Luke Castellan x Apollo kid!Reader
word count: 851
summary: Luke castellan and the daughter of apollos love story
a/n: âremember who the enemy isâ IM TRYING
Luke Castellan held your heart since the day you met, and you held his.
You arrived at camp a few months after Luke. You were one of the lucky ones, claimed within an hour of being there. Your godly father is Apollo, god of poetry, the sun, music, narcissism, idiocy, stupidity, all that. You had assumed the gods would act superior to all, no matter if they were or werenât. But Apollo was on a completely different level. You didnât know why he had taken such a liking to you.
âYou remind him of himself,â Your half sister, Kayla, had told you, âan archer who never misses, healer who fixes every wound, gifted singer, and somehow picked up the lyre in a day. And yet, you still ask why Apollo loves you the most?â
âI wish he wouldnât,â you twirl the golden arrow he gifted you.
âyâknow, that hermes boy has been staring since the moment you stepped foot here,â she smiles, nodding to the tan boy sitting on a picnic table.
âGreat, more attention,â you keep your sights on the boy, lucas? Luca, maybe?
âHis nameâs luke castellan,â kayla says, ah luke, thatâs it.
âHeâs handsome,â you say matter of factly.
âDonât trust those Hermes boys, all they do is lie,â Kayla leans back and rolls her eyes.
âItâs a good thing I play the lyre.â
ââââââ
âYouâve got a great shot,â a deep voice says from behind you.
Youâve been at the range for around an hour, itâs 4:30, you always practice when no one else is around.
âThe whole reason why I come out here this early is so i can be alone,â sure, it sounds mean but you swear youâre not trying to be.
âSorry, once I see you itâs hard to look away,â youâre not looking at him but you can tell me has the biggest smirk on his face.
âFunny,â you tell him bluntly.
You set down your bow, keeping the arrow in your hand, and sit on the nearby grass. He lays down beside you, you follow his lead and put your hands behind your head.
âThat arrow, itâs like itâs made of the sun,â He says amazed.
âA gift from dear old dad. No matter how far I shoot itâll always come back. Supposed to be a sign of his love or something. But I think he just constantly wants me to be annoyed by him,â you inform him possibly too much.
âMost people would be grateful if their godly parent cares that much,â he says.
âItâs different with Apollo, there is no such thing as true altruism with him,â you bite your inner lip.
âI get that, Iâm just tryna say- Hermes never showed up for me, and I'd kill to just have him tell me he cares,â His eyes furrow.
âGuess we both have different priorities,â you smile.
âOpposites work best donât they?â He smiles back.
âIsnât it opposites attract?â You wonder.
âHey, your words, not mine,â he laughs.
âThat oneâs Orion,â You point up at the constellation.
âHe was always my favorite,â he adds.
âMine has always been Cassiopeia, but you can never see her over here,â You look back up at the sky.
âThat oneâs Taurus, and then Sirius below, and Gemini above,â you point each of them out.
Even though he hums in acknowledgment his eyes are locked on you.
âYouâre staring, againâ You mention.
âI told you I canât help it, especially when you glow like that,â he reaches out and touches your face.
You reach out and grab his hand, running your fingers against his slender digits.
âIâd like to be a constellation when I die, maybe my father will fulfill that wish,â you say to him.
âThatâll be my last wish too, we can lay in the stars together.â
ââââââ
Itâs been a day since Percy Jackson came to Camp Half-blood. It just so happens to be your favorite day of the year, capture the flag. You have led the archers on the blue team for years, youâd say youâre doing well for what youâre given. Besides your siblings in Apollo the rest of the kids werenât as gifted in archery.
As the first conch shell blew you were preparing for your mock-battle. Annabeth in charge of the plan and Percy, Luke with company, and you with the archers. You knew you could, no- would win. The archers took the trees, helping stray company from the skies.
âToday feels like a winning kind of day?â Annabeth asks luke.
âIâll see you on the other side,â He smiles.
âLuke!â You pull him aside for a moment.
You cup his face the best you can through his armor. âYou donât get hurt okay? I donât feel like healing anymore wounds from you. Understand?â
âOh but I love to see you healingâ he holds your hand and smirks
âArchers! Move out!â You call your team, eyes still locked with his, smiling.
âso⌠you and her?â Percy asks the taller boy.
âhow could I not? She's perfect. I mean, I genuinely believe I could live without the sun if I just had her.â
And maybe, just maybe, he could.

âââ
âStop looking at me like that,â You grumbled with your knees pressed into your chest.
âWhat? I think you look pretty. I think itâs adorable you dressed up for me,â Eddieâs eyes glinted at you as he held his head in his hand, the other tracing small circles into the sheets beneath you.
âWhat are you talking about?â Your mouth hung open, feigning offense.
âThis,â Eddie pulled your bra strap with his middle finger, lightly snapping it against your skin. âDid you buy these cute matching undies just for me?â
âYou wish,â Your nose and mouth crinkled as you tried to fight a smile.
âOh, whatever. You were the one who asked me to give you your first time,â He chuckled, scratching his stubbled cheeks.
âBecause I trust you,â You said, slightly more serious. Your appreciation for him was clear in your heavy-lidded eyes.
Eddie moved closer to you, gently cupping your cheek and brushing his thumb against your jawline.
âYou do?â he murmured, feeling his heart beat wildly against his chest as he admired your affectionate expression. He sprinkled kisses on your forehead, your eyelids, the tip of your nose, and finally, your lips.
You leaned into his fluttering touches with a silent laugh. âOf course I do, baby,â Your voice was sweet and breathy.
Even with the jitters of your first time looming over your head, it hardly threatened to ruin the moment. Something was intoxicating about being in his room, the faint smell of his cologne and weed smoke put you in a trance. Plus you knew Eddie would treat you with the utmost care.
He shot you a quick, mischievous look. His arms were placed on either side of your body, now towering over you. âSo youâre saying I can do whatever I want?â He quipped, believing the joke was obvious to you.
Your breathing picked up as you watched him hover. Itâs not like you didnât trust him, but this was a big deal to you. It was no longer just an adorable conversation you were having with him on the drive home, you were actually in his bed, moments away from losing your virginity.
âWell, maybe not whatever you want,â A nervous laugh came out of you when you caught a glimpse of his strong gaze.
Seeing you suddenly grow tense, Eddieâs face quickly softened towards you. With a chuckle, he reached down and tapped his index finger to your nose. âRelax, sweetheart. How about this; When I touch you, Iâll keep checking in, yeah? And you can tell me to stop at any time, I promise,â
You closed your eyes and exhaled into a feathery laugh. âOkay, okay, fine,â You jokingly groaned.
âLetâs just go slow, yeah?â You had an encouraging smile on your face as you reached up to twirl one of his loose curls between your fingers.
âSlow and careful,â Eddie echoed, his smile growing as he admired the way your skin looked in the dim lighting. He loved the way the sheets pooled around your hips, and the thin fabric of your underwear made the shape of your legs all too obvious to him. His pupils dilated as he drank in the sight of you.
âGood,â You confirmed.
âGod, baby, youâre so pretty,â Eddieâs hands moved down your body, tracing your skin with his fingertips and leaving gentle goosebumps in his wake. His gaze never left your face, checking for any signs of discomfort or fear.
âNo, you,â You retorted with a bashful smirk.
âDonât sell yourself short, now. We can both be pretty,â Eddie chuckled. The warm light of the room looked amazing against his skin, you were mesmerized. âYou mind if I get rid of these?â he asked, referencing your underwear with a tug.
âNot at all,â You lifted your pelvis, helping Eddie with taking them off.
He made a shooting noise as he pulled the elastic of your panties and snapped it across the room, making it land in his hamper. You both broke for a moment to laugh.
âOh my god, of course you made that,â You shook your head, still laughing.
âHey, you gotta admit that was pretty cool,â Eddie winked before licking at his smile. He made a mental note that you were laughing more than usual, which he took as a sign that his efforts to keep you calm were working.
âOkay yeah, fine, it was kinda cool,â You playfully shrugged, not wanting to give him too much satisfaction.
He was so good at making you feel comfortable, he made you forget for a moment that your sex was completely bare in front of him.
âOf course it was,â Eddie grinned down at you. He slowly moved his body closer to yours, the warmth of his skin sending tremors across your body.
âAre you ready, gorgeous?â he asked, carefully placing his hands on your knees. He gently spread them apart, his breath becoming more deliberate as he got closer. âAnd remember our deal okay?â
You nodded rapidly. âYou got it,â
You dreamily laid your head on your shoulder. A breathy moan escaped you as he lingered over your hips. You passed a hand through his hair, admiring his eager face as it was framed in your thighs.
âThatâs my girl,â The grin Eddie gave you along with his sugary praise made your heart swell. âYou ready for me to make you feel good?â Eddie mumbled before placing a trail of kisses along the inside of your thigh.
âUm, yeah. Yes,â You croaked, hiding the disappointment in yourself. You felt like dirty talk came out of Eddie so naturally. It all sounded so good to you, but when it came time for you to reciprocate, it felt like a flurry of awkward mumbles and head nods.
âYeah? Youâre so cute,â Eddie grinned, his nose ghosting over your skin. His hands slid along the backs of your thighs, rubbing up and down in soothing motions. He kept the pace slow, waiting for any sign that you wanted more. âDo you want me to touch you, baby?â
You nodded even more desperately now. âPlease?â
âYour wish is my command,â Eddieâs voice was dripping with adoration as one of his hands left your thigh and started rubbing circles over your warmth, his chin resting on your knee.
Your eyes fluttered shut and a trembling breath followed. Before you came into his room that night, all you wanted to do was get it over with just to say you did it. Now with the way he was touching you, only made you want him to explore your body for hours.
âSee? Youâre doing great, baby,â He cooed as his fingers moved over your wet folds.
Eddie loved that your body was so incredibly responsive. The way you arched your hips towards him was incredibly inviting to him. He picked up the pace slightly, watching you closely to make sure he didnât overstimulate you.
âFeels good, doesnât it angel?â The teasing grin on his face widened as his eyes roamed over you hungrily.
âReally good,â Your laugh shifted into a moan as he repeated the motion with even more pressure.
âAre you going to come, pretty girl?â He lightly teased, his eyes roaming all over your body, taking in every twitch and tremble.
âI donât know, what is it supposed to feel like?â You asked a bit frantically.
You knew of the concept, but you never made yourself come before. However, you were suspicious of a growing warmth in your lower stomach that built as he picked up his pace.
âItâs okay, angel. Youâre doing so well, I promise youâll know when itâs happening,â He reassured you.
He could feel your legs shaking more and more as you started to get closer to a peak. âYouâre gonna feel it building, baby. Itâs gonna get real overwhelming, but trust me it feels so damn good.â He wanted to keep you completely focused on that feeling in your stomach. âJust focus on my fingers, okay?â
âEddie,â You gasped, grabbing him. You tugged lightly, your nails digging into his flexed arm. His tongue stuck out of his mouth in concentration as he kept running his fingers over you.
Waves of satisfaction and relief came over him as he watched you climax. His eyes locked on you, with his mouth slightly agape in a smile, mimicking your facial expression as you came down, the way your features trembled and twisted in satisfaction.
âJesus Christ,â he mumbled under his breath as he watched you slowly come back down to Earth. âYou alright?,â
âYeah Iâm okay,â You panted. Your shaking hand reached to cup his cheek. As much as you enjoyed it, you were amused to see that he was having an even better time.
âThat was amazing,â You breathlessly complimented.
"Yeah? Well, you are amazing," Eddie planted a quick kiss on your palm, nuzzling a little into your hand.
He let out a low chuckle and he suddenly looked a little flustered from your compliment. "Did you think I did okay? I wasn't too rough or anything, was I?â
âNo, no, baby it was perfect,â You stuttered urgently.
âIâm glad, Sweetheart,â He sighed in relief before pecking a few more kisses around your face. He lifted your chin. âAre you ready for more?â
Your enthusiastic nods returned. âIâm ready,â
Eddie's heart thrummed in his chest at your excitement, and a small laugh bubbled out from him. He could almost feel his pulse throbbing in his pants. "Absolutely, positively sure?" he asked in a tease
âBaby, câmon. I really wanna do this,â You whined, covering your blushing face.
You knew he was joking but you were really not in the mood. He had no idea of the fire he started in you. Eddie's breath hitched at your desperate whine. He lurched toward your bedside table, pulling it open and rummaging through it before finding what he was looking for. He grabbed a condom and tossed it on the bed beside you, his eyes gleaming with anticipation. "You want it that bad, huh?"
You scrunch your nose to hide your smile. âShut up, youâre such a pig,â You joked.
You curiously looked at the black foil sachet he threw. You slowly picked it up with your hands and then examined it closer.
âDid you want me to put it on you?â
"Only if you want to, baby," He loved watching that innocent look you had as you spoke your mind.
âWill you show me how, babe?â You chewed your lip.
You took the corner of the wrapper and tore it off. You studied the clear disc of plastic, your breathing getting heavier. Holding it made it more real. You were sweating in anticipation.
"Of course, sweetheart," his voice was dripping with adoration as he watched you fiddle with the condom, his breath coming a little quicker than normal. It took everything he had not to just rip it out of your hand and put it on himself.
Eddie had no intentions of giving you a strip show, but you were entranced by him taking off his clothes anyway. You were amused by the way his hair whipped around as he pulled his shirt over his head. Then he took his jeans off. You were unable to take your eyes off of him, taking in the view of his length.
âIs this how you do it?â You asked, bringing it toward his twitching cock.
Eddie's breath caught in his throat as you reached for him, and he was suddenly hyperaware of the way the light hit the shape of his body.
You then placed the condom on him, slowly rolling it over his length. Your eyes were wide, not allowing you to miss one moment.
âIs that good?â You asked again, looking for his reaction.
"Yeah, perfect," Eddie exhaled, biting down on his bottom lip as he watched you.
He reached down and took your chin into his hand, leaning down to kiss you gently on the lips, moaning softly as his tongue slipped past your lips and twirled with yours. He laid you back once more, positioning himself in between your legs. You held onto his forearms as he leaned in closer, his weight pinning you a bit. You let him take over, following his touches as nonverbal instructions.
Eddie was in a haze of pure desire as he felt the heat of your body against him. "You ready, baby?" he managed to ask.
You gripped his shoulders, took a deep breath, then nodded. âYeah, totally ready,â You exhaled loudly, trying to relax your body and surrender your focus to him.
Eddie was determined to make this experience everything you could have ever wanted. He took a deep breath of his own as he gently rolled his hips against yours. He watched your face intently to make sure you were okay. "Is it okay? Is it good, baby?"
As he pushed into you for the first time, you let out a sharp hiss. It was a pinch of pain that only lasted for a few seconds before you calmed back down.
âIâm okay, it wasnât that bad,â Your voice shook but it was accompanied by a content smile.
Eddie noticed the way you grimaced slightly as you tried to get used to new sensations from inside. His heart twisted at the sight and he instantly slowed his movement, his hands moving to gently cup your face. "I promised I'd be gentle with you, right? I don't want to hurt-"
But before he could finish the sentence, he realized his worry was misplaced. He felt you relax under him, releasing airy noises in pleasure. You grabbed his face, bringing his forehead to yours.
âIâm okay, I promise, just donât stop,â You pleaded, your heavy breaths tickling his lips as you spoke.
He nodded then brought his lips to yours, softly kissing you until he found a better angle to rock his hips into you. He rolled his hips against you at a steady and measured pace. Your high-pitched, yet quiet moans filled his room, competing with the low music playing from his stereo. Your hands journeyed to his chest, feeling the rhythm of his strokes as his body pressed into your palms.
A chorus of deep groans escaped from him as Eddie sped up, each moan was more desperate than the last as he lost himself in a haze of pure passion. He loved the view of your flushed cheeks and sweat-soaked body, Eddieâs hand trailed down your thigh and behind your knee. He halted for a moment to say
âIâm gonna try something, tell me if it hurts,â He pushed your leg up a bit higher, opening your hips up even more to him. He returned to his previous pacing, growling as he felt the new sensations.
You could only moan in response to just how good that angle felt.
"You like that, don't you, pretty girl?" He grinned down at you hungrily at the sight of you falling apart beneath him.
His body pressed closer in between your thighs as he pushed himself deeper. His breathing was coming in shorter gasps as the sensation pushed him closer and closer to the edge.
âI think Iâm gonna come again,â You admitted quietly, your nails digging into the soft flesh of his arms.
You were surprised you could get any words out of you. It was as if with every thrust, Eddie was forcing your eyes to roll to the back of your head in pleasure.
He couldn't restrain the growl that escaped from his lips as your nails dug into his skin. The sharp feeling of the sting combined with the sweet sound of your words were pushing him further to the edge, and he forced himself to pause for a moment to collect himself. "Do it. Come with me, sweetheart," he managed to get out between harsh pants.
You gasped and scrunched up your face as the next few strokes took you to your peak. A squeaky yelp escaped your mouth as you came. Your legs repeatedly smacked at his hip bones as you shuddered from your orgasm.
"I got you, baby. I got you, angel." Eddie gently whispered his sweet words of reassurance as he felt his own composure slipping. Seeing you come for the second time of the night was too much for him. He immediately had to bury his head in the crook of your neck, moaning desperately as the feeling of you clenching around him overwhelmed him. The sweet sound of your shaky breaths and the feeling of your muscles squeezing him was enough to send him toppling over the edge with you. He rocked his hips with a few more slow movements as he came, moaning a shaky breathless groan against your neck.
Once you came back down, you urgently ran your hands down Eddieâs face, picking it up to study his exhausted but content expression. âDid you, um-â You began to ask, but grew embarrassed by just the idea of the question.
After a few long moments to catch his breath, Eddie finally picked his head up to look at you. It took him a moment to even register your question. He gently wrapped his arms around your body to pull you into his chest.
He looked blissfully content as he laid on you, his hot breath coming out in ragged puffs. His face split into a wide smile when he heard the question you cut yourself off from asking, but his breath picked up and his cheeks flushed a little red as he realized what you were implying. "I did," he nodded, still smiling, "Do you want to see how much?"
âI donât know, is it gonna be gross?â You covered your mouth, stifling your laugh that threatened to be way too loud for your liking. You looked down at where your bodies connected, curiously.
Eddie let out a deep laugh. He slowly pulled himself out of you, his muscles relaxing as he took some of his weight off. He reached down between you and gently pulled off the spent condom, his eyebrows raising as he examined it with a small smile on his face.
âIs that usually how much comes out?â You asked with a slight amused expression as you propped yourself up on your elbows. Seeing the evidence further made you satisfied that you finally got to experience this with him.
Eddie's cheeks flushed a bright red as you questioned him on it and he quickly looked away as he tied the condom off. "Jesus Christ, we don't have to talk about this," he mumbled, his voice cracking as he tried to keep himself from laughing. "The answer is yes, it's how much comes out," he admitted reluctantly.
âYouâre the one who offered, you weirdo!â You gave him a swift, light kick to his butt as he got off the bed, before laughing and rolling over to your stomach.
Eddie dramatically groaned as you hit him. His act didn't last for more than a few seconds before he melted back to his affectionate state. He grabbed a t-shirt from the corner of the room to wipe himself off before turning back to you and gently throwing it at your head.
âEddie!â You screamed.

