Honestly, when it comes to Homura, my opinion is the statements, “Homura genuinely loves Madoka,” “Homura does have a bit of an obsession for Madoka,” “Homura did do bad things and did hurt the one (Madoka) she wanted to protect,” and “Homura is a 14 year old who just wants to protect the one she loves the best way she can” aren’t mutually exclusive and can all coexist.
#homura akemi#akemi homura#madoka kaname#kaname madoka#madoka magica#puella magi madoka magica#pmmm#like both ends of the spectrum on the views of Homura frustrate me#she made mistakes and did things that weren’t ok#such as stripping madoka of her god-hood#and attempting to kill Sayaka#and her love for madoka is arguably at least a LITTLE obsessive#but at the same time she’s still just a traumatized teen trying to save the one she loves#tldr-Homura isn’t some horrible person#but she isn’t some sweet little angel who can’t make mistakes#She’s a nuanced character and I wish people treated her as such

Crybaby (Logan x Reader)
warnings: AFAB!reader, age gap, mean!logan, yelling, dacraphyillia, slightly dark, vaginal fingering, 18+ minors dni, divider from @strangergraphics
You can feel Logan’s eyes staring holes into the back of your head on the jet. You fucked up on this mission and he made sure you knew it. Loudly. In front of the rest of the team. He practically ripped you a new one with his harsh words, insulting your intelligence, strength, and ability to use your powers. Jean, the sweet angel she is, gently talked Logan down and saved you from facing more of his anger. Unfortunately, no one will be able to stop him once you get back to the mansion.
When you land, you hurry off the jet so Logan isn’t able to catch up with you. He made his point perfectly clear earlier, and you don’t need to hear any more of his yelling. You gather your things and make it back to your room without interruption, leaving you alone to clean up from the mission and deal with the day’s events.
Earth-wielding powers aren’t something to use when distracted, but so many things were happening at once that you slipped up. Storm got caught between two large rocks that you had moved and she was almost seriously hurt. Luckily you caught your mistake before any damage was done, but Logan still found your actions unacceptable. Guilt stews in your stomach as you think about what could’ve happened to Storm. You never would have forgiven yourself if a mistake you made got one of your teammates killed.
By the time you’re fresh from the shower and dressed, it’s late. You should head to bed and forget this mess of a day, but you can’t let yourself. You decide to go to the library, a place you usually go for privacy away from those with enhanced hearing. You sit in one of the armchairs with your legs tucked under you. The fireplace in the room is always lit and it give an orange glow to the cozy room.
As you sit, you remember all of the things Logan had said to you. It was as if he knew exactly how to get under your skin, targeting all of your insecurities like they were written on your face. Those insults from anyone else may not have hurt as much as they did coming from Logan, the man you’ve been in a relationship with for weeks now. You can’t stop the tears leaking from your eyes, and your stomach burns with shame as you recall what Logan had called you earlier. A crybaby.
“You’re a pathetic little crybaby who doesn’t deserve a spot on this fuckin’ team.”
He spit the mean words at you like he has been waiting to say them for a while. You thought you were getting closer with Logan, perhaps making a romantic connection. Your relationship with him started as something purely physical, but you felt like you were growing closer to him. Perhaps that was wishful thinking. You’re surprised you held back tears then, but now, away from prying eyes, you let them fall. You muffle your sobs in your shirt sleeves, but you’re obviously not quiet enough. Your attention is grabbed by a figure standing in the doorway.
Logan’s shadowed figure blocks the dim light from the hall as he looks in on you, sobbing in the dark like the crybaby he knew you were. He looks uncomfortable like he’s trying to find something to make this awkward encounter better, but he comes up short. Instead, he walks into the room and behind your chair. He places a heavy hand on your shoulder and squeezes it slightly.
“I’m sorry about today,” he says after some time. “I… didn’t mean to yell at you like that.” You don’t respond because, honestly, what could you say to that? He humiliated you in front of everyone. Logan says your name gently, wanting you to respond, but you stay quiet.
With a sigh, he steps around the chair and squats down in front of it so he can be at eye level with you. “Please say something,” he urges.
You look up from your lap at him, and you can’t help the butterflies in your stomach. He looks beautiful in the glow from the fireplace, but his features are blurred a bit by the tears in your eyes. His expression grows even more guilty when he sees your tear-stained cheeks and glassy eyes.
“Aren’t you gonna make fun of me?” you ask, voice thick.
Logan’s eyes furrow. “What are you talking about?”
“You were right. I am a crybaby,” you mumble.
“I’m sorry, sweetheart. I didn’t mean that, I just… I got carried away.” Logan pauses for a moment. “Let me make you feel better. Please.”
Hearing The Wolverine plead for permission to console you is unexpected, but not unwelcome. You nod and he gently scoops you into his arms before sitting down in the place you just were. He settles you on his lap and he wraps his arms around you. You bury your face in his chest, breathing in the musky smell that you’ve come to love. You let yourself cry into his shirt, making the fabric damp with your tears.
“I’ve got you,” he whispers.
He lets you cry for a little while longer before the guilt catches up to him again. “Sweetheart?”
You look up at him with your glassy doe eyes and he can’t bring himself to look away. You’re so sweet, so innocent, so naive, and sometimes it gets the better of you. Logan looks at your red-rimmed eyes and your swollen lips and he thinks you’re beautiful. He wants to kiss those tears away and he feels like a monster for it. He’s the reason you’re crying, for fuck’s sake.
“Yeah?” you ask.
Whatever he was going to say went out the window. Sometimes Logan feels like he is no better than an animal, especially during moments like these. The girl he cares most about is in his lap, shaking like a leaf because of what he said to her, and the only thing the feral part of his brain can think about is how badly he wants her. It’s the predator instinct, to want to pounce on the helpless little lamb. He knows it’s wrong, he knows he hurt her and this is no way to make up for it. But sometimes he just can’t help himself.
“You’re my little crybaby, ain’t ya?” he asks. The question is condescending, but he keeps that same sympathetic tone.
Your brows furrow. “What?”
“I’m sorry about before, baby, I really am. But you cryin’ like this in my lap… you’re so goddamn sweet.”
Logan brushes your bottom lip with the pad of his thumb and you instinctively open your mouth and let him in. You suck on his thumb gently as fat tears fall down your cheeks again. He watches with half-lidded eyes as you take more of his thumb into your mouth like you’re greedy for more, despite being so upset.
“You cry so fuckin’ pretty,” he praises, and just to be an asshole, he adds, “I should make you do it more often.”
You pout around his finger, which makes him grin down at you. “Let me make it up to you, baby. Would my dick make you feel better?”
You should tell him to fuck off. How dare he berate you and then expect to fuck you a few hours later. You should tell him that your relationship is done. You shouldn’t want him to fuck you senseless right now.
Squeezing your eyes shut, you nod. Gently, Logan adjusts you in his lap so your straddling his thighs. Only the small pair of cotton panties that you were wearing under your sweatshirt and his jeans separate you. He undones the fly of his pants and frees his cock easily, the weight of you on top of him not hindering him any. His fingers find the elastic band of your panties and he pulls them to the side easily, exposing your wet pussy.
When he feels your slick on his finger, he gives you a questioning look. You feel like explaining that it turns you on when a man comforts you is a conversation for another day, so you just shrug innocently.
Logan works his fingers inside of you to prep him for his cock. He’s big, but thankfully it doesn’t take too much work to get you ready for him. Both of you are impatient by nature, and right now especially, you’re not in the mood for much foreplay.
Once Logan deems you ready, he positions you and sinks you down on his cock. Your greedy cunt swallows every inch like the good girl you are and he praises you for it. Once you’re fully seated, you try to ride him but he stops you.
“I’ve got you, doll. I’ll do the work and you can keep crying it out. How’s that sound?” he asks in that infuriatingly hot voice he only uses when he fucks you. Leaning forward, you hide your face in the crook of his neck and you nod. “Yeah, that’s my good little crybaby.”

Warnings: Whiskey being a jerk to women, mentions of deceased loved one
W/c: 1.7k+
* ・‥…━━━━━━━ *˖◛⁺♡ ━━━━━━━…‥・
Jack Daniels, better known as Agent Whiskey, wasn't one for relationships. After his high school sweetheart died, his need or want for love died along with her. Of course like any man with needs he would often fuck around. It was meaningless one night stands, just to satiate his lust. He was sure to let whoever he was fucking know that there were no strings attached and he didn’t want a relationship. He broke countless hearts and even some women from the office quit once he rejected them, he simply didn’t care.
That’s what happened to the last receptionist. He swooped in and began to woo her with his southern charm just to get her in bed and he had accomplished his feat. They slept around for a few months before she caught feelings. One night after they had sex, she confessed and he laughed. “Sorry sweetheart, don’t want ya like that. You’re only good to me in my bed when you’re moanin’. Don’t need ya for anythin’ else. Now get.” He told her harshly, essentially laughing in her face. After that she quit, no two week notice or anything. Simply never came back.
Today the new receptionist was supposed to begin. He didn’t care who you were, he wasn’t interested in getting to know you. He would simply play nice, woo you, and fuck you. The same as he’d done with other women. As he sat in his office reviewing mission files Champ knocked on his door. “Come in.” Whiskey looked up from the files. “Ah, what can I do ya for Champ?” He spoke as he leaned back in his chair and crossed his arms. “New receptionist started today. Don’t be a jerk and make this one quit, alright son?” Champ said with a smirk even though he was serious. Whiskey laughed, “No promises. Anyway reckon I outta introduce myself to the little lady.” He said as he stood up buttoning his blazer, he made his way to the elevator to go to the first floor where you were at.
Once he reached the floor and the elevators opened, he looked up and the air was taken from his lungs. His eyes widened, his jaw nearly dropped, he swore he heard a choir of angels singing as he laid eyes upon you. He clutched his chest, this feeling was foreign. He swore he could never feel what he felt ever again.. What was happening? He had never felt this way for any other women except his wi- no. He can’t feel this way, he won’t feel this way. He knows you can only fall in love once and he already was in love, this isn’t possible.. Right? He was probably having a stroke or a heart attack, yeah, that sounds about right.
You felt the sensation of someone staring at you so you looked up from your computer and saw Agent Whiskey standing in front of the elevator, looking at you while clutching his chest. You had a look of concern etched on your face. You quickly got up and made your way over to him. “Agent Whiskey? Are you okay?” You spoke softly as you walked toward him.
He looked you up and down and internally groaned. You were so curvy and your rolls were so cute to him. You were far different from the women he used to bring home. And your voice- it was like honey, like silk, like the sweetest sugar. There was no denying it he was so fucked.
He cleared his throat and straightened out, flashing a smile. “I’m alright sugar, jus’ had a lil’ heartburn. Thank ya for checkin’ up. You’re new around here ain’t ya?” When he confirmed he was alright you smiled and nodded. “Yes sir! I’m the new receptionist!” You sure were a bubbly thing, your smile contagious. Whiskey kept his smile, but this smile was genuine and he genuinely was interested in the things you said, he clung onto the words you spoke like you were giving him oxygen to breathe. “I see, got a name lil’ lady?” He placed his hands on his hips as he looked down at you. You told him your name and chuckled. “Very pretty name, I must say you’re a pretty lil’ thing.” He flirted, which shocked you. Agent Whiskey was an attractive man and you had high confidence but men rarely openly complimented or flirted with you. “Oh, thank you! You’re not too bad yourself.” You chuckled, Whiskey was about to make a risky move but he didn’t care, he had come to terms with it. He wanted you, actually wanted you. Not for a fling, not to get in your pants, he truly wanted you. “Are uh, are ya doin’ anythin’ later tonight doll?” he asked, you shook your head, “No, why?” Now was his chance. “There’s this lil’ burger joint ‘round here that’s like a vintage diner.. Maybe ya wanted to, I dunno come out with me there for dinner?” He asked as he looked into your eyes, they were so beautiful to him. Like two sapphires shining in the moonlight. You smiled and bit your bottom lip. “Sure! I’d like that Agent..” He exhaled a breath he didn’t realize he was holding and he had the biggest grin on his face. “Alright then.. I’ll come down here after hours an’ I’ll pick ya up to take ya to the diner.”
Once back in his office Whiskey couldn’t believe what happened. Never in his wildest dreams did he imagine that would happen. As he sat down on his chair he thought about his deceased wife. She would’ve wanted him to move on… truth be told she was probably disappointed in how he had treated women and discarded them like they were nothing. It was time for him to start anew with you. He wouldn’t mess this up, he owes it to you and his wife to at least try to make this work.
Surprisingly the time goes by fast for both you and Whiskey. You both busied yourself in your work which made time fly. Before you knew it Whiskey was already descending the elevators on his way to your desk. You logged off the computer and collected your things. “Hey doll.” His thick, rich southern voice drew. You looked over at him, “Hi Whiskey!” He grinned, “Please doll, call me Jack.” He held out his arm for you to take, ever the gentleman.
As you both left the building he held the door open for you and when you got to his vintage Ford Bronco, he held the door open for you as well. Y’all hadn’t even gotten to the diner and already this date was going super well. Once you both were inside and buckled up he pulled out of the parking lot and drove through the Kentucky streets to take you to the diner.
After y’all arrived and he parked he helped you out of the vehicle and escorted you inside. The place was so cute, it looked like it was out of a movie in the 50’s with all the vibrant colors and lights that surrounded the area. You both were seated in a booth and you looked around in awe. Whiskey couldn’t help but smile at how adorable you looked as you took in your surroundings.
“Ya like it doll?” He asked as he leaned back in the booth, draping his arm on top of the booth he was sitting in. You looked at him with the biggest smile. “Uh huh! It’s so cute! This place is amazing!” He was pleased that you liked this place. “Glad ya think so.”
When the waitress came and took their orders Whiskey got a bacon cheeseburger with a coca-cola. You got a regular cheeseburger with a strawberry milkshake. While you waited on the food you both chatted for what seemed like hours. The conversation flowed so naturally between you both, it was as if you’ve known each other for years. Whiskey himself thought about how he could listen to you yap forever and he’d never get bored or annoyed with you. He was truly a man in love.
Once your food came you both ate, the food was so yummy! You shared your burger and milkshake with him and he shared his burger with you. Whiskey watched at how cute you looked with your chubby cheeks filled with food, he could get used to this sight every day. If there was one thing Whiskey learned today was that maybe you can fall in love more than once and that was okay. He knew he wanted to be the one that you woke up next to and would fall asleep next to as well, he wants to be the one who sees you at all hours of the day. Hell he even wants you to carry his children and carry his last name. His late wife could never be replaced but he didn’t see you as a replacement, he saw you as someone who was slowly healing him and helping him move on.
When you both finished your food, he paid and drove you home, the ride was filled with a nice comfortable silence. Once he pulled up to your place, he got out and opened the door for you so you could exit his vehicle. He then walked you to your door. Before you opened the door, you turned to look at him, a small shy smile on your face. “Thank you for everything Jack.. I truly enjoyed myself.. I hope we can do this again soon.” Whiskey looked down at you with a soft smile on his lips. “Glad you enjoyed yourself.. I did too.. Of course, this ain’t a one time thing baby. I wanna keep seein’ ya.” You nodded and leaned in, placing a soft, gentle kiss on his plush lips. He held you there for a while before you both pulled away. “Kay.. Night Jack, see you tomorrow..” You said as you entered your house. As you shut the door Whiskey stood there, bringing his fingers to his lips, still feeling the phantom feeling your lips left on his. He made his way back to his Bronco, maybe his wife sent you to come to his life and make him a better man.. He grinned and began to drive back to his place. He was hopeful that you two would create something beautiful and real together.

On Almost Kisses & Bruised Foreheads
pairing: spencer reid x reader
summary: “what’s going on?” the blonde woman asked slyly. “penelope just sent a group text saying you and spence tried to make out and failed so now you both have matching bruises.”
genre: fluff
word count: 1.4k
author's notes: i'm back to original programming (writing for spencer). i laughed a lot writing this. i hope you do too while reading this one. enjoy!
YOU’D LIKE TO THINK THAT YOU ARE A MATURE AND RESPONSIBLE PERSON. You’d like to think that you are mature enough to not worry about a little blemish—a bruise, if we’re being honest. You work for the FBI for Pete’s sake! So, ending up with a giant bruise on your forehead was something you already anticipated. But getting a bruise due to the most embarrassing reason is something you never thought you’d experience. You’ve been on the receiving end of a couple of injuries after scuffles with unsubs. Of course, you weren’t new to scratches. But this? A massive purple splotch on your forehead caused by a drunken mistake takes the cake. Your coworkers would have a field day on this one once they find out why.
You were taking your sweet time walking out of the elevator when you heard a dramatic gasp from none other than your most gossipy coworker, Penelope Garcia. You love the woman. You do! She’s one of your best friends in the world. You just wished she wasn’t so curious and chatty. You don’t want everyone in the office to know your business and the lore behind your bruised forehead.
“My beautiful baby angel!” Garcia shrieked. “What happened to your forehead? Whose life am I going to ruin for hurting your pretty face? I can just look up their digital footprint and have it sen—“
“I’m fine, Pen,” You laughed. Penelope may be a big gossip but she’s the most thoughtful and caring person ever, right after another colleague of yours. “It’s nothing. My phone fell on my face after I had to turn off my alarm while half asleep.”
“You sure?” Your friend clarified. “Because I can ruin their life truly. I’m not even kidding right now.”
“I know that,” You smiled endearingly at your sweet friend. “And I love you for that.”
You hugged Penelope and kissed her cheek as she started mumbling about how you were protecting the person who hurt you, vowing to know who it was. Oh, you were protecting someone, just not who Penelope expected it to be. And the injury was not because of you snoozing your alarm half-asleep.
Technical analyst down, five profilers to go.
You wish it’d be that easy to fool them.
“What’s going on here?”
Both of you turned and faced none other than the biggest jokester on the team, Derek Morgan. You think fooling Penelope was hard? Try fooling Morgan. As much of a prankster he is, he’s one of the greatest profilers you’ve worked with. Don’t let his well-built body fool you because he isn’t just a typical jock. Derek’s mind was as sharp as a steel trap.
“Nothing,” You retorted, trying to prevent Derek from seeing your forehead. “What? I can’t hug my favorite member of the team now?”
“Hey!” Derek exclaimed. “I thought I was your favorite member of the team. You know, when I bought you your coffee last week?”
“It’s expired. Sorry, buddy.” You huffed sassily, patting Derek’s shoulder, absolutely eager to leave the man behind with Penelope when he easily grabbed your arm before you could escape. “Buy me another cup of coffee and we can talk about it.”
“Did someone hurt you?” Derek interrogated, his jaw hardening as he saw the shiner you were sporting. “Who did this to you? I swear to Go—”
Before you could reply and “explain” the bump you had, Emily came bounding into your little group circle, laughing about some boo-boo Spencer was parading around. She failed to observe the serious atmosphere between you, Derek, and Penelope as she went on and on about the purple splotch on Spencer’s face until she noticed the lack of response from all three of you.
“Did you guys even hear what I just said?” Emily probed, giggling as she tried to share Spencer’s unfortunate tale. “Reid has a shiner on his forehead the size of Texas.”
You stared at your shoes pointedly, scratching the side of your forehead where the bruise was, avoiding everyone’s stare before they could put two and two together.
“What’s up with you?”
At this point, you were sweating buckets, hoping Emily wouldn’t notice the welt on your temple, which may or may not match the one on Spencer’s forehead. You slowly backed away to avoid the three people in front of you when you bumped into someone. Turning, you saw none other than the one person you hoped not to bump into today out of all days because then, the whole team would know what was going on.
“H-hey Spence!” You cheerfully greeted, pretending everything was normal. Pretending that having a bruise that mirrored the other person’s bruise was normal for coworkers like you. “Everything okay?”
You were about to continue rambling to deflect the questions both you and Spencer were about to get bombarded with when all three of your teammates started gasping dramatically. A chorus of “Oh my god!”, “No way!”, and “My man” coming out of their mouths.
You facepalmed and grunted when you accidentally hit your temple as Spencer frowned, not registering the reactions you were getting from your other coworkers. “Are you okay? Did you put an ice pack on your bruise for ten to twenty minutes? You must ice an injury during the first twenty-four to forty-eight hours as it eases the inflammation.”
“I’m fine,” You assured Spencer to prevent him from rambling on and on. He tends to do that when he’s worried. It’s endearing but right now? You didn’t need him to divulge any more details that could help the others construct the whole picture together. “I did everything you told me to last night.”
“Last night?!” Penelope screeched behind you. “Weren’t we all together last night? We were at O’Keefe’s and then—Oh! Boy Wonder took you home after one too many drinks. Oh my god! Are you guys dating? Did you have se—”
Emily placed a palm on Penelope’s face and muffled her screeching before she could cause a scandal on the entire floor while Derek was laughing uncontrollably now, slapping his thigh like what Penelope just said was the funniest thing in the world.
“My man,” Morgan whistled, smirking at Spencer who still looked confused as ever. You were full-on scowling right now, willing the earth to swallow you whole, or maybe the three members of the team who were nagging you and Spencer “I didn’t know you had it in you to spend a late night with anyone else other than your books.”
“Shut up!” You cried while Spencer sputtered.
“W-what? N-no!” The brunette interjected, blushing like crazy now. “I didn’t spend the night at her house,” He pointed at you. “We didn’t do anything! We just, you know, almost kissed. That’s all.” Spencer muttered as he scratched the back of his neck.
“Is that why you both have that huge welt on your foreheads?” Emily wheezed. “ You didn’t even get to kiss. You just banged your foreheads together and called it a day. Oh my god! Wait till Rossi hears this one.”
“Emily!” You shrieked. “Get back here!”
As you tried to chase after the woman who was off like a jet, Penelope and Derek were snickering like little kids trying to text JJ, your other teammate, who hadn’t arrived yet.
“Are you okay?”
You turned to see JJ who had just arrived looking confused as to why both you and Spencer were red in the face, you in indignation, and Spencer in embarrassment.
“What’s going on?” The blonde woman asked slyly. “Penelope just sent a group text saying you and Spence tried to make out and failed so now you both have matching bruises.”
“Not you too!” You groaned as JJ cackled, pulling Garcia and Derek away from you and Spencer.
“I’m sorry,” Spencer broke the silence once both of you were alone. “If I didn’t head butt you, we wouldn’t be sporting these massive bruises.”
You laughed, shaking your head. “For what it’s worth, at least we’re matching. Who else gets to say that?”
Spencer smiled softly and stared at your lips. It seemed time stood still, and you wanted nothing more than to have a repeat of last night—a much better version of last night, of course. You were slowly moving towards each other when you heard someone tittering.
“Oh my god! The kids are about to kiss.”
“Wait a minute, Spence” You held the brunette’s shoulders, stepped back, and turned to your side. Your four other teammates were now giggling like kids in the schoolyard. “Get out!”
They all scrambled right after guffawing.
Maybe maturity was something the FBI should add to their requirements when hiring new agents. The BAU was full of juvenile delinquents.

