But he’s way too shy to admit it, because god, he could never capture the way your eyes glinted or the way your smile stood out or the expression of pure bliss when he kissed you… he tries to avoid drawing you, but he can’t. You’re in every thought of his. And now, he’s trying to hide his notebook from you. He’s hugging it close to his chest, hiding it under his book bag as he mimicked the painting in front of him. It was a simple one, really…but it looked like it was missing something. He thought for a minute and his brain clicked. It was missing you. You would fit perfectly into it, since your eye color would stand out splendidly. He just finished drawing your face before… “whatcha doing?” He stumbles and knocks over his collection of colored pencils over the bench he was sitting on. “Nothing.” “Are you drawing something? Can I see it?” You ask excitedly. And honestly, could he ever say no to you? He mumbled a bit as he gave the book to you and started picking up the colored pencils, and you were surprised to see your own face staring back at you. “Is-is this me?” You smile. Last week you saw a dog wearing a fur coat, and just yesterday yuuta heard a construction worker whistle out the tune to "From the start" by Laufey. It's those simple things that quickly become inside jokes for the both of you. Upon arriving at the store, you usually follow yuuta as he shops for suitable groceries for today's lunch and dinner. But...after going shopping with him 3 times when you were dating, you noticed yuuta had a habit of looking at food labels. For a really long time. As yuuta examines the ingredients for the canned pineapples (why would you even need to do that? It's literally just pineapples!) you whine about how he's taking so long that you've started getting wrinkles. He then proceeds to give you a chuckle and a "wait a minute, love." and continue to read the can's contents. "(name)." He calls out your name in the most serious tone you've ever heard him in. “Kamo, love?” “Yes, dear?” “Look at how gorgeous these Daffodils are!” You pick up a potted plant of them as Kamo miles at you. Going on dates to flower shops had become a routine for you and Kamo, since you both would do it weekly. “Yes, darling, they are beautiful. Not as beautiful as you though.” “Shut up.” You scoff as you roll your eyes and shove him playfully. Kamo has a wide knowledge about flowers, knowing what each of them symbolize and what they represent. Before dating Kamo, you would’ve never known that red, white and pink carnations had different meanings, or that white Hyacinths stood for loveliness. Most of the time on these dates you would stroll through each aisles, pointing out flowers or plants that you thought were cute. Kamo would then proceed to tell you the meaning. On the surface, it may seem like a repetitive action, but with Kamo, everything feels new and interesting. He may tell you a story about what this plant reminds him of, or about how this flower wilts to your beauty. At the end of every date (usually the shopkeeper has to kick you both out) Kamo buys you a bouquet of flowers, each symbolizing something about your relationship with one another. Even though sometimes the flowers wilt and you have to throw them away, he knows that his love for you never will.

He teases, getting down from his seat to sit on the floor with you. “Nah. I actually read @respectable-alcoholic's Heresy series waaayyy back before I even had a tumblr or ao3 and I remember the thrill of refreshing ffn.net every few days/weeks back then to see if a new chapter had come out yet :') (yes folks, this was a time when more of the bonkai fandom posted on ffn rather than ao3 lol!) And you are SO RIGHT anon, I think Bonnie and Kai *both* had many moments of descending to such extreme levels of spite in that series, it had me glued to the screen!

The whole trilogy was an emotional roller-coaster that I strongly recommend. The angst, tension, conflicts and smut were *sublime* and pretty believable extensions of canon imo, tho i will say- when that story got dark, it got DARK. Like my soul sometimes felt *heavy* bc the series did not shy away from letting characters brutally hit their lowest points and it was gut-wrenchingly painful, but also necessary for that story tbh. Really intense series overall, people go check it out if u haven't already! It's like an iconic part of the bonkai fandom collection srsly ask anyone!

"Oh, Dazai-san, have you heard of the new recruit that's joining us tomorrow?"

Dazai looked up at Tanizaki, eyebrows slightly raised in interest. It seemed that everybody except for him knew the news, however Dazai knew perfectly well that it was because he ditched work too often.

