i played the homies hoods sneak peeks we have in order to see what the vibe’s like so far and devil’s flower followed by get busy is such a lethal combo like damn lmao
#vee queued to fill the void#when we get all our previews i’ll probably listen in album order lol#it’s the reason why those two songs aren’t on the same ep it’s too powerful LOL#before we started rolling out the previews i had a jp fan on my feed a little apprehensive about the eps#because they were worried about the music divorcing itself from rap and feeling more like an idol franchise than a cool rap project#i find myself thinking about those tweets with each release lol#i’d be concerned if it wasn’t obviously a different perspective on the characters#like it’s still part of hypmic’s storytelling thru music but lmao#the fact it feels like a summer music festival because the boys are willingly making themselves in universe idols is sending me LMAO#but that is the vibe i’m getting lol!!!!! hypmic’s version of a summer sonic music festival and it’s neat tbh!!!!!#i’m still hoping that ichiro and samatoki are going to do hip hop and r&b/gangster rap respectively but even if not#it’s just fun to see what music everyone wants to make when they don’t have to rap lol
