Rock-Solid Wishes  || Eijiro Kirishima x f!Reader
Summary: you and the rest of Class 1-A prepare a surprise party for Kirishima
Author: Bear & Cass
A/N: since our beloved Red Riot has a birthday today, we decided to write a little fluffy fic to celebrate the occasion 💗💗
Tumblr media
Kirishima Eijiro woke up to the sound of his alarm clock blaring a cacophony of noise in his ear. It was another day, just like any other day, or so he thought. As he stretched and rubbed the sleep from his eyes, he couldn't help but feel a sense of longing.
Today was his birthday, a fact he hadn't mentioned to anyone in his class. After all, they were all heroes-in-training with plenty of their own concerns. And birthdays, well, they were just another day, right?
But as he sat up in bed, that nagging feeling persisted. He looked around his room, noticing the familiar posters of his favorite heroes on the walls, and it hit him: he felt alone. It wasn't the kind of loneliness that came from a lack of company; it was the absence of a connection, a feeling of being adrift.
Slipping on his uniform, Kirishima made his way to the common area, still pondering what to do with his day. He'd never been one to seek attention or make a fuss about his own birthday.
"Good morning, Kirishima-kun!” You waved at him from the couch, while enjoying some fancy morning tea that Momo decided to make.
Kaminari approached Kirishima right after your little greeting. "Heey there, man! You are up a little later than usual. You good?"
Kirishima grinned at your greeting, "Morning, Y/N-chan!"
Turning to Kaminari, he chuckled, "Yeah, I guess I slept in a bit. Just needed some extra rest, you know?"
Mina, who was practically bouncing with energy, couldn't help herself, "Hey! How was your night? Did you dream of anything exciting?"
Midoriya chimed in, "Yeah, Kirishima, did you have any cool dreams?"
Kirishima blinked and chuckled, the warmth of his friends' greetings filling the room. "Well, I might have had a dream about climbing a giant, unbreakable mountain, but other than that, it was just a regular night. Thanks for asking, guys!"
Bakugo scoffed, rolling his eyes as he leaned against the counter. "Only he could dream about something that stupid."
"Giant, unbreakable wall. Sounds just like you, Kirishima. Here, something for a good morning," Momo said, handing him a cup of warm tea.
"Hey, what's with that uniform, man?," Denki asked, wrapping his arm around Kirishima's shoulders and tugging on his tie slightly. "Don't you know we have a day off today? No need to be all fancy today."
Kirishima chuckled at Bakugo's comment. "Well, it's a dream, right? No rules in dreamland."
Taking the cup of tea from Momo, he nodded gratefully, "Thanks, Yaoyorozu!"
He grinned when Denki pointed out his uniform, "Oh yeah? Why? Nevermind. My bad then! Guess I got caught up in the routine. Thanks, dude." Kirishima loosened his tie and unbuttoned the top button, feeling more at ease.
Midoriya smiled, "It's nice to have a day off for a change, right, Kirishima? We can just relax and do whatever we want!"
Tokoyami, who had been quietly sipping his tea, added, "Indeed. It's a chance to recharge and be ourselves outside of our hero duties."
"Yes, we can take a break from tests and Aizawa-sensei being scary," you sighed before taking a sip of the delicious tea.
"From what Iida said, Aizawa-sensei was needed somewhere. Some kind of emergency, and since 1-A is the best class there is, Nezu decided to let us have a day off," Sero explained.
"OH! I know! We can go out somewhere! Just have some fun while we have the day off!" Uraraka said excitedly. "Deku, let's go, and we can take Kirishima with us!"
Kirishima grinned at the prospect of a day off from tests and Aizawa's stern supervision. "Yeah, a break from the hero grind sounds awesome."
He chuckled when Sero shared the reason for their day off, "Leave it to Nezu-senpai to come up with a plan like that."
When Uraraka suggested going out for some fun, Kirishima's eyes lit up, "That's a great idea, Uraraka! I'm in! Let's make the most of our day off!"
Mina leaned in, whispering to Uraraka, "Don't forget, we gotta make sure Kirishima has an extra great day today. I'm super curious about his reaction."
"Don't worry. Just let us know when we can bring him back," Uraraka whispered and then turned to Kirishima. "Eijiro, I bet you know about some interesting places we can visit today."
Kirishima nodded, thinking for a moment. "Well, there's this cool park nearby. It's got a really nice walking trail and some fun activities. We could go check that out, or if there's anywhere else you guys want to go, I'm up for it!"
He was eager to spend the day with his friends, especially if it involved having a good time and relaxing.
"Sounds fun! Let's go there, and then we'll see what we can do next. But you should change first, Kirishima," she suggested.
Denki patted his back. "She's right! It would be a shame to get your school uniform all dirty."
Kirishima grinned, appreciating the concern of his friends. "You're right. I'll change into something more suitable for a day of fun at the park. Thanks, guys!"
Kirishima quickly changed into a red T-shirt, black jeans, and a pair of comfortable sneakers. He returned with his usual enthusiastic grin and ready for a day of fun. "All set and ready to go!"
"We are ready too!" Ochaco waved at him while standing near the door with Izuku. "Oh, I am so excited! Let's go, let's go!"
"Have fun, Kirishima-kun! You two as well!" you said loudly.
Kirishima joined Uraraka and Midoriya by the door, and as they headed out, he couldn't help but feel the excitement in the air. "Yeah, let's go have a blast!"
At the park, they had a great time playing on the swings, going for a walk along the picturesque trail, and trying out the various park activities. The day was filled with laughter and fun, a well-deserved break from their hero training.
"Aaaaaaaaaand, they are out," you put your cup away and immediately got up from the sofa. "Mina? Sero? Denki? Do you have everything?" you asked.
The boys nodded eagerly. "Heck yeah, we do! I've never spent so much money on birthday decorations, but for my man Kirishima, it's worth it. I'll go grab them from my room," Denki summed up and ran to his room with Sero right behind him.
"Y/N?" Momo looked at you. "What about the cake? Sato can't join us, and he is the best when it comes to baking."
You only gave her a mischievous smile. "Oh, don't worry, I have plan B!"
Just moments later, you were standing next to Bakugo. "Ooooh, Kachan..."
Bakugo twitched and immediately growled. "Don't call me that! The hell do you want?"
"Well, we need a cake for Kiri, and you are one of the few people who actually know their way around the kitchen, so," you said as sweetly as you could.
"Nope," he shook his head.
Tokoyami looked at them from the couch, "Bakugo, are you saying you can't handle a simple cake? I'll even bet on it."
Mina continued decorating, creating a lively and colorful birthday atmosphere.
You gave him a smug smile, knowing full well this would work.
"I mean, even Izuku can bake a cake, but I guess it's too much for our Great Explosion Murder God, Dynamight."
"Shut up, bird face! And you two weirdo!" Bakugo snapped. "Fine! You want a cake for weird hair, then fine! I need basic stuff and lots of chocolate, and find me Icy-Hot. I'll need his quirk."
"You got it!" Nodding eagerly, you gave a thumbs-up to Tokoyami.
Tokoyami couldn't help but smile as he witnessed Bakugo grudgingly accept the challenge. He knew that Bakugo's pride would push him to prove he could bake a cake.
As he got up to go find Shoto, he was surprised to see Shoto entering the common room with a paper bag in hand. "Well, it seems like everyone's pitching in for Kirishima's birthday. Good timing, Todoroki."
Shoto nodded, his usual calm demeanor. "I heard you need a hand with preparations. I went to the store for paper hats. I thought it would add to the celebration."
"Bakugo needs you," Tokoyami gave Shoto a glance.
Shoto raised an eyebrow, his usual stoic expression revealing a hint of surprise. He hadn't expected Bakugo to ask for his help, but he simply nodded and walked casually toward the kitchen. He was willing to assist since it was for Kirishima's special day.
"I don't need him, but I need his damn quirk," Bakugo rolled his eyes, annoyed. "I'll need it for preparing chocolate."
You quickly ran to your room and brought back all the stuff Bakugo requested for the cake. "Oh, Shoto! Wonderful idea. Paper hats will be perfect. Thank you so much. I just hope Tsu and Iida will be back soon with snacks, and I also got this shooting confetti for everyone."
Shoto approached Bakugo with a somewhat puzzled expression, his head tilted slightly to one side. He wasn't entirely sure how to assist Bakugo in this baking endeavor, but he was eager to help. He quietly awaited instructions, resembling a curious puppy unsure of what to do next. "So?"
Bakugo scoffed and snatched the bag from your hands. "Just follow my lead, Icy-Hot."
You jumped in your place, clapping your hands. Everything was slowly settling in its place like a puzzle! Everyone was eager to make this day special for Kiri.
While the cake was slowly prepared and decorations found their rightful places, you went to Jiro, who promised to prepare a CD for the birthday party.
Shoto continued to work with Bakugo, carefully heating the bowl of chocolate, ensuring it reached the right consistency. He occasionally scooped a bit to taste, emitting a contented hum as he did.
Jiro had finished preparing the CD and had set up the audio equipment in the common room. Everything was coming together nicely for Kirishima's birthday celebration. "I hope he'll like the music," said the girl.
"I bet he will! I picked his favorite bands!" You assured, clapping your hands.
The only sound you could hear in the common room was everyone's chatter as they prepared the surprises. There was also the sound of Bakugo yelling in the kitchen, but it's not like it could surprise anyone.
Everything was coming together as you had planned, and you were so grateful for your friends.
Mina, with the assistance of Tokoyami and Denki, had finished setting up the decorations.
Iida arrived with snacks, further contributing to the festive atmosphere.
Tumblr media
Meantime, Kirishima eventually realized he hadn't eaten yet and his stomach rumbled. He turned to his friends. "Hey, how about we return to the dorm? I'm hungry..." The boy asked.
Midoriya nodded, sitting on a swing. "Sure!"
Ochaco checked her phone, seeing information from you and Mina that the party is ready. She poked Izuku and nodded her head, letting him know they could go back.
Back at the dorm, you made sure everything was as it should be. The only thing that made you worried was the cake since it looked like a rock and it was hard.
"Don't worry, dumbass! It's a good cake, it just has a thick layer of chocolate, so it looks like a rock. There's regular sponge cake with cream under it," Bakugo said.
"Wooooow! Look at that! Bakubro is really good in the kitchen! Not only with cooking!" Denki gasped, looking over your shoulder. All you could do is agree with him.
"Everyone! Lights out! Hide and get your confetti cannons, they are almost here!" Iida yelled.
You looked at Denki and quickly went to hide.
Bakugo wasn't really interested, so he just crouched down behind the counter.
Sero turned off the light, and everyone went quiet.
Kirishima, Uraraka, and Midoriya returned to the dorm, and Kirishima couldn't help but feel surprised by the quiet and darkness. Something wasn't clearly okay. "Where is everyone?" Kirishima whispered. "What if something happened when we were gone?!"
Midoriya put his hand on Kirishima's shoulder. "I think it's just the issue with electricity."
"Yes... I will go check," claimed Uraraka.
Quietly, they joined the others, receiving their own confetti cannons and party hats.
You counted to three, and then the lights went on. Everyone jumped out of their hiding spots and yelled, "Happy birthday, Eijiro!" while firing their cannons, bringing a colorful shower upon Kirishima.
Mina was one of the first to reach Kirishima, jumping at him and hugging him tightly, her excitement contagious. "All the best, birthday boy!"
Todoroki unleashed a mix of icy and fiery sparks beside shooting from his confetti cannon, creating a spectacular display.
Tokoyami's Dark Shadow picked Kirishima up, and the entire room erupted in cheers and applause. "Long live the Red Riot!"
Kirishima's eyes lit up with surprise and happiness as he took in the wonderful birthday surprise prepared by his friends. "Oh God, guys!!"
"C'mon! Don't tell us that you thought we forgot," Denki laughed. "How could we forget the birthday of our best buddy!"
You nodded. "Happy Birthday, Eijiro!" you yelled, jumping happily.
"C'mon, put him down. It's cake time," Bakugo said, placing the cake on the table. "You'll need this," he added, handing Kirishima a little wooden hammer.
Kirishima beamed with excitement and gratitude, truly touched by the heartfelt surprise from his friends. "You guys are the best! I had no idea you were planning all this."
He accepted the little wooden hammer from Bakugo, ready to take on the cake. "Thanks, Katsuki! Let's do this!" Kirishima's enthusiasm was infectious, and he raised the wooden hammer, preparing to strike the unique cake.
Everyone watched, excited to see the cake on the inside when the main door suddenly opened, grabbing everyone's attention.
Aizawa walked in, holding Eri by the hand. "Oh, don't mind me. I just brought one more guest who wanted to wish Kirishima a happy birthday. Go on, just like I told you," Shota encouraged.
Eri nodded and walked up to Kirishima. "Happy Birthday, Eijiro! I hope all your wishes will come true!" the girl said.
All the girls melted seeing Eri being a sweetheart, and some of the boys did too!
Kirishima couldn't hold back his emotions as he hugged Eri tightly. "Thank you so much, Eri-chan! That's really sweet of you. I'm so happy you came!"
Dark Shadow started the CD player and some lively music could be heard, and the party continued with laughter, fun, and a heartwarming sense of togetherness.
After sharing the cake and even more wishes, everyone brought Kirishima a gift. Even Eri got him something small. The biggest surprise was that Bakugo actually had a gift for him. The only person who didn't give him a gift was you.
You caught Kirishima and gave him a tight hug. "Happy Birthday, Kiri! I hope you're enjoying yourself! It's your special day!"
Kirishima held you close, feeling truly grateful for the friends he had. "I'm having an amazing day, Y/N. Thanks to all of you, it's the best birthday ever."
"Oh, don't thank me! I couldn't have pulled it off without our wonderful friends!" You giggled, squeezing him as hard as you could. "I'm so happy you like it, Kiri!"
Tumblr media
Kirishima sat in his dorm room, feeling content and exhausted after the wonderful surprise party thrown by his friends. He reflected on the day and couldn't help but smile. It had been a birthday to remember, filled with love and laughter. Now, he was ready to rest and recharge for the days to come.
You knocked on the door, waiting for permission to enter.
Kirishima called out from inside, "Come in!"
"Well, hello there, birthday boy," you said, entering the room and closing the door behind yourself. "How do you feel after the great birthday party?"
Kirishima gave you a warm smile. "I feel amazing, honestly. It was the best birthday ever. Thanks to all our friends and, of course, to you for planning it all. I couldn't have asked for a better day."
You walked to him and hugged him tightly. "I was worried you would be upset with us pretending it's just a regular day. You have no idea how happy I am that you enjoyed it so much."
Kirishima returned the hug, holding you close. "Mad? Nah, I thought it was awesome! You all really got me there. And, honestly, I wouldn't want it any other way. I'm lucky to have friends like ours, and to have you in my life. It was perfect."
"My Kiri," you smiled and kissed his temple. "Oh! Right! Wait." After a moment, you presented him with a box. "I wanted to give it to you when we are alone."
Kirishima looked at the box, his curiosity piqued. He took it from you and carefully opened it, revealing the contents.
It was a cute, handmade keychain of Crimson Riot. "Happy Birthday again, Eijiro," you said quietly.
Kirishima examined the keychain with a bright smile. "This is amazing! Thank you so much. It's perfect, just like you." He leaned in and gave you a gentle kiss, expressing his gratitude and affection, rubbing his nose against yours later.
You giggled, rubbing your noses together. "I bet you're tired. How about some evening cuddles? Just to cap off this fine day?"
Kirishima nodded, agreeing to the idea of ending his special day with some sweet cuddles. The two of you snuggled up together, finding comfort and warmth in each other's presence, and slowly drifted off to sleep. It truly had been a fantastic birthday, and Eijiro couldn't have asked for a better way to end it.

Many people who are quicker writers than me probably already said things I'll say below, but as the guy who started the debacle in the first place, I felt the need to chime in. I apologise in advance, for this will not be a kind post.
You say that MHA has better characters. Yet I found that even the Parahumans we really see for a handful of chapters, like Bakuda or Marquis, have more compexity and work put into them than a good half of class 1A. Sometimes combined. In fact, someone like Marquis or Lung has almost as many moving parts to him as Midoriya, the protagonist. Worm's characters are alive, with thoughts, drives and contradictions. MHA mostly has a bunch of tried shounen tropes with maybe a tiny twist thrown in here and there.
Speaking of contradictions. You say that authorial intent in regards to Taylor "oscillates wildly between being directed to think of her as a misunderstood victim of circumstance, or history's greatest monster." But why not both? Or neither? This binary is utterly reductive, because Skitter is intended to be a controvertial character. She does wrong things for the right reasons, and right things for the wrong reasons. She sacrifices everyone, including herself, in her hubris and trauma-induced inability to trust anyone. That's an arc, that's complexity, that's an actual, real character flaw that's something beyond "he's a bit dorky."
You say MHA has a better plot and messages. Let me ask you, what the hell is MHA's themes? I couldn't answer this question myself, so I asked a friend, who formulated two: "even the most ordinary person can make a difference", or "the world and its systems aren't perfect, but it's possible to make them better with effort". Sounds about right, albeit generic, but that may be a poor argument. Except guess what, MHA barely delivers on either of these. The first is infamously invalidated by Izuku receiving one of the strongest quirks in the world. The narrative tries to rectify this, but it also almost instinctively almost always says that Deku couldn't be where he is without OFA. The second one is no better. Sure, the big bad AFO got Aster Blastered. But what about the descrimination of the quirkless, the monstrous, the eugenics programs ran by people like Endeavor, the corruption among the celebrity-hero culture that Stain talked about? The answer is "eh, something happened, probably." There are some signs here and there of things improving, but they are barely coherent even after the eight-year timeskip, and they also only very tangentially tie into the main antagonist's defeat.
Worm has a clear main message, spoken clearly through Taylor's arc. "The strength of humanity is in cooperation, but not one achived through terror and authoritarianism". Themes of friendship, loneliness, control of others and oneself are repeated again and again through Taylor herself, Masters like the Heartbroken and Jack Slash, Bakuda, Case 53s, the Dallon family and of course, Scion himself. The Gold Morning is the culmination of all of this, both of Khepri's fallacies and humanity's final perseverance. Make no mistake, Worm isn't really a story about saving the world in the same way as MHA is, but I still find it hopeful, despite the darkness. Funnily enough, this is one of the few works I've seen that treats the topics of "power of friendship" and "murder is not a good thing" like a mature adult. It is also the only story so far that really sold me on these.
And because it actually has a theme and a message, Worm's worldbuilding trumps Academia's every day of the week. It's timeline is consistent, its Hero Organisation developed a threat system to effectively combat parahumans with just more or less regular SWAT (which couldn't be said about MHAs police, but that's neither here nor there), the powers themselves tie into the theme of mental health and loneliness. It's not flawless by any means, but it is coherent and purposeful, unlike MHA, that did a thing kind of for the sake of doing things. The fact that it's set 500 years into the future, Nezu's status as quirked animal, the Quirk Singularity. At least Worm, due to being laser focused on a single protagonist, has an excuse to not show things because they are outside of Taylor's POV, or really needed for her arc. MHA's things just feel like Horikoshi, indeed, had no idea what he was doing. Merely reproducing the tropes of superhero and shounen, instead of examining and reimagining them like Wildbow did.
And this is why I also never bought into "Worm is grimderp" argument. It's dark and depressive as shit, no lie here, but it is so precisely because it tackles dark and depressive as shit topics. No one 1984 or 451 Farenheit "edgy for the sake of being edgy". Though they are shorter stories, in all fairness.
And let's not kid ourselves here, MHA doesn't have "body horror". Frankly, saying this would be an insult to the genre. The main villain growing a few extra limbs for the final fight isn't horror, it's just the generic "monstrous form" shounen power-up. The downward spiral of Amy Dallon resulting in her own sister becoming and suffering as the Wretch is body horror. Bonesaw turning people into outward copies of the worst people on planet Earth is body horror. The inevitable absorption of Noelle Meinhardt into Echidna is body horror. Sveta Karelia at the Asylum is body horror. Shadow Stalker in Regent's interlude is body horror. They are so because the atmosphere, the fear, the horrible realization is given the time to grow, to fester. The MHA's "horror" is perhaps only slightly more technically complex than me jumping out of the corner at you and yelling "Boo!" loudly. And because of this fact, Worm can actually use its horror to reinforce its themes (loss of autonomy in particular) and character work. It serves a bigger purpose. Shigaraki just gets a moderately freaky Fortnight skin. Credit where credit is due, though, the artwork is appropriately gruesome.
In conclusion, MHA is to Worm is what a median MCU movie is to the Watchmen graphic novel. It's okay to enjoy, it's okay to enjoy both, even. But one clearly operates on a different level, and you failed to recognise that. And so I leave you with a quote from another mangaka, one who actually knows how to write long stories with good themes and shiz:

what if I made a post telling macadamia hero fans sad that their thing is over to read worm. Would that be funny? Could they handle amy?