The Necessity of Old-School Dating
â A relationship should start with flowers and a proper confession.
A/N: I just finished x-men 97 and my crush on Kurt when I was like 15 came back in full force. Like, you cannot tell me this man would not go to lengths trying to charm you.
Pairing: Kurt Wagner x reader
Warning: (1) German pet name in the feminine form that hopefully will not ruin this for any German speakers
Word count: ~1.5k
When Kurt Wagner was in love with you, the entire world would know.
He had a lot of love to give, knocking people off their feet (quite literally) when he made his sudden appearances and tackled his friends with full-body hugs. But with you, he was always more careful. While he made no hesitation in finding his way to you in a puff of purple smoke the second he saw you, he always landed just a step away from you.
He grinned ear to ear, glowing eyes curled into thin moons just at the sight of you. His body leaned towards you slightly, aching to be close to you but restraining himself until you reached out for him first. The heat radiating off his body tempted you to close your eyes and allow your mind to sink into his embrace when he immediately pulled you in after getting the go-ahead.
âIt is good to see you.â His voice was soft in your ear, the vibrations from his chest seeping into your skin.
He made sure to tell you that every time, even though he must be aware that you already knew how often he told you that. But to him, it was important that you hear it from him.
Kurt never pulls away until you do and the lingering of his touch on your back when he does always leaves your skin tingling.
A true gentleman but with a tricksterâs spirit nonetheless. Your back bumped into his anticipating tail, respectfully curved around your form. You gasped when it presented you with a bunch of flowers that he seemingly pulled out of nowhere, the end of his tail holding at the stems.
âOh, you really shouldnât have,â you sheepishly said, âtoday is not even anything special!â
âI like that they make you happy,â he mused, his gaze so soft that it made your face burn, âis that not enough of a reason?â
âThey make me very happy,â you smiled and took the bouquet, his tail gently recoiling from behind you to sit neatly against its owner. You pressed the flowers against your chest, the faint scent of petals tucking at your senses, âThank you, Kurt.â
You did not remember a moment when your room was void of flowers since the very first time he ever gave you any (in fact, you did not even have a vase before that and now it was reserved specifically for flowers he brought you). Some days it was a properly wrapped bouquet, some times it seemed he just saw a daisy on his way and plucked it when he thought of you.
It was a fluttering feeling to be treated special, to have someone show you that you were always on their mind. As much as it was a sweet gesture, it sure was a smart one too. Flowers sitting at the corner of your room reminded you of him whenever your gaze flickered towards them, and it brought a smile to your face whether you intended to or not.
("That brother of mine sure got you smitten for him, doesn't he?"
The sugar-sweet voice broke you out of your trance and you subconsciously stopped toying with the daffodil you had been twirling between your fingers. "I have no idea what you are talking about," you quipped, avoiding Anna-Marie's amused stare.
"Why, is that so?" she crossed her arms in front of her chest in fake thoughtfulness before it broke into a smirk, "Then care to explain what is so special about some little flower that it got you smiling like a fool?"
Your eyes went wide, the smile on your face that you weren't even aware was there dropping in an instant as the realisation hit you in full force.
"Sugar," she said, a loop-sided grin tucked at the corner of her lips, "I know the look of someone in love when I see one.")
They said that if their heart was in the right place then you would never doubt, and he made sure that his intentions were clear from the very moment you caught his eye.
He remembered things you said in passing, asked you to go out for dinners and subtly took note of items your eyes lingered on when you passed by store windows even before there was a proper label to your connection.
Kurt always managed to find excuses to take the long route when he walked with you back to the school. Sure, he could, and usually would, skip the unnecessary process of walking. But the minutes that were saved would be a waste of precious time he could spend with you.
The world was quiet and all was good in these rare moments when you were alone, talking about nothing and everything and all that fell between. He fell a little bit more in love every time you laughed as if his heart was not already threatening to burst out of his chest. He preened in moments like this, standing a little taller and a little closer to you until your shoulders nearly bumped with each slow stride.
And if the knuckle of your fingers happened to brush against his, then he would allow himself to be a bit bold under the disguise of the starry sky to hold your hand.
Kurt was a true believer in the importance of proper courting, putting in the effort and letting the effort be felt. But as much as he enjoyed the tip-toeing and the words that were left unsaid, there came moments when the passion was too much to bear.
It was a night much like any other. You had thought that things were going well, there was laughter and he was being his usual charming self until the two of you started heading back. Under the silver moonlight, he was... quiet. Your gaze flickered towards him in concern but seemingly, he was too deep in his thoughts to notice.
So instead of speaking, you reached for his hand and his walls came crumbling down.
"I wanted to take things slow so that you could consider if my affections, myâ my love is worthy for you." He blurted out, accent thicker than usual in a moment of vulnerability. "But recently, I have been plagued by my own selfishness, that the more you have allowed me in your life, the more I crave to have you all to myself."
"Ah, entschuldige, I am rambling," he muttered under his breath, his voice trembling and guiding your hand so that he faced you properly. You reached out to hold his face and he leaned into the touch, sighing in content at the contact and all the more certain that close could never be close enough when it came to you.
"I like to think that any relationship, any romance, should start with flowers and a proper confession, and you deserve nothing less." he paused, his hand reaching up to hold yours firmly. "My heart is in your hands, mein liebe."
Time stopped, and all was still.
The thudding of your heart was the only thing in your ear as he waited for your answer with bated breath.
The first touch was so light he could barely feel it. Your body reacted before your mind could keep up and at the first brush of your cupid's bow against his lips, perhaps the bravest thing you had ever done even though you had been on literal battlefields, your reason immediately got ahold of the better of you. But before you could start to pull away, doubt and logic melted into a puddle when he crashed into you, strong arms holding you firmly as he returned the kiss with one much deeper than the one before.
He kissed you again, and again, getting light-headed when you pressed your palm flat against his chest and kissed him back every single time.
You gasped when you suddenly felt the ground disappearing from under your feet, purple smoke blurring your vision and your feet stumbling when gravity weighted you down once more. Kurt didn't seem to notice it at all, too drunk in having your body flushed against his.
Bamf, bamf, bamf. You nearly stumbled when you landed one last time, his hand finding its way to hold you by the small of your back before you could fall.
He was out of breath and if you could see under the blue fur of his cheeks you were sure he must be blushing like mad. Still heaving, he pressed his forehead against yours.
"Forgive me, I lost control of myself," he closed his eyes, the tip of his nose touching yours, "you have no idea how happy you make me."
Wrapping your arms around his neck, you decided that a proper confession deserved a proper answer.
"I love you," you said, "it would be a blessing to call you mine."
He chuckled before leaning in once more, this time soft and tender.
"And me, yours."

003. CARNATIONS
Shoto is a lot like Touya.
He's currently reading over his older brothers progress report quietly. Shoto was barely seventeen, but he was incredibly mature for his age. Out of all the Todoroki, no one was more dedicated to Touya's recovery than his youngest brother.
Shoto doesn't talk much. You would soon learn it's not because he was shy or anything, he was just a naturally quiet person. Meeting him in person for the first time surprised you a bit. He would write to you oftenâtelling you all he remembered about his big brother and details from the war.
The villain 'Dabi' used to be all over the news. You remember his early days in the League, where he'd first made his big debut. You'd be studying in your dorm, the small TV playing recent events and information on the League of Villains. Their pictures would be plastered everywhere as the most wanted villains in all of Japan.
He was made out as a person to fearâthe whole group was. His name was dragged through the mud online, and his persona to the world was one of a merciless killer who had no heart.
If only you knew he'd become someone you'd grow to know.
"I'm glad you're his doctor, Miss L/n."
You glance up at Shoto, snapping out of the daze you were in as you send him a surprised smile
Shoto and Touya's features are so similar. Both of them have the same, soft curl of their lips when they're trying to smile, something they obviously don't do often. Their noses are alike tooâyou can see the small pieces of them in each other. If you could point out the similarities between them even when most of Touya's skin was covered with bandages, you thought about how much more alike they'd look after Touya was healed completely.
He talks fondly about his brother, even after all he went throughâShoto doesn't show even a hint of anger towards Touya.
"When can I meet him?"
Shoto's smile is a small one, but the gleam of unwavering hope in his eyes is heartwarming to see. He truly loved Touya.
"We're nearing the end of his first month here. So I'd like to say soon! His communication skills with me show that he's able to hold conversations and express his emotions to a certain degree. But I'd like to give him a little more time, Shoto. What he went through was years of mental and physical strain. I want him to be comfortable with the idea of seeing you again. Do you think you can hold out a little longer for me?" You ask gently, and Shoto blinks in response before slowly nodding his head
"Of course. I... that was wrong of me to ask so early. I don't think he'd like to see me, anyways." He says with a bittersweet smile. His tone held no resentment, and you reach forward to hold his hand. His fingers fit snug in yours, and after a momentâhe gives your hand a thankful squeeze.
It looked like Shoto and Touya's relationship would be one of the many things you would help mend.
Shoto left after half an hour, his heart feeling lighter than when he first came.
You were exactly what Touya deserved.
You were slowly learning that Touya had a lot of odd mannerisms. With spending so much of your time with him, it would only make sense that you would pick up on them eventually.
For instance, Touya didn't care for much spicy food. He'd always make a face when you fed him something on the hotter side, begrudgingly swallowing down the food as he complained about the aftertaste it left in his mouth.
You twirl the chopsticks through his noodles idly while carefully leaning over his bandaged arms to feed him his Sobaâa meal Shoto had told you about when he wrote to you about his older brother. You still remember the glimmer of surprise in Touya's eyes at the sight of what seemed to be a nostalgic meal for him.
He almost looks embarrassed by the fact that you're feeding him as he opens his mouth for youâquickly chomping down on the soft noodles as he chews slowly, watching you with narrowed eyes. It's hard not to laugh as he squints at you, the soft pale skin around his eyes crinkled even further when he spotted your small smile.
He doesn't comment on it, resorting to flicking through the few channels he was allowed to watch on the TV. His arm was draped over the side of his bed, his bandaged fingers grazing your knee every now and then from where you sat in the seat right beside his bed. He never moved his hand away when the pads of his fingertips touched youâsometimes it seemed like he was purposely trying to poke you, but you brushed away the prospect.
"Do you like the food, Touya? It smells really good!"
He meets your gaze with a soft grunt, stretching out his legs in front of him as he nods his head.
"It's fine. Better than the shit I ate before all this." He says, waving his hand around the hospital room as you slowly nod your head
"Really? How so? What did you eat before?"
He shrugs, and the fact that he doesn't really care about his once poor diet must be what makes you tap your foot nervously against the tiled floor beneath you. His transcript said he'd been missing since he was 13. Had he really been living so carelessly and alone since then?
Touya had gone through the most important development years of his life all by himself while being unable to control his quirk. You remember the day they first brought him in after the war, the pictures before his surgery were so heartbreaking to see when you were first handed his file. But doctors were miracle workers, and you were all trying to help him in different ways
The price for Touya's recovery was not small.
"Well, now you're going to be eating all sorts of delicious and healthy foods! Fresh vegetables and fruits with big meals that'll fill your stomach. What we eat is really important, and you certainly need the energy from the nutrients!"
He rolls his eyes as he chews, but nods nonetheless. As you go to feed him another bite of his Soba, his nose scrunches up a bit as he leans back in his bed
"Does that bite have a piece of broccoli in it?"
"Touya."
You managed to feed him the rest of his meal before getting him a change of clothes. A simple black lounge set that would be comfortable for him to walk outside in.
Today, you were going to bring him to one of your favorite places in the hospital.
He peers around the recreational garden curiously, as if he was scoping out the area for any threats. Touya's eyes are attentive and careful as he keeps an eye out on the other patientsâwho were simply minding their own business. This however, did not mean they were saved from Touya's menacing glares.
He walked beside you, and you had to put some distance between you and him so you didn't have to feel him towering over you as you both walked. You remain a pace ahead and you turn back to him with a soft smile that quickly captures his attention.
"You and I will have weekly walks here. The gardens are so beautiful Touyaâthis environment is great for your mind. It allows you to relax. The other patients here are lovely, all right? They won't bother you." You say softly, and he nods his head as he finally averts his gaze from everyone else to look solely at you. Quickly, you begin walking again as you lead him down the various paths in the garden
"You're free to come here whenever you'd like! You don't really have a curfew because, well, you're not leaving the facility. But it would be ideal if you come back in time for dinner! I'm free if you ever need someone to talk to or walk with." You remind him gently, and Touya wants to nod his head and say something along the lines of 'okay, thank you' or anything decent, but he finds the words stuck in his throat.
What would the people from his past say if they saw him now? He was such a big talker. He still was, but here in your presenceâhe found himself almost shying away. It was embarrassing. He shouldn't be thinking so hard on how to say thank you for something so simple and stupid that left your sweet lips. Was he really that messed up? Can he not even say thank you?
You tilt your head at him with a small smile, and he's almost annoyed with how well you're able to read him. It seems like you know exactly what he's thinking whenever you look at himâsure, that was kind of your job. But it felt different for Touya, more personal.
"Thanks. I guess." He mutters, leaning against the brick wall behind him as he peers around the garden, taking in the scenery and stone arches that were made throughout the entirety of it - flowers and vines crawling up their sides as they bathed in the warm sunlight.
You spend the rest of the evening telling him all about the history of the hospitalâabout the founder, an honorable man, and all the people who helped make it. It was a place for new beginnings. And when you said that, you see a bit of the tension release from Touya's usually clenched fists. By the end of your walk with him, his fists had uncurled completely as they laid relaxed at his sides.
Touya didn't ever seem to notice when he was invading your personal space. There were a few times where you got lost in speaking, and it always made your heart rate spike when you turned around to ask him a question or just to check how he's faring and he'd be standing right there beside you. Barely a step away from having his breath tickle your skin. But the moment you moved even an inch closer to him, it was like he suddenly became hyper-aware of his surroundings.
He didn't really know why he was so against touching people. Maybe it was because he hadn't received a lick of affection since he was a kidâand even then, his life was so messed up that he can't even remember liking the tenderness of a hug or a kiss from a loved one.
Now that he thinks about it, he's never really had anyone to touch.
So when he's lowering himself onto the hospital bed with a tired sigh at night, he freezes when he feels your soft hand pressing itself onto his upper arm.
"Let me helpâ"
"Don't touch me."
He wants to take the words back the moment the words leave his mouth. But even then, he quickly slips out of your grasp and sits on the edge of the bed. He's laying down and peering up at the ceiling with a grimace. Ashamed.
Please don't hate me, are the first words that come to his mind when he squeezes his eyes shut. He'd understand, is what he tells himselfâif you walked out and left him right then and there. He must be becoming such a burden, such a pain for youâ
Touya feels a soft blanket being thrown over his long frame, the fabric quickly covering him as you peer over the bed and hover over him. His breath hitches in his throat as you do, mainly at the sight of you peering down at him so nicely. It makes his chest feel unbearably tight.
"Goodnight, Touya."
You're met with silence. You turn his lamp off, and he lays quietly as he watches you pack up your things. Clipboards and pens and cards from a small game you two had played after breakfast all go into your bag. The moonlight streaming through the window is the only form of light he needs to see that you're not angry with him. Your eyes don't look madâyou look perfectly content as you pack your bag as you routinely do.
You sling your bag over your shoulder once you're all packed, leaving the room as quietly as you did when you had entered the same morning. He doesn't know how long he stays awake, but he stares at the glow in the dark stars plastered on his ceiling until he can see them even after he closes his eyes.
It was going to be another long, sleepless night for him.

