Class of '09 - Jeckole Starter Fic Recs

I saw a post on Twitter earlier asking for fic recommendations for Class of '09 and thought this would be an easy place to start. Disclaimer, most of the ones here are Jeckole since it's pretty much all I read.

Notes are my own thoughts and feelings and don't completely give a full overview of the plot, if at all. You'll just have to check them out yourself ;)

drinking lightning by strictlypudding - If you were a newcomer in the Co09 fandom and wanted to search for the most Kudos'ed fic out of all of them, this would be the first to pop up and I can see why. It's a pretty good starter fic for anyone getting into Jeckole's dynamic and the author's prose when I first read it was top notch.

We're too hot to be best friends without sexual tension by Memeframe - This is a series of Jeckole fics compiled of 8 one/two-shots that follow Nicole and Jecka from high school up to adulthood. When I first read this, I had a fun time and thought the author captured that Co09 flavor when writing Jecka and Nicole's dynamic together.

Fuck Life, Fuck the Universe, and Fuck Everything by Progman - I might be biased when giving my thoughts on this because I read it during a time when this VN threw me back to a time I do not like to revisit, but this fic slow-roasted me while I was marinating in my depression and I love the banter and dialogue wrote not just with Nicole and Jecka, but also among the other characters as well. This fic explores more of the growing codependent nature between Nicole and Jecka as well as do a deep dive on Nicole's depression. I also really liked the slow burn of how her being on meds made her slightly less fucked up, but still emphasized that it didn't completely fix her.

Inscriptions by Kayleen756894 - Similar to the one above by Progman, Inscriptions by Kayleen absolutely fucking decimated me then put me back together. As others have mentioned in her comments of this fic, it feels like a crescendo that just keeps getting better and better. For those people who really love the take on Nicole's character not actually being a sociopath and more of someone who's suffers from extreme depression, this is definitely the fic for you.

Jeckole by Anonymous - This is a series of one-shots (some related, some not) that are about Jecka and Nicole in various settings. Currently, there are about 6 works in it, and I unfortunately don't know who the author is since they left themselves as anonymous, but I love the way each one is written. For someone who's looking for more light-hearted, easy-going Jeckole one-shots, this could be a good place to start too.

Youth Without Youth by WorthlessPlant - Another Jeckole series, but by AO3 user, WorthlessPlant. I had fun reading these when I needed something light-hearted. There's only 2 works in it, but it follows a scenario where Nicole and Jecka adopt a kitten and raise it together.

Astraphobia by Doodlenova - Oh, if I remember correctly, this was probably the very first Jeckole fic I read when first getting into Co09. I really love this fic and it's take on how the gunshot from the mall cop in Re-Up affected both of them (through a simple thunderstorm). There aren't too many fics out there that take into account how Nicole would be functioning after getting shot in the leg, so this was a nice treat along with Jecka coping with the aftermath of watching her friend nearly die.

Shared Values by Progman - This was written after Flip Side, so you might get an idea of what's going on and how the direction will be steered the farther you read. It starts off slow, almost angsty, but once it gets to a certain part, the vibes and energy just amps up and goes back to that usual Co09 snappy dialogue and humor that I, personally, thought could've fit in the actual game.

Nothing But Poison by VeezChaos - If you love angst and no happy endings for Jeckole, this is the fic for you. I had to emphasize that in the beginning for anyone looking for more fluffy, leaning more on the happy-ending side of things. But I personally thought this fic was written well when exploring the descent of Jecka's mental state after Nicole takes her own life.

So Long, Goodbye by SCP_Stella_Eva - I really liked the scenario for this one, especially since there aren't many fics out there that really go over Nicole's feelings and relationship with her dad before he killed himself. Despite taking place while both Jecka and Nicole are both adults, the dialogue between them still maintains some of that flavor of their younger selves.

And that's it so far. I've read way more than this, but the list would've been way too long, and I did specify this was more of a starter fic-rec list. I haven't read some well-known ones yet like MentalCrit09's Nicole-Divergent series since I'm still catching up on Progman's series. I have read Nothing's New by eklpx but since it was Explicit, I was planning on making a separate fic rec list that only has NSFW works (whenever I'm not lazy lol).

So...you're questioning if you are aromantic and/or asexual...

...and you don't know where to start.