Tumblr media
The heart has its reasons which Reason knows nothing of… What was sure is that you loved them, from the bottom of your heart. But it wasn’t enough for you to be completely at ease with the relationship that you, Eijirou and Katsuki are entertaining. Well, such relations aren’t usual and you prefer to keep it for you. What would it be if people, even your friends, discover this part of your intimacy and feel free to criticize, or worse to judge you and to deprecate it… Would your ‘couple’ survive all of this ? You prefer not to take the risk. A happy life is a discreet one.
But, your significant others are not on the same page. Like, for the boys, you’re all adults and old enough to make your own choices. You chose them, you brought them together, so why couldn’t you assume this decision ? Why three people in love would be so odd ? This subject was the only point of contention for you, that comes up more and more often. Like tonight.
The three of you were in Katsuki’s room, for the usual nightly cuddles. To have some affection before going to sleep, each one in his own dorm room. For the other students not to notice, Eijirou is the first to leave, and after a couple of minutes, you follow him. But tonight, the guys made a big deal out of it. You argue, explaining again for like the thousandth time your position.
“I just… I just don’t feel comfortable with people knowing that I am in love with two guys. Maybe it’s okay for you to share the same girlfriend, but this isn’t was girls do.”
“And who cares about other girls ? They just don't know what they are missing !”
Eijirou winked at you, trying to make you laugh and give it all up as a joke, but you weren’t laughing. He sighed, and let your mutual boyfriend try. And he did. Like Katsuki really tried. He took your hand, and made you look at his crimson stare.
“Please, Y/n. Let us love you in full view of everyone. I am tired, we’re both tired of paying attention to our reactions around you. We just want to give you all the attention you deserve and the love you generate at any time, not bottling it up or botch it between two training sessions. I don’t want to hide anymore, because this means we’re doing something wrong. And we’re not. So please.”
He’s meaning what he’s saying, and you know it. Katsuki Bakugou ain’t one to beg, for anything. But even if this was the sweetest and the most romantic thing he has ever told you, you can’t overcome your fear. Which deeply hurt the boys in front of you. The ash blond haired released your hand.
“Maybe other ones opinions matter more to you than ours”
Usually, when he’s this rude, Eijirou stands up for you, but today he’s way too hurt and he agrees with Katsuki. Too many words jostle on your tongue, but none were sufficient for you to express how you’re feeling. With obvious teary eyes, you stand up and leave quickly before bursting in cries. You try to convince yourself that you’re feeling this way because they’ve been harsh on you, pressuring you like this, but you can’t fool yourself. Nothing hurts like the truth.
But you made it. You managed to sleep, and in the morning, you decide that you’re moving forward and as usual, leave the situation as it is. But you quickly notice that it’s not the case for Eijirou and Katsuki. When you went for breakfast, they were already done and heading to their own classes. Usually, you have your have your meals together and they accompany you before going about their business. Usually, Katsuki cooks in the morning, and you make the boys tea. Usually, Eijirou takes all of the bags on his shoulders because it’s manlier and ‘every little training helps’. But today was nothing like usual. You tried to avoid your paranoia during the whole morning, but you couldn’t anymore at lunch. They literally rejected you. In front of everyone. Maybe you finally ruined everything by yourself.
When you arrived to the cafeteria, you decided to wait for them before realizing that they weren’t late, but they didn’t wait for you. They were already eating with some classmates. Sero noticed you, lining up alone for your lunch and staring, with a troubled expression on your face.
“Why isn’t Y/n with you today ? The three of you are always together… Something happened ?”
“She decided that our company is no satisfying enough for her. We would not want to force her.”
You weren’t that far from them, and Eijirou’s hard words were sharp and loud enough to reach your ears. He said it that loud on purpose.
“I thought that you and her had a thing… Aren’t the two dating or something like this ?”
Katsuki growled at Denki’s curiosity.
“None of your business, you dumbass”
“I was asking Eijirou ! Of course, no one would date your rude ass”
“He’s right, Denki. Our love life is none of your business”.
No one could possibly ask anything after this, even if they took each other’s hand. They ain’t persons to take criticism. They just proved you that you can’t cut off people’s curiosity. You’re just not strong enough. So you ate alone, and reached the afternoon training late, sorrowed and unmotivated.
Since your two regular partners for training were sulking you, you paired up with Midoriya, who needed help for his frontal attacks. You were strong enough to repulse him sometimes, by putting all your frustration into your fight, and you were agile enough to avoid him when he was too strong. It wasn’t like your usual trainings, but it was instructive in that you were learning new things. And suddenly, just when your sadness has eased a little thanks to work, everything went so fast that you couldn’t understand. First, your eyes caught a familiar vision. Second, your turned your head to see that Katsuki was proudly and fiercely kissing a blushing Eijirou, that wasn’t ashamed to kiss him back. Third, your eyes went wide open, and your mouth in awe.
“… - SMASH !”
Fourth, everything faded away.
Before you open your eyes, you can tell that you’re in a hospital. The smell of disinfectant and the beeping of machines weren’t misleading. And when you opened your eyes, The memories came along with the severe pain. You remember… Izuku, Eijirou, Katsuki… Recovery girl… The hero trainer… The ambulance… The injury, the pain and the cries… The sedative… And then nothing. You got injured during the training, you weren’t paying attention and you received Izuku’s attack you were supposed to block or avoid with full force. If you were a villain, he would have neutralized you, which was the purpose of the training. He isn’t the one to blame, nor are the two who caught your attention. From the very beginning, you were the only culprit. And just when you were thinking of them, you heard Katsuki’s voice grunt behind the curtain that was surrounding your convalescence bed.
“We have to see her ! Oi listen you-”
“We’re in a hospital, quieter !”
“Please, doctor, let us see her. We are so worry, and we need to be by her side when she’ll wake up”
Eijirou’s pleading voice was trying to convince the relentless doctor.
“You’re not her family, I can’t allow you to do so. I am sorry, rules are rules.”
Someone, maybe Sero, intervened.
“C’mon, boys, there’s nothing to do but wait…”
However, they didn’t give up. Kirishima begging and Bakugou threatening almost made you cry. You struggled a bit, but managed to talk with a husky voice.
“Please let them in. They are my boyfriends. Please…”
The curtain was withdrawn in a hurry, and in a split second, the blond and the redhead were by your side.
“Y/N ! How are you feeling ! Is everything okay or are you-
“Don’t ever scare me like this again ! I might lose my mind if you ever-
They won’t let you get a word in edgeways, checking on you and their concerned eyes scanning you. You started crying.
“I am so sorry… I am so sorry that I was stupid enough to hurt you instead of overcoming my fear ! I don’t deserve you, I-”
Eijirou hushed to you, while carefully wrapping his arms around you.
“Shhhh… It’s okay now, sweetheart. We won’t talk about this now, and not anymore. Nothing is more important than seeing you happy and smiling…”
“Besides, all those who were waiting heard you… I am sorry…”
“What a plot twist ! Seriously, don’t be… I am not afraid anymore. Today was horrible, and I got more hurt by the truth then Izuku’s hit. I am not letting anything between us again. I love you, and nothing will stop me from doing so”
Katsuki took your hand in his, squeezing it against his heart and peppering it with kisses. Words aren’t for him, so he lets you know his gratitude in other ways. With a kiss on your forehead, Eijirou concludes.
“If it took you approaching death to realize it, you're more of a dumbass that he calls you so”

Who is Mr.Midoriya?!
Warning Extreme Crack Ending Ahead!!!
,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
So currently their is a war going on at UA in class 1A and it's brutal.
So it all started when one morning when the whole class was excited for parent day at UA. Everyone was talking about their parents when they realized Midoriya wasn't there cause he was sick. This lead to Uraraka to wonder who Midoriya's dad was.. All of them had met Mrs.Midoriya but no one knew who Mr.Midoriya was.
Todoroki then proudly exclaimed that Izukus dad was none other than ALL MIGHT himself....he was quickly called crazy only for Todoroki to pull out his conspiracy theory board which convinced the deku squad.
But the rest of the class was unconvinced looking to Bakugou for answers only for said boy to nearly have a stroke at even thinking about Izukus dad. He ended up spending the rest of the day in the infirmary....After that the Baku squad and some other students immediately belived Midoriyas father must be some scary criminal or something.
Many criminals came to mind but eventually someone suggested that Midoriyas dad was AFO himself. Cause no one but that man could put the fear of God in Bakugou. Thus Deku squad now joined by Momo began to refute this claiming AFO could never have a son as adorable and heroic as Izu! But the evidence is all there AFO could possibly have a fire quirk and his absence in Midoriyas life would make sense....plus the Bakugou thing....
But some students mainly Asui, Tokoyami, Koda and Shoji beloved Mr. Midoriya was a regular workaholic with no criminal or hero associations. Also they didn't want to jump to conclusions too quickly.
So this left a great divide of AFO is Midoriyas dad vs All Might is Midoriyas dad vs Midoriyas dad being a regular dude who works alot.
So at some point after hours of arguing they all decided they'd wait till parent day and see who Mr.Midoriya was for themselves.
So parent day arrives and suprise suprise Mr. Midoriya is no where to be found. After a day of trying to glimpse Izus dad they find nothing.
Even though Izuku swears up and down his dad was there they just missed him.
Oddly enough though Mrs.Midoriya was allowed to stay after hours at the school and it was then in 1A's lounge when they striked.
The whole class asked the question everyone had been dying to know, who was Midoriyas father? All Might? AFO? Or just some regular guy?!
After a little laugh Inko assured them that none of them were correct.
You could hear a pen drop from how silent it was....
After saying good night to Izuku and 1A (who were disappointed at the revaluation) she walked to Nedzu's office.
After all she needed to talk to him about how many bones their son had broken recently....
Also to this day class 1A is still fighting about who dekus dad is no confirmation means it's still up for debate.

Can i ask for an emergency bnha request? Maybe main 3 with an S/O who’s hiding their grief (lost my grandma and 2 tios in a month) and she doesn’t want to seem weak or burden so she just shuts down during the day and breaks down at night in the dorm, until something reminds her of them so she starts tearing up during class and the boys confront her after?
A/N: I am sorry for your loss. If you need anyone to talk to, know that I’ll be here for you. I can’t imagine how you feel, but I do know that sometimes, letting things out is the best way to deal with your feelings. So please, don’t lock away your feelings, I promise that things will get better
Midoriya Izuku
If anyone could read you like an open book, it’d be Izuku. Not because you’re an extremely open person who wears their heart on their sleeve, but simply because he cares about you so much that he’s taken the time to learn about you, and now knows you like the back of his hand
So, when you walk into class one morning, he notices immediately that something is off. Not only do you not smile as you walk in, but you also don’t make any move to go and talk to your friends, instead opting to just sit at your desk. Your behavior worries him, at the very least, but he doesn’t ask you what’s wrong, as by the time he’s made up his mind, Aizawa is already taken his spot behind the lecture podium, telling them all to pay attention
Later, when he asks you if you’re alright, you simply shrug him off, telling him that you’re fine, you just don’t feel like talking to anyone at the moment
That immediately puts him into panic mode. There’s probably a million thoughts rushing through his mind, wondering whether he was being too annoying, if there was something that he’d done to make you upset, if there was anything important that he missed. It honestly throws him into a loop, and for the rest of the day, he tries to figure out why you you seem so different
Izuku is always a ball of anxiety, always overthinking, overanalyzing, and your relationship wasn’t exempt from this. He always wondered whether or not he was a good boyfriend, if he was enough for you. So, when you started slowly pulling away, he couldn’t help but think the worst. He almost automatically assumed that you were tired of him, or, even worse, he had somehow messed up along the way, and made you upset without even knowing
While he was going on several different tangents, you were holed up in your room, doing your best to conceal your sobs. In just one month, the world had taken three family members away from you. Every day you’d do your best to maintain a calm facade, not allowing anyone to see you at your worst moment
Since you didn’t want to bother anyone with your issues, you kept them close to your heart. In the daytime you’d keep to yourself, focusing solely on your work, though you didn’t really get much done. In the night, you would cry yourself to sleep, doing your best to keep your sobs as silent as possible. However, once you were finally asleep, you’d dream of those who you lost, and then wake up in a cold sweat, tears streaming down your face, and soon enough, the cycle would start over. It was safe to say that you didn’t get much sleep anymore
Your lack of sleep didn’t go unnoticed by Izuku. Once he saw the seemingly permanent dark circles under your eyes, it threw him into an even greater panic. Why weren’t you sleeping? Was it because of the upcoming midterms? Stress of being a hero in training? What was it? He desperately wanted to reach out to you and comfort you, but his fear of being rejected stopped him
Eventually, though, when you started tearing up in class, looking as if you were about to lose it, Izuku finally steeled his nerves and gently asked what was wrong
At first, you tried to deny that there was anything wrong, it was just simply the stress of school catching up to you. However, after a few more minutes of his gentle pressing, you finally caved, no longer able to hold back your tears. As soon as they left your eyes, Izuku panicked. He tried to reassure you that everything was alright, that he was sorry for pushing too much
In all honesty, he probably cried with you as well, since he’s a sympathetic crier
So, the two of you were just sitting in the middle of class, your classmates long gone, just sobbing as you held each other close, almost as though the other would disappear if you let go. After a few more minutes of tearful sobs, you finally told him what was going on, how you lost some of your family in such a short amount of time
Though he’s never really had anyone important to him die, and he may not be able to understand what you’re going through, he lets you know that he’ll be there for you if you need anything. He wants you to know that he cares for you, and that he’ll do anything to make you feel better
When you tell him that you didn’t want to be a burden, Izuku immediately rejects that idea. To him, you’re one of the most important people in his life, and he doesn’t know what he’d do without you, so it hurts him a little that you feel as if your issues would be a burden to him. He reassures you that you’ll never be a burden to him, and that he wants to be there for you, even if it’s your worst day
All he wants is for you to feel better, and he’ll be there every step of the way
Bakugou Katsuki
It’s widely known that Katsuki isn’t the best when it comes to comfort, and he’s even worse when it comes to people showing weakness
However, just because he has poor comfort skills, it doesn’t mean that he isn’t observant. So, when he sees you start to pull away, you better believe that this boy is both confused as hell and angry
It starts off with the little things, with you being rather silent in class, not speaking unless spoken to. Then, he starts to notice how you don’t bother hanging out with your friends anymore, and even the time that you spend with him is either cut short, or you don’t really say anything at all. He would also notice that you’ve lost the life behind your eyes, and, while you try and pretend that everything’s fine, he notices how devoid of emotion you look, how absolutely empty you are
When he first tries to ask you about it, albeit in a rather forceful manner, you shrug him off, saying that you’ve just had an off day, that you’ll be good tomorrow
Slowly, tomorrow turns into the next day, and the day after that, and soon enough it’s been three weeks and Katsuki’s had enough
While he’s angrily brewing in the corner, you’re crying in your dorm room, wanting nothing more than to just go home, where you can be with your family
It was a rather dark month for your family. Three family members had died in the same month, and you truly couldn’t believe it. It was almost like someone had ripped a part of your heart out, and you couldn’t get it back. Since it was such a short span of time, all of your grief had built up, and every single night you found yourself buried in your blankets, face first in your pillow, sobbing your heart out. You tried to be as quiet as possible, as you didn’t want people to pity you, or for them to think that you’re weak. You were in a heroes course after all, and death was a part of the job, so you felt that you couldn’t allow yourself to be vulnerable, not when you’d have to face death on a regular basis
So, you steeled your heart, and every day you would pretend that nothing was going on. Whenever someone would ask if you were alright, you’d just shrug them off, not sure if your words would fail you. You made sure that you did good enough in school to not cause suspicion, and you mostly stayed away from everyone else. Not because you didn’t care for them, but because you didn’t want them to catch on to your ruse
However, when the night came, and everyone was fast asleep in their rooms, you found yourself sitting in the dark, sobbing as you replayed your final memories with your departed relatives. You kept thinking back to the last time you hung out with them, thinking about what you said, what you didn’t say, and how you desperately wished that you could tell them you loved them once more. You wondered if they knew how much you loved them, if they knew how much you missed them
One day, on a particularly bad one, you found yourself sitting quietly in class, minding your own business when you stared out the window of class 1-A. Watching as some kids were still heading into the building, you couldn’t help but replay the memory of when you told your family that you had made it into U.A., the proud look on their faces when you screamed that you’d be in the best class of one of the most prestigious hero courses. When you reminded yourself of the happy looks on your relatives faces, you couldn’t stop the tears from falling from your eyes, racing down your cheeks.
As you furiously swiped your eyes, you took in a deep breath, doing your best to calm yourself. However, you found yourself unable to pay attention for the rest of class. You just prayed that nothing too important was being taught
Just as you were about to leave, getting ready to hole yourself back up in your dorm, you felt a hang tug on your wrist. Turning around, you found yourself face to face with Katsuki, who seemed to be pissed off. When you asked him what was wrong, he abruptly asked why you looked so pathetic
A little taken aback, you found yourself forcing out a laugh, telling him that you weren’t quite sure what he meant. When he didn’t respond, you looked towards your feet, apologizing for being annoying
That also seemed to be the wrong answer, as he forced you to look back at him, his eyes piercing into yours, almost as if he could see your soul
“What the hell are you on about?” He asked, his normally gruff voice turning slightly softer, as if not to scare you away, “I never said you’re annoying, I just wanna know why you’re so upset,”
Seeing the concerned look on his face caused you to burst into tears. You could tell that you freaked him out, as he tugged you into a hug, burying your face into his chest. He lightly scolded you, saying that you were making it look like he yelled at you. When you finally spilled what was going on, how you lost some family members this month, and how you didn’t want to seem weak because of your grief, Katsuki wasn’t sure of what to say
Instead of trying to say anything, he simply grunted in acknowledgement, letting you know that he was there for you. He told you that mourning the loss of a loved one didn’t make you weak, it made you human. The only thing that would make you weak in his eyes would be if you didn’t give your all in anything that you do
While he may not be the best at comforting a grieving person, if it’s you, he supposes that he doesn’t mind sitting it out with you
Todoroki Shouto
Though Shouto may not be the best when it comes to understanding social cues, it’s glaringly obvious that something has happened to you. While it may have taken him a few days to realize what was off about you, he could tell that something was up
The warm smile he’d receive in the morning, right before class, had disappeared, and instead of replaced by a thinly veiled look of sadness, though you did your best to hide it. The 3 AM chats that the two of you would have about life seemingly vanished into thin air. In fact, you seemed to be the one disappearing, almost as if you were pulling away from his life
When Shouto had first asked you if anything was wrong, you merely shook your head, giving a forced smile while telling him that you were just feeling a bit tired, but he knew that was a lie. He didn’t want to press the topic, though, as he just assumed that you’d work out whatever was going on in your life, and then things would go back to normal. At least, that’s what he told himself to feel better about the situation
In truth, a small, perhaps insecure, part of him was worried that you were distancing yourself because you were going to break up with him. However, when he noticed that you were actually avoiding all of your friends as well, he couldn’t help but feel a shameful breath of relief leave his body. Though he badly wants to ask you if you’re truly okay, he doesn’t want to invade your personal life, and he doesn’t want to force you to talk about your feelings, since he knows that can be a difficult subject
You, on the other hand, were having a hard time keeping a cool exterior. In the past month, not only have you had to say goodbye to one family member, but three. You didn’t tell anyone what had happened, nor did you truly plan on it, either. The idea of being a bother, or a burden, to anyone if you told them about your grief prevented you from speaking, so you decided to keep quiet and instead put all of your focus into your work, hoping that maybe, just maybe, you could work away your feelings
So, in the daytime you’d pretend that nothing happened, shrugging off any concerns that your friends and boyfriend would have for you, and insist that nothing had happened, while in the night you’d let out quiet sobs into your pillow, wishing nothing more than to be in the arms of your dearly departed
Eventually, your facade had cracked, just a bit, but it was enough for your boyfriend to notice
While in class one morning, waiting for the lecture to start, you were vaguely listening to the chatter of the 1-A students. Your attention faded in and out occasionally, not really paying attention, but it wasn’t as though you were called out about it. However, when one of your classmates had talked about a call they received from a relative, and how much they missed them and loved them, you found yourself having an even more difficult time controlling your emotions. As tears had begun to fill your eyes, you hastily wiped them away, though it didn’t really do much, as for the rest of the lecture, you fought the urge to just start sobbing. You just prayed that no one saw what was going on, and that you could continue your day as normal
Unluckily for you, Shouto saw the entire thing
So, after school, while you were packing away your stationary, you noticed a certain red and white boy standing in front of your desk. Bracing yourself, you forced a smile, looking at him curiously. When you asked him what he wanted, he stated that he wanted to walk back with you. Just as you were about to deny the offer, like you had been for weeks, he grabbed your hand, squeezing it gently, almost as if he were begging you to say yes
That’s how you found yourself walking side by side with Shouto, who seemed to be observing your every move. From the small glances that you allowed yourself, it looked as though he was deep in thought, trying to find the right words to say. Before you could question his actions, he spoke:
“I saw you trying to hold back tears this morning,” When he saw your posture stiffen up, he squeezed your hand once more, “And I’ve noticed that you’ve been distant these past few weeks. I don’t want to force you to say anything, but I do want you to know that I’m here for you”
For a few seconds, the two of you stand in complete silence. You can’t think of anything to say to put back up the wall you’ve had, though, if you did have something to say, you weren’t quite sure if you could even speak at the moment. As you finally allowed yourself to look at him, you couldn’t stop the tears from streaming down your cheeks as you saw the look of such concern and care for you
Putting your face in your hands, you felt a sob rip itself out of your throat, along with Shouto’s strong arms being wrapped around your form, as if shielding you from any other negative things in the world. You could hear him whispering small words of comfort, telling you how much he loves you, and how he’s here for you
While Shouto isn’t necessarily comfortable, nor well equipped, to deal with a person in emotional distress, he does try his best, and that’s good enough for you
Once your sobs turned into tiny hiccups, he pulled the two of you to a secluded area on campus, sitting the both of you down. While it took a while, you eventually told him what had happened, and how quickly life seemed to take away your relatives. He never interrupts your story, only listening quietly as you get your emotions off of your chest
After you’ve finished, Shouto envelops you into a hug once more, telling you how sorry he is for your loss. He tells you that you should never feel like a burden to him, that you’re entitled to your emotions, and processing grief doesn’t make you any less important to him. Though there’s probably a million words of comfort running through his head, he can’t seem to find one that feels right
So, he instead suggests that the two of you head back to the dorms, and for the rest of the night, the two of you are cooped up in your room, neither of you really saying anything. He holds you tightly against his chest, letting you cry out as much as you need to, never complaining about how there’s a permanent wet spot on his shirt.
He simply allows you to feel grief, to feel sad and upset and angry at the world, and, while it doesn’t feel great right now, you do feel much better, now that you have someone to hold you in these quiet nights

