(and u even have some hilichurls and mitachurl that wander close to Andrius’ edge of the woods to shyly beg for scraps,, u give them a portion)

Razor was actually lookin at u like u hung the stars just for him when u gave him a homemade barbecue sauce to put on his food

ok but the amount of begging u get for desserts like-

No, Razor u cannot have chocolate cake/cupcakes after every meal, u need to take care of ur teeth

(u use ur collection of mora-monster-donations for comms for more ingredients and living supplies like fabric + furniture, u cant afford dental on top of that for ur boy)

Fischl dutifully declares you the “best chef in the kingdom” and writes down all ur recipes (u have them auto-stored in ur settings obv but it cant hurt to have a physical copy, and they look so happy doing it, u don't have the heart to tell them its not necessary-)

Benny insists on both giving u extra ingredients when he takes ur commissions, and giving u handmade trinkets or weapons for the meals!!

No!! He will not take “im good” for an answer!! ur sharing ur home-cave with him, taking care of his best friend Razor, and now feeding him food better than Liuli Pavilion!!! There’s no way he can just take all that and give nothing back!!!!

and theyre not the only ones getting some food tbh

when the knights begin patroling near Wolvendom and slowly all of Mondstadt to search for their “All God”, u break up the beginnings of a fight between 2 confused knights and the now peaceful hilichurl camp at the edge of Wolvendom

U offer some snacks u were going to give Benny’s Adventure Team when they got back (u made little triangle sandwiches, rice balls, etc. finger foods, and u made plenty extra bc u kno their teenage appetites lol)

the knights and hilichurls nearly cried with appreciation, which made for a hilarious sight when the teens actually showed up lmao

ur wearing ur cloak, bc u dont wanna take on that whole “creator of worlds” title just yet, and the kids helped verify u werent anyone suspicious (Benny + Fischl keep ur godly secret, theyre the best like that 🥰)

the knights just swing by for snacks occasionally (they also either pay u in trade or with mora, theyre not bullies)

another person who gets flavored food privileges is the lazy librarian witch herself

u also sometimes pick Razor up from Lisa’s tutoring and bring “the best tea and tea snacks in the world” along with to share with Lisa and him

(she is also fully aware after awhile of meeting u of what u are, and fully believes this is why the food must be enchanted to be so good, but u dont want to be treated super reverently she can tell, so she keeps ur secret too and is just extra flirty when u come by lol)

(Razor refuses to let his pare- Lupical move out of ur cozy cave to the library, so he sometimes hauls u away when Lisa flirts too much LMAO)

I'm doing things in bullet point form coz wow there's a lot

Was the gentle and polite child! Also frequently got sick. Addie frequently took care of him in those times hehe. Is it possible that this is because of his experiences prior to getting to Mond? Travelling as a child would have made him vulnerable to tougher weather and rapidly at that. I doubt that food comes easy too. Additionally, HE WAS LEFT IN A STORM. I still think Kaeya is gentle and polite, though he definitely gives the face of charming and sly (if it benefits him and it works then might as well keep it going!)

Kindness is so inherent in him that he automatically does kind acts. He only acts like he has an ulterior motive, and tbh? I bet that act is only to keep people away. I think I made a oneshot about this saying his biological father may be worried about this tendency? Or something similar. Worryingly enough, Kaeya clearly has a hard time accepting words of affirmation from literally everyone. Heartbreaking to see in action.

Diluc is a menace, asking Kaeya to help him in his mischief, tsk. Kaeya apparently also helps Diluc in the punishments he receives. Kaeya ended up doing the most of it :( (what are the odds of Kaeya also doing Diluc's paperwork while said redhead was out on the field? What if the reason Kaeya wasn't with Diluc and Crepus during that one fateful 18th birthday because he was covering for Diluc's shift...). Tbh? Kaeya never stopped covering for Diluc. Even now, he is still covering for Diluc (DKH).

This one set off alarms in my mind. Kaeya was apparently not a very good liar when he was younger. I now definitely think that Crepus knew Kaeya lied about his origins. The question is, did Diluc know Kaeya was not a strong liar before their fight? Or did he remember afterwards and was immediately faced with even more guilt?

He might actually have a sweet tooth! Dear god look at the number of desserts he ordered. Do note that Death Afternoon is a mixture that lessens the bitterness of Dandelion Wine. Additionally, Kaeya wasn't interested in wine when he was younger, he only grew into it because it reminds him of home after he left :( The Cider Lake drink is also sweet! And I'm guessing plain chicken mushroom skewers weren't sweet enough, so he decided to add fruits to it. I THINK CREPUS ACCIDENTALLY GOT HIM INTO LIKING ALCOHOL AFTER CREATING THE CIDER LAKE DRINK LMAO. Crepus suceeding in preventing alcohol intake from one child and ended up giving it to the other

Fairly sure he was being flirted on here by an entire group of mercenaries and just didn't realize which would make things extremely funny. They saw him and immediately went "we need to see that body in the dance floor ASAP". What if he doesn't realize he is being flirted on until he is slapped in the face with a confession? It's also funny if he flirts up a storm and not realize people are flirting back lmao

So I was right... he was not kicked out. He moved out on his own. Diluc is fine with him frequenting Dawn Winery, expects it even (lol my short 1 shot makes sense now). The staff keep asking him to come back and visit more frequently. Adelinde says that Kaeya is always part of the family. They become so happy when Kaeya comes back, it's like a weight is lifted off of everyone's chests. IT'S KAEYA WHO KEEPS SAYING HE'S A GUEST AND SEPARATING HIMSELF OUGH. He's the one trying to stay away after all :((( Let's summarize this: Kaeya was the sickly, quick to bruise, kind, gentle, and polite child who everyone in the staff (and Diluc) adores and still treats like he is their baby, but said baby of the family KEEPS LEAVING. Go home Kaeya!

