Maybe it's the Moonlight
- Theo Nott x Female Reader
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Pairing: Tutor!Theo Nott x Good girl!female reader
ⓘ When I write within an academic setting it’s a university au and therefore all characters are over 18!
Warnings: slight dubcon, dirty talk, fingering, corruption, praise, mild degradation, power imbalance, unprotected sex, creampie, public sex (there’s literally nobody around but still it’s a public place)
Summary: Theo has been assigned to tutor you in astronomy, but his methods are a little… unorthodox (they involve fucking)
Word count: 3.1k
Tumblr media
‘I didn’t take you for the type to sneak out past curfew, doll.’
You looked up from your seat on the edge of the Astronomy Tower to see your devastatingly handsome tutor staring down at you.
As one of the brightest in your year, it was incredibly frustrating to you that you were almost failing astronomy. What was even more frustrating was that Theodore Nott, the infamous man-whore who’d probably never stepped foot in the library (for reasons other than making out behind the bookshelves), was top of the class.
When you requested additional help, you expected to be partnered with someone like Hermione Granger - someone as studious and academically motivated as you. Yet here you were, meeting with one of the most attractive yet most troublesome boys in school.
You two were the definition of an oxymoron: you; good, innocent and studious, juxtaposed with him; bad, corrupt and carefree.
‘I’m normally not,’ you said defensively, ‘but I really need to pass this class.’
‘And you want my help.’ he smugly added as he sat down next to you.
Immediately, you felt some weird tension between the two of you. Why did he look so happy to be here? And why was he wearing such a predatory smile on his face?
Maybe it’s the moonlight you told yourself, as you made a mental note to reschedule your next session for a more civilised location, despite the fact that this one was undeniably practical - what better time and place to study the stars?
You cleared your throat and flicked through the pages of your textbook, feeling rather shy, and desperate to get this study session over with as soon as possible. ‘So, what first?’
Theo tutted and plucked the dusty old book from your hands, before he carelessly chucked it over his shoulder. ‘What’s first is I wanna hear you say it: Theo I need your help.’
‘Hey I needed tha- what?’
He was already having fun with your new dynamic. Whilst you were disappointed with your assigned tutor, he was pleased. In astronomy, the only class you shared, he would watch you intently - in a way not dissimilar to how lions stalk their prey. You were too perfect… he thought often of inviting you over and corrupting you; fucking you senseless and leaving enough marks on your body to prove it. However he knew you would never agree to hang out with him outside in a social setting - his academic arrangement was a perfect way to get you alone.
‘You heard me, miss high-and-mighty, I want you to say the words.’
‘Why?’ you crossed your arms in protest. You didn’t want to admit to needing anyone, especially not Theo Nott.
‘Cos you think you’re better than me,’ he said simply, ‘yet here you are about to fail astronomy, expecting me to help you pass it. You almost sound entitled really, maybe I should just go-‘
‘Fine.’ you cut him off, which only made him grin and look at you expectantly. ‘Theo I… I need your help.’
‘Good girl.’ his grin widened hearing you say those words, whilst simultaneously your eyes widened hearing his response. What did he just call you?
‘Why did you want me to say it so badly?’
He shrugs. ‘What man doesn’t want a pretty girl to say she needs him?’
Cheeky bastard. Nevertheless, you felt your cheeks heat up against your will. He thought you were pretty. Not that that should’ve meant anything, coming from someone like Theo Nott. He was notorious for being a womanizer. A playboy. A man-whore. You so badly wished his reused words had no effect on you, but they did. Looking down at your lap you prayed that your flush wasn’t noticeable in the darkness, for you were almost embarrassed at how he could fluster you with so few words.
It was very noticeable.
At least, it was for Theo, who had been seeking such a reaction and had therefore picked up on it immediately. He wasn’t entirely sure if you even wanted to study at all when you suggested meeting in the Astronomy Tower, with it being a primarily regarded by students as a hookup spot. It surprised him that you actually brought textbooks and came with the intention of learning.
He had other ideas.
He was sick of girls throwing themselves at him, this time he wanted a challenge - but he didn’t just didn’t want any challenge, he wanted you.
He wanted to shut your smart little mouth up with his own; he wanted the satisfaction of taking someone so smart and fucking them dumb. The dirty-minded boy found it cute that you’d so innocently suggested the meeting in the middle of the night - that the impure thoughts he was thinking hadn’t even crossed your mind.
Clearly you hadn’t considered your choice of clothing either. He didn’t miss the way the wind was causing your little pleated skirt to fly up, nor the way your tight blouse clung to your curves and accentuated all the right places. Places he’d love to touch; to kiss.
Alas, he would have to settle for letting his mind wander for now. As badly as he wanted to fuck you, he did also commit to helping you. His hands would have to wander later. Wander up to your perky tits, down to your sensitive cunt…
‘Anyway,’ he shook his head to rid himself of his horny thoughts, ‘is there an area of study you’re particularly struggling with?’
‘Star charts.’ you admitted, your shoulders slumping.
Theo looked as though he was trying his hardest not to laugh at you. ‘Star charts?’
‘You’re supposed to help me, not mock me.’ you deadpanned.
‘I’m sorry,’ he chuckled, ‘I just find it amusing that someone as intelligent as you can’t read a fucking star chart.’
‘I can read a star chart just fine. I just can’t…’
‘Use it to navigate the sky?’ he offered.
‘Exactly!’
Unable to help himself, he dropped his voice to a low and seductive tone and leaned into your ear. ‘Well I’d be more than happy to make you see stars.’
Theo’s hot breath on the side of your neck combined with his dominant tone caused a gush of wetness between your legs. Discreetly, you squeezed your thighs together, silently willing yourself to break free from whatever trance he’d put you under.
This didn’t go unnoticed by Theo, who was thoroughly enjoying watching you squirm.
‘I- if you don’t wanna help me that’s okay but I think maybe I should-‘
‘Believe it or not,’ he cut you off, his tone surprisingly gentle, ‘I’m actually trying to help you.’
A puzzled look appeared on your face. ‘You threw my textbook away when I tried to open it.’
‘Well, let’s not live in the past.’ he waved off your statement, holding out his hand for you to take. ‘Do you trust me?’
‘With what?’ you eyed him skeptically.
‘Jesus are you always this tense? It’s a yes or no question, doll.’
After a moments hesitation, you answered; ‘Yes… yes,I trust you.’ and took his hand.
That was all the confirmation he needed to yank you onto his lap, causing you to let out a little gasp. Sitting on Theo Nott’s lap was not how you envisioned spending your study session, but you were hardly complaining. The faint aroma of cigarettes and the sound of his racing heart should be distressing - a sign of danger, even - but you felt oddly calm. Your back was towards him so you were both facing the night sky as he asked, ‘Can you point out Andromeda for me?’
The feel of his hardening bulge underneath your ass had momentarily stunned you, and you stuttered trying to answer his question.
‘Just relax…’ his fingers caressed your exposed thighs comfortingly, slowly working their way upwards, meeting the hem of your mini skirt.
‘What are- shouldn’t we study first?’ You grabbed his wrist to stop his fingers going any higher.
When you said first, implying that you would be interested in having sex with him later, he felt his cock twitch. Finally, you were granting the opportunity for him to make you his. Luckily for the both of you, Theo was great at multitasking.
‘Tut tut, do you want to get better at astronomy or not?’
Well yes, but you couldn’t see how him touching you was going to help with that. ‘I-‘ you were cut off by your own whimper as you felt Theo’s fingers graze over your clit through your underwear.
‘Then let’s try again. Where’s Andromeda?’
At first, his fingers lightly circling your clit were too much of a distraction. It was obvious he had experience, because he knew exactly how hard to press to satisfy you but still keep you coherent. After a moment of getting used to the sensation, your brain was clear enough to answer his question so, using your finger, you traced the outline of the constellation in the sky.
‘That was correct, clever girl.’
‘Wait, really?’ you bounced up and down in excitement, making the boy underneath you groan at the feeling of you pressing on his hard cock. ‘How did you teach me to do that without teaching me anything?’
‘Your problem is you think too much. I thought if I helped you… relax, you’d be able to focus on astronomy a little better. Clearly, I was correct.’ Theo moved his hand inside your underwear and slipped a finger inside your wet hole. ‘Well done.’
Your mouth falls open at the feeling of his long finger deep inside your tight cunt, stroking your inner walls. As determined as you were to not be another one of his silly hookups, you couldn’t bring yourself to deny the pleasure he was giving you.
‘Fuck, doll, who knew a good girl like you would be this wet for someone like me.’
Theo’s finger teased you for the next twenty minutes as he asked you various Astronomy-related questions, which you answered correctly. He was right, you were clearly thinking too hard at something so simple, and his fingers pleasuring you rid you of all the unnecessary thoughts, allowing you to focus solely on the stars. Every now and then, Theo would increase the pressure on your clit or thrust his finger deeper, just to see you cut yourself off mid-sentence with a moan or a whimper induced by his touch.
‘Theo…’ you whined after answering a dozen questions about constellations, looking up at him. You were asking for something, but you weren’t quite sure what. Just something more.
He pushed a second finger inside you, curling them upwards into you slowly as his palm pressed against your clit. Watching you writhe on top of him and hearing you moan made his dick throb in his trousers, as he internally tried to decide between bringing you to your climax on his fingers first or just freeing his cock and fucking you raw right away.
‘Yeah, amore? You like being finger-fucked out in the open?’ he whispered, even though there was no chance of you being seen or heard by anyone at this time. His words went straight to your core and his previously slow pace started to quicken as he felt you clench around his digits. ‘Fuck- yes right there.’ you cried, feeling his long fingers hit that sweet spot deep inside you.
Not long after, he retracted his fingers, smearing your wetness on your clit teasingly before removing his hand from your underwear altogether. The new, empty feeling made you whimper.
‘Why’d you stop?’ you pouted breathlessly whilst you turned around in his lap, now straddling him.
Locking his eyes on yours, he brought the two fingers that were previously buried inside you to his lips and licked off all your juices. ‘So sweet.’ he muttered to himself, probably not intending for you to hear. ‘Because,’ he said louder, ‘I want to make you cum on my cock, if you’ll let me.’
Your eyes flick down to his now rock-hard erection, still trapped inside his trousers. ‘Yes, please…’
‘Atta girl… but first, let’s get these clothes out the way, shall we?’
You nodded frantically, tugging at the hem of his t shirt as he unbuttoned your blouse to reveal your tits sitting perfectly in a lacy white bra. ‘These are fucking gorgeous.’ he palmed them before reaching round to unclip your bra. ‘I can’t want to watch them bounce as I fuck you.’
He pulled away briefly to discard his own shirt before flipping you both over. How he revelled in the sight of you underneath him, all exposed and desperate. Theo knew that you weren’t like him; you weren’t the type to sleep around. He was honoured to be making you feel this good, and he wanted to make sure you had as much fun as he knew he would have.
After pulling off his trousers he guided your hand to his bulge, making you feel him through his boxers. ‘Can you feel how hard I am for you, amore? How desperate my cock is to sink itself into your pretty little cunt?’
He leaned down to give you a passionate kiss, his thumb finding its way to your clit. Your fingers found his waistband and tugged on it, indicating that you wanted him to discard them. He obliged.
Pulling away from the kiss, your jaw dropped as you saw his erection finally spring free, hitting his stomach. It was bigger than you could’ve imagined, and you suddenly found yourself conscious of how large he was in comparison to you.
‘Theo that is not gonna fit inside of me.’
‘Let’s find out, shall we?’ he yanked your skirt and your underwear down with one harsh tug, leaving you entirely on display for him. With one movement of his hips the tip of his cock found your dripping wet entrance, and he pushed it in it in ever so slightly. The stretch makes you moan; his cock was way thicker than his fingers. ‘See that, doll, your warm little cunt is practically pulling me in. I told you I know what’s best for you.’
Tugging at his brown curls at the back of his neck, you hum in agreement. ‘Please… I need you.’
‘I didn’t even have to ask you to say it that time.’ he grinned before he bottomed out inside of you making you cry out. A bulge was visible in your stomach where is cock was deep inside you, still whilst you adjusted to his size. ‘You okay, pretty girl?’ All you could do was nod, not trusting your mouth to form coherent words with the boy who was meant to tutor you buried to the hilt in your dripping wet cunt. ‘Words, please.’ he commanded as he grabbed your jaw to bring your face closer to his.
‘Yes I’m- I’m more than okay just please…’
‘Please what?’
‘Please fuck me.’ you said in a small voice, surprised at yourself for saying it outright. At your request he started to move, making you bite your lip to keep yourself from moaning at the sensation.
‘Don’t hold back, amore. Your sounds are as cute as your face, I wanna hear them all.’
And with that he began to pound in and out of you, immediately picking up a harsh pace. His large hands pinned your wrists on either side of your head so you could make no attempt to cover your flushed face or muffle your breathy moans. He was no hypocrite either, groaning into your ear letting you hear just how much he was enjoying fucking you raw.
It was even more erotic than he’d imagined. He’d managed to turn a tutoring session with the schools resident good girl and turn it into a scene straight out of a porno. The sight of your tits bouncing as your tight, warm cunt took his thick cock was one he wanted engrained in his memory. Fuck, if you weren’t on a hard wooden floor he’d be tossing your little body around in all sorts of positions. And god, how he wanted to taste you; to suck on your sensitive little clit and lick up your sweet juices. The opportunity hadn’t arose in this particular occasion, but it only motivated him to get you in bed again.
‘You feel fucking incredible.’ he groaned, earning only a whimper in response. ‘Bet you couldn’t answer any astronomy questions now, hm?’
You shook your head, your eyes fluttering shut as he hit that sweet spot deep inside of you. ‘N-no, I-‘ his pace didn’t falter as you felt yourself clenching around him, orgasm building up - if anything, it quickened.
‘Cos I’ve fucked you senseless, haven’t I?’ Although you could hear him, you couldn’t respond. His voice was muffled and your vision was clouded, your pleasure was so overwhelming, you couldn’t think straight. ‘You like going dumb on my dick?’
Theo could tell you were close, so he brought a thumb to your clit, adding pressure in circular motions. That’s all it took for your orgasm to come crashing over you. ‘Theo, I’m-‘
‘Do it. Let go. Cum for me.’
And you do. Just as he promised, you swore you saw stars whilst he fucked you through your high and chased his own. He didn’t slow down to accommodate your now increased sensitivity - his need almost became primal as his thrusts got sloppier the closer he got. ‘Gonna fill you up with my cum, doll. Real deep.’ he grunted in your ear, feeling his own orgasm building. The pressure from your tight cunt felt like heaven to him, but mostly it was the way you were looking at him that pushed him over the edge, like he’d just taken you places you didn’t know you could go.
You both moaned as you felt his hot cum spill into you, marking you as his. And you were his, now. He’d ruined you for anybody else; he’d moulded you to fit him perfectly.
After pulling out, he laid down on his side next to you, tracing mindless circles around your navel.
‘That,’ you inhaled shakily, ‘was amazing. Are you okay?’
His eyes, which had previously been fixed on the sight of his cum leaking out of your hole, snapped up to you. By the looks of it, people don’t normally ask him that after sex, and you immediately felt as though you’d said something wrong. That was, until you felt his hand cup your cheek. ‘Careful, doll, you’re really making me want to keep you.’
‘What?’ you roll onto your side to face him.
‘Nothing.’ he sighed in content. ‘I’m great, are you okay?’
‘Amazing. Same time next week?’ you attempted to joke.
‘Same time tomorrow.’

