Exes to lovers with Oscar: “what can i do? how can i fix this?”
idk how good i am at writing angsty stuff but here’s hoping i do you proud anon, lovely!
tw: fem!reader, not spell checked or proof read (cba bro it’s almost 4am), angsty (idk i tried), swears, lmk if you want to add anything else.
w/c: 2.3k
you hadnt seen oscar in almost a month. the breakup was not the amicable, it was all oscar’s idea. not to play the name game or anything.
he was the one who ended things a month ago. your lives were just ‘too different’ right now and you were going in ‘different directions’. he was the one who had made sure he left no trace of himself in your apartment. he was the one you cried about when it got late and you felt lonely. most importantly, he was the one who acted like nothing had even happened.
people were commenting on your instagram posts and stories constantly asking where oscar was. it felt like getting kicked while you were already down. you stopped posting altogether after that.
it took you this whole month even be able to live your life again, before you were just existing. lando was the one to pull you up by your bootstraps and help you get your life back on track.
“i hate seeing you like this!” the brunette had begged you, a few weeks before, to go out clubbing with him and george.
“it’s just not my scene, lan. you know that. i’d rather just lay in bed all day and listen to the saddest songs on the tortured poets department.” you told him from somewhere between your messy bedsheets.
lando sighed and sat on the side of your bed. “c’mon! laying here crying about it will do nothing.” you knew he was right but it would do too much to his ego if you told him so, plus you also wanted to rot in this hurt for a little while longer.
“maybe next time.” you had offered. both of you knew you were lying.
the time came when lando finally made you face your problems head on, when he made you join him the monaco grand prix. with promises of not having to stay in a hotel and his company (you didn’t know if either of those things was something you wanted right now) the whole weekend, you eventually agreed. whether you agree just to shut him up or because you knew you would run into oscar… well it was a tie.
you lay tossing and turning in the guest room of lando’s, you couldn’t sleep for thinking about the man who has haunted your dreams for the past month and graced them for a year and a half before that. you decided to give up on getting sleep for now, turning onto your side you plan in your mind how you wanted the next day to play out. you were unsure if you should go for making him jealous of making him feel bad for you, eye bags and depression written all over your face or dolled up to the nines. in the end you decided on making him jealous. what good would looking gross at one of the most high profile races of the year - in front of your ex, no less - do you? you eventually fall asleep planning your outfits in your head.
the next morning you woke up with plenty of time to get ready, giving yourself plenty of time to get ready. lando, being your best friend, had the privilege of getting up at the arse crack of dawn, just as the light started to shine through his curtains, to ‘get ready with you’ as you had put it. he would put it as ‘you getting ready and him watching until you were almost done, then getting ready himself’. same thing basically.
“put that one taylor swift song on i know.” lando asks from his bed as you sit in front of his floor length mirror. you make eye contact from the floor.
“which one is that? she has like a million?” you question, you obviously being in charge of the music. lando groans as he turns onto his front, his groan becoming muffled by the bedsheets. you roll your eyes at his dramatics.
“i’m just gonna put folklore on then.” you tell him, picking up your phone from beside you where it was currently charging. lando near enough leaps from the bed at your words.
“no! that album is depressing! that’s not today’s vibe!” his hands reaching for your phone.
“what is the vibe for today then?” you ask, going back to blending out your light eyeshadow.
you can sense what lando is going to say before it even comes out of his mouth. “reputation.”
the start of ‘this is why we can’t have nice things’ plays through the speakers your phone is connected to in his room. you really try to hold off from telling him that reputation has more love songs on it than he thinks but you can’t help yourself. lando is surprised at the news and asks what album has the most repuatuation vibes.
you sigh. “i made a playlist. just play that.”
once you had finished your makeup, lando starts to get ready as you fish out the outfit you had planned out in your head last night out of your bag. you knew it had to be good, seeing as this was the first time in a month that oscar will see you.
a month wasn’t really that long, you both had been apart longer when you couldn’t make it to races and he had shit to do in training, but this separation was different. it was permanent and because of that it felt like years since you had seen oscar. double that, the last time you spoke to him.
“y’ready then?” lando asks, grabbing his car keys. you follow behind, your sundress swaying with the movements of your legs as you grab your clutch bag, filled with random items you knew you probably were never going to touch for the rest of the day. you nod, slipping on your heels and head to the car, right behind lando.
arriving at the paddock didn’t feel as weird as you thought it would. the flashes from the cameras almost blind you both as you walk in together. most reporters asking if you had cheated on oscar with the tanned brit.
as usual you ignore them and strut harbouring a false sense of confidence as you walk side by side with lando.
you stick to lando’s side of the garage during qualifying. some of oscar’s engineers notice you and give you a wave, not wanting to be rude you wave back. you watch q3 nervously, a part of you- way deep in the back of your brain - wishes for oscar to well and it’s looking like he could even get pole for the first ever time in a proper f1 race. his qualifying last grand prix weekend had really impressed you (not that you were watching him or anything. you were only watching to support lando) but had also made you think that oscar had made the right decision with your breakup.
as you watch on during the final few minutes of q3 you feel a camera pan on your face from the corner of you eye. you pretend not to notice, scared incase on the screen it still calls you oscar’s partner. not that you would know, but if you forget about the camera then you’ll most likely forget about it all as a whole.
lando qualifies fourth. oscar second. a great weekend for mclaren. a podium basically already in the bag for the, usually, papaya team. as both cars make their way back to the garage, you stand off to the side, waiting on lando.
the boy in the fluorescent helmet jumps out of the car and almost sprints to the opposite end of the garage, to oscar’s side, eager to congratulate him. you watch as the boy takes off his helmet and balaclava to wrap the australian up in a friendly hug. the latter not even getting the chance to take his own helmet or balaclava off before the arms of his friend wrap around him.
you just watch from afar, wanting so badly to be the one feeding oscar words of praise and excitement about the race tomorrow. you see them both converse as you try to act like your not staring, suddenly remembering the cameras lingering around. lando finally peels himself away and makes his way back to you. oscar’s eyes follow him to you. you don’t know if he’s surprised to see you or not. not like you even care anyways.
“well done lan!” you cheer, maybe a bit too loud than normal. your arms wrapping around his fireproofs in a tight hug, copying his own actions to his teammate minutes before. you hoped oscar was watching on.
“thanks bro!” lando laughs in your ear, happily as his results were improving every race. you also laugh at his choice of words.
“bro?” you ask through a giggle. the giggle drawing the attention of oscar again, who had tried to forget about your presence but felt like he was getting harshly reminded of the grave mistake he had made.
“you’re my bro” is all the explanation he gives. it’s not like he’s lying to be fair, you were his bro. he lets go of his hold on you then talks about his plans for tomorrow night.
“is it not a bit too early to be thinking about tomorrow after the race already?” you ask him, as if you’re not used to this at the end of every saturday.
“i should be at the club” he shrugs as he drags you to his race room. directly next to oscar’s. you know this hallway like the back of your hand.
you hear oscar’s footsteps behind you and lando as he tells you every thought he had during the flying laps. you trying so hard to listen but all you can think about it how much you want to turn around to oscar and bag him to take you back. but you’re not doing that. that would, well that would just be a new low for you.
“i just knew osc would be quick, didn’t think he would be quicker than me. he’ll probably be on the podium tomorrow.” lando comments, offhandedly. both your’s and oscar’s ears prick up at the mention of oscar’s name.
oscar strains his ears as you stop just in front of lando’s door. he tries to keep a safe distance, not wanting to alert you both of him.
“yeah?” is all you say. lando snorts.
“you could at least act like you care.” lando says as he opens the door to let you both in. that’s when you both hear the heavy, quick footsteps of oscar rushing to you before you enter lando’s driver room.
“hey-uh can i talk to you?” oscar directs to you, eyes not even trying to shift in lando’s direction. you hesitate. why was he acting like he hasn’t just broken up with you.
“please?” oscar practically begs. lando gives you an encouraging nudge before disappearing into his room, leaving you no choice but to stand in the hallway with oscar.
it’s quiet before you speak up, words a little uneasy and shaky. “what could you possibly have to say to me?” you question him.
“please don’t be like this. i can’t do it.” oscar’s voice is weak and almost pathetic. you scoff at his words.
“you’re being serious? where was this when you broke up with me?” you seethe, feeling your anger build. oscar looks hurt but you see a glint of something you can’t decipher in his eye and it makes you miss him even more, you can’t stand this.
“what can i do? how can i fix this? fix us?” oscar looks down at you with wide eyes. you swear they look glassy, like if he blinks too hard tears he’s so clearly fighting will slide down his cheeks.
“fix us?” you ask, confused. “you want to fix this?”.
oscar nods eagerly, gathering your hands in his and pressing them against his chest. “i can’t bare this without you. i’m so stupid for thinking that breaking up was the right thing to do. i miss you in everything i do. all i could think about out there was if you were still mines how i could go celebrate this with you. i don’t know if i remember how to live without you, baby.”
you only stare at him. your face betraying you by showing oscar every little feeling that flashes through your mind.
“it’s been like this since miami. you should’ve been there. i’m sorry. i’ve ruined this for you. and i know this is me being selfish but i need you to come back to me.” the grip oscar has on your hands get a little tighter as he begs you to forgive him.
you feel your bottom lip wobble a little before you pull your lips in a tight line to pull yourself together. “i miss you too. but you hurt me.” you say, cautious and wary.
oscar makes this pained noise like he’s been winded as your words hit him. “i know and i’m so fucking sorry. what can i do to make it up to you? i’ll do anything i swear.” oscar was clearly not above begging for you to his again.
you think for a second, eyes avoiding his and instead looking down at the floor. seeing as oscar can read you like a book he knows what’s coming next. you’re gonna reject him in a way he knows only you could and cry too, because you will feel bad, you’ll feel bad for the monster who broke your heart. how could he even think he would have a chance at getting you back?
you surprise him by speaking up softly. “maybe a trial date?” you suggest. oscar’s head nearly falls off from how quickly he nods. never agreeing to something so quickly before in his life. he’s going to make this the best date you’ve ever been on in your life.

