#but now she's somehow relevant here again? because she's pregnant? and so she's being interviewed every day it seems?

BERK ATAN? No, that’s actually EDGAR BONES from the MARAUDERS ERA. You know, the child of ENDER BONES and IRMAK BONES (NÉE KUNDAKÇI)? Only 29 years old, this GRYFFINDOR alumni works as an UNSPEAKABLE and is sided with THE ORDER OF THE PHOENIX. HE identifies as CIS-MAN and is a PUREBLOOD who is known to be RECKLESS, BELLIGERENT, and INTRANSIGENT but also TENACIOUS, JUST, and ASTUTE. — &&. ( CAMI, GMT, SHE/HER, 19. )
Tumblr media
TW: death, child death, blood, alcoholism (vaguely)
yoho guess what, edgar is a reckless idiot who somehow has gotten even more reckless and yall are gonna have to put up with it! he’s also just as likely as harry to name his next kid albus so there’s that tidbit of info. his favourite colour is lilac. now here’s some worse info:
I.
the child of relevant members of wizarding community AND purebloods, things could have gone much differently for edgar, but that’s a fact he’s taken long to comprehend. the role his loving family, that believed in him every step of the way, played is one of love for edgar, but not something he’d, until rather recently, attribute to the way his story goes - not the way his story ends. their values, their love, their care, his siblings; they were truly so important in the makings of him.
irmak and ender were a strong tree, with branches all around him for protection, softening every blow and fall.  their safety and encouragement nurtured a deep desire within him to do whatever he set his mind to, regardless of the consequences. after all, if he tried hard enough, he’d get all of his wishes. as a child, edgar wasn’t learning how to fly a broomstick as fast as his friends and siblings, and he didn’t have any particular wish to take the heights, but his assumed failure only propelled him to try harder. for hours upon hours, he’d lose balance, fall to the ground and then get back up, knees dripping blood. his father found him at dinnertime, taking rounds around the house, conquering for the sake of conquering alone.
that tenacity never left the boy, determining his future within the gryffindor bravado, his push for better grades, his detentions and self-made heartbreaks, all because the riot in him would not let him stand still. hexes and kicks, edgar quickly became known as one not to anger, a likely future brutal auror, given his yearning for justice even after the smallest of infractions, like a group calling a muggleborn slurs after potions class - because the world was his to conquer, should he chose to, and he had nothing else to choose.
entitled, they called him. edgar always prefer to see himself as an idealist instead.
the moral code passed down by his family was instrumental in the shaping of who he became. eddie always knew wrong from right, and that certainty let him see the world as black or white, with no room for the indecisions his classmates exhibited, or the inconsistencies of the ministry, every newspaper headline contradictory with the previous. the world around him seemed to tip toe and edgar knew only how to slam in.
his ways kept him close with a variety of friends, but especially to the other rowdy ones, unafraid to speak their minds and go just far enough to be thrown in detention once more. his ways also cost him the biggest thing he’d been after all of hogwarts: the prefect badge.
II.
becoming an auror had a certain allure to it. an outlet for the flaming energy inside him, and for his yearning for justice, being a source of scenarios in which he could play the detective, a role he so enjoyed. training was brutal, however, and every day passed, his desire to live forever beneath a badge kept diming. edgar’s lack for motivation was noticeable, as if the light in his eyes had purely shut off, and his mates encouraged him to pursue other paths.
politics was out of the question, too grey for him. healing bored him to death (and he was never that great at herbology anyway). eddie considered journalism for a while, but the likely future of a dusty desk at the daily prophet, carrying out their at times sensationalist work, made him not want to read a newspaper ever again. but edgar couldn’t be adrift. he’d made damn sure all his life he was pushing himself to be the very best possible, edgar with a plan, edgar ready to make a dent on the world. to accept defeat would have very easily broken him.
after short stints in ministry offices (from clerk, which lasted all of four days, to secretary, security, forgotten offices who’d hire pretty much anyway with decent grades) he became a hit wizard. his intellect suffered, not through any fault of his coworkers, but due to it being so damn close to auror work, except he couldn't call the shots, not could he investigate, piece together the puzzles like he so loved. in the meantime, he’d sought direction in life elsewhere: that pretty girl from the bar just at the end of his street whose talks of muggle films and news had always kept him for hours, drink in hand, too enthralled to sip. he hated the trickery of politics but he could hear her explaining the iron curtain for hours. anna had stuck around through every change, knowing little of the context of it all. then a little more. and a little more. small breaches of wizard law, small TREASONS. he’d moved in with her, shown her a spell or two. in a few years she was meeting his family, watching his cousins fly in a broom, reading his newspapers with the moving images and scary news of impending conflict. (even marrying the fool, later down the line)
hit wizard work is brutal, and it began to show. despite being an outlet for his inner riot, it put him in vulnerable positions, and anna worried - that simply had to stop. especially when she became pregnant.
to this day, eddie isn’t certain who dropped his name in the department of mysteries - he suspects his father, or perhaps dumbledore, who’d begun seeing him more often (he did enjoy placing pawns in place, not that edgar would acknowledge such a grey-area) - the young man found a letter inside one of his kitchen cabinets. another later that day inside his pocket. he as being summoned, should he wish to go. an interview followed. for hours, edgar sat - lies, he paced around in excitement - solving puzzles, enigmas, philosophical debates; the stuff he left at hogwarts and at auror training. at last, something that brought that light back, filling him with interest. there were no limits, no bureaucratic doors closing - the questions were secret and so were his answers. the puzzle solver was hired the following day, circling through various sub-departments until he got settled doing research on the subject of death a year before the shift of time. the questions that troubled him the most involved immortality and the concept of a chronological finish line. he laughs at that now.
the secrecy of his job was always the hardest part. eddie was never one to keep secrets, especially not when excitement ran through him, and he often spilled results and theories that had been found just because he couldn’t contain his excitement in.
sidenote: he’s a very gestural person. speaking for edgar means moving around, big physical gestures, arms flaying, a proper demonstration.
the conscience instilled in him in the past was raw energy when combined with his entitlement.the very same characteristics were what drew dumbledore to him, with a position in mind. edgar couldn’t say no to a side-job as a revolutionaire.  there, along with his work, was a change to leave something of value behind. plus, he had personal skin in the game then. his future wife was a target, he was a traitor, his children heresy.