“what if you had it all / but nobody to call / maybe they know me / cause i’ve had everything / but no ones listening / and that’s just fucking lonely / i’m so lonely /
request status: closed
pairing: mirio togata x fem! reader (slight bakugou angst)
note: i’m closing reqs bc my semester starts next week and need a clean slate by the end of next sunday so i can get my writing and school schedule together. i promise i won’t go anywhere !!
you were sitting at your desk, hearing the conversation Tokoyami and Jirou were having about something. one ear was on the conversation and the other was hearing what Bakugou was screaming to Kirishima about.
“getting yelled at again, Kiri?” you asked, giving the two boys a smile. Kiri flashed you an embarrassed look as Bakugou didn’t say much but give you a quick glance before yelling at him again, “come on Tsuki, leave him alone?” you asked, trying to get him to quiet down.
he gave you a scoff but quieted down to a ‘normal’ tone of voice. you gave Kiri a wink before going back to the conversation with Tokoyami and Jirou. you could see she wanted to tell you something but decided against it.
“did you hear?” Mina said, walking over to the three of you, “there are some third years visiting us!! kind of exciting, isn’t it? hearing some stories from the upperclassman!” she exclaimed.
you nodded, “I heard this morning and yeah, it’s pretty exciting! I think if we get the chance to train with them, it would be even better. do you know who any of the third years are?” you asked her. Mina shook her head, “nope! ask Midoriya, he might know but I think they’re meant to be surprise!”
before Mina could say anything else, Aizawa walked into the class lazily, per usual.
all of you sat back down in your seats, hearing Aizawa speak on exactly the thing that Mina was talking about. you felt your hands get a bit sweaty, not really knowing who to expect to see walk into the classroom. maybe some over the top students? students who thought they were better than all of you?
it didn’t take long for the students to walk in, your thoughts immediately coming to a halt when you saw the blond haired boy walk in. your eyes widened a bit, not realizing that you might have been visibly simping over him.
Aizawa informed you on who they were. they were the end all, be all for U.A. known as the big three and who all the hero students should strive to be like.
you couldn’t help but feel for their shyest student. you could see the anxiety written on his face as soon as he saw all of your eyes on him. you wanted to tell everyone to stop looking but you knew that if he felt nervous about a confrontation with regular first year students, how would the actual pro hero field treat him?
finally, the attention was diverted to the blond who you immediately turned your attention too. you couldn’t help but laugh, seeing as how he instantly told the entire class to fight him with those excited arms flailing everywhere.
while you did want to take him up on that offer almost immediately, you were out of commission for the next few weeks.
you had gotten hurt while training with Katsuki last week and your knee had broken. Aizawa had mentioned that while you could have gone to Recovery Girl to get it fixed, it was an injury that didn’t need such urgent recovery and told you to sit out for a few weeks until it healed.
“take him up?” you asked jokingly to Katsuki. he scoffed, rolling his eyes, “please, he’d lose in seconds,” he responded. you laughed, trying to keep it down as Aizawa told everyone that they were moving to the training grounds to actually fight Mirio.
Katsuki was about to ask if you wanted help getting to the training grounds but upon that thought, he saw Mirio heading both your way. Katsuki saw your eyes widening, seeing how you got a bit flustered at Mirio approaching you with that contagious smile on his face.
“hey, you’re ( your name ), right?” he asked excitedly. you nodded, your heart stopping at the fact that he knew who you were, “Mr.Aizawa said you needed help getting to the training ground so here I am !” he exclaimed, “I’d love to help a first year who is in trouble!”
you stood still for a moment, not knowing how to respond him. it wasn’t until Katsuki moved past him, growling in your ear before jogging to catch up to everyone else when you finally payed attention. you looked at Mirio with a shy expression.
“sure, I’d love help!” Mirio grabbed the work you had been doing and held it to his chest before helping you onto the crutches, “so, you’re THE Mirio Togata, huh?” you said, trying to make conversation.
Mirio nodded, “the one and only! did you know who I was before hand?” he asked. you shook your head no, “ah, so you’re just assuming I’m popular?” he joked. you gave him a smirk, “or maybe you’re just assuming that I think that?” you replied.
the two of you started laughing. “but I’ve heard of you before!” he said, “really now?” your eyebrow arched in confusion, “nah, just kidding. the only one who I’ve ever heard of was your classmate Midoriya and how reckless he is out on the field,” you laughed nervously, knowing exactly what he meant by that.
“yeah, Midoriya sure is a cause of stress for everyone in 1-A to say the least,” you replied, “but he’s going to make a great hero, right along with everyone else in the class,” you added on.
Mirio saw the way your eyes sparkled when talking about your classmates. he could sense that you genuinely believed in all of them. maybe some more than others but he could tell that you weren’t trying to actively put anyone (outside of mineta) down.
“I bet you’re going to be the best of the class.”
your could feel yourself stop in your tracks, your crutches accidentally making you trip. Mirio without a second thought caught you, his arms holding you firmly in place. you didn’t dare to look at him, knowing if you did, you would get flustered almost immediately.
“you okay?” he whispered, “yeah, I’ll be fine!” you said back, limping your way to where Aizawa usually told you to sit.
you were trying to focus on your work, you really were, but as soon as finally focusing in on the work, Mirio decided to do what he did best, and flex before permeating into the ground.
“he’s so attractive,” you whispered to the closest person to you, that being Kirishima. he laughed, seeing at how your eyes basically wanted to pop out of your face when you saw him shirtless, “I think you’re supposed to watch them train, not watch Mirio the entire time,” he joked.
you rolled your eyes, not sensing the glare you were getting from the blond a few feet away. Bakugou had never heard you talk about any of your classmates that way before. yeah, the few side comments about how cute Todoroki was did happen but it was inevitable considering ALL the girls in class thought he was.
“I mean no disrespect Kiri but is what I would consider manly,” you murmured, not fully realizing what you meant. Kiri looked at you before whispering to you a bit offendedly that he was manly, “I told you I didn’t mean it towards you! I’m just saying, he’s very nice to look at.”
Bakugou growled, telling the two of you to shut up before going straight into the fray. you stared at Kiri confused, “any reason why he’s so upset all of sudden?” you asked. he shook his head, knowing exactly the reason.
“wait, I think they need your help,” you told him, pointing out that everyone was either screaming at how quickly Mirio permeated and how no one was able to catch him yet. Kirishima followed Bakugou and ran to try and get Mirio, in which he easily went back into the ground.
you sat on the bench, not bothering to watch them much afterwards. you were getting ahead on schoolwork which really worked out in your benefit when it came to being lazy as soon as you got to your dorm after classes. it usually meant stuffing your face with snacks or going straight to nap.
“hiya!” you heard Mirio tell you from the ground. you looked down, laughing at the smile on his face, “all done torturing my classmates?” you asked. he nodded, trying not to permeate to the point where he would flash anyone again.
“well, I have to go back to class. gotta make sure Iida doesn’t lecture me for being late again,” you told him, grabbing your crutches and seeing Bakugou basically run towards you. “come on, I’ll walk you back to class,” he stated, giving Mirio a look of near hatred before grabbing your things.
you tried to tell Mirio goodbye but Bakugou didn’t let you, telling you that he wanted to walk behind you to make sure you didn’t fall or anything. you wanted to question him about his sudden attitude change but seeing as how he was just generally upset, you walked back to class in silence.
“so, did you think they were hard to fight off?” you said, trying to break the silence. Bakugou shrugged, “I guess, not anything I can’t handle,” he said proudly.
you rolled your eyes, trying to smack him with your crutch. the walk back, you could still sense the awkward tension, however; you were kind of happy that Bakugou wasn’t saying much. your conversation with Mirio was enough to keep your mind occupied.
he could tell you weren’t even watching what you were doing until he heard Mina scream for you. you stopped your movements, waiting for her to catch up when she save Bakugou a look to basically scram.
“what the hell do you have to tell her that I can’t hear?” he yelled. Mina gave flipped him the middle finger before turning to talk to you, “Midoriya wanted to let you know that Mirio wants to see you again after classes are done!” she said excitedly, “I think he might have a thing for you, ya know?” she mentioned, poking you side.
you gave her a hearty laugh, not believing what she was saying.
“yeah right, what’s next? he’s gonna bring me lunch every day after today?” you said sarcastically. “something wrong Bakugou?” Mina asked.
not realizing what he was going, he saw that he was releasing small explosions into his hands, “mind your business, pinky,” he screamed, marching into the room, not even seeing that he left you stranded in the hall.
Mina let out an exasperated sigh, “anyway, he said he’d see you in the first year lockers after class,” she explained, “and you have to tell me how it goes! seeing Mirio suddenly take an infatuation with you is interesting. not every day you see a third year on our floor.”
you nodded in agreement as she took your book and folder before continuing to walk to class with you.
once the end of the day came, you could tell that whatever it was that pissed Bakugou off earlier still hadn’t gone away. anytime Kirishima or even Kaminari tried to say something, all they would get is silence or just incoherent screams from him.
“so, you’re off to see Mirio?” Jirou asked plainly. you nodded as Mina grabbed your bag from you, “I’ll help you with your bag and hopefully Mirio will walk you back to the dorms,” she said wiggling her eyebrows.
you wobbled your way out of class, not bothering to tell anyone besides the girls goodbye. Kirishima found it odd as you usually would tell Bakugou goodbye or even a ‘i’ll see you later’.
the hallways were a bit packed to move through them swiftly but eventually, you got to the lockers and saw Mirio talking to a few the students surrounding him. you gave the blond an excited smile, “here ya go Mirio! I assume you’re gonna walk my friend back?” Mina asked rhetorically.
you stared at the blue eyed boy who instantly grabbed your backpack and slung it around his back, making it seem like a child’s backpack with the way it fit around him.
“you asked to see me again?” you mentioned, getting tired of the way crutches felt underneath your arms, “these crutches aren’t the most comfortable and it’s getting kind of tiring to stand with them,” you complained.
“you left your pencil on the bench and wanted to give it back to you,” he said, showing you the glitter purple mechanical pencil. you stared at him, knowing that wasn’t the only reason, “ahhh, I guess you could see right through me, haha. the other reason was that I was wondering if I could get your number? to get to know you some more,” he murmured that last part.
if there was one thing you had to thank Mina for, it was at how crazy accurate she was with certain things.
“yeah, that’s fine with me!” you said taking your phone out and giving it to Mirio as he did the same with him. Mirio put his name on the contact like with a heart emoji next to it as you did the same but with a blushing face instead, “but now you’re really going to have to walk me back to the dorms, my arms feel like noodles.”
Mirio without a second thought, he grabbed your crutches and put them underneath his arm before swinging you behind his back in piggyback mode. you laughed as he carefully pulled on the leg with your broken knee to wrap around his waist, “hold on tight, sweetheart,” he said happily.
you hit him on the shoulder, telling him to move, “come on Togata, can’t have either of us get into trouble by our advisers for missing something,” you replied.
the walk to your dorms was relatively enjoyable. Mirio making sure that the conversation didn’t die out and you felt as comfortable as possible with you on his back. you gripped onto his upper shoulders as you finally saw a few of your classmates sitting in the grass, studying under the nice weather.
“hey guys!” you said happily. Mina smirked at you as Momo stared at you, surprise written on her face, “afternoon Mirio. making sure she gets to her dorm safely?” Momo said.
“of course!” Mirio replied excitedly, “that’s if it’s okay with all of you!” he added on.
Momo and Mina nodded, telling him it was more than okay. you let him walk into the living space where Sero, Kirishima, and Bakugou were at.
Bakugou instantly felt himself getting angry at Mirio all over again. it was like he was burning his stare into Mirio as you gave him kind of a dirty look for that. Sero and Kirishima could feel the small tension going on in the room as he watched Mirio help you get your bag onto your back so you could safely enter the elevator, him claiming that he didn’t feel comfortable entering the dorms all the way.
you quietly told him goodbye, whispering that you’d text him later tonight.
from that day forward, Bakugou felt the way you were now putting all your attention to Mirio. the way you would leave the dorm on some nights, completely missing your ‘study’ time with him to go hang out with Mirio in the lunch room.
other times, he would see Mirio waiting for you outside of the class, promptly doing what he used to. Mirio would be holding your favorite coffee and snack, asking you to come to his dorms to study with Nejire and Tamaki.
you had already gotten extremely friendly with Nejire as she took her place as your cooler, older friend. Tamaki was still getting a bit used to you but he could sense the way you felt about Mirio and vice versa.
yeah, he had saw Mirio happy all the time but this was different. sometimes, you were all Mirio could talk about. the slightest of things like a purple pen would have him talking about how he still kept the mechanical pencil you had left on the bench when you first met him.
one Saturday afternoon, you were sitting with Kirishima and Bakugou, having your mid-day coffee as all of you were talking about random things. your conversation was cut short as you saw Mirio’s contact pull up, asking you to Facetime in a few minutes.
“you and Togata are getting kinda close,” Kirishima said a bit cautiously. you nodded happily, laying your head on Katsuki’s shoulder, “yeah, he’s perfect, honestly. he’s so nice, the sweetest person you’ll ever meet, and to be truthful? I think he might ask me out soon.”
Kirishima gave Bakugou a quick glance as Bakugou stood as stiff as a bored, seeing your phone go off with Mirio’s Facetime. you got off the chair, basically walking away without saying goodbye to them as they heard Mirio talking to you, a bit too affectionate for Bakugou’s liking.
+
as class had gotten dismissed for lunch, you saw Mirio walking into the class, making sure Aizawa was no longer there. you gave him a smile, waving at him to come in.
“hi Miri!” you said, digging for you ID that you needed for lunch. he smiled nervously at you, “I brought you lunch! Nejire helped me with it and was wondering if you’d like to come eat it with us!” he said.
“of course, lets get going before we’re late,” you said trying to wipe the nervous look off of him. he grabbed your wrist lightly, “I promised Tamaki that if he saw you today, it would be with you being my girlfriend....”
you stood silent for a moment, everyone who was hearing the conversation waiting for an answer, “Mirio,” you whispered, “you dork,” you got onto your tip toes to give him a kiss on the cheek, “yes, yes I will,” you finally answered.
he laughed, bringing you into a bone crushing hug as he swayed you slightly. what you didn’t know as Bakugou standing in the back of the class, ready to rip everything in close proximity into shreds as he saw Mirio place a playful kiss on your forehead before grabbing your hand and dragging you out of class.

Jealous Bakugo x reader
“Oi dumbass!”
You groaned as you heard the voice call out from behind you. You haven’t left his side for more than two minutes and already he was on your tail.
“Hey, didn’t you hear me squirt?! Don’t ignore me, y/n!”
“Uh...y/n, I think kaachan wants to-“ you cut Midoriya off from stating the very obvious. You knew very well he wanted to talk to you. But after the stunt he pulled yesterday, you were determined to give him the cold shoulder until he gave you a proper apology.
“I know, Deku.” You spoke at a volume that you knew could be heard over Bakugo’s screaming. ”Just ignore him, I’m not in the mood to talk to Pomeranians with anger issues.” You took a glance at said Pomeranian only to see him glaring daggers at both you and the green haired boy.
You inwardly smirked as you turned once more to head into class, an angry boyfriend following soon after. As soon as the three were seated, the explosion hero decided once more to try and get you to talk to him, but was soon silenced when Aizawa entered the room.
“Alright everybody, stop talking. I’ve got a few announcements to make for your next training, so listen up.”
The homeroom teacher’s words fell onto deaf ears, Bakugo’s ears to be exact…All he could think about was the way you leaned on your desk, head resting on your hand as you listened intently to what Aizawa sensei was saying. Your slender legs crossed beneath your desk, your foot tapping away at a beat only you can hear, a stray hair tickled your ear, but you made no move to brush it away. Your soft lips were kept in a straight line, smiling slightly at a joke Kaminari made.
wait…you laughed at that Pikachu’s joke?
A low growl rumbled in his throat, clenching his fists to keep him from acting up in front of their teacher. Fortunately, he finished his announcement, and turned to leave to let the next teacher in. The moment he left, Katsuki sharply turned his head to glare at the blonde, only to see him still making jokes and getting more quiet giggles out of you.
Now THAT…made his blood boil even more. You were HIS! HE’s the one who should be making you laugh, not that short-circuit blondie.
Kaminari must’ve felt the burning at the back of his head because as soon as his eyes met Bakugo’s, all color drained from his face and quickly shut his mouth. Whether it was the tiny explosions blasting in his hands or the daggers he was glaring at his now trembling body, it definitely got his point across too
Stay. Away. From. You.
The ash blonde student smirked as his quirk died down, but it was soon wiped off his face as his eyes met your e/c ones. No longer did they hold the laughter you had a few seconds ago, your lips now turned into a scowl as you glared back at your boyfriend.
Honestly, you couldn’t even wait until after School?
Realizing his mistake, you see him ‘tsk’ and turn his head away from both of you. Thankfully, the new teacher came in and told the class to take out your textbooks. You sighed and shook your head, wondering if it was really a good idea to keep giving him the silent treatment.
Wait…yes…
Yes it was.
As the teacher went over the lesson, your mind wandered to the events that lead up to this. Which, surprisingly, was too much for one day.
Let’s see…
The two of you had decided to go on a date yesterday since it was the weekend and neither of you had and homework. Bakugo even suggested (more like demanded) to meet up at the cafe early to get the best seats in the back. You found it really sweet, even though he practically growled it out thought the phone call.
Still, the morning went without a hitch, you got your favorite drinks, your favorite comfy spot in the back, and even the little dessert that was always sold out when you came by after school. Heck, Bakugo didn’t even make his usual comments about the drinks and treats being too sweet, or too powdery. He even asked you if you had wanted more. Since it was too early for the regular customers coming in, you said yes. You believed that nothing could go wrong today.
Oh boy…why didn’t you knock on wood?
After ordering one more cookie, (to save for later), the two of you wanted to watch the new movie that came out just a few weeks back. You were so excited that, you hadn’t even noticed one of the baristas coming over to your table.
“Here’s your order, hope you enjoy.” You looked away from Katsuki to grab the little paper bag from him, smiling as you said your thanks. He of course smiles back politely. Before he could say another word, Bakugo beat you to it.
“Alright, that’s enough twerp. Quit eyeing my damn date and go back to your job.”
The barista was taken aback and struggled to say a shaky apology. Poor thing looked like he was about to pee himself. He turned back to face you, about to apologize again, but Bakugo’s voice cut through again.
“OI, I SAID BEAT IT KID! Or should I get my point across another way?” Tiny explosions boomed from his outstretched hand. It wasn’t enough to trigger the fire alarms, thank goodness, but was more than enough to send the barista running.
Bakugo, of course, laughed it off and continued to ask what time you two should watch the movie. You looked at him in disbelief.
“Bakugo!”
“What? He was looking at you like a piece of candy. Be more thankful I got him off your back.” He shrugged his shoulders, while continuing to munch on his treat.
“He wasn’t and you know it.” You countered. “Poor guy was just handing me my order. You didn’t have to use your quirk, geez.” You slumped on your seat and crossed your arms as your boyfriend took your tray and dumped out the trash.
“Alright, let’s go. We got a few hours before the movie start, but might as well get going if we wanna buy tickets. We can eat at that buffet restaurant for lunch and then have dinner at my place, how does that sound? I’ll cook.” You sighed and got up from your seat, taking the cookie bag while avoiding Bakugo’s gaze.
“Sure, C’mon.” You glanced up only to see his red eyes widen, before shaking his head and following you out the door.
On the walk to the train station, avoided his gaze even more and turned your head when he got up in your face. The explosion quirked student tried to coax you to get you to talk to him, but you stayed silent. You heard him sigh, then moved to stand in front of you, causing you to crash into his chest.
“Hey! What’s the big id-“
“Oh, now you finally talk.” You blushed and pouted up at him. He bent down to your height with his hands in his pockets. “What’s your issue now, squirt?”  He asked while gently flicking your forehead.
“You were mean to the barista and you didn’t even apologize!”
“Apologize? Seriously? You’re still mad about that?”
“Yes, I’m still mad! You didn’t have to use your quirk back there, and he most certainly WASN’T flirting with me.”
“What’re you saying? Are you actually taking his damn side?!”
“I never said that! I’m just saying you didn’t have to be mean to him!”
You pretty sure both of you were screaming at this point. You had stopped in the middle of the sidewalk, and there’s no doubt that you’ve already attracted the attention of a crowd.
“You can’t tell me who I can and can’t talk to, Bakugo! And you honestly can’t expect me not to talk to boys other than you!”
“Yes I can!”
“No. You. Can’t!”
“I’m your boyfriend, y/n! It’s my job to keep pervs like him away from you. You’re mine!”
“Pervs sure! I can accept that. But NOT friggin polite baristas who was just handing me my order!”
“Damnit, y/n, can’t you STOP with that barista crap?” Katsuki’s eyes were completely full of rage now. “What, do you like him now or somethin? Is that it?”
“WHAT?!” Seriously, where in All Might’s name did he get that from? “No. I don’t! ARGH! Why can’t stop being so controlling?”
“I’ll stop being controlling when YOU stop being a damn brat for once and just do what I tell you?!”
Oh…
That. Was. IT!
Before you could blink, a loud slap was heard, and you felt a slight stinging in your palm. Opening your eyes that you didn’t even know were closed, you saw Bakugo’s head turned to the side, eyes blinking as he let your actions sink in.
You felt a slight guilt in your gut, but you pushed it back down.
“Y/n, I-“
“You can forget about today, Bakugo. I’m going home.” Before you could let him follow, you turned around and threw the paper bag at his face, running fast and as far away from him as possible. You made sure, he didn’t see a single tear roll down your cheek.
You had put your phone on silent the moment you got home, not wanting it to keep dinging while you cried your eyes out.
Who did he think he is anyway? He was right, he is your boyfriend. But that gave him no excuse to say what he did back there. He’s just...just...
“ARRGHHH!” Your screams were muffled by the pillow your were crying on, thankful no one was home today. Needless to say...you really shouldn’t have thrown that cookie at him.
Your thoughts were interrupted by the sound of the lunch bell ringing loudly. You shook your head and blinked away the tears threatening to fall from your eyes.
“Hey y/n, you coming along?” Asked Uraraka.
“You guy go on ahead, I’m gonna do fix some stuff.”
“Alright, see you later!” She waved while walking off with Iida and Deku.
It was a lie, obviously …Since it was lunch time, Maybe...Bakugo would finally give you a proper apo-
He’s gone...
You really should’ve known better. You sighed once more and packed your books, wondering if maybe…it’d be best if you…well…you DID slap his face in the middle of the sidewalk…and threw the cookie at him…and.
“Oi squirt!” You jumped in your seat and quickly grabbed your chest. “Geez, you’re gonna be a future hero, but you’re get scared of me going up in your-“
He stopped talking once he noticed your angry glare once more. Katuski grumbled and rubbed the back of his neck, turning away and avoiding your heated gaze.
“Listen…just….I’m sorry, okay?”
Oh?
“I know…I was a jerk yesterday, and…YES! I didn’t have to say those damn things to the barista…and you.”
OH!
“It was a dumb thing to say and you’re not a brat. You’re not a puppet for me to control either. ” He staggered with his words, his voice almost sounded like it was cracking…but Bakugo still didn’t meet your eyes.
You had to keep yourself from smiling. Guess he had it in him after all. Before you could tell him that he didn’t need to say more, he continued on.
“I was just…Jealous….I hated the fact that other guys were looking at you and making you smile, and that I’M not the one at the receiving end of it.”
“Bakugo-“
“You should be allowed to talk to your other friends…even though they’re not me. And I understand if…if you…
“Baku-“
“IF YOU WANNA BREAK UP WITH ME, THEN I GET IT! I just wanted to apologize for…well….everything…and for the other times I-“
“BAKUGO!”
“WHAT?!”
You pulled at his collar and pulled in him for a kiss, Bakugo freezing for a split second before returning it. He pulled away first.
“W-Wait…why did yo-“
“You’re forgiven too, hot head.” You finally gave him the smile he loved so much and gave his cheek a quick peck. “And…I’m sorry too for slapping you in the face and throwing the cookie bag at you.” He chuckled, and kissed your forehead.
“It’s fine squirt, I deserved it. I’ll buy you another one next time.”
“Does this mean, you’ll apologize to the barista too?”
“Don’t push it.” He’ll cross that bridge when he gets there….probably.