Well, here! This is my compilation of all the things that helped me figure myself out. I would adore it if other arospec and/or acespec individuals added on as well.

Resources/Research:

1. Forums

Being able to talk to people about my experiences was really helpful and validating. Being able to see other people's experiences that were similar to mine was also so helpful.

For asexuality, there's AVEN. There's a specific section for questioning people as well. For that section, I recommend only posting, not reading other people's posts. There's also this FAQ section with a ton of helpful information about asexuality in general. Overall, I suggest browsing the site, and posting any questions you have.

(small disclaimer: in my time there, I found AVEN to be pretty unfriendly to aromantic people. I have it on good authority that the problem has been solved, but I want to be honest that my personal experience wasn't all sunshine and rainbows)

For aromanticism, there's Arocalypse. It's a smaller forum than AVEN, but also supportive and helpful. There's an Anonymous Q&A section, where you can post without an account, as well as a Discussion section where you can learn more about aromanticism. There's also a non-forum FAQ, with additional resources linked at the top. Similarly to AVEN, stay off the posts of other questioning people, browse the site, and post any questions you have.

If neither of those work for you, I recommend Reddit, but only as a last resort. The moderation there can be interesting, and there's a lot of in-fighting. But, in my opinion, it's important to have that space if you need it.

2. Videos

Seeing people talk about being asexual/aromantic is really helpful for solidifying that they are real things for real people, not just concepts on the internet. They also provide the information in a more streamlined way than forums do.

My number one recommendation for this is Ash Hardell's series on asexuality and aromanticism. There's 3 parts (One Two Three). There's a ton of good information there, presented by asexual and aromantic people.

My second recommendation is to just go to Youtube and look up "am I asexual" or "am I aromantic". This will pull up a lot of videos of people talking through their own experiences.

3. Articles

If you want to read about asexuality and/or aromanticism, it's better to use the forums. Articles about us are often outdated or include incorrect information. Similarly, the forums are awful at giving information about what sexual and/or romantic attraction is.

That's what articles are more useful for. There's a ton out there describing the experience of sexual and romantic attraction, as well as the development of it in humans. That's very helpful for figuring out if you actually feel it or not.

When looking stuff up about sexual/romantic attraction, make sure you use sources you can trust. Sexual attraction is an area where pseudoscience thrives. If you don't know the source, this site is great for checking if it is factual and unbiased.

Non-Research Stuff To Do:

1. Write down your thoughts

One of the issues I ran into while questioning is that I would figure something out, then a few weeks later, doubt myself on that. So I started writing stuff down. This both helps you remember stuff, and verifies that it happened.

2. Just try out the label(s)

Just use them. It doesn't hurt anybody, and you can always stop. You can use the umbrella terms acespec and/or arospec, or just use aromantic and/or asexual (which also function as umbrella terms). This will give you a feel for if the label is right for you. Remember, it's okay to be wrong.

3. Seek out positivity

Go find asexual and/or aromantic people who celebrate being asexual and aromantic. It's helpful in feeling comfortable enough to use the label(s).

What Not To Do:

1. Do not read other questioning people's stuff

This isn't helpful, just confusing. Trust me. Read it after you have yourself figured out.

2. Do not go through the microlabels

Going through microlabels is helpful once you know you are acespec and/or arospec. Not before. Put the queer wiki down. It won't save you.

3. Do not go into spaces that focus on issues

This also isn't helpful, just upsetting. These spaces are helpful for people who are confident in their identities. Not for people questioning.

Other:

Go through the notes! Hopefully, people have added stuff!

Oh wow, It's a bit hard to pick just a few because I've read a lot of SVSSS fics in the past few years, but here's the ones that came to mind/ I've been thinking about recently! (I'm excluding ones that I already recommended this week for the ask game, you can check out my "ask fish" tag to see those. Edit: I made a "fish recommends" tag too.)

Qijiu:

"i bury my voice for you" (series) by lithali. Space opera AU, Shen twins, everyone is aliens, intense qijiu longing, SJ’s unending font of angsty internal dialogue, and kinky qijiu sex feat transmasc SJ. I need more people to read this one!!!!!!!

"Palimpsest" by Azzandra. YQY loses his memories and tries to piece together how SJ fits in his life from what others tell him. I adore this fic, it's a really interesting examination of both their characters and why they love each other intrinsically. 

