I think that if you watch The Mummy 2 on its own, it’s a fine little flick with flaws but a lot of charms. But if you The Mummy 2 right after watching the first one, it becomes the absolute worst movie you’ve ever seen in your entire life.

#last night me and my friends watched dirty dancing and the mummy 1 and 2 all back to back #if you even care #also to clarify #the mummy 2 has a lot of good bits but it just doesn’t flow AT ALL for some reason especially after the first one #it feels a lot more dry and forced #i love the iconic evil power couple and I love that we have more ardeth #but tragically the O’Connells have no chemistry with their son #like I never believe that they are a family #and more importantly abd tragically … they massacred my boy Jonathan …#because in the first movie Jonathan is the comic relief BUT HE DOES THINGS he is somewhat competent!!!#in the sequel if you take away Jonathan the plot practically doesn’t changes and it angers me #anyway #at least Mr Eko from Lost is here #the mummy