Technically-not-but-still-technically House Arrest is finally over, much to your relief.
You, Bakugo, and Midoriya were finally freed from Aizawa’s punishment and proceeded with your regular schedules. And while Bakugo and Midoriya have a lot of catching up to do, the same goes for you.
Which you weren’t expecting at all, but you’re pleasantly surprised by a few students standing at your office on your first day back greeting you and asking for a scheduled meeting.
Slowly but surely, word of you and your practice has been moving around the school, which is exactly what you were hoping for. Especially since it got out that you were able to have a successful session with Bakugo, of all people, the students seem to suddenly have a newfound interest in trying therapy that wasn’t there before. It’s the progress you’ve been waiting for to report to Nezu, letting him know that students even outside of the hero course were asking about therapy.
Due to your agreement, you couldn’t give them a session. Your time was pointed strictly at the hero classes for the time being, but it wouldn’t always be that way. You had the interested students fill out a simple questionnaire once the idea popped in your head, which helped you immensely for your reports to Nezu.
They were simple questions, not asking anything too personal, of course. Things like, ‘why does therapy interest you?’, ‘what problems would you like to talk about?’, and ‘what are some of the things that stress you daily?’
The answers you received confirmed that you were right from the beginning- U.A needed a proper counseling team hired, and it would be best if it was sooner rather than later.
And on top of all that good news (though kids needing therapy admittedly wasn’t the best news, but at least it was being assessed instead of being ignored), Nezu agreed with you! After hearing and reading your reports on the students, he agreed to start working with you to begin making after-school programs and looking for professionals to hire. It would take a few weeks, if not more, but the beginning of your dream for U.A was finally taking big steps, and it was overwhelmingly exciting.
You haven’t been able to fill anybody in on your news quite yet, but your change in attitude was noticeable by the staff and the students. It’s especially noticeable to the staff when you come in one morning, cups of coffee and tea hot and ready that you had bought for them when they came into the Teacher’s Lounge before class.
Yamada enters with Kayama, whistling low as he quickly walks over and inspects the cups. “Ho-hey!” He exclaims. “What’s all this?”
“Good morning, Yamada,” you smile at him and nudge a cup his way, which he takes with a gleeful hum. “I was just feeling good this morning and I’m really thankful to how much everyone has helped me settle in, so I figured I could buy everyone a drink.” Kayama walks up as well, grabbing one of the teas, surprising you with her choice.
She notices, a deep frown on her lips. “You tempt me, honey, but I have to watch my figure!” She gestures to her body, which is on full display at all hours. Not that you’re a prude, but it makes you wonder how the pubescent boys and girls feel while in her presence. You’re not envious of them. “But I appreciate you very much, thank you.”
“It’s no problem, I’ll make sure to try and get something better for you next time,”
“Oh, don’t worry! A little tea won’t hurt me.” Kayama quickly waves off your concerns and she sits on one of the chairs available in the admittedly small room. “So? Why’re you so happy?” She raises an eyebrow, and before she can ask-
“Nothing that you’re assuming, I’m sure,” you tell her quickly. “Truthfully, it’s because my work is going well. My tenure here might actually be useful- Nezu and I are talking specifics on hiring other counselors, now.”
Yamada cheers, as loud as ever, “really?! Good job!” He wraps an arm around you and shakes you- if the coffee hadn’t woken you up before, you were surely awake now with his energy! “Does that mean you’ll be staying?” Kayama perks up from her seat.
“Oh, does it? It would be so nice to keep you around longer!”
“I’m not sure about that,” you laugh uneasily, “what the students really need is someone that can be fully devoted to them and their needs, you know? I can’t give that to them while I’m still working as a counselor on the side, and I’m really not sure if I can give up that job.”
“Aw,” Yamada frowns, keeping his arm secure around your shoulder as he looks down at you. The man was freakishly tall, honestly. “Shouta will be so bummed. Do you know how long your tenure lasts?”
“I sort of hoped you were giving up on that,” you deflate. “But, no, I’m not very sure. But it’s probably not for much longer. A month more, maybe two at most. Then I’ll be leaving.”
“Leaving?”
You and Yamada turn your head towards the door, and you get a face full of his hair, making you sputter and sneeze as he laughs at you and apologizes (but it doesn’t sound like he’s sorry). You shove him away so you can actually look at Yagi, dressed in his usual baggy, bright yellow suit.
“Morning, Yagi,” you greet him tiredly. If you said before that you were energized by Yamada’s behavior, you take it back now. He’s actually exhausting. “Yes, eventually. I’m not officially hired, you know.”
“I must have forgotten,” Yagi mumbles under his breath, looking equally tired but thankful as you nudge a cup of tea his way and he takes a long sip. You remember him telling you that coffee was one of the things on his long, long list that his stomach couldn’t handle. “I’m getting too old, probably.”
“How old are you, anyway?” Kayama asks from her seat and Yagi smiles.
“That’s a good question,” he says, and then looks to you. “You’re leaving in a month or so, though? That’s unfortunate, Shouta will miss you.”
“That’s what I said!”
“Nice job avoiding the question, pro-hero,”
“I swear the two of you never quit it!”
The three of you talk over one another at the same time, and after a moment’s silence, burst into laughter together. Despite everything, these people had quickly become your friends, and chatting with them like this every morning was a part of what made the extra stress and work all worth it. “I’ll miss all of you when I have to leave, I mean it,” you tell them once the laughter subsides, and Kayama coos.
“We’ll miss you, too. I’m sure the students will as well, you’ve grown on them.”
“That’s true… I don’t feel good about the whole making-a-relationship-and-bowing-out thing. It takes a long time for a child to feel comfortable talking to you about their issues, and I finally have that! And now that I'd have to leave…” You sigh heavily as you rest against one of the tables, crossing your arms at your chest.
“Give it some more thought, then,” Kayama suggests. “Everyone would be happy to keep you around, including Nezu. Think about all your options before you make any decisions.”
It’s good advice, but the truth is, you’ve already done that.
The time you’ve spent at U.A has been amazing, yes, but you’ve never been more overworked in your life. The stress of keeping up your two professional jobs has you tossing and turning at night, and the burden of feeling like you’re going to let everyone down isn’t good for your mental state, either. For your own health, you can’t keep working the way you are now.
You’re going to have to choose. And it hurts you more than anything.
Despite all of that, you smile at Kayama. “You’re right,” you say, and you try not to sound as tired as you feel, “I’ll think about it.”
—-
The first thing you have to do with your new duties from Nezu is put together after-school affairs. He doesn’t give you a lot to go off of- he just wants you to put together some sort of event or club that the students can go to after hours that will be good for them. Nezu is nice, but he gives you too much freedom. It’s hard to create ideas all on your own and be the judge on if they’re worth the school’s time and money or not.
You’ve thought of several things. The thing you’re trying to do is create an original idea that isn’t purely formed around therapy , per se, but a way for students to vent their problems in a healthy and calm environment. Your best idea has been a little something you called ‘food for thought’, a baking club students can go to where they can learn to bake and cook a variety of simple dishes, and while they bake, everyone gets a turn talking about something that’s bothered them or that they’re working through, no judgment. It can be a bit therapeutic to cook in general for some people, and if you gave students the chance to vent during that time, you think it might be something healthy and fun. And then they could all eat snacks afterward.
...But you doubt yourself again and think about scrapping the idea. There’s too many variables- some students might not like the idea of group therapy like that, and some students might abuse the club by coming only for treats and ruin it for everyone else. Plus, not everyone likes to cook.
You groan and deflate in your seat, laying face-down on your desk. This is too hard…!
Out of nowhere, your phone vibrates. It makes you reluctantly pull your head up, grasping for the device and wincing at the bright screen when it turns on.
It’s one of your clients asking for an appointment.
You take a deep, tired breath in, and let it out slowly. Slowly you sit up in your chair and open one of your desk drawers, fumbling around for your planner and slapping it down on the desk as you open the text and start to ask for details.
Your schedule is crammed, a lot more than it used to be. You end up feeling guilty not being able to see your patient soon enough and give up some of your free time in order to see them. Not that they know that- they thank you and tell you they’ll see you soon, and the conversation is ended.
Somehow, you’re even more tired than before.
Eyes wander over to your plush, comfortable couch. It’s a tempting idea, but… the scattered papers full of drafts of ideas for an after school activity are staring at you, so you shake your head at the idea and try to focus on the papers instead. You can’t afford to nap right now, even though it sounds so, so nice right now.
Your eyes droop, but you can’t sleep. Absolutely not. Your shoulders sag.
You fall asleep slouched over your desk before you can even realize it.
—-
Waking up is surprising, because you didn’t remember falling asleep. It’s always odd when that happens- opening your eyes and forgetting you even closed them, so it has you sitting there like, wait, what ? For a few moments.
You’re not even at your desk like you remember being. Instead, you’re laying on your couch- something you very much remember wanting to do, but you hadn’t. You’re alone in your office too, which is even more odd. You don’t think you sleepwalk.
As you slowly sit up and stretch your tired limbs, you look at the clock on your wall and see that it reads 3:20- school is just about to end.
Drat. You were hoping to get more done before now…
You suppose that’s fine- you can always work more at home and email Nezu if you come up with a great idea by the end of the night, but you sort of doubt that will happen. You go back to your desk to start gathering your things, but from the corner of your eye, a bit of yellow catches your attention.
There’s a sticky note on your ‘food for thought’ paper. Your eyebrows spring up in curiosity as you lean forward to read it.
It’s not much. It just says ‘good idea’ and then there’s, strangely enough, a doodle of a cat giving a thumbs up. It’s not the best drawing you’ve ever seen, but it’s cute.
Kind of strange though. A cat? Who even wrote this, anyway? Who was in your office when you were asleep?
You doubt it was a student. You’re not really bothered, but… the sticky note says it was a good idea. You were doubtful about it, but the second opinion makes you rethink your decision.
Maybe it wasn’t that bad of an idea? According to the mysterious cat-doodler.
Hm. You pocket the sticky note, and then put the paper with details of your idea in your bag as you continue to pack up. Maybe if you run into one of the teachers on your way out, you can ask them what they think. You should have thought about that earlier, to be honest.
Quickly you pack up and lock your office. You’re going to miss the train home if you don’t hurry, after all, and you want to get out of the building before the bell rings and the students crowd the halls.
Fortunately, though, you spot Cementoss- Ishiyama- at the front doors, and you wave to catch his attention.
“Ishiyama! You're heading out, too?”
The cement-like man looks toward you, and he walks through the doors, holding it open for you. “Mm. I need to make it to an appointment,” he says simply.
“I see. You wouldn’t mind if I ran an idea by you really quick? It’s for the kids.”
He shakes his head. “Not at all, I just needed to get out before the children did.” You grin and tell him you were doing the same- and then you tell him about your after-school baking idea.
By the time you finish telling him the small details, you’ve walked to the school’s parking lot and Ishiyama looks interested in what you have to say. “I don’t think that’s a bad idea at all. It’s creative, and I think the students would like having something to do besides sitting in a circle and talking.”
“Right!” You animatedly burst for a second- and then bashfully smile at your outburst. “That’s what I was trying to do. I’m glad to hear that it might be worth it. For hires, we could maybe hire a cook, and then the therapist who’d be willing to lead the conversation. That’s where my worry comes in- we’d be paying two people at most, along with spending money on ingredients…”
“Ah, I don’t think you’ll have to worry about that,” Ishiyama says, and he slowly comes to a stop in front of what is probably his car. It’s a big, heavy looking vehicle- which kind of makes sense. The guy probably weighs a lot and needs something he won’t crush into the ground. “We have plenty of ingredients and food left over from lunch time, and Lunchrush would be willing to chip in. It could be something that’s held once a week, maybe.”
“Ah, you’re right. I guess I just didn’t want to assume anything on his part, since he already does so much.”
Ishiyama laughs. “You’re very considerate, but don’t let that get in the way of exploring your ideas. And don’t let Nezu scare you- he’ll let you know if it works or not. If it doesn’t, that’s fine. You’re not wasting his time.”
The words are, quite frankly, reassuring. You didn’t realize how much you needed to hear that, and your body naturally relaxes a bit. “Yeah,” you smile at him, “you’re right. Thanks a lot, Ishiyama. I’ll let you go now- good luck with your appointment!” You wave at the cement-man as he enters his car, but right before he closes the door, you suddenly remember something as you light up. “Oh! I had one more question?”
He looks up at you as he keeps his door open.
“Do you know anyone that likes cats?”
The question is an odd one, and his cemented eyebrows raise in surprise, but you don’t really have a proper explanation. Ishiyama thinks about it, and then he says, “the only person I know who actively likes cats is Aizawa.”
It’s your turn to be surprised. Really? You had no idea.
“Huh,” you say aloud. “Well- anyway, thanks a lot for your input! I’ll see you tomorrow!”
You wave off Ishiyama as he drives off, and once he’s gone, you pull out the sticky note still in your pocket. Aizawa likes cats, huh…? He might have been the person who looked over your paper, then, and he probably moved you over to the couch when you fell asleep at your desk.
The thought makes your chest warm. That was certainly nice of him, if that’s the case. But- ah!
The school bell rings, and you jolt into action. If you’re not quick, you’re going to miss your train home!
—-
Your phone had died on the train ride home.
It was tragic, honestly, because that meant you didn’t have anything to distract yourself with as you swayed in the crowded cart during your long ride home. No music, no texts, no articles… you busted yourself by reading the ads on the ceiling of the train, but there was only so much to read, honestly.
By the time you got home, you quickly plugged in your phone and started to make yourself some dinner. It wasn’t until after your dinner, which was just some quick and easy curry and rice from a package, that you were able to look at your phone again.
There’s several text messages waiting for you.
Some of them are from Yamada, and then there’s a few from a client of yours. But there’s an odd contact among them that you never saw in your messages.
Who knew Shouta actually texted people? He seems like the call-only type.
You click on his messages first. There’s three of them, all sent at different times during the day.
Shouta (7:43am): Thank you for the drinks. Glad to hear your work is going well.
You wonder who told him, but you figure it was probably Yamada.
Shouta (1:30pm): If you keep sleeping during work hours, you’re going to want to get a sleeping bag.
So it was him who was in your office! You should have known he’d be a cocky bastard about it, too.
Shouta (4:10pm): Bakugo only yelled five times today?
The last one was kind of funny. Without thinking, you reply back to him.
You (6:45pm): Thanks for the sleeping bag idea, but I’ll pass for now. It was sweet of you to move me to the couch, but next time you’ll need to wake me up instead!
You (6:45pm): Did you see Bakugo go anywhere after class?
Surprisingly, you don’t have to wait at all for his reply.
Shouta (6:45pm): You looked like you needed it.
Shouta (6:46pm): He didn't go to his dorm, but he stayed on campus. Why?
Hmm. You wiggle on your bed, plugging your phone out of its charger so you can relax in a comfortable position as your fingers tap on the screen.
You (6:47pm): I guess if anyone’s a good judge of someone’s need for sleep, it’s Mr.Baggy Eyes, huh? Go figure
You (6:47pm): also, that’s confidential. But I think he deserves a lollipop at this point. Bakugo cares a lot more than he likes to show, but the fact he’s actually thinking about our session and considering some new methods says a lot about his character. Thanks for telling me.
Shouta doesn’t say anything after that, at least not right away, so you move on and look at your other messages. Yamada’s are a bunch of absurd internet pictures, so nothing too important, and your other client who texted you is asking for a reschedule.
It takes a bit of back and forth with your client until you eventually decide on a new date where both of you have time- thankfully, it didn’t require you taking time out of your weekend more than you already have. By the time you’re done, you have one new message from Shouta.
Shouta (6:56pm): You’re right about that. Bakugo is difficult, but with some help, he’ll be able to do a lot for society. Hopefully you’ll be around enough to see him change. His trust doesn’t come easy.
The words make a heavy feeling in your stomach drop. Without meaning to, Shouta has stabbed you in the gut with guilt, and you’re feeling even more about your decision to leave U.A.
How could you leave, really? The students need you- but so do your clients.
Stress builds up in your shoulders again, and staring down at Shouta’s message, your head swarms with bad thoughts.
Anxiety and discomfort rolls over you in waves.
And you don’t really have anyone to confide in. Part of you feels like talking to Shouta- but you’re not really that close to each other yet. You doubt he wants to hear your complaints about work.
Shouldn’t you be grateful for your opportunity?
You blink as you barely make a reply, and then you toss your phone to the side once you turn it off. Your eyes look at the ceiling of your room, and despite the exhaustion deep in your bones, you’re suddenly wide awake.
You feel like you won’t be going to sleep tonight, as much as you would like to.
You (7:08pm): You’re right. I’ll try my best.
——
Coming into work the next morning is dreadful. The only thing keeping you awake and mildly aware of your surroundings is the caffeine that’s running through you- you’ve drank so much coffee and energy drinks that you wouldn’t be surprised if it’s a part of your bloodstream at this point. You look like a mess, but there’s work to be done.
It’s Friday, which is usually nice, because Saturday is your only day off. But you sacrificed your Saturday for a session tomorrow, so there’s no promise of a break for you for at least another week.
Overnight, due to your lack of sleep, you thought of three other ideas for after-school activities the students might like, and you sent all of them over to Nezu once the sun began to rise and you decided it was an appropriate hour to message him. He hasn’t gotten back to you yet, but that’s unsurprising.
With nothing else to do, you got on the train early enough that it's not even that crowded. You still can’t find a seat, but that’s fine. You’re afraid if you sit down and relax for more than a moment, you might fall apart.
Hence why you’re heading to work several hours early. Hopefully you’ll be able to pull yourself together before work starts.
You stumble a bit each time the cart shakes when it comes to a stop, but eventually you get off and walk to U.A. It’s practically empty, which is also unsurprising, but the doors are open for you, so that’s good. You were a bit worried it might all be locked down.
As you head to your office, it’s eerily quiet in the building. Beside the sound of your shoes tapping on the floor, there’s nothing. It’s a bit unsettling.
Maybe that’s just because you haven’t slept at all recently and your anxiety is through the roof at the moment. Who knows? Regardless, you make it to your office with no issues. But when you open the- unlocked- door, you jump.
And then you slam the door shut with a surprised scream.
“Oh my god!” You yell at the door, and you can hear the people scrambling from inside your office. “What’re you doing?! On my couch?!”
Kayama speaks up, her voice just a lilt higher than it usually is. “Would you believe me if I said it was nothing??”
“No! No I wouldn’t!” You yell back, and you rub your eyes with the heel of your palms. “I will never be able to wash my eyes from what I just saw, Jesus-“
“We’re sorry!! You’re really early!”
“Do you always do this shit on my couch?! I have students sit on that thing- oh my GOD, I was laying on it yesterday!”
“No- we swear-“
And then suddenly, as if from nowhere, Shouta is coming from around the corner with his face twisted up in confusion. “What’s going on?” He asks as he walks up to you, and you gesture angrily toward your closed door.
“Yamada and Kayama were fucking on my couch!”
“No we weren’t!!” Yamada’s screechy, way too loud voice denies.
“Yeah, tell me that again as if you’re not scrambling to put clothes on right now.” You huff, and Shouta’s eyebrows have successfully disappeared beyond his hairline. “Did you have any idea about this?” You look toward him, a hateful look in your eye- but he quickly shakes his head.
“I just got here. I was actually- well.” He looks toward your office. “I was going to nap.”
“ Lord - does everyone use my office as they so please? Do the keys I own mean nothing?”
Yamada wails, “we’re sorry- “
“Shut! Shut it!” You snap.
This is the worst. You have had no sleep, no food. You’re overworked and stressed enough as is- this was just the last straw.
“Clean up my office. Get rid of all your ridiculous germs- the door, my desk, the couch- anywhere the two of you touched needs to be squeaky clean or else.”
You’ve never been the type to really get mad, especially at your friends. Especially at friends who you haven’t even been friends with for less than a year. You try to keep your cool. This was just… bad timing.
“Yes, right. We promise,” Kayama says from beyond the door.
“And you-“ you point at Shouta, who is more than a bit surprised at your tone, and his face shows it. “You haven’t had sex in my office, have you?”
“Never.”
“Good.” You let out a frustrated breath. “Then you’re invited to get breakfast with me so I can cool down while those two put themselves together.”
He doesn’t really need much more convincing. He’s already walking by your side as you turn around, walking much faster than you normally do as you head for the front doors.
Shouta walks a bit faster and opens the door for you, too, which you barely mumble a thanks for.
It’s quiet as you walk down the sidewalk in the early morning, but eventually Shouta speaks up, keeping up with your pace easily. “Do you know where you’re going?”
You stop in your tracks.
“No.” You bite your lip as you frown, and you truthfully can’t even look at him. Instead, you keep your eyes on the ground, at the pebbles on the ground. “Do you know anywhere to go?”
“...Yeah. Follow me,” his voice is surprisingly soft as he reaches forward and nudges your arm his direction, and you both turn around as he takes the lead. You don’t walk for long, crossing a few streets and making a few turns, until you’re at the same place that Shouta brought you to last time.
The familiarity as you enter the restaurant makes you relax just a little bit.
“So,” Shouta starts once the two of you sit at a booth. A waiter handed you both a menu, but you haven’t opened it yet. “You’re not usually so tense.”
Shouta doesn’t make meaningless observations, you know that much about him. He’s inviting you to talk about why you’re acting strangely, and you’re tired enough that you take the bait.
You vent. You vent and vent and vent about everything you’ve been feeling lately- stressed from two jobs, guilty for having to leave, not wanting to leave, tired, upset you have to give up your free time, upset you can’t talk to anybody about your feelings, anxious that you’re not good enough- all of it.
You’re a therapist, so you know how important it is to communicate your feelings, but you haven’t been doing it for yourself. You should know better, but it’s hard. You tell all of that to him too, even though he didn’t ask for any of it.
He gave you an opportunity to speak, so you did. All of it.
And by the time you’re done, your food (which you don’t even remember ordering, so Shouta must have done it when you were busy ranting) is sitting hot in front of you and ready to be eaten. You feel like a hot pile of blubber by the time you’re done, releasing a big sigh full of all the ghosts that have haunted you the past few days. And then you stab your fork into your food, and it feels oddly gratifying.
“...Sorry.”
Shouta just barely moves his head as he closes his eyes- a fairly weak version of shaking his head as a way to deny your apology. “I’d be on my last wire if I saw Nemuri and Hizashi fucking, too.”
Despite yourself, you snort.
“I know you haven’t worked at U.A for long, but if you wanted to ask for a day off, I think Nezu would be willing.” You barely open your mouth before he’s already shutting down your argument, “you want to help the students, and I understand that. But how much are you going to help them in this state? You can’t do anything if you’re doubting yourself and you’re sleep deprived on top of it all.”
Brutally honest, but they’re words you needed to hear. You sink into your seat and nibble on your food instead of arguing with him, which Shouta snorts amusedly at as he eats his food too.
Once again, he pays for the meal, but you don’t really try to argue about that, either. You appreciate how considerate he’s being right now.
“You’re right, and you know it too, so I don’t really have to say it. But you’re right.” Shouta smiles as you play with your fork, food now finished. “I haven’t had a day off in so long, I guess I forgot they existed. I don’t even know what I’d do, besides sleeping a lot.”
“Sleeping is always nice,” He comments and you roll your eyes, because of course he’d say that.
“What do you do on your days off?” Shouta gives you a look and you click your tongue. “Right.” Sleeping.
“Could always go out of town. Have a day trip.”
“I suppose, but I’m not really sure where I’d go,” you hum thoughtfully. “I’m not really sure what I even like to do… I know I like spending time with you. But I guess you have even less time than I do to really go anywhere, huh?”
You’re too out of it to really think about what you just admitted, and you’re looking out the window so you don’t see how Shouta’s face shifts at your little confession. “If you’re fine with me being on patrol, we could go somewhere. That’s probably the best I can do.”
And you’re also not aware of how foreign it feels for him to offer his time up like that for another person. You really have no idea- you just smile at him and light up. “Yeah, that’d be fine! Just having a day out, walking around and all that sounds nice. Aw man, it’s kind of exciting now,” you laugh, your eyes squeezing shut as your nose scrunches up.
Shouta discreetly looks away.
“I’m not very exciting, but whatever you say.”
“Well, that’s true,” ow, “you’re relaxing. And I think I need to relax more than I need excitement, really.” Oh.
He just hums in response.
“Well, anyway. Thanks a lot for letting me say all that. It was really nice of you,” you move the subject along, rummaging through your things until you find your phone and click it on. “It’s still awhile until class starts, but we should head back and check on the two love birds.”
“Hopefully they’re decent by now.” Shouta rolls his eyes, scooting out of the booth with you, and with the food already paid for, you both walk out of the diner together.
“I really can’t believe those two to begin with. Did you have any idea they were together?” You look up at him as you walk.
“Honestly? No. And that’s on purpose. I don’t want to know.”
You laugh. “That’s fair.”
Shouta hums again in response, and the two of you chat some more as you head back to U.A together. It’s nice that you can feel a bit lighter than before, now.
But it’s not fair. It’s not fair that now you’re feeling better, a bit more energized than before, you completely miss the way that Shouta looks at you. The way he’s been looking at you ever since you were exploding with anger at his two best friends.
A look that’s a bit too akin to attraction.

