Search History // Poly!141 x Reader
A continuation of this thought
Summary: Reader (based loosely on Penelope Garcia from Criminal Minds) has to be face-to-face with the boys for the first time since they started including her in their late-night fantasies. They've decided it's time to take it off-screen and move in IRL.
I'm taggin the peeps who replied to the last part bc I'm desperate for attention lol (in all actuality y'all really encouraged me to actually write thank you!!)
CW: allusions to porn, allusions to female genitalia, they're all horny in the workplace, this is basically workplace harassment but we're excusing it because they're hot and fictional and I say so, no outright smut
Still nsfw though so MDNI pls and thanks
“The 141 just touched down. ETA twenty minutes.”
Your eyes flicked up from the muted video on your monitor, cheeks flushed red but masked by the light radiating off your screen in your dark office. Thank God, your monitor faced away from the door. A young private was standing in the doorway with a tablet, looking at you for an acknowledgment, probably running about starting preparations for their arrival back on home base.
“Thank you, private.” You murmured, teeth toying at your thumbnail, chipping the polish. The young soldier gave a short nod at the quiet dismissal and disappeared once again. Your eyes, with embarrassingly blown pupils, flicked back to the video.
After your discovery two weeks ago, the sites and links you had to review furthered down the rabbit hole. And this video you were currently watching had been one that all the men had been visiting, and revisiting, and revisiting…
By god, they’d done it.
Similar build, skin tone only a shade or two different - you could probably share foundation and it wouldn’t look too bad. Hair and eye color so close it was uncanny. And when the woman looked over her shoulder at the mountain of a man hitting it from the back, the angle made the resemblance almost scarily uncanny. The Had you had a porn career and simply forgotten?- kind of uncanny.
Sure there were differences- she was a little taller, maybe a bit leaner, with boobs that had definitely had some work done. Tattoos where your skin was bare and vice versa, different piercings. Her voice was pitched different, and her accent was completely different from yours but within three minutes of the video she’d stopped speaking words, so accent didn’t matter much. But as far as porn actresses went- she might as well be your twin.
It seemed the 141 had perused her entire.. filmography. Different videos, different scenarios, different partners. They all had videos they seemed to like better than others. Soap seemed to particularly like the POV video where the man had a thick Scottish accent. Gaz had bookmarked a soft-core bondage and forced orgasm scene. Price, a shorter video of an unseen man pushing the actress under a desk for oral, and Ghost… the only link he’d visited was your instagram. It was hard not to let it stroke your ego a little bit.
God, if you told anyone about this… They’d tell you to file a workplace harassment suit, and maybe a police report. To start job hunting, and therapist hunting. Distance yourself. You should have been embarrassed or uncomfortable- you knew you should be. That you should feel objectified or disrespected, disgusted.
But hell, you’d be lying if you said you didn’t send yourself the links and watched them in your free time at home. It was hot- turned you on in an almost concerning way that would set feminism back twenty years if you told anyone.
The video kept playing on your monitor, one of the videos that Soap had visited more than once (little did you know it was one that Ghost had picked out). A gloved hand smoothly glided down the actress's spine before curving around her throat and pulling her upright on the man’s lap, filthy praises in a British accent playing through your single AirPod.
“Holy shit…” You muttered, thighs clenching because if you squinted it really did look like you, even some of her mannerisms. And the rough accent was like a mix of Ghost's and Price’s.
Abruptly, you shut down the entire monitor completely, ripping out the AirPod and tossing it on the desk. Pressing slightly shaking hands to your too hot face. You needed to get it together, because Price was your boss and the others were your superiors. They’d been gone for a month and a half, and it’d been your voice in their ears guiding them through missions, and you knew you had a flirty disposition, especially from the private safety of your dark little office half way across the world.
It made sense that their wires got a little crossed, but your wires- like those off all your monitors and hardware- needed to stay neatly organized and separate. Focus. Focus.
Your nails were bitten to the quick, the bitter taste of old nail polish on the back of your tongue. The skin around your nails was raw from your teeth toying with it as your so intensely focussed on the videos. You needed to get out of this too small, too hot room. Which is how you found yourself, twenty minutes later, in the communal break room fighting with the vending machine. It was withholding the ice cold water you were desperate for, despite your curses and attempts to jostle the machine. Right as you delivered a frustrated kick to the machine-
“Just the bird we were looking for!”
It was Kyle’s voice first, that tipped you off to the herd of men entering the space. You almost jumped out of your skin- brain flitting through several scandalous snippets of the videos he’d replayed. His smile was dazzling as always as he came into view, tapping the yellow warning stickers that instructed people not to jostle the machine, with the little illustration of the stick man getting crushed, “What’d the machine ever do to you? It might start fighting back.”
A gloved hand reached between the two of you, skeleton fingers curled into a fist that delivered a blunt strike, and, like magic, the water bottle fell in to the receptacle. You peeked over your shoulder at Ghost, standing just slightly too close and looking down at you intensely, but not meanly. An easy to miss bit of mirth that was usually reserved for Soap. Thank god you’d bitten your nails to stubs or they would’ve drawn blood from how they were digging into your palms to distract you from the gloved hands and the brutish display of strength.
Kyle put the drink sweetly in your hands after cracking it for you, like he would do when bringing Ghost or Price something, eyes twinkling like he knew something you didn’t. Another hand, warm and large clapped gently on your shoulder, pulling you back a step, almost directly into Captain Price’s chest.
The men shared a look over your head before focussing back on you.
“Your intel was good.” It was a simple statement, but delivered in a warm, proud tone that felt so much like praise that your stomach flipped a bit, with that warm smile that made him look soft despite the fact he was still in full tac-gear, “They didn’t even see us coming.”
“They never see you coming, that’s kind of your whole thing.” You tried a joke, your voice a touch strained. His hand was lingering, right on the curve where your shoulder became your neck, fingers flexing into the flesh just so. Just like it did on the boys when he thought others wouldn’t noticed. focus, focus, focus.
Fortunately, or unfortunately, it was Soap that interrupted the kneading of Price’s fingers.
“Don’t be so modest, bonnie!” He was laughing as large arms caught you around the waist, lifting and spinning you slightly. His voice so similar to that one Scottish co-star that had done such filthy things to your lookalike, it made your head spin. Despite your startled yelp and squirming, his grip didn’t waver, “Couldn’t of done it without our lass in the chair.”
“ ’nough, Johnny,” Ghost called firmly, leaning against the vending machine that they’d all but cornered you against, “Put ‘er down.”
Soap’s laugh was still good natured as he set you on your feet again, a little roughly for the heels you had on to match your skirt, you wobbled only for Ghost himself to steady you, giving you another intense look, that you had trouble meeting, “ 'e’s right though. Intel was good.”
They were all staring at you, varying degrees of smirks, eyes a spectrum of mischief and something that was dizzyingly close to hunger. Unable to keep still, you were squirming, shifting your weigh from foot to foot, fiddling with the wrapper on the bottle. You found your eyes flitting around settling anywhere but their own gaze, cheeks feeling hot, mind full of vile images that you knew they’d seen and enjoyed- ceiling, the exit sign, Johnny’s tac-vest, the floor, the water bottle in your hands. You gulped, eyebrows raising as you puffed a breath, trying desperately to reign yourself in.
“Glad to be of service.” You smiled tightly, nodding meeting each set of eyes briefly and hoping your foundation masked your blush (it didn’t). Jesus Christ, you couldn’t do this. You couldn’t tell if you felt turned on or awkward or both, but you needed to go. Preferably before you did something that would cost you your job. Your voice was rushed as you squeezed between Gaz and Price, double timing it to the exit, “Enjoy your leave, boys, you deserve it.”
As you all but fled the building, you typed out a mass base-wide memo email, language formal as you professionally reminded every soldier, specifically four of them, that any website visited by government devices was subject to internal review.
You swore you could hear them laughing as the memo went out. But maybe that was just your overactive imagination.
____
You’d gone home for the evening, and then clocked back in the following morning. Surprised to find all of the 141 was still there, debriefing must have ran long.
“Morning, love.” It was Kyle that greeted you, pressing a cup of coffee into your hands. He looked tired but happy to see you. Soap was with him, eyes bright and grin wide as he whistled lowly, fingers tugging at the hem of your skirt as you passed his seat.
“Looking good, bonnie,” He smiled devilishly, rubbing the fabric between his fingers before letting go, “Tired of all the green, black, and beige tac gear. Missed seeing something a little… softer.”
You somewhat doubted that. He seemed to appreciate military khaki when it hugged Gaz’s ass, and he sure didn’t seem to mind an all black tactical ensemble when it was on Ghost. But the compliment still brought heat up your neck, which you coupled with a sip of the hot coffee Gaz had brought you- fixed perfectly the way you liked it. It elicited a pleased sigh as you swallowed, humming in content.
“Price wants to see you before we all leave. Brought you some new stuff to work on.” Kyle smiled, watching how your expression softened at the taste of the beverage, clearly proud of himself for drawing out that reaction.
“A present? For me?” You smiled sarcastically back at the prospect of more work added to you caseload, “It’s like Christmas.”
“You been good this year?” Kyle grinned back, accompanied by Soap chiming, voice low and chiding, “Nah, she’s definitely been naughty.”
Both Sergeant’s shared a look as you almost choked on another sip of coffee.
“I’m leaving now.” You shook your head, turning on your heel away from where they were hanging around the rec room, clearly waiting for Price to dismiss them, “Y’all should shower. Or take a nap.”
“You want us naked?” Kyle questioned, raising his eyebrows at you, leaning back against the wall, standing so very close to Soap, who was sprawled out in his chair, long legs splayed and spread before him as he waggled his eyebrows. “And in bed?”
Now that was some imagery. Taking the lord’s name in vain you didn’t dignify that with a response other than a huffed, “Leaving now.”
____
The good thing about Price and Ghost was they were business first. So if you really focussed you could almost ignore Ghost's thigh pressed against yours as you sat beside him in the dark room, reviewing body cam footage. They pointed out different things to you, things to include as you started your next dark web deep dive.
You could almost ignore how Price’s fingers grazed and lingered on your palm as he gave you a thumb drive to decrypt and analyze, how he stood close enough to you that you had to look at him through your lashes.
“Has a self destruct program that Gaz didn’t want t' aggravate. Figured it needed your... soft touch.” Price smiled down at you as you curled your fingers around the thumb drive. You had to try pretty hard to ignore the slight emphasis on soft. Ghost seemed to chuckle lowly at your expression at the captain.
“What’s on there'll point us in the next direction of our next target.” Ghost nodded to you, his leg shifting so it pressed harder against yours. In the guise of stretching out, he’d draped an arm over the back of your chair, the cotton of his gloves half tickling the sensitive skin on the back of your bicep, where the flesh was soft.
“So don’t screw it up, got it.” You swallowed thickly, shifting so you couldn’t feel his thumb against your skin- it was making it hard to think about hacking and terrorism and military operations. He took it as an invitation to spread out more, his fingers grazing the exact spot only seconds later.
“Precisely,” John laughed lowly, his hand moved to your shoulder, back into that sweet curve that was partly your shoulder and partly your neck, and gave it a lingering squeeze, that kind of made you want to melt, “You won’t screw it up, love.”
The captain gave his Lieutenant a nod, and Ghost quickly stood, his boot giving the toe of your pretty heels a slight nudge as a goodbye before silently stalking out. Price took a seat across from you, leaning back and his arms cross comfortably over his chest.
“I’m having the boys over at mine tonight. A couple of drinks, I’m gonna grill, put the footie on, celebrate another successful mission to start our leave.” Price listed out their plans casually, noting how you squirmed a bit, uncrossing and recrossing your legs as you tugged at the hem of your skirt before continuing, “We want you to come. Couldn’t have done it without you, so you should celebrate it too.”
“Oh, uh-“ You started before you could think of a good excuse, “I’ll be really busy… with.. with the flash drive. And stuff.”
“What stuff?” Price rose a single brow, his stare pinning you still as he reached across the table and took the flash drive back, “This can wait.”
“Files. Coding. Security checks.” You mumbled the first couple aspects of your job that came to mind, the intensity of his gaze making you want to adjust your collar or shrink in your seat. You figured you’d have a couple more sites to clear off their devices, if they’d been sitting around base all night. Your cheeks heated just at the thought. “I’m a little behind. Been… distracted lately."
“Everything all right, love?” He ‘asked’ with at signature warm smile and amused eyes, he seemed to already know the answer to his question, “You’ve been… skittish, since we got back.”
Your teeth worried the seam of your lips as you considered the question. Skittish, was one way to put it- fidgety, fleeing rooms, avoiding eye contact, barely speaking as opposed to your usual chatter and banter. Your eyes flitted away from his gaze again, swallowing dryly again- geez when did you get so shy, “ ‘m fine. Absolutely fine. Never been better. How’re you?”
Cringing at your own rambling, you sighed shoulders drooping as he fixed you with another look, and muttered your name in a way that sent a shiver down your spine. It was a look that expected obedience, as his legs shifted into a natural man spread. Your brain flitted back to the video of your look alike being shoved under a desk…
Him saying your name again, slightly louder but just as bemused drew you back to him, realizing you were staring at his legs, debating if you could fit between his knees and you almost sputtered as you cleared your throat, “I’m fine, really.”
“Either lie more convincingly or tell me what’s bothering you, sweet.” Price chuckled, leaving forward against the table, drumming a knuckle against the table. Sweet, that was new. You’d have to add it to the laundry list of nicknames and pet names the boys had for you. You’d always told yourself that it was nothing personal, that British/Scottish people just did that. But this on wasn’t as easy to write off as ‘love’ or ‘bonnie’, average pet names in the UK colloquial, no sweet seemed personal.
“I’m not bothered.” You glanced away again, nose wrinkling, even though you were bothered- hot and bothered. John Price had a way of drawing details out of people with just a look and a couple of well prodded words. With a deep breath, you tried to keep your characteristic rambling to a minimum, a losing battle as he starting stroking at his beard with those long fingers- two parts of him that you’d been thinking about way too much lately-, “Listen, I’m not judging, you’re grown men, watch what you want to, but just a reminder that it’s my job and obligation to review every link and site that government devices visit. Which includes at least skimming videos. In case you didn’t know or maybe forgot that I can and do see these things, so maybe you could pass that along to the boys-“
“You can tell 'em yourself. ’s your job, sweet.” Price said firmly. The girlish part of your brain corrected ‘firmly’ to dominantly. Before his demeanor relaxed again, giving you an amused, appraising look again, “At my place. Tonight. 8 o’clock. Not a request.” Shrinking in your chair a bit, hoping the chair hid the way your thighs involuntarily clenched, you couldn’t help but nod and squeak, “Yes, sir.”
___
Was supposed to have actually smut in this but I got carried away on the build-up, laugh out loud. Maybe a part three or you can just imagine how the little dinner party goes (hint, she's the meal)

What could've been
So this is a small one shot about BB not getting injured and how I imagined it would've gone... I hope you enjoy it and if you have any questions feel free to ask me anytime – it might take me a day or two to reply but please feel free to send in your asks
Lucy knew you would be the greatest player that ever set a foot on the pitch. She watched you grow up training with her. You could barely hold your balance but you were able to kick a ball. Lucy immediately saw the potential you had. You were a rough diamond. Every time you saw a ball you toddled over as quickly as you could falling over three or more times before getting there but the moment you were close enough you just kicked it away laughing happily toddling after it again. Your sister watched with pride how you developed through your kid years until City picked up on your talent. You were just short of your sixth birthday when City asked Lucy for a meeting. They told her they saw you kicking about with her after a game and kept an eye on you and they were very happy with what they saw. Your sister agreed quickly to bring you in one day for a trail training day. So you were 5 Years, 354 days and 7 hours old when Lucy pulled your first City jersey over your head. Even tho it was just a trainings jersey and it was two sizes too big for your small frame you and her sported the same proud look. Hers was more noticeable than yours but you copied her anyway. The girls you had to play with were older and bigger than you so your first session didn't go as well as Lucy hoped. You got pushed around a lot. Your body more on the ground than not and at one point your sister thought about pulling you out but Trainer told her to leave it. She was right – every time you got pushed over you stood back up running after the ball. You were a true Bronze. Competitive to no end. Tough – not only was it your name it was also your personality. One of the girls tackled you hard and it took you a moment longer to get up Lucy already on her way over when your new trainer stopped her
“You're worse than any soccer mom” your trainer rolled her eyes pulling Lucy back by her jacket
“That little.... girl... fouled my sister... hard... that should've been a yellow” your sister gestured upset towards the field
“We don't have cards here” Linda deadpanned
“Well... then start using them” Lucy said upset “... they have to learn at some point... start young... so they know what's going on”
“Lucy... I understand you're nervous...” your trainer started
“I'm not nervous” your sister interrupted defensive
“You are a wreck...” Linda rolled her eyes again “.... your sister is good... by far better than anyone I've seen so far... she'll come far... but you have to let her do it herself...”
“That's my baby sister out there” Lucy growled “... I will make sure that little.... …. girl.... won't ever set foot on a pitch again if she fouls my sister again”
“Well... that's not how it works around here” your trainer said calm “... stop being overbearing... y/n will learn to deal with fouls”
Spoiler alert – Lucy and you both dealt with fouls the same... not well at all. You were always the first in a Refs face while your sister preferred to get into players faces.
With 12 you were invited to train with the senior squad the first time. Again Lucy was proud her chest puffed out when her trainer informed her that you would join the squad next week to see how you could keep up. You whined the whole way home to Keira to keep Lucy in check because your sister was so embarrassing. Keira just chuckled and promised to do her best but you both knew that it was useless. Just like the first time your sister pulled your first senior jersey over your head smiling widely.
“Luuuuccyyyy” you whined ashamed
“What...” Lucy asked pulling the jersey over your head “... we have to keep the tradition going”
“I'm old enough to dress meself....” you tried to push her away but it was no use
“It's tradition...” your sister grumbled as she tried to duck away from flailing arms
“You can't keep doing that” you whined again “... it's embarrassing”
“I don't care...” Lucy huffed grabbing your arm trying to get it through the sleeve
“Lucyyy...” you whined pulling against her grip
“Stop it...” your sister grumbled
“Keiraaaaaa....” you cried out for help only get met with an amused looking face from your sister girlfriend
“Sorry Bits...” Keira smirked “... she told me she will do it no matter what and I sat the stakes high...”
“I'm abstaining something very important for you....” Lucy mumbled as she finally got you into the trainings shirt
“Jesus...” you groaned “... why would you tell me stuff like that?!”