"You Were You, And I Was I" by MissMegh. Deaged qijiu being feral, clinging, and horny teenagers. Super cute and funny!

"what thing it is (that people most desire)" by Jinxed_Ink. A vaguely medieval AU based on an Arthurian legend where SJ disguises himself and blackmails YQY into marrying him for Revenge. SJ has Absolutely No Other Motive There. I didn't know how much I needed this particular brand of qijiu marriage shenanigans until I read it.

"I'm just as exposed (when i take off my clothes)" by owoxian. Qijjiu being weird and horny (as they deserve), being misinterpreted as abuse by accidental voyer MQF. 

"The Sect Leader’s Husband" by AMereDream. Canon divergence where YQY came back for SJ on time, and instead of becoming the QJP head disciple, SJ married YQY and became the power behind the throne. Cute power couple qijiu!!!

"The Heart Is A Sword" by Moonsheen. A-Su, a boy who is a sword, the emperor's weapon, is appointed personal attendant to the emperor's new consort Shen. PIDW post-canon.

Bingqiu:

"Rehearsal" by Prim_the_Amazing. Binghe, fresh from the abyss, uses a dream realm to run through all the ways his reunion with SQQ might go. This one is basically pure angst but it's SO good.

"How to Meal Prep - Household Tips, Recipes, and Ideas for a Better-Organised Life!" By x_los. Character study of 17-year-old preeminent housewife Binghe. It's cute, it's weird, and it's terribly tragic on account of the Dramatic Irony.

"Futility in Practice" by TGP. Time loop fic with a REALLY cool style of story telling. Repetitive but iterative text from Binghe, the non-looping character's POV as SQQ desperately tries to find the right answer to end the loop. Very angsty!

"it's not gay if you don't touch my ass ... unless?" by azunshi. Modern AU, SY wants to have sex with Binghe but ofc that would be gay, so instead he puts a cocksleeve up his ass for binghe to fuck instead. This fic is so deeply stupid (positive/complimentary), I love it, it's the exact brand of unhinged this whole fandom is slowlyy becoming.

"Songs of a Wayfarer" by foxflowering. Ballet AU with young prodigy LBH and his teacher SY! 

Binggeyuan:

"to find an intended (a bit unintentionally)" by nyoomerr. This is the classic. Wandering cultivator SY accidentally doms Bingge into being a good boy. 

"broken glass, swept away" by aaeph. Modern AU, SY buys a home only to find it haunted by the centuries old ghost of a demonic emperor. Bingge tries so hard to push SY away over and over, but SY is a stubborn man.

Jiuyuan:

"Jump To The Left" by ValiantBarnes (Cimila). I'm not sure quite how to describe this one without spoilers, but essentially, older Shen Yuan finds and saves SJ in the era he was following WYZ. SY takes SJ as a traveling companion/sort of disciple. CW for mentions of incest/psuedo-incest (no actual incest though).

"Immortal Shen Does Not Do Online Deliveries" by Anonymous. SY, a young cultivator and scholar, goes to ask the reclusive immoral master SQQ for an elixir. SQQ toys with him a little <3. Mean SQQ and flustered SY.

Gen/ No Ship:

"Rat Trap" by Azaisya. LQG & SJ. LQG and SJ are kidnapped, they get truth serum-ed, and they're forced to confront their different background and conflicting morals and methods that stem from that. I think this is my favorite execution of "LQG learns SJ's backstory and Has Regrets", because their conflict is explicitly framed as a class divide rather than just misunderstandings, and it addresses the flaws in both their resulting worldviews to some extent. 

"Sit With Your Soul" by Tossawary. SJ & SY. This is a fusion with His Dark Materials, but no knowledge is required. Basically everyone has an animal companion that's connected to and represents their soul, and SY transmigrates into SQQ's.

I am in no way new here but it's been so long since I have used this blog to the point that it has - sadly - descended into an early grave. So in an attempt to revive it and be more consistent, I'm going to reintroduce myself to you all.

Hello, everyone.

My name is Lime and I am an aspiring writer (mainly high fantasy). I'm 22 years old and I'm in my 5th year as a med student, with hopes of landing a position in either cardiology, surgery or general practice especially emergency and trauma. I live in Cairo, Egypt and as I have said before to disperse the false stereotypes, no, I do not live in a tent. No, I don't live next to the pyramids. Yes, I have wifi and all the modern things you have.