Please Let Me Take You Ch 1
Here is the start of my BakugouxReaderxKirishima fic!
Warning: NSFW, Cheating, Mentions of Injuries, Drinking
Summary:
You were the fiancee of one of the Top Five Heroes- Bakugou Katsuki. Like all things, he was passionately devoted to your relationship as long as it didn't get in the way of his hero work. And hero work is why he hasn't been home in days, why you only see him for quick, kinda uncomfortable sex every once in a while, and why you aren't able to move closer to a place that has a job in your field. Yeah, that has to be it. He's just a really good hero. Like your best friend Ochako's husband... who is home every night doting on his pregnant wife...
No matter, you won't be that clingy girlfriend. It was just a settling-in phase. You'll just grin and bear it, and it will all work out, right?
Until then, maybe you could make a few more friends while you waited for Katsuki to come home.
A03 PLMTY MASTERLIST
It was another night of watching him on your television. How high and mighty he looked, snapping at the reporters huddled around him. Although he sounded angry, the pride and haughty tone he held said differently. You muted the report, unwilling to listen to him talk down to his pandering masses any longer. It wasn’t a surprise, he had warned you from the first date that his work took preference. What you didn’t expect was how you now felt like a guest in your own home.
You felt like you were barely there, existing. Melting into the decorations-none of which were yours. You had moved in with Katsuki Bakugou six months ago, although you had been together for almost five years. Your head rested on your hand as you glanced over your living room, sparse and designer. It looked more like a showroom than anything. Why wouldn’t it, no one was ever home to live in it. A glint of red caught your eye, prompting you to look at the extravagant ring nestled on your finger, sharp points tugging on your skin.
He proposed a few months ago in this very living room, not that many people even knew you existed. You were a blank face in the eyes of the public, “Ground Zero’s Fiancee.” No name, no pictures, just sparse mentions every few months when some cocky reporter decided to dig into Katsuki’s personal life. You would be a liability if people knew who you were, he said, and like always you gritted your teeth and nodded along. It was all part of the package for dating a hero and not being one yourself. You wondered if he would even make it home tonight.
Maybe you were being too harsh on him, but it was hard not to think about how different your life was now compared to when you first met him.
You were 23 when you met him, in a new town, working towards a new degree. You didn’t have time for anything besides your studies. No new friends, no new hobbies, just your head stuck in a book. You were skimming over the material you needed for the day’s classes as you stumbled off of the train and onto the sidewalks. He had been out of his hero costume, but people still moved out of his way as he strolled along. Except you, too busy to notice.
You ran headfirst into his chest but he didn’t budge. You simply looked up with a glower, straightening out any papers that bent during your collision. With usual Katsuki grace, he scoffed down at you.
“Most normal people apologize when they run into someone.” You sneered at the boy, causing his eyes to widen. The two of you would bicker for the next ten minutes until you noticed the time and ran off, not even dignifying the angry boy with an explanation. You had, however, left without some of your documents.
It was a lucky break for him that the papers you left had been for a resume. Your name, phone number, and address were printed neatly in the corner. That’s how he found you that night, waiting outside your apartment building as you drug yourself in from a long day. You remembered his smirk as he talked to you.
“You really don’t know who I am, do you?” You shook your head.
“Why, are you supposed to be famous?” He let out a bark of a laugh.
”Let me treat you to dinner and I’ll let you know.” An answer wasn’t expected, he had already turned to walk off, motioning for you to follow.
The following years were filled with precious memories. If they hadn’t been, you think you would have already left. Every time you thought of leaving, you remembered the times Katsuki would show up in the middle of the night. Sometimes he just wanted to be next to you, laying on your chest with your hands in his hair. Other times he came still bleeding from a recent attack. You lost count of how many nights you had sat on the edge of your bathtub stitching shut the gashes and cleaning the scrapes. Even the seldom times he introduced you to his friends were precious memories for you. You don’t know how you could have survived this relationship without the unwavering support of Mina and Ochako. Even Kaminari had grown on you in time. What would you do without them now?
All you had was a cold, empty house, a degree that was little more than another frame on the wall, and fewer friends than you could count on one hand.
You turned your attention back to the television. Katsuki wouldn’t be home any time soon if the attack you were watching was live. This meant you had two options: Sit at home to wait diligently for your fiance to return and hope he doesn’t crash at the office, or leave and do something with yourself. The choice seemed easy to you now, the house seemed to be closing in on you. Your fingers flew over your phone screen, sending a swift message before you flew out the front door.
Ochako opened her door at your first knock. She tried enthusiastically to hug you, but it was pretty difficult for her to maneuver around her distended stomach. Katsuki didn’t necessarily like you being so close to Mrs. Midoriya, but she was one of the few people you could talk to candidly about your life with the pro-hero. He liked it even less after her pregnancy announcement, complaining that it was only another thing Midoriya had beaten him to. You honestly thought the whole rivalry was a bit one-sided and childish, but he wouldn’t hear of it.
Of course, after learning that and being recently engaged, Katsuki had convinced you that the two of you should try. You weren’t sure if you were happy that he hadn’t been home at the right time for you to fall pregnant or not. Just another drop in the bucket of things that hadn’t been going right.
You shook yourself from your thoughts, you came here with the intent to leave your thoughts of Katsuki at home. Ochako deserved more than to be your emotional dumping ground, even if the two of you would end up speaking on it eventually. You let yourself be ushered into Ochako’s home, curling up on your regular spot on the couch while Ochako brought you tea. You knew that Ochako needed these moments as much as you did, she wasn’t taking her long maternity leave very well.
“So, Y/N, what brings you to my humble abode today?” She had a grin hidden behind her teacup as she sipped. You sighed, tangling your free hand into your hair and letting your head rest in your palm.
“The usual, I’m tired of sitting at home when I know Katsuki won’t be home half the night.” You blew a piece of hair from your face. “Plus I figured my favorite momma-to-be could use a little distraction.” You smirked right back at her, joining in on her good-natured chuckle. The two of you often commiserated on feeling like useless dolls, sitting at home and looking pretty until their big strong men came home. You, from the lack of a job close enough to commute to in your field, and Ochako from her forced vacation. If the worry for her unborn child wasn’t in the equation, you were sure she’d still be out in the field working rescue missions.
Alas, one of the things that Katsuki and Izuku shared was their unwavering stubbornness when it came to their girls. God knows how many times you had tried to convince Katsuki that moving to a slightly less affluent neighborhood would only increase his commute by a few minutes, but open plenty of doors for you career-wise. At least Ochako’s issue had a time limit.
“So how much longer until you pop?” Ochako rolled her eyes, you had a habit of comparing her to a balloon since you had first met. You had wondered if she lost control of her quirk if she would just float up into the atmosphere, joining all the lost balloons tumbling in the wind. Izuku had gone quite pale at your ramblings, and it took her a few weeks to calm him after.
Her hand roamed her stomach, stopping if she felt the pressure of a small hand or foot pressing up against the heat of her hand. “It shouldn’t be much longer now, probably a month or so.” She had a sweet smile on her face, and you were sure that motherhood would agree with her, “Izuku finished the nursery a few days ago, just in case I go early. Knowing him though, I think our baby will stay cooped up as long as they can.” You giggled in response, thinking back fondly on the days you spent here when Izuku had the day off. Ochako could barely get him out of bed before noon, and he would wander the house wrapped in a quilt for a few hours after. It was always a stark contrast to his energy when he was out in public, and you wondered how he would fare when his late mornings were interrupted by their child’s cries. At least he would be there. You wondered if Katsuki would return home more often if you were pregnant…
Ochako had placed her hand on yours, squeezing softly. You had talked with her before about this and you had no want or energy to talk about it again. “Wanna get dinner?” You said instead. She nodded her head, giving you a soft smile before shuffling to her feet. You waited at the door for your friend, allowing her time to get herself ready around her bump.
The plus side of having pro-hero friends were being able to get into fancy restaurants or hero-specific clubs. With a flash of her hero’s license, or more likely just by her status, and you two could be shuffled into a private room or exclusive bar. Ochako complained about not being able to wander around to smaller mom and pop shops anymore, but you much preferred this to the few times you had been ambushed by her or Katsuki’s fans.
This was one of the more low-key places Ochako favored. Instead of full private rooms, the booth had a sheer curtain separating you from the main area. Plus it had copious amounts of baked goods and Ochako’s sweet tooth had not been tempered by her pregnancy. She always seemed to glow when she bit into a particularly good danish or Mille crepe. You had let her take over the conversation, naturally swaying towards her growing excitement and impatience to have her child. Although you weren’t sure if or when you’d be okay with having a kid with Katsuki, you were overjoyed for your friend. Plus you were damned determined to be the best auntie to her kid, that was at least one thing you could do.
Ochako’s phone chimed as she was alternating between munching on a raspberry danish and debating if snaps or zippers were better on onesies. You had no idea. She glanced at her phone quickly, shoving the remainder of the treat into her mouth. You stifled a giggle, the raspberry filling had smeared across her cheek in her hastiness. “C’mon, Y/N, we’ve got plans.” Her eyes lit up with excitement. You let yourself be pulled from the booth, but quickly stopped Ochako to clean off her face.
“Alright, what’s the plan?” You huffed as the crisp fall air hit your face. “I just got a message from Mina, she wants to meet up tonight.” You perked up a bit at that, it was never a bad night with Mina around. Plus Mina was bound to be out much later than Ochako.
The club Mina sent you was a bit farther from home than you went on your own. You always wanted to be nearby in case Katsuki came home, but you couldn’t find yourself caring tonight. Ochako led you to a discreet door, manned by an aloof looking guy dressed in dark, muted colors. Ochako flashed her hero license and he nodded sharply, grabbing the door. She grabbed your hand, tugging you along after her, and you released a breath when the security guy only looked you over instead of stopping you.
There were a lot of familiar faces in the small club. It was getting pretty dark outside, and the night scene was starting to come alive. If you hadn’t been with Katsuki for so long, you may have been a little starstruck at the heroes walking around casually. You were a little desensitized, dating one of the top five and being besties with another’s wife. Ochako had wandered to the bar, ordering herself a kiddie cocktail to make herself feel included. You had found this extremely adorable, watching her fidget with the cocktail umbrella. You hadn’t gotten a word out to the bartender before you were nearly bowled over by an inebriated Kaminari.
“Y/N~” he whined, nuzzling his head into your chest. “We missed you, you never come out.” He came to his senses momentarily, removing himself from you and scanning the crowd for an angry blonde coming at him. Once he was content that Bakugou wouldn’t show up out of the crowd and set off an explosion in his face, he returned to your chest with a satisfied sigh. “Oh, Minari… never change. Actually, please do.” You chuckled, extracting yourself from his grasp. Mina and Sero followed soon after, much more sober than their friend. Mina gently pushed Kaminari away.
“Come on, you horndog. You’re taking my spot.” Her serious facade faded as she jumped to you, repeating Kaminari’s actions and burying her face in your chest. You wrapped your arms around Mina while Kaminari pouted. He flung himself onto Sero’s shoulder.
“How are we supposed to get any cute girls when Mina keeps stealing them?” He looked up to his friend for support but Sero just shrugged.
“I think Bakugou had dibs on this one before Mina.” He grinned widely. You were starting to feel more like yourself surrounded by these idiots you called friends. Going out was definitely the right choice tonight. You squirmed in Mina’s hold, getting her arms around your waist as you finally ordered from the bar. You took your drink with a quick thanks and sipped slowly as Mina dragged you to their table. Kaminari had already abandoned the group, looking to sway some new hero into his bed. As usual, you doubted he would convince anyone.
A few drinks later and your group had a good collective buzz. Kaminari was still going hard out on the floor, desperately trying to get anyone to dance with him. Ochako lived vicariously through her friends as she babied her virgin drink. The drinks were finally loosening you up to complain about your current predicament, and Mina was encouraging you to no end.
“That douchenozzle!” She keened, “If you were my girl, I’d have you on my arm at all times, and I’d come home every night.” She leaned over the table licking her bottom lip slowly. You laughed off her bold attempt at flirting, knowing that she would never take you from her friend. Although at this point, her offer did seem a bit enticing. Sero was little help with commiseration.
“I mean, it’s Bakugou. We were all really surprised he even had a girlfriend.” He shrugged. Ochako nodded along sadly. You shrugged in return.
“Enough about my problems, why don’t you guys reminisce about high school so I can hear more embarrassing stories.” You waved them off, taking a long swig of your drink.
Ochako called it a night after a few stories. You offered to return with her, but she insisted you stay.
“I’m pregnant, not disabled. I can get home just fine.” You pouted at her, still not sure if you should stay.
“You sure?” She nodded, smiling back at you.
“You need to get out like this. And I need to go to bed. It’s tiring growing a whole person.” She giggled again, and you walked her to the door. After a quick hug, you watched her settle into her car before rejoining your friends. It seems that Kaminari had finally given up the chase, instead choosing to lay his head upon the table, half-awake. You came up and ran a hand through his hair, enjoying the way the static made it cling to your hand.
You would never have been able to do this if Katsuki was here. You had been starting to wonder if you were actually happy with Katsuki, even outside the issues with his hero work. You would have to think about it another time when you weren’t on the verge of being drunk.
Now that Ochako had left, Mina had no qualms about dragging your group to the dance floor. Another drink had you in the right mood to lose yourself to the bass. It felt like time had both stopped and went by so quickly. The small club was packed with heroes and their friends, bodies pressed up against each other. You had lost sight of your friends, but you weren’t too concerned. Mina had ways to find you if she needed to.
You felt arms encircle your waist, a feather-light touch. It must not have been Kaminari or Mina, because this person was letting you move from their touch if you wished. You felt a little rebellious and let them keep their hands there. They swayed with you to the music, not invading your space any further. You turned around in their grasp, meeting bright red eyes. It threw you off for a second, but you recovered quickly. You quickly motioned to the bar and made a drink motion, mouthing sorry. You wormed your way from the crowd, catching your breath as you made your way to the bar.
Another drink in your hand, you sat at the table. You took a hearty sip, not knowing when the next time you were going to be able to enjoy a night out was. Might as well enjoy it to your fullest.
The clearing of someone’s throat was the only warning you had before the guy from the dancefloor seated himself across from you. He smiled brightly at you, looking a little nervous.
“Sorry if I scared you back there. You just looked like you were having fun and I’m kind of new around here.” You quickly set your drink down, waving your hand at him.
“Oh no, it’s totally okay.” Poor dude, of course, had no idea what was going through your head tonight. You had a chance to take a good look at him now, and the red eyes were the only thing he shared with Katsuki. His hair was black and fell to his shoulders. Choppy bangs hung down to his nose, almost entirely obscuring his eyes from your view. His grin was sharp, and you wondered if he had some sort of shark quirk. He pushed the hair back from his right side, showing his glowing red eye and a thin scar trailing through his eyebrow.
“Kirishima Eijirou.” He introduced himself, sticking a hand out to you. You returned the gesture and gave him your name. He twisted your hand gently in his grip, showing off the heavy ring- still a bit too gaudy for your taste. “Looks like you have a lucky guy on your hands.” He grinned at you, letting your hand go. “I hope he doesn’t mind that I danced with you.” The way he rubbed his neck reminded you briefly of Kaminari.
“Oh no, it’s fine- I mean he is a hothead- but he’s not here.” You were babbling over your words. “An innocent mistake, I’m sure. I won’t tell if you won’t.” His smile widened and he nodded. “So, uh, you’re new around here?” He hummed in affirmation.
“Yeah, I’m just getting back into the hero scene. I had to take some time off.” You nodded politely.
“I really think that more heroes should take more time off for themselves and their families.” You hadn’t meant for that to sound so bitter, but Kirishima just laughed.
“Not a hero then?” You shook your head meekly.
“My quirk is barely worth mentioning.” You shrugged.
“Well, it wasn’t exactly my choice to take a break.” You leaned in closer, not expecting your bitter tone to be mirrored back at you. He noticed you are interested and let out a defeated chuckle. “I got too full of myself for my own good. It was right at the start of my hero career, straight out of high school.” You sipped on your drink, enthralled in the story already. “I had picked an agency with my best friend. Well, he was my best friend at least, I’m not sure he even considered me a friend at that point. Anyways, he’s got a real bad temper, set off by everything. We were on our first big job as sidekicks, not really ready for it if I’m honest. We end up losing the guy we were following. He goes berserk, scaring all the civilians around us- and get this- the guy we lost? Wasn’t as far as we thought. Now he knows heroes are tailing him and it’s turning into an all-out brawl. The guy had a lot more people on his side than we thought, and we were only supposed to be doing recon. This guy was just a pawn in a larger operation, and now it would take months to track down the main branch. This only sets off my friend more. Sure, we get the guy we were tailing, but there was no way we could have restrained all of the others that had run. So he’s still going off, and I’m trying to be a bro. I was known by our friends as the only one that was able to handle him. And then I go put my hand on his shoulder. Should have been ready, but he threw a hook at me, quirk and all…” His hand goes to his hair, pushing it back. You couldn’t hold back your gasp.
Stretching across the bridge of his nose, across his left eye and disappearing behind his ear stretched a scar. You could tell it was old and well healed. The hair of his eyebrow had grown back, and the skin didn’t look too rough, but it was pale white in comparison to his tanned skin. The edges near his eyebrow and nose seemed a little rough, and some points looked like they pulled at his skin, but you also noticed how piercing it made his eyes. You had downed your drink during his story, and your inhibitions were clearly nonexistent as you reached to touch his face. He looked shocked as your palm cradled his cheek and your thumb swept over the skin under his eye.
“Sorry, I… don’t know why I did that.” You laughed, pulling your hand back. His eyes softened and he smiled at you. He cleared his throat again.
“Anyways, I got lucky. We had a lot of good healing quirks at our disposal, but I still lost some sight and most of my hearing on my left side. Took a long time to be ready to protect people again.” You were awestruck by his tenacity. “Now I’m back, trying to get in touch with some friends from high school. I heard some of them may hang out around here.” You looked around, although you weren’t sure who exactly you were looking for until someone called your name. Sero was at the door, dragging a barely conscious Kaminari along. Mina was walking towards you but paused as she eyed the person across from you.
“Kiri?” She said softly, and he pushed his hair back in front of his scar.
“Hey, Mina.” He smiled sadly. Her eyes flicked to you and back to him. With your back to him, you weren’t able to see the pleading look he gave your friend. She seemed to acquiesce to his silent plea.
You were oblivious and excited. “Mina is your friend? That’s a crazy coincidence! She invited me here tonight.” You definitely felt that last drink now.
“Y-yeah, babe, sure is.” Mina stumbled over her words, her eyes never leaving Kirishima. “I can’t believe you’re back. Really… I… I’m glad to see you.” You had never heard her this soft. You wrapped your arms around her waist, still sitting down. She absentmindedly stroked your hair. “Um, listen, I want to catch up, I do… but if we don’t go Kaminari’s probably going to throw up in the Uber. Again.” She seemed to snap back to herself, digging through her purse for her phone. She punched in the code and quickly slid it across the table, prompting you to do the same.
If he was their friend, he was yours too. Kirishima nodded softly, quickly putting his number into both phones and handing them back. You quickly sent a text with your name, grinning as the phone in his pocket chimed.
“We should hang out soon!” You cheered as Mina led you out. It was hard for her to stop looking back at him.
Kaminari was already passed out by the time you reached the Uber. Mina squeezed in the back with the two boys, letting you have the passenger’s seat. You let the gentle rumbling lull you into a half-awake state. You could hear Mina speaking in low tones with Sero in the back. With a quick look into the rearview mirror, you saw Sero’s arms wrapped tightly around Mina, tears staining both of their faces.
You were about to speak up, but they were whispering to each other again, smiles on both of their faces.
You stumbled into your house, throwing a wave at the retreating taxi. You fumbled your key into the lock, quickly opening the door and resetting the alarm. Stupid Katsuki and his stupid security system. You were sobering up too fast for your liking, your buzz being replaced with bone-deep exhaustion.
You kicked your shoes off, walking straight to your bedroom. All you were up for doing was crawling straight into bed, clothes and all. You buried into the pillows and blankets, smelling only the laundry detergent. At least you’ll sleep well.
You thought. You awoke to arms snaking around your middle, causing you to uncomfortably arch on your side. Calloused hands groped at your chest.
“I’m home, baby girl.” Katsuki’s gruff voice was in your ear. You weren’t sure if you were happy or annoyed, but you were willing to fake it until you made it.
“Welcome home, Katsuki.” You mumbled into the pillows. His mouth latched onto your neck, finally drawing a reaction out of you. Katsuki’s rough hands slid under your shirt and bra, roughly tweaking your nipples. You grimaced, grateful you were facing away from your fiance. It’s like he couldn’t get it through his head, they weren’t an On switch, and it never felt good to be that rough right off the bat. Not like he cared much, it was about all the foreplay you would get.
Katsuki was already moving to tear your pants off of you, rubbing harshly at your clothed core before removing your panties as well. He guided you up onto your knees, rubbing himself between your lips before plunging in unforgivingly. The stretch stung, and he drug dryly at your walls. A few thrusts and you felt yourself relaxing and getting a bit more wet to accommodate him. He thrust deeply, hitting so deeply it hurt. You gasped in pain, but he took it as a cue for more. He pounded himself quickly into you, rutting you into the headboard. It was no longer uncomfortable, but you also felt no pleasure.
He finished inside you quickly. Pulling out, he gathered all that dripped with his fingers, shoving it back inside your warmth. A hangnail caught roughly inside you, making you wince. Katsuki placed a lazy kiss on your cheek before facing away from you. You knew he would be asleep before you got back from the bathroom.
The bathroom light stung your eyes, swollen with lack of sleep. You felt sticky and unsatisfied and hungover. The shower was a tempting offer, the bath even more so, but you opted for the quickest option. You drug the cold washcloth over yourself, wiping away all of Kastuki’s mess. You were a mess, shirt and bra still on, naked below the waist, makeup still on your face. With a sigh, you stripped the day’s clothes from you, wandering back to your room to throw on some cotton shorts and a loose tee.
It was rare for you to wake up with Katsuki still in bed. He rolled over and spooned you on the bed. With the morning sun and Katsuki warming you, the morning almost seemed bearable. Katsuki started to leave lingering kisses between your shoulders, following the curve of your shoulder blade. You hummed happily, basking in his affection and the gentle morning warmth.
“’ M sorry I was so rough last night. Needed you so bad. I know you can take it.” You rolled your eyes but accepted it none the less. Half asleep Katsuki was the only one you could get an apology out of, half-assed or not. You watched as he slid off the bed, stretching out. His sweatpants hung dangerously low on his hips, and you let yourself drink him in.
“’ M gonna go make food.” He grumbled, leaning over the bed to place a kiss on your lips. You watched as he made his way out of the room, rubbing the sleep from his eyes.
Maybe things weren’t as bad as you had made them out to be.

