Are there any opinions you've given (like in a video or on twt or something like that) that you eventually changed your mind on or grew to regret??

I'm curious because you seem like a very "I WILL DIE ON THIS HILL" type of person

Y'know, I honestly can't think of anything.

I'm the kind of weirdo who really likes to figure out why I feel a certain way about something. So if I feel really strongly about something, positive or negative, I tend to delve far into it to find out why whatever I'm thinking about is that way.

I'll read developer interviews and figure out behind-the-scenes stuff. I'll check out every other adaptation to see what the production team deemed important enough to keep from version to version. I'll look at who did what on the staff to figure out which ideas came from where. So once I've got a strong opinion about something, it's usually backed up by so much research and thought that my opinion won't change unless something massive shakes the franchise in question or it gets an entirely new adaptation.

I think the thing that happens most regularly for me is learning too much about an author's writing style and re contextualizing their work now that I know more about them.

For example, I like mystery novels. A few years ago I read a book called The Guest List by Lucy Foley and I really liked it. My favorite thing about it was its non-chronological framing device and the wild multi-step revenge story.

This year I read another book of hers called The Midnight Feast. The structure, setup, and pacing of the reveals was shockingly similar. So much so that I was actually able to guess about 40% of the twists early, not because I was picking up on them, but because I was already familiar with the storytelling tools the author used. I kind of ended up disliking the book, but only because I'd basically already read it. It made me want to revisit The Guest List. Is the only reason I didn't like The Midnight Feast because I'd read The Guest List first? Would the same thing have happened in reverse if I read them the other way around? I think that's neat.

Idk it's funny how learning about a creators little quirks makes you approach their work differently, like how Charles Dickens is addicted to making everyone Secretly Related for Surprise Inheritance Reasons.

Consider me one of your younger followers who's still trying to figure out their aroace-ness.

How do i really know im aroace when i dont even know how love is supposed to feel like? Sometimes, i think i like a few ppl just a little bit. I have seen myself turn a little gay for some women. (Idk if there's a better way to say it) and feel jealous of other women having partners(mostly male partners)

I do relate to being aroace. But sometimes these doubts come up.

Am i really aroace? Or it it just a phase of mine?

I'll be honest, from personal experience... I don't know how love is supposed to feel like either. I thought maybe I felt it in the past but it never got remotely close to things that are described ad nauseam to us in media and popular culture. I never got it. The biggest emotional high I ever got was making sincere friends or feeling connected to my family or accomplished with art. So I came to the conclusion that I'm aro. I don't think a gay person ever understood what it feels like to be attracted to someone of the opposite gender either, so... That's my reasoning for it I guess. I'm aro SO I can't be expected to understand romance. That's kind of the point in my head. And even then, aromanticism is a broad spectrum, so it's very possible it's full of people whose understanding and feeling of romance varies or may even fluctuate.

So to be honest, if you feel that "aroace" defines you properly, and because it's a pretty wide spectrum, I'd say that yes, you really are, and no, it's not a phase, and heck, even if that understanding of yourself came to change for a different orientation in the future, that's OK too. What matters is that you feel happy with yourself.

...I'll also add tbh that being aro and ace is kind of a losing deal cus even within LGBTQ+ spaces you're gonna be invisibilised and othered, so... I doubt you'd be calling yourself "aroace" just to be temporarily cool or whatever. It was never perceived as cool or a good thing by society at large. It's a battle one doesn't pick. If throughout all of that invisibilization, allosexual and alloromantic-spamming and looking-down-upon you still managed to come to the conclusion that it's a good definition for you, I'd say that's pretty telling. I dunno.

On one last note, I'm not sure if the jealousy you feel of other women having partners is directed towards the women because they have partners, or towards the partners because they're with these specific women, but if it's the former at the very very least, I don't think it's incompatible with being aro. Again, society spams us so much with the idea that having a steady romantic partner is the only way you won't end up alone in the world, that it's hard not to be scared of being lonely when we have that identity sometimes. And the alternative sounds so much easier, even if we couldn't get it the exact same way most people do unless we forced ourselves to act in a way that's not "us" deep inside.

