Some of Baji's mischaracterization that gives me the ICK

It's 2024 and there are people out there who still can't understand Baji's character and mischaracterize him heavily, mostly because of the Bajifuyu ship.

DISCLAIMER: You can ship whoever you want. I'm just tired of seeing my favourite character constantly being mischaracterized because of toxic shippers. Also I'm not a shipper myself, I do not romanticize any of the relationships I mention below.

The biggest issue with Baji's character is the fact that Bajifuyu shippers (and sometimes just the fandom in general) constantly ignore Kazutora's role in Baji's life, meanwhile Kazutora made a huge impact on Baji's character. You can clearly see it not just in the anime or in the manga, but in the spin-off too.

Baji and Kazutora were that duo, they were a literal separated team within Toman. They met naturally, become friends instantly and spent most of their time together (many times without Toman). It's accepted by the fandom, that Kazutora's first real friend was Baji, but also Baji's first close friend was Kazutora.

Obviously Mikey and Baji were close as kids, but after Baji moved to a different place they weren't that close. I bet this is the reason why Baji didn't know about Shinichiro's bike shop, since when they met regularly Baji was a little kid and Shinichiro was a teenager without a bike shop. It also shows that Mikey and Baji aren't that close, they are more like childhood buddies than close friends.

I can talk about this for hours but now I only wrote it as a small disclaimer, before I get into my points, so let's go.

I am sick of it when:

they call Baji stupid (he literally outsmarted Kisaki, being smart not equals only book smart)

people headcanon him as a mean, aggressive, abusive bf (he is canonly no.1 best lover and he literally died because he has a heart of gold, let this bs go pls)

they can't understand the reason behind his suicide and make it a ship war (ICK)

people can't accept the fact Baji loves his friends differently, and not everyone is his bestie (it doesn't mean he does not love them, or prefers someone over the other but love can be different towards different people and it's absolutely normal!)

they make his character all about Bajifuyu (he is an individual, stop bringing up Chifuyu EVERYTIME when it comes to Baji. His character is much more than a guy in a dominant-submissive fanmade yaoi ship people like dragging him into!)

they make Chifuyu the good, perfect friend while constantly dragging Baji down and made him the bad guy in their relationship (I could write a whole essay just about this being a bullshit)

when they romanticize Bajifuyu (Baji canonly sees Chifuyu as a younger brother figure said by Baji's mom, but there are people out there who still believes unironically that they are in love... WHY?)

they ignore that Baji is very caring and affectionate not just towards Chifuyu, he is like this because these are his own personality traits. He behaves like this with everyone who's close to him. (Mikey, Kazutora, Ryuusei and just Toman in general)

people say Chifuyu was the only one who understood Baji's feelings and aims (the literal reason Baji died was because no one really understood his goals and behaviour, not even Chifuyu)

they romanticize Chifuyu's obsessiveness towards Baji (if Chifuyu was a girl, he would be cancelled for this behaviour immediately, but the double standard won again)

people make his death an opportunity to romanticize Bajifuyu (biggest ICK)

they say Baji is only distant with Chifuyu beacuse he is a tsundere (there are so many situations when Chifuyu truly annoys Baji, e.g. he said it many times that Chifuyu's infatuation really disturbs him and asked Chifuyu to stop)

Bajifuyu shippers ignore and hate Kazutora just because he disturbs their ship

they say Baji was a bad influence to Kazutora (Kazutora hung out with gangs even before he met Baji, he was already a part of the underworld. the reason Kazutora turned out that way was his abusive father and his horrible childhood in general. Baji literally saved him, and he could finally be himself around Baji without any judgement or harassment)

they ignore or even DENY Bajitora's bond because of Bajifuyu

they accept Bajifuyu, Kazufuyu or even the Bajitrio but HATE Bajitora (the biggest bullshit ever)

they can't recognise the fanservice of Bajifuyu and calls them canon because of the clear fanservice acts

people think Bajitora is one sided (more Baji sided) meanwhile Tora loves Baji more than his own life and shows it many times how much he loves Baji and how much Baji means to him

they accept that Chifuyu never changed his hairstyle after Baji made it for him (and obviously they romanticize it) but they are hating because Kazutora looked exactly like Baji in bad toman timeline

people ignore Bajitora and always forgets that they are very close to each other in every timeline. the new panels Wakui drew were also about Kazutora putting Chifuyu to his place after Chifuyu completly ignored Tora and disturbed his time with his best friend. (we all know Kazutora is very possessive with Baji for obvious reasons and does not tolerate being disrespected by someone)

The list could go on and on but these are the main problems I still see in this fandom when it comes to Baji's character.