The Density of Acid
New short story from me, not quite in time for Valentines, but still in that spirit. Probably going to be 2-3 chapters long, and relatively short overall. Hope you enjoy. Summary:  Mina likes to think that she's a master of romance, but she might just be a little bit denser than she thought when it comes to a certain someone.
Read it on AO3:  https://archiveofourown.org/works/29496132/chapters/72461256 Read it on FF.Net:  https://www.fanfiction.net/s/13821747/1/The-Density-of-Acid
Teaser below cut.
Mina smiled as she stepped through UA’s entrance gate and flashed her ID to Hound Dog, who was stuck on entrance duty that morning. He nodded to her, but didn’t say anything, which was a little disappointing. Mina liked to start off her day with a friendly greeting, if not a little bit of banter. Midnight was good for that, always giving the girl a warm hello and then sharing the latest romantic gossip that had made its way to the teacher’s lounge. As a teacher, Midnight got gossip from all of the courses at UA so she always had something juicy to spill, which Mina greatly appreciated.
To Mina’s delight, though, she had only made it a few steps past the gate when a familiar voice called out to her.
“M-m-morning, Ashido!” Midoriya called, pushing his way through the crowd of oncoming students as best he could. It was made harder by the fact that he seemed to be compelled to stop and apologize to everyone he bumped into. He wasn’t quite as enthusiastic with it as Iida might have been, since he didn’t actually bow to everyone, but it did make for a bit of a scene.
Chuckling at the sight, Mina made her way over to the edge of the walkway, out of the way of most of the crowd of arriving students. A few seconds later, Midoriya joined her, a little flushed from exertion and embarrassment.
“Morning Midori! Having a good day so far?”
He nodded enthusiastically at that and launched into a story about how he had run into Kamui Woods and Mt. Lady on his way to school. According to him they were out on patrol, but to Mina it sounded a lot more like the two of them had been out on a date and had been embarrassed to be caught out. It explained how Midoriya had managed to wring an autograph each out of the two of them, as well as some tips on naming super moves.
In the past Mina might have been worried about the conversation with Midoriya making them late to class, giving Aizawa yet another reason to lecture her. At this point, however, she’d  learned to budget her time in the mornings, giving her plenty of time to chat with Midoriya and still make it to class with time to spare.
Chats with him had become a regular fixture of her morning routine, and one that she had grown to look forward to. He might be awkward and a bit overly obsessed with heroes and heroism, but he was also a surprisingly fun guy to hang around with. That dedication to heroes came in handy when you were training to be one, and he was always happy to offer some suggestions for new ways to use or train her Quirk.
They didn’t just talk about heroism, though. One of their favorite topics to chat about was old movies. It turned out Midoriya had barely seen any of the classic movies, much to Mina’s surprise. She wouldn’t exactly consider herself a movie buff, but her father was, and he had instilled a love of old cinema into her. As such, she had decided to take Midoriya under her wing and give him a new recommendation every week.
It actually proved way more amusing than she would have thought. Midoriya watched each recommendation within a day or so and reported back on exactly which parts he enjoyed, as well as what he thought of the movie as a whole. It was really refreshing to hear his takes on things, and his reactions to decades old surprise twists were absolutely hilarious. Honestly, Mina was half tempted to have a movie night over a video call, just to see his reactions in real time. She’d need to find a good movie for that, though…
Suddenly, Mina noticed that Midoriya had gone strangely quiet. Normally, once he got going on heroes he continued right up until the first bell rang. Now, however, he was acting like he had the first day that he had called out to her in the morning. His gaze was firmly fixed on the ground, and he was shuffling from foot to foot with a nervous energy.
“Everything okay, Midori?” Mina asked.
If it had been someone else, she might have put a comforting hand on their shoulder, but Midoriya didn’t seem to like being touched. The last time she had touched him had been a pat on the back after a successful training exercise. He’d skipped back from it like she’d stabbed him with a hot poker, his face flushing red from surprise and fear.
She’d felt awful about it, and had done her best to keep the touches to a minimum since. It was hard, though. She and her family were very hands on with each other, quick with a hug or just a comforting hand on someone’s shoulder while they walked by. Even Mina’s older brother, the absolute bane of her existence, would always ruffle her hair affectionately when she got home from school. Having someone that she was close to who she couldn’t touch like that was difficult. But she’d manage. Having Midoriya as a friend was worth it, she was sure.
“I-I’m fine,” Midorya finally said, sounding anything but, “It’s just, um… y-you know how you recommended I watch that movie, Casablanca, the other day? W-well I was looking it up, and I saw that there’s a theater near here doing a showing this weekend. So… I was just wondering if… maybe you—”

request: “I’m in a A/B/O mood so here is a blurb for my fuckin red head son kirishima. also, happy birthday to baku bitch.”
character: alpha kirishima ejirou x omega reader
fandom: boku no hero academia / my hero academia
song recommendations: i’m bad - LL cool J , surrender - natalie taylor
you weren’t like a regular Omega. you did want an Alpha to protect you but in comparison to other Omega’s in your class, you weren’t exactly like them. to the blind eye, you came off as a Beta but once an Alpha or a Beta came near you, they could smell the Omega radiating.
class 1-A was built on competing with each other and Omega’s had to work harder to prove themselves against the Alpha’s. while you did have a few friends, you mostly kept to yourself. you would work out on your own, usually eat lunch by yourself, and unless you had to do partner work, you stayed to yourself.
it was early Saturday morning when you got up for your morning workout. you were one of the scarce few who woke up so early in the morning to train. the ones who usually joined you was Kirishima and Midoriya. they would just give you a wave and a small smile before going to workout on their own.
you had “I’m Bad” by LL Cool J playing through your headphones as you set your things down on the bench. grabbing your running shoes, you tied them and made your way to the treadmill. you made it a deal to yourself to run at least a few miles before going to the punching bag to work on your arms.
the workout room was empty which felt odd. Mirdoriya or Kirishima would be in the room by now but as you left the treadmill and went to your bag to chug down some water, you noticed Kirishima walking in.
you chugged down most of the water before turning around seeing Kirishima at the station you wanted. Kirishima seen you frown a bit before giving you a smile.
“I can help you train if you’d like.”
Kirishima gave you another smile before you agreed. you could hear his music playing through the small speaker he usually used to workout with. Kirishima wrapped your hands as you wiggled your fingers to make sure you could still feel the circulation of blood flowing.
you quickly stretched your arms as Kirishima held the punching bag. after stretching, you gave Kirishima a look as he nodded in approval. cracking your fingers, you went in for the first punch which caught Kirishima off guard.
“woah, you’re stronger than I anticipated.”
you gave Kirishima a smirk as you went in for another few punches. the punches soon turned to kicks and Kirishima yelling at you to push yourself to the limit. you felt yourself heaving as you went in for another twelve kicks and a dozen punches.
once you and Kirishima realized that you had hit your limit, he let go of the punching bag as you fell to the floor dramatically. Kirishima couldn’t help but laugh as he handed you the spare water bottle he had.
“it was supposed to be for bakubro but he ditched last minute to catch more sleep,” Kirishima explained as you nodded.
Kirishima was one of the many students who had a small crush on you. a lot of 1-A liked you because you were a single Omega but a few of them liked you because of how you tried to hold yourself up to the status of Alpha. the way you acted, your personality, everything about you screamed Alpha and some of them liked that.
“why, he didn’t get enough sleep after spending his day bugging Midoriya?” Kirishima laughed as the two of you went to the fixed barbells section, “you could say that or you could just say he wasn’t in the mood,” Kirishima said.
the two of you grabbed the barbells as you put the weights on each end, “he’s never in a good mood. what else is new?” you joked as Kirishima agreed, “I guess you could say we’re the best in the class now,” Kirishima whispered.
you gave him a look before he offered to spot you while you lifted, “I think we’ve always been the best, people just haven’t realized that,” you mentioned. Kirishima felt a small blush cross his face as he noticed that the weight might’ve been too much for you, “do you want me to take off a weight?” he asked worriedly.
you shook your head no, “I’m working on towards a new weight, I need this, regardless if it hurts or not,” you managed to say through your clenched teeth. Kirishima gave you another worried look as he watched your arms wobble.
once you asked Kirishima to help you put the weight on the stand, your arms immediately flopped to your side, “oh god, they feel like jelly,” you said as Kirishima grabbed your arms and massaged them.
“that’s what happened to me when I tried to up the weights a few weeks ago, my arms felt like they were going to fall,” Kirishima said as you tried to shake your arms back to their natural form, “yeah, maybe I should’ve taken your advice,” you laughed as you watched how your hands shook profusely.
“we can cool off by running a few laps outside if you’d like?” Kirishima asked. you nodded as you packed your things inside your bag and followed Kirishima to the outdoor track field, “it looks like it may might rain,” you told Kirishima as the two of you looked up at the grey clouds forming.
the two of you wondered if it was even worth it to start running, “well, we can run and if rains, we can book it back inside?” Kirishima offered.
you nodded as the two of you started off jogging on the track, “how come I’ve never seen you train with anyone before?” Kirishima asked you. you shrugged, “I don’t know. a lot of people find me to be a bitch or want me because I’m an Omega so I don’t like putting myself out there,” you confessed.
Kirishima shook his understandingly, “I don’t think anyone finds you in the class to be a bitch. we just think you’re like Bakugou. you take your training seriously, that’s all,” Kirishima said.
you sighed, “I don’t know if being compared to Bakugou is a good thing or not,” you laughed at Kirishima. he put his arms up in panic, “it’s a good thing! you’re gonna be a great hero one day!” Kirishima exclaimed.
the Omega inside you was doing flips. you had never felt that way towards an Alpha before. but now that you were talking so openly with Kirishima, you felt yourself getting nervous at the thought of possibly getting close with him.
Kirishima could tell the energy around you changed. you were no longer so standoffish and your scent was a lot more welcoming. it was like your Omega was getting comfortable around Kirishima’s Alpha energy.
“you think so?” you asked Kirishima. he nodded his head rapidly, “of course. you’re going to be one of the greatest heroes to come out of our class and U.A.” Kirishima confessed.
you felt a warm feeling crawl up your face as you noticed a few of your classmates walking from the school building with arm fulls of food for breakfast.
“hey, since when did Kirishima and ( your name ) get so close?” Uraraka asked Midoriya as she watched you talk with Kirishima so comfortably, “I don’t know,” Midoriya inquired, “I know he’s has a small crush on her for a while so maybe he’s making his move?” Sero mentioned.
Uraraka smiled at you, “good for her. I know she’s a little rough around the edges but they seem great together.”
the three of them shrugged before continuing their walk to the dorms. just as you and Kirishima went to start sprinting, the rain came down in a crash. it wasn’t even a drizzle, it felt like the middle of the thunderstorm.
“SHIT, KIRISHIMA!” you screamed as he laughed.
he grabbed your hand and ran to the entrance of the workout building. the two of you were in fits of laughs as you realized how soaked both of your clothes were.
“my room is closer, we can dry off there!” Kirishima screamed as he grabbed your hand again, “prepare yourself!” he screamed before the two of you ran back out into the rain again.
Kirishima entered through the side entrances to avoid the amount of questions he expected you to get if the two of you had walked in through the regular entrance.
once you made it to his room, he went into his bathroom and took out a few towels to let you dry off, “I have a few after workout snacks we can eat to cool down,” Kirishima said as he took out a box from underneath his bed.
you looked over his shoulder to see the copious amounts of prepackaged granola bars and breakfast sandwiches.
“I also have a few things in the small fridge!” Kirishima exclaimed as he told you to grab a few drinks, “we can watch whatever you’d like while we eat.”
you nodded as the two of you set out all of the things on the floor. you were surprised that you were so willing to just sit and watch TV with him. knowing yourself, you would usually find an excuse to leave but for some reason, you didn’t feel the sense of panic or anxiety.
“oh my god, this is amazing,” you said through a mouthful of sandwich. Kirishima chuckled as he wiped off the mayo that was on your cheek, “my mom sends me these sandwiches every week, she knows they’re my favorite post workout food,” Kirishima confessed.
the two of you continued to watch TV in comfortable silence as the two of you decided to just watch random Saturday morning cartoons. it wasn’t until Kirishima was about to get up and pick up all the food to throw away that he felt a weight on his shoulder.
looking down, Kirishima realized you had fallen asleep on him. the food could be picked up later. Kirishima grabbed his blanket on his bed and covered the both of you as he felt you shiver from the cold of your moist clothes.
no matter how hard you tried to push the Omega aside, right now, you were at your most vulnerable. you had your head tucked into his neck as you purred in your sleep. without realizing, Kirishima was scenting you as he held you against him.
even if you weren’t the typical Omega, he still felt the sense of protection towards you. his Alpha instincts were now on high alert, as if he was expecting someone to come in and steal you away.
no matter how you presented yourself, Kirishima wanted to protect you. although he had yet to confess his feelings to you, he knew he would have too eventually. Kirishima didn’t want to lose you, especially to someone in the class. now it was just a matter of when and how he would confess his feelings for you.

