I didn’t mean to slander Sebastian, or to better word it, your own Sebastian that you created (not sure if I’m wording this right lol) in your art/fan fiction. I didn’t mean to imply he was just an overall violent or rude character; I was just trying to poke fun at the run-ins he’s had with Leander & Lawley in your own little oc world. I know those encounters in your writing had plenty of backstory and reasoning behind them, and you didn’t just write him to be someone who outlashes at others unreasonably. I should have expressed myself properly and not just assumed you would automatically read my intention from such little words. It was definitely careless of me since, as someone who’s been admiring your work for a while, I know you’ve had issues here and there with people bashing your work and not understanding the complexity of your story, and my small comment where I said ‘cough violent cough’ definitely could have been thrown into those critiques without me further explaining myself in the previous ask. I’m not sure if I’m being a bit overdramatic by sending you this long apology, but I genuinely felt bad seeing how my joke didn’t land and possibly made you upset. Again, I really appreciate all you do for the fandom, and I’m sorry!

I just wanted to say thank you and also share my story in case it might help someone who's struggling.

It happened at the end of last month but I was feeling a bit shy so I didn't share it at the time but anyway 💕

I manifestation (revised) getting my 10 days off after my manager told me she couldn’t give it to me.

So where I am from, every month you work, you accumulate 2,5 paid days off and you can chose when to use them as long as you tell the manager before they start making the schedule. I had accumulated 10 but since it was my first job, I did not know and asked for 8 days off. I had asked for those days all the way back in August because I wanted to be sure to have Christmas off.

For personal reasons I decided to resign and leave at the at the end of November but they told me they needed help for the month of December so I decided to stay but asked to get my 8 days vacation. I had asked to be off from the 21st to the 28th but when I realized I could ask for 10 days, I asked to get from the 19th to the 28th off instead. However, my manager told me she could only give me 8 days (from the 19th to the 26th and I would go back to work on the 27th) because I wasn’t supposed to work that month and she had already made the planning and adding my 10 days off would be too much. I resigned myself until I saw that she actually gave me only 4 days. 

I was super mad and I was going to text her about it but 💖 I read your post on revision and how you revise your day to have been better 💖 so I was like: - I want 10 days so I’m getting 10 days on the dates I wanted. - So I affirmed: “I’m so happy I got my 10 days off from the 19th to the 28th and guess what!”

I went to sleep, woke up having totally forgotten about it and then I received the notification that my leave was approved by my other manager from the 21st to the 28th but on my schedule I'm actually off from the 19th to the 28th 🥳. 

All that in less than 24 hours 💖

(I ended up resigning again but a win is a win!!)

i love when people ask me about me bc it makes me so happy to exist in peoples mind i just want to be Thought about i love answering questions about myself/my interests!! when i ws fourteen i wrote a whole fuckjing masterlist on how to write but its no longer releveant LMAOOo also i yap so much so this is all under a cut LMAOO

tldr: i totally suggest 1) listen to music you dont mind zoning out to 2) read a variety of books to develop style/voice 3) write things you want!! if youre intrigued/intersted by smth it makes it a lot better!!

also pls for the love of god use paragraph breaks istg i refuse to read anything that is One paragraph long. a smaller ick of mine is the refusal to pargraph break after dialouge bc idk it just makes me :( but its not that bad overall lolol

tbh the only thing i recc for new writers is reading!! im a strong believer that if youre a strong reader you can become a strong writer!! i wanna get back into traditionally published books/classics but the issue w doing an engl [literature] degree is i was reading ballparck 15-20 books/semester and it just got so exhausting that i struggle to get back into traditional publishing but im trying to get into it!!

if youre like jsut getting into reading i think starting at middle grade books is good bc theyve got a good variety and easy readability so theyre like. not as daunting. and also!! variety is so great!! i have REALLY strong opinions about some currently published authors but also ive never been really someone who's super into reading books bc its by a specific author bc i think you can accidentally end up trapped too bc authors have their quirks and its like. you might end up only writing in that fashion bc thats all youre reading so variety is good to diversify and find what you enjoy about writing!!