The taste of cherry chapstick lingered on your tongue as your eyes rolled to the back of your head. Lost in euphoria, you cried out just as a wave of pleasure crashed over you, dragging you to the depths of sensual self-indulgence.
Back arching off the bed. Fingers gripping the sheets. Moans echoing off the walls.
This was hedonism at its finest.
The heady scent of sweat, skin, and sex permeated in the air long after your orgasm passed, inducing you into a foggy haze as you scrambled to anchor yourself back to the present. Between your legs, your girlfriend lifted her head up with a pleased smirk and pressed a chaste kiss against your lips.
The kiss tasted like cum and cherries, a sweet and intoxicating combination that sent your head spinning. Hannah hummed, her pretty doe eyes focused on you while your own fluttered open.
“Babe, I’ve really got to get to practice now,” she whispered softly. “I’m late enough as it is.”
You chuckled, twirling a strand of her red hair between your fingers. “Whose fault is that? You’re the one who dragged me in here, love.”
Hannah grinned sheepishly as she pulled your red and gold skirt down. “Can you blame me? I can’t control myself when you’re strutting about in your cheer uniform.”
“Then go out there and give me something to cheer about, babe. I expect a win against Slytherin tomorrow.”
“If Potter doesn’t kill me first for being late,” she said with a final kiss to your cheek. “See you after practice?”
You nodded as you tossed her jersey over. “I’ll be here.”
After taking a much needed shower, you sat in front of the vanity and blasted music as you diligently adhered to your skincare routine. The best thing about having a girlfriend was that you shared everything. Since dating Hannah, your makeup, clothes, and shoe options doubled overnight.
As you combed through your hair, a sudden knock at the door caught your attention. You figured it was just a courtesy from Hannah’s roommate. Merlin knows that the poor witch had walked in on you and your girlfriend in countless compromising positions.
Tightening the scarlet robe around your waist, you sauntered over to the door, fully expecting Emma to greet you from the other side. Instead, a looming figure eclipsed the doorway. You were surprised to find none other than Theodore Nott staring back at you.
While you two weren’t exactly the best of friends given the rivalry between your houses, you and Theo were civil. You sat beside each other in Herbology and occasionally shared a laugh every time you caught him muttering sarcastic remarks under his breath about the ridiculous bloody plants that Professor Sprout had you wrangling during class.
“Well, what do we have here?” you teased, cocking your head at the dead eyed Slytherin. “A serpent in the lion’s den? What brings you behind enemy lines, Theo?”
Theo smiled back in response, shuffling a bit and allowing a glimpse of the wine bottle and bouquet of roses cradled in his arms. “Waiting for my girlfriend to leave so I can set this up for our anniversary.”
You grinned. “Oh, how romantic!” You had always been a sucker for cheesy gestures. It was the hopeless romantic in you.  “Come in, then.”
To his credit, Theo kept his eyes firmly on your face as you ushered him inside the room. Taking the hint, you quickly excused yourself to the bathroom and changed into something a little less revealing than your silk robe. When you came out, Theo was sprinkling rose petals on the bed.
“Those are gorgeous,” you fawned over the flowers. “You’re definitely getting laid tonight.”
Theo smirked in response as he set the vintage wine bottle into a fancy crystal ice bucket. “That’s the plan.”
Slipping into your fuzzy slippers, you cocked your head at the arrangement. “Wait. I think you set it up on the wrong side. Emma’s bed is over there.”
Theo nodded absentmindedly. “Yeah, I know. This is for Hannah.”
Whatever warm, fuzzy feeling his sweet gesture invoked suddenly soured at the mention of your girlfriend’s name. “What do you mean it’s for Hannah?”
“Hannah,” Theo repeated slowly. “As in, my girlfriend, Hannah.”
The words hit you like the Hogwarts Express. Surely, Theo was mistaken. He had to be. That was the only explanation. “This can’t be right. I’m sure I heard you wrong. You can’t be dating Hannah.”
The confusion in your face was mirrored in Theo’s features. “And why is that?”
“Because I’m dating Hannah.”
Theo stared at you. You stared back. The room fell silent as the declaration hung heavy in the air.
“Wait,” he backtracked, furrowing his brows. “What? That’s not possible.”
“We’ve been dating since term started.”
“We’ve been dating since summer,” Theo countered. Disbelief dawned over his handsome features. “This is for our three month anniversary.”
Desperate to make sense of the situation, you pulled out your phone and scrolled through your photo album. It didn’t take long to find a recent picture of you and Hannah. “See?” you said, pointing at the screen. “This is us sharing a hot fudge sundae in Hogsmeade just last weekend.”
Theo’s mouth gaped open as he pulled out his phone in response, scrolling through his pictures just as you had done moments ago. “This is us swimming in the lake last July.”
The photo of your girlfriend smiling up at the camera while Theo’s arms wrapped around her bikini clad body made your stomach plummet. The confirmation left a bitter taste on your tongue. There was no reason for Theo to be making this up, which left only one possible conclusion. Hannah was dating both of you. At the same time.
You pursed your lips. “Hannah played us both.”
Theo looked about as dejected as you felt. “I can’t believe I didn’t realize it,” he muttered to himself.
“All that tension between you during the quidditch match,” you recalled. The lingering looks that Hannah and Theo shared during last month’s scrimmage flashed before your very eyes. In hindsight, it was obvious that there was more to it than rivalry.
“You know, I think I saw her kiss you on the cheek in the halls once, but she said that the two of you were just really close.”
“Oh, we are,” you said rather bitterly. “She’s kissed a lot more than my cheeks. Gods, how could I have been so stupid?”
“You’re not stupid,” Theo said softly. “How could we have known? Outside of Herbology, the two of us don’t really interact. We’re in different houses and our social circles rarely overlap. If you think about it, it’s actually the perfect plan.”
“Yes, bravo to our girlfriend for being the cleverest fucking liar in the castle.” You winced at the title. "Correction, ex-girlfriend."
Nott nodded in agreement. "Definitely ex-girlfriend."
"What a bloody mess."
Theo rubbed his temples. “Well, fuck.” The sentiment of total and utter confusion was one you knew all too well. “I am way too sober for this.”
Without a word, he swiped the bottle of wine from the crystal bucket and popped it open. You stared at him with slight bewilderment, which he responded to with a nonchalant shrug. “What? It’s not like I’m going to drink this with Hannah now after I found out that she’s been lying to me for three whole months.”
While Theo was taking the perfectly understandable approach of getting absolutely pissed off his arse, you weren’t willing to take the hit so easily. You were angry. Correction, you were fucking livid. Seething in the heat of your fury, you snatched the wine bottle from Theo’s grasp and chugged a good amount.
“That’s a vintage from my family’s vineyard. You’re supposed to sip slowly to really appreciate the flavor—“ Theo grimaced as you leveled him with a glare. “Or drown yourself in it. That’s fine, too.”
You swayed on your feet as you gestured dramatically. “I can’t believe she cheated on me!”
Who the fuck did Hannah think she was? You didn’t need this bullshit. She was the one who chased after you. Before she pursued you, you were perfectly fine ruling this school under your thumb, flashing pretty smiles and innocent doe eyed looks to the unsuspecting masses. You were head cheerleader, for fuck’s sake! You could’ve had your pick of boys and girls in this whole bloody castle. Even worse, Hannah dragged Theo into this too. While the Slytherins certainly had a reputation, he seemed sweet if not a little sardonic and cynical at times.
”I can’t believe she cheated on you.” You added, surveying the now tainted roses and wine. Indignation weighed heavily on every word. You and Theo were both hot as fuck and a complete catch. Neither of you deserved this. “We can’t let her get away with this.”
Theo sighed in response, taking the bottle from you and drinking a decent amount before wiping his wine stained lips with the back of his hand. “If I’m being honest, this isn’t the first time a relationship has imploded on me. Usually, it’s my fault. But I can’t say I’ve ever gotten cheated on. My ego’s taken a little bit of a blow, but what can we do? She fooled us both.”
“What can we do?” You repeated incredulously. “Obviously, you haven’t dealt with a Gryffindor’s wrath before. This is a matter of pride, Theo. She hit us where it hurts the most. I say we hit her back.”
Theo blanched, his watercolor eyes glazed from the alcohol. The wine was no joke. You never would’ve known it from the smooth taste, but this shit was strong. “As upset as I am, I hardly think violence is the answer. My mum told me to never raise a hand against a lady and I don’t intend on breaking that promise. No matter how angry I may be.”
For the first time in that fucked up night, you managed a laugh. Something about that was so endearing to you. “Relax, Nott. I don’t mean we hurt her physically. That’s not really my style. I have a much more effective way to enact revenge.” Your lips curled into a smile as Theo hung onto every word. “We’re going to wage psychological warfare on our ex-girlfriend, Theo.”
“I’ll confess I’m a little bit scared,” Theo declared as he gulped down the last of the wine. “And a little bit turned on. Guess that says a lot about me, huh?”
You smirked as you retrieved the wine bottle and gingerly set it on the nightstand. Theo glanced up at you curiously, anticipation evident on his handsome face. “What exactly is the plan, dolcezza?”
Whether it was the alcohol or your anger, a devious plan started forming as you looked over your ex-girlfriend’s now ex-boyfriend. “Hannah comes back from practice in an hour,” you stated, toying with the neck of the bottle. “She’s expecting to find me in bed waiting for her.”
Mischief danced in Theo’s eyes. Up close, you could see flecks of green swimming in his blue irises. Those mesmerizing eyes—the very same ones that had the entire castle weak in the knees—locked on yours. Now that you were single through no fault of your own, you had no reason not to ogle Theo and ogle you did. Your gaze flickered over his lean physique, examining his solid chest and broad shoulders before snagging on the sliver of skin that revealed the hard abdominal muscles beneath his light grey shirt as he stretched. A cocky smirk graced his handsome face when he caught you looking.
Merlin, he was fucking pretty.
How had you not noticed that before? Oh, right. You were too busy being a good girlfriend. Well, fuck that.
“Oh?” He murmured, his gaze flickering over you.
Though you changed into a baggy shirt and cotton shorts, you might as well have been naked with the way Theo was looking at you. His dead eyed stare burned holes into your skin and a shiver crawled up your spine as he gravitated closer.
“And she will,” you said with a smirk, closing the gap between you. “You’ll just be in it with me.”
“Oh,” Theo hummed salaciously.
“Wouldn’t wanna waste those pretty roses you got, do we?”
The low rasp of your voice seemed to entrance Theo as he shook his head, appearing dazed as you pulled him in by the front of his shirt. “No, no at all. We should…” The nervous bob of his Adam’s apple sent a thrill through your body. “We should definitely make use of them.”
With a grin, you led him towards the bed. Theo walked backwards, his eyes never leaving yours even as he landed on the mattress. The golden glow of the lamp kissed his sharp cheekbones, its warm hue coloring the slope of his nose, which were smattered with moles and freckles, before emphasizing his wine stained lips. The red roses fluttered around him as the bed dipped, soft petals tickling his skin as he settled against the headboard.
Theo felt like he was under a spell as you crawled over him. He couldn’t tell whether he was dizzy from the wine or if it was just the effect you had on him, but either way, he wasn’t complaining. There were worse things to suffer from than a pretty witch straddling his lap.
Instinctively, Theo gripped your waist while you settled over him. The sight of you leaning over him, your face mere inches away from his felt like a fever dream. One that he had no desire of waking up from.
“I thought you liked girls,” Theo whispered softly as your lips brushed over his. Teasing, taunting, tasting. Fuck, what he would give to have you devour him whole.
“I do,” you replied, tickling his cheek with a rose petal. Theo shivered as the low rasp of your voice pulled him in. “But I like boys too. Especially pretty ones like you.”
Theo couldn’t help but blush. Obviously, he was aware that he was attractive, but he’d never been called pretty before. He was surprised to find that he really fucking liked it.
“Don’t flatter me, dolcezza. Not unless you plan on following through.”
“I’ve never been with a Slytherin before,” you whispered huskily. “Tell me, Theo. Will you sink your teeth into me tonight?”
A part of him pondered the slightly fucked up situation that Theo managed to get himself into tonight. Was he really about to fuck his ex-girlfriend’s ex-girlfriend in her own bed? Yes. Did he feel an ounce of guilt over what he was about to do? No.
Honestly, fuck Hannah. But more importantly, Theo needed to focus on fucking you.
“Fuck yes.”
When you leaned in and pressed your lips against his, it was over. There wasn’t a single trace of self control in him as he kissed back, his mouth hot and eager against yours. The infamous Gryffindor boldness didn’t disappoint as you moaned into his mouth, your fingers threading through his silky brown waves before tugging in a way that made Theo weak in the knees. As he parted your lips with his tongue, you grinded against him and laughed seductively when he whimpered in response.
“Yeah?” you purred as you rolled your hips. “You like that, pretty boy?”
“Bloody fucking hell,” Theo groaned before he kissed you again, rougher this time.
There was something satisfying about the way he grabbed you, his big hands guiding you to grind over him, providing a delicious friction between your clothed sex. Theo was hard and throbbing underneath you. By the feel of him, you knew you were in for a ride. The sheer size of him was going to absolutely destroy you.
You pulled away and a glistening trail of spit extended between you as a result of your sloppy make out. Theo panted as you tugged at the hem of his shirt, keeping your eyes trained on him while you licked a path down his abdomen. He watched hungrily as you grazed your teeth over his hard muscles, flicking your tongue expertly while he shuddered underneath you.
“I can see why Hannah went for you,” you hummed against his tan skin. “You’re hot as fuck. Your abs are unreal and your happy trail,” Theo groaned as you pressed soft kisses along his torso. “It leads to something delicious, doesn’t it?”
“Fuck, bella. You’re killing me,” Theo groaned as he fisted your hair in one hand. The whimper that slipped past his lips as you palmed his cock was utterly shameless. “You’ve got a filthy fucking mouth, Y/N.”
“Yeah? Shut me up, then.”
His head lolled back against the headboard as you released his cock from his boxers, stroking purposefully and savoring the filthy moans that echoed against the walls. Those pretty eyes of his were nearly black with lust as he looked down at you, biting his lip while your tongue swirled over the head of his cock. Licking up his precum, you smirked before fully wrapping your lips around him.
Theo tugged at your hair and bucked against your mouth as you sucked, licked, and pumped every inch of his thick, hard cock. You knew you were good, but the desperation in Theo’s voice all but confirmed it.
“Dio mio, right there. Fuck, you’re perfect. Your throat was made to be fucked. You can take it, bella. Choke on my cock, just like that.”
You gagged as he hit the back of your throat. Sucking dick had never been your favorite, but sucking Theo’s dick was something else. He looked so pretty with his waves plastered to his forehead, rosy cheeks flushed as he fucked your face with a dominance that had you growing wetter by the second. Tears streaked down your cheeks as you choked on his cock, but it was worth every second to hear Theo moan your name.
“Fuck, Y/N,” hissed Theo after a particularly rough thrust. You could tell he was close by the way his body seized underneath you, but you weren’t done with him yet. You wanted more and so did he. “So fucking close, but I don’t want to come yet. I need…Fuck, I need more.”
You released him with a pop, but kept stroking him with your right hand. “Use your words, pretty boy.”
“I want to feel you,” Theo whined. “I need to feel your pussy clenching around my cock, principessa. I need you so fucking bad. I’d get on my knees to be inside of you. Please.”
“You sound so pretty when you beg,” you said as you kissed his temple. “Who am I to refuse?”
Theo watched as you shuffled above him, barely breathing as you slipped out of your clothes. When you threw your shirt off, Theo cursed to find you completely bare before him. He cupped your tits, flicking his thumb over your nipples before wrapping his lips around them. You could tell he was eager to please and that alone was a huge fucking turn on. It was rare to find a man who cared about pleasure beyond his own, which is why you usually preferred women. Theodore Nott seemed to be the exception.
With rapt attention, Theo helped you lower down onto his length. He kept his eyes on you as you adjusted, gasping when your walls stretched to accommodate his size.
“You know, I thought the rumors about you were exaggerated,” you groaned as you sank lower. “But I’ve never been so glad to be wrong.”
Theo smirked as he nibbled at your earlobe. “What kind of rumors, dolcezza?”
“That you had a huge dick,” you responded, sounding slightly winded once Theo was finally fully sheathed inside of you. “And that you fuck like a—“ You moaned when Theo shifted his hips to rut into you. He was so big that the minuscule movement felt like you were being split apart.
“That I fuck like what, bella?”
Never one to be outdone, you tugged at his hair and grinded against him. “That you fuck like an absolute demon.”
“Yeah?” He drawled, sliding in and out of you with a cocky smirk. “Well, you’re no angel either, Y/N.”
“You haven’t seen anything yet, Theo.”
The sight of you bouncing on his cock and riding the fuck out of him was almost too much. Theo was mesmerized as you used him to get off, head thrown back as you placed your hands on either side of his legs before bending in an angle that he wasn’t even sure was possible for a human to contort to.
Damn, he should’ve fucked a cheerleader sooner. He should’ve fucked you sooner.
“I guess you’re not the only one who listened to the rumors. They said you were flexible, but goddamn, this is something else. You’re something else, Y/N.”
“Oh fuck, Theo,” you keened as you gripped the sheets. “You’re so big. It feels so fucking good, baby.”
“I like the way you moan my name,” he said. “Gods, I could’ve had this all along. Why was I even wasting my time with Hannah? Sei una fottuta dea.”
“I have no idea what you just said,'' you panted, picking up the pace. Your legs ached from the effort, but it felt too good to stop. “But I’m soaked now.”
“I said,” Theo grunted as he fucked up into you and tugged your hair back. “You’re a fucking goddess, Y/N.”
When he rubbed circles on your clit, you absolutely lost it. The room spiraled around you as you came hard, creaming Theo from tip to base. He pulled out suddenly, making you whine at the loss of contact until he replaced his cock with his mouth. Theo flattened his tongue, licking up along your soaked folds. His nose brushed against your already sensitive clit and you cried out as he lapped you up like a man starved.
“Can’t take anymore,” you whined, tears pooling in the corner of your eyes as you pushed against Theo’s broad shoulders. “It’s too much. I’m so sensitive.”
Theo gripped your ankles and spread your legs wider. “Where’s that Gryffindor bravery, bella?” He chuckled, tracing circles on the inside of your thighs. His mouth glistened with your cum and rose petals stuck to his skin as he looked up at you. “Surely you can take more. We barely just started. I want you drenched in tears. Shaking, crying, and moaning my name. Right now, you’re not even close.”
He sucked on your clit and you swore to Godric your eyes rolled back so hard that you saw heaven. Theo was determined to drive you to the brink of insanity. “I know you want it, baby. Let me make you feel good.”
“Oh gods,” you cried out as he filled you with two fingers. It wasn’t as much of a stretch as his cock, but the way he curled them inside of you, touching that sensitive spongy spot within your walls made you whimper all the same. “Fuck, yes, gods. I want it. I want you, Theo.”
A satisfied smile graced his handsome face before Theo flipped you over, pressing you headfirst into the pillows as he feasted on your pussy from behind. There wasn’t a single thought in your head as he unraveled you with his tongue and fingers. It was a deadly combination that had you on the edge quicker than you thought possible.
“Turn around, principessa,” Theo cooed. “Come ride my face.”
For Godric’s fucking sake. The man was absolutely insatiable. You liked to think that you had excellent stamina. Most of the time your partners struggled to keep up with your pace, but Theo was seriously challenging that. You didn’t know if you could come three times in a row without passing out, but tonight was as good as any to find out.
Theo rewarded you with a sloppy, open-mouthed kiss before positioning your thighs on either side of his head. You held onto the headboard above him. Part of it was for balance, but mostly to keep yourself from collapsing all together. You felt so overstimulated that the line between pleasure and pain was blurring by the minute, but still, neither one of you had any plans of stopping.
At this point, you actually couldn’t give less of a fuck about revenge. Hannah had long become a thing of the past. It seemed ironic that you and your ex-girlfriend were in this exact position mere hours ago yet you couldn’t even recall anything past the Slytherin fucking you with his tongue.
“Theo, oh my fucking gods,” you cried out as you grinded against his mouth. “Right there. Yes, that’s it. So good.” Theo squeezed your thighs in response, which elicited a hoarse laugh out of you. “You like when I praise you, pretty boy?”
Theo hummed against your clit and squeezed your ass in confirmation. “You’re so pretty when you’re eating my pussy,” you cooed, brushing his wavy locks back. “But you’re even prettier when you’re fucking me.”
That seemed to be all the encouragement Theo needed. Before you knew it, your back was against the mattress as he hiked your legs over your shoulder. Theo slipped in easily, thanks to the juices coating both his tongue and cock now that he was filling you up again.
“How’s the view now, principessa?” Theo asked with a cocky smirk.
You bit your lip as he pounded into you, holding your gaze with every sharp thrust. His tanned skin glistened with sweat and his muscles flexed while he buried himself inside of you again and again, watching you take all of him with rapt attention. His balls slapped against your ass every time his hips snapped to yours, drilling so deep that you struggled for words.
“The best in the castle,” you quipped back, putting on a serene smile as Theo grunted and fucked any and every coherent thought right out of you.
Neither one of you noticed the door opening nor the sound of the broom hitting the floor. You were too busy staring into Theo’s pretty eyes to care.
He turned your head towards the door, but didn’t stop fucking you as Hannah watched with her mouth hung wide open. Theo made sure that your ex-girlfriend had a clear view of the money shot as he claimed you with his mouth, moaning your name against your lips as he came with a loud cry. He filled you to the brim and you could feel him leaking out of you and onto the sheets as your eyes rolled back.
Theo collapsed on top of you, sweaty and sinful. As you lay boneless and blissed out of your mind, you couldn’t quite believe that you’d just fucked your ex-girlfriend’s ex boyfriend. In her own bed, nonetheless. If that wasn’t poetic justice, you didn’t know what was. Merlin, you hadn’t gotten shagged like that in—well, ever. The Slytherin really knew how to slither in. You lifted your head to find Theo already looking at you. When you made eye contact, the two of you burst into laughter.
Your ex-girlfriend, on the other hand, was not as amused. “What the fuck!” Hannah screamed.
Her shrill voice brought you out of the post haze aftermath of your earth shattering orgasm. Completely unbothered, you stretched lazily and waved your fingers at Hannah. Theo smirked as he tugged his sweatpants back on, but opted to remain shirtless as he pulled his oversized shirt over your head like a proper gentleman. You were grateful, since you had absolutely no desire to walk around in your ex-girlfriend’s clothes. Plus, it didn’t hurt that Theo looked absolutely delicious from the afterglow.
You bit your lip, already thinking of all the ways you’d like to have him. Again and again. As often as possible.
With a little smile, you met Theo’s gaze. It was clear that neither of you had any intention of calling it an early night. You had a feeling that you had a lot of sleepless nights ahead of you. Theo looked like he wanted to tear you apart and you were more than willing to let him. “My dorm?”
“Whatever you say, dolcezza,” Theo said as he slipped his fingers through yours. “You could lead me off the astronomy tower and I’d follow.”
Theo didn’t bother looking at Hannah as the two of you passed her. You, on the other hand, couldn’t pass up the chance to get the last word in.
“By the way, we’re breaking up with you. Have fun cleaning up the mess.”
Theo chuckled darkly as he tugged you out into the hallway, smacking your arse as the two of you raced back to your dorm. Behind you, your long forgotten ex-girlfriend gaped as she watched her ex-girlfriend and ex-boyfriend walk away hand in hand.