Chapter 3: First Day of Class
My eyes fluttered open the next morning, meeting an unfamiliar ceiling. It took a minute before I remembered that I was in my dorm.
At UA!
My chest felt bubbly as I got up and started getting ready for the day. The shower was nice, the perfect amount of water pressure alleviating the nerves I was feeling.
Once I was all dressed, I twirled in the mirror. A lot of my shirts were babydoll tops in different styles, but all of them were quite flowy. I knew that would be a problem for combat, should I be caught in civilian clothes, so they were all long enough to tuck into my dark skinny jeans.
Feeling ready, I slid on my black and blue sneakers before heading down to the common area for breakfast.
A few of the others were down there already. Iida seemed as though he’d already finished eating, and was packing up his bag. Todoroki was sitting at the table, plate in front of him. Midoriya was chatting with Iida as he ate; something about a Reciproburst.
Tsu seemed much better, munching on her breakfast at the opposite end of the table. I grabbed a bowl of cereal and sat down with her.
“Uraraka said you weren’t feeling so good yesterday. I hope you’re doing better now?” I gave her a smile. “If you need any medication for anything I probably have it.”
“No, I’m all better now. But thank you!”
“Okay! Just let me know if you ever do. Us girls have to stick together.”
Tsu nodded and I finally saw a big smile. “We do. There’s way less of us than boys in the class.”
“Oh, Nami! I’ve been meaning to ask you about your quirk.” Midoriya sat down next to me. He glanced between the two of us. “Oh, sorry, if I’m interrupting I can ask later!”
“I think we’re good?”
“Yes, we’re good. I’m gonna go find Ochaco.”
Tsu literally hopped off down the hall. Midoriya laughed a little at the expression on my face. “You’ll get used to some of the stranger things we do.”
“Yeah, it’ll take a bit of getting used to for sure.”
“So your quirk! How does it work?”
I went into the same explanation I’d given the girls. Midoriya was frantically writing, so I slowed down a little so he could get it all.
“Thank you! I’m sure the more I see the more I’ll understand.” He flipped his notebook shut. “I have notes on basically everyone in the class, and after training I write down anything new that I noticed.”
“Really? That’s so smart, it helps you get a leg up on everyone else.”
He flushed red. “Uh-huh. Not everyone gets that, so when I start rambling about techniques and stuff they usually tune me out.”
“I’d love to look over your notes sometime. It could really help me catch up a little easier with the rest of the class.”
Midoriya’s face brightened. “Anytime! Just let me know.”
“Midoriya, are you flirting with my girlfriend?” An arm fell across my shoulders. I turned to see Kaminari smiling at me, still looking a little sleepy. “Morning, beautiful.”
“I wasn’t flirting!”
Midoriya’s face was bright red. I couldn’t help but giggle at how panicked he looked. “Deku, he’s just teasing.”
“Relax, Midoriya.”
The green-haired boy took off, leaving me and Kaminari sitting at the table. I could hear the rest of the class slowly filtering down for breakfast.
“Are you going to finish that?” Kaminari pointed to my plate, before stealing the rest of my bacon and popping it in his mouth.
“Hey!”
He grinned, giving me a peck on the cheek. “We’re dating now, we share.”
“Now that I know you’re a food stealer I’ll just make double in the mornings.” I stuck my tongue out at him.
“You two are so cute!” Hagakure said, her gloves floating into the kitchen.
Jirou followed, making a face at us. “You’ve been together for less than a day. It’s sickeningly sweet.”
Kaminari made a face back. “Just making up for all that time that we didn’t know each other.”
“Awww!!!”
The rest of the morning passed by in a blur, and before I knew it we were on the five minute walk over to the main school building.
“Nervous?” Kaminari asked.
“No.”
“You’re lying.” He squeezed my hand. “Your grip gets stronger the closer we get.”
I relaxed my hand, feeling myself blush. “Sorry. It’s just…new school and all. What if I’m not good enough for the hero course?”
“No way, you’ll do great!”
“Do you even know what my quirk is?”
Kaminari opened his mouth for a second, before closing it again. “No.”
“I can manipulate water. It’s not the coolest thing in the world, but it’s useful.”
Midoriya appeared next to me. “Are you kidding? I have tons of ideas of how you could utilize that in combat!”
Todoroki turned around. “If it’s anything like how my ice or fire works, I could give you some tips.”
I blinked, not used to the attention. “You guys are so nice, thank you. The Pussycats are nice too, but usually I’m left on my own to train because they get busy.”
“You train with the Pussycats?”
Midoriya stared at Kaminari for a second. “She’s related to the boy who lives with them.”
“OH, RIGHT!”
We entered the building, some of us laughing at Kaminari’s reaction. He winked at me, rubbing a thumb across the back of my hand. “You’ll do just fine here, I know you will.”
The bell rang and everyone sped to their seats. I noticed there was an open desk behind Momo. As soon as I sat down, the door opened and Mr. Aizawa walked in, looking as exhausted as ever.
“Alright. The main focus of the summer is going to be getting your provisional hero licenses. This will allow you to act as the pros do, but only in an emergency. Any other unauthorized use of your quirks could get it taken away, so don’t do anything to cause it to be removed.”
The class broke into murmurs, silenced by a mere look from Aizawa.
“To prepare yourselves, today you’ll be working on creating something new.”
The door opened, revealing Cementoss, Midnight, and Ectoplasm.
“You’ll be creating two new moves.”
“I don’t even have regular moves.” I mumbled, earning a pat on the head from Momo.
Mina, Sero, Kirishima, and Kaminari looked ecstatic. “A test is boring school stuff, but this is hero work!”
Ectoplasm stepped forward. “An ultimate move is something that will ensure you win against your opponent.”
“It’s something so unique to your person, and your quirk, that no one would be able to copy it.” Cementoss added. “You must lean into your strengths.”
Midnight flicked her hair over her shoulder, and I could swear I saw Mineta drooling. “Most of us pro heroes have an ultimate move. Those who don’t are fools. Now, hurry up and change into your costumes, and meet us in Gym Gamma.”
I raised my hand, speaking once Mr. Aizawa had nodded at me. “My costume isn’t here yet.”
“Just put on your gym clothes.”
The class moved, everyone else putting on their costumes while I threw on gym clothes. I was going to stick out like a sore thumb.
Mina must’ve seen the look on my face. “Don’t worry about it! I’m sure your costume will be here soon. You’ll have to show me your sketches, I wanna see how amazing you’ll look.”
“Thanks, Mina!”
We walked to Gym Gamma together, as most of the boys had raced on ahead. Deku was walking with Ochaco, the two of them talking about something I couldn’t hear.
“They’d be cute together.” I nodded over to the pair.
Mina looked over. “Oh, they so would! And I think she likes him.”
As we entered the gym, Midnight pulled me aside. I could hear Cementoss and Aizawa explaining why the gym was made.
“I know you’re pretty new to this, so we’re going to have you show us what you can do first. But not in front of everyone else, they’ll all be doing their own thing and working with Ectoplasm and Cementoss, okay dear?”
A breath of relief fell from my lips. “I thought I was going to have to move straight into an ultimate move.”
“Oh, you will.” Aizawa said as he walked up. The rest of the class had taken off to go work on their moves. “But we want to see how you handle yourself. The Pussycats said that you usually helped out with forest fires, but they’d been working on your combat abilities. You’ll be sparring me.”
“But if you’re trying to see what I can do, shouldn't I spar with someone else? Don’t you erase quirks?”
He sighed. “I won’t be using my quirk against you, just my own combat abilities.”
“That makes more SENSE!” I rolled out of the way as he whipped his scarf at me.
Guess we’re starting now.
Aizawa didn’t let up, coming after me again. I grabbed the water in the room, throwing it in front of me as a shield. As the scarf hit the water, I wrapped it around, using the momentum to leap over him. The water caught me as I landed, becoming an extension of my mind and body, just like the Pussycats taught me.
“Good, you can block. Now show me an attack.”
“I don’t want to hurt -”
The scarf came at me again, wrapping around my leg as I dodged too slowly. I forced water between the fabric and my leg, before expanding it so I could escape.
“You might have to hurt a villain!” Aizawa called out, continuing his own attacks. “If you hesitate, you’re dead.”
The image of my parents at the morgue filled my brain. My ears popped as I whipped a stream of water at him.
There was a loud CRACK, and he was thrown backwards. As he glanced up at me, I saw a welt across his cheek.
“Good.” He rubbed his face. “I have an idea of what you can do. Today’s not about combat, so get to work on your special moves. Midnight will help you.”
He walked toward the rest of the students, observing what they were doing.
“That was impressive.” Midnight put a hand on my shoulder. “He’s quick, it’s hard to land a hit on him.”
“Usually I use that move to help chop down dead trees.” I explained, moving the water around with my hands and demonstrating more of a blade than a whip. “I tweaked it a little so I wouldn’t cut him in half.”
“Heroes often have to adjust their power output to not kill the villains. That’s a sign of a good hero.” She gave me a smile. “Now, I’ve got a few ideas for special moves for you. Can you bounce off the water? Or launch yourself up in any way?”
“I can try.”
“Let’s work on that first.”
It took the rest of the class period for me to figure out just how much pressure to put under my feet to spring myself up, without sending me to the ceiling or not high enough.
“Good work today! Learning a new technique can be difficult but you’ve tried your hardest.”
The praise made me blush. “Thanks! I just hope I can nail this down quickly.”
“I have complete faith in you.”
Kaminari came running over as soon as the bell rang. “Your quirk is amazing, Dew Drop!”
“Dew Drop?”
“Oh, I know you didn’t want me to call you - well, you know. So I came up with a different pet name.” He rubbed the back of his neck. “If you don’t like it I can -”
“No, I love it!” I interlocked our fingers, pecking him on the cheek. “It’s cute.”
“You can just call me Babe if you want.”
The look in his eyes told me that he would be okay with that, but I could tell that he wanted a cutesy nickname too. Even if he wouldn’t say it out loud.
“Mmmm, I think I prefer Lightning Bug. As long as it’s okay with you.”
The smile on his face seemed to light up the room. “It’s perfect.”

HC: Working at a restaurant with them
So I work at a restaurant and let me just say- it kinda sucks. Its either super busy or super dead and *cough cough we are totally understaffed. But anyways, I’d thought it’d be fun to write HC for what it would be like to work with the BNHA boys at a food joint!
MIDORIYA
Tumblr media
Where You Two Work:
Definitely a coffee shop, and a super aesthetic one at that
The type that doesn’t actually have the greatest coffee, but one that people come just because of how adorable and peaceful it is
The whole inside is made up of rich browns, creamy whites, and refreshing greens, with knick knacks of all shapes and sizes littering the walls and cabinets (and even from the ceiling)
You had first began working with Uraraka, but she gave her 2 weeks notice to your boss after a month of you working there
But she had also recommended a friend to take her place- and he got hired
On the first day, Midoriya was already pretty nervous- a new job! A new place! What if he couldnt do everything that was asked of him? What if everyone was super mean? What if he just downright hated it?
When he walked in, and saw this beautiful girl at the counter, he couldn't BrEaThE
He seriously thought you were an angel
When you greeted him as you usuallye became a Huge WRECK- stuttering, sweating, the works
And then he said you were going to train HIM
ONE ON ONE
Izuku didn't know whether to be terrified or ecstatic, because he 1) wanted to never be away from you now and 2) he had NO IDEA how he was going to survive being alone with you and having your undivided attention on him for a couple of hours
What makes him Angry:
Hates how people become so rude to you and show you no respect as a person
It also pains him that you just have to sit there and take it
He has literally seen people point in your face, accuse you of outlandish accusations, and call you rude names
Once witnessed an adult woman call you “stupid” and asked you “if you even went to school” because you accidentally put 2 pumps of caramel syrup instead of 3
This has literally happened to me-just not in the same context :\
Another time, this man was screaming in your face on how he hated his coffee and wanted his money back
Midoriya could tell you were extremely stressed even though you were smiling and being cheerful towards the man
The man mistakenly took your positive demeanor as an insult, because he decided to try and throw his half drinken ice coffee at you
Midoriya instantly saw this, and as if as a reflex, caught it right before it splashed all over your apron
“I think it’s time for you to leave now sir”, he said calmly, but his face didn’t match- it was furious
The man tried to yell at you some more, but he saw Izuku’s face and decided it was best to leave
After that incident, Midoriya didnt leave your side and kept checking up on you throughout the shift
How You Usually Work Together:
Midoriya is always the most helpful one
He’s extra helpful with you because of the MASSIVE work crush he has
But if you ever need help cleaning tables? He’s on it
Need to do the dishes? No worries, he’s got it
Just need a 10 minute break? You sure as heck know he’s dropping everything to make sure you rest
He’s not the best at making drinks, but his adorable personality makes him the best cashier
Mingled with your quick drink time, you two are always getting crazy good tips, especially since your both scheduled in the morning, which is typically the biggest rush of the day
Which you both share of course
When it becomes super dead after a big rush, and you two had cleaned up, you’ll make each other’s favorite drinks as you wait for your shifts to end
You two both worked hard, you deserve a free coffee!
Midoriya always asks for green tea boba, and you make whatever your feel like drinking at that moment
You’ll sit on the counter, smiling and laughing at Midoriya’s crazy stories about his friends over at UA, and just relish the feeling of being with him
Because he’s turned into your work crush too
TODOROKI
Tumblr media
Where You Two Work:
I imagine Todoroki working at the most BOUJEE-IEST PLACE EVERRR
Like some super expensive sushi place that takes literally 3 months to get a reservation and you need to pay a down payment to eat there
Like tthe Boujee of the boujee
Is that even how you spell boujee oh well ACK
You had quit your last job because you hated it, and were now desperately job searching
One of the job sites you had joined sent you a message that this place was paying $15/hour
I WiSh
You of course instantly applied, and went to an interview a week later, completely nervous because of how rich this place looked
After the interview, you kind of assumed you wouldn’t get hired because you didnt feel you had enough experience, but to your surprised, you got a phone call a few weeks later asking you to come in for Training
You met your boss, and your manager, who showed you the ropes of the place- it was amazing seeing all these high class chefs at work and all the guests you recognized
Everyone was a high figure of society: social media stars, political figures, even heroes!
You began to sweat a little, realizing you’d have to be around this people every night
As you were looking around the room, trying to calm your nerves, you saw him-Literally the prettiest boy you had ever seen
He was wearing a white dress shirt and black bottoms that looked just as expensive as the restaurant, his hair was perfectly split between red and white, and he had a red patch over his blue eye, his expression calm as he filled an empty water cup at a small table
Your manager noticed you staring at Todoroki, your mouth slightly agape
“Ah, I guess you noticed Todoroki!” she cried happily, “Todoroki, when your done helping our wonderful guests, come and say ‘hi’!”
Todoroki looked up, his expression unreadable as he looked at his overly happy manager and your blushing face
He nodded solemnly at the woman thanking him for his water, and came walking over, the pitcher of water still in his hand
“Todoroki, I’d like you to meet our newest hostess, y/n!” she smiled brightly as Todoroki stared at you with so much attention you felt he was staring at your soul
He reached out his hand, his expression blank
“Welcome,” he stated matter of factly
His palm was warm, his calloused skin rubbing against your skin gently
“If you’ll excuse me,” he spoke to you and your manager, “I have to work to do.”
And just as quickly as he came, he was gone, his shoulder inches from brushing yours
“Well, he’s very ...mysterious,” you sighed, wondering if you’d be working with him more- the more you looked at him, the more you wanted to learn more about him
“Yes, yes, that Todoroki sure is a quiet one,” you manager agreed, “But, surprisingly, he’s one of our best servers! Ever since he started working here, we’ve been having TONS of regulars!”
“It’s probably that pretty face of his,” your manager winked, laughing as you blushed
“Or it might be because he’s the son of Endeavor,” she added casually
“WAIT-” you gasped, “He’S ThE sOn oF-
What Makes Him Angry:
The creepsters that try and get with you make him furious
He hasn’t told you he likes you, or even given you a reason to think he has emotions for you because he is terrible at showing any type of feelings, but he is HIGHLY observant of you
Because hes a starer not gonna lie its borderline creepy
He knows your mannerisms  for when your happy and having a good day, or when you feel down in the dumps
You could look like the most cheerful person going into work, but Todoroki will know instantly that that happy smile of yours is being strained, and he’ll ask if you’re okay and if you want to talk
So when creepy idiots are trying to give you pick up lines or ask for your number, he knows right when you feel uncomfortable
And it also pisses him off because… he’s got FEELS for you
“Hey uh uhm…” the man yelled with an huge grin, snapping his fingers as if he remembered something he had been straining so hard to recover from his memory, “Y/N! Some more wine sweetheart!”
You turned around, putting on your fakest smile and fighting the urge to roll your eyes.
“Coming right over, sir!” you stated, carrying the very expensive bottle of wine this man had practically drunken half of by himself
“Thanks darlin’,” he smiled, giving you a wink that made you want to laugh in disgust- did this dude really think he had a shot with you? Gross!
“While your at it, why dont you stay for awhile, talk some with me- I’d bet we have alot in common,” he drawled, trying to be suave and smooth-talk you in front of his equally creepy-looking friends
“Sorry to break it to you sir, but if you look around, there’s no room for me to sit. And besides, I have to get back to work-,” you replied slightly less cheerfully, trying to move away,
The man grabbed your wrist, making your blood run cold.
“Aww c’mon darlin’, dont play hard to get,” he said breathily, wrecking of wine, “you can sit right here!” He then patted his lap, giving you a wink as his buddies laughed
You began to turn red form embarrassment, ready to do something irrational to teach this creep a well deserved lesson
“She won’t be sitting anywhere near you sir,” you heard Todoroki’s  steady and confident voice near you, feeling his powerful presence that instantly made you feel safe
“And if you keep using vulgar suggestions like that towards our staff, I’ll be forced to tell security-and then I’d be able to teach you a well deserved lesson about manners towards women outside.”
You stared at Todoroki in shock- you had never seen Todoroki this mad, he was always so calm and collected. His face was so dark, it didn't even look like him.
“Are you trying to threaten me kid?” the man asked lowly, his tone dangerous as he began to stand up.
“Wait Nijagke- I think that’s Endeavor’s kid- look at the hair,” one of his buddy’s friend whispered to the man fearfully, “You dont want to mess with Endeavor.”
The man gave Todoroki a hard stare, slowly sitting back down.
“Your lucky you got Daddy’s name to protect you, boy,” the man hissed, “or I’d be the one taking you outside.”
“I sincerely doubt that,” Todoroki spat back, gingerly taking your hand in his and leading you into the break room to make sure you were okay.
How You Usually Work Together:
Todoroki is the definition of mysterious work hawtie
Like he barely talks to you but somehow talks just enough to know him as a person, but you’re always craving more information about him
Like you know he’s full name is Shouto Todoroki, he goes to UA, he’s Endeavor’s kid, he hates his dad, and that he only got this job so he wouldn’t have to be home more than he had to
Todoroki, let me give you a hug ^--^
But he also has the biggest crush on you and doesn’t know how to communicate it, so he does the wierdest crap
Like you once mentioned to your coworkers how you think chivalry is dead because men never give roses anymore, and the next day at work there was this huge rose bouquet in the work room sent to you
Your manager sees all this and totally tries to set you two up ALLL the time
Like she’s always dropping little hints like “Oh really, thats so funny y/n, because TODOROKI’S SINGLE TOO!”
Leaves you always as a stuttering mess while Todoroki blushes softly
Is always offering to do things for you and buy you lunch
And even if you refuse, he still buys you lunch
ALL THE TIME
Because he got that money to spend$$$
BAKUGO
Tumblr media
Where You Two Work:
You two work at the most generic food chain, like McDonald’s or Taco Bell
You at first worked with Kirishima, you two only really working there for some extra summer cash
Kirishima was the most positive person ever and you loved working with him because of his optimistic attitude
He was always talking about his buddies at UA, and there was three that always came in asking for free food
*cough cough Pikachu, Tape Boy, and Best Girl Mina
But the one he ALWAYS talked about was his best friend
How Kirishima talked about him, he was a little rough around the edges but was super cool to be around, and you actually wanted to meet him- if he hanged out with such a fun group, he must be as chill, right?
WRONG
You came in one day to see Kirishima in the back room talking to your boss, a spiky blonde next to him that had his hands stuffed in his pockets
You didn’t think really anything of it, until the very next day
Kirishima waltzed in, his buddy from yesterday at his side, looking like he wanted to murder somebody, the hat he was supposed to wear balled up in his hand
“Im not wearing this stupid hat Kirishima,” he spat at his friend with so much force you couldnt help but be a little curious by him- he was pretty hot.
“C’mon Bakugo, its just a hat!” Kkirishima said nonchalantly with his usual smile, waving at you.
“Hey Kirishima, I thought you weren’t working today,” you asked, eyeing his friend from the corner of your eye
Even though he was sulking like a child, it was kinda….cute?
“Yeah, I am,” he sighed, “I was just coming over to introduce you to Bakugo! I got him hired!”
He smiled so happily, you couldnt help but smile with him, his friend still brooding
“Im only doing this because you forced me to, you idiot, and I got hired without your help,” he grunted out, stomping his way behind the counter.
Kirishima looked at your concerned face, giving you a reassuring smile.
“I promise,” he oathed, “he’s a little rough around the edges, but he’ll warm up to you!”
“Good luck training him!” he yelled happily as he walked out the door, leaving you with the fuming blonde behind you
Oh great
What Makes Them Angry
People
Just people in general
He HATES talking to people
He is always cooking because hes quick and makes the food really good, but being even close to customers- NO
He will YELL at a child who drops food on the ground
And has done it
But his biggest pet peeve is people who feel entitled enough to say crap about how to food isnt up to their ‘standards”
Because 1) 9 times out of 10, he made the goddamn food
And 2) They always yell at you for all their insignificant little problems, and you take it
Like what the hell you’re actually nice to them after the yelled in your face?!
He hates seeing you cry
Like if somebody makes you cry- they’re dying
One time a lady screamed at you from the register that she shouldn’t have to pay for cheese on her burger, calling you really rude names
You politely excused yourself to get your manager, and as you walked by Bakugo in the back, he saw you trying not to cry
Angry Pomeranian activated
As you’re explaining the situation to your manager as he hands you some water to calm down, you both hear Bakugo screaming in the front
“-THE HELL YOU YELLING AT MY COWORKER?! YOURE EATING AT MCDONALDS YOU IDIOT HOW CHEAPER DO YOU WANT IT TO BE?!”
You literally had to fight for your boss to not fire Bakugo after that
How you usually work together:
Bakugo acts like he always hates being there
Only talk in grunts and eye rolls
When he does talk, he’s always whining or yelling
Its kinda scary
He always acts indifferent to you-but- he actually likes you
Like ALOT
When he clocks in, he is always angry, until he sees you, and he seems to melt a little bit
He thinks, for some odd reason, you look adorable in the uniform
Which was a real What the Hell moment for him because HE IS HaRdCoRe
He doesnt do CRUSHES
Kirishima catches on real quick though
He doesn’t really say anything about it- he just kinda watches it
When he drops hints though to Bakugo, Bakugo intatantly gets MAD
“WHAT DO YOU MEAN I GOTTA CRUSH ON HER?! ON THAT TWERP?! HELL NO!”
Thats when Kirishima KNOWS his buddy definitely has a crush
One time you were slightly late to work, still not even in dressed in your work clothes
You were wearing a cute off the shoulder top with a skirt
“Sorry! I was at a family event! I didnt think I’d be late!” you huffed out, hastily clocking in
BAKUGO COULDNT STOP STARING
When you walked, he literally was just MESMERIZED by your LEGS
Kirishima noticed his friend practically drooling
“Really?” he laughed, elbowing his friend, “No crush?”
“SHUT UP YOU BAKA,” Bakugo stuttered, trying to hide his blush
AHHHHH

