seen a lot of people talk about astarion/karlach friendship which i love but WHERE is the love for astarion/shadowheart friendship???
#their party banter is like they joke around they gossip they playfully roast each other from time to time#but shadowheart sees through all his facades and genuinely understands him and cares about him and wants him to be happy#apparently if you're already dating shadowheart and want to start dating astarion and ask her if she wants to be poly she turns you down#only because she knows he wouldn't actually be okay with it even if he agreed to it & she wants him to be happy and doesn't want to hurt hi#also he tries to downplay it but he has a line that suggests he was genuinely worried about her during the whole thing in the shadowfell#they're also the only two 100% permanent members of my party so they've been through Everything together#augh#they care about each other and i love them both sososo much#bg3