Sliding Into Home Master List Main Masterlist
Abigail Cecilia Hernandez-Adler grew up in a crazy house. But not like you think.
The youngest of five children, she is also the only girl. Her parents' miracle. Not that they didn’t love her brothers. But she was an unexpected, yet adored by her family, miracle.
Walking towards her childhood home, Mary was chattering as usual. She loved her adoptive grandparents, well really, her only grandparents, seeing as how Frank’s mother, Evelyn, wasn’t really in the picture. “Do you think Abuela (grandmother) made my cake?”
“I’m sure she did.” Abby smiled. Her “cake” was actually imported sweet bread with pineapple jam filling. Ana could make it, but the local Salvadorean bakery had it shipped fresh every week. Abby cocked her head when she heard the sounds of people yelling at the television, no doubt a soccer game on the screen. “I think the guys are already here. Mami said the guys would be here but not the wives.”
Frank groaned. “So, they are planning on killing me.”
“For what?” Abby asked innocently.
“You know for what,” Frank growled. “I married their baby sister without them there.”
“But Mami and Papi were there. They can get over it.” Abby raised her hand to knock but Frank stopped her.
“Remember me after I die, love. Don’t fall for anyone else. Especially this asshole,” thumbing back to Johnny. “Be a widow forever.”
“Oh my god, so dramatic.” Abby knocked and smiled. “Love you, Frankie.”
“I’m seriously doubting that right now Cricket.”
The door flew open with Ana on the other side with an apron already on. “Since when do you knock?”
“Since you taught me manners,” Abby replied. She hugged her mother, “Hi Mami.”
“Hola, mi linda (my beauty). Come in! Mi hijo,” she kissed Frank’s cheek. “The boys are in the den with your father. Oh Johnny, Suzie, Scott, I’m so glad you came. Oh, mi corazon (my heart),” as she hugs Mary. “You are getting so big.”
“Abuela! I missed you!” Mary hugged Ana hard. “Is Abuelo here?”
“Is that my Mary?” William came from around the corner and Mary squealed, jumping into his arms. “Oh Nugget, you’ve grown like a foot since Vegas.”
“I have not!” Mary danced around, with Dodger prancing with her.
“To me, you have. Go,” he pointed to the den. “There are some people who want to see you.” Mary took off with Dodger following. William stood up and smiled. “HI, mi hija, Frank.” He gave both of them a hug before shaking hands with the rest of the group. “How was the house?”
“It was good. A little weird,” Abby offered. “But it still felt like home. Frank’s nervous.”
“I’m not nervous, I’m cautious.” William gave him a look. “The guys are gonna kill me.”
William laughed. “They are not. They might try but you make their sister happy and let’s face it, they are more scared of her.”
“Hey fools, apparently our little sister can’t even say hi to us,” a male voice says as the group walks into the living room.
“Mami! Isn’t it polite to greet guests as they come into the house and not make them go to you?” Abby’s eyes sparkle as her brother, Marco, blanches.
Ana comes out with her hands on her hips. “Marco, go get your brothers and come say hello to your hermanita and her family.”
“But Mami...”
“Now! Or vas a ver (you will see).” She reaches down for her foot and Marco practically runs into the other room.
“What the hell,” Johnny mutters under his breath as Scott Frank and Abby laugh. Susie shrugs.
“It's called La Chancla, or the sandal. It’s a Hispanic mother thing. They throw it at the child who annoys them the most. It's usually Marco or Robert for us,” Abby explains. “Frank got it once too, in high school.”
Frank unconsciously rubs the back of his head. “Ana’s got great aim as well.” His back stiffens as Marco and three other men enter the room. “Shit.”
“That’s a quarter Frank,” Mary sings, coming up behind them. “Frank swears a lot and Abby is making him pay for it.”
“Good for her,” the oldest looking at bunch says. “Hi,” turning to the newcomers. “I’m Antonio,” offering his hand to everyone. “This is Robert, Daniel and Marco.”
Abby introduces everyone as Ana ushers everyone to the den. As Frank walks by, Antonio stops him. “We just need to talk to Frankie Boy here for a sec.”
“Tony...”
“Abby princessa, go talk with your friends. We’ll just be a moment.”
“Its ok Cricket.” Frank nods to her. “Love you”.
Abby rolls her eyes and sighs. “Just don’t kill him. I love him too much.” She tosses her curls around and stomps out of the room.
Frank swallows as he looks at his wife’s brothers. His brothers in law. “Guys look...”
“Shut up Franklin,” Antonio growls. “Did you cheat on my sister?”
Frank is stunned. “No. I would never.”
“Then the pictures...”
“Were a set-up from Weiss,” Frank said. “He’s been playing this game with her all because he’s in love with her. Daniel, you remember how he was with her. But I would do anything to protect your sister. I love her so much. She and Mary are my entire world.”
“You married her without us,” Robert said.
“I know. I’m sorry.”
“Are you going to give her a real wedding?” Daniel asked.
“As soon as the season is over. Scott and Abby have already started planning.”
“What about your sister?” Marco looks angrier. He was the closest to Abby since they were only about a year apart.
“The police are looking for her and Weiss. But until they do, Abby will have security when she gets back to work next week. If I’m not with her, someone else is. Scott and Susie have been great keeping her company.”
Antonio crosses his arms. “We’ve always liked you, Frank. But she’s our sister.”
“And I respect that. I do. But when Abby wanted to get married right away, I had to negotiate...”
“Wait,” Daniel stopped him. “She wanted to move that fast?”
Frank nodded. “Yeah, I could barely get her to agree to give me the day so I could get your parents out there.” The look of shock crossed their faces. “Did she not tell you that?”
“No,” Robert said. “I’m going to kill her.” Her other brothers began muttering in Spanish.
“Or,” Frank said, “you could have your revenge.”
Once the drama of the Hernandez boys and Frank was done, which suspiciously took longer than expected, the entire group sat for the lunch Ana had made. “God, I forgot how good your food is Ana,” Frank mumbled with a full mouth.
Abby smacks his arm. “Swallow and then speak, Adler.” She rolled her eyes. “He’s rude but he’s right Mami. I have missed your food.”
“I’ve taught you everything you know, mi hija.” Ana smiled softly at her daughter. “All it takes is practice.”
“Don’t have the time,” Abby replied. “Besides, I can’t do as good a job as you.” She took a bite and looked at her friends. “What do you guys think?”
“It's delicious,” Sue said wiping her mouth. “So much better than some of the restaurants in LA.”
“Agreed,” Johnny said. He saw Mary struggling with a piece of meat and reached over to cut it for her. “You guys coming to the All Star stuff?”
Daniel replied to him, “yeah Frankie Boy sent over tickets for everything. Me and the boys are bringing our girls, except for Marco. He doesn’t have a girl.”
“Shut up,” Marco said. He looked at Susie and blushed a little, bowing his head in embarrassment.
“It should be fun,” Frank said. “I’m in the home run derby this year with Storm.” He and Johnny high-fived. “First time two players from the same team made it in a while.”
Abby smiled and kissed Frank’s cheek. She went to reach for her drink but found it empty. “I’m going to get another. Does anybody want something?”
“Can I get another beer Abbs?” Robert asked.
“Sure.” She got up. As soon as she cleared the doorway, one by one, each of her brothers and Frank train their gazes on the door.
Ana frowned. “What are you up...” A scream broke through the house.
Abby came screaming out and right into Frank’s arms. “Sp-spi-spider!” She screeched. She buried her head into Frank’s chest and began to cry.
“Hey Cricket, its ok,” he sooth.
William got up and went to the pantry and walked back out with a giant spider in his hand. “Antonio!”
“Maybe next time you’ll invite your brothers to your wedding, hermana,” Antonio said.
Abby stopped and looked at Frank. Her eyes became set in fury. “Baby?”
Her head turned as she looked at her oldest brother. “Did you put that spider on the beer fridge handle?” her voice was low and lethal. She got up and started to stalk towards him.
Antonio blanched. “Ok, Abbs, look...” he looked at his brothers. “It was Frank’s idea,”
“The fuck it was! I just said to take your revenge, not scare her half to death.”
The distraction from Frank’s explanation was enough for Abby to launch herself at her bother and throw her arms around his neck and into a choke hold. “You dick!”
Antonio tried to rip her away, but she was stronger now. Robert, Daniel and Marco decided to allow Antonio and Abby have at it.
“Abigail Cecilia! Antonio David! That’s enough!” her father roared. Abby let go; both were breathing heavily. “You would think that your mother and I raised animals.” William sat back down in his chair. “Abigail, go sit.” Abby sat back down. “Now, Tony, apologize to your sister and then clean all of this up. You and your brothers are on clean up duty.” The guys went to protest but William stopped them. “One peep from any of you and you will get a whooping. I don’t care how old you are.”
“Si, papi,” they all mumbled, throwing daggers at Abby.
“Abby, go clean up the back room.”
“But Papi, I didn’t do anything!”
“I don’t care. You behave like animals, I’ll treat you like one. And Frank?” Frank whipped his head towards his father in law. “You help her but if she kills you, no one is going to stop her.” The entire table dissolved into laughter as Frank groaned in his seat.
As Frank and Abby got ready for bed, Frank tried to talk to his wife. “Cricket?”
“I’m not talking to you.”
Frank sighed. “I didn’t tell them to use the spider.”
“But you told them to have revenge.”
“What was I supposed to say? Hey sorry that my wife decided not to call you before she got married. My bad?” Frank grabbed her and put her on his lap. “I’m sorry. I didn’t know. I love you, baby. I’m so, so sorry.”
Abby sighed. “Fine, but no sex for you.”
“But Cricket...”
“No!” She climbed into bed and turned her back on him. “You betrayed me, so no sex for you!” He climbed behind her and pulled her into his chest.
“Are you sure, my love?” He let his hand glide over her stomach. “You won’t let me make you feel good as a way to apologize?” He grazed a hand over her panties. She jerked a little. “So sensitive.” He kissed her below her ear.
Abby gave in with a low moan. “I hate you but you better not stop.”
Frank smiled and began to make his wife feel good. “Never, Cricket, never.”
All Star weekend is a chance for all the players to relax, if not invited to Boston this weekend for the All Star Game. Most of the weekend was dedicated into activities for families and meet-and-greets. Frank had been here before, but this was the first year he was happy too.
As a surprise, Frank had new jerseys for Mary and Scott with his name and number. For Abby, he had “Mrs. Adler” on hers. “Maybe later, you can just wear this,” he whispered to her.
“For my all-star, absolutely.” Abby smiled into the kiss as she put the jersey on over her camisole and jeans.
It was rare when two players from the same team make it to the home run derby. But Frank and Johnny were always the exception and not the rule. Johnny had been laughing too much to take it seriously and dropped out after the first round. Frank on the other hand was proud of his swing. He made it to the face off.
With Bobby Fuller.
When was Frank going to get a break from this asshole?
Frank took his stance as he went to swing away. Out of the 30 pitches he got, he sent 18 out of the park, with three sailing over the Green Monster. Mary had been sitting on the field with the other kids and screamed in joy after each one. Once he was finished, he sat back with the rest of the National League while Bobby went to bat. With the last hit, Frank held his breath. But it was short of the wall, giving Frank the home run title. He had Mary in his arms as he was interviewed.
“So Frank, this has been a big year for you?”
Frank chuckled. “You can say that.”
“New wife, new team. Any other changes coming?”
“Not at the moment. My family and are finally settled in LA and we like it there. Don’t we?” He tickled Mary. She giggled and ducked her head.
“You’re Boston, born and raised. How good does it feel to will the home run title on your home turf?”
Frank took a moment to look around the stadium. “This place raised me and my wife when we were kids, so it always feels good to be back. And yes, winning the title here is amazing. I wouldn’t change it for the world.”
“Congratulations on everything, Frank!”
“Thank you!” He waved to the crowd as he carried Mary off the field.
The next day was the actual game. Frank made a conscious effort to sit away from Bobby and chatted with Johnny and others.
Abby, Scott, Mary and Susie were sitting in the family section, enjoying the game. It wasn’t so serious, mainly because it was for bragging rights and home field advantage during the World Series. “Abby, can I have an ice cream?” Mary was bouncing all over the place.
“Nugget, are you sure you’re not gonna get sick?”
“Nope, promise!”
Abby laughed. “Ok as soon as they come by, we’ll get one.”
“Oh, there is one at the top. Can I go? Please?” Mary gave eyes.
Abby chewed her lip. “Ok, but right there and right back Mary. I’ll keep an eye out.” Mary jumped up and ran up the stairs. Just then, there was a groan that when through the crown. Abby looked back at the game. An outfielder from the American League missed a throw and Frank was running from first to second. The crowd cheered as he slid into the bag, safe. Abby clapped and then turned back.
To find that Mary was nowhere to be seen.
A/N: I know that "La Chancla" is not something that is exclusive to the hispanic community. However, "Abigail" is a hispanic basis character which is where this is coming from. I hope I'm not offending anyone.

hello, i hope you’re doing fine! just read the new chapter of sith and came to banter about it again!!
- i’ve always wondered how colt felt about his little brother being a warrior candidate and i’m so glad you chose to touch on it in this chapter! of course, he would be upset but i also find myself thinking like was he angry or maybe disappointed in marley? because i’m pretty sure that in the first place he thought that him becoming a candidate would be enough to fix his family’s reputation and when he found out that that wasn’t the case, he must’ve been disappointed. it’s so sad to think that the moment colt was born, he kind of became the “savior” of the family and even though i’m sure that his parents love him and everything, they probably saw him as some kind of “pawn” to save themselves. i can imagine colt not wanting the same fate for his baby brother but not being able to do anything about it must be infuriating as hell. i’m sorry i just can’t help but feel awful about colt’s position in his parents’ lives🥲
- i truly enjoyed some heartwarming moments with y/n’s parents in this chapter, it was just so sweet🥺🥺 and we can now see that her mom is starting to get used to colt’s presence in her life, hopefully she’ll warm up to him a bit more!
- i must admit that nursery rhyme was so clever on your part. anyone who deals with some sort of anxiety knows the urgency to indulge into something familiar. y/n having a comfort rhythm hits too close to home.
- MY FAVORITE PART in the entire chapter was the banter between our fav trio😭 I JUST LOVE THEM SO MUCH. when they were talking about falco having a crush on gabi and friedrich coughing knowingly?? i died, that was soooooo funny. following that colt talking about cordelia and friedrich almost choking?? sooooo funny😭 and when y/n said that she would prefer spending her days with two of them even if she were a queen… i melted. i just want to protect them at all costs
- i absolutely loved your descriptions of the little warrior candidates, they were PERFECT. i was smiling the whole time i was reading that part. “a devilish grin compared to falco’s angelic frown” is a perfect way to describe gabi! gabi and falco truly compliment each other because they are literally the opposite. why are the grice boys so sweet😭 y/n mistaking gabi for alice was so fucking sad… my mood went down immediately after reading that.
to be honest, this was one of my favorite recent chapters! after the athyaen war, everything got a bit darker and i’m sure that it’s going to get even more darker, and i’m not complaining! but i just loved reading some light stuff and y/n being with her favorite people in the world and showing affection🥰 i also must say that i love your writing. the dialogues, the descriptions… it’s easy to read but descriptive when necessary. another amazing chapter🥰
HII!! I’m doing well. Or at least as well as I can considering it’s winter and I hate the cold 😭 but I love banter so I was happy to get another long ask :)
- colt’s relationship with his family always makes me so sad because like he really has had no other choice and he’s just so kind that he doesn’t even complain, he genuinely wants to save them (esp falco) and the fact that he can’t protect falco from being a candidate while knowing what the candidates go through is so hard for him. and i agree with what you said about his parents!! i actually think it was mentioned somewhere in the first chapter of sith let me find it
“This isn’t news to them. They’ve always been more hands-off with me; I’m their sacrificial lamb, remember? Falco’s the one they really care about; though, to be fair, it’s almost impossible to not care about Falco. Anyways, as I was saying, they’ve had years to prepare for this day. I promise you, they’re not upset about any of this,” he said.
that was when they were waiting to hear about who got into the candidacy program and y/n was telling her father to stop crying lol simpler times 😢 but yes although colt’s parents don’t dislike him and certainly love him, they’ve always kind of been resigned to his eventual death so they were just never as close with him as y/n’s parents are with her if that makes sense.
- speaking of her parents, i’m glad you like them!! i didn’t want to go the typical dead/absent parent route that’s so common in fics, but i wanted them to be realistic, too. i try to make them have typical human reactions to things like their daughter not coming home when she said she would, although at the same time, y/n isn’t exactly a typical kid, she’s a highly trained soldier, which is hard for her parents to balance. honestly i feel so bad for them because they deserve better…then again who doesn’t in this fic HAHAHA
- thank you!! i wanted to show that she’s doing her best to find coping mechanisms, and even if they’re not foolproof, they help at least a little. slowly but surely she’s finding a new sort of normal which is super important i think. this arc (which is actually almost finished!) and the next are mostly about the trio recovering from athyae so there’ll be a lot of finding little things that help them get through each day. i think a lot of the time the lasting impacts of things like war are glossed over in fiction and for some stories it works but ship in the harbor is one where i really want to show the effects it has on the characters! although there’s a lot of plot in the story, it’s also very internal/character focused, so i thought it didn’t make sense for y/n to do what she did in athyae and just bounce back immediately and be perfectly fine yk?? which is why there’s literally going to be ten chapters of just her mental state improving (amongst other things ofc)
- HAHAHA I MISSED THE TRIO TBH!! the three of them haven’t been together for a while, and the last time was on the train from athyae to liberio so y/n was in a VERY different headspace — it was immediately after her mirror-destroying mental breakdown LMAOO so there was minimal room for banter there. but they’re back with a vengeance now and thank goodness 😭 FRIEDRICH IS GENUINELY MY FAV CHARACTER EVER i think the way he’s the biggest y/n x colt shipper while simultaneously being totally in love with y/n is the funniest thing. the scenes with him and colt together are so much fun to write because they feed off of each other in such a strange way. honestly i think that the only time the boys act their ages is when they’re together which is so personal to me 😩 they really are best friends!! AND THEN YOU ADD IN Y/N AND IT’S JUST EVERY EMOTION POSSIBLE UGH I LOVE THEM TOO (but that won’t stop me from making them suffer)
- the little warrior candidates are so cute tbh!! i had a lot of fun describing them. even just through their looks i think you can tell a lot about their personalities! and i realized the alice/gabi parallels while writing and it made me so upset 😐 and the way alice was always jealous of y/n and now gabi idolizes her for being the “hero of athyae”…also the way y/n literally hates how she was in athyae and now she’s famous for it KILLS ME like no one is ever going to let her forget about it because they all think it’s so badass that she literally took down an entire country. meanwhile every time someone mentions athyae she gets actual flashbacks and has to leave 😭
- THE GRICES ARE THE SWEETEST BOYS EVER i think it was so funny when gabi was kind of shit talking colt and he was just like 😊 the entire time. canonically (i think it was mentioned as a fun fact at some point? which i just realized i didn’t do one for this chapter lol rip) all three of the trio are good with children but i think colt LIKES kids the most. he’d be such a good father one day ugh what a shame isayama killed him off 😒 keeping it undercover whether i’ll go the canon route w him or not 😁
this chapter felt like a breath of fresh air after everything w athyae and it was nice to write! i think that the impact of the more angsty/darker scenes is lessened when there’s no happiness to balance it out. for example — to me at least — hadrian and y/n’s ending was so much worse because we saw how happy she was with the amatas. that’s why i like showing occasional moments of happiness and lightheartedness with the trio!! it just makes it hurt more to read while knowing what’s to come 😈 and yes sith will get dark again soon (about six chapters from now, so the remaining chapter of this arc and then all of the next arc), but for now it should be pretty relaxing — more chapters like this one! because we all need time to decompress and recover from the entire defeat of athyae arc. also there just really won’t be many more “downtime” chapters after the next arc so i’m putting it all in now so that i don’t feel as bad about pretty much solely causing the trio trauma for like 65 chapters straight
AHH i’m so happy to hear you like my writing style! sith has been my longest ongoing story so it’s seen a huge evolution in my style, and i’m sure as i continue to write it will continue to evolve (we’re only about a quarter of the way through the story so it’ll definitely be some time before it’s finished which leaves plenty of room for development and improvement) the difference between the beginning and latest/ending chapters of the story will only grow, but i’m pretty happy with my style atm. i don’t like sounding pretentious or poetic for the sake of sounding poetic if that makes sense?? like i think some writers focus more on how pretty a sentence sounds instead of how functional it is, and although i do love pretty sentences, i think it’s important to also have them make sense and be comprehensible. i also love writing dialogue haha i think that’s what i get complimented on the most!! it’s just very fun for me to imagine entire conversations in my head…tbh sometimes writing dialogue feels more like i’m just transcribing what the characters are saying more than i am making something entirely knew up as weird as that sounds HAHA. but i’m glad you liked the chapter and thank you for reading!!