HEYYY IIDK IFHOU TAKE REQUEST BUTTTT HOW WOULD THE HASHIRA REACT TO A HYPER ENERGETIC READER WHO IS ONE SECOND DOING 1 THINK THEN THE NEXT A NEW THING LIKE THEY COULD BE PAINTING AND THE NEXT SKY DIVING
I love your writing style hehe
Male pillars x Reader - the art of being too energetic
author's note: i hope this request is to your liking. truthfully, i had trouble writing it at some points.
pairing: Tengen x reader, Obanai x reader, Rengoku x reader, Sanemi x reader, Giyuu x reader, Gyomei x reader
content warning: none
Tengen:
where were you now? he swore you had been standing next to him a few moments ago. he looked around the streets, trying to spot you.
did you see a demon and moved forward without him? no, he would've heard it. he looked around the dark streets, not taking long to figure out where you went.
his feet dragged him towards the festival down the street. the area was filled with lamps and people wearing the prettiest kimonos or yukatas.
yet none of them stole his attention away from what mattered. you. you were in the middle of the crowd of dancing people. you spun around in fluid motions, a smile plastered on your face.
if it hadn't been for your uniform, you would've fitted right in. he moved forward without thinking, his hand soon grasping yours.
"now what were you thinking? we've been walking through the empty streets just a few seconds ago!" he said, his lips tugging up into a smile.
"couldn't resist, the music drew me in!" you laughed, twirling around him. he followed, both of you now dancing in sync. you didn't care for the eyes staring at the two of you. "are you mad?"
"you're too flamboyant to be mad at."
Obanai:
Obanai had been sitting on a tree, lazily watching you train. he didn't have anything better to do and you enjoyed his presence. however, when he looked down, you weren't training next to his tree anymore.
he looked to the side, flinching when you sat right next to him. "[name]!" he called out, looking at you surpised. he gave you a questioning look, waiting for your explanation.
"i found this." you answered, showing him a small acorn - or rather the rest of it. he looked at the cupule, you held it up by it's stem.
"and..?" he asked, still confused. it wasn't surprising to see you change your mood so quickly, but he found himself confused every time. especially now when you looked at Kaburamaru.
"and this!" you said, offering the snake to slither onto your arm. Kaburamu listened and Obanai watched in anticipation. the snake trusted you, just like Obanai did.
the cupule you held in hand was carefully placed on Kaburamaru's head, slowly pulling away to not knock it down. you blinked a few times and then looked at Obanai.
"it's a little hat! what do ya think?" you asked enthusiastically.
Obanai's eyes wandered between you and Kaburamaru, then back at you. "it's great. you should find him a scarf too."
"you're right!"
Rengoku:
"little flame? darling?!" he called out your name, desperately trying to find you. he had been sitting in the living room when he noticed the odd smell of smoke.
he had been worried sick, trying to find the source. his eyes widened upon seeing the clouds of smoke leaving your shared kitchen. however, when he ran inside, he was even more confused.
"darling..?" he asked, tilting his head to the side to get a better look at you. he could barely see it through all the fug, but he figured you were standing next to the stove.
when he came closer, he saw you more clearly - you were holding a bucket in your hand. his eyes fixed on the stove, hearing it sizzle quietly. it was wet and still slightly hot. he couldn't make out what had been in the pan, but it was burnt now.
"oh, Kyojuro!" you gasped, looking at the man. you hadn't heard him before. your eyes followed his gaze, your face growing red when you looked at the stove.
"i wanted to cook something, but then i remembered this book from a few years ago. i'm sure i had it somewhere around-" you babbled, stopping when you looked at him again.
you had expected him to be mad for nearly burning the whole house down, but he didn't look angry in the slightest. he took the bucket out of your hands instead, placing it to the side.
"let's clean this up first, we can search for the book later." he simply said, his motivated stance not leaving. you agreed, cleaning the kitchen together.
you only stopped when he suddenly spoke again, leaving you baffled.
"you know, i once burned my family's house down when i was smaller."
Sanemi:
Sanemi looked at you, your eyes staring back into his. his gaze hardened, daring you to move further.
"don't do it." he grumbled, his hands ready to grab you in an instant. if someone would've walked into the room, they would've surely questioned your sanity.
"i'm going to do it." you answered, giving him a mischevious smirk. his eyes narrowed, his body tensing up.
you had found a new hobby a few days ago, which happened to involve him. now he gave you his undivided attention when you were acting strange or gave him a knowing look.
in the blink of an eye you turned around and jumped backwards, Sanemi reacting immediately. he made sure to catch you in his arms, stopping you from falling and hitting the ground.
he let out an annoyed sigh, having caught you. again. he didn't even remember how many times it had been this week. "stop doing that!"
"you know you love it" you chirped, giving him a triumphing smile. he rolled his eyes, letting go of you.
but you were right, he did love it.
Giyuu:
"i want wagashi." you said, tugging at Giyuu's sleeve. normally, your request would've been completely fine, but now he was looking at you in disbelief.
"what?" he asked, stopping in his tracks. you came to a halt next to him, repeating what you've just said. "i want to eat wagashi."
he was at a loss of words. you had asked for daifuku nearly ten minutes ago. he had been walking to your favourite shop with you since then, knowing it would make you the happiest.
"we would have to walk in the opposite direction." he remarked, giving you a questioning stare. you blinked at him a few times, as if you were waiting for his answer.
he would've said no to anyone else, but he was used to your impulsive behavior. he couldn't explain why you made decision the way you did, but he thought of it as refreshing. he sighed, turning around on his feet.
"let's buy you some wagashi."
Gyomei:
"can i move now?" he asked. he had been sitting under the waterfall for about thirty minutes now. you had asked him to paint a picture of the moment, which he found himself agreeing to.
however, he hadn't heard anything from you since over fifteen minutes, making him question what was going on. the cold water of the waterfall hitting his back overshadowed most of the other sounds around him, but he managed to hear you stand up.
"Gyomei, i'm so sorry!" you apologized profusely, running towards the waterfall. he heard the splashs over your body pushing the water around you away, eventually feeling your hand pull on his.
"i completely forget about the painting. there was a cat and-" you stopped when you felt his head turn towards yours. you looked at him, wondering what could've made him forget about your mistake.
"a cat?" he asked, feeling you change the direction you were pulling him. it wasn't your strength to keep attention on one thing, but he couldn't care less.
besides, he shared your fascination over cats.

A Feline Distraction
You head over to one of Sylus' villas in the suburbs only to find him... being yelled at by a cat?
In which Sylus got chosen by the cat distribution system.
Sylus x !femMC
Fluff, domestic fluff, a cat
-0-
You really didn't know why you came by so early.
When Sylus sent you the invitation to come to one of his villas - the same one where you sought out shelter from the rain that one time you had a mission in the suburbs - he didn't set any time, just the open message that he will be there and he does not have any work that day.
Which was his way of telling you that yes, he was aware that it is your day off and he wanted to spend the day with you. The invitation sounded innocent enough, if the man that you were thinking about wasn't Sylus. You knew very well that if you didn't go, he'd have gone to your apartment instead whether you liked it or not, and considering that Xavier just came back from one of his long missions - it might just be best if you indulged the man.
And besides, it wasn't like it was going to be unpleasant. It's a nice day out and you remember that house having a pool and a lovely garden. Maybe you could convince him to take a dip with you, clothes being optional.
And Sylus - well, it's been a few weeks since the two of you spent some time together and you do admit that you've missed the man. Besides his seemingly gruff persona, he's pleasant company to be around with (and you definitely didn't miss the way he would hold you, just keep you in his arms whenever the two of you were together. Definitely not).
So there you were, pushing through the gates of the villa while the early morning sun shone bright overhead, admiring the way the blossoms of the nearby flower bushes were blooming as the sunlight dappled through the trees.
You looked up, your lips curling into a smile when you saw him by the rose bushes, standing tall and proud with his arms folded over his chest, his face contorted into a frown -
Hm, what?
You stopped, blinked as you watched Sylus stand there beneath the shade of the nearby trees, long fingers pinching the bridge of his nose as a kitten was trying - and failing - to climb his pants leg while an open can of tuna lay undisturbed by his feet on the cobblestone walkway.
It was a pretty little thing. White, wispy fur with a cute dark spot at the top of its head covered a tiny little baby about the size of your hand. It couldn't have been more than a few weeks old, maybe a month, by your estimate.
It was stubborn though, judging from the way it kept climbing Sylus' pant no matter how much it fell, and the loud shrills of its mews was very present in that lovely morning as it desperately demanded the man's attention.
"Sy." You smiled when he looked up, those ruby, ruby eyes that were swirling with frustration mere moments ago shifted, warmth blooming into them when his gaze landed on you. He didn't move to meet you as he decided to stand his ground as his leg kept getting barraged by one tiny cat, although his arm outstretched to grasp you the moment you were within his reach.
"Hi," he murmured into your hair, twirling a lock of it between his long fingers as he pressed you to his body, careful to not agitate the still climbing kitten.
"Who's this?" you asked as you looked down at the little rascal, now chirping at the both of you. It's gotten up to his waist now, claws fully dug into the leather of his belt.
Sylus sighed, and you could see his attempt to dig for patience. "She's been trying to climb me for the past half hour now," he grumbled, his fingers tapping into the length of your back. "Like a certain kitten that's insistent on her bedtime schedule."
You laughed, brightening his day almost immediately, as you leant slightly to cup the kitten within your hand. It didn't make a fuss, but it now directed it's insistent mewing at you.
"Aren't you a pretty baby?" It wasn't lost on you the way Sylus' eyes softened as you cooed, his head tilting to the side as he shifted his bodyweight to his other foot. You bent down to the ground to where the tuna was, nudging the baby so it could eat.
Before it immediately jumped back to climb Sylus' leg.
He turned towards you.
"Do you see the problem now?"
You inhaled from your nose sharply, his eyes narrowing when he saw you struggling to keep your composure. "Wow," you exhaled as you hid your smile with the back of your hand. "Such a problem, indeed."
He clicked his tongue before drilling a finger into your side, which resulted in you being unable to hide your glee of the situation anymore as you doubled over in delight.
So hilarious was your partner's plight that you just had to lean up, used his wide shoulders as support as you stood on the tips of your toes, to give him a noisy kiss on his jaw.
The kitten mewed between you.
"Yes, yes," you chided, picking the baby back up and holding her up to his eye level. "She wants you."
"Doesn't everyone?"
"The cops certainly do."
He snorted, once again folding his arms over his massive chest as stared at the cat in your hands. It took him a few moments, but you've spent enough time with him to know that there were hundreds of thoughts circulating in that man's head as he tried to figure out the best course of action.
Yet, he sighed in defeat.
"Come here." The kitten was dwarfed within his hands, her big eyes impossibly bright as he turned her over to be cradled in his arms. The incessant mewing stopped and was already replaced by purring that could rival his motorcycle engine.
You were ecstatic.
Now within the confines of the house, the kitten went absolutely feral over the tuna that it ignored for over half an hour, making a mess of its tiny face and his marble countertops.
"What are you naming her?" you asked, your fingers gently petting the top of the cat's head.
It wasn't often that you saw Sylus to look so affronted, but to see him like that over a cat was a hilarious experience.
"I'm not keeping it."
"Why not?"
He looked at you, one wonderfully sculpted brow arched at your direction. "Do you really expect me to keep a cat?"
You raised a brow in turn. "You have Mephisto."
"Sweetie," he said, digging for patience from his already lowered supply. "He's a mechanical bird."
"His battery died once in the middle of watching me and you freaked out and came to get him yourself."
"He's my eyes on you," he insisted. "I needed him fixed immediately."
Your brow stayed lifted. "I still have video of you cradling him like a baby," you said evenly. "Or did you forget that ever happened?"
He lifted a shoulder, shrugged. "I'm merely protective of what's mine."
"Great," you said as you clasped his hand, pumped it once. "You'd do great with Sofia."
"Excuse me."
"Nice dealing with you, love." Mirth flashed in your eyes as your lips quirked with laughter.
He tugged your hand, pulled you towards his chest. Frustration mixed with amusement danced in his eyes as he leaned down and nipped your lower lip. "If that's how you proceed with negotiations, I'm going to have to sit you down for lessons."
"If it works, it works." You kissed his throat, hummed, rocked him as you stood. "I'm gonna go for a swim. Make sure you get the tuna off her face." And with a slight push, you were off him, making your merry way to the pool.
"What am I going to do with the both of you?"
You laughed, and the last thing you saw was him standing, both hands on his hips as he watched the cat.
-0-
It didn't take long for the photos to come.
Sylus wasn't averse to taking photos, certainly when it came to you considering the last time you checked his phone there were hundreds of pictures of just you.
He sent you several pictures of little Sofia with the excuse of giving you "updates" but you know full well he was as smitten with the cat as you were.
It's hilarious, really. He was a terrifying man. The mere mention of his name could make even the hardened of space criminals second thoughts. You've seen this man in combat, and even utilized his skills to aid you with your work. To the common folk, Sylus was the boogeyman that wasn't meant to be messed with lest you wanted to die.
Cats adored him.
Or at least curious about him, even with the smarmy look he always has on his damned beautiful face. Since the very first time you've met him, he'd be sending you a photo or two of random cat interactions, most of which he never invited to happen.
You remembered that one time he sent you a photo of one of his sitting rooms and asked you to find a black kitten that managed to get into his manor without anyone knowing. You had to come over and help him scour for hours because, as you found out, finding a black kitten in a room with dark furniture was nearly impossible.
And there was that other time, in the same villa where you found him being scaled by little Sofia, you two had quite a close encounter with another kitten that was stuck in his basement.
Many dates, many vacations, and you could always recall him being stopped by at least one cat and the occasional bird along the way. It was adorable, and the fact that he didn't quite agree with your assessment made it even more so. So you weren't that surprised to find him being hounded by a one month old kitten.
It became part of your morning routine. Beginning the day with cat photos was certainly a strong starting point, elevating your mood considerably. Practiced and posed, elegant photos of a quickly growing kitten graced your eyes, preparing you for a day filled with Wanderers, no doubt.
But Sylus' texts weren't the only ones you look forward to.
The moment Sylus stepped foot inside the manor in the N109 Zone, Luke and Kieran immediately added you to a group chat where they sent you all the other... media that your partner vehemently refused to send you.
The first stream of texts were several photos and videos of Sylus using his evol to help him bathe the kitten, with the front of his shirt and his hair already soaked.
And another one, a few days later which you assumed was taken from outside his bedroom window, of Sylus with his eyes closed, fingers digging deep into his biceps as Sofia and Mephisto were seemingly having an intense argument (the last photo in that set was Sylus directly looking at the window while streaks of red and black were lashing alarmingly close to the camera).
Many more photos of Sylus asleep either on his office or living room couch, fast asleep in the way you know he liked, with a cat sprawled directly on his stomach happily dozing the day away.
Kieran sent a photo of Sofia wearing a frilled collar decked out with sparkling rubies. The caption read: this cost more than six months of my salary (ÂŹ_ÂŹ")
You stifled a laugh, sending a quick reply before Captain Jenna caught you using your phone in the middle of your work hours.
You mean your allowance?
We don't get an allowance!, came the indignant reply seconds later. You get an allowance.
You grinned before sending him a crow emoji.
Your favorite one, however, was of Sylus frowning over what Luke said to be a legal document, the insult of having to read such a mediocre piece of legality plastered openly on his face all the while having a fluffy cat laying belly down on top of his snowy hair. It quickly became your phone wallpaper.
Mm. It has been a week since you last visited, and Jenna has been not so subtly pestering you to take some leave (it wasn't your fault you were a workaholic, but Jenna didn't want to hear it).
So that was that.
-0-
The sun was setting when you reached the manor, a large bag of groceries in one hand and a parcel on the other. The twins made quick work with the groceries the moment you stepped in, most likely because they knew you bought that new candy bar from Linkon City that they've been raving about for weeks.
You tried to not be too loud, as you knew Sylus would be asleep during this time of day. Soft footsteps padded on the polished hardwood floor
You remembered the first time you were given free reign to explore the manor, the amount of times you got lost amongst its many rooms, its many corridors. It used to feel so cold to you, so vast and cavernous even with the plush furniture and expensive art. No matter how many hours you've spent in front of one of the fireplaces in the many sitting rooms, no matter how many plushies you added to the bedroom he designated for you, no matter how many times you tried to make it feel like home.
It wasn't until that one night, more than a year ago now, that you felt the frost slowly dissipating. It wasn't anything special, just the two of you in the kitchen, trying to figure out what to make for dinner as the chef called in sick.
You didn't figure him being the type to know how to cook, seeing as he commanded his own business empire, but he was more than adequate. Still, you weren't about to let him do all the work. You were eating, too.
It was a mess, mostly because you two kept bickering about the recipe - with you being too stubborn to yield and him thoroughly enjoying the look of competitive frustration on your face. It wasn't fair that his reach was longer than yours, and even with your training, you couldn't take the recipe book that he held up in the air.
Cursing your hunter's training for a lack of a decent vertical jump, you landed a little bit wrong, a little to farther back than you anticipated. You remembered the surprised look on both of your faces and the sudden swishes of the black and red of his evol. A lot of cursing, a lot of pulling, and suddenly both you and him were on the floor covered in flour.
You barely registered the snickers of two voices by the doorway, didn't register the clicks and shutters of multiple photos being taken, and definitely didn't register immediately that you were on him, straddling him as the bag of flour rested on the top of your head (and yes, you still do remember the way his large hands rested protectively on your hips, which explained why you were on his lap rather than having a broken tailbone with an impact with the floor).
You two dusted yourself quickly, still bickering but with less heat, you decided to just order pizza all the while the two of you trailed flour on the floor.
It's a nice memory, one that you've come back to whenever you arrive here. And you were sure Sylus thought of it often too, considering the fact that he gives you a teasing look whenever you were in proximity of a bag of flour.
You basked in that warmth as you threaded the corridors, taking your time to get to the west wing to get to his bedroom. Opening the door as quietly as you can, you peeked it, smiled when you were met with a small mew.
Sofia laid at the foot of the bed, her tiny head raised in greeting. You shuffled in, careful to not make any noise. The parcel you carried was placed on the sofa as you secured the curtains, knowing full well that Sylus would be annoyed to wake up to open curtains.
You turned, smiled as you watched your partner just doze on the massive bed, hair mussed and squished to one side. Gone was the look of tension that he often had, the stress he carried momentarily held at bay. Taking off your coat, you moved to the bed, careful to not nudge too hard.
With one hand you patted the tiny cat's head just before you crawled beneath the covers, sighing when a strong arm reached out to wrap around your waist.
You let yourself get pulled into his warmth, get pulled into the safe and comfortable. With the utmost tenderness, you placed soft kisses on his bare chest, on his neck before nuzzling in.
It was still pretty early, you thought as the sleep was slowly overtaking you. A few hours wouldn't hurt. So long as it was with him.
Sylus woke an hour later, ruby eyes still bleary, and yet he was pleased to find himself being sandwiched by the two kittens in his life. He smiled that rare smile that was only reserved for you and sighed.
Maybe keeping the cat was a boon after all.