My hobbies include portrait drawing and reading. I have been an avid reader ever since I could hold books and pretend that I was reading because I couldn't actually read just yet. My TBR is at a completely unrealistic number of 4.5k and growing as I have no favorite genre and I bury myself in books as a somewhat unhealthy way to deal with my depression, anxiety and borderline.

I have a LOT of WIPs - wouldn't exactly call them that as I never really started outlining any of them, I just started writing random scenes but I plan on working on one of them fully in the upcoming 5 years (yes I have set a timeline for myself), my most probable decision will be to work on Extinct Galactic but I am torn between burning my greatest card as my first book instead of testing the waters with a simpler, milder idea that would be more acceptable and help me grow my base as a writer.

I initially started this writeblr to share my love and knowledge with everyone here and this reason still stands to this day but we will add to it "the motivation to keep moving forward and improving". I will do my best to post daily, to share how life is going on, to update you on how far I have come in goals that I will be also sharing with you guys.

What is a Big Bang? - A Big Bang is a large scale writing event which functions as a collaboration between writers and artists.

How does it work? - The writer creates a fanfic which reaches a certain minimum word count (in this case 5000 words) over a set period of time. At the same time, they are paired with an artist, who in turn creates an artwork based off of the writers Big Bang submission. At the end of the writing period, all works are posted to Ao3 as part of the KPTS Big Bang 2023 Collection and everyone will be able to promote their works on social media .

Can I be writer and artist? - Sure! .

Can I use an existing WIP? - Sorry, but no. Unless your WIP is less than 25% of the minimum word count (1250 words) and has not been shared anywhere - the point is to challenge yourself within the time frame to create something new! .

Can I continue an existing series? - Sure! So long as the Big Bang piece can be read as a standalone (i.e. the reader does not need to read your other works in that series first) then you're welcome to write a sequel work! .

i am going to clear something up that i have been getting anons about sprinkled through this past week and truthfully, i did not want to address it because the subject is petty, i hate drama, and we have all been there and it fills me with a great deal of anxiety that makes me want to delete everything when it happens, but i lie and say it doesn't bother me because i hope i can trick myself into believing it.

other than like the four people i talk to here, whom i got to know when things were a little on the brighter side, i barely even talk to anyone. it makes me very anxious to because of stuff like this, or maybe you're a friend one day and suddenly you're considered an enemy or a threat the next, or after a series of people blocking you/unfollowing you, you get the stomach ache inducing feeling that you're being badmouthed somewhere, i just can't do it. i can't talk to people. i'm trying to work on it because there are also really wonderful people on here, and i'd love to let them know how much i enjoy their work and writing without wanting to throw up because i feel as though i'll be a screenshot in some groupchat and made fun of if i do, i also know that's not always the case. and i really am trying to work on my anxiety about that.

hey! this is a blog dedicated to archiving character interactions in the ryu ga gotoku series. ideally, this can be a resource for anyone looking to find particular exchanges or checking characterization. the focus will be on non-cutscene interactions, but some cutscenes may be included. my hope is that i can begin with major characters (i.e. kiryu and haruka) and branch out to minor characters (i.e. pocket circuit fighter)

DETAILS:

1. posts will be tagged with names of the characters involved and the game(s) the screenshot(s)/video(s) originate from.

if the relationships are particularly frequent/prominent, then i may have a tag like "kiryu and date" for their interactions specifically.

if you're looking for something, check the featured tags.

if you still can't find something, feel free to reach out to me, and i'll see what i can do.

if there is a common merged name for that dynamic (i.e. a ship name, though some people use these to refer to a dynamic generally), then it's likely i'll include that as well, regardless of whether the content is romantic or my feelings on that pairing, so that people can find what they're looking for more easily. if i make exceptions, it will be in extreme instances, and i reserve judgement on those. please don't ride my ass for this, i don't want to have to block you. this is for everyone. play nice.

2. i will be accepting submissions and requests for particular characters and/or interactions, etc.

use the submissions to send in screenshots/footage, and use asks for requests/other communication.

submissions are especially welcome for hard to access dialogue (i.e amon victory dialogue) or games that are hard to access (i.e. kenzan or the kurohyou games).