You stared yet again at the reflection in front of you. Tear stains had ruined your makeup, your mascara that claimed to be waterproof was now coating your cheeks until your chin.
You gripped the sink in anger, your knuckles turning white at the force.
A lot of curse words flashed in your mind, but none were strong enough to represent your current state.
How could you be so oblivious? You thought Jake and you had something, something that went beyond just two people who met at a frat party.
You felt it, inside your heart, the way it tickled every time you heard his sweet chuckle leave his lips, seeming like the only light in the darkness of life.
You took a deep breath, trying to gather all the shattered pieces of your heart, laying open there. If that was how it hurt, you sure as hell weren’t going to give anyone else the key to access to it.
“What’s a pretty girl crying in the bathroom for?” A voice snapped you out of your trance. You raised your face and met a pair of known, dark eyes.
“Heeseung.” You breathed out, not even bothering to turn around. That moment almost felt like a deja vù, probably because that same bathroom was where your lips first met Jake’s.
Trying to block out all the memories of that Australian man, you turned around and leaned back on the countertop.
“Glad you still remember my name.” He said, licking his bottom lip, “Found out your prince charming wasn’t as innocent as you thought?”
You frowned at his words “How’d you know?” And Heeseung just chuckled bitterly in response “I invited you to my party in hope of having you for myself.”
His eyes roamed all over your body “Just to find out you were at it with my best friend.” You rolled your eyes. “We just made out, nothing more.”
If you thought Jake was bold, Heeseung was shameless. He was looking at you like you were a gazelle in the lion’s den, eyes scanning your body, probably imagining you without clothes.
“Well, he’s busy now.” You turned around and looked at yourself in the mirror, trying to clean the mascara stains on your face.
“With Karina?” Heeseung nodded at himself, “She was there before you.”
You turned around again, a deeply offended expression painting your features “Excuse me?”
Heeseung smirked, cleaning your cheeks with his own thumbs “You really thought Sim Jake would fall in love with a mediocre girl?” He cooed “Aw, poor you. Jake had always been greedy, he would never settle for someone who isn’t from his own neighbourhood.”
“And why are you telling me this?” You asked warily, not fully believing the words leaving his mouth. You wanted to stay with your impression of the kind and playful Jake. Not the player, not the heartbreaker.
“Because he isn’t worth your tears, pretty.” Heeseung’s voice was husky and hoarse, you couldn’t almost understand his words “But I am, when I’ll fuck you so hard.”
You pushed his chest away, “Disgusting.” But Heeseung only laughed in response, “I was kidding.”
You rolled your eyes and stepped aside of him “I’m going home.” You were almost out of the door when his big hand wrapped around your waist, pulling you flush on his chest.
“Or, I have a better idea.” You raised a brow. “You don’t look like someone who has nice ideas.”
“Just trust me.” He wiggled his brows “I know you’re known for seducing and then leaving.”
You scowled “If that’s my reputation on your side of the town.” His fingers trailed your arm until they reached your shoulder, caressing the bare skin “In my opinion, that’s hot.”
“I don’t remember asking.” You sighed, having heard his flattering already when he was courting you, a couple of weeks before.
“I’m saying, we go downstairs.” Heeseung bit his bottom lip, playing with the strap of your dress. “And we get a taste of each other, just let your mind drift off.” He said, lowering down to whisper in your ear.
You honestly weren’t in the mood to make out with someone, let alone be in a room full of teenagers drunk off their tits— But what could you do better to fix your broken heart?
“I hope you improved your kissing skills.”
𓆩♡𓆪
If stares could kill, then the ones Jake was giving you as you basically straddled Heeseung in the middle of his living room got you dead a few minutes before.
Your lips were attached, rarely pulling away, just enough to catch your breath while his hands were wrapped around your waist, holding you in place on his laps.
Jake was still with that pretty woman whose name you learnt was Karina. And in fact, she was deadly gorgeous, you almost didn’t blame Jake for leaving you for her. But you were Y/N, nobody should’ve dared to play with your heart that same cruel way Jake did.
“You don’t mind making out with me in front of him?” You asked on Heeseung’s lips, licking his bottom one “Nah,” He cupped the back of your neck, pulling you closer “You weren’t a thing anyways, were you?”
Your heart stopped at his words, because in fact, you and Jake weren’t anything. You had never been, it was foolish of you to even hope for it.
“No, we weren’t.” You replied in a whisper, “Perfect.” Heeseung resumed kissing you, more roughly this time.
Jake needed something stronger than the mild cup of beer in his hand to forget your presence in the room. Smashing his head on the wall seemed like a good option since not only did you attend the party but were also making out with his best friend.
He called it on himself, he knew nothing good would come with playing with you, but he couldn’t erase all that he had done.
Trying to cancel the image of Heeseung with his hands all over you, he turned to the side to give his attention to the raven haired girl beside him “So, when’s your brother coming home from Paris again?”
Karina smiled at the mention “Sunghoon is coming back in two days!” She informed him, “He also wanted to invite you guys over.”
Jake beamed back at his other best friend’s older sister and nodded “That sounds good, I haven’t seen him in one month or so.”
Karina rolled her eyes “Yeah, I came back as soon as work finished but he claimed he wanted to ‘sightsee’ the city before returning here.”
He smiled “Living his best life, I see.” He patted her shoulder, the touch on her exposed skin only made him remember how your body felt when it was wrapped around his, kissing you all over.
He hoped he could have done more, to be with you longer so that he would have experienced having you laid down beneath him, in your whole essence and beauty. He wished he had a chance to do that— But the universe wasn’t on his side.
You hadn’t realised how much fun those rich kids could have. You thought they talked about horses and lake cottages in their free time but they actually were so much more than that!
Or maybe it was whatever Heeseung made you smoke that was altering your thoughts.
You were currently sitting on his laps, your back pressed against his chest as you took a drag out of the joint between your fingers.
You giggled at something one of Heeseung’s friends said, you weren't even sure why you were laughing but it sounded fun.
Heeseung caressed your back, trailing circles on your shoulder as he took a drag from his own joint “Having fun, Y/N?” He asked and you nodded “Much.”
“Mhmh, I bet you are.” He smirked, “First time smoking weed?”
You nodded again “Jake said I looked like I did it daily,” You chuckled “But I never tried.”
“Did he?” He whispered, getting close to your neck, leaving kitten licks “You talk a lot about him.”
“No.” You frowned “I don’t.” Heeseung chuckled and started sucking on your sensitive skin, making you let out a moan.
His big hand went to cover your mouth as he worked on your neck, sucking and biting enough to leave a hickey “You talked about him the whole night, haven't you even realised?”
You widened your eyes at his statement. No, you hadn’t realised, but when his name rolled out of your tongue it just sounded so right.
You just shook your head, unable to reply verbally since his hand was on your lips.
You closed your eyes, trying to block out any thought at the feeling of Heeseung’s lips on your neck and the weed clouding your mind.
“Are you mad?” A strict voice suddenly snapped you out of your state of trance as you felt yourself being ripped away from Heeseung’s grasp.
You opened your eyes just to find a very rather and deeply angry Jake standing in front of you, if he was in a cartoon you’d see his veins pulsing on his forehead.
“He’s Jake!” You exclaimed happily to Heeseung, the effect of the amount of alcohol you drank and the intoxication from weed made you act hyper “I know.” Heeseung replied calmly.
Jake pulled you behind his back “What were you thinking? Making her smoke this shit?”
You frowned “It’s good—“ But Heeseung cut you “Relax man, we were just having fun.”
“This is not having fun.” He took the joint from your hand and threw it to Heeseung “Don’t get her into your addictions.”
Heeseung raised a brow, his expression remaining stoic “She was willing.” Jake snapped back “She’s drunk!”
He took a deep breath and pointed a threatening finger toward Heeseung “Do not pull this ever again.” He stated before taking your hand in his and dragging you out of the party.
Meanwhile, Heeseung smirked as he saw the two of you walk away; Maybe that was when his best friend would finally wake up and realise all the things he was losing.
𓆩♡𓆪
“Hey!” You exclaimed, trying to pull away from his iron grip “Yunjin is still inside.” Jake let out a small groan “I’ll drive her home later.”
You pulled hard on his hand, making him stop right in front of his crimson car “Let me go.”
Jake’s eyes were full of rage, you were almost scared at their intensity “Are you angry?”
“Yes.” He stated, voice serious “At me?” You asked, your voice was so soft and quiet it made his heart jump out of his ribcage “No, not at you.”
Your eyes were red and bloodshot, your breath heavy “How many did you smoke?” He asked, trying to contain his tone.
You gulped down, lowering your gaze “Two.” Jake nodded and opened the door of his car, letting you in.
“I’m going to kill Heeseung somedays.” He mumbled, walking to the other side and entering the driver seat.
He started the engine and drove in silence, the late hours of the night not as lively as they usually were.
When you reached a stoplight, Jake opened a small bottle of water he had in his car and handed it to you “Drink, I want it all finished before we reach your house.”
You raised a brow, your mind was already puzzled and his actions only added to your confusion “Why?”
“Just listen to me.” He dismissed your question and started driving again while you drank small sips from the bottle.
You soon reached your house, this time Jake parked his car unauthorisedly in front of it, exiting the car to open the door for you.
You looked up at him, your vulnerable state making him want to protect you even more. Damn Heeseung.
“I couldn’t finish it all…” You murmured, showing him only the half-empty bottle of water.
His eyes softened. “That’s ok, at least you drank some.” You smiled up at him and stumbled a little as you tried to reach your house door.
Jake helped you, holding you up with his arms under your armpits “Shoot, Y/N. Why did you drink so much?” He let out a huff, as he was basically supporting all your weight.
You leaned on the wall and handed Jake your purse, not really in the state to open the door.
“What’s the code?” He asked and looked at your door, just to realise there was no code to access inside it, your door still needed a key to be opened.
His stomach dropped, another mental check of how different your lives were “Inside the purse.” You murmured.
Jake nodded and opened your purse, taking out the keys and opening the door, holding it open.
“You’re mad at me?” You asked again, your eyes half-lidded and you could barely hold yourself up— yet you were ever so pretty.
The moonlight shone on you, lighting up your skin, your hair falling down your face, messy but gorgeous. So dishevelled but so pretty.
“No, Y/N. I’m not mad at you.” He repeated, his tone sincere “Then… Then why you ignored me?” You asked, the pout on your lips only making him want to bite on them.
He gave you the purse back and pushed you a little so that you walked in “Go straight to bed, don’t wake your parents up. You don’t want them to see you like this.”
You nodded obediently and Jake caressed your cheek with his thumb before turning around. He stopped right in front of your door and smiled “I’m doing this for you, ma chérie.” And then closed the door.
𓆩♡𓆪
“Hey man,” Jake greeted Sunghoon as he entered his house, giving him a high five, “Good to see you again.”
“Yeah, glad to see you too.” Sunghoon nodded and closed the door behind his back.
“Am I the last one?” Jake asked, walking to the couch and sitting on it, bouncing a couple of times.
“No,” A wild Jay appeared from the kitchen where he was cooking something for dinner, already busy since late afternoon. “Heeseung texted he’d be late.”
“As always.” Sunghoon rolled his eyes and sat down beside him “I swear, he never changes.”
“Jay told me you will take over your father’s company,” Sunghoon smiled, but it didn’t quite reach his eyes “Congratulations.”
“Yeah.” Jake laughed “Thanks.” Awkward silent filled the room, the only sound being Jay’s pots as he cooked. Sunghoon eyed him up and down, leaning back on the couch and resting his head on his hand “Hadn’t you rebelled to your parents?”
“Rumours fly.” He smiled forcefully “It was just a silly thing. I actually realised I should make them proud after eveything they did for me.”
“And what exactly did they do for you, Jake?” Sunghoon’s voice was low, his gaze piercing.
Jake just cleared his throat and changed the topic “So, how was Paris?” He asked “I know you booked a hotel near the Eiffel Tower. Bet it was awesome.”
Sunghoon tsked “Indeed. I’ll show you the picture if you want.” Jake answered positively when the doorbell rang.
“You get the door, it must be Heeseung.” Sunghoon got up from the sofa and patted his pockets “I’ll search for my phone.”
Jake got up as well and walked to the door, the doorbell rang again and he sighed “Yeah, coming.” He opened it and widened his eyes when he saw another familiar figure beside Heeseung.
He took in the sight of you, wearing comfortable clothes, looking ever so dreamy.
His gaze fixed on the hickey Heeseung made you a couple of days before, now all dark and purplish. He gulped “What is she doing here?”
“I invited her.” Heeseung shrugged, stepping aside Jake and walking inside the house.
You were left with him, staring at each other’s faces, acting as if both of your hearts weren’t pounding “How’s the after effect?”
There was no context but you knew what he meant “Good, I’m a big woman. No joint can kill me.” You replied, walking beside him when no more words were exchanged. Truth to be told the next day you woke up with a throbbing headache, regretting all of your life choices— though the biggest one was the hickey on your neck.
“I thought you didn’t want to hang out on this side of the town.” Jake spoke, his tone sounding mocking. You scowled “Maybe I changed my mind.” You walked faster toward the kitchen where everyone was gathered.
You got to know Jake’s friend group. Aside from Heeseung and him, you had only seen Jay at the last party. You later found out Sunghoon was on a business trip in Paris which was why you hadn’t seen him before, but even if you did he wasn’t the happiest about your presence, so you thought you wouldn’t have been friends.
Jay, on the other end, was sophisticated and kind, the two of them looking ever so the stereotype of rich kids.
Heeseung and Jake were rather normal, they could’ve passed as the kids from your neighbourhood if you didn't know their true identities.
“I brought some snacks.” Sunghoon announced, placing a sachet on the table. He took out all kinds of sweet things, but your eyes lit up at the sight of macaroons.
You had only seen their pictures and let your mind wander at what their taste would be like, but now they were in front of you, so you reached your hand and took one.
“You like ‘em?” Heeseung asked, taking the chocolate flavoured one and eating it “I’ve never tried them.” The whole table fell silent, all the boys stopping in their tracks.
“Never?” Jay questioned and you shook your head “That’s a bummer though, I only bought four for the four of us.” Sunghoon was about to take the vanilla flavoured macaroon out of your hand when Jake slapped it away.
“I don’t like them anyways, she can have mine.” Jay frowned at his friend’s words “You love macar—“ He was shushed by a biscuit placed in his mouth by Jake “I don’t like them.” He repeated.
You bit on the small treat and your eyes formed hearts “It’s so good!” You said, munching on it. And you didn’t know it, but Jake’s heart skipped a beat at the sight of you so happy.
You continued to spend time with them, playfully beefing with Sunghoon as if you weren’t an intruder in his house until they decided to go in the free time room to play billiard.
“But I don’t know how to play billiards.” You pouted, watching all the men gather around the pool table.
“That’s ok, you can just watch.” Sunghoon dismissed you quickly, placing himself in front of you to posionate the balls inside the triangle.
You just scoffed and sat on the kitchen counter, crossing your arms on your chest.
You watched the game develop in front of your eyes, never truly understanding its rules. They were too useless and complicated and you stopped paying attention in the middle.
After what seemed like forever, where you had the time to walk around Sunghoon’s big house three times and even have a chat with his maids — cause apparently, rich kids could even afford maidens — you entered the kitchen again just to see it was empty.
You looked around, checking if anyone was there before following Sunghoon’s previous actions, placing the balls in the triangle to align them.
You didn’t know what they found interesting in billiards, and trying to understand it wasn’t going to get you killed.
You took the cue stick and positioned yourself, copying the boys’ postures.
Something must’ve gone wrong, though, because as you pushed the cue you embarrassingly missed it.
“You are too far with your back.” The same voice that haunted your dreams spoke from behind you, making you flinch.
“Chill, it’s just me.” Jake stated, munching on some chips “Heeseung wondered if you wanted something to eat.”
You smirked, leaning on the table “Heeseung or you?” Jake rolled his eyes but didn’t deny your questioning.
He gulped down his food and stared at you “You want to play pool?”
“I already said I don’t know how to do that.” You repeated, glancing back at the untouched balls “I don’t even understand the rules.”
“Here.” Jake’s accent tickled your ears as he made you turn around with his hands on your hips “Bend just a little.” You didn’t know if his voice was really that low or if he was doing it just to tease you— Whatever was his plan, you were down for it.
“Mh? Like this?” You said with your most innocent voice, bending slightly more on the table, just enough to make your ass touch his front hips.
He let out a faint groan “Yeah.” He tried not to show the effect you had on him and trailed his fingers along your arms until he reached the cue stick in your hands. Goosebumps formed on your skin at the contact.
“Then?” You asked, eager for him to touch you. “Then you place the cue like this.” He shifted your fingers so you could grip it the right way and turned his face, you could feel his breath on your skin and the tip of his nose poking your cheek.
There was also something else poking your ass cheeks, which was why you started moving, briefly. Just to tease him.
“Take the aim.” The combination of his voice and the proximity of your bodies made your mind hazy, making it hard for you to concentrate.
You just let him guide you “And… Shoot.” You pushed the cue between your fingers and finally, all the balls moved around the green table.
One went into the hole and you jumped happily “I did it!” You exclaimed, laughing “You saw?” You asked, turning around.
Jake was staring at you with ever so deep eyes, full of emotions you didn’t quite get but felt inside of you as well “I always see you.”
𓆩♡𓆪
You weren’t sure why Heeseung invited you to yet another party, or the reason as to why you seemed to be the only girl at a boys hang out, but you weren’t going to complain.
The hotel you guys were staying in was huge, apparently it belonged to Heeseung’s parents and you could have it all for yourself the whole night.
Wearing the best dress you owned you presented yourself at the location beside the raven haired man.
You greeted his friends group and noticed there were many other people, unlike you thought, all partying and dancing together.
It was very different from the ones he usually threw at his house, this one was huge and packed, there was almost no space to go through the crowd.
“And you said I couldn’t bring Yunjin along.” You side eyed Heeseung, earning a shrug. “One girl from the other side is already enough.”
You slapped lightly on his shoulder “Rude.” Heeseung laughed and pushed your back a little. “Go have fun, I have guests to greet.”
Feeling like a mouse surrounded by cats, you made your way through the crowd, trying to ignore the thirsty stares you were receiving. Since that fateful night where you willingly let your heart out for Jake you had become more careful with your possible make outs.
As you turned your face to look at the big pool where people were swimming, you accidentally bumped someone's chest, which made you stumble backwards.
“Sorry,” You murmured, about to walk away when a hand came around your wrist. It wasn’t Jake’s, the one you were used to, it was much rougher and tighter.
You glanced up just to notice a tall guy, probably high judging from his bloodshot eyes and twitching nose. Holy Moly.
That guy lowered to match your height, his hot and smelly breath made your nose scrunch in disgust “Hey, gorgeous.”
Your whole body froze and your heart stopped beating for a few seconds “Uh… Hi.” You laughed awkwardly, trying to remove your hand from his grip.
“You bumped me by mistake?” He asked, getting dangerously close “Or did you want my attention. You didn’t have to pull that act, my attention is all yours now.” His words were so slurred you could barely understand them.
“Actually, it was a mistake.” You said and again tried to pull away from him, but the more you tried the more he got closer.
“Don’t lie.” He whispered and wrapped one arm around your waist. You were trapped, your breath hitching.
“I truly am not.” You pushed his chest away, resulting in him only tightening his grip “Come on… Let’s have fun.”
“She said it was a mistake.” A familiar voice with a thick accent, thicker than usual, commented, placing one hand on the guy’s shoulder.
The guy groaned and raised himself in all his height, turning around in slow motion — or maybe it was just your panicked vision playing tricks — toward Jake.
He stood in front of him, unfazed by how big and tall that guy was as he stared at him with a dark gaze.
“And who are you to interrupt us?” The guy asked, his voice too low for your own likings “Her guy.” Jake said as if it was the most obvious answer, raising a brow.
“So, I suggest you walk the fuck away before I throw one punch on your nose and break it.” You had never seen Jake angry, you had a few fantasies about it, but you would’ve never imagined him being so scary (and hot).
His whole aura was inky, arms crossed on his chest, showing his excessively veiny arms.
That guy was surely drunk but not enough to risk his own life. He raised his hands in a submissive manner and nodded “Alright, sorry man.” Jake tilted his head “It’s not me you have to apologise to.”
He took a moment to comprehend his words “Oh.” He then turned to you and scratched the back of his neck “I’m sorry.” He didn’t wait for your reply and just walked away.
Your eyes then met Jake’s, filled with wrath “I—“ You said but were met by his hand around your wrist, this time your body not repulsing it as that guy’s and he dragged you inside the hotel.
“Jake, let go.” You tried to fight him but he was stronger, dragging you through the corridors until he reached what would’ve been a storage room, full of pillows and sheets supplies “Let go, it hurts.”
Jake loosened his grip “You really have trouble written on your forehead.” He snapped, his breath heavy as he paced around the room “I can’t look away from you that you’re getting yourself into something bad.”
You frowned at his harsh words “That’s not true.” Jake scowled “Is it not? You either get high or almost—“ He couldn’t bring himself to finish his sentence.
“Why do you even care anyways?” You said back, brows knitted “You’re the one who used me.”
Jake stopped in his tracks “Used you?” He got closer to you.
“Yes,” You stepped forward as well. “You just used me, made me think you actually cared about me just to rebel against your parents.”
You gulped, your heart breaking again at the memory “Next thing I know, you’re ignoring me and smiling at a pretty girl.”
“Did you fuck her, Jake?” He was taken aback from your words, placing his hands on your shoulders. You shrugged him off, he still remained in your proximity without touching you.
“I think I lost something here, who was I smiling at?” You clicked your tongue, your hands on your waist as you got frustrated.
“That girl, last Saturday.” You explained “Dark hair, killer body, tall… Come on Jake, just admit it you wanted someone to fuck but I didn’t and so you went with someone else.”
“That’s really not what I did. I would never.” He blinked faintly “That girl, she’s Karina, Sunghoon’s sister.” He then added “I don’t like her, not that way.”
You wanted to scowl at him, but his tone was so serious you found yourself asking “..What?”
“You’re not the problem, Y/N.” Jake said, sighing “It’s me, it’s all my fault.”
You shook your head, confused. “What— Jake, I don’t understand.”
“I shouldn’t have asked you to help me.” He backed up until his back hit the wall, running a frustrated hand in his hair “I exposed you to my parents— I—“
You moved to him, taking his face in your hand “Stop mumbling.” You ordered “Talk to me, what’s wrong?”
Despite the way he treated you in the past week, your touch was still gentle and you worried about him. A spark of hope lit his heart up.
Jake nodded and took a deep breath “My parents… they said that if I didn’t break up with you they’d make yours lose their job. You’d lose your house… I couldn’t do that, Y/N.”
He seemed as if he was slowly loosing his mind. You took in the sight of him, dark circles under his eyes, he looked paler wearing that white shirt. Just what on earth had he been doing?
“They’re powerful, with the amount of money they have they can easily buy your whole neighbourhood and evict you.” He gulped down “So I am preparing to take over the company, to make them happy.”
Your eyes widened at his words, “They threatened you?” You asked, removing your hands from his cheeks to stand properly.
Jake shrugged, “We weren’t together so technically I couldn’t break up with you, but I could stay away if it meant you’d be safe.” He sighed softly, “I told you I’m a bad bet since the first time we met.”
“No,” You shook your head “You aren’t bad, your parents are.”
He scoffed, “And I’m just like them.”
You fisted the collar of his shirt and brought his lips down to yours. He was shocked by your sudden action but he relaxed soon and closed his eyes, kissing you back.
“Say that again and your face will meet my fist.” You breathed out as you pulled away “You don’t get how brave you are? You were about to sacrifice your happiness to save my family… someone you met at a party.”
“You’re not just someone I met at a party.” Jake whispered “In just a couple of days you made my whole life better, you made me realise there’s so much more than what I was used to.”
He placed one hand in your hair, caressing your scalp “I never meant to hurt you, baby.”
Your heart jumped as you heard his whisper, the pet name making your head spin “Later, I want you to explain everything to me everything.” You demanded.
Jake nodded “Everything you want, queen.” Your breath quickened “But for now…” You trailed off and connected your lips again.
You kissed him, roughly and he did it back with the same intensity, having missed the taste of you, the scent of your perfume invading his nostrils, clouding his mind.
“Let me take you home,” He murmured between kisses “In your bedroom.”
You shook your head, stumbling backward and bringing him with you “Can’t wait.”
“You sure about this?” He asked as you got out of the storage room, bodies still tangled “I could be bad, worse than you think.”
You wrapped your arms around his neck and brought him down on you “Then, I wanna find out.”
Jake let out a small groan and resumed kissing you, blindly reaching a doorknob and praying nobody was inside.
He dragged you in and locked the door behind your backs.
Jake pushed you against the wall as he undid the buttons of his shirt while you unbuckled his belt, your lips never leaving each other.
He discarded his shirt and helped you unzip his jeans, throwing all of them somewhere on the floor.
He then removed the straps of your dress, slowly kissing all the way down your neck to your almost exposed chest. He pulled away, enough to look at the now barely-visible hickey Heeseung did.
Jake let out a deep groan “You don’t know how much this drove me insane.” He commented, trailing his thumb over it
“Yeah?” You asked “Were you jealous?”
“I wanted to rip his head off.” He said, kissing you again “Wanted to cover your whole body with hickeys and my marks, just to let him know who you belong to.”
You nodded, “Do it,” You breathed out “Make me yours, Jake.”
He unconsciously bucked his hips to meet yours, his clothed bulge poking your pussy “Fuck baby, you can’t tell me that.” He whispered, attaching his lips on your neck again.
Jake lowered the dress until it rested on your hips, palming your breasts, growling at the feeling.
You gasped when his lips engulfed your nipple, twirling his tongue round it. Your hand went to grasp his hair while the other slowly lowered his boxers until his painful erection was free.
Jake helped you out of your dress and underwear until you were standing in front of each other naked. “I’ll worship your body another time.” He murmured, trailing his fingers down your chest “For now, I just want to fuck you rough.”
You smirked and shook your head, making Jake widen his eyes “You don’t want this? I can stop.”
“No, I want it.” You stated, slowly sinking on your knees “I just need to show you my skills first.”
That was the hottest thing anyone could’ve done to Jake, his cock twitched in front of you. It was huge, veiny and hard, his mushroom tip looking ever so delicious.
“You see, baby? This is what you do to me.” He pumped his shaft, brushing it on your lips.
“Stick out that tongue for me.” You did as told and stuck your tongue out as Jake laid his cock on it, bucking his hips back and forth. The spongy and warm texture already making it leak with precum.
You played with his balls while you took him whole in your mouth, gagging when it hit the back of your throat. The filthy sounds filled the room as he took a hold of your head, fisting your hair in a makeshift ponytail while he thrusted inside your throat.
“So good.” He panted, his head thrown back and brows knitted.
You twirled your tongue around his cock, pumping it with your hands where your lips couldn’t reach “Sucking my cock so well.”
Before you could even register, Jake pulled out and raised you from your armpits, placing you on the bed.
“I need to feel your pussy.” He stated, rubbing your clit with his thumb “Want to use a condom, baby?” He asked, “Just tell me.”
You shook your head, bringing him down onto you in a heated kiss “Fuck me raw.” He moaned in the kiss and fisted his shaft again, gathering your juices, you got so wet even by just giving him a blow.
He slowly inserted himself in you, the stretch causing you to pant. You weren’t a virgin but he was bigger than the ones you had before, so it took a moment for you to get used to it.
Jake’s thrusts were nice and slow at first, his forehead resting on yours “I can’t resist.” He breathed out, giving a deeper thrust “Please, can I move?”
You nodded your head, trying to breathe steadily. Jake raised from you and spread your legs open while he moved inside you. You grasped your tits, palming them while maintaining eye contact with Jake.
“You don’t know how much I wanted this,” He groaned, pulling out just to spit on your hole to fill it again “Pussy so tight can barely move.”
Your hand went down to rub circles on your clit, trying to make it wetter as his thrusts gained speed.
Jake slapped your hand and commanded “Hands around your ankles.” And so you complied.
He leaned down and kissed you sloppily, his hips moving back and forth at a delicious rhythm. You moaned out loud.
Holding your head up to rest his forehead on it, your eyes still locked with the others as your body connected fanatically, Jake twitched inside of you and halted his movements.
“Fuckk, almost came.” He chuckled, pulling out of you.
“Want to last longer than this.” He took your body and turned you around, you raised yourself on your arms and leaned your ass up.
“You like being fucked in doggy, mh?” He spammed your ass “Looking so eager to be fucked dumb, you won’t think about anything but my cock in you.”
Jake pushed himself inside of you again, making you moan out his name “Yes, that’s me.” He groaned “Say it again.”
“Jake.” You gasped, he fisted your hair, making you arch your back while he rutted your body “Oh, Y/N.” He moaned as well.
Putting one hand around your neck, he squeezed it as he threw his own head back, lost in the pleasure your warm walls were giving you.
“Fuck baby, I’m not gonna last long.” He panted, stopping his movements to edge himself “Just fuck me.” You pleaded, frustrated by your own denied orgasm every time he stopped.
“Sorry,” He chuckled, spanking your ass and leaning down to kiss the back of your shoulder “You want to cum?”
You nodded, raising yourself to kiss him passionately as he slowly thrusted inside you “Can you ride me, baby? Pretty please?”
Jake looked so hot, messy bangs sticking to his forehead and heavy breath, you couldn’t do anything but agree to everything he said.
You waited for him to lay down, his back pressed against the headboard of the bed as you straddled him.
You rubbed your wet folds on his hard-on, Jake reached for your tits and squeezed them “Have I ever told you you’re so fucking hot?” He asked.
You chuckled “No, but I already know that.” You winked and raised yourself on your knees, slowly sinking down on his cock.
The stretch was still a little painful, but nothing compared to the pleasure his dick was giving you.
You moved on him, up and down at a slow but deep rhythm, feeling him all as he hit your cervix with each thrust.
Jake moved your hair out of your face, his lips attaching to your boob as if he was a toddler in desperate need of milk.
You moaned, your hands grasping his shoulders as you moved back and forth at a quick speed.
“Oh yes.” He put his hands behind his head and watched as you rode him, your mouth agape, gasping for air while shaky moans escaped your lips “Feels good.”
Your legs started to shake and you could barely keep yourself up as you felt the knot in your stomach tighten “I’ve got you.” Jake noticed and made you lay on his chest, his hands spreading your ass cheeks as he started rutting inside you, his pace so quick you didn’t know it was possible.
Your pussy clenched around his cock, creaming him as you fell apart, your moans loud and whole body shaking.
Jake didn’t stop, he chased his own orgasm which was so close.
“You're just made to please me.” He panted, giving a few more thrusts “You're made to squeeze every drop of cum from my cock.” His eyes rolled back with a low groan as he shot his load, his cock twitching until it emptied in you.
You both stayed there for a while, just trying to steady your breaths and calm your racing hearts.
Jake slowly traced your back with his fingers, a featherlight touch sending shivers all dove your spine.
He pulled out, his cum dripping down from your pussy to your thighs and bedsheets.
Jake helped you sit up and removed a few strands of hair that got stuck to your face “You look gorgeous.” He whispered, earning a smile from you “And you did amazing.”
He cleaned you up and threw the dirty sheets on the floor “I’m sorry for whoever will have to clean them tomorrow.” You commented, grimacing.
“Don’t worry about it,” He soothed, settling himself beside you and holding you on his chest, gently caressing your bare shoulder.
You looked up at him, resting your chin on his shoulder. “You should start making choices for your own happiness, Jake.” You murmured
Jake let out a small sigh “Indeed, I should.” He pressed a kiss on your brow “I want to choose you, not my parents, not anyone else. Only you.” You smiled, “I only want you, too.”
“I’ll find a way to fight my parents, I promise I’ll be stronger this time.” Your eyes softened at his words, you caressed his cheek and he leaned on your palm, melting “Oh Jake, you’re the strongest person I know.” You confessed.
“Really?” He asked, looking like a lost boy, “Really.” You confirmed.
Suddenly, your stomach growled loudly. Jake glanced at his phone he had found in his forgotten jeans and put on the bedside table “It’s late night, ma chérie. You’re hungry?”
You nodded, “I want steak.” Jake snorted at your joke “And I want a burger.” He said back.
“Hanging out with a girl from the other side of the town changed you.” You smirked, nudging his shoulders
“Yeah. For the better.”
THE END.

Of Lions and Mice
Leona Kingscholar x Reader
Reader is intended to be female
Masterlist
Leona was annoyed.
Once again, his golden goody-two-shoes older brother decided to shirk his responsibility of being a father and dump the overexcited, disgustingly bright-eyed crown prince on him for the day. And not only that, it had to be today of all days - a rare day where you were free from picking up Crowleys’ slack, where the loudmouthed, nattering extras that always followed you were otherwise preoccupied (and bribed to bugger off with a bag full of tuna), where he was certain he’ll spend the day in bed with you right next to him.
But no. Just like with everything else in his miserable existence, his dreams were crushed and he had to spend the day playing caretaker to his nephew instead of wrapped up with you. What’s worse was that, you’d decided to carry the pint-sized load off of his back and gave your undivided attention to the cub when it should have been rightfully his. How he hated that selfless nature of yours, that sweet, caring, gentle nature that would make you look at anyone that wasn’t him with that loving gaze, that would make you brush your fingers through Cheka’s golden orange curls the same way you would Grim’s fur or the stray cats you’d find around campus or any other being instead of his mane.
He hated just how loving you were, how your eyes could see the beauty in everything.
How, now that it’s late at night, and he’s closed his eyes and pretended to sleep in his attempt to actually get some shut eye and so that the little hairball would quit bothering him but Cheka just continues yapping.
Even in the darkness under his eyelids, he could feel you cast a worried look his way from the spot where his bed sags a little.
“Hey Cheka,” your sweet, dulcet voice (which is currently being used to please his nephew and not sooth him to sleep with the sweet nothings it usually does) pipes up, “how about I tell you a bedtime story from my world?”
“A bedtime story?!” Wow, even with his eyes closed he could see the stars coming out of his nephew's eyes, “yes please!”
Once the little cub has settled into bed, he asks you, “do you know any stories from your world with lions in them?
“Any ones with lions? Hmm, well, I suppose I could tell you about Narnia but I think you might be a bit too young for that and - wait,” you punctuated your words with a snap of your fingers, “I know a short one. There was this man called Aesop who wrote these short stories called fables.”
“What’s a fable?” Cheka asked, his words covered in that innocently curious lilt that all six year olds seemed to have during every occasion Leona wished they wouldn’t - and that was all of them.
You, however, seemed to have much more patience than him, “A story with a moral in them. Like, always be honest, or share, or work together, that sort of thing. I had a book of them when I was younger and I really enjoyed reading them.”
Figures. Of course, the shining beacon of sickeningly polite goodness grew up with such stories. He would’ve teased you for that but he had a child who he’s still trying to convince he was asleep.
“That sounds so cool, Aunty Y/N! Will you tell me more?”
“Of course, I will,” he can hear your smile, “but I’ll tell you them later, okay. Now, it’s time for you to rest.”
“Okay, Aunty Y/N.”
“Alright so,” you clear your throat, “there was once a lion that lay asleep in his den. A shy little mouse came upon him and in her fright she ran away, only whilst doing so she accidentally ran over his head, waking him up.”
“Oh no,” Cheka gasped, “that lion is going to be so angry if he wakes up.”
Oh, so the little hairball does have a brain after all.
“You’re right. Furious that he had been woken up, the big lion slammed a paw down on the tiny mouse and grabbed her by the tail. Holding her up, he growled at her,” here you made your voice noticeably deeper, trying to imitate a gruff growl, ““How dare you wake me up! I am the king of beasts and anyone who interrupts my slumber deserves to die! I shall kill you and eat you!””
It took everything within Leona to not burst into laughter at your adorable imitation of a ‘big scary lion’. It’s a voice you’ve used before whenever you tease him, playfully repeating the words his old self would have said to you, and it’s one that he’s rather fond of.
He loves and respects you, Herbivore, and he’s the first to attest to your formidability and capability - even though you have the annoying tendency to not only blur the line between bravery and reckless stupidity but also play skipping rope with it - but intimidating you are not.
“This scared the terrified mouse even more. Shaking with fear, she begged for him to let her go,” you make your voice higher at this part, squeaking in a way that oddly suited you, in Leona’s not so humble opinion, ““please, your majesty, I beg of you, please don’t eat me. It was only a mistake and if you let me go I’ll be sure to repay you. If you spare my life one day, I might even save yours.””
“The lion looked at the tiny creature and laughed, amused at how such a small mouse could ever be of use to an animal as powerful as him, “You? Save me? How absurd. You’ve made me laugh and put me in a good mood so I shall be generous and let you go.”
“Thank you, your majesty, thank you,” the mouse squeaked as she was put back on the ground, before scurrying away as fast as fast as her little legs could carry her.”
“Yay, so the mouse is free.” Cheka giggled.
“He is,” you said, “but there’s still more left. A few days later, the lion was prowling around when out of nowhere he was caught in a hunter’s net. Try as he might, he couldn’t get out of it. He tossed and turned, roaring angrily as he struggled to escape.”
“Wait, so now the lion’s in trouble. How’s he going to get out?” Cheka asked in worry.
“You’ll see. Hearing his cries, the mouse followed the sound, recognising it from the lion he met earlier.
“I have to help him,” she squeaked as she scampered towards him.”
Upon seeing the lion in the net, she said, “hold still your majesty, I’ll get you out!”
And she quickly started to nibble on the ropes with her sharp little teeth, biting until all they broke apart. It wasn’t long until the lion was free.”
“So the mouse saved him. Was it because the lion helped him earlier?”
“It certainly was Cheka. “Thank you, little mouse,” the lion said, “I laughed at you and didn’t think you could ever help me but you saved my life.”
“It was my turn to help you.” The mouse replied, ”never forget that even a creature as small as a mouse can help a lion.”
And that’s the end,” you say.
“Thank you, Auntie Y/N, I really enjoyed that. Do you think the lion and mouse became friends after that?”
“You are very welcome, Cheka. I think they did. They did help each other, after all. Now I think it’s time to go to sleep.”
And once you were sure that the crown prince was asleep, you made your way next to your boyfriend, running your fingers through chestnut locks, “did you enjoy that little story, Leona.”
He opens his eyes to see your endeared smile. Rolling over so that he could wrap his arms around your waist he muses, “it seems awfully familiar don’t you think? A scared little herbivore wakes up a sleeping lion and ends up saving him later.”
“I’ll have you know, Your Highness, that I was never scared of you. Even when you were a rude old brute who threatened to knock out one of my teeth. And I’m certainly not little.”
“Yeah, yeah, whatever you say.”
He pulls, letting you flop down on his bed beside him so that he can spoon you.
“Sweet dreams, little mouse,” he kissed your forehead, “I hope you know that I don’t ever intend on letting you go. Not after you helped in ways you could never even imagine.”
And so the lion fell asleep, holding the prey who rescued him from the confinement of his past safely in his arms.

