came out.
Tumblr media
The dream couple got married in October of that year near the couples favorite holiday (Halloween)  and in Maximus’ home country of Italy in a beautiful ceremony captured by Maid of Honor Adi Snow and Best man Romeo Popov. The wedding was supposed to be private but since both the bride and the groom had star studded guest list paps actually had people trying to break in to the venue.
Tumblr media
For their there honeymoon (after football season) these cuties went back Greece and enjoyed there little vacations, Maximus’s Instagram is filled with pictures like this. The year following there honeymoon she was pretty free from scandal and stayed pretty out of the magazines, working closer and closer with Edward Styles actually directing the film style music videos for his Album Abyss and starring as the Demon of Fame in the music video My Darling and this was also the time Real Time with the Snows the reality show about the snow family. It mostly revolves around her mothers side of the family and the constant drama around them.
Tumblr media
But it was on an episode, now famous for revealing Kay’s pregnancy, which Kay was staying at her moms house and when her mother and Eva were coming back from the nail salon and a 6-month pregnant Kay was with Tyler and Adi in the kitchen complaining at who was eating her Rocky Road Ice Cream. And the fans went crazy after that aired all her social media was flooded with questions about her pregnancy and a few people actually sent her more Rocky Road Ice Cream. She and Maximus confirmed they were expecting twins and didn’t want to jinx anything that's why they waited to confirm the pregnancy.
Tumblr media
2months later they gave birth to there twins a boy and a girl. Apollo Romeo Valente.
Tumblr media
And Annabel Lee Valente aka Ella. These kids are the freaking cutest! So she really took a break from performing and got into the producing aspect of things directing a lot of To Anyone’s singers videos including Edward Styles, William, Kitty and the boy group Millennium and even helped recruit new talent for the Agency. She even traveled with the kids to start a To Anyone agency in South Korea.
Tumblr media
During the next 2 years Kay was pretty much exempt from scandal and worked on the horror/ thriller revenge tale I Spit On Your Grave as Serena Lorelai. So okay I love kay but I held off watching it because I heard it has a lot of gore and I’m a big baby when it comes to that but I finally watched it and holy shit its amazing! Like it is just a woman taking charge after 5 men do some really fucked up stuff to her and oh my god it was so good! Like I bought it on iTunes and watch it every two months like its a great movie for real.
However, tragedy struck my favorite people shortly after something kay described as “the worst moment that ever happened to me.” Kay was spending time with a heavily pregnant Adi and the kids in her house when the news came on. Drunk driver struck celebrities limo all being rushed to the hospital. The limo was for Edward Styles bachelor party and in it was William Tomlinson, Harry and Marcel Styles, Stephen James, Robert and Andrew Hood, Ian Payne, Maximus Valente and Billy Hargrove. All besides Andrew Hood were seriously injured. The scene around the hospital was ridiculous, so many paparazzi and fans crowded the hospital not only because of the news but also because the news caused Arianna snow to go into labor a few days early. Sadly, Edward Styles, Maximus Valente and Robert Hood passed away just a day later. I can’t begin to imagine the pain these poor people felt and no one got out of that car crash unharmed. William has a metal pins in his legs since both were broken, Stephen has a slight limp when he walks, Ian and Billy both have scars where they had to get surgery, Harry had to have surgery on his arm and Marcel’s wrist still aches when it rains.
Tumblr media
The three funerals were held within a couple of days of each other but all of them were so beautiful and heartbreaking, so many people came to the funeral and so many pictures were taken. You can see she just looked so sad delivering the eulogy and Ella and Apollo even ran on stage with her when she started crying.
Tumblr media
In the following months Adi moved in with Kay and both found inspiration in there tragedy and while Adi was writing her Album For Him Kay co-wrote the songs and directed the beautiful cinematic music videos Dark Paradise, Like You’ll never see me again (I cry every time I hear that song) and You Found Me. She said writing and counselling really helped her get back out into the public and she slowly began to preform the songs live and began to go on social media again and became the face of Kyle Couture’s X! Line.
Tumblr media
Then our leader headed to Asia at the request of Got7′s Jackson Wang and BTS’s RM both wanted to help write/produce the sirens newest album and they actually started one of the most successful collaborations between Korean artists with the song Oh Yeah!, Oh Nana (ft. Suga), and E.T. Like if you thought this woman was popular in asia before, this boosted her appeal out there by like 1000%. Actually Big Hit and JYP offered her a job as a producer to help create new girl groups for the company. With plenty convincing from both sides she decided to take the job with Big Hit and with RM helped create the girl group Dream. It was the closeness of the way both boys (Jackson and RM) acted with Kay during interviews, the constant inst pictures with the twins and how fondly they spoke of her, the fact that Jackson just straight up said he loved her and RM saying that she was an inspiration for the song DNA, that made many fans speculate whether kay was dating either boy and between the internet fans it actually started a sort of war between the two fandoms, shipping #Kackson or #Kayjoon.
