giving neopronouns to my favs because i want to spite that person i saw on pinterest who was bitching about when people do that. idc if any of this is ooc. the point is to spite the fun police not to be in-character >:3c (i mean obvs the neos i choose are gonna be reflective of the chars and their theming/personalities but yk what i mean i think)

venti - im gonna be honest he would use literally any pronouns ever (even ancient ones no one has heard of) but to get into specifics: hymn/hymns, breeze/breezeself, and the classic xey/xem.

scara - maybe also uses some form of ancient pronouns considering he's been around a while too! storm/storms very briefly, but then afterwards it's softer stuff perhaps with wind theming as well. gale/gales is the most common one shared.

nagito - briefly considered giving him hope/hopeself but then realized maybe he wouldn't use those? for some sort of self deprecating reasons? like "i'm not the embodiment of hope i couldn't possibly use the word as my own" type stuff. maybe more luck based stuff? chance/chances seems like a neat one, hopefully not too on the nose lolz. xe/xim also seems plausible. and while they aren't neos, i'll throw in it/its too because like. look at this dude. tell me he wouldnt use it/its

tamaki - perhaps also an it/its user? again not a neo but i wanna bring it up anyway. i can't think of any specific themed ones she'd use, aside from maybe something butterfly themed? like flutter/flutters. i think they would lean more into the more nonthemed neos like nim/nimse or vae/vaer.

bakugou - didn't particularly strike me as a neo user at first but tbh? if he found out they existed he would totally pick the "awesome sounding" ones for himself because he's Like That. king/kingself, blast/blasts, and strike/strikes are all neos i could see him using. unrelated but i like the idea of trans/nb bakugou going thru the "naming urself arson" phase because he would 100% do that

kiri - funnily enough the least likely to be a neo user (at least imo) out of the list. if he did use them, i think he would use bro as a neo (similar to how people use it in regular speech. like "bro went to the store." oh god i just remembered the meme associated with phrases like this gjnskdnfjsndn). probably also something like red/reds :D

mizuki - they already canonically use she/they which absolutely rocks, but if they used neos i think she'd use something like frill/frills or meow/meows! also. as a bonus. catkin mizuki.

That’s Tamaki Amajiki to you.

“Hey careful..” he grabs the green tea bottle that almost fall from the edge of the cashier because of your elbow.

It’s Saturday morning and the 98475 convenience store visit with Tamaki. You guys were bestfriend since the elementary and been living in the same neighborhood till now you both are in senior high. You texted him this morning to ask where is he but turns out he’s just at where you at. The convenience store.

There were never any secret that can come through maki, he knows you as well as you know him. You both talk about everything, ranging from academic stuff, chicken and egg debate, school gossips (though he’s still pretty hesitant bout it), aliens, and many other things. Nevertheless, there is one single thing you both haven’t ever mentioned or talked about and it is how your stare, and his stare on you, start to last longer than usual.

“Oops hehe, thankyou maki” you grab the green tea bottle and put it in your bag after you got your change from the cashier.

“Do you wanna come to my place maki?” you asked him while he opens the store door for you, holding it a little longer just enough until you come out.

“Is it.. is it okay if I come?” his demeanor never change, shy and considerate to you always.

“What? Of course it’s okay, don’t you wanna borrow my biology note too?”

“Oh right.. I’ll stay for um.. an hour at your place then,”

You look at him and throw a warm smile, he was far the first to make you feel warm anyways. You both walked down the road to your small apartment. He walks slightly behind you just because he likes to look at you and wanna keep an eye on you all the time for safety reasons.

“Ugh finally, that was kinda tiring,” you reach into your pocket for your room key and unlocks the door. It wasn’t particularly sunny but you were just still stiff in the morning since you’ve always been a night owl.

He takes off his slippers near the door and walks slowly into your room, eyes looking more to the floor to avoid intruding your privacy.

“You can sit on my bed if you want maki, chill out it’s not like you’re here the first time,” you giggles a bit without looking at him and god how relieved he is that you’re not looking because he's aware of his cheeks gaining more heat. Even if you said it isn’t his first time there, it always feel like it is to him.

After a quick change of shorts in your bathroom, you dismiss your hair tie (you like to let your hair loose at home) and walk to your desk to find your biology note, still aren’t aware of his lasting gaze at your figure.

“Here, you can return it on Monday,” you offer the note with your soft smile lingering on your face. You then take a seat beside him after he takes the note from your hand. Feeling your sleepiness kicking in again you decide to lay down on your bed while he still sits quietly beside you.

It’s hard to hold it in when you both are this close to each other, both physically and emotionally. So you casually tell it out of your mouth, “Maki turn around,”

He turns his face to you but not his eyes. Not feeling content with it you continue your sentence, “and look at me.”

He tries his best to turn his eyes to you and you can sense his fight with his own nerve but you swear to whatever supreme beings ever existed, your bestfriend looks so beautiful and calming.

“Maki you’re strangely beautiful yk,” you say it in a flat tone to keep the mood not ruined. The last time you said those words to him were probably in the middle school when you both have lunch together, seating in front of each other.

You remember he answered an almost unheard sentence of “thank you” to respond to your flattery at that time. It comes to shock you as you heard a different reply to it now.

“You too..” said him, straight to your eyes.