“Because I love you” your sister grinned “... now come on... show em how good you are”
You were 15 years, 300 days and 15 hours old when you played your first WSL game. It was against Brighton and you came on for Alex Greenwood who looked like a proud mother when she jogged over sending you into your first game in the 73rd minute. Lucy made Alana swap positions so she was standing next to you playing centre back instead of right back and you realized pretty quickly that first – Lucy was shit as a centre back and secondly... you weren't a defender. Your runs pushed high into the midfield and together with Keira you created chance after chance for Hempo, White and Raso. Even for Georgia – the new girl. She was nice but you couldn't really say anything else about her. Except for that she idolizes your sister and tried to copy her as good as possible which you found weird. It was just Lucy... if that girl wanted to idolize someone, she should pick someone good and famous – like... Rapinoe, Sinclair, Renard or Marta. But not Lucy.
“Come on Bubs...” you heard Lucy yell “... head in the game!”
“I'm right next to you you daft goldfish” you shot back pulling a face
“Concentrate” your sister sneered
“We're up 4 – 0.... I could start my French lesson with Kari and it wouldn't make any difference” you started to argue and your sister saw you were bored out of your mind
“It's disrespectful” Lucy said now calmly “... I know you want the big games but you also need the experience first”
“Against Brighton??” you looked at her confused “... if I score a goal from here... can I play against Atletico?”
“No....” your sister shot down your idea “... you'll train and you'll learn and get minutes and experience and THEN you'll get minutes in the big games”
“Keira” you whined stomping your foot
“Kinda busy here Bits” Keira huffed trying to get the ball of an opponent player so you just sprinted towards them getting possession and just belted it away
“Now you’re not...” you said as a matter of fact “... Lucy is mean and I'm bored”
“Bitsy....” your “other mom” looked at you with a blank face “... you just scored”
“Yes, I know...” you shrugged your shoulders “... their defence was off the whole game... there was always enough space between the near post and the backline”
“YOU SCORED!!!” Georgia screamed as she jumped on your back
“And you get off me” you immediately threw her off again “... jumping on me back without knowing me... didn't your parents teach you any manners??”
“Sorry” Georgia mumbled looking like a kicked puppy
“Don't take it personal G...” Keira laughed “... she's grumpy because Lucy apparently said something she didn't like”
“I just thought it was a good goal” the young player mumbled ashamed
“Oh it was... but Bitsy is... special... right now that goal doesn't mean shit to her... she's hung up on her argument with her sister...” Keira squeezed her friends shoulder “... you'll learn that these two are different than other siblings”
“Great goal Bubs” Lucy ruffled your hair smiling “... you still won't start Atletico”
“You suck” you snapped stomping back to your position “... and you suck as a centre back!!”
“One day she'll play for the biggest clubs” your sister looked after you grinning widely
Lucy leaving for Lyon was hard on you. You got used to her presence on the pitch behind you. You got used to her having your back always offering you a hand pulling you back up when you ate grass again. Always being there when you stayed down a second too long. So her moving to France was hard. You understood – kinda. It was good for her career but not good for your head. Keira did what she could to maintain your daily routine as good as possible but alone the drive to the Academy send you into a frenzy most days. Nick noticed your play was off so he put you back on the bench at first and then back into the B-Team. This set you off even more up to the point where you got physically sick every time you needed to go to training. Keira gave Lucy regular updates even telling her that it got worse with you and she didn't know what to do anymore. Your sister your saviour and protector came back to Manchester the first chance she got with the plan to slap some sense into you but when she saw you like a heap of misery hunched over on the couch all her aggression about you throwing away a big chance like this flew out the window
“Bubs...” Lucy said softly not wanting to scare you
“Hm...” you looked up your eyes dull
“Oh Bubs...” your sister sighed pulling you up and against her holding you tightly “... what were you thinking Bubs?”
“You just left” you mumbled emotionless against her shoulder not hugging her back
“We talked about it Bubs...” Lucy kept her voice low “... you're all grown up now and you don't need me anymore...”
“I don't want you to leave” you started to sniffle
“It's okay Bubs...” your sister pressed a kiss to your temple “... I've got a few days off now...”
“Not days Luce...” you were silently crying now “... not leaving”
“It's my job Bubs... you'll understand one day” Lucy sighed noticing how light you became “... we'll get you back on track and then you'll join me in Lyon okay”
“Don't wanna go there” you sniffed
“It's amazing there Bubs... they have so many ways to train... you have to see their gym Bubs... it's like the holy grail...” your sister talked while she gently maneuvered you to the kitchen table “but now we'll get some food into you and then we'll get you to bed, hm?”
It took Lucy all of seven days until she got you to eat small portions again. They were small and even when just a bite too much had you sprinting to the toilet again she was happy with her accomplishment. Five small meals a day. That's what you agreed on – breakfast at 8, then at 11 again, Lunch at 1.30, another small meal at 4 and dinner latest at 7.30. Your sister knew how much you needed your daily routines and she drilled it into Keira to keep those routines. As much as Keira tried after Lucy left you fell into old habits again. Skipping meals, training and meetings. The blonde called your sister completely shattered how she can't watch you kill yourself. Again Lucy jumped on a plane flying back to Manchester. This time tho she went to her girlfriend first telling her that she couldn't have done it without her and whatever happened it's not Keiras fault. Keira cried into Lucys broad shoulder and in the end Lucy stayed the night reassuring her girlfriend over and over again how good she was. The next morning when your sister entered your home you were already gone and much to her annoyance nobody knew where to. It was late at night when Lucy heard the keys open the front door and you entered the house
“Nice for you to join us for Dinner” your sister deadpanned
“What... Mum and Dad called the cavalry to slap some sense into me?” you shot back your voice just as emotionless
“It was actually Keira...” Lucy kept her voice flat
“Hm.... the girlfriend” you hummed finally pulling your shoes off
“What happened to you?” your sister asked bluntly
“I'm growing up Luce... it happens to the best of us” you shrugged wandering over to the fridge looking inside to see your mother left you dinner but you weren't hungry so you just closed the door again
“You are doing fuck all” finally Lucy showed some emotion “... you're killing yourself”
“And in what universe do you care?” you shot back your voice getting louder as well
“That's not fair y/n... you KNOW I care...” your sister getting loud now too “... what the hell is going on with you lately?”
“Whatever” you rolled your eyes pushing past Lucy
“Oh no...” Lucy panted out a laugh “... you are NOT running from me”
“Fuck off Lucy” you sneered as your sister tried to grab your wrist
“Y/n Tough Bronze...” your sister sneered back just as hostile “... tell me NOW what's going on with you?”
“You don't care anyway... go back to France and leave me the fuck alone” you were now full on yelling turning to leave again
“You don't talk to me like that” Lucy yelled following you up the stairs
“What is going on here? It's past midnight” your mum appeared on the hallway
“She wouldn't leave me alone” you exclaimed upset pointing at Lucy
“She JUST came home Mum...” your sister explained “... I just want to know what's going on with her”
“Can you please yell at each other quieter?” your Mum rolled her eyes getting reminded at the situations she already lived through with Lucy and Sophie
“She can just leave me alone and I wouldn't have to say anything at all” you growled shoving Lucy hard who now stood next to you
“Just talk to me” Lucy begged “... I just want to help you”
“THEN GO BACK TO FRANCE AND FUCK OFF.....” you exploded “.... AND WHEN YOU'RE AT IT – PLEASE CRASH ON THE WAY THERE!!!”
Lucy and your Mum stood there frozen as you threw the door shut so hard that two pictures fell off the wall
“Bubs...” your sister looked at the closed door tears pooling in her eyes
“Lucy...” your Mum said softly “... she doesn't mean it... I promise... she's just going through a lot right now...”
“Why does she hate me?” Lucy asked her voice breaking
“She doesn't.... she's a teenager Lucy...” your Mum pulled her eldest daughter into a hug “... there's a lot of change going on lately and you know never was good with changes... Go to bed Love... try again later”
“I don't have time Mum...” your sister cried into her mothers shoulder “... I need to go back tonight”
“You'll find a way Lucy” your Mum kept her voice gentle “... you always did”
“Pack a bag” Lucy all but kicked down your door a few hours later
“What?” you asked sleepy not registering what's happening
“Pack... a... bag” your sister repeated while she opened your curtains “... you have an hour.... if you even think of running... I'm still faster then you”
“Go an fuck off Lucia” you now growled throwing the next best thing at her which was a glass that shattered at the wall behind your sister
“You're coming with me to Lyon” Lucy continued not even fazed by your hostile behaviour “... Mum okay-ed it, I can keep an eye on you and I'll make sure you'll be too tired to even think about fucking up”
“You can't just...” you exclaimed shocked
“Oh but I can...” your sister replied calmly “... 58 Minutes... if you're not done, I'll come back up and pull you out of your room meself”
“I hate you!” you yelled after her as she left you alone again
“I don't care” Lucy yelled back smirking to herself
“Welcome to France” your sister sing songed as you exit the plane
“It's dirty and it smells like a trash pit” you grumbled as Lucy threw her arm around your shoulders
“Stop being grumpy” Lucy chuckled
“I still hate you and I still wished we crashed” you growled
“Hm... yeah... sorry I couldn't help you with that...” your sister kept her voice light and her mood calm “... we're gonna pick up your luggage and then we'll drive to me flat... tomorrow at 8 we have to be at the trainings grounds and you'll come with me.... if you don't come willingly I'll force you”
“You can't...” you snapped
“I can... what you wanna do? Run away? Good luck... they don't speak english here... Book a flight back? Good luck again... you don't have the money and on top you need to be accompanied by an adult...” Lucy gave you a reality check “... oh an the longer you decide to be all twaty the longer you'll stay with me and train here...”
“First chance I get I'll end your career” you growl helplessly
“Come on Bubs...” Lucy yelled from behind you “... keep an eye on the other right winger”
“Well... for what are you there?” you turned around frustrated as Eugénie Le Sommer took the ball off you again
“To get you back in line” your sister smirked and you used a stray ball to belt it towards her missing her by inches
“Tu vas mieux” Wendi smiled ruffling your hair
“No idea what you said but... tu es nul aussi” you shrugged your shoulders making all the French players burst out laughing
“You getting gooder” Wendi laughed
“Gooder is not a word... frog leg” you grumbled
“Lucy... dis-lui qu'elle va bien” Eugénie laughed
“They say you're getting better Bubs...” Lucy smiled her chest puffed out proudly
“They could also learn english... no one speaks French in the world... everyone speaks english...” you grumbled as you started to dribble a little bit
“Stop being so grumpy all the time... they were nice enough to let me bring you here” your sister groaned
“Yeah well... I'm not here by choice” you huffed picking up with your foot volleying it towards the goal
“Bubs please...” Lucy rolled her eyes still haven't figured out what was going on with you
“Please what?” you snapped watching the ball hitting the back off the net
“Just talk to me” your sister said and everyone around slowly but surely stepped back giving you two some space
“What you wanna hear? How alone I felt when you left? How suddenly it wasn't fun anymore to play? How the whole team sucked when you weren't standing behind me anymore? How it feels to hear “... Lucy would do it this way... Lucy would've cleared that ball easily... Lucy was more alert... Lucy Lucy Lucy” all the damn time? How nothing made sense anymore?” it exploded out of you
“Breath” was everything Lucy said fixing you with a stare her hands grabbing your shoulders “Breath Bubs...”
You didn't even realize that you stopped breathing – you just had to get if off your chest. So when Lucy grabbed your shoulders you just shook your head not knowing how to react. Your sister sprang into action shaking you a little bit
“Breath” Lucy said firmly seeing how your face lost colour “Damnit BREATH Bubs”
THAT did the trick and you sucked in a deep breath
“Good... good Bubs” your sister said relieved “... another one... perfect... come on... deep breaths”
“I don't wanna play anymore” you whispered tears springing to your eyes
“If you really don't want to play anymore that's okay Bubs” Lucy pulled you against her hugging you tightly “... it would be a great loss for the football world but it would be okay”
“I don't want to play without you anymore” you started crying your sobs wrecking through your body
“I need to at the moment...” your sister whispered against your hair “... I want to play against you in the Champions League...”
“I don't want to play against you” you sobbed grabbing onto Lucys trainings shirt tightly
“You scared you'll lose?” Lucy chuckled “If you don't want to Bubs you don't have to... but you're so good... it would really be a loss to football”
“Can't I just play here with you?” you sniffed
“No...” your sister said gently “... City needs you... England needs you... KEIRA needs you”
“Keira has a new BFF... her names Georgia... strange girl” you hick uped
“She still needs her Bitsy more than you realize” Lucy kept her voice soft “... you're the only Bronze she has left... the other Bronze”
“I need you back home Lucy” you mumbled against her shoulder
“I'll be back for Camp soon...” your sister kissed your forehead “... I need you to get your shit together by then okay”
“Not for Camp Luce...” you looked at her your eyes red and puffy “... for forever”
“Soon Bubs... I promise” Lucy kissed your forehead again
“Don't be nervous Bits” Keira mumbled standing behind you in the tunnel
“How couldn't I be? I'm 15 and playing Champions League...” you mumbled back your whole body vibrating
“You are the best out there...” the blonde put her hand on your shoulder trying to ground you
“It's Lucy we're playing against” you took a shaky breath
“As soon as you step on that pitch she's not Lucy... she's the opponent you need to beat” Keira said her voice low knowing just how hard it was to convince yourself
“As if you could..” you started
“I have to... it's Champions League.. even to we'll get another chance I don't want to travel to Lyon having to chase down goals to get those three points”
“Got it... go out... tank them over Manc style” you mumble to yourself
“Exactly... show the world that you are the better Bronze Bitsy” Keira smiled seeing how your whole presence changed into game mode
“Come on Ref!!” you yelled upset as you picked yourself up again being the main target of Lyon “Can you PLEASE for the love of the Lord and Baby Jesus do your job??”
“Bitsy” Keira quickly jogged over pulling you back “... calm down... don't let them get to you”
“Easy for you to say... I was more on the ground that I was playing” you grumbled brushing some grass of your shorts
“Then use your brain to find a solution...” the blonde pressed a quick kiss to your temple and suddenly you had an idea and you quickly turned around
“Beattie” you yelled out running over to the Scott
“What you need F'anwylyd?” the Scott looks surprised
“Switch with me” you mumbled quickly so no one could hear you
“Scuse me?” the older player looked confused
“You go into midfield I hang back” you pressed knowing the whistle would holler any second
“Why?” Jennifer asked even more confused
“They're targeting me... when I'm in defence they don't have as much space but you'll have more space to move and get a play going” you explained pushing the Scott forward as the whistle was blown
“Good move Bubs” Lucy hugged you sideways as she walked next to you into the tunnel for half time
“Are you even allowed to speak to me?” you grumbled
“Just made you a compliment” your sister pulled a face at your mood
“Bronze...” you heard Keira holler and both of you looked up “... leave me teammate and go eat some frog legs”
“Uh... someone fucked up” you snickered seeing how Lucys face fell
“I'll unfuck it later” Lucy pushed you towards Keira offering a small smile which Keira mirrored
“I can't believe you scored that banger” Keira laughed loudly as you got bulldozed over by your teammates
You scored... at a Champions League game... at home... against Lyon... from the box – not Lyons box... your box. It was the last minute of the game and Karen told you to just belt it out of her box after there was a ruffle just in front of her goal and she lost sight of the ball for a split second. Lyon threw everything at City and you did what you've been told. Somehow the ball fell right in front of your feet and Karen yelled at you and so you just swung your leg back to then kick the ball full force down the field. Everyone followed the ball some in shock some in awe as the ball sailed down the pitch towards the opposite goal. Pauline was way off her line and when she saw which direction the ball went she sprinted back but came to late. The ball hit the back of the net as she just raced into her own box.
“I can't believe it either...” you shook your head “... Stanway get off me you pillock”
“You just scored the game winning goal” Georgia laughed loudly NOT getting off your back while Tooney decided to jump on your front
“That was a true Bronze goal” your best friend yelled her fist raised victoriously “Now no one can stop us lifting that ugly ass trophy”
Turns out someone could stop you – FC Barcelona. You made it to the semi finals when you put a foot on spanish soil. Immediately you decided you didn't like it here. It was warm and humid and warm and more humid and people didn't knew the concept of personal space. Two steps out of the plane you suddenly turned around running straight into Keira
“Woah Bits... where you wanna go?” the blonde asked amused
“Home...” you said courtly “... I don't like it here”
“It's beautiful Bits...” Keira smiled
“It's hot and humid and sticky and sunny and happy and disgusting” you grumbled
“Keep walking” the blonde laughed “... you won't go back home until after the game”
“I swear Kei if I get sunburned or a stroke I'll hold you accountable” you looked darkly at her
“Sure thing Bits...” Keira laughed pushing you forward again
“This is the last time I'll put a foot in that godforsaken country” you grumbled – it was not.
“Gooooood...” you groaned loudly “... I really hate it here”
“Why are you whining so much?” Georgia asked “This is the same facility the best players in the world train”
“Shut up Pillock” you snapped earning a warning look from Keira “It's too hot to move here”
“Our game is at 6.45 tomorrow Bits... it'll be cooler by then” Keira showed mercy and laid a cool towel over your head
“I hope it is... otherwise I'll hurt me ankle during warm up and stay in the air conditioned locker room” you grumble from under your towel
“Oh my god... that's Alexia Putellas and Jenni Hermoso” Tooney suddenly squeaked out seeing the two Barcelona players walking past the window
“Woo-hoo” you deadpanned “Two female people who are able to walk on their own... how special”
“Bitsy” Keira warned you “... stop being a tosser”
“They breath the same air as we... they're not special” you huffed
“You're unbelievable sometimes” the blonde rolled her eyes
“Stanway.... don't let her take the piss outta you” you yelled from the other side of the pitch sprinting after Alexia “.. you pillock!!!”
You were able to clear the ball just as Alexia was about to shoot throwing a dirty look at her AND Georgia
“Can't believe I have to defend too...” you huffed getting back up ignoring the hand Alexia offers you
Even tho the spanish player was a little upset you got the ball out of play before she could shoot she had to admit you were good. Far too good for her liking. So she offered you a hand to pull you back up which you ignored instead of walking past her grumbling under your breath.
