never again telling a cishet person that i had a "boyfriend" in middle school that lasted two months. what the fuck do you mean you dont understand that society pushes women to seek relationships with men, leading lesbians to also try out relationships with them to see "if it feels right"

#i also had to explain to her that gender=/=genitals today #which was actually a really interesting conversation bc she ended up deconstructing gender roles a little bit more #theres a trans guy at the dorms and she didnt understand why someone would want to be w a guy with 'girl parts' or viceversa #but she genuinely asked from a place of curiosity and not out of malice bc once i got her to understand that gender is literally made up #by society to sell heterosexuality. it was smooth sailing and she understood completely <3 #but alas she didnt get that just bc i had a 'bf' for 2 months where we maybe held hands twice. it doesnt mean im less of a lesbian #that added with the fact that i also made out w my best friend a few yrs ago. so she just ended up saying #'huh maybe you wont end up being a lesbian after all' no thank u i tried it (being attracted to men) and i much prefer lesbianism #bc i dont have to pretend to be attracted to women. hope this helps <3 #xarraire