eddie had, as well, his experience as a hit wizard, which made him useful for field work. that same bravado and need to fix the world made him devoted with reckless abandon. dumbledore was a figure he worshipped, unable to see the flaws in their own plans. there was no way he could have made himself bigger of a target during the war, especially when it was not nearly as quiet of a fact as it should have been that he was an unspeakable, with access to untold knowledge - especially one his enemies looked for. a traitor who knew too much and was too damn stupid to keep that to himself. edgar was a man with lots to lose living in the shoes of a man with nothing to lose.
that very year brougth another major event besides new career, the order and his first child: the murder of his parents, in the very hosue he’d grown up in, the very hosue his younger sister still lived in. visibly freaking the mold, perhaps even called traitors, the bones were a proeminent thorn in need of ripping out, and edgar got lost in the confusion of the year. he let it fuel him, of course, but he didn’t allow himself to properly grieve, nor to be present for his siblings who also needed to grieve. from a young age he’d been told to walk away if he was angry, to not mix such a horrible feeling and family, and that’s just what he did. the world was broken and it burned him from inside out so he stepped away and dealt with it (poorly) on his own, a decision that came to haunt him the following year once the dust settled. he’d left them, the one promise edgar couldn’t have broken - they’d needed each other and he’d left. not that he’s apologised as of yet, all these years, but the shame of his decision comes to light at times.
III. (the death tw and child death tw applies very heavily in this whole part)
the future comes with many harsh truths to take in. they won, but not really. the world had barely changed, so what was the point of all the sleepless nights, all the wounds he’d healed, all the missions he’d led? what was the point of standing proud in front of the masked foes? what was the point of burying his friends one by one? what was the point of dying as his children cried upstairs?
those were the news that truly shock him. edgar knew he’d get himself killed eventually, even if he did his best to deny it. but reckless, he didn’t think they’d come for anna, or for his three children. he’d set up protections, just in case, of course - wards around the house and portkeys in specific places meant for emergency escapes - but how could have expected a terrified seven year old to remember where they kept the music box that would take her to grandma’s house? the futility of it all hit him like a wave.
edgar dug in as soon as he learned, damned be the questions his line of work had taught him to ask. time didn’t matter, not at all. what did was the bloodshed his story told. which friends wouldn’t have made it either. his sister, who’d survive only to have to fight the same war again, with worst odds. himself. his family. a bottle of firewhiskey next to the folders he’d gotten from ministry friends and connections. both vices, drinking and learning the painful details of the truth, were self-destructive tendencies he’d thought he’d long escaped. perhaps that was the bones curse, to always crawl back to whatever wrecked them even more in times of hurt.
every newspaper article, trial transcript and even the crime scene photographs he chased hell and below to get his hands on. it was addictive, to learn exactly how much he could blame himself, how much he could blame the war, and who he should exert vengeance on. by now, he knows how to draw a timeline of the event better than any auror on the case, minute by minute, victim by victim, player by player; as he obsessed over it for the first week and a half, non-stop.
they’d followed him for days, believing him to be a way to the prophecies they searched, or to answers they might seek. and to take down a traitor. a rebel traitor at that. he’d been too blind to notice. they’d chipped slowly at his wards. they’d broken in one wednesday night, at dinner time, shortly before anna and the children had gotten home. edgar didn’t see them there when he put away his coat, when he saw the bags of takeout on the kitchen counter, when he asked the eldest, dahlia, if she had homework to do. like rats in the walls.
he’d died downstairs. edgar broke a chair against the wall when he learned. he’d died downstairs, hand reaching up, head rested on the second step. after short but brutal torture, in which he seemed to have revealed more secrets than most whistleblowers, he still died downstairs, his moral sacrifice for nothing - but he was probably desperate, he thought, desperate to reach up, where anna, dahlia, oscar and oliver hid, from where he heard his son yell for him, from where he heard the toddler cry, from where he eventually heard anna scream in horror. even if he’d died upstairs too, he just wanted to be there, the last barrier between the world he’d brought upon his family and them. no matter how much furniture and vases she threw at death eaters, anna came to a wand fight ill prepared, and she was the first to go. the small one in her arms too. oscar followed, holding a shoe - it was the wrong one, the portkey shoe just a meter away. and edgar tried to run, to climb, but he remained downstairs, not nearly as close. dahlia was later, he read, assumingly because she was the hardest to find - underneath a bed.
three weeks. that’s all he had until then. if the time shift had happened three weeks later, he’d be dead.
the aftermath was a mess. muggle neighbours heard yelling and called the police while aurors arrived, but not soon enough to stop the confusing murder of a whole household from hitting local news. in 2029, it’s a cold case, has been for decades. but edgar had learned the truth wizardkind knew and he let him fuel him. after darkness, he bounced back with the flaming hope that made him join the order: he could change things. if he tried hard enough, harder than LAST time. if he just worked hard enough, edgar could fix this and forget there’s a grave with his name - but he can’t. ever since it happened, he visits it nearly weekly. it was looking old, nearly forgotten, like the world had moved on without him, without his family, without amelia, without his fallen revolutionary friends. he’s cleaned them up, put some flowers on them. you see, this time he’s actually a man with nothing to lose, nothing he hasn’t lost before.
no amount of puzzle solving can erase the fact that he should not exist right now - edgar feels very much alive, perhaps more than ever before, now that blinding rage courses through him and now that the past is past and he has nothing to lose by trying a new timeline. but another him, just a few WEEKS older, is bone and dirt beneath a tombstone in his hometown, so now he searches for answers.
edgar is driven by the riot in his head, still very much the son of the revolution, even if his war ended forty-eight years ago.
NOW who’s ready for some character paralels? shadow moon (american gods), luke bankole (handmaids tale), meredith grey (grey’s anatomy), steven crain (thohh), elijah bradley (marvel), quentin coldwater (the magicians), sabrina spellman (tcaos), jessica jones (mcu) ?????