me personally i really like flowery words and descrptions!! i wanna evoke emotions and trigger associations through sentenes that are *just* long enough and evoke longing!! or horror!! i tend to gravitate towards fantasty/romance/psycohological horror/mystery so those are the books ive been reading in the last ten years but before that i stanned warrior cats and historical fiction so hard. more recently though i read exclusively xreaders sorry guys i need my escapisim but!! i definitely think bridgerton Changed something in me so i think i pulled some of my writing voice from there too!!

also!! music is a big part of my writing process - when i really wanna focus on put on more lowkey music - oohyo is a big reference for the general vibe when im listening to music to write. rn im going to be listening to a lot of hit me hard and soft bc that album (billie eilish) is a sound that i like (kinda haunting, bouncy idk). lana del rey, k r&b or rock/power ballads as well if im feeling it (rn im going back to utsup/maretu/other vocarock prods) - music just helps me hone in when im trying to write thousands of words on top of each other lolol

great news, i only have one character design sheet. i mean, one design and this one... art-but-not-really </3 my laptop is broken and so is my tablet, so i'm left with searching discord messages with hopes i'll find something. also, super happy to see other anons reply to my little question HDGFHD but onto the designs!

since i'm on anon i can't send a picture so! the first design ( https://imgur.com/d656MHg ) is for my snezhnayan oc, who is... well, half a ghost half a human. she was once a very popular and passionate singer in a snezhnayan theatre! and then someone sabotaged her. she lost her voice. then she tried to turn into the major character death tag but failed and celestia said "no, you're not dying, here's your pyro vision, now go and haunt the theatre." she's not enjoying her life. her design was more focused to give her, oh, like, pretty singer vibes, the pretty girls you'd see on pinterest but also... look a bit more genshin with the colors and stuff. overall this was my second more complex genshin design so... i like it. it's nice.

and now. back when i was actively playing anime rhythm gacha games, it was pretty common for people to edit the cards. you know. i did that! and some time i edited my alchemist lady into a card of my favorite love live character! i attached both original card and my edit (here https://imgur.com/a/pcIs6r4 ) and... i mean, her design is very self indulged because, grand reveal, i created her first as my genshin-sona but then she turned into an actual OC so. yes. but also, she's a traveler so she's allowed to have her clothes not fully fit the nation she's from. and besides i do plan on giving her alternative outfits from every nation she visited so... additional info, she also has a big fluffy coat with her. yeah.

one design is... lost somewhere. and the other is for, surprise, another snezhnayan OC who's based of slavic mythology and one day i sure will digital it. that's a lot post im sorry AHAJHDF 🌻

Chemo day 2 thoughts? 💪

im a lil bit out of it, but the tl;dr is CHEMO KICKS ASS IM SO HAPPY WE'VE STARTED ✨✨✨ WOO

Re. your question from earlier - the actual bags themselves take anything from 30mins to 90mins each once you're hooked up to the IV, but its all the stuff either side of that that makes it take so long (ie. any additional pre-medications, the saline flushes between drug treatments, taking vitals, observation periods, etc).

I only did one bag yesterday, but that appointment still took like 3 and a half hours (in large part bc I had a minor allergic reaction to the chemo drug itself and had to pause mid way through and get an infusion of steroids and antihistamines, then sit through an observation period before we could continue.)

It wasn't a major, but I still feel like im half sedated rn from the antihistamines - they basically gave me a straight jolt of the stuff that's in night time cough syrups that makes you super drowsy via IV, it was like an IMMEDIATE feeling of being sedated 😅. Got home and had a 2 hour nap, then my fiance made me dinner and i just went right back to sleep again haha

And no, the actual transfusions aren't all that uncomfortable 💗

The first day was especially fine, as two of the drugs I am getting are targeted HER2 receptor antibody treatments (i.e. they very much attack directly where they need to, so the wider effects like nausea and fatigue and stuff aren't as noticeable).