Tumblr media
Fans went real stalkerish during this time practically analyzing everything about Kay and these two boys, any pictures or interview that was made about them people analyzed. Half of Kays fans (and GOT7 stans) favored Jackson from the simple fact that hes always been close to her even before she met RM. They met through former Miss A member Jia and have been good friends ever since. Plus everyone knows he’ s like amazing with kids and Ella and Apollo seem to get along with him very well. Plus this sneaky boy is always posting pictures of the five of them (including his super cute dog) with the family emoji.
Tumblr media
The case for Namjoon was that they clearly work so well together, even building a girl group and the long nights they have to pull together and on interviews they seem to be good friends. Plus he’s crazy smart and clearly cares for her, even on BTS TV he watched Ella and Apollo a few times and its honestly adorable how cute he is with them. Plus everyone can see how respectful he is of Kay. And this boy includes her in everything, Jungkook even joked they should just get a spare room for her at the house.

During Dreams highly successful debut stage and first mini album Kay stepped back for a moment and headed back to the States to return to Left For Dead season 9 returning as Lana. However, both Namjoon and Jackson posted them still facetiming and fans from both sides of the argument demanded or begged or pressured her to pick one but Kay stayed illusive about her relationships with the boys. The views for the Left for Dead episode where Lana came back was highly rated and a few people thought that Negan and Kay would get back together especially since the chemistry was 100% for real like I loved it, it was steamy af. She actually received an Emmy for her performance as Lana a few months later and during this time Kay was seen out more and more with her children and her left for dead costars but many people focused on her outings with Negan but what kills me is that she was never just them two in these outings all her pictures Adi or Shawn were by her.

Unfortunately for Kay just a week before the Emmy’s in which she was nominated for best guest actress as Lana Rhodes, she suffered from an armed break-in in her Los Angela’s home. The upcoming description is from what she said in interviews and released police reports, testimonys and her 911 call.  At approximately 4:30 am, Louis Tomlinson, former One Direction member broke in through the laundry room of Kay Snow’s LA home with a gun with a silencer, while Kay, Apollo and Ella slept upstairs. Louis then got out laundry room and headed upstairs while Hades, Kay’s German Shepard Dog awoke from his sleep and presumably found Louis as he exited the laundry room, he let out a few barks that alerted Kay and was silenced when Louis shot him and dragged his body into the laundry room. Quickly cleaning up the blood with his sweatshirt when Kay walked downstairs, he hid once again in the laundry room until he heard the girl walk back upstairs. As soon as she went upstairs, Louis exited the laundry room and made his way upstairs and into Kay Snow’s room and proceeded to watch her sleep until she awoke at 6:30 where as soon as her alarm went off he hid in her closest and she went into the bathroom and as she was headed into the hallway he sprung out and grabbed her. She fought back but he threatened her with the gun if she screamed and told her to do her morning routine as normal because “this is the new normal.”
Tumblr media
Kay proceeded to get her children ready for school, packing Ella and Apollo’s lunch while Louis watches and “he kept staring at the kids and he folded down every picture I had around the house of Max saying he was going to replace them all and when he was taking down the portait of Max and I, I wrote the note and sent the kids off.” In both Ella and Apollo’s lunches Kay wrote notes to there teachers both saying ‘Please call 911 and send them to my house SOS -Kay S.’ “I found Hades [her dog] and I was crying while I was cleaning him up, but he was so far gone he didn’t care or notice he took away my phone and every half an hour he was putting something up his nose, he was high out of his mind and waving that gun around. He was trying to test, see if I would fight him like I did before. I couldn’t- this time I had kids to think about. It was terrifying, he was ranting and raving how we were going to get married and how I was going to change mine and my kids named to Tomlinson. Just crazy shit like that and when the cops got there finally it got worse.” There was a standoff with the cops for 9 hours, where Louis held her hostage. Media went crazy, Adi Snow cutting her world tour short when she heard what happened. Louis then announced that if they cant live happily “then we can’t live at all.” He then proceeded to cook a dinner for him and kay lacing her drink with a sedative which “He didn’t notice I saw him put whatever it was in there and as soon as he set it down in front of me I threw It in his face and ran, that’s when he started shooting his gun, so I ran as fast as could upstairs and I went into the nearest room. Ella’s. I locked the door and I heard him coming up the stairs while shooting the gun. I was trying to climb out of the window but he shot off the lock and grabbed me back in and just kept hitting me with the gun. Then he dragged me downstairs and that’s when the swat team came in.”