Owner screws me over, screws up(s) his business.
To start, I won’t be saying the name of the shipping company franchise I worked for, suffice to say the title is very telling. This is a rather long story, so buckle in. You can skip the backstory and look for the revenge near the bottom. TL:DR at the end.
The Backstory
About five or six years ago I was relatively new to the workforce, having worked one minimum wage job at Mickey D’s. I had been there almost two years, but had little experience elsewhere. Well this one lady always came through early every morning to order a large Diet Coke, and would take a few minutes to talk to me. I mentioned to her that I was displeased with my bosses and the working conditions, and she invited me to come apply for a job at Not FedEx because they were always running low on employees! That should have been my first red flag.
The second red flag went completely over my head, because at this point I was 17 with no previous job experience. When I walked in for an interview, the boss (who I will call Jeph, because it sounds close enough to his name to allow him to remain anonymous) told me it would take five minutes. I wasn’t asked about my relevant experience, my goals within the company, or even told what position I was applying for. I assumed all interviews were different and went along with it, and started the next week with training. Everything went well for the first month. I basically just packed boxes, took down customer information, and sorted mail into the mailboxes we managed. The real trouble started after I was given my one month performance review.
I was deemed to be a valuable asset to Jeph’s franchise, and rightfully so. At 17 I was able to lift more and work better than the 20 and 30 something employees, and due to the work ethic my parents drilled into me I was never slacking off while at work. I was then informed that I would be swapping between Jeph’s two franchises, roughly 30 miles apart. (For context, the franchise I APPLIED TO WORK AT was roughly a mile from my house, so I could walk if I couldn’t get a ride.) Every other day I had to drive out to the location and somehow justify this with my slightly above minimum wage job. ($7.50 for those not in Texas.)
Overall my boss was a massive douche. His physical appearance could best be described as “troll like” with a shirt almost bursting, the top always undone to showcase his aging chest hair, and a face not unlike that of A&F owner Mike Jeffries. He openly cheated on his wife, bragging to coworkers about it constantly. He charged people one dollar for any amount of extra tape they needed on their package, despite the fact that we got roughly two rolls for that price in bulk. He had a special price calculator installed on the computers that charged people roughly 10% more than the package would be elsewhere. He would push employees (who he insisted didn’t work in customer service but sales) to never offer anything less than three day shipping even though we offered standard 7+ days and even cheaper options. I watched him actively lie to customers, claiming it was the price they had to pay blah blah blah, and almost yell at them to go to another store if they didn’t like it. But I digress.
Now here was the first dickish thing that my boss did to me specifically. Until this point, I was only working around 20 hours. After I graduated to working at both stores, Jeph had me sign a brand new W-2 for his second store, which was under a different company. (He owned both, naming one Blue (name for a .44 caliber bullet) and Blue (proper name for visible light)). Again, I had very little idea that this wrong because I had never had to deal with this before. He proceed to add another 20 or so hours to my schedule, bringing me up to 40 hours or more. But since I worked for two separate companies I never earned a dime of overtime or benefits of any kind.
At this point, I started accruing more and more duties, as my boss and coworkers started to trust me more and more. Buy my fourth month of employment (out of a total of eight) I was performing managerial duties such as: opening the store, counting the registers, closing the store, ordering product such as boxes and tape, and preparing shipments for transport. The work alone justified a raise, not to mention the hours I was being asked to work. However when I floated this idea by my boss, he very rudely insisted that since he had a manager for each store already, I was just doing my job and couldn’t earn a cent more.