The third drug bag (the one I had on Day 2, yesterday) was the actual chemotherapy drug itself. Because its the more widespread, "lets just start a fire under this whole thing and get stuff happening" drug, yeah, that one was a little more noticeable, both while I was hooked up and after the fact, bc it hits everything, and it hits HARD (but overall, really not too bad!)

I'm still healthy at the moment, and have a decent immune system to fight back against things, so as that wears down over the next few months, yes chemo is going to get harder and i'll feel the effects more. But as of right now, all I have a little bit of muscle/joint pain, my teeth hurt for a while, weirdly, and food tastes kinda weird rn.

But, you know what?

That just means this shit is working 💪💪💪

That is SO damn exciting. What an absolute privilege to notice tangible effects already. God I wish this level of medical care was available to everyone who needed it, bc holy shit... I have never been in doubt that im going to beat this thing, but all the people I have behind me are helping me to believe that a thousand times over.

🖊️ New Things I Tried 🖊️

Started off the year strong with posting alien smut for the first time in Haunted by One Another! Inquisitor/Nizana have been an OTP of mine within different Star Wars RP groups for a hot minute (like, literal years a hot minute) so it was about time I actually got to writing about them and their dynamic.

And of course I started with smut because I’m a simple being at the end of the day, but also because they have a very base relationship that starts out as just Enemies With ‘Bennies. They’re kinda sorta real toxic, but I like to think even their smut speaks a lot for their dynamic and I had a lot of fun writing it. 💖

But, seriously, everyone here knows Dueteragony is my baby, and even though I didn’t get to work on it this year as much as I did last year, I think the overall quality of the writing was significantly higher. I may not have put out as much but I really think I’ve grown as a writer and I’m really happy about that. I’m still learning a lot and that’s really exciting!

Its a pretty short piece, but Within you lies the Best of Us is definitely up there. There were moments in basically everything I wrote that made me super happy this year, but being able to gleefully wait for your friend to realize that your friend has received a gift fic HITS DIFFERENT.

• Get Dueteragony mostly finished (I really want a good chunk of that bad boy done prior to Dreadwolf, if all of it. Though, I do accept that parts of the last fifth of the story may have to be tweaked depending on the events of Dreadwolf. I HAVE PLANS, I HAVE CHARTS, I HAVE SO MANY SPREADSHEETS.)

• Write a sequel to Haunted by One Another. I really want to post more of the Inquisitor and Nizana’s relationship, how they went from Enemies to Lovers, and also just... write more fun smut between those two losers. I’m currently working on a direct sequel, but I also want to do a prequel, and maybe some oneshots. I’ll most likely end up making a little series grouping for them and shove them all in there for ease of organization rigiuerbgierb

• Actually start that ding dang What If fic I was going to do of Felassan and Mellan that I promised @because-im-hap-hap​ and @rosella-writes​ I was going to do.

• Actually finish the draft and post the WandaVision AU fic of Solas and Mellan that I promised basically everyone I know that I would do--

• Finish the Solas in heat smut that I also promised I’d finish I’m so sorry everyone my goals should just be “finish your pile of WIPs you savage...”

This was a ton of fun and a really interesting way to look at all the things I’ve done this year. ^_^ It’ll really be fun to see what next year brings as well!! :D

aurgh his ww2 skin is so good i was SO happy it came as a reward for the story mode- i would say get the story mode when it's on sale just for some of the skins you get for playing it, honestly- he looks just so goofy but i will say as someone who came from the cod fandom... it's an excuse to put him in tac gear and ohohohoho i should NOT be given this power-

oh god, that's a good question. the thing is, all my favorite things have made me sad. but also there's nothing i hate more than things that are going for the cheap tears. like, i want something that makes me feel something because it's compelling, not because it's obvious tearbait, you know? so overall i'd say happy, but if it's something good that's sad it'll trump happy any day. like i watched 86 this year and it just made me feel so much, definitely my favorite anime i watched this year where i also finished Wan Sheng Jie this year and it's super fun and all happy moments and while i like it it just doesn't hit half as hard.
