all (suspectedly and for now) clankie episodes in the 2nd part of season one

before we start - these are all speculations (for now) based ONLY on episode lists, specifically the "official" one on the wiki, a little bit on the one leaked before on 4chan, and my own assumptions. We might actually get more of clankie scenes in other episodes that just dont concentrate on them like in "Monster Movie", where they just sat in the background for a minute talking OR get less of them and i'm just reaching too far lol

"Cleo in the kitchen"

We're actually starting off with an episode that's not so far in the future - episode 16, or in this case 27. Going off the description on wiki, that's what it'll be about:

i know, i know, Frankie isn't even mentioned, but hey - Cleo, their crush (?), is making a meal for one of their best ghoulfriends, they probably will be there. And imagine a scene like this one:

BUT the opposite? Frankie ending up with something on their face and after Cleo does that they go into a full on gay panic? That'd be such a fun reference!

Honestly not hoping for much from this episode, but the opportunity is there!

next up: "Pet Problems"

Or episode 17/29, which means that we're getting lots of possible content in these two weeks!

This one is FOR SURE a clankie episode, atleast in a way, as the infamous love triangle between Frankie, Cleo and Deuce finally starts forming.

And I'm here for it.

When it comes to this ep, we'll discuss two options.

Number one, leaked 4chan description:

1 is giving us much more hope for clankie to be actually endgame, telling us clearly that they will maybe be a little jealous of the relationship developing between Cleo and Deuce because of Hissete, where 2 just says she needs help from both of them, which, eh, wouldn't be as interesting, but still would set up the love triangle that the plot is going for.

I'm lowkey hoping we'll get to see Frankie trying to help as much as they can but just not being able to do so as much as Deuce and feeling guily or jealous of him and then either Cleo reassuring them near the end of the episode or just them being confused about the situation, which would be less satisfying in the moment but would lead to more drama later on, PRECISELY in:

"Monster Match"

So episode 27/44 - THE MOST CRUCIAL CLANKIE EP OF THE SEASON.

(between these two episodes theres a hugeee 10-episode-long gap, but, as i said in the very beginning, we might get glimpses of them in episodes that don't include them in descriptions, so don't lose hope lol)

SO, this will be the time where the tension reaches its highest level and we'll finally get some romantic action going on.

Again, when it comes to 1, we're getting more of a clear confirmation of Frankies actual feelings and what we love most - love triangle drama. There are many ways this episode could go with that trope, for example having Frankie convinced that Deuce wants to ask Cleo out while he actually tries to ask them to the dance and giving up when Cleo agrees, or both of them actually chasing after her... Lots of posibilities, really.

And the actual episode described in 2 goes a little different, creating an actual love triangle type of scenario - Deuce liking Frankie, Frankie liking Cleo and Cleo... well, that's what we have to figure out, but hopefully liking Frankie back. I'd actually love to see Deuce being supportive and him and Frankie becoming besties as he helps them ask Cleo out. What's interesting about this description though is the word invite. Why would it not be just *ask*??? It's a little scary, cause what if they just invite Cleo as a friend? That'd suckkkk

Instruments take time and lots of practice but I understand what you mean about being lazy I think the only reason why I'm not so good about keyboard percussion is because I don't practice too often,,,

And the guys at my school SUCKKKK but I do try to ignore them when I can they just get under my skin/make me pissed off but my friends make school worth it yk? I try and be open-minded about school when I can cause optimism usually makes me happy (obv I think)

Drew my interpretation of Spooker’s sister and Poppy’s mom— also known as Barnacle Boat, but I call her Emmie.

Other things about her I didn’t put on the page:

- She’s waaaay older than Spooker, Spooks is closer to Poppy’s age.

- Used to work in the family business, had a wake up call after high school.

- Emmie’s husband was already really sick (actual radiation poisoning) when Poppy was born and barely got to see her first birthday.