CALL OF THE SEA / PART FIFTEEN
pirate poly!141 x f!reader tw: NSFW, MDNI, hallucainations/hearing voices??, inaccurate depictions of medicine, idk how ppl made medicines in 1800s but idc its fiction masterlist a/n: thank u for the love from the hurricane i went thru!! i'm okay and back in business, i love u guys <3 things are gonna get a lil spicyyy
When a group of unhinged pirates invade your small village, you're whisked away from your peaceful home and thrown on to a voyage out at sea. Forced to obtain a new role as their medic, you have no choice but to accept your fate as you join their forces and aid them in their treacherous travels.
âDove,â a voice singsonged, a whisper in the wind that whisked away almost as soon as it appeared.
You halted in your steps, whipping your head around. Standing on the deck, you knew you were alone. You had just been on your way to collect your variety of herbs and powders to teach the Captain of medicine making, yet the sense of dread overtook you the moment you heard your name called out.
Looking out into the vast sea, there was nothing. A heavy mist clouded the air from the storm that was brewing mere lengths away, its arrival unknown. It clouded over the horizon, hiding away what lay beyond in the dull, gray atmosphere.
Yet, Graves had spoken yet again, as if he had sent his voice to travel miles upon miles just to get a rile out of you. It felt like a warning, letting you know he was still present, and very much still attached.
âThe one who heals the ill and poor,â Graves echoed tauntingly, a dark chuckle rasping at the end of his words. âThe one who has the 141 in knots. Thatâs you, isnât it, dove?â
You couldnât see him, and you werenât sure whether that was ideal or not. You knew he wasnât there physically, hell, you werenât sure it was even really him talking. Your mind could be playing tricks on you.
The words of the prophecy were spoken with such mockery, the ones referring to your very role. The venom in his tone made you queasy. A cold chill dripped down your spine, causing the hairs on your neck to stand.
âOh, this will be fun,â he cooed. âIâll be seeing you.â
Stood frozen in place, you couldnât tear your eyes away from the horizon. It was gloomy, and you were beginning to mirror that feeling. You felt toyed with â like a puppet on a shelf, waiting to be used when Graves deemed you useful.
âWhat are ye doinâ down there, dove?â a voice called. âLooks like ye seen a ghost.â
The faint snickering had you tilting your head up in the direction it came from. Soap sat high up in the crowâs nest, peering down at you mischievously. His broad arms rested on the rim of the nest, leaning lazily.
âI am fine,â you scowled, quickly regaining your composure. Graves crept menacingly in the corners of your mind. âWhat are you doing up there?â
âSheâs a crowâs nest for a reason. Iâm watchinâ for the storm, seeinâ if I can spot anythinâ out of the ordinary like Iâm a bird, birdieâ Soap explained with a grin, cocking his head. âWhat are ye doinâ down there?â
You frowned at him, unamused. âI plan on teaching the Captain how to make medicine,â you replied. âIâm just going to collect my things. It is wealthy to have knowledge in medicines, you know.â
Soap blew out a puff of air, waving his hand dismissively. âIf I have any more knowledge up in this nogginâ of mine, it might explode.â He made a point of knocking his knuckles against his head.
âI do not believe there is much in there at all,â you sighed, unable to force a small smile away. Even in times of fear and uncertainty, you couldnât deny the way Soap put you at ease.
âAch, yer a bird that bites. What happened to beinâ a sweet bird?â he mumbled in feigned hurt, lips puckered into a pouted frown.
Your smile grew and you shook your head. âWhere is Ghost?â you asked. Soap rubbed the back of his neck, fingers twirling into his messy mullet.
âThat lad. Locked himself up again, he did. I think the weatherâs makinâ him all moody. He helped me out for a bit before goinâ back, so Iâm not sure whatâs wrong,â he explained sympathetically. There was a hint of hurt at being shut out.
It made you recall the two of them. Embracing. Whispering amongst each other. Ghost, unmasked, leaning into his touch.
You tried your hardest to not let it shift your expression, even if it dug a little hole somewhere in your heart to be reminded of what you didnât have.
âI see,â you hummed, playing off your tormenting thoughts and shoving them to the side with the rest. âI am⌠happy that he has someone like you.â
Soapâs eyebrows rose in surprise. He stared at you, confused, before smiling softly. âAh, câmon, dove. Ye got us, too.â
Not in the way your heart longed for. But that was a thought that attempted to fiddle with your mind and leave you stranded on an island of foreign feelings far, far away.
You werenât sure what you desired, anyway.
âRight,â you agreed with a curt nod. âIâll be going now. Please, do not fall while Iâm gone â or do. I have not been able to aid anybody in quite a long time.â
Soap laughed, the sound rumbling you to the core. âMean liâl bird,â he teased.
With a smile, you continued on to your quarters, shoving any strange ideas behind and focusing on the task at hand. Price was still waiting for you, after all.
Entering your shared space, you nearly cursed the world for putting Gaz in there. While you hadnât quite avoided him like you wanted to, that was due to the others being around. Now, here alone, was different.
âHello, Gaz,â you greeted stiffly, giving him a nod. You quickly retreated to your side of the room, which really was Soapâs clutter. You needed to organize it soon or you may lose your mind.
âDove,â Gaz hummed from where he laid in bed, arms resting behind his head in a lazy position. His eyes followed you like a hawk as you rummaged through the bag taken from your village on your first night with the pirates.
The resources youâd been forced to bring so long ago were now going to be of use, which was something you wished to be excited forâyet, the elephant in the room was a downpour on your mood.
You felt ridiculous. It was not as if you were avoiding him in rejectionâit was that it was not rejection that you were avoiding him.
Your heartstrings seemed to tighten and pull whenever he was near, and it made you feel crazy. It felt like you couldnât catch a break, constantly toying with your own feelings.
What was this feeling of longing you so hopelessly seemed to feel differently with each of them? Was it still the craving for a sense of belonging?
âIs someone hurt?â
You glanced up from your bag, fingers pausing. You furrowed your eyebrows in confusion before realization took over and you shook your head. âNo. I am teaching Price the ways of medicine.â
So much for avoiding him.
âIs that so?â he asked. You werenât sure why his tone seemed so⌠off. As if there were a taste of bitterness to it.
You recalled the night you threw your food at him from the stuffiness of your cell below deck when he had done nothing but try and quench your hunger. He truly was not a fan of you, nor you him. While you were scared, he was protective of his kin.
Now, his tone was a grave reminder of how much time had passed, and how different things were.
You gave him another stiff nod, watching as he stood from the bed. Your heart pounded in your chest, banging against your rib cage with every step he took closer.
When he finally stopped, he was mere inches away, standing tall and proud over you. You focused your gaze on his chest, mapping the loosely tied strings that hung from the middle of his billowy shirt. You were overcome with spikes of awkward anxiety and unable to connect eyes with him.
Seeing this, he tilted his head down, cocked to the side in a mocking way. He forced your gaze to meet his from leaning down alone, and you held your breath at the sight of slight annoyance burrowed somewhere in his expression.
âAre you avoidinâ me?â he asked lowly.
You attempted to swallow the lump in your throat. Your hands grew clammy, and you couldnât take them out of your bag to wipe them on your dress or else heâd know.
âNo,â you stammered, frowning. âI am justâ Price is waiting for me.â
Was he angry that you did not reciprocate a kiss? It was not your faultâyou had never shared one.
âThere is no playful banter. Nor even a gaze in the eye,â he commented.
âI am looking at you right now,â you defended weakly.
âWhat youâre doinâ is actinâ different,â he said slyly, mirroring your frown. âWhat, you hand me a gift, a beautiful one, and now that I have read the signs wrong, you wish to hide from me?â
âThatââ You inhaled sharply. âThat is not what is happening.â
âSo, I have read them right, then.â
âI do not know what signs you are referring to.â
âDonât be daft, dove.â
Your fingers tightened around a small jar in your bag, knuckles going white. You wanted to avoid the forced eye contact altogether, but now you could not look away. It was as if you were in a trance.
âIt is improper to refer to a woman as daft,â you hissed in defense.
âYouâre unlike any woman Iâve ever met,â Gaz mused, his head tilting once again.
This is what he wanted, and you were giving it to him. He wanted the banter, the jests, to see you grow irritated to tug a reaction from you, and unfortunately, it was working.
âYou have never been kissed before?â he continued.
Your ears were beginning to ring. Your entire body felt hot to the touch, like a scorching fire burned through your veins and trickled its way up to your brain.
âThat is inappropriate, Gaz,â you tried, though your defense was weak. He was right. He was always right, and you hated it. âI must return to Price. IâI cannot have this conversation.â
âYou will have to avoid the whole sea if you believe I am the only one,â he stated calmly, growing soft now that his initial annoyance was wearing off. âDo not make me the one to suffer.â
You stared at him, mouth opened to speak but the words lost in translation. You felt like you were betraying yourself by choosing to avoid him out of mere uncertainty. You were only doing a disservice to yourself.
The words he spoke laid heavy on your mind, but you were unable to decipher the true meaning. Perhaps you were avoiding that, too.
The two of you said nothing, sitting in tense silence as you hurried to throw your bag over your shoulder. You didnât want Price to slam open his door and search for you, believing you accidentally fell into the treacherous waters and sunk below the angry sea.
You shuffled to the door, hand hovering over the handle. You risked a weary glance over your shoulder, seeing Gaz standing and watching you with keen eyes, a glint of something unrecognizable in them.
You had nobody else to feel sorry for but yourself.
âI will not avoid you,â you muttered quietly. âI do not think I have the strength to do so, anyway. Not with you.â
You tugged open the door, excusing yourself.
The chill in the air was refreshing against your warm skin, cooling off the heat that radiated off of you like a furnace. As you returned to Priceâs quarters, your mind was scrambled, overloaded with millions of thoughts that plagued you.
The wind rustled and blew, and you could only pray there wasnât a familiar whisper hiding in its trail. It seemed as if the universe had plenty of tricks up its sleeve today, and it was dealing them all to you one by one.
When you looked up at the crowâs nest as you walked by, Soap remained. He gave you a smile when you passed, and it made the worry in your stomach simmer to a low boil.
âYou took quite some time,â Price noted as you stepped inside. âDid you walk the plank along your way?â
You chuckled, shaking your head and shooing the bag off your shoulder. It fell to the desk with a small thud. âI ran into Soap,â you explained.
âI see.â Price smiled in acknowledgment. âAlright, dove. Letâs begin, hm?â
âYou are not very good at this.â
You watched as Price attempted to grind a mix of herbs and powder in the bowl you lent him. Teaching him how to make a paste meant for burns proved fruitless, as he seemed to mess up the measurements when you werenât looking.
âThatâs why youâre the expert, dove,â he huffed in annoyance, laser focused on grinding the end of the wooden stick into the roundness of the bowl, mashing down the mixture. âI do not see how this will become a paste.â
âDid you mix in the drops of water like I told you?â you asked.
He glowered at the clear dropper you held up, which seemed just as full as when you first started. He snatched it up, squeezing a couple of drops into the failed paste for good measure, then continued mixing.
âWas I correct?â you teased, peering down into the bowl. You were pleased to see it mixing much more smoothly, almost like thick butter.
âSilence,â he grunted, shooting a weak glare your way. âI pray this medicine proves to be useful.â
âIt is for burns to ease the flare up of the skin,â you explained, keeping an eye on the mixture. âI am sure it will come in handy.â
Price hummed, mashing the paste until he seemed satisfied. He shifted the bowl towards you, waiting for approval. The idea of it made you snortâa Captain, seeking approval from his ex-prisoner.
âIt is not bad,â you praised, earning him a furrow of his eyebrows. âMuch better after the water.â
He gave you a look, unamused, eyeing you as you shoveled the paste into an empty jar. You were happy to add it to the collection, though you wished you had the opportunity for a room for yourself to display them. Soap and Gazâs room was feeling crowded.
âI am only teasing,â you said with a smile. âItâs almost as good as mine.â
Price snorted, smiling back. âAye, Iâm a Captain, not a medic. Thatâs your specialty,â he retorted.
âAnd will this medic ever get a room of her own? Or perhaps a place to work?â
He raised an eyebrow. You mirrored him. âAre the boys not fun to room with?â
Images of Gaz earlier flashed in your mind. You swallowed. âNo, they are just fine. But I am a woman, after all. It is not⌠suitable.â
Price made a noise of acknowledgment, nodding slow. He seemed to be thinking, a hand brushing through his beard and stroking his bottom lip.
âThat is⌠understandable. Forgive me, I have not had a woman on my ship until you. It slipped my mind that you roominâ with those two may not be entirely appropriate,â he replied thoughtfully.
âYou forced me to sleep with you on my first night out of the brig,â you reminded him.
Price paused his stroking, blinking at you. For a moment, you lost him, his mind running astray. You could only stare back patiently.
âWould you prefer to stay here, then?â he asked. âYou may find much more peace in here than with them., or if you'd like, you may switch off between quarters.â
You felt your body tense up at the mere thought. You knew no matter who you stayed with, it would be a gamble. Each of them had your heart on lock in an unfamiliar way, and the thought of staying with Price again had your stomach twisting into knots.
Gaz popped up once again, and you wondered if that decision would solidify your act in avoiding him. A pang of guilt hit your chest.
âYou would not mind?â you asked wearily.
Price shrugged. âI may prefer it, actually.â
Your expression morphed into confusion, eyebrows pulling together and lips curling into a frown. Heâd prefer to spend nights with you, rather than allowing you to cram into a small bed with Soap in the late hours of the night?
You thought the Captain valued his privacy and solitude. Now that he was offering you to stay on his own rather than out of fear of you running off to islands unknown, it felt much more personal.
âYouâd prefer it?â
âYes,â he confirmed.
âWhy?â
The Captain paused, narrowing his eyes at you. You were curious at to what he could be thinking about.
The door to his quarters opened, silencing your conversation rather quickly. The wind sounded much louder now without barriers between the inside and outside, and when you whipped your head to look at the doorway, Soap stood, drenched in water.
You were so focused on your time with Price and your craft, you hadnât noticed the uneasy rockiness of the ship that seemed to grow with every second.
âThe stormâs brewinâ real fast, Cap,â Soap breathed, lightly heaving. He mustâve climbed down the nest in a haste. âWe need to get her steady. Itâs cominâ down faster than we thought.â
The Captain stood quickly, giving him a nod. âGo collect Gaz and Ghost,â he ordered. Soap agreed, tossing the door closed and leaving you alone. âDove, youâre stayinâ here.â
âI must be of helpââ
âHere,â he repeated, tapping his finger on the desk. âThatâs an order.â
You wanted to protest, but the look on his face was gloomy. You watched him leave his quarters and enter the battlefield of heavy rain that spilled over on to the deck.
Something in your heart tugged, but this time, not out of longing, or envyâit was worry. Sure, you faced many storms in your village, but never on a ship where one wrong move could send you right below the waves and have you never come back up again.
You felt helpless as you sat, thumbs twiddling mindlessly in your lap as you hoped and pray the ship would become steady enough for them to return to safety.
âDove.â
The crashing sound of cracking thunder had you jolting in your seat. You did as the Captain ordered and stayed put, but you were becoming restless. The longer you stayed, the more your feeling of cold dread grew.
You knew where it was coming from. It was the very thing living inside your head, and you wondered if Ghost could hear it, too.
You couldnât sit anymore. You got to your feet, quickly throwing open the door to a monsoon.
The ship swayed with the heavy, angry waves that crashed harshly against the sides of the ship. It made you lose balance, and you grabbed on to the doorway to steady.
Gaz and Soap stood under the rainfall, water soaking into their skin and clothes as they heaved the sails closed, holding the ropes to guaranteed they stayed.
Ghost was lifting heavy baggage that had yet to be stored away, thrown over his shoulder as he hurried to transport them to a dry part of the ship.
The Captain stood at the helm, his hair flat against his forehead and dripping water all the way down to his beard. He was mastering the steering of the ship, barking orders at Soap and Gaz while the two attempted to keep the sails at bay.
âIsnât this fun, dove?â Graves whispered. You wished you could claw out your own eardrums.
You knew he was near. Before, you couldnât feel his presenceânow, it felt stronger than ever.
You frantically looked around, hoping to spot him somewhere out at sea, but the rain was too heavy. The sky had been darkening, giving off an ominous hue covered by storm clouds. You wouldnât be able to see him from below.
Your eyes landed on the crowâs nest, the net of rope leading up to it swaying in the crazy wind. Soap had been up there mere hours ago, watching the storm and charting its location.
Without a moment of hesitation, you sprinted in the cold rain, heading towards your destination.
âDove?â Soap called out in confusion, before recognizing you. âDove! What are ye doinâ?â
You began your ascent, just as Gaz had joined in calling for you. With them unable to leave the ropes of the sails behind, they couldnât chase after you, stopping you from your foolish moment of cleverness.
âWhat the hell is she doinâ out?â Price growled, his firm voice quieter in the winds chasing it away.
The rope creaked as you planted your feet in the gaps, climbing your way up to the nest. The higher up you got, the more the breeze increased its abuse, whipping along your face in a serious of angry smacks.
The pirateâs voices grew farther away as you approached the crowâs nest. Their tones were ones of concern, fear, and worry as you scrambled your way on to the rugged, old wood platform, hauling yourself up.
You needed to know if your thoughts were trueâif Graves truly was here, or if it was another one of his tricks.
You stood on the crowâs nest, holding yourself steady with a firm grip of the sides. You looked out into the void, scanning for anything, any signâand there it was.
A ship, not too far off in the distance, swaying with the waves with its front nose pointed in the direction of your ship. A large sail flapped in the wind, and it was so misty you nearly couldnât see it until a familiar white outline of a skull appeared, waving as if saying hello.
Graves was setting sail right towards the ship, and he had every intention of riding out the storm until he reached you.