No matter. He'd just ask Atsushi to fill him in on the news.

"A new recruit? Since when?"

"Since a few days ago... but you were too busy jumping into the river and I had to fetch you, and I somehow scraped myself pulling you out, and I had to be treated by Yosano-sensei..." Tanizaki shuddered as he recalled the 'treatment' that Yosano had given him.

"Go on. The new recruit?"

"Ah, right! She's Haruno's cousin, and she's just turned 20. She's currently studying criminology and criminal psychology, and her grades are at the top of her year level. I haven't met her yet, but she seems like a nice person." Tanizaki said.

"I see... that's so amazing! I finally would have a new double suicide partner! Ah, I simply cannot wait for tomorrow!" Dazai's eyes sparkled in excitement as Tanizaki laughed nervously, however a familiar green notebook whacked the top of Dazai's head.

"Stop it, you idiot. You don't want to scare her off on her first day tomorrow, and the Agency's already received so many complaints because of you! And as for the double suicide, I'll wring your neck with my own fingers, how about that?!" Kunikida reprimanded, while Dazai pouted childishly.

"But Kunikida-kuuun! I've been waiting for months for a beautiful lady to come by the Agency, and I've already gotten the ideal double suicide spot! Ne, do you want to hear about it? It's a lovely spot near Yokohama where-"

"I don't want to hear about your suicide antics or whatever! Just make sure that you behave yourself tomorrow, or else I'll actually wring your neck myself!"

Tanizaki laughed nervously as he watched the banter between the two Armed Detective Agency employees. He sure hoped that Dazai wouldn't scare off the new girl tomorrow, because then the Agency would have an enraged Kunikida out for a certain suicidal maniac's blood and it certainly would not be a sight to see.

Speaking of Dazai, the suicidal maniac was quite energetic and flirtatious around you. He would cunningly turn situations into pickup lines, and complimented you everyday. You would’ve been flustered and perhaps even catching feelings for him were it not the fact that he was a womaniser and a playboy. Haruno had warned you about this side of him, because she didn’t want to see her cousin hurt and broken-hearted because of Dazai.

Unbeknownst to you, everybody in the Agency could clearly see how big of a crush Dazai had on you. Every time you forgot something he would bring it, whenever it was the end of the week there was always a gift of some sort lying on your office table, and not to mention he would actually do his paperwork when you asked him to. Kunikida was glad that you were keeping Dazai in check, however he himself was already wishing that Dazai would confess to you and for you to return the suicidal maniac’s feelings, because everybody was frankly a bit scared of Dazai acting non-Dazai like.

It was one lazy afternoon when Dazai approached you, looking quite confident and... different. The rest of the Agency quickly caught on to what was going to happen, and held their breaths, hoping that it would be successful. You looked up towards the man, your expression innocent and oblivious.

“May I help you, Dazai-san?” You asked in that sweet and beautiful voice that sent Dazai’s heart beating at 205bpm.

He took your hand and laid a kiss on it. You were slightly confused at this new behaviour, but you brushed it off, thinking that Dazai was just playfully flirting with you again. This wasn’t the first time that he held your hand, afterall.

“My belladonna... you’re as graceful and elegant like a swan in a crystal lake. You were the only one who could make me fall into the longing passion called love. So I ask you,” he leaned closer.

“Would you return my feelings of affection, and we may finally be the lovers that we were always destined to be?”

You had to fight to keep your blush in, because even though you harboured no romantic feelings for Dazai, he sure knew how to make you flustered and make your heartbeat quicken. You smiled, and opened your mouth to answer him, not noticing the tension building around the room.

“You’re really nice, Dazai-san. I really must say...” Everybody seemed to lean forward, desperate to hear a ‘yes’ from you.

“You’re such a fun friend to me.”

And with that, the entire Armed Detective Agency, even the Director himself, let out a huge, collective sigh at Dazai’s (and theirs) misfortune.

But they're not, and we know why.