Then came the second dickish move. We had a large company contract some drop off stuff with us, a telecom company we will say rhymes with Hey Tea and Tea. Customers would bring in their old cable boxes, wires, remotes and the like, and we would scan them and ship them back to Hey Tea and Tea, the company THAT LEGALLY OWNED ALL OF THIS HARDWARE. The customers would not pay us a nickel, but the telecom company would pay almost double what it actually cost to ship the package. There is no way Jeph could look that gift horse in the mouth and decide he was still owed the stable and all the horse’s tack as well, right? Surprise, surprise, Jeph had to take it one step further. ANY and ALL parts/cables/WiFi adapters/USB drives the customer returned to us that didn’t have a scan tag on them, Jeph would pull aside and either strip for copper or sell on eBay. And he would force us, the employees to package his eBay sales or copper wiring into boxes and ship them for him. He even popped batteries out of remotes and recycled them somewhere to get a tax credit. None of his employees ever saw a penny of this money (not that I would have accepted it). We estimated he raked in roughly three to four thousand a month just from stealing alone. For those of you bad at math, that is the price of TWO brand new 2018 Honda Civics.
The Revenge
The third (and fourth) final dick moves are what solidified my hatred for this boss, and my desire to strike back. They both came in the same week, roughly the same time, and both viscerally repulsive. My favorite coworker had recently gotten pregnant, and although the father got the hell out of dodge when he found out, she was doing very well for herself. She and I frequently closed together, and she promised she would bring the baby to sit in the back for the dull hours we had to kill from 6-10. We also had an annual store review from corporate that week, so our boss called a late night meeting after we closed one day. Our boss started out by saying that he was proud of our pregnant coworker for working so hard even with her “disability.” (Yes, even his sense of humor was slimy.) Then, in front of all fifteen employees, HE FIRED HER. He told her that because the Christmas season was coming up, and she would only slow down the store being pregnant and all, he had to let her go.
After she left, hatred seething in her eyes, he turned back to the fourteen of us who were left stunned, and continued on like nothing had happened. He proceeded to tell each of us our jobs for this weekend, leaving mine for last. My job, because I used to drive a decently sized mini van, was to ferry the corporate required supplies, cash for the safe, and OUR ONE WORKING FIRE EXTINGUISHER between the two stores while he kept corporate distracted between visits.
At this point I had taken enough shit from this guy, and I formulated my plan. I started by calling the Hey Tea and Tea fraud department, and telling them everything I knew. I took pictures and emailed them directly to the rep I was talking to, who seemed a little too excited about fraud being committed. I then scheduled a visit from a Hey Tea and Tea rep at the same time corporate was supposed to show up. My next step was to call Not FedEx and explain exactly what I just told y’all, with a few extra things thrown in that I couldn’t share for privacy reasons. They promised to send a rep as well, to the same store, at the same time.
The final step was put into action that Saturday. I dutifully loaded up my van with the supplies, cash (upwards of $4000 if I remember correctly), and fire extinguisher, and headed out. Except I did the exact OPPOSITE of what Jeph wanted. I took the crap to the first store he owned, which was the second one to receive a visit. After he texted the team saying they were moving on, I packed up all the shit and drove it to the other store they just left. Now I am unsure exactly what happened at the other store, but from some coworkers I pieced together that the Not FedEx rep showed up right after I left, but didn’t stay long, and the Hey Tea and Tea rep showed up just before Jeph had arrived and had time to hide his ill gotten gains in his office. The one coworker who was close enough to the office during the corporate meeting said there was lots of angry words being thrown and threats being made towards Jeph and his position as a franchisee. He also lost his franchises the ability to ship for Hey Tea and Tea, at least for a period of time.
Regardless, the very next day I was off because I was (and as cliché as this sounds I swear to God it’s true) helping my grandfather who just got out of the hospital. I receive a call from Jeph, saying I needed to come in right away, and work a double shift as well as close the store. I told him I couldn’t do that, and I was taking a personal day. He fired me right then and there, citing my usage of the work computer to run a photoshop business during work hours. (I’m assuming he was referring to the graphic design work I did FOR HIM, FOR FREE, which he asked me to learn how to do.)
The sad epilogue to this whole story is that he is currently still in business, and still running the same scams he was before. He WAS however fined for not having proper supplies in his stores, as well as forced to use corporate’s package rates rather than his own. So in some small way my revenge worked. He currently has a two star review on Yelp for both of his his businesses, and I hope to have a party outside his store one day when it goes belly up.
TL:DR: Boss is a total douche bag to me and customers, steals from a contract company, fires a pregnant woman for “slowing down the store” then gets his ass reamed by corporate and loses the major contract.