3. submissions will be accepted for all games under the rgg banner, but i will likely be unable to fulfill requests for games i haven't played/don't have access to.

in such cases, i will likely put out requests to the broader community to see if someone can provide what you're looking for. i'd suggest not making such asks anonymously so i can @ you if i get it, but it's up to you. i'll try to keep track, but forgive me if i don't.

currently, i have played 0-7 and LAD ishin. i have the judgement duology, but i have not played them yet.

6. i'm open to suggestions on organization or content, especially right now, since the blog is very fresh. it's a community resource, and it exists for us.

i may take away this feature or not implement suggestions based on my judgement in the future, but right now it's all good, and i don't think i'll stop it unless shit gets really caustic or out of hand.

7. there will likely be a delay on new games, and i don't know how quickly i will put out content.

i expect it will be a very gradual process, but we'll see.

8. i'll add tags for characters to the tags i use as i post.

9. some characters/dynamics may be difficult to tag. in such cases, i'll try to come up with a system for:

types of characters (i.e. "hostess: rina" or "hostess: yuki")

or groups (i.e. "morning glory orphans", "ichigang", "shinsengumi", "majima construction")

if there's nothing else, i'll likely put the game if it's a one-off character (i.e. "mayumi (yakuza 5)")

this might be a bit shaky, but i'll try to make it all very clear and send out updates if/when i change things.

10. i might end up tagging certain things "archive: x" so i don't clog up popular tags (i.e. "archive: kazumaji"), but we'll see.

11. some posts may require threads. i will tag the final posts in these "🧵" to indicate it is the final version, and i will edit the top of the chain with a link to its finished version for user convenience.

my hope is that this'll make it easier to find the full post without having to dig through reblogs, especially if the post gets popular (because people may not reblog the whole thing, and may reblog an earlier version without the link. which is totally fine btw).

if a post gets popular, i may add another tag called "popular", to make it easier to search for these posts specifically. search for this along with 🧵 or character(s) and game(s) for the best results finding older, popular posts.

12. various other infrastructure tags:

"text only" for pure transcriptions (i.e. transcribing a cutscene, no screenshots)

"screenshot" for posts that have images (these will include alt ID transcriptions, but "text only" is intended for screen reader use. i do not use screen readers myself, so if there's anything i can do to improve that experience, i would love to know)

"video" for posts with videos, which will have transcriptions under a readmore (and will likely have text only transcriptions, which i'll try to link to such posts)

"cinematic"" if the content is from a fully animated cinematic (i.e. ones you can rewatch from the menu)

"cutscene" for those scenes that are mandatory to progress the plot and often happen between cinematics, but are posed in the typical dialogue format (i.e. scrolling text in boxes)

"overworld" for dialogue that occurs in other circumstances (i.e. speaking to an npc, substory dialogue)

"objective" for objectives located on the pause menu, which are characterized as the player character's inner monologue

"substory" for content from substories (these will likely also separately be tagged "substory #: title"). if they are from a particular minigame's line of substories, i'll tag them something like "mesuking" to distinguish them

"maps" for maps

"menus" for store inventory and bar/restaurant menus

"location ref" for references of particular locations, especially interiors (i.e. tojo HQ)

"location: x" for various locations, i.e. serena, purgatory, prison, restaurants, etc

"inventory" for items (corresponding to the game's classification of them)

"equipment" for weapons and armor (corresponding to the game's classification of them)

"abilities" for ability descriptions, categories, users, and costs

"messages" for emails, pager messages, etc (excluding phone calls, which have their own tag)

"phone calls" for phone calls, both cutscene and overworld

"misc" for other stuff, in case you're having trouble

I don’t have an AO3 account just yet so I don’t think I can comment directly on Space and Time Takes Violent, Angry, Things (and Makes Them Kind), but I just want to say that this fic has become one of, if not my FAVORITE fics of all time! As someone who loves 11, Amy, and Rory but wishes they had a better arc in series 6-7a, I love love love seeing them get the stories and character growth they deserve. And Torchwood being included! River/Tosh! The Doctor apologizing! Family bonding! Angst with a happy ending! This fic has checked off every single one of my boxes and I love it with my entire heart. I keep rereading the chapters posted and it just gets better! I can tell that this fic will be one of those permanently engraved in my brain and I will be rereading it for YEARS to come. I can’t thank you enough for writing it. Please take this ask as a billion kudos and all of the hugs in the world <33

First off, I literally shrieked with delight when I saw this in my inbox (and then proceeded to shed a small tear). You are so very sweet and this means so much to me I cannot tell you how much I appreciate this. It means the absolute world to hear that you're enjoying the character growth and the Torchwood additions and the way I took the Eleven/Amy/Rory relationship and the family bonding (all of which were big goals for me). Also to hear that you're rereading it is the biggest compliment in the world as a writer, just behind the fact that this will be "permanently engraved in your brain" or that this is one of your favorite fics of all time! When I tell you I am going to be riding this high for the next couple of days, I mean it!