People on simblr can't even stop themselves from using, advertising, and paying cc creators that are doxxers and bigots. Because the virtual skirts are just too good to pass up. They talk a big talk and loooove to harass people (over anon only) but never once put their money where their mouth is. The creators that said nothing and ignored this subject will be rewarded when most people here forget about this within a week. And im gonna be honest, this is why I stopped caring about most issues here. Simblr is largely performative posturing to boost the ego and nothing else. A lot of people here cry and whine about issues in the community and then take no steps to solve them because they don't care about it really, they just want to join a good circlejerk to get their metaphorical rocks off. There's no real substance once you read between the lines.

I used to not understand people that called this shit "drama" and tried to avoid it, because it's not drama, it's important shit that deserves to be discussed- but now I realize it's because people here treat those subjects like drama. Like a reason to attack or one up someone, fuel for harassment for people they don't like, virtual points for their ego, etc. It's honestly disrespectful and embarrassing to those that truly care and deal with these issues.

I'm also gonna say, the only people that have come at me for this (on anon ofc) are obviously paywall simps because they keep mentioning paywallers/early access, which tells you enough about their motivations and what they really care about. It isn't the actual issues in the world bothering them, it's just an opportunity they can use to attack someone that didn't suck off their favorite scamming paywaller. And that's kinda sad to me honestly. Like how pathetic and trashy do you gotta be to compare these subjects in the first place? It honestly just makes me feel better about my choices here because none of it really feels like it matters to anyone with any sense. I felt uneasy about it, but now I feel more reassured that the only people acting like this are obvious freaks that never learned to integrate properly in society, you know? It's weirdly comforting lol.

I know what you mean having a lot of animals and them being a big responsibility. The animals I grew up with, my mother just happen to take in because they were strays and she’s always had a soft spot for animals but having had so many for years I think she realizes how expensive they can be and they quite literally keep you poor with all the vet bills and food costs and forget it when they get attacked by other animals it’s devastating financially and emotionally. You have such a good kind heart to put up with that all and I bet you don’t even mind because you love your animals so much. I know you also cannot just part with them either because that is also very difficult. I wish you a lot of luck! The best thing you can do for your babies is hustle hard at a job and get that bread to support them! I know he rly adores animals but has always just done what i feel is the barest minimum &if u can’t keep them happy + healthy + well - fed Then idk.don’t fuckin buy any more animals ! my mom also loves animals but I would describe her as sort of prissy Doesn’t wna get her hands dirty with things like that (except for any feline She would shower jn blood 4 them) and she sees me as a drama queen . Anyways When it gets hard It rly srsly does leave u devastated & helpless and . so much money LOL I am rly fortunate i’ve been able to afford what I can so far , idk if ppl generally understand how expensive just the food alone is for certain animals? HONESTLY LOVE LOVE LOVE WRITERS WHO WRITE FICS THAT HAS OVER 10K WORDS LIKE YOU. like YES, i wanna know EVERYTHING, the backstory, memories, flashbacks, unnecessary details whatever, i just feel like fics like those are amazing, especially with smuts too? fics these days are nothing but straight up pornography, like, whatever happened to feelings? to sex with emotions? like who said you can't have hot sex while also being emotionally-connected with the person (ok i totally mean leon specifically) like, it just makes it all the more endearing for me AND HOTTER TOO, like god, obviously i have read those other fics but fics like yours are refreshing, and i honestly find myself more engaged with the story than reading the same shit that ends in p in v and it's all useless and with no particular ending or whatever.

in all honesty, i agree. don’t get me wrong sometimes i do love, porn without plot (esp if i’m in the mood for it) but i love fics that have me emotionally attached and invested to the point i’m scrambling to the comments for a part 2.

which is why i write the way i do,, i love build up and deep connections. like DEEP connections to the point the two main characters cannot possibly stay away from one another.

i do love throwing in backstories to kind of give the characters some depth and they aren’t just two people fucking yk?

i love different tropes, i love tension, i love … love ig. like i’ve always been a HUGE hopeless romantic that is why i’ll use two or three paragraphs just explaining the love one person has for the other.

i love fics that have me engaged and at the end of my seat. i find myself smirking to myself when i get a new idea for a fic 😭
