I figure you have already talked about it, but who do you think Valss was, exactly? Do you think he was a Jedi, a Sith, a renegade Zakuul Knight, a member of the Cult of Zildrog or something else?
Ah, Valss. My mysterious little Valss… I was just thinking about him the other day, and once again was puzzling over the great mysteries he left behind, including:
Exactly where the heck does he fall on the lovely scale above???
And the reason I ask that, is it was still a little unclear to me after re-examining the canon, and playing through Copero and the final boss fight several times, what were Valss’s true motivations.
Thanks to 5.9, we do now have a slightly clearer picture of the order of events and who the true mastermind is (spoiler: it’s GEMINI 16 aka, our little explorer bot we got a mail about after KotFE Chapter 16), and as far as I can tell, the Chiss explicitly became involved in the Order’s plans after Umbara, after they got their Adegan crystals for… yeah, I still haven’t parsed that one. There’s a lot of dangling plot threads I’m still trying to puzzle out.
But in the short story on the dev blogs, Chasing Copero, Theron meets with a contact in an alley who got her info on the location of Valky’s starmap from her spy girlfriend who’s grandad was part of the team that did a little raid on Sith assets for a little insurance.
(As an aside, I love that in the KotFE+ stuff they are taking such care to try and fill the galaxy with LGBT folks ♥ even with the background characters. It’s a subtle, but nice touch.)
There’s a bunch of Chiss politics going on:
“Works for me. Files say the Mitth family runs things on Copero. Is that right?”
Pova shook her head again. “Their shipbuilding business has hit some hard times. House Inrokini bailed them out with a huge investment, so they’re the real power these days. Not that Mitth advertises the fact, of course.”
“Sounds like I need to make some friends from Inrokini, then.”
Most of what I know of the Chiss politics and the cultural structure comes from @andveryginger, so feel free to take what I say with a grain of salt because I’ve probably misunderstood a few things here and there and could be wiiiildly off-base.
There are several ruling houses in the Ascendancy, and Mitth I think was supposed to be one of the more powerful ones in this time. They’re big on chess games and maintaining appearances, so it’s possible there’s always something just a little more than meets the eye initially when it comes to dealing with the Chiss society (I think?).
But the gist is, Theron decides he needs to make some friends within House Inrokini, and so he sells some “Alliance secrets” (which I bet was some intel that looked interesting on the surface but was mostly harmless) to Zenta, the Syndic of House Inrokini. Ambient dialogue from Saganu (that you hear during one of the bonus missions) indicates she’s been collecting both Alliance and Ascendancy secrets for “some time”, something Theron likely knew about and exploited to get in. This also indicates Zenta’s power play and rogue status within the Ascendancy is not a new thing, it just finally caught up to her here. Which also brings us to Valss.
Valss:
Aristocra Saganu - Commander, I must warn you: years ago, Zenta risked her status to adopt a powerful Force-sensitive into her family.
Aristocra Saganu - The Chiss consider Force-users to be contaminated, impure. Without Zenta’s support, Valss would be banished–or worse.
Player - You know how to make me feel welcome. / Player - So he’ll protect her to the end.
Aristocra Saganu - You’re an exception, Commander. You’ve made the Chiss proud. But Valss is dangerous–expect a formidable enemy. / Aristocra Saganu - Valss is unstable, and fights to the death for what he believes in. Expect a formidable enemy.
It looked like Valss was originally written as Zenta’s biological brother, but at launch this was changed for Valss to be a merit adoptive. So, the question of Valss’s birth origin, as well as how Saganu knows just how unstable and fanatical he is is an interesting question, which I’ll float an interesting theory @andveryginger came up with in a bit.
But it looks like the gist is, once Valss’s Force Sensitivity was discovered, he was about to be banished or killed, when Zenta swooped in to bring him into her fold. Considering all of her actions so far have been shown to be a clever calculation and part of some larger chess game to “protect her people and keep House Inrokini safe”, indicates she saw some use in him (and is probably less driven out of a sense of compassion for someone who is on the verge of losing everything).
He clearly has very advanced Force training, and is extremely strong in the Force, and seems to also have Force visions which I’m guessing lends into his fanaticism. My best guess is that Zenta earns Valss’s fanatical loyalty by taking him in and giving him a place when he feels like he’s been cast out, and then likely finds a way to get him trained so he can use his natural talents for her when the time comes.
I suspect that whatever training Valss went through it was not through the normal channels of Jedi/Sith, or even Zakuul. He demonstrates a lot of raw power and mastery in his fight, but not necessarily a lot of discipline, and swaps between Force powers and regular weapons throughout the fight. It’s also indicated that Zenta’s top people put a great amount of stock in whatever vision Valss had, which indicates to me that even as Chiss they had some amount of trust in him despite him being an ickle impure Force Sensitive.
So what the heck was up with Valss’s “vision” anyway? Like, I was confused when the Copero flashpoint first dropped, because the more I looked at everything, the more vague everything was. Valss’s vision is never actually stated outright. Zenta says that he had a vision of “Shan’s victory”, and this is what Valss himself has to say:
So on the surface this seems to indicate that Valss and Theron are total bros and are saving the galaxy together, right? That Valss is just wanting to stop the apocalypse as well? Except… Theron’s body language and facial expressions during the first scene seem to indicate otherwise.
He breaks character when Valss can’t see his face, his expression drops, and he looks torn and scared. But exactly what about? Failing and the vision not being true? Or the visions coming true? Because whatever it is, he doesn’t want to share that with Valss. His tr8r mask slides back in place before he turns back to face our Force!Chiss and he makes a vague statement that he hopes Valss’s vision is true “for all our sakes”. I mean, that could seriously be taken either way.
Theron stated in Nathema Conspiracy that he’s trying to stall the Order’s plan and get the Alliance intel at this point, and it’s also heavily implied that his every word and move is being monitored by GEMINI 16. Does her surveillance powers extend to the Chiss Ascendancy?
If they do, then she’s listening to every word being said, and he’s not going to risk his ability to get intel back to the Alliance by going “YEAH FUCK ZILDROG LET’S TAKE HIM DOWN” if Valss’s vision was about Theron’s success in saving the galaxy from Zildrog. If that’s the case, then that would mean that Valss is pro-apocalypse and his fanaticism is about striking back at something, possibly the Ascendancy for casting him out. This means Theron’s “I hope that’s true” is part of his tr8r schtick.
However if GEMINI 16 isn’t monitoring Theron while he’s on Copero, does that mean Valss got this intense Force vision of Theron saving the galaxy and he’s ultimately a good guy who’s just like really intense and maybe vaguely creepy/flirty in the way he stares at his fellow galactic saviors? Then it means he’s actually not vaguely double-speaking here and is truly hoping that Valss’s vision of victory means that everyone doesn’t die horribly.
Like seriously WHAT IS THIS VISION and how does Valss explain it to everyone around him so they’re all “yeah, let’s just leave Zenta to rot, sounds awesome! Escape!helicopter tiiiiiime!”
Look I know it’s a shuttle but I need someone in Star Wars at some point to say “GET TO THE CHOPPA NOW!” let me have this plz
But, there’s some cut dialogue that wasn’t used (meaning it’s technically not canon), that honestly clears absolutely nothing up:
Like seriously, I read it once and I’m like “Oh, that indicates Valss is coo coo for cocoa puffs” and wants to set everything ablaze, but then I read it again and I’m like “Wait, Zenta indicates that Valss doesn’t understand the danger they’re in”, but then Valss is like “Why are you hesitating Shaaaaan?” and we know Theron is on the anti-apocalypse end of the spectrum so why would he be hesitating in front of someone that fanatically believes in him because a Force vision said that everything would be hunky dory?
(I mean, beyond Theron’s “who needs the Force?” hangups.)
His boss barks too are something of note (the white text I’m less sure of is in the game… but hey, I’ll share anyway), and while they are still ambiguous “he”, “we”, I’m taking this to mean someone’s drunk the Zildrog Culty Kool-Aid:
(”He” could be Theron – but it could also be Zildrog.)
