#in light of recent online 'success' i feel like this may come off as ungrateful #just wanna say that all the comics i make in this series are written about experiences i felt in 2022 #which was a rough year personally and creatively #and i very luckily don't feel this way anymore #and this also isnt to shame anyone who DOES feel this way #its easy to start to feel like all you are is a vending machine of art #and like thats all you are to people #theres nothing human to you #it can be a bit of a pit #and on some level this damage is self inflicted but social media really doesnt help that feeling #this wont work for everyone but having friends around you who you can talk to about stuff that ISNT art #going outside for dinner #maybe walking around #its good for when you need that feeling to go away even a bit temporarily #youre a human being #not a mindless content creation machine #and i hope anyone who feels like this now can get to a place where they have a healthier relationship with their own work #good luck to all of you #and thank you for reading #comic art #its 10pm #stillindigo art

The placeholder hobby has become painting because I picked up a paint-by-number and also I started a painting a few months back and never finished, so that's what's happening, and it's good for the calming and I can watch Dimension 20 or listen to things while I do it so that's good, however it still doesn't feel great on the wrists and I'm not great at painting. Please! Lmk your suggestions!! I will perish and pass without a creative hobby

Knitting is singlehandedly destroying my wrists, so I need to replace its role with another creative hobby. Please give me any suggestions you may have!

Requirements are:

-Can't destroy my wrists further, at least not as fast as knitting does

-Should be reasonably inexpensive and not too daunting to start

-Calming would be nice

-Textile arts are a plus :)

-Obscure is welcome

sorry im just rambling rn but sometimes i think back on how so much bbh content in dsmp was borderline unwatchable purely bc it was the same recycled jokes of him saying language. or getting mad. and then the dsmp after-hours hit with puffy and foolish where they actually let him banter and it was so entertaining and so funny to listen to. and guess what? they got him to say more innuendos this way too.

its just. the weirdly specific pain of being in the dsmp fandom and knowing your streamer is actually funny but none of the bigger ccs were actually doing anything with it. painful. PAINFUL. qsmp fandom may have treated him worse (imo) but at least they actually saw his personality !!!

so truly frustrating to be staying home for over a week bc i'm sick and not being Quite so sick that laying in bed is all i can handle but being Just sick enough that i hardly have the energy to do anything productive which results in me feeling guilty for having done nothing "useful" this week -- Bad!!!!!

Debating on whether certified freak Godwyn would have fallen in love with Fortissax immediantly upon seeing his 'humanoid' form (the closest elden ring can come to human that is) or immediately fell in love with him upon seeing him full stop and the humanoid disguise was just a plus.

#its sorta implied that the dragons cant speak with humanoids unless they change their form #so when they fought Fortissax either A. changed his form briefly to exchange words or B. didnt change at all and Godwyn was super into what #could have just been a super strong mindless monster. then again the ancient dragons are very graceful looking #Godwyn my beloved freak #also i noticed doing fias quest again (i dont like her but to fight fortissax she is necessary) she says she plans on becoming godwyns-#-companion. and then in fortissaxs remembrance he is also called godwyns companion. maybe im simply ship brained but 😳#insane ramblings #elden ring #godissax #thats their ship name according to me #godwyn the golden #lichdragon fortissax

anyways i always find it more admirable when a fanwork takes an unlikable character and actually uses it to flesh them out or give them a chance to be more nuanced, rather than just bashing them like a piñata every five minutes

#keaton in obt is a good example bc like hes still incredibly hatable in chapter 6 and on the ask blog #woo leans into his shittiness in that moment and even makes it worse by making him explicitly biased against the team #but he’s also given a more fleshed out backstory to explain his actions and it comes out that julius treated him poorly as well #and the ‘’come to jesus’’ moment is a lot sooner so he apologizes and tries to make amends sooner #and its not used to excuse him. just explain why hes like that and that he does need to improve #when i do my own eos interpretation id like to do something similar for chatot. not making him friends w skuntank or anything #i dont just wanna copy what wooled did verbatim after all- but it feels more productive and cohesive than mindless bashing #like i remove the ‘’revoking dinner’’ bit bc i think thats just stupid to start with. we came out of the apple dungeon we HAVE food #or we can go somewhere else to eat. we are good. cmon now.#id make it more of a thing about how chatot is biased against new recruits so hes unwilling to vouch for team wispstar bc he thinks theyll q #quit #so he trusts skuntank bc he’s a higher rank but wispstar isnt worth protecting #and that blows up in his face later when wispstar in turn doesnt trust him like with amp plains or the future arc #and he has to deal with the fact that he caused that and he has to improve how he acts towards new recruits #echoed voice