Lastly, the next fic is going to reveal something I've been foreshadowing from almost the beginning of this series (it might be my favorite plot twist I've ever written), so I hope to hear if you like it/if you think the set-up pays off well.

Especially Twitter (who are we kidding? it's always going to be Twitter :P) because that place just keeps getting worst on top of already being infested with the vilest of scumbags. Not saying that tumblr is any better cuz it's not but yea, Twitter is still the worst, bar none. Also a reminder that a bunch of faceless randos who hide behind anonymity will never be worth your time, emotional health or your eyes. Chances are they're a bunch of radicals or delulus who haven't truly experienced enough of the real world to be able to separate their crazy paranoia fantasies from reality.

There's a reason Otona Precure is aimed at adults and not the unhinged shippers or anti-shippers or whatever.

I mean, what is there to gripe about here? Coco is the primary target of the bashing simply based on the shallow fact that he's a man and older than Nozomi. That's it, nothing else.

They don't take into account that he's not the type of person to take advantage of her, that nothing over the PG-13 rating happened between them since the moment they met in the original seasons (because this spin-off is still attached to Precure series and you know the writers are responsible enough to not allow any sort of explicit content in the story). Nor do they care that his proposal is the very first time he's ever confessed his feelings to Nozomi (and vice versa), who IS a full-fledged woman and more than capable of making her own decisions and choosing her own happiness.

Haters wanna hate because frankly, they're not good at anything else but projecting all the worst parts about themselves onto a harmless piece of fiction. Why else would they hang on social media all day with nothing good to say?

I'll do my best to answer! Under a read more, because I'm terribly long-winded.

RESOURCES As far as resources go, you're welcome to check out this post, which gives a general list of the many places I went online to do much of my research. As mentioned, that list isn't complete. At some point, I'll definitely try to expand that list, but some of the information is a bit proprietary only in that some of my research has a bit to do with things that will happen in the sequel(s), and I would definitely like to maintain those mysteries for now.

Definitely of note is that I also traversed SubReddits and Quora posts as well—under the assumption that the posts/responses were in good faith. There's nothing better than delving into actual accounts of people in the situations that I depicted, although I definitely felt at times that I was infringing on something private. I suppose internet anonymity sort of alleviated a touch of guilt 😅.

LITERATURE As far as pivotal literature. Ehm . . . I barely read published fictional literature anymore. As in, up until five years ago, I had a ten-year dry spell where I hadn't touched a book for recreational purposes. The most recent books I've read in the last 5 or so years are audiobooks of classics, and it's been about 3 years since I've listened to any of them again. For Blackout, I downloaded/read a lot of journal studies or text books. I'm so ashamed, hah! In that vein, even the amount of fanfiction I've read over the years has gotten smaller and smaller; I literally just reread/re-listen to my favorite ones over and over again, even if they weren't the best written. I blame my hyper fixations.

I still want to create a mini 'suggested reading' list for CM fics (which will suspiciously be heavily Reid-centric and suspiciously whumpy), so I don't want to drop any Criminal Minds fics here yet. But on that, I did mention one in Chapter 16: Guilt endnotes, so you're welcome to read that CM fic.

Okay, yes, shut up me—sorry. Again, I'm not the best person to go to if you want a quick answer, hah! Here's one that is not Criminal Minds related that—well . . . the first book made me quite literally manic. Manic. If you're going through some mental stuff at the moment, I don't suggest you read it yet, because I was going through some things the first time I read it, and oof. Or, I dunno, if you're a glutton for pain (like me), go ahead and read it anyway. Back when I was still heavily on FFN, I wrote hundreds of thousands of words in reviews for this fic. I began creating a comic for it that I posted here on Tumblr (years and years ago—it still exists because I don't have the heart to delete the blog). In other words, I'm a die-hard fan of this series and will always, always recommend it to people, whether they're reading fandom blind or they're familiar with its source. I'm currently rereading the whole series again—for the umpteenth time. This fic has 100%—nay 300%—had a massive influence on my approach to writing, and if you read it I think you'll notice that.