Like, honestly, you could pick just about any headcanon for Valss’s motivations and there’s enough canonical evidence we have in hand at the moment to back it up. In other words:
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Personally, I’m going to take Saganu at his word that Valss is completely unhinged, and I suspect that he lies closer to the Zildrog end of the apocalypse spectrum. Saganu’s dialogue seems to indicate that Valss is fanatical about causes, not people, which explains his kind of creepy lingering stares at Theron during the holomap scene are motivated more by his glee at seeing his plans realized – and less because he wants to get into Theron’s pants because jfc fandom not everything is about sex
And for what it’s worth, Wookieepedia seems to think he’s part of the Order of Zildrog too.
Feel free to pick your own motivation and interpretation of him, because unless Charles Boyd, Timothy Zahn, or any of the other writers clarify, it’s going to remain a mystery.
Oh, and speaking of that… ;)
Valss’s Origins
Let’s circle back to the mystery of Valss’s origins, because it seemed fairly straight-forward, that is, until the livestream with the devs and Zahn from earlier this year. Now again, I’m not really all that hip to the nuance of Chiss stuff, but even I got a little confused that when the question came up about Zenta, Valss, and Saganu’s full names, they declined to answer that question on the grounds that their complete names could be revealed in the future.
I was chatting with @andveryginger at the time, and she’s a big Saganu fan and was like “Wait… we know Saganu’s name!” and when I asked if it was stated in canon (because again, I still need to finish the IA storyline), she said no, but that it should have been easily inferred from his background revealed in the Vanilla!IA storyline and the composition of Chiss names.
So in theory, Saganu’s full Chiss name should be: Miurani'saga'nuruodo – but why is that a mystery? Why is Zenta’s a mystery? And why is Valss’s one?
There’s apparently this obscure concept that’s been used maybe once or twice in Legends regarding Chiss society, and that’s the concept of a Shadow Child. An extra child or heir born into important families as a “spare” to keep family bloodlines from being wiped out by rivals. That means there’s a small possibility that revealing the full name of Valss (and Zenta by extension) would reveal that he might be a blood relation of Saganu’s. Because remember Saganu’s description of him?
Sure that intel could have come from intel of spying on rival families or just ordinary Chiss prejudice against Force users, but man, that almost sounds like personal knowledge/experience speaking to me.
If Valss was Saganu’s biological relative (possibly brother), considering all of the twisty and entangled web of Chiss politics that I can barely begin to really comprehend, their society’s disdain for the “impurity” of Force Sensitives (to the point of exiling or “worse”), and the fact that Zenta goes out of her way to bring him into her fold for mysterious, likely political reasons – it would be a recipe for political disaster – especially if this rogue family member went off and did something stupid like join an Apocalypse cult and risk all of the Ascendancy dying in flames.
However, the livestream indicated that there might be more Chiss-centric stuff coming in the future. My best guess is likely not in the upcoming expansion, since they’ve stated over and over the focus is Republic vs Empire (and not focused on a third party, ie: the Chiss), and after the events of of Copero no matter what happens, the Chiss political arena gets a little heated and they have to withdraw from Alliance stuff.
So it’s likely the mystery of Valss, his stupid vague vision, and his origins will not be answered for some time.
#jedimastersansa#speculation#thanks for the ask!#i really don't know enough about the chiss#mostly because that requires like reading or playing through some storyline that's not the jedi knight#and we all know how often i do THAT#i will finish you one day IA storyline#but probably after the consular or trooper storyline#i still need a break from imp-side stuff#long post#is long

1, 4, & 6 for the Alliance oc asks!
1) Who’s your Alliance Commander? What class are they? Alignment? Random other facts you wanna share?
Okay, so. I have at least three, possibly four "canons".
Telcontar(m!Trooper, Tactics Vanguard, mostly LS) Random facts: He's sibling-adopted Vette and Arn both. He's cyborg(eyepatch and implant around his left eye, and his right leg is cybernetic), so he like to talk shop about cybernetic with Arn. His canon includes Silver(Scrapper Scoundrel, and his big sis), Xander(Arsenal Mercenary), and Endrali(Shadow Consular) at least of my other kids.
Vica (f!Consular, Kinetic Combat Shadow FTW, ALL LS) Random facts: She's had a really cool journey from Miss Perfect Jedi to being her own person and balancing her own needs/wants against the galaxy, and her friendship with Zenith is a really important thing to her. She has a pet manka cat named Crete she adore ALMOST as much as she does her husband(Theron). Her canon includes Briyoni(Vanguard Trooper and her lil sis).
Tragen (m!Warrior, Fury Marauder, mostly LS) random facts: not actually all that strong with the Force. He relies mostly on his lightsabers or charisma and is really good with either, but when it comes to the Force, he uses it more to augment his skill than as its own “weapon”. I thiiiiink I’m gonna be slotting Jaaide(Concealment Operative) into his canon, but haven’t made up my mind yet
Keme (f!Trooper, Tactics Vanguard, mostly LS) will probably get her own canon, too, just bc it's so hard to work her in as anything BUT the Commander xD Also I love her. random facts: Former slave, loves to dress up actually(it’s fun making Jorgan people’s jaws hit the floor), very good sabaac face.
4) Why did this character of all your OCs become Commander?
Tel’s journey to “canon” is a little convoluted, lol. Silver was originally my canon bc she was my favorite now it’s Vica shhhhhh and one of my Launch Day toons. Then I realized, after playing Tel and figuring out their relationship as siblings, that a) Tel definitely would have helped with the SoR etc mess and b) when Marr told her about the Wild Space expedition, my smuggler gal would have told him to comm her brother, that’s more a “war hero” deal, and rolled over to go back to sleep on top of Corso. xD So then I started thinking about swapping Tel in as canon. I love the m!Trooper, Elara’s romance is my favorite in the game, AND the whole five years in carbonite seriously screwed up my plans for Silver/Corso babies, so I switched which Amazing Airen sibling was my canon Outlander and things work much better now. He’s my canon canon, the others are all alternates
Vica, Tragen, and probably Keme get their own canons bc I have too many of the same classes, I need some room lol and I love them enough AND they’d be able to stick out the storyline thus far (rip to Jaaide and her six breakdowns of varying severity 😅)
6) Are there any NPC’s from the class stories you’d like to see/HC join the Alliance? Ex: Master Timmns, Ardun Kothe, Watcher One, etc
Big yes to Master Timmns and Kothe for sure. I actually headcanon already that Timmns joins up with Tragen’s Alliance and is part of a regularly meeting tea group with Tragen and Jaesa. xD In a world where Jaaide is the Outlander and not an Intelligence Hire for Tragen, I would LOVE to see Kothe join up. I’d say Master Sumalee from the Smuggler story but BioWare did that in the most “Do he dirty” way possible and I’m only madder about what they did to Shara /cough
I’d love if Numen Brock could be a supply/intel contact or something.
OH. FUCKING FUSE. If you saved him on Tatooine I WANNA SEE HIM.
Beryl Thorne. Bring her back and let my male Smugg actually romance her :D
Overseer Tremel, if you spared him, could be neat. Ummmmm it’s been too long since I played a Hunter, I can’t remember if there’s anyone there.
Edit: CANNOT believe I forgot my man Jonas. Give him to me, BioWare. LET ME ROMANCE HIM PROPERLY DAMMIT

SWTOR Species/Class/Gender/Romance Headcanons
When it comes to SWTOR, I prefer my Toons’ species stay in their faction lane so to speak. Nothing wrong with having a Chiss Jedi or Miraluka Sith, but that’s just not my thing, I just prefer my choices and headcanons to have some basis in the lore.
So without further ado, my Class/Species/Gender preferences for SWTOR
Jedi Knight: AH the Knight, my favorite class in both tone, and gameplay. It’s also has the most traditional “Star Wars” story; young hero thrust into adventure, goes off to defeat the evil overlord. Overall, it was designed to evoke Luke, Anakin, and all Jedi of action that followed them. It was for this reason that my main Jedi Knight is a human male; can’t beat the classics in that regard. Plus, it allowed us (before Onslaught) to romance Kira Carsen, who I consider to be a better romance option than Doc, and she has a larger role in the Knight storyline.