I'm tired of seeing this amazingly well-written character turns into a boring, abusive, mean guy by the fandom who is only an abuser in a toxic fanmade yaoi ship.

SIDE NOTE:

To all the people who dislike him/call him mean and aggressive because he beat Chifuyu up:

This anime is based on a manga which takes place in the early 2000's gangster world in Japan. He is the captain of the 1st division, he is the leader, and his role is not just to be the strongest in the division but also to manage his team, bc this is also what a leader does. If someone is disrespectful, breaks the rules and shows a bad example to the others he has to punish them. In this world this is how things go. This won't make him a bad person, or an aggressive jerk. Baji can be very calm and collected when it comes to leading his division. He is a very good leader, who takes care of his teammates, so no surprise he is really loved by his division. 

Also when he beat Chifuyu up before joining Valhalla: he hated himself for doing that. But he had to, he had no other choice. And Chifuyu had every right to stand up against Baji and tell him he's not doing it. But since Chifuyu never questions Baji's decisions as the captain of the first division he agreed with this one too, and also because he wanted to help him. Chifuyu knew exactly what he was doing when he let Baji doing this to him, and he went along with it. Stop bringing this up everytime and use it against Baji.

You gotta be more specific, brother. I have 400,000 headcanons for this ship at this point lol. I can probably sit here for 5 days minimum mapping out their entire relationship, both the SFW and NSFW side (again, I am a very dangerous person in my free time. No one ever succeeded in curbing my overactive imagination growing up and now look where I'm at lol)

I don't want to leave you hanging, of course. So I'll give you two, a long one and a short one:

Cheese Gang took some time to accept their relationship. Mozzarella came around first (and relatively quickly; framing it as a gamble Golden Cheese was making with regards to both her own heart and Burning Spice's character and integrity helped her rationalize and come to terms with it), and took on the role as relationship counselor/advice giver as she considers GC a sister and wants her to be happy, but mindful of her choices. Burnt Cheese was not happy; it was perhaps the first time he ever truly doubted his queen's judgment. But he has to trust her and what she thinks is right, both as her subordinate and as her friend... so he doesn't get in their way, and even comes to accept them eventually, but he always has his eye on BS just in case. Smoked Cheese was against this from day 0 and has repeatedly questioned and attacked GC's wisdom on the subject (as he is already wont to do lol). He despises BS and isn't so keen on forgiving and forgetting everything that happened (he's also aware that BS is crazy jealous, especially of him, which does not do anything to salvage SC's opinion of him). A day will eventually come when he accepts BS and his relationship with Her Majesty, but they'll never really progress beyond being polite and civil with one another (and more for GC's sake than anything else)

They used to playfully bicker about calling each other "babygirl" - they both wanted to be the one to call the other one that, and were very stubborn about ceding that pet name right to the other - until they just set aside their pride and agreed that they BOTH are babygirls and that's ok

I'm trying to put out at least a little Warriors content because the fic I'm writing is taking so long to finish so here. Rembrandt/Ajax headcanons for all my remjax shippers that followed me for that pairing:

Both of them have a bit of a jealousy issue. Not bad, but it's there, and Rembrandt is actually the one who's worse about it

Going off that, Rembrandt has a serious mean streak when she wants to let it out. We all know Ajax is quick to bite, but if Rembrandt is pissed, she's going to verbally eviscerate you and your entire bloodline (I think it was @asthedeathoflight who wrote in their fic "Ajax could never love someone who wasn't mean" or something like that and I took that to heart, please correct me if I'm misquoting or miscrediting that)