Part 2✧Part 3✧Part 4✧Masterlist
Tumblr media
A few months passed as you settled back into your routine at home. Eventually, with the noticeable changes in your body, it dawned on you that you were with child—his child, your lover from the other side of the mirror whom you could no longer reach.
Days turned into weeks, and weeks turn into months. You had adapted to the trials and tribulations of parenthood. Juggling the responsibilities of work, childcare, and household chores was no easy feat, but you found solace in the small moments of your child's growth and development.
Your child was a true joy to behold, a mirror image of their father in many ways, and you often see the ghost of your past lover in them. Having inherited his magic, your child experimented with their powers, leaving you to support them with what limited knowledge of magic that remained from your NRC days.
On one such experiment, your environment started to shift as a wave of magical energy engulfed you. When you opened your eyes again, he was there, right in front of you
Tumblr media
Hina (日来) with 日 meaning "sun, day" and 来 meaning "coming, future"
Leona reminded you of a shining sun that radiated warmth and light in your life, of how the it would surely shine again no matter how dark the night seemed, and so you named your daughter after that image
your daughter has the clearest emerald eyes and flowing dark brown locks that you often braided in a similar style to her father's
she's very energetic, always curious and asking questions, eager to learn more about the world around her
she's an obedient child, although she's eager to seek your affection and may whine a bit when things don't go her way
if there was one thing that was similar to the Leona you knew, it's that she's extremely clingy and constantly seeks physical affection, hugging your legs and asking for you to carry them any chance she has
and also the fact that she enjoyed her naps a bit too much
her lion ears are a bit of an issue in our world, but you often hide them with hoods, clever hair styling, or simply saying it's a costume
when you told her about the brilliant man her father is, she grew really excited about the possibility of meeting him, and started playing around with magic more to be like the intelligent mage he is
and then it happened, just an ordinary afternoon practicing magic had the two of you transported back to twisted wonderland, face to face to Leona
somehow, he had grown even more handsome in the years you hadn't seen him, but instead of his lazy smile, he looked confident and powerful, like the leader he was always meant to be
A sudden gust of magic swept through the air behind him as he raised his staff in response, only to immediately drop it in shock as your figure came into sight, and beside you, a small child that he had never seen before.
"Herbivore..." he whispered.
Without a second thought, Leona rushed towards you, his heart beating wildly in his chest. He felt a lump forming in his throat as he reached out to embrace you tightly.
"This better not be a dream," he murmured into the crook of your neck as he inhaled your scent. "It's really you."
after a tearful reunion and introduction, Leona quickly excuses himself from his duties with a quick meeting with Falena, and helps you and Hina settle into the palace
since you left, Leona's been working hard to do what he can do as per your promise with him
he's now in charge of foreign affairs and on better terms with his brother after much needed communication
he showers you in affection, he's even clingier than before that it almost starts a rivalry with your daughter
he puts in a lot of effort to spend time with Hina, learning her likes and dislikes and bonding over magic
uncle jack and ruggie are always fun to be around and play with her
though it wasn't his fault, leona feels guilty you had to bare the responsibility on your own for so long, and he puts in a lot of effort to make amends for any mistakes work to build a strong relationship with you two
he has a family now, and you're damn sure he'll protect it with his life
Leona looked down at Hina, feeling a sense of pride and wonder at the little girl standing before him. "Hey there," he said, his voice gentle. "Nice to meet ya, kiddo."
Hina stared at him, her eyes searching his face. "Are you my dad?" she asked, her voice small and uncertain.
Leona's heart ached at the question, knowing that he had missed so much of her life. "Yeah, I'm your dad," he said, reaching out to take her hand.
Hina looked at him for a moment before a smile spread across her face. "Can you show me magic?" she asked, her eyes lighting up with excitement.
Leona felt a sense of joy at her words, feeling a connection with her that he had never felt before. "Of course I can," he said, standing up and taking her hand. "What do you wanna see?"
Tumblr media
Sakura (桜) meaning "cherry blossoms"
your daughter has sleek teal hair that reminds you of the sea, a single strand of dark hair, and mismatched eyes in the same manner as Floyd
Floyd had lovingly given you the nickname "Shrimpy", and it only felt right for your daughter to be named Sakura, after the tiny sakura-shrimp
she's incredibly mischievous and there's not a moment of silence with her, she's spontaneous and playful and you've got your hands full
though she is very considerate of you and will listen to your words, she's uncontrollable when she's bored and in need of a spark of interest
she's also a squeezer, much like her father, and hugs you every time she sees you or anyone she likes, and you're thankful her strength hasn't developed too much yet
she enjoys biting you, albeit gently, and you find your arms littered with bite marks, but it's her unique way of showing affection
her eel form won't show unless she's been in the water for too long (thankfully), and she enjoys squeezing you in her eel form even more
ever so curious, she's asked about her father many times, and you've told her how carefree and easygoing her father is, and that he'd love her the moment she saw her
which leads you to her magic actually teleporting you to him, her spontaneous idea having manifested itself, and you found in a dimly lit room similar to the Mostro Lounge
Floyd looked matured, his hair sleeked back and his features sharpened, though his wry smile that you loved had stayed the same
Floyd's eyes widened with shock and disbelief, and his steps quickened as he rushes towards you, his long arms outstretched in a gesture of longing. As he got closer, he noticed the beautiful and curious-looking child standing close to you.
"Shrimpy?" he said, his voice barely above a whisper. "No way... It's really you!"
Floyd pulled you close, holding you tightly as if he never wanted to let go. "I missed ya so much, I wish I hadn't let ya go," he said, his voice choked with emotion as tears threatened to spill. "You're not allowed to leave again, okay?"
Floyd is so ecstatic he can't stand still, once he's calmed down a bit, be immediately carries Sakura and drags you to Jade and Azul
Azul and Jade are pleasantly surprised at your return, and it's a warm welcome back
the two of them are glad Floyd won't be moping any time soon
the trio have now expanded into a franchise and divulged into many businesses, though Floyd largely acts as Azul's right-hand man
Now that you're back, he refuses to be apart from you, always holding onto you tightly and afraid you might disappear just like how suddenly you appeared
he does get mood swings where he's upset or angry, not at you though, just at how unfair things were and how he couldn't be there for you
he's a good eel who does everything to make sure you and Sakura are happy and comfortable, often cooking meals for you two
he's so curious about Sakura and enjoys playing with her and lifting her high up in the air
don't worry, he's extremely careful, this precious gem is why you got back to him!
Jade is the best uncle and Sakura wants to marry him??? (honestly same)
poor Azul is getting pranked by the daughter- father duo, though Sakura does comfort him afterwards with squeezes and kissss
Floyd looked down at Sakura, and he saw her staring back at him with wide, curious eyes in the opposite colours of his eyes. Though she resembled him physically, there was an air about her that was so distinctly his Shrimpy.
"Heya," Floyd said, trying to sound friendly. "I'm your dad."
Sakura giggled and reached out to him, her tiny hands grasping at his hands. Floyd froze, not sure what to do, letting her yand his hand forward. But then, she opened her mouth and bit down on finger.
"Hey!" Floyd cried, pulling back in surprise.
Sakura just laughed, her eyes sparkling with mischief. Floyd couldn't help but laugh too, despite the pain in his finger.
"Yer a feisty one, aren't ya, Sakura-shrimpy?" he teased, grinning down at her as he ruffled her hair. "You know," he whispered, "you can't just go around biting people like that. But I like your style."
Tumblr media
Isami (功己) 功 meaning "achievement, credit, honour, merits" and 己 meaning "self, serpent, snake."
your son has smooth ebony locks and sharp grey eyes that make him look slightly intimidating
Jamil had shown you how much he valued his achievements over his social status, so you chose a name the could embody him
he's a quiet child who's always attentive and careful
he's rather shy in front of other people, but when it's you he'll soak up all of your affection and stare at you with longing eyes seeking praise
he's a cute helper at home too! he always volunteers to help you with chores and cook in the kitchen, though you're careful he's not close to anything sharp or dangerous
he does have an inherent fear of bugs, something he's inherited from Jamil, but thankfully you've taught him to be less destructive than his father
do expect screams and for him to be crying as a little fly chases him around though
he's incredibly smart and talented at magic, easily grasping the concepts of magic you can only teach him theoretically
when you told him about his father, you've told him about the diligent man that his father is, and how would let his guard down around those he treasured
he had listened quietly without much of a change in his expression, but you could tell there was a bubbling excitement building up in his eyes
and no long after that, he managed to teleport the two of you to a warm, airy room of marble walls
Jamil's features had sharpened, he seemed more openly confident and comfortable with himself
Jamil's heart skipped a beat as he saw you. It had been five years since he bid your farewell at the mirror chamber and lost you forever. And yet here you were standing here in front of him with a child in tow, a child who resembled him so much.
"It can't be..." he murmurs.
Without hesitation, Jamil dropped all the papers and rushed towards you, his heart pounding furiously. His eyes locked with yours, and in that moment, time seemed to stand still. He could see the love and longing still shining in your eyes, and he knew deep down that he had never stopped loving you.
Jamil couldn't stop the tears that began streaming down his face. "I've missed you so much," he said, his voice raspy. "Letting you go is the worst decision I've ever made." He reached out and pulling you into a tight embrace, his arms shaking with emotions.
he's a bit overwhelmed but still so thankful you're back in his life
Kalim barges in at this time and exclaims in surprise at your return and ??? OMG JAMIL YOU HAVE A SON?!!
Jamil has half a mind to dissuade him from holding a banquet immediately to welcome you back, and instead take things slow to not overwhelm you or Isami
asks Kalim for some privacy and the second he's away, he melts into your embrace
he hasn't felt so at ease in so long
if he wakes up in the morning and you're not right there beside him, he's panicking and searching all over the place for some confirmation you're still here
he's very curious about Isami and asks him all sorts of questions to piece together his development and personality
they definitely have a rivalry over who's braver over bugs but it just ends up with the two hugging you for safety
he's a bit awkward with how careful he is with his emotions, so it takes Isami some time to fully trust him
but trust me, Jamil will go above and beyond for his family and there's no way Isami will have to endure what Jamil did in his childhood
Jamil's eyes widened in surprise and wonder. He couldn't believe that they had created a life together. He knelt down to the Isami' eye level and looked into his eyes. "Hello there," he said, his voice gentle and warm. "What's your name?"
Isami starred back at him, his eyes wide with distrust and caution before he buried his face in your legs. Jamil chuckled softly. "It's okay," he comforted. "You don't have to be shy around me. I'm your dad."
Isami looked up at him again, this time with a mix of curiosity and wonder. "Daddy?" they said, testing the word out.
Jamil smiled warmly as nodded, his heart swelling with love and joy. "Yes, daddy," he parroted. "And I promise I'm never going to leave you or your mommy again."
Tumblr media
Yuri (百合) meaning "lily"
Lilia's name always reminded you for lily flowers, and what better name for your daughter to embody him?
your daughter has straight raven hair with some of the hair flipping upwards resembling two horns, angular fae ears, and bright crimson eyes
she's always up for pranks and mischief, it's rare to see her without a smile
she loves exploring places, if you keep your eyes off her for one second, she's letting her curiosity take her to whatever she wants
if you're serious and stern though, she will listen to you, she wouldn't dare make her mother upset!
she's friendly with everyone and isn't shy to say hi to neighbors or absolute strangers
she's not overly affectionate, but she definitely enjoys hugs and kisses from you
she has an odd habit of taking stray animals back home in an attempt to adopt them, so you have little adventures with her trying to find an owner
do not let her in the kitchen
she has surely inherited her father's cooking abilities, somehow, she can render even a piece of toast beyond human consumption
magic comes as second nature to her, and she's always standing on ceilings
gosh her eyes absolutely sparkled when you told her about the teasing and mischievous fae that is her father
and soon, the portal opened and you found yourself in a gothic castle lit up by green candles
He's a lot taller, his hair longer and reaching his waist, and more enchanting than ever
Lilia stood in shock as your family figure come into sight. In all his years of living, he had never been so utterly stunned. After all these years, you had finally returned to him.
"Beastie..." Lilia gasped, his voice catching in his throat.
With a surge of energy, Lilia broke free from the trance-like state and hurried towards you, his hair streaming behind him like a dark flag as he enveloped you tightly in his embrace. "After all these years, you've truly come back to me?"
Carefully, Lilia held you at arm's length, studying your matured features, etching them into his memory like a cherished work of art. His eyes traced the lines and contours of your face, memorizing every detail that time had etched upon you.
"My, how you've grown," Lilia murmured, a mix of pride and wistfulness coloring his words. "The years have shaped you into a remarkable individual."
it's family reunion time!!!
he immediately drags you to the throne room where malleus, silver and sebek are
malleus is now king with two incredibly reliable bodyguards, and Lilia's his most trusted advisor
malleus is so glad his dear human friend is back, silver is satisfied that his father will have someone to be with, and sebek is screaming about Yuri, though she enjoys his loudness
for a while, Lilia is extremely affectionate, trying to make up for all the years that had gone by
when you're sleeping together at night, he hugs you tightly and it's difficult to leave his embrace
he definitely tries to cook for you two, going on and on about how the two of you need to stay healthy and need lots of nutrients
you always volunteer your portion for Yuri, and she'll gladly eat whatever her father has cooked for her
silver is an older brother often on babysitting duty, and Yuri loves watching him spar with sebek and also wants to learn
Sebek is quite fond of Yuri, and he sees his half-fae self in her
Lilia is always trying to fun with Yuri, bouncing her high up in the air and teaching her to hang upside down and swing around
plans so many family vacations, he can't wait to be exploring places with his two darlings
"Is she... ours?" Lilia asked. At your nod, he reached out to caress Yuri's cheek, his touch gentle as if he were touching fragile porcelain.
"Well, I'll be damned," Lilia chuckled, his voice cracking with emotion. "I never thought I'd be a father again. But I'm glad to meet you, little one. What's your name?"
Yuri giggled and and beamed at his touch. "My name's Yuri," she said, her voice sweet as honey.
"Yuri," Lilia repeated, his heart swelling with emotion. "What a beautiful name for my beautiful girl," he reached up to fondle her hair. "You know, Yuri," Lilia said, his voice growing serious. "I may not have been there for you when you were born, but I promise I'll always be here for you from now on. No matter what happens, I'm your father, and I'll always love you darling."

In chapter 28, Marcille lays out why the journey she's been on has been worth the pain: because they were able to bring Falin back. The injuries, the indignity, and the mess of it all - they are tolerable primarily in context of destination she believes she's reached at this point.
In truth, of course, the story is far from finished. In fact, I would argue that this is actually where hers really starts. This scene holds the seed of the very thing the Winged Lion will exploit to lead Marcille to become the Lord of the Dungeon. After all, with a desire as far reaching and deeply held as Marcille's, if the only acceptable outcome is success, what other choice does she have but to bargain with the infinite?
So let's talk about this idea - where it leads her, how Laios' path intersects with it, and how they both help each other move forward in the face of failure.
First though, I want to step back and talk about something else: the shapeshifter chapters.
With these chapters recently covered by the anime, there has, of course, come plenty of fun discussions about which version of each character belongs which other character's perceptions, and what that means.
One thing I've seen pointed out a few times is the fact that both Laios and Marcille's impressions of each other are based around Falin. Marcille's version of Laios is larger and more masculine, because those are the traits that stuck out to her in contrast to Falin. Laios' version of Marcille was directly inspired by her appearance and demeanor when resurrecting Falin.
So why is this important to a discussion about Marcille being focused on success? Well, it shows us where Laios and Marcille's relationship starts: built primarily around their shared love for Falin. It's from that shared beginning that they begin to learn about each other on their own terms.
And this is true for the whole group, to be clear. They are united by circumstance - love for a lost companion, a sense of responsibility, a desire for freedom - but they all grow and help each other beyond that circumstance. They help Senshi bury the ghosts of his past and eat some Hippogriff stew. They help Izutsumi open up to mutual love and friendship. And they learn so much about each other: about Chilchuck's family and Laios' love of monsters and Marcille's desires to live life alongside others.
In the particular case of Marcille and Laios, understanding each other is what lets them save each other. It is not through Falin that Laios talks Marcille down from the edge the Lion has brought her to, nor is it through her that Marcille comforts Laios after the demon is defeated, when it is still unclear how everything will work out.
In fact, it is very specifically the unknown fate of Falin that Marcille comforts him about.
Tumblr media
She is willing to accept the outcome - willing, now, to embrace the journey itself, rather than only accepting it as a means to an end.
This is a lesson she learns from Laios, and it's a lesson we watch Laios learn, too.
Just before making her deal with the Lion, Marcille recalls everything that led her to that moment. She lingers on the pain, recalling the worst of their journey:
Tumblr media
She only pushes through by remembering her goals: saving Falin, and equalizing the lifespans of her friends to match her own.
And yet, 10 chapters later, when reflecting on why she actually wants to see her goals through, it is the good parts of that very same journey that shine through.
Tumblr media
There's an inherent contradiction here, one which Marcille doesn't know how to face. How can the suffering that she tolerates also be the love that drives her forward? How can the loss that she's worked so hard to reverse also be the very circumstance that created a world she, now, cannot stand to give up?
And Laios confronts her with the truth. Because it just is.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Losing Falin forced him to open up to others in a way he never had. It forced him to choose what he cares about, and in making that choice, it gave him the opportunity to be seen. To connect with others.
He has already had to come to terms with the fact that Falin's death has given him something - he would not have been able to kill her again if he hadn't.
Tumblr media
There is something here that is fundamental to Dungeon Meshi's understanding of what life even is. Like, I don't think it's a coincidence that part of Laios' speech to Marcille in chapter 85 is actually first seen in the chapter where they fight off ghosts.
Tumblr media
In 'Sorbet,' while possessed , Laios thinks that it would have been better if the dragon had eaten him, instead of Falin. The ghosts make people lose their will to live - they are dragged away from life.
When he's pulled back from that brink, Laios realizes that he can't move forward without accepting that she is gone. He even compares the way he was holding on to her to being possessed: it pulled him away from life, from the present moment.
Tumblr media
To carry on, he must accept what has been lost, and focus on protecting the life that they still have.
Tumblr media
Like Marcille, he has to accept the contradictions of their journey. That life means eating, and eating requires death. That sometimes one must be selfish in order to be kind, and that selflessness can easily be twisted into to cruelty.
That loss will, inevitably, lead you to find happiness that you may not have found otherwise.
Tumblr media
This is how he gets through to Marcille. And I think part of the reason he reaches her with these specific ideas is because those contradictions are baked so thoroughly into their relationship.
Marcille only met Falin after she had been left behind by Laios. Laios was able to reconnect with Falin because she left Marcille. They both met each other through Falin, and yet they only really got to know and care for one another after she died.
And of course, that's why Marcille uses the same ideas to comfort Laios, in the final chapter. It is because of Laios that she is able to accept the journey for itself, and not need the happy ending to justify its meaning to her.
Together, they help each other move forward, and accept that they may not be able to bring Falin back.
Tumblr media
Which, if I'm being honest... I think this is the reason Falin can come back, narratively speaking, without the resurrection feeling like it takes away from the themes of the story.
After all, she doesn't do it for Marcille or Laios - she does it for her own sake. Her own hunger and her own desire to eat are the things that lead her back to life.
All three of them, together, end the story like this: not clinging to the things they are afraid to lose, but knowing they can choose to move forward together.
Tumblr media
And, importantly, this happy ending is no longer the thing that gives the journey meaning. Rather, it is the privilege of the journey itself that is her happy ending: the chance to walk alongside others in the time they have, to get to know each other, and to eat well.