Jedi Consular: The wise mystic to the Knight’s brave warrior, the Consular is meant to evoke mentor Jedi from throughout the franchise, your Ben Kenobis, Qui-Gon Jins, Yodas, etc. For this class, I like the Miraluka, who are a naturally Force Sensitive race of near-humans without eyes, but who see through the Force instead. The blind sage archetype is an old one in fiction, and it seems fitting for the Consular. As for gender, I have no strong preference, but I lean towards male for the beard. Also Nadia’s romance is very sweet, and she has a large role in the overall story. Felix meanwhile is just really boring.
Smuggler: Hoo boy, here’s where we start getting conflicted, since overall, everything about the Smuggler is great. I’m torn between making a male human who romances the tough as nails and incredibly witty Risha for maximum Han Solo, or making a female Twi’lek who falls for Corso’s endearing country boy charms. The struggle is real. I don’t suppose I can headcanon two co-captains who are foster siblings can I?
Trooper: Cathar female, because Jennifer Hale is basically playing Commander Shepard again. I chose Cathar to get some variety for my Republic Toons; after all, there’s supposed to be countless species represented in the Senate, might as well play as one that isn’t human/near-human. Plus, the romance with resident grumpy cat Jorgan is incredibly sweet, and beats out Elara by just this much.
Sith Warrior: The Sith Warrior is described to be the scion of an old Sith family. Now, when I hear “old Sith family” my mind immediately goes to Sith Pureblood; humans are too common, zabraks are only an option because of Darth Maul, and everything else is just cheating. Now a Pureblood, one of the descendants of the 12 Dark Jedi Exiles, brings a certain level of arrogance, and undeniable power (Force-sensitive bloodlines are a major them in Star Wars). Now, for maximum Darth Vader, I go with male, body-type 3, so I can literally look down on 95% of all NPCs. As for romance options, Vette blows Jaesa out of the water. Vette’s with the Warrior for longer, and after Jaesa’s recruited, she just stopes being important, plus there’s her whole widely different personalties based on if she’s Light or Dark.
Sith Inquisitor: the Inquisitor is a bit of an odd duck, in that as a slave, every species is a contender save, ironically, for the Pureblood. Now that being said, I’d limit myself to near-human species, as the Inquisitor is a descendant of Lord Kallig, whose species is unknown, but was probably Pureblood, whose descendants probably married into a near-human bloodline, and lost the pureblood traits. Now then, as for the Inquisitor, I feel like Ratattaki is a good pick, due to many of that species being enslaved by the Empire previously, plus they just look intimidating as hell. As for gender, I’m going with female over male, partly because Andronikos is more interesting than Ashara (Girl, you’re traveling with a Sith Lord and fighting against the Republic; you’re definitely not a Jedi anymore), and partly to have an even ratio of male/female for both factions.
Bounty Hunter: Another tough one for gender, as both male and female romance options have strong arcs. Ultimately, it’s first come, first serve, so I’m going with a male Hunter that romances Mako. As for species, this is a tough one. As both a member of the criminal underworld and later the Mandalorians, any species is justified save for perhaps a Pureblood. For me, I’m torn between the classic human or a fierce zabrak. I suppose that in this case the Hunter will have the be the Empire’s token human, which is rather ironic.
Imperial Agent: This class is a bit of an oddball in that there’s no iconic Star Wars character that fits the mold of a secret agent. I’d describe it as a cross between the various Imperial officers from the movies and James Bond. In any case, there’s only one choice in species for a class this suave, smooth, cool, and deadly; the Chiss, and that’s entirely because of Grand Admiral Thrawn. Now, for the Agent I choose female, because Vector’s romance blows both Kaliyo and Raina’s out of the water, rather easily.

8 & 13 for Lev?? 😙
8. If they were a companion, what class would they be for and how would their missions go?
Haha, this is a wild one. I wanna say ANY Republic class would be a cool way to explore his character. Imperial classes would be too hard to explain why he’d stick around (I would have said the Bounty Hunter but even they are ultimately Empire-aligned). Let me make some bullet points just to not speculate too much:
Knight: Lev would fit in nicely with the Knight's quests to Destroy/Maybe Redeem the Emperor. He would have personal issues with any attempt to approach that didn't involve killing the Emperor lol. The Knight's struggle with the dark side would make them much more relatable to Lev.
Consular: Probably the least suited to Lev, but he would still find it interesting to help people throughout the galaxy with the Barsen'thor's guidance. A neat way to confront his distrust of Force-users.
Trooper: Lev has problems with authority figures so this would be a turbulent one, but very juicy. His parents were Republic troopers so there'd be baggage there, and perhaps reconciliation at some point with Havoc squad's leader as they are overall a better person than his parents.
Smuggler: Duh lol. I think he'd get along with Risha the most, but the Voidhound would be a close runner-up. Lev might be ejected from the ship for being too rowdy, though. He would kill every Imperial they encounter lol.
I'll go with Trooper or Jedi Knight, honestly. They'd be the most interesting for Lev to bounce off of, considering his background and those canon storylines.
Lev's missions would be surrounding helping the friends he left behind on Coruscant and bringing attention to the poverty crisis on that planet. A final couple missions would probably be killing the Exchange asshole on Nar Shaddaa that hurt Valen'tin that one time. Then you can kiss Lev, and maybe romance him in KOTET/KOTFE or Onslaught lmao.
13. Do they wish they were/weren’t force sensitive?
Nope! Lev'rani doesn't have the best association with Force-users. Cool as some Jedi can be, Lev doesn't think he'd have the respect or restraint the Order looks for. He understands the benefit of using the Jedi in tandem with an army to protect Republic territories, but warrior-monks are something he doesn't really mesh well with. He doesn't see Force-users connecting the average person after a certain point, and that both frightens and irritates him (and that's aside from the restrictions the Order places on Jedi). Sith are a whole other thing, though. He lived through the Sacking of Coruscant and will not let any Sith live it down. He's got a strict kill-on-sight policy with them, as he does with Imperials. Lev's just fine using blasters, shivs, and his fists to take on the galaxy.
< swtor-based character questions >
#thank u ilu!!!!!#y'all like Lev I'm always genuinely shocked so many people ask about him!!!!!!!!!#oc: Lev'rani

I stayed up way too late to answer these, it was worth it
Questions by @pauletta-00 *dances* here we gooo, some cautions before reading the answers: 1) will contain spoilers for much much later in the fic so don’t read the answers if ya don’t want dem spoilers. I’m gonna try and keep ‘em vague enough that they don’t give everything away, cause I gotta make ya go read it, don’t I now? 😉 2) While I follow KOTFE/ET as a loose guideline it is just that. A guideline, in a lot of places we veer waaaaayyy off the established canon because *singing to the tune of a popular song* ✨it’s my fanfic and I do what I want to ✨ so don’t any of y’all yell at me because my headcanons are different pls? ok good :D
With that out of the way, the questionsss
1. Starting with basics. Who is your Outlander (which class, what their aligment)? How did they end up being frozen in carbonite for 5 years? Why did you make them the Outlander?
(my own art because losing an eye is not a scar option in-game and it’s one of her most defining features)
Vano Saal-Shenly - Canon Sith Warrior (alignment: Light IV in game, I class her as Neutral Good) and Empire’s Wrath. She got made the Outlander because it just made the most sense, also there are some parallels between her fate/whereabouts (including the amount of time they were “missing” to each other) in KOTFE/ET and that of her wife in earlier parts of the (class) story that I very very much did on purpose 😉 She was also the Wrath, so it made the most sense for her to end up on Marr’s ship when it went boom and led into KOTFE. Pretty much follows the canon there, Vano cuts her ship loose, tells her crew + wife to gtfo of there, she and Marr are taken prisoner and she gets frozen in carbonite after the dust up in the throne room. Becomes the Alliance Commander
2. Now, to the rest of classes. What happens to them during KotFE/ET? Did they know the Outlander? Were they allies, enemies, family? Do they join the Alliance or have something else to do? Do they play a major or a minor role in the story? Spare no detail (if you wish, of course).