Ajax is the "tis but a flesh wound" type when it comes to her being hurt but the second that Rembrandt gets so much as a sniffle she's in full panic mode

I know their actresses don't have that major of a height difference but in my brain the characters DO because I'm a sucker for height differences

Before the events of the album (and the subsequent headcanon bs I've written afterwards) they only had a big argument about once every six months. The first time the other Warriors heard it they thought for SURE it was the end because to Ajax and Rembrandt, their arguing sounds like any other couple's arguing but to literally everyone else, it sounds fucking VICIOUS

(I don't know why so many of these are becoming sad but they are)

Before they got their own apartment that they later shared with Fox, one of the other Warriors *walked in* on them at least once, which led to Ajax trying to kill whoever didn't knock

Ajax mildly hates the fact that Rembrandt smokes (even though literally everyone else does it too) and tries to get her to quit multiple times

Ajax would propose to Rembrandt in a way where she doesn't even realize what she's saying until Rembrandt points out what it sounds like and Ajax is like oh fuck that is what I'm doing isn't it? Rembrandt of course would say yes

Sexuality Headcanon: He's always given off Pansexual vibes for me.

Gender Headcanon: Trans man Starlo all the way!

A ship I have with said character: Staroba has pretty much always been one of my top 5 favorite UTY ships and that remains. I always have a bit of a soft spot for childhood friend romances, and the idea of Starlo and Ceroba understanding eachother and finally admitting their feelings for one another is just...mwah! Chef's kiss! Sometimes I self-insert myself in an OT3 with them, but I won't go there.

A BROTP I have with said character: I really love his dynamic with the Feisty Four. With their banter and shenanigans, and a pretty realistic falling out/getting back together, too! It's hard to explain, but I just really like Starlo's relationship with his pose.

A NOTP I have with said character: Ho boy, this is gonna piss a lot of people off...I am not a fan of Starlo x Dalv and it's grown stale over time for me. Before you crucify me, just note I am a man who's in a relationship with another man and Corn Yaoi just doesn't do it for me. I can get the appeal, but it just doesn't do it for me. Doesn't help that the ship tends to hold some of Ceroba's most vicious haters. Besides, I always saw Dalv as AroAce, so it clashes with my own headcanon on the guy. I can see the appeal if you like it, but I'm sorry, it just doesn't do it for me. I already removed the pairing from my SequenceShift AU for the reasons above.

A random headcanon: I get he's supposed to be, well...a star, but I like imagining a few reptilian traits on Starlo, mainly things such as a tail with a star on the end of it (give both him and Ceroba tails, dammit!) and scales. To my boyfriend and I, his patterns really reminded us of a desert collared lizard. No biggie if you don't see it the same way tho.

General Opinion over said character: Starlo is probably my second favorite character in the game behind the Roba herself and I really love him...but good fuckin lord, the fandom grossly misinterprets him as a character! Sorry girlies, but that is not just some silly, sexy Cowboy LARPer or whatnot. That is a man with some genuine issues that's driven him into being a reckless jerk, and him coming to terms with that is literally the best part about him! Guess that's the side effect of being a Tumblr Sexyman, ain't it? First Sans and now him. Fandom BS aside tho, he's still a great character.

Some thonks about old headcanons and "Fankids or Zero Fankids" endings

It's funny to think now I have it be that the moment Looker and Anabel try for a baby, pregnancy happen almost immediately for comedic effect.

I used to have it differently when I first started shipping them, actually. A lot of things were overly dramatic; eloping, going off the grid, etc etc. But one of the ideas was that Looker and Anabel trying to have a child together was turbulent and filled with so many "failed" attempts. Eventually this culminated in a miscarriage that kinda shook them both and put them in a rocky state of their relationship.

I... Do not like this idea at all nowadays. It feels like dramatics for dramatics, and a very surface level view on miscarriage.