Fandom: Criminal Minds Pairings: Aaron Hotchner/Female Reader Word Count: 2,738 Tags: 18+, NSFW, Teasing, Daddy kink, Soft dom/sub, Cockwarming (+ unsafe driving practices), Oral fixation, Unprotected sex, Choking, Spit kink, Come marking Summary: You piss off Aaron at work, he's harsh about it, and you're both upset on the flight back. At home, you're desperate to connect and give each other what you need. *Requested by @ssahotchie :) Link to A03 or read below! “I don’t see why you’re making such a big deal out of this,” you say when you and Aaron are back at the hotel packing up your stuff. “It was innocent.”
“It was not innocent, and you know it. There’s nothing innocent about nibbling on my ear and rubbing my thigh in a fucking police precinct.”
Well he’s got you there. Your intentions were most certainly to tease him and make him hard, so he would be praying for the flight to end quickly so he could drag you to your bedroom and do dirty things to you. Admittedly, sometimes your libido gets the best of you.
“Okay, so it wasn’t innocent, but no harm was done. When that detective caught me, she laughed.” Aaron is very much not laughing.
“No harm was done to you, but apparently you forget that I have a reputation to uphold. I’m known in a lot of these law enforcement offices, if not by face than by name, and I don’t need you teasing me, undermining my authority, and being inappropriate.”
You feel that like a slap to the face; you set your jaw, exhale through your nose, and shove your shit into your go bag, and when you’re packed you throw it onto the floor, walk into the bathroom, and slam the door behind you.
You’re looking in the mirror and willing yourself not to cry. Yes, teasing him is fun, being a little shit is fun, but disappointing him is not fun, and you feel like a huge fucking disappointment right now. You feel like a pain in the ass, like a dumb slut who has no regard for what he wants or needs, who only wants to get fucked. It’s humiliating.
After a couple minutes, Aaron knocks on the door. “Time to go, baby.” You take a deep breath and open the door, walk over to your bag and throw it over your shoulder, not making eye contact. You wait for him to catch up, and he puts his hand on the small of your back, turns you to face him. “I’m sorry. I was a little harsh.” You frown and shake your head, holding it high in hopes you’ll trick your stupid brain into thinking you’re not some huge fuck up, a huge mistake.
“No, you were right. You don’t need me ruining your reputation.” He closes his eyes, sighs, and you open the door, gather with the rest of the team in the lobby. They don’t know what happened, but you’re sure it’s obvious that you and Aaron are not in a good place right now. No one tries to talk to you or joke with you, and you sit by yourself on the plane, earbuds in with nothing playing. You stare out the window and wonder what this means for the rest of your day, your week. Your life. When you land, Aaron grabs both of your bags and throws them in the back of the car. You slink into the passenger’s seat, move to buckle in, but he stops you with a gentle hand on yours.
“Are you angry, or sad?” You smile, just a little, because of the fact that’s a question he even knows to ask. He knows you so well, it hurts sometimes.
“Sad. I hate disappointing you,” you say, and your voice cracks a little. It’s easier to hold back your emotions when you don’t speak. He lifts his hand, runs it over your cheek, pulls you close for a soft kiss.
“You didn’t disappoint me. You’re my good girl, you’re perfect.” You close your eyes and lean into his palm.
“I’m not.”
“Do you want to be?” You open your eyes, swallow, make eye contact; his gaze is soft, but serious, and beautiful as always.
“Yes, daddy. More than anything.” He nods, opens his belt and unzips his pants. You lick your lips, second nature at this point, and your eyes move from his face to his cock—now exposed, half hard—and then back to his face. You must look uncertain, because he brushes a thumb over your lips.
“I just want you to put your mouth on me and stay there, until we get home, okay? First step to being daddy’s good girl is just keeping me warm and wet with your sweet little mouth.” You say a silent thanks to the FBI for its heavily tinted windows and lean over the center console, hold him still, and wrap your lips around him.
He knows how it makes you feel to have your mouth full—be it full of his cock or his fingers or your fingers or a toy—how your mouth is like a direct line to both your heart and your pussy that is unlike any other erogenous zone on your entire body. It makes you feel happy, and good, and useful, and cared for, so much more than just an oral fixation; you’re sure that’s why this is step one, because you will be soft and fuzzy and pleased with yourself by the time you make it home, no longer embarrassed by your behavior or wounded by his words.
He pets your head when he can, murmurs, perfect and good girl and so good for daddy, and you moan softly, occasionally, sounds of contentment more than pleasure. Once or twice, he moves his hand to your ass, squeezes, and you moan louder, wanting to bob on his cock, but he reminds you to stay still with a hand on the back of your neck; you want to please him more than anything, so you do.
After he pulls into his parking spot and turns off the car, he tilts your head so your cheek is pressed to his thigh, and you look up at him, your eyes unfocused but full of gratitude and love. He brushes your hair back, takes his cock in his hand and slides it out of your mouth, and you groan softly at the loss.
“Good girl. So incredible for daddy. I need you, you know that? Need my perfect girl.”
“I need you, daddy,” you rasp, and you sit up, and he takes your face in his hands and kisses your soft, wet lips.
“I know you do, and I’m going to give you what you want. Let’s get inside, okay, angel?” Again, he grabs both of your bags, and he puts his arm around your waist, helps you get inside, since you’re a little hazy from keeping your mouth on him for so long.
He gets you a drink of water, then guides you to the bedroom, sits you back on the bed and slowly, lovingly removes your clothes. You brush your fingers through his hair, just stare at him, happy and horny and very in love.
“Do you want to undress me, or do you just want to watch?” he asks, and you slide off the bed, sink to your knees, and take off his shoes and socks and pants while he works on his tie and the buttons of his shirt. When you’re both naked, he pulls the comforter down and lays you back against the sheets, leans in to kiss your throat, your cheeks, and then he puts his fingers inside you, to make sure you’re ready for more than that.
“I’m ready, daddy, ready,” you whisper, but he moves them inside you to decide for himself, because sometimes you’re so horny you say you’re ready when you really aren’t, and then it hurts. You don’t mind when it hurts, but Aaron likes you to be prepared, so you try to be patient.
When he decides you’re ready, he spreads your thighs wide, gets on his knees, and pulls you closer, lines the head of his cock up at your entrance and presses in. You moan, because you’ve been wanting to feel this all damn day, and then he slips his wet fingers into your mouth, gets his other hand on your hip, and starts to thrust.
“Beautiful, baby, so good and sweet for daddy. Perfect angel.” His voice is tense with arousal, his face a gorgeous combination of concentration and pleasure; you move your hips, pressing your thighs against his, taking his deep, slow thrusts to the next level, and he pulls his fingers out of your mouth, holds your waist tightly, moves a little quicker.
“Oh, yes daddy,” you breathe, your hands on his forearms, your tits bouncing and your body sliding back and forth across the bed. “Feels so good, so good. Fuck me, fuck my body, daddy.” He groans, and his grip on your waist gets tighter; he’s really pounding you now, and you’re breathing heavily, but you want something more, something you can’t reach yet but that’s at the edge of your mind, on the tip of your tongue.
“That’s right, good girl, daddy’s fucking your soft little body. Filling you up with his hard cock. You love that, angel; this is what you wanted earlier, isn’t it? When you were teasing daddy? You just wanted to be fucked, filled up with cock like the good girl you are, and daddy wasn’t nice. I’m sorry, baby, I love you.”
“It’s okay, daddy, love you, daddy. I shouldn’t have been inappropriate but I wanted you to get hard and think of me.” He hums, moves a hand to your thigh and the other to your throat, squeezes tightly. You arch off the bed, up into his hand, whimper and move your hips faster, more desperately. “Oh, god, oh, yeah.” You groan, tense, and come, digging your nails into his forearms, and he grunts as you quake around him, letting up on your throat just a little.
“There’s daddy’s girl, coming so hard. Good girl. So wet for me now.” You absolutely are, you can hear the sounds of his cock moving in and out of you very clearly, and it makes you feel hot and dirty and eager for more: but more what?
Your question is answered when he leans forward, sucks on one of your nipples, then pulls back and dribbles some spit on it, rubs his hand roughly over it when it’s damp.
Jesus Mary and Joseph. New challenge unlocked: get this sexy fucking man to soak you in his spit.
“Oh, oh, please, please,” you babble, and he spreads his spit to your other nipple, lets a little more drip off of his tongue. “Oh god, oh, please.” He sucks it, then looks up at you, because you’re clearly losing your fucking mind.
“What is it, angel? What do you want from daddy?” He squeezes your neck again, and you whine high in your throat, can feel your wetness soaking your ass and the sheets beneath you; you want to be wet all over, a mess all over, you want him to fill your pussy and your mouth, you want him inside you in every way. You whine again.
“Spit on me daddy. My tummy and my tits,” you plead, and his eyes get dark and he swirls his tongue around a nipple, spits on it, moves to the other side and does the same. Your chest is heaving, drenched, filthy, and he changes the angle so he can drip some into your belly button, too. He’s higher up for that, and you can see a string of spit falling from his mouth as he does it, and you move a hand to your throbbing pussy and rub it, moaning like an absolute whore.
“You like that, baby? You like when daddy spits on you? You like being a dirty slut, covered in daddy, filled by daddy?” You nod as best as you can with his hand on your throat, your mouth open, panting, and he gets a glimmer in his eye that makes you even fucking wetter. He slides his hand up from your throat to your jaw, squeezes, and leans over your body, presses his lips to your slack mouth for a kiss. “Open wide, good girl.”
You shiver, whimper, and open your mouth, and you can see him rolling his tongue, collecting spit; you moan on repeat like a broken record, your fingers beating your clit, his cock pounding your pussy, and you start to come again just as he presents you with a tongue coated in spit, as he pours it into your mouth, stringy and slick and thick and everything you didn’t know you needed.
You tip your head back, swallow, and your eyes roll a little as your orgasm only continues to build. He leans in for a wet, sloppy kiss, groans against your mouth, and then pulls back and spits again, this time onto your closed lips, so it rolls down your chin, your throat. You swipe your tongue over your bottom lip, sigh happily, and Aaron comes, pumping inside you a few times and then pulling out to let the rest coat your thighs.
You have never been so thoroughly debauched, your body trembling, sticky and shiny and covered in a multitude of fluids, and Aaron climbs off the bed, making you whimper at the loss.
“Be right back, baby,” he assures, so you just raise your arms over your head, sigh, so content; when he comes back, he kneels on the bed, holds his phone over you, and takes a picture. You laugh softly, surprised.
“Okay, and what’s that all about?” you ask as he crowds in next to you, rubs his fingers gently over your jaw, your throat, where he’d been rough.
“This is an image I won’t let myself soon forget, but just in case my imagination is failing me one day, I need to have a backup.” You huff a laugh, pull him close for a kiss, and he tosses his phone toward the end of the bed, holds you closer. “I’m sorry about earlier. I could stand to be a little less uptight. I wasn’t thinking about how my words could affect you, and I didn't mean them anyway. I do need you, inappropriate and teasing me, or any other way you chose to be. I love you.”
“I love you too, but I’m also sorry. There’s a time and a place for what I did, and the precinct wasn’t it. I wasn’t thinking of how my actions could affect you, or your reputation.” You brush a hand through his hair, look into his perfect, gorgeous eyes, and sigh. “Besides, the only place I want you to have a bad reputation is here in this bed with me. I like that you’re a gentleman in the streets and a nasty, choking, spitting, fucking machine in the sheets. Really gets me going, when you’re standing there all pressed and proper in your expensive suits and I know you’re probably thinking about pulling my hair and railing me on the nearest surface.” He hums, nods like you’re a little silly, but you know deep down he loves it.
“I am thinking about that most of the time,” he says with a smile, and you kiss and get cleaned up and change the sheets, and then you curl up on your stomach, his heavy body on top of you, all around you, and fall blissfully asleep. A little less than a week later, you’re on a case, and Aaron thinks the unsub would open up to you, if you’re up for it. He gives everyone directions, but asks you to hang back a moment, which is not unusual; he’ll do that to everyone before an interrogation, to go over his expectations, warnings.
The two of you are in the conference room, your makeshift workspace, alone, when he steps up to you, towering over you, and wraps his fingers around your chin. He presses one soft, gentle kiss to your lips, and then says, “open up for daddy.”
Your eyes get wide, but you do as instructed, and he spits on your tongue, then gives you an open-mouthed, filthy kiss.
“For luck,” he says, humor in his eyes, because he can see how all of that delicious nonsense has affected you. He smacks you on the ass and tells you he’ll be watching, lets you go.
You make that unsub your bitch and get a confession in five minutes flat. Everyone asks what’s gotten into you to make you such a... spitfire, but you’ll never tell.
Except Garcia. You’re definitely telling Garcia. Taglist ❤️: @arsonhotchner @mrsh0tchner @ssahotchie @sleepyreaderreads @mintphoenix @meghannnnnn @disgruntledchowchow @azenpal @g-l-pierce @my-rosegold-soul

Unbreakable Bond
(A/N): This is based on this post and this tiktok
Summary: A big age gap between Aaron's children doesn't have to mean that they are unable to form a strong bond
Warnings: Mentions of Haley's death and failed relationships

_________________________________
His life took turns Aaron never expected. It’s not the “Oh, mh, well that was unexpected”-type of turns, I talk about the “God played Cards Against Humanity with angels and decided to make it happen for someone”-type. But looking back he would not want to change a thing.
After Haley and Beth he was convinced that God, the Universe, something out there shared the opinion that romantic love isn’t the right thing for him and Aaron accepted that fact. Even more when he and Jack went into witness protection. I mean, when you are worried about the life of your family being in danger because of a stalker, you don’t think about the beautiful neighbor, who lives next door, right? Right?
Well, without going into too much detail, Hotch did think about her and she about him and vice versa. Everything went good until Aaron received the message that the team found the stalker and that it was safe to come back. He decided to come clean to his girlfriend. They talked about the possibility of moving back to Quantico.
In the end they decided in favor of the move, the final argument was the surprising announcement of her being pregnant. Hotch wants to raise their youngest where his and Jack’s roots are located. But he decides against taking a position at the BAU, instead taking a desk job in order to be more at home. He also has the opportunity to work from home after little (Y/N) was born and continues to do so until she is old enough to go to Kindergarten. Even then he takes two days the week where he stays home. Aaron learned from his decisions and mistakes he made in the past and wants to live up to them and be a better father and husband than before.
And Hotch keeps it to this day, six years later. It’s (Y/N)’s first day of school, while Jack just graduated high school and goes off to college in a few weeks. Even though they have an age gap from twelve and a half years, their parents are sure there are no other siblings with such a strong bond.
Ever since his baby sister’s birth Jack is her biggest supporter, protector and friend. Her first word was his name, though it was more of a “ACK!”, but that’s the best nickname he ever got. As soon as (Y/N) was old enough to comprehend the concept of movies, he introduced her to Star Wars. Since then lightsaber wars out of cardboard pipes are not uncommon. Last Halloween they even dressed up as Chewbakka and Han Solo. You get three guesses on who was who.
“JACK!” (Y/N) runs into her big brother’s room with an excited expression on her face. “Daddy promised to buy me a real lightsaber after I read ten books! With lights and sounds and all! Isn’t that cool?” Jack smiles. Aaron did a similar thing with him. For a certain amount of books he got a reward they discussed beforehand. This way he felt motivated to read and improved writing and reading skills.
“This is awesome. I think that means we have to go book shopping together, what do you think?” (Y/N) is not only the cool kid that has an older brother, she is also the cool kid, whose older brother has a drivers license, a car and a part time job. She nods with big eyes, speechless, because the offer sounds like heaven to her. Getting books and one on one time with Jack after he was really busy with school for weeks? This has to be heaven.
“Ok, then you put your outside clothes on and I’ll tell Dad about our plan.” At that the little girl rushes to her room, not wanting to waste any more time. Jack makes his way down to the kitchen, where Aaron wipes the table from lunch down.
“Dad, I take (Y/N) to this bookstore in DC and we’ll probably go eat ice cream after that. Is that alright?” Hotch looks up at his son. It still feels like yesterday as he told Haley that Gideon is a big no as a baby name. Now he is all grown up and just a few weeks away from the next big chapter in his life.
“Of course, just let me get my wall-” Jack cuts him off. “No need, I want to use this as a kind of goodbye thing. At least until Thanksgiving.” Aaron knows what he means. It’s his last day before he goes off to college and just a couple more until the first classes begin. The family still hasn’t told their youngest exactly what’s going on. Else she would refuse to go to school and go on with her day, insisting on using all the time they have until Jack drives off.
Two hours later the siblings leave the bookstore, both of them having a bag in their hands. Of course Jack's heavier, but both he and the cashier assured (Y/N) that they lift the same amount of weight.
“Uncle Spence will be excited when I tell him that I read Harry Potter, he told me so many good things about it”, the girl gushes. Jack nods, indicating that he is listening. Of course they also picked books that are not that advanced. Still, no sister of his shall grow up without knowing the beauty of the wizarding world. Also, secretly he is hoping for her to turn out as nerdy as he is so they get more things to talk about. His next step is superheroes, especially the Marvel ones.
They converse until they get to an ice cream parlor and order both their usuals. “Do you think you are ready for me to tell you something important?” The older one asks after they sit down at a table. (Y/N) nods, confusion taking over her face.
“Uhm, you know how I graduated from high school? I’m done with school, but I want to get a degree, but for that I have to go to college. It’s pretty far away so I can’t come home for a few months. But I’m back home when Thanksgiving is and also for Christmas.” It doesn’t matter what Jack says, a sad frown has formed on the little one’s face. “Oh. And after Christmas, will you leave again?” He nods and explains when he is off from college and when not.
“We can always skype and write letters. How does that sound? And when you get your first phone, we can even text.” That (Y/N) lights up a bit. For her first year of school she got a stationary set and is eager to use it to this day.
“I’m going to miss you so much”, she says hugging her big brother. Jack pats her back. “I’ll miss you, too.”
The goodbye the next day is a heartfelt matter. Everybody cries, especially (Y/N). She can’t fathom a scenario where her brother isn’t there for her all the time.
The following weeks are also hard for the family. The youngest refuses to sleep alone for the first three days after Jack’s leave. She is more closed off and mainly just does her school work or reads the books he bought for her. By the time Thanksgiving is only away for another two weeks, (Y/N) has read through all of them at least two times.
Her father already ordered the lightsaber he promised her. Unfortunately shipping takes several months, so the little girl still has to wait patiently for her reward to arrive. In the meantime she works on getting the next and she is already pretty close to the comic book collection she wants.
“Sweetheart, can you set the table, please? Your Mom will be here soon from grocery shopping and she will need help getting them from the car into the house”, Hotch calls for his daughter while stirring in a pot.
The little girl nods, putting her stationary set and pens aside to do as her father asked. She is in the middle of answering her brother’s last letter, telling him that she is now the one that usually has to read aloud for the class because of her advanced skill for a first grader.
Just as she sets the last piece of silverware down the doorbell rings. “Sweetie, can you please open it? This should be your mother.” Happily (Y/N) runs up and turns the door knob. Over the last few months she hit a small growing spurt and is finally tall enough to reach it without standing on her tippy toes.
“Mo-” She nearly chokes on her own saliva. The one at the door is definitely not her mother. “JACK!” (Y/N) runs up to him and jumps onto his leg. “Hey Princess. I thought now that you read your books, we need to hold the most amazing lightsaber fight in history.” With a mischievous smile he pulls two from his back, giving one to his baby sister.
It is the most epic fight in history between an elementary schooler and a college boy. They can only be stopped by their parents announcing that it is a tie between both of them and that they have to sit down, else the food gets cold.
The following weeks mostly consist of (Y/N)’s joyous laughs and cuddling with her big brother. She even insists on him sleeping with her in her much smaller bed. On his last night before going back to college, the little girl turns to him in the middle of watching her favorite movie in the living room.
“Do you promise not to forget me when you are away? Because I alway think about you and tell my friends so much about you. I told them you are a hero, my hero, just like Daddy. They wanna meet you because of that.” Jack has to hold back tears at her statement.
“I also think of you so much. All of my friends at college are pretty jealous of me having such a sweet baby sister. Maybe one time you can visit me and I can introduce you to them.” The thought of that makes (Y/N) smile and is a little consolation to the thought of her brother leaving again.
Aaron watches the interaction going down, happy to see the strong bond between his children, despite their age gap. This is nothing like he and Sean were and that is a relief for him and the worries he had in the beginning. It is a sign that he did do some things right as a father.