Aria Saal-Shenly: Human, Major role. Vano’s wife, semi-canon Jedi Consular (alignment: Grey/Dark I, Chaotic Neutral) (follows the Consular story arc grey-Dark aligned, is in fact a Sith Inquisitor playing sleeper agent). Alias “The Wrath’s Shadow” (for obvious reasons) Joined back up officially with Vano during the SoR arc, they marry sometime in the interim between Rishii and killing Revan; on the other flagship with Lana, Theron and the others when Vano’s crew returns to give them the news. Inconsolable after her wife’s disappearance and refuses to accept that she’s dead (they share a Force Bond, so Aria knows and becomes increasingly frustrated when nobody will “listen to her telling them damn it!!”), drives Lana and the others crazy by continuing to try and look for her wife and putting herself in danger in doing so. Sticks with the Alliance, of course, her wife’s the Commander XD helps Vano to manage Odessen-side things of the Alliance, specialising in helping Ni’kasi and Sana-Rae at the Force Enclave of course.
Saarai Ahaszaai: Sith Pureblood, Major role. Niece to Vowrawn and twin sister to Ni’kasi (SI). Alt Sith Warrior in-game. Light I/II, Chaotic Good, but hiding out on Rishii to escape being convicted of a serious crime and exposing her family to Vitiate/Valkorion (who would absolutely kill them if he knew) picked up by Aria and Vano during their search for Lana and Theron during that part of the storyline. Joins up with the Alliance because she and her family have a personal vendetta (tm) against Vitiate/Valkorion and she wants to stab that dude too. Eventually becomes Empress alongside Vano who remains as the Commander (I still need to work out the details but basically it’s like...coalition government style thing and Saarai and Vano are the joint “final decision” voice mm’kay? hopefully that makes sense), with Lana, Theron and Aria to watch as Marr’s ship go boom. Has to restrain Aria when she loses her shit when they try to tell her Vano’s dead, helps Lana and the others to track Vano down and formulate the rescue plan. Stays with Aria to make sure she stays put like she was told while Lana gets Vano out of carbonite.
Ni’kasi Ahaszaai: Sith Pureblood, semi-Major role. Niece to Vowrawn and twin sister to Saarai (alt SW). Semi-canon Sith Inquisitor/Darth Occulus (follows the canon Inquisitor storyline, but is not related to Kallig, instead related to Vowrawn and lurking in hiding under Vitiate’s nose. Ends up as a “slave” when she takes the fall for her twin’s “crime” in order to protect her.), Light I/Grey, Lawful Neutral. With Saarai and the others on the ship when the big bad happens, sticks with the Alliance (and her twin) to try and track down Vano. Tries to contact Vowrawn and the other Dark Councillors etc., but can’t reach them obviously.
Merak Shenly: Mirialan, Minor role. Younger brother to Vano and friend to Aria as they briefly worked together before Aria returned to being a plant in the Jedi Order, Smuggler, Grey/True Neutral (mostly non-canon as of yet, I need to fully play through the Smuggler story and see how much of it I can graft into the fic-verse if it works or not), takes Aria’s side and works tirelessly to help them track down his sister, is likely the one to find the lead that takes them to Zakuul. Joins the Alliance and works alongside Hylo to run ammo/supplies etc. to the Alliance as they need it.
I haven’t yet played the Bounty Hunter or Trooper storylines, and my only current Imperial Agent is Aria’s mother (Light V/Lawful Good); she runs semi-canon in that she defects to the Republic, but is instead found out by the DC and Aria is sent to kill her as part of her Sith trials, so she’s dead long before KOTFE/ET happens.
I have a Jedi Knight too, but I honestly couldn’t figure out how to put him into the plot so I just left him out for now, I guess he was recruited and is probably in the background somewhere idk sjhsdyuidg
3. What about companions? Do you follow their in-game story or have headcanons for them? Did they stay with your non-Outlander characters or not? Why?
Mainly managed to plan out for the Warrior/Consular companions, haven’t thought deep enough into the Inquisitor companions yet, though I imagine at least Andronikos, Khem Val, Talos and Xalek will likely return to join the Alliance or at least ally with them somehow, because I love them ;-;
Qyzen: Stung by Aria’s betrayal and “leaves” for a while, re-recruited to the Alliance as canon/in-game and the two eventually patch up their relationship (as best they can, but are not as close as before). Tharan/Holiday, Felix, Nadia and Zenith do not return in my fic-verse. They cut ties with Aria after they find out her true loyalties are to the Empire and not the Republic.
Vette: Stays with Aria, Saarai, Ni’kasi etc. initially, eventually goes missing during their searches for Vano and loses contact with the rest of them, ends up teaming up with Gault and returning canonically/as in-game.
Quinn: is court-martialled and thrown in prison after the Quinncident. Released sometime during the five-year carbonite shebang, becomes an officer/aide to Darth Vowrawn, later joins the Alliance along with Vowrawn on Iokath. He and Vano reconcile of sorts, though she no longer considers him a friend and simply a “tactical advisor”. Quinn knows he fucked up so he doesn’t dare complain about it, or Aria will absolutely E N D him.
Jaesa: stays with Aria and co,
4. If applicable: how your characters react if the Alliance joins the opposite faction on Iokath and after that? For example: how do Sith characters feel about joining the Republic? Will they stay or leave (if it’s too spoiler-ish, then feel free to skip this)?
Aria was never truly on the Republic’s side, so she very much supports joining the Empire. Saarai and Ni’kasi originally came from the Empire so of course they’re enthusiastic. Merak is skeptical, but trusts his sister (and sister-in-law) so doesn’t protest even though the Sith do scare him, a lot.
5. If applicable: if your Commander decides to be a saboteur, would they tell anyone (PC or companions)? Why/why not?
Haven’t got this far yet to be able to plan this out, lemme get back to you when I do lol
6. How would your characters react if one of their companions is exiled or dead because of Outlander’s choices? For example: sith warrior’s reaction if Commander doesn’t save Vette?
Aria pretty much only cared about Qyzen out of her companions, he comes back fine in the end so she’s a-okay. Other than that the only person she would be deeply affected by losing again is Vano herself. She will fucking kill as many someones as she can get to before Saarai stops her if they let her wife go bye bye again.
don’t have a bounty hunter to be upset about Torian. I don’t hate him, he’s a great guy and I really enjoyed his character, but I cannot bring myself to not save Vette ;-; Vette and Vano have a sisterly-like relationship and her lock-picking etc. skills are very important to the Alliance. That Twi’lek ain’t dying on nobody’s watch hahahaha
haven’t yet had a chance to plan out anybody else’s, don’t think there are any choices in game (or that I’ve planned out in the slightly-altered fic timeline) that would affect this. May change as I get that far ahead and add or change things to fit!
7. If you have something written about anything from the above (bc I know some people do), share the links to your works (again, if you feel like it)!