Sweet Thing
pairing: rhysand x reader
[ 1 ] [ 2 ] [ 3 ]
part 4 of the shy!reader massage mini series
Tumblr media
warnings: swearing, sexual implications, possible violence, jealousy, gambling, male egos, petnames (bc being called bunny is so cute and soft, fight me on it)
summary: Your High Lord hosts a party with a dozen hothead Illyrian soldiers where you become the main attraction
“Stay close,” Rhysand murmurs in your ear, a warm hand pressed at the low of your back to guide you into the large room. It’d been recently renovated; not yet decorated and you'd assumed it was turned into a makeshift meeting area, a giant table pushed in the middle with a dozen chairs wrapped around it. It was also the furthest room from your own—a little detail that Rhys quickly bristled over when you'd mentioned it earlier. “Wanted to keep my good luck charm close by tonight.”
Your cheeks warm under the words, annoyingly aware of how sensitive your body had become in response to the High Lord since that night. It haunted your every breath; his barely contained need, the throbbing cock just a few measly layers away from being everything you’d ever dreamed of and Rhysand fed off of it like ravenous wolves who'd been starved three winters over. The teasing was merciless; heated touches and sinful words of remembrance haughtily whispered in your ear when you were supposed to be concentrating.
“Tell me what you’re thinking about.” You shy out of his touch, the hunger in his voice unmistakable and creating distance is easy when the others begin to filter in. A dozen or so pristinely dressed males of all sizes briefly greet Rhysand, hands clapping at each others backs and the testosterone that filtered in was thick enough to suffocate. They were friends; guys he’d fought and bled with, people he’d known for hundreds of years all gathered for card games and expensive glasses of liquor.
You were only there to help, to look pretty and shuffle the cards and stay close to Rhys—easy enough. “I’m thinking I should’ve dressed better.”
His fingers trace over the pleated pattern of your skirt, the soft purple fabric teasing at the middle of your thigh and all he can smell is some fruit on your skin—pomegranate? pear? “You look perfect, don’t worry about all them. You’ll be collecting their money for me by the end of the night.” Rhys is touchy; shamelessly so in front of others and you notice a few of the guests beginning to take you in, their stares raking up your form, sizing you up and you can feel Azriel shift closer from beside you.
"You always did have the prettiest little things hanging off your shoulder, Rhysand." Your head slowly turns to face the drawling voice, male entitlement and an incredulous amount of confidence seeping from every pore. Handsome and wealthy, but the allure dies the moment his mouth opens. The tailored suit alone was worth three months of the average faes rent and then some. "You have to tell me where you found this one."
Rhys laughs but you can tell there's no real humor behind it, his hand raising to wrap around your waist and pull you in closer; enough for your thighs to skim on the arm rest of his chair. The body language is possessive no matter how casual it’s intended to be and you catch Cass and Az sharing a look—mentally agreeing to pounce when they deemed fit.
Like salivating lions dressed in sheep's clothing.
"Couldn’t tell you, Maverick, she just stumbled in my lap."
He's trying to hold back for the benefit of the greater good—that was the whole point of inviting them over in the first place. Even after Mor had insisted that it was the dumbest idea ever inviting a dozen ill-tempered Illyrian soldiers and filling them up with booze. "I'd love to see her stumble in mine."
Your reaction is instinctual after feeling the High Lord's shoulders tense under your fingers and in seconds your hands are gently kneading at the muscle there, a palm running soothing lines up the length of his back and manicured nails scratch wonderfully at the nape of his neck until a bit of that darkness subsided. With a hum, you gently push his hand from your waist, backing away with a pitch only audible to him, "Gonna grab you guys some drinks."
"I'll help." You don't even try denying the spymaster, more than familiar with his customs and how unbearably uncomfortable he got once you started taking care of large groups of people. Az was always the first to say thank you when you served dinner and always made sure to wait until you sat down and took the first bite before even touching his fork.
He's quiet behind you, busying his hands with polishing the glasses you'd lined up and his shadows follow you around like a clingy pet but you understand why he's there—a silent promise that he'd have your back the entire night. That you’d never be left alone.
Azriel watches you pour a six-hundred year old bottle of amber liquor one knuckle deep for every cup besides one—that one got double and a single ice cube. Just how the High Lord liked it. "It's going to be fine," You tell him softly, storing away the rest of the bottle and you don't fight the smile that pulls when he stops you from carrying anymore than three glasses—brunting the rest of the work on the shadows. "Just a few hours and it'll all be over."
Azriel only hums but there's an underlying gratefulness for not having to speak or explain and his protectiveness towards you grows at how easily you understand him—adapting to his moods with ease.
He returns to his seat, shadows wisping their thanks over the length of your calf and a sweet smile is sent Cassian's way when he presses a grateful kiss to your hand. You turn to go back to Rhys, one final drink in your hand and you can feel Maverick's eyes trailing you, undressing you, touching and lusting from afar but he might as well have been shouting it across the room from the top of his lungs. "Come sit, bunny. And shuffle the deck, will you? They think I cheat."
"We know you do." Another male chuckles over the rim of his glass, blue eyes sharp and tawny curls tickle at the sides of his ears—Cade, you learn after a few minutes of listening in silence. You sift through the deck, righting the cards and splitting them in two before shuffling once, twice, a third time before you set it before you to be split by another. “Look at the hands on this one,” Cade poorly whispers to Maverick, shoulders bumping playfully and you felt like you were being hunted, ganged up on—eaten alive by males who didn’t follow the same code as the ones you hung around. “I bet they get the job done quite nicely.”
Rhysand has no time to respond because Cass is already doing it; gold battles with blue, large hands broadcasted before him and the General looks down at them to peer like a high maintenance woman after her nail appointment. “You should look at mine,” Crimson red Siphons glow with life on his arms; all seven of them, most hidden by the dark long sleeved shirt he wore but the message got across rather quickly. “I’m sure they’ll do it much better.”
You shift in Rhys’ lap, settling into the hands splayed around your waist, the other trails ticklish lines up the length of a bare arm and you’re grateful for how quickly the conversation shifts. “What do I do now?”
The low cadence of his voice rumbles against your back, hair gently pushed off one shoulder to make room for the chin that settles there. His instructions are thorough and intended to be purely informational but the smell of his cologne, the large hands sliding down lower to rub at the sides of your thighs and you’re unbearably aware of the plush of your ass nestled right atop of him. Cards are dealed, the rest left in a pile and you slowly draw three, facing them upright and most of the rest is a bit of a blur.
Every now and then Rhys will lean closer to mumble about what was going on but mostly it was just a room full of drunk males and their money. They cursed like sailors and laughed like hyenas, a chorus of voices overlapping the other until the liquor took its course and the true personalities settled in.
At some point you stand, hands grazing the back of Rhys’ neck when you mutter something about grabbing a snack. You’re not far, maybe a few feet away, body just barely obscured by the wall that separates them and the kitchen while you pile a plate full of finger food to snack on; fruit, mini sandwiches, warm meats wrapped in flaky dough and you’re pulled away from your focus when a voice clears. “There you are,” Maverick doesn’t look shitfaced but the liquor was definitely taking its toll, his steps a little unsteady and he slurred the s’s in his words. “How about you come rub my shoulders for me, sweet thing?”
Your brows furrow, mouth opening to give a response when the males hand raises to trace the line of your collarbone, you freeze. Four fingers graze over your shoulder and slowly moves down the length of your arm. “I don’t think—“
“I’m not asking you to think, sweet thing.” Your stomach churns, discomfort evident in the way you crane away from his touch but Maverick doesn’t care—as if unreciprocated want wasn’t an issue for him. “I’m telling you to come over here and offer up some of that treatment you’ve been feeding those three,” His eyes feel like hands in the way they roam your body, catching on bare skin and practically salivating to see the rest. “Swear I’ll return the favor.”
Your heart hammers in your chest and anxiety swells—you really should’ve just stayed put, the food in your hand threatening to spill to the floor with the intensity of your shaking but Maverick feels so close and you can smell his cologne; the whiskey. “I should get back to Rhys.” It’s no more than a whisper but when you try to slink past him, a hand clamps tightly around your arm, roughly tugging you back.
“Where the fuck do you think you’re going?”
A whimper escapes and just like that the kitchen explodes with darkness; relief overtakes your form as familiar hands tug you close and the arms that tuck you in close feel right—safe. Safe enough to not notice the warm spray of wetness that splatters against the back of your legs until you hear the steady drip, drip, dripping on the floor. Your head turns but before you can look Rhysand is tucking you in tighter, full lips pressing kisses to the top of your head. “Don’t look—let’s just get you cleaned up.”
“What about the others?”
“Cassian and Azriel will handle them,” The High Lords voice isn’t nearly as calm as you remember and it’s only when you’re halfway down the hallway does he loosen his grip a bit, turning you to face him to begin his assessment. “Did he hurt you? Did he fucking touch you?”
You can’t form words, realization beginning to form when you see blood splattering your clothes but you manage to shake your head. “He just grabbed me—Rhys did you—“
“I shouldn’t have let you go alone.”
“It was just a second.”
“A second longer and he could’ve—“ He stops himself from saying more; too afraid to make the words reality or too pissed to have to verbalize them but Rhys lets out a deep breath when he can find no damage besides a hint of a bruise. “I should’ve taken my time.”
You don’t need to ask to know what he means.
Instead, you place a palm on his cheek in hopes to ground him, to remind the High Lord that you were safe. Violet eyes soften, silver flecks catching in the light and it takes everything in you not to buckle beneath him when he looks at you like that—like it was nothing to kill for you. “Let’s go, I’d say it’s about time you return the favor and give me a massage.”
Mischief glints in those eyes, a smirk curling at the corner of full lips. “I can’t promise I’ll remain professional.”
“That’s sort of what I’m counting on.”

The Heartbeat of Nekoma
Word Count: 809
Warnings: None
Headcanons: Nekoma x Fem! Manager ︶꒦꒷♡꒷꒦︶︶꒦꒷♡꒷꒦︶︶꒦꒷♡꒷꒦︶︶꒦꒷♡꒷꒦︶
The gymnasium of Nekoma High was alive with the sound of volleyballs thumping against the floor, the sharp whistle of the coach, and the occasional cheer or groan from the team. In the midst of this controlled chaos was Y/N, the team’s manager and the only girl among these lions. She moved with a purpose, her clipboard clutched in one hand and a first aid kit swinging from the other.
Kenma Kozume, usually lost in his own world, often found himself watching Y/N. Her ability to anticipate the team’s needs before they even voiced them was something he admired silently. He didn’t say much, but when he did, she always listened, her nods and thoughtful hums encouraging him to share more than he usually would. She knew exactly when to offer a silent nod of encouragement or a gentle nudge to join the team’s activities. Her notes on his gameplay were always precise, helping him refine his strategies without a word wasted.
Tetsurou Kuroo, with his wild hair and wilder schemes, relied on Y/N to keep him grounded. She had a knack for cutting through his antics with a sharp word or a pointed look, bringing him back to the task at hand. Yet, she was always there to share a laugh or a moment of triumph, her presence a steady beat in the rhythm of the team.
Lev Haiba, his enthusiasm often got the better of him, leading to more than his fair share of scrapes and bruises. Y/N was always there, her first aid kit at the ready, her gentle chiding mingling with Lev’s sheepish apologies. “You’re like a guardian angel,” he’d say, and she’d roll her eyes but smile all the same while she patched up another scrape. Her gentle scolding about being careful was something he secretly looked forward to.
Morisuke Yaku, the team’s rock, appreciated Y/N’s quiet strength. Her meticulous records helped him track his progress, and her motivational words before matches always seemed to strike the right chord, pushing him to dive deeper and reach further.
Taketora Yamamoto, would often find himself pouring out his heart to Y/N, her easy manner inviting confidences. She listened with an open heart, her advice always practical yet kind. She reminded him that fire needed air to burn bright, a lesson he took to heart both on and off the court.
Nobuyuki Kai, the vice-captain, saw Y/N as the glue that held the team together. Her organizational skills ensured that every practice ran smoothly, and her ability to juggle responsibilities was nothing short of miraculous.
Shouhei Fukunaga, ever the quiet observer, found a kindred spirit in Y/N. Their conversations were often just shared glances and knowing smiles, but the understanding between them ran deep. He enjoyed the quiet moments he shared with her, often helping her collect the volleyballs after practice. Her soft-spoken advice resonated with him, teaching him that strength didn’t always have to be loud.
Sō Inuoka, loved Y/N’s encouraging pep talks. Her pep talks were the fuel to his fire, her words igniting a passion for the game that he channeled into every leap and dive.
Coach Yasufumi Nekomata, saw Y/N as a rare gem, her dedication to the team’s well-being reminding him of the true spirit of the sport. Their discussions on strategy and player development were highlights of his day, her insights often illuminating paths he hadn’t considered.
Despite her involvement in other clubs and her tendency to stretch herself thin, Y/N never let it show. The team knew, though. They saw the exhaustion hidden behind her smile and the way her eyes would sometimes flutter shut during long strategy meetings.
It was during one such after school practice that Y/N’s head began to nod, her pen slipping from her fingers. Kenma was the first to notice, gently propping her up with a cushion. Kuroo signaling for a break, Lev draping a jacket over her like a blanket. Yaku adjusted the air conditioning to ensure she was comfortable, and Yamamoto stood guard, ensuring no one disturbed her rest. As Y/N slept, the team exchanged looks of silent agreement. They would finish practice early today. It was their turn to take care of the person who always took care of them.
When Y/N awoke, she found herself surrounded by her team, their practice finished, each face wearing a soft smile. “We’ve got it from here,” Kuroo said, handing her a bottle of water. “You’ve done enough for today.” Her heart swelled with affection for these boys, her team.  Kai  “You take care of us; now let us take care of you.” They were more than just players she managed; they were her family. And as they walked out of the gym together, she knew that together, they were unstoppable.

So there was a Reddit post a while back, talking about Yuu's scars from overblots. So... How would the boys react to Overblot scars <3
Trigger Warnings:
Possible OOC for the boys, no beta, hurt (bcs scars) and comfort <3
Any other important info?: Yuu actively hides the scars
Heartslabyul (You are here!) - Savanaclaw - Octavinelle - Scarabia - Pomefiore - Ignihyde - Diasomnia
HEARTSLABYUL
Riddle Rosehearts
- In all honesty, Riddle at first didn't notice that his overblot caused more problems
- However, he did notice the fact you started to cover up your neck, but if he approached you with it, you just shrugged him off with "It's just getting really cold!"
- Gaslight, gaslight, gaslight, that was YOUR idea.
- Was the poor Riddle concerned about you? Absolutely. But was there anything he could do? Not really, he did his best to support you, even sometimes turning a blind eye to the dress code. (He did suffer teasing tho, but he was able to put people into their place)
- The problem sadly only got worse, with each overblot, more scars appeared. More clothes to hide them.
- Eventually, there was nowhere to run, lies ran out, and there was just the pure confrontation.
- It was in that moment, Riddle realized how much you were suffering. In silence.
- From scar around your neck (that you hesitantly chocked out with tears that was from him) to burn mark on your leg.
- He saw it all, and you felt awful. The secret was out, and you wanted to hide. He was never supposed to see.
- Yet he took your hand, held it softly, as if you were made of glass. There was sadness, and warmth in his eyes.
"I wish you told be this earlier. You matter to me. Please, don't hide this from me."
👑👑👑
Ace Trappola
- Ace sadly has a single braincell, which is shared with Deuce. And Grim.
- So, he absolutely did not realize that you got injured, not in the slightest.
- The random aah scarf you were wearing? He easily bought the 'I'm cold' excuse.
- But he noticed, or better said, he found out.
- It was just another boring class, when your sleeve ended up somehow scrolling up, and the nasty suction mark scar from Azul's overblot was perfectly visible on on it.
- You didn't realize until Ace snatched you by wrist, lied to Crewel that you were feeling sick and left the class.
- You were confused, as he was quiet, not saying a single word but dragging you into infirmary.
- He took a bandage, and wrapped it around the mark
- You realized what he noticed, and just as you were about to open your mouth, he hushed you.
"You got hurt because of me. I'm... Sorry. You better tell me if it happens again!!"
"Why should it happen again?"
"We have luck to get involved with overblots..."
♥️♥️♥️
Deuce Spade
- As mentioned, he shares his braincell with Ace, and Grim.
- Unlike Ace, however, he noticed something... odd, about you.
- Ever since Riddle's overblot, you started to wear a scarf... in fall?
- It reminded him of his mother, she also had the tendency to hide things from him.
- So when he asked, he was sad he got a lie as a response from you ("Just cold, don't worry")
- But he was willing to accept it, until the next Overblot with Leona.
- He immediately noticed the way you held your side, trying to stay calm and not show you were in pain.
- The second Leona was dealt with, he grabbed first aid kit, and immediately went to treat the wound.
- He was so shocked, as the wound was of magical property, no matter how the poor model student tried to help, the scars ended up forming - an ugly lion scratch.
- You wanted to cry, currently just from the pain
- Deuce held you close, letting you cry in his arms, not saying a word.
- After a while, you calmed down, and your eyes couldn't help but go to the ugly scar... Hatred slowly forming, not towards Leona, but towards yourself... You got wounded, aga......
"It shows you are brave, please, don't hate yourself over this. Makes you look strong."
♠️♠️♠️
Cater Diamond
- Cater LOVES taking photos, so when a scarf appeared around your neck, he thought it was a weird choice to wear
- "It's really fashionable where I'm from!" It was a lie, but Cater just accepted it
- But he did give you a side eye, each time your hands rubbed the scarf... Which happened suspiciously whenever Riddle was around.
- However, he wasn't stupid unlike the two first years that always got themselves into trouble
- However he thought there was a different reason for the scarf.... (and thought that you and Riddle were an item, oh boy he made so many rambling posts about that)
- Sadly, one day you were way too warm, and the scarf was killing you. So you just loosened it up, just a little bit more...
- And Cay-Cay just had a good (terrible) timing.
- "Come here! Let's take a photo together~ Cay-Cay and Prefect~"
- Snap, snap, snap.... you got dizzy from all the photos and flashes of the camera on his phone.
- Cater was checking the phones, being very picky about which he was going to choose (he wanted the prefect to look absolutely perfectly, because that's what you were to him)
- But then, in one of the photos, he saw it, the scar you were trying to hide. Clear mark from Riddle.
- Cater was shocked, and it made SO much sense. He pulled you close, a small hug, which caused you to be confused
"Why did you hide it?"
"Didn't want to make anyone worried."
"SMH. That's exactly what you just did!"
♦️♦️♦️
Trey Clover
- The Heartslabyul dad noticed you, very quickly.
- After dealing with Riddle's overblot, he noticed the next few days you were fidgety, and tried to dodge Riddle.
- The scarf was a big red flag. But any attempt at talking about it was met with you changing topics, or running away
- You would not talk about it. You didn't accept help. (What a headache...)
- So, he decided to help in a... unique way. Sweets. Tarts.
- Oh, he started to make way more, which did not escape Ace and Deuce, who were curious
- Too bad, they failed to get any information out of him. If you weren't going to tell him, he wasn't going to tell anyone else. He knew better than to break trust!
- So, even tho he didn't get to see the scar, he assumed there was one. And atleast, he was going to support you like this.
- So when you were relaxing, at the couch, and sipping a warm tea (while being covered in a clover-themed blanket you got from Trey) Trey decided to sit next to you
- He pulled you close, frowning a bit at the scarf around your neck (and a glove nowadays too, probably something from Azul's overblot...) but his gaze was... simply soft.
- He wasn't going to push you, he could wait.
"Whenever you are ready to share your secrets with me, know that I will be here, no matter what, you mean a lot to me."

See, I don't think that the Pevensie kids were uncanny and dangerous upon returning to England so much as just like. Cool weirdos.
Lucy talks to animals sometimes. She doesn't expect responses or anything; it has the same energy as a person talking to their dog, except it's the squirrel she spotted on the quad or the racoon in the garbage. But she's super friendly in general so after the initial "what the heck" everyone shrugs it off because like, yeah, of course she does. She also went with me to a scary doctor's appointment having known me for like five minutes and gave me an incredible pep talk. She's cool like that.
Peter joins the fencing club and day one it's like he's never held a foil in his life and day two he loses to a kid half his size but then after like a month he just absolutely annihilates the instructor. But he's super humble about it and afterwards he helps everyone else out without being condescending at all. And while it's a little weird that he's just Suddenly an expert, people are like, "he's a fast learner, that's cool." He's really industrious in class too, just Peter being Peter. He probably practiced a whole bunch after hours.
Edmund gets extremely weird food cravings sometimes, like "wow, I could really go for chicken liver with raisins right about now" or "you guys know what's great? Gooseberry trifles." And his friends say, "I've never heard of that before but it sounds weird." So Edmund learns to cook and starts making all these vaguely antiquated fancy dishes with weird berries and organ meats and things and shares them around during study breaks and everyone's like "Yo! Pevensie brought food. Cool, thanks Pevensie." And he shares it with everyone, even the kids nobody likes, and it kinda brings people together.
Susan, who was always the Mom Friend, seems to have gotten a power-up because now she Everyone's mom and weirdly people actually listen to her? But she only uses those powers for good. Girl in her dorm not eating enough? Susan's here with snacks and look at that now she's eating. Those guys arguing look like they're about to throw down? Susan says "knock it off" and glares and they do. And her friends are like, "how do you do it???" and she says "You just have to act like you expect to be obeyed." It's very cool, though it can be a bit Much sometimes.
And they're all into mythology now? Like ancient Rome and King Arthur and stuff? That's kinda weird, but not off-putting; lots of kids have mythology phases. And Peter named the tree outside his dorm, but everyone kinda laughs and says "yeah okay." Edmund is adamantly anti-bullying now, it's nice. Susan and Lucy wear a lot of lion-themed jewelry and people definitely Notice, but that just means that they start getting more of it for Christmas/birthdays.
And of course whenever two or more of them are together it's like they've got a conspiracy going on. They're always fervently whispering back and forth, giggling an the million inside jokes they've got, giving each other Looks. And onlookers are mostly just like, "Man, it's cool that those Pevensie kids are all so tight; I wish I was that close with my siblings."

𝕮𝖆𝖓 𝖞𝖔𝖚 𝖋𝖊𝖊𝖑 𝖙𝖍𝖊 𝖑𝖔𝖛𝖊 𝖙𝖔𝖓𝖎𝖌𝖍𝖙?
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Yuu has reached her limits, tired and without the strength to fight anymore, it is up to Leona to care for and restore her body and mind with devotion. Notes: Leona in this fic may be a little ooc, but I firmly believe that when he enters into a serious relationship with someone he will become more vulnerable and soft, taking care of the smallest details so that the person feels protected. He's very soft and sweet here, which we all need, right? (Fem!Yuu) You are not a machine, you do not run on steam and electricity. You are a human and you deserve to have your rest days. May this fic be a break for you and so that like Yuu you can have your rest.
This was one of those weeks.
Terrible. Exhausting. Desperate. With sleepless nights and days without eating properly.
And after finishing everything in the early hours of Friday to Saturday and handing over his work to Dire Crowley, because taking care of Grim and doing tasks in a magical world where you parachuted in is tiring enough, imagine the injustice when you still have to do the work of a therapist and do all the paperwork that Crowley forgot to do and threw everything into the shaking hands of the young woman without magic is even more tiring and an overload.
Yuu said goodbye to Grim who went yawning to Ramcharkle and called a sleeping lion to come get you, which was quick, considering he was just waiting for the sign of his love to pick her up on the flying broom and take her in bridal style .
Her friends started to worry because the symptoms were getting worse and worse, frequent headaches, irritation with the squad, confusing people's names and potion ingredients, refusing to stop to rest, because she always responded that she wasn't tired. But everyone saw and turned a blind eye when she fell asleep in the middle of classes, when she shook so much that she couldn't drink water properly, when her nails were always bleeding and her hair became brittle. Everyone was worried and didn't know what to do.
She was becoming increasingly sick and weak, a workaholic, and was unable to share the heavy burdens with anyone. She held the world on her shoulders, dividing herself into 100 so that the work could be done with excellence. Terrible idea, but necessary. She had water up her neck and was running out of air and options.
Jack, as a loyal friend, had the courage to tell Leona everything that was happening to Yuu, and that he, as her boyfriend, should do something. It was then that Leona swore that she would take care of her now, because if the discrepancies didn't lead anywhere, he would have to take drastic actions, like wrapping up an act in a burrito.
"Are you okay?"-Leona looked worried at her strangely cold and quiet form.
"Hunhun.." a yawn interrupted the little princess-"just tired…but fine" with a voice as loud as the whisper of a little mouse.
It didn't take long for them to get to Leona's room, and it took even less time for Yuu to trip on the carpet and hit the arm of the dresser next to the bed. Since when was that damn thing there? And then she threw herself on his spacious bed, still wearing her uniform and sneakers, and with makeup slightly smeared from the day's course on her face.
"Tsk… this herbivore."
The powerful and feared lion gently took off the girl's sneakers and placed her in a comfortable position, being careful not to wake her. And with the greatest care that hands made to destroy, he takes a cloth of warm water and delicately cleans Yuu's face of makeup, removing the excess mascara from her eyes, and the concealer that tried to hide the deep dark circles that were demonstrating the Yuu's exhaustion. Leona almost feels responsible for her tiredness, for her sadness, for not being able to help her enough, for not having been by her side when she deals with giants bigger than herself, for not having talked more about her carrying the world on her shoulders. That she is not alone.
And do you want to know the worst? That it wasn't the first time this was happening and it was getting more intense than before.
Leona was never one to believe in gods or be religious, but that night he prayed at the foot of the bed to whatever powerful being was in the heights, that he would always be by her side, that he would be strong enough to hold her. without trembling, so that one day she can be free and happy.
And when he went to lie down next to Yuu, he held her tight in her sleep, because at least in his arms she wouldn't have to deal with the threats of the world.
It was noon on Saturday morning when Yuu woke up from her more than deserved sleep, but she didn't have the strength to move enough and chose to sleep like a log for another 10 min…20…30… .. until her body decided it could become conscious.
By rubbing her eyes she tried to get used to the light in the place, or rather, the lack of light. Disoriented, she noticed that she wasn't in her precious Ramcharcle room, if she had been Grim would have woken her up for breakfast, meowing loudly until she had her tuna toast. She was then in….
"Good morning, princess." - said the gentle voice of the lion, he crossed the room and opened the curtains letting the sun shine. "How did sleeping beauty sleep?" he took the chance to get into bed with her
"Morning…" Yuu gave a heavy sigh and replied in a slightly worn voice, almost moaning from how refreshing the sleep was "Well…I slept well, my love. Did I give you trouble?"
"It's going to be trouble now" with a smile, Leona stood up and took her hand like a gentleman guiding her to the bathroom.
"Hey…I shower alone."
"This time you're going alone, but next time we'll be together" - he said with a damn smirk - "I have a gift for you"
At the entrance to the bathroom there was a beautiful gift basket. A basket with luxury skincare, recommended by the queen of Sunset Savanah herself and by a brand designed only for celebrities.
"Actually, I was going to give you this gift on our date next week. But my plans were advanced and today seems like a great opportunity." he smiled fondly and gave Yuu a kiss on the forehead before leaving to prepare something for her to eat.
The shower water was like a cold current that took away the thick layer of frustrations, fears, desires, and slowly brought the lightness of Yuu's heart, she smiled involuntarily when she saw that the basket's theme was for sleeping and relaxing, having exquisite notes of lavender and chamomile. He must be really worried. The body scrub renewed her skin, giving her a feeling of deep cleansing and freshness, and when she applied the shampoo and conditioner to her hair, she realized that it had been a long time since she had time to take care of herself with such patience. No spa day for days. No money for a new perfume. No time to take care of your body and mind. Even her nails, which were previously so vain and painted in different colors and interesting details, were bitten, she took out all her anxiety and stress on her nails, because what else could she do?
After a while in the bathroom, she came out and found a pair of clean, folded oversized pajamas on the bed. And she knew it was there for her, because Ruggie had perfected the lavender scent of the fabric softener, because Leona hates strong smells in his clothes.
"How do you feel? Do you want to sleep more?" Leona appeared at the bedroom door suddenly and approached Yuu.
"You arrived just in time, love. I'm just out of the shower" - Yuu wrapped her arms around the prince's waist, pulling him into a hug that was soon returned.
"We'll be eating in a bit. Ruggie is making your favorites and will bring them when ready."
"Great, now I'm going to comb my hair-"
"Nah nah nah bun, let me do it. Sit here." He said sitting on the bed, waiting for Yuu to sit in front of him. And she goes, used to his grooming.
You might think he wouldn't know how to take care of a person, and something as simple and intimate as combing someone else's hair could turn into a disastrous situation. But when it comes to Yuu, his partner, his mate, his equal, he makes a point of applying a cream first and massaging his princess's scalp, combing it with a comb designed for her hair, untangling the strands with tenderness and love. , mentally cursing the knots that dared to remain in Yuu's delicate mane.
How many times had Yuu done this for him in the dark and distressing days he had already gone through? And all he wants is to repay the love he received on a silver platter a thousand times over. Leos are very possessive of their mates, you know? An intense and protective love.
"Did you like the present?" he said, sniffing deeply Yuu's neck, inhaling the calming notes -" Farena's wife who recommendend this to me"
"Wow, what an honor that the queen personally chose my gift." she said laughing "But I did like it, just what I need at the moment."
"hey, I helped too. Don't give her all the credit."
"Oh yeah? And how did you help?"
"Saying whether it was approved or not, of course."
Yuu would comment further on this when he saw the strange pattern Leona was making in her hair.
"Hey baby, what are you doing?"
"I'm finishing your hair, it's like this, right? I researched your hair type online and saw that it's supposed to be styled like this."- If Vil saw this he would be horrified by Leona's messy hairstyle, but Yuu didn't care. This was because she was immensely grateful that her partner was taking care of her so well.
"Ow kitten, thank you." her heart was static, like a wound being healed little by little and it didn't hurt that much. "come here."
Yuu turned around and hugged the big cat, placing kisses on his cheek and mouth. "You're the best, love."
"Everything for you, darling." caressing her cheek and looking deep into the girl's eyes, he continued- "Just for you."
The moment was as delicate as a flower, vulnerable, two people healing each other through gestures and words, enjoying the calm and peaceful moment they hadn't had in days. And if the moment could last longer, it would, but a certain hyena had to enter just in time.
"Leona-sammm~ Yuu's lunch is here. Yuu, are you awake?"
Ruggie found Yuu sitting on the bed, smiling at him.
And Leona staring at him with a hateful face that said: "Don't you know how to hit, hyena?" with its tail wagging in annoyance, like a cat.
"How are you Yuu? This time you scared us so much shi shi shi~" he laughed in relief seeing that his friend, despite being tired, was recovering and left the snack on a small table next to the bed
"I'm getting better little by little… but I'm very hungry!" she said, getting up towards the table and enjoying the smell of the delicious food.
There were two sandwiches with shredded chicken, cheese and ham, lightly toasted, with a protein cream to accompany and two glasses of citrus juice.
Leona knew everything about Yuu and when he saw the eyes lit up by a simple food he knew that the plan had worked: Right at the beginning of their relationship, in a conversation about their childhood Yuu had confessed that her mother always made this sandwich when she was sick and tired to regain her energy, and always, always with a citrus juice to go with it.
He never forgot.
And he wants Yuu to know that even in her smallest details, he hasn't forgotten.
"Eat to your heart's content, we're going to need you tomorrow!" Leona immediately glared at Ruggie the moment he profaned those words.
"Uat weonna do?" with a voice full of food she asked
"Well, tomorrow will be-"
"There won't be anything Ruggie, let her rest. It's Sunday, she'll spend the day here." Leona roared quickly and to the point, wrapping an arm protectively around Yuu's waist.
"Ok ok relax, I'm joking bro shi shi shi~" covering his hand over his mouth he laughed softly, impressed as in any situation involving Yuu, Leona will show her claws to protect Yuu, that's a material for profocation later.
They spent the afternoon relaxing, he was sprawled out on Yuu's lap, while she responded to friends, comments, posts on her cell phone, laughing at her boyfriend's sarcastic comments, watching movies while eating popcorn, and when it was time to go to sleep, they were both cuddled up together, underneath with soft covers, in each other's arms whispering words of love.
"Thank you for today kitty, I felt like a spoiled little princess" she thanked the equally spoiled prince, who was currently having his ears stroked while listening to Yuu's heart, buried in her chest.
"Well, you better get used to it, from now on the treatment is real. And another thing, it doesn't scare me like that. If I see you working yourself to the bone, I'll ruin that crow's race myself."
The two laughed and when a comfortable silence reigned, he could only hear Yuu's breathing slowing down, calming down, and watching how her eyelids slowly became heavier, the good side of night vision.
"Hey Leona….." "Hmm?"
"…I love you" she approached and whispered incoherently with the sleep already taking over her body, on the lips of the lion prince who smiled and returned the kiss
"I love you too, my love." and with that his tail wrapped around Yuu's leg, pulling her closer. The stars are witnesses to this delicate romance, and between the purring of a lion and the slow massages of the princess's hair, the two got the rest they deserved.

