There were very few things that unsettled Vegeta, but to have an unsolicited request to see Frieza, that struck a deep fear into the prince's heart. As far as he knew, they had done nothing wrong, but then again the tyrant wasn't above justifying his punishment if he so desired.

With his face dawning his usual stoic demeanor Vegeta entered the room first, on the outside, there was nothing but pure confidence in every step Vegeta took. It did well to hide his growing anxiety and paranoia as he acted his usual part whenever forced to be in the presence of his oppressor. Stopping just a few feet away and kneeling, he lowered his head, glaring down at the floor below him. An act that made made him furious and sick to his stomach.

"You requested our presence, Lord Frieza" Vegeta stated evenly, though every word was a struggle against the urge to infuse his tone with venom. He fought against the impulse to meet Frieza's gaze with open hostility, knowing the consequences of such defiance. The humiliation seared through his entire being, leaving an indelible mark on his soul. He recognized that he could never grow accustomed to such degradation, each instance serving as a painful reminder of his own subservience in the face of Frieza's tyranny.

The humiliation deepened as they were ignored, rushed to Frieza's presence only to be left waiting while the tyrant attended to seemingly more urgent affairs. Each passing second stretched out like an eternity for the prince, his frustration mounting with every moment. Unconsciously, he felt the beads of sweat forming on his brow, a physical manifestation of his rising discomfort. Finally, after what felt like an interminable wait, their attention was at last requested.

Pet peeves: What are your twst OC's pet peeves and which one in the cast accidentally (or not) commit the "crimes"? How will your twst OC deal with that person?

Food: What is your twst OC's favorite and least favorite food? Why (optional)? Is there anyone they can share their favorite food? Is there anyone they can count on to take over the food they dislike?

Talent: What is your twst OC's talent(s) and who can properly appreciate that?

Unique Magic/Signature spell: What is your twst OC's UM (if applicable)? What can they do? What is the incantation? Is there any weaknesses/loopholes and who can exploit those?

Quote: Give me something your twst OC will say. Either something they always say or something iconic they said. Something that helps solve the problems or something that is a catalyst to even more issues.

yes, even if they're the same surgeries! and yes, even if the cis person is intersex!

that does not make a cisgender person meaningfully "trans" in any way what are you people talking about?

being transgender is kinda, fundamentally about being a different gender than you were assigned at birth! and the societal pressures that come with being that are always going to be different than someone who has the same gender that society assigns them!

like this line of thought implies that, being transgender is just a process of surgeries and hormones and medicalization? which, i shouldn't have to tell you that's transphobic but it kinda fuckin is !

I wondered if you could offer a piece of advice to someone just starting out on doing commissions. I noticed that your link for commissions goes to a different page. Is this done through Tumblr, or is it a separate domain? Would you mind explaining how you decided on pricing?

Yes, I'm a full time freelance illustrator for a few years now. My commission page here is quite outdated, completely forgot about it actually so thanks for the remainder to take a look at it...

If you just want to do commissions as a hobby/side-income for private people (no commercial projects), I would start pretty small and simple to get a feel for it. Drawing for someone else is a whole another thing and not everyone enjoys it. I personally always preferred to have very small batches and finish them all before taking new ones to avoid stress on either side. For pricing, you'll likely want to start relatively low and keep it chill and casual in the beginning, but do increase your prices bit by bit as your experience grows. Looking at other artists' prices around similar skill level/style can be a good starting point! It's often a lot of trial and error in the beginning, to find what works for you. It's all about finding a good balance so you both get a good deal out of it!

I used a separate site to list my commission pricing and terms of service, but you can also list them in a post or whatever you prefer, as long as they're clearly available to potential commissioners. You want to make it as easy as possible for them to get all the info and to know where to contact you! Some artists prefer to have forms that people can fill if they want to commission you, whatever works. I prefer to keep it simple.