The only thing I have published out on the web atm is Aria’s part of the class story, “Creeping Shadows”, which is on AO3, go give it a read if you want (rated M for mature themes like mentions of drugs & alcohol and frequent swearing etc.):
Creeping Shadows on AO3
I have pretty much all of the rest planned out, I’m just a big dummy who likes to write chronologically and as of yet cannot manage to write multiple fics at once, I will get through every part of this fic if it kills me or takes me 20 years so help me god. If you wanna hear more about my dumb children you can also DM me I could literally yell stuff about them for hours on end 😆😆

which class companions are your favorites in swtor? i find it funny you always exclude skadge in fics
skadge? idk him............ skjhdkfh but srsly i rly dont care for him so he doesnt exist for me (save for being the person to muck with doc’s plans basically i think that was him ).
but uhh to answer ur Q..... my faves are definitely the inquisitor crew like i LOVE that funky bunch but i played si first, the story is so funny to me, like in the grand scheme of things wyd to actually have any impact on literally anything jedi/sith wise....... like i love them. they set such a fun standard for everyone else. idk. it was just a RLY good time i love the story so much i love the crew i just. i did the entire inquisitor storyline again in like 2 days i missed it SO MUCH i feel a lot of inner peace now
also i should say that i have only ever completely done class story thru to like. onslaught now on my inquisitor so like i played a solid 2 weeks in 2017 doing everything and ofc when u get to kotfe/kotet and start recruiting rando companions im like WHO ARE THESE PPL and still dont rly know them so my impressions are absolutely minimal and the inquisitor crew set a standard for me entirely
after inq, i would honestly probably put in the bounty hunter crew bc i love all of them except skadge ❤️ he’s a nasty lil afterthought bc its like they remembered that bh is empire side and they were like OH FUCK GOTTA BE EVIL here have this mass murderer on ur team enjoy. like it was getting too campy clearly. i rly just love the interactions and how funny they were up until belsavis like bioware realising they were running outta planets to give me a new companion its okay i just need the four thanks u can keep skadge.......
and THEN idk like. i still havent finished smuggler, trooper or agent (havent even started the former). so i would probably say my only two faves for the warrior are quinn and vette bc i literally dont think about pierce or feel anything for broonmark. OMG OR JAESA I FORGOT ABOUT HER LOL!!!!!!! i made her LS just bc DS jaesa is TOO edgy for me but i think alfrinn would mess up and turn her DS also just bc it was so funny having the LS dialogue about fixing the empire or whatever and its like girl Shut Up youre not ashara u wish u were.....
i rly didnt mind the consular companions i just didnt rly click so much but im gonna replay the consular anyway soon? bc i wanna try some new things/dont honestly remember The Plot™. i did like zenith and qyzen a lot honestly but yeah like. im gonna replay, figure some shit out, make more in character choices bc i just rolled a togruta and went with it
i dont mind the knight companions obviously but yeah same kind of deal? i think the knight story rly had smth going but kind of lost it and went back to the typical hero storyline so idk i was just like completely amazed they were like YEAH YOU WERE A SITH and ignored that but okey! scourge promising to train my bloodline in the ways of the sith was heartwarming. i didnt rly talk/pay attention to rusk like at all, but yeah i think there was a lot of plot threads kind of spread out that were. ignored. so like kira’s whole thing i just ??????? through, i lov teeseven obviously, and doc. yknow. the proposal was rly cute bye.
i got like halfway thru imperial and i meeeetttt vector? i think? is as far as i rly got/paid attention. i just dont rly like the whole joiner dealio going on at all with him so i DONT know what i think. idk how to feel about kaliyo either? she reads like a straight man’s wet dream about an “empowered bisexual woman who can kick my ass”. like just admit ur into femdom and go............. but like again. havent rly played much, spent more time complaining about being a sniper, ive rerolled and i think just arrived on dromund kaas again so restart! yeah!
#replies#this got long im sry and i kept having to open like#wait WHO are the companions#i remember names and thats it#also i kept editing this afterwards so its all over the place reading comprehension wise sryyyyyy#Anonymous

KotFE/KotET Headcanon Time!
Tagged by @mimabeann! Thank you so much, and I’m sorry for the mess you’re about to see!
Tagging: Anyone who wants to do this one!
1. Starting with basics. Who is your Outlander (which class, what their aligment)? How did they end up being frozen in carbonite for 5 years? Why did you make them the Outlander?
My Outlander is Vargus Organa. He was placed with the Jedi at a very early age, and follows the Jedi Knight story pretty closely, with a couple of extra twists/turns as he runs into the other class characters. He’s a great example of a Jedi, but he does sometimes struggle with the seriousness of what he does. He just views his day as another one for the books, and rarely sees just how much he impacts the events of the story. I think he’s leading every quest line for me except Ziost. He’s there, but he’s supporting Theron and the 6th line while my Imperial crew have all been called in to help Lana and my warrior takes center stage against Vitiate.
2. Now, to the rest of classes. What happens to them during KotFE/ET? Did they know the Outlander? Were they allies, enemies, family? Do they join the Alliance or have something else to do? Do they play a major or a minor role in the story? Spare no detail (if you wish, of course)
Okay, not gonna lie, this is a bit of a mess right now (mainly because I had got my little legendary icon and then deleted all of my toons. So I’m in the process of remaking and remapping… well, everything. But here’s what I’ve got so far!)
Republic
Knight is Vargus. Check.
Consular: Aishne Pashavi is my consular in-game. Aishne is a Mirialan and she follows the typical class story line. Her family were ambassadors on Corellia and she was discovered by the Green Jedi there, and trained with them for a time before landing on Tython. She ends up working closely with Master Gnost-Dural and Naadia on Ossus. (She also never abandoned Felix, her husband. Because of reasons.)
Smuggler: I don’t have one yet. Idk, In my brain, no one can really beat Hylo, and I haven’t made a smuggler that I’ve ever actually kept.
Trooper: Ruvah Khor is my trooper. Light side all the way. She follows orders as best she can, but knows when she can draw a line. Her superiors may not always like that, but they can’t argue with her results. She follows the class story line, and ends up marrying Jorgan. After the Alliance defeats Vaylin, Ruvah and Aric both retire for a few years before being pulled back into the conflict after Ossus.
Imperial
Sith Warrior: Lord Madraxian. Followed the warrior storyline, but took the Emperor abandoning the Empire pretty hard. When Arcann and crew took over, he was almost killed before Vette was able to cut the skytoopers off from following them. He decided to lay low for a bit and wait for an opportunity to strike back at Zakuul. And that is how my cool sith warrior ends up as a scary bodyguard for Gault and Vette. He joins the Alliance when they do, and is able to break out to go save Vette during Vaylin’s assault.
Sith Inquisitor: Darth Imperius/Vi’fan Kallig. He’s a bookworm who just can’t catch a break. He was a slave to a noblewoman on Drommund Kaas, but was sent to Korriban after discovering he was force sensitive. He follows the inquisitor story line as well, but romances Talos. He is… not a very good person. He’s not outright cruel, but he will scheme to protect what he loves at all costs, and he’s rather gifted at interrogations.
Bounty Hunter: Vhikka Farr. You guys have heard quite a bit about her, but I’ve twisted her story inside and out (sorry). She’s actually a member of clan Farr and living with those in the Order of Revan on Drommund Kaas at the beginning of her story. However, she’s heard of all the cheating that Tarro Blood is doing from her clan and decides to enter the Great Hunt the hard way and earn her place on her own. She packs up her beskar and heads to Hutta (she got that tip from one of my other bounty hunters). She follows the BH story after that, but has to reveal to Mandalore that she was already Mandalorian (and she’s very thankful that he found this funny rather than shooting her). She meets Vargus a couple of times throughout her travels, so they know each other during Shadow of Revan. This is where they actually start working together and where they fall for each other.
I also have a bounty hunter called Durgo Farr (or Pink). He grew up with Vhikka but was a few years older. He was already working as a Bounty Hunter when Vhikka was looking to join the Great Hunt. He had worked with Braden on Nar Shadda, so he set their meeting on Hutta up.
Agent: Sira’mi’rane, aka Amira. She’s a light-side imperial agent who is just trying to do her job. She’s pretty private, even with her crew and misses Copero (her homeworld). She only romances Aristocra Saganu, and they keep in touch through the expansions.
I also have a few more, but they’re not set in stone yet and may fall victim to the delete button.
3. What about companions? Do you follow their in-game story or have headcanons for them? Did they stay with your non-Outlander characters or not? Why?
Mostly? I mean, as much as Vhikka wants to blow Skadge out of the airlock, she can’t really bring herself to kill him. And he always manages to make it back on the ship, no matter how early she leaves the spaceport “unannounced”. Mako keeps in contact with Vhikka even though they separate, so I feel like there’s less abandonment/animosity there, and her and Akaavi join the Alliance sooner. (At the moment I don’t think anything changes for the other classes. But I’m also tired and there are so many of them.) Also, everyone lives! Yay!