Bad Luck is one of my collabs with a user who left TSP community so now I am left as the only creator listen but they were the ones who came up with the idea for that and Good Luck Charm, which is the fic this one kinda comes from !! We were a bit scared if people would think we agree with Stanley's actions (esp since I was the one who wrote them fihfsoiafsih) but I am glad you like it! And well - we actually discussed it and haha no they are not good they are far from good in that au, what we intended to do was (SPOILER: DON'T READ IF YOU DON'T WANT TO KNOW IF I EVER WRITE IT) that Stanley would confess to Narrator that he drugged him and Narrator would be very mad but since he got bitten and it was found out that he was omega, he would lose his job since the world is omegaphobic and Stanley would only later learn just of how much he fucked up. But since the damage is done and Leo would not want him to have easy way out, they kinda stay together and Stanley develops and anxiety disorder. They kinda make it all work and let themselves explore the feelings but Leo never forgives and good for him, good for that man

Allout Monte and the Series of Unfortunate Entitlements

So how's "your" Arcade shop going?

And contrary to popular belief that this is going to be unfortunately depressing, it actually isn't. In fact the radically stark opposite I happen to be all giddy with joy and excitement because not only the coup de grace finally dropped today, it has dropped, and it has become the best day of my life despite living through the Final Season of America.

Now if you have not been following along lately, that is definitely okay because I will be dropping what you need to know, and provide you with my works that I put together during that time.

Previously, I've covered a goofy goober going by the name, Allout Monte. "Renowned" Mod Author who happened to not only be the laziest writer known to man, but he is someone who resorts to AI slop, name calling, and racial slurs to never admit that he is either a deadbeat or a clown, or straight up wrong.

And I've covered his schizo alt, Sneedclave Anonymous, who primarily was used to yap all the schizo things you can imagine like threatening suicide.

Now originally, my first exposes were supposed to be the final nail in the coffin of Allout Monte, now for the most part, I was half right. After the Sneedclave Expose, he would proceed to either deactivate or lock his whole entire account hiding his posts and everything... for a few days. Then coming back forgetting that they are always open to the general public no matter what. But that's okay though, because he's been pretty much non-existent for the past few days and weeks. However, news spread out that Allout Monte, Krimson Graey, and the rest of his hate campaign flop gang would rather avoid responsibilty rather than taking it and proceeding to throw everything under the rug for the low, low cost of a salvaged dead reputation and fuck all nothing and a dead mod project.

Unfortunately, he will learn today that it will not be that easy.

Now I was minding my business one day at my lovely workplace wondering how to salvage such a day like this, until I decided to look at Twitter, normally I had because unfortunately Twitter is a cesspool, and about the only way that I don't need to vibe check Allout any more than he needs or deserves to be vibe checked. And then on the corner of that little screen I see that I had a new DM notification. Now admittedly, I actually did anticipate Allout/Sneedclave DMing with the slurs at the ready not only just to have a memoir for the ratios I've given him, but to just have more thing to talk about on top of a malding, sobbing cope addiction Allout and the Crew has gotten, on top of of course disabled notifications so I had no idea what was going on or was even aware that someone DM'd me...

But I ended up being met with this.

After seeing a sentence like that, in that context, everything that made my day the day that it was at that moment... did not exist, and it sent an entire motivation surge for the rest of that day. And immediately, I reached out to him at the earliest convenience.

Now let me tell you Allout Monte, that in this short amount of time, you'll be regretting avoiding responsibility once you hear what I have to say, and what an "old mate" of yours told me. In which, for the basics, I will be calling them that from now on. Not just because Anonymous Sources deserve to be Anonymous Sources for the selfless work they do in the field of journalism, but unlike you, Krimson Graey, and every other goofy goober in the Ashfall Hate Flop, I have an obligation to protect these people and helping them doing the right thing. Now with that out of the way, let us talk about your Series of very, very, very Unfortunate Entitlements.