pretty. â shopping for your wedding gown went a little wrong.
tw/cw: tooth rotting fluff, not proofread, fluff/crack, reader wears a dress + satoru calls them his future wife âmasterlist
you smile and place your palms under your chin, wondering how you got to this point. your snowy haired fiancĂŠ is currently twirling around with a custom tailored wedding gown⌠which he wasnât going to be wearing on your wedding day anyway, because he would never hear the end of it from his first year trio. okay, yuji probably wouldnât have said anything, but nobara and megumi would bully him out of his own wedding. without a doubt, 100 percent.
your mind tried running through the events that had unfolded over the past two weeks, finally stopping at where everything started.
-
âpretty.âÂ
those were the only words that satoru gojo had to say the moment the both of you had found the perfect wedding dress for you. detailed right down to the final bits of the dress, it matched you perfectly with your favourite flowers weaved into the design, just the perfect length⌠it was everything you were looking for.
the sound of your soft laughter brought him out of his awestruck expression. âthank you, but as much as i love it, it feels just a little uncomfortable.â you sounded a little disappointed, and satoru couldnât help but notice every little shift and movement you made⌠especially that mischievous look in your eyes and grin plastered on your face the moment you thought of a âsolution.âÂ
âmaybe you should be the one in a dress at our wedding. iâm sure the strongest can handle a little bit of discomfort.â Â
now, you and gojo had known each other for probably more than a decade. he knew better than anyone else that you were joking. but you were basically challenging him with that last sentence, right?Â
he abruptly stood up from the couch he was sitting on once you had gotten to changing out of the wedding gown before marching off to one of the nearby employees and asking about any dresses his size, only to be met with the response of, âthis is an unusual request, but there are quite a few dresses that would compliment you-â the employee coughed a few times before continuing, â-but we are closing soon, so there might not be enough time to try them on-âÂ
âi'll take all of them.â
âpardon?â
âincluding the one my future wife chose. okay thanks!â
the total came up to about 1.2 million yen. for a dress for you and those 3 gowns the employee picked out, it horrified everyone present at the counter. everyone but him, of course.Â
back to present time, thatâs how you found yourself being the one and only audience member for your belovedâs fashion show. for a good reason, you wanted to chew him out for spending that recklessly. then again, this is the same guy who decides to buy two of the same items no matter how expensive it is âjust in case the other one goes missing.â
you sigh softly before turning your attention back onto him. heâs currently trying on the final dress, and has finally got rid of the sunglasses. you canât help but admit that he actually looks good in the dress, sparkling with all the right types of gems and jewels, paired with his now visible long eyelashes, he looks pretty.Â
âso? how do i look!!?â satoru asks with enthusiasm, spinning around you in circles.Â
âhmm, maybe i should be the one wearing your suit that day instead,â you jokingly say to him. he understood, laughing before ruffling your hair.Â
âas if iâd let you.â a comfortable silence filled the air afterwards, being broken afterwards by satoru confessing, âi dream of seeing you wearing that in front of me at the altar, you know?â
your eyes at this. you werenât expecting him to say something like that so sudden.Â
âi can wear it at night when-â satoruâs sentence was cut off by a light punch to his gut.Â
âhell no.â

Haunted House
Ghost yan x ghost reader
TW: suicide mention
ââââââ
It was with curiosity you stared out the window. A car had pulled up in the drive way. Through the car windows you sa two adults and three children in the backseat. Well, it was definitely not a maintenance company then. It always bothered you so when they came and meddled with your house; though it technically didnât belong to you anymore you still considered the building as you home, and prison.
You watched as the kids ran out of the vehicle to inspect the house. You had to admit, they were rather cute. Before you hadnât really thought about having kids and werenât sure if you ever would, but now you found yourself wondering if you would have made a good mother. One always ponder about the choices out of oneâs reach.
They seemed happy, the family of five. Perhaps you would be fine with them around.
âWhat are you thinking about, dear?â A voice interrupted your dazed thoughtfulness as your mood instantly soured.
âNothing so you can leave.â
The man behind you sighed. âDo you always have to act like this whenever Iâm around?â
You couldnât bring yourself to look back at him, fearing that the sight of him would send you into a frenzy. âI do when youâre the one who ruined my life.â
âRuined your life? We were happy together, in fact, I remember you telling me âI promise to love you even in deathâ but I guess that doesnât apply, not with the way you treat me.â
You nearly gasped at his audacity. The nerve some people had!
âWhat? Are you actually serious right now- you canât be? The way I treat you? You want to talk about the way I treat you? You killed me!â You shouted.
You had turned around now. Your eyes took in the handsome man you had once called the love of your life. Despite the hatred for true actions and pain he caused you, a small part of you still felt something when you looked at him. Maybe it was affection? Maybe it was the anguished feelings of a happy life that could have been? You werenât sure.
He stilled for a moment before speaking again. âI know, and I am sorry it had to go that way-â
âHad to? You werenât forced to do anything. At least take responsibility for your actions!â
âI wouldnât have had to do it if you had just stopped flirting with those other men.â It seemed like it was his turn to become angry. âDonât think I didnât see how you looked at them, how your eyes lit up when you saw someone you very clearly fancied.â
âOh my- weâve been over this a hundred times, they were just coworkers nothing more. Besides, they have wives and kids of their own!â
It didnât matter how much you insisted, your (ex)husband did not relent in his accusations.
âThat doesnât mean theyâll be loyal. You have no idea what a treasure you are, many would do anything to get to have you.â The man twirled a strand of your hair around his finger, entranced by your beauty.
âOh, like you, you mean?â You fired back.
âStop that.â He said. âI donât want to fight with you, weâve already done enough of that. I did what I had to do and nothing will ever change that. Now weâll be together for ever, even in death, just like we promised each other at the altar. I wouldnât have it any other way. I hope that one day you will understand how deep my feelings for you go and see things from my perspective. I love you, I really do.â He turned to leave you to your lonesome. Before he left, he told you one final thing, âNo one else will adore you as much as I, especially now considering no man will ever see you besides me. Youâre nothing more than a ghost after all.â
The tear threatening to escape earlier finally welled up. You cried and wiped your eyes with you cold, dead hand.
ââââââ
Just as you had imagined, the family did bring you a new sense of happiness. Whilst not exactly ideal, watching over(spyin on) the parents and the children made your days more fulfilled. They brought laughter and fun back into your undead life.
Unfortunately you werenât able to look out for them unless they stayed in the house. It was a real pain in the ass, not being able to leave the building. If you could, you would have left decades ago- much to your (ex)husband/ dismay. You suspected he was relieved to find that you were both confined to your place of death. It meant you couldnât leave him, which was his goal the entire time. He got what he wanted in the end.
After stabbing you out of jealousy, you died in his arms, crying and demanding answers to why he would hurt you. When you (surprisingly) woke up again, you were in the same position you had been when your life drained out of you. Your man was clutching you tight to his chest and he was stroking you hair. At first you had believed it was all a dream, then you thought you survived the whole thing. He was still petting your hair and rambling on how he loved you and how he would rather die than be separated from you. You hadnât expected him to be so literal.
You were shocked when you had pulled away from him, only to discover a second version of him lying unmovingly on the floor next to you. Then you noticed the pool of blood spilling out from his neck, and the knife he stabbed you with in his hand. With disbelief you glanced back at the âlivingâ version of him. He smiled somewhat solemnly at you as you took in his too-pale skin and the large scar he had on his throat.
You tried not to think about it too much. No matter what he did, you would never forgive him for taking your life away from you because of his irrational fear of you cheating on him. Well, it was impossible for you to leave or cheat on him now. You were the only ghosts in the house and didnât have the ability to take even a small step outside the front door.
Instead of spending your days avoiding him as usual, you now followed the family around the house. Mostly the children of course. They had the habit of getting into trouble whenever their parents werenât around. You had forgotten how many times you had saved them from tripping or bumping their heads. You were lucky you could touch things in the real world for a short second. You couldnât before so you assumed it was because you were a young and weak ghost back then.
The whole babysitting act also appeared to bother your husband, which you relished in. You remembered one day when he approached you after the family had left for the grocery store.
âDonât you think youâre spending an awful lot of time with those children?â
âI like them so I donât mind.â You answered and continued staring at the drawings they made that afternoon, right before begging called to get dressed and meet by the car.
âWell, I donât think itâs right for you to do the parents job.â He sneered.
Rolling your eyes, you said, âLike I said, I donât mind.â Your wanted to leave it at that but your (ex)husband had other plans.
âSweetie, I will be honest; I believe your getting too attached to this family, itâs not good.â
You sent a glare in his direction. âWhatâs that supposed to mean?â
âWhat I mean is I think you should let them be. Theyâll eventually move on whilst youâll be stuck here. I donât want you to get hurt.â
You scoffed at the audacity he had again. âA little late for that, donât you think? This is the only source of happiness I have, donât take anything more from me, please.â
âI donât make you happy, then?â He asked, though his tone suggested he already knew the answer.
You could look him in the eye, choosing silence. He grumbled something incoherent. After another long minute of silence, he sighed. He did that a lot these days, you thought.
âAlright, my love. Continue to look after these living people if it brings you joy, but remember, it wonât last forever. I will be here when youâre done.â
Once more he left you alone to look out the window. Despite your will to disagree, you knew he was right. These people- this family- they were all still alive. You were not. Your time was over, your life stolen from you. It was only a question of when theyâd leave. Until then, youâd be their guardian in this haunted house.

I NEED more rosekiller x âplatonicâ gf! reader like where they have their first date and kiss for the first time (or would it be the first time??? đđđ)
as always, if you have the inspo for it love!!! đ¤
hahaha these silly goofs - also, to answer your question, it would not have been the first time [it was sort of hinted that they got up to NSFW activities in the first part]. here's a little baby blurb to celebrate them becoming official!
poly!rosekiller x their 'platonic'!girlfriend who are trying to enjoy a nice date [614 words]
CW: side jegulily, side wolfstar, reader has hair that Evan can play with
Lily and Remus shared a knowing look across from each other at their booth in the Three Broomsticks as Sirius, James, and even Regulus craned their necks to observe another table across the pub.
âYou lot have been begging us for a double date for eons, and this is how you wish to spend it?â Remus finally asked then, earning him an aggressive âshush!â from all three boys.Â
âThis could be breaking news.â James hissed as he kept his gaze steadfast on a circular booth that had you, Barty Crouch Junior, and Evan Rosier cosied up as you enjoyed some butterbeers.Â
âWhat? Three friends who spend the majority of their time together having a drink at a pub on a Hogsmeade weekend is now suddenly breaking news?â Lily snorted. âRemind me to alert the Prophet next time the three of you are spotted here with Peter.âÂ
âRed, I love you, youâre like a sister to me, but shut the hells up.â Sirius whispered. âThis looks different.â
âDifferent how?â Remus asked bemusedly. âTheyâre literally just conversing.â
âYeah but theyâreâŚ.sitting nearly on top of each other?â James asked then, eliciting a noncommittal hum from Regulus.Â
âThatâs not new.âÂ
âDo they often sit in each otherâs laps?â James asked his boyfriend incredulously.Â
âThatâs usually how I find them in the library.â Regulus answered quickly.Â
âWait! What about that!?â Sirius added, causing Lily and Remus to look around worriedly wondering who mightâve heard their party being creepy stalkers.
Once they were confident that no one was privy to their very strange date activities, they turned their attention to your booth where they saw Evan twirling a section of your hair between his fingers with a look of wonder on his face.Â
âShe does have really nice hair.â James offered in their defence, earning him a displeased scoff from Lily that was mostly for show.Â
âIt has nothing on yours, though, my beautiful flower.â James amended quickly, shooting Lily one of his warmest smiles.Â
âNice save, Jamie.â Regulus murmured, though he too took that moment to twirl a lock of Lilyâs hair between his fingers himself.
âOkay, well that has to be new.â Sirius argued tiredly then as he pointed to your now tangled up form with Barty who was kissing you so deeply that you were basically becoming one with Evan whose lap youâd been propped on.Â
âTheyâve done worse.â Regulus replied simply.
âDefine worse.â Remus deadpanned.
âI donât know, Lupin; how would you define loud and freaky sex? Better or worse?â Regulus spat.
âBetter.â The table agreed quickly before turning their attention back to your table to see that you and Evan were now sitting alone in the booth.Â
âWhereâd Junior go?â Lily mused, but the answer came in the form of Barty slamming his hands down on their table and levelling everyone with a glare. âRegulus.â He offered politely, before moving his gaze to the rest of the party. âGryffindorâs.â He sneered as if it were a dirty word. âI have come to ask politely that you refrain from staring at my boyfriend and girlfriend, thank you.âÂ
And with a flourish, Barty stood and strode back over to your table where Evan smirked salaciously at him and you looked at him with faux exasperation. âSee! I was very polite - I didnât even threaten maiming.â They heard him boast as he reclaimed his seat.Â
Sirius, James, and Regulus all let out a hum of understanding. âThatâs new.â Regulus finally agreed then.
âWhat? The title of âgirlfriendâ for Y/N?â Lily asked with a chuckle.
âAnd Juniorâs newfound manners.â James added as he finally turned his attention back to his boyfriend and girlfriend and their double date.