Honestly? Through my point of view, I don't think Anabel would be hard pressed on getting pregnant quick or even have much of any grief from a miscarriage. Her and Looker wouldn't really be in any rush... Which also applies to the idea of "The Good Ending can be With or Without Biological Children"

Sure Looker noticing her pregnancy early is a bit of a jumping of the gun. but it's more like "HAHA MY INTUITION IS RIGHT, I still got it!" comedy. Both of them are very aware that early stages means that the embryo or stem cells could pull an oopsie. Like baking a cake, but forgetting a crucial ingredient. Nothing worth announcing until the embryo for certain has passed through critical forming stages without natural accidents.

Albeit, this is a lot of Vergo opinions and Vergo indulgence. I feel like if I were to go through a miscarriage, I would not feel all too upset. I don't believe that I failed, that my dreams were crushed, because my view on childbirth is that 'If I want one, I'll have one, but if it doesn't happen, I'm perfectly fine too.' To me, death is happening inside my body all the time; death blood cells, dead skin cells, death and rebirth and death and rebirth, a constant cycle. So.. I apply this to the characters I like and my view of fankids in general.

Of course, birth and kids is also part of the 'forced femininity' BS I encountered all my life from society, so I like having my own reigns on my own thoughts and feelings on this aspect of the human experience.

Hello! Thank you again for always taking the time to respond to any notes I send, can’t wait to see what comes next! On your IG I noticed how Sakura’s Crown of the Sun seal reminds me of Hashiram’s warrior monk sage mode from a cosmetic pov. Which made me think about how you pointed out how Sakura is thematically a Senju or represents them in the overall themes of the story. Which leads to a head cannon I wanted to bounce off you. Shinachiku in other fanfics I have read he’s never written to have Sage mode which would be something that fits his universal traits given to him. From the show/manga I felt that Sage mode you a character who had the physical, mental & spiritual fortitude. Shina fits the bill but if he were to have a Sage mode it would look similar to Hashiram that way he’s not following directly in his father footsteps but it gives Sakura homage as Shina powers align closer to her. Which I like that Shina both in designs and abilities come from Sakura. It makes him unique not just to be another Naruto clone which only really works when you have a tragic backstory like him. My point is that I felt like Shina that warrior monk sage mode shows his duality as a character. He’s universally acknowledged as a skilled medic which implies he has a value and sanctity for life and seeks to prevent death and heal others but at the same time he’s expert hand to hand combatant and wields tanto blades which are specifically made for killing. It’s one of things I love about his character that duality, he’s both the yin and yang. Much like his parents. Sorry for the long paragraph I just enjoy sharing these thoughts!

I'll start by saying please stop apologizing for these long asks, I love them! Even if I'm not always able to respond right away to them, do know that I love getting them and reading them and exchange all these headcanons with you.

Makes my heart smile when I see someone is really analyzing Kaika in such a beautiful way. Feels like an honor, tbh.

Now to get to the actual point of the story...

First of all, Sakura's seal... well, there's a reason why I made that seal the way I did it. Those old theories of mine echoes so hard and far away, that nowadays they're used as commercial hook in the franchise.

And it's not the first time that I see in the franchise concepts that have been used that I talked about at some point in my theories.

One of the biggest I've seen is ironically the one theory that I couldn't recover after losing my blog 2 or 3 times already (lost the count tbh cuz when you have to build it from scratch every time, it's so tiresome honestly) called Spiritual Enlightenment: Sakura Haruno, Slug Sage mode and possible genjutsu connection.

Most of what I see in the sequel nowadays in terms of certain power-ups are mechanics that I've laid down in that theory that I lost.

Most will say that eh, I'm talking BS cuz I don't have that theory so I don't have a way to prove it. But the thing is, there are certain residuals/artifacts if you may say so of that theory around the internet.

So then, the reason I had her seal look like Hashirama's is precisely because I'm making use of my own theories in a way that I think Kishimoto wanted to develop Sakura, like I said so many times.

Now, as for Shina, the way I plan on developing him has connections to that and doesn't at the same time. I won't go too much into detail, but I made him that way because I wanted to have something unique to him, in a way, like you said. I don't want him to be a copy of anyone.

That's why some of the power-ups I have in mind for him are and aren't connected to that specific similarity. I have a little twist in mind.

But what I do have prepared for Shina, is the Heaven & Earth symbolism in his power-ups. He's not gonna necessarily fit the warrior monk archetype tbh. If anything, the monk type will fit more for Arashi, the way I have him built.