The Prince and the Poet
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Aemond Targaryen x Lannister Reader Tag List
Synopsis: It is established that Prince Aemond hates poems and sonnets; it was just a pity that you adored them.
Warnings: Mature, 18+, Mutual Masturbation, Aemond Writes a Poem, Childhood Friends, Hidden Attraction, Not Proofread
Word Count: 2,900
Inspired by my Original Fic on AO3, The Den of Dragons and Lions
Tumblr media
Aemond scoffed and rolled his eye as he watched you completely enthralled by the sonneteer who performed before you. It had been un-endless hours he had to suffer as the court was subjected to watching poets read their works for the day’s entertainment. It was all too boring, all too frivolous, it was an utter waste of time. Aemond could not understand why you would willingly subject yourself to these men's trite and untrue words— whose delusions and desires were projected in their works. Aemond strongly believed that those who write poems and epics are weaklings and cowards. They do not have the courage to go on great adventures and woo their loves, so they can only imagine and write them down on parchment. And you were the sweet, naive fool who brought into their words—declaring their works beautiful and unparalleled. Blinded by flowery verses and empty promises.
You sigh longingly in your seat as the sonneteer before you recited your favorite sonnet of them all. Your lips silently move unconsciously as you recite your most favored work with him. Aemond, who sat by your side, sneered at the sigh that left your pillowy lips and the enchanted look in your eyes. His gaze traveled the court; every young maiden swooned by the words and looks of the sonnet who stood in the middle, reciting the work that you clung on to. When his torment finally ended, Aemond rolled his eye once more as you quickly stood and clapped your hands, an ovation for the young man who had finished his performance. Aemond did no such thing, only staring down the sonneteer who bowed and savored the praises given.
“I hope he shall return soon— and with new material!” You exclaimed to Helaena as you two walked the halls, arms linked together, Aemond trailing behind you. It was an old scene, your actions instilled since childhood. You practically grew up in the Red Keep with the princes and princess, a lion fostered by dragons.
You hear Aemond’s third scoff of the afternoon, making you glance behind only to see the consistent look of annoyance on his face. “I would take it you did not enjoy?” You say and face onward, feeling Aemond fasten his steps and now walking beside you and Helaena. “It is an utter waste of time; why must we spend hours on this frivolity when pressing matters could be attended to?” You roll your eyes at the Prince’s complaint.
“Aemond, your attendance was not required. If you believe poetry is a waste of time, I do not understand why you came there.” You say simply, pausing in your tracks. Helaena, a silent audience as you and Aemond began your ceaseless squabbles once more. Aemond was silent for a moment; the truth of his actions may not be revealed. “We did not force you to sit there and listen to Sir Liam— if anything, I’d prefer if you did not come; your glares and scoffs were seen and heard, and are very much unappreciated,” Aemond clenched his jaw as he had no response that he’d like to share. His eye traveled to his sister, who had a knowing smirk on her lips whilst you waited for his response that would not come.“I’ll see you both at supper,” Aemond grumbled as his eye landed on you, who bit back her smirk, the prince stomping away as you finally let your smile slip your lips.
“Must you really tease him? You perfectly know why he sat through the readings,” Helaena said as you and she sat in the gardens for tea. You picking at the candied lemons that you and Aemond would usually fight over. You smile as you lick your finger clean of the sugary syrup. “Yes, I know why he suffered through the readings. However, he is not aware that I am knowledgeable of his intent,” Helaena sighed, “How long will you make him suffer?” The princess asked, already impatient for the day her closest friend and brother would finally admit their attractions.
“Suffer?” You ask in shock, “I do no such thing! He inflicts his suffering himself—“ Helaena shook her head and laughed. “You’ve known of Aemond’s attraction to you for years! Yet you still act so clueless with him!” She reasoned. “I am a lady! I am expected to act chase and reserve. I cannot just go up to Aemond and confront him with his secret attraction!” You exclaimed with a fake and exaggerated look of scandal on your face, making Helaena laugh.
“If you are waiting for my brother to acknowledge and confess his attraction towards you, then you must wait— it might take him a lifetime.” Helaena mused, a hint of frustration and pity in her voice, for Aemond had wanted you since childhood; he was just afraid to let it be known. “Then I pity him… he could have had the golden beauty of the realm, but he chose to stay silent.” You say confidently— proud with the title bestowed upon you by lords and ladies, small and noble folk men who agreed that your beauty was as valuable and desirable as the gold your family was known for. Helaena hummed quietly and quickly prayed to the gods that her brother would soon admit his attraction, for Helaena knew that your pride would not subject you to confess your feelings first.
Tumblr media
“Just because you do not understand or care for poetry does not mean they are a waste!” You exclaimed as Aemond picked another fight with you. You were peacefully seated in Helaena’s chambers, stroking your cat's fur mindlessly as Aemond’s own pet lay beside you. You were in no mood to fight with him and battle his views of poetry. “They are! They’re pointless. If you must say something, then say it— why must they dance around the matter? Why must they go on and on about something that could be said in one sentence? Cowards, the likes of them are!” You let out an exasperated sigh, making Aemond smirk at your annoyance.
He finds you quite endearing at the state, which is why he often takes time out of his day just to annoy you. Relishing at the roll of your enchanting eyes, the sighs that leave your plump, pink lips, and the furrow between your perfectly arched brows. If he were lucky and had annoyed you to quite an extent, you’d stomp your foot like a spoiled child. Or simply wave him off with your pampered hand because you no longer had a word of defense.
“Because they are poets! They do not wish to come to the answer and their intentions all at once— they create beauty with their words. They are capable of making subjects so dire be of great interest that they, in turn, create spectacles upon it!” You defended but Aemond only rolled his eye and shook his head, the former action he had gotten from you. Ever since you two were young, you would always roll your eyes when you found something disagreeable; Aemond would mock you for it— would mimic your actions in hopes of getting more from you. However, in time, he managed to adopt the same mannerisms.
“Archmaester Sisco believed that poetry is of great danger,” he said, taking a goblet to his lips. Your eyes followed the way the ball on his throat booed as you waited for him to continue his thought.  “He says they mislead and are obscure and false— that poets are seducers of the mind,” He finished, noting the way your eyes were on his throat. Guessing you’d want to strangle him out of annoyance, Aemond was amused with the thought of you thinking about strangling him.
“The Archmaester’s proclamation and thinking is old— irrelevant in our times. Even his student, Archmaester Aristedes, disagrees with his views on poetry. He reasons that it is not harmful— it is a form of expression! Cathartic to those who read and write it!”Aemond let another scoff of derision slip his lips, pushing your annoyance into frustrated anger.
“You would not understand the beauty of poetry because you keep everything you feel inside you! You do not know what great relief it is to say or even write what you desire and hope for!” You exclaimed, and Aemond tensed in his seat. Silence surrounded the room as Aemond could not work out a response. You saw him fisting the arm of his chair, the knuckles of slender fingers turning pink from his tight grip.
You sighed heavily, “What I meant is… I understand that you do not like poetry and find it pointless and a waste— but I don’t. I am not forcing poetry onto you, nor am I trying to change your views upon it. I enjoy and adore poetry— I just wish you would stop discouraging me from enjoying it.
“Why do you enjoy it?” Aemond asked after a short while. You try to hide your surprise at his question. “Because… I find it romantic. For someone to take time to depict you with such beautiful imagery and flattering words, to love and admire you enough to dedicate a work of literature to your name… for me, it is the best way to express to someone how much you truly love them.” You could not look at Aemond as you said the words. In truth, a part of you felt silly because your love for poetry was only solidified because you loved a boy who you knew would not subject himself to create such works. When you read your favorite epics and songs, you would humor yourself and imagine it was Aemond who wrote it for you, knowing he would never do such a thing.
Tumblr media
Days passed since your and Aemond’s interaction and you noticed that you had scarcely seen his presence. You would pass by him whilst in training and join him and his kin for supper— but other than that, you could not feel a trace of his presence. He would usually join you and Helaena for tea or would suddenly appear by your side as you walked along the keep. He didn’t even pick fights or tease you anymore. Him growing more silent and reserved. Now you regret speaking— wishing you had just held your tongue and let him continue to disparage the sacred thoughts of poems and songs.
It was high night, and you sat silently in your chambers, staring at the fire, trying to find ways to approach Aemond. Already missing his teasing presence— the only presence you would muster the patience to endure.
You furrowed your brows as you heard shuffling at your door. Your eyes catch the shadow of a figure outside. You cautiously and quietly stood, going to your door only to see a piece of parchment being slipped at the slit of the wooden door. Your confession only grew. You quickly took the parchment and opened the door, revealing its sender. Three eyes went wide as you were met with Aemond, who blended in the dark. However, his silver hair shined in the light of the moon. “What are you doing?” You ask and turn to the parchment he had slipped.
“Nothing— I… this—“ Aemond fumbled for words; you had never seen him in such a state. He was usually composed and stoic. You thought seeing him bashful and embarrassed was a nice gift from the gods. “What is this?” You ask and unfold the parchment. “No! Don’t—“ Aemond bit his tongue as it was too late to hinder you. Your eyes already consuming what was written.
I’ve known you for half of my life yet; you consume the whole of it I’ve had you near and close to me yet, I only gaze from afar
I do not know how to proclaim I’m not certain how to say it without blame, but you, my beauty, are the cause of my desire and, most of the time, my ire
I know I pick countless squabbles, but I do it because I love to hear you babble about things I have no care for but you just simply adore
We disagree for many reasons, but I’d rather fight you through the seasons You, my beauty, so lovely and carefree my heart could not help but love you, most ardently
Aemond watched you bite your lip as a wide smile started to spread. Aemond felt heat all over his body— anticipation did not sit well with him. He was ready to meet your laughs at his attempt to make you a poem. Ready to face rejection, but instead of the pessimistic thoughts in his mind, he was met with your sweet, pillowy lips. You were so excited and thrilled that you could not help but kiss him. Show him how you adored him as well.
What was supposed to be a short and chaste kiss turned deep with passion. Lips dancing and refusing to part. You and Aemond stumbled to your bed, uncaring and ignorant of the teachings of the gods, for you and him had long surpassed your desires, and they could no longer be denied. They were ready to claim without thought of consequences because both of you knew that you’d happily take all punishment that would be presented if it meant neither of you had to stop your actions.
“Gods, I want you,” You uttered as his lips traveled to kiss your soft cheeks, then trailed downward to the side of your neck. His hands were on your waist and threading dangerously close to your bosom. “Say it again,” Aemond almost begged. Savoring your scent, delighting at the way you feel against him. “I want you, Aemond. I’ve wanted you for years— you, only you.” You sighed as he left marks on your necks, earning quiet moans from you at the new sensation.
Aemond let a low moan rumble as his cock painfully strained against his trousers, throbbing at your admittance of want for him. It was all he wanted. He thought his deepest desire in life was to have a dragon, but that was wrong. He desired you more than claiming a dragon— his deepest desire was to claim a lioness.
Aemond tangled his hair in your hair, finally letting his other hand move from your waist and cup your breast. Your hand, in turn, went to palm him through his trousers, watching as his jaw clenched and the ball of throat bobbed once more. “We… we must not lay until we are married,” Aemond said, voice pained and filled with impatience. Yet, he still did not move atop you; he kept his hold, but you relinquished yours. “We don’t have to,” You said, trying to push away your need for him to touch you. Aemond sighed and hurried his face in your neck, his lips and breath tickling your skin. “Then how…” Aemond trailed, and a thought passed your mind. “We must not touch each other….yet. However, I do not recall teaching forbidding us to touch ourselves,” You whisper, Aemond’s lilac eye flying to you, dark and filled with lust, mirroring yours.
Aemond moved to remove his weight from you. You keep your eyes locked as you back away to the back of your bed, resting yourself on the pillows as Aemond kneels by the edge of your feathered bed, watching each move you make with his glazed, lone eye.
You bit your lip harshly as your hand threaded a path that it threaded plenty of times, the thought you had as you did the actions now watching you. You slipped your hands, and you resisted moaning as your fingers brushed over the pearl of your cunt. Aemond admired the way your breasts peaked and traced through your silk nightgown. The way your eyes were hooded and how your plump lips finally parted and moaned his name.
Aemond could no longer resist. Slipping his hand into his trousers just like he did every night, the image of you no longer in his mind but now sitting before him, calling out his name.“A-Aemond,” You stuttered as you felt the familiar cold within you. How desperately you wanted it to be, him to make you feel such a way. Aemond groaned and tilted his head to the heavens as he felt his cock twitch; he was quick to reach his peak; just the way you called for his name was enough for him to spill so quickly.
Aemond closed the space between the two of you, each of your hands still pleasuring yourselves while lips met and wanted to be together when both of you reached your peaks. “You will be mine soon, my heart… mine to pleasure and please, all mine,” Aemond swore against your lips. You nod your head as you fasten your pace. “I’ve always been yours, Aemond.” You said truthfully, the final push for Aemond to come undone; you quickly followed as his moans spurred your peak. Aemond kissed your lips once more and boldly prayed for patience, patience, and restraint to not take you that night.
It was not enough for Aemond; pleasuring himself as he watched you pleasure yourself was not enough, but it had to be for now. Because when morning comes, he’ll demand that you shall be his, just as it ought to be.

The dining hall of the Red Keep glowed softly beneath the warm light of a dozen candelabras, their flames casting a gentle shimmer over the long table. The family had gathered as King Viserys wished, the evening an affair meant for unity and harmony amidst the tumult of the court. Silver goblets shone next to plates laden with roasted meats, honeyed fruits, and crusty bread. Servants moved quietly along the table’s edges, refilling wine and delivering fresh platters.
At the head of the table sat King Viserys, whose smile tonight seemed genuine, his face brighter with warmth than it had been in moons. At his right was Queen Alicent, regal as ever in emerald silk, her hands neatly folded as she oversaw the table with a critical but composed gaze. You and Jason were seated near Rhaenyra and Laenor on the opposite end, where your eldest children—Leona and Loren—shared animated conversations with their cousins.
It was a scene of relative calm—until Viserys cleared his throat, signaling to the table.
“Before we enjoy the bounty of this evening,” he began, his voice steady but strained with effort, “I would like us to begin with a prayer. A moment of reflection and gratitude is owed to the gods—particularly the Seven—who have given us this meal and this family.”
You exchanged a glance with Jason, whose expression immediately quirked with amusement, though he wisely said nothing. The king was not a man who favored the Seven.
Alicent, sensing her moment, smiled and inclined her head. “A wise suggestion, Your Grace.” She turned toward the table, her voice clear and even. “The Faith has sustained the realm for centuries, uniting all under the blessings of the Seven. It is good that we should take a moment to remember their guidance.”
Jason, seated beside you, shifted slightly in his chair, his posture loose and entirely unbothered as he reached lazily for his goblet.
Alicent caught his movement, her gaze sharpening just a little as she turned her attention to him. “Does that amuse you, Lord Jason?” she asked, her tone polite but edged. “Do you not consider yourself a religious man?”
Jason froze mid-sip, though only for the briefest of moments. A smirk tugged at his lips as he set the goblet down, his green eyes gleaming with mischief. “Oh, I do, Your Grace,” he replied smoothly, the corners of his mouth twitching. “I hold the gods very close to my heart. I pray often.”
He leaned closer to you then, lowering his voice just enough that only you could hear. “Usually when I’m between your legs, wife.”
Your eyes widened in alarm as you shot him a sharp glare, cheeks flushing despite yourself. “Jason!” you hissed softly, nudging his shin beneath the table. “You’ll hold your tongue if you value your head.”
Jason only grinned like a cat who’d caught a mouse, entirely unrepentant.
The exchange, however, had not gone entirely unnoticed. Laenor Velaryon, who was seated across from you, had clearly heard the comment. He snorted into his wine, nearly choking on his sip before bursting into laughter. “Gods, Jason,” Laenor coughed, covering his mouth with the back of his hand. “You’re going to get yourself thrown out of King’s Landing.”
Rhaenyra, seated beside him, gave him a sharp nudge with her elbow. “Laenor, stop,” she muttered, though even she struggled to hide the smirk pulling at her lips.
“Apologies,” Laenor said with a grin, raising his cup to Jason with mock solemnity. “To piety, then.”
“Indeed,” Jason replied, smirking triumphantly as he lifted his goblet in response.
You turned sharply to Jason, muttering under your breath, “That was terrible.”
“And yet you adore me,” he quipped softly, his tone teasing as ever.
Meanwhile, at the far end of the table, your daughter Aemma had struck up an animated conversation with Princess Helaena, whose fingers toyed with a small, delicate beetle crawling carefully along her palm.
“What is its name?” Aemma asked curiously, leaning forward to inspect the creature.
Helaena smiled faintly, tilting her hand so Aemma could see. “I call him Nymis. He’s a dung beetle, but he’s very clever, you know. He always rolls his food the same way.”
Aemma gasped softly, her curls bouncing as she smiled. “He’s so small. Can he do tricks?”
Helaena nodded sagely. “If you watch closely, he’ll always head toward the light. Bugs are wiser than people think.”
At that moment, Aemond—ever watchful and quiet—appeared at Helaena’s other side. He glanced between the two girls, then down at the beetle. “It’s just a bug,” he said dismissively, though his tone lacked malice.
“It’s Nymis,” Helaena corrected sharply, her gaze darting to her younger brother.
Aemma, quick to defend her aunt, folded her arms. “He’s very clever, Uncle Aemond.”
Aemond regarded her for a moment, his eyes narrowing as though considering whether to argue. But after a pause, he sighed and stepped closer, peering at the beetle curiously. “What does it eat?” he asked, his voice softening.
Helaena perked up, pleased to have drawn his interest. “Mostly dung, but sometimes fruit. Shall I show you?”
Aemma nodded eagerly. “Yes, show us!”
The three of them huddled together, their conversation turning quiet and earnest as Helaena explained the beetle’s habits. It was a rare moment of harmony, and you smiled softly as you caught sight of Aemma chatting so gently with her uncle and aunt.
Elsewhere along the table, Jace and Luke were engaged in a lively conversation with Leona and Loren, while Aegon called for a servant to pour him another cup of wine.
“Do you think Vaelora could outfly Vermax?” Jace asked, his voice brimming with challenge as he grinned at Leona.
“Easily,” Leona replied, smirking as she took a bite of bread. “Vaelora is stronger and faster.”
“She’s only faster because she’s smaller,” Luke interjected, his face scrunched in thought. “Vermax is still growing.”
“Morghan doesn’t need to race,” Loren added quietly, his tone matter-of-fact as ever. “He’d win if it came to a fight.”
“That’s not fair,” Jace replied, though he was grinning. “Morghan’s nearly black as night. He’d disappear in the dark.”
“Exactly,” Loren said with a nod.
The children’s banter continued, growing louder with the occasional peal of laughter, as young Tyland and Daena whispered conspiratorially to one another at the opposite end. Daena covered her mouth with her hands to stifle a giggle, and Tyland shot you and Jason an occasional glance, as though plotting something only the two of them could understand.
The dinner continued in this lively manner, the table filled with chatter, laughter, and the quiet hum of conversation. At its head, King Viserys looked out over his family—his daughters, sons, grandchildren, and their bonds—and for once, his smile held no trace of sorrow.
That illusion shattered when the heavy doors creaked open and Grand Maester Mellos shuffled into the hall. His face, ashen and drawn, seemed paler than usual beneath the flickering candlelight. A scroll was clutched tightly in his trembling hands, and the sight of him brought an immediate hush to the table. All eyes turned toward him.
King Viserys looked up from his meal, his brow furrowing. “What is it, Mellos?” he asked, his tone a mix of confusion and mild annoyance.
“Forgive the interruption, Your Grace,” Mellos rasped, his voice dry and cracked with age. “A raven has arrived from Driftmark. It bears grave news.”
The silence that followed was palpable, the weight of it pressing upon the hall like a stone. The maester moved slowly toward Viserys, the scroll shaking slightly in his hands. The king took it, his frown deepening as he broke the wax seal and unrolled the message.
The room watched him, tense and expectant. Rhaenyra’s hand went still where it hovered near her goblet, and Laenor’s easy smile faded into something uncertain as his gaze flickered toward the king.
Viserys began to read, his expression softening—then falling. The light that had brightened his eyes all evening dimmed in an instant, replaced with a somber heaviness.
“Father?” Rhaenyra ventured softly, her voice tentative.
Viserys did not immediately respond. He read the letter a second time, as if hoping its words might somehow change. Finally, he exhaled deeply, the sound a whisper of grief, and looked up at the table.
“It is from Driftmark,” Viserys said quietly, his voice almost hoarse. “Lady Laena Velaryon has passed.”
The words struck the room like a hammer blow. A heavy, stunned silence fell over the table.
Laenor froze. For the span of a heartbeat, he did not seem to breathe. His eyes were wide, uncomprehending, as though the words themselves refused to settle in his mind.
“In childbirth,” Viserys continued, his voice quieter still. “She was taken too soon, and… the babe as well.”
Laenor’s goblet slipped from his hand, hitting the table with a dull thud before rolling to the floor. Wine pooled across the white tablecloth, but no one paid it any mind.
“Dead?” Laenor’s voice broke on the word, hoarse and raw. He blinked rapidly, his gaze darting to Rhaenyra as though seeking confirmation. “Laena is dead?”
Rhaenyra was already rising to her feet, her face pale and stricken. “Laenor…”
“No,” Laenor whispered, shaking his head. His voice grew faint, his chest rising and falling sharply as though the room had suddenly lost its air. “No, it cannot be…”
Rhaenyra stepped around the table and gently took his arm. “Come, Laenor,” she said softly, her voice calm but steady. “Let me escort you back to your chambers.”
Laenor did not resist as she pulled him to his feet, though his gaze remained unfocused, his expression blank with disbelief. “She cannot be gone,” he muttered faintly, his voice more to himself than anyone else. “She cannot be…”
Rhaenyra cast a quick glance at her father, then at you, her expression tight with worry. “I’ll see him to his chambers,” she said quietly, leading Laenor from the hall. His steps were sluggish, as though the weight of the news had turned his limbs to stone.
The hall remained silent even after the doors closed behind them. All eyes turned back to Viserys, whose face was etched with grief. Queen Alicent shifted slightly in her seat, her expression carefully composed, though her hands trembled where they rested on the table.
Jason leaned back in his chair, breaking the silence with a quiet exhale. “Gods,” he muttered, shaking his head. “Laena Velaryon… A fine woman, gone too soon.”
Your hand rested lightly on his forearm, though your attention lingered on the king. Viserys was staring into nothingness, his expression haunted.
You leaned toward Jason slightly, your voice low. “This will have struck Uncle Daemon hard as well,” you murmured. “...and their daughters…”
Jason’s brow furrowed as he looked at you, his green eyes searching your face. “The girls. Rhaena and Baela,” he said softly. “Twins, aren’t they?”
You nodded, your heart heavy at the thought of the two young girls. “Yes.”
Jason frowned thoughtfully, swirling the wine in his goblet but not drinking it. “A cruel blow to lose their mother. And Daemon…” He shook his head. “He will not take this well.”
“Would you?” you asked softly, your voice edged with quiet grief. The thought of your own children losing you—of leaving Jason to raise them alone—sent a chill through you.
Jason turned to you, his gaze steady and uncharacteristically serious. He reached for your hand beneath the table, his fingers curling gently around yours. “No,” he said quietly. “I would not.”
You offered him a faint smile, squeezing his hand lightly. It was a small comfort amidst the somber air that now filled the hall.
At the far end of the table, the children sat quietly, their earlier cheer having vanished. Aegon slouched back in his chair, his goblet of wine untouched as he stared absently at the table. Helaena, still clutching her beetle in her hands, looked toward the doorway where Laenor had disappeared, her brow furrowed in quiet confusion.
Aemma sat beside her, glancing nervously between the adults and her cousins. Aemond had sidled closer, his expression guarded as he looked toward his sister and niece. “Is… is someone dead?” he asked softly, as though afraid of the answer.
Helaena nodded faintly, her voice quiet and almost distant. “Laena Velaryon. She was the twins’ mother.”
Aemma’s face fell, her curls framing her round cheeks as she whispered, “That’s very sad.”
Aemond frowned, as though unsure how to respond. Finally, he nodded slowly. “Yes. It is.”
The older children—Leona, Loren, Daena and Tyland, Jace, and Luke—exchanged uncertain glances, their earlier chatter now forgotten. Loren’s hand rested protectively on the hilt of the sword at his side, as though seeking comfort in its solidity.
At the table’s center, Grand Maester Mellos bowed stiffly before Viserys. “The letter requests the presence of House Targaryen and House Lannister for the funeral, Your Grace,” he said solemnly. “The ceremony will be held on Driftmark in the days to come.”
Viserys nodded faintly, though his gaze was distant. “Of course,” he murmured, his voice heavy with sorrow. “It must be so.”
Jason leaned back in his chair, watching the king thoughtfully before murmuring softly to you, “It seems we’ll be traveling again soon.”
You nodded, your expression solemn. “For Laena. And for her family.”
As the servants moved quietly to clear the table, the air remained heavy with grief and unspoken words. The news of Laena’s death had darkened the evening beyond repair, and though the feast had begun in joy, it ended in silence.