I wanted a slightly suggestive fluff with the twins if that's alrightđď¸đđď¸
A scenario in which they're finally done with Sylus's tasks for the day and get to spend some time with MC
CRYINGGG anon I low-key did deviate from the brief but I had this idea and I just ended up running with it. I hope you enjoy, regardless! I went into this ambivalent towards Luke and Kieran but something just possessed me honestly. Also dragged Sylus into it because there's no way in hell I wasn't subjecting him to this dynamic!! đ (I made MC here separate from canon MC for plot reasons, but if you want a fic with the twins and canon MC, just let me know!)
Onychinus' Finest
Luke and Kieran x Reader
Summary: All in a day's work for Sylus's loyal and committed worker bees crows
Genre: fluff & shenanigans
Warnings/Additional tags: MDNI (not smut but it's a lil spicy and I'd rather play it safe tbh), f!reader, nonMC!reader, platonic Sylus x reader, humour, swearing, suggestion, kisses, the twins are just obsessed with your legs honestly and who could blame them

Your call connects almost instantly.
âWhat?â Sylus hisses from the other end, and you get the impression heâs disappointed.
âOof,â you groan, smiling, âwhatâs the matter, boss? Waiting on a call from a certain Deepspace Hunter?â
Thereâs silence in your ear, but not far from you, Kieran snickers. Your smile broadens. âYou have three seconds,â Sylus seethes, with the precarity of a pot that could boil over at any moment, âto tell me what I want to hear.â
Three seconds is a bit of a push. Youâre sat on a desk and Kieran is tapping away at the computer beside you, the light of the screen catching the sharp features of his mask; he looks like something from a horror story. You nudge his knee with your foot. He glances at you.
Wrap it up, you signal with a twirl of your forefinger.
His mask tilts downwards, almost imperceptibly, and you know heâs glaring at you from behind it. He flashes his middle finger back and you chuckle, watching him return to his work. âFiles should be on their way shortly,â you explain to Sylus, because you know when to stop pushing your luck. âEverâs upped the security on these damn computers. The device that guy sold you didnât do shit.â
Itâs also now pieces of a device, shattered against the floor from when Kieran had thrown it down and stepped on it in frustration. Youâre not gonna mention that.
Sylus sighs impatiently, but thereâs a hint of regret. âI knew there was something off about that deal. Do you think he tipped them off?â
You glance around the room and itâs littered with bodies. Not dead! Just⌠unconscious. At least, most of them, you think. âYeahâŚâ you muse. It was a lot more security than there should have been in a high-rise office in the middle of the night. âYou might be onto something there, boss.â
Another sigh from Sylus. You watch Luke as he finishes lootingâ wait, noâ checking the last of the security guards for anything helpful. Heâs found a phone and heâs staring down at it, head tilted, reminding you of Mephisto. You briefly wonder what came first: the crow masks or the crow-like behaviour. Maybe youâll ask Sylus one day.
Luke lifts the phone, holding it at armâs length, and you realise heâs taking a selfie. He pivots until you and Kieran are in the background, and you lean into the frame, making a peace sign with your free hand. The moment is captured. Luke tosses the phone over his shoulder and it hits the floor with a crack.
âAre you all alright?â Sylus checks, and you know his eyes are burning with frustration, even though you canât see them. He wears a mask tooâ most of the timeâ itâs just a little more figurative than yours or the twinsâ. Youâre an expert at reading past them by now.
âYeah,â you say, âwe signed up for this, remember? Youâve got the best of the best, right here.â You glance between Luke and Kieran. âWell, the best of the best and her sidekicks.â
âHey!â Kieran interjects. âYou wanna have a go on this computer?â
âNo,â you lilt back sweetly. Whatâs he gonna doâ make you? Sure enough, he goes back to tapping away, his head sagging slightly, and you can tell heâs pouting.
Luke has wandered closer to the pair of you. âHow much longer?â he whines, throwing himself into a wheely chair, setting it on a slow collision course with Kieranâs. You stop it with your leg.
âShut up,â Kieran snaps. âAt least Iâm doing something.â
âI can do something,â Luke retorts. He captures your ankle, pulling it away from the leg of his chair, and rests a hand on your shin.
âSomething isnât in the mood right now.â You lift your foot from his grasp, inching it up his lower abdomen, and he groans as you plant it against his chest. âSo unprofessional,â you tut.
Youâd stifled your phone against your chest, but you can hear a deep voice leaking out of it. âSay that again, boss?â you request, bringing it back to your ear.
âHow long is this going to take?â Sylus repeats.
âNot long. You know what they say, thoughâŚâ You meet the eyes of Lukeâs mask. Your tone drops: âAll good things to those who wait.â
Lukeâs chair squeaks, rolling back as you push him away with a soft kick.
âFine,â Sylus murmurs, âMephisto is with me. Stay on the line, and send the files through when you can. Iâll check them before you leave. If they knew we were coming, thereâs a chance thatââ
âYeah, yeah, I get the picture,â you interrupt. You get Kieranâs attention again, then gesture between the computer and the phone. The beak of his mask dips as he nods.
Luke has used your lapse of focus to draw himself close to you again. He takes your ankle once more and guides it to rest in his lap, one hand tightâ holding you in placeâ and the other deftly undoing the buckles on your boot. After a few clinks, he pulls it from your foot, the leather dragging down over your skin and leaving it cold. He throws the boot at his twinâs leg.
Kieran huffs as it tumbles to the floor. He doesnât look away from the computer, but you know he wants to. Now thatâs professional.
Decidedly committed to another priority, Luke draws shapes on your lower leg, his finger grazing over your shin and ankle. Heâs staring down, fixated, and maybe they arenât shapesâ maybe theyâre letters. Every stroke of his finger is deliberate. You could ask what heâs writing, but you really donât care so long as itâs more than a word or two.
If it is, he doesnât have the patience for it. His fingers walk higher, stopping only as they reach your knee. The fabric of your dress is draped over your leg and he pushes it aside, letting it slink closer to the floor. He looks up at you, head angled like a question.
âAny progress?â Sylus asks.
Youâre holding your phone between your ear and your shoulder, both hands splayed on the desk beside you so you can lean slightly back. âGetting there,â you say, lips curving. Youâre not looking at the computer.
You could swear you hear Luke laugh, but itâs ever so faint. He rests his whole hand on you, warming your lower leg with broader strokes, and whatever he wrote has been erased. Your breath catches as his touch moves above your knee, and itâs a tiny sound; no-one would notice.
Kieranâs mask turns towards you. âOh, come on,â he sighs. âNo fair.â
Itâs an intimate art: seeing behind a mask. You have to notice everything.
âSo hurry up,â Luke answers, his voice heavier than the last time he spoke. His chest rises and falls with every breath, just a little slower, a little deeper.
Kieran rolls his eyesâyou guess, from the listless way his attention goes back to the screenâ and you detect a huff. âNot fair,â he says to himself. He repeats it as he punches keys with his fingers: âNot fair. Not fair.â
Luke shakes his head gently: a fond exasperation rather than anything serious. He rolls his chair closer until heâs framed by your legs, then lifts your ankle to rest on his shoulder. His fingers curl, the pads of them brushing over the top of your foot idly, but it tickles, so you try to pull away. He grasps your ankle again. âNuh-uh, kitten,â he teases.
Itâs one of your favourite in-jokes; you laugh. Sylus can still hear you, and youâre glad he doesnât know itâs at his expense. âSomething funny?â he asks. Maybe he does know.
âYeah,â you say. He could string you upside-down with his Evol and youâd still never tell him what.
Luke is chuckling to himself, and the sound changes as he lifts his mask just enough to free the lower half of his face. Itâs not the first time, but it sobers you instantly. He turns to press his lips to your ankle, leans inâ kisses further up. Leans in againâ his mouth moves higher.
âWhy so wriggly?â he speaks into your knee. âStop.â
âYou stop,â you counter, reaching forward to grab one of the horns peeking out of his hood. You use it to pull him away. Make him look at you. âYour little book on conquest doesnât work on me.â
His lips widen into a smirk. Â
âWhat book?â Sylusâs voice echoes.
You smirk as well. âAsk your pet hunter.â
Youâre interrupted by a thud and your head spins. Kieran is standing up, slapping the top of the computer in frustration. âCâmon, work!â he urges. âSo freakinâ slow.â
âAh, ah, ah.â You shoo him away from the computer like you would a too-friendly pigeon from your lunch.
He flaps back in answer, his hand engaging yours in a brief slap-fight before he backs down. He slumps into his chair, defeated. âItâs almost there,â he groans, folding his arms. âHey, Luke? Wanna swap?â
âNo.â
âDo it,â you prompt.
Lukeâs head rolls begrudgingly. âYes maâam. Jeez.â He plants a warm kiss on your leg again before clambering out from underneath it, pulling his mask back down over his face.
Another moment later and Kieran is in front of you instead. âYou ok?â you wonder out loud.
âBored.â He rests his head sideways on your thigh. His fingers find your bare lower leg and he runs them up, down, up, down, but itâs soft and purposeless. Soon, his head liftsâ thin, red eyes staring up at you. The gaze doesnât waver as he leans back in his chair and starts to unfasten your other boot.
âSheâs gonna get cold,â Luke quips from the computer.
âNah. Sheâs not.â
Your skin prickles as Kieran pulls away your boot, like a reflection of his brother, but tortuously more slow. He lets the cool air of the room set in. âHuh,â he corrects himself. âMaybe she is.â
You get the sense youâre being punished; both of them are petty. Youâre pettier, though. âSylus?â you speak into the phone.
âMmm?â
âDid I ever tell you about the time that Kieranâ ah!â
In a heartbeat Kieran has lifted his maskâ not enough, but enoughâ and planted a kiss above your knee. His hand is around your leg, pushing it further from the other, and you canât help but gasp again.
âWhat are youâŚâ Sylus starts to ask, but then he changes his mind. âNo. I donât want to know.â
âYou sure, boss?â you chuckle breathlessly. âIt might surprise you.â
âNothing would surprise me at this point, sweetie. Those files had better be on their way.â
You tear your gaze away from Kieran to glance over at Luke. Heâs sat, propped on an elbow, his chin in his palm, and heâs definitely not looking at the computer. He sits up straight under your scrutiny. Turns to the screen. After a few more drums of the keyboard, he gives you a thumbs up.
âGot it,â Sylus chimes in, no doubt perusing the files already. âNothing seems amiss. Nice work.â
âThanks, boss,â you grin. âIâve been working very, very hard.â
The phone is snatched from your hand. âShe has, sir!â Kieran speaks into it. He stands, putting it on speaker before setting it down beside you. âI think she deserves the night off.â
Thereâs a crash as he shoves the computer from the desk, and Luke leans back, swinging his feet up onto the now empty space. He lifts his mask marginally to put two fingers to his lips, whistling in celebration. Thereâs a slow clap for good measure, too.
Kieran bows to him with a flourish. Then to you; you bow your head back.
âIâm hanging up,â Sylus states plainly.
âOk,â you chirp, distracted. âI hope she calls you soon, boss!â Â
âI donât⌠Iâm notâŚâ your leader stutters. He reconsiders. âThank you. Donât think, however, that Iâmââ
He doesnât get to finish the warning, threat, or whatever else it was. Lukeâs finger stands proudly on the phone, still connected to the âend callâ button. âWhat?â he dismisses as you and Kieran look at him. âI slipped! If boss asks, you saw me slip.â
âI did see it,â Kieran nods.
âI saw it too,â you add solemnly. Â
Thereâs silence for a single moment, and thereâs never silence with you three around. It lasts as long as it usually does.
You all burst into laughter.

"I honestly don't know why filming tiktoks is taken so seriously," yn remarked to the camera as she strolled through the bustling halls of hybe. "filming behind-the-scenes for it seems a bit dramatic, don't you think?" she chuckled, her playful demeanor momentarily halted when her manager shot her a scolding glare
"I think you guys will be happy with who I'm doing this trend with," yn continued, her tone laced with mischief. "on weverse, I mentioned seeing natty and julie from kiss of life do this, and I wanted to try it too, but not with my boring members," she teased, fully aware that her bandmates would likely come for her for the comment later. "so, I asked who you wanted me to do this with, and I'm fulfilling your wishes."
as yn continued her walk, the oldest member of new jeans came into view, waiting for her with a warm smile. yn reciprocated the smile as she introduced minji to the camera, the latter waving in acknowledgment.
âminji will be doing this with me.â yn smiles as the girl waved at the camera.
"this might take a while since I fluster minji a lot," yn remarked to the camera, earning a playful scowl from minji. "anything I do, she will mess up."
âwhat are you even talking about.â she says ynâs pushing ynâs shoulder lightly, rolling her eyes when yn dramatically throws herself back, âthatâs not true.â
after bickering, the girls set up the phone before filming, the audio of the song played and they start, minji points her fingers towards yn keeping her gaze on the girl waiting for her to dance but all yn does is turn away.
âdonât look at me!â she says covering her face and walking away only to be pulled back by minji, âwhy were you looking so intensely?!â
"I have to look at you, I need to face you, that's part of the trend," minji explained, trying to coax ynâs hands away from her face, chuckling at ynâs visible fluster as she backed away.
"I need to go on a walk," yn declared, feeling overwhelmed by the situation as she dramatically tried to exit.
âwhat?! no come on letâs do this.â
it took them five times to get in right all thanks to yn, but hey it was worth it in the end the fans loved the video.

yn, completely immersed in the music and the interaction with her fans, spun around in her chair with enthusiasm, belting out the lyrics, the room echoed with her joyous singing as she twirled, lost in the moment.
unbeknownst to her, the door creaked open, revealing minji's arrival. With a mischievous grin, minji grabbed the arm of ynâs spinning chair, abruptly halting its motion and causing yn to let out an unexpected scream of surprise.
"you scared me!" yn exclaimed, hand pressed against her chest as she shot minji a playful glare, though her heart was still racing from the sudden interruption.
minji chuckled at ynâs reaction, unfazed by the accusation. "all I did was stop your chair," she retorted casually, shrugging off ynâs accusation of sneaking up on her.
"no, you snuck up on me!" yn insisted, turning back to face her live audience, who were now buzzing with excitement at minji's unexpected appearance. "she's so obsessed with me that she couldn't wait until after the live to see me."
a blush crept onto minji's cheeks momentarily before she scoffed in disbelief. "what are you even saying at this point?"
"I'm saying you're obsessed," yn teased, continuing to ramble and poke fun at minji, who tried her best to maintain her composure despite the girl's relentless banter. with a sigh, minji glanced at the comments scrolling by, standing behind ynâs chair and wrapping her arms around ynâs shoulders from behind, resting her chin on ynâs head.
"why'd you stop talking?" minji asked, unable to see ynâs face directly since she was now positioned behind her.see.
"you're being touchy,"yn responded, her cheeks flushed with embarrassment as she tried to regain her focus, flustered by minji's unexpected affectionate gesture.

minji smiled when yn sat beside her waving to the live, âI came to visit!â yn exclaims.
âitâs been a while since yn has been with me on live right?â minji says while the fans on live comment about how long theyâve been waiting for yn and minji to do a live again.
âyou guys better be grateful Iâm here.â yn says pointing at the live, âchaewon unnie almost didnât let me go because itâs our day off.â in reality that wasnât the reason chaewon almost forced yn home at all, as soon as she heard that yn was going to hang out with a certain new jeans member she flipped, especially after last time.
minji sent yn and alarmed look before reading the comments, âyn tell us about meeting jennie in paris.â
ynâs face lit up and she immediately got into the details of meeting the blackpink member and like always once you get yn to talk about something itâs hard to stop her.
minji, fully engrossed in ynâs storytelling, suddenly noticed how the girl was slightly not in the frame. without missing a beat, she smoothly adjusted, tugging YN's chair closer with a casual, nonchalant gesture, ensuring the girl was perfectly within the frame.
yn paused for a second, obviously feeling slightly flustered by the action.
"what?" minji inquired innocently, her gaze fixed on yn, unwavering and intense.
all yn did was shake her head and get back into her story, while yn was talking to the live, it was like she could feel minjiâs gaze on her causing yn to fidget uncomfortably in her seat. finally, unable to ignore the scrutiny, yn turned to meet minji's gaze, only to find the other girl still staring back with slight intensity.
the embarrassment creeping up her cheeks, yn quickly averted her gaze, focusing once again on the live broadcast. "stop that!" she blurted out, hoping to distract herself from the overwhelming feeling of minjiâs stare.