Summary: The skeletons in the Nevrakis Family Vault come out to play.
[Platonic Olivia x Riley Conners, background Liam x Riley]
In the dimly lit archives, while combing through old records to find anything else on the Severus Family and her parents, in a folder subtly labeled ‘Black Mail’ Olivia found a birth certificate. An American birth certificate. That immediately put Olivia on edge, she only knew two Americans.
Oliva read the paper. “This is to certify that…oh my god.” Looking through the folder further made her heart pound, it was only a week until the wedding, why did she have to find this now. “This can’t be…” She stood and pulled out her phone. “Liam, I need to talk to you…it’s about Riley.”
A few hours later, folder in hand, Olivia was lead into the King’s Study by Bastien. Waiting for her was Liam, Riley, Hana, Maxwell and Drake. Liam stood when she entered “What’s the matter Olivia, you sounded upset on the phone.” He gestured to an empty chair but the Duchess shook her head “I…I’m fine. It’s more what I found.”
Olivia took a breath, set the folder on the desk and took out the birth certificate. Hands shaking slightly, she began reading “This is to certify that Riley Lucinda Conners was born to Lucretia Nevrakis and Lucas Conners on October 31st 1990 at The Mount Sinai Hospital.” She stopped and looked up at the group. Facial expressions ranged from shock to disbelief. Riley’s face was impassive. Her eyes had done cold as she stared at the wall behind Olivia.
Drake was the one who broke the silence “So, let me get this straight…Conners, our Conners, is Lucretia’s daughter?!”
“You’re cousins?!” Maxwell’s voice shot up two octaves
Olivia didn’t answer them, only watched Riley as she stood and started pacing. “You know…after the incident with…him, I searched for my birth records. I found my fa…found Lucas. He died shortly after I was born. According to my birth certificate and his death certificate, a few hours short.” Riley took a breath “The name listed on the certificate I have is Lucy Diavolos. A fake name.”
Maxwell whistled “This is insane.”
“A DNA test showed that I was half Cordonian.” Riley stopped pacing and took Liam’s hand, squeezing it briefly she continued “…I called in a favor and got the police report for the night. It was Halloween in New York, people get shot…happens all the time.”
Hana nodded “Riley…Olivia, are you alright?”
Riley looked at Olivia “…We have a lot to talk about.”
Two Weeks Later
It was well past visiting hours. Most Cordonians were fast asleep. As Lucretia was before a guard had shaken her awake and dragged her into a holding room. She sat there for hours. She knew she was being watched, the wall behind her poorly hid the two-way mirror. “Come out then. We’re not getting any younger.”
The door opened and Lucretia was surprised to see her niece walk in. “This is certainly a surprise Livvy.” Olivia said nothing, just stepped aside as Queen Riley came up behind her. Riley shut the door and the two sat in front of Lucretia. The ticking of the clock seemed to vibrate the room.
Riley stared at Lucretia before speaking “I was an orphan. Grew up in New York, always wishing for a family.” She tsked “I watched some of my best friends get adopted out of the system…not me though. I always wondered why.”
Lucretia rolled her eyes “As fascinating as this is, I fail to see why is was important enough to wake me up at this ungodly hour.”
Riley slammed her hands on the table and leaned closer “Because I want you to look at me.” her voice came out a hiss of barely tamed rage “Look me in the eyes and tell me there’s nothing you recognize.”
Lucretia looked at Riley, noted the way her hair fell in her face, the curvature of her nose and then… “Luke.” Her voice trembled with emotions that she spent nearly three decades suppressing. “Y-You…you’re…” Lucretia closed her eyes willing her tears to subside.
“I’m your daughter.” Riley finished, sitting back down in her seat. “The daughter you abandoned. The daughter of the man you killed.”
Lucretia’s eyes snapped open “Luke is dead?” her voice cracked
Riley raised her eyebrow “You didn’t know?”
“Obviously not!” the older woman spat. “I was still delirious on the medication the hospital gave me when…” she swallowed “When I came to…my mother was in the room. She said Luke had taken the baby and wanted nothing to do with me. I was young…I trusted my mother.”
Olivia rolled her eyes “Foolish is what you were. Grandmother took the c…took Riley to an orphanage and had Lucas killed.”
A strangled sob broke from Lucretia. Hot tears fell down her cheeks as she bowed her head to the table. “Riley…Riley…I’m sorry. I…I didn’t know. I should…I should’ve…” she broke off, letting the sorrow take hold of her.
Riley stood and placed a small journal on the table in front of Lucretia. “You should have done a lot of things.”
Lucretia’s cries echoed in the room as the doors closed, and she was left in her grief.