Xiao and Diluc: Opposites Attract HCs
Xiao
It occurs to Xiao one day that despite being alive for centuries, he doesn’t know a lot of people. Xiao has only known Rex Lapis and his fellow adepti and only just recently introduced this life to others such as Verr and Ming. It never bothered him and still doesn’t, he prefers his life to be peaceful and in solitude since it’s safer that way, but when you crash into his life with all your unrestrained energy. He’s a bit of a loss for words. The only other person he knows that acts similar is Guizhong, but it’s still a bit of a troubling memory but either then that, he’s never interacted with someone so...open with their feelings. Though he supposes that Hu Tao was somewhat similar but in a different way. Unlike the craziness and exasperated actions that Hu Tao brought, your presence was a breath of fresh air and sometimes he found himself caught up in your antics.
When Xiao thinks about it, if he were to ever find love he suspected he would prefer someone who was calm and independent. He wasn’t the most affectionate so he wouldn’t want a partner that relied on that and he liked the peace and quiet the inn provided. That was until he saved you one day and you felt it was your absolute responsibility to return the favour, even though he told you many times that you really did not need to. If you wanted to return the favour you could leave him alone. Simple as that. Which didn’t work and in hindsight he was glad you were so stubborn to hang around until you managed to find out his favourite food was almond tofu.
The moment that set in stone Xiao’s love for you is when he told you his past. When he was named Atalus. How he had been possessed and forced to kill against his will. How he devoured dreams and lived in agony before he was saved by Rex Lapis. He was scared that you would fear and leave him, only for you to slowly lace your hands with his and wept for his own misfortune. He’s never had someone cry for him and he realized that he never wanted to see you upset like this again.
At first your larger than life personality put him off a bit, how could someone run through life as if nothing was wrong? What would happen if you finally faced loss? Wouldn’t that make things worse? It wasn’t until he spent more time with you that he saw your point of view, that while he couldn’t adopt the same idea, he respected it and began to appreciate it. It was nice having some sort of solace in his day even if it was just for a few minutes. Something to get his mind of the darker things while you start chatting about this really nice old lady with a domain sized teapot.
Though, there was a bit of a downside to this. Since you bared your heart on your sleeve, perhaps in Mondstadt it would seem normal but here in Liyue, everyone hid behind some kind of mask so people found you a bit naïve and would try and hassle you. It always sent Xiao into a worried state when you left the inn to go out on your next adventure. Verr likes to compare him to a cat waiting for it’s owner at the door, but as soon as they return he acts so moody as if he wasn’t waiting at the balcony trying to see if he could see your clothing peak over the hill. He has no idea how she comes up with these ridiculous ideas.
Another “downside” Xiao discovers is that you have mini bursts of affection. You describe it as a those anemo slimes that pop when you shoot them, morbid as that description is, you’re not wrong. Your bursts of affection always manage to startle and embarrass Xiao, especially when he was with others. He wasn’t going to tell you to change yourself, never will he do that, but when you clasp his hands and tell him with all your love and shining eyes that he’s “doing such a good job” and “you’re so proud of him”. He wants to melt because wow, he never noticed how much he values your praise and how it sends his heart flying. But he can’t because Childe and Zhongli are right there.
Zhongli smiles pleasantly while Childe looses his absolute shit, which causes Xiao to kick his spear at Childe because he refuses to let go of your hands and hisses at him. Even when you try and scold him it doesn’t last long because this has become a weekly occurrence. Only now Xiao will give you a quick kiss before he goes off to gut Childe while you and Zhongli wave pleasantly and talk about how the weather is faring. Everyone that isn’t a native to Liyue think’s you’re all insane as they hear Childe’s screams as Xiao attempts first degree murder.
It interesting to see you both interact to outsiders. Xiao has his piercing yellow eyes and reserved demeanor while you’re this sweet and bright person. Before Xiao met you, people could never get a good look at the mysterious man that stays in the top balcony of the Wangshu Inn. But now if they came at the right time, they could spot a soft smiled man in green listening to a very animated talk with someone else, using their hands with a dramatic flair. That is until the man notices them trying to eavesdrop and the softness in his eyes drops and goes to irritation as he glares at them, curling a hand around his partner’s waist, and he let’s off a warning growl. His partner never seems bothered, only turning around to give a small wave in greeting, smiling as if the dangerous aura radiating behind them didn’t exist, before giving the man a small kiss as they go back to their conversation.
While you live a larger than life way, you also enjoy the small moments with Xiao. Xiao prefers to spend his time sitting above the inn and overlooking Liyue which you enjoy too. Resting near each other as you watch the sun go down is calming and takes the stress of life away. But sometimes you just want to bring Xiao out and have some fun.
Which ends up with you dragging him off to the pond near the Wangshuu inn, you wanted to catch frogs for whatever reason. Weren’t you both a bit too old to be playing with frogs? But he stands by and watch's you chase around the poor animals, tracking mud all over your clothing and skin, he can’t help but let a small smile slip. It isn’t until you end up falling into the pond after slipping that he’s on alert mode that he runs over worried.
Only for you to pop up and start bursting out into laughter. Xiao is stunned for a few moment as he watches you laugh at your own mistake, mud scrapped all over your face and clothes, the fact that you’re still in the pond with a frog on your head. He can’t help but feel his face fall as his mouth twitches into a smile as he chuckles along with you. He reaches over to try and scrub the dirt off your face but it only ends up smearing it more but you appreciate the effort. He carefully lifts you up as he carries you back to the inn. He thinks back to when you both first met, how he spent so much time worrying over his life as an adeptis and you as a human, but now those thoughts have been flung out of his mind. He wants to take your approach, that why worry over the little details of the future when you can enjoy the bigger moments you have now.
Diluc
On days that Diluc works as the bartender for Angel Share, if you come at just the right time when the sun was still high in the sky, you might be able to catch the ever distant man smiling and engaged with a conversation with one specific patron. Of course, this silly “rumour” was made up by the ladies of Mondstadt with too much free time on their hands but given Diluc’s reputation and demeanor it did make some travelers curious. Only for them to write it off as this special patron to be a green bard or cunning captain. One that Diluc surely did not crack a smile at. In fact it seemed to be the opposite. But the tavern isn’t so bad, there’s this nice individual that will listen to all your sorrows with kind eyes and a gentle heart.
As soon as the last customer leaves and Diluc locks the door, does he let his shoulder drop and he breathes a sigh of relief. Before turning and walking to you as he let’s himself relax in your embrace. He listens as you re-tell on the woes of a jewelry saleswoman from Liyue to how Venti is still getting ID checked at the Cat’s Tail as he basks in your warmth. He’s glad that this is what’s troubling the people of Mondstadt and not anything incredibly dangerous relating to the Fatui or the Abyss Order. He asks if you’re doing alright to which you grin and nod that everything was perfect, before placing a small kiss on your forehead and he leads you out back and into the night and ready to return home.
Kaeya finds a lot of enjoyment going to up to you and discussing his “concerns” about Diluc. It always leads to you fretting over his health and if he was working too hard and he should take a break. Diluc is whipped and cannot say no to you so he always begrudgingly let’s you lead him away as Kaeya smiles and waves him off. It’s gotten to the point that no matter what Diluc is in the middle of, unless it’s of the upmost importance, if he catches Kaeya anywhere near you he’s swooping in and leading you away.
Diluc has always been straight to the point, non-nonsense idle talk, but when you drag him away to simply lie down at Starsnatch Cliff just because you were worried about him, he can’t help but feel his heart warm. Watching you blow on dandelions and enjoy the peaceful winds of Mondstadt does he let his hectic life standstill.
When Diluc first met you, it was during his three year long journey to discover the truth of his father and the Delusions. You had saved him during his escape from a Fatui stronghold and explained you were apart of a third-party observer from the North. A vast underground intelligence network that approved of his actions and wanted him to join. Diluc, still deep in his anger and untrustworthy state of anyone, declined the offer but you still hanged around him. He didn’t understand why, and frankly did not want you anywhere near him, but you did save him. Something you very much liked to bring up, even after returning to Mondstadt. He couldn’t necessarily push you away and despite leaving the Knights of Favonius, he still maintained the same chivalry that all knights had.
From then on it had just been the two of you, him looking for the next Fatui base while you travelled with him as an “observer” despite helping him and being overly chatty. Asking where the next destination is like you’re some sort of overeager kid. At first, he really disliked your presence. A lot. In his mind you were a second Kaeya and after the events of what had happened, he might have been far colder to you than he should have been. He thought you were hiding behind the same kind of mask Kaeya did and that you were secretly some Fatui agent sent to kill him. But that never seemed to deter you, even making fun of the idea that the Fatui would seriously try and send an agent to con him rather than try and kill him outright with all the information he had on them.
You both had your clashes when it came to certain things, especially when it came to taking breaks and sightseeing. He felt that you were way too relaxed for something so important and you felt he was way to uptight and needed to stop running through life. But overtime, he found that he actually somewhat enjoyed your personality and quirks. While you could kick a Fatui’s guard head off if you tried hard enough, you would also drag him to feed the ducks by a pond. He had come to learn that you and Kaeya were different, you didn’t wear a mask and bared your heart to the world. He thought you were a bit foolish for doing that since you can never really trust anyone but you instead offered that not everyone was a bad person, that if he spent every waking moment trying to backstab someone would that really be a life worth living?
It’s during the lantern festival in Liyue does he really come to understand his goals in life. Writing down wishes for the new year to send off in paper lanterns is when he acknowledges his shortcomings and finally agrees to join the underground intelligence network. You offer him a bright grin as you cheer that he finally finally got off his stubborn self and you’re now officially partners in not-really-but-still-technically crime. For the first time since Diluc started his journey, he gives a small smile and let’s himself relax as he watched the golden lanterns fly through the sky beside you.
When he decides it’s time to return to Mondstadt and take up his position as Diluc Ragnvindr, he tries to not so subtly ask if you would want to join him. He knows that you still have ties to that secret organization and you probably have your own agenda but Diluc has gotten used to your bubbly personality, he doesn’t want to live without you. But his worries are quickly squashed when you tease him for a bit but slip your hand in his and ask where the next destination is.
---
Gripping my writing hand, I went overboard and ran with it. I really want to write pre-hcs of how you met Xiao and a continuation of young Diluc and you. But I must finish my inbox. Also my joke of Xiao beating things into submission started all the way back to my first Xiao HCs of friendship. I did not know this lol. I just think it’s funny to imagine xiao doing it. I’m about to high five my past self.
By the way, should I break up my hcs more? I feel like they are actual paragraphs and that might be annoying to read.

“Despair” and Dean and Cas
Well well well, winning is my favorite thing.
As usual, this is going to be as long as hell. And fair warning, it’s extremely emotional.
So here it is, the thing that we have been barrelling towards for years, literally years.
Just want to point out this. Also, I will NEVER allow someone to speak negatively about this writing group, EVER.
Team Free Dads starting off the episode is so sweet, so scary. Cas’ calming, Dean’s fear, Sam’s desperation, really just hammering home how much they love Jack, how his pain is pain for them, how losing him is unbearable.
“I can’t stop this. I’m coming apart. I don’t want to hurt you. Don’t let me hurt you.”
Oof. If you’ve ever question whether Jack is a Winchester, this line should shut that shit down for you.
When I tell you I was PISSED when Billie sent Jack to the Empty to EXPLODE????? PAIN.
“Yeah the Empty can’t come to earth, not without being summoned.”
Hello Bobo, clue number 1.
The fact that they only had Jack in limbo for like five seconds was great for my heart health, thank u very much Bobo.
Also Dean wielding Death’s scythe?????? KING?????
Man, Sam and Dean’s growth. The way that they’re able to, idk, actually speak on how they feel without death looming or fear or pain. It’s just a conversation, just an honest conversation of Dean admitting his mistakes, admitting how he felt. Admitting that he fucked up, and Sam forgiving him for it.
CHARLIE AND HER GF CHARLIE AND HER GF CHARLIE AND HER GF
Also...hunters and their “dates.” Two hunters who are happily together, who are happily fighting monsters. Hm. Sounds like a Saileen/Destiel parallel to me boys.
You ever wish Cas would look and the mirror and take the great advice he gives others? Because I do. He’s always tried to be “useful” for Sam and Dean, for Jack, always tried to make sure that he’s useful enough that they keep him around. But what he doesn’t understand, what he’s never understood, is that they need him because of who he is, not because of what he contributes.
Remind y’all of anything?
And here we have Clue Number 2
And then, Sam’s realization. Eileen.
Did I begin full tilt screaming no in my apartment when he said her name? Who’s to say?
How can a lock screen cause me this much pain????
Okay but: Charlie loses Stevie, Sam loses Eileen. Clue Number 3.
I feel like I don’t talk enough about how much Sam loves Eileen. About how obvious it is that they are endgame, about how happy he is when he talks about her. This just feels like a blow to the stomach, but we’ve barely even started.
Sam immediately shifting into protective leader mode? He is the love of my life.
Dean’s simple nod, like it’s a given? Enough to do me in right there.
This is another episode where it’s just so clear that Sam is the leader of the North American hunters. Everyone knows him, everyone is willing to follow him. He’s knowledgeable and kind and fair and just and an incredibly capable fighter. Once again, I don’t believe his work on earth is done.
Can we also please talk about how FRIGHTENING IT WAS for Jack to kill that plant??? I don’t really have much of a comment on it because I was literally just like ?????
With Billie saying that it’s Chuck, the way that people were dusted, very similar to Becky and Amara, I honestly wouldn’t be surprised, especially with Donna getting taken off the board. It’s like I said last week, I don’t buy that he’s taken himself off the board, he’s too invested in the unraveling of this story to take a step back. He’s gotta break them before he can defeat them, that’s the only way.
And here we go, into one of the most painful and surreal things I will ever write about.
Dean’s speech. His guilt, his regret. The shame of not only trapping himself, but the pain, the horror of trapping Cas.
“I just lead us into another trap. All because I, I couldn’t hurt Chuck. Because I was angry and because I just needed something to kill, and because that’s all I know how to do.”
“Dean-”
“It was Chuck all along. We never should have left Sam and Jack, we should be there with them now. Everybody’s gonna die, Cas. Everybody. I can’t stop it.”
His narrative arc. Tied up in a bow.
“She’s gonna get through that door.”
“I know.”
“And she’s gonna kill you and then she’s gonna kill me. I’m sorry.”
Cas smiles.
Cas knows. He knows what’ll get them out of this, and he knows that he would do anything in this Universe for Dean Winchester. The human man he fell for.
“When Jack was dying, I made a deal to save him.”
“You what?”
“The price was my life. When I experienced a moment of true happiness, the Empty would be summoned and it would take me forever.”
“Why are you telling me this now?”
“I always wondered, ever since I took that burden, that curse, I’ve wondered what it could be, what my true happiness could even look like. I never found an answer, because the one thing I want, it’s something I know I can’t have.
“But I think I know, I think I know now...happiness isn’t in the having, it’s in just being. It’s in just saying it.”
“What are you talking about, man?”
The most selfless thing Cas does in this, and he does a lot of selfless things, is to tell Dean Winchester how impossibly good he is. To tell him that he is worthy, to tell him that he is adored.
“I know, I know how you see yourself, Dean. You see yourself the same way our enemies see you. You’re destructive and you’re angry and you’re broken and you’re daddy’s blunt instrument. And you think that hate and anger, that’s what drives you, that’s who you are. It’s not. And everyone who knows you sees it, and everything you have ever done, the good and the bad, you have done for love. You raise your little brother for love, you fought for this whole world for love. That is who you are.
“You’re the most caring man on earth. You are the most selfless, loving human being I will ever know. You know, ever since we met, ever since I pulled you outta Hell...knowing you has changed me.
“Because you cared, I cared. I cared about you, I cared about Sam, I cared about Jack, I cared about the whole world because of you.
“You changed me, Dean.”
“Why does this sound like a goodbye?”
Dean’s greatest fear. His fear of those loving him leaving him. The terror of being alone.
“Because it is.
The head shake. Don’t love me. Don’t love me if it means you’ll leave me, don’t love me, everyone I love leaves me. Don’t leave me. Don’t love me. Don’t leave me.
“Don’t do this, Cas.”
Just like I always thought. One last look at Dean before the Empty takes him.
“Cas-”
“Goodbye Dean.”
And Dean is left, broken on the floor, unable to answer Sam’s calls, unable to do anything. It doesn’t matter to him that Chuck has wiped everyone out, it doesn’t matter to him that Sam and Jack might need him. It doesn’t matter. It doesn’t matter, because the thing that mattered still hangs on his lips, still waiting to be said, and now he won’t get another chance to say it.
The fact that I am writing this, even with all my spec, with all my analysis of the writers’ room, of their text, of the way Dabb and co had approached this story, nothing could have ever prepared me for this. Nothing could have prepared me for a three and a half minute, uninterrupted scene where Cas confesses not only that he loves Dean, but that he has always loved him.
I talk a lot about how these writers don’t get the credit they deserve. Unfortunately, from most of this fandom, they never will. We will likely never know the fights with the network they had, the steps backward they had to take, the way they had to beg and fight and claw to get this on the screen. But they did it. They did it for these characters, they did it for this dinosaur of a show, and yeah, they did it for us.
It was not easy, I can promise you, to get this greenlit. They had to fight for this, they likely had to call in favors and make threats and quite literally put their careers on the line (you may scoff at that, but WB is a BIG company, especially in the TV/movie world) for this story. This story of Dean and Cas, the man dragged out of Hell and the angel who fell for him.
I have tons more to say, and will likely have several more posts about this, but I want to leave all my babes who are worried that that was the end for Dean and Cas with some takeaways.
Sam is missing Eileen. Dean is missing Cas. That is no longer a fun subtextual parallel, that is it for them. Their respective endgames are missing, and they will not know their peace until they get them back. Chuck will not win. That’s not the story being told, and right now? He’s winning. He’s broken them, left them with nothing, left them with an empty world and a hole in each of their hearts where their person (or angel) used to be.
Our show is going to end with “contentment.” “Contentment” isn’t from Sam and Dean being filled with grief and hitting the open road. It isn’t Sam getting Eileen back and leaving Dean with no one. “Contentment” is Sam and Eileen, Dean and Cas. Together.