MOMMY KNOWS BEST âŁď¸
Chapter 19
Rebecca poured them each a glass of wine. âYou are really a pro at this Samantha,â Rebecca said.
âWell I did a lot of babysitting in high school and college. I almost pursued early education as a career, but clearly didnât work out that way,â Samantha responded. There was something about Samantha that put Rebecca at ease. Although they had never spent much time together and never just the two of them, she felt as if she had known her for years.
âCan I be candid with you Samantha?â Rebecca asked.
âOf course,â she replied.
âI love Brian to pieces. He is my world. I am so happy that I am able to be is mommy. ButâŚâ Rebecca froze.
âBut what?â Samantha implored.
âWell this last week has been a whirlwind. A week ago, I knew my husband as a strong, confident man and now I am changing his diapers. Iâm not sure I can ever see him the same again. Donât get me wrong. I donât want things to go back to the way they were, but Iâm not sure if I will ever see him as my husband anymore. Does that make any sense? Am I being selfish?â Rebecca asked looking for guidance.
âYou are not being selfish at all. You have needs too. I think what you have done for Brian is amazing. I admire the sacrifice you have made to give him this, but donât bury your own needs. Brian chose to be a baby, but he will need to realize that he is no longer your husband. You are his mommy from here on out and he will need to accept that. It may be hard on him, but I have seen how quickly he has transformed into a baby. You never know, one day you might want another partner to help look after him,â Samantha said with a smile.
âAnother partner?â Rebecca asked. âI hadnât even thought of that.
Samantha gave a devious grin and twirled her finger around a strand of hair, âI donât know. Maybe he needs two mommies?â
Rebecca was stunned. Was Samantha suggesting what she thought she was? She had always been attracted to other women, but never given any thought to the idea of dating a woman. âI, I donât know,â she mumbled. Samantha leaned over top of her and kissed her lips. Rebecca sat frozen for a moment, but she capitulated to Samanthaâs advance and returned the kiss.
Samantha gave her a wry smile, âWell we could discuss the idea more in the bedroom if you like?â
Rebeccaâs heart pounded. She had butterflies in her stomach. She didnât know if she should be doing this. What about Brian? He might be crushed, but then again, she Samantha was right. She had needs too. Rebecca got up and ran into the bedroom. Samantha stood before her completely naked and all of her hesitation vanished. The two collapsed into the bed.
Rebecca, flushed with excitement, whispered into Samanthaâs ear, âI need you at my breasts.â
âWith pleasure!â Samantha replied. Samantha aggressively sucked at her breasts and started to taste something sweet. She smiled and looked up at Rebecca, âI think your milk is starting to come in.â She went back to sucking her nipples. Rebecca arched her back with pleasure. Samantha kissed Rebeccaâs stomach and then down to her pelvis. She soon had Rebecca in ecstasy. âI want you to be his second mommy,â she exclaimed as she came.
âI was hoping you would say that,â Samantha said. The two kissed and held each other while Brian slept, completely unaware of what was happening in the room over.

imagine mistaking beastzai as your usual dazai (you thought he wanted to be emo for a day) and like did usual silly cute things with him then dazai came home and heâs like HUH WHO IS THIS GUY R U CHEATING ON ME :(( but in the end you have⌠double boyfriends but oneâs moody and oneâs fucking annoying
anons that think alike omg telepathy ⌠use ur powers for good!!! two asks in one btw i feel so productive
alsooo beast!dazai would be giddy like a child to be in the main tl w his love⌠heâd be twirling you around and enjoying what couldâve been before he has to go back!!! all dazais are cringy and in love w u it's true they told me themselves !!!!
âWhatâs with the outfit?â You spoke bluntly, clearly a little put off by the reappearance of the black coat and red scarf. âDude, you look like Mori.â Harsh, sure, but your boyfriend worked so hard to walk alongside you in the light, so the last thing you wanted was to see what wouldâve been, if not for âÂ
Dazai smiled, seemingly amused. âAh, love, itâs merely a costume. Thought youâd get a kick out of it,â he replies easily, pulling off the long red scarf: a staple of the Port Mafiaâs boss.
His words help to relax you, letting out a small sigh as you push the coat off of his shoulders. âLet me grab you your coat, I know itâs around here somewhereâŚâ You flittered about your shared apartment, pulling a backup brown coat from its spot buried underneath your closet. âThis better suits you,â you speak under your breath as Dazai pulls it on. The fit seems a little⌠different. Is it somehow looser than normal? You frown.
âThank you, love,â he repeated the same pet name. It felt as though he missed saying it, which doesnât quite make sense.
You choose not to dwell on it â maybe seeing him in black again just rewired your brain for a moment. Heâs alive and well in front of you and nothing else matters. A nod is all the reply Dazai gets before you slip on your shoes.
âI thought you might have headed to work early when I didnât see you in bed this morning, but I guess thatâs my fault for assuming the impossible,â you decide to tease.
Dazai easily slips behind you, wrapping his arms around your waist and resting his chin against your shoulder. âMm⌠I love you, you know that? Letâs skip work today. We can spend time together, âkay?â
Heâd always been unpredictable and spontaneous, so you merely laughed in response. âI donât have work today, remember? But you still do.â
Shaking his head, he pouts â thereâs the Dazai you love. âNope!~ I refuse to go into work today. Iâm spending my whole day with my love!â He practically jumps for joy, hands moving to gently hold your waist. âLetâs bake cookies.â
There isnât much you can do, watching with an amused grin as Dazai unties your shoes before dragging you to the kitchen.
âIt does not take two hours to make cookie doughâŚâ you sigh, trying to jostle the white flour from your hair. âWe baked cookies together, like, two weeks ago! How could we already have forgotten everythingâŚâ
Dazai grins, planting kiss after kiss on your cheeks, melted butter staining your skin from when he accidentally tried to drink from the cup youâd used to soften it. âHard to remember much when Iâm with you.â
âIs that supposed to be a compliment?â You chuckled, grabbing a towel from the counter to wipe both your face and his lips.
âYep!~ Itâs like.. my love is so pretty I canât think when Iâm around them! Oh, I could just die in⌠No! I donât even want to die! I could live in your arms, grow old together and watch you get all frail and saggy,â Dazai speaks dreamily, swooning over the idea of growing old with you. How sweet.
You push him away gently and begin balling up the chocolate chip cookie dough, pressing it onto the silver pan you made Dazai buy when you first started staying over. âSaggy? No, Iâll be young and beautiful forever,â you joke, but Dazai only nods in response.
âItâs true! No one holds a candle to my love. Why, I wish I could spend every day just staring at you.â Dazaiâs voice always sounded teasing when he was with you, but even as you put the last of the cookie dough onto the tray (only had enough to fill one, since Dazai kept spilling, throwing or eating the ingredients..) you could feel the genuineness in his words.
Oven preheated, you slid the sheet in to bake (making sure to start the timer) before turning to Dazai. Before you could get a word in, the front door to your shared apartment creaked open. Heart dropping to your stomach, you grabbed the closest thing to you: a whisk your boyfriend had licked clean. Said boyfriend only seemed to sigh, falling into a more somber mood, head hanging before he sent you a sad smile.
âI think the jig is up, loveâŚâ
Your name is called from the front door, the voice⌠suspiciously familiar. âAre you in there? You werenât answering your phone and I got worried...â Dazai stepped into your apartment, hanging his keys by the door before turning around (an addition you made, since he tended to forget his and jumpscare you by picking the lock every few days).
The three of you stood still, no words spoken and the only sound being that of your metal whisk dropping to the floor. Spinning from one Dazai to the next, you wiped a splotch of flour from your shirt collar. You felt guilty for some reason, like you were at fault for not recognizing an imposter Dazai, and wanted to make yourself look more presentable.
âAwww, love!â The Dazai at the door pouts, throwing his coat on the floor as he quickly heads over to you. âAre you cheating on me?â He continues, slouching over you to impose as much of his weight as he can. You struggle for a moment, his bone crushing hug enveloping more than you expected.
Guilt still apparent as your tummy twisted, you shook your head. âI didnâtâ â
The other Dazai, the one wearing a black tie and covered in various cookie ingredients pouted as well. âMaybe sheâs cheating on me! I mean, I canât believe my love moved in with another manâŚâ
God, this was too confusing. You gently pushed Dazai A off of you, stepping back from the two. âI donâtâ â
âI canât believe this⌠I head to work early one time and now youâre making cookies for someone else!â Dazai A whined, face smooshed against the oven doorâs glass in longing. âIâll never be on time again! In fact, I think Iâll always have to be late.â
Dazai B pulled Dazai A back towards him by his collar, whispering obnoxiously, âIâll share the cookies if you share the beautiful partner.â
Dazai A nods in approval, eyes closed and arms crossed like it was the easiest decision to make in the world. âI want half the sheet. And, I want a kissâŚâ He pouts towards you. Ugh, how annoying.
You deadpan towards the two, no longer feeling guilty. These two were just as much Dazai as they could get. Arms spread, you let Dazai A pull you into a hug so you can give him a proper welcome home kiss. âBoth of you are obnoxious. Is that all Iâm worth? Half a sheet of cookies?â
âHalf a sheet of your cookies,â Dazai B grins. âThatâs not something either of us would give up lightly.â The other Dazai nods in agreement.
Both of your stupid, annoying, clingy boyfriends tug on your sleeves, forcing you over to the couch so they can both receive your affections while the cookies bake.
the timer goes off after a while but they both whine about not wanting to let u get up. once you threaten letting the cookies burn they're quick to let go. i hate them both.

His daughter (sully family x reader)
It was rare for Naviâs to have twins. So with Neytiriâs pregnancy with Loâak and Y/n it was safe until it wasnât, she had almost lost Y/n in her womb. It wouldâve left Loâak by himself, the rest of Neytiriâs pregnancy was the worst. She knew her baby girl was going to be born weak, so when they pulled her out of Neytiriâs womb it was like they were taking the life right out of her. Neytiri immediately went to grab her, longing for her daughterâs heart beat. Compared to Loâaks body Y/n was small and fragile..from then on the connection with their daughter was strong, they needed to be in order to keep her alive.
So from then on Y/n was Jakeâs baby girl, his precious daughter. It should be noted that she was Loâaks twin and was raised along side him and Kiri.
Of course as any child would, Loâak and Kiri had selective hearing when it came to their father and his many rules growing up. However, Y/n listened. She was the only one out of all three who truly cared about her fathers opinion. In the eyes of the clan Y/n was Jakeâs golden heart.
*
âMhm and Ooo! What is this papa?â
The child had wobbled to her mothers chain of flower, she had planned to surprise the girls with.
âahhh, that my little one is not for you!â
ââŚare you sure papa? It looks nice on me.â
Y/n twirled around with the flower crown, smiling with glee and grace.
âIt does!! But your mother would kill me if she found out I let you-â
Neytiri had walked through the home before he could even finish his sentence
âMaâJake?! You were supposed to hide it!â
âShe got a hold of it!â
âIt looks amazing mama-â
While spinning however, Y/n fell to the floor and both parents looked at her in disbelief. They froze for a moment waiting for the cryâs to begin..but they never did. Y/n just laughed at herself and laughed at her parents for worrying more than she had. Jakeâs smile couldnât hide, he knew that Y/n was strong and he loved that about her.
*
The only issue with Y/n was that she wore her heart on her sleeve. She loved to love everything in site, and she often gave people the benefit of the doubt. Jake saw that, and he trained her very well. He had her perfected and established to be a role model for the clan. Despite all his efforts, y/n didnât find it in her heart to view the world as he did. So, he kept a watch fall eye on her to keep her safe, and Y/n was never allowed anywhere without someone around.
*
âIâm going around the village! By-â
âNope! Not without your sister!â
Y/n had tried her hardest to remain patient with her father, settling on not saying anything and instead holding her frustration in. All she desperately wanted was time to herself; she was exhausted from spending time with everyone.
*
In many ways Y/n knew how to capture anyoneâs eye. She was the most vibrant out of all siblings. All siblings remained close, but they had never gotten to the point where they would speak about..the cracks within their house..
*
Jake had been furious that he found both of his sons wondering around the forest, with no care in the world.
âLoâak are you stupid?! You were given orders! Stay away from those areas of the forest!..and you! Neteyam how many times do I have to tell you to keep an eye on your siblings!â
Both boys would blink their tears away..
*
It wasnât just them..
*
Y/n had been eating her dinner alongside her family when an elder adult approached her. They had instructed her to fix something, in an aggressive tone; almost as though they were demanding it be done now. For once, Y/n retaliated gently, slightly annoyed that she was constantly interrupted when she was trying to connect and eat like the rest of the clan.
âIm sorry, can it wait till im done eating? then Iâll be happy to do it! thank you.â
The elder had gotten annoyed because it was the first time, Y/n declined aiding. The women had walked away in a rush, upset at the girl.
The siblings quickly exchanged confused faces about the situation before leaping back into their conversation but Jake couldnât shake off the emotions he was feeling about Y/n denying the women.
â..that was rude why did you treat her like that?â
Y/n looked at her father with a questionable look..
âShe was rude first.â
âSo? She is an elder..â
âI said I would get it done later sir, im eating like the rest of you. She can wait.â
âY/n that is not the behavior you should be having towards the clan.â
The pair had went back and forth in hushed voice as the rest of the family watched.
â..why is it that she can toss orders at me and you can be completely fine with it?â
âY/n you canât be talking back to me-â
âCan our daughter not eat in peace Jake? Please can the both of you be quiet.â
The pair turned to Neytiri and all Y/n could do was pass a gentle smile at her mother, glad she had stepped in. It was very rare that Neytiri ever did. Both Y/n and Jake were so used to getting what they wanted, that the pair would often clash headsâŚ
*
The arguments didnât start until Y/n got older. She had gotten so eager to finally go out by herself and be more independent. Thatâs just the person Y/n was, she was willing to take risks and adventure. Funny enough Loâak was the same, yet he got away with majority of the things he did because it was expected of him. Y/n always had to come back home looking the same as she did before she left. Not a hair or seam in her outfit out of place, if Jake knew she did anything he wouldnât approve of heâd be furious.
To Y/n , that was the most frustrating thing of all. Everyone of her siblings would be able to go out, except her. She had hated it, she always felt watched. When the people came up to her she felt as though she couldnât truly connect, she was absolutely terrified of the things theyâd tell her father if she did.
For her fatherâs approval, Y/n conquered more than you can imagine. She had more talent in her body at her young age than any male soldier.
You can only imagine how eager Jake was to leave the forest. His sacred children were held at gunpoint, what more of a signal could there be as a warning to go?
So the family left their home; tears fell from everyoneâs eyes as they were now torn away from their friends and families. Y/n eventually grew with excitement and encouraged the rest of her siblings to feel the same, she knew something good was coming. Eywa was going to treat them to a reset button.
When they arrived on the island Y/n stood tall and confident. The clan looked at them with the most disgusted faces, confused as to why they were there and what theyâd be asking for..
Time had passed and when Ronal got to Y/n, she didnât hesitate to poke at her body. She had no shame in Critiquing it, in-front of her peopleâŚ
âThis child! She wonât last-â
Neytiri hissed, frustrated at Ronal for even implying that. Jake had told her to calm down, yet again putting his foot down.
âDo you think this is what we want here? Your childrenâs bodies wonât survive in our ocean, their demon blood runs thick..â
Ronal continued by picking at Kiri and Loâak next.. degraded was an understatement of how Y/n felt. She looked at the crowd furiously, until her eyes settled on a boy who had just came onto shore. He had teased her siblings here and there before meeting her eyes.
Aoânung could feel the madness within her eyes, how fragile and frightened this experience was for her. Those eyes told everything. He had made the abrupt choice to put the teasing to an end, deciding it wasnât worth it. Nothing could perfectly describe the way Aoânung viewed Y/n , she was breathtaking to him. Different than the rest of the Naviâs but comforting.
When he was walking them to their Mauri he had gotten quiet, glancing at her the entire walk. She looks so comfortable in her skin, confident even! But when you took one look at her eyes it was like they captivated you and told you her lifeâs story. He was so interested in her background..
Y/n had remained quiet the rest of the night, she was excited before but nowâŚthe anxiety and sadness settled in. She missed the forest, she missed home. Y/n missed it so much that she regretted being at least a little excited, she threw herself to go back to grieving. All her siblings seemed eager to learn, but she knew that if she didnât get any of it right or if her father didnât think she was trying hard enough heâd made her relearn to all over and over again.
So there she was, picking at her foodâŚfighting the tears. In that moment she realized she pushed those excited emotions on herself, at home she had a role to withold and the people were always so eager to speak to her. Maybe she took it for granted sometimes but, she would always take the time to say hello and ask how everyoneâs day was.
âY/n? Y/n? Y/n!â
She had been pulled out of her transit once again.
âYes?â
âI know itâs hard. But we canât sit at the table with upset faces. When youâre out there? You smile. When they donât smile back? You smile. Even when Theyâre not here you must smile. they cannot know you have a distasteful thought while being here.â
She was mad. Mad that he was still holding his guard up. Upset that he had managed to order her around even when he wasnât trying to. Frustrated that he couldnât see that they should be allowed to grieve the loss of their home. Neither of them realized how exhausted and how easily irritated both of them could get after the amount of traveling they did.
âNo ones here except family-â
âSo? Your siblings feel your emotions! Youâre making everyone upset.â
âHow is that my fault? Iâve been trying-â
âWell try harder! Cause that face isnât showing it.â
Those furious tears fell from her eyes as she stared at her father. He wanted to control everywhere she went, and now he wanted to control her emotions.
â..Well you canât go around acting like that either..â
âDonât cry now Y/n.â
âYup, thatâs me being dramatic. Once again, father knows everything!â
âI know everything! Because I do everything.â
Y/n got up from her spot and walked away from her meal, exhausted from her father. She was beginning to get the strength to just forget pleasing him. Y/n no longer wanted to be her fatherâs golden child, it had gotten so bad heâd even describe her as a burnt out star..
Even when it was visible Y/n no longer wanted to argue, Jake kept pushing and he followed her as she attempted to walk away.
â..cause you donât let me do anything! I could help more if you just let me go!â
Neytiri gasped, fear reaping right out of her. What she feared was true, Y/n did notice how tight Jake held onto her, and she felt suffocated. The true truth was right between her words.
âPlease the both of you are just tired, finish eating.â
âNo Neytiri. Iâm tired of this behavior. Y/n! With the way youâre acting, you are doing the opposite of help!â
Neteyam grew accustomed to taking the siblings out the room when anyone was arguing with father, he knew because itâs what he wouldâve wanted. The most harshest punishments come from their father.
âIâm doing the best I can! What else do you want from me?!â
âI want you to be better! And to maybe spend some time thinking about how youâre effecting this family! I canât keep arguing with you! This year has been a wreak! And it started with you, constantly acting out. You donât get to be sad when you became reckless with the clan when they needed you.!â
Y/n started at her father for a brief moment, she gave her heart a moment to break. The clan meant everything to Y/n and yes, sometimes recently she had denied their demands to stay late and aid within their homes simply because everyone has their moment when they were tired of everything. The face of betrayal came across her face once again..
ââŚyou may tell me how to shoot a gun, or train or who I get to hang out with, but you donât tell me how to grieve my home and clan! Iâm done with this conversation.â
âOh!! Now I get it, this is about your training, that you fell down from!â
âOh my goodness! This has nothing to do with my capabilities! But since weâre on the subject just because I mess up with small details, doesnât mean that I wonât succeed in life! You do not get to tell me that!â
âI get to tell you all of it! Because I made you! Remember that Y/n!â
âYea dadâŚyou made me..okay..thatâs fine..â
Neytiri wanted to cry at seeing her daughterâs shoulder weaken, her posture fall with her tears, and her hair detach from her scalp once again since she had run her hand through it. The volume in her voice got low and cracked, her daughter had accepted defeat in Jakes argument.
The siblings walked back in and watched Y/n walk into a dark corner of the Maui, turning her back to her family..
They sat there and didnât bat a word at Jake, simply gotten used to his behavior and treatment of Y/n. They didnât believe he was right for it, but what can you do when you know sheâs at least fighting for herself? All siblings and mother accepted that she would never change.
Y/n laid there weeping silently, allowing her body to fall into a deep rest she needed badly.
!đ!
HEYYYY HOPE YOU LIKED IT MWAH!!!