Eddie hates waking up early.
He’s never been a morning person— in all his twenty-eight years of living, Eddie has never seen the letters ‘AM’ and smiled. This is partially why Eddie failed his first-period class in high school for two — almost three — consecutive years in a row. This is also partly why Eddie was fired from nearly every job he landed after graduating. You would imagine that Eddie has learned his lesson after all this time. Not quite.
Eddie is nearly an hour late to his first divorce settlement conference. One would think that Eddie would, for once in his life, wake up at a reasonable time to take a shower, grab his usual morning energy drink, beat LA traffic, and get to his appointment on time— as a mature grown man would do. Still, Eddie failed even to set an alarm to wake him up.
“You’re forty minutes late already— traffic is gonna make it even worse, and you don’t have another day to reschedule this for the next two months, so I suggest you get up, Munson!”
Eddie watches through sleep-fogged eyes as Kelly, his assistant, throws his window curtains aside to let the morning sun seep into his room. There’s a pounding kick drum beating behind Eddie’s eyes, a result of Eddie falling into Jeff’s sinister persuasion to go out. He should stop listening to that asshole— he’s part of why Eddie married his soon-to-be ex-wife.
Eddie’s bones click and crack as he stretches, sits up, and lazily swings his legs over the side of his bed with a sleepy groan. He can hear the rustling sound of Kelly picking up laundry from his floor— something he’s told her multiple times not to do, but she does it anyway, so he’s given up on fighting her. He runs a hand over his face, a yawn wracking through his entire body before reaching over to his nightstand, feeling around for the box of cigarettes he knows he left the night before.
“I tossed them out,” Eddie glances up at Kelly, who is now grabbing the last of his laundry on the floor and leaving his room. “Go freshen up and get dressed; we need to leave now.”
Eddie’s doctor advised him to start weaning himself off the cancer sticks; something about it fucking with his gums, and that’s on top of the risks he’s running with the vocal strain it’s put on his voice. Eddie knows he should take it seriously, but he needs a lick of nic before spending the next three to four hours bickering with his wife about what’s his and hers.
Eddie drags himself out of bed, shuffling across the cool tile of his bedroom floor. He sleepily rubs his bare stomach, flipping the light switch and groaning, annoyed at the sudden brightness. He brushes his teeth and splashes water on his face before walking into his closet and sifting through the random pants and jackets strewn across the floor. There’s gotta be some smokes in here somewhere.
He finds a nearly empty pack of Marlboro reds and wastes no time sticking it between his lips, lighting it up with the lighter on his nightstand before getting dressed.
By the time Eddie steps into the law firm, his headache has intensified by about 80 beats per second, and he’s gone through the old pack of smokes. It feels as if the back of Eddie’s eyes have a heartbeat of their own, throbbing with every direction they turn. Eddie can hear his attorney giving him pointers for the conference, but if Eddie’s honest, he doesn’t plan on talking much, so he doesn’t pay close attention to what the man is saying.
When they enter the conference room, Eddie is seated across the table from his wife and offered a cup of coffee, to which Eddie gladly accepts to nurse his hangover. “You could at least take the glasses off.” A sweet voice that’s grown to grate every one of Eddie’s nerves whenever he hears it. He glares at his wife from across the table, and though nobody could see his eyes behind his glasses, everyone could sense the distaste behind his words, “Fuck off, Nezza.”
A strong hand is placed on Eddie’s shoulder, his attorney’s, stiffly squeezing the thick leather jacket. “How about we get started then? Before things get… rowdy.”
“Great idea.”
Now that voice—- that voice, Eddie could hear at any second of the day, any time of the year, and know exactly who was conducting that sweet song.
Eddie likes to believe that the universe works in mysterious ways and that things really do happen for a reason, but sometimes he swears whatever god is up there behind the clouds just likes to fuck with him for fun. Nothing, absolutely nothing, could’ve prepared Eddie for the sight he sees when he flits his gaze from Nezza to the woman sitting next to her.
For a moment, Eddie is taken back to a time he remembers in golden dream-like clouds of smoke—- the spring of ‘83 when he fell headfirst in love with the woman sitting next to his wife. And for that moment—- for that split fraction of a second, Eddie is happy to see you.
It’s surprising; after all this time he spent resenting you and spitting out the sour taste you'd left in his mouth, Eddie imagined he would never be able even to see a picture of you and not want to slam his head against the nearest surface he could get his hands on.
However, that feeling only lasts about .012 milliseconds before Eddie’s entire being is filled with every emotion he’d suppressed towards you over the last nine years. Eddie looks at you and sees the girl he loved and the girl that broke his heart. His last memory of you is so vivid that it almost outshines all the good from your past relationship. Almost. Like a python wrapped around his neck, Eddie chokes on adoration and hatred all in one breath.
If Eddie said it didn’t piss him off to an ungodly level that he has a sliver of excitement to see you, he would be lying. You had always known the best ways to wriggle under his skin.
This one takes the cake for the cruelest way so far.
————
Eddie looks the same.
Not much has changed on him throughout the years apart from expensive clothing, healthier-looking hair, and a little more muscle on his arms to fill out the black leather jacket clinging to his frame. He still has a knack for jewelry, you note from the priceless rings hugging nearly every slender finger of his and the chain resting against his chest, hidden beneath his shirt. He carries himself the same way, confidently with a smear of carefree and chaos. You couldn’t get a read on him when settled down in his seat across from Nezza, and the black sunglasses shielding his eyes didn’t help you decipher him any further.
He smells like Marlboro reds and a sharp cologne; dark scented and intense, easy to tell he’s the one wearing the scent. It’s a different scent than you remember from him. He’s swapped the cheap four-cent bottle of Brut for a more decadent scent— a mix of tonka bean, musk, and patchouli with a dash of something feminine you can’t quite put your finger on. The scent matches him better than Brut could ever amount to, but you find yourself reminiscent of the past.
Eddie doesn’t look your way until you speak, and either Eddie has mastered his poker face over the years, or he doesn’t remember you.
Not even briefly does Eddie’s expression falter from the bored look plastered on his face. The sunglasses do no justice either, and you wish the universe would strike them off his face at this very moment. You had forgotten what his eyes looked like in real-time and desperately wanted to remember— take a mental picture and shove it in the corner of your brain filled with essential memories, all things that make you smile, cry, and scream.
There’s a moment where you feel pained by Eddie’s unwavering reaction to seeing you. That feeling is quickly replaced with relief, relief that Eddie has matured just as much as you’d hoped he had. When you found out your client would be filing against Eddie, your high school boyfriend, you had initially panicked and paced the living room floor of your tiny studio apartment, thinking of ways to back out of the case. However, after a hefty glass of wine, you managed to persuade yourself that Eddie most likely isn’t still hung up on something as silly as a high school relationship. It happened nearly a decade ago; surely, you’ve both moved on, right?
With this indication, you feel the tension in your shoulders ease a little, hopeful that this process will be seamless, seeing as both parties want nothing to do with each other and Eddie holds no hard feelings against you.
Once the conference begins, you don’t look away in time to avoid Eddie’s gaze as he removes the glasses, your eyes landing on those dark pools of brown that you used to dip into each night. Vibrant and so full of life, full of untold stories and sights you’d missed out on in the last decade, a story unfolds beneath the glimmer of his eyes under the lights. They feel like home at first, but as you continue holding his gaze, your home becomes clouded by lightning and wind, dark storm clouds with a promise of a downpour.
As you gaze into Eddie’s eyes, you see nothing but the boy you left behind in the summer of ‘85.
————
Stomach growling and frustrated sighs indicate the need for a break at around 12:40 PM.
The conference had started on a good note, with seamless agreements between you, your client, and Eddie’s team. That was until your client decided to become rather difficult and demanding.
“We’ll pick up where we left off in ten minutes.”
The atmosphere in the room has become stuffy and tight over the hours, so you get up to stretch your legs on a short walk to the coffee cart in the hallway.
Your mind feels muddled, pushed to exhaustion from hours of reading documents and going back and forth with Eddie’s attorney. Nezza wants more than Eddie is willing to give, money-wise, property-wise, and everything else under the sun. You’re determined to get your client as much as possible, but it’s proving to be more of a struggle than expected; Eddie’s team is headstrong and unwilling to bend to your substantial advances. Oh, and Eddie’s been practically throwing daggers at you from across the table with each chance he can get.
As you stir in a sugar packet, you watch the dark brown liquid swirl in the foam cup. You fall into a short trance as you watch the tiny bubbles dance within your drink, but the sound of a throat clearing shatters the spell. You glance to your side where the person is standing and are surprised to be met with a leather-covered shoulder and dark brown curly hair.
“Are you done with the sugar?” Eddie points towards your hand, and you blink, stuck as you stare at him for a moment. You know you should be professional, you’re an established attorney, and you’re in the middle of doing your job, but you’re also 100% fucking human, so— “I don’t know, are you done sending me death glares from across the table or do you wanna keep being an asshole?”
Eddie grabs the jar of sugar packets from your hand, “You wouldn’t have to put up with it if you just… quit the case.” Eddie shrugs as if his advice is a task as easy as folding towels. You take offense to his response, eyebrows pinching together as you watch him rip open a packet and sprinkle sugar into his cup, “I can’t just drop a case, Eddie.”
Eddie mockingly laughs, “Really? That’s weird; I mean, considering how you kind of just dropped everything and fled the fucking state, I’m sure you can drop a case just as easily, sweetheart.”
His words hurt. As much as you wish he didn’t have that effect on you, it’s evident that he still does, considering how your neck heats up in anger. You don’t miss the pet name he slipped in; you hate that it makes your neck even warmer. “I didn’t flee the state; I went to fucking college— and how is that even my fault? I gave you the number to my dorm, and you never called.”
And Eddie remembers that letter you left him. He remembers it like the back of his hand. He memorized every sentence, including that stupid number you left for him. “Yes, I did. I called you after every show for months, and you never picked up!”
You spent eight years in New York, and out of those eight years, you spent four of them staring at an ugly green phone on the wall of your dorm hallway, waiting for it to ring so you could pick it up and hear his voice again. You asked your roommate to listen for a call if she was up studying late or if you went out and she stayed in. Now, you wonder if she failed you on her part because you would’ve never, in a hundred years, missed Eddie’s call. Never.
Before you can respond to the information, you are being called back into the room to resume the conference—  you’d almost forgotten that’s what you were here for.
You and Eddie let the man know you’ll be right there and watch as he walks back into the room. When you turn to Eddie, his gaze is no longer on you as he tosses the small wooden stirring stick in the trash.
Eddie is silent for a moment before he looks at you and gives a forced, close-lipped smile, “It’s nice to know you’re still full of shit.”
And then he’s gone. Eddie leaves you there, stunned and offended by his words. Eddie Munson thinks you’re full of shit— as if you were the only one to blame for your falling out. You feel stupid for believing in a better-evolved version of the Eddie you’d known. You wish his words didn’t affect you, but the conversation has left a bitter taste on your tongue. You glance down at the cup of coffee in your hands, and your stomach churns. You no longer have an appetite for the drink.
————
Late-night club hopping has never been your preferred way of spending a Saturday night. There’s a different type of energy in LA’s club scene than there is in New York. It was easy to have a good time in New York; the clubs are all close to one another and stay open nearly all night. In Los Angeles, it’s been a slow rise to liking the nightlife— clubs are more scattered, and on top of that, you learned the hard way that it’s difficult to even get into clubs when you’re not Madonna-level status. That last problem isn’t so much an issue now that you’ve settled in and made a few connections around the city.
Tonight you’re celebrating a friend from work's birthday. Penny was the first person you talked to at the law firm; she instantly made you feel at home and offered to buy you lunch at a cafe next door. The two of you have been joined at the hip ever since.
You’re happy to celebrate Penny’s birthday and glad to be tagging along with her in this new chapter of her life, but what you’re bothered about is the fact that you chose to wear the most uncomfortable shoes in your closet. You were under the impression that you would be eating dinner with Penny and a few of her friends, but somehow, dinner turned into a night-long clubbing adventure.
Logically, you have no one to blame but yourself for wearing Steve Madden pumps, but if Penny had told you the night would be long, you definitely wouldn’t have worn these god-awful shoes.
You’re sitting on a bar stool waiting for your drink and thinking about what excuse you’ll give Penny to go home when suddenly, you feel someone walk up beside you, waving over the bartender. You glance at the person and immediately look away, preparing to run for it before they notice.
Sadly, you’re not fast enough to escape his line of sight, “If I didn’t know any better, I’d say you’re stalking me.”
You turn to the man and take in the sight of him as you tilt your head. “Wouldn’t it be the other way around since I was… you know, minding my business until you came here.” You motion to where Eddie is standing, and he smirks, silently taking his drink when the bartender passes it to him.
“How’d you get in here anyways?” He asks. It’s not a bad question; sure, you’re a damn good attorney, but you’re of no celebrity status, and this club is one of the more difficult joints to get into. However, you still take offense to Eddie’s question.
Your eyes narrow slightly, debating whether you should continue entertaining Eddie or leave and find your friends. “If you’re going to continue to be an asshole, then I’m leaving.”
“Fine by me; I want nothing to do with you.” Eddie scoffs into the rim of his drink before taking a short sip. You roll your eyes, feeling like kids in elementary getting into petty fights. “What makes you think I want something to do with you?”
Eddie snickers over the rim of his glass, “The fact that you’re still sitting here says enough.”
You scoff, looking away from him as you shift in your seat, attempting to make it seem like you want to get away from him, but it only scoots you closer to him, your arm brushing his elbow. You panic at the touch but act as if it was nothing. “If my feet didn’t feel like they were about to fall off, I would be miles away from you by now.” You grumble as you distract yourself by tugging down the hem of your dress.
“I don't believe that.”
You let out an exasperated breath, looking over at Eddie with an annoyed expression as you speak, “Not everyone is head over heels dying to be around you.”
It might be the alcohol or Eddie’s sinister pheromones you’re breathing in paired with the sound of his ridiculously annoying laugh—- you’re not sure which it is, but you find yourself enjoying this back-and-forth banter. A big part of you is frustrated by Eddie’s insistent prodding at your nerves, but your other part is intrigued. Too stuck to grab your things, bid him goodnight, and leave.
You almost think you heard him wrong when he responds, “We’ll see if you’re saying the same thing once I get you in the back.”
You blink, momentarily silent, as you glance at him to watch him calmly sip his drink. Not a single hint of regret or shock flashes across his face, and you almost think you imagined it until you see a ghost of a smirk brush the corner of his lips. “Excuse me?” And like a child, Eddie’s response is quick and irritating, “You’re excused.”
“You’re out of your mind if you think I’m willingly going anywhere with you that’s not a fucking law firm or courtroom.”
Eddie laughs, glancing at you and nodding once, “Sure.” You hate how smug he is, and you hate that he’s so fucking right, but you swear you won’t fold for whatever stupid game he’s playing. “Sure?”
You watch Eddie tip back his drink and finish what’s left, placing the empty glass on the bar countertop before lazily nudging it forward. You shift back with an annoyed grimace when he turns to you and leans an elbow against the bar. He points over your shoulder, and you catch yourself before you follow his lead, gaze stuck on his face as you prepare for whatever bullshit is about to leave his mouth.
“I’m gonna head to the restroom to take a piss. You can sit here and bitch about everything under the sun, or you can quit being a pussy and meet me there.”
And without further explanation or interaction, Eddie gets up and leaves. You turn and watch in shock as he walks off, watching his back until it’s washed away by the sea of people on the dance floor. You turn back to the bar and gaze at your drink. For a moment, you think this might be some elaborate scheme Eddie has to fuck you over. Complying with this proposition, Eddie has now opened, could very well lead to you losing your job, something you’re not very keen on doing.
You glance towards the direction Eddie had walked off in and groan, briefly shutting your eyes as temptation washes over you. There’s no way this is real. There’s no way you’re actually thinking about going into that restroom with Eddie.
You take a deep breath, clenching your teeth in thought before muttering a curse. You’re fucking yourself over with this one, but you do it anyways. You toss back the rest of your drink, wincing at the bitterness, before hopping off the barstool.
Your adrenaline is so high that you don’t even feel the ache in your feet as you cross the dance floor, maneuvering through sweaty bodies and spilled drinks toward the bright neon RESTROOMS sign.
From the corner of your eye, you see Penny standing at her rented-out section as she tosses back a shot with the girls you’d arrived with. You should turn around and join them, return to celebrating Penny’s birthday, and forget all about your interaction with Eddie. That’s what you should do, but you don’t. You continue walking towards the restrooms, mentally going back and forth with yourself until you reach the door and wrap your hand around the handle.
However, the door opens before you can fully prepare to open it, and the scent of hand soap and Eddie hits you in the face. Your wide eyes meet Eddie’s glinting gaze. A smirk spreads across his lips, and he snickers, “I’d say I’m surprised, but that’d be a lie.”
Your gaze is hot and heavy as you stare up at him. The sounds of the club you're in seem muffled as you spend your last seconds considering what you’re about to do. You should really turn around.
You tilt your head up, silently sizing Eddie and daring him, a tipping point where you both know there’s no going back now—- especially not when you mesh your lips against his and stumble into the restroom. You plan to blame this on the alcohol.
Eddie makes quick work of turning to press your back against the door, fumbling to lock the door as you grumble a breathless ‘Fuck you’ against his lips.
“I intend to, sweetheart.”
You hate how stupid and witty the response is, but it makes your stomach twist in need, nonetheless. Eddie’s hands are roaming and squeezing you wherever he can reach, hiking up your dress enough to slink a few digits into the hand of your skimpy panties, snapping them against your waist and smirking when you push up against him. Eddie manages to speak in between haste kisses, “I’m gonna be honest; I didn’t think you’d give in this easily.”
Eddie is now ushering you towards the sink, softly snickering at the gasp that escapes you when the cold marble digs into your lower back. “Are you trying to say I’m easy?”
You can’t hold back the moan that slips from you when Eddie’s hand slithers between your thighs to press a thumb against your clit. “Maybe… also just pointing out that you clearly missed me.”
You don’t answer him, leaning forward to capture his lips in a heated kiss as your hips rock back and forth against his touch. You smooth your hand down his chest and over his belt to grasp the heavy bulge between his thighs, humming when he moans, “Looks like you missed me more, Munson.”
You giggle when he grunts in annoyance, fingers dipping into the waistband of your panties before shucking them down your legs and lifting the flimsy garment for you to see with a smirk, “Won’t be needing these anymore, will you?”
You grimace in faux disgust as you watch him stuff the soaked material in his back pocket. “Gross,” you comment, although Eddie doesn’t answer, busying himself with pulling you off the counter, flipping you around to face the sink, and eyeing you through the neon-lighted mirror. “You’re a perv; you know that?” You add as Eddie wraps an arm around your front and hikes your dress to sink his hand between your thighs.
Your shaky fingers grasp Eddie’s wrist, hips squirming as he begins to rub your clit, dipping a finger lower to spread your sticky arousal. “If I were you, I would start being very nice to me.” His voice is low and gravely against your ear as you smile, gazing back into his darkened gaze through the glass reflection. You push back against him, and you both sigh in pleasure. “Just fuck me, Eddie.”
You gasp when he sinks a thick digit into your weeping cunt, slowly pushing it in and out of you to create a sinful twist in your tummy. You shake your head in protest, although your hips rock against his thrusts. “No, no, I don’t need it. I don’t need that. Just fuck me, please?” You repeat, voice teetering on the edge of a whine.
“God, you’re still a fucking brat. So used to getting what you want, hm? Despite his comment, he doesn’t give you what you’d asked for. Instead, he slips in another finger, greedily squeezing at your chest with his other hand. Your thighs tremble as his fingertips delicately massage that sweet spot hidden between your wet walls, a shaky hand reaching up to grasp his hand as he fondles your breasts over your dress. “Not anymore, princess,” His voice is low and foggy with sex, purring against your ear with ease as he plays with you. “This time, you’ll earn it like a good slut. You’re going to have to ask me very nicely if you want it that bad.” “A-ah…Fuck you.”
Eddie laughs at your response, digging his face into your neck when you throw your head back, inhaling the intoxicating scent of your perfume. He presses a kiss to the base of your neck, and you hate how it makes your stomach twist, thighs clenching around his hand, causing him to pause. “Keep them open.” He warns, ignoring your pathetic attempts at rutting against his hand.
When you don’t obey his instruction, Eddie brings his foot in between your pump-clad feet, knocking the toe of his shoe against both heels, causing your legs to part, shaky limbs failing you as you stumble in his hold. Eddie chuckles, nipping your jaw as he sinks another finger into your soaking heat. Your moan is loud and pitiful as you reach forward to grasp the sink counter for stability. “Oh my god—” “Jesus, you’re fucking tight. Barely taking three fingers.” Your moans are high-pitched as you rock your hips against Eddie, nails digging into the skin of his flexing wrist as he fucks you with his fingers.
The sloshing sounds from between your legs are just loud enough to hear over the booming music of the club barely, and if Eddie’s fingers weren’t fucking you so well, you would’ve felt ashamed. You hardly notice Eddie’s free hand traveling to the low neck of your dress, tugging the material down to expose your chest. He groans at the sight, palming one of your tits as his mouth latches to the side of your neck. His fingers pinch and roll your nipples, his tongue warm and wet as he licks up your neck, humming at the taste of you and smiling when he feels you tremble against his body. “I can feel you squeezing me, princess; you gonna cum for me?” He whispers against your ear, humming when you hastily nod. “I don’t think so.”
He slows the draw of his fingers, softly petting at your walls to give enough sensation to have your eyes rolling but not enough to tip over the edge. You frustratedly huff, “Eddie—” “Good sluts ask to come, you know that.”
Your stomach twists at his words, hips squirming in search of more, more, more. You have a lot of pride; you’ve been told it’s your strongest and worst quality before— but here in this dingy club restroom, with Eddie’s overwhelming presence surrounding you and the incessant need to cum gnawing at every cell in your body, you find your pride quickly dwindling like a flame under water. The time when you need your pride the most, it’s nowhere to be found.
“Please, Eddie.” You whisper so quietly Eddie almost misses it. He smiles, “Since I know how hard that was for you, I’ll take it— but I won't be so kind next time, princess.” He pulls his fingers out of you and urges you to turn around and face him.
He nudges you back to sit on the edge of the sink, stepping between your thighs and opening them wide enough to see your glistening cunt, sticky arousal winking up at him beneath the dim neon lighting. “N-next time?” You take in a sharp breath as he hitches your leg around his waist
He chuckles, glancing at your swollen lips as you gaze up at him trying to fight through the hazy fog of arousal. Eddie runs three fingers over your clit before sinking back into you, a low hum rattling from his chest when your shaky hands grasp his shirt, fingers curling and wrinkling the material, “Next time.”
Your words get lost on you when he begins fucking you again, eyes fluttering shut as your legs subconsciously tighten around his waist. You can feel his breath against your top lip, and you fight the urge to seek out his lips with yours. You push up into him, mumbling incoherent pleas into the air. You lick your lips, pussy clenching when the tip of your tongue catches Eddie’s bottom lip. Eddie doesn’t wait for you to make a move this time, his free hand reaching up to grip your jaw, fingertips digging into your cheek as he pushes his lips against yours. You both moan into the kiss, your hips grinding into the thrusts of his fingers.
You keep kissing Eddie until you can’t, too overwhelmed by the pending promise of an orgasm. You slide away from Eddie’s lips and nuzzle into his neck, finding solace in the soft brush of his hair against your face, the distant but familiar scent of his shampoo invading your senses. “I’m gonna come.” You whisper, nails digging into his biceps as your thighs quiver.
Eddie keeps his hand working between your thighs, thanking the many hours he’s spent playing guitar for training his wrist to maintain endurance. His other hand dances up your heaving back, dipping beneath the curtain of your hair to grip the back of your neck, softly squeezing in encouragement. “Let go, baby. Let me feel it.”
You nearly sob when you finally tip over, body tensing before melting against Eddie’s body in shambles of incoherent words and shaking limbs. You can hear the sticky wet substance of your release squelching around his fingers; you can feel it smearing against your thighs and dripping onto the cool tiles of the floor, and you almost feel ashamed when Eddie points it out, “Fuckkk, you’ve been saving this for me, haven’t you?” You hardly register his words, but you nod, mewling as you nuzzle deeper against him, thighs twitching when you teeter on the edge of sensitivity.
“I… Enough, Eddie, please fuck me.” You’re practically begging, pulling away from his neck to blink up at him blearily, sex-drunk hands fumbling to reach out for him. Eddie kisses you and chuckles against your lips, fingers finally slowing down. He pulls away with a lewd hum, leaning back to watch as he removes his fingers from your cunt, dragging the drenched digits up to smear your arousal around your clit, grinning when your thighs twitch.
You try to catch your breath as you silently watch him bring his fingers up to his lips, sinking them into his mouth to sinfully lick your cum from his fingers. He glances at you with a smirk around his fingers, and you squirm in your spot. “You’re being a tease.”
He releases his fingers with a pop before stepping away, “Sorry to cut this short, sweetheart, but I’ve gotta run, and I’m sure your friends are worried about where you went.” You watch in disbelief as he glances in the mirror and fixes a few unruly hair pieces. He looks your way and drops his eye in a wink, “I’ll see you later, princess.”
You silently gape in shock, watching him turn around and stride toward the door. Eddie can feel your eyes throwing darts at him, and he doesn’t bother hiding his smile as he opens the door and steps out.
You have to take a moment to wrap your head around it, but once you do, you wind up more annoyed with yourself for falling so quickly into Eddie’s trap. You clean yourself up and make yourself look presentable again before leaving the restroom to find your friends.
“Where have you been? I’ve been looking everywhere for you!” Penny exclaims once she sees you. She gasps when you get closer, and she sees your neck, leaning in to get a better look, causing you to slap a hand over the sore spot. “Oh, my god. Who?” “What?” “You were definitely screwing someone in the back! Who?”
You wince at her volume, quickly shushing her, “Nobody, Penny, this is old.”
Penny rolls her eyes and opens her mouth to say something, but you quickly cut her off, “I have an early meeting tomorrow, Pen; I have to get going.” Penny frowns but understands either way, giving you a quick hug and bidding you goodbye for the night. You leave her with a final Happy Birthday and make your way out of the club, already yearning for the comfort of your bed.
Before getting a taxi, you find yourself walking into a nearby store and purchasing a CD of Corroded Coffin’s first album, letting the CD burn a hole through your hands on the ride home. When you get home, you fall asleep atop your sheets before you can listen to the record.
You spend the rest of your night dreaming of hazy summers in Hawkins with a young curly-headed boy you knew once upon a time.