The black waves crashed softly against the jagged cliffs of Driftmark, the sound of the sea a steady hum that echoed the somber mood of the gathered family and guests. Grey skies loomed heavy above them, a veil of clouds as mournful as the faces of those in attendance. Lady Laena Velaryon's casket had been lowered into the sea moments earlier, her final resting place among her ancestors, the salt water swallowing her body as if to reclaim one of its own.
The funeral repast had begun shortly after, held within an open pavilion on the grounds of High Tide. Tables had been laid with wine, fresh seafood, and bread, but the atmosphere was tense and heavy. Nobles milled about with muted voices, their faces drawn. Mourning clothes of black and dark greys rippled like shadows in the wind.
You and Jason stood near the edge of the pavilion, close enough to observe without being drawn too deeply into the simmering tension. You rested a hand on Jason's arm as your gaze swept over the gathering.
Jason tilted his goblet lazily in his hand, though his sharp green eyes missed nothing. "Gods," he muttered under his breath. "You can feel it in the air, can’t you? They’re like wolves eyeing one another over scraps."
You nodded faintly, your eyes lingering on the scattered clusters of people. House Velaryon, clad in somber silks, kept to themselves. Daemon stood off to the side, his expression unreadable as he stared out at the sea, a goblet dangling loosely from his fingers. Rhaenyra sat beneath the canopy, silent and statuesque, though the hollows beneath her violet eyes told of sleepless nights. Laenor sat beside her, a near-empty goblet clutched tightly in his hand as he murmured aimless words to no one in particular.
“She seems… worn,” Jason observed, his gaze flicking to Rhaenyra. “Even more so than when we arrived.”
You sighed softly, following his gaze. “Word came of Harwin Strong and Lord Lyonel,” you replied quietly. “An accidental fire, they say, at Harrenhal. Harwin and his father are dead.”
Jason scoffed, his lips curling with disbelief. “An accidental fire? Harrenhal is cursed, yes, but no man of sense believes that. Someone wanted the Strong dead, though I doubt we’ll ever hear who.”
You looked away, your voice low and troubled. “Harwin was more than just her sworn protector, Jason.”
Jason’s brow arched, though he seemed unsurprised. “You think I hadn’t noticed? Half the realm whispers of those Strong boys. It’s no secret what he was to her.”
You shot him a sharp look. “She cannot even mourn him openly,” you said, your voice tight. “Whatever he was to her, she loved him. And now she must pretend as though it means nothing.”
Jason inclined his head slightly, his expression softening as he regarded you. “You should speak with her. Rhaenyra will not want for words, but she’ll need to hear some kindness today.”
You nodded, touching his arm lightly before stepping away. “And you? Where will you go?”
Jason’s lips quirked into a faint, roguish smirk as his gaze drifted toward Daemon, still brooding near the cliffs. “I think I’ll go see what the Rogue Prince is brooding about. He looks in need of company.”
“Or a fight,” you muttered under your breath.
Jason chuckled. “Well, he can take it out on me, then. I’ve had enough wine to make it interesting.”
You moved across the pavilion, weaving between somber faces and hushed conversations until you reached Rhaenyra. She sat stiffly at one of the long tables, her hands clasped tightly in her lap as she stared down at her goblet. Her expression was carefully schooled, but you could see the grief swimming in her eyes—the kind of grief she dared not show too openly.
“Rhaenyra,” you said softly, stepping up beside her.
She looked up quickly, her violet eyes sharp before they softened at the sight of you. “Sister,” she murmured, forcing a small, tired smile. “You’re kind to come.”
You took a seat beside her, reaching for her hand. “I would not leave you to this alone.”
Rhaenyra glanced down at her lap again, her shoulders stiff. “There is no kindness here,” she said bitterly, her voice low. “Only the weight of what cannot be spoken.”
You squeezed her hand gently. “I know,” you said softly. “I know what Harwin meant to you. And what this loss must feel like.”
Her breath caught faintly, her lips trembling as she turned away. “I cannot even say his name,” she whispered hoarsely. “They watch me for any sign, any flicker of truth. As though my grief were treason.”
You leaned closer, your voice steady and warm. “Let them watch. Your grief is yours, Rhaenyra. No one can take that from you.”
Rhaenyra closed her eyes for a moment, her shoulders rising and falling with a shuddering breath. When she looked back at you, her gaze was softer, though tears still threatened to spill. “Thank you,” she whispered.
You said nothing further, content to sit beside her in quiet support, the unspoken words passing between you as clear as any conversation.
Meanwhile, Jason strode toward Daemon with his usual casual air, a fresh goblet of wine in hand. Daemon stood alone near the edge of the cliffs, the wind whipping his silver hair as he stared out over the vast, churning sea. He didn’t turn as Jason approached.
“If you’ve come to offer condolences, they mean little,” Daemon said coldly, his voice carried on the wind.
Jason smirked faintly as he extended the goblet toward him. “I’ve come to offer wine. Condolences are best left to those who are better at lying.”
Daemon finally glanced at him, his pale lavender eyes sharp and searching. After a pause, he took the goblet with a curt nod. “I suppose that’s better company,” he muttered, taking a long sip.
Jason studied him for a moment before speaking again, his tone light. “She was a strong woman, your Laena. Stronger than most men I’ve known.”
Daemon’s gaze narrowed slightly. “You didn’t know her.”
Jason shrugged. “No, but strength needs no introduction. She fought to live until the very end, didn’t she?”
Daemon looked away, his jaw tightening. “She did.”
For a moment, there was silence between the two men, the wind howling around them as the waves crashed against the rocks below. Then, unexpectedly, Daemon’s lips quirked into something that almost resembled a smirk.
“You know,” Daemon said quietly, turning to face Jason fully, “when Rhaenyra told me you sullied my niece during that royal hunt all those years ago, I wanted to cut your head from your shoulders.”
Jason raised an eyebrow, clearly amused. “A fond memory, then.”
Daemon tilted his head slightly, his eyes gleaming darkly. “You’re lucky you married her. It saved you.”
Jason let out a low laugh, shaking his head. “Lucky indeed,” he replied dryly. “Though I think you’d have found me hard to kill.”
Daemon smirked faintly, though the shadows of grief lingered behind his expression. “Perhaps. But if you’re here to humor me, Lannister, you’ll need more wine than that.”
Jason grinned, lifting his own goblet in salute. “I can oblige you there, Prince Daemon.”
And so the two men stood together, their shared silence punctuated only by the wind and the distant crash of waves.

The wind tugged at Leona's silver hair as she stood with her twin, Loren, near the edge of the open pavilion. The sea stretched out before them, vast and grey, reflecting the gloom that hung over Driftmark. Though the adults were occupied with their grief and hushed conversations, the twins—now ten and already bearing the quiet, watchful air of their mother—took it all in with sharp eyes and open ears.
“Look,” Leona murmured to Loren, nudging his arm and tilting her chin slightly toward the far end of the gathering.
There, beneath the shadow of the cliffs, stood The Sea Snake himself, Lord Corlys Velaryon. Beside him, Princess Rhaenys held herself upright, her stoic face revealing little to those who did not know her well. But Leona, perceptive even at her young age, could see the faint tremble of Rhaenys's hands where they gripped her shawl.
Lord Corlys stood tall, his face hard as granite as he stared toward the pavilion. Though he exchanged words with his wife in low tones, his shoulders were tense—almost unmovable.
“They look… angry,” Loren said, his voice quiet as he stood beside his sister, hands clasped behind his back.
“They’ve lost their daughter,” Leona replied softly, though her eyes never left the scene. “You’d be angry, too.”
Loren frowned slightly, his gaze flickering to his sister. “Is this how grown-ups grieve? Standing like statues and saying nothing?”
Leona tilted her head thoughtfully, as though considering the question. “Maybe they don’t know what to say. Maybe it’s easier to say nothing at all.”
Loren huffed softly, shifting his weight. “Then it’s all wrong. People should say something.”
Before Leona could reply, the quiet hum of the repast was interrupted by a sudden commotion. Across the pavilion, two small figures—undeniably familiar—rushed past a servant carrying a heavy tray of wine goblets.
“Daena! Tyland!” Loren said in disbelief, recognizing their younger siblings immediately.
The two culprits were young Tyland and Daena, both red-cheeked and giggling as they darted between guests with little care for propriety. Tyland’s mop of golden curls bounced as he looked over his shoulder at Daena, who was half-running, half-hopping to keep up.
“Slow down!” Daena protested through breathless laughter. “You’re cheating!”
“I am not!” Tyland retorted, grinning as he bolted ahead, narrowly missing a passing servant.
The servant—a young man who had clearly been tasked with delivering wine to the guests—tried to sidestep Tyland, but it was too late. The collision sent the tray tilting, and a chorus of metallic clinks rang out as goblets toppled, sending wine splashing in every direction.
The worst of it landed on a tall figure nearby—Lord Otto Hightower himself.
The gasp that followed seemed to ripple through the pavilion, and Otto froze mid-step, his expression turning thunderous as the red wine soaked into his pristine, pale green cloak.
“Seven hells,” Loren whispered, barely containing his amusement. “They’ve gone and ruined the Hand of the King.”
Otto turned slowly, his face a mask of cold displeasure as he glared at the flustered servant, who stammered apologies while attempting to mop up the spill with a rag. Tyland and Daena had both stopped dead, eyes wide as they realized what had happened.
Otto’s cold gaze fixed on them. “You there,” he said sharply, his voice low but biting. “What is the meaning of this?”
Tyland swallowed nervously, though his usual Lannister boldness flared as he straightened his small shoulders. “It was an accident, my lord,” he said, attempting an innocent tone.
Daena looked up at Otto with wide eyes. “We’re very sorry, my lord Hand,” she said quickly. “We didn’t mean to.”
Otto stared down at the two children for a long moment, his lips pursed as though debating whether to scold them. Before he could speak, however, Jason’s laughter boomed from across the pavilion.
“Careful, my lord Hand!” Jason called, smirking as he approached the scene with a fresh goblet in hand. “Wine stains, but it does bring out the color in your cloak, don’t you think?”
The remark cut the tension somewhat, though Otto’s gaze remained sharp as he turned to regard Jason. “Your children, Lord Jason, might benefit from a firmer hand.”
Jason, unbothered, shrugged. “What’s the harm in a little trouble? They’re lions, after all. They run where they please.” He gave a pointed wink to Tyland and Daena, who both grinned sheepishly.
Leona shook her head from where she and Loren stood, her arms crossed. “They’re going to get away with it,” she muttered. “Father always does this.”
“Because he likes the chaos,” Loren replied with a grin. “And they are funny.”
The twins’ attention shifted again when they noticed a small, awkward group gathered near the far end of the pavilion. Jace and Luke stood slightly apart from their cousins, Baela and Rhaena Targaryen. The four of them looked uncertain, none quite sure how to approach the other.
Leona exchanged a glance with Loren, a silent decision passing between them. “Let’s go,” she said firmly. “They look miserable.”
Loren nodded, already following his sister as they strode across the pavilion.
Jace noticed them first, his expression brightening with relief as they approached. “Leona! Loren!”
“Hello, cousins,” Leona greeted, her voice calm and sure as she stepped between them. She cast a glance at Baela and Rhaena, who were both quiet, their grief evident in their downcast gazes. “You’re Baela and Rhaena, aren’t you?”
Rhaena nodded shyly. “Yes. You’re the Lannister twins,” she murmured, her voice soft.
Leona smiled faintly, tilting her head. “We are,” she said. “We’ve heard about you. My mother says you’re brave girls.”
Baela looked up at that, her eyes sharp despite the sadness in them. “Who said we weren’t?”
Leona’s lips twitched. “No one. It was a compliment.”
Loren stepped closer to Luke, who was fidgeting awkwardly beside Jace. “What were you all talking about before we came over?” Loren asked.
“Nothing,” Jace replied, rubbing at the back of his neck. “We weren’t really talking.”
“You were all standing here in silence?” Loren asked incredulously, shooting a look at Leona. “That’s boring.”
“We didn’t know what to say,” Luke muttered, looking toward Baela and Rhaena. “They just lost their mother…”
Baela stiffened slightly, her chin lifting. “We’re fine,” she said quickly, though the tremor in her voice betrayed her.
Leona softened at that, stepping closer to the other girl. “You don’t have to be fine,” she said quietly. “Not today.”
Rhaena glanced at her sister, then at Leona, her expression uncertain. “Why are you being nice to us?”
Leona frowned faintly, as though the question didn’t make sense. “Because we’re family,” she replied simply. “And that’s what family does.”
The words hung in the air for a moment, and Jace smiled faintly, the tension in his shoulders easing as he looked between the twins and his cousins.
“Come on,” Loren said after a beat, his tone more cheerful as he glanced at Baela and Rhaena. “You can sit with us. No one should have to stand around being sad and awkward.”
Baela shot him a look, but there was a hint of amusement in her eyes. “And what if we don’t want to?”
Loren shrugged. “Then we’ll just stand here with you. It’s your choice.”
Rhaena gave a small, hesitant smile, looking up at her sister. “Let’s sit with them,” she whispered. “Please?”
Baela hesitated before exhaling and nodding. “Fine,” she muttered, though her steps were already following the twins.
Leona and Loren led the way to a nearby bench, pulling the group together as though it had always been meant to be. The weight of grief was still present, but now it was shared, the burden lightened—if only just.
From a distance, you and Jason both noticed the scene, exchanging a small look of approval. In this moment, at least, family held.

A gentle breeze rustled through the gardens of Driftmark as the children played in small groups, their laughter and soft voices a reprieve from the somber weight hanging over the day. Near the pavilion, under the dappled shade of a tall tree, Aemma Lannister sat beside Helaena Targaryen, the two girls engrossed in their quiet world.
Helaena knelt on the grass, cupping her hands around a fat beetle that she had discovered crawling near a flowerbed. Her pale hair gleamed in the soft light as she inspected the insect with a sort of awestruck fascination. Aemma, sitting primly with her golden curls spilling over her shoulders, watched with wide eyes as Helaena let the beetle crawl along her wrist.
“Does it bite?” Aemma asked hesitantly, leaning just a little closer.
Helaena shook her head with a small, dreamy smile. “No. It’s kind. See how gentle it is? It doesn’t want to hurt anyone.”
Aemma tilted her head, watching the beetle crawl before turning her gaze toward the small gathering of adults nearby. Her parents were speaking quietly with Lord Corlys and Princess Rhaenys, while Rhaenyra and Daemon lingered further off, their expressions distant. She sighed softly before looking back at Helaena. “I don’t think my father likes bugs,” she said matter-of-factly.
Helaena smiled faintly, not looking up. “Most people don’t. But they’re wonderful if you take the time to see them.”
Aemma pondered this, her brow furrowed in that serious way children sometimes had. “I suppose that’s true,” she said at last. “But I still don’t think I’d want one crawling on me.”
Nearby, just within earshot, Aegon and Aemond stood together, though their postures could not have been more different. Aegon slouched lazily against the trunk of a tree, arms crossed, his pale hair tousled from the wind. He wore a faint scowl, his gaze wandering aimlessly until it landed on Helaena. His lips curled slightly, and he muttered under his breath.
“I don’t want to marry her.”
Aemond, standing straighter and more composed than his older brother, turned sharply at the complaint. His violet eyes narrowed as he shot Aegon an irritated look. “Don’t say that,” he said firmly. “She’s our sister.”
“That’s the problem,” Aegon replied, huffing. “She’s strange. Talks to bugs, sings to herself. I don’t want her.” He gestured lazily toward Helaena, who was still preoccupied with her beetle. “Besides, the gods wouldn’t make me marry her, would they?”
“Stop whining,” Aemond shot back, his tone colder now. “It’s your duty, and you’ll do as you’re told.”
Aegon rolled his eyes, clearly unbothered by the scolding. His attention drifted away from Helaena and settled instead on Leona Lannister, who stood at the center of a small group of cousins with her twin, Loren. The way Leona held herself—straight-backed and regal, her silver hair shining like fire—caught Aegon’s attention.
“Why can’t I marry someone like her?” he grumbled, more to himself than to Aemond. “Leona wouldn’t let me look twice at bugs. She’d probably kill me if I tried.”
Aemond, though annoyed, couldn’t hide the flicker of amusement in his eyes. “She would,” he replied dryly. “And you deserve it.”
Aegon snorted, pushing himself off the tree and stretching lazily. “I’ll wager there’s more wine in the pavilion. I’ll be happier when I’ve found it.”
“Drinking won’t solve anything,” Aemond muttered, though Aegon ignored him, already walking off with his usual air of indifference.
Aemond watched him leave, his mouth pressed into a thin line, before turning his gaze back to Aemma and Helaena. Helaena had released her beetle now, watching it disappear into the grass, while Aemma hummed softly to herself, tugging at a loose thread on her dress.
Taking a deep breath, Aemond approached them, his hands clasped behind his back. Aemma noticed him first, her bright eyes looking up as he came to stand beside her.
“Aemond,” she said cheerfully. “Are you sad?”
The question caught him off guard, and he blinked. “What?”
“You look sad,” Aemma repeated simply, tilting her head as she studied him. “Is it because of the funeral?”
Aemond hesitated, glancing briefly at Helaena, who watched him with her usual faraway expression. He sighed softly and sat down on the grass beside them, his posture still rigid despite the relaxed setting. “No,” he admitted quietly. “Not that. Not just that.”
Aemma watched him carefully, her small face full of concern. “Then what is it?”
Aemond looked away, his eyes fixing on the horizon where the sea met the sky. “It’s because I still don’t have a dragon,” he said finally, his voice quieter now. “Everyone else does—Jace, Luke, Aegon… even Leona and Loren. But not me.”
Helaena, still playing with the grass, spoke softly without looking up. “You will, Aemond.”
Aemond frowned. “How do you know?”
“Because dragons come to those who are worthy,” she replied simply, as though it were the most obvious thing in the world.
Aemond didn’t look convinced, but before he could argue, Aemma spoke up again. “I don’t have a dragon either,” she said, smiling faintly. “Neither do Tyland or Daena. Or the babies. There’s lots of us without dragons.”
Aemond turned to look at her, surprised. “But your brother and sister have dragons,” he said, his tone cautious. “Doesn’t that bother you?”
Aemma shook her head. “No. Morrath is Mother’s dragon, but I think she’ll give us eggs when we’re ready. Maybe I’ll have a dragon one day, like Leona and Loren.” Her voice softened slightly as she added, “Or maybe not. But I don’t mind.”
Aemond studied her for a long moment, her calmness in the face of his own frustration striking something within him. At last, he let out a quiet breath and said, “When I have my dragon, I’ll share it with you.”
Aemma’s eyes widened in surprise, and her smile grew. “You would?”
Aemond nodded firmly, his expression resolute. “Yes. I promise.”
Helaena looked up at him then, her gaze clear for the first time, as though she were seeing something beyond the present. “It will come,” she said softly. “It always comes.”
Aemma reached out and took Aemond’s hand in her small one, her smile bright and sincere. “Thank you, Aemond.”
The boy’s cheeks flushed slightly, though he said nothing, simply giving her a small nod in return. The three of them sat in silence after that, the wind carrying the scent of salt and sea, the laughter of their cousins a distant hum in the background. For now, amidst the grief and uncertainty of the day, Aemma’s quiet assurance settled something within Aemond.
He would wait for his dragon. And when it came, he would share its fire.

