ttrpgs are genuinely so fucked because you go into them one time entirely unsure of what you’re doing and you come out of it a changed man having had three emotional epiphanies with characters and ideas that will be part of your brain forever but you get stuck in scheduling hell and it’s a constant mess of finding the right people to play with and other party members losing interest and suddenly you’re left with a longing you’ll always carry with you that nobody else can ever understand