s5 episode 16 thoughts
are we sat for some REAL scully and mulder time?? some classic case action?? will mulder eat sunflower seeds and scully do an autopsy?? we must begin to find out.
(well, i found out. and i diagnose this episode with lacking in scully)
this episode really didn’t do anything for me, which is often the case when scully does not feature prominently. it’s like, if she’s not going to be on the screen, why are we here? to just watch a bunch of random other stuff? absolutely not. this is the mulder AND scully show. frankly, they’re more like two halves of a whole than separate people. unless the writers have cooked up a specific and intentional solo episode, focusing just on mulder rarely works!
mulder, you are my special boy, but it is also clear that you are the writer’s special boy, and that does kinda piss me off, because i believe that being a special boy is a gender neutral activity
anyway.
we begin in delaware, where someone, later revealed to be named marty, is walking up some stairs. she lights a cigarette on the stove (which seems dangerous) and then receives some spooky visions of a man being stabbed. which is not great.
the cops find the stabbed guy in a motel with marty hiding behind the curtain!! she’s covered in blood. and blind. they make a big point of this.
is this gonna be like, diversity win! the killer is blind! or did she start to sit down for a smoke in front of the TV and then get teleported to the scene?
scully tells us that the deceased, named little monster (put your paws up!) is a drug dealer that used children in his dealings. wow. he sounds like an awful guy. do not disgrace the little monster name.
(just now, as i edit my notes, realizing how funny it is we get scully saying “little monster”… scully lady gaga fan confirmed?! she bent time and space to stream disease)
mulder points out he has the same pair of pants as the dead drug dealer. classic mulder.
marty glenn was found at the scene of the crime. she has been blind since birth and has an extensive rap sheet. how could she bleed a man out with surgical precision, you ask? idk, maybe she’s just that good
LMAOOO this guy who is here from the case, detective pennock, is convinced marty has a sixth sense, which i am sure mulder is not used to hearing. he must have been relieved.
bahaha when they come to visit her, marty clarifies that it’s not magic that lets her know it’s detective pennock, it’s his trash cologne. read him for filth.
she asks who is with him, though. when mulder introduces himself she asks “and the lady?” so she is very perceptive. or perhaps she can see things in other ways…? supernaturally?
ohhh, she asks mulder what he’s staring at and he says “an innocent woman… i hope” now what is afoot here…
(i should have known. mulder and that Need to save people who often don’t even want his help)
scully is asking her questions. ohh, marty’s a real firecracker. marty yells out to “stinky”, the detective, who is watching through a one way mirror!! she says she fed the murder weapon to her seeing eye dog. so marty’s got jokes, i see.
mulder is intentionally provoking her, trying to point out that she was doing an awful job cleaning up at the murder site, and clearly she couldn’t have done the whole killing thing, because she is BLIND, so why don’t you just tell us who did it so we can go out and get ‘em?
will this provoke her into revealing her hand?
she slaps his cup of water away and tells him to go to hell! so i guess this did not have its intended effect
mulder thinks she’s honed all her senses around her blindness, and that she is trying to project an image of confidence. but he doesn’t think that she killed the little monster, even if she won’t explain herself and somehow knew there was only one stab wound. ohhh, do you think she’s covering for some kid that the drug dealer worked with going in there and taking care of business on their own??
(damn. would have been cool if that was what happened. kids killing drug dealers is so rarely a plot point in media. together we can change this)
scully is going to the crime scene with detective pennock while mulder is staying behind to “investigate something”. nooo, don’t separate! you’ll make me sad :(
(the agents separating either leads to soul-crushing angst or an incredibly boring episode)
marty’s taking a polygraph, but she wants to skip the baseline questions and get to the good stuff. and while i do not believe in polygraphs, i can imagine that if they DID do anything of use, skipping the calibration stage would be a bad idea. she denies all involvement with the murder. hmmm. it seems she’s lying about having no reason to know little monster, though.
mulder writes “did you see the murder?” on a piece of legal paper (i like his handwriting!) and shows it to the man operating the test, who reacts like he’s pulling some sick joke. but marty says “why don’t you just ask me yourself?”. and again the polygraph machine says she is lying when she says no!!!
mulder calls to share this news and LMAOOOO thank god scully said what i have been thinking for 5 seasons now: “would you like me to remind you why polygraphs are inadmissible in court?” <- truly a woman of science and reason!! my beloved scully!!
ohhhhh, she tells mulder to give her a call when he figures it out… and then finds bloody gloves tucked into the place where you put used shaving blades at the crime scene!
(having a special place where you put used shaving blades is absolutely CRAZY, btw. i feel like that is just asking for a disaster. but i guess that leaving them in the trash would do the same thing! oh, a glimpse into a world i was glad to not be around for…)
marty is seeing more terrifying visions of a woman in a bar in great danger!!! she’s calling out for a phone. she calls and tells some bartender about a guy hitting on a redhead at the end of the bar!!! and he’s right there!!!! the woman is able to escape because she tells him to leave her alone!!! and that she’s watching him!!!
damn… does she know this guy??
they are giving her the gloves found in the razor slot, saying her prints are already all over them!!
mulder points out she hasn’t applied for any benefits, which leads scully to wonder if she is lying about being blind! hmm…
i also love “okay, so by your reasoning, the killer took off with the murder weapon but not the gloves, leaving marty to come in, go straight to the gloves and hide them in the one place that nobody would easily think to find them” (he nods) “i think that’s the most accurate scenario available to us right now”
-said while looking deeply into scully’s eyes… yeah <3 king of facts and logic /s
the guy who was hitting on the woman at the bar is trying to sell little monster’s drugs!!!
now they’re testing marty to learn if she is really blind, and while the answer is yes, her pupils dilate at one point, when she happens to be seeing the visions. mulder goes in to ask what she sees, but is interrupted by detective pennock!! the DA is saying he won’t try her without a murder weapon, and to let her go.
she’s checking out and mulder watches her go. scully says there are two kinds of blood on the gloves, and she’s sending them to the lab!!! shoutout to the lab. an unsung hero.
meanwhile, the murderer is assaulting the redhead, and marty sees the visions. she yells that she needs to get to spring street and then walks into traffic trying to get there!!! a man guides her there. shoutout to that guy for real because she was going to get hit by a car.
she’s trying to find anything on spring street, and she finds the poor woman’s body in the dumpster!! and now her prints are all over her body!!
marty comes back to the police office to say she killed them both with the blood on her hands!!
does she think this will make the visions stop??
time to deploy mulder. he lights her cigarette, and says he likes and admire her. he thinks she tried to stop the murders, but didn’t get there in time. and she needs to help them stop him before he- whoever he is- kills again. he says he won’t let her plead guilty!! oh, mulder’s need to save everybody……
the murderer is on the phone, and the person who was going to buy drugs from him says he won’t do it; someone is clearly gunning for him, and he does not want to get involved. some old girlfriend called him to warn against dealing with him?!? the killer is trying to convince phone man to go through with the deal, but he is getting mad.
mulder is going over the files, when detective pennock walks in saying she signed the confession. claiming to have killed them for drugs, and she even knows where to find them! she leads them to the murderer’s drugs!
mulder doesn’t buy it at all.
“you are one skeptical guy, agent mulder!” <- LMAO he was shocked by that. been called a lot of things in his life, but not skeptical lmaooo
scully’s calling! neither of the blood types on the glove match marty’s!!! she didn’t do it!!!
the dealer guy just watched them take the drugs…
mulder’s back. you can’t get away from him. he sits next to marty in her cell. he says he knows who she’s protecting!! “you’re protecting the man who murdered your mother” <- HUH???
she died from a single stab wound to the right kidney!! just like the others!!!
but she never met her mother?? somehow she was pregnant with marty when it happened but died?? and they were able to save marty?? how is that possible?? you know what! i’m not going to worry about it.
so the blood flow interruption caused her blindness… and maybe during that time she gained a connection between herself and the killer where she sees through his eyes. and that doesn’t make her responsible. her being in jail won’t accomplish anything. he tells her they’ll find him with or without her help.
this is pretty crazy world building to just dump on us at this point
they take her somewhere else in cuffs, but she’s receiving another vision!!! one of herself!!! the killer must be near!!! he is!! he’s watching her get loaded into the car!!
off to a women’s detention center. where mulder is already there!!! she’s being released because she is no longer a suspect.
they found the guy!!! charles!!! it was his blood on the glove!
OH SHIT HE’S HER FATHER??? that was their connection??? she’s crying upon hearing this :(
detective pennock will not pursue aiding and abetting charges IF she agrees to help them find the guy. ooooo… she agrees. on the condition that she will be protected until he is caught.
wait, why is mulder talking into a walkie talkie hot? what the hell. don’t worry about that actually.
scully is here too, listening to this explanation. “well, if all this is true, let’s go get him” <- that’s the spirit!!! who cares if the spiritual nonsense is real, we have crime to solve!
but he doesn’t think the killer will be in there…
detective pennock is in marty’s room while she packs, saying she doesn’t need to bring everything. but she says it’s too late!! he’s already here!!
she knocks pennock out with a tea kettle and steals his gun!!! go get him!!
mulder and scully are rushing back to her place. the killer is here!! he is approaching her!!!
OHHH SHE STANDS UP!!! “i hate the way you see me” and BLAM!! shot right in the head!!!
pennock is locking her up, saying she did this one. they watch as she is walked away.
mulder comes to visit, offering his hand through the cell. she says all she sees now is the sea, near where her father slash the killer used to live.
“well, you’re lucky he wasn’t a fan of the ice capades”, he says, once again referring to something i know nothing about.
(i looked it up and it’s a traveling ice skating show. why does bro hate the ice skaters so much! anyway, i threw wikipedia $15 for always being there for me like a best friend. and i still want to read an ice skating fic so you didn’t persuade me you’d look bad out on the rink, mulder)
okay, so final thoughts: while this was a semi-interesting episode with an attempt to pull on my heartstrings, and a noble one at that, there was barely any scully at all. and this is essential to my enjoyment of an episode.
also, the lore reveal that her mother was murdered and her dad was the killer, and in the process of somehow killing her mother but not her, they formed a psychic connection, was just too sudden for me. it felt weird and abrupt and like it wasn’t hinted to at all, and then it was supposed to make perfect sense. it did not.
listen, every season has a few flop episodes, and maybe that’s what we’re dealing with here. so far though, i think s5 has had the highest bangers to flops ratio, which is to say that most of the episodes have been very good, so we are due a less interesting one here or there.
but you know what would make them more interesting? scully <3
anyway, as always, tell me what you think! was this episode also just meh for you, or did you love it? or hate it? know any fun facts? any interesting memories from when you watched it the first time? please do share!