...Welp, that's my feelings on it at least, but yeah, the asexual and aromantic spectrums are so wide in the experiences they cover that I couldn't hope to cover everyone's experience within them. I just hope that this helped you feel a little more confident about it. With the way society is, it's made very hard for us not to doubt ourselves sometimes, but I don't feel we deserve to doubt ourselves that much.

Haven't really paid attention to the fandom since 2021 when all the proship drama took over in 2020 and just stayed to my own small circles. Is Fugio even still popular? Over on twt I remember watching their entire community be anti central as some like "pure" shipv because Giomis is just soo evil but they gotta ship Giorno with someone and Narancia and Trish don't exist, but when I go and take peeks now, side from the fandom (twt wise) seeming dead, I haven't really seen any Fugio stuff even bring created or brought up anymore.

I'm not sure if it's because I blocked like 90% of jjba antis, but if it isn't just because of me blocking everyone it's pretty funny to see that entire ship fall out of relevance again cause honestly I agree with you, the antis that latched onto it only did so cause it's the """pure""" option (even though actually reading/watching would show their dynamic would actually be complex and possibly interesting)

I'm not on Twitter (I post links to my fics and then evacuate for the most part) so I have no clue what's going on there to be completely honest. On here though I feel like every gen Jojo post I make gets a bunch of interactions from fugio shippers according to their bios... But that doesn't necessarily equate to there being content made, I guess.... I've also blocked liberally so it's hard to say lmfao 😭 but now that you mention it it does feel like it's started to fizzle out. Will be interesting to see what happens when SBR starts airing...

And yeah I feel like it's beyond parody idk there's something about taking characters from a violent show about kids in organized crime and sanitizing them beyond recognition. That's like something from a hyberbolic post making fun of fandom discourse. Fugio doesn't even have anything on giomis purity-wise except the age gap. Like they all kill and steal 💀 I also lowkey feel like fugio shippers hate Giorno lowkey idk why they even bother bc they wanna change/sanitize literally everything about him so bad and complain about how Araki writes him. I guess Fugo is an easy character to latch onto bc he appears way less so they can just liberally hc whatever they want 💀

“Everyone is gay” is our default because we prefer gay ships, but we don’t really headcanon sexualities for characters. If we ever come up with a good story with Floyd and fem!Riddle, nothing would stop us from indulging in it 💪 There are some that are more difficult for me to see with the opposite sex than the others though.

LOVE CURSE ELEANOR ROUTE UH...COMMENT? thoughts or whatever

NOT SPOILER-FREE and very messy. not a pro review lmao

Okay so just initial thoughts for the first chapters. It was a little boring for me because everyone seemed so perfect but I was also just in a bad mood this week so probably why I was annoyed about it. I chose Eleanor because I actually haven't seen fanarts or spoilers of her in twt unlike Iris and Victoria. The same goes for Nyx but she is just not my type, and the way she kinda guilt tripped MC in the beginning pissed me off.

Ngl I've played a few otome games before and she might be the most unpredictable for me when it comes to making the right choices. Of course I still chose the options that I'd do but most of the time I get it right lol but with her, I'm looking for a pattern but couldn't get it. Skill issue on my part, I guess I'm just really not compatible with her.

I fucked around on chp 2 because I couldn't choose between her and Iris. In the end, I died early at July and it made me sad to see Eleanor like that so I redid her route, solely focusing on her and not two-timing this time lol.

I think after the cooking incident is where everything turned around, I didn't expect the sudden lore and her beef with Nyx. I didn't like how she was so overprotective of MC and how secretive she is, MC was too kind because I would've snapped at Eleanor lol. I just felt like it was a little rushed after Phoenix tells you everything. The sudden appearance of Nyx and her whole killing thing. Idk I felt like we were just too lucky even though Phoenix and Eleanor have somehow planned this before. Before that , Eleanor said she didn't have a plan though but I'm assuming she also has to keep that plan with Phoenix a secret so it doesn't ruin MC's fate.