But, in a way partially, it will also fit with Shina. So you see, that's why I say that it is and it isn't at the same time. But I do get from where you're coming and I agree with you in the sense that Shina has respect for the sanctity of life. After all, he is very laid back and respectable like Katsuyu. That's why she becomes his favorite summon and always has a Katsuyu plushie haha.

The thing is, I built all 3 siblings in a way that fit certain themes and symbolism, but with a unique twist, I'd say.

For example one of Shina's power-ups is going to be tied to Hanami, and through that, Hanami also gets her own power-up. Arashi in a way is the one who's more hermit/monk like so his power-ups aren't tied directly to his siblings per se. But that's because I want Arashi to be more connected with the Uzumakis.

And I did all that because I wanted to have the family theme represented in more ways than one, which is the classic blood relation.

I won't go exactly into too much detail because I don't want to give away the "juicy" parts so to speak, haha. But I hope everyone will find it as interesting as I seem to be finding them in my head, lol.

Muted!Blue AU part 2

Okay, Reguri fans, it time for more of my mute!Blue headcanons. This time focusing on how he is with other gym leaders and some of the E4 members. This is how he sees them and things that happen while Red is on Mt Silver

Starting with Brock: Blue sees him like an older brother. When Red is away, Blue just wants to communicate to another guy his own age, and Brock is the closest to his age. Because their gyms are close enough, they meet up about once a week to just hang out.

Misty: Blue loves to tease Misty about her fear of bugs (I know that's Anime Misty, but this is my headcanon damn it). By showing her bug, Pokemon. When he isn't being an ass, the two of them have friendly swimming races. The current score is a 75 wins to Misty and 25 to Blue.

One time Misty had enough of Blue's bs, captured a Misdreavus and call it out right in front of him. No one had ever heard Blue scream that loud before and didn't talk to Misty for a month. They apologise to each other and promised to only verbally/sign tease each other about their fears. The older gym leaders do get tried of this and try to stop them, but together they are a pair of gremlins.

Surge: Blue thinks he's an asshole who is too full of himself and only ever talks to him during rematch battles. Surge doesn't know sign at first so Blue insults him in sign to his face. Surge soon learned and gives him a clip around the ear for being a little shit.

Eirka: No strong feelings. When they run into each other they exchange pleasantries but nothing more then that.

Sabrian: Blue loves having Mirror matches with their Alakazams. Despite being an early gym leader, Sabrian tends to win because she has a closer bond with hers while Blue's ace is either his Blastoise or Pigot

Janie: Since she became a gym leader shortly after he did, the two help each other out on tips on how they deal with different kinds of trainers that come to fight them. He jokingly calls her a nepotism baby due to how she got her gym. Red and Blue did hang out a lot with Janie during their journey since the boys would spend a lot of time in the safari so the three of them became friends during this time.

Blaine: Blue enjoys his over the top quiz loving attitude, but hates it when he forces it on Blue to get him to be more verbal.

The only elite four members Blue really knows is Koga and Lance. Koga is often telling Blue off for teasing Janie and Misty but Blue is a little shit and doesn't listen.

He does listen to Lance though who basically adopted Blue when he found out how much of a dick Oak was to him. After Red, Lance was the first person to find out how to tell when Blue is lying. (I'll get to that). Lance is firm with the younger gym leaders to keep them in check and and ensure they are doing a good job.

Now it's time for things Blue does.

1: He signs everything, no matter if he's verbal or not. This is from when he wasnt verbal so it's like second nature to him. Though when he's tired he sign stutters (I looked this up, this is a thing thought I'm not sure if sleep affects it)

2: If he lies his signing is slightly slower then normal. Not by much but Red and Lance have noticed and often calls him out on it. He normally lies about being a little shit to Lance and if he's feeling okay to Red. He can verbally lie just fine though. He has tried not signing while lying but that was a bigger give away. He doesn't know that's how they can tell he's lying. But he expects it.

3: He hates his hands being confined for too long because of point 1. To him it's the same as covering his mouth. He doesn't mind hand holding as long as one hand is free.