Some Of My Favorite Cool Staging Choices in NPMD: a ramble, by me!
(is "staging" the right term? idk I wasn't a theater kid)
this will contain spoilers, which you can probably guess since it will be tagged as such.
When we see Richie getting attacked in the cold open, he's facing the audience; when it happens again (haha whoops) he's facing away from the audience & we get to see his attacker. idk man I just think the change in perspective is rad lol
Richie and Ruth taking the stage first for "High School Is Killing Me" because they're the ones who... y'know. (rip 💀)
when that first curtain thing lifts and reveals the rest of the stage 👌🏻
when Steph is trying to get Pete to help her cheat on the test the spotlight on them also lights up Grace before she butts in and gets them in trouble (foreLIGHTENing eh? eh?)
the rotating nerd huddle in "Literal Monster" brings me so much joy like Yes, put those nerds on a giant Lazy Susan and watch 'em go
the nerds sneaking along in the background when Max is singing
the bit with Miss Tessberger (sp?) leaving and returning to the stage from the opposite side
just everything about Pete & Steph's phone call. everything.
the stage going almost completely dark at the end of "Cool As I Think I Am" is fucking epic ok it's such a cool transition. also Max's "I bring light to darkness" and the lighting changes for that. they're both so cool
the bathtub prop. it just looks like it was fun to make. :)
when Steph is talking to Ruth & Richie and then she just turns and they're sneaking into the bathroom. it's like a movie transition in my brain. (also Mariah's little jump like she's trying to look into a stall is adorable)
NERDY PRUDES GOING TO THE WAYLON (sp?) PLACE MY BELOVED 💙 1. walking around the orchestra pit is cool & it's a fun, slightly-more-distanced throwback to when they walk thru the audience in TGWDLM & BF; 2. cool blue lighting + silhouettes, need I say more; 3. the tattered background descending as they walk is fucking magical
it's technically not part of the show at all but i have to give a shoutout to the person near the camera who goes "oh? oh?" when Pete & Steph exchange their cute lil looks in the Waylon House 😂
Richie moving behind the tattered curtains with the camera. also I know it isn't visible but the knowledge that the skele'on costume glows in the dark gives me life. (and Steph giving Ruth a thumbs-up when she's scaring Max??? adorable)
did they blur the npmd logo and put it over Max as he's dying? i fuckin love it no joke
that row of lights onstage just silently clicking off before Max shows up to get Richie 💀💀💀 and then they slowly come back RED
wHEN THE REST OF THE CAST LINES UP TO SILENTLY STAND WITNESS FOR RICHIE'S DEATH 💀💀💀💀💀
the pauses in Jeff's announcement to let everybody groan after their name is called (Joey's "ouhh noo" gets me every time)
I haven't really mentioned choreography because idk how to talk about dancing but... "Hatchet Town" my beloved <3 (all of the choreography in the show is so fun & cool)
BBQ monologues!! the stage is a stage! (whoa, is this tgwdlm???) Love the brief single spotlight on Ruth when she goes on, and bonus points for the red, white, & blue lighting bc barbecues are intrinsically linked to the 4th of July in my brain (🇺🇲🔥)
when Grace is talking to Detective Shapiro I love how gray the stage goes, especially after how colorful the BBQ monologue was, like ugh <3 it makes it feel more serious and important like shit's about to get real (it is)
Officer Bailey (I think that's his name? i do not trust my ears) just angrily moving the chairs after Grace steals his gun and escapes custody 😂
obligatory Beanies Paulkins & HCB scene 2.0 mention <3
Pete sweetie you were just at a football game how did you mix it up with baseball you fuckin nerd (affectionate)
The Chair Mishap™ (I'm not sure but I think all 3 of them broke there, to varying degrees)
Max chasing Solomon off the stage is fun, loved that. (oh shit if he gets you next make it thr... four. you'll be four. or five, technically...? are we still counting Max? this point got derailed.)
the squad car! the lights up top, the brake lights, and also I love when the car turns and everybody just leans to the side (SiS is my favorite for this). also Max just nyooming by as Shapiro takes off is hilarious.
HOLDING COURT WITH THE VOID!!! the increasing whispers, the lighting, the LORDS APPEARING, holy SHIT
the white lights & fog during the slow-mo bullet scene idk it just makes it for me
the homecoming disco ball and the different spotlights are great :D
the group pose at the end of "Best of Me"
the colored lights & Lords laughing at the beginning of "Dirty Dudes" 🤩
okay! that's everything that caught my eye on my fourth watch, lol. obviously there are many many many more awesome little details and funny bits but I wanted to focus more on the set & staging type stuff. it's really cool and interesting to me, especially after Black Friday's glorious secret Wiggly.
if you read all of this I hope you had fun!!
if you didn't have fun, feel free to keep that fact to yourself! 👉🏻👉🏻

gender rant under the cut
ok here's the thing i've been on t for a little over a year now and i had top surgery back in september of '22 so like i'm cooking right im a little guy in an incubator and my voice has changed for sure and my bottom growth is growing and im getting more hair in places etc etc so like things are happening right. but i'm also 5'2" and have a big ole ass and while my voice has changed it isn't changed enough to pass and while yes i have more body hair plenty of cis girls have more body hair than me and like basically i'm getting on and off dysphoria for not passing. i don't even WANT to pass as a cis man, i just want to NOT be read immediately as a girl. you know? and frankly i'm happy with the body hair and bottom growth and it'd be nice if my fat redistribution kicked in a little more but i'm comfortable with my weight etc etc like....frankly i think it's mostly the voice. the voice and the face. like if my face looked more boyish and my voice sounded more boyish i think the rest of my body would coast cause i've seen enough chubby guys of various shapes to not really feel that self conscious about my body. it's the face and voice that sell it.
and the other thing is like....i have this thing where it's like 'i don't pass as a boy therefore i'm not one' when i don't put that requirement on any other queer person but for ME living it mentally? it's hard to put together the 'i walk around and am read as a girl, and i was raised as a girl, and hell i frankly WAS a girl up until my 20's like that's a part of who i am and im not ashamed of that, i love child me she is important to who i am as a person and frankly i'm grateful to be trans in that way, i think growing up a girl can make me a better guy" (and yeah there's a lot of privilege to be able to say i love being trans, i'm in a large city and work in an industry where queerness is accepted and often celebrated so like. i know. i'm really very very lucky and im extremely grateful for that) but mentally, it's hard for me to even see myself as a transmasc person when i don't SEE it physically, AND because my insides are still me. like i'm still me. and i didn't grow up as feeling like a boy in a girls body. i'm still some kind of nonbinary, still very queer in general, like being bi puts an interesting spin on this too since i have never been and don't associate my personal self with lesbian spaces, or gay men spaces, i sort of float in any queer generalities that people are into. but yeah, never really clicked with lesbian specific environments. i love lesbians but im just not one.
BUT i was raised a girl, so i feel COMFORTABLE around women, often times more than men. queer people in general of any gender are number 1, but ya know. the gist is coming off of a gig the last month that was very queer coded in the musical we were doing, and being surrounded by queer women making lesbian jokes, i felt...simultaneously left out (no one was leaving me out, to be clear, i mean within my own personal identity crisis lol) and also too included. i don't know. a lot of it is in my head, people are often good about my pronouns and frankly i don't KNOW how my usual colleagues see me as a person, if they have to work harder to reframe their interpretation of me away from "girl" and into "transmasc person" since i worked with a number of them before i started medically transitioning. thankfully i always read as a queer person haha. i have that going for me, which does feel very affirming.
idk. even my own apartment decor gives me dysphoria sometimes, which drives me crazy!! i like my apartment decor! I keep trying to do little things to "masc" it up, neutralize it a little, even tho i love all the things i've put in my home. i need new curtains.
there's nothing more to do about it right now i guess, besides try and take more active steps toward my legal name change, and potentially switching from t gel to injections, but that scares me because i'm afraid of doing it wrong and hurting myself. the gel is safer that way. and the dose is daily so i think it gives are more consistent level throughout the week. i also don't know exactly how much i want to pass as "just some guy" even tho this entire rant is literally about that. i think that my fear is that i look cis/straight, which frankly idk that i ever even would based on how i am as a person, so idk why i'm worried about it. basically, i want to stop feeling like i'm 'pretending' to be transmasc. cause sometimes it feels like it's all a lie and im actually just a girl who doesn't want to be a girl but is stuck as one. especially since i don't want to be a cis guy either. i also don't want to lose my ties to my past - i don't connect with womanhood, but i don't want to lose the "sisterhood" for lack of a better term? But also really want to be part of the queer "brotherhood" that i feel like i can't be based on where i am as a person? idk i feel a lot of the time that when im in my own home, im just a little goosey guy. the second i leave my apartment and im percieved, i'm a masculine woman to the world. and even tho masculine women are the fucking shit, im just not that!! and so. dysphoria.

Almond's office was a standard, no-nonsense, place perfectly suited to getting work done. Even in the darker hours of night, Almond could vouch for this fact, often working through the worst of his paperwork by lamplight. Though Parfaedia was never truly dark, he kept the curtains drawn and the windows shut, preferring as little of the outside hustle and bustle in his office as he could manage to keep out.
Though he kept the curtains drawn and the windows shut, he never once thought to lock them. His office was well off the ground, and any sensible cookie who wanted to see him would go through ground security first. Unfortunately, his visitor was not a sensible cookie, or perhaps it could be said that his visitor was much too sensible a cookie.
The latching of the window clicked, and the window slid open with the dull, slightly sticky sounding thud of a window that had never been opened before. Almond looked up from his desk, paperwork by lamplight at midnight temporarily abandoned by his attention as a cookie parted the curtains by his window and slipped into the room.
"What," Almond said flatly, "the hell."
"My my, good evening to you too, Commissioner." Phantom Bleu stepped further into the room, tipping themself into an extravagant bow.
Almond abruptly stood, his chair skidding on the floor behind him. "You're supposed to be at the Parfaedia Art Museum."
Phantom Bleu stood up straight, their posture of ease and their expression faintly amused, even despite their shocked tone. "I wasn't aware I had a schedule to abide by, Commissioner. Do enlighten me."
"Do you have any idea," Almond seethed, coming around his desk and approaching the phantom thief, "how much effort went into setting up a trap there to catch you? Talking to the owners, devising a trap elaborate enough to catch you without disturbing the exhibits, setting it up with the staff… The paperwork, Phantom Bleu."
The thief only looked down at Almond with that amused glint in their eyes.
"And yet here you are, not caught, climbing through the window into my office." Almond stopped in front of them, his arms crossed, simmering like a freshly brewed cup of coffee.
"Is that all?" The thief asked, and it was through immeasurably strong self restraint that Almond merely sighed and lifted a hand to pinch his brow.
"I suppose the last thing I have to ask is why you have seen fit to break into my office."
"There we go," Phantom Bleu said brightly, stepping back and around Almond as deftly as a cat might. They were over by his desk before he could even fully turn around, peering down at the documents he'd been working through. "Now you're asking the important questions."
Striding over to the desk, he put himself between them and the documents. "Those are classified," he said firmly, "and you need to get out of my office."
"Oh?" The thief smiled, the monocle on their face glinting in the light of his desk lamp. "But you always put all this effort into catching me. Here I've delivered myself to you on a silver platter, and you wish me gone? You make a man feel unwanted."
Stunned, Almond could only stare, the thoughts in his mind whirling too fast to be concrete. "A man?" was all he could even think to ask, his voice faint.
Phantom Bleu shrugged with a smile, turning away from Almond and making their way across the room. Their cape fluttered with the swift movement, their hair swaying where it had previously lay against their back, tied together in that low knot that typically rested on their waistline. "I am a man unwanted, a woman unloved, a cookie undesired, but most importantly, I am whatever is most convenient for me. Which do you prefer? The sentiment is the same."
"Which do I-?" Almond shook his head, clearing it of the temporary confusion. He followed the thief across the room, his voice taking on an edge of impatience. "Cut the idle talk, Phantom Bleu, why are you here?"
They didn't answer for a moment, attention taken by their sudden need to throw the curtains of the other window they had approached wide open. Parfaedia was never truly dark, but it was mostly silver moonlight that flooded in, alongside the faint yellow of the streetlights and the windows of other cookies who were still awake at this hellish hour.
"I am here, Commissioner, because I have information for you that I think you will find quite useful." The phantom thief turned, and with the strange mix of silver and yellow light behind them, they looked ethereal. "If I may be so bold to assume, one of your departments is currently having poor progress in hunting down a particular group of cookies. Smugglers."
Almond blinked, his confusion quickly masking itself under a guarded look. "Get to your point."
"I am pursuing them as well." The phantom thief moved away from the window, away from the light that made them look like a living eclipse. They made their way over to Almond's desk, and he hurried to follow. "They have taken something of mine that I would like to have returned. Unfortunately, I am only one cookie."
"So, this information you're offering," Almond said slowly, piecing together the thief's motivations. "In exchange for the help of the PPD?"
"Precisely, my dear Commissioner." The thief stopped in front of his desk, and Almond did as well. "I always enjoy it when you and your protégé are able to keep up with me. This is mutually beneficial for the both of us. I get what is rightfully mine returned to me, and you disband a group of smugglers and put them all behind bars."
"I would be a fool to agree to this without knowing what it is you're looking for," Almond said flatly. "But you knew that."
Phantom Bleu hummed softly, an uneasy edge to the tone. "I had hoped you might not be so bright as to ask, but I see now that that hope was merely an insult to your intelligence. Perhaps, another trade. Information for information, and if you find it agreeable, my information on the smugglers for your assistance."
They moved once more, but did not turn away from him. Instead, they moved to stand in front of him, stepping towards him and forcing him back. They leaned over him, and he leaned back against his desk, firm expression never wavering despite just how close the thief's face had gotten to his own, despite the heat he could feel begging to blush into his cheeks.
"Does that sound agreeable to you, Commissioner?" Phantom Bleu spoke, their voice soft as velvet, whisper brushing against his ears like feathers. Stiffly, Almond gave a nod, and the thief smiled. "Wonderful."
They leaned out of his space and slipped behind his desk, and Almond gave himself a moment to calm his racing heart.
"As for your question…" Phantom Bleu spoke, and Almond turned around to the sight of them sitting in his desk chair. "My, but this chair is comfortable. I suppose it has to be, with how often you stay late."
"Phantom Bleu."
"Ah, right, my apologies," they answered, not sounding very sorry at all. They leaned back in Almond's chair, eyes closing with an air of ease that seemed far too practiced to be natural. "What I seek from these cookies… is an heirloom."
Almond stilled. The implications of such an item would be connected to Phantom Bleu's true identity. Though the cookie freely showed their face, nobody knew their name or where they came from. It was one of the biggest mysteries Almond had ever personally tackled, and the only one thus far to elude him.
"A family heirloom of immeasurable value, to be quite precise," the thief continued, perhaps all too aware of Almond's train of thought. "I have been attempting to track it down since the moment I became Phantom Bleu."
"Is that why you became Phantom Bleu?" he asked, placing his hands on his own desk and leaning on it from the wrong side. The thief in his chair looked up at him, their gaze flicking down, and then up again.
"I believe that that's one too many questions I offered to exchange information for, my dear Commissioner," they said, the slightest upward quirk to their mouth. "You have yet to answer a question from me."
"Fine." Almond didn't move from where he leaned on the desk. "State your question."
"It's been bugging me, really," the thief said, leaning back in the chair once more and pulling their leg up to rest their ankle across their knee. "Why did you expect me to be at the Parfaedia Art Museum?"
Almond sighed in relief. Of all questions to ask, he couldn't believe they'd chosen the most harmless question ever. "We had received an anonymous tip claiming that you would be there."
"And you believed it?" Phantom Bleu's voice had gone incredulous, a slight laugh in their voice. "My darling Commissioner, I thought you knew me better than that. I do not take what doesn't already belong to me."
Almond rolled his eyes, raising a brow at them, but they didn't elaborate.
"So, Commissioner Almond," Phantom Bleu said, and the way his name rolled off their tongue sent a tingling shiver up his spine, "do you find my answer to your question satisfactory?"
He gave a long sigh, lifting a hand to pull down his face. The thief had played their cards well, he had to admit. It was likely that they would continue to do so until the very last second, dropping only the necessary information as it was needed. Almond knew how they worked, and he knew this would result in them slipping away into the night, victorious once more in their endeavors.
"Fine. Phantom Bleu, you have yourself a deal."
The thief perked up, a charming smile on their face. Almond merely pointed a thumb over his shoulder, in the direction of the window they'd come in through.
"Now get the hell out of my office. It's abysmally late and I've got work to finish up."
Phantom Bleu laughed, and he ignored the odd little fluttering in his chest. They stood from the chair, taking a moment to fix their cape and clothes as they came around his desk to stand before him.
"So cold," they teased, fixing where their monocle sat on their face, something that might be called a grin on their face. "I expect I'll be seeing you soon enough, though. Until we meet again, Commissioner Almond."
Phantom Bleu bowed to him, and he ignored the rush of heat through his chest. He watched them move through the room, pulling themself out of the window with an almost ethereal grace. At least when they left, they closed the window after themself.
Almond took a seat at his desk once more, the entire encounter running through his mind as he tried to focus on his work again. Their face so close to his, their velvet soft voice, the way they bowed to him, he put it all out of his mind and looked down at the document he'd been working through. They'd left a tiny note in the margin, having apparently gone through the document for themself and pointing out just what exactly was wrong with it. To his dismayed frustration, they were right.
When the hell had they gone through the whole document and gotten time to write on it? He could only recall a few seconds in which his eyes had been taken off of them. Not only had they gone through the document, but analyzed it to such a degree they could tell exactly what was wrong with it in seconds, all the while holding a complex conversation with Almond.
Almond pulled a hand down his face and leaned on his desk, ignoring the rushing heartbeat in his ears. The answer to the question of who exactly Phantom Bleu was had evaded him for as long as he'd been working as a detective, and this felt like a taunt. Or maybe it was a tease.
'Which do you prefer?'
He needed a cup of coffee.