I do understand how Aaron accepting the baby can facilitate the reunion. But I can't get how it can help Aaron and Robert to sort out their problems. It will prove once again that Aaron has a heart of gold and nothing else. But it's supposed to be about Robert, his redemption and growth.
This is sadly not directly an answer, cause my issues with this Sl are just super complex and we are not at the end yet. But here are my thoughts on the SL and the Baby, they are super rambly, and maybe a bit more negative, then I want them to be:
What direction this SL is taking depends really on what this SL was actually about.
1. Showing the weaknesses of the relationship - Underlining all the problems, fixing them and bringing them back together stronger and healthier (healthier is reaching, that was never in the promise of the SL, but we can hope)
OR
2. Facilitating the robecca baby, adding a legacy character3. YIKES, 1. + 2.
The negativity steams mostly from the fact, that this SL burned us over and over again. Robert promised six months he wouldn’t cheat. ED went out if their way linking cheating directly to his bisexuality (It was not “Robert, we were an affaire, you already cheated on Chrissie with me and she was all you wanted! And you cheated on Katie!” it was “Just because I am bi, doesn’t mean I am gonna cheat on you” “No one else comes close” and all that)
Then the cheating happened in the LEAST “I want to cheat and can’t help myself”-way possible. Which is odd in itself, cause this is not about Robert cheating? But about Robert using people? Why add the baby? A direct consequence to his infertility? And make this the main focus of everything?
When the fandom was raging and angry about the ruined bi-rep… all we got was “yeah that’s Robert’s character… he is despicable since birth” “him cheating had nothing to do with being bi” “we agreed that it’s now the time for Robert to cheat on his partner” (I don’t have the original quotes, but this is the gist of it)
And of course she got pregnant, and the first time she even EVER mentioned she was thinking of wanting a child, was after the ONS, which is already pretty horrible, considering, she was most likely brought in to be their incubator. (They could have made her baby friendly from the start, to idk add this aspect to her character, but no?)  Then ED retconned the first abortion, to make sure she stays pregnant, caused by trauma, that old!Robert inflicted on her.
Everything back then felt so manipulative and awful to watch. And ED was silent, we didn’t get any interviews, where this was supposed to be going… So this horror co-parenting scenario was born in the fandom-head (xD) That Rebecca would be linked to them forever, that the baby is the constant reminder of the cheating (etc.)
IM then promised, that after the reveal we would all know where this SL was heading,... which we did… for one day, but then the bathroom scene happened, where Aaron quoted word for word the fandom fears back to us (Yay ED, thanks for keeping taps)
But still, ED went ahead with the pregnancy, cause this was all just to get Robert into the White orbit. And this is why I can totally understand, that people just… reject this baby. It was a tool from the start, it was this horrible plot device to split the couple up, that we were rooting for - in the most horrible and hurtful way: Including self harm, attempted drug use, violence, lying, wrench throwing.
Nothing about this baby at is core seems like it’s there to give Robert a child or even to face his issues with his father. (let his character grow) If you boil it down, it’s just there to open the doors to home farm and make sure to keep Robert and Aaron apart. (This might change after Sebastian is born)
And this is where its gets tricky.
Was ED always aiming for Nr.1.? Facing and dealing with their issues as a couple - This baby/The Situation has to go/ be resolved at the end of it, cause it’s not meant to be a price to be obtained for being good boys. The reunion, and getting back together and being a family (roblivion) again, was/is the price.
Robert could even still be the father in this scenario, just Rebecca would leave with the baby in the end, or who ever is still standing of the White family.
Was ED aiming for Nr.2, they can just about do anything. Bend everything the way they want to. They never actually wanted to fix anything between them, just add the baby. They could even have Rebecca after ALL the schemes come out, drive with her tiny car to the mill, get out, “Aaron, I can’t do this anymore, I can’t live with this child one more day, he is a reminder of all the lies Robert told!” *hand over Sebastian* *camera goes up* “Take care of him for me, I have to sort my own live out, DJing in Ibiza! See you never!!!” *gets in the car, drives away*
This is like… the worry that people have, that it doesn’t need to make sense, or respect the characters involved. Cause this SL already broke Rebecca… she is not her own character anymore. Even Victoria fans have trouble seeing where she is actually coming from in her overly supportive way towards the baby, never a second thought for her brother or oldest friend.
1.+ 2.
This mess, where they would deal with the their issues, reunite them, but ALSO let Robert end up with the child somehow. Is just such a horror, regarding Rebecca. She really was just the walking womb, adding some drama to be relevant until her exit and leaves her child behind. Why EVER she would do that?? But ED can be very surprising, if they want to be.
PLUS it would just be so disrespectful to Aaron. It was like, the last hurt, that Gordon caused. The unresolved issues at the end of the abuse SL, lead to Kasim, lead to Aaron being in prison, lead to him being cheated on… and now he has to accept this baby in order to be with the man he wants to be.
And ED would play on the fact that Aaron is just this nice of a person. This big hearted person, that could accept this innocent life, take him in and raise him as his own, always reminded in the back of his head, that his husband cheated three weeks after marriage, cause he couldn’t take an argument, that they had, while Aaron was at his lowest.
In this scenario Robert would sort of… get his reward for finally sorting his head out and being less Robert. Which is also a very awful message. Give Robert a son and Aaron some more scars.
This is back to your question, what about Roberts growth? I have absolutely no clue. Aaron at the moment now, doesn’t want Robert back, cause of the baby. What has to change (assuming the baby will stay) ED had to change Aaron (urgh) reverting his growth, him putting someone else (Sebastian) above himself and his own wellbeing again (my personal worst case scenario).
Nothing here shows any change in Robert (that is not directly linked to Aaron yet)... we sort of have a hint that Robert might get punished for what he does now, but how will he change and grow? Cause him accepting the baby and wanting to be a father is making sure that Aaron stays away (at least this is what ED shows us atm + (SPOILERS: Robert bonding with his son is happening very soon after the birth anyway)) What else can Robert do? Reject the baby? That is not what Aaron wants at all, he wants him to be a dad and involved... So something has to happen from outside, to fix this and push this into another direction.
I just hope this makes sense at the end, that all the wobbly things happening along the way where there for a reason, not just smokescreens to keep us watching and hoping for a better ending.