4. If applicable: how your characters react if the Alliance joins the opposite faction on Iokath and after that? For example: how do Sith characters feel about joining the Republic? Will they stay or leave (if it’s too spoiler-ish, then feel free to skip this)?
I mean, most of my toons are relatively okay with Vargus siding with the Republic. Vhikka isn’t super fond of the idea, but she always made it a point that she wasn’t the Empire’s lapdog. (She knows that the Republic probably won’t accept her people even if Vargus vouches for them. She also REALLY doesn’t like being asked to be a double agent, and Vargus is so proud of her for controlling herself enough to not shoot Jonas when he asked.) The only ones who actually leave are Vi’fan and Talos, and that’s because he goes back to kill whoever has taken his libraries and offices and asks Talos to come with him. (He also just waltzes back into his spot on the Dark Council somehow. Idk, he’s just that good at what he does.) Most others eventually fall into their new places/roles.
5. If applicable: if your Commander decides to be a saboteur, would they tell anyone (PC or companions)? Why/why not?
Not applicable for Vargus, but I think that Vhikka may get persuaded to do it (oh no...). I haven’t really decided yet. If she does though, she’s going to be a mess. Shes definitely not cut out for that.
6. How would your characters react if one of their companions is exiled or dead because of Outlander’s choices? For example: sith warrior’s reaction if Commander doesn’t save Vette?
I know it’s cheesy, but I like that I saved Vette and Torian. Vhikka gets Torian and Madraxian gets Vette, which frees Vargus to go for Vaylin.
7. If you have something written about anything from the above (bc I know some people do), share the links to your works (again, if you feel like it)!
I… don’t actually have anything written. I try, but it’s always a jumbled mess. Maybe one day!
#this was a mess#but I'm so glad I've put it down in text#now I'm more likely to actually do something with it#my ocs#thank you for the tag! I hope it makes sense.....

Now that I have finished Suffering through the Imperial Agent storyline with Raz, what class should I play next? I went ahead and made placeholder toons for my other characters while I was in Philly:
Kestrel - twi’lek Jedi Consular (clone of the toon I made with the kotfe/kotet token)
November aka Ember - human Jedi Knight (hey look, it’s me, kind of; she’s probably gonna end up throwing hands with Satele by the end of her story based on some of the Things I Have Read)
Cershaa - togruta Trooper (it’s okay, troopers don’t need helmets, right?)
Zuvi - mirialan Smuggler
Dao-Mox aka Moxie - zabrak Bounty Hunter
All of them are on Star Forge, but I’ve also got my poor neglected Ember on Satele Shan. And I unlocked Cathar for all classes, and I have an Idea, but I haven’t decided what class (I just know they’re gonna be a Force-user and probably on Satele Shan).
Moxie would finish out the Imp-side classes for me on Star Forge, but I don’t know if I want to play the Bounty Hunter next or not. It didn’t seem like @astrifer-bound did too much Suffering while playing Vidimus, at the very least, so it might be a nice refresher after the Imperial Agent..
Vote?
#swtor#swtor oc kestrel#swtor oc ember#swtor oc cershaa#swtor oc zuvi#swtor oc moxie#i really don't like the bounty hunter's starter jammies#the smuggler's starter jammies are kinda cute though

SWTOR Parties Ranked
Wanted to see which SWTOR parties I liked best as a whole, so decided to do a little ranking of them. This is considering the entire party as a unit, and how many individual characters I feel strongly about.
Imperial Agent - Probably my favourite crew overall. I love every character in it, even if Kaliyo and SCORPIO scare the shit put of me and Lokin creeps me out, they're all fun characters to spend time with and talk to with interesting storylines. Probably gets bonus points for 3/5ths of them going on to be involved in the main plot for everyone. And I really like how they like... Acknowledge each other? There are multiple scenes of the Imperial Agent Crew talking to other members of the crew which is really cool
Trooper - This one I like because everyone has a reason to be there (which is even more than I can say for Agent - SCORPIO, Kaliyo, and possibly even Lokin and Vector can potentially have VERY little reason to stick around), they're all Havoc Squad, and Yuun and Vik are specifically recruited to be so. I also like all of the characters even if Vik, again, is kind of a piece of shit, and Yuun is kinda underdeveloped.
Bounty Hunter - With the major exception of Skadge, I love everyone on this crew. Mako is maybe my favourite starter companion overall, possibly tied with T7, and Blizz is... The best character. My jawa son. 20/10. I really love the BH crew as just this Morley crew of scum and villainy, and DEFINITELY appreciate it for being an Imperial crew with... No actual Imperials. The only points against the Bounty Hunter crew are, again, Skadge, and the fact that Gault, Blizz, and Skadge have very flimsy reasons for joining you (and Gault and Skadge have flimsy reasons for not being dead, depending on how you play your character)
Smuggler - This crew only ranks lower than Bounty Hunter because it doesn't have Blizz. But I like it for a lot of the same reasons I like the BH crew, it's just a gang of criminals trying to get by, again with no official representation from the faction they're ostensibly aligned with. Though Smuggler does again have points against it for having one character I absolutely hate in Corso (sorry Corso fans) who is probably my least favourite starter companion and one of my least favourite characters in the entire game. But it vastly makes up for Corso's dead weight with Risha, Bowdaar, Akaavi, and Guss all being characters I absolutely adore.
Jedi Consular - I like the Consular crew a lot for a lot of the reasons I like the Trooper crew, everyone has a reason to be there. With the exception of Tharan and *maybe* Zenith, it doesn't feel like the game has to strain to justify why any of the characters join your crew, they all have good reasons. The only thing I really have against it is we don't get much of the crew interacting with each other at all. There's a couple missions where they're all involved that are really cool but there isn't necessarily a sense they know each other. Also Tharan isn't as bad as Corso or Doc in terms of gross dude companions but I still... Really don't like him
Sith Inquisitor - Honestly this only goes here because I like the final two less. The Sith Inquisitor crew is... Really directionless? Aside from Khem, who is basically bound to you whether you want him to be or not, and Xalek who is your apprentice, no one really has a good reason to join the Inquisitor? Andronikos goes with you because... You helped him kill a guy I guess. Talos sticks with you because uh... I honestly entirely forget everything about Talos I don't like him very much. And Ashara... Makes sense if you actively corrupt her, I guess, but if you don't I don't really understand why she decides to stay with you forever. And if you do corrupt her the rest of her storyline makes very little sense. Besides Talos who isn't offensive, just kinda boring, and Xalek who I also don't dislike but really suffers from joining on *Corellia* which is later than literally every other character in the game and is literally the last planet, I love all of the Inquisitor companions as individuals I just don't think they really cohere.
Sith Warrior - I really like a lot of the ideas behind the Sith Warrior crew. Vette and (light side) Jaessa are absolutely fantastic characters that I love to death. Quinn is interesting as an extension of how the Warrior kinda has to deal with everyone they trust betraying them even if I hate how you're forced to forgive him, Broonmark is really interesting as a person who is so dogmatically committed to this philosophy of violence and destruction that he feels any member of his race that doesn't must be purged, and... Pierce just sucks, honestly. The Warrior crew isn't incoherent or bad, it's just full of *so* many characters I wish weren't forced to be on it. I understand why the Quinncident happens, and think Quinn's reasons for going through it are at the very least, understandable. But the fact that he HAS to walk out of it alive fucking sucks. I know the technical reasons for it, but I still dislike it. Broonmark is a character that none but the darkest dark side character would *ever* consider letting on their crew, to the point where in his Alliance Alerts it is literally *harder* to recruit him than not, and yet he joins no matter what and is also... Really underdeveloped. Pierce... Is just a fucking grunt. There's really no reason for him to continue to work with you after Taris. He did his job. And he's also... Super boring. Even Vette, who I love, doesn't... Really have a place with the Sith Warrior? Like I guess if you're a piece of shit and keep her a slave, she probably cleans the ship or whatever, but why would you take her into battle? She's a grave robber. I also don't really see how she thematically relates to the Warrior. I do love her though. She's great.