HONESTY HOUR!!!!!!!! (or hours, if you're me ;;;;;;)
since i have no personal 'caught in the rain' moments to talk about im gonna turn the question on you!!!! any particular memorable ones you feel like sharing??
also i've been trying to think about something juicy to ask but the only thing my mind could came up with is to talk about BL actors you have a crush on, if there are any!!!!
hours indeed, I'm two days late 😂💓 and I'm figuring things out as I go so it's a yapping session with gifs, enjoy 😙
i do have a few but one that always sticks out to me was one summer (or was it late spring?) my best friend and i were doing some shopping at the city centre and this rain started pouring, ive never felt anything like it. we had no umbrellas, we were carrying stuff and we walked (maybe kinda ran too lol) a great distance to the subway station; drenched rat doesn't begin to cover it, the rain curtain was thick, it was coming down fast and it seemed like it'd never stop.. I don't think I have any photos or videos from that day, i don't remember it all too well and her and I don't talk anymore but i think I remember it accurately enough. i loved it. it's happened a lot and I still don't carry an umbrella, some lessons are harder to learn
crushes..hahah see, so many years as a young woman and a girl, a romantic and a romcom truther and yet I don't really know the definition of a crush. when it comes to celebrities, I actively avoid feeling like that for them? nothing bad about celebrity crushes but you can blame it on my ocd symptoms [too much to explain]; i do fangirl about them and jokingly think up scenarios (I used to be a y/n fic reader lmao and im loud and proud about it!!) but it's just innocent stuff
I'd say the bl actors i have somewhat of a crush on (by how I understand it) are pond and joong; i find a lot of guys attractive but I don't know much about them like sea, boun or tay
ohhh anderson cheng who plays mark in love is science? is smth else for me
Tumblr media
but it could be the character okay, i don't know anderson like that except for a few lives with lin yu😂
I had somewhat of a crush on yibo too but he done fucked up recently so.
OH JIWOONG
DUH
jiwoong is a mystery to me and im just happy when he's happy
Tumblr media
also seoham and jaechan in different ways lol
Tumblr media
kim sunghyun exuded so much charm as jinwoo I couldn't not fall for him a bit
Tumblr media
^like maybe that should be me. js.
yu is stunning any time I see him
Tumblr media
he had me crazy about zhou shu yi, soo handsome when he's angry and even more when in love (seeing a man cry whether in character or not bonds you to him idk what to say)
now for the jbls... it's gonna take a bit
meguro ren had me in a chokehold for a while
Tumblr media
so did yagi yusei
Tumblr media
sato yusuke had me all glued to the screen as well
Tumblr media
obviously kimura tatsunari
Tumblr media
(happy second anniversary ofc!)
inaba yuuuu
Tumblr media
yamanaka jyutaro (I've now hit the ten image limit so that's the blond photographer dude from ameiro paradox); suzuki kousuke (jack o'frost and takara kun to amagi kun); nomura kota (perfect propose) but!
the ones I actually know more about are kouhei and acchan since I used to tune in for their insta lives and kouhei is just so 🥰🥰🥰 that's segasaki from taikan yoho
and currently losing it a bit with the mains of 25 ji akasaka de, niihara taisuke and komagine kiita
I think the reason I just go for "dudes I don't know outside of their role but are handsome af" for japanese bls and "I need to know him better" for thai bls is because of how much content there is of the actors interacting with their on screen partners. plus it's much less likely I see stuff about japanese actors on my dash whereas random interviews and show bits come up constantly with not only gmm dudes but guys from other companies as well. it feels like I get to know about thai actors without putting that much effort in but with those from other countries I'd have to go out of my way so it'd be harder to list someone close to the definition of a crush, you know.
I am very tired so this is a mess, most of this doesn't even need to be written down but I hope you get to read it as a relaxing nonsense list the way it's intended haha

Kind of regretting delving into Legend Of Dugu suddenly. By episode 16, 17, and 18 it's kind of dragging bcs of that stupid shitty nasty emperor. Die you mean spirited person. Now I get why it was rated 7.9 on MyDramaList.
On ep 20: Just want to say what a fkg mess!! Ofc Yuwen Yu became hot tempered when he ascended the throne when Yuwen Hu treated him like that in the first day.
Ep23: I don't like to see how the children of the concubines bad to watch their mothers being punished. I guess it was the hierarchy. I also don't like the superficial relationship mantuo had to maintain with those children under her care. It just so unjustly. How her room can be seen from the outside, ewww. Finally I got to see the scenes that made me watch this drama, it was when banruo discovered her daughter had one blue eye.
Ep24: watching this drama is like reading bad manga. What was the use of you losing your cool in front of your servants and told them all of your plans?? It was obvious that Yuwen Yu was weak in front of Yuwen Hu. One was a feeble man and the other man was a cruel man. Yuwen Hu only cared about banruo, other than that he didn't really care about other ppl.
Ep25: don't blame yuwen Hu at all for being mad that his son got killed just bcs yuwen yu was insecure and wanted to kill him. I want to slap Yuwen Yu face so bad. The gall of him to smile after his disastrous plan but myb Kang Yuchi did divert from the original plan??
Ep27: OK dominant jialuo. We stan! Well banruo you should put the blame on Yuwen Yu too. If he didn't plot to kill Yuwen Hu, this wldn't happen.
Ep28: Although I'm annoyed by banruo mentioning Yuwen Hu, I do think her suggestion to make him gives up the military power makes sense. He was crazy and shld not hv that kind of power. But she shld stop at that. Yuwen Hu was valid to be mad that Yuwen Yu's plot had sacrificed his son. And the blame also shld be pointed toward Yuwen Yu for his false confidence and his shitty plan. Ptooih! good that Jialuo and YWY tried to dissuade banruo but yeah she had a rock head. Let's take a break, just want to remind that Yg Jian definitely had a soft spot for Jialuo until Mantuo framed her. Sksksks the way YWY parted and carried his crown curtains beads when banruo appeared was so funny. So cringe to watch the flashback of Yg Jian swearing that he wld wait for mantuo... Can't wait for him to know the truth and see what a snake she is.
Ep29 - I support what Yg Jian's personal servant said skskskskks mantuo at least has a husband who loved her so poor Jialuo to get this treatment from Yg Jian. Exactly! He thought both of them had chemistry just like what I said before. OK I know his name now, Zheng Rong. That soft look on YJ face... He did like her a bit. And bonus that she was pretty too. Skskskkskskw Zheng Rong I am now you fan. You were amazing giving yang jian a piece of your mind 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽. Mantuo was such a bitch that I hate to watch her parts, it's different if she was a good person. Before Officer Wang came to guide her, she was so immature with the tantrums, being coy that it was such annoying sight to see and now she just upgraded to be even more skilled two-faced btch. Ughh
Ep30 - I want to say poor geshu that his plans always foiled by his own master love to banruo but he can stuff it! so cruel to do that to pregnant woman. Idk he always cruel. I begin don't like this Officer Wang anymore. Sinister of her to involve children in this. Jialuo look so cool slicing that uhh sitar(?) with her sword. Zheng Rong! Zheng Rong! *chanting*
Ep31: tbh when I watched the blood paternity test idk whether it was true or it was something mantuo plot to make jinniang lost the Duke's trust. I KNEW IT!!! THAT VICIOUS BTCH. I don't mind if she just targeted jinniang but she also targeted innocent child in this... Wtf. Poor that boy. Prince Fucheng shld move on and just wish for Jialuo happiness coz why did he try to wreck her relationship with Yang Jian?? He was so annoying.
Ep32: Good that Yg Jian took initiative to apologise to Jialuo but I wonder why Jialuo didn't explain to him what happened with the dress that he gifted her?? Prince Fucheng was such a loser. Why Jialuo?? You know it is sensitive matter when it came to Prince Fucheng... You didn't even try to save your husband's face. Jialuo was in the fault this time.

May I put in a request for a moon knight where the reader is a rival moon/night/something like that, from idk what pantheon, that is rencarnated and finds out that Marc and Steven are the avatar of Khonshu (enemy to lovers/friends idk)?
I researched into this the Goddess recently and fell in love- hope its okay, just a silly little idea I have had in my head lately.
Inanna[a] is an ancient Mesopotamian goddess associated with love, beauty, sex, war, justice, and political power. She was originally worshiped in Sumer under the name "Inanna", and later by the Akkadians, Babylonians, and Assyrians under the name "Ishtar".[b] She was known as the "Queen of Heaven" and was the patron goddess of the Eanna temple at the city of Uruk, which was her main cult center. She was associated with the planet Venus and her most prominent symbols included the lion and the eight-pointed star.

Ishtar and the Moon Knight Part One
Possible to a part two if people are interested ❤️
Blood poured from the wound on Marc's side, his almost neon white ceremonial suit now stained a pink from the gash across his side. The last lance through him had proven more damaging than he anticipated, ripping his suit almost in half, which meant that healing was somewhat problematic. He had no idea how the sceptre of Ra had been allowed to be stolen, and why it was up to him to retrieve it was anyone's guess.
‘Fuck, we are gonna die wearing a Halloween costume.’ Panic rattled through Steven’s voice as  Marc slid down the wall while trying to apply pressure to the gaping wound.
‘We are not going to die, Steven. Just let me think….’ Marc winched as he poured through the first aid box, straining to stand upright. ‘Khonsu…a little help.’
‘The suit is so badly damaged it cannot heal you.’ The stoic voice called out from the corner of the room, hunched over to fit under the low ceiling.
‘Oh bloody hell…we need to call an ambulance.’ Steve stuttered, pacing in the reflection of the tv, glancing as his body drained of colour.
‘No ambulance, the gang…will be…’ sagged against the table, slumped in a semi-conscious puddle on the floor. ‘Khonsu…’
‘There maybe someone who can help….if they listen.’ And with that, the god disappeared in a swirl o dust and sand.
Xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
You peered down at the crumpled body as the skin slowly knitted together with only a passing grunt of pain.
‘I thank you, Ishtar; Ra will be pleased to recover his property.’ Khonsu's loud booming voice carried over the large room.
‘Theirs the same Khonsu, I remembered. Uncaring and unfeeling, I’m surprised you cared enough to repair this one, not just move on to the next.’ You spat, pulling the covers over the man.
‘I am surprised that you even remember my dear little Ishtar; it was so many reincarnations ago.’ Khonsu mocked.
‘I haven’t been your dear little Ishtar in almost 2000 years; there is nothing but me here’, You spat towards the grim-looking beast in front of you.
‘You’re rather a pale imitation.’ Khonsu snapped, disappearing before her eyes.
‘Oh, no wonder she hated you, you big beaked creep. Disappearing and leaving me with a broken avatar.’
Xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
It took three days for Steven/Marc to wake up, three days of Khonsu haunting you like some evil Casper. Which at least meant you had a chance to do a little research. Hathor’s avatar was particularly helpful. Your contact with the American government meant that you had a very unflattering picture of Ishtar’s former lover interested; it made you more thankful you could remember some grizzly details.
Steven found himself in the battered body on a soft, crisp bed when they woke again. Instead of the fermented white paint and mouldy curtains of his dirty motel room, he was greeted by a rather opulent bedroom of soft pastels and billowing material that danced in the pleasant breeze.
‘Careful worm, you are among friends, for now…. Mind your tongue with Ishtar.’ Khonsu appeared crouching at the foot of the bed, settling himself up comfortable against the cushions. ‘Ra is waiting for his sceptre; we must meet him at the pyramid…give Marc back the body. We have no time to….’
You rolled your eyes as you slid into the room, perching yourself on the slide of his bed. He looked better; the colour had returned to his bronzed skin, and the skin had neatly forged back together, leaving only a soft silver scar. Some of your best work, not bad for a former goddess of war.
‘Oh, you’re awake, and you’re here. Hello Marc, or is it Steven?’ you smiled, brushing his curls from his eyes.
‘Wait, you can see him?’ Steven grunted as he sat up too quickly.
‘Of course, I can, and your little alter too, hello sexy.’ You grinned, waving into the reflection in the mirror. You didn’t know who was more handsome, the puppy dog eyes of Steve or the smouldering eyes of Marc.
‘Careful of this one…she is dangerous. Not to be trusted.’ The god hissed.
‘But when you and your avatar are in trouble, I am a trusted ally. Oh, shut up; I allow you to come into this temple as a sanctuary.’ You snapped as, almost on cue, a scanty clade woman dragged another two men along the corridor as the sounds of ecstasy vibrated through the walls.
‘You call this flesh pot a temple. This is a den of sin.’ The prime crisp words cut through the air.
‘Am I in a brothel.? Oh, my days, I’m in a brothel. Marc, I am in a brothel; get me out of here.’ The shrill British accent cried across the air as you glared at the creature looming over you.
‘Calm down. Just like my Greek counterpart, Ishtar was the patron goddess of prostitutes. It’s a perfect place to hide. Plus, it’s not a brothel. It's more of a …. Have you seen Love Island? It is more of a free for all.’ You glared across at the god, soothing your hands over the mans twitching shoulders.
‘Marc controls the worm.’ The spirit roared, slamming his rod on the floor.
‘That’s it; you need to go.’ You snapped with a wave of your hand; the figure departed with an angst scream.
‘That is so much better. No wonder Ishtar hated him, such an arrogant arse.’ You growled.
‘Is he like dead?’Steve Panicked voice caught your attention; he looked so adorable in his frantic state, a wild mass of curls and shape cheekbones
‘No, I don’t have that power anymore. I am more of an echo. But that doesn’t matter really, not right now. I have a proposition. How would you like to get one over on Big Bird?’ You purred with a devilish smirk