PLL Questions
@welcometorosewood posted this and I would like to answer what I can. I hope this helps. I don’t mean this to be sarcastic I just really wanted to help answer where I could:
 Plot Holes/unanswered questions:
1. What was the point of the puzzle pieces of the puzzle image meant nothing? The image wasn't necessarily important it was just the code for the augmented reality. Alex just wanted to make it a game to torture the liars.

2. How was that not related to Archer or Bethany Young’s drawings? See answer to question 1

3. Speaking of which, how is Bethany not more relevant to this? Because her degrees of separation got bigger meaning Alex had no attachment to her, CeCe hated her and Mona just knew she was involved. She was a mean girl with a big mouth who got in the way.

4. If Bethany isn’t relevant then what does this picture that Marlene posted from the finale mean? Is she just a bad speller? I'm not sure what you are referring to here so unfortunately I can't answer very sorry!
5. Why impregnate Ali with Emily’s eggs? What was the point of that? It's one of the worse ways of violating somebody. It took the decision to get pregnant out of Alison's hands and forced Emily to watch her friend/girlfriend go through this while thinking it wouldn't have happened if she hadn't donated

6. Why was a Melissa mask necessary? Here I just believe it was in case any of the girls caught Mona she could run off.

7. What was the point of holding Ezra captive? Aria getting married breaks up the group. So Ezra running away keeps them all together. Plus he started figuring out Alex wasn't Spencer and if he told Aria, Alex's plan was ruined

8. Why did A.D. favor Aria so much and pull her to the dark side? Aria asked to go to the dark side. This gave Alex so much control over her.

9. Also Alex climbed in bed next to Aria and said she would love her the most. Why did she have such a soft spot for Aria? Probably because she thought they had a bond once Aria joined the dark side

10. If Wren broke out Mona from Welby, then when was he killed? Didn’t we just see him at the airport? Mona was put in Welby after the events of 7x19 so Alex killed him sometime during the year jump for 7x19 to 7x20
.
11.Why did Alex kill him? He wasn't being agreeable with the plan any more. So he wasn't worth keeping around.

