i think it’s hilarious chuuoku developed this hypnosis canceller when the mics already had a kill switch built into them lmao
#this is vee speaking#it’s a reason i think there may be a third factor rio and co are going to have to tackle#but i’ll be tucking this thought away after this lol since it might be too early to assume#like i’m sure rei knows chuuoku was trying to develop other stuff on the side#which might be why rei’s trying to direct ichiro to focusing on the true hypnosis mic instead of his mom maybe#like presumably the real true hypnosis mics will stay offline because of rei’s intervention#but this mysterious third factor is a hurdle because it was developed for otome’s complete subjugation of humanity#it hasn’t quite worked out well as evidenced by iojaku’s mental state as he was the test guinea pig for development#and idk maybe that mental discord will attract honobono into using it#since it brings people into that state of discord and anguish and that’s what she wants lol#iojaku even gained some of his mental facilities back after reuniting with both rio and kubiki showing bonds still temper the effects#(and they’re a trio interestingly enough lol like the way the true hypnosis mic takes three to wield)#but again it’s too early to tell so i’m shelving this one lol