warmer than cuddles
w/c: 2.4k
warnings: may plays matchmaker and makes some suggestive jokes
prompt: you and peter get caught in the rain and have to share an umbrella
a/n: thank youuu to the angel who requested <3 swear this is my favorite trope to write hehe ☔️
-
one of the many things you and peter have in common is being lazy. it’s sort of the basis of your friendship. you’re not the kids who drink or party or get in trouble. you play board games and eat pizza on his ripped up couch. the riskiest thing you’ve ever done is sneak into a movie.
peter was so paranoid you’d get caught, he couldn’t even pay attention. he kept whispering to you about paying the whole time. you had to drag him out by his hand after the movie ended. the next time you went to that theater, he bought an extra ticket to “make it even.”
that about put an end to your trying new things phase. you went right back to your comfy nights in pajamas. tackling each other for the remote, baking terrible cookies that you just throw out, sharing a blanket to stay warm. what also helps is that you cuddle under it.
all the fun you need is you, peter, and your love for doing nothing. may disagrees.
she’s always trying to get you two out of the apartment. in her words, it’s “unhealthy for developing teens to spend so much time cooped up inside.” peter once asked which mother’s facebook group she joined. you snickered at that. may gave you a warning look.
well, you don’t have a choice to stay in today. she’s kicking you and peter out because she has guests coming over.
“it’s girl’s night,” may tells the two of you with a satisfied smirk. she hangs her raincoat on the rack and comes into the living room. peter squints his eyes at her. “you have friends?” he sounds too surprised for your liking. you flick his arm hard enough to make him go “ouch!”
“peter, we only have, like, four friends. that’s counting ourselves,” you inform him with a laugh. peter drops his head onto your shoulder. “and i don’t need any of them but you,” he says sarcastically, rubbing his cheek on your sweatshirt. “aw, i know,” you coo and rest your head on his. may crosses her arms and shrugs.
“you should do a group play date with everyone! i haven’t heard from ned in a while,” she suggests, your eyes flicking over to peter. he’s biting back a grin. “play date?” you try to stifle a laugh when you ask. “you know what i mean. a hang out,” may nods at her better word choice. peter winces in protest.
“eh, ned will probably wanna go out somewhere. we don’t do that,” he tells may, like that’s a completely normal thing for a teenager to say. you raise a finger in agreement. she laughs in disbelief at you and peter. you’re splayed out on the couch, on a saturday, complaining about doing anything else.
“you two make me feel young.” may’s words are a joke, but her tone isn’t. “you are young, may,” you reassure her and smile a little. peter says nothing. his eyes become hooded as he settles into you more. “look at you two, like some old married couple,” may gestures to you from where she’s standing. she smiles this time.
peter’s face gets hot from the mention of you being a couple. your heart skips a couple of beats. you’re pretty sure he can tell from how close he is.
“do whatever you want, just not here,” she gets back to the real conversation. peter hides his entire face in your shoulder as a form of protest. you pat his back. “and not each other. unless you’re safe,” may adds. “may, please. no,” he groans out, positive he’s all red now. you blink at her in horror.
may knows what she’s doing. peter isn’t the most subtle person, especially not about liking someone. she’s learned all the signs that her nephew is falling. he’s falling for you. she sees it in you, too. the way your eyes soften when they meet peter’s, how fast you are to hug him back or beam at the silly things he says.
you two spend so much time apart from your other friends, you basically are a couple. you’re just not old or married. the only thing you need is a push to realize that.
“ok, we’re gonna go now,” peter decides and pulls away from you. “god bless,” you say only so he can hear. he chuckles at that, you getting up from the couch. giving him a knowing smile, you grab one of his hands. he lets you pull him to his feet while exhaling. he’s already exhausted. may watches and shakes her head.
peter walks up to give her a quick hug. “enjoy girl’s night. love you,” he murmurs as she squeezes him tight. even though they tease each other a lot, their relationship is really sweet. it’s very telling how a guy treats his mother. well, aunt in this case. that thought has always been in the back of your mind.
“have fun!” you grin at may when her and peter pull apart. he comes back over to you and tugs on your sleeve. “thanks, kids. we’ll be done around eleven,” she lets you know. you’re already getting your shoes on and ready to leave. eleven is a while from now.
“don’t forget an umbrella! it’s drizzling!” may calls after you two. peter grabs hers that’s leaning against the front door. it’s pink with purple polka dots. you giggle at that. “hey, i like pink,” he defends himself and opens the door, letting you out first. you raise your hands in defense, leaving the apartment.
peter waves at may one last time. “good luck, peter,” she tells him once you reach the stairs. he furrows both eyebrows. “good luck with what?” “you’ll see,” may raises her own eyebrows in a way that’s all too familiar to peter. he calls it her face of wisdom.
still confused, peter heads out. he finds you at the bottom of the stairs. you shove your hands in your pockets and push against the door to open it. peter meets you outside, twirling the umbrella between his fingers.
“is there anywhere you wanna go?” he asks as you start to walk. you’re just going down the block for now. “back upstairs,” you sigh out. “i wish. not an option, though,” peter puffs some air out of his cheeks. you fumble to pull up your hood. he easily reaches over and does it for you.
“thanks,” you say quietly. “you’re welcome,” peter pats the top of your head for emphasis. “we could just walk around.” “until eleven o’clock? that’s five hours from now,” you laugh out, adjusting your hoodie to block your face. disappointment crosses over his features.
“should’ve brought my suit,” he mutters mostly to himself. linking your arm with his, your eyes widen. “i’m not trusting you to swing me around in this weather.” his bicep flexes when your arm wraps around his own. “what? i’ve done it before, y/n/n. on patrol.” you turn your head towards him.
“didn’t you get hurt last time?” you already know the answer. “sprained wrist and a few cuts,” he grumbles, you humming because you’re right. he’d called you in tears when he got home, scared he broke something. you reminded him he would heal soon and stayed on the phone until he calmed down.
that ended up being the whole night. you’re probably the most supportive of peter being spider-man. you of course worry about the toll it takes, but you understand why he does it. the least you can do is be there for him while he navigates the superhero world. not talk him out of it or scold him for making mistakes, be there.
that’s why he loves his lazy days with you so much. they’re his break, his escape from what he lies awake worrying about most nights. you’ve seen what he has to go through, so you respect that. whatever he needs to do to unwind is fine by you. as long as you get to do it with him.
“then you couldn’t patrol for weeks. you could barely hold a pencil.” your other arm sneaks around his. they’re both hugging him now. “you had to be my note taker,” peter reminisces, a smile making its way onto his face. “that sucked, man. you’re such a perfectionist about them,” you breathe out.
peter flips the umbrella around in a show-off kind of way. “you don’t complain when i send them to you.” he sounds so cocky you can’t help but roll your eyes. he isn’t wrong, though. “whatever. seriously, where should we go?” “uh,” peter’s eyes scan the block for inspiration. they land on a man carrying takeout.
“dinner? not at a restaurant since we’re in sweats,” he adds the last part so you don’t have to. “ooh, let’s go to panera,” you happily squeeze his arm. peter quirks an eyebrow at you. “you’re always hungry after.” “so? we can get dessert, too. we have a while.” that makes his heart flutter. a while with you.
“cool, cool, cool,” he sings to you, leaning into your side as you walk. you giggle and push at his shoulder. “i think we can make it there before the rain picks up.” there’s a clap of thunder right after he says that, like something out of a movie. it’s followed by a heavier rain coming down on you two. you pull at the strings of your hoodie to keep it tighter on your head.
“jinxed it,” you remark, both of you stopping so peter can open the umbrella. “ugh,” he grunts out. his lower lip is between his teeth while he undoes the velcro. he pushes down and watches as the umbrella springs open for you two. “here, c’mere,” peter welcomes you under as he holds it above your heads.
it doesn’t quite fit you both since it’s only meant for one person. you forgot he took may’s. the two of you have to squish together so you can avoid the rain, which is pitter pattering down hard on the sidewalk.
you’re comfortable under here with him. the freezing cold weather outside of the umbrella is hardly an issue anymore.
peter turns to face you, letting out a breathless laugh. “you can take off your hood now.” your arms slip from around his. you remove it from your head and give him a toothy grin. it’s one that’s meant to be over exaggerated. “there’s that pretty face,” peter’s voice gets quieter. unlike what you did, that wasn’t a joke.
your pretty face loses its smile. you’re suddenly very aware of how close peter is to you.
you can see the faint scar on his chin from when he banged it into a wall in your living room. he’d ran straight into it during your two person game of hide and seek. yes, you still play that. it was gushing blood for half an hour.
there are also the thousands of freckles dotting his face, the ones you only notice by looking at him super hard. you try to count them whenever you get bored. peter stares back at you while you fall in love with every tiny detail about him.
he takes the time to admire your lips, not just because they look really kissable right now. because of every curious expression they press into when he does something you can’t believe. your eyes, that he feels a sense of safety and honesty and familiarity every time he looks into. he finds them and feels like he’s home.
“peter?” you speak up after a few moments. your tone is hesitant, as if whatever you’re going to ask will change what you have forever. that’s because it might. it’s silent except for the sound of the rain hitting his umbrella. peter finally answers, almost in a whisper. “yeah?”
“i... i think,” you clear your throat before going on. his eyes trail down to your lips again, then back up to your twinkling ones. even on a gloomy day like this, they could light up the whole sky. “i think i love you,” you get out, a hand over your racing heart. peter gives you a small but sure nod. “i think i love you, too.”
he takes a step closer to you, if that’s even possible. his hand without the umbrella comes up to hold your cheek. you watch as he uses his thumb to wipe away a few stray rain droplets. your head tilts to the side, lips parted on instinct. peter leans in until his lips just brush yours, letting you decide what comes next.
you choose to close the space between you two. his eyes squeeze shut, whole face scrunched up when he kisses back. this is a release of all the emotions he’s been holding in that he didn’t even realize he had. you slip into a rhythm, using the angle to move your lips against peter’s.
his hand drops from your cheek to your jaw to support you while you kiss. your own hands grab his biceps, fingers pressing into him, depesrate to have him in your arms. peter lets out a content sigh against your lips before detaching them. it’s not for long. he comes right back in after taking a breath.
you get one long peck from him, then another that’s softer than the last. you give him a short kiss back, lips curving into a smile when this one ends. peter’s thumb smooths over your jawline while he searches for your eyes. he grins at you and tightens his grip on the umbrella handle. he’s surprised it didn’t blow away in the midst of your mini makeout.
“i definitely love you, peter,” you state so genuinely, hands on his shoulders now. that has to be peter’s favorite sentence he’s ever heard. the most beautiful combination of words, said by you to him. “i definitely love you, y/n,” peter agrees, punctuating his statement with one last kiss. you haven’t stopped smiling when his lips meet the corner of yours.
may was right about two things that night. you needed the umbrella for that huge storm, but it did more than protect your from the rain. it also brought you and peter together in a way. the second thing she was right about was that peter loves you, and every feeling he has mirror yours for him.
actually, she was right about three things. you two have to get out of the apartment more often.

A Pure Soul: Nearly Taken (Yandere!Wanda Maximoff x ADD!autistic!reader)
*Not my GIF.
Summary: The day (y/n) comes back to the compound after being told all those nasty things takes a toll on their mental health and self-esteem. Unfortunately it gets to a point that Wanda hoped it would NEVER reach.
Request?: Still none.
Word Count: 3,456
Warnings: Ableism, eugenics mention, r-word slur, attempted suicide, attempted overdose, hurt and comfort.
Notes: This is a sort of “in-between scene” from “A Pure Soul.” The rate of suicide is 3 times higher in autistic people because of the world’s lack of understanding and willingness to accommodate us. Plus being told the world would be better off without you, along with people looking for ways to make sure we’re not born....that’s gonna take a toll. So it makes sense for these feelings to emerge.
=============================================
You know that the world isn’t very kind to the disabled.
You know that the world wishes people like you wouldn’t exist.
But that doesn’t make what happened hurt any less.
You were out shopping when you ran into your best friend from high school. Except....this friend wasn’t the same as you knew them. No, instead they showed you their true colors.
“Oh hey, (y/n),” they said.
Tone has never been your specialty.
“Hey!” you exclaimed happily as you were looking through the books at your local bookstore. “It’s been so long since I’ve seen you! How are you?”
“Better. How’s the treatment coming along?”
This confused you.
“Treatment?”
They nodded.
“For that disease you call autism.”
This struck a chord, and it struck HARD. How could they say something like that?!
“D-disease?!”
They smirked.
“I mean, it just makes us humans lives harder to be around your kind.”
What?!
“What the hell’s gotten into you?!” you exclaimed. “I thought you were my best friend!”
“Oh?”
They pretended to wrack their brain.
“Oh! Yeah, I was such a great actor in that part. I should get an Oscar. Here’s the tea; I lost a bet and had to be your best friend for those four hellish years. I can’t believe they wanted me to suffer that much.”
Your heart began to crack. It was all....an act?
“You took my high school years away from me, made me miserable. I could’ve won prom royalty, but no one voted for me because I associated myself with your species. I’m glad you’re out of my life now. You’re nothing but a burden and the world would be so much better off without you. Why not do us that favor?”
Your heart shattered. You were so plagued with shock that you didn’t notice them push you to the ground and spit on you before walking away with a satisfied chuckle. For the next few minutes, you couldn’t say or do anything. You were just frozen to the spot, their words bouncing around your head.
Finally you were able to feel both the physical and emotional pain. Pursing your lips, you got up, kept your head down, and quickly left the bookstore, trying not to let the tears fall.
===============================================
In the elevator, heading up to your floor, you can barely form a new thought. All you can think of is that hurtful interaction.
Burden, your kind, your species, disease....
It all hurt.
And the worst part is that you can’t help but think that they’re right.
But your thoughts are jolted by the elevator bell. As usual you find the Avengers hanging out in the lounge. Nat and Clint are chatting with Wanda. Tony and Peter are working on homework. You can barely see what the others are doing.
Almost instantly, Wanda’s eye falls on you. She has a smile on her face, but it falls when she sees you, as she instantly knows that something is wrong.
“(Y/N)!” she whispers worried.
She rushes over and gives you a gentle hug, but you practically squeeze the life out of her. The other Avengers also come to your aid.
“What happened?” Wanda asks you.
You gulp as she and Nat lead you to the couch.
“I....” you begin as you sit down. “I was out shopping....and I ran into my best friend from high school....”
You tell them the entire interaction. Shocked looks are nearly all around by the end.
“That’s seriously messed up,” Nat says in a mix of disgust and anger.
The others nod in agreement, except for Wanda. Instead she begins to tear up.
“My sweet angel,” she weeps softly as she hugs you closer and pets your head. “Oh, my sweet, sweet angel. None of what they said is true, not one bit of it. You’re an absolute joy to have around and you’re one of the kindest souls I’ve ever met. You bring so much to the Avengers and to our lives. Autism is not a disease. It’s a part of who you are, and I wouldn’t change it for the world.”
“Wanda’s right,” Peter nods. “You’re wonderful, (y/n). You’re one of the best friends I could ever ask for.”
“And you bring a lot of new perspectives,” Nat adds. “You came into our lives when we needed you the most, especially Wanda.”
They all take turns giving you words of comfort and encouragement as well as letting you cry. Wanda stays the closest to you, to no one’s surprise, hugging you tightly. Her embrace is exactly what you need right now; so warm and loving.
Tony, though not the most emotional person, does feel sympathetic and even angered at the person who said that to you; even though you’re on the opposite side of the Accords, he decides to get your favorite food for dinner. It’s not the greatest gesture of sympathy, but it’s definitely something. After that, you take a nice, warm shower and get into some fresh, soft pajamas. Wanda’s waiting for you in your bedroom, and surprises you with some soft socks that match your pajamas.
“I removed the fabric tags too,” she tells you.
Your heart melts a bit more for her. How someone as kind, attentive, and loving as her could ever be considered a terrible person is beyond you. You let her put them on your feet and they feel amazing. You wriggle your toes in them, smiling.
“You like them?” she asks you.
“I love them,” you giggle before turning to Wanda. “And I love you.”
She smiles and gives you a kiss on the forehead.
“I love you too, my angel.”
The two of you spend the rest of the night together, cuddling up close with one another, watching sitcoms, singing quietly. You doze off in her arms.....
But that doesn’t mean it’s over.....
==============================================
You’re not someone who easily forgets how things make you feel, and what that person said still makes you feel like shit. Now whenever you go out, you’re worried that you’re going to run into them. You keep your guard up and walk as quickly as you can. Every outing feels like a fight for survival, but you try to stay strong so that you don’t bother the others. You try to keep a smile on your face. You need to be strong.....
.....But even the strong reach their limits.
It’s a little after you found out they became catatonic. You’re at a coffee shop, nearly empty, when someone else walks in. It’s a friend of that person. You keep your head low as they place their order; four cups of black coffee, extra hot. Your anxiety is increasing, but you don’t want this person to think you’re weak. You keep your back to them, hearing the door open again.
The other person is called for their order. Maybe you can finally get out of here.
The next thing you know, you feel something steaming hot being poured down the back of your shirt, on your head, thrown in your face, (which you luckily cover most of with your arms) and splattered on your arms and legs. Standing up, you cry out in pain as you whirl around to see 4 people from high school, among them the friend of your former best friend.
“It’s your fault my best friend can’t function, you retard!” the friend snaps as they push you around roughly.
“No one wants you on this planet,” spits another.
“You’re nothing but a parasite!”
“You just weigh people down!”
“You’re an embarrassment to society!”
“Why don’t you just end this?”
“It’ll be better that way!”
“Your birth was a mistake!”
By this time, you’re hardly a thread’s width away from a meltdown and you look at the cashier for help, but nothing. You try to take out your phone to call for help, but you end up slipping on the coffee, falling to the ground hard and in an odd position, hearing a crack. Pain surges through your body as you look at your arms; burn marks are beginning to form.
After they kick at you for a bit and spit on you, they leave. You look up at the cashier.
“Why....didn’t you help?” you whimper with a whistle in your voice.
No answer.
They don’t help you up either. Crawling to the door, you use a nearby booth to bring yourself back up to your feet. Suddenly you feel an intense surge of pain in your left leg, and not just from the burns. You look to see that it’s swollen and turning reddish-purple. You reach into your coat and get out your phone only to discover that it’s dead. Wanda’s going to be worried sick....you hate making her worry, and she’s been worried sick these last few weeks to the point where it’s taking a toll on her; so on the way back, you decide to take one worry out of her life for good.
======================
It’s dark when you get back to the compound. And lucky for you, the elevator is closed for repairs. You limp up the stairs, finally reaching the compound. As quiet as a dust mite, you open the door, biting down on your lips to keep yourself from crying out in pain; unfortunately, your lips took some burn damage as well. Limping to the bathroom, you shut and lock the door. You search the medicine cabinet and find some pills.
“This should do the trick,” you whisper.
You try to quietly position yourself on the floor so that you won’t hit your head. You want to be able to pass as peacefully as possible. But something gives in your left leg and you fall, letting out a loud cry of agony. Realizing your mistake, you quickly fiddle with the lid of the bottle as you hear footsteps rush in. You finally get the lid open and begin to pour out the whole bottle into your hand, hoping to get it in in time--
Click!
The lock turns scarlet, clicks, and the door swings opens.
“(Y/N)!”
A terrified Wanda immediately snatches the pills and bottle from you with her powers. She makes them disappear before heading to your side, tears already flowing from her eyes.
“My sweet angel.....” she squeaks as she kneels in front of you gently taking ahold of your hands. “I didn’t realize you were feeling this terrible. I’m so sorry things have reached this point.”
You look away guiltily.
“No, I’m sorry....it’s my fault. I never said....anything. You....you’ve been so stressed these past few weeks....all of you. I didn’t want to make it worse on you, so....I just kept quiet.”
Wanda shakes her head.
“You have nothing to apologize for, (y/n). It can be scary, but there’s no shame in reaching out. We all need help sometimes.”
Other footsteps rush in.
“What happened?” Nat asks. “Did (y/n)---?”
“Almost,” Wanda gulps. “We need to get them to the emergency room.”
“I’m fine,” you lie.
“Are you fine?” Wanda asks.
You realize that it’s pointless to lie, and you shake your head.
“No, I’m not....”
“Then we need to take you to the emergency room.....”
That’s when she sees the burns and leg.
“Especially to treat these.....what happened?”
As they carry you to the car, you tell them about the run-in at the coffee shop, them pouring the hot coffee on you, how they were telling you all of these things, how the cashier did nothing to help, how you heard that crack. Both of them are disgusted and horrified at those monsters.
“I don’t care what they say,” Nat tells you as they get you inside. “I’m glad that you’re here.”
“I am too,” Wanda agrees as she gets in the front seat. “We’re here for you.”
“But.....my autism.....”
Wanda gently takes ahold of your fingers, careful to avoid the burns.
“My angel.....I can only imagine how isolating it feels to be in a world that’s not made for you, but your autism is part of who you are. It’s what makes you unique. If the world refuses to accommodate for people like you on their own, we’ll help them to see that they need to, and we’ll help advocate with you.”
Nat nods as she starts the car up and the three of you head for the ER.
“I....I feel selfish worrying you like this and even attempting....I just thought....you’ve been so stressed and I thought it’d be better to take one worry out of your life.”
“You have nothing to feel selfish about,” Wanda assures you. “What you did wasn’t selfish. You’re in pain, and wanting to do something to stop that pain isn’t selfish. But there are better ways to deal with the pain, and I want to help you with those. (Y/N), I can say with 100% certainty that I’m glad to have you in my life, through the good and the bad.”
Tears flow down your face as the three of you silently drive to the ER.
=============================================
It takes several hours for you to be treated, along with a few more hours of consultation for your mental health. Some of the burns are treated through surgery, so you have to stay for a little over a week to make sure you recover and stabilize. Your leg is put in a cast, and Wanda comes to visit you everyday. You feel much better with her and Nat.
A psychologist comes in to discuss a safety plan with you. You decided to ask Wanda if she’d come and discuss it with them. She said yes and Nat also decided to help. You all work out what works in terms of coping mechanisms, people you can talk to, calming techniques, etc,. The psychologist also recommends regular counseling. Wanda asks if there are any remote options for counseling, as it’s going to be difficult for you to get there with your leg, (Also, she’s a little worried that the therapist might try to take you away from her, but she does show concern for your leg) and to her relief, there is.
You’re discharged after about a week, but you’re not to be left alone for a few days to another week or two, just to be sure. Well, it’s more of Wanda’s recommendation than psychologist’s orders, but the psychologist also thinks that that could be a good idea. You’re not really complaining; it’s more time to spend with Wanda. And she’s certainly not complaining either.
For that time, especially, she makes sure you know that you’re loved, wanted, valued. She practically dotes on you; as if she hadn’t been doting on you before, she’s especially pampering you now. The other Avengers also get the 411, and decide to help. If you need pain or sleep medications, one of them brings the proper dose to you. They take turns spending time with you and getting to know you more. If they need to go out on a mission, Wanda volunteers to stay with you, but if she’s absolutely needed there, she entrusts your care to Vision, a robot who’s exceptionally caring. You and Wanda regularly discuss possibly adding him to the relationship, but you’re not sure if she’s being serious or not.
On one night, Wanda’s caring for you. After applying the prescribed cream on your burns, she helps you find an oversized t-shirt to wear as PJs.
“This one’s softer than the others,” you note.
“I went looking for a shirt with a softer material than normal,” she tells you as she prepares a small dose of melatonin for you, one that you’ve been taking to combat the nightmares of those events in the hospital. “I know how much it tends to make you feel discomforted if there is one. I also made sure it was a tagless shirt.”
You smile and sigh.
“I don’t know what I did to deserve an angel like you, Wanda,” you tell her.
Hearing this she smiles and blushes.
“If anyone’s the angel, it’s you,” she says as she gives you the melatonin. “You’ve been there for me even when I’m at my absolute worst.”
“So have you.”
You take the melatonin before Wanda brings you your toothbrush and toothpaste. You brush thoroughly before spitting it into a cup that Wanda disposes of.
“You know, I could go to the bathroom and do this myself,” you tell her kindly.
“I know,” she sighs. “I’m just worried, my angel.”
“What if I wash my face tonight with the door open?” you suggest.
Wanda gives this a little thought and nods.
“I can work with that.”
Using your crutches, you walk to the bathroom where you sit on a stool in front of the sink. You wash and dry your face before heading to the bed with Wanda helping you get tucked in.
“You’re seriously an angel,” you tell her. “I don’t think I’ve ever met someone outside of my family that’s been as concerned about my well-being as you.”
“And you’re too sweet,” she smiles again as she finishes getting ready for bed herself. “If anyone’s the undeserving, I don’t deserve you.”
“No, it’s the other way around,” you say.
“No, I’m certain I’m right.”
You giggle.
“Wanda, if we try to prove one right over the other, we’ll be going at this all night.”
She smiles as she goes over to the other side of the bed.
“Well, I know you’re an angel,” she tells you as she gets under the covers. “You came to me in a dark time, and you shone a beam of sunlight through the shadow.”
The two of you look at each other as the fairy lights hang above you. Of course you’re looking at the bridge of her nose, but you can’t help but glance up at her eyes a few times; one time they catch you, and they are stunning. They’re like emeralds to you; vivid, entrancing, mystical. Just a single glance, and you know there’s so much to know about, so much to discover, and you become lost in them.
“I’m so proud of you, (y/n).”
Wanda’s gentle voice echoes against your eardrums and dances around your mind, soothing you into drifting even more. But then she boops you on the nose, making it twitch like a bunny’s and snapping you out of your trance.
“Huh?” you ask, looking lost.
Wanda giggles.
“You are too cute,” she tells you. “I was saying that I’m so proud of you for pushing through all of this. It’s not the easiest thing to do, and.....well.....I’m glad you’re still alive, my sweet little sunbeam.”
You blush upon hearing this and turn away, but Wanda gently redirects your face forward.
“There’s no need to hide, my angel. I want to see your lovely face.”
At that moment, you begin to feel drowsy and bring yourself closer to her.
“I don’t think I’ll ever be able to thank you enough, Wanda,” you sigh.
She brings you in closer and you melt into her embrace.
“Being with you, and you being safe and happy and alive.....that’s the only thank you I need.”
Leaning in, she kisses you gently on your forehead and you shyly return one on her cheek.
“Goodnight, my angel,” she tells you as she brushes a strand of hair out of your way.
“Wait,” you say as she turns to switch the lights off. “Will....will you sing me those lullabies again? Please?”
“Of course,” she smiles.
Turning the lights off, she returns to embrace you and softly sings the Sokovian lullabies her parents used to sing to her. As you drift off to sleep, you don’t know what’s going on in her mind. What’s going on with her mind? Her master plan, of course. Tonight’s the night she will finish what she started. Those monsters at the coffee shop messed with the wrong person. For the past few nights, she’s been paying them visits, doing the same things she did with your former best friend, and sending subconscious suggestions for them to gather in one place, thinking they’d be safer together. And now they have.
Tonight she’s going to make sure their minds are gone for good, but not before making them feel the pain and agony she imagines you felt. Her anger with them is in full throttle, so it’s going to be even worse for them. Telekinesis, fear projection, hypnosis, inducing extreme fear, she’ll do whatever she has to. Wanda will not leave until they’re nothing more than hollow husks, shadows of their former selves. With how they’d been acting on those nights, and how much Wanda has done so far, it won’t take too long.
Because no one-and she means no one-gets away with hurting her precious angel.......ever.