{PR DAY ~ sakusa kiyoomi}
MSBY manager!reader my beloved <3
itâs PR Day for the jackals and you, their manager, have the day off. so why is your boyfriend trying so hard to convince you to go with him?
gn!reader, fluff, an attempt at humor, atsumu slander (as much as it pains me, it comes with the territory of writing a fic like this đ) suggestive in some parts. not nsfw at all, but explicit language is used and one conversation surrounds that topic, so read at your own risk <3 also, intentional tense-switch in the beginning!!! and just like the first part, itâs not explicitly mentioned, but reader and atsumu have known each other since high school.
part 1 of the mini-series
managing MSBY came with its ups and downs.
on one hand, you wouldnât have met your boyfriend if it werenât for this job. and you've never laughed as hard as you have been these past three years with coworkers before meeting the current core line up of the jackals.
but on the other? you had three massive fully grown children under your care. four, technically, if they managed to annoy sakusa enough that he stoops to their level of childishness.
which was unfortunately very often.
âŚ
nearly every week.
âŚ
fine, basically everyday.
and ever since your relationship was revealed to the team nearly a year ago, the âtrouble trioâ had been behaving exactly like you expected them to. the whole team was slightly insufferable about it, sure, but atsumu, hinata and bokuto really took it too the next level.
so obviously you really valued your days off.
and today was the first day off youâve had in months. you refused to take off days during the busiest weeks of the season, but today was a PR day.
interviews, promotional videos for the official social media accounts, a livestream or two- all things you were more than happy to leave in the hands of the teamâs PR and social media managers.
the birds were singing, the sunlight was streaming through the bedroom window and a cool breeze could be felt against your skin. the day was calm and you were so excited to relax and do all the things you had planned.
but of course, your hopes are just that.
you see your boyfriend standing in the doorway of your bedroom, looking like he wants to say something. your heart lurches into your throat.
âsoooo,â he starts, not looking directly at you as he moves to the bed and looks at his laid out clothes. youâre already shaking your head before he can say anything else. he ignores this and proceeds to betray you. âif you wanted to tag along today, you could or whatever.â
heâs shameless. he knows how much youâve been looking forward to today.
âkiyoomi. love of my life. my darling. what the fuck?â
he lets out a snort and looks down at you semi-pleadingly- a rare sight. âIâll buy you coffee on the way there.â
oh, heâs bargaining? you smirk. âaww, baby,â you stand up and make your way over to him, dramatically twirling and falling back into him with the back of your hand touching your forehead and the other pressed to your chest. âyou just canât bear to be apart from me, can you?â
the pleading look in his eye fades and he gives you a disgusted look you know he doesnât mean. his arms stay wrapped around you so you donât fall. âyou wish.â
you shrug and move back to your chair, finishing up your morning routine. âhmm I guess Iâll stay here then.â
you enjoy the silence for a moment before he sighs. âfine, two coffees.â
a loud laugh leaves your mouth when he says that. your boyfriend would never put this performance on for anyone else. it was as close to begging as youâd ever get from sakusa kiyoomi.
you shake your head and sigh. âmy love, you know Iâve been looking forward to my day off for so long. why are you so insistent about me going with you?â
suddenly heâs behind your chair and leaning down so his breath tickles your ear. âcoffee and lunch and maybe when we get back I could be convinced to try that thing you were talking aboutâŚâ the words are backed up by a kiss to your jaw and some pointed eye contact through the mirror.
you widen your eyes and search his expression for any trace of a lie.
none.
you cannot believe youâre letting him convince you into this, but the offer is far too good to pass up.
you pretend to mull it over, then meet his eyes in the mirror again. âmake sure the trouble trio donât try to coerce me into working and we have a deal.â
âwell of course, I was going to yell at them if they tried anything like that anyway.â
âperfect, then letâs seal it with a kiss.â
âonly a kiss, baby, I feel your hands wandering.â he pecks your lips quickly and pulls away before you can deepen it.
you pout. âcan you blame me? youâve got me all excited now.â
he shakes his head fondly and straightens up, moving to put the shirt his stylist had insisted upon for the upcoming interviews. you had to hand it to her- she knew exactly what she was doing.
you watch him with hawk eyes and he just turns his head to look at you in amusement. âstop staring at me and get ready, you perv, we have to leave soon.â
as soon as you step into the building where all the other jackals are, youâre bombarded with confused greetings.
âhey, I thought it was your day off?â
âayy, managerâs here! good to see ya.â
âwhat are you doing here? you werenât scheduled for today, were you?â
you sigh and sip your coffee, letting go of sakusaâs hand as you speak to the coach. âno, I wasnât. I was kidnapped and brought here by one of your wing spikers.â
he chuckles and glances over at your boyfriend, who is looking up at the ceiling and avoiding eye contact. âI see. well, if anyone tries to get you to work today, just let me know and Iâll help sakusa put them in their places.â
you smile kindly. âthank you, sir, I appreciate it.â
as soon as he walks away, youâre surrounded by the three people you wanted to see least today.
a long sigh leaves your lips as atsumu, hinata and bokuto stare at you in wonder.
âjust get it over with,â you grumble.
âhow much do ya wanna bet he promised something outrageous?â atsumu.
âwhat, like an all expenses paid vacation?â hinata.
âno, itâs omi-omi, it wouldnât make sense for him to take time off in the middle of game season.â
you roll your eyes at their back and forth and glance over at the man in question, who appears to be glowering. you can almost picture the scowl underneath his mask. âyouâre all idiots,â he states.
âhey! I havenât even said anything yet!â bokuto protests.
âyes, but I can practically hear the gears in your brain grinding.â
âIâll bet itâs a sex thing,â atsumu interrupts just as bokuto is about to defend himself.
you all freeze and stare at him.
your boyfriend, deadly calm, says âmiya, I will skin you alive.â
the blonde, who absolutely loves getting a rise out of sakusa, just smirks. âoh, so Iâm right then?â he turns to you and slings an arm over your shoulder. âtell me, dear manager, what exactly did he have to agree to in order to get ya to show up on your day off?â
you flick his forehead and shake your head disapprovingly. ânone of your business, you freak. just 'cause your dating life isnât going too well right now doesnât mean you can pry into mine. download tinder or something if youâre that bored.â
bokuto and hinata snicker at that, but straighten up quickly when he shoots them a glare. suddenly, meian stalks up behind the three of them and clears his throat.
âif youâre all done terrorizing our manager, our social media team is ready for us now. hurry up.â he nods at you with an apologetic smile and drags atsumu away from you. âsakusa, you too. weâve been waiting for a while now.â
as soon as his teammates walk away and heâs sure theyâre not watching him, he slumps a bit and you notice the tips of his ears have gone red. you smile at him in amusement and pat his cheek, the action only slightly awkward due to his mask.
âaw lighten up, kiyoomi, Iâm used to dealing with atsumu by now. just ignore him, he wouldnât dream of bringing that up again if he knows whatâs good for him.â
he sighs and drops his shoulders, relief washing over him now that he knows youâre not regretting your decision to come with him. he slips off his mask and presses a quick kiss to your lips. âalright. I love you, just enjoy the show.â
you take his mask and walk with him to the rest of the group so that they can start with the promotional videos.
itâs fun to watch, honestly, because the teamâs dynamic does work well for the cameras. theyâre not even playing anything up.
you sit through the promo videos they need to film for upcoming games, the silly one-off fluff questions and the fan asks for their instagram page before theyâre allowed a break.
sakusa stalks over to you with a small scowl and you smile. âyouâre doing great, handsome.â
his expression softens a bit and he offers you a kiss on the forehead. âthank you, darling. care for some lunch?â
you nod and pull him out the door before a certain trio can invite themselves to the impromptu lunch date.
you walk in comfortable silence towards the buildingâs food court before something pops into your mind. âkiyoomi, you never answered my question from earlier.â
he hums in acknowledgment. âand what might that be?â
âwhy were you so insistent on me joining you today?â
he doesnât answer for a moment, but you wait patiently. you know heâs not ignoring you.
finally he sighs and squeezes your hand. âI feel like we havenât been spending much time together lately outside of work⌠and I was hoping that by bringing you with me today weâd be able to have at least some time togetherâŚâ his voice is low, but heâs not shy about it.
you fiddle with the chain around your neck, one he bought for you a while back. "that's very sweet of you, kiyo."
"and..." he hesitates a bit, but you squeeze his hand in return to encourage him. "I feel more relaxed in front of the cameras when you're there."
you melt a little bit. "I'm happy I make you feel that way, kiyoomi. thank you for kidnapping me on my day off, I suppose."
he snorts and you smile. you're about to lean in to pull his mask down for a kiss, but you're interrupted. of course.
"hey, hey, hey! there you guys are! we saw you leaving so figured we'd get lunch with you!"
you honestly don't think you could ever be mad at bokuto, but he is seriously testing your patience right now. not far behind him are atsumu and hinata, one looking smug and the other a bit sheepish. one of them probably brought up your departure to bokuto, either on purpose or accidentally you'd never know.
you sigh and pat sakusa on the back. "yeah, come on. you're all paying for your own, though."
you both ignore the whines of the fully grown children behind you and continue walking hand in hand.

BONUS:
"so this question is directed at sakusa..." atsumu reads the question silently and the team watches as he holds back a laugh.
you watch as your boyfriend narrows his eyes at the blonde in front of him and you sigh. things had been going so well up until now.
itâs past lunch break now, and their social media manager had just given them a box full of printed out tweets with fan questions to answer. she snickers to herself as if she knows which question it is and looks pointedly at you from behind the phone sheâs recording on.
you blink in confusion, but everything is made clear when atsumu opens his mouth again.
âomi-omi, user @/kiyosdear wants to know if youâre single, or if youâre in need of a dog, because theyâre more than willing to bark.â
the social media manager giggles, as does the rest of the team. you feel your eye twitch a bit, but youâre easily able to shove down any possession you feel in the moment.
itâs obviously impossible to ignore so many people vying for his attention all the time, but sometimes it could be a little funny to see how flustered your boyfriend could become from the unwanted attention.
you smile at the small scowl that forms. âno thank you. Iâd want nothing less.â
atsumu snorts at his curt answer and hands the box to him. sakusa picks out a question and reads it to himself before blushing furiously and turning his face away from the camera. you watch curiously as meian looks over his shoulder to see what could have garnered that reaction from him and his eyes trail to you amusedly.
the social media manager looks like sheâs having a field day, zooming in on sakusaâs red face for a moment. itâs not often something flusters him that badly after all. sheâll milk it for all itâs worth.
the captain pries the paper out of your boyfriendâs hand and reads it out loud.
â@/msby_luvr asks, yo @/sakusakiyoomi, is your team's manager single? totally unrelated, @/msbymanager, are you free on thursday?"â
itâs not exactly a secret to the public that thereâs something going on between you two, they just donât know what that something is.
of course neither of you ever confirm or deny anything, but you imagine being asked outright like that is what caught him off guard.
the camera cuts to you, âoffstageâ laughing at the question and shaking your head a little in amusement.
or maybe heâs not shy, but rather jealous?
thatâs kind of sweet.
regardless, you speak up for him, knowing he wouldn't answer. "I am not single, but thanks for asking."
the camera pans back to the team, just in time to catch the tail end of atsumu clapping your boyfriend on the shoulder.
sakusa gives you a small smile, clearly relieved you took over for him, and goes back to focusing on the interview.
hinata, the poor thing, reads the next question. âoh boy⌠@/msbymanager asks, sakusa and atsumu rivals to lovers arc when?â
you cackle as both men whip their heads in your direction, betrayal and incredulity on their faces.
raising your hands, you said to them âin my defence, I was still miffed about being dragged here on my day off when I sent it in!â
atsumu loudly refuted the question and the jeers from his teammates, but that was all drowned out by the look your boyfriend sent your way.
you sighed. you were really in for it later.