A Ryoba x Togo fanfic from Yandere Simulator's recent 1980s mode, an au where Ryoba fails in getting her Senpai and meets the very student that once helped her during the weeks of removing her rivals.
Fluff?? Not sure
might have bad grammar idk tho
I might have made Ryoba's part longer
---------------------------------------------
Togo's POV:
Bringg, bringg- thump!
"Eughh.." I groaned out while that stupid thing was still blaring with my alarm. Looking at the digital clock, it was only 7 in the morning. Are you saying I woke up for nothing? My head ached with stress and irritation from the loud noise from the clock as it still rang in my ears. Goddamit. To add to my already annoying headache, I heard two trucks slowly backing into the side of the road, at least that's what I'm hearing.
Getting out of bed, I harshly pulled open the window and its curtains, I push my head out ready to give an earful to whoever was causing so much noise when "she" appeared in my sight. Before I knew it, my heart was already pounding quickly in my chest and the headache from earlier was already gone.
Am I seeing things? Am I still dreaming?? Questions like those filled my mind with heat rushing to my cheeks— god it hurts so much.
While I was thinking of those things and doing fangirl or whatever activities they do, the raven-haired girl suddenly looked at me.
Shitshitshitshitshit, she saw me, didn't she!?! Oh god, what do I do!? What if she thinks I'm a creep or a pervert!- wait, does she even remember me??
Were my thoughts after I immediately crouched just to hide from her sight and then suddenly, a voice broke me out of my crisis.
"Ah! Put that down over there and be careful, please!" Her voice sounded worried yet still had that cheerful tone from when we were still in school. I slowly looked over my window and sneaked a peek.
Ryoba Aishi.
A kind and smart girl in Akademi High and was also well-liked by the teacher yet she approached me with kindness despite my tough act and bad reputation. Even when I threatened her, she stood bravely and asked if she could help me.
I never thought of interacting with her. Afterall, she was a natural beauty and had done good deeds unlike me, who was a delinquent and had an older brother that was part of the Yakuza. She was way beyond leagues.
But imagine my surprise when she approached me out of nowhere and said she was willing to help me. For context, I was in some deep shit with some gang in the town and she offered to help me by beating up those guys.
At first, I thought she was just some weak goody-two-shoes but what I saw that day made me see her in a different light. She was a good fighter, much better than those cowards who used weapons to fight while she fought only with her bare hands. Who would have thought the third-year's beauty and brains was a fighter strong enough to beat 5 dudes taller than her and has weapons?
And that was how I slowly fell for her. I was a coward back then for not dealing with them and for not confessing to her or at least show some emotion other than being tough in front of her.
Graduation passed and I never saw her again. I swore to myself that I'd be a new man by the time we meet again. I quit my delinquency, started studying properly and got into a good college that provided great help to my plan on having a perfectly normal but genuine life. I told my brother he won't need to worry about me being in his crime-filled life ever again. I moved out of the house and got my own place, right next to a beautiful park that I was sure she would love. It also had a cute cherry blossom tree, almost as big as the one from behind the school. (I mean, didn't she believe in the myth?.. I'm sure she would love it.)
But now, years after, I saw her again. And she's my neighbor! Which means I can man up and ask her out!
This time, I'll be brave and show her my true self. And if she were to run away?.. well.. I might have to resort to.. extreme actions.
---------------------------------------------
"Ryoba, is something wrong? You look like something's bothering you.. Talk to me?" Togo stopped our walk and made us stand in the side, standing in front of me with his eyes staring at my own.
I stared back and donned a thinking look, watching as he squirmed under my gaze. How cute. He's so different from when he was still a delinquent, acting tough and rough. Now, he's grown into a young man with good looks and a smart brain. Although there were still some of his scars from school here and there.
Actually, I've always known he had some form of affection towards me. In the past, I paid no heed to him for I spent all my time admiring my beloved and getting rid of those pesky girls.
But I failed on getting rid of one girl and my beloved fell for her and they got together. I could only watch them being happy. Then I realized something..
I didn't actually need his love.
I didn't get any emotions such as jealousy or anger from the turn of events. I even felt.. disinterested. Which brought great shock to me, of course. How could an Aishi suddenly lose interest in their beloved? What would Mother think? She'd be disappointed. Afterall, she told me that an Aishi has their fated partner for eternity and when I find them, I must do anything to get them into my arms..
But.. how could I when I didn't have someone like that?
However, something unexpected happened. My dreams that always showcased me and Senpai, was different. The man beside me was someone completely different yet familiar and comfortable. And I knew who it was.
Everywhere I go in school, I find myself looking for this boy. Even when I was doing some chore for a teacher or a fellow student. And everytime I find him looking back at me, I could feel something in my heart. It was warm and soothing, much different from what I felt from my beloved.
This new emotion then became my greatest fear. It was unpredictable. For my "beloved", I only felt obsessed and mad for him but with Togo, I felt like I could tell him everything I've been keeping secret deep into my heart and expect genuine feelings back. That is why I was scared. After all, I only saw my beloved as an object created perfectly for me, having no opinions. I saw Togo as a person that can love and hate things.
I feared that someday this emotion would grow stronger and I would eventually hurt Togo and it would pain me greatly. So I ran.
I avoided him with everything I've got. Changed my routes so I couldn't bump into him. Insisting to myself I did not hold feelings for this boy. Even did some evil things as to make sure he doesn't see one hairstrand from me.
But.. no matter how hard I tried, I have always kept the urge to see him and confess my love for him deep down. And when we graduated, I moved as soon as I could! Far away so I will eventually forget these feelings and let Togo have a normal life without me.
And so the years passed and I buried myself into work. Day in and day out, work and work.. Yet his small smile never left my mind.
I decided to move back to my hometown. I didn't have a particular reason to, just felt like it and the tall buildings and gross men in my workplace was getting too much.
Imagine my surprise when I found out Togo was my neighbor! The mixed emotions I felt, the memories from before came flooding back to me. The walls I so wanted to keep Togo out crumbled in an instant.
I didn't care anymore if I would someday hurt him. I didn't care if he would someday leave me. My feelings are genuine and have been sealed away for too long and I can't just shove them down again when I have the chance to have a relationship with Togo again.
This time, I won't run away. I'll stand my ground and show him my true self whilst cherishing and treasuring him.

wanna be yours ; andy barber
just a small drable.
warnings: slight smut, angst, mentions of cheating, age gap!
pairings: andy barber x reader
_________________
fingers tangled together, as he laid next to you, his free arm stroking your hair, as you listened to his heartbeat, which sounded normal. You two loved each other.
Love can be in any form. Love is never easy, and you both were suffering through it. Every night, he'd be next to you, his scent would be enough for you to calm down.
Things weren't easy as they looked. You were younger than him, having a 22 year old difference between the two, will always be questioned everywhere.
So the best you two could do was hide it, putting a curtain on your relationship with him. You knew how worse it would be later, but none of you cared about it.
Right now, you two were bare, only covered with the white, silk sheets, his lips on your head, as he pressed gentle kisses on your head, as you walked on the road of complicity of yours and his relationship again.
“What're you thinking, my love?” He asked, his voice, calm and raspy. You sighed, and looked up to meet his eyes, he smiled, getting the idea of what was inside your head
“nothing, my love.” You answered, knowing that he knew what you were thinking. He was a man, with a dark life. Wife never loved him, son never cared about him even though he would lay his life for them.
So, when both of you were covered with this much of darkness, the bridge seems to be the light that brightened both of your lives. It was destined that you'd end up like this.
He was in the spot, where he had two roads, one was losing you, and he'd have everything. The other was losing everything and have you. He was losing his everything on both the roads.
He pressed a kiss on your lips, his one hand, cupping your face, and pulling you closer. You melted in that kiss. Your arms wrapped around his neck, to pull him closer.
His other hand, tangled with yours, as he showed you how much he loved you, how much you mean to him. You chanted his name, which he was addicted to. Your lips addicting him, he never left them. This will be the last time, you both knew, but acted like it wasn't.
“just wanna be yours.” He breathes, resting his forehead on yours, as tears ran out and fell on his cheeks, falling on your cheek. Seeing him like that, you too were emotional.
He kissed you again, tears still falling and he looks at you, as you try your hardest to he strong.
“I am yours.” You said, and he smiles, before he kisses you again, and leaves you forever, going back to his so-called happy family, of three including him, A broken- husband / father, a Son who was depressed, and a wife and a mother who was playing games on their family.

Mr. & Mrs. Holland- (Mob! Tom Holland x Mob! Reader) part 1
summary: most powerful couple in the country but it’s not Tom you should be fearing.
w/c: 3,033
warning: fluff, kissing, angst? idk, y/n being a badass (yes... that should be a warning)
a/n: the prologue got the greatest feedback, thank you to everyone who read it. i’m so so thankful. since it did so good, here’s part 1!! happy reading everyone 🦋
Tumblr media
The sun shined through the curtains, warming up the naked bodies that were tangled in the satin sheets. Tom’s eyes fluttered open, immediately turning his bed to see his wife laying on his chest. He smiled and pushed back a piece of hair that was hanging in front of her face. Waking up next to Y/n was his favorite feeling because to him, she was the most beautiful person he had ever seen in his life. He moved a bit to get out of bed making her stir. Her eyes opened softly to look at him and smile.
“Morning, love.” he said softly leaning in and giving her a peck.
“Good morning, honey.” she chuckled and bit her lip while smiling widely. Tom stood up from the bed, his butt bare making Y/n giggle. He turned around with a questionable look while she layed back down on her pillow.
“You have a nice butt.” she giggled making him roll his eyes and make his way towards their walk in closet.
“Where are you going?” she groaned, sitting up in bed with her back against the headboard.
“I have a meeting with the boys. Haz told me some things have been going missing on the ports.”
“What things?” she asked with furrowed eyebrows.
“That supply we were gonna send to Columbia last week.” He walked out butting up his shirt, then moving to his sleeves rolling them up.
“But… Tom, that was the biggest supply this month.. we were gonna get a fortune.” Y/n said sitting up straighter.
“Love, I know that. That’s why I need to find out what’s going on and who did this. I’m gonna be with the boys most of the day. I’ll see later.” Tom leaned down, gave his wife a long kiss and stepped out of the bedroom without uttering another word. Y/n started thinking about a possible plan that would help her husband and the whole company. She quickly got out of bed and went into the shower where her thoughts sort of became clearer. With a towel wrapped around her body she walked into her side of the closet.
“What the hell am i gonna wear?” she asked herself with her arms crossed over her chest. She scanned her color coded closet and finally chose a short black Prada dress. It was tight around her curves and it had a small slight on the side to show part of her thigh. Y/n put her hair up to show off her collarbone and the diamond earrings Tom had just bought her. She put on her favorite pair of heels and made her way towards the meeting room. Her heels clacked on the marble floors as she strutted to the testosterone filled room.
She pulled open the dark brown doors making every pair of eyes land on her. Of course, Y/n smirked and began to make her way to her husband, who was sitting at the end of the table with a whiskey in hand and his fingers rubbing his chin deep in thought. When she was half way there, she turned to the bartender.
“Martin? I'll have my usual.”
“Dry martini with two olives. Got it, boss.” he nodded and turned to start off her drink while she smiled, turning back to look at Tom. Finally, she stood next to him, making him look up at her. Tom looked back down and stared slowly at her thighs, her hips, the day the dress got extra tight at her waist, her breast that were shaped perfectly to him, her collarbone that he desired to kiss and bite at that very moment and last, but certainly not the least, her beautiful face that made him melt every single time he looked at it.
“Darling, what are you doing here?” He asked, smirking at his wife who was smiling widely.
“I thought I could give you some ideas, help you out a bit. What do you guys have so far? That’s if you do want my help, of course.” she said as she crossed her arms quickly looking to her right to see Martin with her drink in hand.
“Thanks, Martin.” she muttered and took a sip while looking back at Tom.
“I would love to hear what you have in mind. You know I always need your help, darling.” he smiled putting his hand on her thigh and moving it up and down making Y/n get goose bumps all over her body.
“I need to know what you guys have first.” she smirked and drank another sip from her strong beverage. Tom looked at her and chuckled, sitting straight.
“Okay, boys… let’s tell Mrs. Holland what we have, now.” he said, strongly making Y/n feel an undeniable tingly feeling on her covered core. The next 30 minutes were spent discussing the problems and the suspects. Of course, Harrison believed it was someone from the inside spilling out details on the supply’s destination. The only thing they seem to have left is a good hideout place to keep look out. Harrison brought over some files of properties close by to Y/n. She put her glass down and sat on the armrest of Tom’s chair making him put his hand on her hip.
“You’re planning on buying this?” she asked with a questionable look with her head turned to her husband.
“Yes, why? Do you not like it?”
“Is not that i don’t like it.. is that…. they’ll find you before you move in. You have to be somewhere that no one's gonna expect you to be in.” Y/n said while looking at the different properties in front of her. She took the last sip from her martini and stood up, still looking at the papers. She walked around the table in silence, every single man following her with their eyes.
“I hate this. This… this is… what the fuck are you thinking?” she exclaimed turning around to look at Tom who was looking at her with a straight face, waiting for her to explain herself.
“You wanna spy on someone who’s probably stealing your shit and you wanna buy a 3 million dollar mansion to do it?” she scoffed and shook her head in disbelief as her husband stood up from his chair and slowly started walking towards Y/n.
“You have to get a place that no one’s gonna expect. Get an abandoned apartment or something. Somewhere dirty and ugly.” Tom finally stood in front of her and grabbed her waist, pulling her towards him.
“I love the way you think, darling. I like your idea.” he whispered and leaned in to give her a peck.
“Of course you do, it’s the right one.” she said smiling which caused him to chuckle.
“We’ll go with that. Harrison, get everything ready.”
“If you want something done right, let a woman do it.” she said and grabbed his face to give him a quick kiss. She pulled away and started walking towards the door.
“I have to go, check on my employees. I’ll call you later, honey.” and with that she left the room leaving every man speechless. Y/n walked to the living room where her driver was playing cards with the maids of the house.
“Dylan, bring the car around.”
“Yes, ma’am.” she quickly turned around and walked back to her room to get her purse and of course, her small golden gun. She walked outside towards the car where Dylan was holding the door open.
“Where to, ma’am?” he asked before Y/n got into the car.
“You know that apartment building close to Le Royal?”
“Yes.”
“I need to go there, William is waiting for me.” the man nodded and she got into the car. The ride was silent but she was mostly talking to herself in her head. Thinking of what to say and what to do when she got there. The car came to a stop making her jolt out of her trance. The door opened showing Dylan with a small smile.
“We’re here, ma’am.” he extended his hand to help Y/n out of the car.
“Thanks, Dylan. Stay close, please.”
“Sure thing, ma’am. Good luck in there.” he said, closing the car door.
“Thank you.” she smiled putting on her Dior sunglasses and walking towards the door.  Y/n walked inside and got to the elevator, going to the last floor. When the doors opened her right hand man, William was waiting for her with a bloody fist.
“Thanks for the help, William.”
“Anytime, ma’am.” he nodded and she made her way to the long hallway that led to a wooden door. She opened the door and was met with a man tied to a chair and another chair in front of him.
“I’m so sorry for the delay but i’m sure my right hand man kept you company. He’s a great conversation starter. I'm sure you guys had fun.” Y/n smiled sitting down on the chair and crossing her legs. The man lifted his head with his sweaty hair falling on his face and the blood coming from his lip, dripping down his chin.
“Yeah, fun.”
“Do you know who i am, John?”
“Yeah.” he scoffed.
“Okay, do you know what i’m gonna do to you?” the room filled with silence and Y/n chuckled at his nervousness.
“Of course you don’t. I’ll tell you anyway though.” she said, uncrossing her legs and standing up. Finally in front of the man, she placed her hands on the armrest of the chair leaning in front of him.
“You mess with my husband, you mess with me and our company. You're not gonna get out of this so easily.” she whispered in a low serious voice making the man’s breath shaky.
“I’m gonna bash your skull with a metal bat until it has a hole in it. You got that?” the man stayed quiet, scared for his life. Y/n stood back up and smiled.
“I’ll see you later, Johnny.” she said as she walked out of the room leaving the man screaming out her name over and over again. She walked down the familiar hallway again, getting into the elevator with William.
“Let’s go, Will.” the elevator door closed, it started moving and then it opened at the 1st floor. Y/n walked out first and then William behind, Dylan was already holding the door open which caused her to smile.
“Thank you, boys.” she said as she climbed into the back seat. When the door closed her phone ran, it was Tom.
“Hey, baby.”
“Hello, love. How’s everything going?”
“Everything went smoothly. How bout you? Is the plan in motion?”
“It is. Everything is being handled as we speak.”
“Great! I have to meet up with some business partners I wanna negotiate with so i’ll get you when i get out okay?”
“Alright, love. We’ll talk later. I love you.”
“I love you too, honey.” she smiled and then hung up as the car came to a stop in front of Le Royal. It was a very famous hotel that had it’s very own casino with the same name. Dylan helped her out of the car and she made her way to the entrance with William right behind her. Her heels clacked on the marble floors of the hotel lobby. Everyone stared at her in awe, only people in the business knew who she really was and what she did. They walked to the casino side of the lobby and went up a long glass staircase. It led them to big white doors that led to a small waiting room with the secretary typing quickly on her computer. Y/n walked towards her and stood in front of the counter, making the woman look up from her device.
“May i help you?” she asked in a bitchy tone which made Y/n go serious and angry.
“Yes, I have a meeting with Mr. Matthews.” she said coldly, giving the woman a killing look.
“Go ahead.”
“Thanks.” she spit out, turning and walking towards the office. Once at the door, she knocked and waited for the man to give her mention to enter.
“Come in!” screamed the man from inside alerting William to open to the door and letting Y/N walk in first.
“Y/n Holland, welcome! It’s a pleasure to finally meet you.” the man smiled as he shook her hand and introduced himself to William after.
“It’s nice to meet you, Adam. Thank you so much for agreeing to speak with me. I’ve heard nothing but good things about your business.” she said as she sat down in front of his desk and crossed her legs.
“Same goes to you. You and your husband have left a really big impression on all of us.”
“Oh, well thank you.” she chuckled as he leaned on his elbows on his desk.
“So, what kind of business are we talking about?”
“Oh well. I came here to offer you a deal.”
“What kind of deal exactly?” he asked leaning back on his chair and crossing his legs.
“I wanna buy the hotel.” she said seriously, making him laugh dryly and shake his head.
“I’m not selling, Y/n.”
“You didn’t let me finish.” he stopped laughing and moved his hand signaling her to continue.
“I wanna buy so you can be in charge of everything while I'm gone. You’d report back to me or Tom. You’d get 25% of all income.” the room fell silent, Adam kept thinking about every single scenario of what would happen if he accepted.
“What would I be doing, Y/n?”
“We wanna use the casino for every exchange and to sell our little things that everyone seems to love. I assure you, Adam, you’re gonna get triple the clientele if they know what you’re gonna have.” he looked at her and scratched his eyebrow, standing up without another word. He made his way towards the glass windows, looking at the city below. Y/n played with her fingers, feeling nervous that maybe he didn’t want to go through with the deal. Even William knew she was nervous. After a few seconds, Adam turned around with his hands in his pockets, looked up and smiled.
“You have yourself a deal Mrs. Holland.” he said, extending his hand for her to shake. She stood up quickly and grabbed it, shaking it.
“Thank you so much, Adam. You won’t regret this.”
“It was a pleasure doing business with you, Y/n. Call me anytime to schedule the first special casino night.” he said putting his other hand over hers.
“Of course. I’ll call you tonight with my husband to schedule everything. Have a nice day, Mr. Matthews.” she smiled taking her hands out of his grasp and walking towards the door that William opened for her to walk out. They made their way downstairs to the lobby when Y/n came to an immediate stop.
“Is everything alright, ma’am?” William asked, standing in front of her.
“I don’t know if you know but I kind of have a sixth sense, Will. I don’t trust that man.” she said rummaging through her purse.
“What are you gonna do?”
“I need you to go to the main office of this building and plug this in into one of the computers.” Y/n whispered holding up a small pendrive.
“While you’re doing that i’ll be having a couple drinks at the bar, just looking around. Checking what I have to work with.” she said looking around.
“I can’t do that, ma’am. Mr. Holland gave me direct orders to not leave your side.”
“Well he’s not here right now, William. I won’t rat you out okay? But please, get me that information.” she said turning to him while taking off her glasses and giving him pleading eyes. He sighed and nodded making Y/n squeal.
“Thank you, thank you. I’ll be in the bar, find me when you’re done okay?”
“Alright.” he said and turned walking towards the back doors of the lobby.
30 minutes went by when William finally walked out. He turned the corner and saw his boss drinking her martini while looking at the ceiling, the walls, the employees, the bar countertop and the alcohol bottle in front of her. Every detail was important for her, to think of different ways to work with that place.
“Mrs. Holland.” William said breaking Y/n’s trance. She looked at him and smiled as he held up the pendrive she had given him.
“Is it there?” she asked, getting down from the bar stool.
“Every last bit, ma’am.” he said, giving it to her. She chuckled and patted him on the chest.
“Good job, Will. Let’s go home.” Y/n said and walked towards the exit of the hotel where Dylan was already waiting in the car.
When they arrived at the mansion, Y/n walked straight to her bedroom where Tom was taking a shower. She took off her heels so he wouldn’t hear her walk in, unzipped her dress and tied her hair up, slowly making her way to the bathroom. The shower door was foggy but she could still see her husband’s silhouette. Y/n pushed it open and stepped in quickly. She placed her hand on his back making him jump and quickly turn around.
“Sorry to scare you.” she whispered, making him sigh in relief.
“It’s alright, darling.” he said as he grabbed her waist and pulled her towards him. They looked at each other’s eyes for a while until he leaned in and kissed her passionately. She pulled away and leaned her forehead against his.
“Did you get it?” he whispered, making her smile.
“Yeah, all of it.” she whispered back knowing exactly what he was talking about. Tom chuckled and grabbed her face, pulling her into a long kiss. She wrapped her arms around her neck while he moved his to her waist. Suddenly, he grabbed her ass cheek, moving her against the wall. Both of them feeling content about they’re new multi million dollar deal.