“If you stand there any longer Ale you'll get roots” Jenni teased her girlfriend smirking
“This girl is so good... Jenni we need her in Barcelona” the blonde catalan answered watching as you stomped back down the field
“Well... if anyone can convince the high dogs to sign her it's you” the dark haired spaniard smiled “but now... Vamos... game isn't over Capi”
“Vale vale...” Alexia laughed as she saw Ona coming down the side line for the throw in “Keep an eye on her Jenni”
“She's too young for me” Jenni threw back but immediately drifted towards you marking you closely
“Excuse me...” you growled pushing past the large spaniard “... I can't see with your ass in me face”
“Lo siento...” the dark haired one looked perplex “.. no entiendo lo que dijiste”
“Yeah yeah whatever” you rolled your eye and suddenly sprinted forward intercepting the throw in successfully getting the ball back “... learn english if you want to have a conversation”
“This girl is a lot of work” Jenni said slightly out of breath catching up with Alexia at half time
“Tell me about it....” the blonde said “... she's everywhere and sees spaces no one else sees...”
“First time in a long time we really need to work... even Aitana looks lost” Jenni chuckled watching you as you pushed Tooney laughing
“I want her” Alexia simply said
“I feel replaced” the dark haired one looked at her girlfriend with a twinkle in her eye
“She's too young for YOU...” the blonde smirked “... not for me”
“She's not even legal...” Jenni pointed out
“And still she made you sweat” Alexia laughed
“Joder” you heard Alexia swear behind you making you smirk
“You're welcome” you smirked as you turned around already seeing Tooney flying towards you
“BANGER!!!” your best friend yelled as you caught her easily laughing at her antics “... you saw that spaniard... THAT'S how you score Champions League goals... four of you on her and she still scored”
“They don't understand you” you snorted “... you can call them twatheads and they would smile”
“They understood your banger” Tooney smiled as you put her back on the ground “... look at them”
“Don't get sloppy now Toons...” you warned “... they'll throw everything at us... they're not used to losing”
“Let them come...” your best friend matched your competitiveness “... we'll show em how it's done City style”
It was the last minute. The last minute that destroyed your dreams of lifting that “ugly ass” trophy. Of course it was Alexia Putellas from a distance. You saw that Georgia was getting tired and you couldn't blame her. The heat and humidity got to you too. On top of that you had Jenni Hermoso on you CONSTANTLY. That woman was a real pest. You saw how Georgia read Alexias move wrong getting to the right instead of the left leaving the blonde enough space to move around her. You knew that your backline was too far up to get to run into a trap so you mobilized your last power and sprinted down the pitch after Alexia. You tried to clear the ball again but the catalan learned quickly so she just stopped the ball and you slided right past her – and the ball. The second you sprung back up you saw the ball leaving her foot and you knew it was over. Barcelona celebrated that goal like it was the final and when you heard the whistle seconds after it you crouched down your head hung low
“You playing amazing” you heard someone next to you in broken english making you look up
“Not good enough” you sighed
“You making us ...” the woman made a running motion
“Run...” you offered
“Sí... run... you making us run mucho” the blonde smiled friendly
“Don't take offense in that Putellas...” you came back up “... but I really don't want to talk to you right now”
“Maybe... despacio?” Alexia looked lost
“What?” you shook your head confused
“Ehrm... slow?” the catalan asked hopefully
“Slow what?” you tried to make sense out of her
“Talk... slow?” the blonde asked a little insecure
“I no no talk you” you said like you were talking to an idiot underlining your words with gestures
“Por qué?” Alexia asked a little taken aback
“I presume that means why....” you took a breath “... look... I'm warm, sweaty and pissed off... your country is too warm and sunny for me liking... I lost a title in the last minute of the game and it was YOU who made me lose... so I no talking you”
“Eh...” the blonde was truly lost now looking at you like you were a ghost
“Ugh...” you threw your arms up “... KEIRA!!!”
“What's wrong Bits?” Keira came wandering over seeing how frustrated you were
“Make her go away...” you pointed at Alexia
“I taught you manners...” the blonde scolded you seeing how aggressively you pointed at the catalan
“I don't want to talk to her and she doesn't understand it because she's only speaking stupid spaniard” you got even mor frustrated
“Maybe she wants to congratulate you on a really good game?” Keira looked at you expectantly
“If it was a good game we'd be through to the final” you snapped now turning around leaving Keira and Alexia standing next to each other
“I'm sorry” Keira apologized to Alexia
“She good... amazing” the catalan said again not knowing what just happened
“She's hurt” the englishwoman said offering a smile “... but sí... she's amazing”
“I sorry no good ingles” Alexia apologized awkwardly
“No... your english is good...” Keira immediately shot down any insecurities the catalan could have had “... Bitsy is just.. Bitsy”
“You... maybe question her switch?” the catalan asked a little hopefully pulling a little on her jersey
“Of course...” the englishwoman smiled understanding immediately “... give me a minute... BITSY.... get your ass back here”
“NO” you yelled from the other side of the pitch talking to Tooney
“HERE.... NOW!!” Keira yelled and Alexia saw in awe how you start to trot towards Keira
“Alexia wants to swap Jerseys...” the englishwoman said giving you a warning look “... don't you dare throw a fit”
“I don't want her sweat dripping Jersey...” you looked a little disgusted
“Bitsy” Keira slapped the back of your head seeing how Alexias face fell again “If you continue to be a tosser I'll make sure to get that attitude out of you tomorrow morning 4.00”
“Doesn't she have like... a new one...” you asked carefully “... if not there are about a thousands fans here that have her jersey”
“One of the best players in the world wants your Jersey and you complain that it's a little sweaty?” Keira asks shocked
“You know I hate dirty stuff... I can't even put a plate in the sink without going back two minutes later to clean it up” you whine and for the first time Alexia saw you as the person you were
“Bitsy please... it took her a lot to ask so PLEASE....” the englishwoman said now softly knowing NOW where you were coming from
“Can you... new one?” you ask Alexia directly pointing at her jersey
“New one?” the catalan looked confused
“Yes... no sweat” you nodded hoping she understood you
“Sweat?” Alexia asked and you groaned
“Just do it Bits...” Keira nudged you gently
“But it's so sweaty...” you whined but pulled your Jersey over your head offering it to the catalan who quickly did the same with her jersey smiling widely
“You good looking at Blaugrana” Alexia smiled happily as you put her jersey on
“Don't get used to it...” you wave off “... that's gonna be the last time you'll see me wearing that”
It wasn't.
“Welcome back to Barcelona Cariño” Alexia smiled as you got out of the black Cupra
“Look at that... someone knows three more words in english” you grumbled “... for your and everyones Information... I'm not here by choice”
“I studied hard to make you feel more welcome” the catalan kept the smile on her face being told by Lucy before not to give into your current mood
“Yeah well... if your club wouldn't have made me club selling me and I would've had a CHOICE to be here I would feel SO welcomed” you growled keeping your distance to the blonde
“Cari... your club is Barcelona now” the blonde said softly
“It isn't... it'll never be...” you snapped “... I hated it here the last time and this time isn't any different”
“Your sister plays here...” Alexia pointed out “... didn't you want to play with her again? Keira joined too....”
“I got used to play without Lucy...” your voice dripping with venom “... let's get this over with... what do I have to do?”
“I'll show you around a little and then there will be a photoshoot” the blonde sighed seeing in your body language that there will be a lot of fight coming from your end
“Do I have to put on this god awful Jersey again?” you asked as you followed Alexia inside
“Yes...” she simply said as she pushed a door open “... this is our team room.... here you can come before training or stay afterwards... it's there so we all can come together and just spend time together – you are not obligated to come here I would advise it for starters... get to know the team”
“I don't need to get to know them... I know everything from them I need to know” you mumbled your mood not increasing
“Like what?” the catalan challenged you
“All their stats... passing rate... fitness... weaknesses....” you shrugged your shoulders
“That's what everyone can look up...” Alexia said gently “... I mean get to know the team personally”
“No interest in any personal stuff...” you grumbled “... I hope to get out of here by November”
“You signed a contract” the blonde pointed out
“No... I'm legally not allowed to sign contracts... my Parents signed the contract” you said as a matter of fact “... they sold me like a cheap whore”
“You really don't want to be here...” the catalan looked shocked and lost
“No I don't...” you huffed “... but don't worry... I'm professional enough to do my job... I'll be here for training... do my part at games – if I get playing time that is... and smile for pictures... other than that I just want my peace and quiet”
“Here at Barcelona we're familia...” Alexia started “... I understand that this transfer came as a surprise for you and that you had no say in it doesn't make it better... but we are familia and you are a part of that now too... give the team a chance... it's not their fault you got traded”
“Hm... interesting offer..” you thought about it for a second and Alexia really started to hope “... no”
“Okay... I can't do more then to tell you that you are familia now too...” the catalan huffed defeated “... this way to the locker rooms”
“How did it go Capi?” Lucy came to a halt next to Alexia who overlooked your photoshoot
“Not good” the blonde answered shortly
“I'm sorry...” your sister looked embarrassed
“She doesn't want to be her Lucy...” Alexia said not taking her eyes off you “... she's an emotional player and she plays so much better when her mind is at ease... but right now.. she's so angry...”
“City did her dirty Ale...” Lucy looked over to you seeing how the photographer tried to get a smile out of you “... she's hurting... I just beg you to not let her get to you.. you'll need a long breath but she's a good kid... I know it's gonna be hard but you'll need to stay calm with her and PLEASE don't let her rot on the bench”
“She's too good for the bench...” the catalan snorted “... but she's not ready to play a full game... she'll collapse...”
“She'll come around Capi I promise...” your sister said convinced “... Keira will help too... when she sees me and Keira interacting with the team she'll come around too”
“I hope so Lucy...” Alexia sighed “.... I really do hope so”
“Go back to england” you heard a fan yell towards you after your first game
“I wish I could!!!!!” you snapped back getting right into his face “You think I WANT to be here?”
“Woah Bubs...” Lucy was quickly to intercept grabbing you shoving you into Alexias arms signalling her to get you away
“What the hell?!” Alexia exploded once you were inside the tunnel
“Let go” you grunted fighting her tooth and nail
“No...” the catalan pushed you forward “... we're going to have a talk”
“In here” she pushed you into a meeting room “... what were you THINKING?!”
“I just said what I told you before” you snapped back at her “... I don't WANT to be here”
“Okay enough..” Alexia yelled and for the first time you were a little scared of her “... the team was nothing than welcoming to you... you fit into our playing style... you just played your first game and you were a game changer... I understand that you're still upset about the trade but you can't let them get to you like that”
“You... don't understand” you said your voice breaking
“Then tell me so I do” the blonde says softly seeing how you were near your breaking point
“I want to go home” it suddenly broke out of you tears streaming down your face “I want to go back to me friends and me Club...”
“Cariño...” Alexia said softly “... this is your Club now.. I understand that's difficult for you but Barcelona is your home now”
“I want to go back....” you cried standing in the middle of the room with Alexia a few feet away
“I promise this team wants to get to know you...” the blonde kept her voice gentle inching a little bit closer “... to us you already are familia... let them see how amazing you are”
“But I don't want to get to know them” you sniffled taking a the one step back that Alexia inched closer to you
“Cari... I understand this isn't what you wanted but let us help you... you need to accept that in near future nothing will change about your situation” Alexia spoke softly noticing how you still weren't ready to let her comfort you “... you ARE familia... you can be angry and fight everything or you can start to let us in and accept that we won't get off your back... we won't stop trying and we certainly won't leave you to fend for your own”
“But why?” you felt so uncomfortable
“You are familia” the catalan repeated again “You are my Cariño, Mapís Neña, Ingrids weird norwegian thing, Jenni refers to you as Pequeña and Ona calls you Bebita... you just doesn't want to hear it because you're so angry with this... but you are already shining but díos mio you could shine so mucho brighter”
“I just don't know how... all my life I played City Style...” you mumbled and this time you didn't move when Alexia came closer
“Just play Cari...” the blonde smiled carefully grabbing your hand letting her thumb caressing your knuckles “... just do what you love the most and the rest will come... oh... and stay away from Mapí, Piña and Patri... I have a feeling you four will give me a headache”
“I don't need them...” you huffed “.... I can headache you all by meself”
“Oh Cari” Alexia laughed loudly pulling you into a tight hug
“Mapí!!!!” you yelled sprinting down the side line Alexia hot on your heels
“I got you Neña...” the Zaragoza yelled throwing a filled water balloon at her best friend hitting Alexia square in the chest
“Uh oh...” Mapí looked horrified as the blonde catalan came to a sudden halt turning towards her
“Neña...” the tattooed spaniard stammered slowly walking backwards as Alexia made her way over “... NEÑAAAA!!!!”
“Run you spanner... RUN!!” you yelled turning on your heels running back to help Mapí so you decided to jump on Alexias back laughing loudly
“I TOLD you you two are NOT allowed to be unsupervised” the catalan grumbled yet still her hands came around securing you on her back so you wouldn't hurt yourself
“The grumpy norwegian was there” you laughed your arms hanging loosely around the blondes neck
“She has a name” Caro grumbled when she walked past flicking your ear
“Grumpy... see” you exclaimed trying to avoid another flick nearly brining Alexia down
“Stop it you little pest...” Alexia huffed trying to hold her balance with you wriggling on her back “... go annoy Jenni”
“But you are victim of the day” you pouted with Mapí nodding furiously behind Ingrid
“And you will be winner of extra laps in a second... go annoy someone else” the blonde set you back down
“But..” you started again
“Vamos... I have media to do...” Alexia pushed you away slightly smiling to herself when she heard you huff.
It took you around four month until you finally agreed to join the team for a dinner and Alexia decided to push you out of your comfort zone placing you between herself and Irene. Lucy wasn't happy about it fussing over you the entire time you were still closed off pulling back every time one of the other players reached out to you. Now no one could ever imagine that you once were a lone wolf. Just as Alexia predicted you hit it off with Mapí, Piña and Patri – much to the Captains dismay. All three Captains. Jenni always sweared hell and poison on the frustrating four when she was on the receiving end of your pranks
“Jenni already left” you pouted holding onto Alexias trainings jersey
“Then annoy your sister” the blonde waved off
“Ay!!!” Lucy exclaimed from the other side of the pitch looking shocked
“Lucy!!!” you yelled and immediately you and Mapí took off towards her
“No no no no no no no” your sister waved her hands panicked not knowing where to go – so she did what she thought was best... she grabbed Ona pulling the small spaniard in front of her using her as a human shield
“Atureu-vos!!” Ona strictly said giving you and Mapí are warning glare making you halt in your movement Mapí running into your back pushing you forward nearly into Ona
“Are you serious?” the smaller spaniard turned around looking at her girlfriend “A re you really using me to stop YOUR sister?”
“They are scared of you” Lucy shrugged her shoulders embarrassed smiling apologetic
“Unbelievable” Ona rolled her eyes shooing the two of you away “Trobeu algú més”
“What she saying?” you looked confused at Mapí
“She's a not fun person” Mapí grumbled pulling you away “That what she's saying”
“I knew that already...” you huffed letting the tattooed spaniard pull you forward “... she always brings home these fin things... and then leaves them laying around in the kitchen”
“You would benefit from eating fish from time to time as well Bebita” the small spaniard yelled after you “.... now to you”
“I... love you??” Lucy smiled hopefully knowing she was in deep shit
It was safe to say you finally found your place. In a country that was still too hot for your liking. With a team that included 75% lunatics. With a playing style you needed to get used too. But you fit in. Alexia took you under her wing staying after trainings when she noticed you hid a ball from the staff to train on your own. The blonde watched you working on your technique, speed and stamina. She left you to sort your problems out on your own before stepping back on the pitch offering help and sometimes a shoulder to cry on when you got overwhelmed or frustrated.
Jenni took it upon herself to shield and protect you from the world. Whenever someone came to close and she saw how uncomfortable you got she pushed herself between you and the offending person. She also pushed herself between you and some fans when you lost your temper starting to argue with them. Most of the time you climbed on the lanky spaniards back to continue to argue just from a higher point. Jenni was one of the few people who was allowed to carry you when you fell asleep on the bus after a game or to the way to one.
Irene mothered you like she mothered Mateo. She always made sure you drank enough – not sugary stuff tho – eat properly and got enough sleep. When you were extremly grumpy and close to a tantrum she'll be the one putting her foot down sending you to your hotel room without dessert to later pay you a visit talking it out. At one point she even made sure that she packed a spare kit for you since you've been known to not be the cleanest eater. The amount of times the poor kit woman had to try to get tomato sauce out of your clothes were uncounterable. So Irene took over the task to have everything ready if needed. Including the cereal bars you absolutely loved but made the nutrition coach get a stroke.
Ingrid was the one who always managed to calm you down. You were young and hot headed and while you got quite good holding in your temper if the other players prodded you once to often you just exploded in their faces. So everyone looked at Ingrid to retrieve you and calm you down. The natural calmness of the norwegian made it hard for you to keep fuelling your fire. Ingrid just kept her hand lightly on the back of your neck and instantly you calmed down.
Frido was the fun Aunt who bought you everything you asked for and even stuff you didn't ask for. That's how you ended up with a motocross bike for your 18th birthday much to the horror of Keira, Ona, Alexia, Irene and obviously your Mum. Lucy and Jenni already debated who could have the bike on what day of the week until Ona and Alexia put a firm stop on their discussion confiscating the keys immediately. Frido had to hand out her credit card to Alexia until she thought of a more useful less dangerous present. So Frido got you a car with the argument less dangerous since more metal around you. This time Irene fished the Keys out of your hand telling you you'd get them back once you passed your drivers license and showed them you were a good driver. The swede just rolled her eyes at the adults calling them spoilsports earning herself five extra laps.
Aitana was your go-to for quietness. The quiet spaniard never bothered you or minded your presence and sometimes this was just what you needed. You also made it to your personal goal to teach her proper english after you heard her ask a fan if they “work or no work”. You had a coronary.... right there. Aitana taught you catalan. You asked her to keep it a secret until you were fluent enough to join a conversation throwing half the team off. The brown haired spaniard agreed smirking evilly when you out of the blue joined a conversation between Alexia and Ona giving your two cents before casually walking down the tunnel towards the locker rooms leaving the two dumb folded.
And then there were Mapí, Piña and Patri. Together with you the team called you the “frustrating four” since when you four were together in one place it'll frustrate the adults to no end trying to figure out what prank you'll come up with next. Or get frustrated by your pranks. The three women were your saviour. Mapí might be small and appeared to be easy going but in reality she loved you like a sister and fought every one who said a bad word against you. Piña was the one who poked you to do something that would get the four of you in immense trouble but she knew you were the one having a special stand with Alexia and Irene so your punishment would be lighter. Patri was the one always cheering you on. No matter if it was on or off the pitch. Whenever you needed a cheerleader you knew Patri was there. She made you run faster, jump higher, shoot harder. She also made you run faster when Alexia was on your heels again.