4: If he has a challenger on a none verbal day he forces himself to talk if they win. Thankfully for him it doesn't happen often.

5: For the first mouth of being a Gym Leader, he would fall asleep at the gym in his chair so he didn't get enough sleep. Daisy grilled him for this because his sign stutter got so bad during the day. Every so often, Blue does it again, but only for a night

6. He'll never admit it, but he loves it when Lance says he's doing a great job as a gym leader because it makes him realise how much Oak was a dick to him. And having a father figure give a damn about him really boosts Blue's confidence. Lance knows anyway but doesn't make a big deal, so the boost can be more natural.

7. He hums a lot when not speaking. Most of the time, he doesn't notice he does it. Sometimes it's just a small hum while other's it's drawn out. It's low enough that people have to be right next to him to hear.

8. During none verbal days if he wants to get someone's attention and their in the same room. He will grab hold of whatever their wearing and wait for them to notice. If it's important he'd tug hard.

My Random headcanon for smokedtiger (smoked cheese x nutmeg tiger) may be out of character but I'm not known for my in character writing so yeah enjoy I suppose

from my redeem beasts au where they all have their own lackeys

• their both tsunderes nutmeg is more stubborn than smokes is

• nutmegs actually didn't realise she was in love with smokes until gumdrop pointed it out when she was venting to the other lackeys about him and had a 'oh fuck' reaction

• smokes realise his feelings for her faster then she did and had a 'oh my raidence why her!?' reaction

• They both are very stubborn both having egos that refuse to admit their feelings for each other until smokes accidentally admitted his feelings for her in the middle of a heated argument they were having they started dating right after that (while technically they started dating after he gave her the gold band? ring? Arm ring? Idk what it's called she wears it on her armpit in the redeem au design I post of her as like some kind of peace offering)

• nutmeg has zero to none relationships experience while smokes had a few flings but never a serious relationship this relationship is new to both of them

• smokes sometimes needs to force feed nutmeg food or she forgets because she's to busy training to be stronger

• smokes is taller than nutmeg and likes to relentlessly tease her about it

• early in their relationship nutmeg got very flustered anytime they did anything together either it cuddles, kissing or even hand holding made her full red but now she's used to it

• smokes is actually very possessive towards nutmeg he just doesn't show it often tiger is either not aware of it or she is aware she just ignores it as it embarrassed her

•they are both very passive aggressive to each other

•nutmeg moved in with smokes after they hit 1 year in being bf and gf

•they often argue who does the chores in their home

•before they started dating some cookies around them started shipping them because of their sexual tension and constant arguments

golden cheese was the first

• they both can cook and often make different meals as they have different tastes nutmeg prefers spicy foods while smokes prefer salty food but they have been trying to get used to eating each others food

• they still fight a lot but it often ends with them cuddling

• they both like to smell each other's scents it helps calm them down

• smokes has developed a good spice tolerance

• mozzarella and golden cheese both bet who was gonna confess first (mozzarella won)

• they both get jealous very easily but they won't admit it

• after a few years of living with the cheeses both bs and nutmeg would go back to beasts yeast as they can't leave their cookies forever so nutmeg and smokes would become a long distance relationship for awhile they often would visit each other tho

How they are with eachother friends:

•nutmeg dislikes burnt weary of mozzarella likes fettuccine and respect golden

•smokes dislike gumdrop confused by jester likes quiet annoyed by cloud haetae dislikes the spice swarm and hates burning

-notes: i love gwyndor and i love the depth gwynneth's existence in wotb adds to his character. what's his deal? how did he become a rogue smith? how did gwynneth I die? why'd he basically abandon his daughter with thora? just a short little headcanon backstory that answers these questions and explores gwyndor's emotional baggage.

blood moon lullaby (AU series)

WIP lutta lives AU turned alternate ending to ga'hoole. after a meeting with the spirit of hoole himself, coryn learns of great danger to come. the key to protecting owlkind lies within a hidden fourth volume of the legends, detailing the survival of lutta and delving further into her history, including her youth alongside her 'sister', kreeth's final creation. once he learns the rest of her story, the ancient spirit of lutta awakens to guide coryn, but she is not the only one who returns...

this AU is a huge passion project of mine since i'm a firm believer that lutta deserved a much better ending than she got! it involves an expansion on lutta's character arc and dynamics with other characters, canon-based original character, recharacterization of hagsfiends and their role in the plot (no more of that inherently evil bs), in-depth exploration of coryn and nyra's hagsfiend ancestry, and a completely new ending to ga'hoole itself.