Prove yourself
Wolfstar x Fem!reader
Warning : Smut minors dni, mommy kink dom!reader, Sub! Remus and Sirius, degradation, praise
Word count : 1033
dom!fem! reader with sub remus and sirius 👀👀👀
How about some wolf star x reader where they watch porn together and then decide to make their own? So basically just smut 😅 Also it’s totally ok if you don’t write this, just a suggestion
Alright so I kinda just combined these two requests. I did not proof read this so if you find any mistakes idc lol
---
“Come on Rem, she’ll be back soon. You can hold off a bit longer.”
Remus decided to put the emphasis on the bit. You loved to get them riled up, push them to the very edge only to reel them back like you weren’t the person who put them there. And you could be oh so creative. Sirius had tried to push you to the edge, but you knew how to put him in his place. You’d been edging him for three days, while treating Remus like your perfect angel (cause he was). You had Sirius begging, begging, for some release and you were feeling benevolent.
---
“Aw does my poor baby want to cum?”
“Please Y/N I’m sorry, I’ve been good. I’ll be good. M’sorry M’so sorry.”
You could only grin at the pathetic creature below you. He liked to pretend he wasn’t, that he didn’t belong to you, but it was all too easy to remind him.
“Alright love, I’ll give you the chance to prove yourself.”
You walked past him and his barrage of thank yous and turned on the T.V., and instantly Sirius and Remus’s heads snapped to the sound of a high pitched moan coming from it. You turned your attention to Remus, who was naked leaning against the headboard, obediently waiting for your instructions. You could tell he liked the video, the sight of a beautiful girl riding a well endowed man, facing him so he had full access to her breasts. You chose this video specifically knowing Remus was partial to that position for that very reason.
“She’s pretty, isn't she Remmy?”
“Uh huh, b-but not as pretty as you Mommy.”
“Aw that’s sweet of you to say sweetheart. Why don’t you touch yourself for Mommy?”
“Yes mommy, thank you mommy.”
You ignored Sirius’s needy whines coming from the floor beside the bed where you left him on his knees.
“Sirius says he wants to be a good boy like you, wanna help me let him?”
Remus nodded eagerly while you cupped his cheek, leaning into your soft touch.
“Whatever you want baby. Alright Siri, I have some things I need to do, but you hop up on the bed beside Remus.” you tried not to chuckle as he eagerly climbed on. “You and Remmy are gonna watch this video while I’m gone okay, and Remus can touch himself, but you aren’t allowed. If Remus can hold off before the video is done, you can cum, but if he can’t you don’t get to, understood.”
Sirius gulped and nodded. You pressed a kiss over his and Remus’s troubled brow.
“And don’t even think about lying to me there’s a camera right there so mommy can watch her own video later. How bout you take over for him now Siri?”
---
“Please, please just wait a bit longer. I wanna cum so bad.”
“M-me too.”
“I know, but I have an idea. I bet Mommy would reward you for holding off. Bet she’d ride you, and let you touch her. Don’t you wanna touch Mommy?”
“Y-yeah.”
“Then wait, just a bit longer.”
You were just outside the door. Battling between satiating your own dripping desire on Remus or listening to them both squirm. But your mind was made up as soon as you heard Remus let out the neediest whine.
“Sirius stop!”
You turned off the T.V. and smirked at the camera recording beside it, excited for the chance to see their pretty faces you had missed on the other side of the door. Your eyes raked over Remus’s trembling body, from is dampened forehead to his trembling legs, absolute perfection.
“Such a good boy waiting for Mommy, don’t worry darling I’ll take care of you now. What does my precious baby want, hmm?”
“Mommy, please. Wanna make you feel good, please ride me.”
“Alright love, Siri you hold on a bit longer I need to help this sweet boy first.”
“Yes Ma’am.”
You were quick to remove your clothes and straddle his waist.
“M-mommy please.”
“It’s alright I got you baby.”
Remus threw his head back in a soundless moan as you sank down on him. The feeling of your wet heat enveloping him perfectly had him rutting into you uncontrollably. Just when you were about to try to settle him down he was sitting up and wrapping his arms around you, pressing your chest to his eager mouth. Normally you’d chastise him for touching you without permission, but the look of pure and utter lust on Sirius’s face was much too amusing, and besides, it did feel pretty damn good. So damn good in fact you were already close to climaxing. You just needed that one extra push, so you snaked your hand down to rub your own clit. You were glad that the camera was still recording.
“Such a good boy, M’gonna cum, wanna cum with me sweetheart?”
“P-please. Yes Mommy you feel so good.”
You moved to plant open mouthed kisses along his neck as you felt him shudder beneath you, but him being your perfect angel he didn’t stop thrusting until you had your head thrown back, digging your nails into his shoulders. You peppered some kisses across the bridge of his nose before allowing him to collapse against the pillows. Your eyes met Sirius’s passing him a lay, blissed out grin, but it quickly turned into a frown of bewilderment as you looked at the cum running down his cock and stomach.
“What the fuck is this? I didn’t even see you touch yourself and you came like a pathetic little bitch watching me ride Remus?”
“I-I didn’t mean to. I couldn’t hold it, it sounded so pretty.”
You huffed at his arrogance.
“Fine, you like cumming so bad? I’m going to make you cum till it hurts, till there’s nothing left. And even then I might not let you off the hook. Remmy you go grab the camera while I clean Sirius off, I don’t think we’re done with it yet.”
You knew you were in for quite the night as Sirius writhed under the firm grasp you had on his cock.
Yep, definitely a good call on the camera.
---
Not sure how I feel about this one, but I hope y’all enjoy regardless <3

After being introduced to a gourmet food on a budget blog by Pepper (a gift for her elderly, cheapskate mother) Tony starts cooking again. The recipes are good, but the blog owner is even better. Tony Stark has his hands full with not only Stark Industries, but also his beloved mother's life project: The Maria Stark Academy, and as he enters his office in order to deal with a ferocious mother whose son was apparently assaulted by one of his brightest students, he was sure this day would culminate in nothing but a heinous headache. Little did he know - he was in for one hell of a surprise.

A guy at Shield High comes out on tumblr, anonymously. Tony thought he was the only gay guy on campus--not out, because of Howard--and sends him an email.
“Hey, Flying. Same here. I’ve got a secret too, and it’s like I’m hiding who I am, every day. From everyone. All the closest people to me. But I just can’t tell them. I’m gay, too. It feels like I’m putting on this mask, this shell of who I think they want me to be. Even though I don’t think my friends would judge me. I don’t know why. I just. I’ve got a secret. –Shell”
The guy seems great--amazing, even, and then Hammer has to step in and ruin it all.
Mergers & Acquisitions by Robin_tCJ, 33 k > words, Angst, sex as currency.
Steve Rogers is the CEO of the Rogers Corporation, which he built from the ground up. When he learns that Hydra International is making a bid for a hostile takeover of Stark Industries, he decides he has to do what he can to stop Hydra from overtaking the market and becoming an unstoppable, unethical conglomerate. Tony Stark asks for something Steve isn’t sure he should give, but he does it anyway – and it completely changes everything. But when Hydra keeps coming, Steve and Tony realize there’s more to this than they’d realized.
Meeting the Monsters by itsallAvengers, 23 k > words, Alternate Universe - High School, Alternate Universe - Creatures & Monsters.
Tony's at public school with kids his age for the first time in seventeen years, and he is determined that this year is gonna be his year. He's going to make friends. He's going to be popular. People will like him.
Unsurprisngly, none of that actually happens.

“Give me a drink, Tasha,” Tony sighs as he lands in front of the bar. “I’ve had one hell of a day.”
Natasha raises an eyebrow. “Have you really?” she asks, loftily, sliding a tumbler of whiskey along the well-polished wood.
Tony lets his head hang, the sweat beading on the back of his neck. “You wouldn’t believe what I’ve had to put myself through today,” he sighs, wearily.
“I would not know. You will not let me work the rooms,” Natasha retorts, her voice a little strained, busying her hands in a dirty glass.
“I don’t let you work the rooms ‘cause you’re liable to kill anyone who touches ya the wrong way and we can’t lose that much of our business,” Tony reminds her, wryly amused, sipping at his whiskey. He shakes his head at the burn. “We peddle flesh, darling, not death.”
peers, fears and holiday cheers by jacobby, 24 k > words, Parent Tony Stark.
“He’s only two years older than you,” Tony finally says when the silence becomes too much to bear.
“Dad, Teddy is turning twenty-seven next year.”

“I’m not implying you are. I just want you to be...aware that he’s practically the same age as my husband.”
AKA
Tony Stark's new boyfriend is only two years older than his adult sons. Telling them is one thing, introducing them is another. Steve quickly finds himself falling for the quick-witted and sarcastic actor but Tony is dating the stage manager. and teach this heart (how to beat with light), by starklystar, 40 k >, AU Hospital, Single parent Steve.
Eight years ago, at a funeral with a baby's cries ringing in his ears, Tony Stark decided to turn his life around. He's a genius, billionaire, philanthropist. What's so hard to adding 'doctor' to that list? And after that, it can't be that hard to add 'husband' and 'father' too, right? But the past has a way of haunting even the very best of us, and in any universe, Tony Stark and Steve Rogers have never had an easy love.

Cake It Till You Make It by ChocolateCapCookie, 10 k > words, Kid Fic, Alternate Universe - Bakery.

a glimpse of heaven's love by parkrstark, 13 k> words, Alternate Universe - No Powers, Terminal Illnesses.
The child begins to empty his pockets. He starts to count coins on the counter. Tony huffs a little impatiently as he realizes most of them are pennies.
The cashier actually humors the kid and counts along with him. They reach 3 dollars and 54 cents before he shakes his head sadly. "Sorry, kid. There's not enough here."
The kid sounds close to crying. "I need these paints for my Papa. It's Christmas Eve and these...he doesn't have any. The doctors said he doesn't have long. I want him to have these. In case he meets Jesus tonight, I want him to paint one more time. Please."

A Rat-ional Conclusion by BladeoftheNebula, 6 k > words, Alternate Universe - No Powers, Alternate Universe - Veterinarians, Parent Tony Stark.
He had a strong flurry of patients throughout the morning and by the time it rolled around to noon, he was just about worn out.
He walked out into the reception, stretching until he felt a satisfying pop. “Are we done?”
Bucky checked the screen. “Just about. One more before lunch - a rat, singular.”
Steve breathed a sigh of relief. Hopefully straight forward then. “Great, let me know when they-”
He was interrupted by the bell over the door and looked up to see a little girl cradling a small animal carrier, being shepherded through the door by easily one of the hottest men he’d ever seen in real life.

Steve blinked awake and lifted his head from his pillow to look over at the silhouette in the doorway. “What?”
“Your mom,” Tony reiterated. “She kissed me.”
“Yeah,” Steve said simply, “she does that.”