All of them got to witness how you grew from the angry unhappy girl to the mostly grown up focused young woman. That's why Alexia – La Reina de Barcelona – waited to lift the Champions League trophy until you were next to her when you won your first ever title. You were the first who lifted the trophy (the ugly ass trophy which Tooney pointed out several times next camp) after your Captain even before Irene and Jenni did. And just as your team celebrated, singing loudly you tip toed away finding the person you grew to like very much over the past year. You knocked on the visitors locker room door nervously and asked for the woman who came out and you saw how much the loss took a toll on her
“Here to gloat your victory around?” the woman asked her shoulders hung low
“No... here to win again” you grinned taking her face into your hands kissing her softly
“I knew you liked me all those years” the blonde grinned once the kiss ended
“Pillock” you snorted as you felt her hand grab the back of your neck pulling you in for another kiss

Love & Loathing: The First Christmas | Series Masterlist
The holidays feel lonely without your friends and family. Wanda faces her first Christmas after her divorce and miscarriage. The two of you build your first tradition.
Word count: 2635
Tags: some angst, light manipulation, foreshadowing of future toxic relationship as seen in main series, writing this after already writing the main series reminded me of emily im sorry by boygenius! sad!
Wanda’s cart came to an abrupt stop when a young child suddenly ran away from his mother to the other side of the aisle, passing in front of her without warning. Her orange juice lurched forward then fell onto her carrots.
The child’s mother quickly came over, scolding her son for running in front of a moving cart as he begged her to buy rainbow chip cookies for Santa, oblivious to the fact that Wanda and her full cart were still standing idly behind him, unable to skirt around.
“I’m sorry,” she apologized after giving in to the rainbow chip cookies once her son apologized to Wanda too. He went to place the package in their cart. “Holiday shopping makes them a little wild too, I suppose.” She laughed like she was telling her an inside joke.
Them, like a proper noun.
“Children, yes,” Wanda conceded with a small nod and a smile. “I understand. But rainbow chip is a great pick. Very considerate of Santa’s tastes.” She looked over at the young boy who waited for his mother patiently, then seemed bashful when he made eye contact with Wanda.
Wanda then noticed the woman’s eyes flicker down to her left hand, barren of a wedding ring, and then to her cart, empty of what a mother would shop for her children for. Wanda dropped her left arm to her side, suddenly feeling uncomfortable.
After finishing up her grocery list, she strolled back down the cookie section and picked up a package of the rainbow chip cookies. As she walked to the checkout line, she ran her eyes across her cart — orange juice, the Pillsbury cookies you liked, eggs, milk, bagels, your favourite ice cream flavour, some things for the washroom, baking ingredients for a recipe you’d been wanting to try, some snacks, fruits and vegetables, and the rainbow chip cookies.
She put her left glove on first, then her right, then started to place her things on the conveyor.
“My kids have been in a baking craze since they got off school,” the cashier told her as she bagged her flour, then her vanilla extract. “It must be the season.”
Wanda looked up from her wallet then smiled.
“Mine too,” she said.
When she arrived at home, you were sitting at the dining table on your laptop. It was nearing the end of the semester, so you still had a few more final assignments to finish. You stood and helped Wanda unload the groceries.
“Hi, baby,” she greeted once all the bags were on the counter. She reached and placed her palm against your furthest cheek, pulling you in for a kiss on the temple.
“Hi,” you answered with a smile, putting some things away into the fridge. “Did you get the Pillsbury cookies? You saw the holiday ones, right?”
Wanda handed you the milk. “I did. There were only the snowmen.”
“That’s fine. I just wanted something that was Christmas themed.”
The rainbow chip cookies came out last. Wanda had never tried them, and it wasn’t on the shopping list, and you hadn’t asked for it before. She handed them to you as you stored some things away into the cupboards.
“Do you like these? They were on sale,” she suddenly lied.
You took them from her, eyes running over the package. Then you set it on the counter with a contemplating hum as you peeled it open and looked inside. “Oh, I do like these. I last had them when I was really young.”
After dinner, you resumed working on your laptop, cuddled up beside Wanda on the couch as she flipped through Netflix for something to watch. She had a glass of white wine in hand and an arm around your shoulders, fastening the shared blanket around your body.
You’d been trying to apply for some jobs lately; after declaring a temporary leave from college starting next semester, you wanted to start working a little to make some income and keep yourself busy. You were hoping for something part-time and very casual.
The gold Christmas lights Wanda had hung up around the fireplace and curtains glowed warm, enveloping the living room in something gentle and festive. There wasn’t any other light on aside from the stovetop in the kitchen, so the laptop screen felt particularly intrusive.
“What are you working on?” she asked, putting her phone down and looking down at you from the rim of her glass as she took a sip.
“A final essay. It’s pretty overdue.”
Wanda eyed the tabs you were switching between. “Overdue? Online courses not working well?”
“I thought it might be better for me but…” you trailed off, your fingers pausing atop the keyboard. Your index finger tapped ever so slightly against the E key, just enough to make the plastic sound against the board.
“Is something on your mind…?” Wanda asked, setting the remote down. She craned her neck down and brushed her nose against your cheek.
Your fingernail traced the top edge of the D key. “It just feels like I’m always behind. I keep trying to change things around so maybe I might find something I can finally get accustomed to — online courses, a lesser course load.”
Then, quietly, you added, “My friends don’t even ask to study with me anymore. I know I declared a leave, but...”
The Christmas lights reflected against Wanda’s glass, and against the pale golden hue of her wine, it looked like she was drinking champagne, slightly flat.
She set the glass on the coffee table then carefully closed your laptop, allowing you to remove your hands from the keyboard. She placed it down, closed, beside her wine. Instinctively, you curled up and leaned your head against her chest, and Wanda wrapped both arms around you, one hand coming to cradle the side of your head.
Before she could say anything, you said, “They invited me out to the Christmas market downtown a few days ago.”
Something tightened in Wanda’s stomach and she looked down at you, but your face was covered by your hair and some of the blanket which was wrapped around her arms.
“Really? You didn’t tell me,” she said.
“I know. I’m sorry. I didn’t know what to say at first.”
“Say to whom? To them or me?”
“I don’t know…” you muttered quietly. “Both.”
Wanda’s hand tightened around your shoulder. You buried your cheek against her chest, feeling like she was holding you tighter against her. Instead, Wanda felt tense; the idea that you could feel about her in any similar way that you did for your friends made her feel like she was just as disposable and temporary.
“Did you go…?” Wanda asked, trying to keep her voice from sounding strained as she feared the answer might be that, yes, you did make plans and see other people in your life without telling her.
If your feelings of uncertainty were the same between her and your friends, and you ended up seeing them and not telling her, wasn’t that the same as you picking them over her? Leaving her behind like some afterthought, only to come up later when you felt a little insecure about something?
You shook your head, and Wanda took a breath through her nose, tension in her lungs dissipating. Then you lifted yourself from her chest and reached for your phone. Wanda pulled you back against her when you leaned back, but now your head was on her shoulder instead of her chest so you could both look at your phone screen together.
You showed her a picture on Instagram of your friends together at the market.
“I’m sorry, honey,” Wanda said, brushing her nose against your temple then kissing your cheek. “But you wouldn’t have really enjoyed yourself if you were with them, would you?”
“I don’t know…” you mumbled, eyes still on the screen, obviously not really caring what she was saying, and still feeling rather down about it.
Wanda bit the side of her tongue a little at your passive insistence that you still cared about the fact that they hung out without you. “Baby, you always say that you don’t really feel like you fit in when you’re with them. Don’t you say that…?”
“Yeah.”
“And what did we do that day, anyway? We went shopping for decorations, right? And got dinner? Wasn’t that much more fun?”
You nodded and looked up.
Wanda felt her breath hitch and snag in her throat when you met her eyes. She swallowed, wondering what you might be thinking when you looked at her like that.
“I… I’m really happy we’re spending the holidays together,” you said quietly. Your phone dimmed then locked, the image of your friends forgotten.
Her lungs filled with air and her expanding rib cage pushed gently against your upper arm.
“Me too, Y/N.”
A warm hand cupped your cheek, smooth fingers brushing against your soft skin. She looked over your face in great detail.
When the thought came over her, wondering what similarities you held in comparison to your mother and father, Wanda looked away. She reached over to get her wine glass then settled back against your side.
You leaned your head on her shoulder and Wanda rested her chin on top of it.
“Any movie you’d like to watch?” she asked, combing her fingers through your hair.
You reached for the remote and turned on the TV.
Early the next morning, you sleepily padded downstairs to see Wanda setting up the Christmas tree in the living room. She was still in her pajamas, but she had a sweater on and her hair was clipped back.
When you stepped off from the stairs, Wanda turned around to greet you with a smile. She outreached an arm for you to come over and give her a hug.
Wanda thought you were rather light on your feet; you would sometimes sneak up on her when you’d enter a room. It was a stark contrast to Vision, who was quite tall, and seemed to always walk with the frustrating burden that he’d woken into another day, living the same life as he did the day prior.
It was the recollection of painful memories like that, ones where you’d no doubt see her as a spineless, empty woman, that made Wanda all the more confident in her decision to keep truths about Vision from you. She wanted to be someone different, and better.
You walked over and wrapped your arms around her waist, tucking your head under her chin before she kissed your forehead.
“You started putting up the tree without me?” you asked, lifting your head and looking up at her.
“Oh,” Wanda replied, turning her head to look at the tree. She had only just started with the ornaments, and the cardboard box she stored the tree in was still on the floor.
She looked back down at you.
“You want to help?”
You nodded and pulled away from her before digging through the box of ornaments to begin decorating. “You shouldn’t ever decorate a Christmas tree alone unless you’re actually by yourself.”
Wanda smiled at your boldness as she watched you from behind. She pinched your side playfully, causing you to flinch away. She wrapped an arm around your waist and pulled you into her, pressing a kiss to your neck and causing you to giggle.
“I’m sorry,” she said, “I didn’t know.”
“It’s okay,” you replied. Then you shooed her away so you could continue with what you were doing.
Wanda hadn’t ever decorated with anyone else; Vision wasn’t very festive, and when she was younger, her family often travelled for work, leaving her and Pietro to celebrate alone with the company of their neighbour who watched over them.
Their neighbour was a strict elderly man who didn’t speak much English and slept most of the time, whose dialect was that which only their parents understood, and was never taught to Wanda nor Pietro. Her memories of Christmas as a jointly-celebrated holiday was reminiscent of bitter black tea, imported from her neighbour’s hometown overseas, and television on its lowest volume in the late evening, playing old holiday sitcoms.
“My parents and I got in a fight a few days ago,” you said suddenly, still hanging up ornaments.
Wanda looked at you as she adjusted the position of some of them she’d put up earlier. She thought for a moment before responding, “Is everything okay?”
“It’s okay,” you answered.
You’d been having a hard time with your parents the past few months. They were upset you’d taken a temporary leave from your schooling without consulting with them first, they were upset you’d been spending so much time with someone they’d never met, and they were upset that you hadn’t been speaking with them.
You still had a large sum of money left from when you worked more often than you attended classes, and so you were rather glad not to rely on them for any financial support, not that you often spent money while being at home with Wanda.
The change, according to them — and according to you, too — had seemingly come out of the blue. But, still, you could pinpoint when it started.
After meeting Wanda, all you wanted to do was run away from things. You wanted to run from your parents, who’d always babied you and never gave you your own choice in anything, and from school, and from your friends, and from the world.
To word it more accurately, you’ve always wanted to run away from things.
And Wanda let you.
She took you away and kept you safe.
You hung an ornament on the tree, and instead of leaning down to take another out of the box, your arms stilled at your sides and you looked down at the floor.
After a moment of silence while Wanda was busy reaching up to hang an ornament close to the top, you asked quietly, “Is it okay if I spend Christmas with you…?”
Looking up from the floor, you met Wanda’s eyes.
Wanda felt her breath hitch at the sight of you looking at her that way — expectantly, patiently, like what she said mattered to you a great deal. She leaned down and placed the ornament back in the box. She stepped towards you and wrapped her arms around your shoulders. “Of course, baby,” she answered quietly, speaking against the side of your head. “Let’s stay home for the holidays — just the two of us.”
By next week, your gifts for Wanda were wrapped and stored under the tree. You mixed them in along with the ones she’d gotten for you, so you could see them altogether.
Wanda was still at work, staying a bit later tonight, so you went out to walk through the Christmas market downtown on your own. You saw a beautiful jade hair clip that you thought would look perfect on her; you imagined the shade of green tucked within the brown of her hair, bringing out the green in her eyes, and her delicate fingers wrapping around the handle to clip it in.
Wrapped in a small box, you crouched down and placed it on top of a gift Wanda wrapped for you.
When she came back from work, Wanda found you dozing on the couch in the living room with a blanket draped around you. You were bathed in the gentle light of the Christmas tree that you’d put up together.
She quietly put her things down before approaching your delicate sleeping figure. She crouched down and carefully brushed your hair out of your face, and pressed a kiss to your forehead. “I’m home, my angel,” she whispered softly, a smile growing on her face as she watched you awaken slowly.

Jealously doesn’t look good on you🙄
paring: f1 grid x fem!mercedes f1 driver!reader
in which: the young driver seems to get on very well with the younger drivers and jealousy starts to get to the rest of the grid..
requested: yes, by anonymous: Heyy, can I request something where the reader is the youngest f1 driver and is very closed off and don't talk much to any of the drivers, however when the younger drivers are around (kimi, ollie etc) she doesn't stop talking to them and the grid can't help but get jealous of her relationship with the younger drivers. thank uuu :))
a/n: I’m back guys!! This request has been sitting in my inbox for I don’t know how long. Hope you like it and start sending me in more requests! :)
//
Y/n, a young talent, record breaker, the youngest on the grid and the paddock princess. However, despite how much the grid loves and cares for her, they don’t know a single thing about her.
The young mercedes driver was entering the paddock, smiling and waving at the cameras before making her way over to fans to sign things and take photos before she made her way into the garage.
“The fans know more about her than us,” Lando mumbled as he had watched her interaction with the fans.
“Y/n has always been like this especially in formula 2, she would only talk on the radio and interviews” Oscar added.
“She’s just shy, don’t like talking and prefer to be alone. I learnt that the hard way when she became my teammate” George said.
“I just wish she would open up to us, it’s like her whole life is a mystery to us” Charles added.
//
Later, a few of the drivers had gathered in the lounge before the start of a busy weekend. During these times, Y/n is normally on her own with her headphones with a book in hand or on her phone.
This time around, she had her knees up with her book on her lap with headphones on with no care in the whole and having no intentions of joining any conversations or banter amongst the drivers.
However, her plan didn’t stay very long as she felt her headphones being taken off her head which made her look up at the certain aussie driver.
“Danny!” Y/n exclaimed as she got up and tried to get her headphones back, only for Daniel to lift them in the air, Y/n soon realised there was no point in trying.
“C’mon, you were being anti-social!” Daniel said.
“How do you even like reading?” Lando added which earned him a glare from the young driver.
“I mean he has a point, how do you find it entertaining?” Max asked.
“This shows you lot barely finished school or dropped out” Y/n told them.
“We just want to talk to you! We know nothing about your life!” Charles added.
“There’s nothing too exciting that happened, just a normal childhood!” Y/n said before she got ahold of her headphones and went back to the same position before the drivers interrupted her.
“One day, we will get something out of her” Pierre said.
//
The morning passed, Y/n was just talking to her engineers as FP1 had just finished and were gathering information in preparation for FP2.
Y/n knew that F2 was going on this weekend, she was hoping to be able to see some of her closest friends and her wishes were fulfilled when she looked outside her garage.
She saw Ollie, Kimi and Paul chatting outside, this made her face light up with a smile, which was rare for her and she knew her team were watching her, but she didn’t care.
"Guys!!" she called out, jogging over to them.
"Y/n!" Kimi opened his arms as the young girl launched into a hug. The pair laughed as they pulled apart, before Y/n hugged Ollie and Paul.
The four started talking continuously about anything and everything and laughing, which caught the attention of the grid.
“It’s like she’s two different people,” Lando said as he nudged Oscar pointing over to the scene.
“That’s Y/n for you” Oscar replied.
//
“Y/n!” Daniel called as he made his way over to where she was sitting down on a table outside the mercedes hospitality. Soon enough, Daniel wasn’t the only drivers who joined her.
“What’s this? A gathering?” Y/n asked.
“You with Ollie, Kimi & Paul?!” Charles said.
“What about it? We are best friends, we are all practically family” Y/n replied confused.
“So they know everything about you?!” Pierre added.
“Well, duh!” Y/n told them.
“You are like a completely different person when you’re with them compared to us!” Max added.
“Didn’t realise that there was a drivers meeting outside the Mercedes hospitality” Kimi joked as he walked over with Ollie and Paul.
“They are saying I’m different person with you lot compared to them” Y/n mumbled.
“Well, they ain’t wrong!” Paul said.
“I’m going to tell your mum you still haven’t opened up to anyone but us,” Kimi joked.
“Don’t blame me if you don’t get invited over to our annual barbecue!” Y/n replied.
“Your parents love me too much to not invite me over, I’m their favourite!” Kimi added.
“We will be stealing Y/n until FP2! See you all later!” Ollie told them as he an Paul became a barrier for Y/n and Kimi.
“What the f*ck just happened?” Lando said.
“That’s one way of putting it..” Daniel replied.
“Maybe we should of just accepted it at the beginning..” Charles mumbled.
//
Throughout the rest of the day and weekend, the drivers stared down the 3 young drivers who made Y/n smile and laugh continuously.
And from that day on, the grid accepted that they were never going to find out anything about Y/n. Despite it all, they still continue to try and get stuff out of her, which leads to nothing.
They were really jealous of Ollie, Kimi and Paul.
However, they learnt the hard way that jealously doesn’t look good on them..

Goodness knows, the wicked’s lives are lonely - Sim Jake
Summary: Jake Sim doesn’t know what year it is, he doesn’t know what month it is, he doesn’t know what day it is, and he doesn’t care. Ever since that fateful day in 1692, he stopped caring. Now, it’s 2024 and he’s grown more violent, more vengeful, more cold, more… alone
vampire!Jake x fem!reader
warnings: death, themes of reincarnation, blood, y/n’s life is not easy, suggestive, biting, kissing. lmk if I missed anything
masterlist
The smell of fire was overpowering, screams echoed off of the trees but they were not afraid, no… they were… excited, passionate, enraged.