-notes: it's always seemed that by becoming king, coryn just starts being considered a guardian by default. i think he would want to go through training and take the guardian oath just like any other owl, and soren would agree- thus i started writing something short yet emotional about it. it's almost finished but i don't know when i'll ACTUALLY finish it so... eventually

-summary: on a trip to the beyond together, gwyndor and soren chance upon someone unexpected.

-notes: more gwyndor/soren stuff! i think gwyndor would want to introduce soren to his daughter (gwynneth) eventually, but isn't sure how to go about it and keeps avoiding the topic. what better way to solve that problem than running into her by accident! takes place at the beginning of book 15, because i thought it would be cool to retell gwyndor hearing namara's howling, but with soren and gwynneth there. gwyndor and gwynneth both understanding what it means (which also showcases the similarities between them, distant as they are) while soren stands there looking confused as all hell is beautiful to me

Always somehow smells like rain water and eucalyptus

Though he's tried to preserve as much of the traditions and customs of the kurta clan, he's slowly losing it as he goes deeper and deeper his attempt to avenge them.

Keeps a diary but is never consistent with it (sounds like his friendships)

Has the biggest rbf ever and no one is brave enough to point it out.

Absolutely despised fast food, would only eat it if it was the only option for him.

Has never kissed anyone on the lips in his life and most likely will never (sorry guys)

He use to feed all the cats on the island. It gotten so bad that all the rodents on the island are nearly extinct because he's been keeping hundreds of felines alive.

Before dating (because I ship them) I like to think they started out as rivals. In their canon relationship charts, they are neutral to each other, but they emote mean stuff to each other, so I interpreted that as friendly jabbing.

I like to think they became rivals because they constantly have arguments over if bows or guns are the better range weapon, since they both are rangers.

I like to think when Harley came clean about the whole WoF thing, Darryl and the hero were the first ones he told.

I know so many people make the arms dealer (especially with the guide x arms dealer ship) the one to fall in love first and generally a simp, which makes sense for how he acts in canon, but I find it so funny to think the guide was the one to realize his feelings first :3

Harley tried so hard to figure out how to ask Darryl out on his own, but he failed so much that he ignored his pride and begged the party girl (the town gossip along with the stylist) for help.

Now it's time for adorable stuff that ISN'T prologue junk:

Darryl is a sucker for physical attention/love. Holding hands, kisses, and hugs are his favorite go to affections (and Harley's too).

These fuckers are MARRIED, but proposing was an absolute disaster for Darryl. He got help from almost every NPC and still almost fucked it up, especially since he almost fell into a lake (he proposed while on a boat ride with Harley).

Even though neither Harley, Darryl, or the Angler (Sammy) will admit it, Sammy is basically the two's adopted son. (THIS HEADCANON IS BECAUSE OF ONE SPECIFIC ARTIST.)

Kathryn (if Healthy Dose of Rangers isn't involved 💔) is a very supportive friend/ex for Darryl, but she will not tolerate either of the two's bs.

Harley isn't shy, but he struggles to show affection. To make up for it, he likes to talk or check up on Darryl a lot.

Anytime Harley struggles to remember anything about guns or ammo, he'll always get help from Darryl.

From the point above, anytime Harley asks about anything to do with firearms, there is a 75% chance Darryl will answer in the form of a 15 minute explanation. Man's just passionate about his work.

These two are either very chill or lovey-dovey about their relationship, no inbetweens.

While Harley and Darryl got over their rivalry phases with each other, they will still "fight" over if guns or bows are superior range weapons.

For their birthdays, or any other holidays the NPCs decide to celebrate, Darryl tends to get Harley really good arrows (with a lot of struggles) and Harley goes out of his way and abuses his "I'm friends with the terrarian" privileges to get Darryl some pretty good firearms.