Category: Fluff, single mom!Y/N
Warning: Some strong language. Slight mention of abortion. Not proof-read.
Note: time-skip to when covid-19 is dead ok
Summary: Harry is lyrically stuck, Y/N is the new big songwriter. She’s also a single mom to a 4-year-old girl.
Early italics are flashbacks.
..
When you’re a young mother, the world isn’t always the kindest, especially when no partner is in the picture.
While you were young, having had baby Faith when you were only 21, you applauded yourself for years for the effort you poured into raising a child alone – with the help of family and friends, and too many books and videos, but you get the point.
Faith wasn’t a mistake, you hate it when anyone even dares to imply so, but she was unplanned. You were in a toxic on-and-off relationship for 3 years, at some point believing that it might have been an open relationship because of the amount of times you caught your ex-boyfriend flirting with women and men right in front of you.
You had done your part after knowing that you were pregnant after one drunken night that led to a rough make-up session. You approached your ex, sat him down and broke the news;
“I’m pregnant.”
“Whose is it?” He had asked, face falling.
Yours scrunched up in anger, almost disgust at the implication. “Yours, you dumb-fuck! I don’t sleep around while I’m in a relationship like some people.” You had emphasized.
He ignored your comment, releasing a sigh. “You aren’t keeping it, are you?”
You were never against abortion. You were never against planned pregnancy. You had freaked out alright on your own when you were confirmed pregnant, but something inside you told you to hold on to the human inside of you, to that little bundle of oblivion – a little bundle of faith.
It was when he asked you that one question, his tone almost sure that you would abort the child, that you felt angry tears pool your eyes. “I am.”
He wasn’t ready to hear it and his wide eyes showed that, “Wh-What do you mean you are? I can’t have a fucking baby! This wasn’t supposed to get this real!”
“This real?” You had chuckled bitterly, “You stay with me for 3 years, fuck me over more than I can count then you always come crying for me, then tell me it wasn’t supposed to get this real?” You stood up, draping your bag over your shoulder, “I’m having the kid, Will. It’s over between us and-“ you gulped, swallowing back the tears as you pointed at him, “I never want to see you again.”
“You bet your fucking ass you won’t.” He had grumbled, tearing eye contact to look somewhere else but your death glare before you left.
Besides the university halls, Will had managed to stay out of your sight and you were grateful for that. Pregnancy was a roller-coaster, one you definitely screamed during all ride of, but nothing and nobody prepared you for the moment when you gave birth to your little love.
Your roommate and best friend, Cece, had driven you to the hospital and notified the rest of your family and friends, and you were glad that during that very period of time, you had someone beside you.
It was when you held your little love that it all faded away; the pain, the loss, the confusion, the fright – everything faded away the moment your skin made contact with your daughter’s, watching her with pure love and admiration.
You hadn’t picked a name before that moment, only nodding and smiling to the showering of recommendation from people, but one name wasn’t recommended, not even mentioned.
“Faith. You’re my little Faith.”
“You’re looking a little sick, honey. Have you been eating well? You overwork yourself-”
“Mom, mom,” you laughed quietly, tearing your eyes from watching your daughter play with her cousins before looking at your mom beside you, “I’m alright. Last project was challenging, that’s all.”
“Who were you writing for this time?” your mom asked with pride and excitement, curious to know the name of yet another big celebrity her daughter had been working with.
“Adele.” You smirked as you sipped your juice, hearing your mom gasp with a hand to her heart before letting out a small squeal.
In her dungarees and sandals, Faith ran towards you, making you set your juice aside to welcome your daughter in your arms. “Mommy, did you see me win Tag?”
“Yes! You were amazing!” You hyped your daughter up, pressing a sloppy kiss on her cheek, making Faith giggle.
With Faith standing between your legs, talking to her grandma, you checked your watch. “Ah, shoot. I better get going.”
“Will you be here for bedtime story?” Faith asked, looking up at you as you slung on your tote bag and held your car key in one hand before kneeling in front of your daughter.
“I will be, baby. Don’t give Nana a hard time, okay?”
“Okay, Mommy.”
“I love you.” With one last hug and a kiss on her cheek, you smiled at your daughter who clung to your neck, pressing a sweet kiss on her cheek.
“I love you.” Faith replied, moving to stand with her nephew after waving at you as you left.
“Call me at any time if anything happens or if you need anything, Mom, yeah?” You said as you walked towards the door, your mother following behind.
“Wouldn’t want to disturb your wo-”
“Mom.” You stressed, turning to look at your mom, “Nothing like that. I’ll get going. Thank you for watching her.”
“Oh, don’t thank me. You know I love spending time with little Faith more than anything. Drive safely, honey.”
//
“Hey, Andrew, got you a donut.” You beamed as you approached the studio’s receptionist, a 19-year-old intern.
“You’re an angel.” Andrew sighed in contentment as he opened the box containing his donut before looking at you, “Just adopt me. I guarantee I’ll be the best brother to Faith.”
You laughed, “Think having a 19-year-old son will make me feel old. I’ll pass.”
“Dammit.” Andrew shook his head jokingly. “Meeting with Jeffery Azoff, huh?”
“Yeah, do you know if he got here yet?”
“Like 3 minutes ago.”
You checked your watch again, finding that it was just on time for your scheduled meeting, feeling glad that you weren’t late.
“Alright, I’ll see you on the way out.” You waved at Andrew who nodded at you while raising his donut before you set off down the hall and into the elevator.
Walking out and down the hallway, you approached the room you had agreed to meet Jeffrey in before knocking softly, hearing a distant “come in!”
Gently opening the door and sticking your head inside, your eyes moved to the couch where 2 men looked up at you; one was Jeffrey – you had seen pictures of him from when you worked once with his father – and the other was, undoubtedly in your mind, none other than Harry Styles.
“Y/N?” Jeff asked, him and Harry standing as you walked in and closed the door behind you, approaching them.
“Yes,” you smiled, reaching for a handshake which he had happily accepted, “It’s great meeting you.”
Harry’s eyes were set on you, a small smile on his face that did everything but mirror the surprise he felt. He wasn’t sure why; he didn’t have any expectations but he certainly didn’t expect to see someone as radiant as you were.
You looked at him next with a polite smile as you reached for a handshake, “Pleasure meeting you. I’m a huge fan of your work.”
And God, his stomach flipped and his face flushed at the comment, feeling shy under your gaze as he shook your hand, “Thank you so much. Can say the same about your work, you’re very talented.”
“Thanks!” You beamed before motioning towards the couch, the 3 of you sitting down; Harry and Jeff on the couch, you on a chair across from them. “Do you want anything to drink?”
“No, thanks. Had the biggest cup of coffee just before coming here.” Jeff replied.
You turned to look at Harry, smiling and nodding when he raised his bottle of water.
“Alright, let’s get into it,” you leaned forward, “How can I help you?”
Jeff looked at Harry, signaling for him to talk.
“I know it hasn’t been a year since I released Fine Line,” Harry moved his hands as he talked, looking at the carpeted floor underneath him before looking up at you, “But I’ve been writing ever since but- something is missing. Something is wrong. I wrote 9 tracks so far, all of them are unfinished because I just feel like they’re missing something. I have the idea, have the concepts, sometimes I have the tunes,” he counted on his fingers, “But I can’t finish one song. It’s like I’m, like,” he shrugged, trying to find the right word.
“Stuck?” You suggested, staring at him with an assuring expression which he found soothing.
Harry’s body slumped, tilting his head slightly as he looked back at you and a soft, small smile made its way to his face at how you understood. “Yeah,” he nodded, “Yeah, stuck. That’s the word.”
“I get you,” you assured him, “Do you guys have any sort of deadline?”
“No, not really, no. Not yet.” Jeff shook his head.
“Great,” you clapped, your eyebrows going up, “Do you have any of these tracks’ lyrics now?”
“Yeah, lemme just-“ Harry reached beside him, holding his tote bag to take out his journal.
“Hey!” You grinned, grabbing his attention and making him look at you, seeing you holding out your tote bag to him.
You matched; right on the fabric in the middle was an illustrated design of a small cactus plant pot.
“I have the same one!” You looked down at yours before looking at him, Harry mirroring your actions before a grin broke out on his face.
“Well then, Y/N, it’s set. These will be the best songwriting sessions of the century. It’s fate.” He said dramatically in a joking manner, making you laugh quietly as you set your bag aside and he fished out his journal.
Flipping through the pages, he handed you his journal so you can see one of the songs he had half-written, watching as leaned back on the comfy chair, holding the journal in your hands and reading.
It was excruciating. Harry grew nervous, feeling funny in his stomach and he tried to convince himself that it might be the salad he had eaten prior to that meeting, and not that he was nervous you’d think he was the worst songwriter to-date.
He watched your eyes, taking notice of how you didn’t skim through the words, but read them carefully and taking your time to do so.
“This is really beautiful, Harry.” You said softly, eyes still on the page before looking up at him, oblivious to the breath Harry let out, “Really beautiful.”
“Thank you.” He smiled, discreetly wiping his sweaty hands on his pants.
“Not much damage really. The concept is clear. Post-breakup song.” You said, handing him his journal.
Harry nodded, confirming.
“Are the rest like that, too?”
“Not really,” Harry shook his head, “Figured that the last album had too many of that.”
You nodded, “Yeah, I understand. Just- I say take your time, honestly. I’ll help you with the songs you have, maybe we’d get inspired along the way to write new stuff, too, but you don’t want to force anything, you know? Sometimes some lyrics just aren’t meant to be, you know?”
“Yeah, you’re right.” He nodded.
“Don’t you worry,” you gave him a smile, “It’ll all work out.”
“Well, so do we have a deal?” Jeff asked with a smile, opening his arms.
“I’m in.”
Maybe it was because you said that as you looked at him, or maybe it was because he knew of how crazy talented you were – he had spoken to his good friend Ed Sheeran a week prior and Ed had sworn up and down on your talent and how “bloody lovely! Like a little bird” you were – or maybe it your smile – hell, it might be a combination of all that, but Harry was ecstatic to work with you.
“I’m very excited to work with you, Y/N.” Harry had said with a smile of his own.
“Likewise, Harry. It isn’t that common to find artists as real as you are.”
God, what was with your compliments that had him blushing?
“It’s a pleasure, Y/N,” Jeff, too, had said. “Let’s talk busi-”
“Let’s do that over lunch.” You pointed at him, standing up, “My treat.”
“You always this friendly with clients?” Harry joked with an amused smile, staring up at you.
But your smile dropped and instead, your face twisted to worry. “Oh God, I hope I’m not stepping boundaries. It’s just always a good idea to warm up to each other and- I’m sorry, you probably think this is unpro-”
“Hey, hey, no,” Harry was quick to stand, holding his hands out, “I didn’t mean it like that. I genuinely think you’re friendly. Half of the songwriters I worked with were strict and- Shit, no. Lunch sounds wonderful. Really wonderful.”
He felt like an ass. A proper one. He hadn’t meant to make you feel like you were too friendly but that didn’t turn out as well as he had thought.
“We’d love to, really. Besides, it’s probably a great idea that you and Harry know each other so the sessions can go smooth.” Jeff added, standing up.
At this, Harry found himself smiling when the smile returned to your face. “In that case, there’s a place nearby that makes amazing sandwiches and desserts.”
Jeff’s mind was squeaking from its gears working. There weren’t many people on this planet who were purely kind, and it was something he admired in Harry. But at that moment, Jeff knew he had met one more person who was genuinely kind, just like his best friend and “client” – he hated calling Harry that – and it was proof when you insisted that you could give them a ride to and from the place instead of them following behind you or using the GPS, Jeff sitting in the passenger seat during the ride to the place while Harry sat at the back.
The place was a 5-tabeled one, nothing big. One wall was decorated with polaroids of customers, the waiters and waitresses, the chefs, and another with colorful stick-notes with messages from customers. It was a lowkey place, one that Harry hadn’t visited during all his trips to the studio until that moment.
“Hey, Y/N!” The woman behind the counter beamed as she waved.
“Hi, Soph! How are you?”
Soph stood from the chair she was sitting on, taking a few steps back to show her pregnant bump, putting one hand to it, “Ready to pop!”
You had motioned towards a table to Harry and Jeff who were quietly watching the interaction.
You gasped, “Look at you! And you’re still coming to work? What a queen.”
Soph shrugged, sitting back down, “Got mouths to feed and a self to pamper.” She said before waving at Harry and Jeff, “Hello, gentlemen.”
Jeff waved with a smile while Harry added, “Hello! Congratulations on your pregnancy.”
“Why thank you, Mr. Styles.” Soph replied.
Harry liked it. The no-freaking-out. How homey it all felt.
“Rick will be with you in a sec.” Soph said.
You, Harry, and Jeff sat on the circular table, both Harry and you hanging your tote bags on their chairs.
“You come here often, huh?” Harry started the conversation, crossing his arms on the table and leaning forward.
“You have no idea. You’d think I don’t know anywhere else.” You chuckled, “Been coming here ever since I was in college.”
Harry’s eyebrows went up in surprise, “Really? How long ago was that?”
“Graduated 3 years ago, first came when I was 19 so that’s about 6 years.”
“True loyal customer you are.” Harry said.
“What did you study, Y/N?” Jeff asked.
“Music composition. Was the disgrace of the family.” You joked, “Definitely had no idea the entire time if I would actually work or not.”
“But look at you now, one of the best.” Harry motioned towards you.
You waved him off with a bashful smile, “None of that. I still have no idea what I’m doing most of the time, I just get paid now.”
“Who even knows what they’re doing now?” Harry rhetorically asked, “We’re just, going with the flow.”
“Word, sir. Word.” They heard, the 3 of them turning to see the waiter – Rick – by their table.
Harry laughed, “Right?”
“Absolutely. I don’t remember the last time my plans didn’t get fucked. Just riding now.” Rick shrugged.
Harry raised his fist up for a bump, Rick bumping his fist into Harry’s.
Time seemed to pass as Harry and Jeff let you order for them, talking about the music industry and sharing funny stories while at it, as well as you had discussed your own business as you ate the club sandwiches and sipped on the iced tea.
“What are you doing?” You asked with a funny face as Harry took out his wallet after you had asked for the check.
“Paying?”
“Yeah, no. Said it’d be my treat.” You pointed at him, raising one eyebrow with a smile.
“Come on, I can’t just let you pay for us on the first day we meet.”
“Let’s at least split the bill.” Jeff suggested, watching as you shook your head.
“Absolutely not.” And with that, you stood up and walked towards Soph, paying for the food.
“How much do you want to bet that something will happen between the both of you?” Jeff asked quickly with a smirk, looking at Harry with a knowing look.
Harry’s eyes widened, tearing his gaze from being on you to his friend and manager, “What?”
“How much?”
“I just met her.” Harry tried to reason with him, finding Jeff to be bizarre and irrational. Hopeful, but irrational.
Jeff only gave him a shrug, “That’s a first.”
“That’s enough rom-coms at night for you, Jeffrey.”
At the sight of you walking back towards them, they both stopped talking and instead, smiled. “All sorted.”
“Thank you so much, Y/N. You really didn’t have to.” Harry stood, slinging his tote bag on his shoulder.
“I wanted to. Please don’t mention it.” You had smiled as you replied, the 3 of you putting back your chairs. “Bye, Soph!”
“Bye, sweetie!”
“Congratulations again on your pregnancy and good luck.” Harry put both hands together, pursing his lips into a polite smile at the woman behind the counter.
“You’re a sweetheart. Thank you, kind sir.” Soph joked, tipping an imaginary hat at him to which Harry responded to by holding up the tips of his imaginary skirt, putting one foot behind the other in a curtsy making you giggle.
With no spoken words, Jeff was quick to get into the backseat, pursing his lips to stifle his laughter at Harry’s face, who looked at him with wide eyes and an expression that screamed “What the fuck are you doing?” but he got into the passenger seat nonetheless, oblivious to the light shade of red that visited his cheeks but aware of the heat his face seemed to radiate.
The ride back to the studio wasn’t quiet. The radio was on for some background music but you and Harry were too engaged in a conversation to take notice of the songs playing. Anyone could have asked you what even started the conversation of French toast and you wouldn’t know how to reply because none of you knew how you suddenly began talking about French toast.
“Have you tried soaking the toast in lemon?” You asked, tone excited and face breaking into an eager smile.
Harry’s eyebrows furrowed, “Haven’t, no. How good is it?”
“God, it’s,” you shook your head, almost closing your eyes in delight as if you tasted the toast that moment but refrained because you were driving, “It’s so good.”
So what Harry secretly wished the ride was longer? He wanted to talk about French toast. That was definitely why.
“Y/N, it’s a pleasure working with you.” Jeff said, “Thank you for the food.”
“It’s no problem.” You smiled at him, turning around to look at him once you were parked.
“I’ll wait for you in the car.” Jeff said, patting Harry’s shoulder before getting out of the car.
Harry took a breath, slapping his hands against his thighs, “Well, that was fun.”
You nodded, looking back at him with a bashful smile that you mentally scolded yourself for; why were you getting bashful?
“Is it alright if I take your number from Jeff?” Harry asked quickly, “Uh, so we can schedule meeting up for the sessions.” He quickly added, “The writing sessions.” He nearly cringed at his addition and he guessed you caught on because you giggled quietly before straightening your posture.
“Actually, Jeff has my business number. Maybe you can just, take my personal one so I can reply faster. You know, the sooner the better.” You cleared your throat, nodding to yourself.
Harry’s lips stretched into a side smile as he looked at you before he coughed and nodded, “Definitely. The sooner you reply, the sooner we meet. For the writing sessions.”
“Yeah and I can give you the lemon toast recipe.” You said before your eyebrows rose up, “For business purposes, of course.”
Harry’s smile widened at that, holding out his phone for you to take after he unlocked it. “I’d love that.”
You typed in your number before handing his phone back to him, watching as Harry glanced down at it before your phone began ringing, “And that’s mine.” He said, watching you unlock you phone and type before you locked it back.
“Then it’s settled.”
“I’ll text you.” He smiled before opening the door and standing out, ducking to look at you, “Next time, lunch is on me.” And with that, Harry gave you a wave before closing the door and walking away, only giving you a smile over your shoulder and another wave before getting into the car with Jeff.
After getting some snacks from the grocery’s with a shit-eating grin on your face, you drove back to your mom’s to pick Faith up.
You stood on the other side of your car, watching the door open before you saw Faith, her backpack on her back with her grandma standing behind her.
At the sight of her Mommy, Faith was quick to grin before running to you and into you arms as if she hadn’t seen you 4 hours ago.
You hugged your daughter, pressing a kiss to her hair as you did. “Did you have fun?”
Faith nodded before she pulled away from the hug, still keeping her arms around you, “What about you? Did you have fun, Mommy?”
You almost blushed as you remembered, opting to reply a simple reply instead of getting into details. “I did. Ready to go?”
//
After giving Faith a shower and giving yourself one, too, you and Faith were sat in the comfort of your cozy apartment, sitting on the couch and watching The Greatest Showman for the umpteenth time seen as it was Faith’s favorite. With her cheddar cheese and lettuce sandwich in her right hand and favorite dinosaur toy in the other – a “Megalosaurus not a T-Rex, Mommy” – Faith was cuddling into your side while one hand of yours played with her wild hair as the other tapped absentmindedly on your phone’s screen, eyes set on the television.
“And if it’s crazy, live a little crazy.” Faith sang along with Hugh Jackman, eyes wide as if she was seeing the movie for the first time.
“You can play it sensible, a king of conventional.” You joined her, peppering kisses on her cheek causing her to squeal and giggle.
As Faith sang along with the song, you opened your phone’s camera before switching it to video, flipping the camera so that it was the front one. You started recording, the screen showing you your face as you smiled with pride, tilting it so Faith was shown as she sang, unaware of you recording.
Only 12 seconds into the video, a message pop-up had your eyes traveling to it, falling on a text preview from none other than the young man you were with that day – Harry.
‘Hey, Y/N. Sorry to bother but would you be able to send me that lemon toast recipe? Might treat myself to it tomorrow morning. Sorry for the bother. :) Harry’
After stopping the video and opening the text and reading it, if it weren’t for Faith, you wouldn’t have known that you had a grin on your face.
“Why are you smiling so big? Did Auntie Cece send a picture of her cat?” She had asked, looking up at you with curiosity.
Looking down at her, you laughed slightly at yourself. “No, she didn’t.”
“You look happy.”
There were many things you loved about your daughter, many things you were in awe at. As only a kid, Faith was one of the most empathetic people in your life and that moment as you both cuddled on the couch was proof.
With a matching grin, Faith’s eyes twinkled with glee at the sight of her smiling mom, curious to know the reason.
“They aren’t singing This Is Me yet!” Faith added, knowing that the both of you usually laughed and giggled while singing that song, only because you always sang it so dramatically and at the top of your lungs.
“Just happy you’re finally done with the sandwich because now I can do this!” And with that, you tickled her, Faith breaking into laughter and giggles as she tried to stop you.
5 minutes later, Faith was back to watching the movie while you typed a reply.
‘hey, harry! it isn’t a bother 😊 i’ll write it down and send it in a moment :))’
‘Thank you! x’
And you wrote it down and sent it to him, adding little notes, too just to make sure that he perfected the toast.
‘let me know how that goes for you :) x’
‘Will do, love. Talk to you soon. Goodnight :) x’
‘goodnight, harry x’
As if your little love took that as a sign, you looked down at her as you felt her body grow heavier against you and noticed her breath get steady, seeing her eyes closed as she snoozed.
Carefully, you turned off the television before holding her with your arm so she didn’t fall down as you stood, bending to carry her before kneeling a little to grab her fallen dinosaur, letting out a tiny groan as your back ached.
Tucking her in her bed, you sat beside her for a moment, brushing her hair back softly before bending to kiss her forehead.
“Story?” She sleepily asked, struggling to open her eyes.
You chuckled, “You’re already asleep, nugget.”
She hummed, still struggling to open her eyes, “Okay. I love you.”
“I love you, too.” You smiled before standing up, walking towards her small vanity and turning on her star light lamp.
Just as you were out of the door, you lingered, turning to look back at your daughter, “Was I really smiling big?”
In her sleepy state, Faith managed to reply. “Very big, Mommy.”
You chuckled to yourself and shook your head before walking out and towards your own room.
//
Harry felt like a kid. He was too excited that morning to get up and get on with his breakfast, wanting to deny that it wasn’t because he wanted a reason to text you, but who was he trying to lie to? No one, he was alone.
He followed the recipe, chuckling and laughing to himself during some moments when he was about to fall for some mistakes before reading your notes and saving his toasts, as if you were sitting right there and monitoring him.
His playlist was playing from his phone that he held in his hand, and he was humming along as he placed the two toasts on a plate before adding some powdered sugar to them and grabbing his juice.
Before eating, Harry had taken his time in taking a picture of his breakfast, thankful for the natural light his kitchen window was giving for his little photoshoot.
He was just as much nervous as excited as he sliced up a piece before taking a bite, taking his time to taste his work and his eyebrows shot up and he blinked twice in surprise.
It was so good.
While eating another slice, Harry held his phone and opened his messages app, going to your contact.
Attaching the best picture from his breakfast photoshoot, he added a text with it,
‘Tastes incredible! Would have burned it to coal if it weren’t for your notes hahah x’
And he put his phone back on the table, open at your messages as he continued eating while listening to music.
He was mid-sip of his juice when you replied and Harry hated how excited he got because the next thing he knew, he was having a coughing fit that had him go tearful before finally calming down.
‘looks incredible, too! oh trust me, i know. burned a fair amount of toasts on my own so i decided to spare you the damage. you’re a quick learner :)) x’
That morning, you and Harry exchanged multiple texts, drifting from his breakfast to how you both wished to have dogs.
It was around 4 when you were driving back with Faith from her gymnastics practice when Harry called, thankfully just as you were unlocking the door to your apartment.
“Hey.” You smiled to yourself as you answered, taking off your shoes by the door beside Faith’s before closing the door behind you, watching as Faith went to the bathroom to wash her hands.
“Hi,” Harry, too, was smiling to himself as he held the phone close to his ear, “I was walking around and I found this tiny restaurant that reminded me of where you took us yesterday and, apparently they make the best Italian pizza. Was wondering if you wanted to grab pizza with me and we can talk about, you know,” he chuckled, “The sessions.”
You thought, mind instantly going to who would watch Faith as you went before your eyes fell on your daughter who came back, whispering to you if she should wait for you in the bathroom seen as you were on the phone.
“One second,” you said to Harry before moving the phone from your ear and muting the sound, “Yeah, baby, do that. I’ll be with you in a minute.”
You unmuted, “Hey, sorry about that.”
“No worries.”
He was growing nervous at how you were yet to reply to his suggestion, having already had been nervous enough to suggest and call in the first place.
“Pizza and talking sound lovely.”
He released a breath, smiling to himself. “Great, great! Pick you up at 6?”
“Sure, yeah. 6 is great. I’ll go now. See you soon, Harry.”
“See you soon, Y/N.”
You didn’t trust strangers to watch your daughter, didn’t exactly trust strangers in your house unattended, too. It’s why at times when you couldn’t drive the 40-minute drive to your mom’s, your best friend, Cece, was always your go-to and that was especially nice because she also lived two buildings away.
Cece’s job was one from her home, making food and delivering it to people while she managed her business on her own through social media and it was why most of the time, she was home and always happy to have her goddaughter keep her company.
After calling Cece to make sure she was okay with babysitting Faith for some time and her assuring you that she was, you prepared dinner for your daughter after giving her a shower.
“Are you sure you’re okay with me leaving, baby?” You asked as you sat with Faith while she ate the pasta you made her.
It wasn’t frequent of you to leave Faith for anything but work. Maybe for a night out with some friends every now and then but you always went out with them for 3 hours tops before you began feeling guilty for leaving your daughter and going back to get her so you can spend time together instead.
And it wasn’t like you were frequently going on dates either. Cece had pushed you into it when Faith was 2, and you did go out a few times with different people, all whom you never heard of whenever they knew that you had a daughter and then you decided that maybe the single mom life was just too welcoming of you.
Hell, you didn’t know whether you should call having pizza with Harry a date. It wasn’t, was it? Not that you’d mind but it was for business, wasn’t it? Strictly business. Or maybe it wasn’t and that was fine by you- and now you were beginning to feel like a teenager again. Great.
“Mommy,” Your 4-year-old huffed, rolling her eyes, “I’m a big girl. You should have more fun.”
You couldn’t believe that you were getting advice from a 4-year-old, especially your daughter, but you deserved that.
“When did you get so big?” You rhetorically asked, “Thank you for being understanding, Nugget.”
Faith smiled at you, kicking her legs as she ate. “Where are you going?”
Now that question you weren’t prepared for, as much as you thought about it.
You couldn’t risk telling too much to Faith, knowing that she got excited over new people and couldn’t risk disappointing her if Harry ended up being, well, not one to stick or friendly to kids of single moms.
But at the same time, your daughter was your best friend. It was because of your honesty with her and how you acknowledge her and treat her that she was an understanding and empathetic person who could hold a conversation.
“Well, you know Harry Styles? The man who sings Canyon Moon?” You asked, knowing that that song was on her top favorite songs list after she had heard it once on the radio as you were driving her to her practice.
She nodded, “The pretty man with drawings?”
She had been curious to see the face behind her favorite song and once you showed her a picture, her smile got big and she had said that he was “very pretty” and had “nice drawings that she wanted to color in” meaning his tattoos.
You chuckled, “Yes, that one.” Again, Faith nodded. “Well, I’m helping him with his songs and I’m going to have dinner with him tonight.” You said, crossing your arms on the table.
Faith dropped her fork, looking at you with wide eyes and an open mouth, causing you to laugh heartfully at your daughter. “Mommy, really?!”
You nodded, opening your phone’s camera to record her, Faith not caring.
“Mommy you’re meeting Harry Styles!”
“I am,” you laughed, “Are you happy?”
“Very happy I’m going to cry!” She gasped, “Can I see him? Please, Mommy, please!”
“I don’t know, Nugget. I might have to ask him.”
“Do you think he’ll say no?” She frowned, “I can wear my Harry dress!”
And by her Harry dress, she meant the Fine Line black tee you had bought her, and even though it was sized small, she was only a toddler so you had resulted for her to wear it as a dress after you had trimmed it and its sleeves and had your mom fit it as tight as she could without damaging it. Needless to say, whenever your daughter wore the oversized tee dress, you had to snap multiple pictures of her because she always looked too adorable and fashionable in it.
“I don’t know what he’ll say but I’ll ask him. And yes, you can. You always look adorable in it.” You smiled, still recording her.
“Can you tell him I love his songs? I love Canyon Moon so much an-Oh! And Sunflower, too!” She grinned, “Are you going to show him this video?” Faith asked as she looked at you.
You shrugged, “You want me to?”
She nodded excitedly before looking at the camera, “Mr. Harry, I love you very much, sir. I hope I can see you but Mommy said she’ll ask you so please say yes. Make Mommy happy, not sad. Goodnight, sir.”
Your heart might have as well exploded that moment as she waved before you ended the video.
As if he was waiting for you to finish, your phone began ringing the moment you stopped recording, finding Harry calling you which made you instantly pick up the moment Faith began eating again.
“Hey, do you like strawberries?” He asked, the moment you picked up.
Your eyebrows furrowed in confusion but a silly smile took over your face nonetheless, “Uh, yes?”
“Alright, great. I’ll see you soon. Bye!”
//
To make matters easier, once Harry had texted you that he was 2 minutes away, you grabbed your bag and left your apartment and into the elevator before walking outside your building, just in time to see a yellow Ferrari Dino pull up.
You smiled at him, watching as he parked before getting out, “Did I keep you waiting for long?” He asked as he approached you.
“No, just came down.” You answered, watching as he reluctantly slightly opened his arms. He was a hugger.
You wrapped your arms around him in a greeting hug, taking notice of how good he smelled. Just as good as he looked; he was in off-white textured knit Wales Bonner polo, paired with his Gucci flared denim pants and off-white Converse. Nobody should be allowed to look that good in casual clothes.
It wasn’t like Harry’s mind wasn’t doing flips at that moment, too. Instead of smelling like overpriced perfume, you smelled like coconut and roses; a refreshing smell that made Harry’s smile deepen enough for his dimple to make appearance. You, too, were in casual clothes; violet colored cropped culottes, a white tee tucked inside, white sneakers on, a black and white cross-bag and your hair was up in a messy ponytail that was kept by a hairband but you wrapped a black and white head bandana around the band just for the looks.
You looked effortlessly beautiful.
You both walked to his car, Harry opening the door for you before grabbing something from the passenger seat before you sat – a bouquet of strawberries.
“Didn’t know what type of flowers you like so,” he said before extending the bouquet towards you with sweetest and giddiest smile, “Hope that’s okay.”
You almost melted, your face changing to a pout as your head tilted to look at him while you accepted the bouquet, “This is so nice of you. Thank you, I love it.”
Alright so you don’t get strawberry bouquets to people you aren’t going on dates with, right?
The ride to the little pizzeria was nice – comfortably nice. You had shared the strawberries there and your stomach did a thousand flips when you offered Harry one only to have him open his mouth,
“I’m driving.”
And then he opened his mouth again, biting the strawberry you offered with your hand, laughing when it was about to drip on him if it weren’t for your fast reflexes – thank motherhood for that – as you held out your other hand beneath his chin.
By sharing strawberries, you mean you ate some as well as fed Harry some.
You both mentally took notice of how conversations flowed so effortlessly between you, as if you had met years ago and not just a day. Hell, even the texts were random and messy as well as entertaining and fun.
The drive wasn’t a long one, only about 20 minutes before Harry was parking in front of a place called ‘La Pizza’.
You both went outside the car, you waiting for Harry by your side as he walked towards you.
You might as well have melted right there and then when you felt Harry’s hand, very gently, on your back. It was very gentle, you almost didn’t notice and you felt that he was just making sure that he wasn’t making you uncomfortable but it was a reflex action of his. Nonetheless, you appreciated the concern and decided to show him that it was okay to touch you when you touched his arm as you both walked through the door.
Harry gulped, feeling hot as you touched him and he almost scolded himself because it only lasted for a second, yet there he was, getting flustered already. What the fuck was going on with him?
A waitress greeted the both of you, smiling widely as she motioned for you to follow her inside the place.
“There are more tables on the roof, would you want to check that?”
Harry looked at you the same moment you did at him, both of you nodding to each other to say that you wouldn’t mind.
“That would be great, thank you.” Harry said, smiling politely at the waitress who nodded and walked in front of you with the both of you following her up the stairs, Harry’s hand now more comfortably on your back as he walked behind you.
The roof was beautiful; cliché but beautiful fairy lights of small globe bulbs hung above the place, only 3 tables there, each at a good amount of distance from each other.
“Would you want to sit here or downstairs?”
Harry looked at you, you giving him a nod. “Here would be fine.”
The waitress nodded before guiding you towards a 2-chaired table. Harry had sat you down first before moving to his chair.
“Thank you.” You both said in unison as the waiter placed 2 menus in front of the both of you.
“I’ll be back to take your orders.” She smiled before leaving.
“Looks good.” You smiled at him before looking down at the menu.
“Didn’t know they had a roof.” Harry said, “This saved me.” He chuckled.
You looked up with confusion, “Saved you from what?”
Harry shrugged, now growing nervous. “Uh, wasn’t sure if taking you out for the first time here was chivalrous enough because it felt too casual, like a friends thing and not a date but now here seems right.”
He wished the ground he was on would split and swallow him whole. Wished to crawl up a hole and cry.
There were things he was practicing on on the way to you; like how he would hide that he was a nervous wreck, how he was excited to spend time with you, how he knew almost every single song you worked on, and finally, how he wouldn’t spill that he thought that was a date, no matter how much he wanted it to be.
You were amused. Contrary to how Harry truly felt, you thought it was nice that he was straightforward.
“Figured this wasn’t too casual the moment you gave me the strawberry bouquet, Harry.” You smiled, assuring him that you were okay with this being a date.
Looks like it wasn’t business after all.
Harry chuckled, raising an eyebrow, “That was nice, wasn’t it?”
You laughed, “Yes. Don’t think I was ever given a bouquet of fruit so yeah. Really nice.”
You both went through the menu, commenting on some plates and ingredients as you did and contemplating together.
“Maybe we should just get two pizzas and share, so we can try more than one option.” You suggested.
“Good idea.” He agreed, “What do you think of Quattro Formaggi?”
“Ooo, yes.” You then pointed on another topping, “Pizza Melanzane?”
“Yes.” Harry closed his menu with a nod.
Shortly after, your waitress came back and took your order before leaving.
“Finished a song yesterday.”
Your eyes widened as you took a sip of water before putting the glass back down, “Really?”
Harry nodded, “Yeah. A new one.”
“You mean you wrote a new one? Not finished writing one you already had?”
Again, he nodded, putting his arms on the table. “New. Very much new.”
You grinned at him, “That’s amazing. What is it about?”
Alright maybe he didn’t think that one through. He did write a song the previous night and he was proud of it and his gut did tell him that it would make it to the list of his next album, but telling you about it on your first – and he hoped it wasn’t the last – date? Well, not so ideal.
“It’s about opening up to someone new. Trying love again and unraveling yourself to the other person.”
Maybe it was because of your situation, but your breath hitched in your throat.
“You know when you get fucked from an ex and love as whole and you think that you don’t want to go through that again and you, like, close off,” Harry explained, “And it’s like you’re immune to feeling any sort of love or interest in anyone after that. Sure, maybe some sexual attraction here and there, but never something wholesome, you know?” He motioned with one of his rings clad hands as he talked, “But then you meet someone and you feel like a teenager or something,” he chuckled, “And it’s a nice feeling, it’s wonderful, that you start thinking that, hey,” he tilted his head, “Maybe I can do this again.”
You were speechless.
You were a woman of words, hell, you worked with words, but right then, you barely remembered the alphabets.
“You- You get me, right?” Harry asked.
You broke out of your trance, nodding absentmindedly, “Yeah, yeah, I,” you paused, an airy chuckle leaving your throat, “Man do I get you.”
He smiled in amusement, “Relatable?”
“Too much, you had me by surprise.” You answered honestly, releasing a breath.
It wasn’t a surprise to Harry that somebody broke your heart; it was always the good ones who got their hearts broken and got fucked over, always the givers.
But he couldn’t shake the feeling of shock at who would possibly have you at arm’s length, with the ability to kiss and cuddle you, and decide to break your heart?
See, maybe Harry had just met you but you know when you meet someone good. Someone kind. Especially when you’re in an industry that is full of shitty people and too many cold snobs.
“When was it?”
You understood his question, understanding that he meant to ask you about when your heart got broken – when somebody fucked you over.
“5 years ago.” You answered, “You?”
“2.”
“Cheers.” You joked, raising your glass of water to clink it to his, chuckling when he did clink them.
“5 years is a long time.” He commented, gentle with his tone as were his eyes.
“It is,” you agreed, “Got over him, really.”
“You met someone after?”
His question made you think again of your answer, causing you to giggle before correcting yourself, “Got over him as a person but not over the whole thing.”
Harry chuckled, “So no.”
You shook your head, “No. Didn’t have the heart to.” And even though your sentence carried double meanings, you took a mental note of that same sentence just for future songwriting sessions. “What about you? Met anyone after it?”
“Not really,” he shook his head, “Friends set me up with some people but it never went further than a day.”
“You don’t click?”
“No,” Harry answered before a small smile made its way to his face, “I didn’t.”
Your face grew hot, breaking eye contact to glance beside you for a moment.
“How long did it take to write that song yesterday?” You asked, turning back to look at him, growing more flustered to see that he was already looking at you with the same smile.
“Think 25 minutes.”
Your eyes widened, “Inspiration really did hit you, Harry, huh?”
“Grabbed the journal and guitar and I just ran to the studio at home, and it just,” he shrugged, “Happened.”
“Let it keep hitting you like that and we won’t be working together.” You said with a smirk.
“Then I’ll purposely distract myself whenever it hits me so I can see you.” Harry was quick to reply, a smug smile of his own on his face.
“Oh my God.” You whispered under your breath, shaking your head as you covered your face, hearing Harry laugh before feeling his hands on yours, guiding them down.
Shortly after, your waitress was back with your orders; both pizzas looking mouthwatering.
You and Harry decided against utensils, exchanging slices with your hands and granted, as Harry had said, they did make the best Italian pizza.
//
After the pizza and paying, you and Harry had grabbed ice cream from the parlor right next to the pizzeria before sitting in the car, remaining parked as you laughed about everything and anything.
“And I had no idea that Paul McCartney was right behind me the entire time. It was awful!” You finished, laughing more at how hard Harry was laughing at your story.
“Would’ve changed my name and moved out of this planet if I were you.” He teased you as he regained his breath.
“Oh, shut up!” You laughed, rolling your eyes at him.
Harry laughed, reaching out to place a hand on yours, “I’m sorry, I’m sorry. Embarrassing shit happens to me everyday, too. On stage is the worst.”
You tried to ignore the tingly feeling that rushed within you at his hand over yours, but good heavens, you were a goner. “The falls?”
“At some point I thought it was good my tour got postponed because I see myself falling during most of the songs. Imagine Watermelon Sugar, I’d be a clown.”
You laughed, “Probably so,” you teased him, batting your eyelashes jokingly when he feigned shock, “But really, you’re an amazing performer. I actually have been to one of your shows once.”
Harry’s eyes widened and as did his smile, “No way.”
You nodded, “The one in Glasgow in November.”
“You’re telling me that we were in the same room and-“ Harry paused, shaking his heads as he let out a chuckle of disbelief, “Wow. Alright. Did you have anyone with you?”
“Was just me and Faith.” You answered nonchalantly, only realizing once you did before your looked intently at Harry.
“Is that a best friend?” He asked, “Did they enjoy the show?”
“She did, yeah. Very actually,” You chuckled, remember how surprised you were at how 2-year-old Faith at the time was actually very interested and was dancing in your arms the entire time. “And she is my best friend at some point but she’s my daughter.”
You didn’t know what you were expecting but you definitely weren’t expecting Harry to grin excitedly.
“You have a daughter?”
“Uh, yeah,” you nodded, a small smile on your face as you inspected him, “I do. She turns 5 in December.”
Harry only seemed to get more excited at the news, which made your heart flutter at the sight of.
“Do you have a picture?”
“Yeah, of course,” you smiled more then, eager to show him your beautiful girl before unlocking your phone and opening your photos album, only to find the most recent addition to it – the video. “Hey, actually, she wanted me to show you something.”
You gave Harry the phone to watch better, most of the time keeping your eyes on him. Harry’s cheeks sported a shade of red at how highly your daughter spoke of him, laughing and giggling to himself as he watched.
“Nooo, I won’t say no. I’d love to meet her.” He cooed, continuing to watch.
As the video ended, Harry handed you back the phone, “Please let me meet her. And what’s that Harry dress?”
And so you told him about your adventure with the tee, to which his heart seemed to grow a thousand times more at.
“I wasn’t aware kids loved me, I’m sorry you couldn’t find her size.” Harry frowned, feeling genuinely bad.
“Hey, no,” you assured him, putting your other hand on his – that was still resting on yours – “Don’t worry about it. You don’t exactly sing the alphabetics, Mr. sex-inspired-my-last-album-and-I-made-it-on-shrooms.”
Harry giggled, shrugging at you.
You both talked some more, only about Faith. Harry’s eyes were wide with admiration when you told him about how you raised her alone – also assured when he realized that the father wasn’t exactly in the picture even though his heart broke at that – and he showered you with compliments of how brave you were to raise a kid alone.
“Think I should head back now. I still need to pick Faye up from my best friend’s.” You said, leaning your head on the headrest as your body was turned towards Harry, his hand sandwiched between yours on your thigh.
“Can I help?” He asked, “Only if that’s okay. I don’t want to be crossing my limits.”
Your eyes searched his, growing emotional at the man in front of you. “Are you sure?”
Again with the double meanings.
That time, Harry noticed, his face softening as he looked back at you. Softly and ever-so-gently, he leaned to press a soft kiss on your cheek, “I’m sure.”
As he drove, you and Harry held hands on your thigh, the both of you singing along to Fleetwood Mac on your way.
As you gave Harry directions, he was absentmindedly rubbing your hand with his thumb. If you would have told him that he was doing that, he would have denied it; not because he wanted to deny it, but because it felt too natural that he didn’t realize he was doing it.
“Right here.” You pointed at a building, “She’s two buildings away. You can go, it’s a short walk.”
“I’ll wait for you here.” Harry said, parking before turning to look at you.
“Harry, seriously, you can leave if you want. I’m right there.” You pointed at your building.
“Nonsense, love. I’ll wait here.”
You sighed in contentment, giving his hand a squeeze before getting out of the car and into the building.
“Why did you not tell me that you were on a date with Harry fucking Styles?” Cece whisper shouted as soon as she opened the door, “Knew from Faith, you shit.”
“Because you’d overr-“
“He could be the one!”
“-react. You’d overreact and plan our wedding.” You teased your best friend, “Where’s Faye?”
“Won’t you come in for a drink?” She asked before turning, “Faith, it’s your mom!”
“Can’t. Uh,” you cleared your throat, “Someone’s waiting for me.”
“Some- No fucking way!” She exclaimed, muttering a “sorry” when you hushed her, “He-Harry is downstairs? Are you shitting me?” Cece excitedly asked.
You couldn’t stifle the smile on your face as you nodded.
Cece was about to talk some more before Faith appeared beside her, her backpack hung on one shoulder as she rubbed her eyes.
You knelt down, hugging her. “Hey, Nugget. You sleepy?”
Faith only nodded, wrapping her arms around you as you carried her, feeling her rest her head on your shoulder and you instantly knew that she slept.
“I’ll text you, alright?” You whispered to Cece.
“You better.”
Carrying Faith as well as having her backpack in one hand, once Harry saw you, he was out of the car and rushing towards you, taking the bag from your hand.
“Thank you.” You smiled thankfully, noticing how he walked beside you and guided you to the car, opening the door for you and sleeping Faith before closing it as gently as he could.
The lack of backseats made Harry place the purple backpack on his lap as he drove towards your building, a seconds drive.
He stopped the car and was out of his seat the moment he parked, slinging the bag on his shoulder before helping you out, taking your bag for you, to which you quietly thanked him for.
“Um, you can place the bags on my shoulders or something.”
“I can help you upstairs, come on. It’s no problem.”
You knew he was set on it and you let him, mostly because of how surprised you were that there were people who didn’t cringe and run the moment they knew the other person had a kid.
Harry did all the work; opened the building’s door for you, pressed for the elevator, pressed your floor number and had even taken out your keys once you told him to to unlock the door.
“Come in, come in.” You whispered.
Unsure of what to do, Harry walked inside and mirrored your actions by taking off his shoes before lingering.
“You can follow me.” You whispered again, turning around for a moment to look at him with a smile.
A quick take of the apartment was what Harry could do as he followed you, feeling an emotion of comfort and coziness engulf him as he did.
You were never less thankful for yourself for every time you changed Faith into pajamas before taking her to Cece’s, because it only made the process of tucking her in easier.
Harry had helped you by moving the covers so you could place Faith in bed before he stepped back, letting you tuck her in.
He smiled, watching how you seemed to shift around her or even when you just talked about her, like she was the most important person in your life and he knew that she was exactly that.
Faith was beautiful, and more often than not, you were glad that she got most of your looks and not her biological father’s because it only meant that he really was out of your life.
Harry noticed it, too. She had your nose, your lips, your facial outline, and your hair color. And from what he had seen in the video from when Faith was awake, she had your eye color.
You placed a kiss to her forehead before turning around, your eyes falling on Harry whose eyes were set on Faith with a ghost of a smile on his face.
His eyes came up to you and you noticed that he was still holding on to Faith’s backpack and was wearing your crossbag across his own chest.
You smiled as you grabbed the backpack from him and putting it aside on the floor before looking at him.
The only light in the room was from the hallway, making the room dimmed and making the both of you in a much more sentimental moment.
“They usually run away when they find about Faith.” You whispered, stepping closer to him, “Now is your cue.”
Harry’s eyes were on yours until they glanced at your lips, and butterflies erupted in your stomach at that.
“Thank God I’m not one of them, then.” He replied gently in a low whisper before he leaned closer, shamelessly looking at your lips.
It was you who took the final step, closing the minimal space between you by placing your lips on his.
His hands went to your waist as yours went to his neck, feeling him kiss you back softly but eagerly before pulling away from less than a second to tilt his head, getting a better angle before his lips were back on yours.
“Mommy?”