Klee keeps looking for Kaeya! And Kaeya reads her bedtime stories!!! Hearing her voice ask where Kaeya was broke my heart, I think I'd like that used for angst purposes. Kaeya is once again letting a mischievous pyro user get away with causing mischief. Kaeya you enabler lmaaaoooo. Kaeya frequently rescues Klee from solitary confinement, done so enough times that Klee now does the same for him (I bet she thinks Kaeya is in solitary confinement whenever he's busy doing paperwork). Not to Kaebedo/Albekae you guys (I am Kaebedo/Albekae-ing you guys), but I'm fairly sure Kaeya and Albedo spend so much time together with Klee. Again, frequent enough that Albedo has tons of drawings of Kaeya (the 3 brushstrokes is a popular meme, but it actually is just a way to say that he has drawn Kaeya a lot. Bet he could draw Kaeya with his eyes closed haha). HE GOT THEM MATCHING GIFTS THATS ADORABLE

Speaking of gifts, he's a great gift giver! He really listens to people's needs and wants. What a thoughtful man (Diluc was right in his letters in hidden strife though. TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF KAEYA). Speaking of, I'm guessing Kaeya is rich? Because I'm fairly sure the gifts were bought with his own pocket money and thus the huge amount of travel funds remaining (the gifts are expensive, surely it should have put a dent to the said funds had he used them)

hmmm i wish more people actually talked about how kaeya is a non-white refugee being raised by a white family in a predominantly white nation. in my personal opinion, i feel like everyone should read up on trans racial adoption, bc it plays a huge role in kaeya and the way they see not only themselves, but also khananeriah as well -- it'll also add a lot more nuance to many "ragnvindr brothers" interpretations, and why many people may feel uncomfortable with using ragbros as a label. this isn't anti ragbros / kaeya and diluc being siblings or anything, however all i ask for, is for people to actually acknowledge kaeyas culture and racial identity. idk i need to go shower lol

What is the worst thing about being with your partner? (Venti, Albedo, Diluc, & Kaeya)

Venti always seems to be preparing himself for a life without you. You never have more fun than when you're with him, whether singing, adventuring, or just basking in each other's company, but you can't help noticing the looks he gives you between the smiles and laughter. His eyes saying "I'm going to miss this. I'm going to miss you." He's lived for thousands of years before you and will live for thousands of years after and as much as he loves being with you, he can't help worrying for when you have to say goodbye.

Albedo treats many parts of your relationship like an experiment. It was endearing in the beginning, the way he'd always ask before initiating any affection and ask what you did or didn't like about it afterwards. But as time goes on, it feels too methodical. "Can you elaborate?" and "Was it better than when..." become common phrases for you to hear. At this point, you wouldn't be surprised to find a notebook detailing your reactions whenever he tried something new. While you try to keep the idea that he just wants to do the best he can for you, it's becoming all the more difficult with each question to ignore the anxious thoughts about what will happen when he becomes bored with the results.

Diluc hardly has time for you. Between running Dawn Winery and the Angel's Share and protecting Mondstadt at night, you're beginning to wonder how you had time to get together in the first place. Even when he sets aside time especially for you, something always seems to go wrong that requires his immediate attention. He always apologizes so earnestly that you find it hard to stay upset, but there's only so many broken promises of "next time" you can take before considering that "next time" will be when you walk away.

Kaeya can't be honest with you. He has told you as much when you ask about things like his family or his past. It's understandable, from what you can piece together, that he just doesn't feel comfortable sharing such hardships. The bad part is the things he won't tell you he lies about. You can always tell when he feeling lonely, his usual teasing becoming more insistent than usual when you're leaving, but he'll never admit it out loud. When you ask about his work, he often dodges the question with a vague answer or a story about Klee's latest escapade in hopes you won't point out it had nothing to do with him. He's never had someone like you in his life, someone who accepts and loves him as he is, but as much as he wants to, he can't trust that you'll feel the same if you knew everything about him.

what kills me is kaeya, while still really young, would have believed in the ragnvindrs unconditional love once he warmed up to them. but as he grew older and was exposed more and more to how ppl spoke abt khaenri'ah, abt the abyss and hilichurls... he started to doubt it. a small part of him he hid well thought that their love was real, but for a Kaeya that didnt exist. for one that was simply just an abandoned child, that as soon as they learned who he actually was, everything would be off the table.

after everything happened, when he felt relieved that crepus had died still loving him (or a version of him), he felt guilty and disgusted with himself. like he needed to come clean and see if he was truly irredeemable at dilucs hand. and a bit of him still had that childish hope that maybe it was unconditional, that diluc would scoff and say it didnt matter. then that hope and love all got destroyed in a single second, any joy he had ever felt in his life had been unearned and tainted with guilt

diluc lost his father but kaeya lost everyone in his life and anyone he could ever meet in the future. it cemented every fear that no one would ever truly love and understand him because if they knew the real him the love would be gone in an instant. his life holds no hope for happiness, only longing and regret and loneliness and FUCK I NEED TO HUG HIM SO BBBBBAAAAADDDDDDD