Jedi Knight - It sucks that I dislike the Jedi Knight crew so much because it is one of my favourite class storylines. But it's... Really incoherent to me? Like okay, T7 is there because R2-D2, and also he's my son and I love him. Kira is a fellow Jedi Knight (I refuse to consider her my Padawan, it makes no sense), sure. Doc... Though? Putting aside that I really hate Doc and think he sucks in every way possible, why is he here? I guess every ship needs a doctor except literally only the Trooper gets one. He doesn't really mesh with the themes of the Knight storyline? He doesn't seem like a guy who would even WANT to be on board a Jedis ship. I just don't get why he's there. Rusk, I guess, makes sense cause the Jedi have a connection to the Republic military but it still feels weird for him to be *personally* assigned to your ship and his storyline doesn't really go anywhere after he joins you. Scourge, I get, is the connection to the Revan plotline that has to be there because this is the main story of SWTOR, basically, and he's also directly connected to the emperor, so that all makes sense, I just... Don't like him (sorry Scourge fans). He's not the worst by any means but he's not a super interesting character to me? He's just a super generic Sith who decided the Emperor had to die. He also has absolutely no reason to stick around after the end of the story. Also I'm Petty and he killed the Jedi Exile for some bullshit ass destiny garbage so I really fucking hate him. And the crew as a whole feels maybe the least like a found family. Kira and Scourge have their stuff *after* the class storyline I guess, but it never feels like anyone has any connection to anyone else. They're all just... On the ship, I guess, not interacting.
If you read this far thanks, I have realized now that I'm here that this is a ridiculous endeavor and probably not a great post but I'm gonna post it anyway and I hope at least someone likes this post or agrees with some of it. Sorry again to anyone who is a fan of the characters I trashed (which, I know for Scourge at least is: Most people)

Part of that would depend on how you define first real fandom. Current one is Sanders Sides.
On one hand, that would be star wars and I have two excellent aus for that.
First one is one where Thomas and the Sides are all clones working to escape the Empire after Order 66. Their original titles were the names they were first given, then when on the run they choose more common names for themselves. Patton's the medic, Logan's the tactician and computers expert, Roman's the heavy that doodles and dreams in his free time. Thomas is the leader (or a random guy they met who helps them who happened to look like them). Virgil's the security expert. Janus is the infiltration/assassins expert, and Remus is the demolition expert who actually was made from the same batch as Roman. Orange's role will be determined when revealed. Rough storyline would have the original three and Thomas running away first then finding/rescuing the others as they go.
Second one is a Star Wars:The Old Republic based au where each of them are a pc. Roman and Remus are twin brothers of one of the Sith noble families (probably with their last name being some Sith word for creativity). Roman though abhorred that life and ran away to become the Jedi Knight while Remus stayed and became the Sith Warrior. Roman becomes friends with Patton, the Jedi Consular, who basically adopts him into his family. His brothers are Logan, who becomes the Republic Trooper, and Thomas, who ran away to become a Smuggler. Meanwhile on the other side, Janus takes his first mission as the Imperial Agent while Virgil is taken from slavery to become the Sith Inquisitor. Each of them meet each other, though Virgil leaves the Empire after being captured by the others on the Republic then being slowly befriended with the others following suit some time later. Orange would in this case end up as the Bounty Hunter.
Going by first fandom I engaged in though, that would be RWBY. And they could be fun as Vale students. The Sides already have a color theme with Thomas being both brown and rainbow. Then with the Orange Side, you can easily have two teams of four with the original three plus Thomas and the 'Dark Sides'.
Janus's half snake face would mark him as an obvious snake faunus with his weapon being his cane made into a cane sword while keeping the hook to be able to swing places and pull people to him. His semblance could be preventing people from saying what he doesn't want them to say, promising some very traumatic way for that to have been revealed. Then his name could be something like Janune Janus to tie his name to his main color of yellow. Definitely still wears the bowler hat and cape.
Remus and Roman would be twin brothers whose father (the King Creativity counterpart) left for a mission and never came back. Roman was the one who really wanted to become a Huntsman to be a hero like their father was while Remus sort a tagged along because he wanted to show up Roman and became being a Huntsman meant he could legally kill things. Roman would automatically have the color association of Roman Red for his name, but Remus would need something to connect to green...Perhaps Remus Uaine (twin born of green flames). Obviously though, Roman would have a katana based weapon while Remus would have a mace based weapon, with Roman maybe also getting a shield to match his symbol while Remus got a Roman gladius sword and also keep his ninja stars. Dust use wise, Roman's katana would probably be like Weiss's weapon while Remus's mace could potentially also lob Dust grenades. For semblances, could be a case where Remus finds his before Roman, making Roman feel like he has to push himself even harder. Remus's though would definitely be something that allows him to be unsettling, being able to twist his head all the way around and stuff like that. Being able to survive usually unsurviable physical injuries then pull himself back together? Roman's though would likely discover that he had an aura construct type semblance where he could have things he imagined brought into existence for a limited time.
Patton could be a hidden frog faunus, with the main giveaway either being heart shaped eyes or a long tongue. His semblance would half scare him by having him turn into a giant frog. (Other idea would have him he able to sense other's emotions.) Not exactly sure how to tie light blue into his name. Nor his weapon...Have a feeling Patton doesn't know where else to go but the Academy (maybe was also a former White Fang member).
Logan actually studied, trained, and prepared, having the highest marks on the entrance exams (not knowing that Roman was not far down below him). Definitely is Weiss like at first, but reveals the sift side and the high expectations he has for himself and he finds out his true dream is to become a teacher of future hunters. Name ties with Indigo blue somehow. A very logic based person, so might just go simple but effective and have a gun, that shifts between a pistol, a shotgun, and a sniper rifle. Uses Dust rounds strategically, with a semblance either allows him to ignore pain to focus on strategy, or to make his aura into a shield around him and his allies.
Virgil is probably a faunus, whether black cat, spider, or cheetah. Otherwise, there's some other reason for him being angsty and anxious. His semblance allows him to make it so that no one can see around where he was while he moves quickly through it (like he did in the Phases video). Has knives for his weapon of choice. Has a last name of Black, and some name connection with purple.
Thomas Sanders gets a color name somewhere in there and is good with acting and mimicry. His semblance either allows him to heal others or allows him to make copies of himself that he then controls to an extent while they're active. He's the leader of his team and starts the process of befriending the other team. Weapon and reason for being there are in progress.
Orange then will wait until we actually see him to figure out how he'd fit into this. Definitely have an Orange name though.
combine your first real fandom with your current one to create a terrible, terrible au

SWTOR Guilty Admissions: 2 and 20
Thanks! Oh, man, that first one is a doozy (thank goodness I keep a spreadsheet - though these numbers don’t include characters I deleted after finishing the vanilla story or characters I created for future play before the server merger.)
2. How many of each main class do you have (Warrior, Knight, Agent, Smuggler, Bounty Hunter, Trooper, Inquisitor, Consular)? How many of those are which sub-class? ((i.e. 4 BHs and 3 are PTs))
Assassins - 13, Sorcs - 4 = 17 SIs
Commandos - 4, Vanguard - 1 = 5 Troopers
Guardians - 2, Sentinels - 5 = 7 JKs
Gunslingers - 4, Scoundrels - 12 = 16 Smugglers
Juggernauts - 6, Marauders - 4 = 10 SWs
Mercenaries - 6, Powertechs - 4 = 10 BHs
Operatives - 8, Snipers - 6 = 14 IAs
Sages - 6, Shadows - 9 = 15 JCs
(obviously I have a thing for stealth specs, lol.)
20. How many times have you done the planet storylines and finished them?
I honestly have no way to answer this one. Too many planets, etc. and over too many years. I can honestly say not less than 10 times for every planet, and probably less than 30, lol.

2, 13, and 20 for swtor guilty admissions
=D Thank!
2) How many of each main class do you have (Warrior, Knight, Agent, Smuggler, Bounty Hunter, Trooper, Inquisitor, Consular)? How many of those are which sub-class? ((i.e. 4 BHs and 3 are PTs))
I have 1 each of Agent (Sniper), Smuggler (Gunslinger), Bounty Hunter (PT, and that was a mistake), Trooper (Commando), and Consular (Sage, also a mistake).