- She didn’t get to raise Poppy because when she was five, Emerson survived her Ghost Nuking experience with severe bodily harm and couldn’t take care of her daughter. She let her dad take Poppy, but in the time that Emerson was recovering, the first PIE team thought it fit to banish Chakalata’s house and restaurant from their reality to avoid confrontation, taking with it everyone inside. (Poppy was homeschooled until she was around 12, when they managed to escape the dimension they were sent to. Emerson is concerned about how this affected her sociability.)

- Emmie is anti-old PIE, cuz of what they did to her daughter, but understands the service of ghost containment can be necessary, recognizing her grandfather’s behavior especially as incredibly extreme and in need of being kept in check, though she has more denial of her father’s dangers because of how her loss was disregarded from it. She doesn’t like Ghost much, but trusts the current team since her brother likes them. Colon is her favorite of his coworkers.

- She has never been ‘alive’ (no heartbeat, yes brainwaves), and she considers herself much more of a ghost than a person as a result, unlike Spooker, who feels he needs to cross another threshold in order to be able to call himself a ghost and not just half-ghost.

- Thanksgiving in this family suckkkks

- I’m still working on her pre-heat death of the universe design, but I’m not changing my base poppy design for her.

【Mikan Tsumiki】

• You basically lucked out to be dating the Ultimate Nurse, while having a very weird sick pattern

• At first it worried her about how you get sick so easily and so quickly, but after a while she feels kinda,, happy about it in her own way

• It both keeps her on her toes and it has you rely on her more since she has to nurse you back to health. Basically it makes her feel useful to you is all

• Though, since you get sick so quickly and random at that, it causes Mikan to bring an onslaught of medical supplies everywhere just to be ready and prepared

• You try not to worry her too much, so you had her make you a "go-bag" with a few varieties of things so if Mikan isn't with you then you can take care of yourself for the time being

• It helps relief some of the stress, but she still is often around by to help you

【Kirumi Tojo】

• Honestly, I dont think Kirumi would have much of a problem whenever you get sick (which is pretty often)

• She is a natural caretaker, and the Ultimate Maid at that, so she has no problem devoting all of her time to taking care of you

• Sure her skills in healing probably don't compare that to Mikan, the Ultimate Nurse, but they are pretty close

• She would make you your favorite teas, all of your favorite snacks and meals you would have no hesitant eating even with being sick

• Will also give you medicine if needed be, and bring you as many blankets and pillows as you wish

• The only drawback is that when you get sick, which she learned is basically every other day, it hinders her schedule to help others with their needs

• But she adapts pretty early to this, and you are her s/o, so taking care of your needs and health comes first

【Aoi Asahina】

• In short, it definitely catches her off guard

• Like she never has met someone to get sick randomly which ultimately ends up with her having some trouble trying to keep up whenever you are sick

• She does her best though!!

• I seen somewhere where she would make you soup whenever you are sick and- I'm using that

• Would also ask you if you need anything like every 5 minutes. Like if you need more pillows, if you are hungry - maybe you need more blankets?

• Sometimes she can't take care of you due to her schedule at times so she'll have Sakura to go over and check up on you

• There are times she's worried since you get sick so randomly that there might actually be something worse, but you just reassure her that it's fine and normal for you

I’m gonna do this for Aster because I miss my girl.

1. What was the first element of your OC that you remember considering (name, appearance, backstory, etc.?

I knew I was going to be writing this like... sci-fi fantasy mashup with dragons and military and like.... Aster kind of just fell into my lap? I wanted someone who was badass, and I wanted some part of a self insert (asters are my birth month flower) because she came about for nanowrimo like five years ago.

2. Did you design them with any other characters/OCs from their universe in mind?

I knew she was going to have a dragon and that was going to be super important. But no, most of the other characters came after.

3. How did you choose their name?

Oops, answered that already. Asters are the flowers for September, and also it’s just really pretty!

4. In developing their backstory, what elements of the world they live in played the most influential parts?

The way that the culture surrounding dragon riders exists was super influential. With that came a way to make her sort of tragic but not abnormal in her own world, like not knowing her parents very well and being raised primarily by her school.