The Could’ve Been Heroes
Description: What if Gran Torino and All Might found Tenko after he lost his family? What if some members of the League of Villains all ended up going to U.A instead of becoming villains? This AU is basically what could’ve been
A/N: For the sake of this AU I will be aging down and up some of the members to make them all the same age. Toga, Dabi/Toya, Tenko, are all 17
Word Count: 1,529
He pushed up the corners of his lips while staring in the bathroom mirror. An awkward smile being formed on his face.
There was a chuckle from the doorway, “you look just like your grandmother my boy.”
Tenko turned to the voice with a smile and roll of his eyes. “You always say that uncle Toshi.”
Toshinori chuckled and walked over, lifting his hand and ruffling up Tenko’s hair. “Only telling the truth Tenko.”
Tenko’s hands instantly shot up to fix his hair, groaning softly, “it took me forever to fix my rats nest this morning.” He looked in the mirror trying to brush down the light blue locks
“Well, you better hurry up and fix it my boy, we’re already late,” he whispered the last part and this caused Tenko to gasp and stumble past his uncle and trip into his room.
“Why didn’t you say that earlier?!” He swiped up his bag praying that he had everything in it. If there was anything Tenko Shimura hated it was being late.
“I didn’t think you would take this long.” Toshinori chuckled to himself again as he watched the boy rush past him and down the stairs.
Without looking back he opened the front the door and called back, “Come on! We can be late for your first day!”
As they rode in the car Tenko couldn’t help but ask about his uncle’s new protege.
“How’s Midoriya doing? You said you passed One For All down to him a while ago right?” Tenko asked while adjusting the gloves on his hands.
He’s had these gloves, or a version of them, since he was young. He never wanted to lose someone to his quirk again, not ever.
Toshinori nodded, “Yes, it was just before the entrance exams. It was a long and painful process to mold the boy into a proper vessel.”
He rubbed the back of his neck peering at his adopted nephew, “you’re sure you aren’t mad about me not passing my quirk on to you?”
Tenko tipped his head back, thinking that anyone in his situation would probably be upset, but he didn’t really see a need to be.
Shaking his head, Tenko snorted softly, “I already told you before, you don’t have to worry about me being jealous over Midoriya. I like my quirk the way it is, plus,” he smirked as he watched his uncle let out a sigh of relief.
“At least I don’t have to worry about my bones being broken.”
Toshi choked and coughed out a bit blood and Tenko just laughed at his reaction just as the car pulled up outside the gates of U.A.
Tenko climbed out with his uncle and looked up at the familiar archway, the same one he’d been walking through for the past two years. It would be his last year attending U.A, and he wasn’t sure how to exactly feel about it.
“Feeling nervous mophead,” the comment came with a smack to the top of his head.
Tenko grunted and he shoved the hand away playfully, grumbling, “no, are you, snow white?”
Toya Todoroki snorted as Tenko looked up at him. “Nope, the number two heroes son is never nervous.”
Tenko recognized the venom behind those words and knew his friend must have had an unwanted conversation with his father this morning. He wanted to ask it about it.
“Let’s hurry before we’re late.”
Tenko watched his friend’s shoulders drop in relief, the two starting to walk through the gate and toward the building.
“You said Shoto was in the new hero class this year right?” Tenko asked and gave a small smile toward other students they passed. He tended to be quite timid whenever he saw new faces in the school.
Toya nodded, “yep, little Shoto. He wasn’t happy with having to take dad’s recommendation but the old man refused to let him take the regular entrance exam.”
Tenko rolled his eyes, he wasn’t surprised by that information. Endeavor's ego always seemed to come first. He remembers Toya mentioning that he even thought about running away, the man’s training becoming too much for him.
He had told Tenko the only reason he stayed was because of his siblings. Tenko knew his friend took some harsher punishments to keep his youngest brother from getting the brunt of his father’s anger.
The pair put their things away before heading off to their classroom, chatting about their summers along the way.
Tenko had just started to talk about going to visit his uncle's friend when something jumped on from behind him causing him to fall over.
He heard Toya’s snickers and familiar high-pitched giggles that let him know who it was.
“Himiko-Kun is this the only way you can greet me?” Tenko said as his face was still smashed against the floor.
Toga Himiko kept giggling but got pulled off her friend by Toya, “I just missed you Tenko-chan!”
Tenko stood up and brushed down his uniform. “Yeah, yeah, I missed you too but I don’t tackle you. Plus we saw each other last week.”
“Still too long,” Toga pouted as she pushed her cheeks up with her knuckles.
Tenko opened his mouth to speak but was cut off by Toga.
“Hey, hey, Toya isn’t that your little brother?!”
Tenko let his eyes find the familiar face of Shoto Todoroki. He’d met all of Toya’s siblings a few times, but he noticed that Shoto rarely got to see his brothers and sister.
“Oh yeah.” Toya leaned against Toga and lifted a hand in a wave. “Shoto, guess you didn’t need me to walk you to your classroom after all huh?”
Tenko watched as the younger boy stiffened up at the sound of his brother’s voice.
Shoto turned his head, his voice monotone as usual, “I studied the campus map last night...”
Tenko smirked to himself as Toga giggled and Toya rolled his eyes. This was something Tenko kind of loved teasing Toya about sometimes. His brother was probably the most oblivious person Tenko has ever seen.
“I know you did,” Toya walked over and slung an arm around his brother’s shoulder. He pinched his cheek slightly with his other hand, “Lil’ Sho is always prepared.”
Tenko and Toga both laughed as Shoto tried to squirm out of his big brother’s grasp.
“You’re embarrassing both of us-” Shoto began but was interrupted by a stuttering and shy voice.
“U-Uh, sorry, is this ah, the 1-A classroom?”
Tenko looked over and knew the boy instantly. He, of course, asked his uncle Toshi to see what the next holder looked like. So the freckled-faced boy was unmistakable.
Izuku Midoriya.
“Yep, this is 1-A,” Toya said tightening his hold on Shoto who was still squirming underneath his arm. He held out his hand with a lazy smirk.
“I’m Todoroki Toya, this flustered mess here is my little brother Shoto. I’m in class 3-A, the hero course”
Tenko watched as Izuku glanced between the red-faced boy and his smirking brother. He still took Toya’s hand and shook it with a light smile on his face.
“Nice to meet you, I’m uh, Midoriya Izuku.”
“So you’ll be my bro’s classmate huh? Make sure he finally relaxes a bit will ya?”
Shoto finally managed to break free of Toya and straightened up, glaring at his brother.
“I’m not here to make friends like you,” Shoto said before turning and walking in the classroom.
Tenko saw Izuku gulp out of the corner of his eye, but he watched Toya shrug his brother’s cold shoulder off.
“Don’t mind him, have fun on your first-day kid,” Toya said turning his back to Izuku to walk back over to Tenko and Toga.
Izuku stuttered out a “right”, before turning and walking in the classroom.
Toya leaned against Tenko, resting his elbow on his shoulder, much to Tenko’s annoyance.
“He’s gonna get eaten alive,” Toya said bluntly and Toga swatted him on the shoulder.
“Oh come on Toya-chan! You don’t know that. He could be a great hero!” Toga shouted pumping her fist in the air with a wide smile.
He better be, was Tenko’s thoughts as he stared at the doorway Izuku had walked through.
“Shouldn’t you three be in your classroom by now?”
The trio stiffened up at the sound of the voice and turned to look at the sleeping-bagged Aizawa Shota.
“Sensei! We’re just about to head there now, Toya just wanted to wish his brother luck for his first day.” Toga spouted off in one breath while tugging the boys off toward their own class.
Toya shudders as the three walked quickly away.
“That guy always gives me the creeps.”
“He’s so not cute in that sleeping bag of his all the time.” Toga pouted.
“I don’t think he’s supposed to be cute Himiko.”
Tenko tuned out his friends bickering as they walked in their room and sat at their desks, his thoughts on Izuku.
If his uncle thought Izuku was worthy of his power then Tenko trusted him. Tenko thought back to the boy’s nervous expression and shaking body though and he rolled his eyes.
Sometime’s his uncle can be an idiot.

i was wondering if i could do a mina x fem!reader where the reader is pretty butch and is friends with mainly the guys; however all of them still think that she likes guys, so they are all trying to set up todoroki (who has no clue on what the guys are doing) with her, until one day they see them talking in a cafe and they think that they’re actually together, until one of them sees/hears her gushing over mina with big brother todoroki paying for her coffee because f endeavor’s credit card ❤️❤️
A/N: I’m glad that the entire fandom collectively agrees that Todoroki would absolutely steal his father’s credit card to buy the dumbest things
Maybe I’ll write a part two where the reader tells Mina how she feels
Summary: The guys of 1-A, while they absolutely owned your heart and you’d do anything for them, all collectively shared a total of three brain cells, and most of the time it was either Bakugou or Iida who held them. So, while you thought it was clear that there was a certain pink haired girl you were crushing on, it somehow got lost in translation, and instead you were set up with a red and white haired boy instead.
They were so close.
Words: 1,970
Ever since you were little, you always found yourself gravitating towards your male classmates versus your female ones. It wasn’t as if you had anything against the girls in your classes, no, it was quite the opposite, in fact. You were just so enamored by them that it often rendered you speechless, so instead of trying to overcome your slight fear of a woman’s rejection, you instead sought comfort with the male students, and then it just became natural for you to gravitate towards them instead.
By the time you had enrolled in U.A. practically nothing had changed, you were the same girl-avoiding woman you had been growing up, but at least now you knew why you were so infatuated, yet so afraid. On your first day in class 1-A, you immediately found yourself drawn to a nerdy green-haired boy and the seemingly strict glasses wearing kid. It only took a few minutes for you to become fast friends with the two of them, as you and Midoriya found yourself geeking over pro heroes and reading his journal with all of their stats. Iida, while not quite sure how to react to having two extreme pro hero fans, merely watched as you and Midoriya talked a mile a minute about every hero on the scene currently, who your favorites were, and who’s quirk you’d like to switch with for a day. It also didn’t take long for you to be introduced to Uraraka Ochako, though it took much longer for the two of you to become friends. Not because she was hard to get along with, but because she was just so cute that you were having a hard time forming any coherent sentences. You did get past it, eventually, but the two of you knew that you weren’t as close as you and the other two boys.
As you had progressed in your class, gaining more control over your quirk, you also had progressed in terms of how many friends you had gained as well. Shortly after the first week of class, you had somehow managed to be caught in Kaminari, Sero, and Kirishima’s little group, though you mostly acted as their mom and made sure that the three of them didn’t end up of the receiving end of a certain blonde-haired porcupine’s explosive quirk.
Shouji, Ojiro, Tokoyami, and Sato were also quick friends of yours as well. Though you didn’t hang out with them much, you always knew that you were welcome to hang out with them and just have a relaxing time. Sato had even baked you a few things as the two of you got closer, and now you were currently his sole taste tester when it came to baked goods.
You did try to befriend Mineta, but quite honestly, you’d rather take Bakugou’s anger issues and insults over the tiny boys perverted stares and attempts to touch you. Thankfully, Bakugou also recognized this as an issue for you, and even though he’d deny it to his dying day, he’d make sure that the perverted boy was never within six feet of you.
The most surprising friend you’d made, and the closest one you had, was the one and only Todoroki Shouto. How the two of you clicked was a mystery to the both of you. With his cold, aloof attitude at the beginning of the school year, and your rather boisterous personality, the two of you had formed some sort of mutual agreement to never speak to one another, both because Todoroki didn’t have the mindset of wanting to make friends, and you didn’t have the mental capacity and patience to deal with that boy without smacking him. However, shortly after the sports festival, he found himself sitting near Midoriya, formerly his only friend, which also meant that he was sitting close to you as well. After a few weeks of awkward silence between the two of you, you finally tried to start a conversation, hoping that your love for pro heroes and maternal personality would make him feel more at ease with you. While it worked to an extent, what really drove Todoroki to becoming your best friend was when you had accidentally let it slip that you didn’t really care for Endeavor, and before you could even attempt to take back what you said, Shouto told you he felt the same, and soon after the two of you became what seemed like the anti-Endeavor club. Instead of the two of you feeling awkward during lunch, you two had actually found yourself ignoring the rest of the group unintentionally, instead lost in your own conversation.
It was also safe to say that you did have relationships with the girls of 1-A as well, though they were more superficial than the ones that you’d made with the boys. You always made sure to exchange pleasantries with them in the morning, and you made it clear that if any of them needed someone to talk to, they could always reach out to you. Other than that, though, your friendships with them weren’t quite as deep as they were with the boys.
This didn’t stop them from caring about you, though. Even though you never hung out with them, they always made sure to pay close attention to you and your needs, in case you ever needed them.
So, it truly couldn’t be helped that, upon further inspection, they had come to the conclusion that, because you spent so much time with him, you were absolutely, one hundred percent without a doubt, in love with Todoroki.
It seemed obvious to them, as why would you spend so much time with the boy if you didn’t feel anything for him. You were always smiling around him, and you were one of the only people in the class who could get him to laugh and smile like a regular teenager. They didn’t even think that he could do that! So, in order to be the perfect wingwoman for you, Ashido, Uraraka, and Hagakure decided to plant the seed into some of the boys’ head, more specifically, Midoriya, Kaminari, and Kirishima’s heads. While the first had acted as he normally does, with a flustered look on his face, the other two had some of the most devious smiles you had ever seen.
Not long after, all of the boys, minus Todoroki, had been let in on your little “crush,” and they decided to hatch a plan to get the two of you together.
They weren’t subtle by any means, in fact, if you and Todoroki had more than one braincell shared by the two of you at any given point, you both probably would’ve recognized what your classmates were up to. Unfortunately for the both of you, while you were book smart, you were rather dense when it came to social cues, so every obvious attempt made by the other boys went over your head. You did start to pick up on certain things though, like how whenever there was a partner project, everyone would automatically push you towards Todoroki, saying that they already have a partner. Or when the two of you were sitting together at lunch, Midoriya, Iida, and Uraraka “conveniently” forgot to tell you that they weren’t able to sit with you, leaving you and Todoroki to eat by yourselves, not that you minded.
The most obvious way that the boys attempted to get you two together was whenever you all had hero training, whether it be in rescue or media, if there was a way that they could get you partnered together, then you better believe that was what they were planning.
Around the tenth time the boys had tried to set you up once again, only to fail miserably, as the two of you genuinely enjoyed each other’s company, and were about as smart as a brick. They were all so close to pulling out their hair, and before they could just call it like it was, Kirishima was the “voice of reason:”
“Those two already hang out a lot as is, right? Maybe they’re dating but they’re hiding it from us, so we should see if we can tail them,”
While most of the boys were agreeing to tail the two of you, with Iida going purely to put an end to any chaos they could cause, they missed the way you were wistfully sighing, and the way that Todoroki was trying to hold back his laughter at your love sick attitude. They also missed the way his eyes lit up with mischief as a certain pink haired girl walked by, waving at the two of you while holding back her pleased grin. Or how you immediately punched his shoulder to get him to stop from doing anything that would embarrass you more.
So, once school had let out, Kaminari, Kirishima, Midoriya, Sero, and Iida had followed closely behind you and Todoroki, hoping that the two of you would do something more interesting than just walking back to the dorms.
Luckily for them, the two of you had planned to head to one of your favorite cafes, just a little ways away from the campus. Blissfully unaware of the eyes glaring holes into the backs of your heads, you carried a pleasant conversation, talking about the training from today, and how both of you thought the other could improve. As you headed into the cafe, the stalkers you had acquired waited a couple of seconds before going in after the two of you, hoping that you two would keep being ignorant of your surroundings, for at least a few more minutes.
They couldn’t help but be amazed at the sight in front of them: with your arm wrapped securely around his, waiting in line as you pointed out all of the options you thought he’d like. Once the two of you were up to order, Todoroki had ordered for the both of you, and even paid with a shiny credit card that they were sure wasn’t his. Kirishima thought it was rather manly of him, whereas Kaminari was impressed that Todoroki could be “suave.” As the two of you sat down at one of the tables, they were starting to believe in Kirishima’s little theory before they heard you talking about someone else:
“Did you see how cool Mina looked during training today?” You sighed, resting your face against your palm as you stared off to the side.
“‘Mina?’” He teased, sipping on his drink and enjoying the way you seemed to grow embarrassed, “Since when were you two on a first name basis?”
You hid your face in between your hands, mumbling out a quiet “shut up.” He couldn’t help but laugh, leaning in to flick your head.
“You should just tell her you like her, I don’t see the harm from doing so,”
Your head shot straight up, sending a non-threatening glare towards the boy in front of you, “I can think of so many things that could go wrong. One: she could not like me, and then tell the rest of the girls in the class and get them all to hate me,” You took a minute to shove two fingers into his face, “Or two: she could just not like girls in general, and I could make her so uncomfortable that she’ll never want to see me again.”
“You are the most dramatic person I’ve ever met,”
“Well clearly you’ve never met yourself.”
As you both continued to bicker back and forth about your huge crush on the pink girl, the four boys, who were sitting right behind your table, found themselves dumbfounded. Kaminari turned towards the rest of the group, a puzzled look on his face.
“So, she doesn’t like Todoroki?”