Little Devils
A/N: @exhaustedpotat0 I hope I exceeded your expectations 🤗. Fun fact about me; I get story ideas at the most random times during the day, like for example when I’m making chocolate milk, poof there is an idea I’ve been trying to come up with for days (yes I am 20, yes I still prefer chocolate milk above coffee, fight me 🥊). ANyWaz thank you for the request and support!
Warnings: near death experience I guess? Bribing if that’s a warning
Genre: fluff? Crack? Idk tbh
⚡⚡⚡⚡⚡⚡⚡⚡⚡⚡⚡⚡⚡⚡⚡⚡⚡⚡⚡⚡⚡⚡⚡⚡⚡⚡⚡⚡⚡⚡⚡⚡⚡⚡⚡⚡
"It is time for the annual girls-day!" Cana announced as soon as she walked into the guild.
The Fairy Tail girls had picked a date and proclaimed it as the Fairy Queens off day. That day no girl of the guild would work a job or work at the guild itself. They'd all go out of town and enjoy a peaceful day at a resort.
It would be your first time since you had only recently joined the guild because Laxus had requested it. He proposed the idea since you were a bartender at a bar a couple of streets away. He didn't see the point when you could just work here in the guild alongside Mira-Jane. Everyone knew that the real reason was actually, so he could keep a close eye on you and making sure you were okay, but God forbid he'd ever say that out loud.
"I can't," you said as you separated your boys from fighting. Aidan and Keishi were the spitting images of their father. Both having the same blonde locks paired with two soft eyes matching yours.
"Why not?" Erza asked as she helped you.
"I can't leave the boys unattended" you explained as you picked up the crying child and placed him on your hip while Erza scolded the other.
"Let Laxus do it" Bisca shrugged her shoulder as if it were the most obvious thing in the world. "Alzack did so with Romeo when he was still a child"
You bit the inside of your cheek as you let the suggestion sink in. Laxus had never cared for the children alone. You were always around, and if for some reason you had to go do something, one of the girls was always there to assist him.
"I don't know" you mumbled as your eyes landed on Laxus that was unbothered chatting with Freed and Bickslow.
"Come on, (Y/N). He'll be fine. He's their dad after all" Levy tried to persuade you.
"Oi! You girls still here? Shouldn't you be leaving for your annual girls day?" Natsu asked, ditching the argument he had with Gray just moments ago.
"That's the plan, but (Y/N) doesn't want to go because she isn't sure if she should leave the kids alone" Lucy explained.
Upon hearing the explanation, Laxus decided to stand up and join the conversation as well "they wouldn't be alone, they'll have me"
"Are you sure you'll be able to handle them?" You asked as you looked up at your significant other.
"Is that a challenge?" He shot back while raising an eyebrow in amusement.
"No! No, of course not. It's just... They can be a lot sometimes" you hurriedly explained at which a soft chuckle left his lips, followed by a kiss pressed against your head "I'll be fine"
"Then it's settled! Let's go!" Lisanna yelled as she linked her arm with her sister, basically dragging the older girl with her as she left the guild.
Erza grabbed your arm, refraining you from turning back "Call me if something happens! I'll be back as soon as I can! I love you!"
And with that all the women of Fairy Tail had left the guild, leaving only the men and children behind.
The first few hours flew by as if nothing had changed, the biggest adjustment being Mira-Jane or you not filling their cups when they were empty.
"I really don't understand what (Y/N) was making a big deal out of. This day has passed by swimmingly" Bickslow chuckled as he placed his foot on the table while leaning back in the chair. Normally you or Mira would've scolded him, but with neither of you being there, he thought he'd take advantage of it.
Karma was lurking around the corner, cause as soon as the words rolled off Bickslow's tongue, everything went South.
Your children started a competition to see who could climb the highest point in the guild. They were both a couple of feet in the air when the youngest slipped, losing all flooring underneath his feet.
Had it not been for Jet's speed, the fall would have been catastrophic. "Not a word to (Y/N) about this"
Laxus was desperately comforting Keishi who was inconsolable as he just saw his short life flash before his very own eyes. Meanwhile, Gray and Natsu were trying their hardest to get the eldest down.
"Aiden! Get down here!" Natsu ordered as he started climbing up as well. The child didn't listen, only climbing higher as he took notice of the struggling adult.
His laughter filled the guild, but that soon turned into screams as the Fire Dragon Slayer got hold of his leg. "No! Let go of me!"
Natsu succeeded in getting down safely along with Aiden that was now also crying uncontrollably, leaving Laxus with two very upset children.
"Mommy!" "I want mommy!" The two cried out for their mother that was unbeknownst to the situation, relaxing in a hot spring a couple of cities away.
Laxus held Keishi close, rocking him softly as his hand softly rubbed circles on his back. He had seen you do this countless times, so why did it seem so hard when he did it? Elfman held the oldest, copying Laxus as good as he could.
"Shouldn't we call (Y/N)?" Gray sighed, annoyance evident on his face as every attempt at trying to calm the boys down seemed to fail.
"No!" Laxus exclaimed, earning him even louder sobs from the young child in his arms. He shushed him before returning to Gray in a lower voice "(Y/N) doesn't think I can handle our children"
"I can see why" Natsu snickered, resulting in a murderous look from the father.
"Freed, can't you put them in like a soundproof box or something with your magic" Gajeel groaned at the loud wails that kept coming from your children.
"You will not do such a thing" Laxus snapped at Gajeel in a hushed tone, already learning from his previous mistakes "I will prove to (Y/N) that I'm perfectly capable of taking care of my boys. Otherwise, she'll never trust me with them again"
"We still have a couple of hours left until the girls come back. We could try bribing them with sweet, perhaps?" Freed suggested.
Everyone turned to look at the green-haired mage as if he was an angel that was sent from up above. "Why didn't you say so earlier!"
"Aidan, Keishi, if you stop crying we'll go get ice cream" Laxus tried and at the sound of the cold deliciousness, their crocodile tears slowly came to a halt.
"Can we have two flavors, daddy?" Keishi asked as he looked at his father with puppy dog eyes.
"No- yes, fine, you can have two flavors" Laxus quickly changed his answer as he saw tears forming back in the corner of his eyes. He knew you'd have his head if you found out. The two boys really turned into little nightmares if they had too much sugar.
"Yay! Let's go" Aidan exclaimed happily, wriggling in Elfman's arms, signalling that he wanted to be put on the ground.
Laxus let both his sons grab a hand as they guided him out of the guild and to the ice cream shop.
"Please don't come back!" Gajeel called after them as they stepped outside the guild, sighing happily at the thought of some peace and quietness.
"Alright, now boys, I need you to listen to daddy for a second" the dragon slayer crouched down to look at them on eye-level while the two carelessly licked away at the sweet dessert in their hands. "Mommy can't find out about today. It was a normal relaxing day without any problems, alright?"
"What's in it for us?" Aidan asked as he looked at his father, still eating the ice cream that had slightly melted on his hand.
"What the- there's nothing in it for you. I am your father" Laxus started but stopped when the boys shared an unimpressed look. For being only 3 and 4, the two definitely had an attitude. "Fine I'll each give you 5 bucks that you can spend in the candy shop"
"10" Keishi chimed in.
Laxus stood perplexed. Was he really negotiating with his own children? More importantly, how was he the one losing the negotiation? "Fine"
The elder mage did as promised, handing both boys their money to which they high-fived. "Let's go back, the girls are about to return home"
Not even 5 minutes later as the three arrived back at Fairy Tail, the girls had returned.
"Mommy!" The two children ran up to you once they caught a glimpse of your face "boys!"
Laxus walked up as well, giving you a soft peck on your lips, earnings fake gagging from Aidan and Keishi "boys that's enough. How did it go, baby?"
"Normal, not much out of the ordinary, right boys?" As on cue, your children nodded their head in agreement.
"Really? So I could leave you more often with the boys?" You eyed him suspiciously, already picking up on his small habit of twirling a strand of your hair between his fingers when he was nervous or lying.
"No! I mean, I think I should help you take care of them more regularly. I'm sorry for ditching you so often to sit with the guys" he apologized at which a small chuckle escape your lips.
You wondered what happened today, but decided not to press it. It will be a secret between all the men at Fairy Tail and you respected it, knowing very well one would slip up when they had a couple of beers too much "it's alright, and I would love that"