Let's talk about your first Unfortunate Entitlement of you working under the Forums Sugarbombed! What I once figured was something along the lines of a community forum that was somehow tied to the Frontier in some shape or form and it turned out not to be the case. Surgarbombed! was a Forum Group dedicated to the hype of Fallout 4, primarily, but was generally a Fallout dedicated forum- that I also did not know that MrMattPlays ran that forums surprisingly alongside somebody literally just named "Potato." (Relatable.) Now the forums isn't something to take note of (at least for the first few minutes) but the most important part is your "old mate." Because from your "old mate" that has known you for a full decade now, they themselves were moderators of the ordeal, turned admin who worked alongside you with this forum. But knowing you now, "worked alongside" is probably the overstatement of your heaving incompetence. Because sure you might've been there from the start in 2015 all the way to 2017, but why co-opt it as your own. Why steal the credit saying that you founded it- in fact, on that topic, let's talk about your non-existent contributions that you never put a single cent in any of the servers active at the time while all the payment was funded through Potato's Pocket and all the Patreon Supporters that dedicated their time and effort into their forums alongside the money that was being paid for towards the people actually doing their jobs. And when it did die down and nobody was running the servers I am brutally curious as to how many times you tried to relaunch it, which according to my calculations would've been a grand total of:

Eight.

Years.

Eight whole years, while you were yapping out of your ass about being the founder, when you knew nothing about any form of web hosting, or developer who can't even develop a goddamned thing. And you've consistently shown nothing for those eight years trying to resurrect that forums which eventually devolved into a Discord Server a few years later.

A Discord Server full of Nazis. Racists. And every heinous fiend you can find across the network- and in some shape, somehow you still brag about being the founder that kept it alive.

Which, on top of all this hilariously implied that you've always been a liar, a cheat, and a yellow lizard who had been avoiding responsibility his entire life.

Let us also talk about a supposed attempt at a Podcast "The Ham Radio." A Podcast you ripped the name of from Mr Matty Plays himself who had his for a whopping ten years. How you would do anything just to prop yourself in the "Fallout Community" of your own wack ass fantasy land head, and by anything that falls under the category of content theft, and being a complete raging asshole for attention. Which is so hilarious since your only claim to fame was having a single interview with a Fallout 2 and New Vegas Writer Chris Avalone and having it mentioned on a daily gaming news show on Rooster Teeth that was apparently ass.

Let's actually talk about your active Patreon that you can find here, where you steal all the credit and act that holier than thou act of keeping it together when you've continued to contribute nothing to it at all- with no posts, no thanks, no supporters, and most importantly... no bitches.

Which explains so much actually, it explains why you make alt, after alt, after alt, after alt making paper doll stans that trot around with the only coding in their program being the hawk tuah treatment. That would explain so much why on your alt of How 2 Exist Pranks and Tutorials you resorted to AI Slop and heavily rely on ChatGPT to make your insults which consists of three different variations of closeted transphobed fursuits. It would also explain so much about why you decided to edit your own Wiki Page abandoned for years after your flop of a hate campaign where you just suck yourself off and basically lie to everyone once again about having Avalone being your "frequent guest" when in reality you only talked to him once and

Nobody. Gave. A. Fuck. About it.

Now last, but confidently not least, I originally wanted to save this last part for another time. At a better convenience, a better time, and a better mood.

However, you decided to not only dox an owner of an archive channel, but stalk, heckle, and attempt a honeycomb at the owner's co-worker. At their workplace. So this last bit, fits the punishment of a crime you commited.

Let's talk about that Arcade Store you "own." As a matter of fact, an Arcade Store owned by your father, at your home state, that you just felt so deeply inclined to steal the credit of calling yourself a self made man through it all. Which would actually explain so much about how much of an uninspired content thievin' hack you became, and how much you just beg for that attention of being the greatest that you will never be, because your father either believed you to be the biggest disappointment that you turned out to be, had been, and will always be for the rest of your wretched life, or he couldn't be bothered enough to care about his disappointment desensitized to the reality that you will never improve and only fade away into oblivion like the vapid clown you are.

Be lucky, I have the mercy of sparing the details, because it would be a shame if somebody had got a hold of that number, called the front desk, and explain to the employees that their son of an owner committed the crime of stalking, libel, and hate crimes all in one little package of an entitled husk of cockroaches and salt water lined on top of a throne of thorns and dead rats. But one man's trash is another's treasure. And the peace has already been said.
