hot take but you ever think about how nuclear power 'pollution' (radiation) is substantially easier to detect real time and cost effectively than any fossil fuel? like burning coal or oil or natural gas or whatever produces random aromatic hydrocarbon black sludge that you now have to sift through to find any particular chemical that can be identified out of thousands of millions of possible chemicals that could exist from the random assorted parts that were shoved into an oxidation reaction to get some chemical energy out of them, versus an energy source that has to be developed in math, and particularly physics, and at that, by far more than it was in the 60's-80's when civil nuclear power was actually seen as viable, but oh no this cloud of scarey dust that yeah, god yeah, radiation is terrifying but it's easy to detect, you can spend 100 dollars on amazon and get a broad spectrum alpha to gamma ionizing radiation detector so i'm like, what kind of price could a large body get hundreds of those at yknow? like radiation again, is scary, but you don't need a week in a laboratory with mass spectroscopy to know you are being irradiated, just a specific device, and in my personal opinion if you have any modicum of worry about needing it, you probably already have one on you, or god forbid a disposable dosimeter that are built into radiology badges, radiation is scary because you can't feel it but, the elements found in nature are explored enough to harness in a reasonably safe and, in this world, a profoundly positive way regarding emissions, i hate that ~~~~~aaa radiation~~~~~ is what's stopping it

Yknow, back when everyone was making those what if fics about if Lilith had accidentally killed Luz on the bridge

We didn't know enough about her character to truly gage her morality and how she'd feel about it. Like, just how guilty would she be at the time

And now we've got our full picture of Lilith, she's childish and was blind sighted, but the people that were pointing out the emperor was a sketchy, manipulative and abusive dude were right

And the assumption that the emperor would throw lilith under the bus would be right, belos couldn't risk his image.

Lilith would be in shock, not only had she revealed a secret that if any other person had learned it, would've disowned her, but five seconds later she would've killed one of her sisters kids

Eda would never forgive her or ever be okay again.

And Lilith would be wracked with guilt for killing a child, taking things too far and doing all of that in the name of the emperor.. things wouldn't end well for her.

It's a scarey scenario because belos would've instigated it. (Although i still firmly believe we shouldnt "uwu lilith isnt responsible for her actions the thing on the bridge or cursing Eda.)

But the emperors coven destroys alot of people's sanity. She was definitely hanging on a thread through season one, just like Hunter and kimimora now..

She got out and is doing so much better..

But if Eda's magic had given out a second sooner or she'd pushed too hard, the clawthorne family would be heading in a much much darker direction

he’s gotten really good at it since he had to start hiding from murder robots... but even before then he was never a super fidgety person so he could sit very still !

he’s good at pretending everything’s fine when it’s all actually Rather Shit so. yeah pretty easy

thinking mostly.... sometimes he’ll talk to someone and drift off from there but it depends on who’s on lookout or how quiet the group has to stay

he tries to remain suspicious of people he meets but at heart he’s too trusting for his own good tbh.... he does try to hold off on trusting stangers these days but hes still a little soft

yeah pretty easy. like it’s easy enough to get him to trust you in the first place but once you do something to fuck that up then good luck getting it back lmao

i made him for my comic which. i will start one day fdklgjdlkjgd..... also hes just fun to develop ! i gave him a bunch of traits i rlly like and also i made him like bugs a lot so. i am biased

uh. needed characters for the comic hehe.....i cant remember the exact process i went thru when making him?? i wanted someone who was close to astrid/who she could trust, plus i had the idea for a backstory (i think. like i said i cant remember my exact process)

not really, i came up with the concept before i actually made his character

ppl who dont know him tned to see him as kinda intimidating bc he’s tall & big so he takes up a lot of space. plus its common knowledge that he lashes out sometimes when he has episodes so ppl who dont know him tend to steer clear but hes actually a big softie !! he doesnt see himself as that scary and he doesnt understand where it comes from

they both tend to like each other pretty well !! altho he doesnt like dogs much... especially the big ones. theyre scarey :(