They both love reading. They can spend hours at a time going through Harley's library, and it makes for some fun dates.

While Darryl may seem like (and act like) a complete dumbass at times, Harley knows he's actually pretty clever.

That's all I could think of at the top of my head, but yeah: middle-aged men yaoi.

First off, most people request perfectly fine and I have no issue other than my own motivation. But, it is a little frustrating when all I get is a name. Just a name, not even a fandom. I've had this blog for a few years now, should probably have done this before. But anyway

What's needed; Name, Fandom, Gender/Sexuality

What's appreciated but not necessary; Character Status (Alive/Deceased/Resurrected/Immortal), Relationship status w/ couples (Married/Dating/Divorced), Pronouns, Species (for Trans/Enby/GenderQueer Characters), Trigger Warnings for the media

JASON!!! jaaaaason! jason my beloved. i watched the show for him, so, i mean.... what else is new. but he's really one of the best-characterised teens i have ever seen? i think because so much of that show is not ... my thing, it still confuses me so much that he exists on this whole other plane of character and he feels so real and human and curran walters is so good, and i wish i could tell him personally.

Second favorite character

that's a tough one. i'm going to go with gar i think? he feels so underwritten and they never seem to figure out what to do with him but he's so unendingly kind amongst so many characters who are so self-absorbed and often plain nasty and i want a show with just him and jason hanging out and maybe kon gets to be there too as a treat. gar teaching kon how to human was so fun! the show is so often lacking in fun!

Least favorite character

dick grayson??!! so much of what i dislike about characters in the show is sort of crystallised into a whole mess with him, the aforementioned self-absorption, the way he is so blind to his own hypocrisy. the lack of empathy or leadership, of heart? and i get to spend so much screen time with his ongoing identity crisis and i don't want to. get your shit together, dick!

probably also jason. very sensitive to bs, very sensitive about power dynamics, very sensitive to rejection. i have, however, you may be glad to know, not been involved in criminal activity on a larger scale. or i'd probably be gar the mom friend. i would make food for everyone, they eat so rarely. or sleep regularly. that's me.

Favorite moment

i love jason connecting with leslie in their session so much. it's been 2 1/2 seasons of people endlessly telling him how wrong he is, it's so good to have him connect with someone and be ok for a bit.

my other favourite moment, if i'm permitted 2, is seeing him again in season 4 feeling more relaxed and just so fucking playful! he' been playful all this time but had nobody to play with!!?? and here's tim and the ship that launched so many headcanons for me!

Pfffffft my recent post aged beautifully, everybody talking bout how Sumire is gonna pretend to like Kawaki and end up actually falling for him are in the mud cuz neither she nor Sarada even bothered to hide that they were unaffected from Ada or anyone else for that matter 😭 can't believe anybody had the gall to call ksa dead but still believed ksu was alive, talk about delusional.

How many times do ppl gotta tell y'all that in the Naruto verse, when a girl falls in love she never moves on whether their feelings are reciprocated or not, they stay in love for life, hence why ino was the only one who moved on because her feelings for Sasuke were shown not to be that deep when she dreamed of him and Sai fighting over her, meaning she was open to being with either one.

You never saw any hint of interest for anyone else from Konan, Tsunade, Sakura, Hinata, Karin, Kurenai, Mito, Yugao, or any other girl who lost their loves, they were all devoted to who they loved and refused to accept anyone else, it was them or nobody.

So HOW y'all thought Sumire was actually gonna fall for Kawaki and move on from Boruto when she's shown being just as devoted to him and him alone I will never know, but unlike y'all try to paint ksa, ksu actually IS dead and it's time to let it go.

It was a crack ship fueled by nothing but headcanon and keeping borusara safe from the start, and it's a crack ship fueled by nothing but headcanon in the end.

Congratulations, Y'all played y'all selves, that's yet another one of your desperate keep away ships blown out of the water right next to kawahima, can't wait till kawaada gets shot down too cuz don't none of y'all keep away ships ever last long after yall start em, they always flop.