12. Was Melissa ever even in this episode or was that Mona? If not, where is she? In the very beginning when she asks Spencer to move out of the barn that's Melissa the Melissa in the hood is Mona

13. What the point of this picture of a burned person? I liked the fan theory better than the actual ending in which Bethany was burned during the Jenna Thing and that gave her more motive. Again I don't know what you are referring to I'm sorry!
14. What was the purpose of Ali and Bethany being pen pals? Ali saw it as leverage over her mother. Bethany saw it as leverage over them. They were both emotional.

15. What purpose did Sara Harvey serve and why make her both Red Coat and Black Widow? She is a puppet. Because it's confusing and makes it hard to figure out who is hurting you.

16. What was the point of Bethany’s drawings? It shows her twisted mindset

17. What was the relevance of the Carissimi group again? Wasn’t Jason involved somehow? No Jason wasn't involved. The Carissimi group was basically a way for Jessica to get money from her accounts to CeCe. It's like the cover companies crime gangs will make money hard to track

18. And how did Jenna and Noel become involved? They decided that the girls deserved to be punished and got in too deep they were disposable to Alex. Jenna wanted to see so she help
ed Alex for the money did her job, got the money didn’t see and that was it.
19. Why were Alex and Mary Drake both at the blind school in 7x10 but they were playing for opposing sides? Who shot Spencer?
Alex shot Spencer. They were playing two different games.
20. At what point did Wren and Melissa break up and he met Alex? The timeline seems off.
Wren and Melissa broke up sometime around CeCe revealing that she was A.
21. What was the point of Lucas’ comic book? Why was this never mentioned again? It’s something they find it shows CeCe’s mindset. It starts the development that maybe CeCe couldn’t be cured. The comic itself didn’t matter just the mindset CeCe was in

22. What was Ian filming? Who was beach hottie? What was the point of NAT club?
Which time? I’m not sure which video you are referring to. Beach hottie was Wilden. Marlene mentioned in an interview recently that the NAT club was simply boys who decided to film people without them knowing as a power trip. They grew out of it but when the videos started getting ouot they started getting into trouble i.e. Garrett
23. Why did Jessica DiLaurentis tell Bethany to call her aunt?
Honestly who know Jessica was super sketchy she may have just been trying to get Bethany to trust her.
24. Why would CeCe dress as Charles in the dollhouse if she’s transgender now? To confuse the girls. They were so sure it was a boy so she played along so she still got her reveal.

25. How did Cece and Sara Harvey meet?
It’s never specifically said. I’m assuming that just sometime between Mona losing the game that she met Sara.
26. Who killed Sara Harvey? Noel? Yes Noel killed her it was revealed in 7x12

27. What’s the significance of all the pie references? And pretty eyes?
The diner was famous for its pie. It’s just something to tell Mona where to meet without giving it away completely. I don’t know what you are refering to with pretty eyes specifically.
28. In a flashback a few seasons ago, Ali comes into Spencer’s house with a bloodied lip and tries to hide it. Who did that to her? In the same interview where she talked about NAT, Marlene mentioned that it was the college students Ali would hang out with. It was to show Ali isn’t as grown up as she thinks

29. What was the purpose of Sydney? How did she and Alex meet?
Through Jenna, She was just a puppet.
30. Why were so many people wearing yellow tops that night?
Bethany trying to be Ali Cece also being Ali and and Ali.
31. Who did Spencer hear scream back in the pilot episode?
Ali when Garrett swung at her with a hockey stick i think but dont forget Spencer is drugged out of her mind .
32. Why is the number 214 constantly brought up? It was several hotel numbers, it was the locker number that Aria used, it’s been seen several times over the course of all the seasons.
Honestly I didn’t even notice that! (But I watched Bones for years and didn’t notice 445 until the end either). Sorry!
33. How did Alex create this board game? How was she everywhere at once? She very smart apparently or she had help

34. Why doesn’t she have more motive against Mary Drake who sold her when she was a baby? She wants a family and Mary is family.

35. Back a few seasons ago, there was a scene where they police had suspects written on a chalkboard. Why was “Dr” Wren in quotations? Is he really a doctor?
They may have been looking into if he really was a doctor, but as far as we have been told he is in fact a doctor.
36. Why did Bethany have Melissa’s riding helmet?
 Jessica gave it to her.
37. Why did Eddie Lamb recognize Aria in Radley?