She lives in daydreams with me
or alternatively, when jean and you visit Ikea
⋆⋅☆⋅⋆
pairing: jean x fem! reader
wc: 1.5k+
tags: fluff, modern! au, female reader, language, mentions of food.
a/n: I was inspired by this post, also I just like Ikea, I think Jean would to tbh. am i living out my own daydreams with Jean by writing this? potentially. i love him lol. Feedback and any criticism encouraged lmao.
⋆⋅☆⋅⋆
Your head tilted as you stared dead-on at the boy in front of you.
“Jean, what is that?”
“What are you talking about baby, this is a-” He squinted, looking at the tag, of what you assumed to be a night light?
“An-garna.” Jean looked back up at you, grinning widely.
You had come earlier to Ikea, needing to buy some storage baskets for your room, and yet here you were standing in a miniature model of a child’s room, staring at the six-foot three-man holding a children’s night light, that had...Was that panda face design on it?
“Jean, my love, my dear, we don’t have kids; why on Earth would I need a children’s night light?” The toothy grin quickly disappeared from his face, quickly replaced with a stern expression.
“Just because something is marketed towards children doesn’t mean adults can’t buy it, and anyways I was merely suggesting it, knowing how you can’t sleep after watching horror movies.” It’s more like when he can’t sleep after watching, but his ego would never let him admit that.
You rolled your eyes at your boyfriend, “put it in the cart, Kirstein.” He flashed you a smile, coming over and placing a kiss on your cheek before mumbling a small thank you.
As much as you would act annoyed or unamused when it came to Jean’s antics, it was more or less a front. You loved it when he would let his guard down in public with you. He wasn’t always like this; the Jean you met years prior would be caught dead before expressing his affections in public. He would get easily flustered, blush to sport his face if anyone he knew saw him admiring and doting on his girlfriend. It wasn’t something that deeply upset you; in a way, you were able to keep a tiny part of Jean to yourself, the goofy, tender side of him that he only let out when he was with you. However, watching him become more confident in himself and expressing his love for you outranked any desires that you had to keep Jean bottled up for your gratification.
He walked in front, long legs carrying him practically miles in front of you until he turned a corner and found himself situated in a living-room model. You followed shortly after and saw that he was making himself comfortable on a charcoal-grey couch.
“Mm, come sit,” he patted gently on the cushion next to him, gesturing to you to join him on the sofa. You raised your eyebrows and let out a giggle, situating the cart near a side table before accompanying him.
“What do you wanna watch babe,” Jean tilted his head, signalling to the fake flat-screen in front of you. You thought about tormenting the boy; however, you opted to play along with him this time.
“Oooh, I don’t know, check if the new Grey’s episode is out.” He smiled at you, appreciating your willingness to get lost in this daydream with him. His smile quickly shifted into a mischievous grin as he poked your side.
“Heyyy, what the fuck was that for!” You recoiled, shrinking away from him, but before you could get far enough away from him, he pulled you back into his side. You tried squirming away from him, only for his grip on you to get stronger, and you were met with a chuckle—the noise reverberating around the tiny living room.
“Really? Greys? On a night like this?” You shifted your body, turning your head to look at the “window” covered with sheer beige curtains, overlaid with opaque maroon ones. Outside, or rather you should say the wall was painted white, so you began drumming up a scenario in your mind. That was tonight, a spring evening, stars visible in the night sky? Or a cold and snowy winter’s night? The purple tinge of the atmosphere apparent through the translucent curtains. Jean stared at you intently, wondering what you will come up with, his gaze shifting as the corners of your lips upturned; you had settled on an idea.
“Oooh yeah, it’s practically pitch black outside; I can only see the streetlights in the distance. We should really do something about that pesky tree, though. Its branches keep tapping on the window; it’s frankly quite annoying.” A rosy tinge was present on his cheeks, hazel eyes twinkling at you.
You placed a hand on his chest, your focus entirely on the love-struck boy in front of you, “You know what? We should totally watch a horror movie!” Just as you began to immerse yourself in the daydream, Jean shot up from the couch, leaving an indent where he was sitting behind.
“Alright, enough dilly-dallying, we should go home now.” He clapped his hands together, moving to grab the cart to leave the store display.
Dilly-dallying? Did he really just say dilly-dallying?
“What’s wrong, Jean-boy? This is our home! Oooh, don’t tell me you don’t wanna watch because you’re scared.” You fell back on the couch, beaming, elbows propping you up as you teased him.
“Am not. I just decided that I’m in the mood for cinnamon rolls and fro-yo.” He placed his elbow on the handles of the cart, head resting in the palm of his hand. He gave you an unimpressed look.
“Oh really? Who’s that night-light for again? I seem to have forgotten.” This time it was his turn to roll his eyes at you. Without saying anything, he placed his hands back on the cart’s handle and began to leave the “living room.”
You swung your legs over, a giggle leaving your mouth as you walked over to your boyfriend. You wrapped your arms around his middle, resting your cheek on him. “Babe, I was just joking; I didn’t mean to upset you,” you mumbled into him.
He let out a sigh and stopped in the middle of the aisle. You watched as he brought one of his hands down to grasp one of yours that had taken hold of his waist. Jean turned to face you, head tilting as a slight smirk overtook his face. “That’s what I was waiting to hear.” He placed a soft kiss on your forehead before turning around to continue rolling the cart forward to his destination.
His arm extended behind him, motioning to you to hold his hand. You obliged, your palm sliding in his, fingers curling around your knuckles as his. “Whatever,” you grumbled, choosing to turn your head to observe the variety of rugs that were hanging on display. He tugged at your hand, an amused expression painting his face.
“You want those cinnamon buns or not, pretty girl?” The pet name almost made you choke. He knew what it would do to you. He would use it sparsely, only to coax a reaction out of you, but you weren’t going to give him the satisfaction of letting him know the hold he had over you.
You whipped your head back to face him, confident to quip back at him, but it all melted when you saw the way he was looking at you; a lop-sided smirk, his tongue peeked out to wet his bottom lip before capturing it between his teeth. He raised his eyebrows, waiting for what you had to say.
“Yeah, I do.” You managed to slip a few words out. He had won this one, using his charms to debilitate any assuredness you had. He brought your linked hands up to his lips, tenderly kissing the back of your hand, humming in delight.
“You know, we should come here more often, live out our domestic daydreams together.” The smells of cinnamon buns were getting stronger as you walked on.
“Sure, but you could also just move in with me.”
The tips of his ears went red, and you paused, realizing what you just said, the weight of what you just said. You had thought about asking him to move in with you, but you didn’t mean for it to slip out in the middle of a random conversation; in Ikea nonetheless. “I- You don’t have to. I was just joking. I don’t know why I said that.”
Your voice dwindled to merely a whisper as you completed your sentence. Jean stopped the cart once more. “Yes. Yes, I’ll move in with you.” His expression was earnest as he looked at you, eyes glittering with adoration as he waited for your response.
“Whoa, whoa, hold your horses cowboy. We can talk about this after you get me those cinnamon buns you promised.” you wiped any sense of embarrassment from your face as you tried to suppress your laughter, which was caused by the zealousness your boyfriend had just shown.
However, there was no doubt that your heart did grow in fondness for Jean, and you were relieved that he wasn’t off-put by your haphazard confession. He was absolutely whipped for you, and you couldn’t deny that you were head over heels in love with him either. You desired to continue to share your life with him, and moving in together would be the next step in your relationship.
“Yes, Ma’am” His voice broke you out of your thoughts as he placed his hand to his forehead to salute you. You giggled at his actions.
“Lead the way, Kirstein.”

