reading that dean food insecurity study uhhhhhh. i did not realize hiding food was indicative of food insecurity. i hide food.
#and I get so so so upset when my sister throws out food that’s expired or moldy#mine or not#I remember very clearly she threw away bread that was moldly and I desperately told her she should’ve waited and I would’ve eaten the rest#this happens A Lot.#ok so maybe. maybe i am also food insecure. huh.#I just thought we all saved food????#because it costs money??????#is that not a common human experience?????#like. you cut off the moldy part and eat the rest. do we not all do that??#I mean. my sister doesn’t. but i just assumed she doesn’t because she makes more money now so she can be wasteful#but my ass out here with free cases of water whenever Albertsons gives them away#actual fight we had: ‘Jackie water expires’ ‘it’s literally WATER it does not’