He remained where he was, hidden in the trees as he watched the people march through the forest, his forest. They carried torches that burned an angry shade of orange against the trees.
The angry crowd halted at a large tree deep in the forest. Not much could be seen from the back of the crowd, but through the smoke, a young girl could be seen climbing a platform. Her tear streaked skin illuminated by the glow to the torches as the crowd shouted curses at her.
“Burn the witch!”
“Kill that spawn of Satan”
As she looked upon the sea of angry faces she once knew. The smiles she used to see now replaced with scowls as their mouths cursed her.
In the midst of her thoughts she failed to feel the toughness of the rope against her neck until it was too late. Harsh hands shoved her off of the platform. Her told hands keeping her from struggling as she was left there to die
“what… have you done”
An angry voice boomed from deep within the woods. He stepped out onto the path. Fangs gritted in a snarl, claw-like hands bared, eyes glowing a bright red due to the reflection of the fire form the torches. His aura was fierce and intimidating as he approached the crowd. He was angry.
Without hesitation he immediately began to kill. Clawing hands clawing the chest of anyone who dared step in his path. Fangs plunging deep into the necks of every person in his sight.
By the time he laid your body on the ground, your head in his lap; tears no longer fell from your eyes. The heat that once warmed his palms as he caressed your cheeks has now almost completely disappeared. Your eyes still wide open as they gazed up at him as his own tears began to wet your pale cheeks.
“I’m so sorry… I didn’t protect you… I couldn’t save you on time my love…”
“Return to me please… Y/N…” He finished with a final kiss to your forehead as he lay you peacefully to rest.
From that moment forward, Sim Jaeyun would proceed to break every single promise he once made you.
He began to feed on humans again as he did before he met you, only this time, he was far more violent, more cruel, more… wicked.
࿎
Within the vampire world, there are councils and laws to regulate how much human blood vampires were allowed to consumed within certain time frames as the consumption of human blood has the ability to increase a vampires powers.
Sim Jaeyun no longer cared for the rules. He fed, and fed, and fed, and fed. He recklessly killed any human he wanted whenever he wanted. He didn’t care. No matter how many he killed, he couldn’t satisfy the need for revenge.
In response the higher powers banished him to an eternal prison deep in the forest where he now resides.
“They say he is bound by a magical barrier and is unable to leave the woods. They say that’s why the woods are off limits because you can no longer be protected if you step into the barrier. They say- what?! I’m not done yet” the older boy sneered at the 4-year-old who eagerly raised a hand.
“W-well what about his family. Does he get to see his mom and dad?” She asks with wide eyes
“Are you serious” the boy scoffs “He’s a monster, a wicked, blood-thirsty monster. He’s better off alone. Anyways as I was saying…”
You had heard many of the tales of the castle nestles deep within the forest. Whether you believed them or not, you were still unsure. All you know, is that the castle exists and anyone who has ever step foot in the forest has not lived to tell the tale.
Now, at the age of 20, you stare out the window at the looming spires you can see just over the tree line from the window of the orphanage you work in. The orphanage you once called home- well, still called home. Your life had been nothing easy.
Since you can remember, you’ve lived within the walls of the orphanage. No family in the town wanted to adopt you, so, you found yourself staring out the window wondering what life was like in the rest of the world. What life would be like when you finally escaped this forsaken town.
Now, as you stumble into adulthood, you’re not sure if you ever will. You were smart enough, forced to quit high school halfway through to help the older women with the young kids at the orphanage.
As December came with the cold whisper of winter, things proceeded to go as they always did. That is, until the prized daughter of the mayor of your town disappeared into the woods one night. The mayor had decided enough was enough.
“On the night of Christmas Eve, we shall sacrifice a loyal town member, a pure member of our community to try and please whatever lays beyond the edges of the forest”
I pity the poor soul who’ll end up being sacrificed due to the madness of this town. You thought as you continued to clean.
What you didn’t expect, was to be the poor soul stood at the edge of the woods while the entire town beckoned her to step in. To walk the old path to the dark castle deep in the forest. But who were you kidding no cared for an unwanted orphan anyways
You held your head high and stepped onto the path. Faint footprints of the forests last victims still visible as you trudge through the cold. You don’t look back, you don’t cry, you just walk.
You keep your eyes ahead of you, bracing for whatever lies ahead of you. Eventually the footprints in the snow disappear. Maybe the last victim didn’t make it this far, or maybe the snow covered them. You opt to believe the second option in naive optimism.
The first gets thicker as you move further into the forest until you make it to the one place you never imagined you’d ever be. The castle.
In that instance you hear rustling behind you. As you turn around, the last thing you see is the movement of black fabric against the wind before the whole world goes dark.
࿎
It’s been 331 years and 90 days since you were taken away from him but who’s counting.
Jake is. Does he know what year it is? No. Does he know what month it is? No. Does he know what the date is? No. All he knows is it’s been
331 years and 90 days since you were taken from him.
331 years and 90 days since he’s vengefully killed every human who put you to death.
331 years and 90 days since he has felt any emotion other than hatred and anger.
You see to him, loving you was the easiest thing he’s ever done.
Having you by his side was more important to him than drinking human blood, than hearing the screams of fear and pain as he drained his victims, than having people cower at the mention of his name.
But you were gone…
And now here he is, banished to these woods where he can only feed on the few foolish humans who attempt to prove he doesn’t exist.
Very few animals live here anymore, he killed them all.
He lounges around the castle until the scent of his next meal hits his nostrils, he rushes to claim his next victim before returning the castle and waits around for the next one.
This has continued for years, probably centuries at this point, but again… who’s counting?
Here he is today, he could sense the presence of a large group of people outside the forest, maybe this time he’ll have a feast on his hands. He smirks at the thought. He decides to take his time with this one. Why not play with his food a little?
Well that was the plan, until he smelled something. A scent he hasn’t smelled in 331 years and 90 days.
it can’t be…
Before he knew it he was standing behind a young girl in a white cloak as she trudged along the path shivering in the cold with nothing but a lantern to light her way.
“Y/N” he whispers to himself
He continued to follow you silently as you continued on your way towards his castle. Your scent was intoxicating. It has taken every last bit of self control for him to not bring you into his arms and turn you for eternity as he should have over 300 years ago. But he resisted as he knew, you aren’t the same person he once loved.
As you reached the bottom of the palace steps, he stepped out of the shadows. He noticed your body trembling as your features have become pale due to the cold of the winter. In a blue of panic and impulse he rushed to you. The next thing he knew, your body had fallen limp in his arms.
He just sat there. On the steps of his castle with your body limp and cold in his arms. The image reminiscent of that day he lost you for what felt like an eternity.
He rushed inside the castle with you in his arms. He laid you gently on the bed in the bedroom he kept as his own (despite the fact that he doesn’t sleep). With panicked eyes and shaky hands he tended to you. Wrapped you warmly in the blankets and even lit a fire in the fireplace while surrounding the bed with candles to keep you warms.
Once he felt he had done enough, he sat on the floor next to the bed and help your hand in his as he stared at you. He wanted nothing more than to take you into his arms and hold you once again, but he knows that wouldn’t be fair to you, so he’ll wait. He’s waited an eternity to see you again, what’s a couple more hours until you wake up?
࿎
Hell. That’s where you’ve deemed you are. In the deep pits of hell. Your body sweating, your head throbbing. The first thing you see when you open your eyes is red. Red walls, red furniture, red blankets.
Where in the 50 shades am I…
You use your hands to help yourself sit up, or… you tried to. As you look to your left hand you see it’s being held… by another hand. When you trace the hand to its owner your met with the pale face and dark eyes of a man you’ve never seen before.
“Oh my god!” You immediately jump back
“No no! I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to startle you…” he immediately stands up trying to reach out to you
“Don’t touch me!” You continue to back away from him until you reach the other end of the bed. You immediately stand up on wobbly legs
“Please sit back down. I’ll explain everything! your body is still recovering form the cold…” he says in a panicked manner.
You look into his eyes as you try to read him but you can’t. Yet for some reason, your mind is giving you no reason to not trust him and your heart… your heart is urging you to move closer to him.
You only partially listen to your heart as you sit back down on the edge of the bed.
“Who… who are you?” You ask
He sits next to you, leaving a reasonable amount of space before he answers.
“My name is Sim Jaeyun… but you can call me Jake... and I’m the vampire who resides in this forest.” He softly explains
Your breath hitches “so the stories were true…”
“Mmm” he hums in response
“So you’ve killed all those people… all this time… and I’m next…?” You don’t look at him as a tears trickles down your face. You know the answer already but you still asked.
“Yes… I did kill all of those people… but no… I’m not going to kill you” He says as he slightly inches towards you and reaches up to wipe your tears.
You slightly flinch at the contact of his hand on your face before your body subconsciously relaxes into his touch.
“Hey… look at me” he cups your face with both of his hands guiding you to look at him “I won’t kill you. I would never kill you. I can’t lose you… not again…” his voice trails off at the end
“…again…?“ Your head snaps up as you try to search his eyes for an answer
“I’ll explain that in time but… you need some warmer clothes and some food” he points to a bathroom behind you “there’s clothes in there for you. I’ll be downstairs in the kitchen when you’re done” he smiles as he rises from the bed.
You almost want to pull his wrist back, missing to feeling of him being near you but you remind yourself this is a deadly vampire.
I’m the moment your stomach grumbles.
Well if he poisons me at least I’ll die with a full stomach
࿎
After changing into new warm clothes, you make your way to the kitchen. The smell guiding your nose to the spacious kitchen where you see Jake cooking… ramen?
“I didn’t know supernatural beings ate ramen? I thought you were bound to this forest?” You try to suppress a giggle
He whips his head around in surprise not hearing you approach despite his heightened senses.
“Oh! Uhhh… yes… well no… I’m not bound. I can leave the forest I’m just invisible to humans. They can’t see me… I can’t touch them” he scratches the back of his neck. You could’ve sworn that if he had blood running through his veins it would’ve rushed to his cheeks.
“It was the first thing I saw when I went to get food” he said sheepishly “if you don’t like it I can go get something else!” He rushes out.
You just laugh at this point. How are you supposed to believe this is the feared vampire that has terrorized your town for generations. This man who doesn’t look over 23 years old, who’s fumbling over making ramen for you… a monster…? There’s no way.
“W-what’s so funny” he says with a nervous smile
“There is no way in hell that you are the monstrous vampire everyone is afraid of… this has to be a prank” you turn around “okay guys! Jokes up! This was funny-”
You barely finish your sentence before your back comes in contact with the counter behind you. You wince slightly and when your eyes open again Jake’s face is hovering above your own adorning a devilish smirk.
“I wish I could prove you right darling…” he chuckles as you feel his breath fan your face “but unfortunately…” he lowers his head to whisper into your ear “I am the monster”
A shiver runs down your spine as you put your hands on his shoulder to support yourself as his head dips down to your neck.
“And I could kill you too…” your breath hitches as you finally feel the sharpness of his fangs graze your neck as his hand cradles your head to keep it in place “but I’ve waited too long to have you with me again”
He leaves a light kiss on your neck before lifting you up to sit on the counter with him in between your legs “so… you should get used to it my love…”
The next thing you know he’s off of you and back to tending to the ramen you had long forgotten about as you’re sat stunned on the counter.
“Now you should eat and get more of your strength back” he smiles at you as he sets a bowl down for you on the table.
You snap out of your daze and hop off of the counter to sit at the table and eat the ramen. You say nothing as your stomach takes over and you begin to eat. As you’re halfway through the bowl you notice he’s staring at you.
“What?” You say as you swallow the next bite.
He blinks out of his trance and clears his throat “oh… nothing”
You continue to eat as he glances at you. You know he’s trying to not stare at you but you decide to not ask about it quite yet and you focus on eating the delicious ramen in front of you.
࿎
After you’ve eaten Jake guided you back to the bedroom you were in earlier.
“You should sleep for now. You’re probably still recovering from the cold earlier” He goes back to the fireplace to tend to the fire to keep the room warm for you.
“How do you know my name…?” He freezes at your question
“W-well… you told me earlier… remember?” He says as he turns back to the fireplace
“No. I didn’t... also I’m not gonna be able to sleep if you don’t answer some of my questions so… why avoid it”
He sighs turning to you “fine… but please… just… ugh” he groans out “no questions until the end”
You nod. He gestures for you to sit on the bed and you do. He sits down with you taking a deep breath.
“I knew you a long time ago” he starts looking out the window. An unfamiliar light in his eyes.
“How long ago?”
Your eyes widen at his answer
࿎
Your heart raced in your chest as you ran through the forest. Your lungs burning. You had stayed out far too late and now it was dark. You had to make it home by morning so your only option was to go through the forest by yourself in the dark.
Not far into your journey, you hear the sound of footsteps behind you. Without looking back you ran with everything you had. Unfortunately the light of the moon shining above you was obstructed by the thick trees and you tripped on a branch you had not seen.
“Well well… look what he have here…” a man chuckled from behind you.
You turn around and begin to back away seeing two men begin to close in
“No please!” You try to beg
“Look at her… she’s so scared. I bet her blood’s delicious” his tongue poking out to lick over the prominent fangs as the two of them immediately rush at you picking you up and pinning you to a tree
“No…” you flinch bracing to feel the pain but the next thing you know, their hands are off of you…
You look up and see another man fighting both of them off.
“Stop hunting in my territory if you know what’s good for you” he seethes
“Next time you won’t be so lucky Sim” one of the two men spat out as they both turn and in the blink of an eye disappear into the forest
The man they called Sim turned to face you. “Are you alright…”
You flinch back as he tries to approach you “please… just let me be on my way”
He says nothing as he scoops you up into his arms “hold on tight m’lady”
You obey as you lock your arms around his neck. You feel a breeze as he rushes through the forest with you in his arms. It’s all so overwhelming so you bury your head in his neck and close your eyes
“We’ve arrived darling…” he gently lets you down. You open your eyes and immediately recognize the entrance to your town.
“How-? I-I… Thank you sir-” You turn to properly thank him but he had disappeared as quickly as he had appeared in the first place.
You searched for weeks for him until one day you stumbled across his hut in the woods.
He did everything in his power to get you to stay away but you were stubborn. You showed up at the same time every Tuesday and Saturday and just like that… his undead heart began to yearn for you.
He had fallen in love with you. He knew he would do everything to keep you by his side. He loved you passionately as if you’d disappear at any moment until one night… you did.
He searched endlessly for you until he found your scent parked with the smell of… smoke?
“They hung you… someone accused you of witchcraft and that was the end of it…” he breathed out
“The day they took you from me… I vowed to never protect a human the way I had protected you…” you could sense the anger in his voice as he continued.
“I-I didn’t know what to do… I was so angry so I just killed. I killed and killed and killed. All of them-” his words were interrupted by a sensation he never thought he’d ever feel again for the rest of his cursed eternal life
Your soft, warm lips on his
But before he could kiss you back you had pulled away.
“Jake…” you look into his eyes with tears in your own as you hold his face in your hands.
You places on of his hands over your own as he looked into your eyes and for the first time in 331 years and 90 days, a tear slid down his cheek.
“Y-you were- are my everything… and they just took you away from me… I didn’t know what to do” you continue to hold his face in your hands as you wipe is tears as they fall.
You maneuver him to lay down on the bed as you lay with him resting your head on his chest. His arms immediately circle your waist.
“I can’t lose you again” he says as he buries his head into your hair.
“You won’t have to… they all probably think I’m dead…” you say with a hint of sadness lacing your tone.
“What to you mean… they would want to know you’re alive” he runs a hand through your hair
You shake your head as tears of your own form in your eyes “I was sacrificed… to you” you look up at him
You see an immediate shift in his features to anger “how dare they… those filthy humans… they should know better that one sacrifice wouldn’t have been enough anyways, I’ll kill them all some day-”
“Hey hey…” you cut him off “maybe it’s for the best…”
“Y/N… how is this for the best… don’t get me wrong, I’ve yearned for the day I could have you here all to myself for all of time but… that’s not fair to you. What about your family… friends…” he caresses you cheek as worry laced his tone.
“I don’t… have any… I’ve been an orphan my whole life Jake… I’ve been… alone my whole life”
He sits in silence. The anger coursing through his veins only gets stronger hearing you recount how lonely your life has been but he decides to say nothing about it this time. Instead… he utters the words he’s never uttered before…
“Let me turn you… my love. Spend an eternity here… with me…” he says with a kiss to your forehead as he gently caresses your waist where his arm lays.
You look at him. You’ve known this man for a matter of hours, he’s given you no reason to trust you because granting you the ability to keep your life… so why… why do you believe every word that comes off of his tongue. Why do you want to say yes and spend the rest of your life by his side cursed with eternity as you live out your days with him in the castle. Why do you want to let him turn you into the monster everyone believes him to be…
Maybe because… he never was a monster to you. Because you knew deep down as you heard the tales, the whispers of his name on the street… that there’s more to Sim Jaeyun. You’d spent your entire life alone… Jake had spent 331 years and 90 days alone. Maybe, just maybe, he’d make you as happy as he did in your supposed past life.
Your heart speaks before your brain has the chance to…
“Please… let me spend the rest of eternity with you.”
He brings you into a passionate kiss. You can feel every emotion flowing from him. The love he holds for you, the yearning he has felt all this time, the pain he’s felt due to you not being here with him, and the desperation to have you as close as possible.
As he turns your bodies to lay you onto your back he breaks the kiss and looks deep into your eyes
“I’ve waited for this day, for centuries… but I cannot undo it once it’s done my love…” he says as he caresses your cheek once again “are you sure you want this?” He asks searching your eyes.
You nod with a soft smile “Yes Jake… I’m sure”
He smiles before giving you a soft peck.
The next sensation you feel is like fire across every part of your body. It burns but it doesn’t hurt. The venom of his fangs sinking deep into your skin as you link your fingers with Jake’s in one hand and grasp onto his hair with the other. The sensation like nothing you could describe. It was uncomfortable yet soothing. It coursed through your veins until you felt across every inch of your body, and then all the sudden… everything went cold.