The guest chambers allotted to House Lannister during their stay at Driftmark were stately but cold, as though even the stones of High Tide carried the weight of the day’s grief. A single hearth crackled with a reluctant fire, its glow stretching across the chamber’s darkened walls and pooling at the edge of the grand bed.
Jason stood near the window, his doublet undone, his golden hair catching the dim light as he gazed out toward the darkening sea. The moon hung low on the horizon, its reflection broken by waves that rose and fell like quiet sighs.
“Seven hells,” Jason muttered under his breath, his voice carrying just enough for you to hear as you loosened your bodice, seated on the edge of the bed. “Even for a funeral, this whole ordeal felt… wrong.”
You glanced up, your brow arching faintly. “What do you mean?”
Jason turned, his green eyes sharp and unreadable as he regarded you for a moment before stepping closer, his boots muffled by the ornate carpet. “What do I mean?” he echoed softly, though there was no humor in his tone. “This place feels like a barrel of wildfire waiting for a single spark. The funeral, the whispers, the silence—it was all wrong. There’s more grief here than for Laena alone.”
You studied him carefully, sensing the truth in his words. The air around Driftmark had been heavy, full of unspoken animosity—a dread that had bled into the very walls. You opened your mouth to respond, but before you could, Jason leaned down and pulled you toward him, his hands finding your waist as he spoke again, quieter this time. “But I don’t want to speak of it anymore.”
“Jason—” you began, but he cut you off with a kiss.
The taste of wine lingered faintly on his lips, but the heat in the kiss was unmistakable. His fingers pressed gently into your waist, pulling you flush against him as he tilted his head to deepen the kiss. Whatever heaviness had weighed on him moments ago seemed forgotten as he claimed your mouth with familiar confidence.
You let out a soft hum of protest, though it quickly melted into something else entirely as Jason’s hands moved to cradle your face. When he pulled back, his gaze was dark with intent, his smirk faint and roguish. “Enough about funeral pyres and ghosts, wife,” he murmured. “I’d rather remind myself of the living.”
You huffed lightly, though you could feel the flush rising to your cheeks. “Always the insufferable charmer.”
“And yet, you suffer me gladly,” he teased, leaning in again to trail kisses along the curve of your jaw. His fingers worked quickly to untie the rest of your bodice, the silks loosening as his lips found the tender spot just below your ear.
Your breath hitched. “Jason—”
“Shh,” he murmured against your skin, his tone dropping to a low rumble that sent heat pooling low in your belly. “No interruptions.”
With practiced ease, Jason pulled you fully to your feet, guiding you backward toward the bed as his mouth found yours again. The kiss was deeper now, hungrier, as though he were determined to banish every shadow lingering in his mind. You didn’t resist—couldn’t resist—as his hands worked to rid you of your gown, the fabric slipping from your shoulders like water.
Within moments, you were both tugging at one another’s clothes, driven by the shared heat that ignited so easily between you. Jason’s doublet fell to the floor, followed quickly by the rest of his attire, until his skin pressed against yours. He grinned against your mouth, his hands firm on your hips as he lowered you onto the bed. “You’re too beautiful for grief,” he murmured, his voice roughened with desire. “Let me make you forget.”
You gasped softly as he kissed his way down your throat, his body settling atop yours with deliberate care. Your hands tangled in his golden hair, tugging him closer as his name fell from your lips in a whisper. He slid one hand down to grip your thigh, shifting to position himself—
The sharp rap-rap-rap of knuckles against the chamber door shattered the moment.
“Lord Jason! Princess Y/N!” a voice called through the thick wood. It was Ser Harrold Westerling, his tone apologetic but urgent. “Forgive me, my lord, my lady, but you are needed immediately in the throne room.”
Jason froze, his forehead dropping to rest against your collarbone as a frustrated groan escaped him. “Gods, give me strength,” he muttered.
“Ser Harrold,” you called out, your voice faintly strained as you tried to steady your breathing. “What has happened?”
“There has been an incident, Princess,” Harrold replied from the other side of the door. “I cannot say more, but it sounds dire. The king has sent for you both.”
You glanced down at Jason, who had rolled off of you and onto his back, his face twisted in a scowl as he stared up at the canopy above. “I’ll have the man crowned if he learns better timing,” he grumbled bitterly.
You sat up, quickly gathering the sheets around yourself as you reached for your discarded gown. “It sounds serious, Jason.”
Jason sat up beside you, muttering curses under his breath as he swung his legs over the edge of the bed and grabbed his breeches. “It always sounds serious,” he muttered as he yanked the fabric into place. “Why now? Why at this exact moment?”
You smirked faintly despite the tension in the air, shooting him a look as you pulled your gown back over your shoulders. “Perhaps it’s the gods punishing you for being insatiable.”
Jason shot you a wry glance as he buttoned his tunic with quick, agitated movements. “Then the gods have no sense of humor.”
You glanced toward the door, Ser Harrold’s hurried footsteps already retreating down the corridor. “We need to go.”
Jason sighed heavily as he fastened his belt, though his expression was still dark with irritation. “Fine. But whatever this ‘incident’ is, it had better be worth the interruption.”
You rose from the bed and put on your gown quickly, smoothing the fabric as you shot him a more serious look. “If it’s dire enough to summon us, it will be.”
Jason’s jaw ticked slightly, though he relented with a nod. “Then let’s see what fresh madness awaits us.”
Together, you stepped out into the dim corridor, leaving behind the brief warmth of your chambers. The hall was quiet save for the distant hum of voices echoing from the throne room ahead. Jason strode beside you, his usual swagger undercut by the stiffness in his shoulders as his hand found its way to the small of your back.
Whatever awaited you in the throne room, you both sensed it would not be good news.
Tumblr media
The throne room was in complete chaos. The air crackled with something sinister, voices rising in a cacophony of anger and fear. The large chamber, usually reserved for solemn courtly affairs, had been reduced to something far more primal—a storm of accusations, blood, and chaos.
As you and Jason stepped inside, your footsteps faltered at the scene before you. At the center of it all sat King Viserys, hunched in his chair, his face pale and drawn with shock and anger. Beside him stood Queen Alicent, her face a mask of barely-contained rage as she gestured sharply toward her son. Aemond sat to the side, his head bowed as Grand Maester Mellos worked quietly, his hands steady as he stitched the wound where Aemond’s left eye should have been. Blood stained the boy’s pale cheek, running in rivulets down to his collar. The queen’s muttered fury filled the room, barely restrained.
“How could this happen?” Jason muttered under his breath, his tone a low growl as his gaze swept the throne room, taking in the chaos.
To one side, Jacaerys and Lucerys stood together, both boys disheveled and bloodied. Luke’s nose was still trickling blood, his face pale and wide-eyed, while Jace looked no better, his hair matted with sweat and smeared blood on his brow. Near them, Baela and Rhaena stood together, their dresses stained with dust and streaks of crimson, eyes blazing with silent fury.
But it was further ahead that you spotted them—your twins. Loren stood protectively near a stone pillar, holding Leona close to his chest. His face was pale, his knuckles white where he clutched at her, and his other arm wrapped tightly around his sister as though shielding her from the room itself. Leona’s face was buried in Loren’s chest, her small body trembling visibly.
Your heart dropped.
“Leona,” you whispered in horror, the world narrowing around you.
Jason was already moving, his voice sharp and furious as he barked, “What happened here?!”
Loren looked up sharply at his father’s voice, his face creased with fear and relief. “Father!” he called hoarsely.
As if on instinct, Leona lifted her head from her brother’s chest—and you felt your breath leave you entirely.
A deep, jagged gash ran across her face, starting near the corner of her mouth and cutting upward toward her ear. Blood streaked down her cheek, smeared by Loren’s attempts to shield and comfort her. Her violet eyes, so much like your own, were wide and filled with pain.
“Seven hells,” Jason choked, his voice raw with disbelief. He was already crossing the floor, his stride furious and unrelenting as you hurried behind him, your chest tight with panic.
Jason reached the twins first, his hands going immediately to Loren’s shoulders as he barked, “What in the Seven Hells happened?! Who did this?!”
“Father,” Loren stammered, his voice shaking, “Leona—Leona didn’t want anyone to touch her—”
“Leona,” you breathed, kneeling immediately beside your daughter. “My sweet girl, let me see.”
Leona shook her head violently, her small hands curling into Loren’s tunic as she clung to him, her shoulders shaking with silent sobs. “No,” she whispered hoarsely. “No one.”
“Why isn’t she being tended to?” Jason’s voice roared across the chamber like a crack of thunder, snapping the attention of everyone around him. His face was flushed with rage, green eyes blazing as he turned sharply to the Grand Maester. “Why is my daughter not being seen first?!”
Maester Orwyle, who was assisting Mellos, looked up hesitantly, his voice cautious. “My lord, she… she would not let us touch her. The lady refused.”
Jason’s hands curled into fists at his sides, his voice vibrating with fury. “She is a child! You let her refuse?!”
Before Orwyle could respond, Queen Alicent’s sharp voice rang out over the din. “And what of my son?!” She gestured to Aemond, whose head remained bowed as Mellos continued his work. “It was he who was attacked—he who has lost an eye!”
Jason turned to her, his face thunderous as he snapped, “Shut your mouth, woman.”
A shocked hush fell over the room for a moment, Alicent’s eyes widening in disbelief as Jason’s words echoed off the walls. Even Viserys flinched faintly at the bluntness of it, though he did nothing to reprimand Jason. Alicent sputtered, her anger surging forward. “How dare you speak to me that way!”
Jason took a step toward her, his entire frame taut with fury. “My daughter is bleeding, her face torn open, and you think I give a damn about your self-righteous screeching?!” He jabbed a finger toward Aemond. “Your son can wait.”
Alicent’s face flushed crimson as she turned fully toward him, her voice trembling with rage. “Your precious daughter did this! They attacked my son!”
Jason scoffed sharply, the sound full of disdain. “Your son is twice their size. Do not speak to me as though this was a fair fight.”
Meanwhile, you remained kneeling beside Leona, your voice low and soothing as you tried to coax her into letting you see her wound. “Leona, my love, I need to help you,” you murmured, brushing your fingers gently over her hair. “Please let me look. I will not hurt you, I swear it.”
Leona shook her head again, her voice barely audible. “It hurts.”
“I know, sweetling, I know,” you whispered, your heart breaking as you pulled her into your arms, careful of her wound. “Mother’s here. I’m here.”
The shouting continued as Jason and Alicent exchanged bitter words, neither yielding to the other.
“Your children are savages!” Alicent barked, her voice rising.
“And your brood are liars and bullies!” Jason shot back, his voice ringing louder. “Do not pretend your son’s hands are clean!”
“Enough!” Viserys’s voice finally boomed over the chaos, though the king’s face was pale and strained. “All of you—enough.”
The room quieted just as the doors to the throne room burst open again. Rhaenyra and Daemon strode in, their faces twin masks of alarm and fury. Rhaenyra’s violet eyes swept over the room in horror as she took in the chaos—the blood, the tension, the sight of her sons battered and bruised.
“What has happened here?!” she demanded, her voice cracking like a whip.
Jason turned sharply toward her, his voice still vibrating with fury. “Your half-brother maimed my daughter and attacked your sons, that is what has happened!”
Rhaenyra’s gaze snapped toward Aemond, her eyes narrowing dangerously, but Daemon’s attention turned immediately to you and the twins. His expression darkened as he saw you cradling Leona, Loren still pale and trembling beside you.
You held Leona closer, whispering gentle reassurances into her ear as her small body trembled in your arms. But in the midst of the shouting and the blood, a sickening thought settled in the pit of your stomach.
Rhaenyra had reached her sons then, crouching before Jace and Luke with her hands cupping their faces, assessing their bruised and bloodied features. Her eyes, sharp and shining with fury, darted across the room, locking briefly on Aemond before narrowing dangerously.
“What happened?” she asked once more her sons, her voice controlled but trembling with barely contained wrath.
Jace clenched his jaw, his face smeared with blood as he pointed toward Aemond. “Him, Mother. He started it.”
“It was not my fault!” Aemond barked suddenly, straightening beneath Grand Maester Mellos’s stitching. His single uncovered eye burned with indignation. “They attacked me first. They jumped on me like wolves!”
“Because you stole Vhagar!” Baela shouted, stepping forward, her dark curls wild around her face. Rhaena stood close to her, her face pinched with grief and fury. “You claimed her without asking! She belonged to our mother!”
“She did not belong to anyone!” Aemond snapped back, his voice rising as he glared at the girls. “She is the largest dragon in the world, and she is mine now.”
“You stole her!” Rhaena yelled, her voice cracking. “You had no right!”
The children erupted into shouts once more, their accusations slamming into the heavy walls of the throne room. Luke, still holding a cloth to his bleeding nose, added, “He called us bastards!”
The word carried like a dagger across the room. Rhaenyra froze. The shouting abruptly stilled as her face turned pale and then darkened, like a storm rolling across the sea. Her voice was low and lethal. “What did you say?”
Luke turned to his mother, trembling, his voice small but clear. “He said we were bastards, Mother. That we weren’t… true Velaryons.”
Silence stretched thin and deadly over the room.
Rhaenyra straightened slowly, her gaze locking onto Aemond with a look that could have withered steel. “Is this true?” she demanded, her voice quiet but heavy with fury.
Before Aemond could answer, Loren, still standing near Leona, spoke up, his voice hesitant but firm. “It is true, Princess. He called them bastards… and then he insulted my sister.” He glanced down at Leona, his expression clouded with guilt and anger. “That’s when we all fought.”
Jason’s face turned a deeper shade of red, his anger renewed as he turned his sharp gaze toward Aemond. “And this,” he growled, gesturing toward Leona’s bloodied face, “this is the result of your ‘fight.’ A boy with a dragon’s arrogance and a butcher’s hand.”
“Enough!” Alicent’s voice cracked through the air like a whip. She stepped forward, her green gown sweeping the floor as she gestured sharply toward Viserys. “Your Grace, it is clear what has happened. My son was attacked—his eye taken from him—and now my family’s honor is slandered further. These children”—she pointed at Jace, Luke, Loren, and Leona—“must be punished!”
“You would punish them?!” Jason barked, stepping forward with such intensity that even the Kingsguard flinched. “Your son maimed my daughter—scarred her face for the rest of her life—and you dare to demand punishment? Be grateful I do not demand his head for it!”
Alicent’s eyes widened, her face pale with disbelief and fury. “How dare you—”
“How dare you,” Jason snarled, cutting her off. “The West will not forget this. House Lannister does not forget.” He turned his glare toward Otto Hightower, who lingered in the periphery of the chaos, his expression unreadable but watchful. Jason’s voice was laced with venom. “Do you hear me, Lord Otto? We will remember.”
Otto’s face remained composed, though his sharp eyes flicked toward Viserys, silently urging him to act.
Viserys, slumped in his chair, looked pale and exhausted, his hand gripping the armrest so tightly that his knuckles were white. The king’s eyes swept the room, lingering on Aemond before settling on his daughter, Rhaenyra. “This… this must stop,” he said hoarsely, though his voice lacked the strength it once held. “We are family. We cannot tear ourselves apart like this.”
“It has already begun!” Rhaenyra snapped, her voice trembling with anger. She stepped forward, pointing a finger toward Aemond. “To call my sons bastards… that is treason of the highest order! I am the heir to the Iron Throne. To call into question the legitimacy of my children is to call into question my claim.”
“And my children?” you interjected suddenly, your voice cutting through the noise. You were still kneeling beside Leona, holding her trembling hand tightly as Maester Orwyle gently worked to clean her wound. “What of them, Your Grace?” You turned your gaze to Alicent, your violet eyes blazing with fury. “If my children are harmed again—if so much as a hair on their heads is touched—I will mount my dragon, fly to Oldtown, and burn it to ash twice over.”
The threat rang through the throne room like a battle drum. The Kingsguard shifted uneasily, unsure whether to intervene as Jason stepped forward to stand beside you, his face unreadable but his anger felt.
Alicent’s face turned white with fury, her mouth opening as if to protest, but she fell silent at the sight of you, a true Targaryen—a dragon in both blood and bearing. Even Otto’s composure seemed to waver faintly, though he quickly masked it.
“Enough of this madness!” Viserys barked suddenly, his voice cracking under the strain. He turned his gaze on Alicent first, then Jason, then Rhaenyra. “I will hear no more. No more accusations, no more threats! You are all family. This is done.”
“Done?” Jason repeated sharply, his lip curling. “Done? My daughter will bear this scar for the rest of her days. You think this is done?”
Viserys turned a pleading gaze toward you and Jason. “I will ensure she is cared for,” he said, though his voice was tired and wavering. “Please… let us not spill more blood.”
As silence fell, the throne room seemed to hold its breath. Orwyle quietly finished his stitching, and you whispered gentle reassurances into Leona’s ear as she clung to you. Jason’s hand rested protectively on your shoulder, his glare still fixed on Alicent and Aemond.
Across the room, Daemon stood watching the chaos, his face unreadable, though there was a flicker of something dangerous in his eyes. He turned slightly, catching Jason’s gaze from across the chamber. A silent understanding passed between them
This would not be forgotten.
Rhaenyra, her fury barely restrained, gathered her sons to her side, her gaze lingering on Viserys before she turned to leave the room. “Come,” she said sharply to Jace and Luke, who followed her obediently, heads bowed but eyes still burning with anger.
As the doors swung open and the throne room emptied, Jason finally exhaled, his grip on your shoulder tightening slightly. “This is far from done,” he muttered under his breath.
You looked down at Leona’s pale face, her violet eyes wide with lingering pain, and brushed a strand of her hair from her cheek. “No,” you whispered softly, though your voice held the same edge as Jason’s, just as confused Lord Coryls and Princess Rhaenys enetered the hall. “This is only the beginning.”

Tin's Favorite Sterek Fics (Part 1)
Okay, so listen. A few months back, I mentioned the possibility of me doing a rec list of all the Sterek fics I like to re-read (basically my comfort library), right? Well, it turns out that what I thought was going to be a list of, like, 50 fics max is now, far, far, far, FAR longer than that to the point that I don't actually even have a number to provide due to the fact that I still finding more and more to add to the list. I really hate the idea putting them all in a single post--as someone who primarily engages with this site via it's mobile app, I personally find super long lists harder to navigate, especially when you lose your place and have to start from the top--soooo, I have decided to instead release my recommendations in a series of posts containing 15-20 fics/series each instead of dumping the whole library on you at once. This post marks the first of (almost certainly) many, so I hope you all enjoy!
List and links to next parts below the cut.

DISCLAIMER: This is me warning you all that some of the fics I've included in this list may cover explicit, dark, and/or "taboo" subject matters. I cannot express enough how little I care what anyone thinks about any of that; all I want is for you to use caution when reading anything I've listed here and to please review and heed whatever tags the authors have provided in order to keep yourselves safe. Your experience from this point on is your own responsibility, not mine and not the authors'.

By and By series by 1001cranes (3 works | T-E | 35,611)
1. hear his alibis (T | 1/1 | 6,628) creepy never looked so cute - or, how Sheriff Stiles accidentally adopted a juvenile offender. (another) pyromaniac au. 2. multiplied by seven (E | 9/9 | 26,340) Derek isn't exactly like other people. Stiles doesn't say that because he's in love with him, or whatever. He's not like Scott, who thinks Allison hung the freaking moon, or was the first girl to ever let a guy under her bra. Derek isn't like other people. Sometimes he's not exactly sane. psychopaths in love - the story from Derek & Stiles's side. companion fic to 'hear his alibis' 3. up to the highest high (E | 1/1 | 2,643) Kate takes a day to think it over, to plan her attack. She's good on her feet, but a little preplanning never hurt anyone. And if she's going to make Derek bleed, well - she needs just the right weapon. The right words. A thousand little pinpricks and cuts, because Derek isn't the type you can cut off at the knees so easily. You have to look for that dark, hidden place to plant a seed of doubt, and Kate? Kate's good at that. "He wants to be with a girl," she says. Like poisoned honey. "Or he doesn't not want it, am I right?" You think that curiosity won't get the better of him one day?" She's got her hands on him when she says it. She feels the beating of his heart, the firmness of his pectoral muscles, because, hey, this is precisely the way she swings. And Derek might keep it pretty well tucked up under his cap, but he doesn't exactly hate the female persuasion himself. Or at least he's attracted to them. Same difference in the end. "Better the devil you know," she says, and from the way Derek's gaze narrows she's got a feeling she's won.

The sunlight streamed in from the northern window, bathing you in its warm morning embrace.
It had been nearly two weeks since you'd last seen your husband, Lord Cregan Stark of Winterfell. Though you didn't know the man past the one heady night the two of you shared, you couldn't deny the pang in your heart that resembled longing.
Still, you allowed yourself to bask in the familiar comfort of solitude, however unusual your surroundings.
The days in Lord Stark's absence allowed you to tour your new home, and you found that Northerners could be rather kind, in a plain and uncalculated way. You often found yourself marveling at how different this all was from the place you grew up in. In House Lannister, kindness wasn't encouraged. People were but pawns to maneuver and discard when necessary in a greater game.
You shook yourself from these bleak thoughts of home. This was home now.
Dressed in the clothing your handmaidens left out for you, you eyed your reflection in the mirrored surface. The North was much colder than you had anticipated, so the heavy furs were a new and necessary part of your wardrobe.
You left the room you and Cregan were to share as a wedded couple and traced the short path to the Stark library. Pushing open the heavy wooden door, you were greeted by the warm glow of oil lamps and the scent of parchment and ink.
You could spend many hours losing yourself in literature. It had always been as such, as you were often forgotten of in your ancestral home. With books, you always belonged.
As you pulled a dust-coated, leather-bound book from the shelves, you settled into your favorite chair at the corner of the room for another long day of reading.
Perhaps Lord Stark would not be around much after all. Before your wedding day, you would have been pleased at the thought. Now, it left you with a lingering feeling of disappointment.
Tumblr media
The night hummed with the howl of blistering wind and snow. It was nearly deafening. You pulled the soft fur of your bed closer to your face for warmth against the cold.
Just as you shifted, the bed dipped low, indicating the presence of another. Startled, you jumped into an upright position, pulling the blankets over your scantily-clad body.
"Rest now, it's only me." Lord Stark hummed.
In the dim glow of the night, you could just make out his large, imposing figure at the foot of the bed.
"Husband! I hadn't known you'd return tonight." You stumbled out anxiously. He'd told you he would have you again when he returned, and now, here he was. You'd have liked a raven's notice of his return ahead of time so that you might have mentally and physically prepared yourself for the night ahead, but you sensed that Lord Stark's return was quite unplanned.
Lord Stark walked to the side table and pulled a match from the drawer, lighting a couple of candles. In the flare of the match, his rugged face was illuminated, the light catching on a deep, weeping gash above his right eyebrow. The skin below his brow and alongside his eye was bruising shades of purple and hazy yellow at the edges.
"Lord Stark, you are hurt." You startled out.
"Negotiations haven't gone as planned. It's but a flesh wound, really. The Maesters can mend me in the morn," he grumbled back.
"No need. I picked up some small medical knowledge during my schooling. I am no Maester, but allow me to stitch your wound." You were shocked by your own admission. Usually, you wouldn't be so bold, but something about seeing this great, infallible man wounded struck a cord within you.
He eyed you warily for a few moments more. "Alright then, but be quick about it."
You nodded curtly and stood from the bed to cross to the cabinet at the far corner of the room. Within it, you found the necessary supplies.
As you turned, supplies in hand, you were met with Lord Stark pulling off his furs, leather pelts, and undershirt. A dark bruise bloomed in shades of purple, violet, and indigo along his toned side, just above his britches. You winced at the image.
"Got that during negotiations as well?" You asked.
Cregan made a grunt of acknowledgment and sat heavily at the side of the bed. The frame bowed and creaked with his weight.
You approached cautiously, as you could see just how reluctant Lord Stark was to even let you witness him wounded. It genuinely seemed that the greatest thing to harm the Wolf of Winterfell was another seeing his softness.
"I can tend to that, also," you nodded to the wound at his side. Cregan said nothing, but watched you warily, as always.
You dragged a chair to sit in front of your husband, beginning your ministrations on his face first. As you brought the disinfectant to his cut, his slate grey eyes met yours and you had to quickly look away before his gaze made you entirely lose focus.
"The handmaidens tell me you enjoy reading," Cregan said, unexpectantly.
"Yes. Yes, I do, very much." You nodded your head as you threaded the thin needle.
"They also tell me you've visited the library several times in my absence."
You nod once more, unsure of the direction this conversation is going.
"The Stark library is vast, but I must admit, I haven't much patience for reading. I'm afraid I am not as well-versed in the selection as I'd like to be."
There's a moment of hesitation before he continues.
"My obligations have kept me away from my home for quite some time now, even before our union. I know this is far from ideal for a wedded Lady, and you must find things to occupy your time..."
"What I mean to say is...If you have need for a greater selection, all you need do is ask and I will make sure you are provided for." Cregan's expression, though obviously uncomfortable, is earnest.
"You haven't known me long, but you must know I will always provide for you, my Lady Wife."
You nod your head in understanding, taken by this sudden display of tenderness from the usually burly Lord Stark.
"I am quite satisfied with the selection, Lord Stark, I assure you." You smile reassuringly.
"Cregan, please." He insists and you nod once.
Your arm raises to place the first stitch above his brow. As the needle pierces his flesh, Cregan lets out a sharp hiss of pain, grabbing your wrist in his large hand.
"I'm sorry, my Lord. My stitching is straight, but the process isn't pleasant. Perhaps I can call for milk of the poppy? It is late, but I may be able to--"
"I have other ideas for ways to ease the pain." Cregan cuts you off with his husky voice, still holding tightly to your enclosed wrist.
He pulls you towards him and you have no choice but to stand above him. Eyes never leaving yours, his hands release you only to reach below the hem of your nightgown, pushing the thin fabric up until his rough fingers hook around the sides of your undergarment, pulling them down your legs in one swift motion. You shivered at the sensation.
You stepped out of them and watched as Cregan reached for the laces at the front of his pants, barely containing his hardening length. He loosened the laces just enough to free his cock, and it sprang forth, inviting you closer.
"I want you to sit on me," Cregan replied simply, taking your hands once more to draw you closer.
Nervously, you straddled your husband, waiting for further instruction. His rough hands found the tops of your thighs, splaying his fingers across them and slowly applying pressure until you bowed under their weight.
You slowly sank down on him, his cock first spreading you, then impaling until your hips were flush against his. The stretch was tight, but pleasurable after many nights apart.
"That's a good girl," Cregan moaned. "Now stay still for me, and I will for you."
You nodded silently, shakily raising the threaded needle to his brow again as he gripped your thighs painfully.
As the needle threaded flesh, you could feel Cregan throb within you, as did you around him.
Cregan's eyes closed and he tipped his head back slightly, enjoying the sensation of you squeezing around him.
It wasn't long before the cut was closed and you tied off the knot before snipping the rest off.
Cregan lifted his face to yours and smiled an almost devilish grin.
"You're not done, little wolf."