I'm relieved I got the happy ending but yea not really going head over heels for her. I still want to see if there's a hidden ending because I only got the ? meter to 25%. I'll redo her route and try to fill that up.

Still felt bad about everything she went through...I avoid tragic yuri as much as I could 😭but god is it good HJSHDJD.

Okay, I'm putting this here because God do I have a lot of thoughts, and I don't have a limit here hehe.

Okay, so we all know how yesterday all the eggs (at least the ones that woke up) showed up dirty and with various other traumas. (Chayanne having the feeling he was supposed to wake up, Tallulah feeling in pain and like it would never end, Leonarda just very drawn back and quiet.) And how those with hats had them skewed off and all that.

So I know the theories for those were either a) hatching b) rotting c) they got taken by the federation and beat up.

Based on today, the eggs being missing and the only thing being left is their signature thing, all three things are still a possibility with the way they work. (Although some are more likely than others)

So a) hatching. Honestly out of the three, this is the least likely even if I want it to be true. In mythology from what I can remember, Dragons typically like much warmer climates (ie: volcanoes, deserts), so the eggs could have left of their own volition to go hatch in a warmer climate like they're supposed to. However, This is helped by cellbits code the other day that said the word "eclosion" which means to come out of a shell or pupal state, and would also be explained by quackity studios post of "Oops 🍳" (which is where I got the warmer thing because technically this would be the eggs getting "warmer")

b) rotting. This is still a big possibility as I read from someone who's owned several snakes, and since dragons are technically classified as reptiles we can guess at how their gestation period would work using snakes. It's been about 4 months since the egg event started and most snakes hatch in 45-70 days (sorry if this is inaccurate I did my best but cannot look at snakes at all so this was a little difficult to look up) and taking into account that dragons are much larger than snakes we can guess that they would have at least double the amount of time of the largest snake gestation time.

Which is about 4 months.

Of which after, snake eggs can begin to start rotting because of some shit idk (I am terrified of the things) but they would show discoloration if they did, and/or also growing bigger like Chayanne seemed to look the day before they all left.

Which could imply they are rotting, and they all left to be together when they were rotting as they didn't want to see their parents see them in that state, or the federation took them because this was happening and the plan of federation experiments had failed. (I know it's a lot and probably a long stretch but I have thoughts and I need to put them down and thanks to that one person on twt for mentioning the discoloration and sending me on a rabbit hole of thinking)

Okay finally c) the eggs got beat up by the federation. This is honestly the most likely solution for when they all showed up dirty and such. Because this followed by being kidnapped with no warning other than the cryptic code sent by quackity studios yesterday would make a lot of sense.

We saw evidence of physical attacks in ways other than the dirt and items being messed up in Chayanne being confused, Leo being uncharacteristicly quiet, and Tallulah claiming that her entire body hurt. All of which was likely the punishment of letting one of the new players die on the way back to spawn which they were specifically instructed not to do. It also makes sense as to why they waited to do this, because if they had just done this immediately, they wouldn't have everyone on the server concerned and it wouldn't be an overall punishment. They would have to wait for the new players to get to know the eggs and then the punishment would have more effect when the federation took them.

This would also make sense as none of them would just leave, and especially not without their trademark item/clothes, which has never happened (as far as I'm aware) even in the previous two times they've been kidnapped. That and the federation does not wish well for the eggs or the islanders even if cucurocho claims that we'll know where they went soon.

So in summary most likely is c, least likely is a, and god what the hell were you thinking is b because I feel like that is a major stretch but idk there's my thoughts Tumblr.

Honestly, kudos to you if you read that entire basically essay of me rambling about theories. There's probably more that I forgot lol.