As Jake detached from your neck, you could see with blurred vision the blood dripping from his fangs before he rolled over to the side and pulled your back to his chest. With one last kiss to the back of your head he whispered
“Sleep for now my love, when you wake… you will be hungry…”
With that you let your eyelids close knowing that when you woke… Jake would be right there beside you, where he would remain for all of eternity.
This was like 10x more suggestive than I wanted to be so sowwy

"I didn't think you were this Super" - Supergirl x Male Reader (Supergirl: The Movie Version)
Note: Fluff/Wholesome 🥰
"So, if you're his cousin, you can do everything he can, right? I know you can fly, bend steel bars and lift trucks and buses over your head since I've seen you do it, but can you do everything he can?"
Y/N wouldn't exactly call himself lucky in life, not with dangers and downsides in mostly every corner within everywhere he went, despite still being young and getting into the life of an young adult, it wasn't exactly easy much.
"Yes" the young woman soon answered with a little smirk at the edge of her lips.
"Wow... That's amazing!" Y/N soon replied after a whole few seconds of taking it all in. He still felt a little woozy after being swept up and flown to a safe distance. "But... Thank you, for saving me, least from what you told me" he had originally been unconscious, due to an altercation within a certain amusement park, while he was on a date with someone special.
Even when danger happened when he was around certain parts of the town, whether he was with his mother to help her, or some townsfolk with loading up trucks and anything they needed help with, he'd end up being protected by a blue and red blur, every time he even glanced at the foreign object.
At first glance, he thought it was the hero from Metropolis he had heard and seen many pictures on newspapers about, but something seemed different about the blur, but he let it get over his head and moved on, he thanked whoever was keeping him safe from dangers when he did the best he could to help.
However, he wasn't great at getting the girls, getting friends and wasn't great at education much either, he was what would be called, troubled in life, unsure of what he really wants in life.
It's what made him different, but usually the folk these days always seem to be moving on, while he thinks he's just stuck on where he is, despite getting help from his widowed mother.
But there was one thing Y/N was great at...
Helping others around him.
They say he has a heart of gold, a gentle persona within him, someone who likes to see others smile before he does and many wouldn't give him a thank you or appreciation in return, but when some ask him if he wants anything in return, he politely declines anything in return - even though his polite decline had fell on deaf ears and he was given something in return, even offers of being one's friend, he wasn't really used to be given anything in return for helping someone with their day.
Unbeknownst to him, someone had been watching his selfless actions on helping others, a blonde haired figure, clad in a blue leotard and red skirt, who dressed in a red cape and boots, who wore a symbol on their outfit and cape, equivalent to the one a certain superhero in Metropolis wore proudly.
This very same person had been the blue and red blur keeping the townsfolk and himself safe, most reported it was a female, confirming Y/N's suspicions that the blur was different, however... No one really knew who she was, they said she wore the same symbol as the hero in Metropolis does but so far? He wasn't sure... He thought himself lucky to be saved by this heroine from time to time but it wasn't much really. She was also confirmed to be a blonde haired woman, confirming Y/N's suspicions further when being saved by the same woman again not too long ago.
But for the first time in his life... He almost counted himself lucky when meeting this one brunette haired girl after helping her with her dropped belongings...
Her name was Linda Lee, an orphan who was in fact the cousin of Clark Kent, who works at the Daily Planet stationed in Metropolis, it was a surprising fact that Linda was the cousin of a well-known journalist.
It weren't long until he and Linda crossed paths again, which was shortly after meeting, just randomly at a Popeyes in Midvale with her friend, Lucy Lane, soon getting along with each other and was even offered to come hang out with the two or just the one from now on, depending on what day it was, since he looked like he needed a friend or two.
At first he declined but he couldn't keep himself from looking at Linda every now and then, she was this... Smart and bright girl who seemed to look in the good of everyone, he wanted to know more about her, so he decided maybe it was for the best to accept being friends with Lucy and Linda, since her mother knew his mom which was a surprise.
The more he hanged out with those two, the more he became so engrossed about Linda, who was she? Where did she come from? She always had strange answers whenever Y/N asked where she came from, she'd always say "Earth" or "Argo" for that matter, even spurting out a "Kara" when introducing herself to Y/N's mother when they met.
It was... Quite odd, but that's what made him so fascinated about her, as much as she was interested in him even.
But when it came to dangers? Crime or anything involving that, Linda would mysteriously disappear and the reported heroine would appear, and while that happened, Y/N would try his best to keep any civilians at a safe distance as possible.
A weird occurrence happened with a construction vehicle once began to spiral out of control, like it was being possessed by something, and rampaged throughout Midvale with no one on the controls to even stop it.
Y/N had sprung himself into action, despite being told countless times to stop by onlookers and Lucy herself, eventually having climbed inside the vehicle to try and steer the vehicle away from civilians and trying to stop it, albeit to no success, or at least he thought it was a success after a few seconds went by when it finally stopped, before looking out to see that it wasn't stopped by his hand, but by another.
It was the same heroine that was reported to be keeping Midvale safe from harm whoever and whatever was causing harm, the heroine had forced the vehicle to a stop with her immense strength, leaving only a dent within the vehicle's hull.
Y/N had began to step out the vehicle upon the female's command, only to trip up and fall, but caught by the superheroine, which would normally make someone embarrassed if it had happened to someone else, but to him? He didn't feel embarrassed.
He felt entranced by her, her beautiful golden locks and that it blew in the wind much like her red cape, her perfect looking face, her perfect blue eyes, her lips that curved into a smile.
"Are you alright, Y/N?" she asked him after catching him, despite being looked at by the public of Midvale, her only concern was his safety.
"I... Y-Yes, I'm okay" he was stunned by her figure but there was something bothering him. "How do you know my name?".
The heroine smiled back at him before walking away from the excavator, still carrying him like a bride. "I just know" she said while putting him back onto his feet.
Call it a strange circumstance, the heroine looked awfully familiar to Linda Lee, the tone of voice, the look, the smile, it entranced him.
He asked the question on who was she, she answered with a name.
"Supergirl".
She flew off afterwards before giving Y/N one last smile and telling him to be safe, with many deeming her a wonderful marvel to see, the town's hero most had put, some thought of her as Superman's sister.
Linda would soon return after disappearing randomly during that time, with Lucy telling her she just missed the heroine swoop in to save the day, even teasing Y/N about being carried like a bride by her, which made his face flash a little red from the teasing.
It was a very strange circumstance how she returned after 'Supergirl' had left by flying on out, Linda returns, and even more so whenever danger had popped up nearby or somewhere else, she'd disappear and reappear later once it had been resolved.
It began happening more often than not as the weeks went by, though mostly Y/N had gone off to keep people safe and away from these certain dangers, just like his father would do if he were still around, Supergirl would try to resolve the situation to keep the dangers from getting to civilians.
There would be certain times when Y/N would be gifted flowers, which had his mom prompt into telling him he had a secret admirer and if only his father could see him now, of how much the man he is becoming, just like his father.
"Maybe I do have a secret admirer, but who?" he questioned, especially in the messages he had received, his actions were being praised, his heart of gold was being noticed. "And why?".
"That is not up for debate, son. Before me and your father met, he was a wealthy man that indulged in helping others before him, he raised many fundraisers to help the sick and homeless, helped many townsfolk the best he could. Why do you think the Hospital down in New York was named after him?" his mother sat down with him. "Midvale was built because of his family, he and his family showed kindness while others would not bat an eye to the problems that were before".
"But I'm not interesting, mom" Y/N responded with a downed-tone. "I mean... Does anyone really appreciate my actions? Do they only say they do because I'm around? Afraid they'd hurt me?"
"Oh believe me, son... You are. And people are appreciating you. Jeffrey the other day dropped by to say thank you to us, to you. They were short-staffed that day and then came you, who helped load up their truck full of boxes, I heard the stuff they were loading was pretty heavy".
"It was" Y/N nodded before sighing. "What's this got to do with the fact that I have a secret admirer to begin with?" he then asked.
"Because you helped someone, I don't know who, but judging from the flowers and little cute notes? Someone definitely sees you as their favorite for helping them, and I feel like it could be someone you know" she made an obvious remark. "Could be Linda Lee, I sure know it wouldn't be Lucy, she's got her eyes on someone else".
"Y-You really think it would be Linda? Yeah, sure she's super and I like her, but... I don't know".
"If you like her, ask her out!" his mom encouraged him with a little shake on his shoulder. "I know you've liked her for some time, she is pretty adorable".
"Oh, great heavens" Y/N sighed to himself quietly, feeling his face heat up from embarrassment. "I'm just... I'm afraid she'd say no if I ask her out. She's just so... Perfect and I'm not".
"I'm inclined to disagree, son. You are perfect in your own way, just like Linda is perfect in her own right. Think over it, and don't be too late, because someone will take her from you".
He did carefully think about it, meeting Linda a few more times before eventually having built-up the courage to ask out Linda on a date, though leaving her confused at first, she began to understand what a "date" was, accepting Y/N's offer to go out on a date with him which felt surreal, Lucy was happy for the both, especially for Linda since it was gonna be Linda's first date as much as she was a little confused by the sudden reaction.
Sure... Linda also liked Y/N back, but she never did it as "Linda".
Y/N or Lucy never knew this... But Linda was in fact Supergirl herself, the brown hair was nothing but a wig, to fool them so she wouldn't have anyone batting an eye to a regular person, Linda Lee was a persona to blend in after getting intrigued by humanity.
Supergirl had been giving him the flowers and little notes, she made sure he knew his selfless actions were being praised and recognized, she was a superheroine, keeping the townsfolk safe, but Y/N was the town's own hero, making sure he was being recognized as one and not ignored like he had been since she began protecting Midvale.
It was supposed to be a simple and fun date, with them meeting at an amusement park however, Y/N had brought Linda flowers and even chocolates to show how much he cares about her.
But it was soon ruined by unsuspected danger from one of Superman's villains, Toyman, who was causing a ruckus to draw out Midvale's own heroine by transforming the amusement park into a whole nightmare fest with his creations, it was a shock to even see one of his villains cause this much chaos to begin with, all because he wanted throw hands with the ever so deemed "Girl of Steel" that had gotten across the newspapers everywhere in the United States.
Before the chaos erupted, Y/N offered to get her an ice cream, she stayed near one of the benches not far from where the ice cream was being sold to customers. And with that knowledge of leaving Linda on her own? Y/N had to search for her, despite his life being in danger from the threat of the villain that attacked the amusement grounds, a very familiar location to what Supergirl had been around within her last encounter with another villain.
Supergirl soon arrived however, to put a stop to the chaos that Toyman had created, seeing Y/N in danger and unconscious which only made the situation more tense that it should've been
But thankfully... Supergirl soon apprehended Toyman, soon destroying his machinations and saving the amusement park from being overrun by Toyman's creations before the authorities showed up, but her concerns for Y/N soon caught up to her, knowing he was caught in the crossfire.
She scooped him up into her arms and flown out of the amusement park, flying overhead as Y/N began to regain consciousness, soon opening his eyes to see a familiar sight, but blonde hair instead of brunette hair.
His awakening had her fly down toward ground, near the shoreline next to a forest, where she was questioned on what happened, since he couldn't really remember, he was soon caught up with what happened and now finds himself in the presence of his hero once again, having already asked if she can do what her cousin can do.
"I should get going, I have to go back, those people at the amusement park might need me still. Stay here, I will come back for you" she began to walk off, presumably to leap into the air to fly, until Y/N spoke again.
"Amusement park? Linda..." the name escaped his lips.
Supergirl turned around to face the young man, with a little shock on her expression.
"I... I left her there, we were on a date, she might be in trouble!".
The heroine let out a small smile in that response. "I'm sure she can take care of herself" she nodded.
"No, I have to go help her, she's probably looking for me still! I love her and I already screwed up by abandoning her" Y/N cursed at himself.
"Hey, hey" Supergirl approached the young man with a soft demeanor, still pretending she isn't standing in front of her date right at this minute. "You haven't screwed up, Linda is safe".
"But how do you know if she's safe?" Y/N argued back. "How do you know if I haven't screwed up? How can I have a heart of gold if I can't protect my own date? What if she's-".
"Do not worry, Y/N" she gently caresses' his hand, using a gentle notion to keep him calm. "I promise that Linda is not in trouble" she tried to calm him down further, trying to convince him otherwise that Linda was okay, knowing very well she can't keep up this game to convince him.
"I promised I'd protect her if anything were to happen to her, shield her even, even if she doesn't know that she doesn't deserve me, she deserves someone else probably".
"Then why did you ask her out?" Supergirl asked him, despite feeling something in her heart weigh down upon hearing him talk about himself like that.
"Because I like her, I... Love her?" he questioned, failing to see Supergirl's teething smile for a brief moment. "I do love her, yes... But I don't deserve her, she's perfect all around, and despite what my mom says, I'm not perfect, I never will be".
"Trust me as I say this. You do deserve her" Supergirl... Kara, soon found herself looking at his lips, the feeling of wanting to tell him, to show him, Linda was in fact alright and standing in front of him as he spoke. "To her, you're this heart of gold, someone who sees the better in many people, who helps others before himself, like those people in Midvale that load up those trucks, like the elderly woman that needs help crossing the street, or helping those people with those shopping bags. She sees the young man you really are, a sweet and gentle man who wants nothing more to help others that need it... Like a hero. That's what she thinks of you" she smiled, opting to comfort him further.
No... She was the hero, not him, he wouldn't allow it. He sighed in response to her words, even though sweet and caring... Just like...
Linda's words... Making him realize something about... The golden heroine of Midvale.
"Wait, how do you know that? How do you know what she thinks of me?" he then asked out of the blue.
This gave her the opportunity to show him how she knows, she knew it was only a matter of time before the cracks begin to show, she smiled to herself for a moment, using her super hearing to assess the amusement park, with the Fire Department having getting to work on freeing trapped civilians successfully.
"Because I... I know" she smiled, drawing her face closer to his.
Y/N soon took notice of this gesture from her, soon thinking back on something he thought about upon his first meeting with Supergirl and all the other times the two have glanced at one another.
His eyes soon begin to widen as he puts the pieces together in the short amount of time before he feels a pair of lips on his... Supergirl's lips...
Linda's lips.
Supergirl soon pulled back, giving him a small kiss on his lips to further seal the deal, her eyes open to meet his ones opening softly, a surprised smile soon creeping up on his lips.
"L-Linda" he only said with a shortness of breath. "You're... Her".
"Yes" Kara soon nodded with a gentle smile. "I am".
"Blonde hair really does suit you" he complimented, making her brightly smile" You... You really meant what you said there, didn't you?" he then asked her.
"Every last word" Feeling herself draw in again to capture his lips in hers, a soft smack soon playing after connecting lips for a second time with their eyes closing.
She felt his touch around her hips, holding her close to his body, not wanting to let go of his hero, who was in fact Linda this whole time.
Kara soon placed her arms around him gently, with their lips continuing to dance slowly with the water splashing against the shoreline gently.
"Linda" Y/N mumbled into Kara's lips, smiling through his second ever kiss, and even though it is, he was surely a good one judging from the way Supergirl was enjoying it. "I knew you were super, but I Didn't Think You Were This Super" he mumbled into her lips once more.
The latter pulled back and smiled at him, whilst opening her eyes to look at him again. "You mustn't tell anyone about this" she said with a serious tone.
"Does Lucy know?".
"No, but she will, in time" Supergirl answered, puckering her lips.
A moment of silence went by between them as they looked into each other's eyes, as Y/N pushed a strand of blonde hair that covered the S on her suit behind the heroine's ear, feeling how soft her real hair was, how gentle her cape felt when it brushed over his hand, the suit hugged her body warmly, at least from what he felt.
The only sounds heard were the gentle crashes of the water hitting the shoreline, birds chirping in the trees, the sun shining down onto the water ahead of them in their respective left and right.
Just a young couple, who's date went wrong, now spending it at this peaceful part of Midvale, safe and no person in sight... Just them.
"I know this might be a hard ask, but... Can you take me flying?" he innocently asks Supergirl, breaking the silence of the gentle waves and wind. "If you don't mind, I kinda want to know what it looks like really".
A teething smile appeared on the young caped woman's face. "Of course! I'd be happy to show you, hold my hand and I'll show you" she offered her hand and he took it.
"How are you going to hold me up?".
"With my strength, and hold on tight" she smiled with a wink, lifting him up with her into the air...
______________________________________________________________
Night had fallen upon the sky, the Moon illuminated the sky above as the water crashed upon the shoreline of the beach far ahead.
The wind blew gently through the hair of Supergirl, with her cape being picked up slightly as it was wrapped around by something... Someone.
She felt a little weight on her shoulder and someone hugging her arm tightly, feeling her warm embrace as she looked onto the ocean with the Moon reflecting off from it far ahead of her.
"So, your real name is Kara, right?" the silence that fell was broken by her date she continued to hang out with for the rest of the day. She turned her head slightly to look at the young man that placed his head on her shoulder, his face smudging against the gentle fabric on her shoulder.
"Yes, that's my birthname" she answered with a gentle tone. "Kara Zor-El, you can call me that when it's just us two" she proceeded to reveal furthermore about herself to him, she trusted him this much after all.
"That's a beautiful name" he whispered to her neatly, his hand tugging tightly at the cape wrapped around him and herself, watching the calm ocean together with her alone.
"You think so?".
"Yeah, I sure do" he looked at her before smiling, pushing himself up to peck her lips. "I'm glad you wanted to continue today's date after it went wrong at the park" he said showing gratitude to her efforts. "The flying was amazing especially".
"I'm glad to hear that" she smiled back at him. "I'd be happy to continue this".
"Continue us?" Y/N asked, seeing her lightly nod before his smile brightened. "I'd be happy too" he replied.
Kara briefly kissed his forehead before letting Y/N rest his head on her shoulder once again, not before yawning gently. "You tired?".
"Mhm" he mumbled. "I think I'd *yawn* like to sleep here with you, if you don't mind, it was a long day after all" he continued, beginning to close his eyes.
"I can take you back to your home while you sleep, if that's okay with you, I know we'll see each other tomorrow" she offered, making him open his eyes again to look at her.
"What about my mom? That means you'll-".
"I'll tell her" she interrupted politely with a gentle look on her face.
"Just prepare for her reaction, I'm sure she'll freak out that I'm dating a superhero now" he replied.
"Noted" she smirked, beginning to scoop him up with her cape unwrapping around him as she picks him up with complete ease.
"Gives me goosebumps that" he noted while resting his head on her, making Kara smile. "Thank you, I love you" he said before snoring off as Kara begins levitating up.
