Im too impatient to be an artist <- has spent thousands of hours drawing
#this isnt about not being an artist this is about how LONG it takes to draw#and ive sped up!! a lot!!#i used to spend days on sketching and lining and shading#but then i discovered more flecibke techniques via painting and i lost All of my patience#it’s p great actually i love throwing colours around#but oh boy it anazss me when i watch someone else draw and everythinf is so. clean#you’re redrawing that like 5 times to make it nice??? absolutely insane. i love you#if a painting is LUCKY i will erase the sketch lines#i should work on some one-shade or lineart-only drawings to practice my shapes and lineart but :c#anyway every artist has ungodly power and patience being slow doesnt make you less of an artist#it just means your endurance is scary as fuck and your power is great