Despite loving the Sith Warrior storyline and playstyle, I only have 2 of them: 1 Marauder and 1 Juggernaut, and the Jugg hasn’t even finished his class story yet because I just... don’t like the playstyle at all :/
And then I have... 4 Knights (3 Sentinels, 1 Guardian, and 1 of the Sentinels is an insta-60 so I’m not sure if he counts. Also 3 of those Knights are Kat.) and 4 Inquisitors (2 Assassins, 2 Sorcerers, and both of those Assassins are also Kat).
You can uh. You can tell what storylines and playstyles are my favorites.
13. How many pets do you have on one toon? How often do you have your favorites out?
Ohhhh, let’s see. Primary Jedi Kat probably has the most, since he’s the oldest, so... 23. Which, let’s be honest, isn’t that many. I do have my favorites (Striated Wriggler and the Miniature Isotope 5 Droid) but I don’t have them out as often as I’d like because they get stowed automatically on area transition and I just... forget. =( That said, it might be a good thing because @anecdotesandelderthings actually died once because I got so distracted with cooing over the striated wriggler that I failed to notice all of the rakghouls.)
20. How many times have you done the planet storylines and finished them?
It varies from planet to planet! I’ve done all of them Pub-side at least twice (main Jedi Kat and tiny Jedi Kat went through everything). But I rolled the rest of my pub characters after 4.0 so xp wasn’t a big deal, and I only took them through the planets that were interesting. Which, pub-side, was... I don’t remember. So maybe I’ve only done the pub-side planets twice.
Imp-side is more varied. Ashlan did all of the planet-side quests except for Quesh and Hoth, and Sikai did all of the planet-side quests except for Hoth and Corellia. Sith Kat did all of the planet-side quests, including Hoth, which (fun story) was the first time I’d done Hoth on Imp side because Hoth on Pub-side was such a nightmare the first time that I never wanted to do it again. I was there for 3 real-life days. It was so bright. So tedious. Augh. But the imp-side story for Hoth actually surprised me by being pretty interesting, and the encounter with Master Sav was way more cool (ha). But other than that, I try to always do Dromund Kaas, Nar Shaddaa, Tatooine, Taris, and Voss on imp-side because they don’t suck.

SWTOR Character Questions
I was tagged by @malavaisquinn. Thank you! :D (I have a character list here.)
Do you have more Imperial or Republic characters?
My Imperial characters outnumber the Republic characters by one.
Which class do you play as the most?
In terms of Actual Playtime, Imperial Agent, since I have two Agents who finished the class storyline and SOR. But I also have two Sith Warriors and two Jedi Knights. Not that I have much love for the JK story.
Which race do you play as the most?
I have three Twi'leks: Raelen (Sith Inquisitor), Atalen (Jedi Consular), and Siennh (Smuggler). Raelen and Atalen finished their class stories and most of the planetary arcs, and are currently on Makeb. But I technically play Chiss more often since both Agents are Chiss.
How many have completed Kotfe/Kotet?
None. Niayes is on chapter 15 of KOTFE. I'd like to take almost everyone to KOTFE, but I highly doubt I’d finish it on all of them, much less make it to the end of KOTET.
How many have completed up to Copero?
None.
Who stayed loyal to their class romance?
Cehirse and Vojja, though Vojja won't go past her class story anyway. Thrisc and Kaliyo amicably broke up by the end of the class story. (At least, that seems to have happened - he refused to marry her in her second-last conversation and iirc he didn’t receive the romance mails after her last conversation. I think she wasn’t the companion who said the final line at the end of the story, unlike Vector for Niayes. So either my memory is terrible or her romance got unflagged.)
In-game, Niayes will have to break up with Vector, but I headcanon that that happened before she met Lana. The rest didn't romance their companions.
Who started a romance with Lana, Theron or Koth?
Niayes romances Lana. Thrisc romances Theron; Siennh will, too. No one has romanced Koth yet.
Who is your oldest (having played the longest) oc?
Raelen. She was the first character I had A Concept for, back in 2011.
Who is your newest?
Orakur, my LS Trooper, who was created to replace the boring white guy who nearly reached the end of his story. I just finished Tatooine on him yesterday and im love him.
Who is your favorite?
I don't have one. Raelen, Cehirse, and Atalen are fun. Niayes has become the most frequent POV character when I write, but that's probably because she ended up with the most lighthearted characterisation, so she's the least tiring/most amusing. Thrisc was totally unplanned until around SOR's release, but he quickly became the most interesting to play because I would take the options that Niayes hadn’t.
Tagging anyone who wants to do this!

swtor for the ask meme
(From this ask meme)
Favorite character: If I’m going to pick just one character, it would be Light Side!Jaesa. She is so different from most other “fallen Jedi” in the Star Wars universe in that even after being let down by the Jedi Order, leaving the Order and joining a Sith, LS!Jaesa still remains a staunch follower of the Light with strong moral beliefs, and she eventually finds her own path as a Light Side Force user. Not to mention Jaesa is a woman of colour - as a woman of colour myself, when it comes to fictional characters I prioritize female characters of colour above all else.
Least Favorite character: There are quite a few characters I truly despise so it’s difficult for me to pick just one: Vitiate/Valkorion, Skadge, Doc, Tharan, Pierce and Corso.
5 Favorite ships (canon or non-canon): Vette x LS!Jaesa, Lana x Female Sith Warrior x Quinn, Female Smuggler x Risha, Female Trooper x Elara, Jedi Consular x Felix
Character I find most attractive: Jaesa.
Character I would marry: Elara. She’s probably the best wife material for me out of all the ladies in SWTOR.
Character I would be best friends with: Probably LS!Jaesa since we have very similar personalities. Also Vette, since I would like to be friends with women who deeply cherishes women and are passionate about fighting for her people.
a random thought: As a lesbian of colour, I wish we could have wlw romance options who are also women of colour, since both Lana and Lemda - the only two wlw romance options we currently have - are white. Not to mention wlwoc get very little media representation in general.
An unpopular opinion: Despite the Republic’s many, many flaws, the Sith Empire is still worse for being an inherently fascist organisation. I hate the argument that both the Republic and the Sith Empire are equally bad, and if I never see another “at least the Empire is honest about being evil” comment again it would be too soon.
my canon OTP: Female Sith Warrior x Lana
Non-canon OTP: Vette x LS!Jaesa
most badass character: I would say LS!Jaesa again, since I feel her badass qualities are very underappreciated. During the Sith Warrior story, she’s willing to go behind her master’s back to reach out to the Sith Warrior as an attempt to negotiate. During her companion storyline, she does not let her initial failure to ally with the light side Sith consume her, and she survives her encounter with a Sith Lord who is hunting for the Light Side Sith alone. Even back when Jaesa was still a Padawan, she managed to complete the Demon’s Blood by herself, without fighting or killing the Sand Demon.
pairing I am not a fan of: I have a fair amount of NoTPs for SWTOR so it’s difficult to just pick one, though the main ones are Male Sith Warrior x DS!Jaesa, Female Jedi Knight x Doc, Female Sith Warrior x Pierce, Female Jedi Consular x Tharan and Female Smuggler x Corso. My NoTPs that does not involve a player character include Pierce x Vette and Quinn x Vette.
character I feel the writers screwed up (in one way or another): The biggest examples are Vaylin, Saresh and Koth. I will always be bitter about how much KotET goes out of its way to portray Vaylin as irredeemable and thus forcing players to kill her. Saresh’s writing has been going downhill after Makeb, and her plotline in KotET seems like the writers deliberate and contrived attempt to justify being able to kill her to pander to Saresh haters. Koth also gets screwed over by KotFE and KotET’s bad writing and the writers’ attempt to pander to his haters.
favourite friendship: Vette & Female Sith Warrior, LS!Jaesa & Female Sith Warrior
character I want to adopt or be adopted by: I would like Senya as my space mum.