"I love you too, Y/N" she said back before taking flight...

The Time Blades Sang Karaoke With Optimus Prime
"Oh oh oh, and have I ever told you about the time Optimus and I sang karaoke?" Why no Blades. You did not. Allow me to tell everyone for you. So- That's all this one-shot is! More fun with Blades, Ratchet, and Orion!
"C'mon Ratch! Sing with me!" Blades tugged on Ratchet's arm. The ATV had picked up a whining tone that had quickly started to get on Ratchet's nerves. "No. I'm not singing." "But it would be funnnnn," Blades hung off his roommate's arm. Ratchet pried Blades's servo off and let the smaller bot fall to the floor. "Go find someone else to pester," Ratchet stepped over Blades's frame. "But Jazz is busy DJ-ing and nobody else wants to sing with me!" Blades whined as he pulled himself off the floor. The bot looked miserable. "Pleeeease?" Blades widened his optics and gave a small pout, trying to look cute. Cute had never worked on Ratchet before and neither were under the impression it would start now. Ratchet sidestepped his rather pathetic looking roommate and swiped a cube of high-grade before returning to the party. Blades sighed and slumped to the floor once again. Ratchet was usually more open to partying with Blades, but the taller medic wasn't up to Blades's type of fun. Probably off talking to- Blades shot up from the ground. "ORION PAX!" Blades popped his wheels out of his pedes and darted into the party. He found the blue and red archivist downing a cube of high-grade, as expected. Most everything Blades knew about the mech, outside of these parties, was through Ratchet. That is to say, Blades didn't know Orion very well at all. Good thing you didn't need to know someone to drag them into karaoke. Blades grabbed Orion by the arm and dragged him up to Jazz, who was in charge of all the music. (It did not occur to Blades that Orion so easily followed because Blades, much like Ratchet, was white and orange. And Orion was overcharged as per usual.) "Jazz! Orion and I would like to sing-" "Shut Up and Dance!" Orion had a wide grin on his face. "Got it! The mics are all yours!" Whatever high energy song Jazz had been playing transitioned into a familiar beat that had Blades more than excited. Surprisingly, it was Orion's voice that started tham off. The archivist was tapping his pede to the beat, his optics bright from overcharge. "Don't you dare look back, just keep your eyes on me. I said you're holding back she said shut up and dance with me," Blades watched Orion at the mic, not yet having joined him. The ATV let out a shaky vent and adjusted his hold on the mic. "This woman is my destiny she said-" "Oo ooo~ Shut up and dance with me!" Blades joined in, singing the lyrics with all his spark. "We were victims of the night, the chemical, physical kryponite! Helpless to the bass and the fading light, oh~ we were bound to get together! Bound to get together!" Singing together was so fun! Ratchet didn’t join Blades enough. He really ought to remedy that.
--
Ratchet watched as his closest friends danced and sang together. The song was catchy, a pop tune he was sure he had heard before. It was also likely Orion's choice, as the mech was the one to start singing first. The medic took a small sip of his cube. Hopefully, this would prevent Blades from asking karaoke from him too often. Ratchet had no place in the center of attention. And neither did Blades, outside of these parties.
--
Blades needed to get Ratchet on this stage next. This was so much more fun than usual! Orion had wound the mic cord around his leg, somehow managing not to trip over it. Blades twirled his cord like a ribbon. It was as elegant as it was an uncoordinated, overcharged dance.
--
Back in the audience, a young enforcer was snickering into his cube. Streetwise loved these shindigs. Good high-grade, good entertainment, and if the way Orion was already struggling with his mic cord was anything to go by, something funny too.
--
Blades hadn't actually considered how dangerous the mic cords were. He still twirled his like it was an extension of himself. He should consider adding a winch to his frame. But the winch could wait for another time. He'd say a time after karaoke but- It was like slow motion, the cord just a bit tighter, Orion, who made the wrong step, and then- CRASH! Orion was sprawled out on the floor, still rather happy, but a bit bruised up. Blades let out a squeak and hurried to help up his fallen friend. Both of them were laughing, as were most others who bore witness to Orion's blunder. Ratchet was absolutely cackling, he had likely seen this coming.
--
"Ratch? You up for karaoke?" Blades asked, though there wasn't any party this time. There was a mischievous twinkle in his optics Ratchet set his datapads down with a soft thunk. There was no way that Blades would be getting Ratchet to join him any time soon. "You can return these." The taller medic left the room without another word. "Wait! Ratchet!! I'm sorry!" Blades scrambled after his roommate. Ratchet laughed to himself as Blades chased after him. With luck, Blades adopted Orion as his new karaoke partner.
#one shot#transformers#transformers prime#rescue bots#rescue bots blades#ratchet#orion pax#i love how any time we see orion#its through the blades's optics#and because blades only saw him at parties#his views of the archivist are extremely skewed#its hilarious#oh almost forgot#blades+hisroommate#< an official tag for this series!#gotta go add it to the others as well

English is not a language I handle perfectly, I apologize in advance if there are any grammatical or spelling mistakes, you are free to correct me.
Giyuu has been given a few days off from his missions, and what better way to enjoy them together with his beloved wife. The pillar of Water thanked Mr. Ubuyashiki deeply when he gave him the news. Now, under the first rays of the sun, he heads to the farm with an unusual calm and a barely perceptible smile.
Mornings were usually too short for him; he used to get up first while his wife curled up on the empty side of the futon. He would go to the washroom to wash up and then return to the bedroom to leave a gentle kiss on her forehead before leaving. But now, he feels blissful: he can stay cuddling her for hours, watching her calm breathing and how peace is drawn on her face as she sleeps.
He smiles and gently plays with a few strands of her hair that fall softly over her face. He settles closer to her, closes his blue eyes and allows himself the luxury of lingering a few more minutes, resting in her warmth. When he opens his eyes again, he finds her awake, looking up at him with a wide, sweet smile. That smile, so bright and sincere, makes Giyuu's heart beat fast. Without thinking, he raises a hand and rests his palm on her cheek, caressing it tenderly.
—You are beautiful.
The young woman's cheeks are tinged a soft shade of pink as she covers herself with the blankets of the futon, shyly peeking out her face and returning a warm, sweet smile. The black-haired man remains at her side, playing with a few strands of hair; the sparkle in his blue eyes reflect the immense love he feels for her. He can't help but lean over and place a soft kiss on her forehead before whispering.
—Would you like to go out today? I want us to spend the day together, carefree.
The proposal takes his wife by surprise, but her smile only widens.
—Where will we go? —she asks, letting out a small sigh of happiness.
—Wherever you want. But I thought we could walk around town. Maybe have a bite to eat at that restaurant you told me about.
She nods excitedly, and they both get up to prepare for the day. As they walk together down the quiet street of the village. Giyuu keeps his hand entwined with hers, something he doesn't do often, but on these off days it seems as natural to him as breathing.
The sun was at its highest point when they arrived at the restaurant. It was a cozy place, with wooden tables and a delicious aroma that enveloped them as soon as they crossed the noren curtain. They settled at a table by the window, enjoying the view of passersby and the fresh air coming in through the small opening.
As they waited for the food Giyuu ordered for both of them, laughter and familiar voices brought them out of their bubble of quiet and intimacy. Tomioka looks up just in time to see Mitsuri and Obanai entering the restaurant, followed by Sanemi, Tengen and Kyojuro.
—Tomioka! —Mitsuri exclaimed, waving a hand excitedly at the sight of him.
She blushed slightly under the curious gaze of the other pillars, but Giyuu didn't pull his hand away from hers. Instead, he gave her a calm, comforting look before nodding towards the others.
—She is my wife —he said with his characteristic serious tone, but his words carried an obvious pride.
Mitsuri let out a gasp of excitement, running over to the table and taking the young woman's hands in his.
—You're so cute! Why didn't you introduce us before?
—Because it was none of your business —Giyuu replied, but his comment was drowned out by Tengen's laughter.
—Wow, Tomioka, you really had it in for him! I thought you were the dullest of us, but it turned out you were hiding a beauty.
Kyojuro nodded with his characteristic energy.
—It's a pleasure to meet you! Giyuu never told us about you, but now I understand why. He must be completely enthralled!
The rest of the pillars end up settling around their table, asking questions and sharing stories amidst laughter and jokes. Although Giyuu seemed a little overwhelmed at first, he didn't let go of his wife's hand or stop looking at her tenderly as she joined in the conversation.
By the time lunch arrived, even Sanemi had softened her attitude, making an effort not to intimidate her with her gruff character. By the end of the day, she felt like part of their quirky little family, and Giyuu couldn't have been more grateful to have had the opportunity to introduce her to the other pillars in such a warm atmosphere.
When they finally said their goodbyes and returned home, she gently squeezed Giyuu's hand as they walked.
—They are very nice. Now I understand why you appreciate them so much.
Giyuu glanced sideways at her, allowing himself a small smile.
—They like you too now. But, to me, you will always be the most important thing.
The words made her pause for a moment, looking at him with surprise and love in her eyes.
—And you to me —she murmured, before rising on tiptoe to kiss him softly.
That afternoon closed with the promise of more days like this one: full of laughter, warmth and the certainty that their love was the center of their world.

a/n: written as a part of @dieterbravobrainrotclub 's secret santa event. happy holidays, alastor @crowandmousewritingco ♥ i hope you like it! this was my first time writing an "x reader" fic so i hope i did alright!
You’ve been dating Jack for a while now. You met each other at a gay bar in downtown Lexington about a year ago and got on like a house on fire, as Jack liked to put it. This was probably one of, if not the best relationship you’d ever been in.
Jack was always so supportive whenever your dysphoria would act up and do a really good job of distracting you. He’d either make you a meal – You’ll love this one, honeypie, it’s one of Mama Daniels’ specials! – cuddle you while you watched your favorite movies, or make you come so many times you wouldn’t even remember why you were upset in the first place.
You tried to return the favor when you could, but it always seemed like Jack was made of stone. He was so strong and brave, it was like nothing affected him.
That was, until he came down with the flu.
He was downright pathetic.
Jack would get loopy and delusional whenever he was sick, the fog stuffing up his sinuses overtaking all logic and reason. He also constantly sniffled when you told him the best way to get rid of things was to blow his nose. “B-but honeypie, it feels so gross,” he’d pout.
“Do you want to feel gross for longer?” You’d smile back, bringing him another box of tissues.
“...No.”
“Then blow your nose, ya big baby.”
That’s why you find yourself at the nearby grocery store picking up some cough syrup and even more tissue boxes. Your phone buzzes in your pocket with a text, and you roll your eyes as you open it, chuckling to yourself. What did he want now?
don’t forget ice cream please ? 😣
Lol ok, baby 😂
ily 🥹
You snorted to yourself and made your way to the ice cream aisle. You knew which flavor Jack would want – Southern Butter Pecan, of course – so it didn’t take you very long to get what you were looking for.
You were stopped in your tracks when you felt a slight tug on your sleeve. You flinched and turned to look at who’d done that, but stopped when you saw that it was an older woman. She looked to be in her sixties, so you steeled yourself for some sort of harsh comment. You got those from time to time, so you knew how to handle yourself well enough, but Jack was always better at diffusing problems than you were.
“Excuse me, young man?” The woman asked, a small smile on her face. “Do you think you could hand me one of those? My back won’t let me bend over like that these days.”
Blinking, you nodded jerkily before gingerly placing the tub of ice cream into her wrinkled hands.
“Thank you, honey. You have a good day now!”
“You, too,” you smiled softly, watching her walk away for a moment. You huffed a laugh in disbelief and quickly finished up your shopping.
You had to tell Jack what happened.
As soon as you walked through the threshold of your shared apartment, one of Jack’s sneezes permeated the air. You chuckled to yourself and set the groceries on the counter.
“Jack?” You called. “Do you want the ice cream now or later?”
A loud cough before, “Now, please!”
Grabbing a spoon, you smiled as you made your way down the hall and into your bedroom.
And there he was; your pathetic, grumbly, sniffly man. “Hey, handsome,” Jack smiled sleepily. Even like this, he couldn’t stop himself from flirting with you. It never failed to make your heart skip a beat.
“Hey,” you grinned, sitting on the edge of the bed. You placed the ice cream and the spoon into Jack’s clammy hands before leaning over to place a kiss on his warm forehead.
“You’re the best, honeypie. I’d kiss ya, but I don’t wanna get’cha sick,” he pouted.
“I appreciate that,” you chuckled. “You up for a movie?”
Jack moaned around a bite of ice cream, licking around the spoon in a way that really shouldn’t be affecting you, but it is. “Yeah, why not. Speakin’ of! Think I’m finally startin’ to look like that actor o’yours,” he smirked, showing off his newly grown-in facial hair around his jaw.
See, because Jack has been bedridden the past few days, he hasn’t had a chance to keep up on his strict grooming routine. The extra facial hair around his chin and jaw suits him super well, but he didn’t really look like Dieter Bravo, in your opinion. Jack was too put-together, even while sick, and Dieter had that raccoon aesthetic down to a T.
“Uh huh,” you snorted. “Sure, babe.”
Jack scoffed in mock offense, sniffled, then promptly coughed into his pillow. “Ugh,” he groaned pathetically. “Maybe no movie,” he pouted.
You smiled sympathetically before nodding in understanding. Dieter Bravo would have to wait. But you’ll be back.
“That’s okay, baby. Here. I got you some more tissues. I’ll put the ice cream away,” you said softly, tucking him into the bed after you took the ice cream from him.
“I love you, honeypie. I don’t deserve ya.”
“Oh, hush, you. Sure you do.” As you turned to leave, Jack stopped you, one of his larger hands engulfing yours. He rubbed your knuckles with his thumb tenderly and smiled up at you with glossy eyes.
“I mean it, handsome. I really appreciate ya takin’ care o’me like this. I know I can be a handful at times,” he bit his lip. You didn’t argue. He lifted your hand and kissed the back because Jack was nothing if not a southern gentleman, no matter what state he was in.
“Of course, Jack. I know you’d do the same for me,” you said easily. Jack nodded. It went without saying, but you heard it anyway. Without a doubt, honeypie.
You gave him one more kiss on the forehead before turning away. You stopped in the doorway when you remembered something. “Oh, guess what happened at the grocery store?” You grinned excitedly.
“What’s that, baby?”
“I helped an old lady get some ice cream. She called me ‘young man’.”
Jack’s face lit up. He’d been with you since the start of your transition so he knew how much that meant to you. “Baby! That’s amazin’!”
“Yeah,” you giggled. “Just had to tell you. I’ll go get those tissues, okay?”
Jack nodded, one of the most lovesick looks on his face. He loved you so much and you loved him in turn.
You’d take care of him when he was sick for as long as possible if it meant seeing that face more often.

Hey guys, how are you?
I decided that maybe it would be a good idea to share my fanfic here, so here is chapter one, you can see more on my profile, or on the wattpad links. I wish you all a good read!
Star — Chapter One
Did some bird beat its wings in Asia?
Did some force take you because I didn’t pray?
Everything that was to come turned to ashes
Because it’s all over, it wasn’t meant to be
So I’ll say words I don’t believe
— Bigger than the whole sky - Taylor Swift
"My house... it’s not here."
It was the first thought I had upon waking up alone in one of the guest rooms of Wayne Manor in the morning.
The impeccably aligned white sheets, the cream-toned, monotonous walls, and the pitcher with a glass of water on the table beside the bed only emphasized the thought.
"My house is not here."
I whispered to myself, closing my eyes, and my heart ached.
Home. That word feels so foreign on my lips. Home has many names for me: "家 Ie," "maison," "hogar," house... whatever the name, I feel like I never truly understood its meaning. Home was never a physical place for me. Home, "a place where you can create lifelong memories." Home, for me, was wherever my mother was performing her shows. Tokyo, Paris, Rio de Janeiro, Madrid. Wherever she was, I was too. She was my home. The only one I knew.
And now, I have no home at all.
Maybe that's the downside of making someone your home. Once you lose that person, no matter where you go, you become a stranger. Not that it’s a feeling I’m unfamiliar with. I’ve always felt like a stranger in my own skin.
The last time I felt at home, it was June 1st. I was on the balcony of our house in Whitechapel, London. A cup of Earl Grey tea rested beside me along with the candy jar, which was empty—cookie jars never lasted long, especially when they were within my reach—but the tea, almost spilling out of the cup, had gone cold. I had added milk to the tea, as recommended, but I didn’t like it.
— “Of course, there’s no backing out...” — I sighed after rereading for the thousandth time the email thanking me for participating but informing me I hadn’t been accepted into the selection process for joining another idol group.
In recent years, groups of young artists in the "idol" format had become astonishingly popular. A new revolution in art was unfolding before my eyes, with Asia leading the charge in innovation.
And more than anyone, I knew that if I didn’t keep up, I’d be left behind.
— “I took a year to study and train my performances, and I still couldn’t debut at the company I wanted... What’s the point of life, anyway?” — I sighed as my eyes wandered to the starry sky stretching above me.
— “You’ll do better next time,” — my mother said, placing a hand on my shoulder before turning her attention to a call from her producer.
I rested my head on my hands, watching the stars shining faintly in that dark sea of uncertainties.
When my mother ended the call, she excitedly told me she was going on a tour and that I could take a break from my classes to join her closely.
We traveled through Tokyo, Amsterdam, Paris, Sydney, New York... But nothing prepared me for Gotham.
"I love you." That faint whisper still echoed in my mind, staining my vision red.
"I love you." And then, a deafening silence, filled with anguish and despair.
"I love you." And now I’m here, in a place I don’t know, with people I’ve only heard about.
I sighed, trying to wash those thoughts away. I knew that at some point I’d have to leave that bed and interact with the other residents of the house, though I had no desire to.
I was about to roll over again in bed and bury my face in the pillow when my phone buzzed, alerting me to a notification. I dragged my hand across the white sheets to reach the phone, the screen lighting up as soon as the device recognized my fingerprint.
"Dear Alice Hoshi,
We inform you that you have been accepted in the Mystic group admission exam (2nd round). You will receive our integration guidelines and the agreement contract to join our company group.
Please complete the attached form to finalize the enrollment documentation. Once the documentation process is complete, your debut will take place on August 1st. You are required to attend our headquarters in Gotham to begin your training on September 1st.
Sincerely,
NextFuture Enterprises."
For a moment, the world went silent. All I could hear was the echo of my mother’s microphone hitting the floor and rolling to my feet.
That dry, metallic sound.
My eyes scanned those words again.