Tumblr media
pairing: kuroo tetsurou x fem!reader
genre: fluff
word count: 2.0k words
warnings: late night drive, sad thoughts, idk, driving and swears
note: another repost from zumis, but anyways giggles i hope you like it bc i wrote a bit more and edited it!!
dedicated: to @tetsustation as an apology for saying i hoped furudate’s least fav char would be kuroo </3 it was a joke /lh
Tumblr media
“hey,” kuroo’s words are soft in your ear, volume turned down on your phone to make sure your roommates don’t wake up, “did i wake you?”
“mm,” you’re still groggy from sleep and his voice is a soft timbre against your ear, “s’okay, what’s up?
“can’t a guy just call his girlfriend?”
you hum as you think, turning in bed as you tuck your blanket underneath your chin. across the room, your eyes are blurrily trying to focus on the blinding red letters sitting idly on your analog clock. “not when it’s almost two am, ‘suro.”
“well,” he at least has the decency to sound as apologetic as he can over the phone, “i really did just miss you, wanted to hear your voice.”
it’s only kuroo’s fault when your phone slips from your hands, pillow pressed to your face with your hands as you scream as silently as you can into it. without meaning to, he makes butterflies erupt in your stomach and you try to gather yourself as you bring your phone back up to your ear, hand loosely against your mouth.
“it is way too early for you to be doing this to me,” your scolding is light, and from his faint chuckle, has most likely fallen on deaf ears, “is there anything you want me to do for you?”
there’s a pause and you can hear a little bit of shuffling around from kuroo’s end of the phone before his voice is back, slightly softer than before, “you could come outside.”
“what?”
“you heard me, sweetheart,” you can practically hear the teasing smile that’s on his face as you sit up in your bed, pushing the curtain away from your window to look outside. sure enough, you can recognize the silhouette of your boyfriend faintly illuminated by the streetlight, “come outside.”
“you’re so lucky,” his laughter is cut short as you hang up on him. you climb out of bed and grab a hoodie off of your desk chair, shoving your phone in your pocket as you open your door as quietly as possible.
sneaking downstairs isn’t an issue, and while you shove your shoes on carelessly, you take the quick minute you’re standing still to shove the sweater you had stolen from kuroo over your head. it hangs low, but you’re pulling the heel of your shoes back into their rightful positions as you’re leaving your house.
the door closes with a soft click, and a pair of hands end up resting on your hips as a familiar weight is pressed against the top of your head. it’s not long before kuroo’s arms are wrapped around your waist firmly, and you know you’re not getting out of it until he feels like letting you go, so you lean back into him.
your eyes close as you place your hand over his hands. you keep your voice low as you turn your head to try and get a glance at him, “are you okay?”
the silence itself is enough of an answer for you that you just run your thumb along the ridges of his knuckles. kuroo is one of the best communicators you’d ever dated, and it was always a bad sign if he was being too silent about what was going on inside of his head. you’d learned that unlike many of your friends, kuroo preferred the silence of your presence rather than small talk if he wasn’t feeling his best.
you turn your head backwards at an odd angle to press a kiss to the underside of his jaw as he holds you gently, the only light being the moon over your heads and the warm yellow glow coming from the streetlight a few feet away from your front steps. he’s still quiet when you end up turning in his arms, nose tucked into the warm spot where his pulse rests, steady and loud as you stand on your front step for a few seconds. it reminds you that he’s real and is a tangible reminder of the man you love.
kuroo’s car is parked on the side of the road a little ways away, lights off and engine running as he starts running his hands through your hair. it’s light, right by the outside of your ear and he kisses the crown of your head with soothing touches.
“wanna go on a drive?” his words are barely above a whisper and you can only nod against him, not wanting to move too much before you have. his hands leave your hair as he steps back to look at you.
most of his face is just shadows, the light illuminating the outer edges of his hair but you can still manage to distinguish the handsome lines of his face. despite covering an eye, he’s always had the type of face that you always want to look at and even almost two years into your relationship, that fact still hasn’t changed. when he offers you the smallest of smiles, you can see the exhaustion lining his expression, laced between the adoration he has for you in his eyes.
his hands find their way to your cheeks, cupping carefully as he rubs a finger along the curve of your cheekbone. he leans down to rub your noses together for a second, eyes slipping close and he looks at ease for a brief moment before sealing your lips together.
your hands hang off of his forearms as you press close together, warmth finding you in each other’s embrace. kuroo’s kiss is slow, unhurried, and it steals the sleepiness from you as he turns his head to the side slightly. he tastes like laughter on a summer day, endless nights filled with your hands shoved outside of the sunroof of your too-old-to-be-on-the-road car, and the citrusy tang of clementines and oranges you’d stole from your neighbor.
in the next few minutes the two of you share a few more kisses, each as quick and as dizzying as the one before. as he pulls away, you’re relieved to see some of the stress shed from his expression, eyes bright and awake as he looks back at you. his hand winds with yours as you start the walk to his car, lazily making your way there.
he pulls the door of his car open for you, waiting for you to get in before walking around the front to his own side. when he gets into the car, he double checks to make sure you’re buckled in before he puts his car into drive, pulling out onto your street as he fishes his phone out of his pocket for you.
“any preferences for tonight’s playlist?” unlocking his phone, you’re somewhere on his spotify—scrolling through the amalgamation of absolutely atrocious study playlist names he’d crafted over the years—when he finally settles on something a bit more relaxing than his most recently played playlist.
together, the two of you enjoy the passing scenery as you start to slip into tokyo’s nightscape. the lights are bright and you can’t help but be mesmerized by them as kuroo drives, no end destination in mind, just wanting to enjoy each other’s presence for the moment.
kuroo has always been spontaneous like this for as long as you have been dating. in fact, he had asked you out on a whim, coming off the high of winning a volleyball game in high school. you were in the crowd because he had asked you to come watch him. you wouldn’t get the privilege of wearing his jersey until you became official, but you still decided to represent your school in a borrowed sweater you had stolen from him.
he was sweaty, but his smile was so radiant when he looked up at you leaning over the railing protecting you from falling. he waved with both hands, and you had waved back with matched enthusiasm.
kuroo had ended up yelling up to you, asking you out for the very first time in front of everyone who had come to watch. while you hated the attention, you had nodded hurriedly before making your way down to the court to get enveloped in a big, sweaty kuroo hug.
you distinctly remember kenma thanking you later for saving him from having to hug kuroo that night.
“love,” your hand finds his where it rests near the shifter, “what brought this on?”
your head is leaning against the headrest as he sighs softly, turning his hand over to twine your fingers together in a warm grasp, “i just, i couldn’t stop thinking.”
you make a noise of acknowledgement, knowing that he would know that you were listening, but just letting him take his time to tell you what was going on. while very spontaneous, kuroo wasn’t one for staying up too late, citing that a good night’s sleep was one of the first and best steps you could take for a better education. his dedication was one of the things you admire about him, even if it meant you were missing your boyfriend for a good hour at night
“i’m just worried,” his admission is barely audible over the music playing and the soothing rumble of his car’s engine as you change lanes on the highway, “about everything that’s changing.”
“i know that things have to change,” while he talks, you just watch, the lines of stress crossing over his face almost disappearing in the darkness, “but i don’t want to leave school. i’ve made so many friends and i met you, and i just can’t help but feel scared for what’s going to happen when we don’t have it anymore.”
you tighten your grip where your hands rest as you smile at him, despite the fact he’s focusing on the road, “‘suro, you know how you made a lot of good friends in school?”
he nods ever so slightly, voice cracking just slightly as he answers, “yeah.”
“just think about all the friends you’re going to make when you go into the real world,” you’re worrying your thumb over the back of his hand, “you’re very charismatic, and you’re good with other people, smart, too. you’re not lacking in great qualities, and people will recognize that.”
“not to mention,” you’ve adjusted yourself in your seat, tucking a leg underneath yourself so that you can face him more directly, “kenma, yaku, nobuyuki, and myself will always answer when you call or text. you’ll be away from home, but we’ll all be available for you, ‘suro.”
“we’re leaving school,” you start, eyes tracing the skyline of the city as you feel a small smile spread across your lips, “but life won’t end, and our friends won’t stop being our friends, and i’ll never stop being yours.”
you’re pulling up to a stoplight when he turns to look at you, side of his face bright red from the light as he gives you an easy going smile. you press the palm of your free hand to his cheek, and his eyes close, savoring the moment. he pulls your joined hands together to kiss your knuckles, featherlight before pulling away to lean across his center console.
“i love you,” his words are a mumble against your lips as you enjoy the quiet moment.
it’s almost three am, now, so when the light turns green, the pair of you are unconcerned as kuroo doesn’t press his foot against the gas, instead just content to be with each other. the changing colors of the stoplight is a backdrop to the press of his lips, a hand curling into his hair as he pulls you closer to him over the center console.it digs into your side a bit, and the seatbelt presses into your chest at an uncomfortable angle, but it’s all very you and kuroo so you don’t mind it.
kuroo’s worries won’t disappear overnight, and you know that you can only begin to soothe the deep seeded insecurities he holds. you’ll be content as long as he knows you’ll always be there to drive with him and watch the sunrise together, your fingers laced with his.

Pairing: Bang Chan x female reader
Genre: Romance, eventual smut, slow burn
Warnings: Idol!Chan, awkward date, mentions of food, suggestive (just a mention of penis, lol)
Word count: 1.702
Chapters: 1, 2
Tumblr media
"Are you an idol?"
"What are you going to wear?" Mia asked. She was sitting on your bed, next to a pile of clothes. You were trying to choose the perfect outfit but nothing looked good enough. Yeah, you were panicking. "I don't know," you whined, defeated. "Why don't you wear a cute dress? Like this one?" Mia raised a white tight dress in the air.
"Mia, it's a date at his house. I need to wear something casual but it still needs to make me look hot. I need new clothes." "Nope." Mia got up, gathering some clothes from the mess on your bed. "You need to get your shit together. Here." She handed you a white long sleeve shirt and a leather skirt that made your ass look amazing. "Use it with some vans and boom! Hot and cozy." "I think that will do." "And for your make-up?" "I want something soft since I'm only going to his house." "Makes sense. Get ready already so I can take you there." "Are you really going to do this for me, bestie?" You made a silly face. Mia rolled her eyes. "Just get dressed."
Tumblr media
Mia stopped her car at the address that Chan sent you. She asked you if you wanted her to get you when you left, but you assured her that you would take an uber. On the way, you messaged Chan telling him that you were close. When you arrived, he was waiting for you at the door. "Hi," you waved at him. For a moment you realized that you looked like an excited teenager and you had to fight the urge to laugh at yourself. "Hey," Chan smiled and hugged you. It was a quick hug but it was enough to make you feel your legs shaking. "Come in," he said. You noticed how that the place looked big, it was well decorated but simple, nothing fancy. "So, remember the guys you saw at the restaurant with me?" Chan asked, standing next to the door with you. He helped you to take your coat off so he could hang it on the coat rack. "Yes, I do." "We live together. I asked them to leave, so it's just the two of us." "Oh," you widened your eyes. "Okay." "I-It's not what you're thinking though. It's just so we could have privacy." He raised his hands, trying to defend himself. "It's okay," you laughed. "I think it's for the best. I would probably feel really embarrassed around a bunch of boys I don't know." Both of you stayed there for a moment, avoiding each other's eyes, not knowing what to say. Chan was wearing a white t-shirt that looked really good on him and some jeans. His hair was way too styled up for someone who was staying at home. "It's there something burning?" you asked. "Oh, shit!" Chan ran to the kitchen, trying to save something that was inside of the oven. "Oh, fuck," he complained while he put it on the balcony. Whatever that was, it was not edible anymore. "What was that?" you asked him. "I wanted to do something different for our date so I tried to cook a pie. But it clearly didn't work." You laughed out loud, throwing your head back. "I'm sorry, Chan," you said, crying because of how much you were laughing. Chan smiled, feeling satisfied by hearing you laugh. "It's okay," he giggled. "I guess we'll have to order takeout." "Sounds good to me," you chuckled, cleaning your tears. Chan ordered fast food. You were eating it in the kitchen with him but you couldn't help but notice the poorly placed curtain at the end of the kitchen. You laughed. "What?" Chan asked, his mouth full of food. "Nothing," you said. "Hey, I wanted to ask you something. It's okay if you don't want to talk about it." Chan raised his eyebrow. "What is it?" "Are you an idol?" Chan widened his eyes, choking on his food. He grabbed a cup of juice to help him out.  After taking two big sips and clearing his throat, he started to talk. "Uhm, yes, I'm an idol,” his voice was low almost like he was telling you a secret. "That's very nice, Chan." "Sorry for not telling you." He looked worried. "It's just that things are way more complicated when it comes to relationships when you are an idol, and-" "Look," you interrupted him. "You don't have to explain yourself. It's not like you were hiding that you were married with kids." Chan laughed, feeling relieved. "Your friends, they are also part of the group, right?" "Yes. I'm the leader," Chan said with a soft smile and pride in his expression. Chan talked about the group, their hardships, and the members. You could see the love in his eyes when he talked about them. He clearly was passionate about it. He assured you that he would introduce you to them the next time. "So there will be a next time?" you purred. "If you want to." He smiled and you felt your heart skip a beat. "I would love to."
"There something..." Chan said, pointing to your mouth. "What?" "There something on your mouth." "Here?" you asked, touching the right corner of your mouth. "Here," Chan reached to your mouth, cleaning it with his thumb. You knew that your cheeks were bright red. You chuckled, lowering your head and looking at your food. "Thank you," you whispered. "You look really cute when you're shy," Chan teased. "Stop," you laughed, hiding your face with your hands. "Don't act like you're not shy too." "I am," Chan agreed, shaking his head and licking his lips. "It's been a while since the last time I had a date. I don't really have much free time." He looked thoughtful. You noticed that he was trying to be careful with his words. Maybe he didn't want to scare you away. "I can imagine." "To be honest, I wasn't even looking for a date. But when I saw you..." Chan stopped and looked at you, his eyes were shining bright, his cheeks red and the cute dimples were prominent on his face while he smiled. "I don't know. You are something else." "Chan, stop." You closed your eyes, not knowing how to deal with his compliments. "You barely know me." "That's why we are on a date, right? I want to know everything about you." You smiled. Maybe he was just being a philanderer. But the way he looked at you made you feel like he was being honest. You and Chan talked a lot. He wasn't joking when he said that he wanted to know everything about you. He asked about your work, your family, your friends, your dreams, the things you liked to do. He listened to you with so much attention and care that you didn't even notice that it was late.
"I think I should get going," you said, the disappointment of leaving was very clear in your voice.
"Really?" Chan pouted. "Yeah, I have to work tomorrow." "Okay," Chan got up to get your coat. "Thank you for coming, I had a lot of fun today." "Thank you for having me," you said, following him. "I'm sorry for not being able to take you home." "Chan, don't worry about it." Chan locked eyes with you. You saw his eyes wandering for a moment to your lips while he licked his. You felt like you were going to faint if he didn't do something. Should you kiss him? Was he going to kiss you? You weren't able to know the answer because somebody opened the door, startling both of you. "Oh, hey. Sorry, I forgot about your date," a tall man said. "Y/N, this is Hyunjin, Hyunjin, this is Y/N," Chan said, his lips distorting in a way that showed that he was upset for being interrupted. "Nice to meet you," you giggled. "Nice to meet you too." "I have to go," you said, walking through them to the door. "Text me when you get home, okay?" Chan asked. "Sure! Bye." You waved at him and left. While you were walking away, you were pretty sure you heard Chan saying something like "I could have kissed her if it wasn't for you" to Hyunjin. You laughed.
Tumblr media
"How was it?" you heard Mia asking through your phone. You threw yourself on the bed, sighing. "It was amazing." "Don't fall in love, girl. It was just one date." "I'm not in love." You rolled your eyes. "But it's impossible not to be amazed by him." "Did he kissed you?" "No. I think he was about to but somebody else came home and I left." "I can't believe you ran away," Mia mocked you. "I didn't run away, Mia. I just... I don't know, I'm too shy about this. I'm not bold like you" you scoffed. "t's okay, baby. I still love you even though you are a little chicken." You rolled your eyes again. Suddenly, you heard the ringtone of your phone indicating that you had a message. It was from Chan. "Wait, hold on. I'll call you later, I just got a message from Chan." "I hope it is a picture of his big cock." "Mia!" you laughed. "Bye." "Bye, girl." You opened the text to see what Chan sent to you. Chan, 10:32 pm: Hey Chan, 10:32 pm: I was wondering if you wanna come over to watch a movie Chan, 10:32 pm: When you are free Y/N, 10:32 pm: yeah, sure Y/N, 10:33 pm: I would love to Chan, 10:33 pm: Okay then Chan, 10:33 pm: I'll introduce you to my friends Chan, 10:34 pm: But I need to warn you that they are very loud Y/N, 10:35 pm: that sounds fun Y/N, 10:37 pm: I need to warn you that I might stay a little shy for a while Chan, 10:38 pm: It's okay Chan, 10:38 pm: You can hold my hand if you want Chan, 10:38 pm: You know, just to help you overcome your shyness Y/N, 10:38: I would love to You smiled and went to sleep, excited for your next date with Chan.