5. Is there any significance behind their hair colour?

I just like black hair. My protags don’t usually have brown hair bc I feel like it’s too similar to me? Even though it’s literally just hair.

6. Is there any significance behind their eye colour?

Nah, I just like the color green.

7. Is there any significance behind their height?

Gotta be the shortest of her poly group. It’s important for plot reasons that she be easy to pick up and carry.

8. What (if anything) do you relate to within their character/story?

She wants to do what’s right, but feels conflicted about the means to get that done. Aster is absolutely a hopeless romantic, but a “I can do it myself” kind of girl that I was in high school when I made her. She’s got shit knees and thinks too much.

9. Are they based off of you, in some way?

I mean most of my characters are in a little way at least. Past the name and some coincidental stuff though, nah.

10. Did you know what the OC’s sexuality would be at the time of their creation?

Oooof, no I did not. I was mostly closeted at the time. I knew she was gonna be somewhere on the ace spectrum. She’s still there, but she’s also firmly bi and embracing the poly life. Which wasn’t something I discovered about her until I was hacking away at her roomate situation and some background.

11. What have you found to be most difficult about creating art for your OC (any form of art: Writing, drawing, edits, etc.)?

I! Can’t! Decide! What! Their! Uniforms! Look! Like!!!!! Honestly that’s the hardest thing. Her overall design hasn’t changed much at all, even if the rest of the cast has.

12. How far past the canon events that take place in their world have you extended their story, if at all?

Mmm... That would require me to know where canon events end. 

13. If you had to narrow it down to 2 things that you MUST keep in mind while working with your OC, what would those things be?

1. She’s clumsy as hell and will get hurt, but never when you expect it

2.She has to choose what is right over what is smart, she’s the most well read dumbass I have.

14. What is something about your OC that can make you laugh?

Oh my God the banter. She’s got one liners that take me days to write but they come effortlessly to her and I die every time.

15. What is something about your OC can make you cry?

She just wants to be HAPPY but she’s willing to be miserable if it means the people she loves can be happy in the long run.

16. Is there some element you regret adding to your OC or their story?

Mmm... All the military shit. But honestly something has to resemble a plot here, and I suckkkk at conflict.

17. What is the most recent thing you’ve discovered about your OC?

That she was like, top in her class but a certified dumbass. 

18. What is your favourite fact about your OC?

She spends a good chunk of time talking to someone who is literally like, the spitting image of her and never once thinks ‘huh, I wonder if we’re related’ even when their backstories line up. It takes Sage being like ‘hey uhhhhhh, I think that’s your brother maybe?’ for her to be like ‘huh, well maybe’.

I feel like I relate to hermione in a lot of ways, and I relate to Clary in the aspect of trying to find myself and also getting out from under protective parents (in the books). 

2.       What was your very first OTP? And why? (The why is optional but I would love it if you could elaborate)

My very first OTP was harry and hermione! I still think they should have ended up together tbh, and the harry potter series was the first set of characters and books that I truly fell in love with. I always thought they balanced each other out so well, with harry’s impulsivity and hermione’s wits. They brought out the best in each other!

3.       What is your favourite sport? (To watch or to play)

Basketball 100%

4.       What is the stupidest or most embarrassing way you’ve injured yourself (If this doesn’t apply to any of you, you can skip it, I only ask because I am super clumsy and constantly getting injured)

Ummm, I mean i’ve never broken a bone or anything but I fall over ALL THE TIME

I would love to have a weekend where the first day was nice and sunny, but still cool (so fall weather) and I’d be able to go out and do something outside with my friends. And then the next day I would want it to be a thunderstorm where I could stay inside and read by a window :)

I’d probably pick kat mcnamara honestly, she just seems super cool and intelligent and I’d love to hear about her studies and her work on the show! If not her then matt daddario cause like.. who doesn’t wanna hang out with matt honestly.