That was everything I had wanted to read for so long. A few days ago, I’d be jumping and screaming around the hotel room.
But now, I didn’t know how to feel.
What was I supposed to feel?
How was I supposed to act?
My eyes lingered on those words until the phone screen turned off. I remained still, staring at the device in silence.
The screen lit up again, and the phone began to vibrate and chime, overwhelmed by so many notifications.
I hadn’t been given an opportunity because the company believed I had talent. No, I knew what they had in mind. I was the novelty, the gossip that would make them profit.
Until the start of the tour, no one knew Kira Hoshi had a daughter.
No one knew; only she and my father kept that secret, and of course, my aunt. But beyond that, no one knew.
Until she decided to reveal it to her fans during the first show of the tour in London, causing an uproar among her fans by calling me on stage to open and close the show with her.
Over time, I could see their divided opinions. Most felt betrayed by my mother, dissatisfied. They hated the idea of her having a life they didn’t know about. Idols didn’t have children. They were angelic beings created solely to bless mere mortals with their art and talent. Idols didn’t have relationships; they existed only to illuminate and shine on those without the same light.
That was one of the first lessons my mother taught me when I said I wanted to be an idol like her.
Before it was revealed that I was her daughter, no one even noticed me, but now, it seemed all the spotlights were pointed in my direction. I skimmed through countless offers filling my inbox with disinterest and then dropped the phone on the bed, standing up.
I looked at my reflection in the mirror, wearing the black dress someone had left at my door in a black box with a matching black satin bow, and applied makeup to hide the dark circles from a sleepless night.
I didn’t need anyone to tell me; I knew my father was waiting for me somewhere in the mansion to accompany me to the funeral, which he had personally arranged.
It was a kind gesture, considering he’d been absent for most of my life—not that I cared; I barely knew him.
Bruce Wayne was barely a name in my family.
— “All set?” — he asked softly as I descended the stairs, and I nodded silently in response.
“I’d like to introduce you to someone,” he said, and a boy with dark skin, green eyes, and hair as dark as Bruce’s appeared in the mansion’s entry hall, dressed in a fine, dark suit.
“This is my other son. Your younger brother, Damian.”
As for me, I almost blended into the white walls of the house. I was albino, a condition that had always bothered me. It wasn’t easy to go unnoticed; heads almost snapped when I walked through hallways. But my mother loved it.
"Kimi no kami ni wa hoshi no kagayaki ga aru (You have the brightness of stars in your hair)," she used to say.
— “Pleasure to meet you,” the boy who was almost a replica of Bruce approached, looking at me intently.
— “My condolences,” he added.
I studied him for a moment, trying to ignore the fact that my father had chosen to be part of one child’s life over another.
— “Likewise,” I murmured, looking away.
— “Thank you.”
— “There are more people I’d like you to meet,” my father said.
“Another time. The car is ready. Shall we?”
Again, I nodded silently and followed them into the car. The fifteen-minute drive to the mausoleum where my mother would rest was entirely silent.
When I stepped out of the car with my father and Damian, reporters surged toward us like vultures with insensitive questions.
The flashes blocked my vision; this was nothing more than a spectacle for the media. They would profit from my pain.
I didn’t answer the questions, didn’t look at the cameras; I just walked between my father and Damian to the front-row chairs as the priest began the sermon. My mother never considered herself Catholic; she wasn’t even a religious person, yet the people around seemed moved.
They tried to persuade me to say a few words about how she had been a good mother, but I didn’t want to.
Words weren’t necessary.
I had said everything I wanted to her while she was alive. We were never ones to leave what mattered for later.
At the end of the sermon, my father accompanied me to the casket so I could say goodbye. He left a bouquet of white roses on her eternal resting place, frowning as I removed them, replacing them with red tulips.
— “She always hated roses,” I said simply, looking at her eternally peaceful face. She looked more radiant than ever.
"The stars shine their brightest in their final moments, more than at any other time in their long existence," she once told me.
“You’re right,” I almost whispered but didn’t. I stayed silent, just watching her. I don’t know how long I stood there, but eventually, I left, leaving my father and Damian behind, waiting in the car with the butler until everything was over.
The butler, whom I learned was named Alfred, kindly drove around in silence and returned to the burial site when everyone was gone, giving me a few minutes alone with my mother.
— “NextFuture Enterprises accepted my application,” I said, looking at her pale, serene face. “I wish you were here to see it; you would have been happy.”
Warm tears slid gently down my cheeks, but I quickly wiped them away. I leaned softly over her body and kissed her forehead, feeling my heart tighten.
"I love you..." The voice echoed in my mind.
— “I love you too,” I whispered, stumbling over my own feet as I stepped back.
— “I’m sorry I don’t have any words for you now; I spent all I had on you while you were alive.”
Finally, they closed the casket and carried it into the mausoleum. I watched the wooden door shut, and then it began to rain.
I stood there until I felt the rain stop falling on me. It hadn’t stopped raining; it was just my father holding a black umbrella to shield me.
— “Let’s go home,” he said, gently guiding me to the car with his hand on my back.
Before entering the vehicle again, I glanced at that mausoleum one last time, with the certainty in my heart that Gotham City would never be my home.

First of all, I would love some asks, any asks, even the freaky ones. How dare you. Just send them over here and I'll roast, befriend, or ignore as necessary.
Second of all, uh-oh. You asked for it. I don't just have one favorite game, y'see. Having said that, I actually haven't played a wide range of them, for cost reasons, time reasons, and brain reasons - I tend to latch onto a game and play the shit out of it before moving on.
I guess you could say any game that I like enough to actually buy or download is my favorite game. I don't really waste time with games I don't click with. Occasionally it's pretty obvious why I like a game (I bought Xenoverse 1 and 2 because watching DBZ Abridged relit a nostalgia pilot light in me that hadn't been touched in literal decades and boy howdy, did it ever fuckin' BURN after that). But most of the time, why I like a game is just as much a mystery to me as it is to you. Although I have noticed that a lot of my favorites have female leads, or give you the option to make one.
I already did a series of posts on the Pocky and Rocky SNES games, but in short I like them because they were unique (at the time and place where I lived, anyway) - charming graphics, lovely music, and yes - a protagonist who was a girl. A shrine maiden, to be exact. No love interest, just fun adventures with a bunch of monsters. And that meant a lot to a young girl who didn't have a whole lot of video game lady heroines to choose from.
Never in a million years dreamed they'd remake the first one, but they did, and it made me so happy!
Threads of Fate/Dewprism on the PS1 is another favorite. Outstanding soundtrack; I can still listen to Rasdan on a loop without getting sick of it. The game itself has the same low-polygon look as most PS1 games do, but please look up the artwork because it's awesome - or at least, I love the style.
I love the main characters: Rue (dude on the left) is a bit of a sap but not too much, and while I do like his story arc, it does get kind of overshadowed by Mint's. Mint is just badass. She's an absolute brat who - with a straight face - says she's going to take over the world, and at no point does she apologize or feel silly about it, and it's GREAT. Plus she can shoot magic and kick the shit out of people, so she can actually kind of back up her tough talk.
The supporting characters are fun, too. There just isn't enough love in the world for Belle and Duke ("Milady's only 30...if you round down!"), or Rod and his Pinto.
Shadow of the Colossus. I was so, so, so, SO thrilled when I first heard it was getting a remake because it abso-fucking-lutely deserved one. There was nothing like it then, I think there's still nothing like it even now. In a time when almost every game wants to add on, add on, here's more characters to unlock, here's more DLC to pay for, and so on - Shadow of the Colossus is an excellent example of just how much a bare-bones game can still do. There's not much told in the way of story, but in this case they don't really need to. There's a lot of showing and atmosphere over explaining; I like that the game assumes we're smart enough and/or creative enough to fill in the details ourselves.
Much of the game is silent and calm aside from ambient sounds and occasionally calling your horse. But when you enter a battle, then the music and the action ramp up, and suddenly you're trying to find the glowing weak spot on a massive behemoth before it smashes you to death. (And don't think Wander will get up super fast if he narrowly avoids getting smashed to death, either. He'll clumsily stand up, which is a nice realistic touch but kind of rage-inducing if you're trying to keep him from getting hit again.)
The contrast works: the calm makes you appreciate the battles, and the battles can often be so nerve-wracking you appreciate a break.
The world isn't super huge, but it's enough for me. All ruined and abandoned and desolate and slightly melancholy, yet calm and beautiful (especially with the remake).
Skyrim. Ah yes, let's be vanilla as hell, shall we Raku? Let's like that one game that everyone else and their brother and their cousin and their dog likes. This one probably does deserve its own post, though, because there's a lot to unpack. Are there problems surrounding it and Bethesda? Oh hell yes. Was it also a game that provided comfort and humor during a time when I desperately needed it? As well as fertile ground for characters I made and still love? Also yes. Sorrrr-y.
I'll be honest; I have no idea why Dark Cloud 2 is one of my favorites. I don't even remember how I heard of it or why I bought it. There's legit criticism to be had - a few of the voiced lines were clearly mismatched, the weapon upgrading system is fun at first but turns into an utter slog by the endgame, and in general the game tried to do way too much and got in over its head.
But Max and Monica here have good chemistry, the music's pretty good, you get to build your own towns and move people in them, the art style has its charm, and for a time travel plot it's not terrible. Overall the game mostly works, is pretty fun, and the story has its moments.
Okami!! The style, the music, the everything. Just...everything.
Heard there's a sequel in the works, but nothing else about it. But something I want to keep an eye on.
Ys 8. Dana, my beloved. Actually everything here is solid - some time in the future I should scrap the review I did and do another now that tumblr allows better quality pictures. (Plus my tone was...kind of weird in it, honestly. All over the place.)
I love her and the supporting characters - Sahad is best fisherman Dad ever, Ricotta's adorable without being annoying. I thought at first I'd hate Laxia, but she redeems herself pretty quickly, and Hummel's...well, okay, he's basically fine. Even the minor characters are interesting and endearing to me. Lady blacksmith! Gladiator grandma! And of course, as always, best buddy Dogi.
The twists and turns in the story, the graphics are gorgeous, the controls are smooth and feel great, Ys games almost always have excellent music and this one's no exception. Honestly I can't think of anything I dislike about it off the top of my-
Oh right, the fucking wasps in that one dungeon. Those sucked. But everything else? Amazing. 9.99/10.
-------------------------------------------------------------
Picking a favorite Pokemon game is like asking me to pick a favorite child. Nope, I refuse.
-------------------------------------------------------------
I'm going to force myself to stop here. Otherwise I'm pretty sure I'd hit the word limit halfway through talking about Death Road to Canada. (I'm assuming there IS a word limit.)
(Death Road to Canada is also very fun, by the way. As long as you're okay with dying a lot in the process.)
no more freaky asks..........tell me about your favorite video game in detail.............
#long post#raku plays her faves#raku won't shut the hell up about her faves#be careful what you wish for =p

How would Scaramouche behave with his children (possibly his son) :)
like a good dad :)
sorry, i already said it but children aren’t exactly my favourite topic and as a man in his early twenties (to me), scara just isn’t the ultimate dad; i tried my best to indulge the other asks but i don’t really want to turn this into a thing

There’s always pressure😣
paring: charles leclerc x sister!f2 driver!reader, arthur leclerc x sister!f2 driver!reader
in which: she’s very proud of them after racing alongside each other, but the pressure is always still on her..
requested: yes, by anonymous: Leclerc!sister being a F2 driver, watching Arthur & Charles both driving in FP1 session and being very proud of them but also feels a bit left out and feels there is going to be so much more pressure on her
Part 2 Part 3 (coming soon)
//
Y/n Leclerc, a rising talent that is currently driving in formula 2. She had just entered the f1 paddock to watch both her older brothers drive in FP1 together.
She smiled and waved at the cameras pointing to her, and made her way over to some of the fans that are waiting for her to sign stuff and take photos.
A few fans started to shout over to her..
“Imagine if you were driving today, Y/n!”
“Three Leclerc’s on the grid need to happen!”
“Why are you apart of Mercedes’s junior team and not Ferrari’s?”
“Don’t you feel like the black sheep of your family?”
“You need to get into f1 soon!”
Y/n smiled awkwardly when the fans shouted them, she quickly signed and took photos before heading her way to the Mercedes garage.
“Sweetheart, isn’t your whole family in Ferrari? What you doing here?” Susie Wolff, asked the young girl.
“Y/n, I told you that you don’t need to be anywhere near our garage today as both Arthur and Charles are in FP1 together” Toto said as he saw one of his junior drivers in the garage.
“I know, just don’t need to be reminded what’s happening today as I had enough of that walking into the paddock just now, I’m going to see Kimi so see you guys later” Y/n added as she left.
“Media never lets the kid breathe without comparing her to her brothers and why she’s not apart of the Ferrari junior team,” Toto said watching Y/n walk away.
“Well, she’s in great hands with us. Tell Lewis to keep an eye on her, he knows how to talk sense in her when she bottles up her feelings” Susie added.
//
“Y/n! There you are, where have you been?” Pascale asked her daughter who just entered the Ferrari garage.
“Just in Mercedes, sorry maman” Y/n mumbled as she stood by her mother.
“Toto and Susie told you that you didn’t need to be in there today due to this special moment between your brothers today” Pascale added.
“I know, sorry” Y/n replied quietly.
“Hey kiddo!” Carlos said as he messed up her hair making her slap him lightly.
“Hi Carlo! Do I need to remind you again not to touch my hair?” Y/n replied as she glared at him.
“Oh leave her alone,” Rebecca said as she appeared from behind Carlos.
“This is why I like her more than you!” Y/n teased as she hugged Rebecca.
“Love you too kiddo” Carlos mumbled.
A few moments later, Y/n watched as Charles and Arthur soon got into their cars and made their way out onto the track, she smiled proudly at them so ensure her mother and everyone she was happy but deep down she was feeling the opposite.
//
Y/n had managed to slip out of the Ferrari garage just before FP1 was finished. She quickly went back over to the Mercedes garage, before she was caught.
“Hey kid, you okay?” Lewis asked.
“Oh, hey Lew! I’m good!” Y/n replied.
“Why aren’t you in Ferrari? Family must be proud watching Charles and Arthur today, special moment for you all” Lewis added.
“Yeah, very proud of them” Y/n mumbled as she looked up to the TV screens that were showing Charles and Arthur with the whole family hugging.
“Shouldn’t you be with them?” Lewis asked.
“Rather stay out of the way, a moment for them to enjoy with the family” Y/n added.
“Y/n, c’mon kid you don’t need to pretend with me. Toto told me as he can read you like a book, I know you are feeling left out and you think there’s more pressure on you due to what the fans were saying when you walked in today” Lewis told her softly, as she look away.
“It’s not just confusing, I love them and very proud of them. But no one really takes notice of me, I feel left out and just adds more pressure to me as I’m their little sister and should be good at racing like them..” Y/n mumbled.
“Don’t even realise I’m gone..” Y/n whispered looking back to the TV screens that are showing what’s happening in the Ferrari garage.
“Hey, c’mon you’re still their little sister and you mean everything to your family. You are creating your own name for yourself in racing, you joined Mercedes which is a different route to both your brothers. I know how bad the media can be, you can’t let them bring you down as you are doing amazing in F2 right now” Lewis told her.
“Why are you so good at talking, I just want to be sad but you’re making it hard!” Y/n joked with a smile on her face.
“What can I say? C’mon, let’s go the hospitality as it will be comfortable and we can talk more” Lewis added as the youngest Leclerc nodded.
//
Lewis and Y/n has been in the hospitality for 30 minutes when Toto and Susie joined them, the five of them had been there for some time and Y/n kept getting messages from her mother..
Maman❤️
Y/n, darling! Where have you wondered off to?
You should be here with us all celebrating this special moment with your brothers!
It’s so disappointed in you, that you have decided not to be here!
You better be in Ferrari as soon as possible.

the older i get the more confused i become in regards to my identity.
#z escribe#i have been aware that i was adopted from a young age. heck i knew before my mom told me because i watched the health channel#and i rmbr they showed a skin color chart and i pieced together...two white parents don't equal a brown kid#and i thought that the colorblind mindset was a proper one to be brought up with. obviously not as i experienced racism in elementary.#and was extremely confused why 'other' white kids didn't see me as white either...well no shit you're not white baby aza#and i went through a radical phase during middle school. hating all white people. but then my mom's white fragility deterred me from that#as any time i would voice my anger she would... quite literally in tears... try to reason with me and be like ''but i'm white people...#do you hate me?'' to which i would always have to soothe her. and honestly i have become comfortable in identifying with mixed.#it is a comfortable identity because i have grown up without any specific culture (outside of american. which. how does one even begin to#define the complexities of such an identity... the way that american as a nationality transcends as it becomes a civil religion.)#anyways. i have been thinking about a guy at a party and our conversations. and how we got to our identities and i instantly...#out of habit really. told him ''well i'm half mexican or indigenous too... but i mean it's not like i'm really latin.'' and he was like.#''no azaria. you are. don't diminish yourself and your ancestors just because you weren't able to grow up around that culture''#his comment made me think about my identity once again after a long time of not wondering what it means to be Me.#and i recently submitted a paper for an internship. and god. i was reading it to my white mom. and after i read the concluding paragraph#she asked me to read it again. to which i did. and then after a pause she sighed and said i was being ''too angry''#and when i asked her to elaborate she simply said ''well it makes it sound as if white people are evil''#mind you. my application paper is about working at a museum for african american/black art preservation. like. art history is so deeply#saturated with colonialism and racism??? and she just chose to ignore that point of my paper and focus on me critiquing her fellow white#people. and to categorize me as the 'angry black person' are you Fucking kidding me. but then even with that she was like.#''i just don't get why you're so angry. you're not even black. i mean. you don't look black at all. you look mexican''#she constantly wants my identity to be simple. to be watered down. to be digestible.#i am the product of a biracial mother and fully latin/indigenous father. that is the truth of my identity. i will NEVER be perceived as#white.#but after that i just felt so incredibly shitty and called my sister and she told me what our mom said to her that day too. and i said#something along the lines of ''sometimes i feel as if mom thinks we owe her for adopting us.'' and my sister agreed.#it broke me. it really did. to know that i am not being overdramatic in my thoughts. to know that i am not simply being ungrateful.#my sister says that she copes with it by reasoning that our parents are born in the 40s and times were a lot different then. but it is hard#for me to constantly excuse their racism and ignorance towards my identity. both regarding my queerness and ethnicity.#i am so tired. so so tired.