38. Was Spaleb real or was that Alex?
No that was Spencer. Unfortunately (sorry I thought Spaleb was weird)
39. Did Alex kill Yvonne?
Technically yes since she messed with Toby’s truck and ran them off the road.
40. Who built the dollhouse?
 Charlotte
41. Why was Noel helping with the dollhouse? Because he believed the girls should be punished

42. What was the point of all the Alison masks? Masks are creepy. I really think thats what they were banking on.

43. What did Maya know? She knew Ali was alive

44. What is the exact timeline of the night Ali “died”?
Alison stoleIan’s NAT videos as leverage after he dumped her at Hilton Head. She came home from where she had been hooking up with Ian after Melissa showed up with NAT videos in tow. The girls separate with plans to meet that night. Ali goes to visit Jenna in the hospital. Ali goes to Emily and gives her the snowglobe with the key to the storage locker. The girls meet for the sleepover. Ali drugs them and goes to meet Toby who thanks her for not releasing the video of him and Jenna. Then Ali visits Ezra tells him he can’t get in trouble because they didn’t have sex and Ezra breaks up with her. Then Ali meets up with Ian. Then Jenna, Garrett and Ian break into Alison’s room for the NAT videos. Jenna and Garrett leave and run into Ali in the yard and Garrett “hits” her with the hockey stick. Then Ali meets Spencer and realizes she is on speed (ADD meds). Then she meets Mr. Montgomery and tries to blackmail him. Then she meets CeCe. Then she gets knocked out and buried, then saved by Grunwald. Then Melissa kills Bethany and buries her where Ali was. Finally Ali tells Mona how not to be loser Mona before running off. Whew! Busy night!
45. What was the relevance of Melissa’s suitcase handle if that wasn’t a murder weapon? A misleading “clue”

46. What was the point of Garrett?
Part of the whole Ali/CeCe mess
47. Who did Noel push down the stairs at that party and why? At UPenn? if you mean that they never explain why but Noel is like a sociopath so who knows.

48. Who put the blood in Spencer’s bag during her interview at Oxford? CeCe

49. Why were Shana and Jenna afraid of Melissa?
 I’m honestly not sure
50. Who sent Toby the text about his mom?
 CeCe
51. Who drove a car into Emily’s house? CeCe

52. Why was Wren seen coloring a picture of a woman in a red coat?
It was just a clue that he was part of this whole mess
53. Why would Elliot hold such a grudge against Ali if he knew all along Ali didn’t kill CeCe and that she was trying to help her?
Because he spent however long hearing what a monster Ali was from CeCe he wanted to punish her
54. Also, doesn’t my theory that Elliot is really Wren make more sense since he stole someone’s identity any way?
I haven’t read the theory you are referring to so I don’t know
55. Did Elliot and Wren know each other before meeting Charlotte and Alex? If they did it isn’t mentioned

56. What happened to Marco Fury?
I hope he left the police mess that is Rosewood.
57. What was the significance of the apple farm where Charles supposedly had a connection to Andrew?

58. Who was Leslie Stone? What was her purpose and why did she have multiple pairs of glasses?

59. Who knows about Twincer? Do Peter and Veronica know? Does Melissa know?
From the beginning no. I assumed Spencer told them after.
60. How did Jenna regain her vision and then lose it again? Sometimes surgerys like that fail. They work and then over time fade. A lot of surgeries to restore sight right now are experimental and just dont work out

61. Why was Spencer shot if Alex didn’t intend to kill her? I’m not sure.

62. How did they catch Aria on that New Hampshire traffic cam?
 I bet a hacking job from A.D.
63. What did Melissa whisper to Peter when they were being questioned at the police station? We never find out

64. Did we ever find out why Bethany killed Toby’s mom? Nope

65. Who was Varjack? CeCe

66. What was with all the literary references? They just enjoyed them the different ways to play with it.

67. When did Charlotte visit an Amish farm with Archer when she was in Radley? What was the timeline of when she got out of Radley? It’s chaotic and confusing and there isn’t a completely mapped out timeline like with Ali’s disappearance.

68. What happened to the Alison bracelet? Wasn’t Bethany wearing it when she died? Why?
 She may have stole it.
69. Why exactly was Pastor Ted brought back to be Charlotte’s dad? That’s something only the writer can answer.

70. Was the cop in the finale really Mona’s boyfriend in Paris and that’s why she was able to keep them as dolls? I believe so but I have to watch again to really see.

71. Also how was Toby’s mom in the flashback with him and Ali when they were teenagers if she was killed when Charlotte was a kid and Charlotte is older than Toby? PLOT HOLE
. You hit it on the head that was a plot hole.
73. What was Paige’s role in this?
She got sucked in as Ali’s victim and Emily’s gf
74. What’s with all the piano playing?

75. How were the Emison twins blue eyed and blonde hair when Emily and Wren are the parents? Honestly I think that is just it is so freaking hard to find specific looking babies for casting. It is rough because some babies are just born with light hair and eyes and they darken as they get older its insane.

76. Will Emison ever know who their baby daddy is?
They may or they may not care who knows
77. What did the anagram or whatever “Miss Aria you’re a killer and not Ezra’s wife mean”?
 Maya Knew
78. What happened in Cape May?Jason and CeCe dated and Wilden and Ali slept together.

79. What happened to Tippi the bird? It’s probably dead

80. How did they make a mold of Wilden’s face if Wilden has been dead for a while now? They probably had it from the get go but I’m not sure
