KIKI AYONA,, I’m shiny hunting for Zorua in Pokémon scarlet with no shiny charms or anything (used my herba on my shiny rockruff!) I’m awful at it tbh do you guys have any tips 🙏

zorua/zoroark/ditto are weird in this game... you can use the lock-on feature with ZL to check if a pokemon is zorua or not, and then you can use the let's go feature to check if it's shiny because your pokemon won't autobattle shinies. if it's shiny, sweatdrops will appear next to its icon in the bottom left and it'll refuse to attack. basically just run in circles where zorua spawns and check them all with lock-on with your pokemon on let's go mode!

also, even if you aren't using shiny sandwiches, i would still make an encounter power dark level 2 sandwich of some kind to get more zorua to spawn. if you don't like running in circles, you can also refresh spawns by entering a picnic and immediately ending it. i wasn't sure what you're struggling with so i just kind of relayed the most optimal practices, i hope this helps! if you aren't using sandwiches and especially if you don't have the shiny charm, it might take a while, but just stay persistent and it'll happen eventually!
